- 2:04Speaker 7: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and all this Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 7: a radio show, Man one more time. Steve Harvey got
- 2:13Speaker 7: a radio show. Yeah, I do, man, I thank God
- 2:17Speaker 7: for it every day.
- 2:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 7: My message this morning, Man's real clear. It's something that's
- 2:24Speaker 7: been on me to share. And it's amazing. You know,
- 2:33Speaker 7: God can do some amazing things for you. But what
- 2:38Speaker 7: happens along the way is and I don't know that
- 2:41Speaker 7: I mean to say, but but the fact that God
- 2:45Speaker 7: can do some amazing things for you, that comes adversity
- 2:49Speaker 7: along with it. Every single time, it just goes without saying.
- 3:00Speaker 7: And I've uh I was having a a faily. I mean, well,
- 3:05Speaker 7: not fairly, but a hugely successful week. I had never
- 3:09Speaker 7: seen this type of hatred before. I hadn't seen it.
- 3:16Speaker 8: And it was.
- 3:16Speaker 7: It's a great trick that the devil does, you know,
- 3:19Speaker 7: when when God is blessing you and giving you some
- 3:22Speaker 7: some some great opportunities in your life as all of
- 3:25Speaker 7: you have gone through, and it is isn't it amazing
- 3:28Speaker 7: how some negative thing crops up? And that's what you
- 3:32Speaker 7: have to focus on. I found out that I don't
- 3:35Speaker 7: have to, but you wind up focusing on it and
- 3:38Speaker 7: your energy goes over to that to try to deal
- 3:41Speaker 7: with it, counteract. Wonder why it was happening. You got
- 3:44Speaker 7: to make phone calls, what was this about? Blah blah
- 3:47Speaker 7: blah blah blah, and and it and it, and it
- 3:49Speaker 7: throws you off the course you are on the beginning
- 3:53Speaker 7: of the week. I was so grateful, I was so amazed.
- 3:57Speaker 7: I was really thanking God for opportunity. But this brief moment,
- 4:01Speaker 7: the enemy slides this little factor in that it causes
- 4:06Speaker 7: you and it requires your attention. You have to pay
- 4:09Speaker 7: it attention because you don't know what you're going. Wow, man,
- 4:12Speaker 7: let me see what this could really be? How much
- 4:15Speaker 7: dirt is this really that they're trying to do? And
- 4:18Speaker 7: so it requires your attention, But in that attention, you
- 4:23Speaker 7: lose your focus on really all the blessings and the
- 4:26Speaker 7: good thing that God.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Does for you.
- 4:28Speaker 7: The enemy has an amazing trick that he does that,
- 4:32Speaker 7: and it was in my head. I got to tell
- 4:35Speaker 7: y'all all week long, man, and I was doing some
- 4:38Speaker 7: amazing stuff. I was having such a blessed week, man,
- 4:42Speaker 7: in terms of press and pr and where God was
- 4:45Speaker 7: taking me. And then when I got back, I was
- 4:49Speaker 7: talking with my wife and then I was talking to
- 4:52Speaker 7: a good friend of ours and they shared something that
- 4:58Speaker 7: really helped me out. And they said to me, new level,
- 5:04Speaker 7: new devil. You know it's it's it's something really simple,
- 5:09Speaker 7: but new level, new devil. Every time you go to
- 5:13Speaker 7: another level, every time you go a little bit higher,
- 5:18Speaker 7: every time God has a blessing in store for you,
- 5:22Speaker 7: every time He moves you in position, do you understand
- 5:26Speaker 7: that the enemy's job is to make you not see
- 5:29Speaker 7: the blessing, make you not be grateful for it, lose
- 5:33Speaker 7: your focus and focus on this that I just threw
- 5:36Speaker 7: in your way, this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery.
- 5:41Speaker 7: And man, I was, I was, I got it. I
- 5:43Speaker 7: just got to tell you, man, I mean, it was
- 5:46Speaker 7: so filled with hatred that I had to. I really
- 5:49Speaker 7: spend some time addressing it. I and I got publicists
- 5:52Speaker 7: on the phone. I said, what's what's happening here? Y'all
- 5:54Speaker 7: not watching this? Y'all not what what was? What was
- 5:57Speaker 7: this attack? You knew that you didn't know these angles?
- 5:59Speaker 3: What was?
- 6:00Speaker 7: And you know, Steve Chill, new level, new devil. If
- 6:06Speaker 7: you get a promotion on your job, guess what, somebody
- 6:10Speaker 7: ain't happy that you got the promotion. So here come
- 6:13Speaker 7: to hate. You don't even really know these people. You
- 6:16Speaker 7: have no idea. Every time you make a decision to
- 6:21Speaker 7: make your relationship with your spouse better.
- 6:25Speaker 8: Man, this is it.
- 6:26Speaker 2: You know what I'm gonna start doing.
- 6:27Speaker 7: I'm gonna do this, man, so me and my girl
- 6:29Speaker 7: can go on and have this, or me and my
- 6:31Speaker 7: man can go on and have this. Watch what happened
- 6:34Speaker 7: every single time? Here comes the new level, the new devil,
- 6:40Speaker 7: the trick. You don't need to do that. What you're
- 6:42Speaker 7: doing that for hers? She don't appreciate it. He ain't
- 6:44Speaker 7: gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look at that
- 6:47Speaker 7: right there.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Ain't he no?
- 6:48Speaker 7: You know he missed, he ain't call you, and he said,
- 6:51Speaker 7: it's all types of stuff. It just happens all the time.
- 6:54Speaker 7: And I was sitting here talking with this friend, really
- 6:57Speaker 7: good friend, very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 7: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 7: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:08Speaker 7: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 7: something good happens to me? You mean every time I
- 7:17Speaker 7: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:19Speaker 7: put me on the next level. You mean to tell
- 7:21Speaker 7: me that I got to go through this right here?
- 7:24Speaker 7: Are you for real? And then my friend said, Jesus
- 7:30Speaker 7: said to her, they did it to me, and we
- 7:34Speaker 7: just fell out laughing. They did it to me. They
- 7:38Speaker 7: did it to him. They did it to him for
- 7:41Speaker 7: him to go to the next level. And you know,
- 7:44Speaker 7: I was just I was just going over the whole
- 7:46Speaker 7: story about the crucifixion and everything that had to be
- 7:49Speaker 7: amazing man of all the hate he had, ended, all
- 7:53Speaker 7: the prosecuting he had do it. They thought, ultimately, what
- 7:56Speaker 7: we'll do is we'll nail him on a cross and
- 8:00Speaker 7: crucifying and that'll be the end of him. And we'll
- 8:03Speaker 7: put him in this tune and we'll put this big
- 8:05Speaker 7: stone up there and that'll be the end of him.
- 8:08Speaker 7: But what they did not know was all you was
- 8:10Speaker 7: doing was setting the tone for the next level, because
- 8:14Speaker 7: eventually the stone got rolled away and he went and
- 8:17Speaker 7: got placed with his father where he was headed to. Anyway,
- 8:21Speaker 7: he ultimately knew that his ultimate goal was to get
- 8:25Speaker 7: to his father. So when you when you when you
- 8:30Speaker 7: thought you were doing what you were doing to him,
- 8:34Speaker 7: and you put him in the tune, and you put
- 8:36Speaker 7: the big stone up in there, and the stone got
- 8:38Speaker 7: rolls got rolled away, and he went eventually to where
- 8:42Speaker 7: he was trying to get to. That story is in
- 8:46Speaker 7: place for all of us to remember that when we
- 8:51Speaker 7: are going through some things. Could it be because we're
- 8:55Speaker 7: going to a place, you know, It could be just
- 8:58Speaker 7: a place in life. It could be just a different
- 9:01Speaker 7: level in life. That's all it has to be. But
- 9:04Speaker 7: there's going to be the adversarial challenges that come with it,
- 9:09Speaker 7: and those are the moments we must expect, expect, and
- 9:13Speaker 7: take them head on and still not lose your focus
- 9:17Speaker 7: or appreciation for what God has done for you. So
- 9:19Speaker 7: in light of all of that, I'm able to say
- 9:22Speaker 7: today that I thank my heavenly Father, I really do
- 9:25Speaker 7: for all the blessing seeds to bestowed upon me and
- 9:28Speaker 7: all of the haters and all of the liars, and
- 9:32Speaker 7: all of the backstabers and all those people. When you
- 9:35Speaker 7: get through lyon, when you get through stabbing, when you
- 9:40Speaker 7: get through gossiping and doing what you do, I'm still
- 9:46Speaker 7: going to the next level. I'm still going. You cannot
- 9:52Speaker 7: stop what God has in store for you.
- 9:55Speaker 2: No one can stop that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listenings to the Steve Harvey Morning.

- 11:53Speaker 10: the worst dates you've ever been on?
- 11:55Speaker 2: And you knew it was gonna be the last time
- 11:57Speaker 2: you saw her?
- 11:58Speaker 7: Well, that time that I finally got that creole girl
- 12:03Speaker 7: to date me in college, Oh lord, she was fine,
- 12:06Speaker 7: and I'd never had creole food before. She went to
- 12:10Speaker 7: a creole restaurant on off campus and I had all
- 12:16Speaker 7: that spicy ass food, and she liked spicy food. So
- 12:20Speaker 7: I just went with them. But it's cutting me, cut
- 12:24Speaker 7: me up pretty bad. I felt like a box cutter
- 12:27Speaker 7: was going across my stomach.
- 12:30Speaker 8: And I went in her house and I had to
- 12:33Speaker 8: go to the bathroom.
- 12:34Speaker 7: I was trying to make it back to the dorm,
- 12:36Speaker 7: and she said, come on in, my mama nem ain't
- 12:38Speaker 7: in town.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah. I couldn't pass it up.
- 12:40Speaker 7: But I knew I should have went home, cause my
- 12:42Speaker 7: mama taught me whenever you got to go to the
- 12:43Speaker 7: bathroom and sit on that toilet, you come home.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You don't need to let.
- 12:48Speaker 8: This go at nobody house, and I went right over.
- 12:51Speaker 8: I didn't have no.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Matches, couldn't keep this, couldn't keep that soft of smell
- 12:56Speaker 7: in the air, and Lord her Mercy, when I got
- 13:00Speaker 7: through sitting there, I had put most stuff in the
- 13:03Speaker 7: bowl than I had ever done.
- 13:05Speaker 2: In my entire life.
- 13:08Speaker 8: And when I flushed.
- 13:09Speaker 7: It, yeah, it was not enough water in that boat. Okay, seriously,
- 13:17Speaker 7: and that's just the beginning of the worst date.
- 13:19Speaker 8: I could tell you the whole story, but we ain't
- 13:21Speaker 8: got to. Thank you good at God, it never got better.

- 14:37Speaker 2: My name is Lawrence. Lawrence, I actually go to the
- 14:40Speaker 2: same church you do. I saw you last Sunday where
- 14:43Speaker 2: you stood up in the church and I heard that
- 14:45Speaker 2: you were talking about you were going through some bad
- 14:47Speaker 2: times or your job supposedly got rid of the department
- 14:52Speaker 2: that you're in, and you're now seeking a new type
- 14:56Speaker 2: of work. Am I right? Just work period? Because you
- 15:00Speaker 2: looking for a new occupation and you I was there
- 15:02Speaker 2: when you asked everybody to pray for you. Have you
- 15:05Speaker 2: have you found anything yet?
- 15:07Speaker 12: I haven't. I've been praying. We prayed again today. I
- 15:11Speaker 12: asked for the church's prayers again today and and everything's
- 15:15Speaker 12: gonna work out, because you know, he said you take
- 15:16Speaker 12: one step, You're gonna take too. That's right, I'm and
- 15:19Speaker 12: I know it's going to happen.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I know. Well, listen, I think I may be able
- 15:23Speaker 2: to be of some help to you. I actually own
- 15:25Speaker 2: my own company and I'm thinking that you could be
- 15:28Speaker 2: the perfect person for a position that I have available.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Uh now, what what type of work would you do
- 15:33Speaker 2: in the past? Give me some of your job qualifications.
- 15:36Speaker 12: Executive secretary, administrative assistant, anything like that. Whereas the mead
- 15:41Speaker 12: uh even take the arm star short hand as to
- 15:44Speaker 12: do at all? You just said what you need and
- 15:46Speaker 12: I can do it.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Church.
- 15:47Speaker 13: Have your executives to come through the office.
- 15:49Speaker 12: Anything that's needed, travel expenses, that's what I do.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Okay. What type of hours are you used to working.
- 15:58Speaker 12: Nine to five? I'm I'll come in at hey, I
- 16:01Speaker 12: don't know if i'mly coming at eight. I'm coming even
- 16:03Speaker 12: earlier if you need me to come in earlier.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Are you opposed to working at night?
- 16:06Speaker 14: No, I don't know.
- 16:07Speaker 12: I'm working at night. I mean, it just it just depends,
- 16:10Speaker 12: you know. Right now, Burgers can't be choosing I ask
- 16:13Speaker 12: him and being given to me. Okay, well, what kind of.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Looking at I have a I have an offer for
- 16:19Speaker 2: you that it would be Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You will only be working three days a week for me, Okay, No, I'm.
- 16:26Speaker 12: Just two hours looking for separate, a female hour of
- 16:28Speaker 12: a female days A need like full time. I don't
- 16:30Speaker 12: family well to day.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Right right right, I understand, But listen, I think the
- 16:35Speaker 2: actual amount will suffice for that. Now, I'm going to
- 16:39Speaker 2: offer you seven hundred and fifty dollars per night for
- 16:43Speaker 2: three nights a week. That's that's two thousand, two hundred
- 16:46Speaker 2: and fifty dollars for for for those three days for
- 16:49Speaker 2: one week early sure the month. Seven hundred and fifty dollars.
- 16:55Speaker 12: A night and I'm working around two thousand and something.
- 17:00Speaker 2: You're making so a week man, and if you do
- 17:03Speaker 2: the math on that, that that adds up to about
- 17:05Speaker 2: nine thousand dollars four months.
- 17:09Speaker 13: I'm for a girl, to be true.
- 17:10Speaker 12: But now I put it all in his hands. I
- 17:13Speaker 12: turned it over that we started it. I did it,
- 17:15Speaker 12: and you turning. I make seven hundred fifty dollars a nine. Okay,
- 17:19Speaker 12: I mean what I'm gonna doing keeping books, you know,
- 17:21Speaker 12: because I do the accountant too.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Well, let me say this now. The reason why I
- 17:25Speaker 2: say it's at night is because I own a nightclub
- 17:29Speaker 2: and and you would be working at the night club
- 17:31Speaker 2: for me. So you will put in about four or
- 17:33Speaker 2: five hours every night and for three nights a week
- 17:37Speaker 2: like I stayed at Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and and of
- 17:41Speaker 2: course I'll pay you seven hundred and fifty. Matter of fact,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I'll actually pay you your first two weeks in advance.
- 17:47Speaker 13: And I need that.
- 17:48Speaker 2: No, I'm sure you you know you've you've lost your balance,
- 17:50Speaker 2: you need to get back on your feet and everything.
- 17:52Speaker 12: Yes, yes, yes, okay, so you know I'll be doing
- 17:58Speaker 12: it because I'm sure, Like I said, I can do
- 17:59Speaker 12: all the work. I'm good. That's not counting you telling
- 18:02Speaker 12: me a clip front door. I can keep your books
- 18:06Speaker 12: going right.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Well, no, not necessarily. I don't need you to work
- 18:09Speaker 2: the front door. I'm actually going to have you in
- 18:11Speaker 2: the club working, okay. So I mean, how's your physical condition?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Are you able to get around and you don't get
- 18:20Speaker 2: tired quick? Do you now? Are you in good physical shape?
- 18:22Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 18:23Speaker 12: Someone really good shave, don't get cat quick at all.
- 18:26Speaker 12: You want to do something like be you able to
- 18:28Speaker 12: bad tenders or something and work to the bottom, make
- 18:30Speaker 12: sure the money and nobody's stealing money from you something.
- 18:32Speaker 2: No, no, no, you're not at the bar either. See,
- 18:35Speaker 2: because what I'm gonna do now, have you ever done
- 18:37Speaker 2: anything like you know, anything close to dance or anything
- 18:40Speaker 2: like that. Have you done that in the past?
- 18:42Speaker 12: Well, I do a little ballet when I was younger. Uh,
- 18:47Speaker 12: you had goadwater every once in a while, you know,
- 18:48Speaker 12: you do.
- 18:49Speaker 14: It dancing here and there.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Okay, well that's good because see, what what I wanted
- 18:52Speaker 2: you to do is I want you to do a
- 18:54Speaker 2: little bit of dancing in the club, something.
- 18:57Speaker 12: Like dancing or something, and you teach I don't had
- 19:00Speaker 12: you to ballroom dance, so I can't wait for nobody
- 19:02Speaker 12: on that stuff like that.
- 19:03Speaker 2: No, I'm not asking you to do any uh ballroom
- 19:07Speaker 2: dance and anything like that. What I need you to do,
- 19:09Speaker 2: I want you to dance on the pole. See what
- 19:12Speaker 2: on the pole? See I have a strip club. I
- 19:14Speaker 2: want you to dance on the pole a pattern.
- 19:18Speaker 13: The reson the dancing a pol Well.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Actually I own the Silk Stocking, which is a strip club.
- 19:27Speaker 13: You must watch your mind. I am branking my part
- 19:30Speaker 13: and moor body you can set that pay listen.
- 19:35Speaker 16: Name.
- 19:39Speaker 2: But don't you want to make this money. I got
- 19:40Speaker 2: seven hundred and fifty dollars a night for you.
- 19:42Speaker 13: I don't need there's some money. Let tell you right now,
- 19:45Speaker 13: you're in a pair of dance. We can put that

- 38:28Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 38:29Speaker 11: You? Listen, just let's just say one person for sake
- 38:33Speaker 11: of this, would you rather or would you rather never
- 38:35Speaker 11: ever be spoken to again?
- 38:37Speaker 2: I'm going to be here.
- 38:41Speaker 1: I can't no. Hold on, man, come on, come on,
- 38:44Speaker 1: come on now?
- 38:45Speaker 2: Said? One question is less? Can we do it? I
- 38:49Speaker 2: mean if I just hear that.
- 38:52Speaker 1: And I'm good, what are we gonna do it?
- 38:54Speaker 16: Let's do it? Can we do it?
- 38:56Speaker 1: All that all the time over?
- 39:00Speaker 2: The question time is who while you're doing it? The
- 39:03Speaker 2: question who? Phone? Numb?
- 39:04Speaker 11: Is this?
- 39:05Speaker 2: I'm here to to be? Yeah, I'm here to to be.
- 39:08Speaker 1: But you can't hear a question ahead of time. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you don't know what it's gonna be?
- 39:13Speaker 2: All right?
- 39:13Speaker 11: Would you rather it be Christmas every day? Christmas every day?
- 39:18Speaker 11: Or your birthday every day?
- 39:21Speaker 2: My birthday? Christmas?
- 39:22Speaker 7: Too much company, it's too many people, No, Chris, Christmas,
- 39:26Speaker 7: I got to buy too much?
- 39:27Speaker 2: So well, no, let it be my birthday here. Last
- 39:34Speaker 2: year I couldn't put that bike together, right, that's too much.
- 39:38Speaker 14: No.
- 39:39Speaker 11: So Christmas is cool just being one day a year.
- 39:42Speaker 11: But you want your birthday every day?
- 39:44Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I don't get nothing on either day, so
- 39:47Speaker 10: they don't know.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Be my birthday Christmas?
- 39:52Speaker 1: I ain't getting nothing noway?
- 39:54Speaker 3: All right?
- 39:55Speaker 11: Or this is kind of crazy? Would you rather win
- 39:58Speaker 11: the lottery but I have to say spend it all
- 40:00Speaker 11: in one day?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Or would you like to triple? Would you rather triple
- 40:08Speaker 1: your current salary forever?
- 40:10Speaker 2: Say that again?
- 40:11Speaker 11: That's easy, that's easy. Would you rather win the lottery?
- 40:16Speaker 11: Win the lottery but have to spend it all in
- 40:19Speaker 11: one day? Or triple your current salary forever?
- 40:25Speaker 2: It's easy?
- 40:26Speaker 3: Oh?
- 40:26Speaker 2: No, which one? You won't?
- 40:28Speaker 1: Should triple my current salary from forever?
- 40:35Speaker 7: I tripled my Saturday. I'm good, I'm in the lot o.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Hell, you have won the lottery?
- 40:47Speaker 3: All right?
- 40:48Speaker 1: That's our today's version of would you rather?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yo? Yo? What's up to? Sha?
- 40:53Speaker 7: Homie ice Cube wishing everybody a happy holidays from my
- 40:57Speaker 7: family to yours and the Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 41:00Speaker 3: What up Steve?
- 41:01Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show?
- 41:07Speaker 11: Time Now to check Steve's boicemail And if you would
- 41:10Speaker 11: like to leave Steve a boysmail, all you have to
- 41:12Speaker 11: do is called eight seven seven twenty nine.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Steve you could hear your message on the air with us.
- 41:18Speaker 1: It's just that simple.
- 41:19Speaker 11: Okay, So Steve, you're ready for our listeners. You this
- 41:24Speaker 11: caller wants to ask the CLO a question.
- 41:27Speaker 18: What's going off to you, Harvey, got a question for you.
- 41:31Speaker 18: So kind of in a jam a little bit in
- 41:33Speaker 18: my relationship. So I wanted to propose to my woman,
- 41:37Speaker 18: but I went to another woman for advice.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:41Speaker 18: No, probably not the best of the situation.
- 41:44Speaker 19: So there was a little bit of you know, blirting
- 41:48Speaker 19: going back and forth with me and lady, and my
- 41:51Speaker 19: woman accused me of having some type of relations with
- 41:54Speaker 19: this lady.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I wanted to do it as a surprise and not tellers.
- 41:57Speaker 19: But you know, we moved on from the situation.
- 42:00Speaker 2: It seems like every now and then the topic comes
- 42:02Speaker 2: back up and I can help me out. Thank you well, bro.
- 42:06Speaker 7: As far as the subject coming back up every now
- 42:09Speaker 7: and then, that's forever.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Oh that's coming. We don't we don't tell you.
- 42:17Speaker 8: I don't have a real answer for you on let
- 42:21Speaker 8: that one is forever.
- 42:23Speaker 7: It will come up at some of the most inappropriate moments,
- 42:28Speaker 7: but I will I will tell you, uh, every year
- 42:32Speaker 7: on that day that it came up before uh the
- 42:37Speaker 7: elephant minded women that they all will remember that exact
- 42:41Speaker 7: day if you had on.
- 42:43Speaker 2: A white shirt that day. Every time you have on
- 42:46Speaker 2: a white shirt, she'll bring it.
- 42:49Speaker 7: If anybody has a name that starts with the same
- 42:53Speaker 7: letter as the girl you went over to get advice from,
- 42:58Speaker 7: she'll bring it up.
- 43:00Speaker 8: So the bringing that up brood is gonna be forever.
- 43:03Speaker 7: I do think you should move on with the proposal
- 43:06Speaker 7: because in your mind it was a mistake you made,
- 43:09Speaker 7: and you found out that you didn't need anybody's advice
- 43:13Speaker 7: on you because the love you have for her is
- 43:16Speaker 7: unexplainable and for anybody else to even try to understand it,
- 43:21Speaker 7: it's just mind blowing to you. And you've learned that
- 43:23Speaker 7: your love is much deeper than a conversation with another
- 43:27Speaker 7: female and wife, and interject that into the relationship and
- 43:30Speaker 7: you will forever hold your relationship as a two handed
- 43:33Speaker 7: circle from now on.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Let your church say Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
- 43:39Speaker 1: That's the same thing you told Carolyn though. But it's
- 43:41Speaker 1: all right, Uncle Steve.
- 43:44Speaker 7: Uncle Steve just helped you out, brother, And don't pay
- 43:46Speaker 7: no attention to the ladies, because your problem is your lady.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Come on, your hello, this color appreciates you, Steve. Let's
- 43:54Speaker 1: hear what they have to say.
- 43:56Speaker 14: Stein. You know, I was to shoot all the time,
- 44:00Speaker 14: and you know what, I listen to you. You make
- 44:02Speaker 14: me so so much better, you know, because I have everything,
- 44:05Speaker 14: everybody against me where I live at and my family
- 44:09Speaker 14: and everything like that, and just listening to you and
- 44:12Speaker 14: your come just so so I feel so good. It's
- 44:16Speaker 14: just like you just make my dad, You make my
- 44:19Speaker 14: day at my job when I'm driving my cousin everything,
- 44:23Speaker 14: and I just just think, to.
- 44:26Speaker 2: You, thank you.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Because when you say the spiritual.
- 44:28Speaker 14: Things in the morning, I listen to it and I'm like,
- 44:30Speaker 14: why I listen to work seeds just can't and it's
- 44:33Speaker 14: just to be about me with haters, envy, jealous. And
- 44:40Speaker 14: I'm a single woman. I'm fifty three years old and
- 44:42Speaker 14: I love by myself and I love I love God.
- 44:44Speaker 14: I love God so much. Taking up in the morning,
- 44:46Speaker 14: I said God, you said so mile, thank you. And
- 44:49Speaker 14: just the evilness I get and I'm just so tired
- 44:51Speaker 14: of it. But I just say every time I hear you,
- 44:54Speaker 14: I thank you. See and the crew there, I love you,
- 44:58Speaker 14: see you keep up the good work.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Oh wow, I have to.
- 45:03Speaker 7: Give all that credit and honor to God Almighty. Because
- 45:06Speaker 7: God places things on me to say, I'm not always
- 45:11Speaker 7: even responsible for saying it, And be honest with you,
- 45:14Speaker 7: a lot of times I don't know what to say,
- 45:17Speaker 7: and then I'll lo lower my head and ask God
- 45:19Speaker 7: to give me something. So I have to give all
- 45:21Speaker 7: that credit and honor to God. That that part you
- 45:24Speaker 7: see of me, that good part, that's the part that
- 45:28Speaker 7: I allow God to reside and the Holy Spirit to
- 45:32Speaker 7: take over from me. So that's all God. I thank
- 45:35Speaker 7: you for recognizing that portion of the God in me,
- 45:38Speaker 7: and hopefully I'll have more of that to be shown.
- 45:41Speaker 7: I'm working on that, though, because there's a large percentage
- 45:44Speaker 7: of me that's not really all that yet.
- 45:48Speaker 11: If you want to leave Steph a message, call it
- 45:51Speaker 11: voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, we just
- 45:54Speaker 11: might play your message on the air. Coming up next,
- 45:56Speaker 11: it is a prank phone call for today from the nephew.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Right after this.
- 46:00Speaker 11: Sne to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up right
- 46:03Speaker 11: about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry letter
- 46:05Speaker 11: for today. The subject is he says, he says now,
- 46:09Speaker 11: he says, his fantasies are normal. We'll get into that
- 46:14Speaker 11: in just a bit. Right right now, there's a nephew
- 46:19Speaker 11: stepping up to the plate with today's prank phone call.
- 46:23Speaker 2: What you got for us? Now, I'm trying to build
- 46:26Speaker 2: my stupidity up as I you know, as I get
- 46:30Speaker 2: closer to this weekend. So I'm starting at a pretty
- 46:33Speaker 2: high level, yeah, at the top. Just I'm trying to
- 46:39Speaker 2: get it as high as I can. So when I
- 46:41Speaker 2: hit that stage, said night, I want it at a
- 46:44Speaker 2: level of just I want to peak out, I really do.
- 46:47Speaker 2: I want to get as ignorant as possible and then
- 46:50Speaker 2: just just hang it all the way over. So we're
- 46:52Speaker 2: gonna start this thing within w A and double you. Hey,
- 47:01Speaker 2: now what you think that means?
- 47:03Speaker 11: Him?

- 48:14Speaker 2: use the word. It's been brought to our attention that
- 48:16Speaker 2: you have been consistently using the word even after we've
- 48:21Speaker 2: buried it. And what we're wanting to do is, first
- 48:24Speaker 2: of all, ask you to stop. And we don't want
- 48:26Speaker 2: to take any other actions which could mean not only
- 48:29Speaker 2: burying the word, but also burying the people who use it,

- 49:57Speaker 2: not used anymore. And for you to do, for you
- 50:01Speaker 2: to continue to go against the grain, we gotta put

- 56:21Speaker 11: Before we get to this letter and the subject and everything,
- 56:24Speaker 11: just want to warn you if you have small children
- 56:27Speaker 11: listening and everything, you don't want to hear this one.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Okay, just put it like that, turn the kids away.
- 56:33Speaker 2: All right.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Subject, He says his fantasies are normal.
- 56:38Speaker 11: Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I have been married
- 56:40Speaker 11: for almost six years and he's my best friend. We
- 56:44Speaker 11: are inseparable and we have not spent one night apart
- 56:46Speaker 11: since we got married. Our sex life is really good
- 56:50Speaker 11: and occasionally we'll have a third party come in and
- 56:52Speaker 11: join us in the bed. We like to film home
- 56:55Speaker 11: movies of us walking around naked in our home, and
- 56:58Speaker 11: we also record our sex aides and we enjoy watching
- 57:02Speaker 11: our home movies. The only problem I'm having is that
- 57:05Speaker 11: he is insatiable. Nothing we do can satisfy him. It's
- 57:11Speaker 11: like he's always trying to top our last experience we
- 57:15Speaker 11: role play, and his fantasy's gotten bizarre lately, so I
- 57:18Speaker 11: need your help. He likes watching videos of people having
- 57:21Speaker 11: sex wearing animal costumes, and he has videos of various
- 57:25Speaker 11: animals having sex with each other. He watches porn for hours,
- 57:30Speaker 11: and he said it's what's got him through the pandemic.
- 57:34Speaker 11: We're also usually naked around the house, but lately I've
- 57:38Speaker 11: worn a robe because he likes to have me lie
- 57:40Speaker 11: on the couch so he can eat his food off
- 57:42Speaker 11: my chest and stomach. It's a turnoff, but I want
- 57:46Speaker 11: to keep him happy. He has a few celebrity crushes,
- 57:49Speaker 11: and he's called me by their name more than a
- 57:51Speaker 11: few times during sex.
- 57:53Speaker 1: When I tried calling him try to get through this.
- 57:58Speaker 11: When I tried calling him Steve Harvey during sex, he
- 58:02Speaker 11: didn't like it one bit.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Yes, all right, I'm gonna try to get through this again.
- 58:13Speaker 11: He has a few He has a few celebrity crushes
- 58:16Speaker 11: and he's called me by their name more than a
- 58:18Speaker 11: few times during sex. When I tried calling him Steve
- 58:23Speaker 11: Harvey during sex, he didn't like it one bit.
- 58:31Speaker 7: Nasty stuff, y'all got going take my name out of
- 58:35Speaker 7: your damn letter.
- 58:37Speaker 11: Things are getting out of hand, and I told him
- 58:40Speaker 11: a lot of his fantasies are not normal. He said,
- 58:43Speaker 11: I can't switch things up on him, depriving him of
- 58:45Speaker 11: happiness in the bedroom. I'm warning he might cheat on
- 58:48Speaker 11: me if I don't continue to play along. Can you
- 58:51Speaker 11: please give me some tips on how to transition into
- 58:54Speaker 11: a normal sex life. I want children, so it's time
- 58:57Speaker 11: for us to have a normal household. Please helps me out.
- 59:02Speaker 11: I'm with Steve, don't be bringing his name into this
- 59:04Speaker 11: because this is just nasty. And the thing is, you know,
- 59:09Speaker 11: he doesn't want you to switch things up on him,
- 59:11Speaker 11: and he's right in a sense that it's really hard
- 59:14Speaker 11: to stop doing this kind of stuff once you've started.
- 59:18Speaker 11: And you guys are doing a lot of crazy mess.
- 59:21Speaker 11: Your husband really is doing the most. It's too much.
- 59:25Speaker 11: He's all over the place. You guys are having threesomes.
- 59:28Speaker 11: You guys are looking at people with animal costumes on,
- 59:32Speaker 11: and then you're looking at animals doing it. You know,
- 59:35Speaker 11: I guess that really is what insatiable means. I mean,
- 59:38Speaker 11: nothing can satisfy your husband, mister freaky freak. Come on,
- 59:43Speaker 11: regular sex doesn't get the job done anymore. He needs help,
- 59:46Speaker 11: That's what I think. Seriously, you wrote us, but I
- 59:49Speaker 11: think he needs some serious help, like you know, a
- 59:52Speaker 11: sex edition therapist or something like that.
- 59:54Speaker 1: He's got to do some work here.
- 59:56Speaker 11: I mean, there's no way you can keep up with
- 59:59Speaker 11: all this going on, and I think it's only natural
- 1:00:02Speaker 11: that you're thinking about normal things now. You can't bring
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: a baby into this mess. The problem will be convincing
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: him these you know, the stuff has gotta change.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: He's probably gonna just want to keep doing it in
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the bedroom. No, you're getting over this.
- 1:00:16Speaker 11: You're growing up, you're maturing, you're changing, And until then
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: I would just wait, wait, wait, wait to try and
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: have children if you guys are even still together, because
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: you want to stop and he doesn't.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Steve.
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: First of all, this is foolishness right here. This whole
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: letter is stupid from top to bottom. It's not a
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: redeeming moment in this letter. It's nothing I really even
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: care about. I'm gonna just tell you flat out four.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: We can start this here. I'm gonna read the letter
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: and answer. But I ain't got no help for you,
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: right I don't know what you're gonna do.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I really don't, because from the beginning of the letter,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: all this is both y'all's fault.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: All it is y'all bought this foolishness on yourself. My
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: husband and I have been married for almost six she is.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: He's my best friend.
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: We are inseparable, and we've not spent one night apart
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: since we got married.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Okay, oh, okay.
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: Our sex life is really good, and occasionally we have
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: a third party come and join us in the bed
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: right there, right there, that's the beginning of the end.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: This don't ever work out. I've never heard it working
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: out for anybody. Once you introduce a third party into
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: your marriage, it usually don't work out. And it ain't
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: even gotta be sex. If you keep introducing a third
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: party into your marriage, it's gonna interfere with the marriage.
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: But y'all in brought everybody into the bedroom. Y'all like
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: filming home movies of us walking around naked. We record
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: our sexcapades. We enjoy watching movies at our own home movies,
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: nin She say, the only problem I'm having is that
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: he's insatial. That's not your only problem. But okay, nothing
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: we do can't satisfy him. It's like he's always trying
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: to top our last experience. He can't top it without you.
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: We role playing his fantasies that have gotten bizarre lately.
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: So I need your help.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Not right here.
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: You know, we tell jokes about monkeys and all this
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: his stuff. But you just said his fantasies have gotten
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: bizarre lately, and I need your help. What is me
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: and Shery Finn do right all right now? Jokes about
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: having a monkey in the room and a spam and
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: a love mint, but that's all. I don't know what
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: to tell you. We come back to I'm gonna tell
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: you something.
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: A Part two of your response is coming up at
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry Letter subject.
- 1:02:42Speaker 11: He says his fantasy is are normal. We'll get back
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Hey, this is your boy nephew. Tell me Entering a
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: new year is the perfect time to prioritize your safety.

- 1:03:24Speaker 11: All right, come on, see let's recap today's crazy strawberry letter.
- 1:03:27Speaker 11: The subject he says his fantasies are.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Normal, and please be nothing normal about this letter. His
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: fantasy is no normally. Y'all been together six years.
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: Year in several of your best friend sex life is
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: really good, and occasionally we have a third party coming
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: join us in the bed, right out to dribble.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Can I tell you that ain't normal.
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: I'm just sharing this with you.
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: That's really not normal. That's really not how it works.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: We like to film home movies us walking around in
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: our home naked.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: That's not normal. That ain't normal.
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: We also record our sex coapades and we enjoy watching
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: our own home movies. I know people do that but wow,
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: once again, that ain't normal. The only problem I'm having
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: is that he's insatiable. Nothing we do can satisfy him.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: Is like he's always trying to top our last experience
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: we role playing. His fantasies have gotten bizarre lately, so
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: I need your help.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: His fantasies have.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: Gotten bizarre lately. Well, I don't know how you think
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: we're gonna help, but let's hear what you're talking about.
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: He likes watching videos of people having sex wearing animal costumes.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: That's not normal.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: And he has videos of various animals having sex with
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: each other. Let me tell you something, y'all sick. These
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: ain't fantasies. This is a sickness watching animals. Are you
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: kidding me?
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: What's that?
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: I don't even understand. Your man is sick, and you
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: sick for sitting there going along with this. He watches
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: Pawn for hours, and he says that's what got him
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: through the pandemic.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Are we still in the pandemic?
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: I don't know if you notice or not, but it's
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: still a pandemic going on that we may not be
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: on lockdown like we used to be, but that's not
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: what's what's so this is still going on, I take
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: it right now. We're usually naked around the house, but
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: lately I've worn a roll because he likes to have
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: me lie on the couch so he can eat his
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: food off my chest and stomach. It's a turnoff, but
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: I want to keep him happy. How wait a minute,
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: what spaghetti off your chest? How big is your breast
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: keeping this spaghetti? How is you keeping this spaghetti on
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: your chest? I'm not understanding that. Who got a bowl
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: of soup on your stomach?

- 1:06:06Speaker 2: right here?
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: But who the hell can cut a piece of meat
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: loaf on your damn stomach? I'm not understanding this right here?

- 1:06:16Speaker 2: He lady?
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: These hot their French fries on you and he's just snacking.

- 1:06:23Speaker 7: as hell. He done flip them over as he's cooking
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: on you.
- 1:06:26Speaker 16: To what.
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: I don't even know what's going on right here. I'm
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: just trying to think of these foods that you got
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: in that laying on your something. He just got Chinese
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: food just on your stomach. What did y'all in here
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: doing hell yeahs a turn off.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: This food is hot.
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: He has a few celebrity crutches, and he's called me
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: by their names more than a few times doing sex.
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: When I tried to call him Steve Harvey doing sex,
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: he didn't like that one bit.
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: I know what that.
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: Knowing that because too, I don't want in this letter
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: right here, I billy, I don't really want to be
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: I don't. I'm take me off your crush list. Why
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: is I'm on the crush list? It's too crazy, especially
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: I'm not following these animals. I'm just telling you that
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: right now. They got to mention my name before these
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: damn animals out of accepted a lot better once you
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: can watch the animals. And then he gonna bring up
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: Steve damn name and the damn letter. That's where we
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: draw the line. And I ain't finna follow all these

- 1:07:31Speaker 9: Here we go.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: Things are getting out of hand. And I told him
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: a lot of his fantasies are not normal. He said,
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: I can't switch things up on him. Depriving him of
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: his happiness in the bedroom. I'm worried he might cheat

- 1:07:56Speaker 2: be damn concerned. Donald. What is he finna lay on

- 1:11:23Speaker 2: because I.
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: Didn't have no money and I was crazy about it,
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: and I got caught going out the door. White dude
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: had on a sweatshirts and gym shoes.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: He was fast too. He was fast too, just wasn't
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: quite fast enough. He had me.
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: And then when I gave here my jacket though, and
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: I was so thin there that didn't mean nothing to me.
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: It was damn near irreallyant. I slipped out that jacket
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: so fast. I just let my arms go limp like spaghetti.
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: He had the jacket, that white dude. I got out
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: on a prospect. That white boy started chasing me. That
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: dude was fast, but he had no idea who he
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: was chasing. No dog, I was uncatchable. I looked back,
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: I said, man, he's still here, and I just went
- 1:12:18Speaker 7: on and just dropped it down in nitro.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: That was gone.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I put that black on him head, scared dog.
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I put that black speed on it that he
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: hadn't seen. Sounded like an indie car.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that was it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: And he yelled at me come back to the store again,
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: for it'll be years, pardoner.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Don't worry.
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: And when I did go back and may come there,
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: I look, I had a bed and everything I was grown.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Yeah, hit back.
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: All rights, Steve Harbin Martin show Man. Ain't nothing worse
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: than a madass wolver smoking a cigarette.
- 1:13:11Speaker 8: You know out there?
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: What that cigarette that I tell you what I tell what?
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: You ain't fred I Wood from by the air with
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: that cigarette. It used to look so full of the cigarette.
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: Just be talking the whole time she's talking, that cigarette
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: going up down, ashes sticking off on her dress and stuff.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: Coming up right up to.
- 1:13:29Speaker 11: The great resignation continues, and nowhere seems to be safe.
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: A mod pizza shop in Illinois was the subject of
- 1:13:37Speaker 11: a TikTok where the user showed a sign at the
- 1:13:40Speaker 11: door uh saying all staff has quit, We're closed for
- 1:13:44Speaker 11: the night. So Steve, Yeah, I mean people are just
- 1:13:48Speaker 11: quitting their job, Steve. And it really is an employee
- 1:13:52Speaker 11: market right now. Lots of places are hiring, So why
- 1:13:55Speaker 11: stay somewhere when you're unhappy?
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Should you have a rational plan before you just up
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and quit your jobs?
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: What do you well?
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: I mean, I quit my last job I had. I
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: quit the next day after I won fifty bucks out
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: of comedy competition. So I'm the last person I asked
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: should you had a rational plan? Because mine led directly
- 1:14:16Speaker 7: to homelessness. Yeah, I don't really recommend anybody take the
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: route I took, but if you want to, I say
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: go ahead.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: I mean, what did they quit you? It's a pizza shot?
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: How much that pasta? The dude over pepperoni? Quicko. See.
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: But once I passed by your house and I miss
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: your address, I turned the.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: Corner, eat the pizza.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Uh huh uh huh uh.
- 1:14:40Speaker 17: With that.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: It was some sexual harassment stuff.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: It was a bund pizza shop. Yeah, I'm not fit
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: to take all this for no day over no damn
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: pizza y.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Talking to.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: You said, you said pepperoni here? I am with that
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: to meet levels. That's what No, no, immediately.
- 1:15:10Speaker 11: Yeah, but it's happening everywhere. I mean, that's one incident
- 1:15:13Speaker 11: in Illinois, but it's happening.
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: Y'all thought about clon Oh.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Here, we love our jobs.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: We love you. You're the best, Monica said, She's considered quick.
- 1:15:25Speaker 11: She's still here the job or this job? Okay, this job,
- 1:15:29Speaker 11: I thought, he meant this job. Yeah, you're the best
- 1:15:32Speaker 11: bus ever.
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: Steve.
- 1:15:34Speaker 10: The last job I had was at Monarch Paint Company.
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: Pay seven seventy five an hour, walk right out of there.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Really Yeah, seventh.
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: No, because I saw that the manager of the store
- 1:15:47Speaker 10: had been there twenty two years and the assistant managed
- 1:15:49Speaker 10: to be in their twenty What do I look like
- 1:15:51Speaker 10: staying here? I started telling the next night.
- 1:15:55Speaker 11: Really yeah, well, well, junior experts say that if you
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: do want to quit your job, you should talk to
- 1:16:02Speaker 11: your boss.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Okay, don't get emotional. Don't get emotional.
- 1:16:08Speaker 11: Go ahead and ask for your raise, ask to work
- 1:16:11Speaker 11: from home, talk about stress, and pinpoint your dissatisfaction at
- 1:16:16Speaker 11: the job.
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: Okay, let's try it right now today. You go ahead
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: and pitch me for the raise. Go ahead, and let's try.
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: Mister Harvey, I have a word with you, please, absolutely, sir.
- 1:16:28Speaker 10: You know, you know I've been here four years. I've
- 1:16:31Speaker 10: been here four years, you know, and you know everything
- 1:16:34Speaker 10: I asked me to do.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: I do all my job description. Can I fits that
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I thought more than cable? Okay? And you know another
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: thing too.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I even work over time for you when you asked
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: me to.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never asked you that. To go ahead, but
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: you know, I just want to just say this.
- 1:16:51Speaker 10: I really believe that I should be making fifteen dollar
- 1:16:54Speaker 10: an hour. This seven fifty seven seventy five ain't working
- 1:16:57Speaker 10: for me. I really have a fifteen dollars hour employee.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Hall Lee, I'll give you that right away. Oh so
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: I'm getting the raise.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: You want fifteen dollars an hour on this here show
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: for sure. That's sixty dollars a day. I was talking
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: about working at the paint company. Yeah, yeah, alright, if
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: I get the most No, no, no, I'm talking to
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: you about this job right here.
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: You want fifteen dollars an hour, that's sixty dollars a day.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: You dropt it.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Okay, we need to do over the fact.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: No, you're asking for a raise on this job now,
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: go okay, okay, yeah, hey, you know I was thinking
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: about this.
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: I think I.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: Deserve about a fifty dollars raise on this job here, man. Yeah,
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: and you thought wrong.
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: You're thinking.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Okay, well that's a I like to pay. I'm getting anyway,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Thank you for coming.
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: Next, I'm coming up. Coming up, we're gonna interview Tommy.
- 1:18:01Speaker 11: For okay, all right, all right, cool, all right, we'll
- 1:18:05Speaker 11: be back with more how to ask your boss for
- 1:18:07Speaker 11: a raise with the nephew and the uncle.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning show.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: All right, so before we before we left out, we
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: were talking.
- 1:18:21Speaker 11: About the Great Resignation, how a lot of people around
- 1:18:23Speaker 11: the country are quitting their jobs and uh, you know,
- 1:18:27Speaker 11: they're unhappy with their with their employment, so they're looking
- 1:18:30Speaker 11: for other jobs. And experts say, you should talk to
- 1:18:34Speaker 11: your boss, don't get emotional, ask for a raise, ask
- 1:18:37Speaker 11: to work from home, talk about stress, and pinpoint just
- 1:18:40Speaker 11: what you're dissatisfied about at your job. So the nephew
- 1:18:43Speaker 11: wanted to ask you, Steve some questions. He wanted to
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: talk to you about.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: You got one damn minute we can sit down and
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: have a conversation. That's how you asked. Wow, No, it's fine,
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: it's fine.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Don't get emotional. That's the first time not to get emotions.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: I've been on this radio twenty months with you. I'm
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: just gonna gone say. I'm just gonna gone say I
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: think I deserve another extra two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: So how the hell we gonna do this?
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: Yeah, well you won't see year twenty one in this moment.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: That's a damn shit.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Don't get emotional. Talk to your boss.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm talking to him.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I'm talking back ten point your dissatisfaction.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: I've been stooping on here for twenty damn yell doing
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: the best, the best you pitty in the world. The
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: least you can do and give me an extra two
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: fifty on this damn show. Hell, I can do far.

- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Would you rather never be spoken to?
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Ever?
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Again?
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 1:21:21Speaker 11: Just let's just say one person for sake of this,

- 1:21:28Speaker 2: I'm going with Ben. I can't be here.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I can't no, hold on, now, come on, come on,

- 1:21:46Speaker 16: Let's do it?
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: Can we do it?
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: All that all the time?
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: Over?
- 1:21:50Speaker 14: What if?
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: The question is who?
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: While you're doing it?
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: The question who? Phone? Numb? Is this? I'm here to
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: to be? Yeah, I'm here to be, but you.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: Can't all right?
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: Question ahead of time?
- 1:22:01Speaker 11: No, yeah, you don't know what it's gonna be, all right?
- 1:22:04Speaker 11: Would you rather it be Christmas? Every day, Christmas every
- 1:22:08Speaker 11: day or your birthday every day?
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: My birthday? Christmas? Too much company?
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: It's too much people. No, Chris, Christmas, I got buy
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: too much stuff. Hell no, let it be my birthday.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: Here last year I couldn't put that bike together, right,
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: that's too much.
- 1:22:29Speaker 11: No.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: So Christmas is cool just being one day a year.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: But you want your birthday every day?
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:22:35Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't get nothing on either day, So don't either.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Be my birthday or Christmas.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I ain't getting nothing noway?
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:22:45Speaker 11: Or this is kind of crazy. Would you rather win
- 1:22:48Speaker 11: the lottery but have to spend it all in one day?
- 1:22:54Speaker 11: Or would you like to triple? Would you rather triple
- 1:22:58Speaker 11: your current salary forever?
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Say that again?
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Show that's easy.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: That's easy.
- 1:23:04Speaker 11: Would you rather win the lottery? Win the lottery but
- 1:23:08Speaker 11: have to spend it all in one day? Or triple
- 1:23:13Speaker 11: your current salary forever?
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: It's easy? Oh? No, man? Which one? You won't?
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Should triple my current salary?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: From Jeff?
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: Forever?
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: I tripled my Saturday? Oh good, I'm in Lottle Hill.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: You have won the lottery? Yes, all right?
- 1:23:39Speaker 11: That's our today's version of would you rather coming up?

- 1:24:35Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: the day. Yeah, it's been a good day. We've had
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: fun today.
- 1:24:43Speaker 11: Boy, you and Tommy really got into it earlier about
- 1:24:46Speaker 11: those the rays and the job and all of.
- 1:24:49Speaker 8: You come up in office cussing at me, and you
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: thought you.
- 1:24:51Speaker 11: Yeah, the first thing it said was don't be emotional
- 1:24:57Speaker 11: washing emotions into it.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: I have it for you.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: I'm really undeveloped in my Christianity. Is if you come
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: to me hard, I just don't know how to, you know,
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: be south.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: With you, Chris.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: And that was time me asking for a raise.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: But they're gonna cuss me.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: What I mean, the big one too.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: I've been thinking it blank twenty years. Yeah, you ain't
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: gonna be blank twenty one work you said.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: I've been being up in here stupid for twenty years.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Thank you Steve taking us out.
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: Hey, My clothes remarks are that I want you all
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: to be aware of something that I've found to be
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: a little bit troubling sometime.
- 1:25:48Speaker 8: It's the word karma.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: The word karma.
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: I've been watching people and they tossed this word around
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: so loosely, and I want you all to be careful,
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: be careful of people who always use the word karma
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: because they throw it around like like like like like
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: they have the right to.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: You know it is.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: Is there a karma committee and who's on it? Who
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: determines what's happening to you as karma? Don't throw that
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: word around so easily, because if you look up the
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: definition of calm and you google it, it'll throw you
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: off a little bit because it really has a lot
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: to do with religion and and and and and certain
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: religions in this world. That's where the word karma came from.
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: So when people always talking about, yeah, that's karma, what's
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: happening to you is karma? That's not all the way,
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: It's not always the case. Be careful of people who
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: use that word a lot, because I have to warn
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: you who determines what karma is? And how long does
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: karma last? Have you ever noticed people throw that word
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: around to keep you in a certain place, to keep
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: you in a certain category, to keep you feeling a
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: certain kind of way, even after you've moved on long
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: from it. Real negative people have a tendency to throw
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: this word calm around. I want y'all to be aware
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: of this, man, because it's dangerous to let people do it.
- 1:27:23Speaker 8: See. God has this.
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: Thing called grace and mercy, and God passes it out
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: to whoever asks for it. If you ask God for
- 1:27:32Speaker 7: forgiveness for something, and God gives you his grace and
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: he forgives you that allows you to be forgiving. God
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: never brings it back up again, and you're free to
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: move on. So you gotta be careful of people who
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: talking about every time something happens to you, they relate
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: it to something that you did before and they call
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: it karma.
- 1:27:55Speaker 8: That's not what it is, y'all. Listen to me. The
- 1:27:59Speaker 8: vast majority of things that happened to you, it ain't calma.
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: It's just life.
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: What what are you talking about? You lose a love
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: one that ain't calma. You don't you know, something happens
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: to you negatively, that's not karma.
- 1:28:21Speaker 8: That's life.
- 1:28:24Speaker 7: It's called trials, it's called test, it's a challenge, it's
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: a setup for a comeback. It's a lot of things.
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: But it don't have to be calmer man. You know,
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: listen to me. If you if you murder someone and
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: you get sent to prison, and that's justice, that's what
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: that that's justice. You can call it calm if you
- 1:28:53Speaker 7: want to, but it's courts. It's just justice. I notice
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: a lot of people use karma to keep you from
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: feeling forgiven. I know on a personal note that I've
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: done something way back when I was a young man,
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: And do you know that there are still people in
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: my life. When something negative happens to me, they refer
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: back to that moment as calma. I don't let him
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: do it to me. God has been forgiven me for
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: the things I've done as a young man. He been
- 1:29:32Speaker 7: forgave you a long time ago for the things you've
- 1:29:35Speaker 7: done as a young man. You've had so many blessings
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: that occurred in your life since you made that mistake
- 1:29:40Speaker 7: as a young man, as a young girl, as a
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: young woman. Do you know how many blessings you've had
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: since you've made those mistakes. Then when something else called
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: life pops up your way, here comes somebody wanting to
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: relate it back to the time you had your baby,
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: the time you left this man, you walked out of
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: this and they want to call that karma. Don't let
- 1:30:03Speaker 7: them do that. Listen to me, y'all. God is in
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: a forgiving business. When he forgives you, don't let people
- 1:30:11Speaker 7: keep you from being free of it by reminding you
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: of a word that they throw around way too loosely,
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: called karma. Every time something happen you see on in
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: that karma is a beet Comma?
- 1:30:24Speaker 8: Is this calm?
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: Is that coming?
- 1:30:26Speaker 8: Who are these people, who is the karma Committee.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: I don't go for that.
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: I have no karma committee that I answer to. I
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: answer to my heavenly Father, and I suggest that you
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: do too. So from now, when you ask God for
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: forgiveness and God forgives you, move on and don't let
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: nobody on the karma committee hold you to your former
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: past and your former mistakes, because God has allowed you
- 1:30:54Speaker 7: to move on and you should thank you very much.
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: Those are my closing remarks. Hope you got something from it. Hey,
- 1:31:02Speaker 7: y'all listen, God willing will see you all tomorrow. In
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: the meantime, talk to God he loved to hear from you.
