- 0:01Speaker 1: Today marks a major political moment. The former First Lady,
- 0:05Speaker 1: the former Senator, and the former Secretary of State, Hillary
- 0:09Speaker 1: Clinton did sit under oath before the Republican led House
- 0:15Speaker 1: Oversight Committee as part of an ongoing congressional investigation to
- 0:20Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and his network, one of the highest profile
- 0:24Speaker 1: figures to ever testify in this probe. The deposition was
- 0:30Speaker 1: part of a broader, months long House Republican effort to
- 0:34Speaker 1: examine Epstein's activities, the Justice Department's handling over the related files,
- 0:40Speaker 1: and the connections Epstein maintained with powerful people for many years. Now,
- 0:46Speaker 1: let me just remind you of where we are right now,
- 0:49Speaker 1: before we got to Hillary Clinton. Since the release of
- 0:54Speaker 1: the Epstein files, we have seen Prince Andrew arrested, Ambassador
- 1:01Speaker 1: Mendelson arrested, Bill and Hillary Clinton now being grilled under oath.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Bill Gates has now had to cancel events and confess
- 1:12Speaker 1: to some of his indiscretions of the past. Even Obama's
- 1:17Speaker 1: lawyer resigned from Goldman Sachs. Thomas Pritzker resigned as the
- 1:22Speaker 1: Hyatt CEO. The WEF CEO also resigning. Larry Summers resigned
- 1:30Speaker 1: from Harvard. The former Norway Prime minister attempted suicide. After
- 1:37Speaker 1: an investigation was announced and Peter Attia resigned from CBS News,
- 1:45Speaker 1: many are asking who's next.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You notice we really didn't talk about anyone being arrested
- 1:51Speaker 1: in the United States of America, But at least we're
- 1:54Speaker 1: starting to get some answers to what's happening, especially with
- 1:59Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton and what did she actually have to say
- 2:02Speaker 1: under oath? I'm going to tell you, but before we
- 2:05Speaker 1: get to that, I want to talk to you for
- 2:06Speaker 1: a moment about an amazing organization, an organization that I
- 2:10Speaker 1: am have we involved with with my own dollars. It
- 2:13Speaker 1: is called Compassion International, and I need your attention for
- 2:17Speaker 1: just sixty seconds. Love, generosity, and compassion. We say those
- 2:21Speaker 1: words all the time, and they sound good, they feel good.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But here's the truth. Those words don't mean anything unless
- 2:29Speaker 1: they turn into action, and right now, not later, today,
- 2:33Speaker 1: not tomorrow. There's a child in the world who doesn't
- 2:36Speaker 1: know if they'll eat, if they'll have a chance to learn,
- 2:41Speaker 1: or if there's any hope at all. And while we're
- 2:44Speaker 1: all busy, life keeps moving forward, but that child is waiting.
- 2:49Speaker 1: This is where you come in with Compassion International. You
- 2:53Speaker 1: have the chance to change a child's future, not just
- 2:56Speaker 1: with words, not with promises, but with real help that
- 3:00Speaker 1: divides food, education, and hope through local churches and people
- 3:05Speaker 1: already in their community. Put your words into action and
- 3:10Speaker 1: join me introduce a child to a loving, heavenly father
- 3:14Speaker 1: today at compassion dot com. That's compassion dot com. So
- 3:20Speaker 1: back to Hillary Clinton. She testified under oath. Finally, she
- 3:24Speaker 1: appeared for more than six hours in a closed door
- 3:28Speaker 1: deposition before the House Oversight Committee in her hometown of Champaqua,
- 3:34Speaker 1: New York. This is among the first times a former
- 3:38Speaker 1: First Lady and a former presidential nominee has been compelled
- 3:41Speaker 1: to testify directly in an investigation tied to Jeffrey Epstein's activities.
- 3:48Speaker 1: According to multiple news outlets reporting on today's session, Clinton
- 3:53Speaker 1: said she has no information about Epstein's or is associate
- 3:59Speaker 1: Maxwell's Croment activities. She repeated that she never met Jeffrey
- 4:04Speaker 1: Epstein and could not recall ever encountering him. She insisted
- 4:08Speaker 1: she had no involvement with Epstein or Maxwell's crimes, and
- 4:12Speaker 1: that she never visited his properties or traveled on his plane.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Now this marks Clinton's strongest and most detailed public response
- 4:21Speaker 1: under oath regarding Jeffrey Epstein. So let's talk about what
- 4:25Speaker 1: she denied. Clinton emphasized repeatedly that she had no knowledge
- 4:31Speaker 1: of Epstein's criminal behavior while it was happening. She didn't
- 4:35Speaker 1: quote recall ever meeting Epstein personally, despite Epstein's files containing
- 4:42Speaker 1: various high profile names. She also defended her record on
- 4:46Speaker 1: combating human trafficking and criticized parts of the committee's line
- 4:51Speaker 1: of questioning. The deposition was briefly paused after a photo
- 4:55Speaker 1: from inside the session was also leaked by a GOP
- 4:59Speaker 1: lawmaker that violates House rules for closed hearings. Afterwards, Clinton
- 5:05Speaker 1: Democrats called for the full video and transcript to me
- 5:09Speaker 1: made public to ensure transparency and accuracy. Republicans say they
- 5:14Speaker 1: want answers about Epstein's rise, his connections, and how federal
- 5:19Speaker 1: agencies handled aspects of the case, including why some files
- 5:23Speaker 1: were withheld or redacted. Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, argue that
- 5:29Speaker 1: hearing has become quote political, and that this should focus
- 5:32Speaker 1: on transparency rather than a partisan attack. Here's the other
- 5:37Speaker 1: thing that's very interesting about what's next. Former President Bill Clinton,
- 5:42Speaker 1: who is also scheduled to testify on Friday, will be
- 5:45Speaker 1: asked similar questions. That makes this a two day key
- 5:50Speaker 1: moment in Congress's investigation into Epstein's work. I also want
- 5:55Speaker 1: you to hear Hillary Clinton out in front of the
- 5:58Speaker 1: cameras when she was asked about why was it that
- 6:02Speaker 1: Maxwell was at her daughter's wedding in twenty ten if
- 6:05Speaker 1: she doesn't know anything about these people. Not only does
- 6:08Speaker 1: she answer the question quickly, but they immediately into the
- 6:12Speaker 1: press conference after the question was asked.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Okay, James's time using and I asked, why was Colleen Maxwell?
- 6:20Speaker 4: Explore?
- 6:21Speaker 5: I thought at Chelsea Clinton's wedding in two thousand and ten,
- 6:25Speaker 5: she'd already been mentioned in a civil lawsuit by for
- 6:28Speaker 5: Junior Jewfree before that, Jeffrey Epstein has already been convicted.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Before that, she came as the plus one, the guest
- 6:37Speaker 4: of someone who was invited.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Thank you all, And just like that, Hillary Clinton walks
- 6:45Speaker 1: away from the microphone. One thing that is for sure
- 6:50Speaker 1: about all of this is at least conservatives are actually
- 6:55Speaker 1: covering the issue and conservative media. Hillary Clinton having this
- 7:00Speaker 1: day under oath saying she never met Jeffrey Epstein could
- 7:04Speaker 1: be a massive development. I want you to hear part
- 7:08Speaker 1: of what was said. On Fox News with Jesse Waters.
- 7:13Speaker 6: Foxho's alert the Epstein scandals rocking Chapaquah. Today, Hillary went
- 7:18Speaker 6: under oath and was grilled about the Clinton's relationship with
- 7:21Speaker 6: the dead pedophile. She testified behind closed doors, but the
- 7:25Speaker 6: deposition was being recorded at any minute we.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Could get the tapes.
- 7:29Speaker 6: When it wrapped, Hillary came out and said this.
- 7:33Speaker 4: I don't know how many times I had to say
- 7:35Speaker 4: I did not know Jeffrey Hepstein. I never went to
- 7:39Speaker 4: his island, I never went to his homes, I never
- 7:42Speaker 4: went to his offices. So it's on the record numerous times.
- 7:48Speaker 6: An now we're into her testimony, it went off the rails.
- 7:51Speaker 6: A photo of Hillary was leaked from inside. All hell
- 7:54Speaker 6: broke loose and Crooked's team stormed out. Hearing just went
- 7:59Speaker 6: off the record for a moment because it seems that
- 8:02Speaker 6: some of you may have seen that.
- 8:05Speaker 7: There were some photographs share on social media, which is
- 8:08Speaker 7: against Chamber of rules that were read at the top
- 8:10Speaker 7: of the meeting.
- 8:11Speaker 6: So the hearing has been paused briefly.
- 8:14Speaker 2: While they figure out where the photo came from.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Congresswoman Lauren Bobert texted the pick to the press and
- 8:22Speaker 6: Hillary complained it was against the rules. I don't think
- 8:26Speaker 6: she liked how she looked.
- 8:29Speaker 4: We had a bit of a challenge in the beginning
- 8:33Speaker 4: because we had agreed upon rules based on the fact
- 8:36Speaker 4: it was going to be a closed hearing at their demand,
- 8:41Speaker 4: and one of the members violated that rule, which was
- 8:46Speaker 4: very upsetting because it suggested that they might violate other
- 8:52Speaker 4: of our agreements.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Hillary made a faster chew up clock because she didn't
- 8:57Speaker 6: want to be there. She testified that she never met Up,
- 9:00Speaker 6: even though he'd been to the White House sixteen times.
- 9:04Speaker 6: It was supposed to be a co presidency, remember a
- 9:07Speaker 6: two for one deal. Hillary moved to her office into
- 9:10Speaker 6: the West Wing. But Hillary doesn't remember the number.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Of times that she said I don't know, you'll have
- 9:18Speaker 2: to ask.
- 9:18Speaker 8: My husband was more than a dozen, and I'll put
- 9:22Speaker 8: it like that.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Maybe they didn't meet.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Maybe they did.
- 9:25Speaker 6: But Bill does a lot of things when Hillary's not looking.
- 9:29Speaker 6: But this email's interesting. In the Epstein file, someone emailed
- 9:32Speaker 6: the sex offender quote. I know you are close with Hillary,
- 9:36Speaker 6: but if she gets the nomination and you vote for her,
- 9:39Speaker 6: I'll effing kill you. Did Hillary meet Epstein?
- 9:42Speaker 2: Maybe not, but.
- 9:44Speaker 6: We do know this.
- 9:46Speaker 4: My new Gallaine Maxwell casually as an acquaintance. But whatever
- 9:53Speaker 4: they asked me, I did my very best to respond.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Best to respond responding by saying, you'll have to ask
- 10:01Speaker 1: my husband. One thing's for sure, Hillary Clinton clearly was
- 10:05Speaker 1: willing to throw Bill Clinton under the bus. Now it's
- 10:09Speaker 1: Bill Clinton's turn to answer the questions, and his answers
- 10:12Speaker 1: are going to be very different because there's multiple photos
- 10:15Speaker 1: of him in hot tubs and swimming pools and on
- 10:18Speaker 1: planes and getting massages from women that were right there
- 10:23Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. So that will be part
- 10:28Speaker 1: two and honestly probably a much bigger part of all
- 10:32Speaker 1: of this, And we're going to have all the details
- 10:34Speaker 1: for you right here. We've got new data out about
- 10:40Speaker 1: the performance of Donald Trump as president United States of
- 10:43Speaker 1: America and the State of the Union address, and the numbers, well,
- 10:47Speaker 1: they're exactly what I expected. Donald Trump's post State of
- 10:52Speaker 1: the Union approval rating has now jumped to fifty one percent.
- 10:57Speaker 1: That isn't a poll taking entirely after the President's triumphant
- 11:02Speaker 1: say of the Union on Tuesday night. The new survey
- 11:06Speaker 1: that came out was more than one thousand likely voters
- 11:10Speaker 1: between February the twenty fourth and the twenty six and
- 11:13Speaker 1: had found that forty seven point one percent of those
- 11:16Speaker 1: polled strongly approved of the job of the president was
- 11:19Speaker 1: doing well. Three point seven percent said they approved. Trump's
- 11:24Speaker 1: disapproval ratings sits at forty eight percent, not surprising because
- 11:27Speaker 1: we're a very divided country. The number, by the way,
- 11:31Speaker 1: is made up of thirty nine point one percent who
- 11:33Speaker 1: strongly disapprove of President Trump and what he's doing. That's
- 11:37Speaker 1: your radical left, the socialist, Marxist and communists will eight
- 11:41Speaker 1: point five percent merely disapprove. Now, this poll is one
- 11:46Speaker 1: that is significant because it shows that the present obviously
- 11:50Speaker 1: did what he needed to do at that speech, talking
- 11:54Speaker 1: to Americans and making sure that he feels like Americans
- 11:58Speaker 1: have pride in their country. Part of what the present
- 12:01Speaker 1: talked about.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Two hundred and fifty years is a long time in
- 12:05Speaker 2: the life of a nation, But in other sense, it's
- 12:08Speaker 2: really a mere moment in the eye of history. Two
- 12:12Speaker 2: of the gentlemen we met in the gallery this evening
- 12:15Speaker 2: took their first breaths one century ago. One hundred years
- 12:19Speaker 2: before that, on July fourth, eighteen twenty six, the author
- 12:24Speaker 2: of the Declaration of Independence brilliant Thomas Jefferson to his
- 12:31Speaker 2: last breath. Just a single long human lifespan separates the
- 12:36Speaker 2: giants who declared and won our independence from the heroes
- 12:40Speaker 2: who stand among us tonight. Everything our nation has done,
- 12:44Speaker 2: everything we have achieved, has been the work of those
- 12:47Speaker 2: few great lifetimes. In those brief chapters, Americans built this
- 12:52Speaker 2: nation from thirteen humble colonies into the pinnacle of human
- 12:57Speaker 2: civilization and human freedom. Strongest, wealthiest, most powerful, most successful
- 13:03Speaker 2: nation in all of history. Americans ventured out across the
- 13:08Speaker 2: daunting and dangerous continent. We carved, passed through an unforgiving wilderness,
- 13:15Speaker 2: settled a boundless frontier, and tamed the beautiful but very
- 13:19Speaker 2: very dangerous wild West. From empty marshes and wide open plains,
- 13:26Speaker 2: we raised up the world's greatest cities. Together, we mastered
- 13:31Speaker 2: the world's mightiest industries and shattered histories monstrous tyrannies, and
- 13:37Speaker 2: we liberated millions from the chains of fascism, communism, oppression,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and terror. Americans lifted humanity into the skies on the
- 13:46Speaker 2: wings of aluminum and steel. And then we launched mankind
- 13:51Speaker 2: into the stars on rockets powered by sheer American will
- 13:55Speaker 2: and unyielding American pride. We wired that low with our ingenuity,
- 14:02Speaker 2: We captivated the planet with American culture, and now we
- 14:07Speaker 2: are pioneering the next great American breakthroughs that will change
- 14:12Speaker 2: the entire world. All of this and so much more
- 14:16Speaker 2: is the enduring legacy, unmatched glory of the hard working
- 14:20Speaker 2: patriots who built and defended this country, and who still
- 14:25Speaker 2: carry the hopes and freedoms on all of humanity's backs.
- 14:30Speaker 2: For years, they were forgotten, betrayed, and cast aside. But
- 14:35Speaker 2: that great betrayal is over and they will never be
- 14:37Speaker 2: forgotten again. Because when the world needs courage, daring, vision
- 14:42Speaker 2: and inspiration, it is still turning to America. And when
- 14:47Speaker 2: God needs a nation to work his miracles, he knows
- 14:51Speaker 2: exactly who to ask. There is no challenge Americans cannot overcome,
- 14:58Speaker 2: no frontier too vast for us to conquer, no dream
- 15:02Speaker 2: to bold for us to chase, no horizon to distant
- 15:07Speaker 2: for us to claim. For our destiny is written by
- 15:10Speaker 2: the hand of Providence, and these first two hundred and
- 15:15Speaker 2: fifty years were just the beginning. From the rugged border
- 15:19Speaker 2: towns of Texas to the heartland villages of Michigan, from
- 15:24Speaker 2: the sun kissed shores of Florida to the endless fields
- 15:27Speaker 2: of the Dakotas, and from the historic streets of Philadelphia
- 15:32Speaker 2: to right here in our nation's capital, Washington, d C.
- 15:36Speaker 2: The Golden Age of America is upon us. The revolution
- 15:41Speaker 2: that began in seventeen seventy six has not ended. It
- 15:45Speaker 2: still continues because the flame of liberty and independence still
- 15:50Speaker 2: burns in the heart of every American patriot. And our
- 15:54Speaker 2: future will be bigger, better, brighter, bolder, and more glorious
- 15:59Speaker 2: than ever before. Thank you, God bless you, and God
- 16:03Speaker 2: bless America.
- 16:09Speaker 1: It was that type of messaging during the City Union
- 16:12Speaker 1: that made so many Americans remember exactly why they voted
- 16:15Speaker 1: for Donald Trump in the first place. The President talking
- 16:18Speaker 1: about so many of his successes and what is happening
- 16:22Speaker 1: right now with no tax on tips, no tax on overtime,
- 16:25Speaker 1: getting rid of regulations that will over the costs of cars,
- 16:28Speaker 1: for example, all major things the President is talking about.
- 16:32Speaker 1: He also spent time talking about how important it is
- 16:35Speaker 1: that Americans aren't having to compete with massive corporations for housing,
- 16:40Speaker 1: standing up for so many Americans, and the way that
- 16:44Speaker 1: President Trump talked about it was clear he was putting
- 16:47Speaker 1: Americans first, ahead of corporations who were buying up so
- 16:52Speaker 1: many houses and making it unaffordable for many Americans to
- 16:55Speaker 1: get in the home buying process for the very first time.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Just take listen to President Trump talking about this issue
- 17:02Speaker 1: at the Say of the Union.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Make that band permanent, because homes for people, really, that's
- 17:09Speaker 2: what we want. We want homes for people, not for corporations.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Corporations are doing just fine. Racel, thank you very much.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Good luck with you. Home You'll get one, sir.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Now, this wasn't just a line that the President wanted
- 17:28Speaker 1: to deliver in the Say of the Union to check
- 17:30Speaker 1: a box. This is something the President is actually working
- 17:34Speaker 1: very hard on. The President saying this at the World
- 17:37Speaker 1: Economic Forum back at the end of January.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Home ownership has always been a symbol of health and
- 17:44Speaker 5: vigor of American society. But that goal fell out of
- 17:48Speaker 5: reach for millions and millions of people in the biden
- 17:51Speaker 5: ear because interest rates went up so high. Today, I'm
- 17:55Speaker 5: taking action to bring back this bedrock of the American dream.
- 17:59Speaker 5: In recent years, Wall Street giants and institutional investment firms,
- 18:03Speaker 5: many of you are here, many of you are good
- 18:05Speaker 5: friends of mine, Many of you are supporter. Sorry to
- 18:07Speaker 5: do this, I'm so sorry, but you've driven up housing
- 18:11Speaker 5: prices by purchasing hundreds of thousands of single family homes
- 18:15Speaker 5: and it's been a great investment for them, often as
- 18:18Speaker 5: much as ten percent of houses on the market.
- 18:21Speaker 2: You know.
- 18:22Speaker 5: The crazy thing is a person can't get depreciation on
- 18:24Speaker 5: the house, but when a corporation buys it, they get depreciation. Okay,
- 18:28Speaker 5: that's something we're going to have to think about too.
- 18:30Speaker 5: I don't know if too many people think about that.
- 18:32Speaker 5: You buy a corporation, they buy five hundred houses, they
- 18:36Speaker 5: buy hundreds of thousands, they buy five hundred houses, they
- 18:39Speaker 5: can take depreciation. A person sweats and works and buys
- 18:44Speaker 5: one house, they can't. But homes are built for people,
- 18:48Speaker 5: not for corporations. In America will not become a nation
- 18:52Speaker 5: of renters. We're not going to do that. That's why
- 18:55Speaker 5: I have signed and executive order banning large institutional investors
- 18:59Speaker 5: from buying single family homes.
- 19:00Speaker 2: It's just not fair to the public.
- 19:02Speaker 5: They're not able to buy a house, and I'm calling
- 19:07Speaker 5: on Congress to pass that band into permanent loan.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I think they will.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It's clear the President Trump has made this a priority
- 19:15Speaker 1: for the midterm elections. It's exactly why he's campaigning on
- 19:19Speaker 1: this issue, and it's exactly why, by the way, his
- 19:22Speaker 1: approval rating went up in a significant way after the
- 19:25Speaker 1: State of the Union, because not only is President Trump
- 19:28Speaker 1: saying we want to put Americans first, He's also saying
- 19:31Speaker 1: his time to stop having Congress make it harder on
- 19:35Speaker 1: you to buy a home. Donald Trump putting out a
- 19:37Speaker 1: true social tweet saying quote, for a very long time,
- 19:40Speaker 1: buying and owning a home was considered a pinnacle of
- 19:43Speaker 1: the American dream. It was the reward for working hard
- 19:47Speaker 1: and doing the right thing. But now, because of the
- 19:50Speaker 1: record high inflation caused by Joe Biden and the Democrats
- 19:54Speaker 1: in Congress, the American dream is increasingly out of reach
- 19:58Speaker 1: for far too many people, especially younger Americans. It is
- 20:03Speaker 1: for that reason and much more, that I am immediately
- 20:06Speaker 1: taking steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more
- 20:11Speaker 1: single family homes, and I will be calling on Congress
- 20:15Speaker 1: to codify it people live in homes, not corporations. I
- 20:20Speaker 1: will discuss this topic, including further housing and affordability proposals,
- 20:24Speaker 1: and more, at my speech in Davos in two weeks
- 20:28Speaker 1: and then he did it again in the State of
- 20:30Speaker 1: the Union. Trump also going after the US housing market
- 20:34Speaker 1: and talking exactly about why these corporations need to be watched.
- 20:39Speaker 1: A great example of this is after President Trump announces
- 20:43Speaker 1: banning single family home purchases by institutional investors. Within minutes,
- 20:48Speaker 1: Blackstone Stock erased as much as seventeen billion dollars because
- 20:54Speaker 1: people realize that the presence onto what's happening with his
- 20:57Speaker 1: institutional investors and now calling on Congress to ban investment
- 21:01Speaker 1: firms buying homes is exactly what the American people needed.
- 21:06Speaker 1: They needed to make sure they can take care of
- 21:08Speaker 1: themselves and become first time home buyers. That's why this
- 21:13Speaker 1: is such an important conversation and again why I think
- 21:17Speaker 1: so many Americans are like Donald Trump is my president.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I'm proud of him, and he's standing up for all
- 21:23Speaker 1: of us and trying to make it easier for us
- 21:26Speaker 1: to live in the greatest country in the world. At
- 21:30Speaker 1: least ten FBI employees who worked on former Special counsel
- 21:35Speaker 1: Jack Smith's investigation to President Donald Trump's retention of classified
- 21:40Speaker 1: records after he left the White House in twenty twenty
- 21:43Speaker 1: one were fired on Wednesday. Multiple sources are now confirming.
- 21:48Speaker 1: The firings came after Reuters reported that the FBI had
- 21:51Speaker 1: subpoena records of phone calls that were made by the
- 21:56Speaker 1: FBI director Cash Pattel and White House Chief of staffs
- 22:00Speaker 1: Zy Wilds when they were still both private citizens. As
- 22:04Speaker 1: part of Smith's probe into Donald Trump, the Biden FBI
- 22:08Speaker 1: secretly obtained Susie Wilde's phone records, including from when she
- 22:12Speaker 1: was Trump's campaign manager, and they even record a phone
- 22:17Speaker 1: call she had with her lawyer. Yes, it is an
- 22:19Speaker 1: insane story now. Patel said the collection of phone records
- 22:24Speaker 1: extended into Wilde's time as Trump's co campaign manager. He
- 22:29Speaker 1: did not say when exactly the record collection began or
- 22:33Speaker 1: when it ended. The FBI discovered the phone records and
- 22:37Speaker 1: files categorized as prohibited quote unquote, which makes them difficult
- 22:42Speaker 1: to discover on the bureau's computer system. Patel said he
- 22:46Speaker 1: recently ended the FBI's ability to categorize files as prohibited.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Smith's investigative techniques have previously drawn shock from GOP leaders,
- 22:57Speaker 1: including the seizure of phone records of US senators and
- 23:01Speaker 1: other Republican officials during Smith's probe into alleged efforts to
- 23:06Speaker 1: overturn the twenty twenty presidential election. Reuters also could not
- 23:12Speaker 1: establish when records the FBI obtained or who approved those subpoenas.
- 23:17Speaker 1: The news agency also couldn't ascertain of Pateller Wiles themselves
- 23:22Speaker 1: were actually under investigation, and if so, why now. Both
- 23:28Speaker 1: were close to Donald Trump during that period as he
- 23:31Speaker 1: built towards and ultimately launched his twenty twenty four campaign
- 23:35Speaker 1: to reclaim his presidency. Both Patel and Susy Wilde's were
- 23:39Speaker 1: known to have been interviewed by investigators as part of
- 23:42Speaker 1: Smith's investigation into Trump's retention of classified documents following his
- 23:47Speaker 1: first term and that raid at Marlago in twenty twenty three.
- 23:51Speaker 1: For example, the FBI recorded a phone call we're now
- 23:55Speaker 1: being told between Wiles and our attorney, According to two
- 24:00Speaker 1: FBI officials, Wiles attorneys was aware that the call was
- 24:05Speaker 1: being recorded and consented to it, but Susie was not.
- 24:10Speaker 1: A Spokesman for Smith to cline a comment on Betel's allegations,
- 24:14Speaker 1: as well Biden and former Attorney General Merrit Garland and
- 24:18Speaker 1: former FBI Director Chris Ray, who oversaw the Bureau during
- 24:22Speaker 1: Smith's investigations did not respond to any of the requests
- 24:26Speaker 1: for comment from the media. Garland appointed Smith as his
- 24:31Speaker 1: special counsel. Everyone buried the lead. Here is what one
- 24:36Speaker 1: person said on x It's not just that the FBI
- 24:39Speaker 1: subpoena Cash and Susie's phone records. The FBI recorded a
- 24:45Speaker 1: phone call between Wiles and her attorney. Even worse, the
- 24:50Speaker 1: lawyer knew the FBI record the conversation and didn't tell
- 24:54Speaker 1: his own client, Susie Wilds. I want you to take
- 24:57Speaker 1: a listen to this from Fox News Chain with Brett Bhaer.
- 25:00Speaker 1: As they were reporting more on the story.
- 25:03Speaker 8: The FBI director Cash Battel out with an allegation that
- 25:07Speaker 8: the prior FBI obtained his phone records, and not only
- 25:12Speaker 8: his What can tell us about.
- 25:13Speaker 7: That, Brett? This has been breaking in the last hour
- 25:16Speaker 7: or so. We are told that, according to Cash Betel,
- 25:18Speaker 7: the FBI director, the prior bureau leadership obtained his phone
- 25:22Speaker 7: records and phone records to current White House Chief of
- 25:25Speaker 7: Staff Susie Wiles back in twenty twenty two and twenty
- 25:28Speaker 7: twenty three. This eventually led into the Jack Smith Special
- 25:31Speaker 7: Council investigation into then former President Donald Trump We're told
- 25:36Speaker 7: that some of these records are just toll records, which
- 25:39Speaker 7: don't have specific information other than times and dates. They
- 25:43Speaker 7: don't have the actual content of calls. But two sources
- 25:46Speaker 7: in the FBI say that Susie Wiles's attorney agreed to
- 25:50Speaker 7: be recorded by FBI agents in twenty twenty three. She
- 25:53Speaker 7: did not agree. We've reached out to her for comment.
- 25:56Speaker 7: FBI Director Battel, in a statement to Fox News calls
- 25:59Speaker 7: this outrages and deeply disturbing. And I will add Brett
- 26:03Speaker 7: that we are told at least ten bureau employees have
- 26:07Speaker 7: been fired just today over this incident, with more potentially
- 26:11Speaker 7: to come.
- 26:13Speaker 1: You listen to the ten that were fired, and that
- 26:15Speaker 1: is a start, is what many would describe it as.
- 26:17Speaker 1: But then there's the bigger question, what happens when the
- 26:20Speaker 1: justice system collides with politics? What happens when millions of
- 26:24Speaker 1: Americans start to believe that prosecutors are no longer neutral
- 26:29Speaker 1: referees but active participants in a political war. Over the
- 26:34Speaker 1: last several years, we have watched the unprecedented targeting the
- 26:38Speaker 1: President Donald Trump, the investigations, the indictments, the subpoenas, the
- 26:43Speaker 1: grand juries, all led by Jack Smith and appointed by
- 26:48Speaker 1: the Attorney General Merrick Garland. All of this under President
- 26:51Speaker 1: Joe Biden. Now here's what the shock factor comes in
- 26:55Speaker 1: for many Americans, because the simple question is was there evendoing? Well,
- 27:01Speaker 1: the question many Americans are now asking is how did
- 27:04Speaker 1: the federal government cross this line? Jack Smith, he was
- 27:08Speaker 1: appointed in November of twenty twenty two. It was clear
- 27:11Speaker 1: it was a witch hunt. He was there to oversee
- 27:14Speaker 1: the political targeting the President Trump. They then decide to
- 27:18Speaker 1: go after him for documents at mar Lago. From the beginning,
- 27:22Speaker 1: critics argue that this was not simply a legal review,
- 27:27Speaker 1: but more of an aggressive, politically motivated prosecution of the
- 27:31Speaker 1: leading candidate to challenge Joe Biden in twenty twenty four.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Was the motive to cover for Joe Biden's cognitive decline
- 27:38Speaker 1: and make sure he didn't have to get into a
- 27:40Speaker 1: tough election with Donald Trump. That is for well different
- 27:43Speaker 1: people to decide. But to be clear, federal prosecutors and
- 27:47Speaker 1: investigators do have the authority to collect evidence when pursuing
- 27:51Speaker 1: a criminal investigation. The question is was it actually a
- 27:55Speaker 1: criminal investigation or was it just a political one. Well,
- 28:00Speaker 1: the more we're finding out it's pretty clear it was
- 28:03Speaker 1: all politics and not actually a political investigation. The President
- 28:08Speaker 1: of United States of America making it clear he wasn't
- 28:11Speaker 1: going to back down. And it's also shocking how much
- 28:15Speaker 1: abuse of power there was at the highest levels. Now,
- 28:19Speaker 1: if you think it's just Donald Trump that this is
- 28:21Speaker 1: happening too when it comes to surveillance, you would also
- 28:24Speaker 1: be wrong. In a shocking news event today, the woman
- 28:29Speaker 1: who's in charge of the Department of Homeland Security, Christy Nome,
- 28:34Speaker 1: came out and said that she found spyware on her
- 28:37Speaker 1: phone that was put there by the Department of Homeland
- 28:40Speaker 1: Security employees. Take a listen to this.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Came into this office. It was you know, Elon and
- 28:46Speaker 3: his team were extremely helpful to me. They helped me
- 28:50Speaker 3: identify that some of my own employees in my department
- 28:54Speaker 3: had downloaded software on my phone and my laptop to
- 28:58Speaker 3: spy on me stop to court our meetings. Wow. They
- 29:01Speaker 3: had done that to several of the politicals.
- 29:04Speaker 5: Wow.
- 29:04Speaker 3: And so we ended up bringing in people and and
- 29:07Speaker 3: that was something that if you didn't have those technology
- 29:09Speaker 3: experts here in the department looking at all of our
- 29:12Speaker 3: laptops and our phones and recognizing that kind of software,
- 29:16Speaker 3: it would still be happening Today's.
- 29:17Speaker 7: What happened to the individual that was uh, you know,
- 29:21Speaker 7: had your phone, uh that was being spied on? What
- 29:24Speaker 7: happened to those individuals?
- 29:26Speaker 3: Fired? Fire, brought in, polygraphed, fired, Yes, many of them
- 29:30Speaker 3: out of that that arm of the department that are
- 29:33Speaker 3: in charge of security on laptops phones. Also, you know,
- 29:38Speaker 3: we had we had to sweep my office on a
- 29:40Speaker 3: regular basis to make sure that there's not listening devices
- 29:43Speaker 3: in it. It's it's very uh, it was very prevalent.
- 29:47Speaker 3: And I think that what happened at this department was
- 29:50Speaker 3: individuals had gotten away with for years spying on people
- 29:54Speaker 3: who were politically appointed and trying to stop an administration
- 29:58Speaker 3: that was coming in and trying to fix this and
- 30:00Speaker 3: keep us safe.
- 30:01Speaker 1: You know, when you listen to what Christy Gnome just
- 30:04Speaker 1: said there, I mean it is shocking but also not surprising.
- 30:08Speaker 1: This administration weaponized everything that they could possibly weaponize, I
- 30:15Speaker 1: mean anything that could weaponize to go after their political opponents.
- 30:19Speaker 1: But think about just how corrupt this is. You have
- 30:23Speaker 1: the woman that's coming in who's in charge the Department
- 30:26Speaker 1: of Home in Security, and her own employees are putting
- 30:28Speaker 1: spyware to spy on their boss on her phone. As
- 30:34Speaker 1: the woman in charge of the Department of Homeland Security,
- 30:38Speaker 1: how does no one go to jail for this stuff?
- 30:41Speaker 1: That's the question that every American is asking right now,
- 30:45Speaker 1: and it's also a question that the President should be asking,
- 30:49Speaker 1: and that is when do we start arresting people for
- 30:52Speaker 1: doing these types of things? It's certainly something to think about. Well,
- 30:56Speaker 1: keep following this story. I can promise you that we've
