- 1:46Speaker 1: Turn the water of the mony up.
- 1:49Speaker 7: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out your.
- 2:01Speaker 8: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 9: Good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 9: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey oh
- 2:10Speaker 9: Man got a radio show. Man got a radio show
- 2:14Speaker 9: and a whole lot mold too.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Man. God is good to me.
- 2:18Speaker 8: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
- 2:21Speaker 8: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
- 2:24Speaker 8: thing called life, except if it was not for the
- 2:28Speaker 8: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
- 2:31Speaker 8: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist
- 2:35Speaker 8: the way that I do. I will not be who
- 2:38Speaker 8: I am or where I am. I am who I
- 2:41Speaker 8: am and where I am simply because God is who
- 2:46Speaker 8: he is. If it was not for God, I would
- 2:50Speaker 8: have no testimony for you, because I would have failed
- 2:54Speaker 8: every single test plain pure and simple. I can sit
- 3:00Speaker 8: here today and tell you flat out that it is
- 3:04Speaker 8: purely because of God's grace and mercy that I exist
- 3:09Speaker 8: today because of His favor. See now He shows us
- 3:13Speaker 8: favor in life because of a combination of things I've discovered.
- 3:19Speaker 8: And this is not the whole answer to life. I
- 3:22Speaker 8: can assure you as not. But this is a combination
- 3:25Speaker 8: that I've grown to understand better and better, and I
- 3:29Speaker 8: wish I had gotten it earlier in my life. But
- 3:32Speaker 8: here it is. If you take faith and you combine
- 3:39Speaker 8: it with an incredible work ethic, then God has the
- 3:49Speaker 8: greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best way
- 3:55Speaker 8: I can explain success to you from my standpoint. It
- 4:00Speaker 8: is the combination of faith and work that produces the
- 4:05Speaker 8: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See a
- 4:09Speaker 8: lot of times we want God to bless us, but
- 4:12Speaker 8: we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So now
- 4:15Speaker 8: we sideways in.
- 4:16Speaker 1: The equation a little bit.
- 4:18Speaker 8: But see if you had the faith in God that
- 4:22Speaker 8: God can do anything but fail, that God will get
- 4:26Speaker 8: you through, that God will see you through. That the
- 4:29Speaker 8: God is the God you serve, is the greatest giver
- 4:31Speaker 8: of all good things if you kept that faith intact
- 4:35Speaker 8: through it all, and you produced an incredible work ethic
- 4:41Speaker 8: that allows the most opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 4:46Speaker 8: See without that what you want God to do? See,
- 4:51Speaker 8: you can have faith and be sitting at the house
- 4:54Speaker 8: watching TV. There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God
- 5:00Speaker 8: to show you favor. And you got to do some
- 5:03Speaker 8: things man, that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel
- 5:08Speaker 8: like doing, or something that don't have the right payoff
- 5:11Speaker 8: right in front of your face, with the faith that
- 5:14Speaker 8: it'll pay off later on. See, too many people are
- 5:18Speaker 8: working for the right now reward, and the right now
- 5:21Speaker 8: reward is not how it works.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Sometimes the reward is coming later on up the road.
- 5:27Speaker 8: But the only way you can know that is if
- 5:29Speaker 8: you got to You got to apply the faith and
- 5:32Speaker 8: see the reason you don't know that that it's coming
- 5:36Speaker 8: like that.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Or you have to have faith to believe that it's coming.
- 5:39Speaker 8: Because faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 5:46Speaker 1: That's what faith is. You know you're standing at let
- 5:49Speaker 1: me give you exam.
- 5:49Speaker 8: You're standing at the crosswalk with a walk sign on
- 5:53Speaker 8: it and the sign flashing on the corner. Don't walk
- 5:56Speaker 8: then that the signs say walk. What do you think
- 6:01Speaker 8: your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Is what? Pretty good?
- 6:06Speaker 8: Because guess what the signs say walk. You can see
- 6:09Speaker 8: the other side. There's other people in the cross walk walking,
- 6:13Speaker 8: So guess what. You strike out blindly? It don't take
- 6:16Speaker 8: a lot of faith to get across that streets.
- 6:20Speaker 1: That's not what I'm talking to you about.
- 6:23Speaker 8: I'm talking about the faith, the belief in things that
- 6:26Speaker 8: you cannot see, the faith that what I'm doing today,
- 6:31Speaker 8: I believe in my heart of heart that God wouldn't
- 6:35Speaker 8: bring me this far to leave me. That God is
- 6:38Speaker 8: a true and living God, that he keeps his promises,
- 6:40Speaker 8: that later on, there's things that I'm working towards right
- 6:43Speaker 8: now gonna pay off later on. See, too many people
- 6:46Speaker 8: want the reward right now. See, that's not the exhibition
- 6:50Speaker 8: of faith. If it's the right thing to do, if
- 6:55Speaker 8: it's if it's a good thing to do, if it's
- 6:57Speaker 8: a just thing to do. See if it's sin in it,
- 7:01Speaker 8: it ain't God. You can just clear it on up
- 7:03Speaker 8: right there. You can stop all the wondering. If that's
- 7:06Speaker 8: his voice talking to you, if it's the right thing
- 7:09Speaker 8: to do. If it's sin in it, it's not God
- 7:13Speaker 8: talking to you. Kill it. You can shut it down.
- 7:17Speaker 8: You ain't got to wonder about it. Go down there
- 7:19Speaker 8: secret venge that ain't God. Go tell them off when
- 7:22Speaker 8: you see him. That ain't God. Anything that's got seining
- 7:25Speaker 8: in it is not God's voice telling you to do it.
- 7:28Speaker 8: So you can kill that conversation today. That's how you know.
- 7:32Speaker 8: But if you aligning yourself up man and you and
- 7:35Speaker 8: what you're doing is just and right and correct and
- 7:38Speaker 8: pleasing in the sight of God, it'll pay off for
- 7:42Speaker 8: you later on. And see, here's the best way I
- 7:47Speaker 8: can tell to his another one when you're going somewhere.
- 7:52Speaker 8: When when you're on the road to going somewhere and
- 7:56Speaker 8: you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 7:58Speaker 8: Let's say you've set a gold a vision for yourself.
- 8:01Speaker 8: You know where you want to get to. You got
- 8:03Speaker 8: a good idea, and you own your way to going there.
- 8:07Speaker 8: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
- 8:10Speaker 8: going to get hard, when it gets difficult, and it
- 8:14Speaker 8: is going to get difficult when it becomes challenging, and
- 8:18Speaker 8: it is going to become challenging when it becomes.
- 8:21Speaker 1: All three of those things.
- 8:22Speaker 8: When it don't look like it's gonna happen, don't stop
- 8:26Speaker 8: and complain so much. But see, I know he don't
- 8:30Speaker 8: bless me. But in the middle of it, man, I
- 8:32Speaker 8: felt a little heavy. And you got to be careful
- 8:35Speaker 8: when it gets hard for you, because you'll find yourself complaining.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And when you complain and see.
- 8:41Speaker 8: What you can't do is you can't complain so much
- 8:44Speaker 8: that you forget that the place that you're trying to
- 8:48Speaker 8: go to, you actually own your way there still. See,
- 8:53Speaker 8: don't get caught up into complaining and then lose sight of.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Your blessing that's actually happening to you.
- 8:58Speaker 8: What really, man, of all the times to register a
- 9:03Speaker 8: complaint to God, to sit up and go, hey, man,
- 9:06Speaker 8: I didn't I wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 9:09Speaker 8: Ease back in, man, you in it's a tornado world
- 9:13Speaker 8: around you. You ain't got time to ease back in. You
- 9:15Speaker 8: got to go on and jump back in it. It
- 9:17Speaker 8: is what it is. To whom much is given, much
- 9:20Speaker 8: is required. Always appreciate the blessings. Don't get so caught
- 9:24Speaker 8: up in the complaints that you lose sight of the blessings. Man,
- 9:27Speaker 8: God got a lot for you in your life, man,
- 9:29Speaker 8: But you got to have them two things, y'all. You
- 9:31Speaker 8: got to take that faith and you got to ply
- 9:35Speaker 8: a crazy work ethic to it. And that creates the
- 9:38Speaker 8: most opportunities for God to show you favor. And when
- 9:42Speaker 8: God starts showing your favor, man, all them seeds you
- 9:45Speaker 8: plant it, all that all of that wheat you've been sowing,
- 9:49Speaker 8: all of that hard work you've been put in God
- 9:52Speaker 8: to pay it off. And He'll pay it off in
- 9:54Speaker 8: ways that you don't even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening,
- 10:02Speaker 8: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Let me just simply get to it.
- 10:09Speaker 8: He I'm talking about God, Almighty.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Oh he didn't. He didn't. Did it again?
- 10:21Speaker 8: That that sun, the one that's up this morning, that
- 10:25Speaker 8: was him, That moon that showed it some places last night,
- 10:31Speaker 8: that was him. The stars in the sky that was him.
- 10:35Speaker 8: The the the waking up in the morning. You I'm
- 10:39Speaker 8: talking about you, that was him.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Man.
- 10:42Speaker 8: The opportunity to do it again today and get it right, that's.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Him and nobody else can get credit for this.
- 10:50Speaker 8: The tide that comes in morning, noon, late afternoon, night.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You don't know when it's coming, where's going?
- 10:57Speaker 8: That's him. That earth rotates on his axis, that's him.
- 11:03Speaker 8: I was listening to a scientist yesterday on a YouTube.
- 11:07Speaker 8: I wasn't listening to him. He popped up and he
- 11:09Speaker 8: said that there is no evidence that there is a god.
- 11:15Speaker 8: I said, fool, how much do you want? Snowfall, mountains, oceans, meadows, trees, greenery, birds, humans, life, knowledge.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Lamps, food? Come up?
- 11:40Speaker 10: What lamps?
- 11:43Speaker 1: Carpet?
- 11:46Speaker 8: No? I just went mad these dudes right here. You
- 11:49Speaker 8: know what I man, You can outsmart yourself. You can
- 11:52Speaker 8: be so dumb that you outsmart yourself. Now you just
- 11:56Speaker 8: set up here and took yourself to school, and now
- 11:59Speaker 8: you don't let somebody down at an educational institution tell
- 12:03Speaker 8: you about whether there's a god or not because there
- 12:06Speaker 8: is no physical evidence.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I don't know what you're looking for. I don't know
- 12:11Speaker 1: what you're looking for.
- 12:13Speaker 8: I tell you what I'm bro I'm I'm at a
- 12:17Speaker 8: loss with you.
- 12:18Speaker 1: But I'll tell you one thing though. If you're driving your.
- 12:22Speaker 8: Car and your car go off for cliff, Okay, Now,
- 12:29Speaker 8: I promise you you won't be calling for stars and
- 12:35Speaker 8: you won't be calling protons. I promise you you're gonna
- 12:41Speaker 8: holler for him. Yeah, yeah, oh Protons, No, No.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I ain't what you're gonna say on me? Hey, what
- 12:55Speaker 1: you're gonna say? And you know what?
- 12:56Speaker 8: Ca Yeah, And in his grin and mercy, he saved
- 13:03Speaker 8: people like that up, he saved people like that. That's
- 13:09Speaker 8: not gonna be me because I called him before I
- 13:12Speaker 8: go off the cliff. I'm talking to him for keeping
- 13:17Speaker 8: me off the cliff.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I'm keeping him.
- 13:21Speaker 8: I thank him for taking me to the cliff and
- 13:24Speaker 8: giving me the sense of turn back around. I thank
- 13:26Speaker 8: him for letting me jump off the cliff and open
- 13:29Speaker 8: the pachute and putting wind under my WII. That's what
- 13:31Speaker 8: I think of for everything. Man, that's Steve hard Morning Show.

- 17:33Speaker 3: Somethinique. I just want to say, I just, I truly apologize.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I mean I thought I was calling the person that
- 17:38Speaker 3: was in the room. I'm really really.
- 17:40Speaker 4: You know what, I don't know what to say if
- 17:42Speaker 4: there is nothing to say, unless you're going to give
- 17:44Speaker 4: me your address right now so I could be on
- 17:46Speaker 4: my way over there.

- 18:49Speaker 4: Okay, Tommy, what's going on? Your worker called me to
- 18:54Speaker 4: tell me that my husband was having sex in your hotel?
- 18:58Speaker 4: Too loud? And I asked this address and he won't
- 19:01Speaker 4: give it to me. And I'm on my way down there,
- 19:04Speaker 4: and I'm about to call my husband since he won't
- 19:06Speaker 4: answer your call. And I did hear him talking to
- 19:09Speaker 4: you in the background?
- 19:10Speaker 3: Okay, Well did you hear who he was talking to? No?
- 19:13Speaker 12: I didn't.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Okay, he was talking to me. But do you know
- 19:17Speaker 3: who I am?
- 19:18Speaker 12: No?
- 19:18Speaker 4: I don't and I don't really care.
- 19:21Speaker 3: But do you know Tommy at all?
- 19:24Speaker 4: Do I know Tommy?
- 19:26Speaker 12: No?

- 20:04Speaker 4: Well I don't know if you be laughing, if somebody
- 20:07Speaker 4: cause you with this, but okay, I.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Would you have a sister. Your sister name is Lydia?
- 20:15Speaker 3: Am I right?
- 20:16Speaker 4: Yes?
- 20:16Speaker 3: Lydia is who got me to brank phone? Call you?

- 53:45Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:48Speaker 11: Thank you, nephew. Subjects sleeping in the next room. Dear
- 53:52Speaker 11: Stephen Shirley. I got married two months ago and we
- 53:55Speaker 11: are in the process of moving to our new home,
- 53:58Speaker 11: which has been owned by my husband's family for years.
- 54:01Speaker 11: We get to stay there for free, but the house
- 54:03Speaker 11: needs new carpet and fresh paint. My father in law
- 54:07Speaker 11: has offered to do the work for himself, or the
- 54:10Speaker 11: work himself as our wedding gift. I don't want to
- 54:13Speaker 11: burden him with extra work because we are staying with
- 54:16Speaker 11: him while our house is being worked on. And he
- 54:18Speaker 11: said He's doing it mostly for me, but I didn't
- 54:21Speaker 11: understand what that meant until recently. A week ago, I
- 54:25Speaker 11: stopped by the house to see how the updates were looking.
- 54:28Speaker 11: My father in law was there with another worker painting.
- 54:32Speaker 11: My hair was down, so my father in law walked
- 54:35Speaker 11: up to me and put a paper bonnet over my hair.
- 54:38Speaker 11: I could smell his cologne and his breath on my neck,
- 54:41Speaker 11: and at that very moment, I realized that it is
- 54:44Speaker 11: only a matter of time before I give in to
- 54:47Speaker 11: this man. Here's a backstory. My father in law is handsome,
- 54:51Speaker 11: well groomed, with wavy hair and a moisturized beard. He's
- 54:55Speaker 11: turning fifty soon, but you can't tell. He used to
- 54:59Speaker 11: flirt with me all the time, but he stopped right
- 55:01Speaker 11: before my wedding. Now that my husband and I are
- 55:04Speaker 11: living with him, I'm finding it harder to resist him.
- 55:07Speaker 11: He knows I'm always up late, so he texted me
- 55:10Speaker 11: the other night saying, go to bed beautiful. While I
- 55:13Speaker 11: was watching a movie. I told him to come watch
- 55:16Speaker 11: the movie with me, and he said he wouldn't be
- 55:18Speaker 11: able to concentrate on the movie. That's saying to me
- 55:21Speaker 11: that I need to get my husband and I into
- 55:23Speaker 11: an apartment pronto before he catches me sleeping in the
- 55:27Speaker 11: next room with his daddy. Every part of me is
- 55:30Speaker 11: longing for this older, distinguished man. How can I convince
- 55:34Speaker 11: my husband that we should move without telling him exactly why?
- 55:40Speaker 12: What?
- 55:42Speaker 1: Girl? You are?
- 55:44Speaker 13: What?
- 55:45Speaker 11: Okay? This whole letter is out of order, and I
- 55:49Speaker 11: got to say, please don't do this. I mean, just
- 55:51Speaker 11: because this man is fine and well groomed and all
- 55:54Speaker 11: of that, that's absolutely no reason for you to commit
- 55:57Speaker 11: the ultimate betrayal and sleep with your husband's father. Come on, now,
- 56:02Speaker 11: this is wrong on every single level. It's not just
- 56:07Speaker 11: blanking okay, that won't be it. This is going to
- 56:10Speaker 11: break up a family. It's going to break up your marriage.
- 56:13Speaker 11: It's going to ruin your lives. I mean, yeah, you're right.
- 56:16Speaker 11: Get out of there as soon as possible and create
- 56:19Speaker 11: distance between you and your husband and his father. And
- 56:23Speaker 11: I'm telling you you won't be able to live this
- 56:25Speaker 11: down if this goes down. This is not a game,
- 56:28Speaker 11: this is not a movie. You are playing with fire
- 56:31Speaker 11: with people's lives here talking about it's just a matter
- 56:35Speaker 11: of time before I give in to this man. If
- 56:37Speaker 11: you don't care about your marriage, at least care about
- 56:40Speaker 11: the relationship with the father and son. Of course Dad
- 56:43Speaker 11: is all the way wrong for flirting with you and
- 56:46Speaker 11: all of that, but you don't have to let him
- 56:49Speaker 11: have sex with you. That's what you're thinking about.
- 56:52Speaker 5: This is on you.
- 56:53Speaker 11: You have to show some sort of self control here,
- 56:57Speaker 11: walk away, let this go. Choose to do the right thing.
- 57:01Speaker 11: You won't regret this, You've got you can't. This is craziness.
- 57:06Speaker 8: Steve Well, I got married, this lady says, I got
- 57:15Speaker 8: married two months ago. And y'all trying to move into
- 57:18Speaker 8: this new house. But and it's owned by your husband's
- 57:23Speaker 8: family and you all are gonna stay there free.
- 57:28Speaker 1: But the house needs new carpet and some fresh paint. Now.
- 57:31Speaker 8: Your father in law has offered to do the work
- 57:33Speaker 8: itself as a gift, wedding gift. I didn't want to
- 57:36Speaker 8: burden him of the extra work because we're staying with
- 57:39Speaker 8: him while our house is being worked on. You probably
- 57:42Speaker 8: staying there free too. He said he's doing it mostly
- 57:46Speaker 8: for me. I didn't understand what it meant. In too recently.
- 57:51Speaker 8: Well ain't nothing free, nothing very little free things in life. Now,
- 57:58Speaker 8: there are people who freely love people. There are people
- 58:01Speaker 8: who freely give of everything. And that's that's very true.
- 58:07Speaker 8: Everything else that's free come with a cost. Once again.
- 58:12Speaker 8: You freely love your children, you freely love your spouse
- 58:16Speaker 8: and your maiden, you freely love some of your friends.
- 58:23Speaker 8: But when it's not genuine, everything else that's free cost,
- 58:31Speaker 8: it just costs.
- 58:33Speaker 13: Man.
- 58:34Speaker 8: And I hate to say that, and this guy knows that.
- 58:37Speaker 8: But it's two people that's dead wrong in this letter,
- 58:40Speaker 8: you and the father. It's just nowhere around the stinkness
- 58:46Speaker 8: of both of y'all. Just y'all trifling man, And it's
- 58:50Speaker 8: no other way for me to put it.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Go put it.
- 58:52Speaker 8: A week ago. You stop by the house and see
- 58:54Speaker 8: how the updates were looking. My father in law was
- 58:57Speaker 8: there with another work of painting. My hair was down,
- 59:00Speaker 8: so my father in law walk up to me to
- 59:02Speaker 8: put a paper bonnet over my hair. I could smell
- 59:05Speaker 8: his cologne it through the paint. Then that paint in
- 59:09Speaker 8: your whole house, and you can smell his cologne through
- 59:13Speaker 8: the paint. How much brute he got on?
- 59:19Speaker 1: Lady? You know what I mean?
- 59:21Speaker 8: You wanted to write us that you want to do him,
- 59:26Speaker 8: because ain't no way in hell you walking in a
- 59:29Speaker 8: house that's being painted, and you can smell this man's cologne.
- 59:34Speaker 8: You know what paint smell like?
- 59:36Speaker 1: Fresh?
- 59:36Speaker 8: Open up, can paint two people in that paint rollers, brushes, girls,
- 59:41Speaker 8: Stop you lie. I could smell his cologne and his
- 59:46Speaker 8: breath on my neck. The only way you can smell
- 59:54Speaker 8: cologne and breath is both of them his bad.
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: All right, hold on, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:04Speaker 11: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: The subject of today's strawberry letter sleeping in the next room.
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: hard morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: today's strawberry letter. The subject is sleeping in the next room.
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: Lady is in a situation that her and her father
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: in law are contemplating, and both of these people are trifling.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: This woman's been married two most two most.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: The wedding gift is to stay in the family's house
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: for free, but the house needs some carpet and paint.
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: Father in law offered due to work hisself as a
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: wedding gift, but you don't want to burden him with
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: no extra work because y'all staying with him while the
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: house is being worked on.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: He said, he's mostly doing it for me.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: All this free stuff, free carpet, free paint, free work,
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: free house, free crip free places stay until it gets
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: A week ago, my father in law was there with
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: another work of peyton. My hair was down, so my
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: father in law walked up to me put a paper
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: bonnet over my hair. I could smell his cologne and
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: his breath on my neck. At that very moment, I
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: realized that it's only a matter of time before I
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: give in to this man.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Here is the back story, all right, we all know
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: the backstory.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: You tricky. He tricky, and you've been tricky. You was
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: tricky for your marriage and hunsband. You tricky after you
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: married your husband. The father in law was tricky before
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: y'all got married, and your heart. Your father in law
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: is so tricky. He even tricky as a father, which
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: is the worst kind. It's worse. It's worse coming from
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: the father, because that's the ultimate betrayal. Divorces happened all
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: the time, But to get dogged out and brutalized and
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: and and and and and and and and and cheated
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: on by your father, though he low down man, he
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: low down and but you you the other trick in
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: this thing. Here the backstory. My father in law is handsome.
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: That ain't backstory. That's just your father in law. This
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: is see backstory is what happened to you all prior
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: to this. This ain't no backstory. Are you telling us?
- 1:02:32Speaker 8: Is why you want this man? My father in law
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: is handsome, well groomed, with wavy hair and a moisturized bed.
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: He got wavy hair, that's it. That's what it took.
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: And he hassled and he got a moisturized beard. Most
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: brothers moisturized, they be damn there, all of them, bed oil,
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: all that sheen spray. And you're okay, he's turning fifty soon.
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: But you can't tell. He used to flirt with me
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: all the time, but he stopped right before I wed.
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: Now that's backstory, right. And then you said, now that
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: my husband and I are living with him, I'm finding
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: it harder to resist him.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: So are you saying he's still flirting with you?
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: Or are you just stuck on the times when the
- 1:03:32Speaker 8: old good looking, well groomed, beid, moisturized, wavy hair man
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: was hollering at you before. So anyway, I'm finding it
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: harder to resist him. Really, he knows I'm always up late.
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: So he texted me the other night he said, go
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: to bed, beautiful while I was watching the movie. I
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: told him to come watch the movie with me, and
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: he said he wouldn't be able to concentrate on the movie.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: Y'all just playing with fire in him. See this is
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: how you get. This is how you get in real trouble.
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: This this, this is this is domestic violence right here.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: And I'm talking about father and son domestic violence. Ye see,
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: this is just what I'm talking about. I'm not saying
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: man physically abusing a woman. That's not what I'm saying.
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: And I've never promoted that ever in my life. But
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: you you you, you, like Shirley said, you about to
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: destroy a family that's already destroyed because dad ain't worth
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: for damn no way.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: He looked pretty ass old man with wavy head.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: Keep it just a pretty ass old man, that's all,
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: old punk ass dude, because he got some little wavy
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: heir probably light skin too, a little light skin, punk ass.
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: That what he is, what he is.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: It ain't ain't too many dog skinned people got wavy hair.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: So you know it's just no hell no, it ain't
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: no hell no hell no old light.
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: Skin, punk ass life skin, high yellow ass boy, got
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: a little will moisturized bed. And you know he's been
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: pretty all his life. He's still holding on. Now he's
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: gonna take his son's woman. Man, You a dog, You
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: a low down dog. Every part of me is lunging
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: for this older distinguished man. How can I convince my
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: husband that we should move without telling him exactly?
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:05:20Speaker 12: What?
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: Why don't you get some damn self control? Why don't
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: you get some dignity? Why don't you get some loyalty?
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: Why don't you remember why you got married? Why don't
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: you remember that's your husband? Why can't you remember the vials?
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: Why can't you stay away from this.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: One old man? It ain't just him.
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: If this older distinguished man creates a problem for you
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: after two months of marriage, it's a whole lot of
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: men gonna create a problem from you. Your dusty, corrupt behind.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: Don't need to be married because you tricky. So when
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: y'all go get an apartment and the handsome man across
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: the hall ain't gonna happen in What about when the
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: younger distinguished man come up to you again.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: It's just a matter of time.
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: They saying that I need to get my that's saying
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: to me that I need to get my husband on
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: an apartment before he catches me sleeping in the next
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: room with his dad.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: All right, Okay, yeah very much.
- 1:06:21Speaker 11: So post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:06:23Speaker 11: Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the
- 1:06:26Speaker 11: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up at forty
- 1:06:29Speaker 11: six minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 1:06:32Speaker 11: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:06:35Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: All right, Stephen Tommy, you guys have been talking about
- 1:06:42Speaker 11: the fight this past weekend between Tank Davis and Ryan Garcia.
- 1:06:46Speaker 11: Tank defeated Garcia in seven rounds. So who do you
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: think are the new boxing champs out there? I mean,
- 1:06:54Speaker 11: like the next Tyson or Mayweather or holy Field, Foreman, Ali,
- 1:06:59Speaker 11: et cetera. Who are the new guys?
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: I think boxing went down. I thought that it's lost
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: as it's sparkling used to have. MMA looked like it
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: just took over everything. That's my thought.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean Tyson was the last.
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: Heavyweight champ boxing has always been the major draw has
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: always been the heavyweight division.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: But black kids are not boxing anymore. Who is the
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: heavyweight champion now? I don't even know who that is? Uh,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Tyson Fury?
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: Okay, and Dante Wilder can't beat him because Dante Wilder has.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Always needed a new trainer.
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: The white guy that trains him does not understand what
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: Dante Wilder needs to do. Dante Wilder has the skills
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: to beat this dame, but he's not being taught the
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: right thing.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: He's just not going for the knockout every time. Well
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: he's not.
- 1:08:03Speaker 8: He's not working on the things that he needs to
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: do to counter to fight the a guy that's just
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: as tall as him. It's hard to find the sparring
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: partner like that. And Tyson Fury is left hand, he's
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: a soft paw, and so somebody got to help. Dante
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: Wilder got to get control of that or that left
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: foot and watch where the punch and ankles coming from.
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: And why ain't nobody talking to him about that is
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: beyond me? Right?
- 1:08:31Speaker 11: Yeah, Well, I was just gonna ask you said, kids
- 1:08:36Speaker 11: aren't boxing today, what did you mean by that?
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: They don't box, they shooting, They playing video games. Kids
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: play video games. Now kids are not physically active like
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: we were. We we could, we wanted to fight ourselves
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: out to getto they want to they want to instagram,
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: theyself out to get on.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Now, you know, it's everything is totally different.
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: These kids are not They're playing video games and they
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: have a violent tendency now that has nothing to do
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: with throwing hands, and so now we don't have it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: And now the Lord Division are the stars of boxing.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: That's why Floyd can still draw a crowd, That's why
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: this logan Paul can do these ridiculous boxing exhibitions. Now
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: he fighting real fights. He's getting his ass for. And
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: you know it's just to me, that's what happened to
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: the whole division. They just they playing video games. Now
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: it ain't a more damn mister vont Davis. Though, this boy,
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: this boy everything you want.
- 1:09:31Speaker 11: Thought. Coming up at the top of the hour, a
- 1:09:39Speaker 11: woman on social media Steve needs advice. She says, I
- 1:09:42Speaker 11: think my neighbor did something with my cat. We'll be
- 1:09:45Speaker 11: back to talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:48Speaker 10: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:09:55Speaker 11: Well, Michelle on Facebook rights, my neighbor and I have
- 1:09:58Speaker 11: been beefings. Since I moved here two years ago. We
- 1:10:01Speaker 11: rarely talk. But I was out looking for my cat
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: yesterday and he saw me and told me that my
- 1:10:06Speaker 11: cat got hit by a car at the end of
- 1:10:08Speaker 11: our road and that someone picked her up and threw
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: her in the trash. Well, today was trash day. Yeah,
- 1:10:15Speaker 11: this is crazy, right, So today was today was trash
- 1:10:17Speaker 11: day and I couldn't confirm this. So I'm not convinced
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: that something else happened, like he killed her or took
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: her away someplace. What should I do? Do I tell
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: him I don't believe him and see what he says.
- 1:10:32Speaker 11: Should I go door to door in the neighborhood to
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: see if anyone saw anything? So Michelle is confused. What
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: should she do?
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Steve, Well, they.
- 1:10:39Speaker 8: Don't need to ask Hi him about the cat. So
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: he already gave you his version of what happened to me. Somebody. Yeah,
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: cat got hit, picked him up, threw him in a trap.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Didn't do none of that. Cat. Oh he did something today?
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: You think that?
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Hi, you don't want to saw it.
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: Yeah that's true.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Yep, good point.
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: Yeah, So all these ring doughbells, all these cameras, Yeah,
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: he the only one know what happened to the cat.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Whoever brings you the news, Hello is usually the calls
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: of it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 11: Okay, all right, and they've been for two years, Steve
- 1:11:26Speaker 11: and Trash. That's a really bad part, all right, I
- 1:11:30Speaker 11: think we have time for another one, Steve. This is
- 1:11:32Speaker 11: from Sherry on Steve Harvey, a f them. She says
- 1:11:36Speaker 11: that she's been married for six years and she knows
- 1:11:39Speaker 11: that she's kind of let herself go a bit and
- 1:11:42Speaker 11: should be eating better and exercising more. She says she
- 1:11:45Speaker 11: doesn't feel very good about herself, and her husband doesn't
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: seem as interested in her as much as he was.
- 1:11:51Speaker 11: When I ask him about it, he insists that he's
- 1:11:54Speaker 11: as attracted to me as he ever was, and that
- 1:11:57Speaker 11: he loves me the way I am. But I don't
- 1:11:59Speaker 11: believe him. I really want to be healthier and more attractive,
- 1:12:03Speaker 11: if only for him. But life seems to keep getting
- 1:12:06Speaker 11: in the way of my plans. How can I make
- 1:12:08Speaker 11: a commitment to get helpier and stick with it?
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: No, it doesn't. Life doesn't keep getting in the way
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: of your plans. Your mind gets in the way of
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: your commitment. See life don't get in the way of
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: your plans, your mind gets in the way of your commitment.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: You have a say so into what goes on in
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: your life.
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: And discipline is doing the things that you don't want
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: to do and doing the things you have to do,
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: but doing them anyway. And if you're unhappy with the
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: way you look, then you can start doing some things
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: about it. My first suggestion to you is to help
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: you with your brain focus and clarity, to help you
- 1:12:52Speaker 8: with some energy.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: My suggestion to you is try Steve Harvey's Elevate You. No,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: this is a person. There's the time to throw in
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: a commercial, but I just kn't.
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: I'm the girl if I showed you what I was
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: doing now on a daily basis, because I now have
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: the energy to do it, I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: really show people how I've been really working on my health.
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: And health is important and it's more importantly that you
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: feel good about yourself than your husband. Right, So, if
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: you're not happy with the way you look, I think
- 1:13:28Speaker 8: your husband is being absolutely noble by telling you he
- 1:13:31Speaker 8: loves you just the way you are and he's just
- 1:13:34Speaker 8: as attracted to you. But if you're not, that does
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: nothing for you. If you don't like the way you
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: feel it looks right. Go to elevatetho dot com and
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: get you a green drink that will energize you, help
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: your digestion, and then get you a plan and stick
- 1:13:51Speaker 8: to it.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: You are not going to lose weight.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: By just drinking a green drink. Let's not kid each other.
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: Let's work with it. But you gotta put some work
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: with it, with this new energy that you can get,
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: and you've got to stay committed to the program. It
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: doesn't work without your mental commitment. Come on, sister, you
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: can do better than this. Now you done. Let yourself go.
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: Stop letting yourself go. Health should be a priority.
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: Yeah, man, you're right.
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: And that speech your husband gay you. Every hood know
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: that speech that's supposed to say that. Everybody know that speech.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Right now?
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: Hey, you look good.
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: You look We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: Show coming up at twenty minutes after right after this.
- 1:14:38Speaker 11: You're listening Steve.
- 1:14:40Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:14:43Speaker 11: So NBC Universal CEO Jeff Schell has left the company.
- 1:14:48Speaker 11: He left after it was revealed that he had an
- 1:14:51Speaker 11: inappropriate relationship with a female at the company.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Just Fyi company.
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: This is NBC Universal.
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: Oh, we'll do a lot over there now. All right.
- 1:15:06Speaker 11: So last year his salary was twenty one point six
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: million dollars, so I hope he saved some of that
- 1:15:12Speaker 11: because he's out now. Yeah, Comcast slash DC Universal twenty
- 1:15:17Speaker 11: one point six according to reports.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I don't know if that's a you've a take a
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: dollar a stealing.
- 1:15:23Speaker 11: Yeah, it's still in the millions, multi millions.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: So here's their statement that NBC released. We are disappointed
- 1:15:31Speaker 11: to share this news with you. We built this company
- 1:15:34Speaker 11: on a culture of integrity. Nothing is more important than
- 1:15:38Speaker 11: how we treat each other. You should count on your
- 1:15:40Speaker 11: leaders to create a safe and respectable workplace. When our
- 1:15:44Speaker 11: principles and policies are violated, we will always move quickly
- 1:15:47Speaker 11: to take appropriate action, as we have done here. Let's
- 1:15:52Speaker 11: be clear, all right, So my man is out.
- 1:15:54Speaker 8: Well, did the woman complain or they just found out
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: they were seeing each other.
- 1:15:58Speaker 14: I've read that they did an internal investigation, so.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I don't know if they got word of it, and
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: this is what they discovered they talking when they come
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: out of the room. I don't understand.
- 1:16:09Speaker 11: You can keep it, you know, they weren't they weren't
- 1:16:12Speaker 11: they weren't in their office kissing or nothing like that,
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: they got busted.
- 1:16:16Speaker 10: Maybe we don't want.
- 1:16:19Speaker 11: All right, minutes after the hour, we'll play around it.
- 1:16:24Speaker 11: Would you rather right after this you're listening hard morning show?
- 1:16:30Speaker 11: All right, guys, it's time now for a rounded? Would
- 1:16:32Speaker 11: you rather? Would you rather only be able to listen
- 1:16:35Speaker 11: to the same song for the rest of your life?
- 1:16:38Speaker 13: Or that.
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: Would be it for you?
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Or would I'm sorry? Go ahead?
- 1:16:45Speaker 10: Which one?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Humpty dance? Go ahead? But all the songs in the world. Hey, hey, hey,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: that's how I'm spending the rest of my life, okay.
- 1:16:57Speaker 11: Humpty humpty?
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: Did okay?
- 1:16:59Speaker 11: Or would you rather be able to watch the same
- 1:17:01Speaker 11: movie for the rest of your life?
- 1:17:05Speaker 10: Song or movie?
- 1:17:06Speaker 7: Actor?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: You didn't let me finish, mister humpty dan.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna go with the movie. Which movie you
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: thought about listening to? Digital?
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: Huh?
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's going wow on me for a while the
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: rest of your life?
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: So what are you doing? Se Well, I've watched TV,
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: so okay, all right, I got to have my music though, man.
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: Yeah, can you do brave Heart the rest of your life?
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: If you do Brave Heart the rest.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Of your life.
- 1:17:37Speaker 11: Come on, Steve, do my favorite line from That's the
- 1:17:47Speaker 11: Best Nail, That's the best, all right? Would you rather
- 1:17:59Speaker 11: be cheated on numerous times and never know? Or would
- 1:18:05Speaker 11: you rather cheat on someone else and have to tell them?
- 1:18:08Speaker 16: Oh no, no, I don't know, old woman. I'm not
- 1:18:13Speaker 16: walking in there, said the damn thing, Tommy fit sheet all.
- 1:18:20Speaker 7: Over me, over me, show me some.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: No she hain't well, no believe it. I don't believe it.
- 1:18:39Speaker 11: All right, it's prom season. You know that you've been
- 1:18:43Speaker 11: seeing the young men and women dressed in their prom attire.
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: So would you rather be prom king or would you
- 1:18:49Speaker 11: rather be valedictorian?
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: M m?
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Prom Really valedictorian?
- 1:19:02Speaker 11: Get the crown, Fellowtorian, you got the best grade, you're
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: the smartest.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: That's not gonna happen. How what I'm gonna do with that?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Oh a scholarship? Baby, I be prom kings. We're talking
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: to Harvard, Yale, Princeton. Buddy, we're talking.
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: Ain't nobody gonna be calling you valid valedictory in the
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: rest of your life?
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: Prom King?
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Yes, p K boy, you crown old at the game. Yeah, why.
- 1:19:46Speaker 11: It's our last break of the day and we'll close
- 1:19:49Speaker 11: out this ignorance. Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:19:55Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 1:19:56Speaker 11: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day
- 1:19:58Speaker 11: on this Tuesday. It's been a good day. Yeah, uh huh,
- 1:20:04Speaker 11: yep yep, and uh time for some closing remarks from
- 1:20:08Speaker 11: U Steve. But before we get to that, we had
- 1:20:11Speaker 11: a phone call from a lady who left a message.
- 1:20:13Speaker 11: Remember last week when we were talking about Morgan Freeman,
- 1:20:16Speaker 11: how he criticized the term African American. Let's run that.
- 1:20:20Speaker 13: Tames the Harvey and Team radio.
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: See Harvey Show. Listen talking about these titles of black Americans,
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: actuent Americans.
- 1:20:31Speaker 13: How about human being? How about we give rid all
- 1:20:34Speaker 13: that and we're just all human beings, male, human being female.
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: Because it's basically the government is seperate us and call
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: them divisions.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: And it just like, why do we have to have
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: that title? Why can't we just be human being? What's
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: the purpose?
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: Why can't we just be What was that to regulate
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: about our color or ethnicityity? That's all I want to say.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, the problem with that is America is not
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: going to allow it.
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: Not the government, not the homeowners association, not the school board,
- 1:21:17Speaker 8: not the tax system.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Not the constitution. None of that allows for that.
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: And then we live in the confines of the United
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: States of America. It ain't nothing united about it. We
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: can't pass no law uniform in this country. It gets
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: down on the state level and here we go. Then
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: it goes up on the national level, and here we go,
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: and we always use those things.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: We were to be human beings.
- 1:21:56Speaker 8: If we were that, if they thought of us that way,
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: that would have never been slavery. If human beings was
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: the deal, there would have been no holocaust, if human being,
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: if we were just human beings, we wouldn't that wouldn't
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: be all of this that we have in this world today.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: We live in a falling world. The world is falling.
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: They've turned away from God. God is not the center
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: point or the focal point anymore. They took prayer out
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: of schools. They've done so many things and now and
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: now we can't even that. You know, a participation trophy
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: is one thing, but now you can't send your little
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: girl to attract meet and expect her to compete in
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: attract meet just against girls. We've allowed it where now
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: people who are not biologically women can get in there
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: and compete against women. And win title, beat them up
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: in the ring and run them off the track, and
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: and and these children are left to having to grapple
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: with that.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: We live in a world where everybody should be free
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: to do whatever they want to do as adults.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: And you could and you should be and that's your choice,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: and that's fine.
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: But we live in the world now where we allow
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: other people's decisions have to be accepted by everybody else.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: That's unfair.
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: It's not fair, man, it's not It's unfair for what
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: I'm trying to teach my grandchildren. It's unfair to the
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: example I'm trying to set for my kids. You're free
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: to do what you want to do, but there has
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: to be freedom on both sides of it. We live
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: in a world where we have a government who wants
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: to tell women what to do with their bodies and
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: they can pass a law because they have the most
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: conservatives on the board. And that's cool, man, I'm all
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: for that if that's what you want to do. But
- 1:24:11Speaker 8: there has to be exceptions to everything. It just has
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: to be, and where we are now, exceptions are not allowed,
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: you know. I mean, you can't threaten the safety of
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: people's own happiness. The right to the pursuit of happiness
- 1:24:30Speaker 8: in this country is not the case anymore, because when
- 1:24:34Speaker 8: you pursue your happiness, if it infringes on part my
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: happiness is I now have to partake and agree with
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: your form of happiness which intrudes on my happiness. Something's
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: wrong here. I don't know if I'm explaining myself right.
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: Let me ask my crew to jump in here. Am
- 1:24:52Speaker 8: I saying something that's wrong?
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: Not at all.
- 1:25:00Speaker 14: I think you're talking about how you're feeling on different
- 1:25:03Speaker 14: topics and different issues, and I think it's just so
- 1:25:05Speaker 14: much going on in this country, in the world. It's
- 1:25:08Speaker 14: just every single day everything, and it just seems like
- 1:25:13Speaker 14: nobody wants to come together.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: For a solution and help and try to save lives.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: And I just don't understand. I just don't. It's going
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to be.
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: It's racism always.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:25:29Speaker 11: I agree, of.
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: All that we have, racism is the ugliest thing that
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: we have to deal with because racism affects everyone.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: That it affects everyone. That's it.
- 1:25:41Speaker 14: What were you saying, Tommy, What were you doing to say?
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: It's more confusing parenting and trying to explain certain things
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: to your kid, and how to explain it and how
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: are you supposed to walk that line? And why is
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: there It shouldn't even be a line when you're talking
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: to your child and now you're now you're trying to
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: figure out how do I deliver this information and how
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: do I all, right, I get him to understand the
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: right and the wrong.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: That's true. I'm talking to my grandkids that situation.
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: Man. No, yeah, no, I don't know, man, I don't Well,
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: that's it. Hey, y'all listen, were here, We're alive and well.
- 1:26:21Speaker 8: God is in the blessing business. Y'all have a great day.
- 1:26:24Speaker 8: Talk to God today. He would love to hear from
- 1:26:26Speaker 8: you and stay true to your truth.
