- 0:01Speaker 1: The White House on if Joe Biden has agreed with
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hunter defining the subpoena. Hunter can make his own choices.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Is how they described it on CNN. I'm going to
- 0:09Speaker 1: play this for you because it's happened this morning and
- 0:13Speaker 1: it was truly shocking as I was watching it and
- 0:15Speaker 1: I was like, I just got to go with this.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I want you to listen to CNN this morning. The
- 0:21Speaker 1: White House spokesman for Oversight Investigations, Ian Sam's, responding to
- 0:26Speaker 1: questions on whether President Joe Biden agreed with his son
- 0:30Speaker 1: Hunter defying a congressional subpoena. Listen carefully to what the
- 0:35Speaker 1: White House said. It was a shocking eight minute back
- 0:39Speaker 1: and forth.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Spokesman for the White House special or a special the
- 0:42Speaker 2: White House Counsel's Office, Ian Sam's, Ian, appreciate you being
- 0:45Speaker 2: here this morning. I want to start with what House
- 0:47Speaker 2: Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordans said yesterday about the rationale
- 0:51Speaker 2: for having the formalized vote, saying, quote, thinks it will
- 0:54Speaker 2: help us get key individuals into speak with us anymore
- 0:57Speaker 2: timely fashion and get us documents that mister has been
- 1:00Speaker 2: after for a while.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Is that true?
- 1:03Speaker 4: No, these guys have made up and moved the goalposts
- 1:07Speaker 4: every step of the way of this investigation. It's all baseless.
- 1:10Speaker 4: They've been investigating the president all year long. For example,
- 1:13Speaker 4: They've gotten one hundred thousand pages of documents, They've interviewed
- 1:17Speaker 4: witnesses for forty hours, and guess what they've come up with,
- 1:21Speaker 4: Not a single shred of evidence of any wrongdoing of
- 1:24Speaker 4: any kind by President Biden. Yet they're storming ahead with
- 1:28Speaker 4: this impeachment stunt anyway to please their far right base
- 1:32Speaker 4: and play politics, and it really cheapens what is a
- 1:36Speaker 4: historically grave constitutional remedy of last resort. They're using it
- 1:40Speaker 4: almost like a like a political attack ad. And they're
- 1:44Speaker 4: going to keep doing this over and over and over
- 1:46Speaker 4: again because every time they float a claim about the president,
- 1:50Speaker 4: a claim of wrongdoing, it gets debunked and they get embarrassed.
- 1:54Speaker 4: And what's really unfortunate is that the entire Republican Conference
- 1:58Speaker 4: has now gone along with this stuff instead of taking
- 2:01Speaker 4: action on real priorities, on real issues that are facing
- 2:05Speaker 4: the country and the world as we head into the
- 2:07Speaker 4: end of the year, and these Republicans are leaving town
- 2:10Speaker 4: for a month without acting, you know.
- 2:12Speaker 2: To that point, the unanimous Republican vote, I think would
- 2:15Speaker 2: have surprised people three or four years, three or four
- 2:17Speaker 2: weeks ago. One of the reasons, or the primary reason
- 2:20Speaker 2: that a lot of moderate Republicans or Republicans from Biden
- 2:23Speaker 2: won districts, particularly places like New York, said they needed
- 2:26Speaker 2: the tools right, they needed this was going to give
- 2:28Speaker 2: them the ability to As Chairman Jordan was saying, have
- 2:31Speaker 2: people come in do more of the investigation, which was
- 2:34Speaker 2: in part driven by your own Special Council from the
- 2:36Speaker 2: White House Council's Office, citing a Trump era Office of
- 2:39Speaker 2: Legal Council opinion that said without a formal vote, you
- 2:44Speaker 2: could not have the compulsory process that comes with impeachment power.
- 2:47Speaker 2: So I guess did the White House dare them to
- 2:48Speaker 2: go down this path?
- 2:50Speaker 4: Well, there's a process you're supposed to follow in congressional oversight,
- 2:55Speaker 4: and these guys just haven't followed it.
- 2:57Speaker 5: They've blazed right through.
- 2:58Speaker 4: We've offered over and over and over again throughout this
- 3:01Speaker 4: Congress to meet with them, to talk with them, to
- 3:04Speaker 4: hear about any legitimate informational needs that they may have,
- 3:09Speaker 4: and time and time again they've ghosted us. They don't
- 3:12Speaker 4: respond to questions that we have for them. They don't
- 3:14Speaker 4: reach out to have meetings. So they've just blazed through
- 3:17Speaker 4: this process. And there's a reason why. The reason why
- 3:20Speaker 4: is that this is a preordained outcome.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Don't forget Marjorie Taylor.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Grew by the way, this is like I was watching
- 3:27Speaker 1: this and I was laughing because even CNN is like,
- 3:31Speaker 1: you're making up crap at a level that we can't
- 3:34Speaker 1: even like comprehend this idea that you've asked questions.
- 3:39Speaker 6: By the way, that's just that's a lie.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And they know that that's a lie. The idea that
- 3:44Speaker 1: they blaze through the process is a lie. They've actually
- 3:47Speaker 1: gone extremely slow through this process. Go look at the
- 3:51Speaker 1: timeline of how slow they went through the process with
- 3:56Speaker 1: this this process, comparing it to the process that they
- 4:01Speaker 1: went through with Donald Trump for not one, but two impeachments.
- 4:06Speaker 1: The idea that they've asked questions and haven't gotten that back,
- 4:09Speaker 1: this is the first time the White House has ever
- 4:11Speaker 1: said that ever. And we know that that's not true.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And we have a hunt and we have Hunter Biden
- 4:17Speaker 1: and Joe Biden that have refused to give over information
- 4:20Speaker 1: to the point that whistle blowers had to come forward
- 4:23Speaker 1: and to expose what was actually happening. So when you
- 4:28Speaker 1: when you're listening to this propaganda, even CNN is listening
- 4:33Speaker 1: to this and and basically kind of rolling their eyes
- 4:36Speaker 1: like are you kidding me? Like it's like, like you
- 4:38Speaker 1: really want us to believe this? Like you actually want
- 4:42Speaker 1: us to believe what you're saying right now?
- 4:45Speaker 6: There is no way.
- 4:48Speaker 1: There there is there's there's no way that this is reality,
- 4:52Speaker 1: right Like, it's impossible that you actually believe what you're saying,
- 4:57Speaker 1: yet that is exactly what they are saying.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Again, keep listening. It gets even better.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Green, who right now is probably the most powerful member
- 5:06Speaker 4: of the House Republican Conference, introduced articles of impeachment on
- 5:10Speaker 4: day one of Joe Biden's presidency, before he could even
- 5:14Speaker 4: be the president do anything. They've decided from the moment
- 5:18Speaker 4: that he took office that they were going to impeach him.
- 5:20Speaker 4: And this is a natural continuation of that process. And
- 5:24Speaker 4: now what they've done is wasted millions and millions of
- 5:26Speaker 4: taxpayer dollars on a phishing expedition trying to drum up
- 5:30Speaker 4: an excuse for it. So let's I want to ask
- 5:32Speaker 4: you about the ways through this process wrongly, And I
- 5:35Speaker 4: don't think that that's a fair characterization. And I think
- 5:38Speaker 4: that as the facts come out, people will see that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: On the point you're making now, the question has been
- 5:42Speaker 2: what underpins the process here? What underpins the allegations here?
- 5:46Speaker 2: And speaker Mike Johnson and a USA Today opinion piece
- 5:49Speaker 2: laid out what he said were the accusations that they
- 5:51Speaker 2: are currently pursuing. They include from twenty fourteen to twenty
- 5:55Speaker 2: nineteen Biden family members.
- 5:56Speaker 1: By the way, let's just pause here. I want you
- 5:58Speaker 1: to understand how much that pendulum has swung.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Here.
- 6:02Speaker 1: CNN is actually about to explain to the White House
- 6:06Speaker 1: and put it up on the screen what the accusations
- 6:11Speaker 1: are against the president of the United States of America.
- 6:14Speaker 1: This is the first time that has ever happened. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: the fact that Hunter Biden tried to bypass the House
- 6:22Speaker 1: rules and not be deposed privately, which Donald Trump's children did,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and only do a public hearing shows he's used to
- 6:32Speaker 1: quote never playing by the rules number two, thinking the
- 6:35Speaker 1: rules don't apply to him or the Biden family, and
- 6:38Speaker 1: expecting the rules to be changed for him. And at
- 6:41Speaker 1: this point, the real question is can you blame him
- 6:44Speaker 1: for that can you actually blame him for thinking, I
- 6:48Speaker 1: don't have to abide by the rules. I don't have
- 6:50Speaker 1: to play by the rules. I don't have to do
- 6:53Speaker 1: what's being said that I must do right. I don't
- 6:56Speaker 1: have to deal with any of this. I get to
- 6:59Speaker 1: do whatever I want to do, whenever I want.
- 7:03Speaker 6: To do it. That is the.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That's the reality of the Biden crime family. When they
- 7:11Speaker 1: need the rules changed or a crime covered up, then
- 7:15Speaker 1: they just cover it up. That's just like they just say,
- 7:19Speaker 1: all right, I will literally cover it up, and they
- 7:22Speaker 1: cover it up. There is one thing here that I
- 7:25Speaker 1: do think is interesting and it should be pointed out.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Number one, and I think this is a really really
- 7:31Speaker 1: really really really important point that needs to be made,
- 7:35Speaker 1: is that the White House was assuming that this would
- 7:39Speaker 1: probably not happen, and then all of a sudden it did.
- 7:42Speaker 1: So that's been a tragedy to their mindset.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Number Two.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Now you have to deal with another real issue, and
- 7:49Speaker 1: that's the issue of impeachment and do and then you
- 7:52Speaker 1: have to deal with your son is his indictment and
- 7:55Speaker 1: what do you do next with an indictment. Many believe
- 7:59Speaker 1: that there's a good answered the president would pardon his son.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I have no doubt he would pardon his son. There's
- 8:04Speaker 1: no way he's not going to because his son was
- 8:06Speaker 1: his bagman and made of millions and millions of dollars.
- 8:09Speaker 6: But the White House, for the first.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Time ever goes on friendly CNN, and the White House
- 8:15Speaker 1: has to answer from CNN in shocking and just sitting
- 8:20Speaker 1: there listening to all of the accusations that have been
- 8:25Speaker 1: leveled against the President of the United States of America
- 8:29Speaker 1: on CNN.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Take a listen or.
- 8:32Speaker 2: The accusations that they are currently pursuing. They include from
- 8:35Speaker 2: twenty fourteen to twenty nineteen, Biden family members and affiliates
- 8:38Speaker 2: have more than fifteen million dollars.
- 8:39Speaker 3: From foreign entities.
- 8:40Speaker 2: There are twenty two examples of President Biden speaking or
- 8:43Speaker 2: meeting with Hunter Biden's forign business associates, payments to President
- 8:46Speaker 2: Biden from Hunter Biden's business account, and interim report saying
- 8:49Speaker 2: is there's special treatment of Hunter Biden from the Justice Department,
- 8:52Speaker 2: incredible FBI source giving information about alleged bribe to then
- 8:56Speaker 2: Vice President Biden, and that the President of the White
- 8:58Speaker 2: House have lied multiple times about his involvement in his
- 9:01Speaker 2: family's business schemes.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Do you di view all of those just out right.
- 9:04Speaker 1: By the way, can you imagine being the White House
- 9:06Speaker 1: in that moment, You're like, holy crap, did that just happen?
- 9:10Speaker 6: Liked, did we just witness this? Did that really just happen?
- 9:13Speaker 1: Did we just have a moment here where CNN reported
- 9:18Speaker 1: the news of the accusations. Now there is a takeaway
- 9:23Speaker 1: from this, okay, And you have to understand what this
- 9:28Speaker 1: takeaway is. The takeaway here from my perspective, is that
- 9:35Speaker 1: the media is starting to turn on Joe Biden, not
- 9:40Speaker 1: because they don't like him, but because they think he's
- 9:42Speaker 1: now becoming too big of a liability. Okay, they are
- 9:49Speaker 1: afraid that he may not be able to get re
- 9:52Speaker 1: elected and the poll numbers and they're finding out, now,
- 9:56Speaker 1: is there a way to offload him or force him out?
- 10:00Speaker 1: That is really what this is all about. So that
- 10:03Speaker 1: you understand, like that is the core of this, okay.
- 10:08Speaker 1: And so the White House, they're asked, they're like, you
- 10:10Speaker 1: just deny all of this and listen to the White
- 10:13Speaker 1: House's response.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Not only do I dispute those outright, They've been debunked
- 10:19Speaker 4: time and time again. Just two days ago, the day
- 10:21Speaker 4: before the House held this vote. Republicans in Congress were
- 10:26Speaker 4: telling your colleagues in the media that there is no
- 10:28Speaker 4: evidentiary basis for them to pursue impeachment, that they've seen nothing.
- 10:32Speaker 5: They don't.
- 10:33Speaker 6: By the way, that's a lie. That's not true.
- 10:36Speaker 1: They're literally just making up conversations that never happened. Okay,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I just want to be clear. They just made up
- 10:45Speaker 1: things that had never actually happened. And of course Shannon's
- 10:49Speaker 1: going to let them get away with that, right, They're
- 10:51Speaker 1: not going to challenge them on what was said they
- 10:55Speaker 1: claim behind closed doors that was never said by Republicans.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And you just went through the list of all the
- 11:01Speaker 1: accusations and then they say, oh, none of them are true,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and Republicans don't.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Even believe these, Well, that's also a lie.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It's not that I believe them or don't believe them,
- 11:11Speaker 1: it's that the facts back it up and the facts
- 11:13Speaker 1: show that this is the case.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Right.
- 11:16Speaker 1: That is the difference here is that the facts clearly
- 11:20Speaker 1: show that this is the case and this is what's
- 11:23Speaker 1: actually happening. The documents, the bank records, the wired transfers.
- 11:29Speaker 6: That's what this shows.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It's what you can't dispute it in the White House Council,
- 11:37Speaker 1: some of the GOP decided to impeach Biden from the
- 11:39Speaker 1: moment he took office.
- 11:41Speaker 6: That's because of the laptop from Hell.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That's because of the corruption that we saw and witnessed
- 11:46Speaker 1: in that laptop. That's why, Like, that's the part that
- 11:50Speaker 1: people need to understand and then continue listen.
- 11:53Speaker 4: See the grounds for it, is what a Republican senator
- 11:56Speaker 4: told Politico. So they're just making up lies to attack
- 12:00Speaker 4: the president in a relentless sphere campaign that frankly has
- 12:03Speaker 4: been going on for four straight years now. We went
- 12:06Speaker 4: through an impeachment in the last administration over these same
- 12:10Speaker 4: made up allegations, and Republicans in the House are just
- 12:13Speaker 4: rewinding the tape and running it again to try to
- 12:16Speaker 4: score political points against the president instead of doing their
- 12:19Speaker 4: actual jobs for the American people. He pointed out one
- 12:23Speaker 4: of those things I want to they act like they
- 12:25Speaker 4: get these smoking guns and they create a ton of
- 12:28Speaker 4: attention and energy, and they act they send the siren
- 12:31Speaker 4: emojis on Twitter, and it turns out last week, for example,
- 12:34Speaker 4: one of those payments that they're talking about was about
- 12:37Speaker 4: a pickup trucks that there these are the kinds of
- 12:41Speaker 4: things that they are taking up.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I do want to act the president while I have you.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Hunter Biden had a very public moment yesterday outside of
- 12:48Speaker 2: the House saying, you want to testify publicly? Would not
- 12:49Speaker 2: meet behind closed doors? Uh with House Republicans. The White
- 12:53Speaker 2: House is said the President was aware that Hunter Biden
- 12:56Speaker 2: was going to do that, was aware of what he
- 12:57Speaker 2: was going to say.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Did he agree with the strategy of doing that.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Well, Look, I'm not going to get into father's conversations
- 13:03Speaker 4: with his son except to say Hunter's a private person.
- 13:06Speaker 4: He can make his own decisions about how to handle
- 13:08Speaker 4: these sorts of things. But the President loves and is
- 13:10Speaker 4: very proud of him. He overcame a very dark period
- 13:13Speaker 4: in his life and has stood tall and is on
- 13:16Speaker 4: and is in recovery. And also, it should be pointed
- 13:19Speaker 4: out something that's getting lost. Hunter offered to testify publicly
- 13:23Speaker 4: and transparently. He offered, and the House Republicans rejected it.
- 13:28Speaker 4: And it gets to the point of what they're.
- 13:29Speaker 6: Doing, which, by the way, I love this right.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I won't go and do a deposition like everyone else
- 13:34Speaker 1: has to do. I'm going to defy a subpoena and
- 13:37Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what I will and won't do.
- 13:40Speaker 1: This goes back to what I said a moment ago.
- 13:43Speaker 6: Uh what what?
- 13:44Speaker 1: What is clear here is Hunter Biden believes that the
- 13:47Speaker 1: rules should always be changed for him, Hunter Biden, and
- 13:53Speaker 1: they act like this is some big deal, right, They're like, Oh, well,
- 13:56Speaker 1: you don't what you don't understand?
- 13:58Speaker 6: What? What? What?
- 13:58Speaker 1: You don't comprehend? What you're missing here is that I offered. Look,
- 14:04Speaker 1: the fact is Hunter tried to bypass the House rules
- 14:09Speaker 1: not be deposed privately, the same thing that Donald Trump's
- 14:13Speaker 1: children had to do when he was the president, and
- 14:15Speaker 1: only do a public hearing. What does it show you?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Number One, he never believes he has to play by
- 14:22Speaker 1: the rules. Number Two, the Bidens think the rules don't
- 14:24Speaker 1: apply to them as a family. Number Three, they're expecting
- 14:27Speaker 1: the rules to be changed when they don't like the
- 14:29Speaker 1: rules to what they want them to be.
- 14:31Speaker 6: And at this point, again, can you blame him? Right?
- 14:33Speaker 1: This White House has gone rogue on a level that
- 14:35Speaker 1: we've never witnessed before. And they obviously believe right now
- 14:41Speaker 1: that they can get away and they can do whatever
- 14:44Speaker 1: it is they want to do now. CNN did not
- 14:48Speaker 1: push back on letting the White House say what they
- 14:50Speaker 1: wanted to say, obviously, but it is important that people
- 14:54Speaker 1: understand that this is the first time we have ever
- 14:57Speaker 1: seen this happen at the hand of CNN.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Uh.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I will say this, I was shocked when I watched
- 15:05Speaker 1: this this morning because it was just something that I
- 15:07Speaker 1: couldn't believe I was actually witnessing that this was, that
- 15:10Speaker 1: this was actually even a conversation, that that was that
- 15:16Speaker 1: was that was that we were having.
- 15:19Speaker 6: It was.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It was truly shocking to me that CNN was there,
- 15:24Speaker 1: and I'm like, all right, so what does this mean?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Because they're not doing this, because they're actually doing their job.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I think what it boils down to and what we
- 15:32Speaker 1: are witnessing is it's a this is a okay, we
- 15:39Speaker 1: might need.
- 15:39Speaker 6: To get rid of him. How do we get rid
- 15:42Speaker 6: of him? Right?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Like, like, how do we how do we get rid
- 15:46Speaker 1: of him? And what does that look like? And if
- 15:51Speaker 1: we float this out there for the first time, will
- 15:54Speaker 1: it go anywhere? I want you to listen to the
- 15:57Speaker 1: last part of the interview here again, this was an
- 16:00Speaker 1: eight minute segment on CNN talking about the president, impeatriment
- 16:05Speaker 1: and Hunter Biden's crimes.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Here they'll never be satisfied.
- 16:08Speaker 4: They're going to continue attacking over and over and over again,
- 16:11Speaker 4: no matter what facts come out, no matter what the
- 16:13Speaker 4: truth is. And what's really scary about what's happening right
- 16:16Speaker 4: now is they're abusing such a grave constitutional process to
- 16:19Speaker 4: do it.
- 16:21Speaker 2: In the statement that Hunter Biden made yesterday, he said,
- 16:25Speaker 2: let me stay as clearly as I can, my father
- 16:26Speaker 2: was not financially involved in my business.
- 16:28Speaker 3: He was unequivocal about that.
- 16:30Speaker 2: But that is an evolution of where the President had
- 16:32Speaker 2: been during the campaign, where the White House had been
- 16:34Speaker 2: at the start of the administration.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Not involved financially in the business is very different than.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Never talked about the business, not been involved in the
- 16:40Speaker 2: business at all. Was that an intentional point of clarity?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Do you think I actually dispute the whole premise of
- 16:45Speaker 4: that question. Is why it's one of Jim Jordan's favorite
- 16:48Speaker 4: little shiny objects, is to try to take a semantic
- 16:50Speaker 4: thing and make an argument that is somehow far afield
- 16:54Speaker 4: from what they're actually focused on. We've been extremely clear
- 16:57Speaker 4: over and over again for years, and nothing has changed.
- 17:00Speaker 4: The President was not in business with his son period.
- 17:02Speaker 4: They're trying to make up all sorts of allegations and make.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Us well with respect. I'm not citing Aim Jordan here.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I was in some of the White House tress briefings
- 17:10Speaker 2: where it was said explicitly the President did not talk.
- 17:12Speaker 3: To his son about business dealing.
- 17:14Speaker 2: That is very clearly not the case, and I think
- 17:16Speaker 2: the statement from the White House has changed and I
- 17:19Speaker 2: think been a little bit more precise over the course
- 17:21Speaker 2: of the last several months. It's what the President said
- 17:23Speaker 2: on the campaign trail as well. I'm not saying this
- 17:26Speaker 2: is like an impeachable sense or some grand indictment, but
- 17:30Speaker 2: it is a fact that the President said one thing
- 17:32Speaker 2: that ended up being not true.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Again, I dispute that that that's true. That is not true.
- 17:38Speaker 5: The truth is that he wasn't in business with his son.
- 17:40Speaker 4: The Republicans have been for years trying to make arguments.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Again, I'm not saying that he with his son.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Over and over again, those have been refuted, and so
- 17:49Speaker 4: what they do is they try to take semantic games
- 17:51Speaker 4: and try to distract from the actual truth, which is
- 17:54Speaker 4: that all of these things have been debunked. These allegations
- 17:57Speaker 4: are false, and they're using their power and unger is
- 18:00Speaker 4: to launch this impeachment inquiry over false allegations that have
- 18:04Speaker 4: no basis in reality.
- 18:06Speaker 2: It is certainly a center stage for House Republicans, as
- 18:08Speaker 2: as you noted, very critical negotiations about the president sational
- 18:11Speaker 2: security supplemental are ongoing, at least on the Senate side.
- 18:14Speaker 3: In SAMs, we appreciate it.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I mean, this is CNN putting pressure on the White
- 18:18Speaker 1: House saying I was.
- 18:19Speaker 6: I mean you heard him there. He's irritated. He's like, hey,
- 18:21Speaker 6: I was in this meeting.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I was in the White House meetings like this isn't
- 18:26Speaker 1: this isn't Republicans saying this. I heard the White House lie, right,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I heard the White House tell us something that is
- 18:35Speaker 1: not true, and so now you guys are trying to
- 18:39Speaker 1: change it here and say that it is different. Michael
- 18:44Speaker 1: Lee this morning also went on Fox Business Channel to
- 18:47Speaker 1: talk about the Biden family how they have quote lived
- 18:50Speaker 1: with no accountability for decades. Listen to what he had
- 18:54Speaker 1: to say to Maria bart Toromo.
- 18:55Speaker 2: He can't take Hunter being under pressure like this.
- 18:59Speaker 3: I don't know what it's going to do to him.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I mean, they're pulling at our heart strings. Should make
- 19:03Speaker 3: it look like, you know.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Joe Biden is so upset by the legal issues around
- 19:08Speaker 2: his son Maria.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Look, you know he should be because they've lived with
- 19:13Speaker 7: no accountability for decades. Remember the FBI had Hunter's laptop
- 19:18Speaker 7: verified it was true in twenty nineteen. And we're hearing
- 19:21Speaker 7: from the whistleblowers about all the tax charges they've skipped out.
- 19:24Speaker 7: No one will answer on how we never had to
- 19:27Speaker 7: register as a foreign lobbying agent, in addition to all
- 19:31Speaker 7: the other dozens of crimes that exist on that laptop
- 19:34Speaker 7: that they've been able to get away with for who
- 19:35Speaker 7: knows how long, and the fact that they might face
- 19:37Speaker 7: a shred of accountability is got to be earth shattering
- 19:41Speaker 7: for him.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yes, but Joe again, I mean you listen, It's right,
- 19:47Speaker 1: Biden family lived with no accountability for decades, and many
- 19:52Speaker 1: of the most egregious charges against him, some most egregious
- 19:58Speaker 1: charges again him, They've never been held accountable forre greg
- 20:02Speaker 1: Jared on the Biden case saying this about the evidence
- 20:05Speaker 1: that's now been laid out.
- 20:06Speaker 8: Joe Biden continues to double down on his lives and
- 20:10Speaker 8: nearly seventy percent of Americans don't believe that. They think
- 20:14Speaker 8: he either committed actions that are illegal or unethical. So
- 20:19Speaker 8: you know, Americans have wised up to Joe Biden's lives
- 20:22Speaker 8: and the allegations against him. You know, Sean, they'res serious
- 20:26Speaker 8: and credible. There's compelling evidence of impeachable conduct. He actively
- 20:30Speaker 8: aided in embedded corrupt schemes operated by his son, netting
- 20:35Speaker 8: tens of millions of dollars from foreign interest while selling access.
- 20:40Speaker 9: And promises of influence.
- 20:41Speaker 8: There's documents and testimonies that implicate.
- 20:45Speaker 5: The father as complicit.
- 20:47Speaker 8: And so, you know, exploiting a public office to enrich
- 20:51Speaker 8: your family, even if you don't profit yourself, that's both
- 20:55Speaker 8: a criminal offense, Sean, and it's an.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Impeachable one, and it's an impeachable one. Biden and the
- 21:03Speaker 1: First Lady quote are proud of their son. That's what
- 21:07Speaker 1: they keep going back to the White House has keep
- 21:10Speaker 1: putting this out there that they are quote proud of
- 21:13Speaker 1: their son and proud of his overcoming addiction. Which is
- 21:16Speaker 1: exactly the first thing that Hunter Biden started his press
- 21:18Speaker 1: conference with, which is, you know, they love me unconditionally,
- 21:22Speaker 1: They've supported me unconditionally, and they are here to help me.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Period.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Now listen to what they had to say. This is
- 21:29Speaker 1: the latest from Fox, and there was one thing that
- 21:32Speaker 1: was said by Jonathan Turley. He said, quote, I can't
- 21:34Speaker 1: understand how the dj allowed Hunter Biden's tax felonies to expire.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I can the DOJ was working for the president United
- 21:41Speaker 1: States of America, and they said, we need to drag
- 21:44Speaker 1: this out so the Statute of Limitations comes in and
- 21:47Speaker 1: that will fix all of this. Let me remind you
- 21:49Speaker 1: Jonathan Turley in his own words.
- 21:51Speaker 10: Jonathan Turley, writing in The New York Post, don't believe
- 21:53Speaker 10: democrats miss there's clear evidence for investigating President Biden. Jonathan
- 21:58Speaker 10: Turley is a constitutional law attorney, boxing contributor, and just
- 22:01Speaker 10: listen to one more piece of sound from Jim Jordan
- 22:03Speaker 10: from our interview last hour.
- 22:05Speaker 11: You got a politician who does certain things, those actions
- 22:08Speaker 11: benefit his family financially, and then there's an effort to
- 22:11Speaker 11: conceal it.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 11: I think the effort to cover it up and conceal
- 22:13Speaker 11: it was the way David Wiss and Leslie Wolf handled
- 22:15Speaker 11: this investigation.
- 22:16Speaker 3: But if you really go back to the.
- 22:18Speaker 11: Start, it's Hunter Biden's involvement with beers mine.
- 22:21Speaker 10: Jonathan Turley, as you've had a chance to digest everything
- 22:24Speaker 10: that happened yesterday. We wake up this morning, Leslie wolf
- 22:27Speaker 10: behind closed doors right now, what's going on?
- 22:29Speaker 12: Well, things are going poorly, I think for the Biden team.
- 22:32Speaker 12: Obviously this was not a great week. The impeachment inquiry
- 22:38Speaker 12: is indeed that it's an inquiry. It's an effort to
- 22:40Speaker 12: confirm these facts. The Democrats voted unanimously to stop further questions,
- 22:45Speaker 12: even though half of Americans, according to a recent.
- 22:48Speaker 9: Poll, support the inquiry.
- 22:50Speaker 12: Seventy percent of Americans believe the President has acted illegally
- 22:54Speaker 12: or unethically. So these questions do have to be answered now.
- 22:59Speaker 12: Whether they'll be answered by Wolfe is a very good question.
- 23:02Speaker 12: She may still be operating under instructions from the Department
- 23:05Speaker 12: of Justice as to what she can discuss about the
- 23:10Speaker 12: handling of this case. The glaring issue remains the fact
- 23:14Speaker 12: that the Department of Justice allowed these early felonies to expire.
- 23:19Speaker 12: The whistleblowers have said they had a deal on the
- 23:22Speaker 12: table which would have allowed that statute limitations to be extended.
- 23:27Speaker 12: For some inexplicable reason, weice allowed it to expire. And
- 23:32Speaker 12: I got to tell you, I pride myself on being
- 23:34Speaker 12: able to.
- 23:34Speaker 9: Share both sides of a legal issue.
- 23:37Speaker 12: I can't imagine the rationale for allowing felonies to expire
- 23:42Speaker 12: in the middle of an investigation, and maybe she can,
- 23:45Speaker 12: because I can't think of one fair answer.
- 23:49Speaker 13: Let's talk about Donald Trump now, because especially accountsel Jack
- 23:51Speaker 13: Smith is trying to fast track this to the US
- 23:53Speaker 13: Supreme Court.
- 23:54Speaker 6: I don't know how the supremes feel about it.
- 23:56Speaker 1: John youwan, let me hit pause there because I want
- 23:59Speaker 1: you to hear what he had to say. Because this
- 24:01Speaker 1: is also something that's changing and it deals with Donald Trump.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm going to deal with that in a moment. I'll
- 24:06Speaker 1: come back. We'll talk about that. But quote, I can't
- 24:08Speaker 1: understand how the dojail out Hunter Biden tax fil needs
- 24:11Speaker 1: to expire. There's also the other legal battle here with
- 24:15Speaker 1: Donald Trump going on. What's happening with Donald Trump's legal
- 24:20Speaker 1: issues is the Democrats are going all out to try
- 24:23Speaker 1: to put Donald Trump in jail before election day. Jonathan
- 24:28Speaker 1: Turley was asked about that as well on Fox and
- 24:31Speaker 1: I want you to hear what he had to say
- 24:33Speaker 1: about that.
- 24:34Speaker 13: Let's talk about Donald Trump now, because the special accounts
- 24:36Speaker 13: in Jack Smith is trying to fast track this to
- 24:38Speaker 13: the US Supreme Court. I don't know how the supremes
- 24:40Speaker 13: feel about it, John, you and his friend John Malcolm.
- 24:43Speaker 13: John U out of Stanford writes.
- 24:45Speaker 6: The DOJ's latest ploy to get.
- 24:47Speaker 13: Biden reelected Number three guys, get Trump in the Supreme courts.
- 24:53Speaker 13: I just want you to answer this in the following way.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Does the court.
- 24:57Speaker 13: Feel pressure, feel the pressure of time because there's a
- 25:01Speaker 13: request to get answers in from the Trump team before
- 25:03Speaker 13: December twentieth?
- 25:05Speaker 12: Do they feel that, sir, well, Bill, that's the operative question.
- 25:10Speaker 12: You know, what comes out of the filing of a
- 25:12Speaker 12: special Council is the sense of urgency that we need
- 25:15Speaker 12: to try Trump before the election. The Court might not
- 25:20Speaker 12: have the same sense of urgency. You know, even if
- 25:22Speaker 12: Trump was convicted, it wouldn't affect his eligibility to stand
- 25:27Speaker 12: for election or to serve as president. The Court normally
- 25:31Speaker 12: prefers to have Court of Appeals way in on these questions,
- 25:34Speaker 12: particularly novel questions like this one. So the Court could
- 25:38Speaker 12: ultimately say we want to hear from the DC Circuit.
- 25:41Speaker 12: We don't want to leap frog over the process. We'll
- 25:43Speaker 12: stick with regular order, and that may mean that you'll
- 25:47Speaker 12: have to move that trial back some I mean the
- 25:49Speaker 12: District Court has already stayed further proceedings on the District Court.
- 25:55Speaker 12: Smith may lose that March trial date, but he clearly
- 26:00Speaker 12: is doggedly fighting to try to get this thing done
- 26:04Speaker 12: before the election.
- 26:05Speaker 10: But why would he put his thumb on the scale
- 26:07Speaker 10: on that? To me, it makes him look like he
- 26:11Speaker 10: has a stake in trying to get this done before
- 26:13Speaker 10: the election, rather than just being the best prosecutor. He's
- 26:17Speaker 10: the one that's handling all of these things. Jason Willock
- 26:19Speaker 10: of The Washington Post wrote a really good piece yesterday
- 26:22Speaker 10: in which he explains, this is an unusual situation for
- 26:27Speaker 10: someone in the court system to be so concerned about
- 26:31Speaker 10: getting something done before an election.
- 26:34Speaker 12: Yeah, it is, in fact that DOJ policy has been
- 26:38Speaker 12: to avoid trials and filings before elections. This sort of
- 26:41Speaker 12: flips the script. And so you know, there's a number
- 26:46Speaker 12: of reasons why you might want to do this. One
- 26:48Speaker 12: is that you really do believe the voters should know
- 26:50Speaker 12: if they have someone who is.
- 26:52Speaker 9: Going to be convicted of a felony.
- 26:54Speaker 12: The other possibility is that he is aware that if
- 26:57Speaker 12: Trump wins, he could self pardon. He doesn't have to
- 27:00Speaker 12: wait for a trial, And so Smith might never see
- 27:03Speaker 12: a jury in the case. Also, the new Attorney General
- 27:06Speaker 12: could effectively scuttle the case.
- 27:09Speaker 9: So there may be an existential.
- 27:11Speaker 12: Thread viewed by the Special Council for his prosecution, that
- 27:15Speaker 12: we really need to sort of stick the landing before
- 27:19Speaker 12: this election.
- 27:21Speaker 10: Right Jonathan Turley, Well, we're underway, Leslie wolf Is.
- 27:24Speaker 6: Get on the pommel horse and stick the landing for us. Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Very interesting to hear his perspective on where this could
- 27:32Speaker 1: go with these indictments and attacks of Donald Trump.
- 27:36Speaker 6: Obviously they're going full speed ahead on this.
- 27:38Speaker 1: They're not going to stop, and you have these I
- 27:42Speaker 1: think that's kind of their last best effort.
- 27:45Speaker 6: To be honest with you.
- 27:47Speaker 1: If they want to stop Donald Trump and they want
- 27:50Speaker 1: to protect Joe Biden, the way you do it is
- 27:53Speaker 1: try to take Trump out. And that's been their plan
- 27:55Speaker 1: along and that's what they're going to keep focusing on.
- 27:59Speaker 1: They're not going to stop. They're going to focus on
- 28:02Speaker 1: this for as long as they have to.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Uh.
- 28:06Speaker 1: This is the holy grail for them. Uh, and this
- 28:10Speaker 1: is I think they're hell, Mary, it's there. We're gonna
- 28:14Speaker 1: do this no matter what. We're going to fight this, uh,
- 28:17Speaker 1: fight against Trump and we're going to try to take
- 28:19Speaker 1: him out so that there is not a chance for
- 28:21Speaker 1: anyone to.
- 28:22Speaker 6: Actually vote for him.
- 28:24Speaker 1: That that's part of this, is that there is a hey,
- 28:31Speaker 1: we we got to fight this, and we're gonna keep
- 28:33Speaker 1: fighting it, and we're gonna fight it, fight against Trump,
- 28:37Speaker 1: and we're going to take out Trump. And let's just
- 28:39Speaker 1: not give anybody a chance, right Like, let's let's just
- 28:42Speaker 1: not give anyone a chance to do anything. Let's not
- 28:48Speaker 1: give the voters a choice. Let's take him out and
- 28:52Speaker 1: and say you can't have the candidate that you choose.
- 28:55Speaker 1: There's also a a clap back here that's happening from
- 28:59Speaker 1: the deep state. There is zero doubt that if Donald
- 29:02Speaker 1: Trump is elected or re elected i should say President
- 29:05Speaker 1: United It's America, that he's going to go in and
- 29:08Speaker 1: completely start over the government in the deep state. And
- 29:14Speaker 1: if you are a part of the deep state, you
- 29:17Speaker 1: have to be terrified at that possibility because it means
- 29:20Speaker 1: that many of the people that are the most powerful
- 29:23Speaker 1: are going to lose their jobs. Don't forget Share this
