- 0:01Speaker 1: Back to back public shootings have now prompted a real question,
- 0:06Speaker 1: a real moment of reflection on the history of transgendered
- 0:11Speaker 1: mass killers. Now, the media and the left is not
- 0:15Speaker 1: going to want to have this conversation, and they're going
- 0:18Speaker 1: to say that you're being transphobic by even bringing it up.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But we need to talk about the reality that in
- 0:25Speaker 1: less than a week, eight people were murdered in two
- 0:29Speaker 1: separate public shootings, one in a Canadian school and another
- 0:35Speaker 1: in Rhode Island, committed by two self identified transgendered women.
- 0:40Speaker 1: What does that mean. It means they are men, biological men. Now,
- 0:45Speaker 1: the back to back massacres have reignited the allegations from
- 0:49Speaker 1: conservative pundits. Is how one news channel put it, that
- 0:53Speaker 1: transgendered ideology and individuals are more prone to violence, and
- 0:59Speaker 1: that the re that transgender people engage in mass shootings
- 1:02Speaker 1: is explicitly tied to their gender identity problems. Now, we
- 1:08Speaker 1: used to treat this as a mental health issue, but
- 1:11Speaker 1: no longer can you do that in this country because
- 1:13Speaker 1: there's so many in the media, Hollywood, in the left
- 1:16Speaker 1: that say that's transphobic. But hours after a fifty six
- 1:22Speaker 1: year old by the name of Robert Dorgan, also known
- 1:26Speaker 1: as roberta open fire Monday night in an ice rink
- 1:30Speaker 1: where his son was playing hockey, killing his ex wife,
- 1:35Speaker 1: one of his children, and then himself. The Democratic Rhode
- 1:39Speaker 1: Island governor made no mention of Dorgan's documented history of
- 1:44Speaker 1: mental illness or transgendered identity, instead chalking the shooting to
- 1:50Speaker 1: be another incident, as he described it, of gun violence. Now,
- 1:55Speaker 1: to be clear, Democrats don't actually want to deal with
- 1:58Speaker 1: this issue because dealing with the ishoe wouldn't mean they'd
- 2:01Speaker 1: actually have to take a different stance with the LGBTQI
- 2:05Speaker 1: plus radical community. Too many Rhode Islanders know what it
- 2:10Speaker 1: feels like to lose a love one to gun violence,
- 2:12Speaker 1: the governor said, again, not talking about the mental illness
- 2:16Speaker 1: and the transgendered identity of the shooter. The governor's brief
- 2:21Speaker 1: video message garnered strong criticism, as it should, particularly from
- 2:26Speaker 1: social media conservatives who said they've had enough Rhode Island
- 2:32Speaker 1: right on Q blaming the guns after a transgender shooter
- 2:37Speaker 1: kills family members and self in a horrific hockey arena rampage.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Another conservative put online, too many Rhode Islanders know what
- 2:46Speaker 1: it feels like to lose a loved one to gun violence.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That's the line they're going to go with. Well, to
- 2:51Speaker 1: be clear, that's exactly what they're going with now. Dorgan
- 2:56Speaker 1: underwent we now know gender reassignment surgery and ultimately causing
- 3:02Speaker 1: his wife to divorce him. According to court filings obtained
- 3:07Speaker 1: by local station WPRII, his narcissistic plus personality disorder traits
- 3:15Speaker 1: were also listed as a reason for his marriage's breakdown,
- 3:19Speaker 1: but his gener identities served as a point of contention
- 3:23Speaker 1: in court battles for years following the shooting. Dorgan's daughter
- 3:28Speaker 1: confirmed her father's suffered from mental health issues and was
- 3:33Speaker 1: quote very sick. I want you to just pause what
- 3:36Speaker 1: you're doing for the next sixty seconds, and I want
- 3:39Speaker 1: you to imagine Lucy a seven year old. Her stomach
- 3:42Speaker 1: often aches with hunger, her small hands instead of holding crayons,
- 3:47Speaker 1: not only the struggle of survival on dusty streets. School
- 3:51Speaker 1: is a distant dream, medical care forgotten, hope. Lucy's potential
- 3:57Speaker 1: is overshadowed, Her future is dim. But what if if
- 4:00Speaker 1: someone stepped in? What if there was a way to
- 4:02Speaker 1: ignite hope for children just like Lucy? Well there is,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and that is with Compassion International Partners and the local
- 4:09Speaker 1: churches that provide children holistic support. More than just food.
- 4:14Speaker 1: They receive critical medical care, life changing education, vital skills
- 4:20Speaker 1: training and spiritual development, all in Jesus's name. And you
- 4:24Speaker 1: can empower a child just like Lucy to break free
- 4:28Speaker 1: from poverty. I want you to do what I've done
- 4:31Speaker 1: and sponsor a child today. You can visit Compassion dot com.
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's Compassion dot com, which brings us to the other shooting.
- 4:41Speaker 1: On February the tenth, a guy by the name of Jesse,
- 4:45Speaker 1: an eighteen year old Canadian who has identified as a
- 4:49Speaker 1: girl since he was twelve years old, murdered his mother
- 4:54Speaker 1: and stepbrother before traveling to tumblr Ridge Secondary School, where
- 5:00Speaker 1: he shot and killed five students and one teacher. The
- 5:05Speaker 1: shooting marked the deadliest shooting in British Columbia's history. The
- 5:10Speaker 1: man was found dead of self inflicted gunshot wound. Like Dorgan,
- 5:16Speaker 1: this individual had a documented history of mental illness issues.
- 5:21Speaker 1: The Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Canadian mount Police said
- 5:25Speaker 1: that officers visited the man's home multiple occasions over the
- 5:31Speaker 1: past several years dealing with concerns of mental health with
- 5:35Speaker 1: respect to our suspect. In one instance, police sees firearms
- 5:40Speaker 1: under the Criminal Code. He was apprehended on several occasions
- 5:44Speaker 1: for assessment under the Mental Health Act. The man claimed
- 5:48Speaker 1: on a reddited account linked to him that he was
- 5:51Speaker 1: diagnosed with ADHD and OCD. He also said that he
- 5:56Speaker 1: was on antidepressants in twenty twenty three and that he
- 5:59Speaker 1: had been prescribed antipsychotics, both classes of drugs accused by
- 6:05Speaker 1: the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Junior
- 6:09Speaker 1: of causing people more likely to commit shootings. Now, regardless
- 6:14Speaker 1: of what the media in the left says, we have
- 6:17Speaker 1: clear evidence that there are far too many transshooters and
- 6:21Speaker 1: shootings that are happening in this country. Prior to these
- 6:26Speaker 1: two most recent shootings, there was another school shooting that
- 6:29Speaker 1: was committed by a trans person that occurred in August
- 6:32Speaker 1: of last year. It was a twenty three year old
- 6:34Speaker 1: Robin Westman, a transgendered woman meaning a dude. He opened
- 6:40Speaker 1: fired during a Catholic church mass killing two children, and
- 6:45Speaker 1: like the most recent transhooter, Westman had a lengthy history
- 6:49Speaker 1: of you guessed it mental illness and killed himself on
- 6:53Speaker 1: the scene in disturbing manifesto, Westman wrote that he was
- 6:57Speaker 1: tired of being trans and wished he never brainwashed himself.
- 7:03Speaker 1: The mass shooting spark national outcry and concerns about the
- 7:07Speaker 1: mental well being of trans people, prompting Democratic leaders like
- 7:11Speaker 1: the Minneapolis mayor Jacob Fry to come to the defense
- 7:15Speaker 1: of the transgender community, saying quote, I have heard about
- 7:19Speaker 1: a whole lot of hate that's being directed in our
- 7:21Speaker 1: trans community. Anybody who is using this as an opportunity
- 7:26Speaker 1: to villainize our trans community or any other community out there,
- 7:31Speaker 1: has lost their sense of common humanity. We should not
- 7:34Speaker 1: be operating out of a place of hate for anyone now.
- 7:38Speaker 1: In the wake of that Catholic church mass shooting, Charlie Kirk,
- 7:42Speaker 1: at the time, the founder of Turning Point, called for
- 7:44Speaker 1: transgender Americans to not be allowed to own guns. Of course,
- 7:49Speaker 1: that set off the trans community. Charlie Kirk even tweeted
- 7:53Speaker 1: this quote, if you're crazy enough to want to hormonally
- 7:57Speaker 1: or surgically change your sex, you have a mental disorder,
- 8:01Speaker 1: and you are too crazy to own a firearm. That
- 8:05Speaker 1: became a rallying cry for even the assassin who took
- 8:09Speaker 1: out Charlie Kirk. Tyler Robinson was in a relationship with
- 8:13Speaker 1: a transgendered woman, meaning a dude. Transgender advocacy groups accused
- 8:18Speaker 1: conservative leaders like myself, of course, of demonizing the transgender
- 8:22Speaker 1: community by telling you these facts by saying mass shootings
- 8:26Speaker 1: committed by trans people are linked to their transgenderism. Glad
- 8:31Speaker 1: pointed to the Gun Violence Archives data, saying it's just
- 8:34Speaker 1: not true. But what we do know is time after time, now,
- 8:40Speaker 1: shooting after shooting, we are witnessing now more and more
- 8:44Speaker 1: individuals who are trans who are going out there and killing.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And that is the saddest part of all, is that
- 8:52Speaker 1: the left won't look at the real mental health issue
- 8:55Speaker 1: and try to not only save the lives of the innocent,
- 8:58Speaker 1: but also the lives of the shooter. So the DOJ
- 9:02Speaker 1: has issued new subpoenas in the Russian election interference case.
- 9:08Speaker 1: But I want to take you back and remind you
- 9:10Speaker 1: quickly of what got us to where we are today
- 9:12Speaker 1: in this accountability. After the twenty sixteen election, US intelligence
- 9:17Speaker 1: agencies run by you guessed it, the radicals and the
- 9:22Speaker 1: deep state, including the FBI, the CIA, and the NSA,
- 9:26Speaker 1: concluded that the Russian government directed a broad influence campaign
- 9:31Speaker 1: targeting the US election with a goal of undermining confidence
- 9:36Speaker 1: in the democratic process and harming they say, Hillary Clinton's campaign. Now,
- 9:41Speaker 1: they assessed that the Russian president Vladimir Putin quote preferred
- 9:46Speaker 1: Donald Trump as the eventual winner, though they did not
- 9:50Speaker 1: allege precise vote tampering or directly changing the results. It
- 9:56Speaker 1: was simply done as a mind game to screw with
- 9:59Speaker 1: those on election day and forcing them into trying to
- 10:03Speaker 1: go with Hillary Clinton. Well after Donald Trump shocked the world,
- 10:07Speaker 1: the deep state decided they had to fight back, even
- 10:10Speaker 1: though the people elected him as president. Fast forward to
- 10:14Speaker 1: the Special Council Robert Mueller being appointed in twenty seventeen
- 10:19Speaker 1: to investigate both the Russian interference and whether there was
- 10:23Speaker 1: criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. Now, the
- 10:27Speaker 1: findings on the interference were pretty clear. Muller's report documented
- 10:32Speaker 1: that Russia engaged in a quote sweeping and systematic influence effort,
- 10:38Speaker 1: including cyber hacking and disinformation tactics. Then they said there
- 10:42Speaker 1: was a social media operation. A Russian organization called Internet
- 10:46Speaker 1: Research Agency or IRA ran extensive social media campaigns aimed
- 10:53Speaker 1: at sowing political division in the US and at times
- 10:57Speaker 1: amplifying support for Trump. Policies and criticism they claimed of
- 11:01Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton. And then there was the hacking and the leaks.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Russian intelligence operatives they said hacked the Democratic Party systems,
- 11:10Speaker 1: including the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and release still in
- 11:14Speaker 1: material through intermediaries like Wiki leaks. Now, at the end
- 11:19Speaker 1: of the day, what we found out was reality, There
- 11:22Speaker 1: was no criminal conspiracy. This was all made up in
- 11:25Speaker 1: a lie to attack and undermine Donald Trump and ultimately
- 11:28Speaker 1: to get Donald Trump out of office. It was a
- 11:31Speaker 1: coup to impeach Donald Trump. The Muller investigation ultimately found
- 11:36Speaker 1: no sufficient evidence that the Trump campaign or its associates
- 11:41Speaker 1: conspired in any way or coordinated with Russian government efforts
- 11:45Speaker 1: in a way that met federal criminal law standards. So
- 11:50Speaker 1: you look at that reality and just reminding you of
- 11:53Speaker 1: how we got to where we are today. And then
- 11:55Speaker 1: there's the big question of accountability. When the government went rogue,
- 12:00Speaker 1: undermine the American people, the will of the people, and
- 12:03Speaker 1: to try to overthrow a president of the United States America,
- 12:07Speaker 1: was there ever going to be accountability for that? Fast
- 12:10Speaker 1: forward to now what we are learning and you're going
- 12:13Speaker 1: to love this. The Justice Department has now issued new
- 12:18Speaker 1: subpoenas in a Florida based investigation targeting individuals who pursued
- 12:25Speaker 1: actions against then President Donald Trump, as well as examining
- 12:31Speaker 1: the US government's response to the Russian interference in the
- 12:35Speaker 1: twenty sixteen election that, according to people familiar with the matter,
- 12:40Speaker 1: an initial wave of subpoenas in November asks recipients for
- 12:45Speaker 1: documents related to the preparation of a US intelligence community
- 12:50Speaker 1: assessment that detailed a sweeping, multi pronged effort by Moscow
- 12:56Speaker 1: to help Trump defeat the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to
- 13:00Speaker 1: twenty sixteen. Now that the first subpoenas requested documents from
- 13:05Speaker 1: the months surrounding the January twenty seventeen publication of the
- 13:09Speaker 1: Obama administration intelligence assessment, the latest subpoenas seek any records
- 13:15Speaker 1: from the years since then, said that people who spoke
- 13:19Speaker 1: on condition of anonymity to the Associated Press to discuss
- 13:23Speaker 1: a non public demand from investigators. Now The Justice Department
- 13:28Speaker 1: declined to comment as well on this new breaking news.
- 13:32Speaker 1: The subpoenas represent continued investigative activity in one of several
- 13:38Speaker 1: criminal inquiries the Justice Department has undertaken, and did Trump's
- 13:43Speaker 1: political opponents. An array of former intelligence and law enforcement
- 13:48Speaker 1: officials have received subpoenas, and lawyers now for former CIA
- 13:54Speaker 1: director John Brennan, who helped oversee the drafting of the assessment,
- 13:58Speaker 1: have said they have been in formed that he is
- 14:01Speaker 1: a target, but have not been told of any quote
- 14:05Speaker 1: legally justifiable basis they claim for undertaking this investigation. Now
- 14:11Speaker 1: that brings us back to that exact story of what
- 14:15Speaker 1: happened late last year. Greta Vancestram had this to say
- 14:19Speaker 1: as she talked to Jim Jordan's about the beginnings of
- 14:23Speaker 1: this investigation.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Former CIA director John Brennan, who hates President Trump and
- 14:28Speaker 2: says Trump is a national security risk, is in hot water. Yesterday,
- 14:32Speaker 2: the House Judiciary Committee referred Brennan to the Justice Department
- 14:35Speaker 2: for criminal prosecution. Why well, the criminal referral letter says
- 14:40Speaker 2: that the former CIA director knowingly made false statements to
- 14:43Speaker 2: Congress about his alleged role in the quote Russia collusion hoax.
- 14:47Speaker 2: In the criminal referral letter to Attorney General Pan Bondi,
- 14:50Speaker 2: how Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan wrote, quote Brennan's testimony
- 14:54Speaker 2: before the Committee on May eleventh, twenty twenty three, was
- 14:57Speaker 2: a brazen attempt to knowingly and will testify falsely and
- 15:01Speaker 2: fictitiously two material facts end quote. Earlier, I spoke with
- 15:05Speaker 2: the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Mister Chairman, nice to speak to, sir.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Gonna be with you. Greta.
- 15:13Speaker 2: You have made a criminal referral to the Department of Justice.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Tell me what it is and why.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Well, I mean, you're not supposed to lie. We all
- 15:21Speaker 3: know that, and you're definitely not supposed to lie when
- 15:23Speaker 3: you're under oath talking to Congress. I mean, this is
- 15:25Speaker 3: you know this, Greta, as a skilled counselor like you are.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Eighteen USC. Section one thousand and one, you're not supposed
- 15:31Speaker 3: to do that. And it sure looks like that's exactly
- 15:34Speaker 3: what John Brennan did. He told us he wasn't involved
- 15:37Speaker 3: at all with the dossier when they put the Intelligence
- 15:39Speaker 3: Community assessment. He said he didn't want it referenced in
- 15:42Speaker 3: the Intelligence Community assessment back in twenty sixteen seventeen. And
- 15:47Speaker 3: yet because of Director of National Intelligence Tulsea Gabbert declassifying
- 15:52Speaker 3: a House Intelligence Committee's report, it looks like that is
- 15:57Speaker 3: exactly wrong what and said, because in that report, they said,
- 16:02Speaker 3: John Brennan put in writing, yes, include the dossier in
- 16:06Speaker 3: the UH in the Intelligence community assessment, And there was
- 16:10Speaker 3: a situation where one individual at the CIA approached mister
- 16:16Speaker 3: Brennan and said, Hey, this dossier doesn't stand up. The
- 16:20Speaker 3: under the underlying intelligence is just not there. It's it's
- 16:23Speaker 3: it's garbage. It shouldn't be in the report. And mister
- 16:26Speaker 3: Brennan's response was, yeah, but doesn't it seem right, doesn't
- 16:31Speaker 3: it fit? I mean, he was out to get the president.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I think that's obvious from UH from what what uh
- 16:38Speaker 3: OD and I Director Gabbard declassified and made available to
- 16:42Speaker 3: to the public. So I don't do many of these
- 16:45Speaker 3: really over the years, haven't done many referrals because I
- 16:47Speaker 3: think it's got to be really solid before you do
- 16:49Speaker 3: something like this. But this is one where I think
- 16:51Speaker 3: the the evidence is clear. Mister Brennan told us under
- 16:55Speaker 3: oath he was not involved with the dossier, it wasn't used,
- 16:58Speaker 3: when in fact it was.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Now it's very clear from what you just heard there
- 17:02Speaker 1: from Congressman Jim Jordan that the former CIA director John
- 17:05Speaker 1: Brennan is an individual who hated Trump and at all
- 17:08Speaker 1: costs was willing to do whatever it took to take
- 17:10Speaker 1: him down. And you can look at the Intelligence community
- 17:14Speaker 1: assessment that was published in the final days of the
- 17:16Speaker 1: Obama administration. It found that Russia had quote developed a
- 17:21Speaker 1: clear preference their words for Trump in the twenty sixteen election,
- 17:27Speaker 1: and that Russian President Putin had ordered an influence campaign
- 17:31Speaker 1: with the goals of undermining confidence in American democracy or
- 17:35Speaker 1: harming Clinton's chance of victory. This was all well a lie.
- 17:41Speaker 1: That conclusion and a related investigation to whether the twenty
- 17:44Speaker 1: sixteen Trump campaign concluded with Russia to sway the outcome
- 17:48Speaker 1: of the election has long been among the Republican president's
- 17:51Speaker 1: chief grievances, as it should be, and Trump vowed to
- 17:56Speaker 1: make sure that there was transparency on the issue. We
- 18:00Speaker 1: also know that the former FBI Director James Comy was
- 18:04Speaker 1: indicted by the Trump administration last year on false statement
- 18:08Speaker 1: and obstruction charges. Those cases were later dismissed. Multiple government reports,
- 18:15Speaker 1: including bipartison congression reviews, and a criminal investigation by the
- 18:21Speaker 1: former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, have found that Russia interfered,
- 18:25Speaker 1: they claim, in Trump's favor through a hack and leak
- 18:28Speaker 1: operation of democratic emails, as well as a covert social
- 18:33Speaker 1: media campaign aimed at sowing discord and swaying American public opinion.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Now all of this is now coming to a head,
- 18:43Speaker 1: and Donald Trump's administration is now freshly scrutinizing the intelligence
- 18:47Speaker 1: community's assessment, and in part because a classified version of
- 18:52Speaker 1: it's incorporated in its annex a summary of the Steele dossier,
- 18:58Speaker 1: as well as a complication of Democratic fund opposition research
- 19:03Speaker 1: that was assembled by the liar, you know, the former
- 19:06Speaker 1: British spy Christopher Steele, that would be the Still dossier,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and was provided to the FBI. That research into Trump's
- 19:14Speaker 1: potential leaks to Russia included uncorroborated rumors and salacious gossip,
- 19:21Speaker 1: and Trumps long held up that as the weakness in
- 19:25Speaker 1: an effort to make it clear that the entire Russia
- 19:28Speaker 1: investigation was a hoax from the very beginning. Now, the
- 19:32Speaker 1: investigation in Florida appears to be part of a broader
- 19:36Speaker 1: effort to revisit year's old findings and decisions from the
- 19:42Speaker 1: Russian investigation. A declassified CIA tradecraft review revealed last July
- 19:49Speaker 1: by current Director John Ratcliffe did not refute the conclusion
- 19:54Speaker 1: of Russian election interference, but found quote multiple procedural abnormality
- 20:01Speaker 1: in the intelligence community's assessment and chided Brennan for the
- 20:05Speaker 1: fact that the classified version referenced the Steel dossier, which
- 20:10Speaker 1: they knew was user generated in a lie. Finally, Brennan
- 20:15Speaker 1: testified to Congress and also wrote in his memoir that
- 20:19Speaker 1: he was opposed to including information from the dossier in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the intelligence assessment since neither its substance nor sources had
- 20:28Speaker 1: been validated, and he said the dossier did not inform
- 20:33Speaker 1: the judgments of the assessment. He continues to maintain the
- 20:38Speaker 1: FBI pushed for its inclusion. One thing's for sure, someone's lying.
- 20:45Speaker 1: More than likely a lot of people are lying. And
- 20:48Speaker 1: the big question now is will there be accountability for this? Well,
- 20:53Speaker 1: that's exactly what this investigation clearly seems to be doing,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and wanting to get to the bottom of all it
- 21:00Speaker 1: so we don't have to worry about these types of
- 21:02Speaker 1: bad actors in our government abusing their power. Moving forward,
- 21:07Speaker 1: I got to ask you a question, can you buy
- 21:10Speaker 1: real bitcoin in your retirement account? Well, if not, it's

- 23:28Speaker 1: take office in Mid february with an annual salary of
- 23:32Speaker 1: two hundred and forty three thousand. Dollars. Quote stanley will
- 23:36Speaker 1: make history in his role as the first ever formally
- 23:41Speaker 1: incarcerated person to serve as. Commissioner mundani, SAID i will
- 23:47Speaker 1: turn To stanley as we work to build a city
- 23:50Speaker 1: where justice is at the heart of our correction. System
- 23:56Speaker 1: doesn't sound like, justice but, okay we'll keep going. Now
- 24:00Speaker 1: richards previously worked as president of a nonprofit fortune society
- 24:05Speaker 1: that provides housing and other services for ex CONS i
- 24:07Speaker 1: want to be, CLEAR i have no problem with someone
- 24:11Speaker 1: running and being involved in law and order if they've
- 24:16Speaker 1: had a criminal background the past that wasn't you, know
- 24:19Speaker 1: violent or something. HORRIFIC i believe that people can be.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Rehabilitated WHAT i don't believe, in and this has nothing
- 24:27Speaker 1: to do with whether you've been to jail or, not
- 24:31Speaker 1: is if you believe that incarcerating people is somehow, evil
- 24:34Speaker 1: instead of actually incarcerating people because of the evil that
- 24:39Speaker 1: person the crimes that person. Committed there is a. DIFFERENCE
- 24:42Speaker 1: i want to be very very clear about. That, now
- 24:46Speaker 1: he worked with this nonprofit that they Say SERVICE x
- 24:49Speaker 1: Cons that's, Great, OKAY i have no issue with. THAT
- 24:53Speaker 1: i don't hold that against. Him if that's how you,
- 24:55Speaker 1: rehabilitate you come, back that's. Wonderful and what the mayor's
- 24:59Speaker 1: stand for that is actually the threat to society and
- 25:03Speaker 1: the people Of New York. City now he's also The
- 25:06Speaker 1: City department Of corrections Former Deputy commissioner Of programs And.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Operations so this guy's like knee deep in it all.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Right let me tell you his background so you understand
- 25:16Speaker 1: what we're dealing with. Here richards was convicted of robbery
- 25:20Speaker 1: in the late nineteen eighties and served two and a
- 25:22Speaker 1: half years On Rikers island before doing an additional four
- 25:26Speaker 1: and a half years in state prison, that according to news,
- 25:30Speaker 1: reports he was released in ninety. One in his, Remarks
- 25:35Speaker 1: richard Supported mandannie's progressive vision of corrections and rejected what
- 25:42Speaker 1: he described as a punishment centered approach to. Incarceration, okay
- 25:47Speaker 1: so let's be clear what that, means because that's a
- 25:50Speaker 1: lot of like new age bs, there and we're just
- 25:52Speaker 1: going to break it down what this dude and What
- 25:55Speaker 1: mondanni have. Said and this is what we Know mandannia.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Said so it's this. Again come as no. SURPRISE i
- 26:02Speaker 1: say it over and over. Again when they tell you
- 26:03Speaker 1: how crazy they, are believe, Them, okay like just believe.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Them always believe them when they show their true colors
- 26:10Speaker 1: of how insane they actually. Are what they believe is
- 26:16Speaker 1: that you should not punish someone for the crimes they,
- 26:22Speaker 1: commit but, instead in, essence you should give them like
- 26:25Speaker 1: a warm. Hug you should embrace them and be like it's,
- 26:29Speaker 1: okay little, timmy and treat them like a. Child they
- 26:32Speaker 1: don't believe if you commit a heinous crime that you
- 26:34Speaker 1: should be held accountable for that heinous. Crime that is
- 26:38Speaker 1: something they, say absolutely not all, Right like they believe
- 26:44Speaker 1: that that is just straight up, wrong and that holding
- 26:47Speaker 1: people in jail is. Wrong holding people in jail is
- 26:52Speaker 1: something that they believe is fundamentally, evil no matter really
- 26:58Speaker 1: what you've. Done that's why they go back to prison
- 27:02Speaker 1: reform and jail, reform which is what they are obsessed.
- 27:05Speaker 1: With they're obsessed with prison, reform jail, reform and abolishing the.
- 27:09Speaker 1: POLICE i want to remind, You mandonni said he wanted
- 27:11Speaker 1: to get rid of all. Police mandonni thinks that ice
- 27:14Speaker 1: officers and The gestapo, right that they're the worst people
- 27:17Speaker 1: in the. World mandanni believes that law enforcement are evil
- 27:21Speaker 1: and the bad guys are somehow. Good. Quote i'm going
- 27:25Speaker 1: to go back to this, guy all. Right today we
- 27:27Speaker 1: turn the page and we start a new era Under Mayor,
- 27:30Speaker 1: Mandanni richard. Said richard is taking over jail system in.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Crisis according to, reports in recent, years the jails have
- 27:38Speaker 1: been played with staff, misconduct, violence and drug. Overdoses at
- 27:42Speaker 1: least seventy six people died in custody between twenty nineteen
- 27:46Speaker 1: and twenty twenty, five including fifteen alone last, year according
- 27:50Speaker 1: to city. Data AND i planned to close the facility
- 27:52Speaker 1: and replace it with Similar borough based facilities has. Stalled
- 27:56Speaker 1: in the face of a rising jail population and political.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Resistance according to report By Fox, news the appointment comes
- 28:05Speaker 1: As New York city jail system remains under heightened federal.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Scrutiny earlier this, week federal judge appointed an outside remediation
- 28:14Speaker 1: manager to oversee reforms At Rikers islands after years of,

- 28:33Speaker 1: Closure plantennes would be moved to four other jails under,
- 28:37Speaker 1: construction and every borough But Staten. Island all, Right so
- 28:41Speaker 1: now you understand the, background, Right that's how you defund the.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Police this is how you do prison reform and bail.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Reform you say everything that happens is somehow bad and
- 28:51Speaker 1: evil and to the people that were actually committing bad
- 28:54Speaker 1: and evil, crimes and then you get rid of the
- 28:57Speaker 1: punishment for them and you give them A coombay islet's
- 28:59Speaker 1: hug it out. Plan that's what the, socialists communists And marxist.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Wants.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Now nearly seven years. Later here's the other thing about.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Liberals the one thing they're really good at is spending
- 29:10Speaker 1: money costs a. Balloon and the jails are not close
- 29:13Speaker 1: to being, ready all. Right so the corruption in these
- 29:16Speaker 1: new jails that they were building to Replace Rikers island
- 29:20Speaker 1: and the old jail have skyrocketed and they're not even
- 29:23Speaker 1: close to being, ready because that's what happens when you
- 29:26Speaker 1: have government corruption involved in mark my, Word i'm sure
- 29:29Speaker 1: there's plenty of, ANNs, uncles, cousins best, Friends bubba's sisters
- 29:32Speaker 1: that are getting paid on the corruption of these jails
- 29:35Speaker 1: that they're. Building the mayor says people were ready to
- 29:38Speaker 1: work with the federally appointed, manager, saying, quote my administration
- 29:42Speaker 1: has and we look forward to working with the Remediation

- 30:20Speaker 1: that Mister richards understands the dynamics and he takes on
- 30:23Speaker 1: this new role and demonstrates a commitment to putting safety
- 30:25Speaker 1: and security before political. Ideology now here's the. Problem they're
- 30:30Speaker 1: not gonna do. That why they've made it clear what they.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Believe they believe that jails are bad and we should
- 30:37Speaker 1: shut them down and close. Them they believe that bad
- 30:39Speaker 1: guys shouldn't go to. Jail they believe that the police
- 30:42Speaker 1: are the bad. Guys they believe that federal law enforcement
