- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Center, Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you and Senator. We had a really big day of
- 0:07Speaker 2: rallies around the country over the weekend. Apparently Democrats are
- 0:10Speaker 2: just writ in big old checks right now to go
- 0:12Speaker 2: back to their old school organizing for these outrage rallies
- 0:16Speaker 2: at a king by the name of Donald Trump, who's
- 0:19Speaker 2: been in office many less years than any of the
- 0:22Speaker 2: Democrats that they're out there complaining about him being in office.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Well, this weekend we saw protests all across the country
- 0:30Speaker 3: that was angry white women go march. It was boomers unleashed,
- 0:36Speaker 3: and it was an expression of rage. What we're going
- 0:38Speaker 3: to talk about here is follow the money who's paying
- 0:41Speaker 3: for this? That not only was this an expression of rage,
- 0:44Speaker 3: but it was an expressive expression of rage that was
- 0:46Speaker 3: AstroTurf that was bought and paid for. And we're going
- 0:49Speaker 3: to follow the money to George Soros and his network
- 0:52Speaker 3: and an entire interconnected network of radical left wing groups
- 0:59Speaker 3: that we're funding these tests. We're also going to talk
- 1:01Speaker 3: about a tragedy that has been unfolding in recent years
- 1:04Speaker 3: in the country of Nigeria, where more than fifty thousand
- 1:07Speaker 3: Christians have been killed. The mass murder of Christians in
- 1:11Speaker 3: Nigeria has been ongoing. It is targeted, it is systematic.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Boko Haram and other jihadis are targeting Christians, are targeting churches,
- 1:21Speaker 3: are targeting schools. We're going to lay out the facts
- 1:25Speaker 3: of what's going on the Government of Nigeria is pressing
- 1:27Speaker 3: back and saying nothing to see here, nothing to see here.
- 1:30Speaker 3: We're going to give you the facts and we're going
- 1:32Speaker 3: to talk about legislation I've introduced to hold the government
- 1:35Speaker 3: of Nigeria accountable and to pressure them to finally, finally,
- 1:40Speaker 3: finally stop the mass murder of Christians.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Amen to that.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Whant I take a moment and talk to you real
- 1:45Speaker 2: quick about my good friends over at Berna. Being able
- 1:48Speaker 2: to protect my family is so important to me, and
- 1:50Speaker 2: it's one of the things that I want you to
- 1:52Speaker 2: know about how you can help protect your family as
- 1:55Speaker 2: well from those that may be trying to do you harm. Now,
- 1:59Speaker 2: for weeks, I've been joined by Josh from Burna to
- 2:02Speaker 2: share stories of how people just like you and me
- 2:05Speaker 2: have used their Burno launcher protect themselves and their families. Now,
- 2:09Speaker 2: Burna is a handheld pistol that fires both connect grounds
- 2:13Speaker 2: and chemical irritants to separate you from an attacker. Josh
- 2:17Speaker 2: just back today to share a true story of how
- 2:19Speaker 2: a man was able to stop two pit bulls from
- 2:22Speaker 2: harming him and his daughter using the Berna SD.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Josh tell us the story.
- 2:27Speaker 4: You know this story is great because I guarantee many
- 2:29Speaker 4: people have been in a very similar situation. So Kyle,
- 2:33Speaker 4: an Illinois resident, was walking his young daughter home from
- 2:36Speaker 4: a playdate just down the street from their house when
- 2:38Speaker 4: he noticed two unleashed pit bulls running down an alley
- 2:41Speaker 4: aggressively charging right at them. He quickly lifted his daughter
- 2:45Speaker 4: over a fence of a yard to put her in
- 2:47Speaker 4: a safe place, and drew the Burna SD that he
- 2:50Speaker 4: was actually carrying on him, and using a combination of
- 2:53Speaker 4: kinetic and our Max fridge styles, Kyle fired five rounds
- 2:56Speaker 4: of the two pitbules, striking both the ground in front
- 2:58Speaker 4: of them, but also the dog themselves. The dogs stopped
- 3:02Speaker 4: in their tracks. The rounds had an immediate effect, and
- 3:05Speaker 4: both dogs quickly ran the other way. The entire incident
- 3:09Speaker 4: was also captured on home surveillance video, allowing everyone to
- 3:12Speaker 4: watch exactly how Berna kept Kyle and his daughter out
- 3:15Speaker 4: of harm's way.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Now, look, obviously the burner worked great in this case,
- 3:19Speaker 2: But why wouldn't someone choose to use a gun in
- 3:21Speaker 2: this case instead of a burna?
- 3:23Speaker 1: So many people ask me that type of question.
- 3:25Speaker 4: You know, it's same I get to ask that all
- 3:27Speaker 4: the time. And here we have a couple different reasons. One,
- 3:29Speaker 4: he may not be in an area where he could
- 3:31Speaker 4: carry a gun. Depending on the laws of your state,
- 3:34Speaker 4: it may limit where you can and can't carry a gun.
- 3:36Speaker 4: And two, look, nobody wants to kill these dogs, right,
- 3:39Speaker 4: nobody wants to kill anybody but dogs either. If we
- 3:41Speaker 4: can use a lower level of force to affect a
- 3:44Speaker 4: safe getaway for us and everyone else, man, that's the
- 3:47Speaker 4: way to do it. And that's exactly what happened here.
- 3:49Speaker 2: If you want to be able to protect your family
- 3:51Speaker 2: and you want to have something like this, a left
- 3:53Speaker 2: lethal option, you need to check out Berna. You can
- 3:56Speaker 2: go right now to burna b y r ina dot com. Again,
- 4:00Speaker 2: that's burnap B why rna dot com. You'll understand after
- 4:04Speaker 2: you see the videos exactly why I carry this in
- 4:06Speaker 2: every car.
- 4:06Speaker 1: We have burnup b why RNA dot com? All Right, senator.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So let's get into this day of I call it rage,
- 4:15Speaker 2: this anti American day, this no king's day. There was
- 4:19Speaker 2: something that hit online and it just made me smile
- 4:23Speaker 2: because it said, all right, so let me get this straight.
- 4:26Speaker 2: There's no kings referring to Donald Trump. Chuck Grassley's been
- 4:30Speaker 2: in office fifty plus years, Chuck Schumer forty four plus years,
- 4:33Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell forty plus years, Anti Pelosi thirty eight years,
- 4:36Speaker 2: Maxine Waters thirty seven years, Bernie Sanders thirty four years.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Trump's been in office total of four years at nine
- 4:42Speaker 2: and a half months. But somehow they're saying Donald Trump
- 4:45Speaker 2: is the king. When you look at the numbers there,
- 4:47Speaker 2: and that's like some bipartus numbers. It's pretty darn funny.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Well it is.
- 4:51Speaker 3: And there was this little minor detail of an election
- 4:54Speaker 3: that occurred in November in which the American people overwhelmingly
- 4:58Speaker 3: voted to reelect Donald Trump ump very quickly, Look, you're
- 5:03Speaker 3: trying to engage in reason, ben reason is not welcome
- 5:06Speaker 3: on the radical left anymore.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Then I forgot about that memory.
- 5:09Speaker 3: This is emoting, this is rage, this is orange man bad.
- 5:14Speaker 3: There's nothing more beyond that. And by the way, this
- 5:18Speaker 3: is also voters bad, you know, the irony of no
- 5:20Speaker 3: Kings that they're suggesting that they're somehow fans of democracy.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Understand.
- 5:25Speaker 3: These are the same radical left wing democrats that indicted
- 5:29Speaker 3: Donald Trump not once, not twice, not three times, but
- 5:31Speaker 3: four times in an effort to stop the voters from
- 5:36Speaker 3: re electing him. These are the same left wing radicals
- 5:39Speaker 3: who then went to left wing judges and in multiple jurisdictions,
- 5:43Speaker 3: including Colorado, Illinois, Maine, they're left wing radicals ruled they
- 5:50Speaker 3: would remove Donald Trump's name from the ballot because nothing
- 5:53Speaker 3: says you are a defender of democracy like making it
- 5:56Speaker 3: impossible for the voters to vote for your opponent. Now, thankfully,
- 6:00Speaker 3: the US Supreme Court came in unanimously nine zero and said, no, no, no, sorry,
- 6:06Speaker 3: you don't get to rig an election by removing your opponent,
- 6:10Speaker 3: the Republican nominee for president, from the ballot. And wonder
- 6:14Speaker 3: of wonders, with Trump on the ballot, the voters voted
- 6:17Speaker 3: for him. That this is actually, you know, in some ways,
- 6:21Speaker 3: the left had some truth in advertising. They just had
- 6:24Speaker 3: one too many words that they call this the No
- 6:27Speaker 3: King's rally. What they really want to want to protest
- 6:30Speaker 3: is the king's rally. Look, when Joe Biden was president,
- 6:33Speaker 3: they wanted him to have unlimited power. And by the way,
- 6:37Speaker 3: once they realized that Joe Biden had been legally dead
- 6:40Speaker 3: for three years and that he was not going to
- 6:41Speaker 3: be a formidable candidate in November, they promptly defenestrated him,
- 6:45Speaker 3: threw him out a window, grabbed Kamala Harris and congratulations,
- 6:49Speaker 3: you're the Democrat nominee. And you know what detail, They
- 6:51Speaker 3: skipped the whole voting thing, Like the Democrat primary voters
- 6:54Speaker 3: didn't get to vote at all. They basically tried to
- 6:57Speaker 3: make her a queen. You know, when you coroinate someone,
- 7:00Speaker 3: when you put a crown on someone and say, don't
- 7:03Speaker 3: bother with the little voting stuff. We've decided you get
- 7:06Speaker 3: to run. That is kind of right at the heart
- 7:09Speaker 3: of monarchy. So this their messaging is incoherent, but at
- 7:14Speaker 3: the end of the day, there is no messaging other
- 7:18Speaker 3: than a primal scream they hate Trump. And look, it's
- 7:22Speaker 3: a good thing they did these rallies because you know,
- 7:24Speaker 3: prior to Saturday, I didn't know they hated Trump. I
- 7:27Speaker 3: really I had missed that the last ten months, and
- 7:30Speaker 3: so it really took seeing a bunch of seventy five
- 7:34Speaker 3: year old white liberal women screaming outside and dyeing their
- 7:39Speaker 3: hair pink. You know, without that, we would have had
- 7:42Speaker 3: no idea that the far left did not like President Trump.
- 7:45Speaker 2: You know, one thing that was interesting about these rallies
- 7:48Speaker 2: is the way that the media covered it. It was
- 7:51Speaker 2: before the rallies happened, they were already making these things
- 7:55Speaker 2: a success and say, yeah, we're expecting millions to gather
- 7:59Speaker 2: across the country. Then as it was happening, I was
- 8:03Speaker 2: flipping the channels in between watching what's really important, and
- 8:06Speaker 2: that was college football over the weekend. During during a
- 8:09Speaker 2: couple of moments, I checked over to see how they
- 8:11Speaker 2: were covering, and it was like millions gather. I'm sorry, Center,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I did not see millions as in plural, anywhere close
- 8:19Speaker 2: to that. Yeah, there were some bigger crowds for sure,
- 8:22Speaker 2: New York City for example, Chicago.
- 8:25Speaker 1: It was not millions.
- 8:26Speaker 2: And yet they already act like this was just some amazing,
- 8:29Speaker 2: unpresced success. Meanwhile, the average American was watching football on Saturday.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Well, and I do have to express my condolences. I'm
- 8:36Speaker 3: very sorry about old miss and George, I knew.
- 8:39Speaker 1: You were waiting for this show to I didn't talk
- 8:42Speaker 1: about that.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Look, I knew that that that that hurt. But look,
- 8:47Speaker 3: you can you can gain solace because even though Old
- 8:51Speaker 3: Miss lost to Georgia, an Old Miss Royalty prevailed because
- 8:56Speaker 3: Arch Manning and the Longhorns won. Although I got admit
- 8:59Speaker 3: it was an glee game.
- 9:01Speaker 1: At least there's some intellectual honesty.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And the Aggies keep on winning. And I was I
- 9:06Speaker 3: was sad that the Tech finally lost. There's still a
- 9:09Speaker 3: heck of a team. But but, but but I'm very
- 9:11Speaker 3: sorry about Ole Miss.
- 9:12Speaker 1: The grin right now in your face.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Is this unbelievably telling, unbelievably telling of your thoughts and prayers,
- 9:21Speaker 2: Now that you got that moment out of the way, Yeah,
- 9:24Speaker 2: I'm glad that was his moment. He's been waiting all
- 9:26Speaker 2: week and he was silent. He didn't text me on Saturday.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I want the audience to understand that he was waiting
- 9:31Speaker 2: for the show to bring that up. So let's talk
- 9:34Speaker 2: about the money here for a second. This is clearly.
- 9:37Speaker 3: By the way, I will say what One of my
- 9:39Speaker 3: closest friends, Gray, as you know, played played football at
- 9:42Speaker 3: Arkansas Yeah, Arkansas came within inches of beating the Aggies,
- 9:46Speaker 3: and my phone would have lit up the grief he
- 9:50Speaker 3: would have given me. Uh And to be fair, Arkansas
- 9:53Speaker 3: almost did beat the Aggies.
- 9:54Speaker 5: I mean it.
- 9:56Speaker 4: You know.
- 9:56Speaker 3: The A and m Arkansas game reminded me a little
- 9:58Speaker 3: bit of the A and M Notre Dame game, where
- 10:00Speaker 3: neither side bothered to bring defense.
- 10:02Speaker 1: They just scored like crazy.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And whoever had the ball last one?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah it was it was. It was aired out football
- 10:07Speaker 2: one oh one. So you look at the money here,
- 10:10Speaker 2: and I wasn't concerned. I did TV over the weekend
- 10:14Speaker 2: on No Kings, and they asked me like, you know, well,
- 10:16Speaker 2: this seems to be momentum. Like, it's not momentum if
- 10:19Speaker 2: you're paying for it. This isn't authentic or organic. It
- 10:23Speaker 2: is bought and paid for. If I gotten by a
- 10:25Speaker 2: bunch of ads this weekend to play for whatever my
- 10:28Speaker 2: thing is, you know that I want to advocate for it.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Does that mean there's actual authentic momentum behind it? Or
- 10:33Speaker 2: does that just mean that I paid for something like this?
- 10:37Speaker 2: To me is paid to play politics. I'm not concerned
- 10:40Speaker 2: about quote momentum. I do think, however, those that were
- 10:44Speaker 2: organizing and paying for this No King's rally, are holding
- 10:47Speaker 2: America hostage with the government shutdown. If there's any takeaway
- 10:50Speaker 2: for me, it's that that Democrats could not open the
- 10:53Speaker 2: government back up until after the No Kings rally took place.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Now this week they may actually be able to do
- 10:58Speaker 2: their damn job well.
- 11:00Speaker 3: And this past week I went on Fox News and said,
- 11:03Speaker 3: there's clear evidence that George Soros and his network is
- 11:06Speaker 3: paying for these No Kings rallies. And I have to say,
- 11:10Speaker 3: lefty activists on Twitter went crazy and said, there's no
- 11:12Speaker 3: evidence of that. What's cruse talking about. Well, you know,
- 11:15Speaker 3: fortunately we brought the receipts. So so let me let
- 11:18Speaker 3: me walk through. And in fact, if you want to
- 11:20Speaker 3: read it, Fox News has has a story entitled quote
- 11:25Speaker 3: Soros Foundation's helping fund anti Trump No King's protests nationwide.
- 11:30Speaker 3: So and and and and here here are the facts.
- 11:34Speaker 3: In two thousand and three, the Open Society Foundation, which
- 11:39Speaker 3: was founded by George Soros, UH issued a two year
- 11:44Speaker 3: grant of three million dollars to Indivisible. The grant was
- 11:50Speaker 3: quote to support the grantees social welfare activities. According to
- 11:55Speaker 3: the Open Society Foundation's website. What is individual able doing
- 12:01Speaker 3: it is quote managing data and communication with participants, I e.
- 12:06Speaker 3: AstroTurf for the No King's protests that will be taking
- 12:09Speaker 3: place in Washington and across the country. According to the
- 12:14Speaker 3: Open Society Foundation's website, George Soros has given away How
- 12:21Speaker 3: much do you think George Soros has given to the
- 12:23Speaker 3: Open Society Foundations?
- 12:25Speaker 2: I mean, it's sorrows, It's gonna be millions. It could
- 12:27Speaker 2: easily be tens of.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Millions, more than thirty two billion dollars. Wow, okay, more
- 12:35Speaker 3: than thirty two billion with a B golly, And and
- 12:42Speaker 3: if you look at that that they in turn are
- 12:45Speaker 3: funding Indivisible and Indivisible U is organizing or help or
- 12:51Speaker 3: helping organize the No Kings Foundations. By the way, the
- 12:56Speaker 3: Left has these these inner woven dark money organization. So,
- 13:00Speaker 3: for example, in twenty seventeen, Visible received a three hundred
- 13:04Speaker 3: and fifty thousand dollars grant from the Tides Foundation. From
- 13:08Speaker 3: Tides Advocacy, which is a group affiliated with the Tides Network.
- 13:11Speaker 3: The Tides Foundation, which is also affiliated with the Tides Network,
- 13:17Speaker 3: has been funding anti Israel campus riots. The grant report
- 13:24Speaker 3: for twenty twenty four for the Open Siety Foundation was
- 13:27Speaker 3: not not available, but Soros's Foundation of awarded grants to
- 13:32Speaker 3: Indivisible every single year since since individual was created in
- 13:36Speaker 3: twenty seventeen. In total, the Open Society Foundations have awarded
- 13:42Speaker 3: seven point sixty one million in grants to the group
- 13:44Speaker 3: behind the No King's protest. So seven point sixty one million,
- 13:50Speaker 3: that's where the money's coming from. So if you're surprised
- 13:53Speaker 3: there's a lot of organizing, Well, it turns out that
- 13:57Speaker 3: deranged Trump, hating America hating radical socialist, Marxist, anarchist, a
- 14:04Speaker 3: police abolishing nutcase billionaires can fund what looks like an
- 14:11Speaker 3: awful lot of action. I got to say, given all
- 14:13Speaker 3: that cash, what is striking to me, Ben is how
- 14:17Speaker 3: lame the result was. Like, like I got to say,
- 14:20Speaker 3: to be honest, I didn't spend a whole lot of
- 14:21Speaker 3: time watching footage of it. But the footage I saw,
- 14:25Speaker 3: you know what was missing any black people, any Hispanic people.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Maybe every video like non minorities welcome, right? Could that
- 14:36Speaker 1: be it?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Look?
- 14:36Speaker 3: Look every video I saw it was a bunch of
- 14:39Speaker 3: old white liberals. It was like, you know, it was
- 14:44Speaker 3: like a a Patagonia convention with lots of prune juice.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I mean, it was really the numbers were underwhelming. You
- 14:55Speaker 3: knew the numbers were underwhelming when you started to see
- 14:59Speaker 3: on Twitter are people sending fake videos of protests in
- 15:03Speaker 3: prior years and claiming, oh, this is the no Kings turnout.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and that did happen a lot, by the way.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I mean, you're not joking when you say that. I
- 15:11Speaker 2: saw quite a few of those and it just made
- 15:13Speaker 2: you laugh.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a video of a big protest in Boston
- 15:17Speaker 3: years ago that has been tweeted around like crazy, and
- 15:20Speaker 3: they say, oh, this was no Kings in Boston. It's like, no, Well,
- 15:23Speaker 3: why are you sending around a fake video? Because even
- 15:27Speaker 3: when you have millions of dollars from George Soros, apparently
- 15:30Speaker 3: the people motivated by the way, this is very much
- 15:32Speaker 3: the same pattern.
- 15:33Speaker 4: As you know.
- 15:34Speaker 3: They did a dry run for this with the protests
- 15:37Speaker 3: in d C against President Trump sending in the National Guard.
- 15:40Speaker 3: And again, those protests were a bunch of white liberals.
- 15:45Speaker 3: There were very few in the video. I saw very
- 15:49Speaker 3: few African Americans who and the high crime areas in
- 15:53Speaker 3: d C are predominantly African American, and it was really striking.
- 15:57Speaker 3: You see these sort of wealthy liberal many that government
- 16:00Speaker 3: bureaucrats who are saying, no, no, get the National Guard
- 16:04Speaker 3: out of DC. And then if camera crews that would
- 16:07Speaker 3: go into high crime areas in d C, you'd look
- 16:10Speaker 3: at the people living there, predominantly African American, facing gang
- 16:14Speaker 3: bangers and drive by shootings and facing being afraid to
- 16:17Speaker 3: go out at night. And there's interview after interview with
- 16:20Speaker 3: DC residents who are like, Okay, I feel a lot safer.
- 16:22Speaker 1: This is great.
- 16:24Speaker 3: But by the way, your hometown of Memphis, you got
- 16:26Speaker 3: the same interviews where people are saying, you know, for
- 16:28Speaker 3: the first time in a long time, I feel safe
- 16:31Speaker 3: to go outside. I can go outside with my kids.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I'm not afraid of my kids getting shot or attacked
- 16:36Speaker 3: or even Bill.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Street, which is the famous street in Memphis, you know
- 16:39Speaker 2: where you can go listen to a live music and
- 16:41Speaker 2: it's downtown by the Facts Forum, I know, people have
- 16:43Speaker 2: not gone down there five six, seven, eight, nine, ten years.
- 16:46Speaker 2: They're now going down there because they've it's been so
- 16:48Speaker 2: unsafe and the National Guard's there, and now citizens of
- 16:52Speaker 2: Memphis are actually getting to go enjoy their own city again,
- 16:55Speaker 2: which is exactly what we've seen in Washington, d C.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's amazing that the bosition of the Democrat
- 17:01Speaker 3: Party as they are against law and order. Apparently having
- 17:04Speaker 3: law and order means you have a king. That they
- 17:07Speaker 3: are against criminals being arrested. Apparently that's the act of
- 17:10Speaker 3: a king. That they are against violent criminals being incarcerated,
- 17:16Speaker 3: taken off the streets, and they are against our families
- 17:19Speaker 3: being protected. You know, I got to say, people who
- 17:21Speaker 3: are not political radicals find all of that common sense
- 17:26Speaker 3: that that's not a particularly right wing proposition that that
- 17:29Speaker 3: that violent criminals. You know, I'll tell a story Ben,
- 17:34Speaker 3: when I was a brand new baby lawyer back in
- 17:38Speaker 3: I think nineteen ninety seven, I just finished clerking for
- 17:42Speaker 3: Chief Justice Renquist. I just started practicing law at a little
- 17:45Speaker 3: law firm in DC, and there was a show on
- 17:49Speaker 3: PBS that was called Debates, Debates, and it was it
- 17:55Speaker 3: was a three on three debate for an hour, and
- 17:57Speaker 3: they would they would take a particular topic and get
- 18:00Speaker 3: three conservatives, three liberals, and you debate for an hour.
- 18:03Speaker 3: And it was it was produced by a guy named
- 18:05Speaker 3: Warren Steibel, who was also the producer of Firing Line
- 18:08Speaker 3: with Bill Buckley, and I got a call from someone
- 18:12Speaker 3: from a friend of mine who said, Hey, they're looking
- 18:14Speaker 3: for someone to go on the show. Do you want
- 18:16Speaker 3: to do this? And it ended up being the first
- 18:18Speaker 3: TV show I ever went on, you know, right at
- 18:21Speaker 3: the start of my legal career, and the topic was
- 18:26Speaker 3: should we release should we grant amnesty? To quote America's
- 18:30Speaker 3: political prisoners, and by that they meant cop killers and
- 18:35Speaker 3: other radical left wingers who were incarcerated. But they claimed
- 18:39Speaker 3: they were political prisoners because they had an ideology and
- 18:42Speaker 3: they were having a hard time finding conservatives to debate
- 18:45Speaker 3: the conservative side of it. And I remember I got
- 18:47Speaker 3: the phone call ask if I would do it, and
- 18:49Speaker 3: I started laughing and I said, okay, so let me
- 18:51Speaker 3: get this straight. You want me to defend the proposition
- 18:56Speaker 3: that violent criminals should be punished. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 19:02Speaker 3: feel good with that. I'm quite comfortable with that proposition.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Way to load the deck against me, right.
- 19:08Speaker 4: You know.
- 19:08Speaker 3: And look, to be clear, I don't care if they're
- 19:10Speaker 3: left wing or right wing or they don't have any
- 19:12Speaker 3: wings at all. If you commit acts of violence, you
- 19:15Speaker 3: should be arrested, you should be prosecuted, You should go
- 19:17Speaker 3: to jail and listen the question we asked at the
- 19:20Speaker 3: start of this show about following the money. Regular listeners
- 19:24Speaker 3: of the pod will know that is something that I'm
- 19:26Speaker 3: pressing both Pambondi and the Department of Justice and cash
- 19:29Speaker 3: PTEL and the FBI to do not just the money
- 19:32Speaker 3: behind the No Kings rallies, but also the money behind
- 19:36Speaker 3: the anti Semitic protest on college campuses, the money behind
- 19:38Speaker 3: the Black Lives Matter at Antifa riots all over the country,
- 19:42Speaker 3: the money behind the open border riots in Los Angeles
- 19:45Speaker 3: and other cities earlier this year. I think it is
- 19:49Speaker 3: likely all the same money. It is the same collection
- 19:52Speaker 3: of radicals. We are a combination of extreme leftists, Marxists,
- 19:57Speaker 3: jihadist anarchists, and I think George Soros is the granddaddy
- 20:02Speaker 3: of them all. But I've introduced legislation, and the legislation
- 20:08Speaker 3: is called the Stop Thunders Act. And what the Stop
- 20:10Speaker 3: Thunders Act would do is very simple. It simply adds
- 20:15Speaker 3: rioting to the list of predicate acts under RICO.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Now, what is RICO.
- 20:20Speaker 3: RICO is the Rocketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations Act, and
- 20:24Speaker 3: it is a tool that prosecutors use to go after
- 20:28Speaker 3: organized crime and is a very powerful prosecutorial tool. And
- 20:33Speaker 3: the value of RICO is that what you can do
- 20:35Speaker 3: is under RICO you can prove an organization. This is
- 20:38Speaker 3: used often for something like the mafia or say a
- 20:42Speaker 3: drug cartel, where you prove the existence of an organization
- 20:45Speaker 3: and that you're part of the organization, and then you
- 20:48Speaker 3: have to prove that you committed predicate acts and you
- 20:51Speaker 3: can be prosecuted under RICO and serve long jail time. Well,
- 20:55Speaker 3: the way the left right now is funding rioting as
- 20:59Speaker 3: they do do it through multiple different organizations that are
- 21:03Speaker 3: deliberately ignorant of what each other is doing, and I
- 21:06Speaker 3: think they're doing it to avoid accountability and liability. The
- 21:10Speaker 3: Stop Funders Act by adding rioting to the list of
- 21:13Speaker 3: predicate acts for RICO, would give prosecutors a heck of
- 21:17Speaker 3: a tool that if you're cutting the check that is
- 21:20Speaker 3: going to funding the rioting and rioters are engaged in
- 21:24Speaker 3: acts of violence. Rioters are on campus, assaulting Jewish students
- 21:29Speaker 3: in a public street, looting a store, firebombing a police car,
- 21:33Speaker 3: murdering someone, assaulting someone, that you the person who wrote
- 21:38Speaker 3: the check and funded the entire effort. You the one
- 21:41Speaker 3: who say on the college campuses paid for all of
- 21:44Speaker 3: the tents that look exactly the same. They all match.
- 21:47Speaker 3: You would face liability just like you would if you
- 21:51Speaker 3: were the one writing the check and funding the mafia
- 21:54Speaker 3: family or funding the drug cartel. And so I'm urging
- 21:59Speaker 3: Congress take up my stop funderzact pass it, and DOJ
- 22:03Speaker 3: needs to go after the money. If we cut off
- 22:05Speaker 3: the money with no checks, there would be no no
- 22:08Speaker 3: King's protests, not because people are prevented from speaking, but
- 22:13Speaker 3: because this sort of demonstration is not real and organic.
- 22:19Speaker 3: It is driven by a handful of left wing billionaires
- 22:24Speaker 3: who are using their money to buy the appearance of
- 22:29Speaker 3: something much broader.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Final question on this, how hard or how easy should
- 22:34Speaker 2: it be or will it be to get this pass
- 22:36Speaker 2: with Republican leadership. It doesn't seem like this would be
- 22:39Speaker 2: a hard thing to convince people to say, yeah, we
- 22:41Speaker 2: need to follow the money.
- 22:43Speaker 3: So look, I think it is easy to get Republican votes.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I think all or virtually all Republicans would vote for it.
- 22:49Speaker 3: The challenge to passing in the law will be the
- 22:52Speaker 3: Senate filibuster rule, which means to pass it we need
- 22:55Speaker 3: sixty votes in the Senate, which would mean we would
- 22:57Speaker 3: need at least seven Democrats fifty three Republicans. It's the
- 23:01Speaker 3: same challenge we have in the middle of the shutdown.
- 23:03Speaker 3: We need sixty votes. We need at least seven Democrats
- 23:06Speaker 3: to reopen the government, and right now the Democrats are
- 23:09Speaker 3: just no, no, hell no to everything. So I think
- 23:12Speaker 3: it is entirely possible and maybe even likely that if
- 23:16Speaker 3: we bring it up for a vote in the Senate
- 23:18Speaker 3: Judiciary Committee, that every Senate Democrat would vote no on
- 23:22Speaker 3: the committee. Now, if that happens, it would still be
- 23:25Speaker 3: voted out of committee, because if the Republicans all voted together,
- 23:27Speaker 3: we have a majority on the committee, and so if
- 23:29Speaker 3: we voted out of committee, it would go to the floor.
- 23:32Speaker 3: And what I'm merging Republican leadership to do is put
- 23:34Speaker 3: it up for a vote on the floor and listen.
- 23:37Speaker 3: If the Democrats all want to vote no, they can.
- 23:40Speaker 3: That prevents it from being passed. But I got to say,
- 23:42Speaker 3: that is a terrible vote. If you are voting against
- 23:46Speaker 3: liability for violent rioting, that is not a vote that
- 23:52Speaker 3: that is not a vote that any Democrat running in
- 23:55Speaker 3: a purple state wants to defend to his or her
- 23:58Speaker 3: constituents and so I think. I think either we take
- 24:01Speaker 3: it up and they decide to support it and we
- 24:02Speaker 3: pass it, or we take it up and they vote
- 24:05Speaker 3: party line against it, in which case those are terrible
- 24:07Speaker 3: votes and you campaign against them.
- 24:10Speaker 2: And I want to move now center to something that
- 24:13Speaker 2: you've been spearheading and leading on. It's certainly not getting
- 24:15Speaker 2: attention to the media, but you're wanting to hold Nigeria
- 24:19Speaker 2: accountable for the fifty thousand. Let me see that number again,
- 24:23Speaker 2: fifty thousand Christians that have been killed. There, explain why
- 24:29Speaker 2: this story is so important and what you're trying to do,
- 24:32Speaker 2: and also why is no one covering this?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Does this been described to me?
- 24:36Speaker 3: Look, it is truly horrific. The numbers are stunning. The
- 24:41Speaker 3: numbers are staggering. Here are the top line numbers of
- 24:45Speaker 3: what we're seeing. We have seen over fifty thousand Christians killed.
- 24:51Speaker 3: We have seen over eighteen thousand churches and at least
- 24:56Speaker 3: two thousand schools burned. And the response to this, the
- 25:04Speaker 3: Nigerian government is fighting back ferociously saying this is not happening,
- 25:09Speaker 3: this is not true.
- 25:10Speaker 1: There's a battle.
- 25:11Speaker 3: The Nigerian government officials are getting very angry that I'm
- 25:13Speaker 3: calling them out. I want to read to you from
- 25:17Speaker 3: the executive Summary of the US State Departments twenty twenty
- 25:21Speaker 3: four Country Report on Human Rights Practices in Nigeria, and
- 25:26Speaker 3: here's what it says.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Quote.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Significant human rights issues included credible reports of arbitrary and
- 25:32Speaker 3: unlawful killings, disappearances, torture or cruel inhuman or degrading treatment
- 25:39Speaker 3: or punishment, arbitrary arrested attention, serious abuses in a conflict,
- 25:46Speaker 3: serious restrictions on freedom of expression and media freedom, including
- 25:50Speaker 3: violence or threats of violence against journalists, violence or threats
- 25:54Speaker 3: against labor activists or union members, and significant presence of
- 25:59Speaker 3: any of the worst forms of child labor. Non state
- 26:03Speaker 3: actors committed arbitrary and unlawful killings, disappearances, physical abuse, and
- 26:06Speaker 3: other mistreatments. Boko Haram and the Islamic State in West
- 26:11Speaker 3: Africa continued attacks on civilians, military, police, humanitarian and religious targets,
- 26:20Speaker 3: unlawfully recruited and forcibly conscripted child soldiers, and carried out
- 26:26Speaker 3: scores of attacks on population centers in the North East regions.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Abductions by Bokohram and the Islamic State in West Africa continued.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Both groups subjected many women and girls to gender based violence,
- 26:42Speaker 3: including forced marriage, sexual slavery, and rape. This is what's
- 26:49Speaker 3: going on in Nigeria right now, and it is going
- 26:54Speaker 3: on far too often with the acquiescence of the elected
- 27:00Speaker 3: government officials, far too often, and in some instances, you
- 27:06Speaker 3: have provinces in Nigeria that have on the books blasphemy
- 27:12Speaker 3: law and Sharia law, and they will prosecute Christians for blasphemy,
- 27:18Speaker 3: they will plot prosecute Christians for violating Sharia law, in
- 27:22Speaker 3: which case the government becomes a tool of the persecution
- 27:27Speaker 3: of Christians.
- 27:28Speaker 1: And look it is.
- 27:32Speaker 3: It is devastating. It is the most Christians being murdered
- 27:37Speaker 3: anywhere on the face of the planet is happening in Nigeria.
- 27:43Speaker 3: And so I introduce legislation to require the Secretary of
- 27:48Speaker 3: State to designate Nigeria as a country of particular concern
- 27:52Speaker 3: and to impose sanctions, including in particular sanctioning the individual
- 27:57Speaker 3: government officials. So, if you're a local effe and you're
- 28:00Speaker 3: enforcing blasphemy laws and Sharia laws and you're persecuting Christians,
- 28:05Speaker 3: or you're turning the other way and turning a blind
- 28:08Speaker 3: eye to Christians being murdered, at in mass numbers. The
- 28:14Speaker 3: result of my legislation would be each of those individual
- 28:18Speaker 3: government officials would face sanctions. And I got to say,
- 28:21Speaker 3: the Nigerian government has been pushing back ferociously. For example,
- 28:26Speaker 3: the Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs ol
- 28:30Speaker 3: Ok said the Cruise bill is quote a deliberate attempt
- 28:34Speaker 3: to damage the Nigerian image, and he insists Nigeria is
- 28:39Speaker 3: a very tolerant country, well other than murdering fifty thousand Christians.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Very tolerant other than that. Likewise, the Minister of Information
- 28:47Speaker 3: and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris rejected the suggestion that quote
- 28:54Speaker 3: any Nigerian officials will willingly deliberately indulge in the act
- 28:58Speaker 3: of siding with violent extremists to target at any particular
- 29:01Speaker 3: religion in the country. Likewise, Presidential spokesperson baya on Anungo
- 29:09Speaker 3: demanded that Cruz stop his quote malicious and contrived lies
- 29:16Speaker 3: against quote my country. And finally, Senate President God's Will
- 29:22Speaker 3: Akpabillo cautioned against framing the crisis quote along religious lines
- 29:31Speaker 3: since quote terrorists and bandits target Nigerians indiscriminately regardless of faith.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Now listen, it is certainly true that Bukoharram and other
- 29:41Speaker 3: religious radicals in Nigeria are killing Muslims as well. They're
- 29:44Speaker 3: killing both, but they are systematically targeting Christians for mass murder.
- 29:49Speaker 3: When you've got fifty thousand Christians being murdered, that is
- 29:53Speaker 3: not accidental, that is not random. And the over eighteen
- 29:56Speaker 3: thousand churches and the over two thousand schools, they're singling
- 30:00Speaker 3: out and targeting Christian churches and Christian schools and burning
- 30:04Speaker 3: them to the ground. And the government of Nigeria is
- 30:08Speaker 3: not acting with any vigor at all to defend and
- 30:14Speaker 3: to defend the Christians or just to keep them alive.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, to keep them alive.
- 30:18Speaker 2: And so now obviously this is about letting it shining
- 30:22Speaker 2: a light on this, and then you go back to
- 30:24Speaker 2: the policy aspect of this, what happens next And for
- 30:28Speaker 2: people specifically that are listening, what do they need to
- 30:30Speaker 2: be doing and advocating for to make sure that we
- 30:32Speaker 2: can move this forward.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Look, the next step needs to be that I'm pushing
- 30:40Speaker 3: for the Congress to pass my legislation. I'm on the
- 30:43Speaker 3: Senate Foreign Relations Committee, so I'm pressing for the Senate
- 30:46Speaker 3: Foreign Relations Committee to take it up that would designate
- 30:50Speaker 3: Nigeria as a country of particular concern. Now, I would
- 30:53Speaker 3: note the Trump administration can do so on its own,
- 30:56Speaker 3: and this is often the case in foreign policy areas,
- 30:58Speaker 3: where all introduce legislation and I'll push for action. So,
- 31:01Speaker 3: for example, I've introduced legislation to designate the Muslim Brotherhood
- 31:06Speaker 3: is a terrorist organization. I've done so repeatedly in multiple congresses.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I think it is unequivocally a terrorist organization. In fact,
- 31:13Speaker 3: Hamas is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas is
- 31:17Speaker 3: the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine, is what they call themselves,
- 31:22Speaker 3: and that has not yet happened. But I would like
- 31:26Speaker 3: to see Congress pass my legislation. But the most likely
- 31:29Speaker 3: way we'll get the Muslim Brotherhood designated is that I
- 31:32Speaker 3: will succeed in convincing President Trump and the Trump administration
- 31:35Speaker 3: to do so. And I've been making that case vigorously.
- 31:38Speaker 3: With respect to Nigeria, the same thing is true. I'm
- 31:40Speaker 3: going to try to pass the legislation, but I'm also
- 31:43Speaker 3: very much making the case to the Trump administration. They
- 31:46Speaker 3: have the authority to do it now. And look, I
- 31:49Speaker 3: want to point out you asked what people can do
- 31:51Speaker 3: speak out highlight fifty thousand Christians massacred since two thousand
- 31:56Speaker 3: and nine, the single greatest mass slaughter of Christians anywhere
- 31:59Speaker 3: in the world world. And look here's how Fox News
- 32:04Speaker 3: put it.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Quote.
- 32:05Speaker 3: A diplomatic battle is being waged between leading Republican Senator
- 32:08Speaker 3: Ted Cruz and Nigerian government officials. The Texas senators has
- 32:12Speaker 3: warned he will hold them accountable for the reported mass
- 32:14Speaker 3: slaughter of tens of thousands of Christians in Nigeria. The
- 32:18Speaker 3: official say Cruz is lying, with one claiming that despite
- 32:21Speaker 3: even the Pope publicly calling out the killings, there is
- 32:25Speaker 3: religious harmony in the country. But you know what, maybe
- 32:29Speaker 3: you don't believe me, maybe you don't believe the Pope.
- 32:33Speaker 3: So if the Pope and I are both wrong, how
- 32:37Speaker 3: about this, maybe maybe you'll believe Bill Maher. You have
- 32:41Speaker 3: a listen to what Bill Maher had to say on
- 32:43Speaker 3: this topic.
- 32:43Speaker 5: If you don't know what's going on in Nigeria, your
- 32:46Speaker 5: media sources suck. You are in a bubble. And again,
- 32:51Speaker 5: I'm not a Christian, but they are systematically killing the
- 32:54Speaker 5: Christians in Nigeria. They've killed over one hundred thousand since
- 32:58Speaker 5: two thousand and nine they've burned eighty thousand churches.
- 33:01Speaker 1: This is so much.
- 33:02Speaker 5: More These are their Islamis vocoha ram. This is so
- 33:05Speaker 5: much more of a genocide attempt than what is going
- 33:08Speaker 5: on in Gaza. They are literally attempting to wipe out
- 33:11Speaker 5: the Christian population of an entire country.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Where are the kids protesting this?
- 33:16Speaker 4: Yeah? Thank you?
- 33:19Speaker 1: All will talk about it, so thank you.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Absolutely, it's Africa, That's what.
- 33:25Speaker 1: No one's talking about it and they should be.
- 33:27Speaker 4: You can't read about it on mainstream media. It's sad,
- 33:29Speaker 4: So thank you for bringing Vicker.
- 33:30Speaker 5: The Jews aren't involved, that's why it's.
- 33:33Speaker 1: The Christians and the Muslims two players.
- 33:36Speaker 3: He is exactly right, and I appreciate Bill Maher calling
- 33:40Speaker 3: it out and shining a light on it. He's right
- 33:43Speaker 3: that that that the corporate media does not want to
- 33:45Speaker 3: cover it. And by the way, on that same show,
- 33:49Speaker 3: someone you know well, Van Jones from CNN. He was
- 33:53Speaker 3: on that show, and Van Jones is a very left
- 33:56Speaker 3: wing guy and he's on CNN regularly. But but he
- 33:59Speaker 3: commented and and he chimed in agreeing with Bill Maher.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Here give a listen to Van Jones talking about the
- 34:05Speaker 3: slaughter of Christians in Nigeria.
- 34:08Speaker 5: You're talking about young people. A lot of them seem
- 34:10Speaker 5: to know one thing. White people did some very bad
- 34:12Speaker 5: things in this world, and they certainly did. But there
- 34:14Speaker 5: are other things to.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Know, yes, and including the fact that in Sudan right now,
- 34:19Speaker 6: which nobody is talking about, you have Arab militia murdering
- 34:23Speaker 6: people by the wheelbarrow. Including the fact that Africa right
- 34:25Speaker 6: now is being overrun by Islamis terravists, including Boko rob
- 34:29Speaker 6: with no conversation about that at all.
- 34:31Speaker 5: I did it last week Nigeria. I mean this is
- 34:35Speaker 5: an actual planned genocide. Yes, I mean they really want
- 34:38Speaker 5: to kill all the Christians in that country and they
- 34:40Speaker 5: are systematically doing it.
- 34:42Speaker 6: And the fact that there's almost no response from the
- 34:44Speaker 6: global left and no attention from mainstream media is a
- 34:48Speaker 6: crime against African people, black people, and human rights. I
- 34:51Speaker 6: agree with that one hundred percent.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It turns out.
- 34:54Speaker 6: That there's a double standard for Jews.
- 34:57Speaker 1: That is true, use no news.
- 35:01Speaker 6: As long as you can put the put the Jewish
- 35:03Speaker 6: state in the conversation, it's gonna be a big conversation.
- 35:05Speaker 6: If you can't, you get no attention at all. This
- 35:08Speaker 6: is a big problem. It is a big problem. I
- 35:10Speaker 6: mean you hear Van Jones saying it. Yep, he is correct.
- 35:13Speaker 6: It is a huge problem.
- 35:15Speaker 2: No Jews, no news like I mean, it's it's it's
- 35:18Speaker 2: amazing that this is happening.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Look, we see the protests on college campuses. We see
- 35:25Speaker 3: these angry leftists who are completely enraged about Gaza. The
- 35:29Speaker 3: instant President Trump negotiates a peace deal, they go away.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Now Hamas is executing Palestinians on the street, lighting up
- 35:36Speaker 3: Palestinians on their knees, shooting him in the back of
- 35:39Speaker 3: the head, and not a peep. These leftist radicals, they
- 35:42Speaker 3: are perfectly fine with Palestinians being systematically murdered as long
- 35:46Speaker 3: as it's Palestinians. As long as Hamas doing the murder.
- 35:50Speaker 3: You don't see a protest. You don't see and he
- 35:53Speaker 3: calls a genocide. Their protest is about one thing, which
- 35:56Speaker 3: is they hate Israel and they hate Jews. And I
- 36:00Speaker 3: to say, where is ABC, where is CBS, Where is
- 36:03Speaker 3: an NBC? Where's CNN and MSNBC? Where's the New York Times?
- 36:07Speaker 3: Where's the Washington Post? About the mass murder of over
- 36:12Speaker 3: fifty thousand Christians in Nigeria? You know what, if you
- 36:15Speaker 3: want to find out things like that, you got to
- 36:18Speaker 3: listen to Verdict, You got to listen to the podcast.
- 36:20Speaker 3: You got to go and work. But I will say
- 36:22Speaker 3: there are not many issues that bring together me, the Pope,
- 36:29Speaker 3: Bill Maher and Ven Jones.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Amen to that.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Amen to that.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Man.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Make sure you take this podcast, share it with your
- 36:36Speaker 2: family and friends, put it up on social media. If
- 36:38Speaker 2: you get that little forward button, you can put it
- 36:40Speaker 2: on wherever you're on social media. It's actually really easy
- 36:42Speaker 2: and it helps other people hear this. Also, if you
- 36:45Speaker 2: missed our episode on Friday with Donald Trump's' son Eric Trump,
- 36:50Speaker 2: go back and grab that. It was a really interesting episode.
- 36:53Speaker 2: I want to make sure you guys, if you miss
- 36:54Speaker 2: it on Friday, you can grab that as well. And
- 36:56Speaker 2: then Senat and I will see you back here on
- 36:58Speaker 2: Wednesday morning.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Yeah,
