- 2:07Speaker 2: on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 6: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Uh huh,
- 2:13Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Man, boy boy boy boy man. God has been good
- 2:20Speaker 6: to me. I can't even I can't even put it
- 2:25Speaker 6: into words, man, But I try, though, I try, I try,
- 2:28Speaker 6: I try. God does things for me just right on time.
- 2:32Speaker 6: He's so cool with it. And I happened to run
- 2:37Speaker 6: across Joel Oldstein on television like I often do all
- 2:41Speaker 6: the time, and I was sitting there and he had
- 2:47Speaker 6: such a timely message for me. A part of it
- 2:50Speaker 6: was something that I've said oftentimes about if you really
- 2:56Speaker 6: really want to be successful, if you really really want
- 3:00Speaker 6: to change, if you really really want to prosper If
- 3:03Speaker 6: you really really want to achieve greatness, if you really
- 3:06Speaker 6: really want to have something in life that's worth having,
- 3:10Speaker 6: if you really really want to accomplish your goals, you
- 3:13Speaker 6: got to push through.
- 3:15Speaker 2: All of it.
- 3:17Speaker 6: He said that when you get closer to it, the
- 3:21Speaker 6: more difficult it becomes. Did you hear me? He said,
- 3:26Speaker 6: the closer you get to what it is you want
- 3:29Speaker 6: or you need, or you have to have, or you
- 3:33Speaker 6: would love to be, it gets a little bit more
- 3:37Speaker 6: difficult when you get closer.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He told this story that's in the Bible that I'd
- 3:44Speaker 2: never heard before. This is what he said.
- 3:48Speaker 6: He said, there was a man who was paralyzed, and
- 3:55Speaker 6: he had heard that Jesus was speaking at a house,
- 4:00Speaker 6: and so he wanted to get there. So he convinced
- 4:03Speaker 6: four of his friends to put him on a stretcher
- 4:08Speaker 6: and carry him for hours to get to this house where.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Jesus was speaking. He said that along the way, these
- 4:21Speaker 2: friends said that.
- 4:24Speaker 6: They went along because he had so much faith that
- 4:27Speaker 6: if he could just get to him, it could be
- 4:30Speaker 6: better that he could if he could just get over
- 4:33Speaker 6: there and he could see him, that he might have
- 4:36Speaker 6: a shot at getting here. And so he said they
- 4:39Speaker 6: took out along the way and they walked and they
- 4:41Speaker 6: walked and they walked for hours. And then when they
- 4:45Speaker 6: got there, the house was completely filled with people. That
- 4:50Speaker 6: was absolutely it was packed wall to wall. There was
- 4:53Speaker 6: absolutely no way for the men to get him on
- 4:57Speaker 6: that stretcher in to see Jesus. This is a story
- 5:00Speaker 6: that uh Joe Losting said is in the Bible, and
- 5:04Speaker 6: he was telling it now. I'm just repeating the parts
- 5:07Speaker 6: of it I gathered.
- 5:09Speaker 2: And so he said.
- 5:10Speaker 6: They sat there and they went, wow, man, we walked
- 5:13Speaker 6: all this weight and it's full, and and and and
- 5:16Speaker 6: and and and we can't get there, he said. And
- 5:20Speaker 6: then the guy with the affliction told the four men,
- 5:25Speaker 6: if you get up on the roof and cut a
- 5:28Speaker 6: hole in it and lower me down, I bet I
- 5:33Speaker 6: could see him then, and I bet it to be
- 5:35Speaker 6: all right now. He then said, you must imagined how
- 5:41Speaker 6: these four men must have felt when you carry somebody
- 5:45Speaker 6: for hours on on on on on on on the way.
- 5:49Speaker 6: They had to carry some cloth connected by a couple
- 5:51Speaker 6: of sticks, said the me and shoulders had to be bruised,
- 5:55Speaker 6: had to have deep gouges, and them not cuts, but
- 5:58Speaker 6: just indentation to where they had carried the weight of
- 6:01Speaker 6: this grown man for so many hours, and they looked
- 6:04Speaker 6: at him in disbelief, like, man, what are you talking about?
- 6:07Speaker 2: We done walked all this far.
- 6:09Speaker 6: He said, yeah, but if you get up on that
- 6:10Speaker 6: roof and you cut a hole in it and lower
- 6:14Speaker 6: me down, I can see him and when he see me,
- 6:18Speaker 6: it'll be all right. After sitting there and imploring the men,
- 6:23Speaker 6: they went up and did just that, And then the
- 6:27Speaker 6: story that Joe Los Dean said, the man was healed.
- 6:32Speaker 6: But the point he was making was he was saying
- 6:35Speaker 6: that the closer you get to what it is you
- 6:38Speaker 6: really want, the more difficult it's going to become. But
- 6:43Speaker 6: you've got to push through. See, if you don't push through,
- 6:46Speaker 6: you never know. See, you can't get right to the answer.
- 6:49Speaker 6: And because it gets really difficult, started creating those little
- 6:53Speaker 6: saying that we got as people. Well, I guess it
- 6:56Speaker 6: wasn't meant to be. I guess it wasn't in the
- 7:00Speaker 6: Lord's will. Now, man, I guess you should not give
- 7:03Speaker 6: up right now. I guess you should keep pressing. I
- 7:07Speaker 6: guess you should do more, because see, in all of us,
- 7:10Speaker 6: in all of us, when you've had enough, I want
- 7:13Speaker 6: you to know something you do have a little bit
- 7:15Speaker 6: more in all of us. You can do one more
- 7:20Speaker 6: you know. That's one of my favorite things that I
- 7:22Speaker 6: heard Joel Oldstein said, and it kind of made me
- 7:24Speaker 6: feel good. He said, I always feel like I can
- 7:29Speaker 6: do one more anything, And I tell my friends all
- 7:32Speaker 6: the time, I can do one more man. I could
- 7:35Speaker 6: do one more day. I can do one more anything.
- 7:40Speaker 6: Now Here was the jewel that I never really knew
- 7:45Speaker 6: that Joel Oldstein and God sent to me I needed
- 7:50Speaker 6: to hear. He said that no matter what you're going through,
- 7:56Speaker 6: no matter how long the challenge is you've been facing,
- 7:59Speaker 6: God has an end date for it all.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
- 8:05Speaker 6: No matter what you're going through, no matter what challenge
- 8:07Speaker 6: you're facing, no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into,
- 8:11Speaker 6: God has an ending date. All you got to do
- 8:16Speaker 6: is keep pressing forward. All you got to do is
- 8:19Speaker 6: hang in there. All you got to do is don't
- 8:22Speaker 6: give up. All you have to do is don't turn back.
- 8:26Speaker 6: There is an end date for all of it, even
- 8:31Speaker 6: when you think you've had enough. And boy, have I
- 8:36Speaker 6: had this conversation with God on several things that I've
- 8:41Speaker 6: been going through and I've even told him, Look, I
- 8:44Speaker 6: got it, man, He said, just keep hanging on. There
- 8:50Speaker 6: is an end date to whatever it is you're going through.
- 8:53Speaker 6: There's an end date to your illness, your sickness, your
- 8:58Speaker 6: tired of being tired. There's an end date to this
- 9:02Speaker 6: relationship that you can't seem to get through. Beyond over
- 9:10Speaker 6: that's like a cancer to you. There's an end date.
- 9:15Speaker 6: But you've got to hang in there. You've got to
- 9:18Speaker 6: keep pushing forward. You cannot turn around. You must not
- 9:23Speaker 6: go back, because when God gets you through this and
- 9:28Speaker 6: you break through to the other side, the reward and
- 9:31Speaker 6: the benefit is far greater than the struggle. I oftentimes
- 9:39Speaker 6: look at some of the things that God has brought
- 9:41Speaker 6: me through in my worst times, and when he brought
- 9:45Speaker 6: me through, I went, wow, man, now that I understand that,
- 9:48Speaker 6: Now that I'm on the other side and I have
- 9:50Speaker 6: the benefit of the reward for it, would you do
- 9:54Speaker 6: it all again to get that?
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yes, I would.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people from all around

- 10:34Speaker 6: Shirley Strawberry, Califrail, Mississippi, Monica Junior to come back kid
- 10:38Speaker 6: and legend of nephew Tommy Hey Junior.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Want's on your mind today? Gonna be a little different today,
- 10:43Speaker 2: just warning you go ahead.
- 10:45Speaker 7: Okay, Uh well, let me ask you a question. You know,
- 10:48Speaker 7: you changed a lot of people lives, including mine, Thomas,
- 10:51Speaker 7: all of us. How do you make that decision if
- 10:54Speaker 7: you're gonna help somebody?
- 10:56Speaker 8: Oh?
- 10:56Speaker 6: I don't always make that decision. Sometime God tell me
- 10:59Speaker 6: what to do. He just puts it on my heart,
- 11:03Speaker 6: you know. Sometimes it just it just happened. I've helped
- 11:08Speaker 6: some people, what's the word big grudgingly? Yeah, I've helped
- 11:14Speaker 6: some people. I ain't want to, so God told me to.
- 11:17Speaker 2: So he had to help him. Like my cousin this
- 11:22Speaker 2: winter was real cold, your.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Relative win or what?
- 11:28Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:31Speaker 9: I just said.
- 11:34Speaker 6: My cousin, y'all don't know him, and so he stole
- 11:38Speaker 6: my car when I was twenty one years old because
- 11:43Speaker 6: he's on drugs, real bad. He stole my car and
- 11:48Speaker 6: sold my car for some drugs. Yeah, and the day
- 11:52Speaker 6: he did it, we knew it was right after he
- 11:54Speaker 6: did it. We knew what he had done and asked
- 11:57Speaker 6: him who did he sell the car to? And he
- 11:59Speaker 6: couldn't remember. Yeah, yeah that fast. So like you know,
- 12:06Speaker 6: we ended up finding the car because he sold it
- 12:09Speaker 6: to some people that knew, some people that my brothers knew,
- 12:12Speaker 6: and they bought the car back over and say, hey, man,
- 12:15Speaker 6: this Steve car. Yeah, so we got because I never
- 12:17Speaker 6: liked Class after that. And he needed eighteen hundred dollars
- 12:21Speaker 6: to fix his furnace station. Well, they needed eighteen hundred
- 12:25Speaker 6: fix his furnace this summer because it was this winter
- 12:27Speaker 6: because it was real cold in Cleveland, and I wasn't
- 12:29Speaker 6: gonna send it to him.
- 12:30Speaker 2: They and my sister Mona called me and told me,
- 12:33Speaker 2: you need to help class out.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Now.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I know why you're mad at him, Steve, because you've
- 12:38Speaker 2: been mad since she was a boy. I wasn't. I
- 12:40Speaker 2: was twenty one. Monment he stole my car, but we
- 12:43Speaker 2: got it back. Steve and I never forgave clints. No,
- 12:48Speaker 2: I wouldn't letting it go. So what I care about
- 12:51Speaker 2: you being cold is winner.
- 12:53Speaker 8: You know.
- 12:53Speaker 6: And then the Lord had my sister call me and
- 12:57Speaker 6: then send him the money, only do it, And God
- 13:05Speaker 6: did that not me?
- 13:07Speaker 1: At least you were obedient, that's the that's the.
- 13:11Speaker 6: But hold On couldn't send it to his bank account,
- 13:13Speaker 6: had to go to Western Union because he don't have
- 13:16Speaker 6: an account. They yeah, they got you know, how mean
- 13:22Speaker 6: people ain't got no bank account? How many cuds? All
- 13:25Speaker 6: your cousins ain't got bank accounts?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Called? So oh yeah, I'm like you trying to see
- 13:31Speaker 2: a butcher some money. See what happened?
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, guys, thank you.

- 15:01Speaker 8: at the job probably about five years now, Chel she
- 15:03Speaker 8: ever mentioned me.
- 15:04Speaker 12: Now, I don't have no melting what's going on?
- 15:07Speaker 5: Everything cool?
- 15:08Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 15:09Speaker 8: Everything is there? Everything is there. Hey, listen, I wanted
- 15:12Speaker 8: to have a conversation with you. Man. I don't really
- 15:16Speaker 8: know how to spring this on you or whatever, but
- 15:20Speaker 8: like I said, I've been working despire for five years
- 15:22Speaker 8: and been on to reacha probably like around three, and
- 15:28Speaker 8: I guess what I really want to say is that
- 15:30Speaker 8: I didn't. I didn't gain some feelings for Tasha.
- 15:33Speaker 14: And oh yeah, who who whoa whoa whoa wah wh
- 15:36Speaker 14: whoa wo ho hold on, man, holo, holo.
- 15:39Speaker 12: You're calling me and you're telling me right now you
- 15:42Speaker 12: have feelings for my wife who you work with, and
- 15:45Speaker 12: you like her Teresa, because that is my wife.
- 15:48Speaker 5: You have feelings for my wife? Is that correct?
- 15:50Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:51Speaker 8: You know it took me a while to come forward
- 15:53Speaker 8: and say this, but you know I'm mad enough now
- 15:56Speaker 8: that I feel like me and you need to talk
- 15:57Speaker 8: about it.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Have you know your mind?
- 16:00Speaker 4: No?
- 16:00Speaker 2: No, I haven't.
- 16:01Speaker 8: Have you got your list? I'm just letting you know.
- 16:04Speaker 8: Today is the day that I decided I'm not caring
- 16:07Speaker 8: this weight on my shoulders no more. I'm getting it
- 16:09Speaker 8: off of me, all right. And at the end of
- 16:11Speaker 8: the day, I love your wife more than you do.
- 16:14Speaker 4: What I.
- 16:17Speaker 8: I love your wife more than you do.
- 16:21Speaker 12: Br So you how long you've been loving my wife?
- 16:25Speaker 12: You tell me how long you've been loving my How long?
- 16:26Speaker 12: How long you feel that you have been in love
- 16:28Speaker 12: with my wife.
- 16:30Speaker 8: I mean I'm looking at I know, I know, I
- 16:32Speaker 8: know at least.
- 16:32Speaker 5: To years because my wife even know this.
- 16:36Speaker 8: I mean, I'm sure she's aware of it to a
- 16:39Speaker 8: certain extent, to a certain extent.
- 16:41Speaker 5: What house, How certain of the extent are we talking?
- 16:43Speaker 8: I mean, you know when we go to lunch together
- 16:45Speaker 8: and she you know, I mean, I'm sure you know.
- 16:47Speaker 12: Y'all y'all were going to lunch together.
- 16:49Speaker 5: How long y'all been going to lunch together?
- 16:51Speaker 8: Bro, we were going to lunch together at least at
- 16:53Speaker 8: least two and a half years. I mean, we go
- 16:54Speaker 8: to lunch together almost every day. I mean we might
- 16:56Speaker 8: miss the day if she go with the girls, I
- 16:58Speaker 8: go with the fellas. So but for the most part,
- 17:01Speaker 8: me and her, me and her pretty much a lunch together.
- 17:03Speaker 5: God, I need a brou sed hell away from my wife.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Bro.

- 17:18Speaker 12: to stay them back here, stay the back, man. I
- 17:22Speaker 12: don't want to hear none of that, nothing, nothing, nothing
- 17:25Speaker 12: at all, because.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Come on, we don't listen. Listen, I know all about you,
- 17:31Speaker 8: trade everything about it, all right, I already know how
- 17:34Speaker 8: you treat her.
- 17:35Speaker 9: All right.
- 17:37Speaker 5: I'm hot.
- 17:38Speaker 12: I'm feeling like a strong senstation right now because I
- 17:41Speaker 12: really want to reach through the phone and just break
- 17:42Speaker 12: over your neck right now.
- 17:44Speaker 5: That's what I really want to do. That's what I
- 17:46Speaker 5: really want to do.
- 17:47Speaker 12: And why my wife talking about business outside of my
- 17:49Speaker 12: road hole, That's what I'm trying to figure out.
- 17:51Speaker 8: Hey, all I'm saying is when we go over to lunch,
- 17:53Speaker 8: she let me know how she's feeling. She let me
- 17:55Speaker 8: know what she's going through.
- 17:56Speaker 12: Let me start with that lunch bro. I don't want
- 17:59Speaker 12: to hear the damn thing about lunch. Bro, ain't no
- 18:02Speaker 12: more lunch from here on. That bro calling me talking
- 18:04Speaker 12: about you and along with my white people taking what

- 18:19Speaker 12: I'm talking to you.
- 18:20Speaker 5: You're not coming to time. What you found nothing to work?
- 18:23Speaker 8: You're not. You're not finna do nothing.
- 18:25Speaker 12: Come on you right right now, brom My teams, right now,
- 18:27Speaker 12: tell me where you are right right now, bro, right now?

- 18:52Speaker 5: Brokay that you know what?
- 18:53Speaker 4: What?

- 27:50Speaker 10: I can't.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Y'all probably gonna have to leave her at the house.
- 27:56Speaker 10: I can't see what you agree with the other girls. Yeah, well,
- 28:03Speaker 10: she said, isn't that what friends are for?
- 28:05Speaker 2: So but let me try your drink?
- 28:11Speaker 1: All right? Moving on to Sky in Detroit, this is
- 28:15Speaker 1: the last one.
- 28:16Speaker 10: Steve Sky in Detroit writes, my dad has four children

- 28:22Speaker 10: I'm twenty two and I live in the basement. The

- 28:28Speaker 10: my room and use my bathroom. They said it's their home,
- 28:32Speaker 10: and that's what they have always done. Why does my
- 28:34Speaker 10: daddy allow them to disrespect me?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Are you gonna four key value neue way?
- 28:42Speaker 16: Huh.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I don't know what's happening here.

- 28:58Speaker 10: They like to hang out down there.
- 29:00Speaker 6: So obviously she joined in with this group after the
- 29:03Speaker 6: folk kids was here, and that's using the whole house.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah, his dad just don't sound like the ideal living
- 29:13Speaker 1: or arrangement. Yeah, it doesn't.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Yeah, y'all to just ask your daddy for some help
- 29:20Speaker 2: so you can get your own apartment.

- 29:23Speaker 2: Anybody in my bathroom, that's not gonna happen.
- 29:28Speaker 10: But the kids said, she told them, But the kids said,
- 29:32Speaker 10: it is their home and that's what they've always done.
- 29:35Speaker 2: We always been down here. They just let you have

- 30:07Speaker 11: need to pack up, you know. I mean she may
- 30:10Speaker 11: have fallen on hard times or something.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well, well you think how hard is it? Well,
- 30:16Speaker 2: when you fall on hard times, hard things just didn't happen.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Why they call them hard time?
- 30:22Speaker 1: All right, celo?
- 30:24Speaker 2: Uh, somebody to fill up?
- 30:26Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 30:28Speaker 10: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 30:32Speaker 10: Hardy morning show. President Trump said he didn't think Pope
- 30:40Speaker 10: Leo the fourteenth is doing a very good job, and
- 30:43Speaker 10: that he's a very good, a very liberal person. The
- 30:47Speaker 10: president posted on social media, quote, if I wasn't in
- 30:51Speaker 10: the White House, Leo wouldn't be in the Vatican. Okay,
- 30:55Speaker 10: Leo should get his act together as pope used common sense,
- 30:58Speaker 10: stop catering to the radical left, and focused on being
- 31:01Speaker 10: a great pope and not a politician.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Uh, Trump isn't a good politician. And how does he
- 31:11Speaker 2: know what pope duties are?
- 31:14Speaker 15: Well?
- 31:14Speaker 1: He said what he said.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You know, it's an amazing guy.
- 31:18Speaker 8: Man.
- 31:19Speaker 6: He has an opinion about everything. All you got to
- 31:20Speaker 6: do is say something contrary to what you want and
- 31:23Speaker 6: then you on the list if.
- 31:25Speaker 1: You disagree with them. Right, But that's okay because Popolio's not.
- 31:29Speaker 1: He clapped back.
- 31:29Speaker 10: He said, quote, God does not listen to the prayers
- 31:33Speaker 10: of those who rage war, but rejects them. And then
- 31:37Speaker 10: he said he is he has no fear of the
- 31:39Speaker 10: Trump administration. He is not afraid, not scared.
- 31:46Speaker 6: But everybody else he'll do Yeah, true, true, Yeah, Hey man,
- 31:53Speaker 6: I'm cool with the dude.
- 31:54Speaker 2: He into god business.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he says he has no fear.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, he's not in the mega business.
- 32:02Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 9: And that message, I mean, the pope is from Chicago,
- 32:06Speaker 9: he's American.
- 32:08Speaker 13: Art.
- 32:13Speaker 9: How wild is that that he thinks that he has
- 32:16Speaker 9: the audacity to criticize the pope.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Have you ever heard of president do that?
- 32:24Speaker 10: But you know, that's why you know, people love Trump
- 32:28Speaker 10: because he says things and does things like this.
- 32:31Speaker 6: No, but see, but that's so ignorant that that just
- 32:36Speaker 6: shows you the state that a lot of these people
- 32:38Speaker 6: in this country are in.
- 32:40Speaker 2: It's people who love Trump no matter what he does.
- 32:42Speaker 2: So you follow Trump, you have no concern, you know,
- 32:45Speaker 2: and no kills me when they when they say Trump
- 32:48Speaker 2: is sent by God.
- 32:49Speaker 15: No he's not.
- 32:51Speaker 2: No, he's not know God ain't do that. Trump Trump
- 32:55Speaker 2: is speaking of what God's work. No, no he's not.
- 32:59Speaker 6: Bishop Kenneth Olmer taught me the best lesson I've ever heard.
- 33:04Speaker 6: I asked him one time, I said, Bishop, how do
- 33:07Speaker 6: you know when God is speaking to you? He said,
- 33:09Speaker 6: it's very simple. God's voice has no sin in it.
- 33:15Speaker 6: God ain't told you to go down there and cuts
- 33:18Speaker 6: nobody out. God ain't told you to go over here
- 33:22Speaker 6: and start the war. God ain't told you none of that.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Is he even good at what he was supposed to
- 33:28Speaker 2: be doing? Is he a good businessman? No, he's not. Exactly.
- 33:33Speaker 6: The airline crashed, the casinos closed, all the buildings are bankrupt.
- 33:38Speaker 2: He has nothing.
- 33:39Speaker 15: Man.
- 33:40Speaker 6: All these things you see with his name on it,
- 33:42Speaker 6: these are licensing deals. He doesn't own these places. Trump
- 33:46Speaker 6: don't own a single golf course.
- 33:48Speaker 8: Now.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Is he rich right now or beyond belief? Because he's
- 33:53Speaker 6: used the White House the right time the second time. See,
- 33:57Speaker 6: he didn't put his family in none of the positions.
- 34:00Speaker 6: So they're out there freely walking around as regular people
- 34:03Speaker 6: for Jared. Yeah, they got jerried in here doing whatever
- 34:08Speaker 6: he wanted to do that bitcoined and made him billions
- 34:11Speaker 6: of dollars.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah, don't forget the golden sneakers and critic car Yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 1: the coins or whatever it is.
- 34:20Speaker 10: Yeah, he's us, He's us lush, all right, switching gears.
- 34:30Speaker 10: The Department of Justice has launched an anti trust investigation
- 34:34Speaker 10: into the NFL amid growing complaints that it's becoming too
- 34:38Speaker 10: expensive and too confusing for fans to watch the games.
- 34:42Speaker 10: More NFL games are being moved exclusively to streaming platforms
- 34:46Speaker 10: like Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube, and Peacock, forcing fans to
- 34:51Speaker 10: juggle multiple subscript subscriptions, and federal officials say the concern
- 34:56Speaker 10: is affordability and fairness for consumers. The NFL argues that
- 35:02Speaker 10: it's simply adapting to how viewers watch TV today, and
- 35:05Speaker 10: they note that most games still air on free over
- 35:09Speaker 10: the air broadcasts in local markets. Your thoughts, Steve, why.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Don't y'all fix these gas prices? Don't worry about where
- 35:16Speaker 2: the game at?
- 35:18Speaker 1: Are you talking about the Apartment of Justice?
- 35:20Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 35:21Speaker 6: What y'all worried about that? For y'all need to fix
- 35:24Speaker 6: these gas prices. Few people go to work and keep eating.
- 35:27Speaker 6: Now I'll admit I don't know where half the games
- 35:30Speaker 6: is at no more because they own all these different apps. Hell,
- 35:35Speaker 6: trying to find the Masters yesterday and said, yeah, I
- 35:41Speaker 6: went to the Golf channel and they was kept doing
- 35:43Speaker 6: all these reports.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I was talking.
- 35:49Speaker 10: Yeah, well that is the issue. They say, it's it's
- 35:52Speaker 10: too becoming, too high and uh too confusing.
- 35:56Speaker 2: It is you gotta have almost every stream service to
- 35:59Speaker 2: watch the game.
- 36:00Speaker 13: Yeah, all of them too much with their back on CBS, ABC,
- 36:04Speaker 13: NBC so we can have a great Sunday.
- 36:07Speaker 2: That's a distraction from what's really going on.
- 36:11Speaker 6: Yeah, y'all need to fix these gas prices, these grocery prices,
- 36:16Speaker 6: and this inflation rate. Well might get wherever they show

- 56:52Speaker 10: That's right, Thank you, nephew. Subject Should I throw her
- 56:56Speaker 10: out with the mattress? Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a fifty
- 56:59Speaker 10: three three year old married man. My wife and I
- 57:02Speaker 10: have been separated for a little over six months because
- 57:05Speaker 10: I was having an emotional affair with one of my coworkers.
- 57:09Speaker 10: I was telling my coworker about my marital problems and
- 57:12Speaker 10: I got way too close with her. After a night
- 57:15Speaker 10: of drinking wine and whining, I ended up kissing my coworker.
- 57:19Speaker 10: I withdrew from her immediately, and we agreed to keep
- 57:23Speaker 10: our relationship strictly professional. My coworker told her husband about it,
- 57:28Speaker 10: and her husband called my wife. I had to move
- 57:32Speaker 10: out of our home because my wife was not going
- 57:34Speaker 10: to let it go. I was staying with my brother
- 57:37Speaker 10: and his wife, and I went home to talk to
- 57:39Speaker 10: my wife all the time, begging for her forgiveness every
- 57:43Speaker 10: time we talked.
- 57:44Speaker 1: She allowed me to move back in about a week ago, and.
- 57:48Speaker 10: When I told my brother I was going home, he
- 57:51Speaker 10: said he heard a rumor about her messing around with
- 57:54Speaker 10: a man that owns the cleaners that we all go to.
- 57:57Speaker 1: I laughed it off, knowing that my wife is the
- 58:00Speaker 1: cheating type.
- 58:01Speaker 10: After a day after I moved back home, my brother
- 58:05Speaker 10: encouraged me to ask my wife if the owner of
- 58:08Speaker 10: the dry cleaners has been inside my home.
- 58:11Speaker 4: So I did.
- 58:12Speaker 10: She nervously said that the man had been over to
- 58:15Speaker 10: deliver a dress that she left. I called her a
- 58:18Speaker 10: liar because the man has never delivered anything to us.
- 58:21Speaker 10: Before she started sweating and said her stomach was hurting.
- 58:26Speaker 10: I've pulled the truth out of her. He has been
- 58:29Speaker 10: in our home on several occasions, and he stayed till
- 58:33Speaker 10: wee hours of the morning. Once she swore he's never
- 58:36Speaker 10: been in our bed and they've never had sex. I'm
- 58:40Speaker 10: not buying it, and I don't want to work on
- 58:41Speaker 10: my marriage anymore? Am I being a hypocrite for how
- 58:44Speaker 10: I reacted if she cheated? Should if she cheated, should
- 58:48Speaker 10: I throw her out with the mattress? Well, you know,
- 58:52Speaker 10: women usually take men back when they cheat. I mean,
- 58:55Speaker 10: that's kind of the norm women usually do. But it
- 58:58Speaker 10: is a rare occurrence when I husband will take his
- 59:01Speaker 10: wife back for stepping out on him.
- 59:04Speaker 1: But this is bad.
- 59:05Speaker 10: Cheating is one thing, but you don't bring another man
- 59:08Speaker 10: into you and your husband's home.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You don't do that. You don't do that period.
- 59:12Speaker 10: The fact that your wife had that man in your
- 59:15Speaker 10: house on several occasions, I'm putting her more.
- 59:18Speaker 1: At fault here.
- 59:20Speaker 10: You left for over six months for cheating, because for
- 59:23Speaker 10: emotional cheating, as you called it, because your wife wouldn't
- 59:26Speaker 10: let it go. But she was doing the exact same thing,
- 59:29Speaker 10: and she was doing it in your house. That is
- 59:32Speaker 10: beyond stupid, that's beyond hypocritical knowing there's a double standard
- 59:36Speaker 10: and that men can't take it when their wives cheat.
- 59:39Speaker 10: She shouldn't even be surprised that you're mad. I mean,
- 59:43Speaker 10: she shouldn't even be upset that you don't want to
- 59:45Speaker 10: talk to her, that you don't want to work on
- 59:47Speaker 10: your marriage, because.
- 59:48Speaker 16: What can she say?
- 59:49Speaker 2: She's a cheater too.
- 59:51Speaker 10: Two wrongs do not make a right. But here's a
- 59:53Speaker 10: bigger question for me. How will you guys ever trust
- 59:58Speaker 10: each other again? And should you you throw her out
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: with the mattress?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: You ask?
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: Well, when you both calm down, you both can decide
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: if you're gonna forgive each other and if you're willing
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: to do the very hard, hard work and commitment that
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: it's going to take to fix it, then you'll see
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: if you can fix it and you can move forward
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: from that.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Steve, all right, I'm gonna just go out just how
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: I'm gonna do this letter. I don't believe everything I
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: read because I just see some holes in his story,
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: and so let me just You're a fifty three year
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: old married man. My wife and I have been separated
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: for a little over six months because I was having
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: an emotional affair with one of my coworkers.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: You don't believe that?
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: What is?
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Though? But where did you get that terminology from? You're
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: fifty three?
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: You old enough. If you was thirty something, I could
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: understand you trying to get away with this one. But
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: you and your fifties as matter of fact, you fifty three,
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: and you're telling me you was having any emotional affair
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: with one of your coworkers. I was telling my coworker
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: about my marital problems and I got way too close
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: with her. After a night of drinking and wining and
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: wine and whining, I ended up kissing my coworker. I
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: withdrew from her immediately, and we agreed to keep our
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: relationship strictly professional. Okay, now here is a lie. I
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: just think this is a lie. Okay, what because dog,
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: you had an emotional affair. Y'all kissed and you withdrew
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: immediately when that happened.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: In the movie?
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: What movie?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: That's the end? That ain't real life? Dog? Then my
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: coworker told her husband about it.
- 1:01:55Speaker 16: What you don't believe that?
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: Yeah, but see, she ain't just tell us about this kiss.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: She told something else, which I think was the truth.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: And then her husband called my wife. I don't know
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: where the little corporate people come from. There got to
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: be some little corporate people, because they just doing stuff.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: You caull on me. I'm gonna tell on you. I
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: called you, I told my wife. I told my husband
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: we was kissing. I told mine too.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: What It don't make no sense. Somebody lying somewhere. I
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: had to move out of our home because my wife
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: is not gonna let it go. You had to move
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: out because you cheated on your wife. That what you
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: gotn't move out. You got put out ain't cause she
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: wouldn't let it go.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: She was in you.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: So I went back to talk to my wife. I
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: went home, or anyway say about that. I was staying
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: with my brother and his wife, and I went home,
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: talked to my wife all the time, begging for forgiveness
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: every time we talk.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Hang on, hang on, Steve.
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: Okay, we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: subject should I throw her out with the mattress. We'll
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: You're listening to the d Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: you can see and feel, Unlike stream mops sore for
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: power mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: and hard to reach places.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Like behind the toilet.
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: more dirty floors. Try the sore for power mop love
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: it or your money back? All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is should I
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: throw her out with the mattress?
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: Yuh?
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: I don't know, bruh, But let me just get this out.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: The word You say you had a emotional affair with
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: a coworker, now you fifty three. You was telling her
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: about all your marital problems. Y'all got way too close.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: And next night, one night, y'all was out drinking. One
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: thing led to another and then you kissed her. Then
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: you pulled away right away. Uh Uh, this ain't right, boy,
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: boy stopped. So then she went home and told her
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: husband about it, and then you after she told her husband,
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: her husband called your wife, and then you tried to
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: explain to her was just emotional. She wouldn't let it go,
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: so you had to move out. First of all, she
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: didn't let it go because she thought you cheating on
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: her what you were, and then she found out and
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: she put you out. Uh, she allowed me to move
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: but anyway, I'm sorry. I'll get it all mixed up
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: because this letter is.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: This lies.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: Live lie, little lie. This ain't even a good lie.
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: You're an emotional affair. You fifty some years old. Where
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: you get that turn from?
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Where you get that from? That's how I noticed a lot.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: You don't think no, hell no, he gonna write it
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: in on this show.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: He listened to this show. We got grown people listening
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: to this show. You fifty three, I had an emotional affair.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: What is that? Okay? So anyway she put you out.
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: You wouldn't stay with your brother and his wife, and
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: you went home and talked to you all the time,
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: and you was begging her for forgiveness.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: She allowed you to move back in a week ago.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: When I told my brother I was going back home.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: He said he heard a rumor and she was messing
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: around with the man that owned the cleaners. She didn't
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: mess around a guy with George Jefferson, Lord have mercy
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: charming him.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: She just down there at that cleaner, said we're moving
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: on up. Yeah, she said, I sure am. He on
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: that cleaner, we finish go to a deluxe apartment in
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: the sky. She saw it as I laughed it off
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: because I know my wife ain't a cheating type.
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: And then the day after I moved back home, my
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: brother encouraged me to ask my wife if the owner
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: of the Dry Cleanness has been inside your house.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: So I did. She nervously said that the man had
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: been over to deliver a dress.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: And you call her a lie because that man ain't
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: never delivered nothing to y'all's house before.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: She started sweating, and she said, a stomach hurt. See
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: this one. You're this one.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: You don't need to be lying because you're sweating, stomach
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: curtain all this here.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: You got to be able to lie fluid me. You
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: can't be sweating. You can't be moaning when you line
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: this hole the Jesus corporate people right here. Has this
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: man been in the house? Huh? Has this man been
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: in my house? Huh? What you're sweating for? My stomach?
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: He just asked you a simple question. All you have
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: to do is say, now, what the hell you talking about?
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: But she didn't, she swore, she said, then she just
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: you kept staying on her, pressed her, and then come
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: to find out, you pulled the truth out of her.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: She said, the man has stayed in your house every times.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: He stayed there all the way up till the morning
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: once she swore he.
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: Never been in our bed and they never had sex.
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: I'm not buying it, and I don't want to work
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: on my marriage anymore. Okay, cool, So what's the letter for.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: I'm not buying it. I don't believe it. You thought
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: she was lying, you know when she said that he
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: delivered a dress over to the house.
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: You called out on that, just like I'm calling you
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: out on that emotional affair you had. So I think
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: all y'all lying. Yeah, Now you just want to beat
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: her to the punch. I don't want to work on
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: our marriage anymore. Am I being a hypocrite for how
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: I react?
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: Because you and the reason you put that in a letter,
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: because you know what you said up top wasn't true.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: It was not any emotional affair. You had an affair
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: with this woman.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: They were doing more.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Yeah, if she cheated, should I throw her out with
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: the mattress? Then you can't throw nobody out. That ain't
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: how this work.
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: That y'all are two old people that don't need to
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: be cheat. And I tell you number one reason why
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: y'all don't need to cheat, because y'all don't know how
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: to lie and make your sweat and stomach curt That
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: is you.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Do you lie for.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: It's not the number one reason not to cheat.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: That is the number one reason. You cannot lie and
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: have symptoms.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: It just is not how this works, doesn't.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Oh, you can't have symptoms when you lie. Stomach hurting.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: Now you need some pepto bismol because just because you
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: told him lie, what is your sweating fault? See you're
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: the person we cannot put you in the interrogation room.
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: Both of y'all cracked. You went home.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: He called your wife, told her that y'all had an affair.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: You couldn't even get out of that. You moved here
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: with your brother and sister. Now you beg beg your
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: way back over there. And then your brother say, hey,
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: I think she been sleeping with George Jefferson on the cleaners.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: I called up found out she was with wheezy husband.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: Now the dude that owned the cleaners. Ain't nobody saying this,
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: but he married too? Oh wow, ain't no single own
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: no cleaners?
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Who who you? No single on a cleaner?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I don't know anyone but George Jefferson who owns a cleaner.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: That's all I know. And he was a fictitious character.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: It was not real, Jefferson Real.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Boats.

- 1:11:21Speaker 12: Some of it.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: Number one went a zz Food out of Yukon. She
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: went to Dallas Wings. They had the number one pick,
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: but my girl flawed. J Johnson out of LSU went
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: to Golden State.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: That was one. But U C l A had a
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: run for a second.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: They was drafted four five and six. Lauren Betts.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: She went to Washington.
- 1:11:40Speaker 17: Uh.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: Then you had Gabriel jack Quez and then Key Key Rice.
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: They all went four five and six. If you win
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: a national championship, you're gonna get drafted.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: That's what that means.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you win a national championship, You're getting drafted four
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: five and six.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: That's big.
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: So wait, Junior, So my girl from LSU didn't she
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: get traded right after she got drafted?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: I didn't think so. I think she went to Golden State.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Oh okay, yes, something happened or trade?
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: Well, let me ask you this question. Was there a
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: trade in the first round? He didn't see that part.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: I didn't see that part.
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: I didn't know where she went.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Well, excuse us, we're just asking you do sports. We
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: just asked.
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: Column made a comment that's really legit. We're just asking
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: us all, not challenging, just asking.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: Well, also after that, did you see Doc Rivers is
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: out at the head coach for mil Quaukey.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Did you see that? I was at work during the
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: all activities changed. Now Junior out at work.
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: So I didn't get to see stop Rivers is out
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: as the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks after three years.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: Now they're gonna think about it if Yannis is gonna
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: stay in. He's not staying why not? Why because it's Milwaukee?
- 1:12:53Speaker 13: What you mean?
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Why not.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Because it's mill Walker.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: But Junior, the whole thing last year was him getting
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: traded at the end of the year.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: They didn't want him to play because they didn't want
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: him to get injured again and lose his value for
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: the set up to trade.
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: So he so he don't need to stand. Said he
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: too big for Milwaukee. That's what you just said, though
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: I just.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: Said he's too big in New York. Dog he's the
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: Greek freak dog this students. He's right now one of
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: the top three basketball players in the.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: League when he coming to Houston. But what the hell
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: you get that from? But minute ago you said you
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: ain't know he was getting boy.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Thank you for sports. Talking of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Show right after this, and she did get tried to Junior.
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: She did, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: This is from Candy from Steve Harvey FM. Candy says,
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: there's a guy I go out with regularly, and we've
- 1:14:19Speaker 10: gotten to know each other a bit, and I do
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: like him, just not in a romantic way. The problem
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: is he clearly wants more and keeps showing up, trying
- 1:14:29Speaker 10: to spend time together and pushing things in that direction,
- 1:14:33Speaker 10: even though I've tried to keep it casual. He's polite
- 1:14:36Speaker 10: and genuinely nice, which makes it harder because I don't
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: want to hurt him or push him completely out of
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: my life. At the same time, it's starting to feel
- 1:14:46Speaker 10: like my subtle hints aren't landing, and I'm getting uncomfortable.
- 1:14:49Speaker 10: I'd be happy keep keeping things at a light, friendly level,
- 1:14:54Speaker 10: or even a bit less, but that's not what he
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: seems to want. Here's her question. Is there a way
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: to reset without being mean or shutting him out entirely?
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: No, No, it isn't so what I did, it's what
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: he wants. He don't want to be your friend.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: She doesn't want to hurt him, though.
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: Well that's what you're gonna have to do, because as
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: long as you're nice, well he gonna think he got
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: a chance regardless, So she should just be a bee,
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: just sit down and have a conversation and listen. I
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: really really like you, but I just like you as
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: a friend. I'm not I'm not down. I don't I
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: don't have any romantic feelings towards you, and I think
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: that you have so for me, and I don't want.
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: I don't want you to let him go too far
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: and I can't reciprocate it. So thank you, but no,
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: thank you, And then get ready because he coming, he's
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: gonna keep coming or more.
- 1:15:51Speaker 10: And that her whole point is she doesn't want to
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: hurt him or crush him or be his feelings. Yeah
- 1:15:56Speaker 10: that's the rue.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well he's he's see his part.
- 1:15:59Speaker 13: We leave.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: No, he's not attractive?
- 1:16:03Speaker 17: Yes, yes, what.
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: Man?
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: Dude down without hurting him because he's nice and he's
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: really polite and he's so sweet.
- 1:16:14Speaker 10: What hell, let me ask you this, Steve you Tommy
- 1:16:18Speaker 10: is the one who always says he's cute and fine
- 1:16:20Speaker 10: and sexy and all that.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: You don't say that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: But see, Tommy has had these struggles his whole life.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: I remember, I've no struggles.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Tom ain't been able to get airy girl.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: He wanted asking so well, My point is no, no, no, no, Tommy,
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: one out of ten women, how many would you say
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: you've gotten out of one of every ten that you
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: shot at?
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: Three?
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Maybe three? There you go, that's what you don't make
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: me ugly? Yes, it does. Thirty you low, you low
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: number seven.
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: And Tommy, you guys never say you're attractive. You don't
- 1:16:59Speaker 10: say that. You always encourage com Tommy to come over
- 1:17:03Speaker 10: here with you. So has this ever happened to you?
- 1:17:06Speaker 10: That's my That's what I'm trying to get.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: You in the friend zone. You will put in the
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: friend zone from But I.
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: Kept coming though, I kept I kept shooting my shot.
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: He said, wow, did you asking them to ask you too?
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: And I've told you now, if we're talking to the
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: people that's in denial.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: As the ugliest one then.
- 1:17:30Speaker 13: As the ug.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Between who it's a competition, that's a cross on the
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: ugly street. Go ahead, you can just talk to there
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: and the right rank us one to three? Who the ugliest?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Well, you're the finest. Okay, let's be please on the stand.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Let's be clear.
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: Nobody's sexier on this show than you are. Nobody taller,
- 1:18:00Speaker 10: nobody finer, funnier, none of that. In that part, Ya
- 1:18:08Speaker 10: five on the zoom, Carlo Ye.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Got them zero? All right between you two? So you're
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: fighting for number two. I think Junior has the better
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: attitude about it, did you?
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I think ju So it's Steve Junior, Tommy.
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: Yeah, and a hard slide into third, fighting, kicking the
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: whole way.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: Man, just chugging over here. I'm not coming, I'm.
- 1:18:43Speaker 16: Not all right.
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:18:49Speaker 10: Show with fine Steve.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Harvey right after that. You are right, you're listening to
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:00Speaker 10: The government says inflation is running at three point three
- 1:19:04Speaker 10: percent compared to compare with a year ago, and up
- 1:19:07Speaker 10: from two point four percent in February, just February. The
- 1:19:11Speaker 10: increase comes at a difficult moment for the economy and
- 1:19:14Speaker 10: puts the Federal Reserve in a bind whether to keep
- 1:19:18Speaker 10: interest rates high to fight inflation or lower them to
- 1:19:22Speaker 10: support slowing growth.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: The spike was fueled by soaring energy costs.
- 1:19:26Speaker 10: After the war with Iran disrupted oil shipments through the
- 1:19:30Speaker 10: Strait of her Moves, a key route, of course, for
- 1:19:32Speaker 10: a one fifth of the world's oil and natural gas.
- 1:19:36Speaker 10: Gasoline prices in the US have climbed to more than
- 1:19:39Speaker 10: four dollars a gallon on average, up of over a
- 1:19:43Speaker 10: dollar since the fighting began.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: That's a lot, lot y.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, your thoughts, Yeah, that is a whole lot.
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: I mean, look, however, we want to look at this. Yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: you voted for your president based on the promises he made.
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: That's what you voted for. And you voted for your
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: president because a lot of people just couldn't see Kamala
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: hass as president. Okay, So whatever you reason, that's what
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: you But you voted based on his promises, his policies,
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: and the things he said he do. He's done none
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: of those things. Prices are not down. Everything is higher, yes,
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: inflation is higher. Yes, it's all higher. So that's your
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: man that's who you voted for, So all.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Right, thank you guys. Coming up, we'll play around him.

- 1:25:47Speaker 6: Just text me some random thoughts to maybe pick at,
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: you know. I was just wondering out so many things.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: Fraternities have been on the internet a lot lately in
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: that people coming out talking about it's a false idolatry
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: and they're worshiping fake gods.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: I don't know what they're talking about.
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: That's not the experience I've ever had in worshiping anything
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: except my God, my Lord and Savior. I've never worshiped
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: anything else. I don't And a group of men that
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: I still associate with from the frat that that's not
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: what we are. Two of the men that I hang
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: out with on the regular is ministers themselves. I just
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: don't know what it's from. Now, you can take anything
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: and phrase it how you want to phrase it. If
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: you don't want to be in a frat, don't be
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: in it. But you know, and all these preachers that's
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: picking the poolpit as an opportunity to take advantage of this.
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know where you're coming from, because
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: if you're not in, you don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: And if you, any of you become disillusioned, then.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: That's just you. That's not all frats, that's not all sororities.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: And I just disagree with it. I just really highly
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: disagree with you know, So I just wanted to say
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: that about that. Whoever you are.
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: If you got a problem with it, man, that's you.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: If you don't want to be in it, just don't
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: be in it. You know, I don't know what you're
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: bad mouthing it for, you know, because that's not the
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: case with all of them. That's not the experience that
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: the majority of people I know in the Divine Nine
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: they that's not the experience they've had. I'll tell you
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: one thing. I wouldn't trade a group of friends that
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: I got for no amount of money.
- 1:27:28Speaker 8: Man.
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: I've developed some friendship with these brothers man, that's been
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: when they say friendship is essential to the soul, it
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: really is a good thing. And that's what I found
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: to be true about O make us not fine now?
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: And I can tell you I know some good alphas,
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: I know some great noops, I know some great sigmas.
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: I know some great men, man, And I never talked
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: to them about idly worshiping some other god or nothing
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: like that. I've just never heard that. I don't know
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: what's coming from all of a sudden, So that's just
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: my stake on it. We're just doing some random thoughts,
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: that's all it is. I wanted to talk a moment
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: about this administration that we have. I don't care who
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: you are and who you voted for at one point
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: in time, Man, you have to get rid of the
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: bs and look at it for what it is. If
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: you think this man is a great leader, okay, you
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: can think that, but why and just show me why?
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: Show me what he's done. That's so great because I
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: can show you so many mistakes, so many bad things
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: that he's done and said, don't lose your decency just
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: because he don't have none. How did that become it?
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: And the part I don't like about this election. Man,
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: is just said. I knew America was corrupt. I've always
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: known that. I've always known it as a racist element.
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: I just didn't know it was this deep, this big,
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: and it just allowed for everybody to all of a
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: sudden have an opinion about it. You know, people, they
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: it just allowed bigotry and racism to rear his ugly head.
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: And it's more of that of late than it's ever
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: been before. And I would just expect more from the
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: president of the United States, and you should too, And
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: you should expect more from the President of the United States.
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: And to sit up here and accept less because what
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: because he is less? Or because he has no more
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: decency to give?
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: So you accept it? Ah, man, I'm not doing that now.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: If you want to talk about following a false God,
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: why are you following him? What has he done that
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: shows you? And then all this talk about God send him,
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: No he didn't. Everything that happened in this world ain't
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: sent by God. God's voice has no sin in it.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: And every time he opened his mouth eyes that's all
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: I hear. So you know, I just wanted to say
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: that too.
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: Gas prices are higher the price some groceries are higher,
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: the cost of living is higher, inflation is higher, and
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: we are in a war that we don't even need
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: to be in. And you can justify it now by saying, well,
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: we're over there because we try to keep our red
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: from having a nuclear weapon. I thought, last Junie, you
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: destroyed all that. Stop making up this thing as we go.
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: Stop urinating on me and tell me that it's raining,
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: because I just don't I don't understand how you can
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: let somebody do that to you. So it's just a
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: number of things I wanted to just kind of talk about.
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: And so I'm just look, man, to me, if I
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: was a good person before this administration got in there,
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: I would remain a good person. I'm not going to
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: let the views or the policies of an administration change
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: the person that I am, or change my expectations. I
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: would not take any of my grandchildren that point at
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: that White House and say this is what you have
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: to be in order to be successful. This is the
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: type of man you should aspire to be. I just
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: don't see that as an example. And if you do, man,
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: I mean congratulations. I just don't see that as the case.
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: So just some stuff I was thinking today, no particular order, nothing,
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: just felt like getting it off my chest today. Hope
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: y'all have a great day to day. Talk to God today.
- 1:31:28Speaker 6: I'd absolutely love to.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: Hear from you and close it.
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: Stay decent, man, Stay decent. You know what decency is.
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: Don't let nobody change your mind about that. Stay decent.
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: I don't care who in the White House. Stay decent.
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: And one last thought, if Obama had done any of this,
- 1:31:51Speaker 6: any of it, how you think this would go? Y'all
- 1:31:55Speaker 6: have a great day to day.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: Peace out.
