- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Center, Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you and Center. We've got a lot to talk
- 0:06Speaker 1: about tonight. But everyone seems to really be talking about
- 0:10Speaker 1: these drones in New Jersey as we're doing the show.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I'm in New York City. Everywhere I went today people
- 0:17Speaker 1: were talking about these drones. People were showing me videos
- 0:19Speaker 1: on their phone when I was at Fox. They're concerned
- 0:22Speaker 1: about it. And there's a bigger issue, and that's lack
- 0:24Speaker 1: of people having trust in our government right now.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Well, that's exactly right. People are talking about the drones
- 0:31Speaker 2: that are being seen up and down the East Coast.
- 0:33Speaker 2: We're going to break that down, tell you what we
- 0:36Speaker 2: know about that, and tell you what it says about
- 0:38Speaker 2: the state of trust in government and the media right now. Today,
- 0:42Speaker 2: we also have a story that just broke of gang
- 0:46Speaker 2: members arrested in Aurora, Colorado. You know, the media told
- 0:50Speaker 2: us this was not a problem, that were not Venezuelan
- 0:53Speaker 2: gang members there. Well it turns out they are. They
- 0:55Speaker 2: engage in a home invasion. We're going to break that
- 0:58Speaker 2: down as well. And finally, a new survey that that
- 1:02Speaker 2: really is going to shock you. It's a survey of
- 1:05Speaker 2: young people that found a very significant percentage of young
- 1:10Speaker 2: people find the murder of the healthcare CEO acceptable. It
- 1:15Speaker 2: is truly stunning the consequence of the ideological brainstorming of
- 1:19Speaker 2: our young people. We're going to lay those numbers out
- 1:21Speaker 2: as well.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just shocking and sad to see these the
- 1:26Speaker 1: data you just mentioned. I want to tell you real
- 1:29Speaker 1: quick about Patriot Mobile. If you have a cell phone,
- 1:31Speaker 1: and your cell phone is a big mobile, then you
- 1:34Speaker 1: need to know that your money is working against you
- 1:36Speaker 1: when you pay your bill. They give big donations to
- 1:38Speaker 1: democratic causes, candidates and radical organizations, organizations that advocate for
- 1:44Speaker 1: defunding the police, for example, and organizations that pay for
- 1:47Speaker 1: abortions on demand. Well, if you're like me and you
- 1:50Speaker 1: don't want your money going against your family values, then
- 1:54Speaker 1: you can switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile was started
- 1:57Speaker 1: by a group of patriots that found out what I
- 1:59Speaker 1: just told you, and they said, we got to have
- 2:00Speaker 1: an alternative, and over a decade ago they started Patriot Mobile. Now,
- 2:04Speaker 1: when you use Patriot Mobile, you're gonna get the same
- 2:07Speaker 1: exact coverage that you are used to right now, because
- 2:10Speaker 1: in twenty twenty four, everybody uses the same Big three networks,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you use the same towers that you're on right now.
- 2:16Speaker 1: They also have a coverage guarantee to give you peace
- 2:19Speaker 1: of mind. And then here is the best part. They
- 2:22Speaker 1: actually take about five percent of your bill every month
- 2:25Speaker 1: at no additional costs to you, and they give it
- 2:27Speaker 1: back to organizations that stand on the front lines fighting
- 2:31Speaker 1: for our First and our Second Amendment rights, fighting for
- 2:34Speaker 1: the sancety of life, and standing with our military, our
- 2:38Speaker 1: first responders and are wounded war your heroes. So if
- 2:41Speaker 1: you want to take a stand for conservative causes and
- 2:43Speaker 1: put America first, switch to Patriot Mobile today. You'll get
- 2:47Speaker 1: to keep your same number you have right now, and
- 2:49Speaker 1: you can keep your same phone or upgrade to a
- 2:52Speaker 1: new one. They have one hundred percent US based customer
- 2:54Speaker 1: service team. They'll find the best plan to save you
- 2:56Speaker 1: money as well. Go to Patriotmobile dot comlash verdict, Patriot
- 3:02Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash verdict, or call them nine seven
- 3:05Speaker 1: to two Patriot and I'm gonna give you a free
- 3:08Speaker 1: month when you use the offer code Verdict Patriotmobile dot
- 3:13Speaker 1: com slash verdict or nine seven to two Patriot for
- 3:16Speaker 1: that free month of service today, All right, So everyone's
- 3:19Speaker 1: talking center about these drones, and like there's a lot
- 3:22Speaker 1: people are saying, is it a UFO, is it? Is
- 3:25Speaker 1: it foreign governments spying on us? There's a bigger conversation
- 3:30Speaker 1: that I think we need to have, and that is
- 3:33Speaker 1: I am genuinely worried now that there are so many
- 3:37Speaker 1: Americans that have no trust in the US government. They
- 3:40Speaker 1: have no trust in our in our agencies like the
- 3:43Speaker 1: FBI or the CIA or the Department of Homeland Security
- 3:46Speaker 1: because they've been lied to, whether it's on COVID or
- 3:49Speaker 1: whether it's on us having a secure border like my
- 3:51Speaker 1: orcs said over and over again, or a lying to
- 3:53Speaker 1: us about saying tarists are not coming across the southern
- 3:55Speaker 1: border when there's people on the Terrace watch list. And
- 3:58Speaker 1: so now with this drone thing, there's a genuine concern
- 4:02Speaker 1: and paranoia that when the government comes out and says, hey,
- 4:04Speaker 1: everything's okay, everybody says, why would I believe you?
- 4:09Speaker 2: Look, that's a fair question, and I'm going to start
- 4:13Speaker 2: with I've been in the US Senate twelve years. I
- 4:17Speaker 2: have the top level classified clearance, I have classified briefings regularly,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and I'm here to tell you I have no friggin
- 4:25Speaker 2: idea what's up in the sky. It actually as frustrating
- 4:29Speaker 2: as all get out. So I'm going to walk you
- 4:31Speaker 2: through some of the data points. I'm going to walk
- 4:32Speaker 2: you through what I've been told and where the American
- 4:36Speaker 2: people are. First of all, we're getting reports all up
- 4:39Speaker 2: and down the Eastern Seaboard about people seeing strange things
- 4:42Speaker 2: in the sky. For example, Governor Larry Hogan, former governor Maryland,
- 4:46Speaker 2: he tweeted out the following quote. Last night, beginning at
- 4:50Speaker 2: around nine to forty five pm, I personally witnessed and
- 4:53Speaker 2: videoed what appeared to be dozens of large drones in
- 4:56Speaker 2: the sky above my residence in Davidsonville, Maryland, five miles
- 5:00Speaker 2: from our nation's capital. I observe the activity for approximately
- 5:04Speaker 2: forty five minutes. Like many of observed these drones, I
- 5:08Speaker 2: do not know if the increasing activity over our skies
- 5:11Speaker 2: is a threat to public safety or national security, but
- 5:14Speaker 2: the public is growing increasingly concerned and frustrated with a
- 5:17Speaker 2: complete lack of transparency and the dismissive attitude of the
- 5:21Speaker 2: federal government. The government has the ability to track these
- 5:24Speaker 2: from their point of origin, but has mounted a negligent
- 5:28Speaker 2: response people are rightfully clamoring for answers, but aren't getting any.
- 5:33Speaker 2: We are being told that neither of the White House,
- 5:35Speaker 2: the military, the FBI, or Homeland Security have any idea
- 5:39Speaker 2: what they are, where they're coming from, or who has
- 5:42Speaker 2: launched or is controlling them, and that they pose no threat.
- 5:48Speaker 2: That response is entirely unacceptable. I join with the growing
- 5:52Speaker 2: bipartisan chorus of leaders demanding that the federal government immediately
- 5:55Speaker 2: address this issue. The American people deserve answers and action now.
- 6:02Speaker 2: So that's one data point. Look, Larry Hogan is a
- 6:07Speaker 2: serious and credible observer. He's reporting what he's seeing.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Now.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Here's another another tweet. This is from Congressman Tom Keene
- 6:15Speaker 2: in New Jersey. Quote, We here in New Jersey are
- 6:19Speaker 2: at our wits end with the complete absence of answers
- 6:23Speaker 2: on drone activity over our neighborhoods. The federal government should
- 6:27Speaker 2: either explain if these are our government's assets in practice,
- 6:31Speaker 2: or if these are truly unknown flights, responsibly remove one
- 6:36Speaker 2: from the sky for examination. Either option would lead us
- 6:41Speaker 2: to an answer, and the public is rightfully demanding closure here.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Nothing about what is occurring is acceptable. Governor Murphy and
- 6:51Speaker 2: President Biden need to step up right now. So that's
- 6:56Speaker 2: two data points. Now, I got to say. I asked
- 6:59Speaker 2: my staff, the incoming chair of the Senate Commerce Committee.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The Senate Commerce Committee, among other things, has jurisdiction or
- 7:05Speaker 2: the FAA. I asked my team find out from the
- 7:08Speaker 2: FAA what the hell these are. Staff had a briefing
- 7:11Speaker 2: with the FAA and the FBI and other agencies, and
- 7:16Speaker 2: what we were told is there's no evidence that they're drones.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But they have been able to verify that what people
- 7:23Speaker 2: see are man deviation because there are flight plans and
- 7:29Speaker 2: I've heard different people say one staffer is speculated. Quote
- 7:34Speaker 2: the ones in New Jersey or airplanes, the ones that
- 7:37Speaker 2: Hogan saw are stars. The reason they all look small
- 7:40Speaker 2: is because is not because they're drones, but because they're
- 7:43Speaker 2: far away. Now, I don't have any freaking clue. I
- 7:47Speaker 2: don't know what the truth is or what the falsity is.
- 7:51Speaker 2: And listen, at the end of the day in the Senate,
- 7:54Speaker 2: I don't have control of satellites. I don't have the
- 7:57Speaker 2: information to assess what is accurate or not. But why
- 8:00Speaker 2: is the federal government not directly answering this. You're right,
- 8:04Speaker 2: everybody is asking this and their whole variety of theories.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Some people are saying, you know what, it's UFOs, it's
- 8:10Speaker 2: little green men in the sky above New Jersey. Now,
- 8:15Speaker 2: as much as I'd love to make a headline by
- 8:17Speaker 2: saying I can guarantee you, I can prove to you
- 8:19Speaker 2: right now it is space aliens above New Jersey, I
- 8:23Speaker 2: do not, in fact have that information. Now I can't
- 8:26Speaker 2: tell you it's not space aliens above New Jersey. I
- 8:30Speaker 2: don't know. But the question you asked at the outset, Ben,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I think is really very interesting, the number of Americans
- 8:40Speaker 2: who don't believe a damn thing they're being told. Why,
- 8:44Speaker 2: Because the government, especially with the Biden administration, has demonstrated
- 8:48Speaker 2: they're willing to lie over and over and over again.
- 8:52Speaker 2: You remember the Chinese spy balloon. Government didn't let anyone
- 8:57Speaker 2: know about.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That, shut it down to it. Yeah, and they didn't
- 9:00Speaker 1: shoot it down until after it had completed what you
- 9:02Speaker 1: would describe as a mission.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And remember look, the first government spy balloon we knew about.
- 9:09Speaker 2: People up in Montana spotted it and said, hey, what
- 9:11Speaker 2: the hell is that thing in the sky. And then
- 9:14Speaker 2: the Biden administration reluctantly said, oh, yeah, this is spy
- 9:17Speaker 2: balloons from China. And by the way, we've had a
- 9:20Speaker 2: bunch of them before we knew about them, we didn't
- 9:23Speaker 2: do anything about them. We let them fly over America.
- 9:26Speaker 2: We let them fly over a military basis, We let
- 9:28Speaker 2: them spy on America, and we didn't tell you. And
- 9:31Speaker 2: it wasn't until some citizens spotted it that we were caught.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And then even after that, even after it was public,
- 9:38Speaker 2: this is a Chinese spy balloon. It is being maneuvered
- 9:42Speaker 2: to fly directly over a military bases to engage in surveillance.
- 9:46Speaker 2: The Biden administration decided to let that Chinese spy balloon
- 9:49Speaker 2: fly over the entire continental United States, from Alaska all
- 9:52Speaker 2: the way across the country, and they finally shot it
- 9:54Speaker 2: down over the Atlantic Ocean. So all of us experience
- 10:00Speaker 2: that when strange things were flying in the sky and
- 10:03Speaker 2: the Biden administration knew what they were, they refuse to
- 10:07Speaker 2: tell us. So so I don't think people are being
- 10:10Speaker 2: unreasonable when you're getting lots of reports of people looking
- 10:12Speaker 2: up seeing strange things in the sky, figuring, you know what,
- 10:17Speaker 2: the Biden administration knows what these are, and they're not
- 10:20Speaker 2: telling us. I've heard people speculate it's the military, it's experiments.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I have no idea, but I'm frustrated that when I ask,
- 10:28Speaker 2: I don't get an answer. I will say this, and
- 10:32Speaker 2: I do think this is a responsible thing to say.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Ordinary citizens should not shoot them down if they are
- 10:38Speaker 2: in fact manned aircraft. We don't want someone in a
- 10:41Speaker 2: helicap copter getting shot down. So don't shoot at the
- 10:44Speaker 2: thing flying above you if you see something flying above you,
- 10:47Speaker 2: because you don't want to. You don't want to kill someone.
- 10:50Speaker 2: You don't want to knock it down and have it
- 10:51Speaker 2: crashed down and injure or kill your neighbor. But I
- 10:56Speaker 2: will say that there is a real need for for trendency.
- 11:01Speaker 2: And it says an enormous amount that the level of
- 11:06Speaker 2: distrust is so deep. And it's because we've seen this
- 11:10Speaker 2: administration lie to the American people over and over and
- 11:13Speaker 2: over again and expect them to believe the lies.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Here's another question, and you mentioned classified briefing, So if
- 11:22Speaker 1: you'll explain kind of how this works, because there was
- 11:26Speaker 1: a briefing to the media today and the briefing was,
- 11:30Speaker 1: or the statement that came out from the US government.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It was kind of like a KUMBAII universal statement from
- 11:35Speaker 1: a lot of agencies under the Biden administration that this
- 11:38Speaker 1: is not a threat from some adversary around the world.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Everybody calmed down, and then there were some House members
- 11:46Speaker 1: that got it classified briefing, And immediately the question was
- 11:49Speaker 1: asked by the media, is, well, if there's no threat here,
- 11:54Speaker 1: why was it a classified briefing? If you're saying that
- 11:57Speaker 1: this isn't US and it's not an adversary, So it
- 12:01Speaker 1: is that a bunch to do about nothing? Or explain
- 12:04Speaker 1: your thoughts on that and and and why it would
- 12:06Speaker 1: have been done in a classified setting.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Possibly, Well, listen, and we've talked about this on on
- 12:11Speaker 2: Verdict previously. Some time ago. Uh, there was a classified
- 12:15Speaker 2: briefing on potential UFO sightings and I was really interested.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, I want to know this. I went
- 12:20Speaker 2: down and I read the folder. I got to tell you, Ben,
- 12:24Speaker 2: it was the most underwhelming thing I've ever seen, Like, like,
- 12:28Speaker 2: if I wanted to reveal a classified secret about it,
- 12:31Speaker 2: I couldn't because the whole thing said some people saw
- 12:33Speaker 2: some stuff, they didn't know what it was. Like that's it,
- 12:36Speaker 2: Like there's a bunch of pages of I don't know.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Some people said, so look, look, look up in the sky.
- 12:41Speaker 2: It's it's a bird, it's a it's a plane, it's
- 12:44Speaker 2: a dog. That, by the way, for people old enough
- 12:47Speaker 2: to remember, is the opening of Underdog. Uh which which
- 12:50Speaker 2: were you old enough to watch Underdog as a kid?
- 12:52Speaker 3: Ben?
- 12:53Speaker 1: I was not.
- 12:54Speaker 4: No.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I actually think this is the band.
- 12:57Speaker 1: List, this is the you're showing glaring right now.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So they're looking up in the sky. They go, it's
- 13:05Speaker 2: a bird, it's a plane. It's a frog. A frog,
- 13:09Speaker 2: not bird, nor plane, nor even frog. Just little old
- 13:12Speaker 2: me Underdog. And it was the opening of a dog
- 13:16Speaker 2: that would fly through the air like Superman. That's what
- 13:19Speaker 2: when I was a little kid, the cartoon I watch.
- 13:21Speaker 2: But to be honest, the classified briefing did not tell
- 13:25Speaker 2: you anything more than the opening cartoon from Underdog. So
- 13:32Speaker 2: why do they do classified briefings that don't say anything.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I don't know. Often the administration does it. I think
- 13:40Speaker 2: it is in part a sense that they don't owe
- 13:42Speaker 2: the American public leveling with them. I see all the time.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And this is something actually both Republican and Democrat administrations do,
- 13:50Speaker 2: but the Biden administration is particularly bad about it. They'll
- 13:53Speaker 2: classify a briefing just because they don't want to talk
- 13:55Speaker 2: about a topic, or because they think it's politically embarrassing,
- 13:59Speaker 2: not because looks are proper, properly classified. If it's so happened,
- 14:04Speaker 2: uh that it was a spy satellite from from the
- 14:08Speaker 2: American government, you would want to classify that. We don't.
- 14:11Speaker 2: We're not in the business of telling people about our
- 14:13Speaker 2: spy satellites. Since I have I have not attended a
- 14:16Speaker 2: classified briefing on the drones. I have no idea if
- 14:18Speaker 2: it's that or not. People have speculated that, but I
- 14:21Speaker 2: have no information one way or the other. What I
- 14:25Speaker 2: would just say is, at this point, so many people
- 14:29Speaker 2: have reported seeing this, including credible serious people, that I
- 14:35Speaker 2: think the federal government owes the American people just some
- 14:38Speaker 2: level of leveling. Hey, here's what you're seeing, here's what's
- 14:42Speaker 2: going on. You know, it's it's a flight test for this,
- 14:46Speaker 2: it's that, or what what whatever it is. And and
- 14:49Speaker 2: the fact that that that the people are basically told
- 14:53Speaker 2: what you're worried about doesn't count. I mean, listen, you
- 14:55Speaker 2: said you're you're in New York City right now. You
- 14:57Speaker 2: said people were talking about all day long that that's
- 15:00Speaker 2: everywhere quest to me. Yeah, the government ought to frigid
- 15:04Speaker 2: answer it, and they won't tell members of the Senate.
- 15:07Speaker 2: So if they won't tell me that, they don't view
- 15:10Speaker 2: it that they owe anything to Congress, they don't view
- 15:12Speaker 2: it that they owe anything to the American people. And
- 15:15Speaker 2: no wonder so many Americans fundamentally distrust our government when
- 15:20Speaker 2: you don't have the government leveling with you and just
- 15:23Speaker 2: telling you the basic facts, and by the way, just
- 15:25Speaker 2: saying it's nothing to worry about, Well, that's not comforting.
- 15:29Speaker 2: They said the same thing with the Chinese spy balloon,
- 15:32Speaker 2: which they never would have told us about if it
- 15:35Speaker 2: were not for people who spotted it with telescopes and binoculars.
- 15:39Speaker 2: And to be clear, by the way, they finally admitted
- 15:42Speaker 2: there had been multiple Chinese sky balloons before that. They
- 15:45Speaker 2: never told Congress that. They never told me that, not
- 15:48Speaker 2: once until the public spotted it. And so when you
- 15:51Speaker 2: have a long pattern of lack of candor with the
- 15:55Speaker 2: American people, it's unsurprising the American people are deeply distrustful.
- 16:00Speaker 2: And that's that's not a healthy thing.
- 16:02Speaker 1: No, And let's talk about two other aspects. Of this
- 16:05Speaker 1: and it deals with national security. You and I several
- 16:08Speaker 1: months ago talked about the number of drone incursions that
- 16:12Speaker 1: were happening at the southern border and how the cartels
- 16:15Speaker 1: down there are using an incredible number of drones to
- 16:19Speaker 1: basically spy on us, whether.
- 16:22Speaker 2: It's Hens of South Servins.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Right, there's like thirty thousand incursions in this certain time
- 16:28Speaker 1: period that we talked about, my memory is correct. And
- 16:31Speaker 1: yet they're using them for intelligence to see where we're
- 16:35Speaker 1: moving and how we're trying to protect our border, to
- 16:38Speaker 1: human smuggle, sex trafficking, fetnyl drugs, all of it. Put
- 16:43Speaker 1: it all together, and that's it. Then we have a
- 16:47Speaker 1: second now aspect of drones, and it's what we're witnessing
- 16:50Speaker 1: in the Middle East. We are seeing drones that are
- 16:53Speaker 1: being used to attack in the Middle East. We've seen
- 16:55Speaker 1: drones that have been used in the war between Russia
- 16:57Speaker 1: and Ukraine at a level that I think five ten
- 17:01Speaker 1: years ago no one could have imagined. And then we
- 17:04Speaker 1: had a drone expert on TV who was asked a
- 17:07Speaker 1: couple of different things, one about shooting down drones, but
- 17:10Speaker 1: two does our government have what it takes to take
- 17:14Speaker 1: out hardened drones, drones that may actually be used by adversaries,
- 17:19Speaker 1: whether it's terrorists or other countries. And Scott Jenning absters
- 17:23Speaker 1: him the question about hey, like, if you've got a
- 17:24Speaker 1: drone over your house, can you shoot this thing down?
- 17:28Speaker 1: And here's what he had to say. It's very interesting
- 17:30Speaker 1: some of these constraptions by my house.
- 17:33Speaker 3: But I am not a counter I wrote this down
- 17:35Speaker 3: a counter drone expert. You got the coodest job I
- 17:38Speaker 3: have ever known about it.
- 17:39Speaker 5: I have a question, can you shoot these things down?
- 17:42Speaker 6: So let me answer that a man who got a gun.
- 17:44Speaker 5: No, but go ahead, sorrd Yeah. Legally no, they're treated
- 17:46Speaker 5: the same a shooting down aircraft which would carry even
- 17:49Speaker 5: a smaller and even your own.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Interesting and shoot your own I'm just saying it wasn't
- 17:55Speaker 6: the law hypothetically speaking, would it be dangerous to shoot?
- 18:00Speaker 5: Still a terrible idea for a normal civilian to attempt
- 18:02Speaker 5: to shoot.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Then show us these these two that are closest to you,
- 18:06Speaker 6: because these two have been through some things.
- 18:09Speaker 5: What happened to these drones? So these drones were taken
- 18:11Speaker 5: out of the sky. The way that we test that
- 18:13Speaker 5: is in special facilities. We're a kind of drone company.
- 18:15Speaker 5: We build auto amiing firearms to actually take them down
- 18:18Speaker 5: with bullets.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Uh.
- 18:19Speaker 5: The common method for drones to be taken out of
- 18:22Speaker 5: the sky via law enforcement in agencies is with electromagnetic
- 18:25Speaker 5: weapons like jammers and spoofers and microwaves. But they don't
- 18:27Speaker 5: work against drones that are hardened. And that I think
- 18:29Speaker 5: is a really scary undertone to this whole drone mystery
- 18:32Speaker 5: is that we lack the kinetic responses necessary with our
- 18:35Speaker 5: law enforcement in federal agencies. So the DD does maintain
- 18:38Speaker 5: that we said.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Drones that are hardened, meaning that they are made to
- 18:41Speaker 3: not be taken out.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Of the story.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Yeah, And it's a very simple thing to do, like microwaves,
- 18:45Speaker 5: to harden a drone for microwaves, find it is a
- 18:47Speaker 5: copper tation.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Should be a drone that size?
- 18:49Speaker 6: Could you put a weapon on.
- 18:50Speaker 5: That you could put you could carry a couple of
- 18:53Speaker 5: pounds a weapon being explosives? Absolutely wow, So I mean
- 18:56Speaker 5: that's not big at all.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Could you hear it coming?
- 18:58Speaker 3: Is it lowed?
- 18:59Speaker 5: They're pretty loud, but you don't know where it's coming from.
- 19:01Speaker 5: It's actually a pretty terrifying experience.
- 19:03Speaker 4: See that's why it's all these people I mean are.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Hearing I mean well over the weekend.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I mean if you just stop there. What my big
- 19:10Speaker 1: concern is now center is we are seeing drones use
- 19:13Speaker 1: them Middle Least, we are seeing terrorists use them. We're
- 19:15Speaker 1: seeing the cartels use them. We're seeing all these up.
- 19:18Speaker 1: We don't have any answers. And then this drone expert
- 19:20Speaker 1: is saying, quote, we lack the kinetic response from law
- 19:23Speaker 1: enforcement to combat hardened drones that could be used against
- 19:28Speaker 1: anyone anywhere in the country.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, I've been down on the southern border where
- 19:33Speaker 2: border patrol on boats on the Rio Grande River that
- 19:37Speaker 2: they will use guns to take down drones from the cartels.
- 19:42Speaker 2: But an ordinary citizen can't do that. And the problem
- 19:45Speaker 2: is you maybe can do that with one or two,
- 19:48Speaker 2: but you can't do that with a thousand. You can't
- 19:50Speaker 2: do that with five thousand, or ten thousand, or twenty
- 19:52Speaker 2: thousand or thirty thousand. And I will say that that's
- 19:55Speaker 2: one of the dangers of the directions warfare is going,
- 19:58Speaker 2: is that we're seeing more and more or synchronized drones
- 20:02Speaker 2: being used in warfare, drones being used for surveillance, and
- 20:05Speaker 2: the danger of hardened or weaponized drones is real and significant.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Then let me be clear. I want to reiterate, I
- 20:12Speaker 2: have no evidence that these are drones that are over
- 20:16Speaker 2: the Eastern seaboard. But the Biden administration is doing nothing
- 20:21Speaker 2: to assuage people's fears. They're not leveling with the American people.
- 20:26Speaker 2: They're telling them just hey, don't worry about it, nothing
- 20:28Speaker 2: to see here, and based on their past pattern of lying,
- 20:34Speaker 2: that does not inspire confidence.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Final question on this, John Kirby came out and said
- 20:40Speaker 1: this about the drones, trying to, I guess, make people
- 20:43Speaker 1: feel better. It didn't make me feel better, but he
- 20:46Speaker 1: said fellow authorities are now investigating one hundred tips on
- 20:50Speaker 1: drone activity. Here's what the White House National Security Communications
- 20:55Speaker 1: Advisor said.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Well, I would repeat what we've said yesterday and last
- 20:59Speaker 4: night in a multiple agency statement that we have taken
- 21:03Speaker 4: a serious look at this. We have gone through five
- 21:06Speaker 4: thousand some odd sightings, we have added detection capabilities to
- 21:09Speaker 4: the region, We've even sent up visual observers, and everything
- 21:15Speaker 4: we're seeing to date, our assessment tells us that these
- 21:18Speaker 4: are commercial drones, hobbyist drones, or law enforcement drones, all
- 21:22Speaker 4: operating legally and.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Lawfully, nothing to worry about. Everything's fine. I just think
- 21:28Speaker 1: this goes back to that issue we talked about the
- 21:30Speaker 1: very beginning to bring it back full circle. Any why
- 21:33Speaker 1: would anybody believe him even if he is saying spot
- 21:36Speaker 1: on it's true when there's so many unanswered questions.
- 21:39Speaker 2: And by the way, that's completely different from what the
- 21:42Speaker 2: FA and the FBI briefed my staff where they said
- 21:45Speaker 2: they were manned aircraft. So now John Kirby is standing
- 21:47Speaker 2: up saying their drones, which is it? Like what is
- 21:50Speaker 2: When you have multiple and conflicting answers, people naturally distrust them,
- 21:55Speaker 2: and it's why you get lots and lots of conspiracy theories.
- 22:00Speaker 2: But part of the problem with conspiracy theories is everything
- 22:03Speaker 2: we're told is a conspiracy. Six months later, proove's true.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Speaking of conspiracy theories, at six months ago, they said
- 22:10Speaker 1: we're not real, or five months or four months or
- 22:12Speaker 1: three months, even two months ago, and then it becomes real.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That brings me to the second big topic that we
- 22:18Speaker 1: mentioned earlier, and let's go back to Colorado. Let's go
- 22:23Speaker 1: back to what the White House and the media said.
- 22:26Speaker 1: They said that it was not happening, that there were
- 22:29Speaker 1: not gangs that had been taking over apartment complexes and
- 22:36Speaker 1: running these criminal gangs out of them in Aurora, Colorado.
- 22:39Speaker 1: They said this was a lie, that it wasn't true.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Then they said, well, it's only happening in a couple
- 22:46Speaker 1: of them, not that many, so it's not a big deal.
- 22:49Speaker 1: They changed their story again, and now we were right
- 22:53Speaker 1: all along a legal alien invasion in Colorado. Number one
- 22:56Speaker 1: is real and number two, you have fourteen detained in Aurora,
- 23:00Speaker 1: Colorado in a horrific home invasion that are likely illegal
- 23:05Speaker 1: gang members. Police are now staying saying when individuals were
- 23:09Speaker 1: not only taken, but they were tortured. Well.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Martha Radits at ABC dismissed this, said, oh, it's only
- 23:17Speaker 2: a handful of apartment complexes, which with the classic contempt
- 23:22Speaker 2: of the elite left looking down on little people that
- 23:26Speaker 2: live in apartment buildings who are being terrorized. But this
- 23:29Speaker 2: story broke this week, the headline from Fox News fourteen
- 23:32Speaker 2: detained in armed Aurora, Colorado home invasion are likely illegal
- 23:38Speaker 2: gang members. Home invasion occurred at the edge at Lowry apartments,
- 23:42Speaker 2: where viral video showed gang members earlier this year. So
- 23:46Speaker 2: the media tell told us don't believe your lying eyes.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Oddly enough, the same thing they're saying about the drone
- 23:51Speaker 2: sightings of the sky. But here's what Fox reported.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Quote.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Police at Aurora, Colorado say the overnight armed home invasion
- 24:00Speaker 2: at a local apartment complex that resulted in fourteen suspects
- 24:05Speaker 2: being detained was quote, without question, a gang incident. Just
- 24:10Speaker 2: before two thirty am on Tuesday, police were called to
- 24:13Speaker 2: the edge of Lowery apartments for a reported armed home
- 24:18Speaker 2: invasion in which the victims were kidnapped and assaulted, the
- 24:22Speaker 2: Aurora Police said. Aurora Police Department Chief Todd Chamberlain said
- 24:26Speaker 2: during the Tuesday news conference that thirteen to fifteen people,
- 24:31Speaker 2: mostly males with some females, entered an apartment where two
- 24:35Speaker 2: people were inside. Police say the suspects took the migrant
- 24:39Speaker 2: victims to another apartment at the same location, where the
- 24:42Speaker 2: victims were threatened and bound. One of the victims, a man,
- 24:47Speaker 2: sustained a stab wound but is expected to survive. Police
- 24:50Speaker 2: said both of the victims are still at the hospital
- 24:53Speaker 2: for treatment for their injuries. At some point, authority said,
- 24:57Speaker 2: the suspects released the victims, who the called nine one
- 25:01Speaker 2: one quote they were pistol whipped, they were beat they
- 25:06Speaker 2: were mistreated. Chamberlain said, so does that fall in the
- 25:09Speaker 2: category of torture for me? Yeah, it does. That's the
- 25:14Speaker 2: chief of police in Aurora, Colorado. And and he went
- 25:18Speaker 2: on to say, quote, this is without question a gang incident.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I don't know which gang they're affiliated with yet. Chamberlain
- 25:27Speaker 2: said that quote, there is a high assumption that they
- 25:31Speaker 2: may be affiliated with the TDA, the trender Aragua gang,
- 25:35Speaker 2: but he stopped short of declaring which gang in particular
- 25:38Speaker 2: was involved because he could not be certain. At this time,
- 25:42Speaker 2: we were told this wasn't true, and yet it is true.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Well, and let's go back to Martha Raddick because this
- 25:51Speaker 1: was when she was getting into it on the with JD.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Vance on this issue. And I want you to hear
- 25:57Speaker 1: what she had to say. And again, this is goes
- 25:59Speaker 1: back to the lies when people don't trust the media
- 26:02Speaker 1: or the government when they lie.
- 26:03Speaker 6: To us, stop you. The incidents were limited to a
- 26:07Speaker 6: handful of apartment CONFLX apartment complexes, and the mayor said,
- 26:13Speaker 6: our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns a
- 26:18Speaker 6: handful of problems.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Only, Martha, do you hear yourself? Only a handful of
- 26:24Speaker 3: apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs,
- 26:28Speaker 3: and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris's
- 26:31Speaker 3: open border. Americans are so fed up with what's going on,
- 26:35Speaker 3: and they have every right to be.
- 26:37Speaker 1: By the way, if it's your apartment complex, I think
- 26:39Speaker 1: it is a big deal when you have it being
- 26:40Speaker 1: taken over by the government.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Stop lives in opulence. She's a multi millionaire. It's not
- 26:46Speaker 2: her problem. Her home wasn't taken over by Venezuelan gang,
- 26:50Speaker 2: so why should she possibly be concerned? And listen that
- 26:55Speaker 2: liberal contempt for ordinary Americans is a big part of
- 26:59Speaker 2: the reason we saw the overwhelming election results we did
- 27:04Speaker 2: in November.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I want to take just a moment and talk real
- 27:07Speaker 1: quick about IFCJ. The Christmas in Honika season is a
- 27:11Speaker 1: time of hope and peace for many of us, but
- 27:13Speaker 1: for those in Israel facing this ongoing war, it is
- 27:17Speaker 1: a time of fear and uncertainty. The hardships are felt
- 27:20Speaker 1: by everyone, with many people struggling to afford food and
- 27:23Speaker 1: basic necessities now during this holiday season, many living through
- 27:27Speaker 1: the war in the Holy Land are grieving the loss
- 27:29Speaker 1: of loved ones, while also enduring isolation and hunger. We
- 27:33Speaker 1: must not let them feel forgotten by the rest of
- 27:36Speaker 1: the world. And that's why I'm partnering with the International
- 27:39Speaker 1: Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Your special holiday gift to
- 27:43Speaker 1: the Fellowship helps provide a Hanukkah box filled with basic
- 27:47Speaker 1: necessities and essentials to bring nourishment, warmth, and comfort to
- 27:51Speaker 1: someone who is actually in real need right now in Israel.
- 27:55Speaker 1: So get the gift of hope and answered prayers as
- 27:58Speaker 1: holiday season. Go to support IFCJ dot org to donate now,
- 28:04Speaker 1: that's support IFCJ dot org alltogether, or you can call
- 28:08Speaker 1: them at eight eight eight for eight eight IFCJ that's
- 28:14Speaker 1: eighty eight four eight eight four three two five. Finally, Senator,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I want to get to this other issue, and that
- 28:23Speaker 1: is uh, there's a study that has come out. It's
- 28:26Speaker 1: really shocking, and it is one where I guess you
- 28:29Speaker 1: call it a poll that young people in this country
- 28:33Speaker 1: actually are understanding of the assassin in New York City
- 28:39Speaker 1: who killed the healthcare CEO, saying it's almost justifiable that
- 28:44Speaker 1: this is happening to people that work in industries they
- 28:46Speaker 1: don't like.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, this is really stunning. So Emerson College put out
- 28:51Speaker 2: a poll, uh and they polled people's attitudes towards the
- 28:56Speaker 2: Healthcare CEO assassination. Here's what they concluded. Quote, a majority
- 29:00Speaker 2: of voters, sixty eight percent think the actions of the
- 29:04Speaker 2: killer of the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, are unacceptable.
- 29:10Speaker 2: So I want you to pause and think about that.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Only sixty eight percent of Americans think it is unacceptable
- 29:15Speaker 2: to murder someone in cold blood. Seventeen percent find the
- 29:21Speaker 2: actions acceptable murdering someone in cold blood, mind you, while
- 29:26Speaker 2: sixteen percent are unsure. Now, if you break it down
- 29:32Speaker 2: a little more, here's what Emerson College continues. Quote, While
- 29:36Speaker 2: sixty eight percent of voters overall reject the killer's actions,
- 29:40Speaker 2: younger voters and Democrats are more split. Forty one percent
- 29:47Speaker 2: of voters aged eighteen to twenty nine find the killer's
- 29:52Speaker 2: actions acceptable, while forty percent find them unacceptable. So, according
- 29:59Speaker 2: to Emerson College goles, more young people age eighteen to
- 30:02Speaker 2: twenty nine find the cold blooded murder of this CEO
- 30:06Speaker 2: acceptable then find it unacceptable, And it's forty one percent
- 30:10Speaker 2: to forty If you break down that forty one percent,
- 30:13Speaker 2: twenty four percent say it is somewhat acceptable and seventeen
- 30:19Speaker 2: percent say it is completely acceptable. Yes, murder a CEO.
- 30:23Speaker 2: We've been trained like good little Marxists. Shoot them now.
- 30:28Speaker 2: By the way, if you break it down on party lines,
- 30:31Speaker 2: twenty two percent of Democrats find them acceptable, while fifty
- 30:38Speaker 2: nine percent find them unacceptable. So over a fifth of
- 30:42Speaker 2: Democrats think it's perfectly fine to murder a CEO, to
- 30:47Speaker 2: murder a man in cold blood, to shoot him in
- 30:49Speaker 2: the back. And the comparison among Republicans, twelve percent of
- 30:54Speaker 2: Republicans find the actions acceptable and sixteen percent of independence
- 31:00Speaker 2: find the actions acceptable. I got to say, a look
- 31:04Speaker 2: of all of those polls, the one that is the
- 31:06Speaker 2: most horrifying is forty one percent of young people find
- 31:10Speaker 2: the killer's actions acceptable and only forty percent find them unacceptable.
- 31:15Speaker 2: So a plurality of young people say, hey, no problem,
- 31:19Speaker 2: murder someone who's a CEO. That is as stunning an
- 31:25Speaker 2: indictment of the brainwashing that young people are receiving in school,
- 31:29Speaker 2: in K through twelve, education in colleges and universities and
- 31:33Speaker 2: through the media as anything I've ever seen.
- 31:36Speaker 1: It is then indoctrination. And it's also I think the
- 31:39Speaker 1: radical left taking over education where and they're normalizing it.
- 31:43Speaker 1: It's what you and I talked about on this podcast
- 31:45Speaker 1: a couple of days ago. The left has normalized the
- 31:48Speaker 1: idea of assassinating people you disagree with who are in
- 31:51Speaker 1: positions of power and giving you reason to believe that
- 31:54Speaker 1: it is justifiable.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And remember Joy Bihar on the view said it was
- 32:00Speaker 2: terrible that I said it was leftists who are saying this. Well,
- 32:02Speaker 2: look that polling data shows it's Democrats and it's young.
- 32:06Speaker 2: It doesn't break it down by liberal or conservative. But
- 32:09Speaker 2: I am very confident a significant percentage of those young
- 32:15Speaker 2: people that think it's acceptable would also identify as leftists.
- 32:19Speaker 2: And we know that young people skew further left anyway.
- 32:22Speaker 2: This is look, let me repeat what ought to be
- 32:27Speaker 2: a simple proposition. Murder is always, always, always wrong, whether
- 32:32Speaker 2: you like the person or not. And by the way,
- 32:34Speaker 2: all the people who think the murder of this CEO
- 32:37Speaker 2: is so horrible they don't know anything about him. They
- 32:39Speaker 2: don't know about any health care clim claims. He denied
- 32:43Speaker 2: he was CEO of a major healthcare insurance company. Now,
- 32:46Speaker 2: I get a lot of people don't like insurance companies.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I've got issues with insurance companies, but this guy may
- 32:51Speaker 2: be a wonderful human being. We don't know. He was
- 32:53Speaker 2: a father of two teenage kids. He was murdered in
- 32:56Speaker 2: cold blood, and yet according to this poll, forty one
- 33:02Speaker 2: percent of young people think perfectly okay to murder him.
- 33:05Speaker 2: That is, we need to see people speaking out and
- 33:08Speaker 2: saying this is wrong, period the end. Not like and
- 33:12Speaker 2: when we cover this in Monday's podcast, not like Elizabeth
- 33:16Speaker 2: Warren and Bernie Sanders and AOC murder is wrong, but
- 33:20Speaker 2: it's okayar I understand it here. People can only be
- 33:22Speaker 2: pushed so far. No murder is wrong, period the end.
- 33:27Speaker 2: That would actually be a good and sensible and moral
- 33:30Speaker 2: and reasonable position and what was understood throughout American history,
- 33:36Speaker 2: at least in modern times. But for the cultural Marxist
- 33:42Speaker 2: murder of the enemy.
- 33:45Speaker 1: No problem, Yeah, no problem at all. Don't forget. We
- 33:48Speaker 1: do this podcast Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can also
- 33:51Speaker 1: this in between days. Grab my podcast, the Ben Ferguson Podcasts,
