Government Moves to Strengthen Marine Safety Standards
The Government is taking steps to improve safety standards for marine-based activities following a recent boating incident at Anse Cochon. Tourism Minister Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire says the inquiry is expected to provide recommendations for stronger regulations, better oversight and enforcement, improved emergency preparedness, and enhanced marine safety capabilities.
