- 0:15Speaker 2: Back.
- 0:15Speaker 4: A million bus busy listening to show.
- 0:38Speaker 5: I don't joy, yeah, joy show.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You you.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Turn turn.
- 1:31Speaker 6: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 4: To turn them out turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 4: the mouth, tut the water.
- 1:47Speaker 3: The mony up. Look me come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey, I got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Real grateful for that. You know, it's funny. I remember
- 2:14Speaker 2: when I first started out in radio. A lot of
- 2:17Speaker 2: my peers laughed at me. Some of it was being
- 2:20Speaker 2: mean spirited, some of it was just you know, marckt me.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm used to stuff like that. But I had as
- 2:27Speaker 2: a special guest on my show, Joe Oldstein, and you
- 2:30Speaker 2: know something, man, he says something that was I can't
- 2:34Speaker 2: remember the scripture. I don't know exactly how it were.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Like we were having a long conversation, but the gist
- 2:39Speaker 2: of it was, don't be upset with where you are now,
- 2:42Speaker 2: and don't be upset with the small things in your life.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Be grateful for the small things and the small position
- 2:49Speaker 2: that you have right now, because you don't know where
- 2:51Speaker 2: that's going. You don't know what that's gonna be one day.
- 2:53Speaker 2: You don't know what that's gonna lead to. And that
- 2:56Speaker 2: was very warming to hear him say that. But it
- 3:00Speaker 2: also reminded me of when I started in radio, how
- 3:02Speaker 2: small it was. It reminded me of when I started
- 3:06Speaker 2: in stand up making twenty five dollars a show. It
- 3:09Speaker 2: reminds me of not having a home at a period
- 3:13Speaker 2: in my life and what God has allowed me to
- 3:16Speaker 2: live in now. So don't be distraught over your position now,
- 3:22Speaker 2: and don't be ungrateful or unappreciative for the things you
- 3:26Speaker 2: have now because you don't know what that's going to
- 3:27Speaker 2: grow into. And that's really the gist of that I
- 3:30Speaker 2: got from what he was saying. I just wanted to
- 3:32Speaker 2: share that with you, that where you are now is
- 3:35Speaker 2: so temporary because now, like I've said before, now is
- 3:39Speaker 2: a fleeting moment. Right after you finish saying now, that
- 3:42Speaker 2: moment that you claimed as now, that's gone. So the
- 3:46Speaker 2: where you are now is a very fleeting process. Now
- 3:50Speaker 2: you can change where you are now, and you can
- 3:53Speaker 2: change how you feel about where you're at now, and
- 3:56Speaker 2: you can change about where you're going by simply changing
- 4:01Speaker 2: your mind. It is no difference. I'm telling you, folks,
- 4:05Speaker 2: the thing that I've learned about successful people is not
- 4:09Speaker 2: so much of what they do. It's not what they have.
- 4:13Speaker 2: The biggest thing I've learned about successful people is how
- 4:16Speaker 2: they think. That's the thing that's different. It's how they think.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And I'm telling you that you can change the way
- 4:25Speaker 2: you think on any subject and start becoming successful towards that.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Starting now, you have to understand that. Man, the biggest
- 4:35Speaker 2: difference I've noticed between successful people and non successful people
- 4:40Speaker 2: is how they think. I was reading what is God
- 4:45Speaker 2: said that he was taught all wrong about money. He
- 4:48Speaker 2: said that his father was very negative about money. He
- 4:52Speaker 2: all throughout his life he heard his father say, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 2: people who got money have walked on somebody to get it,
- 4:58Speaker 2: or cheated somebody get it. People who have money, money
- 5:02Speaker 2: is the root of all evil. Money is money is this,
- 5:05Speaker 2: And people who got money, you know, don't deserve it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: They've done something wrong to get it, y'all. To y'all, So,
- 5:11Speaker 2: he said, he grew up the whole time thinking that
- 5:14Speaker 2: having money was something was wrong with that. He discovered
- 5:17Speaker 2: that it wasn't. Look you can choose to be successful
- 5:21Speaker 2: anywhere you want to. I've chosen several ways to be successful.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I want to be a very, very successful father. I
- 5:27Speaker 2: think that's one of the things that's paramount in my
- 5:30Speaker 2: life that I really am working hard right now to
- 5:34Speaker 2: become a successful father. Not a successful father in terms
- 5:38Speaker 2: of money, but a successful father in terms of offering
- 5:43Speaker 2: the amount of love and guidance and leadership and the
- 5:46Speaker 2: example that my children need to look at. And that's
- 5:50Speaker 2: what I'm really really working hard at now. I want
- 5:52Speaker 2: to be successful as a father, but also I want
- 5:55Speaker 2: to be successful as a husband. You know. I want
- 5:58Speaker 2: Marjorie to always notice she can count on me, to
- 6:01Speaker 2: not have to wonder about me or look for me.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You know. I want her to feel secure in the
- 6:07Speaker 2: fact that I really have gotten it right, that I
- 6:11Speaker 2: really am focused on being a good husband to her
- 6:14Speaker 2: because it means so much to me, you know. So
- 6:17Speaker 2: I'm working hard on a lot of levels. I'm working
- 6:20Speaker 2: hard and trying very strong to be a successful motivator
- 6:24Speaker 2: of people. I want to be a share of information
- 6:27Speaker 2: to people that will uplift others and give others the
- 6:30Speaker 2: same things that I've learned through the trials and tribulations
- 6:35Speaker 2: of my life. But at the same time share that
- 6:37Speaker 2: information and use the power of this microphone to uplift people,
- 6:42Speaker 2: you know, not to destroy. My show is not about Oh,
- 6:44Speaker 2: guess what so and so said? Guess what so and
- 6:46Speaker 2: so did. I don't like mean spirited things about people,
- 6:49Speaker 2: you know. I joke with people who calling this that's
- 6:52Speaker 2: another thing. But I don't like destroying people with the
- 6:55Speaker 2: power of the microphone. So I'm working very hard on
- 6:57Speaker 2: being successful in a lot of areas of my life. Also,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I do care about being financially successful too, because my father.
- 7:05Speaker 2: One of the gifts he gave me was very simple gift.
- 7:08Speaker 2: He told me a long time ago. He said, son,
- 7:10Speaker 2: the best thing you can do for poor people is
- 7:13Speaker 2: not be one of them. And that stuck with me.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And this was a hard working man who was a
- 7:19Speaker 2: coal miner who worked construction his entire life. My father
- 7:23Speaker 2: didn't have an easy life man. My father didn't sit
- 7:26Speaker 2: behind a microphone. My father didn't come to work and
- 7:29Speaker 2: people cheered for him. My father wasn't famous. My father
- 7:33Speaker 2: was just a go get it, dude, that he instilled
- 7:37Speaker 2: that in me and I've taken that and applied it
- 7:39Speaker 2: to my craft and I thank God for him for that.
- 7:41Speaker 2: But I do try to be financially successful so that
- 7:45Speaker 2: I can do some things with it to help some
- 7:47Speaker 2: other people. Now, am I opposed to having nice things?
- 7:51Speaker 7: No?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Do I apologize for having nice things?
- 7:54Speaker 7: No?
- 7:54Speaker 2: And why should I? I work? You know, I'm not
- 7:58Speaker 2: on the radio asking to give me money, you know,
- 8:01Speaker 2: so I can go buy a car. I'm working, so
- 8:04Speaker 2: I don't feel how you want to feel. And other
- 8:07Speaker 2: people do feel that way about it. But if success
- 8:10Speaker 2: in terms of finance is what you're lacking, you can
- 8:13Speaker 2: go about the business of doing that. I'm writing a
- 8:16Speaker 2: book and that whole book is about teaching people how
- 8:19Speaker 2: to become successful. And man, I'm breaking it down in
- 8:23Speaker 2: a way where everybody can get it, man, because I
- 8:26Speaker 2: want the college student to get it, you know, I
- 8:28Speaker 2: want the working mom to get it, to single mom
- 8:31Speaker 2: to get it. The hard working father that has been
- 8:34Speaker 2: trying to hold his family together can get it. The
- 8:36Speaker 2: father that ain't ever got it together and feel that
- 8:39Speaker 2: because of that reason, he can't be the father he
- 8:42Speaker 2: needs to be. I'm writing something, man, to put it
- 8:45Speaker 2: into words, to let you know that God is a
- 8:48Speaker 2: forgiving God, and that God is a merciful God, and
- 8:51Speaker 2: that God can get you out of any situation you
- 8:55Speaker 2: find yourself in. You just can't beat yourself up every
- 8:58Speaker 2: time you make a mistake, mistakes all the time. Man,
- 9:01Speaker 2: I just got to remind myself to get up. I
- 9:04Speaker 2: ask God for forgiveness, I call on his mercy and
- 9:08Speaker 2: his grace, and I get up and I go again.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But it's coming, man. And if finance success is what
- 9:13Speaker 2: you want, you got to change your mind. You got
- 9:15Speaker 2: to start thinking about how to produce it. The first
- 9:19Speaker 2: thing you do is you got to ask. You got
- 9:21Speaker 2: to ask to have a life and have a life
- 9:24Speaker 2: more abundantly. That's a scripture that He comes to you
- 9:28Speaker 2: to give you life and to give you life more abundantly.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That's a scripture. That ain't a joke, that ain't a theory.
- 9:35Speaker 2: That's a fact, and the fact that if you don't
- 9:38Speaker 2: have a life of abundance, you can get that by asking.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Then it starts by believing. And how too, don't even
- 9:44Speaker 2: worry about that. He takes care of that himself. He'll
- 9:47Speaker 2: send the stuff your way, but you got to be
- 9:49Speaker 2: willing to put some effort in this thing now, and
- 9:51Speaker 2: you can do it. Okay. I know I was a
- 9:53Speaker 2: little around the place today, but that's what it was.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So you know, let's go get it.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. It is here again. Another great opportunity,
- 10:08Speaker 2: another blessing from God, another shot at it, another chance. Man,
- 10:13Speaker 2: It's just opportunity. And what a blessing it is to
- 10:16Speaker 2: be here today. It is just an extreme blessing to
- 10:20Speaker 2: be here today. Man, ain't you glad you didn't miss it?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Another one? He'd hae done another one. Man, I'm over
- 10:30Speaker 2: the moon with this. Let's go Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 10:33Speaker 2: Shirley Strawberry College for Real, Mississippi, Monica. And the legend
- 10:37Speaker 2: that is a junior and then the legend that he
- 10:40Speaker 2: is nephew Tommy Junior wants on your mind.
- 10:41Speaker 8: Man, Hey, uncle, let me talk to you about something, man,
- 10:44Speaker 8: about being grateful for the journey. By being grateful for
- 10:47Speaker 8: the journey, you know, over the break man, when I
- 10:48Speaker 8: had had this guy come to me and says, man,
- 10:52Speaker 8: I don't know how you sit next to Steve Harp
- 10:53Speaker 8: every day and don't feel some type of way You're like,
- 10:56Speaker 8: I'm sitting there trying to feel like feel like what
- 10:58Speaker 8: because of his success? Or like I should be jealous
- 11:02Speaker 8: of you? Or I don't even understand how that what
- 11:05Speaker 8: would make you even think of that?
- 11:06Speaker 2: You know, I don't understand what does he mean by
- 11:10Speaker 2: your success?
- 11:10Speaker 8: And I'm sitting here like I should be upset because
- 11:12Speaker 8: you ain't doing more for me, or something like I'm like, what,
- 11:15Speaker 8: I'm grateful for my own journey. I don't have to
- 11:17Speaker 8: be your journey.
- 11:19Speaker 7: Uh.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Well, see, here's a deal. Here's where a lot of
- 11:22Speaker 2: people get mixed up.
- 11:23Speaker 9: And even people who are of faith in business, deals,
- 11:30Speaker 9: in relationships, in work, in everything.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Your greatest chance for success and you're optimizing any opportunity
- 11:42Speaker 2: you have should not be tied to another person or
- 11:46Speaker 2: group of people. Steve Harvey does not have the ability
- 11:52Speaker 2: to make or break anyone. Now, have I assisted some
- 11:57Speaker 2: people along the way? Of course? Has it been my
- 12:01Speaker 2: duty and obligation to provide for certain people along the way?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Of course? It is my duty and my honor as
- 12:08Speaker 2: a father and a husband to do my duty in
- 12:11Speaker 2: terms of protection and provision one hundred percent. But after that, man,
- 12:17Speaker 2: I really don't. I don't owe anybody anything. I will
- 12:22Speaker 2: help you out the goodness of my heart with some
- 12:24Speaker 2: advice or something like that. But I had to learn
- 12:30Speaker 2: a long time ago. Man, stop tying your dreams, hopes
- 12:34Speaker 2: and aspiration to people and put your faith in God, man,
- 12:37Speaker 2: because people will let you down. Do you know how
- 12:41Speaker 2: many people have not done what they said they was
- 12:43Speaker 2: gonna do in your life? Do you know how many
- 12:47Speaker 2: meetings you've been to and been promised stuff and that
- 12:50Speaker 2: meeting turned out to be a zero? Do you know
- 12:52Speaker 2: how many plans you've put on paper that did not
- 12:56Speaker 2: come to fruition? Do you know how many doors have
- 13:00Speaker 2: been slammed in your face by so called friends, family,
- 13:05Speaker 2: co workers, bosses, companies? And I've just had to learn
- 13:10Speaker 2: when them doors get slammed in my face, don't stand
- 13:12Speaker 2: there beating on that door. Walk up the hall. God
- 13:16Speaker 2: got some more doors for you, man. So I don't
- 13:19Speaker 2: put my faith in people no more.
- 13:21Speaker 7: So.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you sitting next to me every morning, you ought
- 13:24Speaker 2: to feel some kind of way. No, just learn what
- 13:26Speaker 2: you can learn, if you can learn something from it,
- 13:27Speaker 2: if I can give you a piece of advice I will.
- 13:29Speaker 2: But after that, Steve Harvey, ain't any dream making come
- 13:32Speaker 2: true business. That's God, because he the one got me
- 13:35Speaker 2: where I am today. It wasn't me man, all right?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, the
- 13:42Speaker 1: pastors are up with the word right after this.
- 13:46Speaker 10: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:53Speaker 8: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,
- 13:55Speaker 8: planning and hard work to get in the doors.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Didn't make that house a home. Now all that effort
- 14:00Speaker 1: has built something hugely valuable.

- 14:26Speaker 1: jam with a word.
- 14:29Speaker 11: We we forgevel into ausponosity of awareness and bulgarvity.
- 14:42Speaker 2: We know that if we reenterate as we partificate. Yeah,
- 14:50Speaker 2: before somebody had to go in there and DIALI I
- 14:55Speaker 2: know you thought I would go say deficat you call me.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Change it.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'll whipped round on.
- 15:02Speaker 2: You for the word.
- 15:05Speaker 6: All right past, we're going to go to the Book
- 15:09Speaker 6: of Temptation. Past that temptation start with a verse three.
- 15:15Speaker 6: That's chapter three, Verse two of it was, we're gonna
- 15:19Speaker 6: start right here past. It was the third of September,
- 15:24Speaker 6: the day I'll always remember.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Stop right third or September. That's for a while. That
- 15:33Speaker 2: day are always remember.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Why read because that was the day that my dad
- 15:42Speaker 6: had died.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Stop right there.
- 15:44Speaker 6: If it for a moment in the life of a child, read,
- 15:49Speaker 6: Come on. I never got a chance to see him,
- 15:54Speaker 6: never heard nothing but bad things about him.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Stop right there, Yeah, absent tee faught take it. Yeah, daddy, Yes, sir, yes, sir,
- 16:08Speaker 2: fathering without being a daddy.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Read Mama, I'm depending on you to tell me the truth.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Stop right there. Probably got a chance in hell, it
- 16:21Speaker 2: just happened, but go ahead on ree.
- 16:24Speaker 6: Mama just hung her head and said, son, Papa was
- 16:29Speaker 6: a rolling stone.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Stop right there. When you said, Mama, I'm depending on
- 16:36Speaker 2: you to tell me the truth. When she hung away,
- 16:42Speaker 2: that was a clue that it wasn't gonna be good news,
- 16:45Speaker 2: she said, son, Papa or was a rolling stone? Or
- 16:52Speaker 2: what you mean by that?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Mama?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Ree?
- 16:55Speaker 1: What happened?
- 16:56Speaker 6: He laid his hat was his home, and when he died,
- 17:01Speaker 6: all he left us was alone, stop right there?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Worthless?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yes, that's no.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Good, low accountability, preach pastor rimmaging roaming from house to house. Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 2: wherever he laid his hat was his home. And and
- 17:24Speaker 2: then he died.
- 17:26Speaker 3: And all he left us was alone.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Where is my head?
- 17:33Speaker 12: Is that?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Where's the money? Where's the issue? Where's her to help
- 17:38Speaker 2: pay for this?
- 17:38Speaker 3: Bire?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Why you didn't leave us with it? I don't want
- 17:42Speaker 2: no pack?
- 17:42Speaker 3: Read?
- 17:45Speaker 8: Uh?
- 17:45Speaker 2: It says passed that.
- 17:46Speaker 6: The scripture says, hey, mama, is it true what they
- 17:49Speaker 6: say that Papa never worked today in his life?
- 17:52Speaker 2: Stop right there. I'm assuming since when he died, all
- 17:58Speaker 2: he left us was alone. I'm assuming he wasn't working,
- 18:03Speaker 2: no well.
- 18:06Speaker 12: Down.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Had he been working somewhere, yeah, there would be some
- 18:11Speaker 2: type of benefit IRA, A Social Security check on pension
- 18:18Speaker 2: fund coming out would have been coming our way. Read
- 18:23Speaker 2: and then and the scripture picks up past.
- 18:25Speaker 1: He says, and Mama, some bad talk going.
- 18:27Speaker 6: Around town saying that Papa had three outside children and
- 18:31Speaker 6: a love of wife.
- 18:32Speaker 2: And that ain't right. Stop right there. You should have
- 18:37Speaker 2: never bought it up in the first Please when you said, Mama,
- 18:45Speaker 2: I'm depending on you to tell me the truth. When
- 18:50Speaker 2: she hung ahead, wasn't not the bad news? After that,
- 18:53Speaker 2: she said, first of all, listening to your first first
- 18:55Speaker 2: year papa with a rolling stone? Did she said? Wherever
- 19:00Speaker 2: he laid his hat was his home. And then she said,
- 19:05Speaker 2: and when he died, all he left us was alone.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And then he said, I heard.
- 19:14Speaker 2: That papa had three other children, two outsidewise, and that
- 19:20Speaker 2: ain't right. Well, it's too late for all that. And
- 19:23Speaker 2: now because they had him anyway, kids everywhere, slung all
- 19:27Speaker 2: over the county. He kids at the funeral, we don't recognize.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Let me introduce you to your half brother, your half sister,
- 19:35Speaker 2: your infidel cousin. Let me introduce you to Barbara, Jean
- 19:39Speaker 2: and Mary had. Let me introduce you to Beggy Seu
- 19:42Speaker 2: and Tim is there? Who the hell is Glinda? He
- 19:44Speaker 2: that was your mama? To here's a world of confusion
- 19:47Speaker 2: going on at this here funeral. Who is Glindall? Who
- 19:50Speaker 2: is Brenda? Who is Patricia? I got about five mamas
- 19:54Speaker 2: in here, all these brothers assistant. And when he died,
- 19:57Speaker 2: he didn't leave us alone. He left us with everybody else.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Reach it picks up, It picks up and says, hurt.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Some talk Papa doing some stone.
- 20:08Speaker 6: Front preaching, talking about saving souls, and all the time

- 22:24Speaker 1: it is asked the CLO, our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey,
- 22:29Speaker 1: This is from Tracy in Detroit. Tracy says, my husband's
- 22:33Speaker 1: twin brother created problems in our friend group because he
- 22:37Speaker 1: slept with two of my single girlfriends. I uninvited him
- 22:42Speaker 1: to our cookout for the fourth and he told my
- 22:44Speaker 1: husband to check me. Why is my husband mad at
- 22:47Speaker 1: me and not his brother?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Wait a minute, why are you mad after brother because
- 22:55Speaker 2: he slept with two of our single girlfriends. You're free
- 22:57Speaker 2: and slept with him too.
- 23:00Speaker 1: But yeah, she's thinking he's causing problems in the group
- 23:05Speaker 1: because he slept with both of them. Wait, maybe that
- 23:08Speaker 1: ain't jo call.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So now and this is his brother. He gonna side
- 23:13Speaker 2: with his brother.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Why you in it?
- 23:16Speaker 2: But he Why you in it? Why are you blocking
- 23:20Speaker 2: his brother? Say? It ain't your business. He slept with
- 23:25Speaker 2: He slept with two of your friends. Your friends slept
- 23:29Speaker 2: with him. They both wanted him.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You know they're mad. The two girlfriends aren't getting along.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Now, Okay, so now he can't come to the cookout. No,
- 23:39Speaker 2: it ain't causing him. He's caused of dimp. Both of
- 23:42Speaker 2: them slept with it with him.
- 23:44Speaker 1: They're mad at him.
- 23:45Speaker 2: You mad at their fault.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You know they didn't know he was sleeping around.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You know that. Sure you don't. You don't know that
- 23:55Speaker 2: they friends, they won and they made them okay, but
- 24:00Speaker 2: listen to Michelley. One of them could have been in
- 24:02Speaker 2: front of girl. I got with him and he was everything,
- 24:06Speaker 2: and then the other went old, really well, let me
- 24:10Speaker 2: see what it's about, and it could have been that.
- 24:13Speaker 2: See you don't know, but see y'are always taking the
- 24:17Speaker 2: side of each other without knowing what happened. Yeah, girl,
- 24:21Speaker 2: and yeah, so yeah, see that's what I'm here for.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Uh huh and and brother. Twin brothers obviously stick together
- 24:27Speaker 1: as they shoot against his wife.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Now that ain't against his wife. The wife is against
- 24:33Speaker 2: the twin brother. The brother ain't said nothing to the wife.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Why is my husband mad at me and not his brother.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Because his brother ain't did nothing wrong. He's singing. He
- 24:45Speaker 2: mad at you because you're trying to check a grown
- 24:47Speaker 2: man that this ain't your husband. You check me, you
- 24:51Speaker 2: don't check my brother. Mind Joe business.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Well his brother told him to check her.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yeah, because he could have been the twin brother that
- 24:59Speaker 2: was over there been your hood.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, we're gonna move on after that. That
- 25:12Speaker 1: was good, all right? Eileen in Tampa says, my husband
- 25:17Speaker 1: told me that my ex husband is in the hospital.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I asked so many questions that my husband told me.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I'm too concerned. I called my ex sister in law
- 25:26Speaker 1: to check on my ax. Why would my husband mention
- 25:28Speaker 1: it and then get upset about it.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I don't know. I wouldn't have said nothing. Yeah, you
- 25:34Speaker 2: wanted to see your reaction. You gave it to I
- 25:37Speaker 2: don't give it. If you ad a car accident with
- 25:40Speaker 2: meet anything you saying anything he can hit my car?
- 25:53Speaker 2: See whatever?
- 25:53Speaker 1: Open your mouth.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I was an accident.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Who hit you?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Some of them? Let me. You won't believe who I
- 26:03Speaker 2: ran into today?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Literally?
- 26:09Speaker 2: All right?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Okay? Moving on to Vic in DC. VIC says, I'm
- 26:15Speaker 1: the chapter president for my fraternity, and I'm not with
- 26:19Speaker 1: the brothers doing all the line dances, but my chapter
- 26:23Speaker 1: plans to enter a competition. I'm side eyeing, side eyeing
- 26:27Speaker 1: my brothers, but they're still doing it. Do I have
- 26:29Speaker 1: to be a team player? Or can I sit this
- 26:32Speaker 1: one out?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Can I say something?
- 26:37Speaker 3: Go ahead?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Tell you all your cap is right now.
- 26:40Speaker 6: If y'all pull all them fans out and start dancing
- 26:42Speaker 6: with them fans, I'm gonna hoop.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You'll I'll tell y'all there right now.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Well, you feel the same way as Vic, the chapter president. Yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 1: he along with See, let me tell you something.

- 27:08Speaker 2: y'all what y'all doing now?
- 27:10Speaker 7: With no?
- 27:11Speaker 1: Everybody's doing it?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Can about need it? Don't need it?
- 27:15Speaker 1: Why are you so mad about it?
- 27:17Speaker 3: It's just a dance?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm cool with what is we dancing?
- 27:21Speaker 3: Fo whoa?
- 27:22Speaker 1: No, we can't dance, Dan. The party is social.
- 27:25Speaker 2: So we'll frat What is we getting in line? Dance
- 27:28Speaker 2: and conference? You go to stomp shows?
- 27:30Speaker 3: Why not?
- 27:31Speaker 1: You're grown? That was fraternity stuff was in college anyway?
- 27:35Speaker 3: Right?
- 27:35Speaker 6: Wait, miss ship, you don't know what. You don't know
- 27:37Speaker 6: what I pull up your way out of line now,
- 27:41Speaker 6: see right there.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Show man.
- 27:45Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, dance, get a towel, not your finger or something.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Don't don't pop no fan.
- 27:58Speaker 2: But there's more than just that.
- 28:00Speaker 1: When you can do to keep it on one yeah
- 28:04Speaker 1: you know yeah, yeah cupid?
- 28:07Speaker 14: Yeah to me, that one's.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Hard, yes, hard turning, Yes, you got to stand up.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Then no our frad the old fashioned way we stop.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Those days are done. The new brothers got new ways
- 28:25Speaker 2: of doing. It's a lot more, a lot more integral,
- 28:28Speaker 2: a lot lot deeper than what we did. That's the
- 28:31Speaker 2: way it is, you know, splits and twirls and hops,
- 28:37Speaker 2: and you know it's cool. I mean the brothers and brothers.
- 28:41Speaker 2: The thing's done evolved, it's different now. So it is
- 28:44Speaker 2: what it is. But we're not if I catch it
- 28:46Speaker 2: with a fan though, just don't take take our take
- 28:54Speaker 2: take our letters off. They don't have our colors out there.
- 29:01Speaker 2: What we in in a dance contest? Folk? Ye, stomp shows,
- 29:06Speaker 2: step shows, whatever you want to call it, stomps and steps.
- 29:09Speaker 2: What is you out here? Lying dancing folks?
- 29:11Speaker 1: Because that's what people do now, this crown, isn't it's
- 29:15Speaker 1: fun The fraternities ain't.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Qu's been having boots on the ground. Yeah, so that
- 29:23Speaker 2: was a song called boots on the ground. We was
- 29:26Speaker 2: always boosting on the ground. See, Shirley, we're gonna stick
- 29:32Speaker 2: with you, We stick with I came.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I don't understand why you gots it so mad?
- 29:42Speaker 2: All right?
- 29:42Speaker 1: Last one Coco and Mesquite says, I'm forty four years
- 29:46Speaker 1: old and I'm sleeping with a guy that's married. He
- 29:48Speaker 1: spends most of his time at my house, but he's
- 29:50Speaker 1: still living with his wife. I saw legal separation papers,
- 29:54Speaker 1: so I expect him to move. He gets testy when
- 29:57Speaker 1: I ask him about it. Is he lying to me?
- 30:00Speaker 11: Now?
- 30:00Speaker 2: He tested because it's hard. You know, you keep asking
- 30:05Speaker 2: him about it. You can't move it along no faster
- 30:09Speaker 2: than it's.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Going okay, all right?
- 30:12Speaker 2: And his marriage ain't really your business because you didn't
- 30:16Speaker 2: have no problem with him when you were sleeping with him,
- 30:18Speaker 2: when you knew he was married.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Right, all right, Celo put a button on that. Thank you.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:27Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 30:32Speaker 1: Steve Hardy Morning Show. We got to ask, first off,
- 30:39Speaker 1: how is it you guys weekend? Steve? We know you
- 30:42Speaker 1: went to see Beyonce.
- 30:43Speaker 2: How was that? Yeah? I'm tack to tell you one
- 30:46Speaker 2: thing for sure. This woman hands down and I've seen everybody.
- 30:53Speaker 2: There's no one I haven't seen. And that's considered great. No,
- 30:58Speaker 2: that's considered great. Whitney Michael Prince Luther. I saw the Rollerstones,
- 31:04Speaker 2: Usher turn and our team turner the Bible strike, saying
- 31:09Speaker 2: out of bro I can go share. I have seen
- 31:12Speaker 2: them all lied Beyonce. It's the coldest living performer today.
- 31:18Speaker 2: The only person I've ever seen in my life that
- 31:23Speaker 2: could outperform Beyonce is Michael period period, and only because
- 31:31Speaker 2: his global fame was so he was. He was at
- 31:36Speaker 2: a level of global fame before social media anyway. The
- 31:40Speaker 2: Armies had to carry this dude around in in in
- 31:43Speaker 2: every country. That's the only reason he he if he
- 31:46Speaker 2: was in this social media ERAa he he was out
- 31:49Speaker 2: of the stratus f Beyonce his coldest thing I've ever seen.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I've never seen anybody perform as many songs, sing at
- 31:57Speaker 2: the level she sings that and dulse the choreograph feet
- 32:00Speaker 2: that she does, but that extended period of time, I
- 32:03Speaker 2: ain't never seen that before. She's a bad girl, man, understand.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Okay, question yes, question? Did you wear your cowboy attire?
- 32:11Speaker 1: Did you have your hat?
- 32:12Speaker 7: No?
- 32:13Speaker 2: I had bought what I was in Paris. I had
- 32:15Speaker 2: bought an her ma's leather shirt.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 32:19Speaker 2: It just so happened to have some real faint horses
- 32:22Speaker 2: on it, okay, And I wore that. That's that was it.
- 32:32Speaker 2: And I wasn't gonna wear that until you know you
- 32:37Speaker 2: use it. You are officially part of the be high Man.
- 32:40Speaker 2: You be high. No, I want, I want to, I
- 32:43Speaker 2: want to adopt to be high high.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You want to, Steve Hi.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I want I want. I want her to jump on
- 32:51Speaker 2: people like they do when they say something crazy about
- 32:56Speaker 2: I want to do.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sorry. The other big show and was, of course,
- 33:00Speaker 1: the Nephew Tommy show, his comedy show uh huh in
- 33:05Speaker 1: Atlanta and Alpharetta, and I got a chance to see that.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It was great. Came to support my friend. It was
- 33:11Speaker 1: really really nice, really nice, really funny, really funny. You laughed,
- 33:17Speaker 1: you cried, You went on this crazy journey with Tommy.
- 33:20Speaker 1: It was really really good. Tommy, I'm proud of what.
- 33:23Speaker 1: You're proud of you because, you know, he talked about
- 33:26Speaker 1: his journey, but he does it in such a comical way.
- 33:29Speaker 1: You're laughing, you're crying. You know what, Tommy went through
- 33:31Speaker 1: his cancer and all of that, so he talks about that,
- 33:35Speaker 1: and you think, how do you make that stuff funny?
- 33:37Speaker 1: You know, I didn't know, but he made it funny.
- 33:40Speaker 1: He really really did, not the cancer itself, but everything
- 33:44Speaker 1: he went through. And you know all that of comment.
- 33:49Speaker 2: You gotta laugh at your pain. Most comedians that's how
- 33:55Speaker 2: they deal with the tragedy. This was some jokes, some
- 33:58Speaker 2: human Yeah, And that's the sadness of comedy today that
- 34:02Speaker 2: there's such a cancel culture. Everybody's so sensitive.
- 34:06Speaker 7: Now.
- 34:06Speaker 2: You can't say nothing about nobody no more. I mean,
- 34:08Speaker 2: you know, I can't say nothing about it. Nobody gain weight,
- 34:12Speaker 2: can't say nothing about it, nobody, you know.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but Temmy, you did that, and congratulations and congratulations.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah. Can I say this because can I say that?
- 34:25Speaker 2: I think this would be clear. I think this could
- 34:27Speaker 2: clear customs. I just I just wanted to say that,
- 34:34Speaker 2: you know, due to the fact that you can't say
- 34:38Speaker 2: nothing no more about nobody, like you can't talk about
- 34:41Speaker 2: people being overweight and stuff like that. Like I've visually
- 34:46Speaker 2: seen people who have picked the wrong pronoun. Clearly, I
- 34:49Speaker 2: know that for a fact you've picked the wrong pronoun.
- 34:52Speaker 15: But you can't say nothing about that, just can't. I
- 34:56Speaker 15: just think you just need to get Yeah, just Tom,
- 35:03Speaker 15: he does not really say it? What God, you know,
- 35:09Speaker 15: I have to say it but you know I've learned
- 35:11Speaker 15: ways to be to stay on the air.
- 35:15Speaker 14: Well, thank you, thank you appreciate that because we all
- 35:19Speaker 14: looking at the radio and the zoom, squint eye and trying, Yeah, let.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Me ask you something. But let me ask you. This
- 35:28Speaker 2: is a question. Have you not looked at somebody and
- 35:31Speaker 2: clearly thought you picked the wrong pronoun?
- 35:36Speaker 1: Okay, I'm just there.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Question like that again.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna say congratulations to Tom.
- 35:46Speaker 6: Show.
- 35:46Speaker 1: If you get a chance, if it's in your city,
- 35:48Speaker 1: make sure you check it out. It was fun and funny,
- 35:51Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to US Weekly, jay Z is
- 35:55Speaker 1: as a federal judge to throw out a lawsuit being
- 35:58Speaker 1: filed by a thirty one year old man that claims
- 36:00Speaker 1: to be jay Z's biological son in May of this
- 36:04Speaker 1: year from Saturday or file the complaints Steve I Know,
- 36:13Speaker 1: stating that jay Z has avoided a paternity test and
- 36:15Speaker 1: he's trying to use his celebrity status to silence him.
- 36:19Speaker 1: The lawsuit allegis fraud, manipulation of the system of the
- 36:22Speaker 1: legal system, and a pattern of intimidation, all claims that
- 36:26Speaker 1: jay Z's legal team have repeatedly denied. Jay Z's legal
- 36:29Speaker 1: team called this lawsuit a quote decades long harassment campaign.
- 36:33Speaker 1: And I kind of know your sentiment right now, Steve.
- 36:37Speaker 1: But if you were jay Z, would you take the
- 36:39Speaker 1: paternity test? Just to settle this.
- 36:42Speaker 2: All I need to do is sue a picture. I
- 36:45Speaker 2: can tell you right away. I just need to see
- 36:48Speaker 2: a picture. I just want what.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah, thirty one thirty.
- 36:55Speaker 14: If there was a young man out there who was
- 36:57Speaker 14: ball headed, who had a mustag and kind of favored
- 37:01Speaker 14: you and was from Cleveland, say you was his daddy.
- 37:04Speaker 2: And he thirty one years old? Yeah, you missed all
- 37:08Speaker 2: that child support home? But where's your mom?
- 37:16Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show?
- 37:18Speaker 10: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away

- 37:51Speaker 6: with a great deal only during the Hondai Getaway Sale event.
- 37:54Speaker 6: Visit Hyundai USA dot com for details.
- 37:57Speaker 1: So this is really good news for summer travelers. If
- 38:00Speaker 1: you're traveling this summer, almost after two decades, okay, after
- 38:06Speaker 1: almost two decades, you can finally go through TSA security
- 38:09Speaker 1: checkpoints at the airport without taking your shoes off. What
- 38:14Speaker 1: a relief. The TSA, the Transportation Security Administration, send an
- 38:19Speaker 1: memo to its staff nationwide to mandate that passengers who
- 38:22Speaker 1: have a real ID, we'll be able to go through
- 38:25Speaker 1: security detectors with footwear on. People that are traveling without
- 38:29Speaker 1: a real ID will still have to take the shoes off.
- 38:34Speaker 1: To take your shoes off. Rule was first instituted back
- 38:37Speaker 1: in two thousand and six. After a passenger you don't
- 38:40Speaker 1: have a real ID? What they talk though, Well, you know,
- 38:44Speaker 1: you got to have a driver's license, a passport. It's
- 38:48Speaker 1: a specific think a require.
- 38:51Speaker 14: Now, Yeah, it has to have a star or something
- 38:54Speaker 14: like that on the driver's license. Right, So that's the
- 38:58Speaker 14: type of ID that they're accepting now, or passport.
- 39:01Speaker 2: And all that.
- 39:02Speaker 14: So they wanted to be a real ID and then
- 39:05Speaker 14: you go through and so now they're saying, shoes.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Off, This is a great, This is great.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Why do you say that because some feet we don't
- 39:16Speaker 1: need to see.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Out in the public. It's some feet out here.
- 39:20Speaker 8: It's some feet out here and you're going through security. Wait,
- 39:28Speaker 8: that toe had shrapnel on it.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I know, graz where's you're in, junior? Will you let
- 39:37Speaker 2: us know when you go somewhere?
- 39:44Speaker 1: Well to taking shoes off rule, as I was saying,
- 39:46Speaker 1: was first instituted in two thousand and six after a
- 39:48Speaker 1: passenger tried to light a bomb in his shoes on
- 39:51Speaker 1: a flight from Paris to Miami. Previously, only individuals enrolled
- 39:56Speaker 1: in t s A pre check were allowed to keep
- 39:59Speaker 1: their shoes on during screening. So let's hope this helps
- 40:02Speaker 1: people get through the security more quickly. And Steve, do
- 40:07Speaker 1: you go through T s A and you know, take
- 40:09Speaker 1: your shoes off before you board a plane? I know
- 40:11Speaker 1: you fright privately? Fly privately? Did I say fry fly privately?
- 40:17Speaker 1: But sometimes well.
- 40:18Speaker 2: There are still places that you have to take your
- 40:21Speaker 2: shoes off. They don't care. But like if you have
- 40:25Speaker 2: Global entry, yeah you don't have to do that.
- 40:28Speaker 14: Mm hmm, come on, Stunner, let's go jor.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Global Entry is a card that you have to apply
- 40:37Speaker 2: for and go through an interview process and then they
- 40:40Speaker 2: give you and then so you don't have to like,
- 40:42Speaker 2: take your computer out the bag. You don't have to
- 40:45Speaker 2: take your shoes off, just walk through the thing. But
- 40:49Speaker 2: you know you ain't have to worry about that if
- 40:51Speaker 2: you don't go nowhere. Yeah, you know you get to
- 40:56Speaker 2: leave your hat on.
- 40:59Speaker 1: That's what we're going with this. This story was about
- 41:02Speaker 1: we take his shoes off. Yeah, all right, thank you
- 41:07Speaker 1: guys coming up at thirty four minutes actually the hour
- 41:10Speaker 1: since your hotel is in the building.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I mean, you know that's I'm gonna take your head off.
- 41:14Speaker 2: As somebody t say, go oh, that would beat you.
- 41:19Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show, ladies and gentlemen, as promised, she.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Weir, the world is all fire.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You know who it is.
- 41:33Speaker 2: It'll be too late. Get yourself together before the burning date.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Knowing that he is coming.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Y'allta get busy running, all right, knowing.
- 41:53Speaker 3: That the end is Neil.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Well, they ain't got it, ain't already here off.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Five Good morning, sister.
- 42:08Speaker 3: It was.
- 42:11Speaker 2: How everybody just coming off vacation. How you like my
- 42:14Speaker 2: vacation glasses?
- 42:17Speaker 3: Yeah? Nice?
- 42:19Speaker 1: They look expensive. Yes, Steve te had them. Oh oh
- 42:24Speaker 1: and he gave them to you.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Now you just let me wear him for the signa.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Oh okay, well, I wanted to ask you, since Jodell,
- 42:34Speaker 1: how was your fourth we're all coming out from the fourth.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Did you celebrate brutal people?

- 42:44Speaker 1: Yeah, go deep with.
- 42:47Speaker 2: So Now, I didn't celebrate the folk. But I did
- 42:49Speaker 2: take day off and was witnesses. Oh okay, I was
- 42:54Speaker 2: down there. I went to the all. They had a
- 42:57Speaker 2: reunion of the January sixth riot. They got together, both
- 43:03Speaker 2: keepers and all of them. I went to they rally.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Well you went there? Were you invited or no?
- 43:10Speaker 2: I just want to give them some advice, that's all.
- 43:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Would you tell them, well, you know, white folks, you know,
- 43:18Speaker 2: if you're gonna ride, you need to talk to black
- 43:22Speaker 2: people before you go riding. Because what you need to
- 43:25Speaker 2: understand is see, rioting is a night time activity. You
- 43:29Speaker 2: don't do it in the day. That's why so many
- 43:32Speaker 2: of them got identified and rested. They arrested more white
- 43:35Speaker 2: people on January six because they can see them. You say,
- 43:38Speaker 2: you're on the wall, we see you. Well, they to
- 43:44Speaker 2: let them know, you know, to start moving their activities tonight.
- 43:47Speaker 2: White folks think they just know every thing. Couldn't tell
- 43:51Speaker 2: them nothing, you know, Donnie Donnie Trump's the president, so
- 43:55Speaker 2: now they all happy and everything. Yeah, okay, see how
- 43:59Speaker 2: happen till when you ain't got no healthcare benefits?
- 44:05Speaker 1: Beautiful boy? Well did you did you happen to make
- 44:09Speaker 1: it down to New Orleans for the Essences?
- 44:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 44:12Speaker 2: I went down there. It wasn't the same this year.
- 44:14Speaker 1: You know.
- 44:14Speaker 2: It wasn't Holly, wasn't hardly crowded like it normally is.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Yeah, the crowd has fallen off a bit.
- 44:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I want to see babyface because I
- 44:25Speaker 2: love me some babyface. Oh yeah, by your clothes, pay
- 44:33Speaker 2: your rent. I'll cook your dinner tonight, baby, as soon
- 44:40Speaker 2: as I get home from work. Well, if you say
- 44:43Speaker 2: that to me, we finna get married. I'm just tell
- 44:46Speaker 2: you that right now.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:53Speaker 2: So I was out there and then you know they
- 44:55Speaker 2: had a little nasty little girl on the show with him.
- 44:59Speaker 1: All oh, gorilla, glotrilla.
- 45:06Speaker 14: Yeah you're saying gel.
- 45:11Speaker 2: I said, Lord, he miss just po child. Just country
- 45:14Speaker 2: is a bucket of coin. I was just pretty little girl,
- 45:18Speaker 2: just as pretty as she wanted to be. Couldn't understand
- 45:20Speaker 2: of what she was saying, just be running her mouth.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I said that she missed out on some whippings. All
- 45:27Speaker 2: I could say, that's what you.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Got out of that. Well, before we run out of times,
- 45:34Speaker 1: to sir Dela, I did want to ask you about
- 45:36Speaker 1: the verdict and the Diddy trial. I know you heard
- 45:38Speaker 1: about that too.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Girl.
- 45:41Speaker 2: That's for a whole nother time. We ain't got enough
- 45:43Speaker 2: time to tell you all the stuff I know.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Oh see if you have an opinion on it? Uh huh.
- 45:50Speaker 2: I was at my first or freak. O was satch
- 45:54Speaker 2: A page?
- 45:55Speaker 16: Oh Mark, okay, yeah, looking for that to me, continued
- 46:05Speaker 16: coming up next, Satcha, you saw some pod.
- 46:11Speaker 1: The Nephew and Today's Prank Phone Call right after this.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Thank you, sister Odell. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 46:19Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 46:26Speaker 1: About four minutes after the hour, it's my Strawberry letter
- 46:29Speaker 1: for today and the subject is I'm stuck between a
- 46:33Speaker 1: sister and a brother. Wow, we'll get into that, find
- 46:37Speaker 1: out what that's all about. And just a few because
- 46:39Speaker 1: right now it is time for the Nephew and Today's
- 46:42Speaker 1: Prank Phone Call. Nephew you're up. What you got for.
- 46:45Speaker 6: Us, Shirlie? I have love et cetera, love, etc.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Okay, what's that about?
- 46:53Speaker 6: You know, call this man up, you know, and tell
- 46:55Speaker 6: him that his wife is taking these love classes. You know,
- 46:58Speaker 6: she come in and you know, I kind of teach
- 47:01Speaker 6: her different things about love and yeah, yeah, yeah, love
- 47:04Speaker 6: et cetera.
- 47:05Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, I don't mind go.
- 47:11Speaker 6: Calling nobody husband and getting them ribbed up. I don't
- 47:15Speaker 6: have a thank I don't care about his feelings. I
- 47:20Speaker 6: don't care. I want to get up under your skin
- 47:23Speaker 6: and I will call you about your wife. I will
- 47:25Speaker 6: call you about your kids, because I know that that
- 47:28Speaker 6: those are buttons and when I push them, you're gonna
- 47:31Speaker 6: lose your mind.
- 47:31Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, love et cetera.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 47:38Speaker 7: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach out Kayla.
- 47:41Speaker 12: Oh no, she's here right now. Who's speaking?
- 47:44Speaker 7: This is doctor Elbert. Listen. I was giving a call.
- 47:46Speaker 7: Are you able to leave a message for it for me? Yeah? Yeah, okay?
- 47:49Speaker 7: Would you let her know her sessions will be on
- 47:51Speaker 7: Wednesdays at seven thirty sessions.
- 47:54Speaker 12: What sess are you talking about?
- 47:56Speaker 7: Sessions? Well? Actually, she signed up for class uh an
- 47:59Speaker 7: eight week class sentence every Wednesday night at seven point thirty.
- 48:02Speaker 12: Okay, what classes are you talking about? What kind of class?
- 48:06Speaker 7: This is? Love et cetera? Have you heard of us? No? Okay,
- 48:09Speaker 7: well let me kind of give you a little briefing here.
- 48:12Speaker 7: Caitlyn actually came in and filled out to take some
- 48:14Speaker 7: classes and we're love etcetera. So we teach different things.
- 48:19Speaker 12: What is it like a seminar or something.
- 48:21Speaker 7: Well, we teach poor play, intimacy, sensual massages and things
- 48:26Speaker 7: like that. And she I was actually here when she
- 48:29Speaker 7: came and filled out the paperwork. She said she wanted
- 48:31Speaker 7: to screws up her love life with her husband. Are
- 48:34Speaker 7: you her husband?
- 48:35Speaker 12: Yeah? Yeah, I'm a husband. But what I'm saying is
- 48:38Speaker 12: is it like like a joint thing? Am I supposed
- 48:40Speaker 12: to be there or something?
- 48:41Speaker 11: No?
- 48:41Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, this is actually her wanting to actually,
- 48:43Speaker 7: if you don't know about it, I'm assuming she wants
- 48:47Speaker 7: to surprise you and show you some different things when
- 48:50Speaker 7: she finishes her sessions.
- 48:52Speaker 12: So when did when did she come in? Like she
- 48:55Speaker 12: came in? Where are y'all located? First of all?
- 48:57Speaker 7: Okay, well, she actually came in a couple of weeks ago,
- 49:00Speaker 7: and she filled out the paperwork. We're in the downtown area.
- 49:03Speaker 7: She filled it out. She said she was very excited.
- 49:05Speaker 7: She wanted to do some different things for her husband.
- 49:07Speaker 7: We just asked her she gets here a little earlier,
- 49:09Speaker 7: probably fifteen minutes earlier, so she can shower and put
- 49:12Speaker 7: a robe on, and then we can we can start class.
- 49:14Speaker 12: Whoa whoa, whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa shower, shower
- 49:18Speaker 12: and rolls. What's that? What's that for?
- 49:20Speaker 7: I mean, you're not you're not upset about this, are you?
- 49:22Speaker 10: Now?
- 49:22Speaker 12: I mean, I ain't got no problem with you know us,
- 49:24Speaker 12: we mean we know. I mean we married couple, you
- 49:26Speaker 12: know what I mean? So you know anything the sprikees
- 49:27Speaker 12: the spice of the marriage. But you know, as far
- 49:30Speaker 12: as me not being involved in her going out to
- 49:32Speaker 12: bar so and you're talking about taking the bath and
- 49:34Speaker 12: robe and all this other stuff. Man, she don't need
- 49:36Speaker 12: to be there for no for no mess like that.
- 49:38Speaker 7: Man. Well, no, no, sir, it's nothing like that. I mean,
- 49:41Speaker 7: it's it's it's basically a class where people get in
- 49:44Speaker 7: touch with her with their sensitive side and you get
- 49:46Speaker 7: to actually, you know, you learn about four play, what
- 49:49Speaker 7: what takes.
- 49:50Speaker 12: You're talking about eight weeks though, eight weeks, eight weeks
- 49:53Speaker 12: like that, you must say, y'all even eight weeks.
- 49:58Speaker 7: It's only one night a week, it's only on Wednesday,
- 50:00Speaker 7: So really you only have eight sessions. Eight sessions exactly.
- 50:04Speaker 12: Okay, So why why did she have to have a
- 50:06Speaker 12: role though, I mean, why's he not? Why she does
- 50:08Speaker 12: not showing up at the work or whatever.
- 50:09Speaker 7: Well, you have to bring your rope, sir. Everyone showers
- 50:12Speaker 7: and then they put their robe on and we we
- 50:14Speaker 7: actually coached them through. Here's how four play goes. Here's
- 50:17Speaker 7: the intimacy, here's sensual massaging.
- 50:20Speaker 12: No no, no, no, fan you get you're getting it twisday.
- 50:23Speaker 12: What I'm asking you is you you you're really not
- 50:26Speaker 12: explaining yourself with enough like what do y'all do? Like
- 50:29Speaker 12: I say, the class like a classroom said. If I'm
- 50:31Speaker 12: in the class, I'm taking a class. There's nobody touching me,
- 50:35Speaker 12: ain't no, ain't no cold coming off, ain't nobody taking
- 50:37Speaker 12: no group showers, carrying on? What you got you sad?
- 50:40Speaker 7: Like? What's both? Nothing? Nothing like that at all. But
- 50:44Speaker 7: we do come in contact with our sensual side. Now
- 50:48Speaker 7: we'll have a partner in class she'll deal with that
- 50:51Speaker 7: one partner. It's not until the fourth session that we
- 50:54Speaker 7: really get into some strong physical context.
- 50:57Speaker 12: What are you talking about? What are you talking about?
- 51:00Speaker 12: You're talking about a partner like you're talking about another woman,
- 51:02Speaker 12: Like tell my teammate or something. What you're talking about?
- 51:04Speaker 12: You call out another dude?
- 51:05Speaker 7: Everyone has the opposite sex partner.
- 51:07Speaker 12: Then you got to be out your mind, sir. I
- 51:09Speaker 12: don't even you call why you even? Why are you
- 51:11Speaker 12: even calling me with this right here?
- 51:12Speaker 7: And if you have to understand, I'm I wasn't calling you.
- 51:16Speaker 7: I was trying to reach miss Kaylen.
- 51:18Speaker 12: I don't care who are you trying to reach?
- 51:19Speaker 2: Man?
- 51:19Speaker 12: You calling my house talking about my wife on some
- 51:23Speaker 12: robe and some partners and they don't get physical to
- 51:25Speaker 12: the fourth session of carrying, ain't gonna be no physical
- 51:27Speaker 12: at all, sir.
- 51:28Speaker 7: Basically, your wife is trying to surprise you with a
- 51:30Speaker 7: good thing.
- 51:31Speaker 12: No no, no, no, no, hold on you just hold on.
- 51:33Speaker 12: I'm gonna get this straightened out real quick.
- 51:35Speaker 7: Hold on, wait wait, wait, wait, what are you what
- 51:36Speaker 7: are you doing?
- 51:37Speaker 12: I'm calling my wife, That's what I'm not out saying.
- 51:39Speaker 7: Okay, what you don't understand, She's trying to. It's not
- 51:41Speaker 7: good for you to call. She wants to surprise you
- 51:43Speaker 7: my wife.
- 51:43Speaker 12: You let me hand on my wife the way I
- 51:45Speaker 12: want to handle it. You hold on, hold on this Drew.
- 51:49Speaker 12: You called me back when you get this message. Called
- 51:51Speaker 12: me back at the house as soon.
- 51:52Speaker 7: As you get to serve Hello. Yeah, sir, she wants
- 51:56Speaker 7: to surprise you.
- 51:57Speaker 12: Well, we got surprised already, all right. The first of all,
- 52:00Speaker 12: she ain't gonna be coming down to y'all little sessions.
- 52:03Speaker 12: And where do y'all say, y'all do located that?
- 52:05Speaker 2: Again?
- 52:06Speaker 7: We love, etcetera? Is there in the downtown area?
- 52:08Speaker 12: How much this thing folds? The cost anyway?
- 52:10Speaker 7: Well, like I said, she signed up for eight sessions.
- 52:13Speaker 7: It's one session per week. It's one hundred dollars these sessions.
- 52:16Speaker 7: She's already played the eight hundred dollars, sir. She want
- 52:19Speaker 7: to sell you what she's paid in full to do
- 52:21Speaker 7: all eight sessions.
- 52:22Speaker 12: Man, I know what else. She ain't paying no eight
- 52:24Speaker 12: hundred dollars to y'all.
- 52:25Speaker 7: She's starting just coming winning.
- 52:26Speaker 12: She won't be there. I'm gonna tell you that right now.
- 52:28Speaker 12: And and if you if you got any of that money,
- 52:30Speaker 12: you got any of my money down there, you better
- 52:32Speaker 12: be coming back with it.
- 52:33Speaker 7: I'm I'm sorry.
- 52:35Speaker 12: Downtown, y'all downtown. I work downtown, so guess what I
- 52:38Speaker 12: will be there tomorrow to get my money.
- 52:41Speaker 7: You love, etcetera. Is non refundable when people sign up
- 52:44Speaker 7: for these class you can't change your mind like that.
- 52:46Speaker 12: Look, man, that's paperwork. Don't tell me about what's not refundable,
- 52:50Speaker 12: what's refundable, what's not refundable. It's not sure what. I'm
- 52:53Speaker 12: gonna have my money back right in miaim Chris?
- 52:56Speaker 7: Would it make you? Would you feel a little bit

- 56:40Speaker 8: All right, ladies and gentlemen, the time for the Strawberry
- 56:42Speaker 8: letter with my good friend Shirley Straup Barrett.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Junior, Thank you subject. I'm stuck between a sister and
- 56:49Speaker 1: a brother. Dear Stephen Shirley. For the past year, I
- 56:53Speaker 1: have been sleeping with my best friend's little sister. When
- 56:56Speaker 1: I went to college, I lost all contact with her
- 56:59Speaker 1: until we reconnected last year at her brother's Fourth of
- 57:02Speaker 1: July party. I hadn't seen this woman since she was
- 57:05Speaker 1: a young girl. And my, oh my god, aged, my
- 57:09Speaker 1: own mind, god, she oh my, oh my god, oh
- 57:13Speaker 1: I get it. My, oh my god, she's aged like fine.
- 57:16Speaker 3: One.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Yes, Steve, Sorry, you won't start over because I don't
- 57:20Speaker 2: know who you If you're talking about the Lord, I
- 57:23Speaker 2: don't know.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Now, just figure that one out.
- 57:26Speaker 2: God, oh God, it was God and my.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's what he's trying to say. But
- 57:33Speaker 1: I'll start over, all right, Dear Stephen Shirley. For the
- 57:36Speaker 1: past year, I've been sleeping with my best friend's little sister.
- 57:39Speaker 1: When I went to college, I lost all contact with
- 57:42Speaker 1: her until we reconnected last year at her brother's Fourth
- 57:45Speaker 1: of July party. I hadn't seen this woman since she
- 57:48Speaker 1: was a young girl, and my, oh my god, she's
- 57:52Speaker 1: aged like fine. Wine. Okay, I'm fourteen years older than her,
- 57:57Speaker 1: but we're all grown now. The Lord took his time
- 58:00Speaker 1: with that body. That evening, we caught up, had a
- 58:03Speaker 1: few drinks, shared some laughs, and as the night progressed,
- 58:07Speaker 1: we ended up in her brother's coat closet. This woman
- 58:11Speaker 1: did things to me that I'd never had done to me.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Since then, we have become increasingly close and we've talked
- 58:19Speaker 1: about taking it to the next step. She has said
- 58:24Speaker 1: it's of utmost importance that we go about this the
- 58:27Speaker 1: right way and tell her brother about us. The problem
- 58:30Speaker 1: is her brother is a six to sixth bodybuilder that
- 58:34Speaker 1: is very protective of his sister, and he's a hot head.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Because of his size, he's always ready for a confrontation
- 58:42Speaker 1: over the smallest stuff. I have personally never had a
- 58:46Speaker 1: disagreement with him in all of the years we've been friends,
- 58:49Speaker 1: so I'm skeptical on telling him face to face. I
- 58:53Speaker 1: don't want to clash with him, but I really love
- 58:56Speaker 1: his sister, and it's been almost a year. The sneaking
- 58:59Speaker 1: around is getting old, and I hope he can process
- 59:02Speaker 1: the information in a mature manner to put things in perspective.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Her brother and I are in our mid forties and
- 59:08Speaker 1: we have been friends since the eighth grade. I never
- 59:10Speaker 1: had these kinds of feelings for his sister when we
- 59:13Speaker 1: were young, So I need to be clear about that
- 59:15Speaker 1: up front. How should this go? Should we do it
- 59:17Speaker 1: together or should I talk to her brother alone first?
- 59:20Speaker 1: Please advise? All right, So my answer is going to
- 59:23Speaker 1: be sure because I don't really see a major problem here.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Are you really afraid of her brother? I mean, someone
- 59:31Speaker 1: you've been friends with since the eighth grade? That should
- 59:34Speaker 1: be all the more reason for you to tell him
- 59:36Speaker 1: straight up you love his sister. I know it's his sister,
- 59:40Speaker 1: but you guys are no longer in elementary in high school,
- 59:43Speaker 1: and his sister's a grown woman now. She's freedom to
- 59:47Speaker 1: come and go and date and love whoever she pleases,
- 59:51Speaker 1: even if it's you. Do you have a reputation of
- 59:54Speaker 1: being like a bad boy or a player or something?
- 59:57Speaker 1: Or does he have a rip for putting his hands
- 59:59Speaker 1: on all the the guys that his sister dates, Because
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: if not, you know, put your big, big boy pants on.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Go tell him what's up. Just go tell him. I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: think she will respect and love you more if you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: man up and just go by yourself and don't bring
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: her one question. Though. I get that he's sixty six,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: he's a big guy. He likes to fight and all that.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: You said that, but what is your size? You did
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: not bring that out in the letter. You said he
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: likes to confront thing, confront people over the smallest stuff.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: So what is your size? You failed to mention that?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Is that why you're so scared to tell him. I
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: just say look at it this way. The sooner you
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: tell him, the happier shield be because you did what
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you wanted her to do. Okay, you're a little guy.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Steve Shirley read this letter as a woman. I'm gonna
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: read this letter as a man, and so you can
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: understand why this man wrote this letter. Okay, for the
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: past year, I'll been sleeping with my best friend's little
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: sister right there, right there, y'all already know you out
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: of line. You already know you all already know how
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: we are because we know each other. If these dudes
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: have been best friends, then they know each other. So
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: now what you doing with my little sister? After I
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: know all this about you. That's the first problem we're
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: dealing with. Then, he said, when I went to college.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: I lost all contact with her because we reconnected last
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: year her brother's fourth to July party. I ain't seen
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: this woman since she was a young girl. Oh my god,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: she then age like fine wine, I'm fourteen years older
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: than her, but we all grown now. The Lord took
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: his time with that body. That evening. We caught up.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Here we go, Steph got real, Jenkie got caught up,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: had a few drinks, shared some laughs. Night progress. We
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: ended up in her brother's coat closet. Okay, all right, now,
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: I'm gonna strongly suggest that when you do talk to him,
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: you definitely got to lead that out, sad. See see
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: the reason he wrote this letter, Shirley, because as a man,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: he know, I'm dealing with my best friend who who
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: and I been running dirt and running women together. Now
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: the way behind his back and got his little sister,
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: and I got him at the fourth of July party,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: had him in his coat closet. He see, he can't
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: tell none of this. He should. Yeah, the woman did
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: things to me that I never had done to me before.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Gonna probably need to lead that part out too, see Sherley,
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: That's why he nervous, because he got all this information,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: and then we come back. I'll tell you rust Okay.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve. We'll have part two of
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Steve's response too. I'm stuck between a sister and a brother.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: That is the subject of today's Strawberry Letter. Right after this,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away

- 1:04:00Speaker 2: struck between his sister and brother. They been best friends.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: He ain't seen him since college. He go back to
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: his friends Fourth of July party and his young sister
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: is there. And now she got a banging body and
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: all that they didn't have some drinks and some laughs.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: They wind up in the closet together. Now two things.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: It's your best friends little sister, you know, and you
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: had her in the clauset, his closet at his house,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: and then she did some things to you you ain't
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: never had done before. You got to leave all this
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: information out. I don't know why you wrote it in
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: the bloody I hope you hear this letter. Now we've
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: become increasingly close, and we talked about taking it to
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: the next step. She said, it's utmost important that we
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: go about this the right way and tell her brother
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: about us. Now. The problem is her brother six six
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: bodybuilder that is very protective of as his sister. And
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: he's a hot head. Okay, so now right here, you scared, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: and Charlie and Charlie ain't no, Are you scared? He's scared. Yes,
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: he's scared, and I'm gonna tell you why in a minute.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Because of its size. He's always ready for a confrontation
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: over the smallest stuff. Well this ain't small though. See,
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: you done got behind his back. He gonna say, you
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: snuck behind his back and you got his little sister
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: that's what you fitting to deal with. Now. Hold up,
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: I personally never had to disagree with him in all
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: these years, and we've been friends. So I'm skeptical of
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: telling him face to face because I don't want to
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: clash with him, or ain't to clash You wear it about.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: It's that swipping.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You in, ain't.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: It ain't got nothing to do with the clash, homie.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: What does it have to do with Steve?
- 1:06:09Speaker 17: It's that whipping you scared to take it? Keyword clash,
- 1:06:20Speaker 17: That's all it is.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: But I really love his sister. And it's been almost
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: a year and the sneaking around is getting old, and
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: I hope he can process the information in a mature manner.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: He ain't.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: He can't. He's six six here bodybuilding? What bodybuilding? You
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: know other than Lee Hainey know how to process information
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: in a sensible fashion. He the only nice bodybuilder I
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: ever met. All the rest of them jack do want
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: steroids which affects their mental capacity at all times. And
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: hell yeah they hot heads because they got steroids in that.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Oh okay, he fail to.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Kick your behind dog, He had moved swag. He feel
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: to be your behind you already notice to put things
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: in perspective. Her brother and I are in our mid
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: forties and we have been friends since the eighth grade.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: You already know you're getting your wool now, see you already? Yeah,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: you done seen him jump on a lot of people.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: That's why you're scared.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Now, I never had these kind of feelings for his
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: sister when we were young, So I need to be
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: clear about that up front. How should this go? Well,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: I know how it should go, but now you know
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: how it's gonna go, and that's what you're scared about.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: So now should we do it together? That's another scary statement. See,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: you need protection. That ain't how you do it. You
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: got a man up dog and going over there and
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: handle this yourself. You gonta to take this woman like
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: a man. Now there's a chance he gonna suck a
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: punch you. Yeah. Should we do it together? Or should
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I talk to her brother alone? First? Please? You gotta
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: go to her brother Alan. He said, Hey, man, I
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: don't want to talk to you with nobody in this
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: room but us, because we men. See if you take
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: the girl in there and he's looking at his little sister,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: he's gonna knock you out for sure he going Now.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Is he a little guy though? You think?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: No, he ain't no little guy. He just ain't six
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: six and nobody building. Yeah, you know he might be
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: you know, five ten, you know something like that. Look
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: little man like Tommy or something. He probably little. He
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: probably thom side Tomy dude, Yeah, Thomas or Jay size.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Whatever you want to do, you can get to throw
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Jay Ones in there. Tom, I'm bigger than Tommy. Now,
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: oh now you want to be bigger than Tommy? What
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: happened to team Tom? Yeah? Now you know your friend
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: little well, well you know Okay, So what I'm telling
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: you is you gotta go in there and you gotta say,
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: hey man, this is what. Let me talk to you
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: about something. Look, man, I want you to handle this
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: the wrong way, but me and you we got to

- 1:09:08Speaker 2: I've been I've been talking to your sister and we've
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: been talking for a while now. The first thing he
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: gonna say is the hell you mean talking been talking about? What?
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Talking about? What?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Talking about?
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: What?
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Which I've been talking about? Well, we've been talking about,
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: you know, being together, being together? Like how in what way?
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Being together?
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: What do you mean like being together, like going to
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: the store and coming back to that now manna, man
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: like we got feelings for each other.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: We got to sign out.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Yeah, right there, that's where you're probably gonna get put out,

- 1:09:48Speaker 2: and you'll be fine. I've been knocked out before. You

- 1:10:30Speaker 1: would hit just right with my morning coffee. And there's
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: nothing like that rush of making it to McDonald's in
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: time for breakfast. Swing by and make your morning at

- 1:10:52Speaker 8: with these women's boxing the matches this weekend.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Did anybody get to see this? Uh uh gosh? On Netflix?
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: It had a man the Serrano versus Katie Taylor three
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: and Katie Taylor swept this whole trilogy.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: But these women be hit.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: I'm telling you, I'm a fan of these women's boxes.
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: I didn't know everybody, but when I saw him, they fight.
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: Now got another young girl out here. Her name is
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: Alicia Bumgarden and she beat Jennifer Madison, and I'm telling
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: you it was brutal, but I'm telling you it's punishing.
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: But then after that, now.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: This is way. I don't know how this going women's boxes.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: But she started calling out all of the other boxes
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: and who could all get this smoke? She went down
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: the list from a man of Serrando to Katie Taylor.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: Then she said Clarissa Shields.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: I said, oh.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Wait a minute, whoa.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Wait, whoa right now? Whoa whoa whoa? I didn't seen
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: me and she can whip starting with me. The first
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: I've looked at Clarissa Shields closely and realized don't need
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: to be in there taking that type of what for
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: no amount of money?
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: None.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: And you know there's another one.
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: They're trying to get Clarissa Shields and Layla Lee to fight.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: He wi't anybody see that? Yeah about it, Laila.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you something though. I think me personal
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: too long. I think she been out too long, and
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: I think the age age catches that howl. Is Laylor
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: now forty seven? Forty oh yeah yeah, yeah, no, no, no, no,
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: no no.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: She retired in two thousand and seven.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Yeah, don't don't go out there messing with that young girl.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Clarissa Shields is really her. She is really her. Uh
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: she huh, she is really huh girl. And and Leila
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: Lee and her prime would have given her more than
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: enough meat to chew own. But at forty seven, you're
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: not in your prime no more.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: She said, fifteen to twenty million. She might think about it,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: though she did.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: How much?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Fifteen twenty million millions? I think that's what he said.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: I fight twenty million. I'll fight Roy.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Jones Junior what right now, today, right now.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Right now, twenty million me or Roy? Get up in there, man, Now,
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: that ain't gonna be loan.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: You must have forgot.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: No, it ain't. Wait a minute, Okay, I ain't forgot
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: I already No, I ain't. I ain't got nothing falling.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: I have nothing.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna be able to hit Roy. I
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: already know that. I already know that. You got him, though,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Make him lad, just make him lave and keep him
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: all for you super power. Yeah. If Mike Tyson fight
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: me like he fought Jake Paul, Yeah, I get in
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: there for fifty which is pulling and everything.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: But you have that thong on though. That's what I
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: want to know.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: For fifty million dollars here, y'all put a phone on.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: All your out, all right? Coming up at the top
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: of the hour. After dating for two years, a woman
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: gave her a man an ultimatum and he left. She
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: needs some advice. We'll get into it right after that. Steve,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: you are crazy. You're to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: So, Steve, this is from so lel in Jacksonville. So
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Leil says, I gave a man an ultimatum. And he bounced.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: We have been dating for two years and we're both
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: in our mid forties. I want it more, and it
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: was obvious he didn't. He told my mom that he
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: wanted to do things on his time without any pressure.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: My mom sided with him and told me I'm always
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: doing too much. Was I wrong for pressuring him?
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: Well? No, but it could be the way you did it.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: It could be the way you're like you. Every woman,
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: like I've always said, has the right to know where
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: their life is going, has the right to have a
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: sayso in it, and has the right to understand what
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: your plan is. Okay, So if you want to do
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: it in your timing, okay, tell me what your timing is,
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: tell me what you're basing it on. You know, you
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: just can't have me sitting over here not knowing anything
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: about the direction. So yeah, it could have just been
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: in the approach, So a better way to do it
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: and say, Hey, look, I just want to talk to you. Listen,
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: I love you, I really care about you. We've been
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: together two years, is we've had our issues, but for
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: real though, I think it's nothing we haven't been able
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: to work through. I just find you to be such
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: a great, incredible partner, and I would love to continue
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: this relationship. How do you see this working? How do
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: you want us to move forward? And let the God
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: tell you? I thinking about a year after I get
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: myself together a little bit more straight financially, I'm able
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: to buy a ring and I'm going to ask you
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: to marry me. Then that gives a woman something to
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: hang on to. But Steve, hey, listen, I want to
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: get married, and I want to know if we get
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: married now, and if you're not gonna marry me, then
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: I want this to be over with because I ain't
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: gonna waste my time and you ain't gonna waste my time. Now.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: When he hear that all he is that that right there,
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: he hears something about a man. He is you gonna
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: do what I want to do or else when I want?
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: And when? When signing up for that?
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Okay, and her mom agrees with her guy of two
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: years he's a good man.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: She may be right. Maybe she did too much. She
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: could have just approached it the wrong way. Because if
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: the man go to the mom and go, hey, look,
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: I just want to do this in my time. See
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: what you cannot do to a man is my time
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: or no time. Now, what you can say is, hey, listen,
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: if I'm not the one you want, if I'm not
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: to desire your heart, if you don't see spending the
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: rest of your life with me, if I'm not what
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: you want, I would love for you to tell me
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: that now and allow me to make a decision. But
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: if I'm not who you want, I would appreciate you
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: telling me that now. That leaves a man a little softer,
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: because sometimes you got to hear what the delay is
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: in a man because a lot of times I'm ninety
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: percent of the time it's got something to do with finances. Yeah,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: it's something to do with finances and his ability to
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: feel that he can provide security and protection for you.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Yeah, she's feeling like after two years. Yeah, all right.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: This is from Bobby and the DMV. Bobby says, my
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: wife had a nicer house when we got married, so
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I moved in with her. Her grown children are upset
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: that I'm on the deed now and they think I'm
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: trying to take what's theirs. I'm getting tired of them
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: bringing it up to my wife and stressing her out,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: so I told her I would talk to them. She said,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: they're her kids, and you deal with it. Am I
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: in a bad situation that will only get worse. How
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: do I handle this?
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Wow? Well, it all depends on how you feel about
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: your name being on the deed. Did you sell your
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: house so y'all could move in together or do you
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: still have your house now? If you sold your house
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: to move in and y'all became one, then yeah, man,
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: your name should go on the deed. If y'all marry.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: I don't give it by they feel. You know what,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: You don't marry her kids. You married a woman. All
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: these little entitled kids sitting around that ain't ever bought
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: a house of they own or did nothing on their own,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: and just sitting over there with a sense of entitlement.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: I don't give it by you feel about me? All Right,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: we gotta start saying that more often though.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: All right, guys, thank you. Coming up at twenty minutes
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: after the hour, we will have more of the Steve
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but what if I been
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: telling you guys, it's beginning to look a lot like
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Christmas around here? And the Hallmark Channel agrees with me. Guys,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: they're at Christmas in July campaign. It's going all through
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the month of July. It may not be hot, it

- 1:19:19Speaker 1: all over the Hallmark Channel right now in the month

- 1:19:33Speaker 3: Oh?

- 1:19:39Speaker 14: this ain't nobody but Sheerla program in the Hallmark Channel.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: I called them listen. I can't watch them.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: I ain't never seen nobody just shot the Hallmark I
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: just watch when is first four? They eight having a
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Christmas in July? We do that.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I can't, no, but yeah, all, I mean there's so
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: they're just filled with all this love and romance and snow.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: It's good.

- 1:22:09Speaker 6: Yeah that that that that that roller coaster got about

- 1:22:13Speaker 16: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: See, I that's a hall one. Only thing about that
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: water slide that will save me is because when I
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: peel on myself, ain't nobody over shearing. I really can't
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: see myself coming down this giant water slide. I'm just
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: but I'm heading to what because now it's gonna throw
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: me into this pool of water and I got a
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: whole nother struggle when I get in.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: That that ro.
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Man, let me tell you something, Man, I've almost I've
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: had on roller coasters in my life. I've had several.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: I know, I know for a fact, I know I
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: know I had a stroke on one of them. I know,
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: but you stop, I know, I know, good in hell, well,
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: I had a heart attack on one.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Anyway, Just gods.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: Grace and Mercy.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: On vacation. Would you rather stand a five star villa
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: with no TV or a King suite with the TV.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: I want the villa, the villa with no TV.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Okay, with no TV.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Okay, it worked out, But I want the villain.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: King Sweet has a TV.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: I got a phone, got everything TV, got a computer,
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: got everything.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: You know. See, I have a good time, you know, umbrellas.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Oh, all right, we're not going to be in the
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: room much, is what you're saying.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: But you and your show gonna be interesting seeing that's

- 1:24:05Speaker 8: Yeah, But I've been to Japik now, I've been to

- 1:25:14Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our lads to break
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: of the day, and Carlo, before we get out of here,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: you had a question for Steve, right.
- 1:25:22Speaker 14: Yeah, how do you show up for yourself every day?
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: How do you do it? Well?
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: I might as well use that as my closing remarks
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: because that's gonna take some explaining. How do you show
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: up every day for yourself?
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: It kind of leads me to something I was sharing
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: with the young guy the other day. I was on
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: vacation and I was talking with him. Greatness is a practice.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: Discipline is a practice. I'm saying that to say that
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: those two things which I aspire to I aspire to
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: greatness in whatever I'm attempting to do. I do aspire
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: to that. I do aspire to be disciplined. And discipline
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: for me is doing what you have to do even
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: when you don't want to. And those two things right
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: there are probably the core behind how it is. I
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: show up every day. But you can train yourself to
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: be this way. You can train yourself to show up
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: every day because it's a practice. It becomes habit for me.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: You know, people, I was watching the Last Dance by
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: Michael Jordan, about Michael Jordan and the Bulls and all
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: this here, and so many people were critical of him.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: I don't like the way he acted. He was a book,
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: he was a tirant. Well, you ain't never tried to
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: be great at nothing? And see, I could relate to
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: the whole thing because I've aspired to become really really
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: good at things before. And if you've ever done that,
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: you're going to rub regular people the wrong way. And
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: when I say regular people, I'm talking about people who
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: have put theirselfs in a position in life where they're
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: comfortable and they don't like being forced to be uncomfortable.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: So when you come in with all these new Shenanigans,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: and we're gonna buckle down and we're gonna hustle up.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: You're gonna get pushed back from people who want to
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: remain comfortable, and you cannot grow that way. You just
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: cannot grow staying comfortable. Everything I've ever wanted in my
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: life was on the other side of uncomfortable, and you
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: got to go through the uncomfortable to get there. But
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: like I was telling you, greatness and discipline is a practice.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: It's very hard to find a person that's good at
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: just one thing and he ain't trying to be good
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: at everything else, because it's hard to turn it off
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: once you learn it, Once you learn the benefits of discipline,
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: once you learn the benefits of practicing to be great,
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: hard to turn it off. It's hard to turn it
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: off because you know the benefits of it, and so
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: I show up every day. But I've trained myself to
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: be this way, and you are if you're not that.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: First of all, let's take a couple of things out
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: the way. I trained myself to be a morning person
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: because that was a point early in my life. What
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: I did now a guy named John Walk out of Rochester,
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: New York, took that out of me, and I didn't
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: know at the time that I would we would all
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: be morning drive people for over twenty five years. I
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: never knew that, And thank God he took that out
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: of me. And thank God that God put John Walker
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: in my life in my past because God knew I
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: was gonna be on morning drive for all for twenty
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: five years. So I became a morning person. When you
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: hear a person say I'm not a morning person, watch out,
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: be very careful because morning is the gold. Ain't it
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: your goal to wake up tomorrow morning? So why would
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: you put that on yourself by saying I'm not a
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: morning person. You're gonna mess around and make your wish
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: come true one day. You ain't gonna be here one morning, tadda.
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: I would never put that on me. I'm not a
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: morning person, you know. You hear people all they tell him,
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: I just don't like I just don't like heat. Okay,
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: but what about when it's hot outside. I'm appreciative of
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: God of every single day I get. I don't care
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: if it's raining. I fish in the rain, you know what,
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: because I love fishing so much, and it rains a
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: lot of times in Georgia. I bought a rain suit
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: so I could fish while it was raining. See well
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: that rain. I don't like to sound to rain. It's
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: gonna rain, it's what you mean. I don't like heat.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: It's finn to be hot. It's called summer. I don't
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: like it cold outside. It's winter. It's finna be cold
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: every day in a row. Get yourself some jackets, some
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: sweaters and scarf, some gloves, some hats, and get out
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: there and get on with your day. And I'm that
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: way because I've practiced being that way. I'm so grateful
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: for every he gives me that I don't care what
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: the day got in it. I've even grown to be
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: comfortable with my problems. When I get a challenge put
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: in front of me, I know it's God trying to
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: show me something, so I deal with it. It's like
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: Junior ask me every day, how do you just deal
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: with stuff you've never dealt with before?
- 1:31:04Speaker 12: What?
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: I get up and I go through it, and then
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: I put that over in experienced power because now if
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: that ever happens again, I've now done it and now
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: I know how to get through it. So see everything
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: that happens to you as a benefit. Stop looking at
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: your life is Oh woe is me? No man, Oh
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: glory is me. The fact that you made it through
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: every rough day you've ever had in your life. Don't
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: you see that it was God bringing you through, teaching
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: you stuff.
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: Come on, start practicing greatness, start practicing discipline. You can
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: train yourself to be that. It's up to you. The
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Bible says a man is as he thinkth get to
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: thinking different, and you'll get to be in different Those
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: are my clothes, reus. I didn't like that? Was well,
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: try it again and there have a great come.
