  Speaker 1: lot of stuff on there. Um that's really really interesting

  Speaker 1: promotion mode. Right, you know, that's what you do with

  Speaker 1: your fraternity brothers, you know, absolutely get the word out

  Speaker 1: that get the word out that Omega Fi five fraternity
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: they incorporated found the Nights Route. Did the queue now
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: talk about HBCUs. The role of HBCUs. Your graduate of HBCU,

  Speaker 1: talk about the importance of HBCUs in your life. Yeah, man,

  Speaker 1: you know, supporting our HBCUs is really really important. Man.

  Speaker 1: To see all of these people that have died and
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: made the ultimate sacrifice to build these universities. You know.
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: I went and stood on the grades. I was standing
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: in between the graves of George Washington Carver in Book
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: of t Washington. And when I looked across the campus
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: of Tuskegeon saw kids walking to school, and I broke
• 7:00
  Speaker 1: down and cried. I broke down. I literally broke down
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: and cried to see these educated black men during times
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: of slavery to have to put together a university called
• 7:13
  Speaker 1: Tuskegee Institute. And I and it was almost like I
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: wanted to follow my knee, you know, because I felt
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: like I was on holy ground for somebody to do
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: something like that and make us who hey, you know, Recie,
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: I get choked up when I talked about it, because
• 7:31
  Speaker 1: because if you think about think about where people went
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: through back then, just where our kids and for years
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: and years and years for everybody to have what they
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: have and for the sacrifices that people made to put
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: together these wonderful institutions like more House and Spellmen in
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: Alabama State Alabama and them Grambling UH University is to
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: educate Postman, because I promise you you don't get the
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: same treatment. You know, when you go to other go
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: to the university, you get the police called on your
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: while sleeping in the dorm and and all of the stuff.
• 8:07
  Speaker 1: And you just a number when you go to these
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: other schools. But but man, you know, all of these
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: wonderful people that have put together and organized for us
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: to have universities to attend. It is life changing. And
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: and I just get emotionally when I talk about it,
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: because man, if you ain't never been to a commencement
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: exercise or a football game or basketball game at of
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: h b c U, it's part of your DNA is
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: who you are as a human being, and it just
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: I help you. I just identify and make you so
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: proud to be black, you know. And I just appreciate man,
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: and honor in memory of people like bookat Washington and
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: and all of these people and our founders that found
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: it out great fraternities and sororities and and and and there.
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: What they had to do with nothing and no resources
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: and made all these wonderful things happening for us to
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: carry that legacy, I take it serious. And thank you
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: for asking me that. You know, I really got to
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: get emotional, because you know, Chi, I can't even tell
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: you know how I felt when I stood on on
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: their grave, the Book of two Washington. It meant a
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: lot to me, you know, and uh, you know, I
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: had tears coming down in my eyes. Man. And then
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: when you just look acy these kids with their headphones on,
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: with the backpacks walking to class, and and and and
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: and that's why I believe in voting. I believe in
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: getting out doing the right thing, trying to help people,
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: educate people, love people, feed people, encourage people, not make
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: everything about me, and to get out and be a
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: part of that legacy as where you know, it's cool
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: being a comedian and being on tour and doing all
• 9:51
  Speaker 1: this stuff, but I used that platform to do good,

  Speaker 1: to continue to educate and love and motivate and and

  Speaker 1: and love all of this stuff. So you know, uh,

  Speaker 1: I don't know, man, that was suppsed to be talking

  Speaker 1: about this show man, But boy, thank you for asking

  Speaker 1: that that's that's as your popularity is that you're willing

  Speaker 1: to show your emotions. You willing to let people know

  Speaker 1: your passion and let people understand that. Okay, you use

  Speaker 1: meet coach Paul bear Bryant in the Football Player. That

  Speaker 1: was where I went to my first stepisode. That's what

  Speaker 1: happened to be on that campus. And I love Alabama
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: football team. I'm a big fan and it represents our state.

  Speaker 1: I played football myself. So when it comes to the
