Pella Band Heads to D.C. for Historic Parade | Sioux City News
The Pella High School Marching Dutch are headed to Washington D.C. for the America 250 Parade — a once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform on the nation’s biggest Fourth of July stage. Over 200 students, staff, and chaperones are on a 20-hour bus ride, bringing brand-new uniforms funded by $80,000 in community donations and three brand-new songs. Beyond the parade, they’ll experience fireworks, visit historic landmarks, and honor fallen heroes at Arlington Cemetery.
