- 0:16Speaker 1: Bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Listening to show.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I don't Joy.
- 0:45Speaker 6: Yeah, Joy, you got you, you love. You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I can't have to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 7: The turn.
- 1:43Speaker 6: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out the water,
- 1:47Speaker 6: the water jump.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 8: dig me now. One and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 8: radio show. Yeah, I got one. And I got a
- 2:14Speaker 8: message for you today too. Something I was thinking about
- 2:18Speaker 8: that might help you along the way. The thing I
- 2:20Speaker 8: appreciate about so many people that I learned from Bishop Jakes,
- 2:25Speaker 8: Kenneth Olmer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, Joel Oldstein.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I can't tell you, and many more than that.
- 2:34Speaker 8: I mean, you know, I'm naming you know, famous people
- 2:38Speaker 8: because I know you know these names. But my father,
- 2:42Speaker 8: who you never met, was so great in my development
- 2:47Speaker 8: as a man. But my mother thought her mercy. My mother,
- 2:51Speaker 8: she taught me about faith. She gave me the things
- 2:55Speaker 8: I needed to know about what I speak about every day.
- 2:59Speaker 8: That basis was given to me by her. So it's
- 3:01Speaker 8: so many great people. But here's the thing that I've
- 3:04Speaker 8: had to learn, and that is that if God got
- 3:08Speaker 8: you through it.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It's done. Move on.
- 3:12Speaker 8: See, I can't tell you how many people don't really
- 3:15Speaker 8: pay attention to that close enough. If God got you
- 3:19Speaker 8: through it, it's done.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Move on.
- 3:24Speaker 8: How many times have we as people allowed God to
- 3:29Speaker 8: get us through something, get us beyond something, get us
- 3:33Speaker 8: over something, get us through something, and then even after
- 3:37Speaker 8: its completion, we sit there and we dwell on it,
- 3:41Speaker 8: and we dwell on it to the point where it
- 3:44Speaker 8: becomes an anchor around our neck, and we can't move on.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We can't move on because we just won't let it go.
- 3:54Speaker 2: It's done. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Move on.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Stop harboring on the past.
- 4:03Speaker 8: Stop hanging on to every time you fail, Stop hanging
- 4:07Speaker 8: on to every time you slipped up and messed up.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Stop hanging on to every time you didn't get it right.
- 4:13Speaker 8: So what everybody makes mistakes, Everybody messes up, everybody don't
- 4:20Speaker 8: get it right.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Everybody's struggling with something.
- 4:24Speaker 8: You ain't the only one, but my God, Man, if
- 4:29Speaker 8: God got you through it, it's done.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Move on. You hanging on to it for it. That's
- 4:36Speaker 2: why He got it, got you through it, so you
- 4:38Speaker 2: can move on from it.
- 4:40Speaker 8: See a lot of things that happened to us that
- 4:43Speaker 8: we think are negative or bad experience.
- 4:47Speaker 2: These are lessons and what not to do. This is
- 4:51Speaker 2: a way to have on now a bearing on look
- 4:54Speaker 2: out for it.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The next time.
- 4:56Speaker 8: You got me once, you can't get me again. I'm
- 4:59Speaker 8: telling you, man, if God got you through it, it's done,
- 5:03Speaker 8: move on. You have got to move on. I use
- 5:08Speaker 8: this analogy all the time. I'm gonna add a little
- 5:10Speaker 8: bit to it. Bishop Jakes told me you cannot drive
- 5:16Speaker 8: your car looking in the rear view mirror. See you
- 5:22Speaker 8: know what your rearview mirror is actually for in your car.
- 5:25Speaker 8: Your rearview mirror is designed. After I pass a car
- 5:31Speaker 8: and I want to merge into that lane, or I
- 5:35Speaker 8: want to make another move, I look up in the
- 5:38Speaker 8: rear view mirror, and all I use it for it
- 5:42Speaker 8: shows me that I've gotten past it. I've gotten past
- 5:46Speaker 8: the vehicle I was passing, and I got enough room
- 5:49Speaker 8: now clear to make my next move. That's what I
- 5:52Speaker 8: use my rearview mirror for. I use my rear view
- 5:56Speaker 8: mirror to just glance up every now and then to
- 5:59Speaker 8: see what's coming up on me. That's all I use
- 6:02Speaker 8: it for.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Listen to me real close. Now, your rearview mirror.
- 6:07Speaker 8: On your car is after you passing something or you're
- 6:11Speaker 8: passing by something, you can look up in the rear
- 6:15Speaker 8: view mirror and it lets you know you're pasted it,
- 6:18Speaker 8: you're beyond it. It's clear now, it's in the past.
- 6:22Speaker 8: You no longer have to deal with it as the
- 6:25Speaker 8: car that was in front of you blocking your way.
- 6:29Speaker 2: You have passed it.
- 6:30Speaker 8: You look up in the mirror, you've cleared it. Now
- 6:34Speaker 8: if you want to switch lanes, you could slide on over.
- 6:38Speaker 2: You got room.
- 6:39Speaker 8: But that rearview mirror also lets you see if anything
- 6:42Speaker 8: is coming up on you, and you just need to glance,
- 6:45Speaker 8: because if you moving forward and a whole lot can
- 6:49Speaker 8: come up on you, you just glancing every now and then,
- 6:52Speaker 8: and it reminds you that you got through something and
- 6:55Speaker 8: you got beyond something. That's what the rearview mirror for. Now,
- 6:58Speaker 8: let's talk about that windshield. Why you think that wind
- 7:02Speaker 8: shields so big on your car. That's the biggest window
- 7:07Speaker 8: on your car, you know, why the wind shield so big?
- 7:12Speaker 8: Because it's where you're going. Because even the automobile makers
- 7:18Speaker 8: want you to have a wide view of where you're
- 7:20Speaker 8: going so you can see what's up ahead. They put
- 7:25Speaker 8: lights on the card night so you can have night
- 7:27Speaker 8: vision and see what's up ahead. But you can uh
- 7:31Speaker 8: oh man, oh see not why is that looking? Think
- 7:34Speaker 8: about that now before I move forward with this one.
- 7:37Speaker 8: Think about that wind shield, man, Why is that wind
- 7:40Speaker 8: shield so big so you can see where you're going.
- 7:43Speaker 8: It's way more important where you're going than where you're being,
- 7:48Speaker 8: don't you see that. That's why the rear view mirror
- 7:51Speaker 8: is so small, because it is nowhere near as important
- 7:54Speaker 8: as it is as to where you're going. While you
- 7:57Speaker 8: being just allows you to take a glance. You can
- 8:00Speaker 8: make sure you cleared it so you can see if
- 8:02Speaker 8: it's room enough for you to make your next move,
- 8:05Speaker 8: so you can know that you've gone through it and
- 8:07Speaker 8: go ahead on about your business. But that windshield, that
- 8:10Speaker 8: windshield is for vision. A man without a dream of
- 8:14Speaker 8: vision shall perish. That windshield is for somebody going somewhere.
- 8:18Speaker 8: That windshielding for somebody up there trying to make another move.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna go right. I'm gonna left.
- 8:23Speaker 8: I'm gonna get off on this exit. I'm gonna take
- 8:25Speaker 8: this detail. I'm gonna handle this sign. There's a new route.
- 8:28Speaker 8: There's only so many miles left to go. That's what
- 8:31Speaker 8: the windshield got. Let me tell you something, man, when
- 8:34Speaker 8: you see a mile sign, you're driving on the freeway,
- 8:36Speaker 8: you're on the interstate, and you let's say you driving
- 8:39Speaker 8: to a particular city and you see a sign that
- 8:41Speaker 8: says that city is thirty eight or one hundred and
- 8:45Speaker 8: thirty eight miles away. That lets you know where you're going,
- 8:48Speaker 8: and you're on the right path. Now, if you keep
- 8:51Speaker 8: looking in the rear view mirror, you'll never know how
- 8:54Speaker 8: close you are. You'll never know you're driving your car
- 9:00Speaker 8: looking in the rear view mirror. You all on the shoulder,
- 9:02Speaker 8: You hear them rocks up under your car. You just
- 9:05Speaker 8: scared yourself to death because you know why, because you
- 9:07Speaker 8: keep looking in the rear view mirror.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Get out the rear view mirror. If God got you
- 9:13Speaker 2: through it, it's done.
- 9:15Speaker 7: Move on.
- 9:16Speaker 8: So what he don't love you no more? And man,
- 9:20Speaker 8: let's move on. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Move on. God got something for you.
- 9:26Speaker 8: If you get out your rear view mirror and get
- 9:29Speaker 8: up in that wind shield, God's got something for you
- 9:31Speaker 8: up ahead. But you can't see what's up ahead because
- 9:34Speaker 8: you in that rear view mirror. If God got you
- 9:37Speaker 8: through it, it's done. Let's move on. Come on, y'all,
- 9:41Speaker 8: don't let the pass beat you up. That's the ingredients
- 9:44Speaker 8: in the cake. You done made that already, that's done.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 9:48Speaker 8: God, look in the windshield, see what God marbably got
- 9:51Speaker 8: something new for you. If you get out the rearview
- 9:53Speaker 8: mirror and look, open up your eyes and see. All right,
- 9:56Speaker 8: let's go today. You're listening, morning, ladies and gentlemen. I
- 10:04Speaker 8: have an announcement to make. He has done it again.
- 10:09Speaker 8: The amazing thing about it is he has never failed.
- 10:13Speaker 8: I'm talking about God right now. I'm talking about that sun,
- 10:16Speaker 8: that new day. I'm talking about that sunset last night.
- 10:19Speaker 8: I'm talking about that time that just keeps on ticking.
- 10:22Speaker 8: I'm telling you every promise He ever made has been true.
- 10:25Speaker 8: Time and tide waits on. No man, you can pray
- 10:28Speaker 8: for a lot of stuff, but you can't ask God
- 10:30Speaker 8: to stop the time.
- 10:31Speaker 2: He can't do it. Just for you.
- 10:32Speaker 8: Got a whole lot of things working on that clock.
- 10:34Speaker 8: He just keeps showing up. Man, It's amazing to me.
- 10:38Speaker 8: It is absolutely amazing to me.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I honor him for that.
- 10:41Speaker 8: I thank him for that, and for allowing me to
- 10:44Speaker 8: be a participant in my own small Way show. Grateful
- 10:48Speaker 8: Steve Arvey, morn the show, Shirley Strawberry calling for real

- 11:00Speaker 8: what it is today?

- 11:27Speaker 10: Jazmine just say? What is ed Lee's going through? All
- 11:30Speaker 10: of these TV shows I got to watch? Do you
- 11:33Speaker 10: have to watch these TV shows? Do you have to
- 11:35Speaker 10: watch anything with your wife?
- 11:36Speaker 9: Do y'all have to do this?
- 11:38Speaker 5: No?
- 11:39Speaker 2: My wife don't watch it.
- 11:41Speaker 9: Huh, Well it's just me.

- 12:53Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 12:53Speaker 9: What's the income entity?
- 12:55Speaker 11: What is that?
- 12:56Speaker 8: You mean?
- 12:56Speaker 2: Go do something to make some money?
- 12:58Speaker 9: Oh okay, well, well that's true quality time.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Because my question for you is what is you watching? TV?
- 13:06Speaker 8: Faults?
- 13:07Speaker 1: But the question is about quality quality. There's quality time.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It's not about making book.

- 13:49Speaker 1: the nephew. What you got for his nep uh?
- 13:52Speaker 13: Your house is my house. Your house is my house.
- 13:58Speaker 13: Let's see if we can't figure this out. Your house
- 14:00Speaker 13: eels Mahu. All right, yeah, if you would Hello, Hello,
- 14:06Speaker 13: I'm trying to reach Russell.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Yeah, this is Russell.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Hi Russell. I'm Isaiah.
- 14:12Speaker 13: I'm a realator real estate and I'm trying to do
- 14:16Speaker 13: some schematics. I think I'm calling the right house. I'm
- 14:20Speaker 13: not quite sure. Are you West Dixie Road?
- 14:24Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right.
- 14:27Speaker 2: How many square feet is your house?
- 14:28Speaker 5: If you don't mind me asking, it's about thirty five
- 14:31Speaker 5: hundred square feet?
- 14:33Speaker 2: Oh no, this is the right house or not? Is
- 14:35Speaker 2: this You have a deck out in the back of
- 14:37Speaker 2: all weather type of deck out in the back?
- 14:39Speaker 14: Yeah? I do, Well, what do you? What do you?
- 14:41Speaker 14: What do you?
- 14:42Speaker 4: What's this about?
- 14:43Speaker 2: Okay, if you don't mind me, Russell, how long have
- 14:46Speaker 2: you lived there?
- 14:47Speaker 4: Yea, my man, I've already asked you twice, and you're
- 14:49Speaker 4: asking me for like pers information on my crib's just
- 14:53Speaker 4: a reference to.
- 14:54Speaker 13: Okay, Well, like I said, I'm a realator and I'm
- 14:56Speaker 13: trying to get ahead of some things that's going on.
- 14:59Speaker 13: And you're well, it's been brought to my attention that
- 15:04Speaker 13: your house is going to be is going into foreclosure
- 15:07Speaker 13: and it's going to be on the on the market
- 15:09Speaker 13: in the next two to three weeks.
- 15:11Speaker 2: So I wanted to make sure I was getting the
- 15:13Speaker 2: right house, and I wanted to make sure, but and
- 15:16Speaker 2: you got the wrong house.
- 15:17Speaker 4: My house is not going to foreclosure. I'm up to
- 15:20Speaker 4: date I'm good. So you got you definitely got the
- 15:23Speaker 4: wrong house.
- 15:24Speaker 13: Okay, hang on, So what's Dix Road, And like you said,
- 15:29Speaker 13: thirty five hundred square feet, this is a two car garage, right.
- 15:33Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what information you're getting.
- 15:36Speaker 4: But when it comes to my name in my crib
- 15:39Speaker 4: and what's going on with my builds and all that,
- 15:41Speaker 4: I'm up to date and I'm fine. So you got
- 15:43Speaker 4: the wrong information, you got the wrong the wrong person,
- 15:46Speaker 4: the wrong information on the right house, whatever it is.
- 15:49Speaker 4: But this is not My house is definitely not going
- 15:52Speaker 4: in the foreclosure. This is like it's my woman, you
- 15:54Speaker 4: get me, so I So my whole thing is is
- 15:58Speaker 4: I don't even know why you're calling. My house is
- 16:00Speaker 4: definitely not for sale. It is now now on going
- 16:03Speaker 4: to foreclosure. I'm not behind on my bills.
- 16:06Speaker 13: Well, sir, I'm telling you what my books say, and
- 16:08Speaker 13: this is our I'm looking at legitimate legal paperwork.
- 16:11Speaker 4: What I'm trying to tell you is this, I don't
- 16:14Speaker 4: care about your books. Read what I'm read, Read what
- 16:17Speaker 4: i'm writing to you. I'm up to date on my mortgage.
- 16:20Speaker 4: You're just a realtor. So my whole thing is you're not.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Nobody's selling my house. My house is now.
- 16:25Speaker 13: Okayd No, let's back, let's back up. Let's go back
- 16:27Speaker 13: to just a realtor. You're not gonna talk to me
- 16:29Speaker 13: like that. Now, I'm a realtor and I'm a person.
- 16:32Speaker 13: That's that's that's on top of my game. Your house
- 16:34Speaker 13: is going in the foreclosure.
- 16:35Speaker 11: Now.
- 16:35Speaker 2: You can be in denial if you want to be.
- 16:37Speaker 13: But I'm just trying to get on top of everything
- 16:39Speaker 13: and get you know, try to sell the house as
- 16:41Speaker 13: soon as it hits the market.
- 16:43Speaker 4: So I know what I'm not gonna You don't know, man, Look,
- 16:47Speaker 4: there's not going to the foreclosure, dude.
- 16:50Speaker 13: So so so if I'm looking at paperwork here, why
- 16:53Speaker 13: am I looking at paperwork that has your address on it?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Sir?
- 16:56Speaker 4: That sounds like a personal potent. Obviously you now top
- 16:59Speaker 4: of your phone.
- 17:00Speaker 2: No, the personal problem is going to be yours when
- 17:02Speaker 2: they when they come put you out your house. This
- 17:04Speaker 2: is foreclosure. That's your address.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Yo.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Look, I'm trying to tell you, man, don't knock on
- 17:10Speaker 4: my door, don't call my don't call none of that.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Nobody's coming to my house knocking on the door, trying
- 17:15Speaker 4: to put me on my house and on top of
- 17:17Speaker 4: that a foreclosed. It takes a long time.
- 17:20Speaker 13: Well, that's what I mean. This is, this is, this is,
- 17:22Speaker 13: this has been in there a long time. It's coming
- 17:25Speaker 13: up in the next couple of weeks. That's what I'm
- 17:27Speaker 13: telling you.
- 17:28Speaker 5: What paperwork do you have? I am looking at what bank?
- 17:33Speaker 7: What do you do?
- 17:33Speaker 4: You even know what banked? Is it selling the house
- 17:36Speaker 4: or trying to put me in forecloses?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Are you with do you? Are you with First Fidelity?
- 17:42Speaker 4: That's not your concern.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Okay, well you just asked me, sir. You just asked me.
- 17:47Speaker 5: That's what's on this paperwork in the foreclosure.

- 25:35Speaker 11: he's married. Instead of judging me, she encouraged me to
- 25:39Speaker 11: keep seeing him, but don't get caught. How can she
- 25:42Speaker 11: claim to love me and tell me to do that.

- 54:28Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Thank you nephew subject. It was all recorded on her iPad.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty eight year old married woman.
- 54:39Speaker 1: This is my second marriage and my husband's first marriage.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I have a twenty one year old child and an
- 54:45Speaker 1: eighteen year old child, but I felt obligated to have
- 54:48Speaker 1: a child with my husband because he didn't have any kids.
- 54:51Speaker 11: We've been married four years and we have a three
- 54:54Speaker 11: year old daughter. He used to be my world, but
- 54:57Speaker 11: now my children are my world. After my iPad exposed
- 55:01Speaker 11: my husband as a cheater, it was caught on video,
- 55:05Speaker 11: so there's no way he can make me believe what
- 55:07Speaker 11: I heard was not what I heard. My husband runs
- 55:10Speaker 11: a tax prep business and he does the payroll for
- 55:13Speaker 11: his brother's business. His office is down in our basement,
- 55:18Speaker 11: so our daughter stays home with him every day. It
- 55:21Speaker 11: has saved money on daycare, so we have a tutor
- 55:24Speaker 11: come by two days a week to do activities with
- 55:27Speaker 11: our daughter on her iPad, but most of the time
- 55:30Speaker 11: my daughter is in the basement making videos of herself cooking,
- 55:34Speaker 11: doing her doll's hair, and trying to do TikTok dances.
- 55:37Speaker 11: Last week, she was doing a cooking video and my
- 55:40Speaker 11: husband was in the background on the phone. My daughter
- 55:43Speaker 11: shushed him in her sweet little way, and he winked
- 55:46Speaker 11: at her. Then he told whoever he was on the
- 55:50Speaker 11: phone with that he had to go and he'd see
- 55:52Speaker 11: her at twelve thirty. While the baby was taking a nap,
- 55:56Speaker 11: he was grinning from ear to ear. He also so
- 56:00Speaker 11: told the person to bring her bonnet so she wouldn't
- 56:02Speaker 11: sweat her hair out like last time. That evening, my
- 56:06Speaker 11: daughter wanted to show me her video, but all I
- 56:09Speaker 11: heard was my husband talking to his side chick. The
- 56:12Speaker 11: people closest to me think we can get past this.
- 56:15Speaker 11: So does he can a cheater?
- 56:17Speaker 7: Ever?
- 56:17Speaker 17: Change?
- 56:18Speaker 1: Do I owe him a second chance? First of all,
- 56:22Speaker 1: I got to say this about your little three year
- 56:24Speaker 1: old daughter. She's amazing.
- 56:26Speaker 11: Okay, she's quite advanced with her technical skills and all
- 56:29Speaker 11: that filming herself cooking during odal's hair, doing TikTok dances.
- 56:34Speaker 11: I like that, But no, you don't owe your husband
- 56:38Speaker 11: a second chance. Why don't you owe him a second chance?
- 56:41Speaker 11: Because he's cheating on you and you have the receipts period,
- 56:45Speaker 11: And where's he going at twelve thirty when your daughter
- 56:49Speaker 11: takes a nap? I mean, he's supposed to be watching
- 56:51Speaker 11: her write? Can cheaters change, you, ask? I believe people
- 56:57Speaker 11: can do whatever they put their minds to. Problem is
- 57:01Speaker 11: will he change? Can he control himself? Or does he
- 57:04Speaker 11: even want to stop cheating? Those are the questions. And
- 57:08Speaker 11: it's not a matter of him changing. It's not even
- 57:10Speaker 11: that he broke the trust you had in him. So
- 57:13Speaker 11: it's about you now.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Do you want to give him a second chance?
- 57:16Speaker 2: Do you want to do that?
- 57:18Speaker 1: Will you ever be able to trust him again?
- 57:20Speaker 11: You don't want to be constantly worried about him cheating
- 57:22Speaker 11: and whatever else he's doing. He said, he believes you
- 57:26Speaker 11: guys can get past this, just like family members did.
- 57:30Speaker 11: So what is he willing to do to make sure
- 57:33Speaker 11: of that? Do you want to give him another chance?
- 57:36Speaker 11: Like I said, will he stop cheating and do the
- 57:39Speaker 11: hard work it's going to take to fix this marriage?
- 57:41Speaker 11: If it can be fixed, how does he plan to
- 57:44Speaker 11: make it up to you? These are more of the
- 57:46Speaker 11: questions that you need to ask him. If you decide
- 57:49Speaker 11: to try and work this marriage out. I will caution
- 57:52Speaker 11: you to be careful, though, because at this point I'm
- 57:55Speaker 11: sure he's going to say anything he thinks you want
- 57:57Speaker 11: to hear.
- 57:58Speaker 1: So trust what he does, not what he says. Steve,
- 58:04Speaker 1: he was caught on tape.
- 58:05Speaker 19: Well, oh, let me just start by saying, damn dog. Yes,
- 58:14Speaker 19: I mean, just damn dog.
- 58:19Speaker 14: Uh.
- 58:20Speaker 1: First of all, why are you talking in front of
- 58:24Speaker 1: your child, y'all?
- 58:27Speaker 8: I mean, and how loud were you talking that whatever
- 58:32Speaker 8: your daughter was doing on the iPad you could be
- 58:36Speaker 8: heard in the background.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Uh.
- 58:41Speaker 8: None of this letter, none of this information in the
- 58:44Speaker 8: in the letter is important about her being married before
- 58:48Speaker 8: this his first marriage. Uh, he never he never had
- 58:52Speaker 8: a child, so you felt obligated.
- 58:56Speaker 2: To have a baby.
- 58:56Speaker 8: And now y'all got a three year old, You got
- 58:58Speaker 8: a twenty one year old and a ten year old,
- 59:00Speaker 8: and you know that's not important. It ain't even important
- 59:07Speaker 8: that his husband runs a tax prep business. That your
- 59:11Speaker 8: husband runs a tax prep business and he does payroll
- 59:15Speaker 8: for his brother's business. What do that got to do
- 59:19Speaker 8: with anything? All this information is so irrelevant, it has
- 59:23Speaker 8: nothing to do with the letter. His office is down
- 59:27Speaker 8: in our basement now, This is what becomes important. The
- 59:31Speaker 8: office is in the basement, so our daughter stays home
- 59:34Speaker 8: with him every day. It has saved money on daycare.
- 59:38Speaker 8: So we have a tu to come by two days
- 59:40Speaker 8: a week to do activities with our daughter on how
- 59:43Speaker 8: I paid? You have?
- 59:47Speaker 16: What?
- 59:49Speaker 8: So you pay somebody to come by the house two
- 59:53Speaker 8: days a week, not to study, but to do activities
- 59:58Speaker 8: with your daughter on high pad.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: I guess you're supporting the daughter.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Huh, it's probably educational stuff.
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: No, no, no, we have a tutor come by two
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: days to do activities on our daughter's iPad.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: For most of the time, my daughter is in the
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: basement making videos of herself cooking, doing her doll's hair,
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: or trying to do TikTok dance.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: At what the hell?
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: I need a tutor to come by for that for
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: two days?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: What I think it's educational?
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: No, anyway, she was doing a cooking video and my
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: husband's in the background on the phone. This is where
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: the letter gets good. This is all we need to do,
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: and after that, I'll tell you whatever.
- 1:00:44Speaker 11: All right, We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:50Speaker 11: Subject is it was all recorded on her iPad. We'll
- 1:00:54Speaker 11: get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:00:58Speaker 11: Morning show, All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:01:01Speaker 11: strawberry letter. The subject is it was all recorded on
- 1:01:04Speaker 11: her iPad.
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: The first part of this letter is unimportant. She's been married,
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: Her husband has it. They've been married four years. She
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: got two kids. That's grown eighteen twenty one. He wanted
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: a child, felt obligated. They got a three year old daughter.
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: He works from his basement. He do his brother's taxes.
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: The daughter stays home with them to save money on daycare,
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: and she do TikTok videos. And y'all got a two
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: to come by twice a week to do activities on TikTok.
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: They ain't got damn thing to do with this letter
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: except set us up. Your baby is always doing stuff
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: on TikTok. Now, last week she was doing a cooking video.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: She's three years old. Yes, y'all gonna set the house
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: on fire. And my husband was in the background on
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: the phone. My daughter shushed him in her sweet little way,
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: and he winked at her. Oh, some daddy daughter time.
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: Then he told who ever was on the phone with
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: that he had to go and he would see her
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: at twelve thirty.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Now, whoever he was on the phone with, you don't know.
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: So we got a small out here, We got a loop,
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: a chance to lie, you said, he told her, But
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: you don't know it was her because all he said
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: was I'll see you at twelve thirty while the baby
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: is taking a nap.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: It could have been a business meeting, It could have
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: been anything. We had to open it.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: But now your ass stayed on the phone and gave
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: the incriminating evidence.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Yes, he was grinning here the ear.
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: Well, if I'm gonna make some money, I'm grinning too.
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: He also told the person to bring your bonnet so
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: you don't sweat your hair out like last time. What
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: is you saying this for? In front of the damn baby.
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: That evening, my daughter wanted to show me her video.
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: All I heard was my husband talking to his side chick.
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: Now it wasn't a side chick until he said, bring
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: your bonnet so you don't sweat your hair out.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Come on like last time.
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: God, this is the information that is incriminating and the
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: part that we must deal with immediately.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I have a solution, no way, yes, no wasteve.
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: That evening, my daughter wanted to show me the video
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: and I heard my husband talking to his what you
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: say this side chick? The people closest to me think
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: we can work past this, and so does he cound
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: of cheetah?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Ever change? Do I owe him a second? Now?
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: First of all, you left out a lot of information
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: what he said about the phone call, how he explained it, everything.
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: But obviously he must have told her that it was
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: a chicken. Surey's ridiculous question was where's he going at
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: twelve thirty?
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: He ain't going nowhere. He leaving that baby at home.
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: About himself, it's twelve thirty when the baby take a nap,
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: he don't leave the house. She need to bring that
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: bonnet so she don't swear her hair and lead no
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: hand on these sheets that he's going nowhere. His dumb
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: answer is at the house. What he should have said
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: was that was not a woman on the phone. I
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: did say come over at twelve thirty so the baby
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: could be sleep, and I told him to bring his
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: bonnet because sometimes he goes to the Suner it was
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: my brother and my brother go to the sun, and
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: I told him to bring his bonnet with him, because
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: what you don't know was my brother just got a parent.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Uh uh No, nobody's buying that. Well what else she got?
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: What else she got?
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: But she at least he would have had it because
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: you didn't know who he was talking to when he said,
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: come by a twelve while baby sleep.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: The problem he had was.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: He told her to bring a bonnet so she wouldn't
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: sweat her hair. All we got to do is cover
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: this bonnet and sweating hair. And that would be a
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: man who has a James Brown parent that he was
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: perm in his hair.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: And that's all it got. Now, that's all you got
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: gonna work.
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: Absolutely nothing, absolutely, But you need to have a shadow
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: of doubt because in Nigeria of twelve you just need
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: one reasonable.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: You just need one for reasonable doubt.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: It reasonable.
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: That didn't work? Yeah, and everybody people closer, You think
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: y'all could get past that. And so does he kenne
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: Cheetah ever changed? She just changed all the time. Do
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: I owe him a second chance? I don't know that
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: you owe him anything. It's just a matter of do
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: you want to? But you left a lot of information
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: out of this. I'm assuming you're writing because you want
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: to work it out. If you didn't write us, you
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: would just say I'm done. I'm going boom boom boom,
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: boom boom. But you have some doubts and you want
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: to try to work it out with this man because
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: he used to be your world.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: She's thinking in her head that it could be the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: brother with the perm.
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: No, she's not thinking that at all. Because he was
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: smart enough to interject that doubt early on. It's too
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: late to double back.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: He's already ever, there's no doubt he did it.
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: He's already admitted it. Shereley, Why don't you listen sometime. Oh,
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: we'll just go with Joe hole wrecking advice.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: You're just mad because he got caught, and you know
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I have a life for it.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I'm mad because he didn't think anohing about that.
- 1:07:09Speaker 11: I know. Dave Letter on the Instagram at Steve Harvey

- 1:08:14Speaker 10: the day of the fight, after the fight with Devin Hainey.
- 1:08:17Speaker 10: And you know, Ryan Garcia says, no, no, I didn't cheat.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I didn't do any of this.
- 1:08:22Speaker 10: After the fight too, they get tested again right in

- 1:08:35Speaker 10: And then Devin Haney says it's a shame that he
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: did do this. And then Ryan Garcia said, no, no,
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: they paying somebody because Why is this information coming out now?
- 1:08:44Speaker 10: Why we find it out now that my tests are
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: positive when I don't. I don't even take substance. So
- 1:08:49Speaker 10: we got have to see how this story turns out.
- 1:08:51Speaker 10: But it's a it's a shame that this is boxing.
- 1:08:55Speaker 10: This is boxing unk and if you're looking at it
- 1:08:57Speaker 10: from a boxing perspective, this could actually be overturned and
- 1:09:01Speaker 10: then Devin Haney will have a no contest fight that
- 1:09:04Speaker 10: means his record goes back to perfect.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: But he got an you could do that, but he
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: got his air.
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: And because Ryan Garcia didn't make weight, he didn't lose
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: his helt.
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: Yeah, performing the hands and drugs or not, he's.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Still told you. You know, you can say what you
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: want to say.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: And I'm telling you right now, if I'm boxing, I'm
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: taking all the poor performing their hands and drugs. I'm
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: telling you right now, chewing them, drinking them, injecting them whatever.
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: I'm up in there strong, chewing them now. Nothing to
- 1:09:38Speaker 8: sit up in here on TV and pay per viewer.
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: Just take getting my ass.

- 1:20:15Speaker 9: gonna do.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: While the first.

- 1:20:44Speaker 11: the day, and we'll close out the show with one
- 1:20:46Speaker 11: and only Steve Harvey right after this, you're listening Harvey
- 1:20:51Speaker 11: Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are on this Friday,
- 1:20:54Speaker 11: our last break of the day before we shut it
- 1:20:57Speaker 11: down for the weekend. And Steve, you have some closing
- 1:21:01Speaker 11: remarks for you.
- 1:21:03Speaker 8: Just want to remind people of something that can help
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: you in your u in your quest to be happy
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: or successful. Like I've often said, most people I know
- 1:21:12Speaker 8: want to be happy, are and successful. One of the
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: key things in that. And I did this on my.
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: Fireside chat yesterday.
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: A woman had called in who was hand selected by
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: some people from Sydney Portyer eight years ago to be
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: an extra in the uh uh Saturday Night. What's that
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: movie that that they do Town Saturday Night, Uptown Saturday Night. Yeah,
- 1:21:41Speaker 8: she was an extra in it as a young girl.
- 1:21:43Speaker 8: They went to the school and picked some people out
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: and you could tell she was much older now and
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: she had been hanging on to that dream of being
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: an actress and never gotten any roles after that. Was
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: just an extra in that and because someone had told
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: them that, look, you got a future in this, they.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: Hung on to that. Now.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: Somebody picked this woman out of a crowd, her and
- 1:22:07Speaker 8: a girlfriend and she was much older, attractive. Woman was
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: on the fireside chat with me yesterday and said, how
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: do you how do you stay strong and keep pursuing
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: your dreams? And so part of my thing that I'm
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: gonna talk to you about is how do you hold
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: on the pursuit of your dreams. But a couple of
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: things have to happen. One of the things is sometimes
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: you can't be afraid to reinvent yourself. You know, is
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: nothing wrong with reinventing yourself. It's nothing wrong with changing course.
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: It's nothing wrong for allowing God to show you an
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: alternative path. Oftentimes we make goals for ourselves that we're
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: not going to get that the exact way that we
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: planned it or thought it. You've got to be old
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: into the reinvention of yourself. It's okay to reinvent yourself.
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: It's okay to grow into something different. It's okay you
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: thought you should go right, It's okay to take that
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: detour and go left. You've got to learn that about
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: the mission. The plan is not for you to remain
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: the same that The plan ultimately is for you to grow,
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: and nothing can grow without change. The second part of
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: this is we've all got to learn how to let go,
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: especially things in our past, and especially things that have
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: a negative hold over us. Do you know how many
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: people you have seen who will not let go of
- 1:23:55Speaker 8: a negative event that has happened in their past, And
- 1:23:59Speaker 8: every free time you see them, they bring it up
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: over and over and over again. It is the one
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: thing that they will not let go of. To the
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: point where you hate to run up into them, to
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: the point where you hate to see them, to the
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: point where you don't even want to ask them, Hey, man,
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: how you doing, y'all? If something happened to you and
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: your past, you have got to let that go because
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: it's the past. Your past belongs to history, your future
- 1:24:34Speaker 8: belongs to God. When you concern yourself overly, concern yourself
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: with your future or your past, you will suffer from anxiety.
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: Anxiety is not having control of the things that you
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: can't control anyway. You can't control your past, and you
- 1:24:53Speaker 8: can't control the future. But if you hang on to
- 1:24:56Speaker 8: your past, it would definitely hamper your future. You have
- 1:25:01Speaker 8: no chance of moving forward if you keep laying wallowing
- 1:25:07Speaker 8: in your past. I watch it over and over and
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: over again. Former friends of mine are doing it to
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: themselves all the time, and it's sad to watch. It's
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: sad to what and I so want to call them
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: and just go, hey, you know what, why don't you
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: let that go? But then, you know what, have you
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: ever tried to help somebody before and you give them
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: some solid advice and then they turn on you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: Have you ever had that happen?
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: Have you ever went to somebody in a very very
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: sincere way to say, hey, man, I've noticed something in
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: it and I want you to consider it. And then
- 1:25:44Speaker 8: all of a sudden they turned it on you. Or
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: how you're gonna sit up and tell me how it
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: ain't happened to you. No, it didn't happen to me,
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: and I feel badly that it happened for you. But
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: if you don't let it go, you're not gonna be
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: able to move forward. I used to waste my time
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: and talk to people like that. I tried to help
- 1:26:04Speaker 8: a friend one time who kept holding on to the past,
- 1:26:07Speaker 8: actually sat down and mapped out a plan with them
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: how we would do it public ly together.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: You know what they did.
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: They turned on me. They turned all those moments of
- 1:26:18Speaker 8: help into sound bites for their little Instagram page and everything.
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: They turned everything I said to them into little stuff
- 1:26:26Speaker 8: that they wanted to further.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: They cause and it's a sad thing. So I had
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: to learn how to stop. But listen to me. For
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: those of you who will hear this, if you hang
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: on to your past, you will hinder your future. The past.
- 1:26:42Speaker 8: If you hang on to your past, it prevents you
- 1:26:46Speaker 8: from performing your maximum today, and what you do today
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: will have an effect on your tomorrow. So if you're
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: not performing at your maximum today, that means you can't
- 1:27:00Speaker 8: possibly be preparing for the future or setting up your tomorrow.
- 1:27:06Speaker 8: And so, guess what, your tomorrow continues to look very
- 1:27:11Speaker 8: much like you yesterday. You know why because that's where
- 1:27:15Speaker 8: your focus has been. If your focus is on your yesterday,
- 1:27:20Speaker 8: your future will always resemble your yesterday. If you want
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: a brighter future, let go of the past and see
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: what God has for you. Those are my closing remarks today.
- 1:27:31Speaker 8: Talk to God today. He would absolutely love to hear
- 1:27:34Speaker 8: from you, and let go of your past. It'll help
- 1:27:37Speaker 8: your future.
