- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on the don giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like the million bucks things and its good. Start
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to mother. Please, I don't join Jo. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you're going. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got me? Come come on your thing? Uh huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I shall will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice? Come on dig me now? I wanted only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I'll do, man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: God is good. Hey today, I just want to get
- 2:15Speaker 1: right to it because this has really been pressing me.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I woke up and this was on my mind, and
- 2:21Speaker 1: I wanted to share it with you because I know
- 2:24Speaker 1: this for a fact. See I've lived this for a fact.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And you know the majority of things I talk about
- 2:35Speaker 1: in the morning before we get started with the regular show,
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's something that I've experienced. I can only tell you
- 2:42Speaker 1: what I know. And so I really really understood why
- 2:46Speaker 1: God has had my life go the way that is gone,
- 2:51Speaker 1: because if I didn't have all these tests in my life,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't have all these tests that I passed all
- 2:57Speaker 1: these tests that I failed. If I didn't have all
- 3:02Speaker 1: of those, the good and the bad, what could I
- 3:07Speaker 1: share with you in the morning? What could I tell
- 3:10Speaker 1: you about hanging? What could I tell you about failing
- 3:16Speaker 1: and then winning? What could I tell you about hanging
- 3:20Speaker 1: in now when all hope was gone? How could I
- 3:23Speaker 1: share that with you? Unless I've had those moments myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you. I don't care
- 3:33Speaker 1: what you're going through. Don't you dare dare give up?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Under no circumstances. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 3:47Speaker 1: It is the biggest trick that the enemy has is
- 3:53Speaker 1: making us think we ain't gonna make it, to water
- 3:59Speaker 1: down the illusion that there is a possibility that you
- 4:05Speaker 1: might still have a chance to get over. The biggest
- 4:09Speaker 1: trick he uses is when you make a mistake and
- 4:12Speaker 1: you fall. He gets you to start to thinking it's final,
- 4:16Speaker 1: that there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there
- 4:20Speaker 1: is no recovery. He just makes you think it's final.
- 4:24Speaker 1: He is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever
- 4:29Speaker 1: give up? I don't care what besets you, befalls you,
- 4:34Speaker 1: trips you up, What circumstantial situations may arise. Don't you
- 4:39Speaker 1: dare dare ever give up? Because listen to me, these
- 4:45Speaker 1: are tests that you are going through. And these tests,
- 4:50Speaker 1: whether you pass the test or appears that you failed
- 4:54Speaker 1: the test, the test accomplishes the mission if you're smart
- 4:58Speaker 1: about it. If you pass the test. Let's say you're
- 5:04Speaker 1: going through a situation and you get over and it
- 5:06Speaker 1: goes the way you want it to do, then what
- 5:09Speaker 1: you've learned is if you hang in there, there's a
- 5:14Speaker 1: light at the end of the tunnel. Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:19Speaker 1: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:23Speaker 1: way you want it and it goes there will opposite
- 5:26Speaker 1: and it turns out into a negative result. And in
- 5:29Speaker 1: response you were looking for is a no. That's not final.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it's over, that doesn't mean it's time
- 5:39Speaker 1: to turn back. It simply means that now you have
- 5:45Speaker 1: learned a valuable experience, you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You now know what not to do. You are now
- 5:56Speaker 1: because you know what not to do, another step closer
- 6:00Speaker 1: to getting it right. Listen to me, it has to
- 6:05Speaker 1: happen this way. You have to have the rain in
- 6:10Speaker 1: your life to get the flowers in your life. You
- 6:13Speaker 1: got to have the darkness in your life to appreciate
- 6:17Speaker 1: the sunshine in your life. You got to have woes
- 6:23Speaker 1: and worries to appreciate the joys. It is merely a test.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So when you get through failing, and you get through stumbling,
- 6:35Speaker 1: and you get through messing it up, all that's getting
- 6:40Speaker 1: you one step closer to getting it right. Oh, my
- 6:43Speaker 1: relationship ended. I'll never be able to find another person
- 6:47Speaker 1: like that. Not only will you not be able will
- 6:50Speaker 1: not only will you be able to find a person
- 6:53Speaker 1: like that, you can find a person that far better
- 6:58Speaker 1: than that if you don't give up. But see, sometimes
- 7:02Speaker 1: you got to go through the bad ones to get
- 7:05Speaker 1: to the good ones. Don't you? Dare? Dare ever give up?
- 7:10Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you if you lose
- 7:13Speaker 1: a love one. And Lord knows, I've lost some people
- 7:17Speaker 1: I've loved dearly with every inch in me. I've lost
- 7:24Speaker 1: my mother, my father, my brother, and my best friend.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I know people who have lost their children. Goodness, man,
- 7:35Speaker 1: I can't even imagine that, but they kept on going.
- 7:40Speaker 1: What you're giving up for? Oh? I got you? Miss them?
- 7:44Speaker 1: And I got you grieving, but I got news for you.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:50Speaker 1: for you because somebody else ain't still here. It was
- 7:53Speaker 1: their time. Now. I'm not trying to lessen to blow
- 7:56Speaker 1: for you, but I'm trying to get you up on
- 7:58Speaker 1: your feet so you can stop all this old woe
- 8:01Speaker 1: is me because the things is happening to you. You're
- 8:04Speaker 1: not the first person that's happened to Come on, now,
- 8:06Speaker 1: let's get a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You have got to move forward, if it's just in
- 8:13Speaker 1: memory of those people. I was on one of the
- 8:16Speaker 1: commercial breaks the other day and somebody asked me something
- 8:20Speaker 1: and I forgot the question, but my answer was, I
- 8:23Speaker 1: always wanted my mother and father to be proud of me,
- 8:27Speaker 1: and in that absence and their demise, I'm hoping, just
- 8:32Speaker 1: somehow man that they watching me, that they see their boy,
- 8:36Speaker 1: that I'm down here, that I'm doing better, that I'm
- 8:39Speaker 1: making something about myself, that I'm loving my wife, that
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm taking care of my kids. Just at my old
- 8:46Speaker 1: man to see that about me. You know, I want
- 8:49Speaker 1: my mother to see I'm trying to give my life
- 8:51Speaker 1: together over here, you know, saying I'm trying to be
- 8:54Speaker 1: a better person. My mom was a Sunday school teacher
- 8:57Speaker 1: for forty years. She'd been praying for me for a
- 8:59Speaker 1: long time. I just hope, man, and that's all I'm doing.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It's just hoping that they see me so they ain't
- 9:06Speaker 1: be proud of me. See you, you you, you you.
- 9:10Speaker 1: You got to understand that when you make these mistakes,
- 9:15Speaker 1: that when you fall and stumble and you get it
- 9:17Speaker 1: all so wrong, it ain't over for you. Don't you
- 9:21Speaker 1: dare dare dare ever? Give up? Don't stop thinking, man,
- 9:25Speaker 1: because it ain't happening just the way you wanted to
- 9:28Speaker 1: that it ain't meant to be devil. He got so
- 9:30Speaker 1: many tricks to deceive you. You know why you're being
- 9:34Speaker 1: tested right now, because there is no testimony without the test.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You got to go through something. It's all good man
- 9:44Speaker 1: telling you. I just wanted to share that with you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Don't you give up out there. I don't care what's happening.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Don't don't, don't don't get deceived. The victory's coming, but
- 9:53Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get it if you quit. Hang on, y'all,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, this is it to Steve
- 10:03Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Us here again. Man, ain't God good?
- 10:06Speaker 1: I don't know if you've been thinking about it, but Man,
- 10:08Speaker 1: when he waked me up, I'm just glad about it.
- 10:11Speaker 1: However did today go, I'm just glad I'm here for
- 10:16Speaker 1: it to watch it go. Now. With that said, though,
- 10:19Speaker 1: I do expect great things to happen today, even if
- 10:23Speaker 1: they come at me in the form of a delay.
- 10:26Speaker 1: See denial, delayed does not mean deny. It just ain't
- 10:31Speaker 1: God's timing. So I've even learned how to live my
- 10:34Speaker 1: life like that. Man. I wish I knew this a
- 10:36Speaker 1: long time ago. I would have saved myself a lot
- 10:38Speaker 1: of headache and wary man, but this show is good.
- 10:41Speaker 1: To live your life understanding in God's timing and God's
- 10:45Speaker 1: will save yourself a lot of pain. Man, who he's
- 10:48Speaker 1: hooking me up? Ladies and gentlemen, Sherley Strawberry callin for
- 10:51Speaker 1: real the Mouth of the South, Mississippi Monica, which you
- 10:55Speaker 1: all don't get to hell, but you don't know why
- 10:58Speaker 1: we call her the Mouth of the South, the old
- 11:00Speaker 1: Lord as we gave her. Mike, who you'd understand, Junior
- 11:04Speaker 1: better known as kills faiths the legend that is nephew
- 11:07Speaker 1: Timmy and yours truly, junior. What's on your mind? I
- 11:11Speaker 1: can't tell you what. Let me ask you something. You know, man,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you you know audiences better than anybody. You know how
- 11:17Speaker 1: to operate. You can tell ye you know, some people know,
- 11:20Speaker 1: they don't. Some people just don't know when you up
- 11:22Speaker 1: on that stage, when you back when it's going bad, like,
- 11:26Speaker 1: what's the signs when it's gonna go bad? Like with
- 11:29Speaker 1: black people and white people are going back? Well, the
- 11:32Speaker 1: first dead giveaway in silence. That's that's a shocking realization,
- 11:41Speaker 1: seeing as how they's supposed to be none. Yeah, because
- 11:45Speaker 1: either you talking or they laughing. That's the only exchange
- 11:50Speaker 1: we are into. Here's the next mistake. If you ask
- 11:54Speaker 1: the comedian ask a question of the audience and the
- 12:00Speaker 1: response is all smart, alec Ash remarks, that's another sign
- 12:06Speaker 1: that it's not going right. Yeah all man, So how
- 12:10Speaker 1: y'all doing tonight? No, how the hell are you doing?
- 12:16Speaker 1: That's not That's why I always tell young comedians, right
- 12:21Speaker 1: your set, stay out that crowd, because you go out
- 12:24Speaker 1: in that crowd could be somebody out there that's better
- 12:27Speaker 1: at this than you. Let me get this right, just
- 12:32Speaker 1: so I'm clear. Booing is not a good thing. Right,
- 12:36Speaker 1: it's not right. I don't care what no comedians tell you.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Booing is not a good thing at any time. In
- 12:47Speaker 1: case you don't know what booing is. Booing is the
- 12:51Speaker 1: ultimate form of dissatisfaction and find person. That's the ultimate
- 12:59Speaker 1: when a person. I have spent my money, let me
- 13:02Speaker 1: show you how I feel about this money out to
- 13:05Speaker 1: spend and return. I'm getting all this money. Boom. When
- 13:11Speaker 1: the audience is booing, they can't hear nothing. What about
- 13:15Speaker 1: get off the stage. That's an invite. That's an invite
- 13:23Speaker 1: for you to step out of our life and stop
- 13:26Speaker 1: harmiting us the damn stage and thank you for breaking
- 13:37Speaker 1: that down. Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, nephew,
- 13:40Speaker 1: tell me to run that brank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 13:47Speaker 1: time to start your morning off with the nephew and
- 13:49Speaker 1: run that prank back. What you got for us enough?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Surely as time that we catch you uber. Everybody does
- 13:55Speaker 1: that uber lift, you know, everybody catching it, but but
- 13:59Speaker 1: look different when you catch your uber hers uber Hers.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You understand, scary Hers. Okay, as long as you get
- 14:11Speaker 1: where you need to go, that's all that shit matter.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Uber Hers cat Dog. If you would hello, Hello, I'm
- 14:22Speaker 1: trying to read Sean. Please yeah, it means up. Hey Sean,
- 14:25Speaker 1: how are you doing this? My name is Brian. Um.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I got you on schedule. Um. You you ordered the
- 14:30Speaker 1: uber for tomorrow morning. I'm I think you're okay? You are?
- 14:35Speaker 1: You are your schedule go to the airport? Correct? Absolutely? Yeah? Okay,
- 14:40Speaker 1: all right, and I want to make sure you you

- 15:03Speaker 1: that's it, you got it. Everything's on point, okay, all right,

- 15:09Speaker 1: You order the suv, I'll be there tomorrow. Um, I'll
- 15:14Speaker 1: be there probably a little bit before seven am. You know,
- 15:16Speaker 1: when you guys order uber way in advance, you know,
- 15:19Speaker 1: we try to get there almost like a car service
- 15:21Speaker 1: and make sure we get you where you gotta go.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And I know the traff is gonna be a little crazy,
- 15:25Speaker 1: so um, you know I'll be there on time. I'll
- 15:27Speaker 1: be downstairs waiting on you. All right, I'd appreciate it.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Now listen, I'm I'm I'm an suv. But it's a
- 15:35Speaker 1: kind of a little different. So that's why I kind
- 15:37Speaker 1: of the reason for the call. I wanted to kind
- 15:39Speaker 1: of give your heads up that I am an suv.
- 15:43Speaker 1: So I just want you to look for the black
- 15:46Speaker 1: Hurst that'll be outside Hers. Yeah, I'll be in a
- 15:51Speaker 1: black Hurst tomorrow morning at seven am. Uh okay, okay,
- 15:58Speaker 1: the sub or hers. No, No, it's a hurch. It's
- 16:01Speaker 1: a hurch. Actually, what's happening is is I have another
- 16:04Speaker 1: drop off at the airport as well. You know there's
- 16:08Speaker 1: a I mean, it's it's it won't affect you at all.
- 16:10Speaker 1: There'll there'll be a body in the back, but that
- 16:12Speaker 1: has to we're trying to get that to the airport too.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But you know, like I said, and a matter of fact,
- 16:17Speaker 1: it is like body waiting the hella man. No, no,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I ain't try riding the body. Well, there's a I mean,
- 16:25Speaker 1: there'll be a body. But actually it's just causing you less.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So you don't have to man,
- 16:29Speaker 1: well I'm supposed to lay down and lift the So
- 16:32Speaker 1: what you're talking about, Man, dude, ain't ride with the body?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Hang on, man, listen, you wanted to uv. I'm not
- 16:41Speaker 1: ride with the body. Dude. You tripping? Cancel this trip?
- 16:45Speaker 1: I get another over. I'm not riding with a body, dude. Okay,
- 16:48Speaker 1: if you cancel, that's gonna cause you fifty dollars. Fifty dollars, man, Yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: like you just downloaded the here's a deal. I know
- 16:58Speaker 1: for a fact. When you cancel over five hours, I'm canceling,
- 17:02Speaker 1: that's gonna be five hours. I'm gonna be no fifty dollars.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's gonna be fifty dollars, sir. It's a different one.
- 17:07Speaker 1: You have my man, you can pay me a thousand dollars.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I'm not riding with them. You feel me the understanding.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You understand you now, But do you want to get
- 17:15Speaker 1: to the airport or not? Look, why don't you lay
- 17:17Speaker 1: down next to the body and you drive yourself there
- 17:20Speaker 1: with the flighty like in the past, to just see
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. Tell me what the problem is.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean, obviously you're used to driving around with bodies
- 17:28Speaker 1: and that's not my thing. You know what I'm saying.
- 17:30Speaker 1: What's the problem. I mean, you're gonna be in the
- 17:32Speaker 1: front of the hurts. You're not gonna be in the back.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We'll put my bodies in the back with your luggage
- 17:36Speaker 1: in the back. I mean, that'll be fine, right, you're
- 17:38Speaker 1: my man. You're tripping, man, this is crazy. You're calling
- 17:41Speaker 1: wrong with this crazy book. Dude. I'm not doing none
- 17:45Speaker 1: of that. What part of that? Don't you understand. I'm
- 17:48Speaker 1: going to get you there on time, sir, but it's
- 17:50Speaker 1: going to be in a hurt that's all the difference is. Man,
- 17:54Speaker 1: you'll be riding the hurt. Well, I'm supposed to be
- 17:56Speaker 1: laid out. And you understand right now you got me up.
- 18:00Speaker 1: What kind of phone call is this? Well? I mean,
- 18:02Speaker 1: when you what's what's the problem. Obviously you're used to
- 18:05Speaker 1: rolling with with dead bodies and hearses and all that.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Since when it over start rolling with hearses to pick
- 18:12Speaker 1: up regular love more, because to get them from place
- 18:15Speaker 1: to place. This is some crazy I want you to
- 18:18Speaker 1: think when when did you think that it would just
- 18:22Speaker 1: be cool or as a regular picking up a body
- 18:25Speaker 1: and just driving around in the street. I don't know, man,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I got two jobs, you know
- 18:30Speaker 1: what I'm saying, I do, you know, And I also,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you know, work for a mortuary to you know what
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm saying. So you know, but my vehicle is is
- 18:38Speaker 1: certified and approved it so I'm able to use it
- 18:42Speaker 1: as an SUV. So you you calling is and you
- 18:45Speaker 1: gave it ride to love More and they don't have
- 18:48Speaker 1: no reaction, no reaction to riding around with them embodying
- 18:54Speaker 1: the back well you know, uh, sometimes there's a people
- 18:57Speaker 1: acting a little, you know, a little it's a little
- 18:59Speaker 1: different for them. I get at it, you know. But
- 19:01Speaker 1: like I said, the only reason why I'm calling you
- 19:03Speaker 1: obviously you don't get that because you're trying to hit
- 19:06Speaker 1: me with a fifty dollars in charge that I'm not
- 19:09Speaker 1: I'm not going for and you're trying to get me
- 19:12Speaker 1: to ride with him that body. Dude, I'm not doing that.
- 19:16Speaker 1: So I'll tell you what, Broun. I'm gonna tell you

- 21:11Speaker 1: of course, plus in entertainment news. Rihanna has nothing to hide, baby,
- 21:16Speaker 1: nothing and not that we care. But Kanye was right.
- 21:20Speaker 1: There could be another Kim Kardashian and Ray j a
- 21:23Speaker 1: sex tape out there. We'll talk about these stories at
- 21:25Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 1: stop it, Kanye, leave her alone. She has moved on.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Right now, it is time for As the Cello with
- 21:40Speaker 1: the Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey. This one's from Kim
- 21:43Speaker 1: and Virginia. Kim writes, I'm dating a man that is
- 21:46Speaker 1: very spiritual and he loves to pray before we have sex,
- 21:52Speaker 1: which is an abomination. He yells for the Lord during
- 21:56Speaker 1: sex and it ruins my mood. How do I make
- 21:59Speaker 1: it stop? You need to leave him? Yes, yeah, this
- 22:04Speaker 1: is weird and just you know, you know, you know,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I've called him, you know at a certain point in it,
- 22:14Speaker 1: but it was big about over there. Uh and uh.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Other than that, you know that that really ain't no, No,
- 22:25Speaker 1: you need you need to what? No, you need to
- 22:29Speaker 1: leave him? Y'all ain't even married. Oh the gods, what
- 22:35Speaker 1: you're doing? This ain't even first of all? What what's
- 22:39Speaker 1: the prayer? You know? If he all that spiritual, he
- 22:42Speaker 1: would consider it a sin. Yeah you know. Now, I
- 22:45Speaker 1: ain't saying you know you can't or you shouldn't. I
- 22:47Speaker 1: you can do what you want to do. I ain't
- 22:49Speaker 1: making a judgment call un done all of it. But
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm just saying, now, what's the prayer? Fall Father? Forgive
- 22:55Speaker 1: me for I'm about to do wrong? But I'm gonna
- 22:57Speaker 1: go ahead anyhow. Then let me do the best. Stop
- 23:00Speaker 1: caring while I mean, if I'm gonna do wrong, let
- 23:02Speaker 1: me do the best in wrong? Or what is the prower?
- 23:06Speaker 1: You need to leave him? Go ahead sight in my wrongness?
- 23:09Speaker 1: All right? MICHAELA and Detroit says, My husband and I
- 23:13Speaker 1: fuss and fight over dumb stuff all the time, and
- 23:16Speaker 1: it's getting on my nerves. Nothing affects him and he
- 23:19Speaker 1: can sleep like a baby after we've cursed each other
- 23:22Speaker 1: out for hours does this mean there's no emotional connection
- 23:26Speaker 1: for him, No, no, no, no, It just means that
- 23:29Speaker 1: men have the ability to compartmentalize. We are gotting. We
- 23:35Speaker 1: didn't cuss. I got to go to sleep because I
- 23:38Speaker 1: got to go work to him all So now let
- 23:40Speaker 1: me go on and get some sleep. Now, you, on
- 23:43Speaker 1: the other hand, can't hardly sleep. And when you do
- 23:46Speaker 1: go to sleep, you're gonna wake up just as mad
- 23:49Speaker 1: as you was last night. He ain't gonna he ain't
- 23:51Speaker 1: gonna remember nothing, body, because men have the ability to compartmentalize.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Because we've got to move on now. I would love
- 24:01Speaker 1: to tell you to develop that, but you're not develop
- 24:04Speaker 1: the ability to part compartmentalize. Shut your ass up, sick
- 24:08Speaker 1: of this man. You don't know when you talk about
- 24:10Speaker 1: funky thing sitting up in here, blanket and blank and
- 24:13Speaker 1: blank blank blank. Huh, I like fat, he got his
- 24:26Speaker 1: mouth wider. Good night. That's too crazy, all right, all right,
- 24:35Speaker 1: So you're telling her she needs to get more like
- 24:38Speaker 1: him in that instance, it's not not can help you
- 24:41Speaker 1: with because men compartmentalize and women don't a lot of times,
- 24:46Speaker 1: and so that's the difference in us. You know, we
- 24:49Speaker 1: wake up, can be mad. Yeah, So that's the difference
- 24:52Speaker 1: in men and women. That's nothing to change. You can't
- 24:55Speaker 1: pray that away, all right. Moving on to Johnny and Laurel.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Johnny says, I'm a thirty three year old female boxer
- 25:05Speaker 1: and I'm dating a guy that is a trainer at
- 25:07Speaker 1: the boxing gym. He loves to joke and say he
- 25:11Speaker 1: can beat me if he had to. So I don't
- 25:13Speaker 1: get the big head after I win a match. Is
- 25:16Speaker 1: this a sign of his insecurity? Is it a sign
- 25:19Speaker 1: of his insecurity? Or should I take it as a joke. Well,
- 25:22Speaker 1: we can find out. Knock his ass out. So all
- 25:25Speaker 1: you got to do a cock backam busting dad in this, John,
- 25:29Speaker 1: Let's see where you know, all is talking about what
- 25:31Speaker 1: you can do and all this here, let's see you know.
- 25:34Speaker 1: But now he ain't posted hit you back, so you
- 25:37Speaker 1: know you're probably gonna win. So but why is that
- 25:39Speaker 1: bothering you? Don't if someone, if a man tells you, oh,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I could beat you, don't get the big head bringing
- 25:48Speaker 1: that up. But see, well here's a problem, dude, I
- 25:53Speaker 1: can beat you, okay, Anne, I mean, bro, why why
- 25:59Speaker 1: is the dude saying that you know you're dating her,
- 26:01Speaker 1: But you're a trainer. But why are you saying it
- 26:03Speaker 1: though I could beat you? Are you sure? Are you
- 26:08Speaker 1: just saying that so you could just keep in a
- 26:10Speaker 1: suppressed position. I don't understand. It just sounds like a
- 26:14Speaker 1: little bit of insecurity to me. You know, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 1: I mean absolutely, you know, but you know you got
- 26:22Speaker 1: no way of proving it. Y'all. Don't need the box,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you know. But I know a lot of women can
- 26:28Speaker 1: whip a lot of me. And in that ring though,
- 26:30Speaker 1: I've seen it, Yeah, I've seen it. I've seen it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I know something m I watch mmma, there's some girls.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I cannot get in that ring with it because I'm
- 26:42Speaker 1: as soon as I get her in the head like,
- 26:43Speaker 1: because she's been to beat the hell out of me,
- 26:45Speaker 1: I can't have this on TV or I got to
- 26:49Speaker 1: get up in that cage as soon as that in
- 26:51Speaker 1: the rad corner and just faint, just faint. Han't cast
- 26:54Speaker 1: me out, you know, tell him I had a seizure. Yeah,
- 26:56Speaker 1: Steve punk Ass tried to get out. Yeah, she was gonna.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That's a scary situation though for him to keep saying that,
- 27:06Speaker 1: I don't I don't like that, all right, Moving on,
- 27:09Speaker 1: to Serena in Kansas City. Serena says, I walked in
- 27:12Speaker 1: on my husband taking a bath in my tub in
- 27:15Speaker 1: the dark while talking on the phone. Say that again, okay?
- 27:22Speaker 1: She said. Serena is her name. She says that she
- 27:25Speaker 1: walked in on her husband taking a bath in the tub,
- 27:28Speaker 1: in her tub in the dark, while he was talking
- 27:31Speaker 1: on the phone. She said, it scared the mess out
- 27:35Speaker 1: of me. He said he was talking to He said
- 27:40Speaker 1: he was talking to his mom. I know you're trying
- 27:46Speaker 1: to think quick, but that you hit the wrong one player, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And she's she's asking, is she to believe he was
- 27:54Speaker 1: on the phone with his mom, naked in the dark
- 27:57Speaker 1: taking a bubble bath? First of all, do you have
- 28:02Speaker 1: other concerns? Your man? Just in the dog taking a
- 28:07Speaker 1: bubble bath just right down? It screams something's wrong. It
- 28:14Speaker 1: just it reeks with you something wrong. That's not what
- 28:19Speaker 1: we do. We don't take bubble baths in the dog.
- 28:22Speaker 1: We just don't. Period. Now you know, I got soaking
- 28:26Speaker 1: you soil, you've been working out, you got some epps
- 28:28Speaker 1: and salt. The bubble bath in the dog and talking
- 28:32Speaker 1: on the phone. See more. If you go soak in
- 28:36Speaker 1: the bath tub because because you're hurting or something. You were,
- 28:39Speaker 1: you were, you know, that's a quiet time for you.
- 28:42Speaker 1: They're talking on the phone with them bubbles. Someone else
- 28:47Speaker 1: was going on in that damn water to keep that
- 28:51Speaker 1: suge as suggy as it was. You know how you
- 28:55Speaker 1: switch your hand around in the water, make more bubbles.
- 28:58Speaker 1: All right, Okay, he's talking to that's the lie Iver
- 29:04Speaker 1: talked to my MoMA nicked dry always too much. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 1: definitely hold on, mmm, let me clothes over. At the

- 29:53Speaker 1: Vogue Magazine that she won't be toning it down for
- 29:56Speaker 1: the rest of her pregnancy. She says. When I found
- 29:58Speaker 1: out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, there's no

- 31:09Speaker 1: How many months is she? How much more it is
- 31:11Speaker 1: we got? I don't even know. I don't know. I
- 31:13Speaker 1: don't even know, because when we found out she was
- 31:16Speaker 1: she was quite a way along, So yeah, I have
- 31:20Speaker 1: no idea. It looks like yeah, it looks like it's
- 31:24Speaker 1: coming up soon though. No, she's killing it though, Man,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I ain't she killing it? Yes? She is all right.
- 31:31Speaker 1: And other entertainment news, Kanye back in the news. Kanye
- 31:35Speaker 1: was right. He's saying there could be a second sex

- 31:42Speaker 1: Kardashian series on Hulu, Kim reacts to the rumors that
- 31:45Speaker 1: there is a second tape of her and ray Ja.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Kim says, over my dead body, as this happening again,
- 31:50Speaker 1: I know the right attorneys this time, and I'm not
- 31:53Speaker 1: going to let this happen to me again. I have
- 31:55Speaker 1: all the time, all the money, and all of the
- 31:58Speaker 1: resources resources to burn them all to the effing ground.
- 32:04Speaker 1: So I'm trying to tell you, well, he's the one
- 32:09Speaker 1: trying that. He tried to help her get the sex tape. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: he he tried to help her with that. Yeah. Hey,
- 32:17Speaker 1: let me tell you something, ray J better take his
- 32:20Speaker 1: little money somewhere and go sit down. Well, well, listen
- 32:23Speaker 1: to this, though, Steve. According to Hollywood, Unrocked, Unlocked, Unrocked, unlocked.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Kanye claimed he flew to Los Angeles to pick up
- 32:31Speaker 1: the tape and deliver it to Kim. He said, I
- 32:33Speaker 1: went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I met this man at the airport, then got on
- 32:39Speaker 1: a red eye, came back and delivered it to her
- 32:42Speaker 1: at eight a m. In the morning. But that's where
- 32:46Speaker 1: he's where we're away. I don't know a lot about technology,
- 32:53Speaker 1: but you think on a computer that that's the only copy,
- 32:57Speaker 1: right that copy get on that computer. I don't know,
- 33:04Speaker 1: but I know she wants to shut that down for
- 33:07Speaker 1: her yet. But you know, look, man, I don't I
- 33:09Speaker 1: don't blame her. Look, man, and let's see. Let's see
- 33:13Speaker 1: from that from the very beginning. Note, you know, I
- 33:16Speaker 1: don't like these punk ass dudes out here. You know,
- 33:19Speaker 1: if you do something with a woman, man, then it's done.
- 33:22Speaker 1: You know what you you know, trying to brag show
- 33:24Speaker 1: tapes and all this hire and man, So what go
- 33:27Speaker 1: sit your little weak ass down somewhere. You ain't did nothing,
- 33:31Speaker 1: all right, We got to move on. Introduce missan lady
- 33:35Speaker 1: and gentleman. Miss and trip. Okay, thank you, and good
- 33:39Speaker 1: morning everybody. This is a trip for the news. A
- 33:41Speaker 1: suspect in tuesday's frightening smoke bomb a gun attack on
- 33:44Speaker 1: the New York City subway car, was arrested in Lower
- 33:47Speaker 1: Manhattan yesterday without incident, after cops in a local presincrecy,
- 33:50Speaker 1: calls from people in the neighborhood, and even a call
- 33:53Speaker 1: from the guy himself. Ten people was shot, thirteen others injured,
- 33:56Speaker 1: but luckily none of the victims has died. Authorities say.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Frank James, who has a long arrest record and relationships
- 34:02Speaker 1: in Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York City,
- 34:06Speaker 1: posted videos on YouTube where he called himself profit of
- 34:10Speaker 1: Truth eighty eight and called about the country being racist
- 34:13Speaker 1: and about New York City's Mayor Eric Adams's stated goal
- 34:16Speaker 1: of bringing down subway crime. I told you so about
- 34:20Speaker 1: New York and it's only going to get worse. He
- 34:22Speaker 1: can't stop timing no sub ways. He may slow it down,
- 34:25Speaker 1: but he ain't stop. I wanted to kill people. I
- 34:29Speaker 1: wanted to watch people that right in front of my face,
- 34:32Speaker 1: meeting me. But I thought about the fact that, hey man,
- 34:34Speaker 1: I don't want to go prison. Well he may not
- 34:37Speaker 1: want to go, but Frank James is expected to be
- 34:39Speaker 1: a rained later on this morning on a serious charge
- 34:42Speaker 1: of committing a violent or terrorist act on a public
- 34:44Speaker 1: transit on public transit, which after conviction calls for a
- 34:47Speaker 1: sentence of up to life in prison. Actor Kuba Gooden
- 34:51Speaker 1: Junior was in the Manhattan courtroom yesterday admitting that he
- 34:54Speaker 1: kissed a waitress in a nightclub in the mouth without
- 34:57Speaker 1: her consent back in twenty eighteen. Yes she took him
- 35:00Speaker 1: the court. Fifty seven year old Jerry McGuire actor agreed
- 35:02Speaker 1: to a plea deal which does not call for any
- 35:05Speaker 1: jail time. Two black coaches have joined Brian Flores's lawsuit
- 35:09Speaker 1: against the National Football League Still. Steve Wilkes says he
- 35:12Speaker 1: was discriminated against by the Arizona Cardinals in twenty eighteen
- 35:15Speaker 1: when he was hired as a bridge coach. He says
- 35:17Speaker 1: for one season. He says he was given no meaningful
- 35:19Speaker 1: chance to succeed and replaced by the current coach, Cliff Kingsbury,
- 35:23Speaker 1: a white man from college ranks with no NFL experience.
- 35:26Speaker 1: And Ray Horton says his twenty sixteen interview with the
- 35:29Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans was humiliating because the man who got the
- 35:32Speaker 1: job Mike mcillary said later in a podcast that he'd
- 35:35Speaker 1: already been given the job before anybody was interviewed. Remember
- 35:39Speaker 1: Ambert Geiber Geiger, that's the white former Dallas police officer
- 35:42Speaker 1: who shot an innocent black man named Botham Jean to death,
- 35:46Speaker 1: claiming that she mistakenly entered his apartment instead of her own.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And will Geiger has been denied her request for an
- 35:52Speaker 1: appeal for the third time. Staveley comedian Gilbert Gottfried has
- 35:56Speaker 1: died after a long illness. And if you don't recognize
- 35:58Speaker 1: the name, Bet, you canize the voice to night. We
- 36:01Speaker 1: are a monster in the entertainment industry here they used
- 36:06Speaker 1: him a lot. This publicist of his says that Godfrey
- 36:08Speaker 1: Dodd from muscular dystrophe, a form of it. He was
- 36:11Speaker 1: sixty seven years old. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening show everybody, as promise, we got
- 36:19Speaker 1: a very very special guest on this morning. She's the
- 36:22Speaker 1: former Democratic leader in the Georgia House of Representatives. She's
- 36:26Speaker 1: an attorney, she's a voting right activist, she's an author,
- 36:30Speaker 1: but most importantly she's now our Democratic candidate for governor
- 36:36Speaker 1: in Georgia. Listen to me. She is running as a
- 36:40Speaker 1: Democratic candidate for governor in Georgia, and she's joining us
- 36:45Speaker 1: to share insights on her candidacy. Excuse me on her candidacy.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So let's get to it. Please, Welcome to the show leader,
- 36:53Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams. Yes, welcome back. Thank you, Thank you for
- 37:00Speaker 1: having me well, thank you for coming. You know, look
- 37:02Speaker 1: after your groundbreaking twenty eighteen campaign for governor, you just
- 37:07Speaker 1: didn't quit. You got right back to work for the
- 37:10Speaker 1: people of Georgia and you entered the governor's race again.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Now we're behind you one hundred percent. How do you
- 37:17Speaker 1: plan to help Georgians thrive once you are elected? First
- 37:21Speaker 1: of all, thank you so much for having me back.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I did spen in the last four years not just
- 37:25Speaker 1: thinking about what I wanted to do, but working on it.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I launched three organizations, Parasites focus on democracy and protecting
- 37:33Speaker 1: our right to vote, their accounts to use civic engagements
- 37:38Speaker 1: to make certain that people were getting the resources they
- 37:40Speaker 1: deserve from the Census and the Southern Economic Advancement Project,
- 37:43Speaker 1: and we use that to do a lot of work
- 37:45Speaker 1: helping people to vaccines, making sure that during the pandemic
- 37:48Speaker 1: community's got the resources they needed. But the reality is
- 37:51Speaker 1: that's the governor's job. It's the work of a governor
- 37:54Speaker 1: to serve people. And when I become the next governor,
- 37:57Speaker 1: my first business is going to be to banned Medicaid
- 38:00Speaker 1: in Georgia. That's going to put money in people's pockets
- 38:04Speaker 1: and save lives. Medicaid expansion won't give health insurance the
- 38:07Speaker 1: half a million people in Georgia. It will bring three
- 38:11Speaker 1: point five billion dollars into the state every year. It
- 38:15Speaker 1: will create sixty four thousand jobs. So every time you
- 38:19Speaker 1: hear about a jobs program or a new factory coming,
- 38:22Speaker 1: imagine if we could create sixty four thousand jobs by
- 38:26Speaker 1: bringing our own money back. Because that's what Medicaid expansion does.
- 38:29Speaker 1: It makes certain that childless adults as well as folks
- 38:33Speaker 1: who make just a little two lifts two little money
- 38:37Speaker 1: to qualify for the Affordable Care Act. It gives them
- 38:39Speaker 1: all health insurance and that left everybody. It saves hospitals,
- 38:44Speaker 1: it saves lives, and it creates jobs. And I believe
- 38:47Speaker 1: in this. I actually during my time, during the last
- 38:50Speaker 1: four years, I've paid off the medical debt of sixty
- 38:53Speaker 1: eight thousand Georges because I know what it means when
- 38:56Speaker 1: there is healthcare costs, it stops you from doing what
- 38:59Speaker 1: you need, you from getting the help you need, and
- 39:01Speaker 1: it stops you from creating your opportunity for yourself and
- 39:04Speaker 1: your family. I'm going to stoke us on education and
- 39:08Speaker 1: I'm going to make certain that across the state we
- 39:10Speaker 1: don't have Atlanta and everywhere else. I'm focusing on making
- 39:13Speaker 1: sure we have one Georgia. That's my mission and that's
- 39:16Speaker 1: why i want to show see that, not that I
- 39:19Speaker 1: wasn't aware. That's really eye opening to me about the
- 39:22Speaker 1: medical cost and putting that money back into people's pockets
- 39:25Speaker 1: and creating jobs. Oh, we got a lot more to
- 39:28Speaker 1: learn this morning from our candidate, Stay Sabrans, So stay
- 39:31Speaker 1: with us. We'll be right back. Hang on with us
- 39:33Speaker 1: one second, miss Abens, we'll be right back Steve Harvey
- 39:36Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening, show a light everybody.
- 39:43Speaker 1: We're back in our special guests this morning is our
- 39:45Speaker 1: Democratic leader in the Georgia House, who representative still for us.
- 39:49Speaker 1: She is, and more importantly, she's now our Democratic candidate
- 39:53Speaker 1: for governor in Georgia, and she's joining us this morning
- 39:56Speaker 1: sharing her insights on her candidacy candidacy wh I cannot
- 40:00Speaker 1: say that, missus Abels, I'm saying. I try not to
- 40:06Speaker 1: use words with folk syllables. I just can't keep up
- 40:10Speaker 1: that long. I'm little. We're just here to talk about
- 40:12Speaker 1: her campaign and I could do. And this morning, you've
- 40:17Speaker 1: been brilliant to us here in Georgia. You've inspired us
- 40:20Speaker 1: here in Georgia. You led the voting registration causes here
- 40:25Speaker 1: and really made some changes. So it's time for us
- 40:28Speaker 1: to pay all of this back. Y'all listen to me.
- 40:31Speaker 1: This woman is a hard worker, she's dedicated and above
- 40:35Speaker 1: all else, she's super qualified and she's got the right
- 40:37Speaker 1: ideas for Georgia. And one of the things I wanted
- 40:40Speaker 1: to talk to you about was the was the One
- 40:42Speaker 1: Georgia tour that you created. Tell us about the One
- 40:45Speaker 1: Georgia Tour and the concerns that Georgian shared with you
- 40:49Speaker 1: while you were out there on that tour. We want
- 40:52Speaker 1: the One Georgia Tour back in March to start going
- 40:55Speaker 1: across the states talking to folks about what they need.
- 40:59Speaker 1: When I was in export Georgia, we talked about Medicaid expansion,
- 41:02Speaker 1: and that was a nurse whose aunt died because the
- 41:06Speaker 1: hospital that could have saved her life was shut down
- 41:08Speaker 1: by Brian Kemp during this pandemic. And when I say
- 41:12Speaker 1: by Brian Kemp, he didn't physically go down and shut
- 41:14Speaker 1: down the hospital, but he refused to expand Medicaid and
- 41:16Speaker 1: accept the money that could have kept that hospital open,
- 41:19Speaker 1: could have saved those jobs, could have saved her life.
- 41:22Speaker 1: When I went to Warner Robins, Georgia, I talked about
- 41:25Speaker 1: what we need to do for our veterans. Our veterans
- 41:28Speaker 1: need help when they come home. We've got too many
- 41:30Speaker 1: veterans who are living under bridges instead of lizbing under roof.
- 41:34Speaker 1: We have too many veterans who cannot get jobs. And
- 41:37Speaker 1: this is a state that should CONSENTI by those who
- 41:39Speaker 1: sacrifice to protect our freedom. When I was in a
- 41:42Speaker 1: guest I talked about public education, the fact that unfortunately
- 41:46Speaker 1: this governor does not have a plan for how we
- 41:48Speaker 1: help our children recover from the pandemic but also succeed
- 41:52Speaker 1: going forward. He's doing these one offimic giving a little
- 41:55Speaker 1: bit of money here, a little bit of money there.
- 41:57Speaker 1: We need someone who's going to guarantee that he will
- 41:59Speaker 1: fully fund education. And I would say it's been. Instead
- 42:02Speaker 1: of waiting for him to do it, I can get
- 42:04Speaker 1: it done as the next governor of Georgia. And I
- 42:06Speaker 1: bring this to the state because I have been a
- 42:09Speaker 1: small business owner, as been a nonprofit leader. I'm a
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yale educated tax attorney. But more than anything, I've always
- 42:17Speaker 1: put the people of Georgia first, and I want to
- 42:19Speaker 1: do that again as the next governor of the state. Yes, ma'am, Wow,
- 42:24Speaker 1: she's so brilliant. Yeah, let me ask you this explained
- 42:29Speaker 1: to my listening audience what it is that sets you
- 42:32Speaker 1: apart from the other candidates in Georgia's race for the governorship.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Right now, the Republican side has five candidates. The two
- 42:42Speaker 1: leading candidates are Bryan Kemp and David Purdue. David Perdue
- 42:48Speaker 1: as a former senator who was outsted by John Astok,
- 42:51Speaker 1: who's doing an amazing job along with the Senator Raphael
- 42:54Speaker 1: Warnock making certain that the money that Georgia deserves is
- 42:57Speaker 1: coming home for the first time and so years. But
- 43:01Speaker 1: the reality is the difference between me and Brian Keimp
- 43:03Speaker 1: Frian Kimp doesn't seem to care. He doesn't care about
- 43:06Speaker 1: our healthcare. He won't take action even though Mike Pence,
- 43:10Speaker 1: the former Republican Vice president, expanded Medica when he was
- 43:13Speaker 1: governor of Indiana. Brian Kemp will not do right by
- 43:16Speaker 1: our people. Yesterday he find a bill that allows criminals
- 43:21Speaker 1: to buy pass the permitting process and get done. And
- 43:25Speaker 1: we know that this is going to make us less safe.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I call it criminal carey. We know it makes us
- 43:30Speaker 1: less safe because the permitting process is one of the
- 43:32Speaker 1: one way we close the background. We poll in the
- 43:36Speaker 1: state of Georgia, five thousand, two hundred people applied for
- 43:40Speaker 1: this permit in twenty twenty and we're told no because
- 43:42Speaker 1: of felony conviction, because of domestic abuse charges, because of
- 43:46Speaker 1: mental hospitalization. And Brian Keimp yesterday said come on in
- 43:49Speaker 1: it's open season. We know that he does not care
- 43:53Speaker 1: about Georgia. He cares about power. He cares about the
- 43:56Speaker 1: people he likes, and he cares about the people who
- 43:58Speaker 1: can give him more power. I'm I care about all Georgians,
- 44:01Speaker 1: even the ones who don't like me. I campaigned in Deluse.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I don't campaign where they fell deliverance. I will go
- 44:08Speaker 1: everywhere in Georgia because I want people to have the
- 44:11Speaker 1: same opportunity iPad. I've been poor. I'm not there anymore,
- 44:15Speaker 1: and I want more people to have the opportunity to thrive,
- 44:18Speaker 1: to climb the ladder of success. We can't guarantee it
- 44:21Speaker 1: for anyone, but everyone should be guaranteed access. And that's
- 44:24Speaker 1: my mission. Miss Abras, hold on one second, we go.
- 44:27Speaker 1: We're gonna take a quick break, and we're gonna come
- 44:29Speaker 1: right back because I don't want anybody missed this important information.
- 44:31Speaker 1: We'll be right back with more to Steve Harvey Morning
- 44:33Speaker 1: Show right after this you're listening to, Hey, we're back.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Everybody in our special guests is our leader, Stacy Abrams,
- 44:44Speaker 1: who's running for governor of the state of Georgia, who
- 44:47Speaker 1: we are going to ensure replaces, uh, the current governor
- 44:52Speaker 1: anybody running against her. We were talking this morning about
- 44:56Speaker 1: several things. You know, I want to say this about
- 45:01Speaker 1: the current governor. You know, when you pass a bill
- 45:03Speaker 1: like this that allows people who have traditionally been denied
- 45:09Speaker 1: access to weapons. When she says that she's working for
- 45:12Speaker 1: people who like her and who don't like her, he
- 45:15Speaker 1: works for people who like him, who he likes and
- 45:19Speaker 1: can help make him powerful. And that's people who contribute.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Now I'm just gonna tell y'all the NR A nothing
- 45:27Speaker 1: is bigger than the NR And they are the hugest
- 45:31Speaker 1: lobbyists in this country when it comes to Republican Party
- 45:35Speaker 1: and that's selling who's selling guns. They don't care who
- 45:38Speaker 1: it hurts. They're gonna keep that Second Amendment alive so
- 45:41Speaker 1: everybody can purchase guns and make money. Period. That's what
- 45:46Speaker 1: this is about. To stop playing this game, y'all, that's
- 45:49Speaker 1: what this is. We've got to get out and vote
- 45:52Speaker 1: again and did and do what we did last year
- 45:55Speaker 1: or year before to make things right in this state
- 45:57Speaker 1: of Georgia. Georgia has turned the election around the president
- 46:00Speaker 1: and turn to the election around in the Senate, and
- 46:03Speaker 1: we're gonna do it for the governor this time. Since Abrams,
- 46:07Speaker 1: thank you so much. We're gonna take care of you. Well.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I just want to say thank you, Stephen. And if
- 46:12Speaker 1: I can add one piece, I believe in the Second Amendment.
- 46:14Speaker 1: My father was to hunt. My great grandmother taught me
- 46:17Speaker 1: how to shoot. I don't have an issue with the
- 46:19Speaker 1: Second Amendment. I have issue with people not being responsible.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Gun safety is what we are responsible for doing, and
- 46:26Speaker 1: we should not put weapons into the hands of people
- 46:28Speaker 1: who refused to take that seriously. And for every person
- 46:30Speaker 1: who says, oh, you know, every person who has the
- 46:34Speaker 1: second amendment of a law by in citizen, I remind
- 46:36Speaker 1: you of the two men or three men who murdered
- 46:38Speaker 1: from mott Aubrey. I remind you of the people who
- 46:41Speaker 1: use vigil auntie justice because they can stand because of
- 46:44Speaker 1: the standard ground laws. I remind you of the fact
- 46:46Speaker 1: that george is one of the top states for moving
- 46:49Speaker 1: weapons into the hands of criminals. Georgia should be leading
- 46:52Speaker 1: the way protecting our people, not making us less safe
- 46:55Speaker 1: by subanding who has it. And to learn more about
- 46:58Speaker 1: my campaign and more about how you can help so
- 47:00Speaker 1: the Stacy Abrams dot com. You can learn about my policy,
- 47:03Speaker 1: you can learn more about me and my story, and
- 47:05Speaker 1: you can learn how you can help us. Meet everybody
- 47:07Speaker 1: in the chimpaign with us, and you got it, Ladies
- 47:09Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Stacy Abrams dot com, everybody, Stacy Abrams dot com.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Since Abrams, thank you so much. We're gonna take care
- 47:17Speaker 1: of you. We wish you the best. Thank you so much.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Thank you to everyone. I appreciate you guys having me
- 47:22Speaker 1: all right. We want to thank leader Stacy Abrams once again.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Go to Stacy Abrams dot com for more information. Nephew,
- 47:30Speaker 1: it is your turn to step up to the mic
- 47:32Speaker 1: and give us today's phone call. We're going from that
- 47:36Speaker 1: to stupid ye know, sorry transition, Let's go. Then? Are
- 47:43Speaker 1: your lights on? Fad dog? If you hood? Hello? Hello?
- 47:50Speaker 1: Is I'm trying to reach us? Who's calling this? I love?
- 47:56Speaker 1: I think I actually live in the apartment behind you.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I think my apartments are up against each other for you?
- 48:02Speaker 1: Are you in Uni? Who want to know? Actually? I
- 48:07Speaker 1: want to know. I'm calling y'all got at a bit
- 48:08Speaker 1: of a problem. I actually live in, uh which is
- 48:12Speaker 1: the apartment that? That's our apartments are back to back
- 48:16Speaker 1: with each other. And I don't know, man, but you
- 48:20Speaker 1: are right, yes, okay, here's here's what's going on. It
- 48:24Speaker 1: took me a long time to figure this out. But
- 48:26Speaker 1: when you come home in the evening and you turn
- 48:30Speaker 1: your life down, my my oven and stove come on,
- 48:35Speaker 1: and I'm talking about every out on my stove is
- 48:39Speaker 1: on and burning hot. How do you know? That's because
- 48:42Speaker 1: when I turned my life home, I just I mean,
- 48:44Speaker 1: I didn't figure it out. It just seemed like every
- 48:46Speaker 1: time I mean, I hear you when you close your
- 48:48Speaker 1: door and every evening, I'm like, why it is my
- 48:52Speaker 1: oven and my stove coming home and I'm talking about
- 48:55Speaker 1: my whole kitchen just hunting degrees in there. But I
- 48:57Speaker 1: under stove being on like that. Okay, did you call maintenance?
- 49:01Speaker 1: From my understanding, I'm only listening. They're not gonna get
- 49:04Speaker 1: to me for a couple of days now, so I'm
- 49:06Speaker 1: not I'm asking you, if you're on mind, to not
- 49:10Speaker 1: how your lights on until they come get this fix. Okay.
- 49:13Speaker 1: So you asking me not to turn on my lights
- 49:16Speaker 1: for three or four days, and you know, to sit
- 49:18Speaker 1: in the dark. Well, I'm just saying it's it's only
- 49:20Speaker 1: gonna be for a couple of days. I know it's
- 49:21Speaker 1: a little bit of an inconvenience, but I mean, I
- 49:23Speaker 1: can't be over here in the house. You know they're
- 49:26Speaker 1: about to burn down. Are you listening to what you're saying?
- 49:28Speaker 1: You're asking me to sit in the dark. You know
- 49:30Speaker 1: I got a baby. I can't sit in the dark. Okay.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I mean, y'all have any camels or something y'all can
- 49:34Speaker 1: work with or something like that. Um, I have to
- 49:37Speaker 1: give my baby food milk. I mean, really, you want
- 49:40Speaker 1: me to sit in the dark, and you don't want
- 49:42Speaker 1: me to turn anything on. You know, I gotta feed
- 49:44Speaker 1: my baby. I understand, and and and much respect to
- 49:48Speaker 1: you in your child, much respect. But what I'm trying
- 49:51Speaker 1: to explain to you is, I mean, we have to
- 49:52Speaker 1: look at the big hazard here. The bigger hazard is
- 49:55Speaker 1: is that I'm over here with fire on. Okay, First
- 49:58Speaker 1: of all, where are you getting this wee? I am
- 50:00Speaker 1: I involved in your situation. I am nothing the one
- 50:03Speaker 1: that's going on your license catched in some kind of
- 50:06Speaker 1: way to my ovens and stove. Okay, but I still
- 50:09Speaker 1: I don't have anything to do with that. You know,
- 50:12Speaker 1: you need to call management whatever. But I don't have
- 50:16Speaker 1: anything to do with that. And I want to know,
- 50:18Speaker 1: how do you know when I get home and turn
- 50:20Speaker 1: on my life? I mean, like, are you looking at
- 50:22Speaker 1: my window or something? Are you a peeping tongs? Do
- 50:24Speaker 1: I need to call nine one one? You don't need
- 50:26Speaker 1: to call nobody on me. Now what we need to
- 50:28Speaker 1: get somebody over and fix this other in the stove.
- 50:30Speaker 1: That's what we got to get done. But until then,
- 50:33Speaker 1: right now, you can't turn them lights off. Oh I'm
- 50:36Speaker 1: turning on my life. I mean I know you ain't
- 50:39Speaker 1: trying to regulate what I do in my house. For listen,
- 50:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you just like this here, I'm gonna
- 50:44Speaker 1: need you to keep them lights off until meeting this
- 50:46Speaker 1: get over here in two days. Now. If if I
- 50:49Speaker 1: see this stove come on and all these our eyes
- 50:52Speaker 1: on this stove come on, that, I'm gonna come over
- 50:56Speaker 1: there and we're gonna have directify the problem. But I
- 50:58Speaker 1: cannot have just coming on. So are you threatening me now?
- 51:01Speaker 1: I'm not. No, I'm not, No, I am not. I'm
- 51:04Speaker 1: telling you not to turn the lights off. That's what
- 51:06Speaker 1: I'm asking you to do. Well, I can't sit in
- 51:08Speaker 1: the dark and I'm gonna turn on my lights. So
- 51:10Speaker 1: you know you're gonna have to deal with it. No,
- 51:12Speaker 1: I'm not gonna deal with it. You're gonna have to
- 51:14Speaker 1: actually turn the lights off. Now, I understand. Do you
- 51:17Speaker 1: have somewhere you can go stay? To me? Do you
- 51:19Speaker 1: have somewhere you can go stay? I'm not leaving my house.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I don't have a problem, you know. One of the problem.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I'm not going to leave here and then you turn
- 51:26Speaker 1: it on and then over here and knock on my door.
- 51:29Speaker 1: You think you see firing your solve. You're gonna see
- 51:31Speaker 1: some fire. I can show you some five Okay, listen,
- 51:34Speaker 1: I'm turning with as calmly as I can. Okay, I'm
- 51:36Speaker 1: trying to work with me, calmly. Okay. The only thing
- 51:38Speaker 1: you're doing right now is you're trying to tell me
- 51:40Speaker 1: what to do and run my household. Okay. If you're
- 51:42Speaker 1: not gonna work with me, then this is what I'm
- 51:44Speaker 1: gonna do. I already found out where the breaker is.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I just go and just turn all the power off
- 51:49Speaker 1: so you don't have your powwall at all. Wait a minute, what, No,
- 51:52Speaker 1: you can't turn my break off? Are you crazy? I
- 51:55Speaker 1: got to do what I got to do. I can't
- 51:57Speaker 1: start no fire. Right you get my phone up? But anyway,
- 52:00Speaker 1: I mean, how you know my name, my number? Artist?
- 52:02Speaker 1: You know what? I'm about to come home and he's
- 52:05Speaker 1: gonna put the foot up your I don't care if
- 52:07Speaker 1: he put your in the of it and we set
- 52:09Speaker 1: you on fire. What you're talking about, You're gonna damn
- 52:13Speaker 1: turn the break off. Let me. I'm trying to tell
- 52:15Speaker 1: me and prevent a fire for the whole complex. And
- 52:18Speaker 1: you're up and you're trying to commit Uh, this is
- 52:21Speaker 1: like arsen for you to turn that on. I don't
- 52:23Speaker 1: give a you don't want you already got a problem.
- 52:25Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna ask field to the fire. You
- 52:27Speaker 1: called me and again, I want to know how you
- 52:29Speaker 1: got my numb Look, I'm not going to city go
- 52:32Speaker 1: on in this little small timers, is that we got
- 52:35Speaker 1: a problem with your switch when you turn it on.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I don't have a problem on the stove. The problem
- 52:41Speaker 1: it's about to be a bigger problem when my man
- 52:43Speaker 1: come over there and put a foot up your I
- 52:45Speaker 1: don't know who you think you with, but it's about
- 52:48Speaker 1: to be on tired home. I don't know how you
- 52:51Speaker 1: got my number, but you call the wrong today. Okay, Fie,
- 52:55Speaker 1: I got oneman else I need to say you listen
- 52:57Speaker 1: you got to say because I'm tired of listening to you.

- 53:07Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 53:10Speaker 1: by your husband? Are you wait a minute? Hold up?

- 53:34Speaker 1: know I was ready to put a foot up in somebody.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I don't believe. I just got pumped like this. Okay,
- 53:44Speaker 1: I gotta ask you one more thing. What is the

- 54:29Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 54:30Speaker 1: you here. It is draw up Verry letter. Thank you, nephew.
- 54:34Speaker 1: My boyfriend is a show off. Dear Stephen Shirley I've
- 54:39Speaker 1: been married for almost nine years to a man that
- 54:42Speaker 1: would rather buy me things than talk to me and
- 54:44Speaker 1: spend time with me. We have a boat and other
- 54:48Speaker 1: water toys. That's how he spends his time. I can
- 54:51Speaker 1: only imagine how women must flock to him when he's
- 54:54Speaker 1: at the lake, because I can smell their scents on him.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Whenever he does come home, it's all finding good because
- 55:00Speaker 1: I've got a maintenance man on the side, and he
- 55:03Speaker 1: keeps me occupied if I need company. I am growing
- 55:07Speaker 1: really fond of this guy, but I've had to pull
- 55:10Speaker 1: back from him a little bit. He calls himself my boyfriend,
- 55:14Speaker 1: and I'll always correct him. He has hinted that my
- 55:17Speaker 1: husband is probably a cheater and hopes that it will
- 55:20Speaker 1: make us closer. I can see through the bs, and
- 55:23Speaker 1: I don't like when men gossip, but this guy is
- 55:25Speaker 1: special to me, so I overlooked it. What I can't
- 55:29Speaker 1: deal with is how he tries to one up my
- 55:31Speaker 1: husband and everything he does for me. It became obvious
- 55:35Speaker 1: over the Christmas holidays when my husband sent me to
- 55:38Speaker 1: the spot for an entire day. I was unable to
- 55:42Speaker 1: I was unavailable to my maintenance man for hours, and
- 55:46Speaker 1: he was losing his mind, so a week later, he
- 55:49Speaker 1: sent a massage therapist to my house while my husband
- 55:53Speaker 1: was there. My husband gave me a diamond pinky ring
- 55:57Speaker 1: for Christmas, so he turned around and got me a
- 56:00Speaker 1: bigger diamond band for Valentine's Day. I can't tell my
- 56:03Speaker 1: husband where the gifts come from, and I can't explain
- 56:06Speaker 1: to my coworkers why my office is always full of
- 56:09Speaker 1: fresh flowers. I've asked my maintenance man to stop being
- 56:13Speaker 1: a show off and stay in his lane, and that
- 56:16Speaker 1: really hurts his feelings. I think he's hoping he can
- 56:19Speaker 1: woo me away from my fabulous lifestyle and marriage, but
- 56:23Speaker 1: that will never happen. How can I tell him he's
- 56:26Speaker 1: ruining the fun in our relationship? What are you doing? Seriously,
- 56:38Speaker 1: what are you doing? You have a husband, you have
- 56:41Speaker 1: a boyfriend, and you need help from us with what.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure that out. It's not like you're
- 56:48Speaker 1: trying to fix your marriage or anything, because you're already set.
- 56:50Speaker 1: In your letter. You can smell other women's sense on
- 56:53Speaker 1: him talking about your husband, and it's fine and good.
- 56:58Speaker 1: It must be, because why aren't you out on the
- 57:01Speaker 1: boat with him? You never mentioned that you left that
- 57:03Speaker 1: part up. Why you aren't spending time. I know you
- 57:05Speaker 1: said he doesn't talk to you and all that, but
- 57:08Speaker 1: something must be going on. Why you know, besides that,
- 57:11Speaker 1: why you don't go out there or anything. You just
- 57:13Speaker 1: let him go. I think you love the attention you're
- 57:16Speaker 1: getting from both of these men. I think you love
- 57:19Speaker 1: the gifts, and I think you're playing a dangerous game
- 57:22Speaker 1: here and listen, Please don't be stupid for one second
- 57:27Speaker 1: and think that the grass is greener on the other
- 57:29Speaker 1: side with your side piece. I think he'll continue his
- 57:32Speaker 1: generous gift giving until you decide. If you do to
- 57:37Speaker 1: leave your husband, then all that's probably going to stop.
- 57:40Speaker 1: He's in competition with your husband. He's trying to woo you.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Like you said in the letter, you're the pawn here,
- 57:47Speaker 1: not the prize. This game won't be as exciting if
- 57:50Speaker 1: you leave your husband. Okay, so please don't give up
- 57:53Speaker 1: what you're already calling your fabulous lifestyle and marriage. I
- 57:57Speaker 1: hope you mean that when you say it, that it
- 58:01Speaker 1: will never happen. I do hope you mean that. And
- 58:03Speaker 1: you ask, how do you tell that he's ruining the
- 58:06Speaker 1: fun in your relationship? How do you tell him that. Well,
- 58:08Speaker 1: you won't have to if you leave him alone and
- 58:12Speaker 1: talk to your husband about your marriage. That's what you
- 58:14Speaker 1: need to do at this point. Figure out what's going
- 58:17Speaker 1: on there, Steve, this letter is just a bunch of
- 58:25Speaker 1: bas less. I don't care. I don't got other things
- 58:31Speaker 1: to do. Man trying to be a good grandfather now
- 58:37Speaker 1: and all is here trying to talk sense into my
- 58:40Speaker 1: kids and dogs. I ain't got time for this lady,
- 58:42Speaker 1: and this mess sheet and created. My boyfriend is a
- 58:46Speaker 1: show off. Why do you have a boyfriend? Let's just
- 58:49Speaker 1: start there. We got a whole letter that don't even
- 58:52Speaker 1: have to be a damn letter if you would just
- 58:55Speaker 1: fix the problem. You can't upset it a thousand times.
- 58:59Speaker 1: You can't vix what's wrong in your house outside your house.
- 59:03Speaker 1: You've been married nine years to a man who would
- 59:06Speaker 1: rather buy you things than talk to you and spend
- 59:08Speaker 1: time with you. We got a boat, other water toys,
- 59:12Speaker 1: and he spends his time. I can't. I can only
- 59:15Speaker 1: imagine how women flock to him when he at the lake,
- 59:17Speaker 1: because I can smell they sent on him whenever he
- 59:20Speaker 1: does come home. Okay, right there, right there is where
- 59:25Speaker 1: we need to address Shirley said it. Why you ain't
- 59:29Speaker 1: on the boat, Why you ain't at the lake, Why
- 59:32Speaker 1: you ain't on the water toys. Everybody else down there
- 59:36Speaker 1: on the boat wouldn't mar everybody else down there on
- 59:38Speaker 1: the water toys except you. He come home and he
- 59:42Speaker 1: got the scent of women on him. And it's all
- 59:45Speaker 1: fining good because I got a maintenance man on the
- 59:48Speaker 1: side that keeps me occupied. Well, y'all, even case case
- 59:53Speaker 1: close case, aw he doing you, you doing him? He
- 59:57Speaker 1: do wrong? You do wrong? Case end of letter? What
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: what what you're inviting us in this phone? Your correction
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: to the problem is to get a maintenance man on
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the side. And I'm going really fond of this guy,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: but I've had to pull back from him a little
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: bit because he calls himself my boyfriend, and I got
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: always got to correct him. He's hinted that my husband
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: is probably a Cheatah. What you need his hint? He ain't.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: He ain't smelling the scent of other women on your man.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: You are. He's hinted that your husband is a Cheatah.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: He and he knows Jeff like you ass letter. All right,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response to today's strawberry
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: letter coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: The subject is my boyfriend is a show off. We'll
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: all right? Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: with the subject of my boyfriend is a show off. Okay,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: This married woman has a boyfrid problem already. Her husband
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: spends money and things on her instead of time and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: talking to her. They got a boat, they got water toys.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: He always at the lake when he come home. She
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: can smell a center of the women on her, but
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: that don't bother her because she has a maintenance man
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: on the side and he keeps me occupied. Okay, cool,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: He down at the lake tripping, and you didn't decide
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: to get you a maintenance man to help keep you occupied.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: We even where what's on us in a letter? Folk?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I don't know what we even by? Bye bye? My
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: boyfriend is a show off. But you got nerve to
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: call this man to call you. He's hinted. And then
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: first of all, you've gotten fond of this guy. But
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: you got to pull it back a little bit because
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: he calls himself my boyfriend. And all he's had to correct.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: But that's what he is. He your boyfriend. Yeah, that's
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: what it is. You might not care for the title.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: You know you do this several titles going on in here.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: He's hinted that my husband is probably a Cheatah, in
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: hopes that it will make us closer. I can see
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: through the BS. This ain't BS. This is facts. This
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: is not BS. You can see through the BS. It's
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: not BS. He telling you the truth. Your husband. He's
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: hinted your husband to Cheatah, you think your husband cheating?
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: That's why you're cheating. Where we at with this hill?
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I don't like it with me and gossip, but this
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: guy is special to me, so I'll overlooked it. Why
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: what I can't deal with this? How he tries to
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: one up my husband and everything he does for me.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: It becomes obvious over the Christmas holidays when my husband
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: sent me to the spot for the entire day. I
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: was unavailable to my maintenance man for hours and he
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: was losing his mind. So a week later, he sent
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: a massage therapist to my house while my husband was there.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: He ain't one up in he doing you. You don't
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: sent the therapist to the damn house while your husband
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: is dead. That ain't one up in your husband. That's
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: putting you in a precarious position. And here you go again.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: You know, but but you know what. The old ladies
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: see this the game you playing though, See you playing
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: this game with your little maintenance man. So he's he's
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: doing maintenance work. He doing upkeep. That's what the maintenance
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: men do. We come and keep up the property. See
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: we maintain property. You property, So he's maintaining it. You
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: got tapists at the house. Here go another one right here.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: My husband gave me a diamond pinky for Christmas, so
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: he turned around and got me a bigger diamond band
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: for Valentine's Day. Okay, what enjoy the gifts? You like
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: things because your marriage is being held together by things
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: instead of talking in time. So he didn't found out
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: you like things, right, So he didn't got your big
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: diamond bracelet for Valentine's Day. I can't tell my husband
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: where the gifts come from. Leave them down at your
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: job in your desk like everybody else. Do that, cheat,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: What are you wearing this bracelet around your husband? Fault?
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: You're stupid, You're stupid, Dao, My damn nerd. I don't know.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I can't explain him where I got this big diamond
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: band from. Where are you wearing it at the house fault?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Keep it down at your job? And I can't tell
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: my co workers why my office is always full of
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: fresh flowers because it's two men sending them. Yeah, she
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: likes the attention. I've asked my maintenance man to stop
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: being a show off and stay in his lane, and
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: that really hurt his feeling. Stay in his lane? How
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you gonna tell the man what the lane is? See,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I think he's hoping he can whoo me away from
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: my fabulous lifestyle and marriage, but that will never happen.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: How do I tell him he's ruined in the fun
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: in our relationship? Well, let me explain something to you.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Your marriage is things you really don't care. You care
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: about things. You want to have a boyfriend, but you
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: want to tell him how to be the boyfriend. You
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: want to have a side piece. You want to tell
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: him how to be a side piece, but you really
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: the side piece, and you don't even understand that. And
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: so now you can't write the rules to this because
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: let me explain the rules too. You've heard the term
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: pimper ain't easy, but somebody got to do it. Well,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: let me tell you the real rule. Pimper ain't easy
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: and everybody can't do it. See that's the real rule
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: of pimping. Pimper ain't easy and everybody can't do it,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: and you ain't a pimple. I'm gonna just gonna tell
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: your facts. You ain't a pimper, but you're trying to
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: play like you a pimper. You're trying to pimp your
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: husband for things, and you pimper this man for things,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: and you like the attention. But pimper ain't easy, but
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: somebody got to do it. Problem is, you ain't the
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: one that could do it. Pimper ain't easy, and everybody
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: can't do it, and you, lady, can't do it. You
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: ain't a pimp. You need to get out the pimp
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: business because you don't even know how to do it.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: You're taking the gifts to the house. Y'a ought to
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: have that down him. You ought to let him call
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you your boyfriend. What difference that may? He ain't talking
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: to nobody but you, you stupid. You gotta let him
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: call you something. He want to be your boyfriend. Let
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: him do that. I tell him quick calling me your boyfriend.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Why he ain't talking nobody but you. Now, if he
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: posted on Instagram, we have a problem. So he got
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: the title of boyfriend. So it's pimping. That's what it do.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: So so you want to be the girlfriend you're telling
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: it to me. Go ahead, you. I don't like this letter.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I don't apologize to everybody listening, because don't
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: nobody listening driving the work, at work, at the house,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: or nobody give a damn. We don't care what happened
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: to you all your little ragged ass marriage. I hope
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: you get a divorce. I hope both of them spot you.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I hope the therapists tell on you all this here.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: I hope the flowers gets sent to the Ronge house,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: all of it all right, Listen, we're gonna wrap this
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: one up. Steve. Thank you. Post your comments on Today's

- 1:10:44Speaker 1: you can hear your messages on the heir with us. Steve.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: We are ready to go. Let's go. This caller is
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: from New Jersey. Her name is Hollie. I mister Harvey,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Miss Shirley, Tommy and the rest of the truth. I
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: really didn't love listening to you guys. My name is Hollie.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I'm calling all the way from New Jersey. I have
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: a question for you, mister Harvey. I know you have
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: a blended family, and I'm supposed to have a blended family,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: but I don't. And the reason I'm saying that is
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: because my husband of ten years have kept his children
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: away from our home or relationship, and it has gotten
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: to a stage where it's so very toxic. In a nutshell,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: my husband have moved to the sofa since February of
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: this year, and it's a lot of tension and what
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: comes with that. Anyway, my question for you, how should
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I handle this? I'm actually thinking of going south because
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I've tried getting him too counseling and he bluntly refused.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: And at this stage in my life, I need my
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: mental health. I have two adults boys, they just graduated
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: from college, and I don't think I want to put
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: up with living like this. I would great to appreciate
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: your advice. Thank you have a great things. Well, I mean, ma'am,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you got me in a precarious position, But I would
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: have to go along with your initial thoughts on this
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: thing right here, I personally don't understand. Look, you're not
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: gonna blend this family. He keeps them apart. You're working
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: for something that he ain't trying to make happen. You
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: got tension in your life. Life is too short to
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: live like this. Your children are grown. You never mentioned
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: how his were, but you know they might be grown too.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: So I'm just going about your business. You want to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: go south, go south, but you ain't got to keep
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: you ain't gotta You can't make nobody do something they
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: don't want to do. You can't get a person in
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: therapy that won't go to therapy. You can't make a
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: person do right the dot that wants to do wrong.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: You can't make nobody love you. So take your fine
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: self on south. You ain't got to worry about it.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: You know you've done your job raising your kids. If
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: he don't want to include his kids in the process,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I'm kind of be inclined to agree with you without
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: knowing any more about the situation. But I'm not a
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: proponent of living in unhappiness. I'm not a proponent of
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: living in misery. I get out in a heartbeat, well
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: more than a heartbeat. I really do think it out
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: quite thoroughly. But once I think it out, theoly I'm gone.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: You might think it's a heartbeat, but there's a lot

- 1:20:44Speaker 1: was doing. It was Jackie Robinson day, and and you
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: asked me, did I ever meet Jackie Robertson? I was
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: good school. I didn't get into the eighties. I didn't know.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I just I just figured, you know what, are you
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: just picking all old ass people that I I you
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: think cause you think because I just met every damn body? Yeah,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: because I've been aliuned. I've seen you meet all these
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: people like you. Did you ever meet Cal Callaway, many
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: the Mooch? I ain't meet Elephants Jerald either. Yeah? Shocking,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: But you know what, when are you picking all these
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: old ass people I'm gonna meet? Actor? I can't tell
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: you the people I ain't met, you know, might be
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: a little might might might be a little shocking to you,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: but I wasn't at the last supper. I know that
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: probably voting you a little me. I wasn't there either.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Look close after picture and see if you see me.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Don't ask me about every critically vet in history and
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: then putting me in it. But why is you upset? Though?
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Why is I'm upset? The oldest on the show. I
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: just asked just a question. You ain't gotta take it
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: like that. I respect you taking it the wrong way, Junior, Yeah,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: he taking it wrong. It just so you didn't know
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: you didn't know Christopher Columbia at all? What man I
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: know him? I mean, you know, man just t me
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: going down all through black history and just marking me
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: down like I was there. I bet Hunk knows him.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: He got to. I just thought about it. So Mark's garfing. No,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you know, Mark, you had to. I had to, okay,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: you know, just just simply because you don't know nobody
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: but Jeudice. Let's just try to stop making me know everybody.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: It ain't got to be that way, okay, So you
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: you so let me ask you. I know you was
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: at the Million Man march, right, I was at the
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Million Man okay, So that's why I asked you, did
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: you know Jacket because it's a civil rights movement and
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: stuff like that. I just ask him you was there
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: for it? Hey, let me tell you something else. I
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: know this gonna throw y'all. I was not on the
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: bus that day. Rosa Park refused to get up. I
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: wasn't on that damn bus. I wasn't waiting at the
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: bus stop. I wasn't going, man, we're taking that bust.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: So damn man, she better get up and let that
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: white man sit down. I wasn't over that making none
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: of them damn remarks. Right, Yeah, I wasn't down there
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: for none of that. I missed that too, Junior. I
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: know you think you know because I tell you why
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I thought you knew Jackie Robert, because you're the most
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: famous person. I know. That's it, most person. Hey, the speech,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: the greatest speech of all times. I have a dream speech. Yeah,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: nineteen sixty four at the mall on Washington. I was
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: alive then. But you know why I wasn't that, Junior,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: because my mom and dadd wouldn't let me ride my
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: bike all the way to Washington. That's why. Because it
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: was child, because I was seven. What you're gonna do
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: is stop marking me down all these great black moments,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: like I was there, I was okay, I didn't know.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I just you know, no, no, no, no, no no,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I knew every time. I know. You've been a grown
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: up the whole time. I'm yeah, I didn't even think
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: about you. When Will Chamberlain this is sport. You like sports?
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: You know, when Will Chamberlain scored a hundred points, I
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: wasn't there for that. I don't know, air damn body.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I appreciate you thinking a lot of me, but I
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: just don't know. Air damn body every day that all events,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you do. Appreciate that I do. I'm sorry. I ain't
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: gonna make a mistake. I learned something today. That's what
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I learned. I learn you don't know, Steve doesn't know everyone.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: But you didn't walk over the bridge though, right uh bridge? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: after after after listen to people walk over the damn bridge,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: because I'm telling you right now, I'm throwing white folks
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: off the bridge if you run upon me at Paris Bridge,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: because you show ain't throwing me off because I can't
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: swim it. It was all kind of hell on that
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: bridge like that, because I don't do peaceful protests. That
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: ain't what I do. I do not do peaceful protests.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Love mar Luther King, but that ain't really what I do.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Once you, once you kick me, I got to kick
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: you back. That's how I was raised. I don't feel
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: what man, he said, Steve Junior made a mistake, so
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you know you really are mad at him? Break damn
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: mistake And I always think it out un un did
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: you mean Jacket Robinson the first black person played Stop breathing? God? Man,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Now you did you went to a Joe Lewis fight? Though, right?
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: You did do that? What look at his face? But
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: Joe Lewis yo, Oh my god, Junior said. I was
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: just asking. I ain't never seen the rocket Massaiano fight.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Case you want to know that I didn't do that
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: right there, they're just going down a couple of days
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: or that I wouldn't. I wasn't a PA or working
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: on the film Crouiving a Shooting Color Purple, wasn't in that.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: I wasn't a right on the Flip Wilson show. Just
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: case you want to know that I wasn't involved in that.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: None of that. Never talked to moms, maybe lip backstage
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: that we gotta go. Steve. Hey man, y'all have a
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: great day and listen to me. Stop talking to Junior,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: but do talk to God because he loved to hear
