- 1:24Speaker 1: My next guess is the owner of Sassy Jones boutique.
- 1:28Speaker 1: She's on the phone. Sassy Jones has grown from a
- 1:31Speaker 1: six figure brand to a multimillion dollar brie. I probably
- 1:34Speaker 1: borrow some money from her multi in two years, she's
- 1:37Speaker 1: a multimillion dollar brand. Come on now, she knows she's
- 1:39Speaker 1: passing that some money, but all her relatives of trying
- 1:42Speaker 1: to find her on a regular braation, she's one of
- 1:44Speaker 1: the lot of They think she's so rich. Boy can
- 1:47Speaker 1: I borrow? So they don't let alone. You call their
- 1:49Speaker 1: record and they asked you, she said, why you can
- 1:51Speaker 1: get another one? We women through genius use of technology
- 1:54Speaker 1: relationship building and and stellar marketing strategies. When we look good,
- 1:59Speaker 1: you feel good it and we got the perfect pieces
- 2:01Speaker 1: to help you upgrade your look flaws lely and affordably.
- 2:05Speaker 1: That's what Sassy Jones Boutique can do. Her axception, with
- 2:08Speaker 1: her obsession with exceeding customer expectation, is what has helped
- 2:12Speaker 1: to become an award winning accessory brand. Please welcome to
- 2:16Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation, Charie Jones. Hi Rason, how are you
- 2:21Speaker 1: come on? Girl? You make we win in here. We
- 2:24Speaker 1: went in here because you know why we're winning because
- 2:25Speaker 1: you got money and your money made conversation. If you
- 2:29Speaker 1: didn't have money, I don't think I could put your
- 2:31Speaker 1: money made gosation. Oh my god, I am so thrilled
- 2:37Speaker 1: to be here. And Lord knows, yes, I'm happy that
- 2:39Speaker 1: I made the cut to be of Money Making Conversations.
- 2:45Speaker 1: This is we're gonna do with you, and I was.
- 2:47Speaker 1: My relationship with you is that when you come on
- 2:49Speaker 1: my show, I don't just do an interview. You give
- 2:52Speaker 1: me some banners, You give me some videos of what
- 2:55Speaker 1: your brand is, and I will put it on my
- 2:57Speaker 1: platform because that's the purpose of this show. Because you
- 3:00Speaker 1: are a person they call they call you a marketing mathing.
- 3:05Speaker 1: You know, you know that's what they're saying. Because this
- 3:08Speaker 1: money made a conversation. I brought a marketing mathing on that.
- 3:11Speaker 1: And see the thing I know about accessories because see
- 3:13Speaker 1: like today I got my they call them suspenders, but
- 3:16Speaker 1: when you pay a little money for them, they call
- 3:17Speaker 1: them braces. The hold of the pains. You know some
- 3:20Speaker 1: I'm wearing some bracestcy. This is what they call the accessory.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You know. See people that people that they go into
- 3:26Speaker 1: the other stores, they call the suspenders. Got you, I
- 3:31Speaker 1: got no braces. Now, when you pay a certain amount
- 3:33Speaker 1: of money, they changed the name. So you do accessories. Now,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I know how important that is, you know, from cuff legs,
- 3:42Speaker 1: two watches, two shoes, because I wear a pair of
- 3:46Speaker 1: shoes will change the look of my suit of my pants.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And sometimes I can get away with that because they
- 3:52Speaker 1: looking at my shoes, they don't know I wore that
- 3:54Speaker 1: suit a couple of weeks ago, last week, yesterday. So
- 3:58Speaker 1: tell us about this whole How how this I said,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Jones get started, and how can we reach out and
- 4:02Speaker 1: the help continue to make you a multimillion dollar company?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Oh well, Sansy Jones. We started five years ago, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: we started with two small things, my mini van and
- 4:13Speaker 1: my kitchen. So I traveled. I left my corporate job,
- 4:17Speaker 1: traveling the world doing these trade shows and accessorizing women
- 4:20Speaker 1: at every trade show that you can imagine. And I
- 4:23Speaker 1: drove my minivan. We never we never flew. I didn't
- 4:25Speaker 1: have the budget for that, you know. I was put
- 4:27Speaker 1: down in dollars in my in my minivan. And it
- 4:30Speaker 1: was also the first year of my twin boys wife.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I had just dropped twin boys. They were you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: three and you know, three months at the time, and
- 4:37Speaker 1: we got on the road and I just wanted to
- 4:40Speaker 1: make it and that was the only way that I
- 4:42Speaker 1: knew to get out of the corporate right, I just
- 4:44Speaker 1: go sell to women, you know, and sometimes the boys
- 4:46Speaker 1: and my family came, and sometimes they stayed home. But then,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you know, at the end of that year, it was
- 4:51Speaker 1: so physically exhausting and it was so mentally exhausting, and
- 4:54Speaker 1: I wasn't happy. And so I had a choice. I
- 4:57Speaker 1: could either go back to work or I could work
- 5:00Speaker 1: my business in a much smarter way, and I decided
- 5:03Speaker 1: to do the second, which was through online marketing. And
- 5:06Speaker 1: I said, you know what the biggest fear with online
- 5:09Speaker 1: shopping is that people don't really know who they're buying from.
- 5:13Speaker 1: They don't really know what the craft is gonna look
- 5:15Speaker 1: like when they get it in the mail, whether they're
- 5:17Speaker 1: gonna be happy, who who am I gonna call you
- 5:20Speaker 1: on customer service? Are they in a barrack? Are they not?
- 5:22Speaker 1: You know all of those things. So I say, what
- 5:25Speaker 1: if I could create my own h S in QVC
- 5:29Speaker 1: like experience and allow the customer to get to know
- 5:32Speaker 1: who they're doing business with the next time they have
- 5:34Speaker 1: an accessory decision, we are top of mind and also
- 5:39Speaker 1: off have a have an excellent offer and incentive to buy,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and just have fun. Right. And it's like the modern
- 5:45Speaker 1: thing of just demoing and teaching the customer how to
- 5:49Speaker 1: use your products. That's that's what it is, in the
- 5:51Speaker 1: pure in the purest form. So that thing we started
- 5:54Speaker 1: in my kitchen UM called the Sparkle Party. So that
- 5:57Speaker 1: that same shelving, that same custom shelving system that I
- 6:00Speaker 1: purchased for the trade shows. I set that bad boy
- 6:03Speaker 1: up in my kitchen. So every every week on Wednesdays
- 6:07Speaker 1: we had we live streamed on periscope and on stage. Yeah, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 1: live streams in front of this set up. And first
- 6:18Speaker 1: night I did it, I made six hundred dollars in
- 6:21Speaker 1: an hour. And we've done it for two years now.
- 6:25Speaker 1: We've done it for two years now, and for that
- 6:27Speaker 1: hour of work now we make ten thousand dollars every
- 6:30Speaker 1: Wednesday night. Now that is so cool because of the
- 6:36Speaker 1: fact that you know, because first of all, because that's
- 6:38Speaker 1: what that's using, what social media is all about. First
- 6:41Speaker 1: of all. Yeah, and secondly, you know, I know people
- 6:43Speaker 1: are listening to you gotta have personality now, ms Jones
- 6:46Speaker 1: has personalities, So you're just can just because there's a
- 6:48Speaker 1: lot of people. There's a lot of people out there,
- 6:50Speaker 1: a live broadcast in Paris, becose they need to shut
- 6:52Speaker 1: that down. If if I, if I had a job,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'll be going okay, okay, a key hired me because
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna go through and just unplow some people. Because
- 7:02Speaker 1: because because social media shouldn't be free, you should start
- 7:05Speaker 1: charging people that shouldn't be on social media. They really shouldn't,
- 7:07Speaker 1: you know what, because they waste some time because you
- 7:10Speaker 1: can get more, you can get more more bandwidth. Now,
- 7:13Speaker 1: now here's the deal. I love this because you you
- 7:16Speaker 1: you said that, you said, look shopping network, you can
- 7:18Speaker 1: do it. Why can't I do it? Why can't I
- 7:21Speaker 1: tell people about my brand? When did you know that
- 7:24Speaker 1: it was a hit? Was when you got your first purchase,
- 7:26Speaker 1: you went, this could work, you know what? I think
- 7:31Speaker 1: the first one because I didn't have many people watching.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We might have had twenty four people watching on the
- 7:37Speaker 1: first Barker Party. But to be able to convert that
- 7:39Speaker 1: into six hundred dollars for one hour of work between
- 7:41Speaker 1: eight and nine pm, um, I'd say that that was
- 7:44Speaker 1: worth it. And I just decided to double down and
- 7:46Speaker 1: do more of what worked. So we kept doing it,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and then we started to advertise to it. So instead
- 7:53Speaker 1: of going on and no one's there and talking to crickets,
- 7:57Speaker 1: we set up the anticipation, Hey, join us at eight o'clock.
- 8:01Speaker 1: We've got an exclusive offer for you. You're gonna have
- 8:03Speaker 1: a chance to win, and we give away crazy stuff.
- 8:06Speaker 1: We give away handbags, all sorts of stuff, hundred dollar
- 8:08Speaker 1: gift cards every week. And now we're to the point
- 8:11Speaker 1: where we're inviting celebrities and friends. We call it Sparkle
- 8:14Speaker 1: Party with friends to join in. Um, you know for
- 8:18Speaker 1: for the viewing experience for the customers. But I knew
- 8:20Speaker 1: it was a hit from the first, from the first
- 8:22Speaker 1: time I did it. Now here's the customers loved it? Okay,
- 8:25Speaker 1: when does it happen? When does it happen? Every Wednesday
- 8:28Speaker 1: night at eight pm Eastern Standard Time on our Facebook page.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You can find us on Facebook Sassy Jones Boutique. Okay, cool,
- 8:35Speaker 1: So here's the deal. Here's the deal. You have Roshawn
- 8:38Speaker 1: likes to help our people. Okay. I like to be
- 8:42Speaker 1: bill your brand. It's already out there on fire. So
- 8:51Speaker 1: so I'm gonna star. I want to. I want to
- 8:52Speaker 1: promote every Wednesday. If you don't mind, send me your
- 8:54Speaker 1: lane and I have my staff connect you so we
- 8:57Speaker 1: can start. You. I got like almost eight hundred thousand
- 9:00Speaker 1: Facebook followers and we're gonna start. Can we send them
- 9:03Speaker 1: over there to you? Can? Can I send a few
- 9:05Speaker 1: of them over there to you? I need? Yes, please
- 9:07Speaker 1: send them to me because you know to yours it's
- 9:10Speaker 1: the Sparkle Party, right, the Sparkle Party, right, Okay party? Okay, cool, okay, cool?
- 9:14Speaker 1: Because see I love first of all, I love your personality.
- 9:18Speaker 1: You You You're a winner, You're a winner. Secondly, you're
- 9:21Speaker 1: right in life where I created money making conversations because
- 9:24Speaker 1: you're self starter. You thought you thought about an idea
- 9:27Speaker 1: because a lot of people on there. It's like I said,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you say, look here, I got let me use my
- 9:32Speaker 1: my air time wisely US an hour and you picked
- 9:36Speaker 1: the time a PM. I don't know why you picked
- 9:39Speaker 1: the time, but that time work for you and your kitchen.
- 9:41Speaker 1: The twins probably sleep, husband probably in bed watching Center
- 9:46Speaker 1: or something like. I could do my thing in my kitchen.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You like build out anything using let everybody know you authentic,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and I feel that that's why people really bought into you. Besides,
- 9:55Speaker 1: you also realize I have a great product is shiny
- 9:59Speaker 1: show people of the anythings on TV and said a
- 10:02Speaker 1: reasonable price because guess what that's the new TV is
- 10:05Speaker 1: You're monitoring your phone, that's the new TV. And your head.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You your head of the curve. So every Wednesday, I
- 10:11Speaker 1: want to be a part of the Sparkle party. Okay,
- 10:15Speaker 1: Sassy Jones boutique, I'm there. I'm not lying to you.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So Samantha's in here. Uh, just senda whoever situation that
- 10:22Speaker 1: I want to I want to get that banner. I
