- 0:01Speaker 1: The NAACP has decided to put out a travel warning
- 0:07Speaker 1: against Florida and a new attack on the Sunshine State
- 0:12Speaker 1: because of Governor Ron DeSantis. So the oldest civil rights
- 0:16Speaker 1: group in the US is now cautioning travelers to reconsider
- 0:20Speaker 1: visits to Florida as they join other advocates in expressing
- 0:24Speaker 1: distaste for the state's openly quote hostile leadership.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I'm not joking, by the way.
- 0:31Speaker 1: The NAACP issued a travel advisory in response to Florida
- 0:36Speaker 1: Governor Ronda census attempt to ban books about race and
- 0:39Speaker 1: the LGBTQ plus identities rejected to advanced placement African American
- 0:44Speaker 1: Studies course and bar diversity, equity and inclusion programs in
- 0:49Speaker 1: Florida colleges. The advisory advisory was proposed to the National
- 0:54Speaker 1: Board of Directors in April during the NAACP's Florida Chapter
- 0:58Speaker 1: conference in Orlando, saying, quote, Florida is openly hostile towards
- 1:04Speaker 1: African Americans, people of color, and LGBTQ plus individuals. Before
- 1:09Speaker 1: traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida
- 1:12Speaker 1: devalues and marginalizes the contributions of and the challenge is
- 1:16Speaker 1: faced by African Americans and other communities of color. The
- 1:19Speaker 1: NAACP says, now, let me also be clear about this.
- 1:24Speaker 1: This is nothing more than a political attack on Ron DeSantis.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Trying to undermine Ron DeSantis. That's what this is. They
- 1:33Speaker 1: just want to undermine him. They want to hurt him. Okay,
- 1:36Speaker 1: they want this to be a bad moment for DeSantis.
- 1:41Speaker 1: They want to undermine what he's doing, and they want
- 1:44Speaker 1: to undermine how he's doing it. In his announcement. This
- 1:48Speaker 1: is a way of doing what democrats do so well,
- 1:52Speaker 1: what they do so well, with maybe a better way
- 1:54Speaker 1: of putting it. If they see you as a threat,
- 1:57Speaker 1: the first thing democrats now do is label you as
- 2:01Speaker 1: a racist. The NAACP is doing exactly that. They're screaming racism, right,
- 2:09Speaker 1: because that's just what they do. You scream racism. You
- 2:13Speaker 1: say that Ron DeSantis is a racist, that Florida is
- 2:17Speaker 1: a racist state, and that you can't vote for him,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and you shouldn't go there and you shouldn't visit there
- 2:23Speaker 1: because of just how racist he is. Are the policies racists?
- 2:28Speaker 3: No?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Are they welcoming of everyone? Yes? Immigrants yes, people of color? Yes?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Is the premise for this totally absurd. Absolutely, but it
- 2:36Speaker 1: doesn't matter because the NAACP has serious weight. The other
- 2:41Speaker 1: thing is people will read just the headline right that
- 2:44Speaker 1: Florida is a hate inspired state as they described it.
- 2:49Speaker 1: The NAACP president Derek Johnson asserted, DeSantis has launched a
- 2:54Speaker 1: quote unrelenting attack on fundamental freedoms.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Let me be clear.
- 3:00Speaker 1: He says, failing to teach an accurate representation of the
- 3:04Speaker 1: horrors and inadequies inadequies that Black Americans of face and
- 3:08Speaker 1: continue to face, is a disservice to students and a
- 3:12Speaker 1: dereliction of duty to all. Johnson said in a statement, Now,
- 3:16Speaker 1: what did the governor do?
- 3:18Speaker 2: Well?
- 3:19Speaker 1: This is as big of a lie as the quote
- 3:21Speaker 1: don't say gay bill, That didn't say that in Florida.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Again another attack trying to take out Ron DeSantis.
- 3:30Speaker 2: The NAACP president.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Went on seeing anything to talk about that, and I
- 3:34Speaker 1: want you to hear what he had to say from Jackson, Mississippi,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you just.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Heard the words of the Santas himself calling this call
- 3:42Speaker 4: by the NAACP a stunt.
- 3:45Speaker 3: How do you respond, Well, the governor has perfected the
- 3:49Speaker 3: art of doing stunts to gain campaign contributions. Unfortunately, this
- 3:55Speaker 3: will impact people lives. We should not use race or
- 3:58Speaker 3: othering as a to weaponize against people, and unfortunately, for
- 4:04Speaker 3: a large percientage of the Plridians, that's what he has done. Therefore,
- 4:08Speaker 3: we are advising African Americans and others that if you
- 4:12Speaker 3: travel to Florida, beware that your life is not value.
- 4:16Speaker 3: That we have a political landscape that could cause harm
- 4:20Speaker 3: as we prepare Florda twenty twenty four elections to right
- 4:24Speaker 3: size the political landscape in the state of Florida.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Now, if this isn't a political stunt by the NAACP,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't know what is. And the reason why I
- 4:35Speaker 1: know that is because they're so transparent. The NAACP, after
- 4:39Speaker 1: they issue is travel warning saying Florida's hostile to Black Americans,
- 4:44Speaker 1: the NAACP president came out and said this, I.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Want to ask you what you intended to accomplish with this?
- 4:50Speaker 4: What are you hoping happens because of this advisory.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Well, we have talked to our members in the state
- 4:56Speaker 3: of Florida, Florida partner groups, individuals in the LA After
- 5:00Speaker 3: American communities, and so for many they were asking what
- 5:03Speaker 3: should we do and we understand that many conventions are
- 5:05Speaker 3: going to be held in Florida, so we are advising
- 5:09Speaker 3: our members and others that if you go, be cautious
- 5:12Speaker 3: of how you operate in the state. That if you
- 5:14Speaker 3: have another choice to hold your convention, consider a place
- 5:18Speaker 3: outside of Florida. But also let's if you have to
- 5:22Speaker 3: go there, let's support the local community as we prepare
- 5:25Speaker 3: to change the political landscape.
- 5:27Speaker 2: We didn't end here overnight.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It was because of the elections, so we have to
- 5:30Speaker 3: prepare for the next election so we can get rid
- 5:32Speaker 3: of him once and for all.
- 5:35Speaker 2: The other thing that.
- 5:36Speaker 3: We have seen first by Trump now by him is
- 5:39Speaker 3: not only un American, it's dangerous and we have to
- 5:42Speaker 3: right size this landscape.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Okay, So the NAACP says their ultimate goal and the
- 5:50Speaker 1: reason why they get this advisory, is to get rid
- 5:53Speaker 1: of Rondo Santis. So, in other words, it is a
- 5:56Speaker 1: political stock. Right, this is clearly the political stunt. We
- 6:02Speaker 1: don't like Rhino Santis.
- 6:04Speaker 2: What do we do?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Okay, let's call him a racis great. Let's do a
- 6:07Speaker 1: travel warning to declare how big of a racist he is. Okay, perfect,
- 6:11Speaker 1: let's do that that. That's that's what he just said here.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I don't.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I don't know any other way to put it. That's
- 6:19Speaker 1: I mean, this is this is clearly the ballgame. We
- 6:23Speaker 1: come out, we go against the Santis, we declare that
- 6:27Speaker 1: DeSantis is a racist, and then once we declare him
- 6:31Speaker 1: a racist, we I guess we win. Like that's it, Like, okay,
- 6:35Speaker 1: we take we took out our political in on me
- 6:37Speaker 1: by calling him a racist. I don't, by the way,
- 6:40Speaker 1: believe this is going to work. I want to be
- 6:44Speaker 1: clear about that. I don't believe for a second that
- 6:47Speaker 1: the American people, especially those in Florida, are going to
- 6:50Speaker 1: believe this because they know what is actually happening in
- 6:53Speaker 1: the state. I also think it's pretty clear the racial
- 6:59Speaker 1: undertone of what he was saying, and one of those
- 7:03Speaker 1: racial undertones that you may have noticed there was him saying,
- 7:06Speaker 1: be careful how you operate in the state of Florida. Translation,
- 7:12Speaker 1: don't give your money to white people. That's what that means.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I mean, don't give your money to white businesses, white corporations,
- 7:25Speaker 1: or white people when you go to Florida. Operate in
- 7:28Speaker 1: the black community only. That's clear what the NAACP is
- 7:32Speaker 1: telling you there, right, wink wink, nod, nod. Hey, guys,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I need you to do this right. This is how
- 7:38Speaker 1: you need to roll like you, this is what we
- 7:40Speaker 1: need you to do. This is this is how we operate.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And when you hear it that way, and you you
- 7:48Speaker 1: hear what is being said there, it's to me, it's
- 7:53Speaker 1: pretty damning. And I think there's a lot of people
- 7:55Speaker 1: that would agree with me how damning that is. That
- 7:59Speaker 1: this is now the new low that we are and
- 8:02Speaker 1: this is I mean, this is really the new low.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Like, this is the new low. This is the new.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Reality of the situation, the scenario that we're in. Democrats
- 8:14Speaker 1: want to take you out. You're a racist. The NAACP
- 8:17Speaker 1: will come in declare you're a racist, regardless of the facts,
- 8:21Speaker 1: and the media will then give you the airtime to
- 8:23Speaker 1: come out there and go, Yep, you're racist. If you
- 8:26Speaker 1: travel to Florida, beware that your life is not valued.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Your life is not valued apparently if you're an African American.
- 8:33Speaker 1: And what does this say about African Americans if chosen
- 8:35Speaker 1: to live in Florida, like that feels safe. By the way,
- 8:38Speaker 1: did you talk to any of them, No, because this
- 8:40Speaker 1: is not about this. This is about race and a
- 8:43Speaker 1: race war and getting elected. I would say this, what
- 8:46Speaker 1: is your life not being valued have to do with
- 8:48Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four elections?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Right?
- 8:50Speaker 1: If you're going to say that, then that's a much
- 8:52Speaker 1: bigger issue than politics. If you're telling black people that
- 8:55Speaker 1: their life is not valued, that should really have nothing
- 8:58Speaker 1: to do with an election an election date, except that's
- 9:03Speaker 1: exactly what this is all about. I have another question though,
- 9:07Speaker 1: I have to ask, because he says, well, you know,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you know, if you have to go down there, react appropriately.
- 9:13Speaker 1: In other words, don't spend your money with anybody that's
- 9:15Speaker 1: not black, if you're black. That to me is also
- 9:18Speaker 1: I would say, very clearly racism. It is racist to
- 9:24Speaker 1: decide deliberately that you are not going to spend your money, okay,
- 9:31Speaker 1: with a with individuals, maybe that's a better way of
- 9:35Speaker 1: putting it. With individuals who don't have the same skin
- 9:39Speaker 1: color that you have. That is straight up racist, okay.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Number one, Like, there's no way to get around that.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It's racist. Okay, it's racist period.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Second thing on this is it's also incredibly racist towards
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think there's what last census, I want to say,
- 9:59Speaker 1: there's five million plus Hispanics in Florida and a lot
- 10:03Speaker 1: of them chose to put Ron DeSantis in office.
- 10:08Speaker 2: They have businesses.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So is the NAACP also now pretty much screwing those
- 10:16Speaker 1: that are those are that are Hispanic. I would say, yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 1: that's exactly what they're doing. They're saying, we're done with you.
- 10:25Speaker 1: That's a problem if you're Hispanic. What does this do
- 10:29Speaker 1: to your business? You've told African Americans number one, don't
- 10:32Speaker 1: go down there, but if you do, you sure as
- 10:36Speaker 1: hell better not giving your money anybody that doesn't have
- 10:38Speaker 1: the same skin color as you. There's five million plus Hispanics.
- 10:44Speaker 1: That's a lot, folks. That's a lot of Hispanics that
- 10:49Speaker 1: they just said. If you destroy their businesses, so be it.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Just don't give them your money. Whatever you do, don't
- 10:57Speaker 1: give them your money.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I want to have a conversation.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I want you to listen to what I say very carefully,
- 11:04Speaker 1: because I don't want people to put words in my mouth, okay,
- 11:08Speaker 1: And I want you to understand the conversation that I'm
- 11:10Speaker 1: about to have with you is extremely important conversation. If
- 11:13Speaker 1: you consider yourself to be conservative, if you consider yourself
- 11:17Speaker 1: to be a libertarian, if you consider yourself to be
- 11:22Speaker 1: a evangelical Christian voter. Okay, I want you to really
- 11:26Speaker 1: understand what I'm about to say to you. Is is
- 11:30Speaker 1: a very important conversation that we must have, and one
- 11:35Speaker 1: where I want you to understand that I am not
- 11:37Speaker 1: picking and or endorsing a candidate. This is a conversation
- 11:41Speaker 1: where you could say, can it A?
- 11:43Speaker 2: And can it be? Can it X? Can it?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Why?
- 11:45Speaker 2: I don't?
- 11:46Speaker 1: This is not about the two people I'm about to
- 11:48Speaker 1: talk about. It's about a bigger conversation that we need
- 11:51Speaker 1: to be careful and we need to have. Ron DeSantis
- 11:54Speaker 1: has announced that he is running for president. Okay, I
- 11:57Speaker 1: don't care about that aspect of this right now. That
- 12:00Speaker 1: why I'm saying. I'm just stating the fact Donald Trump
- 12:04Speaker 1: has already announced and is officially running for president of
- 12:07Speaker 1: United States of America. It's obvious to me that this
- 12:12Speaker 1: is a two man race between candidate A and candidate B.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And there is something that the media is hoping is
- 12:20Speaker 1: about to happen that the listeners of this audience, the
- 12:26Speaker 1: listeners of my podcast, the listener of every conservative talk
- 12:30Speaker 1: shows in America, are about to have a civil war
- 12:33Speaker 1: between choosing candidate A and candidate B. Now, if you
- 12:39Speaker 1: look at candidate A and Candidate B, both Candidate A
- 12:43Speaker 1: and Candidate B I think would serve the conservative movement
- 12:48Speaker 1: very well. I think Candidate A and Can it Be
- 12:53Speaker 1: both have track records of being staunch conservatives. I think,
- 12:58Speaker 1: in fact, the biggest is is the fact that there's
- 13:01Speaker 1: not a lot of real hardcore differences between Candidate A
- 13:04Speaker 1: and Can it Be. So then what happens is you
- 13:07Speaker 1: start trying to destroy Candidate A, if your candidate B,
- 13:10Speaker 1: and you try to destroy Can it Be, if your CANDIDA,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and have your supporters go for the jugular in any
- 13:19Speaker 1: way possible. In that scenario, the only person that wins
- 13:27Speaker 1: is the Democratic Party. The only person that wins, and
- 13:31Speaker 1: that means right now is Joe Biden. And I have
- 13:36Speaker 1: started to watch on social media and I have purposely
- 13:41Speaker 1: stayed out of the announcements because I've experienced in the
- 13:46Speaker 1: past what happens, and I've worked on a couple presidential campaigns.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I've outside advised four different campaigns. I have witnessed what
- 13:56Speaker 1: happens when two conservatives go to war on the local level,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and what happens when one guy wins and one guy loses.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And I've witnessed that the Usually the losing team is
- 14:07Speaker 1: angry and they're so mad that they're actually willing they
- 14:10Speaker 1: get sick if it gets too personal to say, I
- 14:13Speaker 1: hope that person loses and the Democrat wins, just to
- 14:17Speaker 1: stick it to them. That is what the Democrats are
- 14:22Speaker 1: hoping you're going to happen. I've witnessed on the state level.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I've witnessed in congressional seats. I've witnessed it in governor's
- 14:28Speaker 1: races and Senate races and congressional races. I've witnessed it
- 14:31Speaker 1: at every level where you have a throwdown, knockdown, drag
- 14:36Speaker 1: out fight that turns so personal instead of it being
- 14:42Speaker 1: about issues and substance, that the real winner is not
- 14:47Speaker 1: a Republican, and not even the Republican who wins that primary.
- 14:51Speaker 1: It's the Democratic Party. It's the hardcore, woke lefties. What
- 14:56Speaker 1: Democrats are hoping is going to happen right now is
- 14:58Speaker 1: that in the republic presidential campaign that Candidate A and
- 15:02Speaker 1: Candidate B go so personal that and one team gets
- 15:08Speaker 1: so angry at the other team that when that team,
- 15:11Speaker 1: whichever team loses, the they that they will say, well,
- 15:15Speaker 1: all right, if I can't have it neither can you.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And I and I say this to you as a
- 15:22Speaker 1: cautionary tale because I know, and I've talked to democrats.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I was talking to h I got called by a
- 15:28Speaker 1: reporter actually, oh, I don't know, probably an hour after
- 15:32Speaker 1: Desantus announced, and they wanted me to say something on
- 15:36Speaker 1: the record about it, about this, you know, civil war
- 15:39Speaker 1: that's breaking out in the GOP. And I said, I, A,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm not going to give you a comment, be off
- 15:45Speaker 1: the record. I'm not going to feed what you want.
- 15:47Speaker 1: And I know what you want. You want there to
- 15:49Speaker 1: be a civil war, and that's why you're calling it
- 15:51Speaker 1: a civil war. And you're hoping this happens because then
- 15:54Speaker 1: Joe Biden wins reelection. You notice by the way that
- 15:59Speaker 1: I did everything I could to keep Canada A's name
- 16:01Speaker 1: and can it Be his name out of it, because
- 16:03Speaker 1: the more I keep their names out of it in
- 16:05Speaker 1: this conversation, the more I think we actually understand what
- 16:09Speaker 1: I'm talking about here. I believe that Canaday and can
- 16:14Speaker 1: it Be both have amazing things to bring to the table.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I think that Candaai did an amazing job as President
- 16:20Speaker 1: of United States American I think can it Be did
- 16:22Speaker 1: an amazing job as governor of his state in Florida.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I think that these two men are so close together
- 16:32Speaker 1: that that what worries me the most is the only
- 16:35Speaker 1: way to beat one of the others, to go so
- 16:37Speaker 1: negative and get so nasty that actually it could destroy
- 16:42Speaker 1: all of our chances of getting rid of Joe Biden.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Because let me state here, as I said to this
- 16:49Speaker 1: journalist that called me, I am in favor of beating
- 16:54Speaker 1: one person, that is Joe Biden. I think that Joe
- 16:59Speaker 1: Biden is one of, if not the most corrupt president
- 17:06Speaker 1: in political history. I think the way that he has
- 17:09Speaker 1: compromised the United States of America with Russian oligarchs giving
- 17:14Speaker 1: millions to his family, taking millions from Romania, taking billions
- 17:18Speaker 1: and loans from the Chinese, trying to do business with
- 17:22Speaker 1: the worst actors in the world, including the former mayor
- 17:25Speaker 1: of Moscow's wife who gave millions directly to him. I
- 17:28Speaker 1: think he has compromised in ways that have done irreputable
- 17:33Speaker 1: harm to this country.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I think the.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Way that he is allowed for the weaponization of the
- 17:39Speaker 1: United States government, the hands of the DOJ and the
- 17:41Speaker 1: FBI to go after people that are just doing their jobs,
- 17:46Speaker 1: like reporters that actually reported who were not conservative, actually
- 17:49Speaker 1: more liberal. About the Twitter files and the irs showing
- 17:52Speaker 1: up to their home the day they're testifying to Congress
- 17:54Speaker 1: tells you how out of control we are. My enemy
- 17:58Speaker 1: politically is Hillary Clinton, the same Clinton family that we
- 18:01Speaker 1: now know the FBI the DOJ shut down not one,
- 18:04Speaker 1: not two, but three, not three, but four different investigations
- 18:07Speaker 1: into them. My enemy are the people that made the
- 18:11Speaker 1: decision to raid a former president's house by the name
- 18:13Speaker 1: of Donald Trump. My enemy is the Democratic Party that
- 18:18Speaker 1: no longer exists, that is a communist party. My enemy
- 18:22Speaker 1: is the communist movement that is masquerating is the Democratic Party.
- 18:27Speaker 1: That's who I'm wanting to beat. You have to understand
- 18:30Speaker 1: I've already picked my candidate in twenty twenty four. I've
- 18:34Speaker 1: picked the conservative candidate who gets the nomination because I
- 18:39Speaker 1: want to beat the living hell out of communism. Now,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I say this tonight, and I want you to understand
- 18:48Speaker 1: why I'm saying it, and I want you to understand
- 18:50Speaker 1: that I'm telling you of a cautionary tale. If we
- 18:54Speaker 1: allow this thing to get too nasty, if we allow
- 18:57Speaker 1: this thing to get too ugly, Queen Candidate A and
- 19:01Speaker 1: Candidate B. The only person that wins is the Democratic Party.
- 19:09Speaker 1: And it's not just the presidency. It's our integrity, it's
- 19:13Speaker 1: our national security, it's our children, it's our national debt,
- 19:19Speaker 1: it's the debt that we're going to put on our children.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The list goes on and on. Look at our national
- 19:26Speaker 1: debt right now, what we've done to our kids and
- 19:28Speaker 1: our grandkids. Yes, Republicans are partly responsible for it, no
- 19:33Speaker 1: doubt about it.
- 19:34Speaker 2: But if you really look at.
- 19:35Speaker 1: It, it's very clear that Joe Biden and the Democratic
- 19:40Speaker 1: Party has no problem bankrupting this country because when they
- 19:43Speaker 1: bankrupt this country, there's something that happens. When they bankrupt
- 19:47Speaker 1: this country, they get more power and more control. That's
- 19:53Speaker 1: what they get when they bankrupt this country. They get
- 19:57Speaker 1: to seize control over a bat week country that has
- 20:03Speaker 1: weak people. You don't know who my enemy is. My
- 20:05Speaker 1: enemy is the people that aren't willing to protect our
- 20:08Speaker 1: southern border. That's my enemy. So let me be clear.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I am endorsing the Republican who wins the nomination, and
- 20:19Speaker 1: before then, I want to suspend as little money as
- 20:21Speaker 1: possible trying to beat one another up. I want to
- 20:24Speaker 1: unite the party as much as I possibly can until
- 20:27Speaker 1: that moment where one of two men wins. Because I'm running,
- 20:32Speaker 1: the only thing I care about is keeping our eye
- 20:34Speaker 1: on the par eyes and that prize is election day
- 20:38Speaker 1: of the general election in November of next year. That's
- 20:43Speaker 1: all I care about. This is going to be a
- 20:47Speaker 1: very long race, folks. Look down at your watches right now.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Look down at your clock right now.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Look at the date.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It's Friday, May the twenty seventh. It's not twenty twenty
- 20:56Speaker 1: three elections twenty twenty.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Four, folks. It's a long ways away.
- 21:00Speaker 1: And what Democrats are hoping is there's going to be
- 21:02Speaker 1: an all out civil war within the Republican movement and
- 21:05Speaker 1: they're going to be Republicans are so angry, Republicans that
- 21:09Speaker 1: are so mad when their guy doesn't win because somebody,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I promise you will lose. I don't know who it is,
- 21:17Speaker 1: but somebody's going to lose. And when they do, they're
- 21:20Speaker 1: hoping that there'll be such bad blood that you can't
- 21:22Speaker 1: see passing. You say, screw it, let Biden win, just
- 21:25Speaker 1: to stick it to them. That is what they want
- 21:28Speaker 1: to happen. And I tell you right now, if we
- 21:31Speaker 1: go down that road, we will lose in twenty twenty four,
- 21:34Speaker 1: which means our kids lose, and our grandkids lose, and
- 21:36Speaker 1: our country loses. So I'm not going to be talking
- 21:40Speaker 1: a whole lot about the two candidates in the primaries
- 21:44Speaker 1: early on. What I am going to talk about are
- 21:46Speaker 1: the issues, the issues that I care about. I'm not
- 21:48Speaker 1: going to be beating one man up over the other man.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I'm not going to be throwing punches or jumping behind
- 21:54Speaker 1: unless something significant changes. If someone does something really stupid,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I'm going to call that out. But we have to
- 22:00Speaker 1: be careful to understand what's at stake here. We're running
- 22:03Speaker 1: against Joe Biden, not against one another, and that you
- 22:07Speaker 1: can see it already, how it's ratching up. The vitriol,
- 22:10Speaker 1: the anger, the nastiness between conservatives has already started. I've
- 22:16Speaker 1: watched this happen too many times. The only person that
- 22:18Speaker 1: wins when we go down that road, the only team
- 22:21Speaker 1: that wins is the Communist Democratic Party.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Think about it.
- 22:28Speaker 1: We don't need to have a civil war within, especially
- 22:31Speaker 1: when we have Candida that's an amazing candidate, and can
- 22:33Speaker 1: it be that's an amazing candidate. We don't need to
- 22:36Speaker 1: have a civil war over two candidates that ninety nine
- 22:39Speaker 1: percent of the time agree with one another. That's my
- 22:42Speaker 1: cautionary tale. So when a reporter calls hoping that I'm
- 22:46Speaker 1: going to stoke the fire of this primary, I'm not
- 22:50Speaker 1: going to do it, and I'm asking you don't take
- 22:52Speaker 1: the bait either. Let's talk about a great opportunity for

- 23:58Speaker 1: sagging and several different categories, including immigration, the economy, and guns.
- 24:07Speaker 2: In other words, no one's happy with Joe Biden.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Republicans aren't, obviously, but neither are the Democrats, apparently, based
- 24:14Speaker 1: on what we're seeing. The Associated Press and the NORC
- 24:20Speaker 1: Center for Public Affairs Research carried out the polling and
- 24:24Speaker 1: they released these numbers this morning. They came out ahead
- 24:29Speaker 1: of Biden's return from his visit from Japan for the
- 24:33Speaker 1: annual G seven summit, where Russia's invasion of Ukraine was
- 24:37Speaker 1: obviously the front and center issue for the president rather
- 24:40Speaker 1: than the domestic issues that are dealing that we should
- 24:44Speaker 1: be dealing with here in America. Some voters even feel
- 24:47Speaker 1: Biden should face impeachment proceedings based on the new polling.
- 24:55Speaker 1: The AP reports the results show Biden is up against
- 24:58Speaker 1: strong headwinds even before he steps up to make a
- 25:01Speaker 1: single announcement asking Americans to vote for him to return
- 25:06Speaker 1: to the White House for another four years. The Associated
- 25:10Speaker 1: Press put it this way, public approval of Biden's handling
- 25:14Speaker 1: of the economy remains extremely low in a time of
- 25:18Speaker 1: high inflation, a difficult housing market, and concerns about a
- 25:22Speaker 1: potential US government debt default. American opinion is also gloomy
- 25:27Speaker 1: about President Biden's efforts on gun policy and immigration, with
- 25:33Speaker 1: only thirty one percent of Americans saying they approve of
- 25:36Speaker 1: the president's performance on those hot button issues. Overall, just
- 25:43Speaker 1: forty percent of Americans say they approve of the way
- 25:45Speaker 1: Biden is doing his job, similar to where his approval
- 25:49Speaker 1: reading had stood for much of the past year and
- 25:51Speaker 1: a half. On further worry for Biden is that he
- 25:55Speaker 1: underperforms on the most important issue, the economy, even among Democrats.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Sixty one percent approve of him on the issue, compared
- 26:06Speaker 1: to seventy five percent for his job overall, meaning there
- 26:11Speaker 1: is a significant difference in how Democrats look at him.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Despite Democrats feeling less and enthusiastic about the economy on
- 26:19Speaker 1: Biden's watch, they continue to be more likely than Republicans
- 26:23Speaker 1: to say the country is heading in the right direction
- 26:26Speaker 1: thirty six percent versus seven percent, So only thirty six
- 26:30Speaker 1: percent of Democrats say we're heading the right direction. Just
- 26:33Speaker 1: to put this in perspective or to rate the economy
- 26:37Speaker 1: is good. Just forty one percent of Democrats rated the
- 26:41Speaker 1: economy as quote good for doing well again another major problem. Biden,
- 26:50Speaker 1: by the way, will resume negotiations on the troubled debt
- 26:54Speaker 1: ceiling with how Speaker Kevin MacCarthy were being told today
- 26:59Speaker 1: that is the June default deadline nears. It's another critical
- 27:02Speaker 1: test for this administration. UPI also reported this morning that
- 27:07Speaker 1: McCarthy said he spoke with the President Sunday to schedule
- 27:11Speaker 1: the meeting, saying I just got the phone with the
- 27:14Speaker 1: President while he was out of the country. McCarthy tweeted,
- 27:16Speaker 1: my position has not changed. Washington cannot continue to spend
- 27:20Speaker 1: money we don't have at the expense of children and grandchildren. Tomorrow,
- 27:24Speaker 1: he and I will meet in person to continue the negotiations. Meanwhile,
- 27:30Speaker 1: the Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen reaffirmed June is a hard
- 27:36Speaker 1: deadline for the government to raise the debt ceiling and
- 27:38Speaker 1: avoid default. And the Associated press trying to tamp down
- 27:43Speaker 1: these bad and staggering poll numbers for the President by saying, well,
- 27:49Speaker 1: he's not the only one that ted bad poll numbers.
- 27:51Speaker 1: You can go back and look at different people that
- 27:53Speaker 1: have had bad poll numbers and did just fine, including
- 27:57Speaker 1: they described as Bill Clinton. I think we can agree
- 28:01Speaker 1: that Bill Clinton and the economy was good, not as
- 28:04Speaker 1: bad as it is now under Biden. So it is
- 28:06Speaker 1: a very different scenario, probably a better way of putting
- 28:11Speaker 1: it all right. Lastly, please make sure you hit that
