- 0:24Speaker 1: together for STU. Please don't join. You gotta turn you,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn out, turn got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water to the water. Got me
- 1:55Speaker 1: come come on your baby now. Uh huh, I show
- 2:03Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got this radio show. Man, Hi got here. I really
- 2:17Speaker 1: can't explain it. Only by the grace of God, that's
- 2:20Speaker 1: all I can really tell you. I was talking with
- 2:25Speaker 1: a buddy the other day and he was telling me.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He said, Man, he had an interesting philosophy about it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: He said. You know, you can have dreams and visions,
- 2:34Speaker 1: he say, but God, God will never show you what
- 2:40Speaker 1: all he has for you. He won't show you all
- 2:44Speaker 1: of it because he knows you will mess it up.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And you know what, man, I thought about that, And
- 2:52Speaker 1: how true is that? Okay? I know that I got
- 2:57Speaker 1: a radio show. I didn't see it. It's just become
- 3:01Speaker 1: this major blessing for me. I didn't see it. But
- 3:05Speaker 1: if I would have seen it and known when he
- 3:09Speaker 1: had planned on giving it to me, I would have
- 3:12Speaker 1: messed it up because Number one, my first question would
- 3:15Speaker 1: have been to him, why I got to wait so long?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Why don't I go down hill and start on the
- 3:22Speaker 1: radio now? And then I be in radio and then
- 3:27Speaker 1: tidy see that God? But see the thing about God
- 3:31Speaker 1: is God don't need your help a matter of fact,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that he don't really want it. All he want is
- 3:37Speaker 1: you to love him and obey him. If you can
- 3:40Speaker 1: do them two things I think. I think I could
- 3:42Speaker 1: be wrong. I think he'd be really cool with us.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So had I known about these blessings that he had
- 3:51Speaker 1: for me, I would have messed him up because I
- 3:53Speaker 1: would have put my thinking in the figuring process, and
- 3:56Speaker 1: that would have jacked it all up. That's the first
- 3:59Speaker 1: thing I asked him, why I got to wait so long?
- 4:02Speaker 1: And then if he has shown me what I was
- 4:04Speaker 1: gonna have to do to get it, I would have
- 4:07Speaker 1: showed messed that up. Man, I ain't gonna do that.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I ain't even to do all of that. Wait a minute,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I got to go through all of these mishaps in
- 4:15Speaker 1: my life. So when I get the radio show, I
- 4:18Speaker 1: have something to share. Man, why don't I just read
- 4:22Speaker 1: a couple of books and share that experience with them? Now, See,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I want you to know what you're talking about. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: want you to be transparent. I want people to be
- 4:33Speaker 1: able to identify with your struggle and apply they struggle
- 4:37Speaker 1: to it and see that they can get over. See.
- 4:40Speaker 1: God never shows you all of it because he know
- 4:43Speaker 1: will mess it up. I wouldn't have any books. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: certainly please know, I would not be the host of
- 4:50Speaker 1: Family Field. Can't tell you that. It is amazing man,
- 4:55Speaker 1: how God works. And my invitation to everybody today is
- 5:00Speaker 1: allow God to work. You know, you can ask him
- 5:04Speaker 1: why all you want to. And from time to time
- 5:06Speaker 1: I still do no good for me, But that old
- 5:09Speaker 1: why me, old woe is me? Lord? Thing that don't
- 5:11Speaker 1: really get it for me, because when I start asking
- 5:15Speaker 1: him why, I'm asking somebody who has a thought process
- 5:18Speaker 1: so high above mine that there's no way if he
- 5:21Speaker 1: told it to me, I wouldn't even get it. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: wouldn't need I don't how bright you think you are, man,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you just ain't gonna get how and why he does
- 5:28Speaker 1: it his way. You're not going to understand it. But
- 5:32Speaker 1: he has a plan for each and every one of us.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And if we adhere to the plan, if we submit
- 5:38Speaker 1: ourselves to his will and just say, Okay, God, what
- 5:40Speaker 1: you want me to do? I am telling you it
- 5:42Speaker 1: is the best way to live. Now. You can also
- 5:47Speaker 1: do it the way I did it early on. You
- 5:49Speaker 1: can just do what you want to do and see
- 5:52Speaker 1: how I go from now. And I will tell you
- 5:55Speaker 1: from personal experience, it's not going to go good. My
- 6:00Speaker 1: wife and I were talking the other day and she
- 6:03Speaker 1: said something women. I had to write it down. She says, Steve,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you know the funny thing about sin? She says, sin
- 6:10Speaker 1: casts you more than you want to pay and causes
- 6:13Speaker 1: you to stay longer than you want to stay. I
- 6:19Speaker 1: ask my word where she got it from. She says,
- 6:21Speaker 1: some old person told it to it. She says, sin
- 6:24Speaker 1: casts you more than you want to pay and causes
- 6:27Speaker 1: you to stay longer than you want to stay. That's
- 6:30Speaker 1: the problem, man, about doing what you want to do.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Because we are all sinners. Man, all of us, all
- 6:36Speaker 1: of us, every last one of us are sinners. You
- 6:38Speaker 1: will be a sinner until you die. Now, you could
- 6:41Speaker 1: be saved by grace. But you're going to be a
- 6:44Speaker 1: sinner man. You are going to make mistakes. You are
- 6:48Speaker 1: going to in your life knowingly do wrong. I bet
- 6:53Speaker 1: you will. I don't know who you think you are.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I don't know who you've been listening to. But get this,
- 6:58Speaker 1: we are sinners. We were born into a world that
- 7:03Speaker 1: is sinful. Now it's okay, it's okay, it's our world.
- 7:08Speaker 1: But we can make the best of it because we
- 7:10Speaker 1: can form a relationship with God and we can go
- 7:13Speaker 1: to war with this thing, you know, and we can win.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You can actually get over. Being born into this world
- 7:20Speaker 1: is not an end all. That doesn't mean you're doomed,
- 7:24Speaker 1: nah man, because God is available to give you life,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and not only give you life, but give it to
- 7:29Speaker 1: you more abundantly. I have more of an abundant life
- 7:34Speaker 1: than I've ever had. If you took away the finances,
- 7:38Speaker 1: trust and believe, I have so many things I could
- 7:41Speaker 1: tell you that I'm grateful for. For my wife, for
- 7:45Speaker 1: my children, man, for my family, for the few friends
- 7:50Speaker 1: that I have, for the work that I do, man
- 7:55Speaker 1: for the respect that some people that I feel around
- 7:58Speaker 1: some people from the repute Haitian I've earned. Now I
- 8:01Speaker 1: ain't cool with everybody. I got that. I'm cool. I
- 8:04Speaker 1: ain't cool with everybody. Everybody ain't cool with me. Everybody
- 8:08Speaker 1: don't like me. Man, get past that right there. I
- 8:11Speaker 1: don't care what you do. Everybody ain't gonna like you.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Some people didn't like Jesus. What did he do? What
- 8:18Speaker 1: did he do wrong to anybody? Show it to me
- 8:23Speaker 1: where he was just out there, just messing over folks,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and you could justify all that happened to him. Just
- 8:30Speaker 1: show it to me. But he knew everybody ain't gonna
- 8:33Speaker 1: like me. I just come to save y'all. You understand,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I got you. Ain't feeling me. You're gonna spit on me.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You're gonna hang me up there, You're gonna pierce my side.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You're gonna do all that to me. When you get through,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I still love you. That's a powerful statement. Man, God
- 8:49Speaker 1: will take care of you if you form this relationship
- 8:53Speaker 1: with him. He has something for you. He has a
- 8:57Speaker 1: plan for you that is beyond your imagine. He will
- 9:01Speaker 1: give you the desires of your heart. But he also
- 9:04Speaker 1: has some stuff in store for you that you're not
- 9:06Speaker 1: even asking for. That he is willing to ship to
- 9:10Speaker 1: an address that belongs to you as long as you
- 9:15Speaker 1: stay on the right path and are trying your best,
- 9:19Speaker 1: God to ship you to blessing anywhere. Because please know
- 9:21Speaker 1: He's done it to me. I'm a living witness to
- 9:24Speaker 1: this that God will ship you blessings. And you ain't
- 9:26Speaker 1: gonna be perfect. But if he know your heart, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: if he know you trying to do better, if he
- 9:31Speaker 1: see you trying to change, if he see you trying
- 9:34Speaker 1: to get it right, he understands that you're gonna stumble
- 9:38Speaker 1: all the way through this thing. But if he know
- 9:41Speaker 1: your heart and he know you trying to get it right,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and you're doing the best you can, boy, here ships
- 9:47Speaker 1: some stuff your way. Man, you really be tripping, man,
- 9:50Speaker 1: You would really be tripping. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man.

- 14:26Speaker 1: my husband and I are newly weds and we bought
- 14:28Speaker 1: our first home and in back in March, and so
- 14:33Speaker 1: our homeowners Association president lives across the street from us,
- 14:37Speaker 1: and she is a seventy nine year old busy body.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Last week, my husband worked over eighty hours, so he
- 14:44Speaker 1: didn't cut our grass. Saturday morning, we woke up at
- 14:49Speaker 1: six am to the sounds of a lawn more in
- 14:52Speaker 1: our front yard. The HA president was standing there while
- 14:57Speaker 1: a man cut our yard. She take her husband that
- 15:00Speaker 1: we will be fined for not cutting our yard and
- 15:03Speaker 1: we have to pay that guy that came to do
- 15:06Speaker 1: it for us. I want to report this old you
- 15:10Speaker 1: know what to the city, but my husband won't let me.
- 15:13Speaker 1: How should we handle her? That's like that laid in
- 15:17Speaker 1: the commercial. Yes, the guy called Cynthia. Yeah, um m hmmm,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I would invite a hold for childlings set childlings. Yes
- 15:34Speaker 1: she can if she ain't never had. No, that's one
- 15:37Speaker 1: way to shut up. Get over there. They sit it
- 15:41Speaker 1: out and feed her ass some soul for this is
- 15:45Speaker 1: how we do it. This is how we do it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And just do it like that and have her come
- 15:51Speaker 1: over and feed her and give us something. I don't know.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I don't you know. Don't look, man, look just hanging there.
- 15:57Speaker 1: She's seventy nine, meaning really ride, ride it out. Ride,
- 16:07Speaker 1: Just just ride this out. It can't watch you. You
- 16:14Speaker 1: don't know how long it's gonna last. Looking at you
- 16:18Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Just go ahead and take it.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Pay the man for cutting the grass. I promise you
- 16:24Speaker 1: this ain't gonna keep going on. Just ride it out.
- 16:29Speaker 1: You ain't gonna need you going down there reporting this
- 16:32Speaker 1: city and spending your money and stuff. Just just to
- 16:36Speaker 1: watch how this work. Just watch how this work. It
- 16:39Speaker 1: Just always say what I used to say, what any
- 16:44Speaker 1: day now that guard moving your face. Yeah, just date now,
- 16:49Speaker 1: Just let God do what he gonna Never Nona all
- 16:55Speaker 1: the time. But he's worming back, yes he yes, he is.
- 17:01Speaker 1: He's just gonna work it up all right. This one
- 17:06Speaker 1: is from Tony in Columbia, South Carolina. My wife and
- 17:09Speaker 1: I have been married for ten years and we have
- 17:11Speaker 1: a seven year old son. I am trying to raise
- 17:15Speaker 1: a decent young man, but my wife has been getting
- 17:18Speaker 1: in the way ever since all of the Black Lives
- 17:21Speaker 1: Matter movements started going strong. My wife doats on my
- 17:25Speaker 1: son and he's always right up under her, watching TV
- 17:29Speaker 1: and helping her cook. If I ask my son to
- 17:32Speaker 1: do something, it starts an argument and she says I'm
- 17:35Speaker 1: being mean to him for no reason. How can I
- 17:38Speaker 1: get her to stop spoiling my son and let me
- 17:41Speaker 1: raise him too? Two things, First of all, it's his son. Yeah, Okay,
- 17:50Speaker 1: who do you think sister knows more about getting him
- 17:53Speaker 1: through boyhood and manhood? You are or him? Now you
- 17:57Speaker 1: have a role to playton You can't replace what a
- 18:00Speaker 1: mother does. Just do what a mother does. But let
- 18:03Speaker 1: allow him and the way you got to sit down
- 18:07Speaker 1: and go listen to me. It's some things that he
- 18:09Speaker 1: needs to understand in terms of responsibility. I got he seven,
- 18:13Speaker 1: but it starts early. It's called responsibility and it's called discipline.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And we need to get both of them started at
- 18:21Speaker 1: seven stead of him tucked up under you, because when
- 18:25Speaker 1: you go outside, he can't be tucked up under you.
- 18:27Speaker 1: He don't need to know something. Now, let me turn
- 18:30Speaker 1: this boy into a boy. And if we ever have
- 18:34Speaker 1: a daughter, you could, that'sh your job. But let me
- 18:37Speaker 1: do the things that I know particular to being a boy.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And not to say the single mothers don't know. They don't.
- 18:43Speaker 1: They know a lot about raising wonderful children. But you can't.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You're not gonna turn him into him? Man, right, But
- 18:49Speaker 1: they're not single. She's not single. You're married. I don't
- 18:53Speaker 1: understother him. Yeah, man, stop, I'm stop. Stop demasculated. What's
- 19:00Speaker 1: the wordsculating? Man? Yeah? Stop that. You know. Let's just dude,
- 19:04Speaker 1: be a father, Let him be a man. What you're
- 19:07Speaker 1: stripping him of? That for what you're married for. If
- 19:10Speaker 1: you didn't want a man to be a father, a
- 19:13Speaker 1: good man, then what you married a man? Fault. They've
- 19:16Speaker 1: been married for ten years and they have a seven
- 19:18Speaker 1: year old son. Man let me. Yeah, but now hear
- 19:23Speaker 1: what you could do, dude when mom made around, snatch
- 19:26Speaker 1: his ass up, Tony. Pull him off to the side
- 19:29Speaker 1: in that room. Get all the fabric up under his chin,
- 19:32Speaker 1: Get all his shirt fabric, put it up on this chin. Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Put him me in real close where he can feel
- 19:39Speaker 1: your breath on his face. Yea that do something else.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I tell your punk ass not to see what happened.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Remember the first time you actually got snatched, when you
- 19:49Speaker 1: first got snatched by your dad, I mean just snatched something.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I literally know exactly what the her snatch her nodding
- 20:02Speaker 1: your ass me. That's why I know it. My father
- 20:05Speaker 1: snatched me, and I swear to god, I tangle up. Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 1: he damnedly had to unwrap me when he sent me
- 20:14Speaker 1: that snatch my ass so hard I tangle up. I couldn't.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I was just a ball. What did you do? See?
- 20:21Speaker 1: Do you remember what you did? You know my father
- 20:24Speaker 1: called me and now he heard me go, oh that's
- 20:29Speaker 1: all it take back then? Back then, that's all it too.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Are you did you huf hungry like I'm gonna win
- 20:36Speaker 1: in your joels? You ain't got no win in your job.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Watch how you huff Now he snatched me. He gotta
- 20:46Speaker 1: get us. Watch how you right after you're listening show everybody.
- 20:58Speaker 1: We're back coming up at the time about I will
- 21:00Speaker 1: miss Anne the way back. That's the news update that
- 21:06Speaker 1: we send him. Prayer and heating to Ricky smiling and
- 21:09Speaker 1: his family for his daughter Aaron. We'll talk about it
- 21:12Speaker 1: at the time for an hour. Yeah. I just texted
- 21:14Speaker 1: him last night and um, I told rick I said,
- 21:18Speaker 1: I just heard, man, I'm sorry, what you need blah
- 21:21Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah. He said, I appreciate you. Man.
- 21:25Speaker 1: She has surgery today. She's fine, but I'm sitting outside
- 21:28Speaker 1: waiting to see her. They have to transfer her. So
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'm waiting outside. I'm in Houston. Yeah, yeah, I'm praying
- 21:35Speaker 1: for so we're praying for yes. Yeah. Man. You know
- 21:40Speaker 1: how man, that's gotta be. You get a phone call
- 21:44Speaker 1: that your child is shot. See one of my great friends,
- 21:47Speaker 1: y'all know JT. Yeah. Right, we were in the studio
- 21:50Speaker 1: in Atlanta, and I remember who his wife called and
- 21:54Speaker 1: said their son had been murdered. I remember that. Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 1: And man, what what do you say? It's empty. The

- 29:17Speaker 1: We're back in time for national news, entertainment news calling.
- 29:19Speaker 1: What you got? Well? First of all, you know we
- 29:21Speaker 1: talked about this earlier. We are sending our prayers of healing,
- 29:26Speaker 1: UH to your friend Steve, our friend Ricky Smiley and
- 29:29Speaker 1: his family. Uh. Ricky's daughter. If you guys have not heard,
- 29:34Speaker 1: Ricky's daughter Aaron was shot three times while in a
- 29:38Speaker 1: car in Houston. She was going to get something to eat.
- 29:41Speaker 1: This this is early reports. According to ABC thirteen News
- 29:45Speaker 1: in Houston. Uh there is a restaurant in Houston called
- 29:49Speaker 1: water Burger. It's a Hamburger fast food chain. And she
- 29:53Speaker 1: she was with some friends I assume in the car,
- 29:56Speaker 1: and the police believe that this incident has to do
- 30:00Speaker 1: with road rage and road rage. Tommy is from Houston.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Junior is from Houston. It is a problem in Houston.
- 30:08Speaker 1: It is a big problem in Houston. And the suspect
- 30:12Speaker 1: pulled up to the car and opened fired, and three people,
- 30:16Speaker 1: including Ricky Smiley's daughter Erin, were in the car, but
- 30:21Speaker 1: managed to drive to the hospital. As you know, our
- 30:26Speaker 1: hearts were broken. We've devastated when we all heard the news. Steve,
- 30:29Speaker 1: you just said that you text Ricky and you talked
- 30:33Speaker 1: to him last night. Yeah, I'm just texting. We didn't talk,
- 30:36Speaker 1: you know, I don't Yeah, you know, I try not
- 30:39Speaker 1: to get in a person's space times like this because
- 30:42Speaker 1: you don't know what at But I did text him.
- 30:44Speaker 1: He text me right back. He told me he was good.
- 30:46Speaker 1: He said his daughter's fine. He said he was waiting
- 30:48Speaker 1: to see it. They won't let him in because you know,
- 30:50Speaker 1: it's a hospital, it's COVID thing, it's code. This is crazy, man.
- 30:55Speaker 1: You can't see a loved one, a person that's dying
- 30:58Speaker 1: from COVID can't get a visit there, you know what
- 31:00Speaker 1: I mean. And so you got your other relatives in
- 31:03Speaker 1: there for us something else, and you still can't get visited.
- 31:06Speaker 1: So he's waiting, hoping to see his little girl and
- 31:08Speaker 1: then um, you know, she's got to get transferred somewhere.
- 31:11Speaker 1: So he's hoping right in there that he'll get to
- 31:14Speaker 1: see us somewhere. So he said everything was fine. She
- 31:17Speaker 1: had surgery. It was a success and good, thank god.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I hope, I just hope she. I hope she has
- 31:22Speaker 1: no complications after that. You know, even if you get
- 31:25Speaker 1: through it, just nothing that you just got to carry
- 31:28Speaker 1: for the rest of your life. Yeah, I mean, you know,
- 31:29Speaker 1: but there is a mental thing that comes with being shot.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, missus trauma. It's post traumatic. I don't want
- 31:37Speaker 1: to get into my total pass but there's some stuff
- 31:40Speaker 1: that go with that. Yeah, you know, you kind of
- 31:45Speaker 1: don't you're not going to talk about that though, you're nothing.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna let that go. Well, we're praying for Aaron
- 31:52Speaker 1: and Ricky and prayers. Does anybody has anybody been arrested
- 31:57Speaker 1: or anybody knows they have not? They no, that not
- 32:01Speaker 1: as of now. Well, well that's what I'm saying. Maybe
- 32:05Speaker 1: I just didn't want to get too deep into the case, y'all.
- 32:08Speaker 1: They may have somebody so or Ricky may say something
- 32:12Speaker 1: more advanced than what we're saying. So um, so, you know, recovery.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Aaron is recovering from surgery and we just have to
- 32:24Speaker 1: keep praying, lifting her up in prayer, and lifting Ricky
- 32:26Speaker 1: up and prayering. You know. You know what bothers me
- 32:28Speaker 1: more than anything. We are so and I'm with this
- 32:31Speaker 1: movement that's happening right now. Black lives matter. I just
- 32:35Speaker 1: I can't wait for black lives to matter to each other.
- 32:40Speaker 1: But we're not killing each other. I can't wait for that, man,
- 32:45Speaker 1: for everybody, it's for us too as a piece. Then
- 32:48Speaker 1: let's all get on this then, yeah, and quick killing
- 32:51Speaker 1: each other because we're doing that at an alarming rate. Man. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you know, there's there's some things we have to do.
- 33:05Speaker 1: But it's going to take a concerted concert, concerted effort
- 33:09Speaker 1: on black men's part. It's going to take up a
- 33:13Speaker 1: lot of black men to come together to reel in
- 33:18Speaker 1: these younger black men. And that's all it is to it,
- 33:23Speaker 1: simple as that. Yeah, yeah, all right, uncle, Well it's
- 33:28Speaker 1: time to get caught up on today's headlines on ladies
- 33:30Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, thank you, thank you everybody.
- 33:33Speaker 1: And here's this Anne Trip with the news. And let
- 33:35Speaker 1: me talk about a little bit about Ricky Smiley. You
- 33:37Speaker 1: guys just did what I just want to reiterate certain things. Yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 1: he says, his daughter Aaron, underwent surgery reportedly successfully and
- 33:44Speaker 1: that's good. We prayed after she ended up as an
- 33:47Speaker 1: innocent bystanders. She was shot three times by a road
- 33:51Speaker 1: rage government apparently. Smiley says his daughter was on her
- 33:53Speaker 1: way to a water burger Sunday night just to get
- 33:55Speaker 1: a little something to eat. It's near Holcombe and at
- 33:59Speaker 1: last word, Rickie Smiley's daughter was expected to survive. As
- 34:02Speaker 1: we said, they said, Ricky did text to Steve and
- 34:05Speaker 1: say that things are successful. Police say three other victims
- 34:08Speaker 1: in another car were shot, but they're expected to survive
- 34:10Speaker 1: as well. Authorities still looking for that shooter. Atlanta mayor
- 34:14Speaker 1: Kesha lance Bottom says she's tested positive for the coronavirus.
- 34:18Speaker 1: She has no symptoms, but she got tested because she
- 34:20Speaker 1: noticed her husband's sleeping a lot. They both have it.

- 34:54Speaker 1: hundreds of healthcare workers have signed a letter asking the
- 34:57Speaker 1: governor to shut down bars and nightclubs. President Trump focused
- 35:01Speaker 1: on the fall not just the election day, but also
- 35:03Speaker 1: on the schools. Trump says the nations schools must reopen
- 35:06Speaker 1: in September coronavirus or not. In fact, White House Chief
- 35:09Speaker 1: of Staff Mark Meadows tells Fox News he's on it.
- 35:12Speaker 1: He's willing to invest to make sure that whatever adjustment
- 35:16Speaker 1: we have to make in our lifestyle is temporary, and
- 35:18Speaker 1: we got to get the schools open this fall. We're
- 35:21Speaker 1: coming up with plans to do just that. Generally stayed
- 35:24Speaker 1: and local leaders have the jurisdiction over the schools. But
- 35:27Speaker 1: Trump is to join a strategy meeting later on today
- 35:29Speaker 1: on where and when and how to open the nations
- 35:33Speaker 1: learning institutions. Now, police brutality protests and Phoenix where police

- 38:03Speaker 1: You know, man, a lot of people be tripping, but
- 38:05Speaker 1: a lot of that stuff be flyto dog. When he

- 38:14Speaker 1: to read the Haywood little that was at far. Yeah,

- 39:04Speaker 1: stand on. Marba Wallace had nothing to apologize for. Lindsey Graham.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Just just let me get my name right. I'm Lindsay Graham.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Mamma Wallace has absolutely nothing to apologish. Hold up at
- 39:24Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, more to Barns Show.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show, all right, everybody, Um, Carla,
- 39:34Speaker 1: we we are. We had a lot of violence over
- 39:37Speaker 1: the weekend. It was a very violent weekend. Yeah, it's
- 39:42Speaker 1: just I'm so sick of this shootings across America. This
- 39:46Speaker 1: is unbelievable. Eighty seven people shot in Chicago, sixty three
- 39:51Speaker 1: people shot in New York, the governor of Georgia, Brian
- 39:54Speaker 1: camp I've heard that he is thinking or has deployed
- 39:57Speaker 1: the National Guard troops after a violent week in Atlanta. Now,
- 40:02Speaker 1: according to CNN, you guys at least six children ranging
- 40:07Speaker 1: in ages of six to fourteen, while all shot doing
- 40:11Speaker 1: everyday things like riding in the car, walking in the mall.
- 40:16Speaker 1: That's right, Tommy, playing in the yard, just doing it
- 40:20Speaker 1: with their cousins. In Atlanta. We talked about eight year
- 40:23Speaker 1: old so Corria Turner. She was killed in Birmingham in
- 40:27Speaker 1: the mall. And we've been to this mall, the Galleria
- 40:30Speaker 1: Mall and Hoover, Alabama. An eight year old boy, his
- 40:34Speaker 1: name is Rota DeMarco Giles. He was killed in Washington, DC.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Eleven year old Devon mcneild was shot and killed while
- 40:45Speaker 1: visiting his family in Washington, d C. They say it
- 40:49Speaker 1: was a group of men outside in the area shooting
- 40:52Speaker 1: in the area. Devon's grandfather was a guardian angel. His
- 40:56Speaker 1: family they are just heartbroken and devastated. In Chicago, Natalia Wallace,
- 41:02Speaker 1: seven years old, was playing in the yard and three
- 41:06Speaker 1: guys just started shooting in front of the house in
- 41:11Speaker 1: that area. This is it has to stop. We have
- 41:16Speaker 1: African American mayors that are pleading. Atlanta Mayor Kesha Lamp's Bottoms,
- 41:23Speaker 1: also Chicago's Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Washington, DC's Mayor Muriel Browser.
- 41:31Speaker 1: All are just fed up and we are just tired
- 41:35Speaker 1: of all of this violence. Steve, we're killing you. Well,
- 41:38Speaker 1: look until we as black men joined together our forces,
- 41:42Speaker 1: older black men, middle aged black men, young black men
- 41:47Speaker 1: of statue, young black men who are trying to say,
- 41:50Speaker 1: until we get together and get back and start dealing
- 41:53Speaker 1: with our youth the way we need to in terms
- 41:56Speaker 1: of mentoring, we can stop the complaining because and I
- 42:00Speaker 1: understand everybody's tired of it, but the only way we're
- 42:03Speaker 1: going to fix this problem is we've got to go
- 42:06Speaker 1: back and put our arms around these young men and mentor.
- 42:11Speaker 1: It's the only way. I don't have another answer for you.
- 42:14Speaker 1: The government ain't coming. The government is not coming because
- 42:17Speaker 1: they don't even know what to do. But see, the
- 42:20Speaker 1: only ones that know what to say is us who
- 42:22Speaker 1: are from these same conditions. Now, because you are in
- 42:26Speaker 1: poverty don't mean you have to go that route. And
- 42:30Speaker 1: so what we've got to do is those of us
- 42:32Speaker 1: who come from poverty have got to grab these young
- 42:35Speaker 1: men and show them alternative way. I don't have another answer.
- 42:40Speaker 1: If there's a better answer, I love to hear it.
- 42:42Speaker 1: But this is something we could all do now. Everybody
- 42:46Speaker 1: can mentor somebody. You got to grab these young men
- 42:49Speaker 1: and give them an alternate that. Everybody don't want to
- 42:51Speaker 1: be a gangster. That's a gangster. Some people get you
- 42:55Speaker 1: pulled into the life. Some people think there is no
- 42:58Speaker 1: other life. Everybody that's a gangster don't want to be
- 43:01Speaker 1: a gangster. Everybody don't want to play as a gangster.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Everybody don't want to make their bones. Everybody don't want
- 43:07Speaker 1: to go to jail to prove they down what they set.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Everybody don't want to gang bang. That's gangbanging. Man. When
- 43:13Speaker 1: I was in LA and I used to meet with
- 43:15Speaker 1: gangbangers and stuff like that. Every time I walk out,
- 43:19Speaker 1: it's hard. You can't talk to you. Yeah, man, you
- 43:22Speaker 1: got someone I could do anything. It's hard. I just
- 43:25Speaker 1: want a chance. Yeah, yeah, man, it's cast. Nobody want
- 43:31Speaker 1: to go to jail to prove to you'll set you down.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Then you get it in and find out that you'll
- 43:36Speaker 1: set ain't down with you or anybody helping your baby
- 43:39Speaker 1: get raised. Anybody's sitting your mama. No money. That ain't
- 43:42Speaker 1: how this work. Man. Gangbanging is most useless waste of
- 43:45Speaker 1: damn time and energy and talent that you'll ever see.
- 43:48Speaker 1: And if we don't get together as black men and
- 43:51Speaker 1: tell us to our young black men, we're failing. Yeah.
- 43:55Speaker 1: And I have a minutoring program that does that. But
- 43:58Speaker 1: it ain't enough. It's not enough. I'm not reaching enough.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I can't get to everybody, but all of us unified
- 44:06Speaker 1: can mentoring matters, mentoring changes lives. I got proof of it. Yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 1: thank you, Thank appreciate. Yeah, man, let's switch gears. Man,
- 44:18Speaker 1: come up next to prank phone call. You're listening show
- 44:24Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, about four
- 44:26Speaker 1: minutes after today's Strawberry letter, the subject I want my
- 44:30Speaker 1: man to spoil me. But right that, nephew, you hear
- 44:33Speaker 1: with the today's prank phone call. What you got, nephew?
- 44:35Speaker 1: My refrigerator? What about it? What about it? Yeah, that's
- 44:40Speaker 1: all you need to know. My refrigerator. Let's go, cat
- 44:45Speaker 1: dog my refrigerator. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach up mister. Please,
- 44:53Speaker 1: this is Jackson. I'm the driver, man, I'm actually the

- 44:58Speaker 1: what's going on? Okay, listen, I know we had a
- 45:00Speaker 1: window that was from eight to twelve. This morning, it's

- 45:41Speaker 1: we loaded up. You know, we just had some problems.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I think one of the fourth lifts went out, and
- 45:46Speaker 1: you know, it kind of pushed us back. So that
- 45:47Speaker 1: four hour wind that we had from eight to twelve,
- 45:49Speaker 1: man just got ruined. And now we're pushing things from
- 45:52Speaker 1: our twelve to four, So between twelve and four, man,

- 46:28Speaker 1: definitely gonna be getting into you as soon as I can, man, y'all.
- 46:30Speaker 1: So so man, y'all pushing it. I'm supposed to be
- 46:33Speaker 1: at work, And then I scheduled everything yes around this
- 46:36Speaker 1: because I'm supposed to. You know, I gotta have a
- 46:38Speaker 1: refrigerator to pound on my food and stuffing in the
- 46:40Speaker 1: kitchen and whatnot the refrigerator went out? Did it go?
- 46:45Speaker 1: Refrigerator went out? Is that what happened? Yeah, it's very
- 46:47Speaker 1: did I mean I hadn't had it for quite some times.
- 46:50Speaker 1: But you know, so it's just amount of time for

- 52:48Speaker 1: that's somebody didn't got mad at the winning. That's it.

- 54:19Speaker 1: Subject I want my man to spoil me. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I've been dating my boyfriend for two years, and it
- 54:30Speaker 1: was really good. For the first year. We spent a
- 54:32Speaker 1: lot of quality time together and got to know each
- 54:34Speaker 1: other about going on some great dates. Well, now that
- 54:38Speaker 1: we've been together for a while, and he started saying
- 54:40Speaker 1: that he loves me. He feels that's enough to make
- 54:45Speaker 1: me happy. He won't do the things he did in
- 54:48Speaker 1: the beginning. I don't get flowers any mold. He doesn't
- 54:53Speaker 1: take me to lunch like he used to. When we
- 54:55Speaker 1: go on dates. It is because I asked him or
- 54:57Speaker 1: make plans for us in advance. We've been talking about
- 55:01Speaker 1: marriage and looking at rings. He's loving and we have
- 55:06Speaker 1: an emotional connection, but I want to be spoiled and
- 55:10Speaker 1: he no longer does that. I've been married before, and
- 55:14Speaker 1: although my ex husband and I did not get along,
- 55:17Speaker 1: he didn't make a big deal out of my birthday,
- 55:20Speaker 1: holidays and special occasions to let me know that I
- 55:24Speaker 1: am loved and appreciate it. That's all I need my
- 55:27Speaker 1: boyfriend to do. And I try not to mention how
- 55:31Speaker 1: my ex husband did things, but I can't help but
- 55:34Speaker 1: drop hints here and there. I had a birthday recently
- 55:39Speaker 1: and we're limited on celebrating in public because of COVID nineteen,
- 55:44Speaker 1: so I figured he would do something special. He got
- 55:47Speaker 1: me flowers from the grocery store, and he picked up
- 55:49Speaker 1: olive garden for my birthday dinner. I didn't even get
- 55:53Speaker 1: a card. By the way, I've been withholding sex, just
- 55:58Speaker 1: like he's been withholding the sweet things he used to
- 56:01Speaker 1: do for me. I just make up excuses without telling
- 56:04Speaker 1: him why I don't want to have sexually. Am I
- 56:06Speaker 1: wrong for feeling this way? Is it okay to tell
- 56:10Speaker 1: him that I want to be spoiled without sounding like
- 56:13Speaker 1: a spoil brett? I don't you dam well? You know what,
- 56:20Speaker 1: You've been dating your boyfriend for two years. In the beginning,
- 56:23Speaker 1: you guys spent quality time together, you know, going on
- 56:28Speaker 1: great dates, and it's always good. You know, in the beginning.
- 56:32Speaker 1: It's always good in the beginning because you're getting to
- 56:34Speaker 1: know each other and it's and it's fun. But now
- 56:37Speaker 1: time has passed and you say your man isn't doing
- 56:40Speaker 1: the things he did in the beginning. You don't get
- 56:42Speaker 1: flowers anymore, no lunch dates or if you guys even
- 56:46Speaker 1: do anything. You planned it so for your birthday due
- 56:49Speaker 1: to COVID nineteen, your plans were limited. He picked up
- 56:52Speaker 1: takeout from Olive Garden and flowers from the grocery store.
- 56:56Speaker 1: And you've been withholding sex and making up excuses not
- 57:00Speaker 1: to be intimate with your man because deep down you're
- 57:04Speaker 1: really angry at your boyfriend because he is not spoiling you.
- 57:09Speaker 1: You all have been looking at rings, so obviously you
- 57:12Speaker 1: know you're ready for the next step. You guys have
- 57:14Speaker 1: been talking about marriage, but girl, listen to me. Communication
- 57:19Speaker 1: is the key. Tell him how you feel, Tell your
- 57:23Speaker 1: man how you feel. You mentioned your ex husband and
- 57:27Speaker 1: how he used to spoil you, but you guys didn't
- 57:29Speaker 1: get along, so that really doesn't matter because you guys
- 57:32Speaker 1: went your separate rays, you got a divorce, so who cares.
- 57:35Speaker 1: But now you want to drop hints to your boyfriend
- 57:39Speaker 1: and tell him how your ex husband used to spoil you.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Don't be petty. That's petty. Don't be petty, and don't
- 57:46Speaker 1: be vindictive. Just talk to your man. Tell your man
- 57:50Speaker 1: you love him for him, but you need to feel wanted.
- 57:53Speaker 1: You want to feel desired and spoiled and need and
- 57:57Speaker 1: just tell him all the things that you want. He
- 57:59Speaker 1: could oppromise, He can hear you out if he really
- 58:02Speaker 1: loves you, and there you are, You'll you'll get these things.
- 58:05Speaker 1: But I understand how you feel. I'm a woman. I
- 58:07Speaker 1: understand what you're saying. But bringing up your ex husband
- 58:10Speaker 1: and what he used to do that, that's that's out
- 58:13Speaker 1: of order. That's petty and vindictive. Stee, I agree, I
- 58:18Speaker 1: agree totally. I think she had a good response to
- 58:21Speaker 1: the letter. I can't find nothing wrong with that. So
- 58:23Speaker 1: let me just talk to you from a different perspective.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Here we go. Oh, you've been dating to Do for
- 58:29Speaker 1: two years, and it's good in the beginning, ain't it,
- 58:31Speaker 1: ain't they all? Yeah, ye, all of it's good in
- 58:35Speaker 1: the beginning. Yeah. Oh, if it ain't good in the beginning,
- 58:38Speaker 1: what is it? Oh? But every year or so then
- 58:43Speaker 1: it guest started changing a little bit. He stopped doing
- 58:47Speaker 1: the great things that he used to do. He tell
- 58:50Speaker 1: me loves me, and he feels that that ought to
- 58:51Speaker 1: be enough to make me happy. And he won't do
- 58:54Speaker 1: the things I did in the beginning. I don't get
- 58:57Speaker 1: flowers anymore. He don't take me to LUN's like he
- 59:00Speaker 1: used to when we go on dates. It is because
- 59:02Speaker 1: I asked him. We've been talking about marriaging, looking at rings.
- 59:06Speaker 1: He's loving and we have an emotional connection, but I
- 59:09Speaker 1: want to be spoiled and he no longer does that. Well,
- 59:12Speaker 1: let me stop right him a little bit later on. See,
- 59:16Speaker 1: you decided to tell me and call it what it
- 59:18Speaker 1: is that you've been doing. So what you've been doing
- 59:22Speaker 1: is you've been withholding sex because you want to be spoiled.
- 59:29Speaker 1: News flash coming from Uncle Steve. Men like to be
- 59:34Speaker 1: spalled too. Oh, news flash, men like to be spalled too.
- 59:43Speaker 1: So why are you withholding sex? Maybe that's why you
- 59:47Speaker 1: ain't got no damn flower. Maybe that's why he ain't
- 59:51Speaker 1: drug your ass? Nowhere to eat? About to give a
- 59:55Speaker 1: damn about no COVID? We ain't having sex up in him? Eat?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: What's in refrigerator. Men like to be spalls too. Now
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: we on to something. When I come back, I'm share
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: some real mess with y'all. Parts of coming up at
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour man like the beat
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: small tell yeah, two, you're listening, all right, let's go
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: ahead and get a part two of your answer. Man.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Let's recap this letter to day. Yeah, you know this
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: lady been dating this man two years. He used to
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: do all this stuff, great dates, talking, laughing, buying him stuff.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Now after two years, he didn't told her he loved her,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: and he don't do the things he did in the beginning.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: She don't get the flowers no more. He don't take
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: it at gonna lunch like he used to. You gotta
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: ask him do nothing. We've been talking about getting married
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: and he's loving y'all got emotional connection, but I want
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to be small spoiled and he no longer does that. Nah.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Then she didn't told us later on the letter, so
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: she didn't with hell sex? Okay, well here we go.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: So now we ain't having sex and you want some more?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: What flowers? Dinners? Romantic? Oh hope, let me ask something.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: We ain't having sex, though, but you want some mo
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: what Colin, She wants more flowers, romantic dinners, birthday celebration,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: lunch dates, dinner dates, all of that. Okay, Well, guess
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: what he wants. He wants some more damn sex. So
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: now now we had a stand problem. Na, I think
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: we have solved this letter and you weren't looking for this. Lady,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: ain't gonna beat the more damn flowers. And then after that,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: right there, she said, I've been married before, and although
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: my ex husband and I didn't get along, he made
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: a big deal out of your birthday, okay, holidays and
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: special occasions to let me know that I'm loved and
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: appreciate it. Okay, So what y'all get, divorce faults? All that? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: all that damn love it? It made you feel special
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and all this loving occasions and all let you know
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: you feel appreciated. What was the divorce fault? What loved
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: you and appreciated you? And he did things on your
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: special days, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and everything. But he decided
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: to do it for a couple other people too. It
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: was multiple people because he was really that loving and carried,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: she said in a letter they didn't get along Steve
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: they didn't get along. Why they didn't get along? She
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: didn't say, well, I didn't see it. But see, listen
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to me. If they didn't get along and he was
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: doing all this and he was loving, then it must
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: be her fault again. See here we go with her again.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: The common demand doma denominator so far, and these men's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: is you men's men's. That's all I need my boyfriend
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: to do is try not to and I try not
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to mention how my ex husband did things. But I
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: can't help. Okay. So now you bringing up your damn
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: ex husband to your boyfriend, I got news for you.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: That's another reason he to quit buying you stuff. Let
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: your damn ex buy If you're gonna keep telling me
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: about how your ex husband was, then you must want
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: your damn ex husband. We'll get his ass to buy
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: your flowers. Now. On your little birthday you had doing COVID,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: he stopped at olive garden, got your some olive garden,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: and went to the grocery store and got your ass
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: some flowers. You ain't appreciate that you wanted some mode. Well,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: what would your ex husband have done doing COVID? Because
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: nobody has ever had COVID before. This is the first
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: time everybody's had everybody's having a birthday doing COVID. This
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: the first time we've had it doing a pandemic. So now,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: what did your ex? Would you? What would your ex
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: have done during the damn pandemic? That would have been
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: way better than your boyfriend. See you strike me as
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a woman who wants everything laid at your feet and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: nine am, okay, you can want that. That's cool. Carlin
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: said it best. She a woman, she get it. Everybody
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: want to be spoiled. I'm in the spoiler woman business too.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: But now what you came to do with whole sex?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Now let me tell you what. Now, See, if you
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: wants to get all this spoilt, see me and like
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to be spoiled too, spail me. See, I ain't gonna
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: be buying all this here, letting you a shop all
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: this here. Ain't nothing happening for me. Yeah, you know
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: what you're saying. You're saying it's a two way street, Steve. Huh,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: who's what you're saying? Traffic go both ways? Yeah, there
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: ain't nothing one way. Sun go up, sun go down, Yeah,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: moon glow, moon, dog water, deep water, showering north south. Yeah,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you're gonna eat somebody to go west. It got to
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: go the other damn way. Hello, If you won't to
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: find yourself, look, then you gonna have to do some
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: loving your damn self. If you want to feel good, yeah,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: you're gonna have to make somebody else feel good to you.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Like blue? I like red, You like kool aid, I
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: like Scotch. I'm you like rain, I like snow. I

- 1:06:07Speaker 1: like dry lips. But let's put these lips together and
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: come on and do something now. Ye like to get
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: bit just a little bit? I like mouth fools. Sometimes
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: we got to meet in the middle. You want to
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: get it over here. I want to get it over there.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: We need to get together in the middle. Make it
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: everybody happen. Thank you, pass when I come back to

- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you the opposite and give you an example in love.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Let us begin right now, Deacon. Read satin satin. You
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: like satin. I like cotton called cotton gets picked, and
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I like it when I get picked. Read underwear underwear.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: You like underwear. I like drawl. I like drawn called
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the rhymes with rhyme withdraw. Read hair hair. I like hair.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Then I like now because now removes the hair smooth
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: like that. That's what I like. Read sunshades sunshade. You
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: call them sunshades. I call them blue blockers. I'm talking
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: about eye glasses for old people. I'm talking about the
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: big squass glasses. Look like something wrong with you when
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: you wam blue blockers sunblass. Read car. Car. You like
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: a car. I like a ride, Ride me, I ride you.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: We can ride each other, we can re eye together.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. A Read baby all our baby,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: all one of my favorites. Once you say baby all squirt, squirt, skeet, skeet,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: slipping slide. Baby all is the key to a happy man.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You get some baby all. You can get some baby
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: all on me. I'm getting baby all on you. You're
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: getting baby all in your hair. You can get you
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: get baby all on your finger and it don't matter.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: You can suck it all out. You get baby all
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: in your mouth. You can't even take baby all. This
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: damn near tasteless. It's the best thing in the work.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: They all make everything smell like a new bone baby.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: If you haven't truth just by all on this is
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: like smelling a newborn baby. Baby everywhere those of this church.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: And now won't you come? What show code up at
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: the time you're listening to Welcome back to Steve Hardy
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Morning Show Call. What's the latest? End is coronavirus? What
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: is what's going on? Well? You know what? This is
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: something that I heard yesterday in a move that it
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: shouldn't surprise anyone considering the fact that COVID nineteen is
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: a respiratory illness. Dozens of scientists that the coronavirus is airborne,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: and more than two hundred scientists from around the world
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: have signed onto an open letter to the World Health Organization,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and they're arguing that the disease can be transmitted through
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: small particles that travel through the air. So you're probably saying, okay,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: so what's the difference, right, what's the difference? Well, the
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: World Health Organization, who has maintained that the virus is
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: primarily spread through large droplets expel when an infected person
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: sneezes or cough. But as these doctors see it, the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: virus is airborn, so it could linger in the air
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: longer and infect those who actually breathe. But why aren't
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: we talking about this when the president already told y'all
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: ninety nine percent of the people is all right from this,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: And he didn't tell y'all ain't what he didn't see.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: That is what he said, And he shouldn't have said
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: that one hundred and thirty thousand people have died from that.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: That don't sound harmless. If that sounds harmless to you,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: you're an idiot. But it's because he doesn't care. See,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: as long as it's not him and as long as
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: he wins reelection, that's the only thing that matters to him.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: So he's distancing himself from this COVID thing. Remember when
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: he talked about it every day on TV like they
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: were doing something about it. When the death, Yeah, he
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: got away from it. Now he's turned his attention again, y'all.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Here he comes attacking Black Lives Matter, attacking Bubba Wallace,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: attacking NASCAR for getting rid of the Federate flag, talking
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: about people that want to get rid of these statues
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: are great forefathers. Your father fathers are not great. They're
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: great to who They're great to you. They're great to
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: you because you keep talking about making America great again?
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: What time period do you want to get America back
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: to where it was so damn great because black people
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: wasn't here for that. It's been funky for us the
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: whole damn time, and it seems like it's gotten worse
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: of late, and so now you want to take America
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: back to where So see, man, this guy right here
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: only cares about Donald Trump and the reelection of Donald
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Trump for two reason. He just wants to win. And
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: number two, he know if he loses. New York is
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: pressing charges and you can't hide behind, you can't sit,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: you can't indict a sitting president. All them charges that's
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: on him that they can't levy right now because they
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: can't indict a sitting president. If he loses in November,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: they're coming for his ass. See, you ain't telling a
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: judge in New York you ain't turning in your tax forms.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You're gonna turn him in. You can do that as
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: president because you got all his power. But if he
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: loses in November, he knows what's going Listen to me.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Michael Cohen was going to jail, Manefit going to jail.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Flynn was going to jail. Roger Stone going to jail.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: These all his boys going to jail. Why why would
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: he go to jail. They went to jail because of
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: stuff they were doing for him him. Yeah, as soon
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: as he can't lose this election, he's buying time four
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: more years if he has got to win, and he
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: would do anything to win. So now since the black
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: vote is so important and Donald Trump can't seem to
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: garner the black vote, now he's up the racial rhetoric.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Damn the black vote. So nis, black lives matter. If
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: you start looting, we started shooting. Now, is you all
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: against the American flag? Bubba Wallace all to apologize for
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: he's trying to change the narrative and be devisive all
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: the time. Every time he changes the narrative, it has
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: something to do against a black person. And for these
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: black ass people that's up there talking about blacks for
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Trump and dancing at the rallies, what they yeah? Yon? Man,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Come on, man, are you serious? He's done? So what
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: has Donald Trump done for black people? Name me one
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: thing that your black ass has benefited from? Because he
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: the damn president? What I'm black? I'm waiting what you
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: ain't got one up? Man, Get out of here with
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: this man coming up. More of today's trending news stories

- 1:16:13Speaker 1: If we vote, we can determine who the president is. Yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: if we stayed home in twenty sixteen, that's right, right.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: If black people turn out at the polls, you determine
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: who the president is. That's why they all ask for
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: your vote. They know. But now the best thing to
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: do is vote a suppression to get you to stay home.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: We're not staying home this trip no more. To Steve
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Harry Morning Show trin the News at thirty three after
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the hour you're listening, all right, Abody, we're back in
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: time for national news, entertainment news, call it what you got. Well,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: first of all, you know we talked about this earlier.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: We are sending our prayers of healing to your friend, Steve,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: our friend Ricky Smiley and his family, Ricky's daughter. If
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: you guys have not heard, Rickie's daughter, Aaron, was shot
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: three times while in a car in Houston. She was
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: going to get something to eat. These This is early reports.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: According to ABC thirteen News in Houston, there is a
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: restaurant in Houston called water Burger. It's a Hamburger fast
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: food chain. And she she was with some friends I
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: assume in the car, and the police believe that this
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: incident has to do with road rage and road rage.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Tommy is from Houston. Junior is from Houston. It is
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: a problem in Houston. It is a big problem in Houston.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: And the suspect pulled up to the car and opened
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: fired and three people, including Ricky Smiley's daughter Erin, were
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: in the car, but managed to drive to the hospital.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: As you know, our hearts were broken. We're devastated. When
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: we all heard the news. Steve, you just said that
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: you text Ricky and you talked to him last night. Yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: I'm just texting. We didn't talk, you know, I don't Yeah,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you know. I try to not to get in a
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: person's space times like this because you don't know where
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: to at. But I did text him. He text me
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: right back. He told me he was good. He said
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: his daughter's fine. He said he was waiting to see it.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: They won't let him in because you know, it's a hospital,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: this COVID thing, it's code. This is crazy, man. You
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: can't see a loved one, a person that's dying from
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: COVID can't get a visitor, you know what I mean.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: And so you got your other relatives in there for
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: us something else, and you still can't get visitor. So
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: he's waiting, hoping to see his little girl. And then, um,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: you know, she's got to get transferred somewhere. So he's
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: hoping right in there that he'll get to see us somewhere.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: So he said everything was fine. She had surgery. It
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: was a success and good, Thank god. I hope, I
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: just hope she. I hope she has no complications after that.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: You know, you get through it, just nothing that you
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: just got to carry for the rest of your life. Now, yeah,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I mean, you know, but there is a mental thing
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: that comes with being shot. Oh yeah, this is trauma,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: it's post traumatic. I don't want to get into my
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: total pass but there's some stuff that go with that. Yeah,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: you know, you kind of don't. You're nothing to talk
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: about that though, you're nothing. I'm gonna let that go. Well,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: we're praying for Aaron and Ricky, and Aaron is recovering
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: from surgery, and we just have to keep praying, lifting
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: her up and prayer, lifting Ricky up and praying. You know,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you know what bothers me more than anything. We are
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: so and I'm with this movement that's happening right now.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Black lives matter. I just I can't wait for black
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: lives to matter to each other. Well, we're not killing
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: each other. I can't wait for that, man, black that
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: is for everybody, it's for us too as a piece.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Then let's all get on this. Then, Hey, Ricky, we're
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: praying for your family, man. We love you, brother, we
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: care about you man, We are praying for you. Man.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Coming up this last break of the day, we got
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: a closing march from U Steak. Let's go you're listen
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: all right, uncs how last break a day called Tommy?
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: You know, yeah, good Tuesday. Hey, y'all, let me say
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: this right here, my closing remarks. Man, I've just so
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: pointed because I I'm feeling so many things, and I
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: feel obligated to say, but I want to talk about
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: this upcoming election that we have in four months. We
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: are four months away. I wish and I want black
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: people to understand how important you are. This thing that
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: these young people out here pushing Black lives matter. It's
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: one of the greatest protests I've seen in my lifetime,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I said, one of them. But I'm old enough to
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: have lived through the Civil rights movement, so I was
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: watching Martin Luther King as a child and admiring him
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: growing up even after his passing patterned a lot of
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: what I did after him. But these young lions is
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: out there roaring in the streets for Black lives matter.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Of this one of the most important movements I've seen
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: in a long time. And I congratulate you all on
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: every level of your protests Black lives matters, and the
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: way I want you to look at this and the
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: way I want to equate this and try to get
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: us to motivate it around this call black lives matter,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: and to really make them count and matter, you have
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: to realize that your vote is an important part of
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: your life. So if black lives matter, you have to
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: take into consideration that your vote is an important part
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: of your life. And for too many and for too
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: many years is and too long, we have overlooked the
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: importance of our vote in changing our lives. To make
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: our lives matter, because black lives matters, asking people to
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: change policy. Best way to change policy is what you'll vote.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: We have to vote in November. We have to send
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: a clear and concise message to everyone that we are
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: going to show you how powerful and big we are.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: We've already made a major contribution to this country and
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: we continue to. We built this nation. If it was
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: not for slavery, this nation would not be what it is.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I'm just going to tell you the truth. Black people,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: on the backs of black people, built this nation. We
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: are a major contributor to the fiber of this country.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Don't you think for a moment that we're not. Because
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something. A lot of money us
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: being made today was made because of the free labor
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: that was produced by Africans that allowed people to take
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: their money and invested into other things. Tobacco, catch up, mayonnaids,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: automobile parts, our clothing. It goes on and on and
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: on and on and on. The businesses that they were
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: able to open and extend and extend to their families
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: now because of the free labor that they had from
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: the backs of Africans. That's us. That's us. We made
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: this country. And so now to help them understand black
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: lives matter, we have got to show them how powerful
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: we are. Listen to me. Trump won in Wisconsin, Trump
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: won in Detroit, Michigan. He won in Pennsylvania, PA. He
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: won Georgia. Do you know that in those states alone,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: over a million black people did not vote. Over one
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: million black people. I'm talking about well over one million
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: black people set out in those five places four I
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: named four, over a million that would have did it.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: To dude only one by eleven thousand, sixty six thousand,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: one hundred and thirteen thousand. He only won by those margins.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Right there. We had a million people just in five
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: cities set at home. We could have changed the course
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: of this thing. We wouldn't even be talking about this
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: dude right now. We wouldn't even be discussing him. We
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: wouldn't even be shamed of him. We have a president
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: that's mad at NASCAR because they banned the Confederate flag.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: We got a president who tweets out a man riding
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: on a golf cart saying white power. And you're gonna
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: sit home again and let him get in again. No
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: you're not, No, you're not. You're gonna take your Black
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: lives matter and you're gonna put it in the polls
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: and we're gonna show him that our vote matters because
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: our vote is a reason we have a life in
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: the beginning, and nothing matters more to your life than
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: your vote. We're gonna to the polls, man, We're gonna
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: take this anger we got for this dude up in
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: here that's got these white supremacy groups and all these
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: malicious coming forward thinking they got a dude in the
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: White House, because they do, they gotta dude in the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: White House. And we're gonna let him stay that. No,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: not this November. You want, not this November because Black
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: lives matter. It's gonna show you the power of the
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: black vote. Listen to me, black people. Why do you
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: think every politician coverts the black vote because they know
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: if they could just sway you, they could win the election.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: That's what voter suppression is all about. That's why they
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: had these long lines in the primary to get you
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: discouraged about voting, so you don't go down there and
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: do it in November. No. No, we're going to get
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: in line. I'm passing out water, I'm passing out chairs.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna have it all over the country. I'm passing
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: our water in chairs. We're gonna sit in line until
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: we vote you out. You will not be president again.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: I'm tired of traveling around the country trying to explain this. Dude.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: I've never been more ashamed of a president in my life.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: I wasn't ashamed a Bush, Reagan, none of them. This
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: one right here, Shame on America, and we're gonna vote
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: him out. Black lives matter because your vote matters more
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary void where
