- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dave me now what it only Steve Hardy got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show today. I want to just share something with
- 2:17Speaker 1: you along your way to wherever it is you're trying
- 2:24Speaker 1: to get to. You know, everybody has a different definition
- 2:28Speaker 1: for success, and I'm not. I'm not here to tell
- 2:31Speaker 1: you what joy should be. I mean, please pursue whatever
- 2:34Speaker 1: you think success he is aim as high as you
- 2:37Speaker 1: can though, that's for sure. My father used to say
- 2:42Speaker 1: all the time. I'm sure you all have heard it
- 2:44Speaker 1: in different variations, but he used to always say, aim
- 2:48Speaker 1: for the moon. Just in case you miss, you'll still
- 2:50Speaker 1: be amongst the stars. Just say that to me all
- 2:53Speaker 1: the time. So that always was in me to aim high. Now,
- 2:59Speaker 1: he wasn't saying aim with the intent to miss. He
- 3:03Speaker 1: was just saying aim In case you miss, you're still
- 3:08Speaker 1: amongst the stars. If you aim for the moon. But
- 3:11Speaker 1: if you just aim for that first flow wind and
- 3:14Speaker 1: you miss it, you know, usually run into some type
- 3:18Speaker 1: of wall and nothing happens. You slither down. You know.
- 3:22Speaker 1: In my book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I told her people that men love three ways. They profess,
- 3:28Speaker 1: they provide, they protect, and that's the core essence of
- 3:32Speaker 1: a man's love. Well, there's some other peas in life too.
- 3:37Speaker 1: The number one thing you have to understand about trying
- 3:41Speaker 1: to be successful, and I guess I call this the
- 3:45Speaker 1: four peas. I may come up with five along the way.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just talking as is given to me.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So I'm gonna summer start by saying, as these are
- 3:54Speaker 1: the four peas of success that you have to get
- 3:59Speaker 1: ready for. One, it's pressure. A lot of it is
- 4:04Speaker 1: applied by the circumstance of what you're trying to go
- 4:07Speaker 1: for and what you're trying to do, but a lot
- 4:12Speaker 1: of it also is self imposed pressure. It's what you
- 4:16Speaker 1: put on yourself to make it. It's a sense of urgency,
- 4:22Speaker 1: it's a sense of necessity. But pressure is the first
- 4:28Speaker 1: thing I want you to be ready for. And pressure
- 4:31Speaker 1: comes in a lot of different forms, but it's going
- 4:34Speaker 1: to be pressured. As an old saying that pressure buster pipe. See,
- 4:37Speaker 1: that's why most people turn around, because of the pressure
- 4:40Speaker 1: of trying to be successful. I want you to get
- 4:43Speaker 1: it in your mind that it is going to be
- 4:46Speaker 1: a pressure rized situation on your rise to the top. Pressure,
- 4:52Speaker 1: but understand that that it is what it is, is
- 4:55Speaker 1: not going to change. That's it. Prepare yourself, get ready
- 5:00Speaker 1: for there to be pressure. The second thing I want
- 5:05Speaker 1: you to understand is when you receive this pressure, you
- 5:09Speaker 1: have to persist. You got to stay at it. You
- 5:13Speaker 1: got to develop a dog getness has a There's a
- 5:20Speaker 1: song who says, why must I feel like that? Why
- 5:26Speaker 1: must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog in me?
- 5:32Speaker 1: That's a funny line in that song, because really I
- 5:36Speaker 1: was thinking about it one day. I was humming it
- 5:39Speaker 1: and and it, and it occurred to me, said, why
- 5:42Speaker 1: must I feel like that? Why must I chase the cat?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Nothing but the dog get me? And you know, now
- 5:51Speaker 1: you could take it in the literal says that the
- 5:53Speaker 1: cat chases the dog because it's innately is in his spirit.
- 5:57Speaker 1: That cats and dogs are a lot of times enemies.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Now people have pets in him, proving that if you
- 6:03Speaker 1: show love on both sides, they can exist. And that
- 6:06Speaker 1: happens too, but naturally innately, when your cat goes by
- 6:11Speaker 1: a dog, your dog don't recognize him, that some barking
- 6:14Speaker 1: going on. I'm talking about just walking through the neighborhood
- 6:17Speaker 1: or something. So, but the reason that this dog's so
- 6:22Speaker 1: persistent towards this cat is just cause it's in him.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's innately in him. And what I'm saying to you,
- 6:33Speaker 1: just using that as an analogy, is that you got
- 6:37Speaker 1: to be you got to be persistent in that. You
- 6:42Speaker 1: got to develop some dog in you now because pressure
- 6:47Speaker 1: takes some fighting back. See if you don't fight back
- 6:50Speaker 1: against pressure, pressure buster pipes, So what you think it
- 6:53Speaker 1: will do to you? Pressure, crack walls, pressure calls, explosions.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So if you don't fight back to hold it in,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you understand pressure does most people in the simple thing
- 7:06Speaker 1: called pressure, the weight of what it feels like to
- 7:10Speaker 1: want to be successful every single day, over and over
- 7:14Speaker 1: and over and over and over. It's just too much pressure.
- 7:17Speaker 1: People crack. You got to persist. You have to persist.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You can. The thought of giving up can come, but
- 7:26Speaker 1: you got to get it out. You gotta persist. The
- 7:31Speaker 1: next thing I want you to think about is another
- 7:35Speaker 1: something that I've been thinking about for years and learn
- 7:38Speaker 1: for years. It's called perseverance. To persist means to insist.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Its keyword in insist and persistence insists you must. You
- 7:51Speaker 1: must insist that this is going to happen. Now, the
- 7:54Speaker 1: persist I'm assuming means it's a proaction. It's some type
- 7:58Speaker 1: of proaction that you towards it to make it. You know, persist,
- 8:03Speaker 1: you gotta be persistent. You gotta be constantly at insisting
- 8:07Speaker 1: that it happens. You gotta be constantly at it. But
- 8:10Speaker 1: the next thing I want you to remember is perseverance.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Perseverance is important. Perseverance means that when you've done your best,
- 8:20Speaker 1: when you've persisted, when you're fighting back against the pressure.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Perseverance simply means I'm going to hang in here when
- 8:30Speaker 1: if a crack come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there.
- 8:34Speaker 1: If the pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going. If I
- 8:37Speaker 1: gotta put duct, take mud, whatever I got to put
- 8:42Speaker 1: on this thing. Man, I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going
- 8:47Speaker 1: to stay with it no matter what. So we're looking
- 8:51Speaker 1: at the three things again. You got to understand that
- 8:54Speaker 1: it's gonna be pressure that you're gonna have to persist
- 8:58Speaker 1: keyword and persistence in st You have to insist that
- 9:02Speaker 1: no matter what the pressure is, I'm gonna stay with it.
- 9:04Speaker 1: But then perseverance. If it goes wrong, Man, you got
- 9:09Speaker 1: to get in there and keep fighting. But then Lord
- 9:13Speaker 1: Him Mercy. Nothing helps you handle the three peas better
- 9:17Speaker 1: than the fourth pea. You got to pray. You got
- 9:20Speaker 1: to use prayer. You gotta talk to God. You gotta
- 9:24Speaker 1: use faith. You gotta have some conferences with him late
- 9:28Speaker 1: at night, early in the morning, in the middle of
- 9:31Speaker 1: the afternoon, when you own the train, when you're driving.
- 9:34Speaker 1: You got to talk to God. Man, you gotta get
- 9:37Speaker 1: yourself some help along the way. Nothing is bigger than prayer.
- 9:41Speaker 1: There is nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer will help you
- 9:44Speaker 1: overcome the pressure. Prayer will help you stay persistent, and
- 9:48Speaker 1: Lord Him Mercy, prayer will help you persevere. Them is
- 9:51Speaker 1: the faux peas. God gave that to me. I'm passing
- 9:56Speaker 1: it on show, ladies and gentleman. Surprise, surprise, the King
- 10:06Speaker 1: is broad. I just always wanted to say that, right,
- 10:14Speaker 1: yeahn't didn't have a meeting anyway. This is the Steve
- 10:17Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, and that's how I decided to start
- 10:20Speaker 1: it today. You may not like the way I start
- 10:23Speaker 1: the show, but you don't feel free to just hang
- 10:25Speaker 1: in there because one of them you're gonna like. I
- 10:28Speaker 1: can promise you that you're gonna one of these. You're
- 10:31Speaker 1: gonna go, oh, he ought to do that every morning.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Now I ain't gonna do that, but you're gonna want
- 10:35Speaker 1: of them. You're gonna go, boy, that's the one I
- 10:37Speaker 1: really like. I hope you do that again. I'll probably
- 10:40Speaker 1: never do it again. I don't do nothing twice, right,
- 10:44Speaker 1: But but revel in that moment when you get it,
- 10:48Speaker 1: like some people like this opening right here, when you
- 10:51Speaker 1: think of love, gotta get it on your mind. You
- 10:57Speaker 1: come when you think of gotta get it, don't your mind,
- 11:06Speaker 1: when you think of God, get it your mind. Seeing
- 11:27Speaker 1: some people like that one, some people can't stand. But
- 11:32Speaker 1: don't worry because I ain't gonna do it. Tommy so
- 11:39Speaker 1: crazy halla for real hasy. What's happening to CHRL? What
- 11:47Speaker 1: up there? Junior? Morning? Morning fan? How y'all doing ladies
- 11:51Speaker 1: and gentlemen? Jams and brown? He's here of mister hoddy
- 12:00Speaker 1: Tommy celebrate her birthday? What is it fifty? His birthday
- 12:07Speaker 1: is actually well, he's fifty three, but he took off today.
- 12:10Speaker 1: He's fifty three. Short years. You guys are ten years apart, Steve,
- 12:19Speaker 1: What canny cake will he use to celebrate? Well? His
- 12:27Speaker 1: stars with strawberry and then it is a shoutcake? It up, Jake.
- 12:39Speaker 1: One time for Tommy's birthday, we gave him a hosted
- 12:44Speaker 1: ding down and put a candle on it and told
- 12:47Speaker 1: him it was his birthday because it was. It was
- 12:49Speaker 1: big enough for him, such a big cake. He got
- 12:53Speaker 1: kill you, ruining, hey, hold on, and when he gets enough,
- 13:01Speaker 1: And then when he turned ten, we put ten candles
- 13:04Speaker 1: in a honey barn. He was overjoy. We didn't start
- 13:11Speaker 1: making him regular sized cakes till he was twenty five.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Enough enough, Oh now he gonna drop a lie. You're here, Yes,
- 13:28Speaker 1: enough is enough. We've had out fun. Let's stop now, okay, briffs,
- 13:34Speaker 1: all right, guys coming up with thirty two minutes after
- 13:36Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have asked the CLO with the Chief
- 13:39Speaker 1: Love Officers Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, time now for asked the CLO.
- 13:50Speaker 1: The Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey is in the building.
- 13:54Speaker 1: This one is from Jerry in Kansas City. Jerry, Right, So,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I'm dating a woman that I met at work, and
- 13:59Speaker 1: I no longer work with her. She was the finest
- 14:02Speaker 1: woman I'd ever seen, but I didn't approach her because
- 14:05Speaker 1: everyone else at work tried to get at her. We've
- 14:08Speaker 1: been dating for a while now, but I always feel
- 14:11Speaker 1: like she's up to something. I can't touch her phone,
- 14:14Speaker 1: looking her purse, or come in the bathroom when she's
- 14:16Speaker 1: in there. I respect her space, but it's just odd
- 14:20Speaker 1: how she locks the bathroom door every time. I'm starting
- 14:23Speaker 1: to think she has something to hide. I'm forty seven
- 14:26Speaker 1: and she's thirty five. So is this how younger women act? Well,
- 14:30Speaker 1: hold of dolt, you're tripping cause she locked the bathroom.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I locked the bathroom in time I go in the
- 14:38Speaker 1: dog because I don't like nobody walking in on me
- 14:41Speaker 1: when I'm in a bath food. It's just something about
- 14:44Speaker 1: your pass round your ankles. That's just it's unnerving and
- 14:49Speaker 1: we all need our private moment. Yeah, it ain't no
- 14:51Speaker 1: way to look cool with your pass down around your ankles.
- 14:55Speaker 1: It ain't know what you can't. You can't snap it.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Nobody shot the damn dope. You can't do no to that. Hey,
- 15:01Speaker 1: come on, now, come on, come on. Because you humble
- 15:05Speaker 1: because they slap you, it ain't nothing you can do. So, dog,
- 15:08Speaker 1: I don't know why you tripping about her locking the
- 15:12Speaker 1: door and you know you can't touch your phone. Dog,
- 15:17Speaker 1: what you're tripping for? Well? Going her purse. That's a rule.
- 15:20Speaker 1: You don't know. You don't go into woman's purse. I
- 15:23Speaker 1: don't go in Margie's purse to this day, I still don't.
- 15:27Speaker 1: That don't mean she up to nothing. She don't want
- 15:29Speaker 1: me in her purse, right, I think he's a little insecure, Steve.
- 15:34Speaker 1: He said he's forty seven and she's thirty five. I
- 15:37Speaker 1: don't want Margie going in my wallet and my pouch.
- 15:40Speaker 1: And so if anybody can get her to stop, just
- 15:43Speaker 1: tell her from me. This is not about you. Yes,
- 15:50Speaker 1: I can't go in her damn damn purse, but she
- 15:53Speaker 1: can go up my wallet and take money out whenever
- 15:55Speaker 1: she needs. That's where the money resides. So, bro, I
- 16:02Speaker 1: don't know really what you're tripping for. Man? Is this
- 16:04Speaker 1: how young women? No? Man, but I don't what old
- 16:08Speaker 1: man wants to go in the bathroom. She got the
- 16:10Speaker 1: dough lock partner, she locks the dough Yeah, it's nothing
- 16:15Speaker 1: wrong with that. I'm sorry. And it's just a woman thing.
- 16:17Speaker 1: It's not a young woman thing. It's just a woman
- 16:19Speaker 1: thing dating the girl. How about that? You scared? All? Right?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Here we go? Uh? Moving on? Brenda and Maryland says.
- 16:31Speaker 1: My ex boyfriend and I split up a month ago
- 16:33Speaker 1: and the rental house is in my name. We just
- 16:37Speaker 1: signed another lease right before we broke up. He's got
- 16:40Speaker 1: another woman staying in the house with him already, and
- 16:43Speaker 1: it's getting under my skin. The lady's car is in
- 16:46Speaker 1: my garage and she put some sort of cute flag
- 16:49Speaker 1: out on the front porch. I don't want him back,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but I do want that lady out of a house
- 16:54Speaker 1: that's in my name. If I tell the landlord, I
- 16:58Speaker 1: would have to pay extra to terminate the lease early house.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Should I handle this? Well? You don't want him back?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Is he paying the rent? That's the question. If he's
- 17:13Speaker 1: paying all the rent and you don't want him back,
- 17:18Speaker 1: what difference do it make to you who in now
- 17:21Speaker 1: as long as you get in the house paid for
- 17:24Speaker 1: or is it that he's paying his half or are
- 17:27Speaker 1: you trying to use it as a as a rental
- 17:31Speaker 1: property and you can't rent it. I don't understand what
- 17:34Speaker 1: she wants. Yeah, I don't get it. I don't understand
- 17:38Speaker 1: sherley what I mean. Okay, so it's a rental house.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Is she renting the house or is it a house
- 17:44Speaker 1: that she owns that she's renting out. Now, if it's
- 17:47Speaker 1: both in y'all's name and it's a rental house, but
- 17:50Speaker 1: he's staying there and he's paying the rent in the
- 17:53Speaker 1: rental house, but it's in your name, you don't want
- 17:56Speaker 1: him back, but you don't want the woman. Now, well
- 17:58Speaker 1: that that ain't high as So they're renting a house
- 18:02Speaker 1: because she said if she tells the landlord, so they
- 18:05Speaker 1: don't own it. They're just renting the house. She'll have
- 18:08Speaker 1: to pay extra to terminate the lease. This is stupid,
- 18:13Speaker 1: This makes no sense. So I don't know if she's
- 18:15Speaker 1: paying half of it because they both signed. Now, if
- 18:19Speaker 1: she's paying half of it and they both signed. That's
- 18:22Speaker 1: why she's mad. Yeah, but she didn't say that. It's
- 18:26Speaker 1: in both of them's name, right, Yeah, because she has
- 18:30Speaker 1: signed it right before they broke up. That's risky though
- 18:35Speaker 1: it is. It is risky because it's in her name.
- 18:39Speaker 1: The house is in her name. She should just tell
- 18:41Speaker 1: pay the extra, determinate the lease early. And he's staying there.
- 18:45Speaker 1: She probably left because they broke up. Well, he didn't
- 18:49Speaker 1: want to be there. Well, they won't leave, won't you
- 18:51Speaker 1: put both of them out? Yeah? If it's in her name,
- 18:54Speaker 1: she could do that. Yeah, because it's her credit. That's
- 18:57Speaker 1: gonna so you had to save your perfect Yeah, I say,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I say get out of the lease. I say, if
- 19:05Speaker 1: it's not too much to terminate the lease, get out
- 19:08Speaker 1: of it and let them have it. Get your name too.
- 19:12Speaker 1: She might risk that too. Just because she terminated doesn't
- 19:15Speaker 1: mean it's not gonna affect our credit. Yeah, that's yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean, it ain't tough for me. You know you're
- 19:25Speaker 1: gonna get out of mind. Yeah, I just can't tell. Yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 1: she shouldn't have left in the first place. Yeah, all right,
- 19:32Speaker 1: here's qt in Charlotte saying I'm a DJ at a
- 19:35Speaker 1: lounge that's tucked away in a trendy area of town.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I just got the gig, and it suits me better
- 19:40Speaker 1: than the younger crowd I used to work with. I
- 19:43Speaker 1: was working last Friday and I noticed my best friend's
- 19:46Speaker 1: boyfriend came in with another girl. I felt like being messy,
- 19:50Speaker 1: so midway through my set, I started calling out names,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and I shouted him out and said, I see you
- 19:56Speaker 1: over there, player. I could tell that U. He couldn't
- 20:00Speaker 1: really figure out who I was, and he didn't know
- 20:02Speaker 1: I worked there. He paid for their drinks and they left.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Do I casually mention this to my best friend or not?
- 20:09Speaker 1: So his best friend is a girl. The girl's boyfriend
- 20:14Speaker 1: came in with another girl, And now you want to
- 20:17Speaker 1: tell the girl what kind of punk ass stuff is that? Dad?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Or keep your now? I am nothing. What kind of
- 20:29Speaker 1: punk ass stuff is day? Dad? You're gonna tell this
- 20:34Speaker 1: girl you saw man? Just DJ? Mind your damn business
- 20:40Speaker 1: a DJ. All right, we gotta go. Thank you, Fielo.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Coming up next, church complaints with Reverend Motown and Reverend
- 20:48Speaker 1: Adnoid and for dickon Depth Jam. Right after this. You're listening,
- 20:53Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 20:56Speaker 1: the hour. Miss Anna standing by with our national news.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But it's time now for some laughter and some crazy fun.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Here at church complaints with Reverend Motown and Reverend adnoid
- 21:08Speaker 1: In for Deacon deaf Jam. We have a difference here today.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You can tell by the heavy breathing that death Jam
- 21:23Speaker 1: is not here. That breathing that you're hearing is coming
- 21:30Speaker 1: from my brother who is a pastor himself at a
- 21:36Speaker 1: very very very small congregation. Oh it's super small. Anybody
- 21:44Speaker 1: sitting through this, ladies and gentlemen to handle church complaints.
- 21:49Speaker 1: My oldest brother, real madd Nor boy here m chastis
- 21:58Speaker 1: at church complaints. We are looking at your nick Zoom.
- 22:12Speaker 1: We can see that here we go, Here we go,
- 22:14Speaker 1: Here we go. Right. This is our second time book
- 22:18Speaker 1: of them on the Zoom show that we do, Zoom
- 22:20Speaker 1: Church Show that we do. And the Blurred Vision Boys
- 22:24Speaker 1: from Alabama has canceled their second engagement because they could
- 22:29Speaker 1: not find their way here. So the Blood Vision Boys
- 22:33Speaker 1: of Alabama, what would you like to do with them?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Would you like to book them again? I'm trying to
- 22:38Speaker 1: figure out how to hell they can't find their way again.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I've had the Five Blind Boys of Alabama for twenty
- 22:47Speaker 1: straight years in the row show up. Now we got
- 22:50Speaker 1: the Blood Vision Boys of Zoom and they can't find
- 22:54Speaker 1: their way to this church. I do not understand. Twenty
- 23:02Speaker 1: five years, the five Blind Boys from Alabama were all time,
- 23:06Speaker 1: no problem. Every year we've had Stephen wanted to come
- 23:12Speaker 1: in and play synthesize a form. We've had a Jose
- 23:15Speaker 1: Felisiano playing funk good time form ben. We even had
- 23:20Speaker 1: a track from Rachel Yeah, okay, and I'll be damned
- 23:25Speaker 1: the Blind Vision boys. See the young ass boys ain't

- 23:37Speaker 1: Sister Sarah would like to know would you like to
- 23:40Speaker 1: lay hands on her baby? Her baby looks like he
- 23:43Speaker 1: needs a nap. Would you like to come over and
- 23:45Speaker 1: bless her baby? He looks like he needs a nap.
- 23:50Speaker 1: The baby looks very tired. Are you willing to go
- 23:52Speaker 1: with it and lay hands on the baby and bless him?
- 23:56Speaker 1: He looks I've seen the baby and she bought him
- 23:59Speaker 1: the church and I had a very special Benjamin Butch
- 24:02Speaker 1: prayer for him because the Lord, that baby looked old,
- 24:08Speaker 1: and I think it's more than the NAPTI baby need that, Nord.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I know you're my older brother. You've seen this baby,
- 24:17Speaker 1: Lord him, I've seen the baby. This baby looks so tired.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I mean, this baby looks like he's working an eight
- 24:23Speaker 1: hour shift. And this baby is just tired. I mean,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, though I saw him, he looked
- 24:30Speaker 1: like an exhausted et, an exhausted et. He looked like
- 24:36Speaker 1: he had been petting that bike all around the world.
- 24:41Speaker 1: This baby looks so damn. I mean, this baby makes
- 24:45Speaker 1: you tired. By looking at this baby, you and you
- 24:49Speaker 1: know you owned something. Now, Nord I yawned three times
- 24:54Speaker 1: right there, looking at him while I was praying the
- 24:59Speaker 1: et over. Okay, we have a group in the church
- 25:07Speaker 1: called White Wives Matter, White Wives Matter, and they're complaining
- 25:12Speaker 1: that none of the sisters in the church will eat
- 25:15Speaker 1: their colored greens. Is that anything you can do for
- 25:18Speaker 1: the women of the church called White Wives Matter? Their
- 25:22Speaker 1: greens are still there. Nobody wants to touch them. Not
- 25:25Speaker 1: told him. I've told Cindy. I had Becky in the office,
- 25:32Speaker 1: I had Mary Anne in now Ann Elizabeth, and I've
- 25:37Speaker 1: explained to them. Stop trying to fit in with cooking.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Come in and try tutoring, but please stop cooking for
- 25:51Speaker 1: these black folks because white wives will never matter you.
- 25:57Speaker 1: First of all, you ain't got an ounce of meat
- 25:59Speaker 1: in the green and you seasoned it with dash, a
- 26:07Speaker 1: salt free substitute. You've ruined. I can't tell you how
- 26:13Speaker 1: many bunches of green and you don't cook them long enough.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You got the greens in here tasting like kale. Now
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna have one more talk with the White Wives
- 26:34Speaker 1: Matter organization and PEO can't get to do you know,
- 26:39Speaker 1: come on, you come to the church and you know,
- 26:42Speaker 1: do pottery, you know, do some yard work. You're good
- 26:47Speaker 1: at that. You got your bonnets and everything. Don't don't
- 26:50Speaker 1: come in here cooking for black focus. We were also

- 27:10Speaker 1: and he had to be rushed to Graty hospital. We
- 27:12Speaker 1: want to know if you'd be willing to say a
- 27:15Speaker 1: prayer for him. No, I'm just gonna tell you that, No,
- 27:20Speaker 1: we're not. I told Carl when we was at church
- 27:26Speaker 1: softball game last week and he hit he hit up,
- 27:30Speaker 1: he had a nice ball out in the center field
- 27:34Speaker 1: and it was in the gap, and he never made
- 27:37Speaker 1: it the first base. They threw him out from the
- 27:41Speaker 1: out field, picked up the ball on the watering track,
- 27:44Speaker 1: and through his ass out of the first base because then,
- 27:47Speaker 1: damn skin of jeans, he couldn't get no stride. How
- 27:52Speaker 1: you hit one in the gap. They pick a softball
- 27:56Speaker 1: up from the warning track, relay it to sing the base,
- 28:00Speaker 1: and they get your ass out at first base. We
- 28:09Speaker 1: were down that running like one or the white wives. Okay,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you know that there's a shortage on gas. There's a

- 31:14Speaker 1: just for them when they come in there. And we
- 31:17Speaker 1: had that. I can't tell you what it is because
- 31:20Speaker 1: people go down there copy. Yeah, and then you know,

- 33:25Speaker 1: close to two hundred, while the Jewish state reports ten dead.
- 33:29Speaker 1: The United Nations Security Council conveni yesterday to discuss the
- 33:32Speaker 1: ongoing hostilities over there and how to hopefully bring an
- 33:34Speaker 1: end to them. The City of Columbus, Ohio, has reached
- 33:38Speaker 1: a ten million dollars settlement with the family of Andrea Hill,
- 33:42Speaker 1: the unarmed black man shot to death by white cops
- 33:44Speaker 1: as he came out of his own garage with both
- 33:47Speaker 1: hands raised, one of them holding a rectangular cell phone
- 33:50Speaker 1: rectangular so look nothing like a gun. And the settlement
- 33:54Speaker 1: is the highest ever paid by the City Columbus for
- 33:56Speaker 1: a wrongful death. The City Council Columbus, scheduled to vote

- 34:02Speaker 1: criticized by some and cheered by others over his remarks
- 34:06Speaker 1: of our last year's Police Week at the time when
- 34:08Speaker 1: law enforcement officers are to be honored. Mister Biden's proclamation reads,
- 34:12Speaker 1: in part, this year, even as the COVID nineteen pandemic
- 34:15Speaker 1: took a physical, mental, and emotional toll, our officers, adeputies
- 34:19Speaker 1: and troopers demonstrated courage and dedication, and we honor those
- 34:22Speaker 1: who lost their lives in the line of duty and
- 34:24Speaker 1: thanked them on behalf of the grateful nation. This year,
- 34:27Speaker 1: we also recognize that in many of our communities, especially
- 34:30Speaker 1: black and brown communities, there's a deep sense of distrust
- 34:33Speaker 1: toward law enforcement, which has been exacerbated by the recent
- 34:36Speaker 1: deaths of several black and brown people at the hands
- 34:39Speaker 1: of law enforcement, resulting in a profound fear, trauma, pain,
- 34:42Speaker 1: and exhaustion from many black and brown Americans. Doctor Anthony
- 34:46Speaker 1: Fauci was the commencement speaker this weekend at Embery University.
- 34:50Speaker 1: He's urging graduates there to hopefully focused on fixing what
- 34:53Speaker 1: the COVID pandemic revealed unacceptable disparities and helped experience by
- 34:57Speaker 1: minority groups, especially An Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans and
- 35:02Speaker 1: doctor Fauch. You also told the graduates that wherever possible,
- 35:05Speaker 1: they should all fight against inequality, whether personally or professionally.
- 35:09Speaker 1: The guy who crowdfunded twenty five million dollars to build
- 35:12Speaker 1: Donald Trump's border role wrote border wall just got and
- 35:16Speaker 1: died if a tax fraud. The guy's name is Brian Colephage.
- 35:19Speaker 1: He founded We Build a Wall with trump buddy Steve Bannon.
- 35:23Speaker 1: He's been charged with a tax case. New York grand
- 35:25Speaker 1: jury separately found the crowdfunding effort to be fraudulent in
- 35:28Speaker 1: August of last year, and then Trump partnered Steve Bannon,
- 35:31Speaker 1: but he didn't pardon this other guy. Finally, in China
- 35:33Speaker 1: already say that a student found a mistake in KFC's
- 35:36Speaker 1: app which allowed her to order him rather to order
- 35:39Speaker 1: unlimited amounts of chicken and no charge. So he told
- 35:42Speaker 1: a few friends about In between them, they order about
- 35:44Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars worth of chicken in two years. The
- 35:47Speaker 1: student sents to two years in jail. My question is
- 35:49Speaker 1: who can eat that much chicken anyway, even if it
- 35:52Speaker 1: is free. I don't know. I mean, I like chicken
- 35:54Speaker 1: as much as the next person. Going to come on
- 35:56Speaker 1: now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 35:59Speaker 1: to see, please introduce your friend, Uh, mister Brown, folks,
- 36:07Speaker 1: he's here, Jay Anthony Brown. You know you always called
- 36:13Speaker 1: me bitter. In fact, you gave me the name bitter man.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I'm run with it, Thank you so much. It's a
- 36:19Speaker 1: Monica enjoyed being confident. So what I put together is
- 36:23Speaker 1: situations in life that are just fed up you. I'm
- 36:28Speaker 1: gonna set it up, and these are situations in life
- 36:32Speaker 1: that did you straight after up. For instance, you're eighteen
- 36:36Speaker 1: years old. You're eighteen years old, you're living with your auntie.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Your auntie says you can bring your little girlfriend over
- 36:43Speaker 1: and entertain, but she sits her ass in the living
- 36:47Speaker 1: room and watches wrastling all damn night while you got counting.
- 36:55Speaker 1: That's fed up. That's completely that's the only damn TV. Yeah,
- 37:02Speaker 1: with the flow the flow model. She's sitting there, right
- 37:06Speaker 1: there in between you and the girl. She's sitting there. Yeah,
- 37:10Speaker 1: that's completely effed up. But here's another one. Yeah, fft up,
- 37:15Speaker 1: that's completely one. Your best friend borrowed some money from you,
- 37:23Speaker 1: he passed away. At the funeral, you go ask the
- 37:28Speaker 1: widow about money that your partner owes you. That's completely
- 37:35Speaker 1: fft up. That's just you got that has happened. Well,
- 37:48Speaker 1: not to me, but I was at a funeral where
- 37:50Speaker 1: it happened at all. When we got outside, they damnly
- 37:53Speaker 1: needed another casket. The timing of it all. Brother, Yeah,
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry, sorry about your loss. But the dude walked
- 38:08Speaker 1: past the casket, been over to the mother and said,
- 38:12Speaker 1: you know, I'm sorry for your loss, but I wouldn't
- 38:14Speaker 1: know if I could come by and get this money
- 38:17Speaker 1: that he had old me. Her other son was sitting
- 38:22Speaker 1: next to him because that was his brother in the casket.
- 38:24Speaker 1: When they got outside, he had he almost killed this
- 38:27Speaker 1: dude one more. You ordered your last meal on death row,
- 38:34Speaker 1: your last meal. You got the stake, broccoli, potatoes, pie whatever.
- 38:39Speaker 1: The dad, the execute you knew the awarden, the guard says,
- 38:44Speaker 1: we didn't make the order for your last meal. And
- 38:47Speaker 1: now the kitchen his clothes. That is the man that yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 1: you don't do people like that. Yeah I ain't, so
- 39:00Speaker 1: look man, you didn't. And what a fool man. I'm
- 39:07Speaker 1: in the kitchen and that's yup. That's coming up. In
- 39:15Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour we'll talk about Bill
- 39:18Speaker 1: Gates and him hooking up with a woman at at work.
- 39:22Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this you're listening to, Well,
- 39:29Speaker 1: it's good news. I guess that Bill Gates and his
- 39:31Speaker 1: wife Melinda have now filed for divorce because the stories
- 39:36Speaker 1: are leaking now that, um, you know he shot shot
- 39:39Speaker 1: as Um, I guess he hit on. He holloed at
- 39:43Speaker 1: a woman at his job, okay, or yeah, that he
- 39:48Speaker 1: worked with. Yeah. So I've been trying to read about
- 39:52Speaker 1: the story. So basically Shirley Steve guys. Okay, so they
- 39:57Speaker 1: said that it was in back in two thousand and six,
- 39:59Speaker 1: a female Microsoft employee, Um, they went, he emailed her
- 40:05Speaker 1: and asked her out to dinner. He emailed her he
- 40:07Speaker 1: should know of all people about the email paper tray
- 40:12Speaker 1: when you were genius? Is stupid or just the marriage
- 40:18Speaker 1: was just over at this point and he didn't give
- 40:20Speaker 1: a darn Yeah, and then he followed up with it
- 40:25Speaker 1: if Bills Bill Gates hadn't realized how much money he got,
- 40:33Speaker 1: he shouldn't have to be doing that much hollering at nobody.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I mean that, no damn body here, two hundred billion dollars.
- 40:43Speaker 1: But his rap game is way off. You're right, he's
- 40:47Speaker 1: a nerd. He's a nerd. Well, well, well, well I
- 40:51Speaker 1: bet she haullered back. Yeah. Well, then there's another time, guys.
- 40:58Speaker 1: He went to New York City and there was a
- 41:01Speaker 1: woman that worked for his foundation, the Bill and Melinda
- 41:04Speaker 1: Gates Foundation, and they attended a cocktail party. So the
- 41:08Speaker 1: woman says that Bill lowered his voice and said I
- 41:12Speaker 1: want to see you. Will you have dinner with me?
- 41:15Speaker 1: And she said she laughed it off and avoid answering him.
- 41:20Speaker 1: You know, okay, Steve, you be Bill Kate? How did
- 41:22Speaker 1: he say it? Jay? You beat the woman? You know?
- 41:29Speaker 1: She like first he was at the thing. I want
- 41:31Speaker 1: to thank everybody for coming. It's been great, so thank
- 41:35Speaker 1: you all. Enjoy your dinner. Yeah, excuse me, um, Alison,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I I um was sitting here pondering maybe you'd like
- 41:49Speaker 1: too all. H yeah, I don't know. I don't know
- 41:52Speaker 1: if you eat or not, but I thought maybe you
- 41:56Speaker 1: know you and I could, I you know, get something
- 41:58Speaker 1: to eat, maybe dinner. Sometimes I'd love to see you. Huh.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Come on, okay, come on sure, all right, look ahead.
- 42:10Speaker 1: First of all, Bill Gates got that much money, you
- 42:12Speaker 1: have the DJ make an announcement. Man, have your attention please.
- 42:17Speaker 1: The richest man in the world is in the club.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Let me repeat, the richest man in the entire world
- 42:29Speaker 1: is in the damn club. Okay, ladies, he's right over there. Okay,
- 42:35Speaker 1: that's all you gotta do. Bill. You you try too hard, man,
- 42:38Speaker 1: You try to hard so so s so Shirley. I
- 42:42Speaker 1: walk up on you and here I go, so m hey,

- 44:04Speaker 1: and buy two monkeys each. One of you bring two markets.
- 44:10Speaker 1: It's gonna be great. You're gonna give me three more millions.

- 45:18Speaker 1: boot Yeah, I'm trying to get in there and get
- 45:21Speaker 1: the cutting. Now you now how much you charge for
- 45:24Speaker 1: bootfronts on a weekly basis two hundred dollars a week,

- 46:35Speaker 1: Oh well, yes what you mightn't cut the hand. It

- 47:57Speaker 1: I need you to be able to see what you're doing.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I mean, I don't care, but you bein't able to
- 48:00Speaker 1: cut no halt being blind. You got to be able
- 48:03Speaker 1: to see to do that. This could probably do to
- 48:05Speaker 1: do wonders for your shot. People to come from miles
- 48:08Speaker 1: around to see somebody like myself cutting the hair that
- 48:12Speaker 1: kind of in my shot? Did you hear what I said?
- 48:15Speaker 1: I heard what you said. What I don't want you

- 49:36Speaker 1: goodn't manney won't. I'll be waiting on you. I'm coming
- 49:40Speaker 1: down that this eating then I'm coming and I'm coming
- 49:43Speaker 1: to up y'all because you got the nerve the discriminade
- 49:46Speaker 1: gives me. I don't know. I ain't got my coming
- 49:50Speaker 1: to fire. But who came you? Mother? No, you're nothing
- 49:54Speaker 1: daring hot fish. You frame of the call myney more
- 50:00Speaker 1: they give me. They give me this number and say
- 50:02Speaker 1: you is the one that do the hiring round the

- 50:41Speaker 1: timing from the Steve Harving Morning Show. You just got
- 50:45Speaker 1: pranked by your cousin. I'm man, you ain't no good Hey, mister,
- 50:59Speaker 1: I got to add you. Man, what is the baddest
- 51:02Speaker 1: I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 51:05Speaker 1: the Steve Harvd moaning show boy. He man, Man, that's
- 51:19Speaker 1: can't you set up a ramp and put your phone
- 51:21Speaker 1: in breath? My man? What does I gotta do all
- 51:26Speaker 1: that for? Ton'd y'all come down to the field. My

- 51:40Speaker 1: gonna feel my web around was one of these booths,
- 51:42Speaker 1: and I'm gonna get the cuttany. You ain't got no license.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Now you gotta get the lights. He was like, come on, really,
- 51:55Speaker 1: come down here with that me. You ain't doing that.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I've been him. You gotta be able to see what
- 51:59Speaker 1: you're doing. O't coming down letter with your how you
- 52:02Speaker 1: you can't see me. But the other old black dude
- 52:07Speaker 1: was just as logical as he couldn't be. You can't
- 52:12Speaker 1: see me, yeah, coming down, People gonna come from Mars
- 52:19Speaker 1: around to see me. What I'm going to do for
- 52:22Speaker 1: your business. You didn't even do that up in him.
- 52:26Speaker 1: But the reason he thought he could cut here because
- 52:28Speaker 1: he's been cutting his own hair for ten years. But
- 52:31Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You can't see and you
- 52:33Speaker 1: try to cut your own hair, it's hard to do
- 52:35Speaker 1: that when you can look in the mirror. Yea. In
- 52:38Speaker 1: his defensess, we've all had headcuts where you could have
- 52:40Speaker 1: sworn the Barbara was blind. And now let me tell
- 52:48Speaker 1: you something. When I first got into comedy, I didn't understand.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I was in the mall in Atlanta and I passed
- 52:55Speaker 1: by a place called super Cuts and they had just
- 52:58Speaker 1: got started. So I said, man, I need a haircut.
- 53:01Speaker 1: I wanted to Supercards. It was two black people in there.
- 53:06Speaker 1: They called my name. I sat down at a white
- 53:08Speaker 1: person and boiling me tell you, so, this lady cut
- 53:12Speaker 1: my handboard. I look so crazy. When I left, I
- 53:16Speaker 1: went back in that complain and the black lady said,
- 53:18Speaker 1: come over here, baby, sit down, let me try to
- 53:20Speaker 1: strain yourself. Why did you let this white woman cut
- 53:23Speaker 1: your hand? All y'all cutting? Yeah, I had that happened
- 53:29Speaker 1: too long. I've had that anything happen, All right, Thank you, junior.

- 54:06Speaker 1: It could be yours. You never know. All right, ladies
- 54:09Speaker 1: and Gentlemen's time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend,
- 54:11Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry. Thank you, Junior. Subject my mama saw the video.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Just Stephen, Shirley. I'm a thirty four years old and
- 54:20Speaker 1: I've been dating a sexy chocolate man for four years.
- 54:24Speaker 1: We have a very active sex life, and during the lockdown,
- 54:27Speaker 1: we started spicing things up and filming our exploits around
- 54:31Speaker 1: the house. He's very kinky and liked it when I
- 54:34Speaker 1: dominate him and tie him up. We have a three
- 54:38Speaker 1: year old son, and because of the lockdown, my mother
- 54:40Speaker 1: hasn't been able to see him for almost a year.
- 54:44Speaker 1: She told me, no matter what my son does, she
- 54:47Speaker 1: wants pictures or videos because she misses him so much.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I go through my phone almost daily and send any
- 54:54Speaker 1: photos or videos I have of him and send them
- 54:57Speaker 1: to my mother because I know that if I don't,
- 55:00Speaker 1: you'll start hounding me and bugging me NonStop for them.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Yesterday I was sending her videos and I accidentally selected
- 55:07Speaker 1: one of my boyfriend and I having crazy sex. I
- 55:11Speaker 1: sent it to her, along with some videos of my
- 55:13Speaker 1: son playing and saying hi to his grandma, and I
- 55:17Speaker 1: didn't even realize it until it was too late. I
- 55:21Speaker 1: tried calling. I know, I tried calling to tell her
- 55:25Speaker 1: not to play any of the videos, but she didn't answer.
- 55:28Speaker 1: She lived several states away, so there was no way
- 55:32Speaker 1: for me to go to her and take the phone
- 55:34Speaker 1: before she saw it. I was hyperventilating and got me hyperventilating,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and my boyfriend told me to just calm down and
- 55:42Speaker 1: that everything would be okay, But it wasn't. The next day,
- 55:46Speaker 1: when I woke up, I had a dozen misscalls from
- 55:49Speaker 1: my mom, my dad, and my auntie. Not only did
- 55:53Speaker 1: my mom get the video, but she watched it while
- 55:56Speaker 1: she was at my auntie's house and both of them
- 56:00Speaker 1: freaked out. I have never been more embarrassed or ashamed
- 56:05Speaker 1: in my entire life. And all of my family has
- 56:08Speaker 1: seen this or know about it. Will they ever respect
- 56:12Speaker 1: me or my boyfriend again? He was ready to propose,
- 56:16Speaker 1: but we're scared. Well you may as well now. They
- 56:20Speaker 1: can't say too much at least if you're married, I mean,
- 56:22Speaker 1: if he's the right one. Don't be scared now. And
- 56:26Speaker 1: you know what, I knew this was gonna be bad.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I knew it was when I saw mama and video
- 56:32Speaker 1: in the same sentence. There's no good that could come
- 56:35Speaker 1: out of that. There's just no good. And I'm gonna
- 56:38Speaker 1: be real with you as always and tell you that sorry,
- 56:41Speaker 1: there's just nothing you can do about this right now.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Nothing is out there. Your folks have seen it, they've
- 56:47Speaker 1: analyzed it, they've judged you. The whole family has seen it,
- 56:52Speaker 1: and they can't unsee this. Whatever was on that tape.
- 56:55Speaker 1: They can't unsee it. No parent, no parent wants to
- 57:00Speaker 1: see their kid like this. They just don't. And kids
- 57:03Speaker 1: don't even want us, you know, think that their parents
- 57:05Speaker 1: are having sex. You know, that's just how that goes.
- 57:09Speaker 1: But all you can do now is just to move
- 57:13Speaker 1: forward because life does go on. You can't do any
- 57:16Speaker 1: more videos. I wouldn't suggest that with you and your
- 57:19Speaker 1: man for just don't especially on your phone. You know.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I would offer a heartfelt apology to my parents. That's it.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I mean, you don't own anyone else in the family anything.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I mean, I would ask for forgiveness for sending it
- 57:33Speaker 1: and know that time heals everything, It heals all wounds.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Hopefully this is included in that It's not going to
- 57:41Speaker 1: happen today or tomorrow, because it's going to take some time.
- 57:45Speaker 1: You got to forgive yourself check and triple triple quadruple
- 57:50Speaker 1: check from now on before you even touch your phone
- 57:54Speaker 1: and press that sin button. You have to check because
- 57:59Speaker 1: you got yourself in a world of trouble. I mean,
- 58:01Speaker 1: you didn't kill anyone you know or anything like that.
- 58:04Speaker 1: You didn't rob a bank. You were just having crazy, kinky,
- 58:07Speaker 1: freaky sex with your man on film and you send
- 58:10Speaker 1: it to your mom. Okay, which was terrible enough, but
- 58:14Speaker 1: your parents definitely didn't need to be seeing that. So
- 58:16Speaker 1: it's gonna take a while. I don't know if they'll
- 58:19Speaker 1: ever forgive you or get over it, but you know
- 58:22Speaker 1: it will lessen as time goes by, hopefully, Steve, I
- 58:30Speaker 1: completely disagree with everything Shirley Strawberry just said. Now I know, Shirley,
- 58:42Speaker 1: it's giving you the sound advice. Shirley is giving you
- 58:48Speaker 1: the normal advice. Shirley is telling you what regular people
- 58:53Speaker 1: should do and how to handle it when you're dealing
- 58:57Speaker 1: with regular people. What I'm about to tell you, I
- 59:03Speaker 1: am just telling you flat out it's not normal what
- 59:06Speaker 1: I'm about to say. I don't expect anybody to understand
- 59:12Speaker 1: what I'm about to say, and I know what I'm
- 59:16Speaker 1: about to say may start off not sounding popular. When
- 59:21Speaker 1: we come back, I'm gonna show you a total re enactment.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Oh oh, don't ever bring it up. Don't mention the
- 59:33Speaker 1: damn video. Act like you ain't seen it all the
- 59:39Speaker 1: miss messages. Call your mama back and say, hey mama,
- 59:45Speaker 1: hey girl, how you doing. Did you get the videos
- 59:48Speaker 1: at the baby that ain't all I got, girl? Their
- 59:54Speaker 1: videos about Louis or not? Did you see the one
- 59:58Speaker 1: where where he was lipping them cars over so crazy?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Don't bring it up. Have your boyfriend asked for your
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: hand in marriage anyway? Don't ever mention it at track.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: You ain't send it when they started talking about it.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: You don't know what the hell she talking about. Well
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: we come back. I'm gonna give you a total re
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: enactment of how to handle it. What you mean, my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: mama saw the video is the subject of myself letter
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: for it today. She didn't. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour right after this.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, we got
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: a recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is my mama
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: saw the video. Let's go Steve. This grandmother because of COVID,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: ain't seen her grandson. This woman is thirty four years
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Her and her boyfriend have a lot of kinky sex.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: So the mother told her to send him any pictures
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: of video. She's sending stuff every day, and so the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: sexton got so canky theater and started video in it. Well,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: it were inadvertently she accidentally sent her mama not only
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: the videos of a little baby, but she also sent
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the mama video a video of her and a boyfriend
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: having sex. After she sent it, she realized it. She
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: started hyperventilating, panicking. Her boyfriend told her, don't wear everything,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Gonna be all right. She woke up. She had a
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: dozen misscalls from her mama, her dad, and her auntie.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Not only did my mom get the video, but she
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: watched it while she was at my auntie's house and
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: both of them freaked out. I've never been more embarrassed
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and ashamed in my entire life. All of my family
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: has seen this or know about it. Would ever respect
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: me or my boyfriend again? He was ready to poll pos,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: but we're scared. Shirley's response was in a nutshell, apologized
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: never film again. Shirley gave a wonderful regular people answer.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: My answer is, don't bring it up, call her back,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: don't answer no questions about this video. Just talk about
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: the baby in the video. If they bring up the video,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: you don't know what the hell they're talking about. Have
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: your boyfriend asked for your hand in marriage? And y'all
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: never ever bring it up. And if you don't know
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: how to do it. Here's a reenactment. Shirley is going
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: to be the mother. I'm the girl in the video.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: But I'm gonna show you how to answer the question.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Jay is my daddy and Junior is my uncle. They've
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: all seen the video and they have questions and I'm
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: gonna show you how to handle it. This is the
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: re enactment. Phone is ringing, Hello, baby, This is mama, Hey, mama, girl,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: how you been. Did you get the little up? Did
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you get the videos of Bana? Yeah, ain't all that girl,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: He's mamma. Ain't even cutest little thing You're missing, don't you.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: He's wonderful and yes, but I didn't call to talk
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: about baby. Bernard. Well, that's all we're talking about, is
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: this baby, Because you know you asked for baby videos,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: That's what I said. But baby, the other videos that
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you said, why would you send me? The trash is

- 1:10:12Speaker 1: it's graduation season and we want to say congratulations. Congratulations
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: to the class of twenty twenty one. Congratulations guys, yeah,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: g yeah, Christina, what did you say? My grandaughter graduated
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: college and I'm proud of you. Oh wow, awesome. Yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Mike from a trade school, granddaddy. That's good. My cousin
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: graduated from Loyola degree in biology bas a degree in
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: biology on Friday. Yeah, to graduate now through COVID because
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: they kept on. Yeah, that's that's that's being determined that
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I misunderstood. I said, Sherley, why are you calling it that?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I see what you said. You said she got to
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: be asked degree in biologist. Yes, I'm misunderstood. I thought, yeah, listen, damn,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: degree in biology you might work out for all. I
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: don't know what cutting up frog gonna do for you
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: in life. But all right now, hey man, let me
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: tell you something. I was from the country, right, so
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: in biology in high school, the only thing I was
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: good at was dissecting the frog because we should go
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: frog gigging. When I was a little boy, we should
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: kill frogs and we had to cut him and clean
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: them for our grandma. So I knew how to gut
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: a frog and cut him and clean them. I wasn't man,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: my frog would look delicious for what Yeah, yeah, for
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: frog legs. You can go frog gigging. You had to
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: go at night to catch and kill bull frogs, and
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: I would dissect them, cut them open, clean them from
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: my grandmother. So when we took biology, my frog was perfect,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: like dog. My frog was laid out like on ice.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: You ain't need no help, dog. My teacher was going, Wow,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you're amazing at this. Yeah, I hate the yawn to
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: put all this all this liquid on here trying to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: preserve it. I don't have missed it up. We can't Friday,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: and you're gonna be sick. You cooked this oka what
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: frog taste legs? Come on now, they say it tastes
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: like chicken. But the dog it's got a little different
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: thing to it. I don't know how you make it.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Some people salted and garlic and stuff deep fried. Best way, man,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: dog you get the bullfrog lands look like your whole
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: thumb the bottom of them, and it looked like that
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: whole look like a damn goose ile and shrimp off
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: in Chicago started goose Hole. Every time I got off
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: the plane in chicag the stake the goose hour dog dog.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: They got pictures of me up in goose Hode. We
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: went one time it was snowing so heavily. We all
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: went to Chicago. Steve had to get out in the snow.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: We was like, dude, like we're stopping goose I fried shrimp,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: fried frog legs. They got some other items, but that
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: ain't what I went there for. Shrimp came in a bag. Ja,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: That's what was so cool. Got a bag of shrimps
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: all over. I love back in the day though. Harold's Chicken, Yeah,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: that was the best. I don't wake up out of
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: my sleep for some Harrold's chicken. Chicken was unbelievable to anyone.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: That's true. How about to be one of the three
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: shy so yes, so, But back to the frog, like Steve, Okay,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: we were talking about graduates. How do we have graduates?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: It was a degree in biology from my cousin, Christina
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Jackson Pincham. Yes, that's my little cousin. Well, any advice,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Steve quickly you have for any of our college graduates listening? Well,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: it's like this, you know, high school. I'll give it
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: to you afterwards. Okay, all right, we'll have more of
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: today's trending stories on the Steve Every morning show a
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: twenty minutes after right after this you're listening show. All right,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: remember that tiger that was on the loose in Houston
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Line last week? Remember that, y, Well, the tiger has
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: been found, thank you lord. Yeah. His name was India. Yeah,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: his name was India. He was a nine month old
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy five pound Bengal tiger. And it's small.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Oh well here's a baby, I mean just nine maybe
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: nine hundred pounds. Loody. A woman named Gia found uh
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: India who just happens to be the wife of the
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: tiger's owner, Victor Quervos u Gia, led Houston police to
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: a tennis club where the tiger was being kept India.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: The tiger again is only nine months old and he's
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: being bottle fed. But authorities say, don't be fooled. This
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: tiger will weigh up to six hundred nine hundred pounds,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: even Steve says, when fully grown. Yeah, I can't. And
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: that's all muscle, right, yeah, no fat muscle and attitude, Okay,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: because that's what the Houston police said that the tiger
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: had an attitude. India likes a lot of attention. Okay,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: don't get always something wrong with a tiger. I'd have
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: met a friendly one, not even tig. And I didn't
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: like that name anyway. Ticket All right, more of the
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up with thirty three minutes after.

- 1:18:16Speaker 1: give a damn, you know, not even be over my
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: food now. With the potential of COVID just floating down
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: into my glass of water. Well, what you have? Because
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I love Marjorie and Marjorie orders, She's created a menu.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: She's created a menu at this place called Marcel's or
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: myr Souls or something like that. So her and Lorie
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: created a dish that they make just for them when
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: they come in there. And we had that. I can't
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: tell you what it is because people go down there
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: copy yeah, and then you know, we don't even do
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: all that. We just want to keep it. You know,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: you don't want Yeah, but I had no surf and
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: turf going on. You don't have me a mint surf
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: and turf going on. But I should have got that
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: damn Tomahawks steak because it's got fat on it. And

- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the main day. Okay, So Monday, Yeah, I feel good.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: You know. I want to say something in closing to
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the graduates. First of all, congratulations to all the high
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: school graduates out there. And this message is for all graduates,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: especially as a graduated with college degrees, always take my
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: hat off to people who who excel in education. Is
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: such an accomplishment to endure and and deal with all
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: the requirements to get a degree in whatever it is,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: any major degree, two year, four year. The act of
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: completing the task is absolutely it's daunting at times, and
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: the majority of people who start out on the task
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: to get degrees never finish. The majority, so when you
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: do it, it's a major accomplishment and you should be
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: proud and take some time out to enjoy it. You know,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: have yourself for celebration, but don't let the celebration extend
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: into a year, year and into six months. You know,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: if you want to take a month off to enjoy
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: yourself and give yourself a breather, I guess I could
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: understand that, But let me explain something to you. You've
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: had this major accomplishment, but your life is about to
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: change drastically. For those people who have gone to college,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: I think that any one of them will tell you that,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: looking back on it, those were some of the best
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: care free days of their life. Even though it was
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: hard to get that degree, of which I never could accomplish.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: But for those who did it was a daunting cast.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what what happens after you get
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: the degree. This thing called real life kicks in. There's
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: no more just going to class, working a part time
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: job to supplement your income. Some people put themselves through college.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: As difficult as that was, it was to prepare you
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: for what is to come. So degree or no degree,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: once you into the work world, life as you knew
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: it will never ever be the same. The candy portion
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: of life is over and real life begins. What happens
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: to that degree after you get it and you hang
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: it on your wall. It's a sign that you have
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: the ability to complete a task which is daunting. And
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I congratulate you all again. But now you got to
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: prepare yourself to put in the real work because now
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: real life is coming. And as I always try to
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: teach my sons, I said, manhood is coming, and it
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: ready or not, is coming. Now it'll knock and you
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: have to answer the door. If you do not answer
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: the door, manhood kicks the door in. I would imagine
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: it's the same way for a woman, but I can't
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: speak for women, but I would imagine it's the same
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: thing for women, womanhood. That little girl thing is over,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: that young lady thing is over. It's womanhood now. And
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: everything you do from this point on comes with greater
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: reward or greater consequences every decision you make from now on.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: It can't be okay, well, we'll give you a makeup test. Okay,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: we'll talk to your professor and see if you can
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: complete the task later on. Those days are done. If
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you miss work, you miss the day's pay. If you
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: miss the day's pay, your check short. If your check short,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: it affects a lot of things, and one thing affects
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: the other. What I'm saying to you is get ready
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: to have to get ready every day. Do you understand
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Get ready to have to get ready
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: every day. Because as daunting as this challenge was, it
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: was to prepare you for what's to come. And life
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: becomes more and more daunting and more and more challenging.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: And what you do is you get better and better
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: at handling it. It is never going to be as
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: easy as it was. Don't expect it. Oh, I got
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: this degree, My life going to get smooth. No, it's not. No,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: it's not your life is going to start getting real.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: And I'm not here trying to reign on your parade,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Uncle Steve, trying to get you ready for what's to come.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: You're gonna ask your mom and your daddy and they'll
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: tell you. They'll tell you it's been to get hard
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: out here, because now you got the bad out because
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: everything you do counts. See remember in the ninth grade
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: when you started getting credits and everything was credited towards
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: your graduation, and you thought messing around in the ninth
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: grade wasn't gonna hurt you, and you find out you
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: don't have enough credits. Well, guess what in life now
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: it's even more requirements. You have to mature. You have
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: to learn how to balance check books. You have to
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: learn how to manage your life, manage your accounts, pay bills,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: show up. Discipline. You're gonna have to learn discipline. Do
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: a discipline is doing what you have to do even
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: when you don't want to. And you got to practice
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: because they no makeup tests. You can't call the professor
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: and you can't call your boss and do a makeup
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: This is life. Get ready, y'all talk to God because
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: you're gonna need him because it's about to get strong
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: and for real out here. Enjoy your celebration, make it
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: a period of time, and after that, get ready to
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: get busy because this is life now, and life is
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: not easy. It is difficult. You just get better at
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: handling the difficulties. For all Steve Every contests, no purchase necessary,
