- 1:43Speaker 5: Probably got to turn the mouth, turn the water of
- 1:47Speaker 5: the mony up. Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out. You'll think that.
- 2:02Speaker 6: I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You're listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:14Speaker 7: if I had time enough to tell the whole trip,
- 2:17Speaker 7: the whole journey, and y'all would be sitting up in
- 2:20Speaker 7: there going, okay, Steve, are we going to play the
- 2:22Speaker 7: show this week? But man, it's been a lot of
- 2:27Speaker 7: amazing things has happened to me over the years, and
- 2:33Speaker 7: not all of them good. It's been some amazingly bad
- 2:37Speaker 7: things that have happened too. But I just come on
- 2:41Speaker 7: in the morning as a reminder to everybody of the
- 2:45Speaker 7: actual goodness of God, that you know, man, that these
- 2:48Speaker 7: mistakes that you're making, that these setbacks that you keep having,
- 2:54Speaker 7: that these falls that keep occurring in your life, that
- 2:58Speaker 7: they all are leading you so where if you just
- 3:01Speaker 7: don't ever give up, that's the key. You can never
- 3:05Speaker 7: ever give up because you don't know how the trip
- 3:10Speaker 7: has been laid out for you.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You know, if somebody had told me.
- 3:16Speaker 7: Years ago when I had the dream of being on
- 3:18Speaker 7: TV and then I thought about being a one of
- 3:22Speaker 7: one of the best comedians I could be. You know,
- 3:24Speaker 7: when I when I started, if somebody had told me
- 3:28Speaker 7: everything that was gonna have to happen in order for
- 3:32Speaker 7: me to get there, I would have changed it. I
- 3:35Speaker 7: would have I would have said, Okay, well I ain't
- 3:38Speaker 7: gonna be that. How about this? See and no one
- 3:42Speaker 7: can know all of the events of their life ahead
- 3:46Speaker 7: of time. You know, it'd be so nice, wouldn't it.
- 3:48Speaker 7: You know, to prepare for it, see it come, and
- 3:52Speaker 7: be aware of the haters, always knowing when the backstabbing
- 3:57Speaker 7: moment is coming in your life, always knowing when you're
- 4:00Speaker 7: gonna get blindsided by the enemy. Were really great to
- 4:04Speaker 7: know that, wouldn't it. Well, that's not how it works.
- 4:07Speaker 7: So since no one knows exactly the challenges and the
- 4:13Speaker 7: pitfalls and the detours that's gonna be set them, it's
- 4:19Speaker 7: it's it's imperative that you just don't give up because see,
- 4:23Speaker 7: knowing these things, we as human beings by nature, would
- 4:30Speaker 7: choose another route. But it ain't the route God God
- 4:33Speaker 7: for you, though. See the route God God for you.
- 4:36Speaker 7: If you if you're trying to do the right thing,
- 4:39Speaker 7: if you're doing the best you can, if you ain't
- 4:42Speaker 7: out here just intentionally just messing over, folks, if you're
- 4:46Speaker 7: using faith and that's the belief in things that you
- 4:49Speaker 7: cannot see. If you have something on the inside of
- 4:52Speaker 7: you to keep saying there's got to be more to
- 4:54Speaker 7: life than that, then that's that's you.
- 4:57Speaker 2: You, my friend, have a great chance here.
- 5:01Speaker 7: And if you've ever had that feeling then gave up
- 5:04Speaker 7: on it, just get it back, Just ask for it back,
- 5:07Speaker 7: Just say, hey, man, I'm getting back to the way
- 5:10Speaker 7: I used to be because there's a change that's available
- 5:13Speaker 7: in your life.
- 5:14Speaker 2: But you got to take it. You got to take
- 5:17Speaker 2: a shot at it. Folks.
- 5:18Speaker 7: There's a chance for you to get it right, but
- 5:21Speaker 7: you gotta take a shot at it.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Folks.
- 5:23Speaker 7: There's a chance for you to turn this whole thing
- 5:25Speaker 7: around with God's help, but you gotta take a shot
- 5:29Speaker 7: at it. You See, this decision is yours. The decision
- 5:33Speaker 7: to lay down, to give up. That's yours. It ain't
- 5:36Speaker 7: even just got too hard for me. Life too much, man,
- 5:39Speaker 7: life hard and too much for everybody.
- 5:42Speaker 2: What I got to get you to See?
- 5:44Speaker 7: My father used to always tell me, it says, some
- 5:46Speaker 7: best lessons in life, the one your value and learn
- 5:49Speaker 7: the most is a bout lesson. I didn't quite understand
- 5:53Speaker 7: that being young, but I show got it now. Ain't
- 5:57Speaker 7: no lesson like a bout lesson, the one you pay for.
- 6:00Speaker 7: Those are the ones that hold to you, that stick
- 6:03Speaker 7: to you, that that start turning you into who you're
- 6:06Speaker 7: gonna be. Those are the character builders. See, you got
- 6:11Speaker 7: to be forged to get to where you want to
- 6:13Speaker 7: go in life. See, that's what the challenge is and
- 6:15Speaker 7: missteps is for that's what the failing is about. Now,
- 6:19Speaker 7: I know you don't like it. I didn't. I know
- 6:21Speaker 7: you're not comfortable with I wouldn't. I know you wish
- 6:24Speaker 7: it was over sooner than later. I always do. I
- 6:28Speaker 7: always want it to be over sooner than later, because
- 6:31Speaker 7: the later, man, it just seems like it's so much
- 6:34Speaker 7: I got to go through. But let me tell you something, Man,
- 6:38Speaker 7: if you can, if you can forge your way through it,
- 6:41Speaker 7: and understand that you are forged in life.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:46Speaker 7: I was on TV in one time and I was
- 6:48Speaker 7: doing one of my motivational speeches, and I began to
- 6:53Speaker 7: wonder about this experience I had at Ford Motor Company
- 6:56Speaker 7: and my last job after the Auto Indus, she started
- 7:00Speaker 7: going down. My last job was in the foundry and
- 7:04Speaker 7: my job was to stand at the end almost where
- 7:09Speaker 7: the engines first come out of the furnace. See, the
- 7:13Speaker 7: engines are poured into a mold. It's hot, melted down
- 7:17Speaker 7: metal whatever they call it, larva or whatever. They pour
- 7:20Speaker 7: it into a mole and it goes into this furnace
- 7:23Speaker 7: that's extremely hot. And my job was after the heat
- 7:28Speaker 7: was applied to the engine block, it would come through
- 7:33Speaker 7: and it would go through a hardening stage. But the
- 7:35Speaker 7: way it was hardening, they would cool it. Suddenly they
- 7:39Speaker 7: would flush it with water. It was just blast water
- 7:41Speaker 7: on it. But the fire and the high temperature is
- 7:45Speaker 7: what made the engine blocks solidify. It's because it's got
- 7:50Speaker 7: to get real hot, get melted down first. Then it's
- 7:54Speaker 7: got to get poured into a mole. Then it's got
- 7:57Speaker 7: to be pressure hit with water and all of this,
- 8:00Speaker 7: and then it and it's real hot. Now it's still
- 8:03Speaker 7: hot even though this water been shotter. But when it
- 8:05Speaker 7: comes out the end of the side, there's a lot
- 8:08Speaker 7: of flashing in it. It flashing is a metal from
- 8:10Speaker 7: that to drip through the cast molding on it, just
- 8:14Speaker 7: like flex of extra pieces of metal. My job was
- 8:19Speaker 7: to hit this engine block in the front, which is huge,
- 8:23Speaker 7: heavy rubber mallet, knock all the flashing off the front,
- 8:28Speaker 7: and when it came around back to bam, hit it
- 8:31Speaker 7: real hard again on the backside. And that became the
- 8:36Speaker 7: core of what the car is. A car without a
- 8:39Speaker 7: great engine is nothing. It's just a pretty looking vehicle
- 8:43Speaker 7: over there. But if it can't do what it was
- 8:45Speaker 7: made to do because the engine block, then crack. See
- 8:48Speaker 7: you can have a car look real good, but if
- 8:50Speaker 7: it freezes. An engine block cracked your car, you could
- 8:53Speaker 7: it's over man. You got to get a new block.
- 8:56Speaker 7: The block is the core. But in order for the
- 8:59Speaker 7: car to do it got to do, it's got to
- 9:01Speaker 7: have a strong engine in it. In order for the
- 9:03Speaker 7: engine to be strong, it's got to be forged and steal,
- 9:06Speaker 7: come through fire, get poured in a mole, cooled off, heated,
- 9:11Speaker 7: knocked around, beat on the front end, beat on the
- 9:13Speaker 7: back end in order for it to be what it's
- 9:16Speaker 7: gonna be. The mall of the story, folks, is you
- 9:19Speaker 7: got to get forged in fire to be what you
- 9:22Speaker 7: gonna be. You got to get beat up, you got
- 9:25Speaker 7: to get pressure washed, you got to have heat on
- 9:28Speaker 7: you, you got to get melted down, you got to get
- 9:30Speaker 7: pulled into a mole.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That's how you become who you are.
- 9:34Speaker 7: So the tough things that you're going through, the difficult
- 9:37Speaker 7: challenges and the setbacks. I know a brother who went
- 9:40Speaker 7: to prison, ma'am. And the whole reason he ended up
- 9:43Speaker 7: going to prison because he was looking at the little
- 9:45Speaker 7: window looking out in the yard at him working out.
- 9:48Speaker 7: And then the next thing, you know, man, this brother
- 9:51Speaker 7: decided that he was gonna go out there and work out. Well,
- 9:53Speaker 7: guess what, he's one of the top trainers in country.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.

- 11:08Speaker 9: You know what, despite of everything that be happening, Uncle,
- 11:11Speaker 9: I thought about some of my grandmother said, Man, I
- 11:13Speaker 9: think myself happy. Uncle, do you ever take time just
- 11:17Speaker 9: to think yourself happy with everything that? I think myself happy?
- 11:22Speaker 2: I ain't seen you do it yet, but I do
- 11:24Speaker 2: it all the time.
- 11:26Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 7: He waiting for you. Let me know the next time
- 11:29Speaker 7: you do it. Okay, sit here and watch it happen.
- 11:32Speaker 7: I see my grandmama told him to do that.
- 11:37Speaker 6: I ain't that saying something his grandmama always said.
- 11:40Speaker 2: He say that. What he did, he had me it.
- 11:43Speaker 7: I had to think myself happy. I've tried I've tried
- 11:46Speaker 7: a couple of times. I ain't make it a couple
- 11:48Speaker 7: of times to yeah, just said I'm been sit over here,
- 11:50Speaker 7: just think myself hapy, and then I got to thinking
- 11:53Speaker 7: too long, and then something else came up somebody I was, Yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 7: it works both ways, junior, I kind of you don't
- 12:05Speaker 7: have to do that. Sometimes you don't thank myself happy,
- 12:08Speaker 7: but then you ever tried, and then another thought pop
- 12:11Speaker 7: in and you go in that direction. Ain't nothing happy
- 12:14Speaker 7: at all? Yeah, I've done that too.
- 12:19Speaker 8: Make yourself happy, angry changing.
- 12:23Speaker 7: I was witnessing one day about the power of God
- 12:26Speaker 7: and then threatened to do as when I got finished.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Are you for real right now?
- 12:31Speaker 11: No?
- 12:32Speaker 7: No, I'm very for real. That actually happened. Yeah, man,
- 12:36Speaker 7: mold than once.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Go together.
- 12:40Speaker 10: But okay, but you.
- 12:42Speaker 7: Know, today, man, I'm planning on a good day today,
- 12:46Speaker 7: looking for something very optimistic, very appreciative of God. The
- 12:49Speaker 7: thing I'm really learning to know of late, and this
- 12:51Speaker 7: is real talk. If I release it to God, that
- 12:56Speaker 7: I really don't have to concern myself with it, and
- 12:59Speaker 7: that gives you a measure of peace. That's It's undescribable.
- 13:04Speaker 7: And I feel kind of crazy sometimes because It's like, man,
- 13:08Speaker 7: are you paying attention to your life?
- 13:10Speaker 6: What's going on? Are you? Are you on top of this? Yeah?
- 13:13Speaker 7: Man, I just gave it over to God, and so
- 13:17Speaker 7: whatever he do, I'm going that's what I'm gonna do.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I get that too, Steve. It's like, you know, don't
- 13:23Speaker 1: you care? Aren't your concern? Of course I care? But
- 13:25Speaker 1: if you give it to God, you gotta let it go.
- 13:28Speaker 1: You can't worry about it. You move on.
- 13:30Speaker 7: And if I'm gonna keep worrying about the outcome and
- 13:33Speaker 7: what's gonna happen tomorrow, where.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Is the peace in that?
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's logic right there? All right, thank you guys. Coming

- 27:21Speaker 1: My wife said, I treat her brother like he's beneath me.

- 28:07Speaker 7: I'm not and I'm gonna quit over extending myself that
- 28:12Speaker 7: people to people that don't deserve it, appreciate it.
- 28:16Speaker 6: I'm not doing that.
- 28:17Speaker 7: I'm not over extending myself this year for nobody that
- 28:22Speaker 7: has shown me in the past that it's that it's
- 28:25Speaker 7: unappreciated or they gonna just keep coming for it.

- 28:47Speaker 1: you know, doesn't like the fact that he does that
- 28:49Speaker 1: because it's her brother.
- 28:52Speaker 6: So you know, I ain't. I ain't married to your brother.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you all work that out.
- 29:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm your husband. I'm not doing the other. I
- 29:05Speaker 7: don't have no other pronoun I'm your husband.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Okay, all right? Moving on to Sapphire and Newark, Sapphire posts,
- 29:15Speaker 1: Sapphire rights. I posted a makeup video and I didn't
- 29:18Speaker 1: realize that my side pieces, big old sneakers were in
- 29:21Speaker 1: the background. I'm in a long distance relationship. And my
- 29:25Speaker 1: boyfriend noticed that and he pointed it out to me.
- 29:28Speaker 1: He ended our relationship. How do I fix this?
- 29:32Speaker 2: You can't.
- 29:34Speaker 7: You had your side pieces big shoes in the background.
- 29:37Speaker 7: That's what y'all get. It was a guy, a guy
- 29:41Speaker 7: I know. He married, right, So he went on a
- 29:44Speaker 7: golf trip and his wife. He sent a picture of
- 29:48Speaker 7: him to his wife. Uh huh, But he had his
- 29:52Speaker 7: side piece take the picture. She took the picture for him.
- 29:56Speaker 7: But he was standing by a mirror and he what
- 30:00Speaker 7: did that picture to his life? And you could see
- 30:03Speaker 7: the girl's arm and half for her body in the picture,
- 30:06Speaker 7: and he forwarded to the white Yeah, I'm down with
- 30:09Speaker 7: baby unpacked?
- 30:11Speaker 6: She said, who is that in your room?
- 30:13Speaker 2: Taking?
- 30:14Speaker 1: That's all she cared about.
- 30:17Speaker 7: I couldn't say that was a maid because she show
- 30:19Speaker 7: didn't have on the made outfit.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Wow, all right, that was stupid. Ye coming up at
- 30:29Speaker 1: the top of the hour. We will have some entertainment
- 30:31Speaker 1: news for you right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 30:36Speaker 1: Morning Show. So t I has taken this feud with
- 30:43Speaker 1: fifty cent from social media to the studio. In two
- 30:46Speaker 1: new disc tracks, Tip claims he is paperwork tying fifties
- 30:51Speaker 1: name to prison documents. That's a direct shot of fifty
- 30:54Speaker 1: street credibility. The beef stems from long standing versus talk,
- 30:58Speaker 1: with TI accusing fifty of a boy in the battle
- 31:00Speaker 1: while trolling online instead. In addition, Tina Knowles showed some
- 31:05Speaker 1: love to t I's wife Tiny and her post of
- 31:07Speaker 1: her new brains. Tiny thanked Tina Knowles and social media
- 31:11Speaker 1: followers commented on the post and agreed by saying, always
- 31:16Speaker 1: protect black women. There you go, Yeah, I agree more Yeah, yes.
- 31:21Speaker 7: Well, fifty has said something about the post about the
- 31:26Speaker 7: Tina Knowles which wasn't really the smartest thing to do.
- 31:30Speaker 7: I don't look, man, this whole thing right because you
- 31:33Speaker 7: get real close to the bee high and you're saying
- 31:36Speaker 7: what you won't I'm kating, like now they come for you. Hey,
- 31:40Speaker 7: they now stop. But you know, man, like this going
- 31:45Speaker 7: after t I's wife and kids, that's just not cool. Man, Yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 7: that's just not cool. But I'm telling you what though,
- 31:56Speaker 7: if smoke is what you won't he got it for
- 31:59Speaker 7: you and I don't. I don't think that you with
- 32:05Speaker 7: with him and with t I man like it can
- 32:08Speaker 7: go either way.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Yeah, he's so prolific. Yeah, yeah, he's beloved.
- 32:14Speaker 8: He's beloved, so you know, yeah, believe like you said,
- 32:17Speaker 8: wife and kids off limits.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 7: And I even heard the dish tracks. First of all,
- 32:24Speaker 7: let's get me a round of applause.
- 32:26Speaker 6: I don't know I heard these dish tracks. But listen
- 32:33Speaker 6: to him and yeah, baby, come on, yeah, y'all.
- 32:38Speaker 15: Ill.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Well, t I does make you, you know, take notice.
- 32:44Speaker 1: He does. That's what he does, all right, He's a star.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah wow, all right. Widespread violence across Mexico still going on.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It's left dozens of people dead, including twenty five members
- 32:57Speaker 1: of the country's National Guard, and many of Mykans are stranded.
- 33:01Speaker 1: They're trying to get home. Violence erupted following the killing
- 33:04Speaker 1: of cartel boss elmenthow the cartel retaliation was immediate and widespread.
- 33:11Speaker 1: The US empathy told staff and Americans in several cities
- 33:14Speaker 1: to shelter in place. The country has been trying to
- 33:18Speaker 1: crack down on fentanel trafficking. However, analysts warn that this
- 33:22Speaker 1: act could now spark new violence as rival groups try
- 33:26Speaker 1: to seize territory.
- 33:27Speaker 7: Which is when they say shelter, when they tell these
- 33:30Speaker 7: tourists and Americans to shelter, What what I mean? What
- 33:34Speaker 7: are they saying?
- 33:34Speaker 1: Say where you are? Don't you stay where you're Stay
- 33:37Speaker 1: at the hotel, stay at the resort. Stay there. Yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 1: stay there, Do not try to leave, Do not go
- 33:46Speaker 1: sight seeing that none of out here. It's violent. You
- 33:49Speaker 1: have to tell people that, yeah, yeah, and I understand
- 33:53Speaker 1: they want to get home, but not right now. Shelter
- 33:56Speaker 1: in place. Yeah, all right. Moving on. Finally, Minnesota Governor
- 34:01Speaker 1: Tim Waltz that you asked about this the other day.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz has ordered all flags to fly
- 34:08Speaker 1: at half staff at all state buildings in Minnesota starting
- 34:12Speaker 1: sunrise yesterday until sunrise tonight. This order is in honor
- 34:16Speaker 1: of and remembrance of Reverend Jesse Jackson, who passed away
- 34:20Speaker 1: at age eighty four. Governor walstaid, in part, Reverend Jackson
- 34:24Speaker 1: spent his life pushing America to live up to his
- 34:27Speaker 1: highest ideals. His fight for civil rights, dignity, and fairness
- 34:31Speaker 1: changed our country and will inspire generations to come.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know all well said Governor Walston.
- 34:40Speaker 7: Just on the reverse side of it, Mike Johnson has refused.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yes, figure of the House speaking out.
- 34:50Speaker 7: He refused to do that for Jesse Jackson, But they
- 34:53Speaker 7: did it for Charlie Kirk, who has made no contribution
- 34:59Speaker 7: to the wealth, fair and goodness of people nowhere. And
- 35:04Speaker 7: all Reverend Jesse Jackson tried to do was move people
- 35:08Speaker 7: towards the center to civil decency, not superiority, just human decency,
- 35:17Speaker 7: just equality. You see the difference between him and a
- 35:20Speaker 7: Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was pushing for superiority, trying to
- 35:25Speaker 7: prove why another race or group of people were less
- 35:28Speaker 7: than the other one so he could feel better about hisself.
- 35:32Speaker 7: Jesse Jackson tried to show that we were all the
- 35:36Speaker 7: same and equally pushed America for civil rights, the right.
- 35:40Speaker 2: To be treated civil. It's just it's what I'm telling you, man.
- 35:43Speaker 7: This administration by far is the worst we've ever had
- 35:48Speaker 7: in my lifetime.
- 35:50Speaker 1: This is right now.
- 35:55Speaker 7: Show that this country, man is in a horrible mess.
- 35:59Speaker 7: But these Republicans sit there and act like they don't
- 36:03Speaker 7: see what's happening because they're afraid of Donald Trump.
- 36:07Speaker 8: I mean, we saw train at Union the longest in history,
- 36:11Speaker 8: and I ain't.
- 36:12Speaker 7: Never steal it from nobody that many times. Yeah, I'd
- 36:20Speaker 7: have heard some good church songs at my church and
- 36:23Speaker 7: didn't stand for it. I just got here, man, y'all,
- 36:26Speaker 7: y'all doing this song. A little bit too young, too long.
- 36:29Speaker 1: You know, tote. Yeah, sometimes when you have on heels

- 56:48Speaker 9: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the
- 56:50Speaker 9: Strawberry Letter with my good friend Shirley straw Berry.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Thank you, my good friend. Junior subject, I can't wait
- 56:58Speaker 1: till the summer. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm married to a
- 57:02Speaker 1: slightly older man and he is three teenagers from three
- 57:05Speaker 1: previous relationships. When we got married, I encouraged him to
- 57:09Speaker 1: be more present in his children's lives. They were in
- 57:12Speaker 1: middle school at the time. First, we had to fix
- 57:14Speaker 1: the relationship with all of his baby mamas. They are
- 57:18Speaker 1: all from the hood and can't say a complete sentence
- 57:21Speaker 1: without cursing. I'm very different from them, and it never
- 57:24Speaker 1: been exposed to ladies that act like them, so I
- 57:27Speaker 1: instantly wanted to be cool with all of them. I
- 57:31Speaker 1: got my wish, and I have great relationships with them.
- 57:34Speaker 1: That helped us get the kids to spend weekends at
- 57:37Speaker 1: our house again. They were in middle school at the time.
- 57:40Speaker 1: That's forward to present day, and they're all living with
- 57:43Speaker 1: my husband and I in our three bedroom apartment. About
- 57:47Speaker 1: two months ago, my husband decided that he needed to
- 57:50Speaker 1: be a hands on father to keep his boys from
- 57:52Speaker 1: getting into trouble and to keep his daughter from getting pregnant.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I agreed with him at the time, but now I
- 57:59Speaker 1: can't wait till summer so the kids can get out
- 58:02Speaker 1: of my house. Not only are we busting at the
- 58:06Speaker 1: seams up in here, they are rude and have slick
- 58:09Speaker 1: comments all the time. They don't clean up behind themselves,
- 58:12Speaker 1: and as soon as we buy food, it's gone. I'm
- 58:15Speaker 1: sorry I ever encouraged my husband to ask them to
- 58:17Speaker 1: stay with us. They're supposed to be here till school ends.
- 58:21Speaker 1: One is graduating and the other two will go back
- 58:23Speaker 1: to live with their moms. I may not make it
- 58:26Speaker 1: till then, my husband and I can't can't even have
- 58:29Speaker 1: sex and peace or do anything else in peace. I
- 58:32Speaker 1: hate sharing my bathroom and my space in general. Would
- 58:36Speaker 1: I be low down if I said they need to
- 58:40Speaker 1: leave now? Well, yes you would, Yes, you would. I
- 58:43Speaker 1: know this is your house and you want to be
- 58:44Speaker 1: comfortable in your house and all of that. You can't
- 58:47Speaker 1: kick them out though you're the one who agreed with
- 58:49Speaker 1: your husband and encouraged him that the kids should stay
- 58:52Speaker 1: with you. Guys, you can't renig on that now. So
- 58:57Speaker 1: you know it is a mess right now, and I
- 58:59Speaker 1: know you want them, but you got to try to
- 59:01Speaker 1: hang in there because summer will be here before you
- 59:04Speaker 1: know it. So I say, right now, concentrate on the positive.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Your husband is trying to be a good dad to
- 59:11Speaker 1: his kids, and he feels in order to do that,
- 59:14Speaker 1: they need to be with him. At least give him
- 59:17Speaker 1: an e for effort for that. But what he doesn't
- 59:20Speaker 1: get credit for, of course, is not disciplining them and
- 59:23Speaker 1: allowing them to disrespect you. So you got to talk
- 59:26Speaker 1: to your husband about it. You guys are all up
- 59:28Speaker 1: in there now. The summertime is on its way. They're
- 59:31Speaker 1: going to be there until then. After that they'll live
- 59:34Speaker 1: with their moms and one will graduate.
- 59:36Speaker 7: That's it, Steve, Yeah, I agree with Shirley, but your
- 59:41Speaker 7: motivation for having these kids in the first place was
- 59:44Speaker 7: all wrong, all wrong. And the whole idea of having
- 59:49Speaker 7: these kids was yours. This was you, but it was
- 59:53Speaker 7: a very strange reason why you wanted to do it.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Though.
- 59:57Speaker 7: You say, you're married to this slightly older man that's
- 59:59Speaker 7: got three teenagers from three previous relationships, and you encouraged
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: them to be more present in his child's children's lives,
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: and they were in middle school at the time. But
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: you said, first we had to fix your relationship with
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: all the baby mamas. Then you said, they all from
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: the hood and they can't say a complete sentence without cursing.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: I'm very different from them and have never been exposed
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: to ladies like that who.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: Act like that.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: And now here's the odd part. You said, so I
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: instantly wanted to be cool with all of them. See,
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: you was fascinated with the hood life. You was caught
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: up in it. So now you instantly wanted to be
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: cool with them. And then guess what, I got my wish,
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: and I have a great relationship with them. That helped
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: us get the kids to spend week ends at our
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: house again.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: They were all in middle school at the time.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Now fast forward to the present and they're all living
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: with my husband and I in our three bedroom apartment.
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: About two months ago, my husband decided he need to
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: be more hands on father to keep his boys from
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: getting into trouble. Yes, yes, that makes sense, and to
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: keep his daughter from getting pregnant. Okay, stand up guy,
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: step up dad. I agreed with him, But now I
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: can't wait till the summer so the kid can get
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: out my house. We busted at the seams in here.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: They don't clean up behind themselves. And as soon as
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: we buy food is gone. What did you think when
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: you bought the food?
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: It's gone?
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: You know, as soon as we buy food is gone.
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: You don't buy food to take it to the house
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: to show. Hey, look at refrigerator food. Nobody take THEMSELFI
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: stand next to the food, takes themself. Ain't nobody doing that, Doug?
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: They open up that frigerator. We got something to eat.
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: You know, that's what people do. They eat, They eat food.
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: You know this ain't Thanksgiving? What y'all make that cake
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: for show? And ain't nobody supposed to eat the cake
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: until everybody has seen it. One is graduating, another two
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: will go back to live with their moms. You ask
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: them to stay with y'all right, your husband can't have
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: sex and peace or do anything else. I hate sharing
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: my bathroom and my space in general. Would I be
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: low down if I said they need to leave now? Yes? Yes,
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: because you can't do people like this. And remember this
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: was your idea and you wanted to be cool with.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: The hood girls.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: We're there now. You to learn how to lay your
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: head just down with that grease.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks guy, Steve, we'll have part to your response.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Pulling up at twenty twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject I can't wait till the summer
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:54Speaker 1: four hundred or globelife radio dot com. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. I can't wait till the summer.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't wait till the summer.
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: Why because you didn't invite it to you to encourage
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: this man to be closer with his kids. They was
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: in middle school and he decided to take you up
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: on it to help his boys stay out of trouble.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: He don't want his daughter getting pregnant, so they'd have
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: moved into y'all three bedroom. And now I was busting
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: at the scenes. You want them out because they're doing
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: all types of crazy stuff. They don't clean up after theyself,
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: and as soon as we buy food, it's gone. What
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: do you expect? You don't like sharing your bathroom and
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: your space or none of that, and they everywhere too
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: because they're teenagers.
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: Fool.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Well, I have no more to say to this letter
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: except it's your fault. You invited him. And would you
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: be wrong for asking him to leave? Now, yes, you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Would because you told your husband he should have a
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: stronger relationship with his kids, something he always wanted, and
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: now you helped him get it, and you want it
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: to be over with because you got to share your space.
- 1:05:04Speaker 10: That's Steve.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Give the dad some props though in this, because he
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: wants the kids there, He wants to be in their
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: lives now.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: He wants to get active in his boy's life to
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: keep them out of trouble, and he don't want his
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: daughter getting pregnant. I mean, what a great dad stepping
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: up like that. But now they're in your space right
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: which is his space too. So I mean, lady, you
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: cannot ask these kids to leave in the middle because
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: you invited them. And when you do that, you know
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: that cool relationship you have worked up with the hood girls,
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: that's finna be over with.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: They're gonna quit teaching you stuff they know.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: See, they took you down there to the whigs, though
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: they ain't okay you back down there no more. They
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: just showed you how to do these glue is. You
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: ain't finna learn all that no more. They taught you
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: how to cuss. You know you're gonna be at your
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: little boys, your friends. You ain't gonna be cussing no more,
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: none of that.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Yeah. But and what teenage boys don't eat you out
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: of house at home? I mean really two.
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: Come on, man, when you boys lived at the house, Jason,
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: Stevie and Winter, uh huh. I would sit there at
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: the table and go, man, I used to do that,
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: eat like this is dad, bottomless pit. Nobody ain't more
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: than Jason. Jason ain't food man like like like like
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: like like he wasn't gonna get none tomorrow.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: Man, the boys eat, but that's what they do.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's complaining and she is the one that
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: told them to come there.
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: Lloyd told me, Daddy, the boys ain't all the food. Yeah,
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: I know, I know, I said. I watched him.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: But what am I gonna eat?
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: You ain't going there television there and get some.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Anyway. That's all I have on the letter. I can't
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: stretch it out no more any more questions from you.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: You yeah, you know, I'm just now you. I'll tell
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: you what I ask you.
- 1:07:28Speaker 12: This.
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: Am I not thinking about myself in a positive way
- 1:07:32Speaker 9: after you told me that I'm not My character is
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: of myself.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: I'm not describing promking.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: Yourself in a positive way. At all for people who
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: don't know. I asked Junior earlier. I said, JR, how
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: would you describe yourself? Because I've never asked you that?
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: And I was talking in a bubbly way. I said, man,
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: how would you describe yourself? You know, go ahead and tell.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Me so I can me.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: I said, well, I have a chronic disease living with that.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: That was yeah, I was supposed to die eleven. I'm
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: cold Nation.
- 1:08:17Speaker 10: Don't forget.
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: I got a running tab down at the hospital.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: No, no, yeah, it was all wrong.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I was a permanent hospital braceley. So for sickle cell.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: You ain't asked me that.
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: So I thought that I thought I was doing. I
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: thought I nailed it myself.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: I thought I did.
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: I told the truth.
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: I thought that was you nailed it. You took the
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: show in the whole nother direction because we all got depressed.
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: You said, described us. That's what That's all I can remember.
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: I'm chronic illness. I'm on medication, cold nature. See these things,
- 1:08:57Speaker 9: these things are describing me.
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: No you know, no, No, that's not you that you're
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: describing a condition. Yeah, I asked you for a description
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: of yourself.
- 1:09:10Speaker 10: Oh I see, but that's the one I thought he
- 1:09:13Speaker 10: would see. That's what you ain't never asked me before.
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: That's why I thought it was the right answer.
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: I told you I ain't never asked you.
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: And I said what I thought you wouldn't be paying attention.
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: I told you I got I was paying paying attention.

- 1:11:28Speaker 9: The United States men's hockey team made an appearance at
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: the State of the Union address last night.
- 1:11:33Speaker 10: Trump is going to give the goalie a medal honor.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Connor Buck.
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: Helpbuck, He's gonna give him a medal honor for the
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: goalie for the men's United States hockey team. They are
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: standing in the eye with their gold medals. But here's
- 1:11:44Speaker 9: something that nobody's talking about. Did anybody see cash but
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: tail celebrating with the men's hockey team after they want
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: to go? Why is the FBI director in the in
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: the locker room the hockey with the hockey team, like
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: he ain't got.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: Enough to do, right, won't you?
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: Why don't you get over there and release them files
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: hockey that all of them?
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: Yeah, all of them? Wy don't you do just over there? Well,
- 1:12:11Speaker 10: you ain't got no bit where it's snoop aed Snoop
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: supposed to be in there. Why are you in there?
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: That just didn't make no sense. Trump said, well, we
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: want to invite the women's hockey team.
- 1:12:21Speaker 10: Do they even want to go?
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: You need to ask them women?
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: No, they initially no, no. Yeah, I asked them.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: If they want to go.
- 1:12:29Speaker 10: I wouldn't want to go. I'm not I wouldn't want
- 1:12:31Speaker 10: to go the way you talk about that.
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I personally don't think that the director of the
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: FBI should be cock eyed.
- 1:12:40Speaker 18: I was just you know, you know, that's that's just
- 1:12:47Speaker 18: you know, I mean, I don't I don't know how
- 1:12:49Speaker 18: he gonna see what he supposed to see.
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: You the head of the FBI. FBI specializes in evidence.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god, the forensics of it.
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: All yeah, Now, highs you cock Eye. That's what I'm
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: not understanding it.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You really are a comedian because I never thought that selection.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: That's your takeaway from all of the.
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: Because at the moment he say we saw the evidence, really,
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: nobody really and you obviously have saw more evidence than the.
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: Rest of us because everything you know, cock Eye, people
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: see everything.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: In two.
- 1:13:45Speaker 9: NFL combine starts today as well, the NFL combine.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: If he go to that, do you know how many
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: people he gonna see? Running the fat of the hour?
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Young man that social media needs some advice, he says,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: is it wrong to want a prenup? We'll talk about
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Morning Show, Dave. This is from Desmond on Steve BARBFM.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Desmond says, I've been with my girlfriend for almost five
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: years and we're at the point where she wants to
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: get married, but we keep hitting a wall over a prenup.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I grew up poor and have worked very hard to
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: build my savings and retirement and while she comes from
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: a wealthy family and will never have to worry about money,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: when I bring up protecting what I've built, she says,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: it makes her feel like I'm planning for divorce instead
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: of forever. I love her and don't want to treat
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: marriage like a business deal, but I also don't want
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: to ignore the financial reality. Is asking for a prenup wrong?
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: Well, this is my experience with it that I've seen.
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: I don't have a prenup. This is what I've seen.
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: Every married couple that I have ever seen that had
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: a prenup has had to use it. I don't know
- 1:15:10Speaker 7: a couple that had a pre nup that ain't used it.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Well, he said. She said that she feels like she's
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: planning for divorce instead of forever with the prenum.
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: I can't say that for people, but I've just never
- 1:15:29Speaker 7: seen a couple that didn't have a that had a
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: prenup that didn't use it. It's preparation for failure, and
- 1:15:36Speaker 7: it's always hanging out there. This is the number that
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: I can get out on, and as soon as you
- 1:15:43Speaker 7: get tired of working on it, you got to look
- 1:15:46Speaker 7: over it, that get out number. And there's nothing wrong
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: with that. If that's how you want to live, go
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: ahead and get you one. But if her family is
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: super well off, like you say, and she'll never have
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: to work again. But I come from nothing that I
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: work very hard to get it. Part of marriage is
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: sharing your life with the person, and part of sharing
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: your life is to share what you've become with them,
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: and hopefully you marry a person that makes you better. Yeah,
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: so you know, man, if you don't want to do
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: the prenup, then don't get married. Quit telling her how
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: much you love her and.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: What she mean to you.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: If you want a prenup and she don't want to
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: do it, then don't get married. Now she choose to
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: go her own way. You ain't got nobody to.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: Blame but yourself, right because you want the prenup and
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: she don't.
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: So look, bro, gonna tell her you're not gonna marry
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: without it, and then see what you get, and we're
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: gonna find out how much you really love her.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Gonna find out.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Okay, all right, moving on, we do have time for
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: another one. This is from Kyle on Steve BARBFM. Kyle says,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: this morning, I was threatened with the revocation of my
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: gym membership because I answered a phone call from my
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: wife locker room. Did you all know about this rule?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I've never heard of it. It's crazy, So you can't
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: talk to use your cell phone in the locker room.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: He getting the revocation of his gym membership.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Yeah, they're going to take it, take it, take his gym.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Revoke it.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Yeah, revoke it.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Okay, well you have it.
- 1:17:20Speaker 6: I don't care.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: I got to answer my phone with my wife called.
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: She called, I'll be on the radio. I have to y'all,
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: y'all hear me answer the phone all the time. I
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: got to answer for my wife.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: It's the family first rule.
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: Give it this gym membership. My girl called me. I
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: got to answer this phone and something could be wrong.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, but do you got I mean, is there such
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: a rule heard that?
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: I never heard it.
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: Well, I let me let me just stop because no, say,
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: I ain't got no gym membership, but I do have
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: subal country club membership. And you can you use your
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: cell phone inside the country club. Sometimes you can't. Like
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: you're in the dining hall, there's no cell phones. And
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: if you're in the locker room, there's no cell phones.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: What he's saying, locker So then there it is.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's serious.
- 1:18:20Speaker 16: Dog.
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: You have the little bullsy little club going down there
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: and get down at the real club.
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: Go to the ymc ain't you use your phone anyway
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: you want to in there?
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: You all down there. You are all down there at
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: the Orange Thie and all that that. Go to twenty
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: four hour. You know about that little Bullshy membership at Bullshy.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I didn't know they could. Yeah, all right, we'll have
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at

- 1:21:58Speaker 11: I really.

- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Would you rather be in the history books for something terrible?
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Or would you rather die for God? Oh? No, no
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: eight Yeah, boks for doing something terrible.
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: You're gonna be in the history, Junior. What terrible would
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: you be in the books for?
- 1:22:46Speaker 12: Oh?
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: I love?
- 1:22:47Speaker 10: Oh man, I didn't.
- 1:22:50Speaker 15: You?
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: Or why can I gonna talk about it?
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: That?
- 1:22:53Speaker 10: I don't want to get in trouble.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: Yeah, you don't get in trouble. Ain't gonna tell nobody
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: what you do.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Just you know nine million people lift, Yeah.
- 1:23:02Speaker 9: That we ain't gonna tell, just like I'm just saying
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: somebody studio, you.
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: Ain't doing nothing.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Just what you did though, that's limitation.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Ah, yeah, you know what we didn't.
- 1:23:13Speaker 10: We didn't need some stuff on you know.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: I do plenty of stuff.
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: I ain't got no problem to I won't know what
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: it is. You just Junior, that done? What have you done?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: That's terrible?
- 1:23:23Speaker 10: Junior?
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: You know we we've heard, we heard some people. That's all.
- 1:23:27Speaker 10: We've heard a lot.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Howe, that's enough that.
- 1:23:33Speaker 10: I've heard some people.
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: He hurts some people who he hurt.
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: Off the.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Get into it trying to hurt Uh huh the case.
- 1:23:47Speaker 10: What's the statue of limitations? What's the statue?
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Man? We don't know.
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: We're not lawyers.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Yeah, seven years.
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: I stabbed the dude in his butt on a bike.
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: One time.
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: We were racing and he was winning and I had
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: my little boy Scout knife and I opened it and
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: won the race.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: That was my first.
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: That was my first.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: You are you are the worst junior into this? Please
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you just don't say junior time.
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: I was eleven. I was the eleventh when I had
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: my first.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: When you stop that today's round of would you rather
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: please Jesus coming up with.
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: Hair like going to him? Beat me.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Today? Closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Life is unpredictable, but protecting your family doesn't have to
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: be complicated. Global Life how family secure their future with
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: simple affordable life insurance. There's no metal exam, just a
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: simple application with rates starting as low as three dollars
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: and forty nine cents a month. Globe Life insurance is
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: easy to buy, called Globe Life Today at one eight
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: hundred two five one fifty four hundred, or visit globelife
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: radio dot com. That's one eight hundred two one fifty
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: four hundred or Globelife radio dot com. All right, guys,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. It's been
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: a good day. Thank you guys for listening. As always, Steve,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you have some words of wisdom to leave us with.
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, we were talking one day and I
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: was asking somebody. Oh it was Junior, to be exact,
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: I was asking Junior on the radio. I said, hey, Junior,
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: how would you describe yourself? And that's an important question
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: for everybody. If somebody were to ask you, how do
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: you describe yourself? What would you say? How would you start?
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: And that's a very very interesting question. So do a
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: drill to day. Do an exercise with yourself today. Imagine
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: that someone was asking you how would you describe yourself?
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: And then just honestly.
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: Start saying out loud or writing down how you would
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: describe yourself. And when you are done, I want you
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: to read what your paper says or go back over
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: what you said, because what I want to share with
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: you is this, you have to be very very conscious
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: and very very careful of the verbal things that come
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: out your mouth because that is the thing that is
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: projected into the universe that has to come back to you.
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: See your mind, your mind, your brain, your thoughts, your
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: mouth is the strongest remote control ever created. And the
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: reason I say that is because we were all created
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: in the image of God, and God clearly says that
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: a man is as he thinking. So you have to
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: be conscious in what you project about yourself because that's
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: going to be the return if you and this being true,
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: that your mind and your mouth is the greatest remote
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: control ever invented, is more powerful than your TV remote control.
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: Go in the house and pick up your remote control,
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: point it at your TV and press the on button.
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: What do you expect to happen, Well, you expect for
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: your television to come on, and guess what happens. That's
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: what happens because when you press that button, you're sending
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: a signal out and what returns is the signal receptor.
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: So if you press on and you expect your TV
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: to come on, guess what your TV come on. If
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: your TV don't come on, you immediately start looking at
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: the remote, You start checking stuff, you start doing, you
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: start troubleshooting.
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: What is wrong. Well, your brain works the exist exact
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: same way.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: Whatever you say out loud, whatever you send out into
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: the universe, you can expect that to come out. So
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: and if it don't come back to you the same
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: way you put it out. You can start troubleshooting and
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: guess what it's gonna lead back to what you put out.
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: It's the signal that you sent out. Give you an example, Hey, man,
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: what's going on with you? How are you well?
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: It just seemed like a truy. I can't get away
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: from no trouble, man, just trouble. Just follow me, man,
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: it just seemed like I can't get a break. Man,
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: I ain't got I ain't man, I ain't having no luck.
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: Guess what you have just described what's happening to you
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: and will continue to you because that's the signal that

- 1:29:48Speaker 7: your day going? Well, I'm here. I woke up this morning.
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: I'm grateful for that. Now, some things might be going on,
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: but I got a handle on it because I done
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: gave it over to God. You see what happens. There's
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: a difference, hey man, Describe yourself. Well, I can't catch
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: a break, you know. I try to stay on the path, man,
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: but something always come up and throw me off. I've
- 1:30:13Speaker 7: been trying to make it, man, but I just saying
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: it ain't happening.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: For me right now.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: Well guess what that's true? But if somebody say, man,
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: how's it going for you? Hey man?
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: God is working on my behalf behind the scenes. I
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: really don't know what's going on, but I know he
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: got me and here in control of it. And everything
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: I've ever gone through, he'd thene brought me through and
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: I'm expecting him to do the same thing for me.
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: You see the difference. That's what will happen in your life.
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: A man is as he thinking. Stop thinking negatively about yourself.
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: Stop describing yourself in a negative way. Use positive reinforcement.
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: Get it in your head that you are find that
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: you are created by a good God, that God has
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: a plan for you, that God has a plan for
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: you to prosper you. Do you understand that, man, for
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: I got plans for you, and my plans for you
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: is to prosper you. That's somewhere Joshua was something Jeremiah
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: what surely see Sureley know all that it's Jeremiah. See
