about like standard adventurer boxes. And then

we go into some of the bigger platinum and legendary

boxes and celestial box upcoming. Yeah. And in

these beginning boxes, they get a lot of gold,

which thank goodness, because things have gotten

massively more expensive by the time that they're

at this point. And they have some really big

purchases coming up. In the millions, right?

Yeah, I think that they have a transaction to

upgrade their base that ends up being 5 million.

They sure have moved up in the world. They sure

have. But some of the other things that they

get from these boxes are build trench, fill trench,

and temporary water source, which is all stuff

that they need to build the base and build the

army up. Yeah, and to kind of set up their defenses

and help with some offensive things as well.

And what I think is interesting with the build

trench scrolls is that we find out that a lot

of the out of dungeon armies have to build their

own trenches and dig them by hand. Whereas the

crawlers get tons of these build trench scrolls

just for free, basically. And those trenches

are better. They're bigger. They're deeper. They're

more effective in warfare. Crawlers have to have

some advantages sometimes. Yeah. And this one

ends up being a big one. So Donut received a

platinum hell in a handbasket box. And they got

that one for simply looking at Amon at the end

of the previous floor. The box itself was shaped

like a demon head. And Mordecai says she now

has a real shield spell. Can you explain what

he means by real? Yeah, so back on the hunting

grounds floor, Donut and Carl both got tech -based

shields from some of the hunters, which they

brought into the dungeon from outside, basically.

And those tech -based shields are good and pretty

effective, but they can fizzle out after taking

a reasonable amount of damage, basically. And

with this shield spell, Donut's going to be able

to use that in tandem with her tech -based shield.

And I would imagine since it's a spell, she's

an ungodly powerful shield. She also received

the book when she is sniping enemies from her

get a little bit tedious, but they are all very

important for later on. That's a lot of important

setup for later in the series. The next box that

Donut gets is a legendary box, which is Hell

Comes to Crawler Town. It comes with a kilt,

which is very exciting. A bit of an odd joke,

but Carl does also get Bagpipes at some point.

Those seem to be some kind of connection. Obviously

something the AI is setting up over time, I would

imagine. Donut also got a spell book from this

box. And it's described as it looks as if it

had been burned. Purple wisps of smoke rose off

of it. And Donut says it smells just awful. Like

whenever you tried to burn your microwave popcorn

on purpose, Carl. This spell book gives her the

spell you're not done yet. And Mordecai is like,

holy shit, that's a terrible spell. It's kind

of like your second chance spell, but a lot more

insidious. And this spell is kind of horrifying.

It is used later in the series when there's the

giant ball of all the crawlers rolling around

and they were going to use it on a pile of dead

bodies to take out one of the enemy armies. The

whole part with the ball ended up. being the

spur of the moment thing that happened. It wasn't

a part of the original plan. So what this spell

does is for any mob or NPC or enemy combatant

that is dead, it will remove all the skin off

that body and it becomes a flesher. And once

that happens, the flesher, which is the reanimated

skin of the corpse, will seek out anything else

nearby that is living and it will... consume

that body and then it becomes a new entity in

itself. For a little while for like a couple

over by the Flesher is not going to be a target

And War Mages are very interesting because They

are not something that was made by any of the

something that was born in the dungeon and was

something that was never planned to happen. Just

kind of a naturally occurring entity. The next

box that gets opened is a large box -shaped spaceship

that floats into the room. And it was covered

people. I must admit I was skeptical at first,

but I just love it. So this is where Donut gets

her tiara of a thousand lights. This is a very

important item that she receives. I will say

that the rest of this chapter is going pretty

in -depth both into Kwan's cloak and the tiara

of a thousand lights. It has some pretty long

descriptions and it goes into the mechanics of

how these items work in great detail. We are

just going to try to hit some highlights. So

basically this is a folk tale from the crest

system and it's kind of their origin story of

a holiday that they celebrate but like most holidays

the backstory is kind of sad so it's about a

group of people who get stranded and no one can

end up doing. And eventually they get rescued.

an episode of Firefly. And I kind of imagined

that as a crossover now. It's also really funny

This tiara is fashioned after a celebration that

they do where they give the tiara of a thousand

lights to a lucky recipient who gets to wear

the tiara and sit on the pillow of lights during

their feast and celebration. Which I figure that's

either chosen by either a beauty contest or a

popularity contest. Either way would be appropriate

for Donut. It would be and makes perfect sense

for her to get it. So this tiara has 99 absorption

jewels. That allows the hat to be charged up

with other hats and basically absorb all of the

pillow that comes with the tiara. And it's noted

And some of the important mechanics to highlight

It also mentions that you can't do this with

pillow that she gets. But they do get the second

charging pillow that's sent to Donut by the Apothecary.

And so that would be some kind of loophole for

I was reading this chapter and reading about

Donut's tiara of a thousand lights, I couldn't

help but think about Carl Scavenger's daughter

vest and how they are pretty similar. It's noted

that, you know, with proper planning, Donut can

make this one of the most powerful items in Dungeon

Crawler world history. And I would imagine that

that could be similar to how powerful Carl's

vest could become. It is definitely, it seems

harder to get patches to add to his vest. Like

it hasn't been mentioned anywhere of any other

crawlers finding patches. They've never looted

a patch off of any NPCs or mobs. But with the

it can become extremely powerful. It just seems

that he only gets them from loot boxes. Plus

his vest comes with Kiss of the Scavenger's Daughter,

which Mordecai makes the comment at one point,

with Mongo's wing, which Carl says it seems he

we learn that cloak does not give user the ability

to fly. Why not? Because it has to be a upgrade

powerful. So Carl says that everyone assumed

the series, Carl has been very concerned about

does have a trick up his sleeve where he has

it's just kind of tricking the system. So her

what they decide is that Donut is going to put

are expecting. Which is exactly what ends up

and she puts on the cloak. But the cloak is tricky

and there is a lot of risk inherent in it. because

be enhanced when she puts it on. Right, so it's

she's on Mongo, or for Mongo to run really fast,

that would probably just end up killing her.

Carl is worried that Donut is going to get Fireball

So the interesting thing with the way that the

I feel like anytime there's any spell or potion

And I just want to say that Carl says that it
