- 2:10Speaker 1: When I was a writer and producer on the popular
- 2:12Speaker 1: sitcom Sister Sister, where she starts with a twin sister. Now,
- 2:17Speaker 1: let's let's just start going back years now. Now she's
- 2:20Speaker 1: a serial entrepreneur or social media influence, launched a vitamin
- 2:24Speaker 1: company called Answers, She cooked, she bakes, She's all over
- 2:28Speaker 1: YouTube and happily married with a beautiful child. Please work
- 2:30Speaker 1: with the money making conversation to start of Netflix number
- 2:33Speaker 1: one most watch family show, Family Reunion tier. Before I
- 2:45Speaker 1: say anything, I'm pretty sure you are still wearing those
- 2:48Speaker 1: awesome suits every single day, y'all. This man would show
- 2:56Speaker 1: up clean every day. You all the writers, the T shirts,
- 3:03Speaker 1: you know, Nico Blue Gene, not Rashad, not rash McDow,
- 3:08Speaker 1: not no not Reshaw. But you know what, I never
- 3:11Speaker 1: I never forgot it, you know, because it's been years
- 3:14Speaker 1: since I've known you, and that is one thing that
- 3:17Speaker 1: I just remember. You know, you always came just willing
- 3:21Speaker 1: and villing, man and correct, so well, you know, I
- 3:24Speaker 1: I thank you for that, and because you know, you
- 3:27Speaker 1: guys played an important role in my life and also
- 3:29Speaker 1: playing an important role and uh and teams, especially black
- 3:33Speaker 1: teams as young teams who basically a comming of age
- 3:37Speaker 1: story because we watch you grow Up on TV. I
- 3:40Speaker 1: I cared you guys from high school to your college
- 3:42Speaker 1: years when I was you know, which was funny, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 1: trying to look at get some riture stories here, and uh,
- 3:50Speaker 1: y'all wanted y'all realized y'all your role in life and
- 3:54Speaker 1: things like that, and and and but it was really
- 3:58Speaker 1: growing up in that bottle. It's a bottle, because a
- 4:01Speaker 1: fish bowl is some people saying and being able to
- 4:04Speaker 1: step out there and grow um as a as a
- 4:07Speaker 1: child star and then becoming an adult star. Talk about
- 4:11Speaker 1: that during a little bit before we get into the
- 4:13Speaker 1: actual a lot of different story points. I want to
- 4:15Speaker 1: talk about you all the successes to have right now.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You know, I really feel grateful and the less to
- 4:23Speaker 1: have had the parents that will have, the parents that
- 4:27Speaker 1: I have, UM during that time because as we all know,
- 4:32Speaker 1: when you're a child in this industry, it could be really,
- 4:36Speaker 1: really harsh. And the reason why I say that is
- 4:38Speaker 1: because a lot of the time you don't see these
- 4:41Speaker 1: you know, young child actors make that transition. UM. You know,
- 4:45Speaker 1: some of them end up, I mean a lot of
- 4:48Speaker 1: them ended up, you know, they were suicide, um, drug addiction.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But my mom and my dad, they really really protected
- 4:57Speaker 1: from that. And I think, if I can make this
- 4:59Speaker 1: long story, sure, what really helped was my mom used
- 5:03Speaker 1: to always tell us, do not let this business to
- 5:05Speaker 1: find who you are as a person. And it was
- 5:09Speaker 1: so beneficial to me because she made me realize that,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you know, Hollywood is very sickle, meaning one minute you
- 5:17Speaker 1: could be hot and then the next minute you could
- 5:19Speaker 1: be not hot. So if you really hold on to
- 5:23Speaker 1: defining yourself, Um, you know, with you know, having this
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know, success story at such a young age, and
- 5:31Speaker 1: then when it falls for a minute, you know, you
- 5:34Speaker 1: could find yourself into deep depression. You can find stuff
- 5:37Speaker 1: going to substance abuse and you know, suicidal thoughts. Um.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm not saying that it was easy. It was very
- 5:43Speaker 1: hard because, like I said, it happens to almost every
- 5:47Speaker 1: child actor. One minute you're on a show and making
- 5:49Speaker 1: lots of money, and then the next minute you're not
- 5:51Speaker 1: and nobody cares about you. So my mom she really
- 5:55Speaker 1: prepared us mentally to allow us to see that, you know,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you know, need to define yourself and that you know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: define yourself in your character, to find yourself in your integrity,
- 6:05Speaker 1: to find yourself in being a good, kind hearted person
- 6:08Speaker 1: and continue to work hard and go after your dreams
- 6:11Speaker 1: and never give up. And that's what really, you know,
- 6:13Speaker 1: that's what really helped me or guided me, you know,
- 6:18Speaker 1: into being you know, an older you know actor. Absolutely,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and I agree because you know, I know her mom.
- 6:25Speaker 1: She was on the set all the time. I've been
- 6:27Speaker 1: on sets with other children child child stars, and sometimes
- 6:30Speaker 1: the parents will show up. Sometimes they wouldn't show up,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and that affected these kids that I see because I've
- 6:35Speaker 1: been I've been fortunate to watch a lot of I've
- 6:37Speaker 1: been on a lot of family shows, so I've watched
- 6:40Speaker 1: children grow up into adults and disappear, or we have
- 6:44Speaker 1: very angry lives or what happened to my life get pigeoned,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and she was always there. We always had great conversations
- 6:52Speaker 1: and mean while I was wearing my stylish suits, you know,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I had my suits to mama. So this was I
- 7:00Speaker 1: really led about about what I'm seeing about your career.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You know, is that the YouTube channel? You know you
- 7:08Speaker 1: got the you know you got everybody got social media,
- 7:10Speaker 1: every media Okay, you know you're popping these supposed to
- 7:13Speaker 1: have social media. Okay, you know you got following us
- 7:15Speaker 1: and all that stuff TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. But the
- 7:21Speaker 1: the YouTube channel is where you can really when people
- 7:23Speaker 1: start following you and subscribing to your YouTube channel seven
- 7:28Speaker 1: six thousand. Yeah, it's crazy, it's crazy, you know. Like
- 7:38Speaker 1: you said, a lot of people have YouTube channels. But
- 7:41Speaker 1: for me, where I always find success is when I
- 7:47Speaker 1: am just true to who I am. I never let
- 7:50Speaker 1: anyone tell me what you know, hot, what's not right.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I always go with my gut, meaning whatever I'm going
- 8:01Speaker 1: through personally in my life, that is what I want
- 8:06Speaker 1: to portray because with that comes authenticity. So behind the
- 8:11Speaker 1: inspiration with my YouTube channel came me just wanting to
- 8:16Speaker 1: create a community where moms and just women or just
- 8:21Speaker 1: anybody in general could come together and learn, you know,
- 8:25Speaker 1: these life hacks that could get them through life. Because
- 8:29Speaker 1: especially when you're a mom, a working mom, or just
- 8:32Speaker 1: when you're juggling so many things, and you know, family
- 8:34Speaker 1: is very important to me and I don't I don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: ever want um. I don't ever want to lose that.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And so I know that when you have a busy lifestyle,
- 8:46Speaker 1: sometimes that's sacrificed, meaning spending quality time with your family.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So I just wanted to build a community where you know,
- 8:55Speaker 1: people can go to my channel to be inspired and
- 8:58Speaker 1: uplifted because I have inspirational talks on there. Um, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: you know, show my personal life meaning my my daughter's birthday. Um,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you know, just to give them joy in their lives.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And men also cooking. You know, I love, I love,
- 9:12Speaker 1: love love to cook, and for me, cooking is about
- 9:15Speaker 1: bringing the family together and creating memories because that's what
- 9:18Speaker 1: would happen with my family. And so I would find
- 9:20Speaker 1: that a lot of people just didn't know how to
- 9:23Speaker 1: do it and they were so overwhelmed and they felt
- 9:25Speaker 1: like they had to be professional chefs to get you know,
- 9:29Speaker 1: food on the table. So I said, you know what,
- 9:32Speaker 1: let me just come out with the YouTube channel called
- 9:35Speaker 1: Tamor's Quick Fix. And again this was all me, like hounding,
- 9:38Speaker 1: like I'm the person where the reason why I have
- 9:42Speaker 1: the career that I have to is because I don't
- 9:44Speaker 1: give up number one and I hound, I tell people
- 9:47Speaker 1: what I want. I don't wait for people to you know,
- 9:51Speaker 1: do something for me. I learned that at a young age,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you know that if I want something, I have to
- 9:55Speaker 1: go out and get it myself. So I you know,
- 9:59Speaker 1: created the YouTube you just for that, so people could
- 10:02Speaker 1: you know, be inspired and uplifted and just have the
- 10:05Speaker 1: safe community that they can you know, talk to and
- 10:08Speaker 1: share stories and learn. It's powerful and it's powerful and
- 10:11Speaker 1: a lot of people understand that when I when I,
- 10:13Speaker 1: like I said, interview people a lot at least you know,
- 10:16Speaker 1: five people every week, and as entrepreneurship is entertainment. And
- 10:21Speaker 1: I did not look at you know, here's the deal.
- 10:23Speaker 1: She was born with a twin okay, and so her
- 10:27Speaker 1: sister was passionate about acting. You know, your new deal.
- 10:30Speaker 1: When you hit that set, where's the script? And I
- 10:34Speaker 1: knew because we were to talk, we should talk. You know,
- 10:36Speaker 1: we just go out to dinner. Sometimes it took you
- 10:38Speaker 1: to the shark Ball, y'all, to the Shokball and and so.
- 10:47Speaker 1: But you were still defining who you were. You know,
- 10:50Speaker 1: you had the talent to do. You was on a
- 10:52Speaker 1: successful show. But I could always tell that really wasn't
- 10:55Speaker 1: your passion because you had to find something else. And
- 10:59Speaker 1: now acting there's part of your passion. But when you
- 11:02Speaker 1: have all these talents, that's when I look at this
- 11:05Speaker 1: YouTube channel. I smiled the most till on the YouTube
- 11:08Speaker 1: channel because I know you that's you, that's your line,
- 11:15Speaker 1: that's your passion that's come here. This is not a script,
- 11:19Speaker 1: this is not a sitcom, this is not a reality show.
- 11:22Speaker 1: This is me and seven hundred and twenty six thousand
- 11:25Speaker 1: and counting have said we love you. Yes, yes, yes,
- 11:31Speaker 1: you know. We also have a Facebook channel and on
- 11:34Speaker 1: the so all together with the timor quit six hub
- 11:37Speaker 1: or community, we have about two point four million followers,
- 11:42Speaker 1: so we have one point for yes, we have one
- 11:45Speaker 1: point four million followers on Facebook and we haven't we
- 11:48Speaker 1: haven't even hit three years yet. It's just like two
- 11:51Speaker 1: two and a half year. We have one point four
- 11:53Speaker 1: million followers on Facebook, and then we're at like four
- 11:56Speaker 1: hundred and fifty something thousands on Instagram. But you're absolute right,
- 12:00Speaker 1: And you know, um, I was looking at Will Smith's
- 12:05Speaker 1: you know, YouTube channel, and he was I was reading
- 12:08Speaker 1: something about him and he was saying that and I
- 12:10Speaker 1: resonated because he was saying that he really really loved
- 12:13Speaker 1: doing his YouTube channel. Because again, there's no scripts, nobody's
- 12:16Speaker 1: telling you what to do. I get to take controls
- 12:20Speaker 1: of what I want, what my content is, and I
- 12:24Speaker 1: know my audience more than anybody anybody, and I'm given
- 12:31Speaker 1: the power to be able to, you know, create what
- 12:37Speaker 1: I believe my fans will like and also create what
- 12:40Speaker 1: I like to do. So that's what you're saying. You're
- 12:42Speaker 1: seeing that authenticity, You're seeing that enthusiasm, you're seeing mia
- 12:47Speaker 1: you know, and it's great to be able to tap
- 12:49Speaker 1: into that and that that's what that that's why I
- 12:51Speaker 1: wanted to start with that. Just let you know that. Uh.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I love watching it. I love watching your smile. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: love the difference in there. You know, you looking, you baking, you,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you have your your birthday part you. You know, that's
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's like if you was on the network, you can't
- 13:05Speaker 1: do that. Stick to the bow. You can bake one
- 13:08Speaker 1: episode and motivate the next episode. You can't do that.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Not only that. No, and let me tell you something
- 13:16Speaker 1: Bill with you Okay, So you know I had a
- 13:20Speaker 1: cooking show. I had a cooking show cooking channel which
- 13:24Speaker 1: yeah with U called Tamore at Home and it was
- 13:27Speaker 1: on the sister network of Food Network and what was
- 13:30Speaker 1: so it lasted for three years. But what was so
- 13:32Speaker 1: interesting was and what I've learned as a businesswoman is
- 13:37Speaker 1: when you're on somebody else's show, you're having to have
- 13:40Speaker 1: to tap into their brand. So I had to tap
- 13:43Speaker 1: into the Food Network brand, which was and is predominantly
- 13:48Speaker 1: Middle America, which is fine and which is okay, But
- 13:52Speaker 1: like I said, I really know where my my audiences.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I know how old they are, I know the demo graphic,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and so it becomes a little stifling when you have
- 14:04Speaker 1: to put yourself in some sort of you know box,
- 14:08Speaker 1: because I would want to do certain recipes and they're like, sorry,
- 14:12Speaker 1: we can't do that recipe because it doesn't cater to
- 14:14Speaker 1: such and such and such, and I'm like, I know,
- 14:19Speaker 1: but but see, that's what's so beautiful about having your
- 14:24Speaker 1: own YouTube connel. You're able to come on to build
- 14:27Speaker 1: your lady false ye, but yeah, but it's so beautiful
- 14:39Speaker 1: that you know, you know, all I do is marketing.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I do marketing and branding and looking at individual talents,
- 14:45Speaker 1: and I just see that you know that that's that's
- 14:47Speaker 1: a mature decision because that's what I love about watching
- 14:51Speaker 1: you grow because I think two weeks ago, use seven
- 14:55Speaker 1: two thousand subscribers and listen to much. I'm just telling
- 14:58Speaker 1: you that's crazy. I mean, that is oh, that is
- 15:02Speaker 1: like people sharing. That means when you because you know
- 15:05Speaker 1: our YouTube works like this, what happens is it? Since
- 15:07Speaker 1: our notifications every time you upload a video. That's how
- 15:10Speaker 1: YouTube works, and so then people will share these videos
- 15:13Speaker 1: and to be inspired. And so I just I just
- 15:16Speaker 1: know that when I when I see you taking control
- 15:20Speaker 1: of your brand and being able to have something to
- 15:22Speaker 1: say about your brain, that's powerful. Dude, I stop, and
- 15:25Speaker 1: I don't want you to stop, television, but it's always
- 15:28Speaker 1: nice to be somewhere. Said, you know something, I feel
- 15:30Speaker 1: like baking the day and I feel like go out
- 15:34Speaker 1: there and stand up for your rights. I feel like
- 15:36Speaker 1: talking to entrepreneurs today. I feel like, you know something,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I feel like going shopping and putting go prol on
- 15:42Speaker 1: my head and go shopping. Okay, yes, yes, because you
- 15:45Speaker 1: know what, don't all sever Sean, It comes from excuse me?
- 15:49Speaker 1: For me, it comes from inspiration because I know that
- 15:52Speaker 1: there are a lot of people out there that our
- 15:56Speaker 1: moms and that are juggling um that want to know
- 16:00Speaker 1: how to cook or want to know how to how
- 16:03Speaker 1: do you get around the growth store? So for me,
- 16:05Speaker 1: it's about showing how I do it so I can
- 16:08Speaker 1: inspire somebody else to do it. You know what I mean? Yeah,
- 16:12Speaker 1: like you said, it kind of becomes that chain effect,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and then when people are inspired, they're like, okay, well
- 16:17Speaker 1: let me follow this girl, you know, because I can
- 16:19Speaker 1: learn something from her, and then you know, you know,
- 16:21Speaker 1: you know something. It becomes more than just being a fan.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It's not a fan anymore. You know, you're you are expert,
- 16:28Speaker 1: you are a person that you know what I'm saying
- 16:30Speaker 1: it Really it becomes that you become you becomes an influence,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and influence is a very powerful term, and it's not
- 16:38Speaker 1: being a follower. That means people value your your thoughts,
- 16:42Speaker 1: value the direction, value your opinion, and that's all we
- 16:46Speaker 1: have a want out of life. Because as an actor,
- 16:49Speaker 1: you know, I'm just going to be truthful about this
- 16:51Speaker 1: because sometimes you know, if you're out there just and
- 16:53Speaker 1: you want an oscar people were you a great actor?
- 16:56Speaker 1: You know, she's really funny, comedian, he's a great singer.
- 16:59Speaker 1: When YouTube channel and YouTube, it's a different message. Okay,
- 17:05Speaker 1: you're right, You're absolutely right, you're right. And you know,
- 17:13Speaker 1: if we were to get really technical technical, it's actually
- 17:18Speaker 1: harder to build a YouTube audience because of that, you
- 17:24Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like, it's harder for people to
- 17:27Speaker 1: follow um to get that follower from a YouTuber um
- 17:32Speaker 1: as opposed to you know, on Facebook or on Instagram.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So you know, I'm very very happy and very pleased
- 17:41Speaker 1: with you know what we're doing over at you know,
- 17:43Speaker 1: Timor's Quick Fix, and you know we have some other
- 17:46Speaker 1: really cool ideas that um I can't share right now.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But you know, cut back too, right now, you got
- 17:53Speaker 1: to come back on my show. That's what that means.
- 17:55Speaker 1: You know what. Let's let's talk about cook because I
- 18:00Speaker 1: brought you the shore talking about this book that I've
- 18:02Speaker 1: asked im. He sent me the book. You know, a
- 18:05Speaker 1: whole new view, whole new view. Okay, you know I
- 18:09Speaker 1: can cook. I'm just let you know. Your boy flying
- 18:11Speaker 1: with the suits, but your boy flying the kitchen too, okay,
- 18:13Speaker 1: Award winning baker, you know that about you. I didn't
- 18:17Speaker 1: know what either. I didn't know it to twelve. Okay,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'll just let you know. Okay, so and so and
- 18:22Speaker 1: so I went through the book and I've already tried
- 18:25Speaker 1: some recipes. Okay. I'm gonna just tell you. I am
- 18:28Speaker 1: a nut for the season for Caeeson salads. Okay. So
- 18:31Speaker 1: when I saw Seeson salad has to be my all
- 18:35Speaker 1: time favorite salad. And when I saw season, yes, it's that.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It's that little salty taste that you can get in.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And you know what I'm saying, and it's it's a
- 18:45Speaker 1: very simple. It's very simple. You just put the leaders,
- 18:49Speaker 1: drop a tomato in there. You're happy. You're happy. That's
- 18:52Speaker 1: a season salad. You know. Cream spinach's. Secondly, whenever I
- 18:57Speaker 1: go out to a steakhouse, I always ordered the spinach.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I have never seen the rest. I'm not saying that.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Maybe maybe I just wasn't looking. But when I saw
- 19:05Speaker 1: cream spinach in your cookbook, your boy was super happy.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Now this was this when you won't cut you on
- 19:11Speaker 1: my girl, you want to cut you on me? And
- 19:12Speaker 1: I made him. I ate him for lunch today, Smoky
- 19:15Speaker 1: collar dreams. Yes, oh my gosh, that is my day.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Ate up for lunch today. Made him last night. I
- 19:26Speaker 1: had just had for lunch. I had me some I
- 19:28Speaker 1: have had me some corn bread, okay. I had me
- 19:32Speaker 1: some macaron and cheese okay, And then you know I
- 19:35Speaker 1: can make me I got a meme mac and cheese.
- 19:40Speaker 1: You know what, you know what the key to the
- 19:43Speaker 1: macintee cream of mushroom. And they ever tried cream of mudroom, No,
- 19:48Speaker 1: I have, no, you have to it. So I just
- 19:54Speaker 1: got your book. I just got it this week. Okay,
- 19:57Speaker 1: well that well, that's that's not the mac and cheese
- 20:00Speaker 1: is not in this book. But you can find my
- 20:01Speaker 1: mac and cheese online. So just look. Here's the funny
- 20:07Speaker 1: he's he's the cool thing about now. You never follow
- 20:10Speaker 1: my Facebook, but I got like I'm not tia. Okay,
- 20:13Speaker 1: I got like about eight hundred Facebook followers. Okay, but
- 20:17Speaker 1: but I'm a foodie though. Okay, Like on Tuesday, I

- 20:26Speaker 1: me because she posts her favorite recipes and then on
- 20:30Speaker 1: then on then I do uh Rushawn eats on Wednesday,
- 20:34Speaker 1: and then on Saturday Patty LaBelle. She she has sent
- 20:37Speaker 1: me videos and I post some of her favorite videos
- 20:40Speaker 1: that she's cooking in. So tie, if you don't mind,

- 20:47Speaker 1: you say anything that's posted with food, you go, this
- 20:50Speaker 1: is crazy. They just love this dude. When he's holding
- 20:52Speaker 1: the cake. I would love that. I love that, And
- 20:58Speaker 1: you know, I tell you make my brain all the time.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And I actually have another recipe onto you More's quick Fix.
- 21:05Speaker 1: That's a shorter version where you don't have to you know,
- 21:07Speaker 1: kind of um cook them for like three to four hours.
- 21:10Speaker 1: It's actually a shorter version. And during this quarantine, I've
- 21:13Speaker 1: made it several times and I put some bacon bits
- 21:16Speaker 1: like I make, um, you know, I cut some bacon,
- 21:19Speaker 1: cut up some bacon, and I, you know, sallte that
- 21:21Speaker 1: up to they're really nice and crispy, and then I
- 21:23Speaker 1: throw that like just bring it all over the collar greens. Oh,
- 21:29Speaker 1: let's face because because it is such a weird conversation
- 21:34Speaker 1: in a good way, because we're just talking and we
- 21:36Speaker 1: actually doing to interview here, you know that, right, we're
- 21:38Speaker 1: not on the sofa. Now, we're not We're not on

- 23:39Speaker 1: dot Ai. Here's something that really called my eye. I
- 23:42Speaker 1: am set a huge fame. We're talking about your cookbook.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Whole new you. Okay, roasted and beat salad girl, you
- 23:49Speaker 1: know how what a nut I am for beat? I really,
- 23:54Speaker 1: my god. I love going to restaurant. But every restaurant
- 23:58Speaker 1: can't do beat, you know, make them into these big
- 24:01Speaker 1: old chunks. And I go, really, yes, really? You you
- 24:06Speaker 1: have to like carrots? Yes, okay, you have to try
- 24:10Speaker 1: the the roasted rainbow care at Specialty. I make that
- 24:14Speaker 1: several times and that's so good too. The thing about
- 24:17Speaker 1: me and whenever I cook and if you follow you
- 24:20Speaker 1: know fumres quick fix or if you um, you know,
- 24:24Speaker 1: look through my cookbook. And then the main thing about
- 24:26Speaker 1: this cookbook is, you know, I wrote it and I
- 24:30Speaker 1: was inspired because I was dealing with something called endometriosis.
- 24:33Speaker 1: And I absolutely love food. But when you have a
- 24:35Speaker 1: highly inflammatory condition like endometriosis, you have to stay away
- 24:38Speaker 1: from certain foods that exacerbate the inflammation in your body.
- 24:41Speaker 1: But for me, I love food. So my point is
- 24:45Speaker 1: is that even though it's healthy, it has to be
- 24:48Speaker 1: very tasteful. It has to have flavor. So that's one
- 24:52Speaker 1: thing about you know, these recipes that you will see
- 24:56Speaker 1: that it's you know, instead of using regular milk, it
- 24:59Speaker 1: was use you know, non dairy alternative um. But you
- 25:04Speaker 1: will not be sacrificing on that labor. So my point
- 25:07Speaker 1: is is that the beat the caesar salad and the carrots,
- 25:11Speaker 1: even though those are like we're on the healthier side,
- 25:14Speaker 1: they're so finger looking good because you know, there's a
- 25:18Speaker 1: lot of flavor in there. I throw that in there.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I'm just I'm just going through word. This is a
- 25:24Speaker 1: quick it's tears quick fix. This is rashwan quick look
- 25:28Speaker 1: in the in the cookbook. Okay, okay, and the and
- 25:31Speaker 1: to close it out, you really you really shut me
- 25:34Speaker 1: down with the classic hammas. Oh my god, oh yes,
- 25:38Speaker 1: oh yes, oh yes, I love hammas. I love hammas.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I will eat that yet, Saiki to Oh my god,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you put them to in front of me, girl. I'm on,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm on a diet, but I'm
- 25:52Speaker 1: eating like I'm on a diet. No. Yeah, And you know, Homas,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you can, you know, you can do it so many
- 25:57Speaker 1: you know, different things. Um and and you know what
- 26:01Speaker 1: I like to do is I just like to create
- 26:03Speaker 1: some sort of like a snack, you know what I mean.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I'll do the hummed and then I'll chop up some
- 26:09Speaker 1: cucumbers with some carrots, and then I'll put you know whatever,
- 26:12Speaker 1: all of the choice that you like, and then you
- 26:14Speaker 1: even can throw some crassers in there. And that's what
- 26:16Speaker 1: you can put hummus on. Or sometimes what a lot
- 26:17Speaker 1: of people do is they used to pea bread. But
- 26:19Speaker 1: that right there is a very healthy, feeling delicious meal
- 26:24Speaker 1: or snack. But not only that. You realize when you
- 26:27Speaker 1: buy hummus from the grocery store, those things, especially when
- 26:31Speaker 1: it's organic, could be like around five six dollars when
- 26:34Speaker 1: you make the hummics to yourself, you can, you know,
- 26:37Speaker 1: add more salt, more garlic or whatever you want and
- 26:41Speaker 1: it's cheaper. So I have a big old bowl, I
- 26:45Speaker 1: put some, I put it a cap on it, I
- 26:48Speaker 1: put it, slide it in the cent a share for
- 26:50Speaker 1: the refrigerant, and just be eaten. I just now see
- 26:55Speaker 1: when you make your all harmless, it's never a small
- 26:57Speaker 1: portion you make homes. It's humble. You do. You get
- 27:01Speaker 1: your celery stick. Okay, get that celery. I'll be eating.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So I know your boy Rashaan is happy. Okay, Okay,
- 27:09Speaker 1: we've got a few minutes left. We've got a few
- 27:11Speaker 1: minutes left. We gotta talk about this wonderful family reunion.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It's some other things we can talk about, but I
- 27:16Speaker 1: know I cannot leave this. Talk about the sitcoms on Netflix,
- 27:19Speaker 1: and I'm one most watched family show. A good friend
- 27:22Speaker 1: of mine who I mentor, Anthony Hill, is one of
- 27:25Speaker 1: the producers on this show. That's my young girl, that's
- 27:28Speaker 1: my youngster. Okay, and uh, I'm so proud of him.
- 27:31Speaker 1: When I watched his growth, he was from Houston, Texas,
- 27:34Speaker 1: and he came up to one day he said, I
- 27:35Speaker 1: want to be a writer. I said, while you're standing
- 27:37Speaker 1: in Houston talking to me, Okay, he's not just watching success,
- 27:42Speaker 1: he's on your show. So I feel I have an angel,
- 27:46Speaker 1: you know, looking out for you. Even though I like
- 27:48Speaker 1: many years ago in the nanties, I was looking out
- 27:50Speaker 1: for you and watching you grow. And you can you
- 27:52Speaker 1: see him watch you as adults. I caught you with
- 27:55Speaker 1: a teenager going to college. Now you're mama, now your
- 27:59Speaker 1: mom on He got you as a mama, I know,
- 28:06Speaker 1: but not just any mama. Okay. Shout out to Anthony
- 28:11Speaker 1: because and that's so cool to know that you mentored him,
- 28:14Speaker 1: because he is huh hilarious. He has me laughing so
- 28:19Speaker 1: hard on set. He's funny, and it's the blessing to
- 28:24Speaker 1: have him, you know, on on set. But you know,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I do play a mama, but not any old kind
- 28:30Speaker 1: of mama. Anthony keeps me cool. He SEPs me the
- 28:33Speaker 1: fun cool, you know, stylish mama. I know, I know
- 28:40Speaker 1: you want to know that's my mama. You know, you
- 28:42Speaker 1: wouln't know that's my mama. You and you know you
- 28:44Speaker 1: tell your mama, you know. Yeah, but it's great, and
- 28:50Speaker 1: were talking about that. We're talking about their Family Union,
- 28:52Speaker 1: which is on Netflix. When I see names like Richard Rowntree,
- 28:56Speaker 1: I see names like Loretta Divine, I see names like
- 29:01Speaker 1: on a show with that much working history. Yeah, yes,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I am in heaven every single day. Like I love
- 29:11Speaker 1: going to work. And Loretta Divine. I always say, this
- 29:15Speaker 1: is so cliche, but she is so divine. She's taught
- 29:18Speaker 1: me what's so amazing about her as an actress is
- 29:20Speaker 1: it's not only as an actress, just as a woman,
- 29:22Speaker 1: a black woman being in this business. She's taught me
- 29:26Speaker 1: how to She's gentle, you know what I mean. Like,
- 29:29Speaker 1: Loretta Divine is so divine. But when she sees something
- 29:35Speaker 1: that she doesn't agree with, when she's feeling something that
- 29:38Speaker 1: she will stand up. And I just love to witness that.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And I tell her that all the time because you
- 29:45Speaker 1: know she has to yourself. But I said, the sport
- 29:49Speaker 1: to it when she like really like stands up for
- 29:53Speaker 1: what she believes in. And you know, I've been in
- 29:55Speaker 1: this business for such a long time, and I'm gonna
- 29:59Speaker 1: be very honest with you from an after standpoint, I
- 30:02Speaker 1: never had that strength. I'm saying, I don't. I don't
- 30:08Speaker 1: know if this is working for me or I feel
- 30:10Speaker 1: like like she's you know, and of course she's earned
- 30:13Speaker 1: it because she's a legend um. But it's so beautiful
- 30:17Speaker 1: to see her just command of seeing command of the stage,
- 30:22Speaker 1: just you know, be in her presence. And then Richard Richard,
- 30:26Speaker 1: when I say this is the coolest man that he
- 30:31Speaker 1: this man and I'm not kidding, he has a cigar
- 30:35Speaker 1: and he walks around with a cigar. And what I
- 30:38Speaker 1: love about him is, you know, we share trailer, so um,
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm on one side, he's on the other side. And
- 30:44Speaker 1: so whenever I come outside, I see him just sitting
- 30:46Speaker 1: in his chair, just smoking his cigar and just laid
- 30:48Speaker 1: back and chill and as ever he is just And again,
- 30:53Speaker 1: this thing that I love, what I've learned about Richard
- 30:57Speaker 1: as an actor is if he just has one line,
- 31:01Speaker 1: you could tell that there's a huge story about that
- 31:05Speaker 1: one line that he's given himself. And and I'll give
- 31:10Speaker 1: you an example that and I haven't even told him this,
- 31:12Speaker 1: but maybe I should. He was explaining pie, you know,
- 31:17Speaker 1: and just the way that he used his body and
- 31:21Speaker 1: his body what I mean by body is as an actor,
- 31:23Speaker 1: like his body language, you could tell that he was
- 31:26Speaker 1: tasting this pie and he had history with this pie
- 31:30Speaker 1: when he just mentioned I and I'm like, I picked
- 31:34Speaker 1: that up. As an actor, I was like wow, Like,
- 31:38Speaker 1: of course, with the with the script, you always have
- 31:39Speaker 1: a backstory and you always know what's going on within
- 31:43Speaker 1: the script. But he goes even deeper and you could
- 31:47Speaker 1: tell that there's experience in history with whatever is coming
- 31:50Speaker 1: out of his mouth. And I think that's what makes
- 31:52Speaker 1: it so grounding and that's what makes him just such
- 31:54Speaker 1: an incredible actor. But as a person, he is, he is,
- 31:57Speaker 1: he's really chaff, you know, you know, I you know,
- 32:03Speaker 1: you know we were talking your I I want these
- 32:05Speaker 1: folks to think I'm talking in town, up your time,
- 32:08Speaker 1: but to uh you know, you know, as I said,
- 32:11Speaker 1: are you know we talked about the vitamin company. We'll
- 32:13Speaker 1: talked about that next time and away, but I want
- 32:14Speaker 1: to get that out. Let me just get the vitamin out.
- 32:17Speaker 1: So anyway, so I have a supplement line called answer right,
- 32:21Speaker 1: I can do this very quickly. So again, everything that
- 32:25Speaker 1: I do is because I want to inspire, and I inspired.
- 32:28Speaker 1: What inspired me and motivated me to come out with
- 32:31Speaker 1: this line Number one was my personal health history with indometrios.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Is I already touched on that UM. But you know
- 32:38Speaker 1: how I was able to make the symptoms just become
- 32:42Speaker 1: suppressed and just you know, developed this wellness was I
- 32:46Speaker 1: changed my diet, I started to take supplements, I started
- 32:49Speaker 1: to meditate, I started to exercise, and I saw a
- 32:52Speaker 1: huge shift in my wellness in my house. While I
- 32:55Speaker 1: was on this journey, I didn't see representation. I did
- 32:57Speaker 1: not see women of color. I did not the diversity
- 33:00Speaker 1: at all. So I wanted to change that. I was like,
- 33:04Speaker 1: not on my watch. So I decided to come out
- 33:07Speaker 1: with a supplement line called Answer to encourage UM and
- 33:10Speaker 1: to inspire women to take back and charge of their health.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It's called Answer, insinuating you are the Answer. After my
- 33:19Speaker 1: surgeries with endometriosis, my doctor was like, Yotia, there's nothing
- 33:23Speaker 1: I can do. You kind of have to start looking
- 33:25Speaker 1: at your lifestyle. And that's exactly what I did, and
- 33:28Speaker 1: I want to encourage other you know, women and people
- 33:31Speaker 1: do it the same. We have a women's multi we
- 33:33Speaker 1: have an elder Berry which helps with immunity. We have
- 33:36Speaker 1: a kid's gummy which happens to be my children's favorite.
- 33:39Speaker 1: We have a men's line, we have a beauty supplement
- 33:43Speaker 1: um or beauty formula, and we're going to be coming
- 33:45Speaker 1: out with several other amazing um supplements in July and August.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But you know, you know, the key takeaway here is again,
- 33:55Speaker 1: I've learned to take charge of you know, me being
- 33:59Speaker 1: this entrepreneur entrepreneurs, I've learned to take charge of what
- 34:02Speaker 1: I want to see in the world. I want to
- 34:05Speaker 1: be that person to make change instead of waiting for
- 34:08Speaker 1: someone else to make that change. Um. Still there, you
- 34:12Speaker 1: have it. Wow. You know I'm proud of you know,
- 34:15Speaker 1: I'm proud of your girl. You know, little baby, little baby,
- 34:19Speaker 1: little baby. I'm proud of you. And here's the He's
- 34:22Speaker 1: the blessing, here's the blessings. Come, come, come and wrap
- 34:24Speaker 1: it up in a wrap. I got an eighty thousand
- 34:26Speaker 1: fan club members. I didn't tell you about that. Every

- 34:35Speaker 1: with a bad I had my staff created today. It's
- 34:37Speaker 1: gonna go out tomorrow. It's gonna be a click through.
