- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milking buck things in its cubs. Y'all good it,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve har listen to the movie Together for Studley. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join by join me in doing me. Honey, you
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn, you gotta turn turn turn, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water the water go. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back that, Uh huh, I sure will
- 2:02Speaker 1: A good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey. I
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, yeah, man, real grateful for that.
- 2:15Speaker 1: You know, it's funny, man. I remember when I first
- 2:18Speaker 1: started out in radio. A lot of my peers laughed
- 2:21Speaker 1: at me. It was, you know, some of it was
- 2:25Speaker 1: being mean spirited, some of it was just you know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: marking me. I'm used to stuff like that. But I
- 2:33Speaker 1: had a special guest on my show, Joel Oldstein, on
- 2:36Speaker 1: my talk show, and you know something, man, he said
- 2:39Speaker 1: something that was I can't remember the scripture. I don't
- 2:42Speaker 1: know exactly how I where. Like we were having a
- 2:44Speaker 1: long conversation, but the gist of it was, don't be
- 2:49Speaker 1: upset with where you are now, and don't be upset
- 2:51Speaker 1: with the small things in your life. Be grateful for
- 2:55Speaker 1: the small things and the small position that you have
- 2:58Speaker 1: right now, because you don't know where that's going. You
- 3:00Speaker 1: don't know what that's gonna be one day, you don't
- 3:02Speaker 1: know what that's gonna lead to. And I was very
- 3:06Speaker 1: warming to hear him say that, But it also reminded
- 3:09Speaker 1: me of when I started in radio, how small it was.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It reminded me of when I started in stand up
- 3:15Speaker 1: making twenty five dollars a show. It reminded me of
- 3:21Speaker 1: the cause I used to drive and the cause I
- 3:25Speaker 1: didn't have. It reminds me of not having a home
- 3:31Speaker 1: at a period in my life and what God has
- 3:34Speaker 1: allowed me to live in now. So don't be distraught
- 3:39Speaker 1: over your position now, and don't be ungrateful or unappreciative
- 3:45Speaker 1: for the things you have now because you don't know
- 3:47Speaker 1: what that's gonna grow into. And that's really the gist
- 3:49Speaker 1: of what he got that I got from what he
- 3:52Speaker 1: was saying. I just wanted to share that with you,
- 3:54Speaker 1: that where you are now it's so temporary, because now,
- 3:58Speaker 1: like I've said before, now as a fleeting moment. As
- 4:01Speaker 1: soon as you say now right after you fitis saying
- 4:05Speaker 1: now that moment that you claimed as now, that's gone.
- 4:10Speaker 1: So the where you are now is a very fleeting process.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Now you can change where you are now, and you
- 4:18Speaker 1: can change how you feel about where you're at now,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and you can change about where you're going by simply
- 4:25Speaker 1: changing your mind. It is no difference. I'm telling you, folks,
- 4:30Speaker 1: the thing that I've learned about successful people is not
- 4:34Speaker 1: so much what they do. It's not what they have,
- 4:38Speaker 1: is not how I see them functioning. The biggest thing
- 4:42Speaker 1: I've learned about successful people is how they think. That's
- 4:46Speaker 1: the thing that's different. It's how they think. And I'm
- 4:51Speaker 1: telling you that you can change the way you think
- 4:54Speaker 1: on any subject and start becoming successful towards that star
- 5:00Speaker 1: art now, and that you have to understand that. Man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: the biggest difference I've noticed between successful people and non
- 5:08Speaker 1: successful people is how they think. I was reading what
- 5:13Speaker 1: it is. God said that he was taught all wrong
- 5:16Speaker 1: about money. He said that his father was very negative
- 5:20Speaker 1: about money. He all throughout his life he heard his
- 5:23Speaker 1: father say, you know, people who got money have walked
- 5:27Speaker 1: on somebody to get it, or cheated somebody to get it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: People who have money, Money is the root of all evil.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Money is money is this, And people who gotten money,
- 5:37Speaker 1: you know, don't deserve it. They've done something wrong to
- 5:40Speaker 1: get it. YadA, y'all. So he said, he grew up
- 5:42Speaker 1: the whole time thinking that having money or something was
- 5:45Speaker 1: wrong with that. He discovered that it wasn't you know. Now, Look,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you can choose to be successful anywhere you want to.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I've chosen several ways to be successful. I want to
- 5:56Speaker 1: be a very, very successful father. I think that's one
- 6:00Speaker 1: of the things that's paramount in my life that I
- 6:02Speaker 1: really am working hard right now to become a successful father.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Not a successful father in terms of money, but a
- 6:12Speaker 1: successful father in terms of offering the amount of love
- 6:16Speaker 1: and guidance and leadership and the example that my children
- 6:20Speaker 1: need to look at. That's what I'm really really working
- 6:23Speaker 1: hard at now. I want to be successful as a father,
- 6:26Speaker 1: but also I want to be successful as a husband.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You know. I want Marjorie to always know that she
- 6:32Speaker 1: can count on me, to not have to wonder about me,
- 6:34Speaker 1: a look for me, you know. I want her to
- 6:37Speaker 1: feel secure in the fact that I really have gotten
- 6:42Speaker 1: it right that. I really am focused on being a
- 6:45Speaker 1: good husband to her because it means so much to
- 6:48Speaker 1: me having gone through everything I've gone through and having
- 6:51Speaker 1: God to have at this stage of my life given
- 6:54Speaker 1: me such a wonderful gift. I want do want to
- 6:57Speaker 1: show her how much I appreciate it, you know. So
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm working hard on a lot of levels. I'm working hard.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I'm trying very strong to be a successful motivator of people.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I want to be a sharer of information to people
- 7:11Speaker 1: that will uplift others and give others the same things
- 7:14Speaker 1: that I've learned through the trials and tribulations of my life.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But at the same time share that information and use
- 7:22Speaker 1: the power to this microphone to uplift people, you know,
- 7:25Speaker 1: not to destroy. My show is not about oo, guess
- 7:28Speaker 1: what's so and so said? Guess what's so and so did.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I don't like mean spirited things about people, you know.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I joke with people calling this that's another thing. But
- 7:36Speaker 1: I don't like destroying people with the power to microphone.
- 7:39Speaker 1: So I'm working very hard on being successful in a
- 7:42Speaker 1: lot of areas of my life now. Also, I do
- 7:44Speaker 1: care about being financially successful too, because my father the
- 7:49Speaker 1: one One of the gifts he gave me was very
- 7:51Speaker 1: simple gift. He told me a long time ago. He said, son,
- 7:55Speaker 1: the best thing you can do for poor people is
- 7:57Speaker 1: not be one of them. And that stuck with me.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And this was a hard working man who was a
- 8:04Speaker 1: coal miner, who worked construction his entire life. My father
- 8:08Speaker 1: didn't have an easy life man. My father didn't sit
- 8:11Speaker 1: behind a microphone. My father didn't come to work and
- 8:14Speaker 1: people cheered for him. My father wasn't famous. My father
- 8:18Speaker 1: was just a go get it dude. That he instilled
- 8:22Speaker 1: that in me and I've taken that and applied it
- 8:24Speaker 1: to my craft and I thank God for him for that.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But I do try to be financially successful so that
- 8:30Speaker 1: I can do some things with it to help some
- 8:32Speaker 1: other people. Now, am I opposed to having nice things? No?
- 8:36Speaker 1: Do I apologize for having nice things? No? And why
- 8:39Speaker 1: should I I work? I work? You know, I'm done.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I'm I'm not on the radio asking to give me money,
- 8:46Speaker 1: you know, so I can go buy a car. I'm working.
- 8:49Speaker 1: So I don't feel how you want to feel. And
- 8:52Speaker 1: other people do feel that way about it. But if
- 8:55Speaker 1: success in terms of finance, it's what you're lacking, you
- 8:58Speaker 1: can go about the business of doing that. I'm writing
- 9:01Speaker 1: a book, and that whole book is about teaching people
- 9:04Speaker 1: how to become successful. And Man, I'm breaking it down
- 9:08Speaker 1: in a way where everybody can get it, man, because
- 9:11Speaker 1: I want the college student to get it, you know,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I want I want the working mom to get it,
- 9:16Speaker 1: the single mom to get it. The hard working father
- 9:21Speaker 1: has been trying to hold his family together can get it.
- 9:24Speaker 1: The father that ain't ever got it together and feel
- 9:26Speaker 1: that because of that reason, he can't be the father
- 9:29Speaker 1: he needs to be. I'm writing something, man, to put
- 9:32Speaker 1: it into words, to let you know that God is
- 9:35Speaker 1: a forgiving God, and that God is a merciful God,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and that God can get you out of any situation
- 9:42Speaker 1: you find yourself in. You just can't beat yourself up
- 9:45Speaker 1: every time you make a mistake. I make mistakes all
- 9:48Speaker 1: the time. Man, I just got to remind myself to
- 9:50Speaker 1: get up. I ask God for forgiveness, I call on
- 9:54Speaker 1: his mercy and it's grace and I get up and
- 9:56Speaker 1: I go again. But it's coming, man. And if finance
- 9:59Speaker 1: sus sensus what you want, you got to change your mind.
- 10:02Speaker 1: You got to start thinking about how to produce it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You got, well, you gotta just this is not what
- 10:08Speaker 1: you do first. The first thing you do is you
- 10:10Speaker 1: gotta ask. You gotta ask ask to have a life
- 10:15Speaker 1: and have a life more abundantly. That's a scripture that
- 10:20Speaker 1: he comes to you to give you life and to
- 10:22Speaker 1: give you life more abundantly. That's a scripture. That ain't
- 10:26Speaker 1: a joke, that ain't a theory. That's a fact, and
- 10:30Speaker 1: the fact that if you don't have a life of abundance,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you can get that by asking. Now follow the rest
- 10:36Speaker 1: of it. But it starts by asking. Then it starts
- 10:39Speaker 1: by believing, and how to don't even worry about that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: He takes care of that himself. He'll send the stuff
- 10:45Speaker 1: your way. But you got to be willing to put
- 10:47Speaker 1: some effort in this thing now, and you can do it. Okay.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I know I was a little around the place today,
- 10:53Speaker 1: but that's what it was. So you know, let's go
- 10:55Speaker 1: get it all right. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Let
- 11:03Speaker 1: me have your undivided attention, please. Steve Harvey Martin Show
- 11:07Speaker 1: is in full effect. No that no doubt. Shirley straw Berry,
- 11:13Speaker 1: Steve har v Sanging, Steve Harvey was happening pimping a
- 11:27Speaker 1: junior Morning up Jay Brune, Baby, your nephew's off today? Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I mean you know, jam Donny. You know if he
- 11:48Speaker 1: can't get up because he worked last night, let's stop this.
- 11:52Speaker 1: He's not off. He's not off because he worked last night.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Where's he's from? Beach? Who is Arlington? Arlington? So now
- 11:59Speaker 1: he wore his little lass out, so now he can't
- 12:03Speaker 1: get him coming with hi other job and take this job, Tommy,
- 12:13Speaker 1: take it back now. See one of others that said that,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you I'll back you up because I
- 12:24Speaker 1: can't wait to get Tommy Tommy some news because Tommy loves,
- 12:29Speaker 1: when I tell you, loves, loves to get me bad.
- 12:32Speaker 1: What do you mean, nobody? Bring me no man, Tommy
- 12:37Speaker 1: can't wait to bring me bad. Bring me a doing
- 12:41Speaker 1: your You mean that he takes pleasure? Let me that
- 12:48Speaker 1: ain't it? Every time? Man? You see this about you?
- 12:58Speaker 1: And you know what when that happens, I don't. I
- 13:00Speaker 1: don't even like mentioning that kind of hate that stuff. Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: bring it to you, But um, there is something good
- 13:09Speaker 1: on the GRAM that we could talk about. Steve. That
- 13:12Speaker 1: was what that was posted him with acquired a group
- 13:16Speaker 1: of young ladies singing on your show that were singing,
- 13:18Speaker 1: that's the way of the world. Earth went and fire kids, Yes,
- 13:23Speaker 1: boredom girls came. The show was over and Shirley, you
- 13:27Speaker 1: know Fred Martin because you introduced me. Of course. Yes,
- 13:30Speaker 1: he was playing the piano. He says, Steve, we got
- 13:33Speaker 1: something special for you. I said what He played four
- 13:38Speaker 1: balls and I went, what do the girls started singing?
- 13:45Speaker 1: Huh boy, you grabbed that mic this for me? Jay?
- 13:55Speaker 1: Did you see it? You have to look it up
- 14:00Speaker 1: if you missed it on Steve Harvey, I am slaying
- 14:04Speaker 1: in there. And if you belong I know he was
- 14:07Speaker 1: singing from the heart, Junior. He wasn't hitting a key, Yes, Jay,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I really did, I don't think Steve. Yeah, yeah, he
- 14:22Speaker 1: didn't murder it like like you murder him. But no,
- 14:25Speaker 1: but he you did you think, Steve? I was impressed?
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah about Jay? I was singing from my soul. All right. Listen,
- 14:33Speaker 1: coming up at about thirty two after the hour, we're
- 14:35Speaker 1: gonna talk about a lawsuit, Steve. What will you hear
- 14:38Speaker 1: this over a South African preacher who did a fake resurrection?
- 14:45Speaker 1: What the fake resurrection wants real, well, talk about it
- 14:53Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show. Well.
- 14:59Speaker 1: A virals stunt by a South African preacher may lead
- 15:03Speaker 1: to several lawsuits. After the self declared prophet claimed to
- 15:06Speaker 1: have resurrected a man at his church in Johannesburg. A
- 15:11Speaker 1: group of funeral directors have said that they planned to
- 15:13Speaker 1: sue pastor Alf Lucow for a spectacle he put on
- 15:18Speaker 1: in which he appears to convinced churchgoers that he brought
- 15:22Speaker 1: a man back from the dead. In a now viral video.
- 15:26Speaker 1: This video has gone viral. He can be heard shouting
- 15:30Speaker 1: rise up to a man in a coffin. The man
- 15:34Speaker 1: then sits upright as on looker's cheer. The funeral directors,
- 15:40Speaker 1: as well as other concerned parties, say the pastor's stage
- 15:43Speaker 1: the resurrection to manipulate South Africans into donating to the church.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Did you see that video? First of all, let me
- 15:56Speaker 1: explain this part. Okay, come on, if you had a
- 16:00Speaker 1: black funeral and the body raised up right, the clear
- 16:07Speaker 1: out process is gonna produce several dead people right there.
- 16:14Speaker 1: There's gonna be so many people getting trembled. We don't
- 16:18Speaker 1: sit around if somebody raise up from the dead and
- 16:21Speaker 1: we go Jesus, what ye, We immediately blame it on
- 16:30Speaker 1: Vooding standing around looking no, no, don't do that. And
- 16:40Speaker 1: I watched the video. You've got to watch the video
- 16:42Speaker 1: because the dude that they raise up from the dead
- 16:46Speaker 1: is not the right expression when you've been dead. What
- 16:51Speaker 1: you mean look at his expression. In light of the controversy,
- 16:57Speaker 1: La Lewis Ministries was quoted by local news saying that
- 17:00Speaker 1: it didn't actually raise the man from the dead. Really,
- 17:04Speaker 1: we know that, and that he was already alive when
- 17:07Speaker 1: he arrived. Of course, right, he didn't know the first
- 17:15Speaker 1: he was laying in. His chest was up, mouth wide open,
- 17:22Speaker 1: his chest was going him down. And I watched him.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I saw him breathing bad. Actor, his eyes was bad. Yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 1: he's gonna have to think of other ways to get
- 17:31Speaker 1: the people. I can't hold my breath in hurry up,
- 17:38Speaker 1: do what you do, scratches pants leg still Come on, man,
- 17:46Speaker 1: you can't even possibly think, yeah, that's somebody, not dog,
- 17:51Speaker 1: it's not it's not you're you're not him. Jesus and
- 17:57Speaker 1: the one man that could ring somebody back from the dead,
- 18:03Speaker 1: he did it twice. Us he bought Lazarus and hisself
- 18:08Speaker 1: no other than that. I don't know who you are
- 18:12Speaker 1: in two thousand nineteen with a seed on't yeah and
- 18:17Speaker 1: a hairline. You ain't bring that back they needed. His
- 18:24Speaker 1: hairline was too far back in his head. If you're
- 18:26Speaker 1: gonna bring something back, that's a good one. That's a
- 18:35Speaker 1: good one. Right. In other news, we're gonna switch gears here.
- 18:40Speaker 1: This one's for you, Jay Uh. Senator Corey Booky of
- 18:43Speaker 1: New Jersey introduced a bill on Thursday to legalize marijuana nationwide. Yes,
- 18:50Speaker 1: this is as he mounted twenty residential campaign, You'n't done.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Co sponsors include fellow twenty twenty Democratic candidates UM Senator
- 19:04Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Kursen Gilibron. What the
- 19:09Speaker 1: bill comes as increasing numbers of states are legalizing marijuana
- 19:13Speaker 1: on the local level. In public opinion has shifted in
- 19:16Speaker 1: favor of legalization. Remember cannabis still illegal on the federal level.
- 19:22Speaker 1: It's so good. This is better than raising the minimum wage,
- 19:28Speaker 1: is it now? Yeah? I don't think people will agree
- 19:32Speaker 1: with everybody better than the minimum wage. Because I have
- 19:36Speaker 1: a business, and I can tell you right now, everybody
- 19:38Speaker 1: to work for you ain't worth fifteen just right, hear me?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Anybody everywhere. The bill would remove it from the federal
- 19:51Speaker 1: list of controlled substances, while also providing financial incentive incentives
- 19:56Speaker 1: to states to loosen their marijuana laws. Well, you're gonna
- 20:00Speaker 1: have to let a lot of people out of you. Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: And that's that's what they're thing. You should let a
- 20:06Speaker 1: lot of people out of ye, be honest, bunging federal
- 20:10Speaker 1: crimes and allowing offenders to petition courts for shorter sentences.
- 20:14Speaker 1: So it's actually you know that part especially, Yeah, Jay,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you're all forward. Huh. Man, I'm tired of squeeze and
- 20:22Speaker 1: joints from my boot just to get through the air.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm so sick at it for anybody working in cheeks
- 20:35Speaker 1: is tight just any listen always from from from Atlanta
- 20:44Speaker 1: un till I get to my room. Man, you make
- 20:49Speaker 1: it through security like that jam you if you tighten
- 20:52Speaker 1: up gets he's not throw with him. Finished time we
- 21:04Speaker 1: friends to the end. The Cory Booker of New Jersey.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm sure he'll get a few extra votes. Yeah, he's
- 21:12Speaker 1: able to get that bill passed through. And everybody else
- 21:17Speaker 1: is on board too. Elizabeth Warren Kamala Harris, there you go,
- 21:23Speaker 1: thank you. It's about time. That flight so white, sitting
- 21:34Speaker 1: up so straight. All right, all right, I'm good. How
- 21:42Speaker 1: any you get up the plane though? Do you get
- 21:46Speaker 1: any kind of relief? He's wrapped in cell aphane and
- 21:50Speaker 1: it's start. It's a whole okay, thank you. Coming up next,
- 21:55Speaker 1: the nephew is out today. When we have run that
- 21:57Speaker 1: prank back, Junior will be in for the nephew. I
- 22:02Speaker 1: guess when we come back right after this. I know
- 22:05Speaker 1: you do, Junior. You're listening Steve Show coming up at
- 22:09Speaker 1: the top of the hour and entertainment news. Kylie Jenner's
- 22:12Speaker 1: best friend Jordan Woods admits that she wasn't drunk during
- 22:15Speaker 1: her hook up with Chloe's baby daddy Tristan Thompson. And
- 22:19Speaker 1: we'll tell you about our Sand and Soul Festival extension.
- 22:23Speaker 1: It's only a little time left, so hurry, hurry, hurry.
- 22:26Speaker 1: But right now, Junior is in for the nephew with
- 22:28Speaker 1: run that frank bag. Huh calf control, huh run it. Hello. Hello,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Carlia. Please yeah speaking I call
- 22:42Speaker 1: It's Herschel James over in Human Resources. Hi, Hi, I'm good,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I'm good. How you doing today? Not bad? What is it? Okay,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry? What is this call about? Well, I got
- 22:54Speaker 1: a complaint that's been sent to us that we want
- 22:57Speaker 1: to try to address and see if we can handle
- 22:59Speaker 1: this in a in an orderly fashion. You've been over
- 23:02Speaker 1: in the client services department for what last three? Four years? Now?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Almost five years? Okay, Um, we're getting some complaints Carl
- 23:12Speaker 1: about you. I don't know if you're sick, but you're
- 23:17Speaker 1: You seem to be coughing quite a bit, and there's
- 23:20Speaker 1: people on that floor that are starting to complain about
- 23:24Speaker 1: it is. Do we need to like give you some
- 23:26Speaker 1: time off? Tell me what's going on with you? Oh? No,
- 23:29Speaker 1: no, no no, no, no, there must be a mistake. I
- 23:31Speaker 1: mean I had a cold for a couple of days.
- 23:35Speaker 1: That's sick. Yeah, I can't. I can't imagine. Have you
- 23:39Speaker 1: had a extension cost that's been going on longer than
- 23:42Speaker 1: a week or two? Have you been coughing a lot?
- 23:46Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't count when I how
- 23:48Speaker 1: many times I coughed? You know, I don't. I don't
- 23:53Speaker 1: really understand. Well, let me let me, let me, let
- 23:56Speaker 1: me tell you what we're gonna do because you know,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you've been with some long time and we understand that,
- 24:02Speaker 1: you know, the weather has been bananas, and you know,
- 24:05Speaker 1: we want to make sure that everybody's accommodated. Now, what
- 24:07Speaker 1: we've come up with, just to try to accommodate everybody.
- 24:11Speaker 1: We're gonna move you right now. I know you're on
- 24:14Speaker 1: the fourth floor, so we're gonna move you to the
- 24:17Speaker 1: seventh floor in the next in the next couple of
- 24:19Speaker 1: weeks where and you know there's that's kind of where um,
- 24:23Speaker 1: it's kind of like an area where there's more coughing
- 24:26Speaker 1: people up there. No no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 24:29Speaker 1: that won't be necessary. I'm I'm feeling much better. I've
- 24:33Speaker 1: been at the same spot the entire time I've been
- 24:36Speaker 1: with the company. I don't need to be moved to
- 24:38Speaker 1: the seventh floor. I don't need to be moved for
- 24:40Speaker 1: any health reasons. I'm doing fine, I'm good. You don't
- 24:44Speaker 1: have to worry about that. Hey, Hey, let's slow down
- 24:47Speaker 1: a minute, Carla. Um and I understand where you're coming from.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I know what you don't want to be moved because
- 24:53Speaker 1: you've been there and you're probably comfortable where you are.
- 24:55Speaker 1: But they're asking that you wear one of the uh
- 24:59Speaker 1: you know, surgical mask for two weeks until we get
- 25:02Speaker 1: you up to the to the next what you got you?
- 25:05Speaker 1: You guys can't just move me. How are you gonna
- 25:08Speaker 1: gonna just move me without asking me my side of
- 25:10Speaker 1: the story. Well, if you're coughing out of control, you
- 25:13Speaker 1: know you got well listen to me, you got you
- 25:16Speaker 1: know there's people and I complaining about me. Well, it
- 25:22Speaker 1: must be the people that are actually right around you.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I mean I'm hearing she's spreading germs. They think you
- 25:27Speaker 1: have the flu that some people are saying. It's disgusting.
- 25:30Speaker 1: You keep coughing and coughing the flu which it was not.
- 25:34Speaker 1: That doesn't last for months. Like I'm good, I'm all set.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I had a little cold, but not enough to be
- 25:40Speaker 1: more than me. Okay, well let me tell you what
- 25:43Speaker 1: it's doing. It's it's creating a real hostile environment, is
- 25:47Speaker 1: what it's doing. No one said anything said maybe a
- 25:52Speaker 1: god bless you once when I sneeze. I don't understand
- 25:54Speaker 1: why anyone would take this human resources? Are you said?
- 25:58Speaker 1: Does want me to wear a mask? You We're gonna
- 26:00Speaker 1: need as up tomorrow, Starting tomorrow, tomorrow. It'll be we'll
- 26:05Speaker 1: have that at your cubicle tomorrow. Okay, no, that's not
- 26:10Speaker 1: You guys can't just have me wearing a mask. It's
- 26:13Speaker 1: the night before. I've never seen it's a it's a
- 26:16Speaker 1: it's a it's a surgical man. You'll wear that for
- 26:19Speaker 1: two weeks until I until I can get you upstairs
- 26:21Speaker 1: to where that's the coughing floor. We'll have you up
- 26:24Speaker 1: there when people are coughing and nobody's gonna be complaining
- 26:26Speaker 1: about you. That doesn't sound very hygienic to me. You're
- 26:29Speaker 1: gonna put it's not. It's but it's not hygienic of
- 26:32Speaker 1: what's going on on your floor, your coffee, and the
- 26:35Speaker 1: people are complaining. Let me tell you something right now,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna appeal this decision. I'm not going to those
- 26:41Speaker 1: seventh floor. I'm not wearing a mask. I feel good.
- 26:43Speaker 1: If you guys want some health records, I can provide
- 26:46Speaker 1: that for you. But Shaul ain't gonna have me moving
- 26:48Speaker 1: an accent looking crazy just because somebody said I don't
- 26:51Speaker 1: like that I cough. We all cough in the winter. Okay, Carla,
- 26:54Speaker 1: let's let's let's let's let's slow down. Okay. I want
- 26:57Speaker 1: to try to help use. I want to help beat
- 26:59Speaker 1: the slow. But you're going to talking about moving me,
- 27:01Speaker 1: making me wear masks on in the in the morning.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Like that's not right, none of that. Okay, Carla. If
- 27:07Speaker 1: you can't put the mask on tomorrow, I'm gonna have
- 27:10Speaker 1: to ask you to not come in tomorrow. Now that
- 27:12Speaker 1: decision is up to you. No, that decision is not
- 27:15Speaker 1: up to me, because I want to appeal the decision
- 27:18Speaker 1: for you. Who else can I talk to because this,
- 27:20Speaker 1: this is this conversation is not this. We'll have this
- 27:23Speaker 1: meeting next week. I will let you know when it is,
- 27:26Speaker 1: but you can't come in until we have the meeting
- 27:28Speaker 1: at this point, all right? Oh so, am I gonna
- 27:31Speaker 1: get paid days off? You're not getting paid days off.
- 27:34Speaker 1: You can come out and I can't talk to me anymore.
- 27:36Speaker 1: You're not surgical mask, you're not thinking any sense. I
- 27:40Speaker 1: can't talk to you, all right? You canna piss me off?
- 27:43Speaker 1: This is not right. None of this sounds legal. Right now.

- 27:53Speaker 1: That is the way I'm going to allow you to
- 27:54Speaker 1: work tomorrow. No, I'm not wearing the mask. Stop talking
- 27:58Speaker 1: to me about a mask. I'm not sick. Well, I'll
- 28:00Speaker 1: do smarts. I'm gonna go talk with them lawyer and

- 29:02Speaker 1: Is that it's you? That doesn't make any sense because
- 29:05Speaker 1: there is no Tommy on my floor. I don't even
- 29:07Speaker 1: know it's Tommy. Do you know a nephew Tommy from

- 34:12Speaker 1: In other news, Kylie Jenner's best friend Jordan Woods, she's
- 34:17Speaker 1: been in the news. Yeah, she's been in the news
- 34:19Speaker 1: a lot lately. She says she knew exactly what she
- 34:22Speaker 1: was doing when she hooked up with Tristan Thompson, all right,
- 34:26Speaker 1: well yeah. Today, on Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk,
- 34:30Speaker 1: Jordan reportedly admitted that she wasn't drunk and she was
- 34:34Speaker 1: completely lucid when she kissed Tristan. All right, Jordan apologized
- 34:39Speaker 1: she didn't make any excuses for what she did. Earlier
- 34:42Speaker 1: this week, she reportedly told friends that she was blackout
- 34:45Speaker 1: drunk when she got you know, real cozy and you know,
- 34:49Speaker 1: all touchy mealy and stuff with Tristan. But that's not
- 34:51Speaker 1: the case, she says she was she knew exactly what
- 34:54Speaker 1: she was doing. The Kardashians, meanwhile, have a severed business
- 34:58Speaker 1: ties with Jordan, and her bff Kylie kicks her to
- 35:02Speaker 1: the curb as well. So when you say business ties,
- 35:05Speaker 1: what do you mean, Well, you know they were in
- 35:07Speaker 1: business together. She um, she dig up, she did make
- 35:12Speaker 1: make up, she did. Yeah, she did stuff with Kylie.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah with her Yeah. Biggest Kylie's line is yeah, Kylie
- 35:19Speaker 1: is a Billionaire's that girl is rocketing many sweetheart of her.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Chloe too, with Chloe's line, yes American. Yes, So she
- 35:29Speaker 1: didn't messed her money up, yes, friendship and money up. Yeah. Yeah,
- 35:34Speaker 1: But she's a young girl. She's just twenty one, you know. Yeah,
- 35:38Speaker 1: it's tough, man. Yeah, she's just twenty one, a man.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. They just make mistakes. That's it. Stee,
- 35:44Speaker 1: who hasn't at that age. Let me tell you. I'm
- 35:47Speaker 1: sixty two and steel making. Absolutely, that's how you learn,
- 35:51Speaker 1: that's how you grow. I think she's learned a valuable lesson. Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I appreciate the fact that she's owning up to it, right.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And you know, it's tough, man, when you have to
- 36:00Speaker 1: learn these lessons, and these lessons are more vicious man,
- 36:03Speaker 1: because of social media and you're and you're in the
- 36:05Speaker 1: public eye. You're asking, man, you're not even free to
- 36:08Speaker 1: make young people mistakes anymore and grow from it. You
- 36:12Speaker 1: got to get beat up, eight up and chewed up
- 36:14Speaker 1: and spit out for your mistakes. It's really great. It's
- 36:17Speaker 1: bad the way to do yo. Yeah, she says she
- 36:19Speaker 1: feels better about her future now, I guess. And she
- 36:22Speaker 1: let it all out, and you know, we wish her
- 36:26Speaker 1: the best. You know, Sorry that happened, and I hope
- 36:29Speaker 1: they can mend it and make it better. I do.
- 36:32Speaker 1: We'll coming up in twenty minutes after the hour North
- 36:34Speaker 1: Korea talks end uh, with no deal? What no deal?
- 36:42Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to show
- 36:48Speaker 1: well in case you missed it, guys, talks between President
- 36:50Speaker 1: Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong wrapped up earlier
- 36:54Speaker 1: than expect it and there's no deal in place. Yeah,
- 36:58Speaker 1: time to come on home. Deal with this Cohen stuff. Ye,
- 37:02Speaker 1: get on back. I know you tried to time. I
- 37:05Speaker 1: thought you're gonna come back with a d nuclearization deal.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I wish you had him, but it got come on back. Yeah,
- 37:13Speaker 1: Fitner's playing. Yeah, Kim Jong un one of some of
- 37:16Speaker 1: the sanctions and all that lifted, but it didn't happen.
- 37:20Speaker 1: He insisted that those economic sanctions be lifted before North
- 37:23Speaker 1: Korea would commit to reducing it to nuclear art. Oh no,
- 37:26Speaker 1: no, no no, partner that ain't had a game one. You
- 37:31Speaker 1: reduce it, you know, but then it's not a country
- 37:36Speaker 1: that can survive and thrive. They can't thrive without importing.
- 37:41Speaker 1: They're a country that has to have stuff important. Well,
- 37:45Speaker 1: no deal, okay, now you know, because it's foreign policy.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Because we don't know anything, we can't vote, we're not
- 37:55Speaker 1: privy to any of that information, so we don't know.
- 37:57Speaker 1: But you know, he went over there to try to
- 37:59Speaker 1: strike a d while Cohen was on the stauspect. Yeah, well,
- 38:03Speaker 1: I mean he knew that. Yeah, you know, that's why
- 38:07Speaker 1: he went over there and did it at that time
- 38:09Speaker 1: because Cohen was gonna be talking, and if he could
- 38:11Speaker 1: have struck a deep eclusation deal, it would have overshadowed
- 38:15Speaker 1: the bad press about you know, Steve, he held that
- 38:18Speaker 1: press coverence in the wee hours of the morning and
- 38:21Speaker 1: because you know the time difference, and Um, one of
- 38:24Speaker 1: the questions the reporter asked him over there was, um,
- 38:28Speaker 1: did he see the cohen Um testimony and everything? And
- 38:31Speaker 1: he said, yeah, all lies lies, lies, except when he
- 38:36Speaker 1: said there was no collusion with Russia. But everything else
- 38:39Speaker 1: was a lie. Everything was a lie. But that one thing.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Come on, man, if you look at the turnover in
- 38:50Speaker 1: the White House since he's become president, it's astronomical. Nobody
- 38:56Speaker 1: has turnover like that. And the turnover ain't just losing
- 38:59Speaker 1: job you're talking about, we took. We gotta get some
- 39:01Speaker 1: people in here because everybody else is going to jail. Yeah,
- 39:05Speaker 1: the name turn off dog, This is turnover, This is
- 39:08Speaker 1: turned yourself in. Yeah, this ain't turned over, This is
- 39:15Speaker 1: turned yourself. It's more deals getting cut with the court,
- 39:20Speaker 1: then they cutting for men. Yeah, we said we're gonna
- 39:23Speaker 1: cut deals. We're gonna cut so many deals. It's gonna
- 39:26Speaker 1: be so huge, it's gonna be tremendous. We didn't know
- 39:29Speaker 1: what you're talking about. The plea deal. Build in front
- 39:33Speaker 1: of the White House so they can't come in and
- 39:35Speaker 1: get the ass everything. Trying to protect the president. What
- 39:42Speaker 1: you say, Jake, build the wall. We need to build
- 39:43Speaker 1: the wall around the White House so the up I
- 39:45Speaker 1: want him and that's the wall. All right? Yeah, coming
- 39:54Speaker 1: up in thirty four after the hour, guys, we'll talk
- 39:56Speaker 1: about media. Media is retiring. By the way, you can
- 40:00Speaker 1: check out Media's Family Funeral. It's in theaters right now.
- 40:03Speaker 1: You're listening. Show ain't in life is too short? This
- 40:08Speaker 1: funeral that I've been playing for you, girl, Media has
- 40:10Speaker 1: me realizing that each and every day is important. So
- 40:13Speaker 1: don't you forget it? Okay, a little advice for the
- 40:15Speaker 1: Watson part in life is your last day on this earth.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Check out my new movie I'm a Dear Family Fuelteral.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It's not playing. I love it. I love it. I
- 40:28Speaker 1: can't I'm gonna go today right after work. Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:31Speaker 1: it's in theaters right now. You make sure you check
- 40:34Speaker 1: it out. Media's Family Future. She brings them out to
- 40:39Speaker 1: the plays in the movie. Man. Yeah, no, man, that
- 40:42Speaker 1: dude right there. Seriously, Man, when history's told, Tyler Perry
- 40:46Speaker 1: will go to others. One of the great entertainers. Man,
- 40:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean no one has done plays and movies. Nope,
- 40:54Speaker 1: that I the world. Man, plays and movies I've never seen,
- 40:58Speaker 1: not in my lifetime. I don't call well anyway, not
- 41:02Speaker 1: at that level. It's a lot of people that do
- 41:03Speaker 1: plays and movies, but not the way this too has
- 41:07Speaker 1: done it. And this movie looks so hilarious, it looks
- 41:11Speaker 1: so funny. But you're doing all these characters too, Tyler. Yeah, Well,
- 41:16Speaker 1: what do you love about Mdea's movies, mcdia, She always
- 41:20Speaker 1: had a positive message, especially for women in the movie.
- 41:23Speaker 1: You know, she always talks to women characters and about
- 41:27Speaker 1: powering empowering them and self esteem and self confidence and
- 41:31Speaker 1: don't settle and don't take mess from men. That's what
- 41:34Speaker 1: I loved about madea You left from those movies in
- 41:38Speaker 1: the place feeling inspired. Yeah, but that's what the character
- 41:42Speaker 1: speaks about, and that's smart. Of Tyler to do that too, right, right,
- 41:46Speaker 1: and quite frankly, I'm gonna miss Medeia I really yeah.
- 41:49Speaker 1: She brought a lot of joy. Yeah she's retiring. Mdia dies,

- 42:20Speaker 1: has re invented the way business has has been done.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I mean, he struck some deals man, that's like unheard of.
- 42:31Speaker 1: They've got to think an awful lot of your talent,
- 42:35Speaker 1: and you've got to have a track record. He has
- 42:38Speaker 1: not made a movie that didn't make money. He ain't
- 42:40Speaker 1: had a play that didn't make money, or television show doc.
- 42:44Speaker 1: He ain't nothing, none of his Instead of taking a
- 42:49Speaker 1: whole week to shoot him, Tyler was shooting three a week.
- 42:52Speaker 1: That was unheard of, and they said it couldn't be
- 42:56Speaker 1: done done, and he was doing it because he gave
- 43:00Speaker 1: the people leeway. He hired people who understood the character.
- 43:05Speaker 1: He gave him leeway and gave him away to improv.
- 43:08Speaker 1: And that damn mister Brown didn't disappoint. Oh my god, David, Man,
- 43:14Speaker 1: that food came in that just an ignorant easy, was Cassie, David? Yes,
- 43:19Speaker 1: characters yeah Man, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Joe. Yeah. And

- 43:36Speaker 1: long Jerry Yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah that's who look
- 43:39Speaker 1: like somebody we all know the way he was dancing
- 43:44Speaker 1: in that chair man. Oh it was good. Okay, well listen.

- 48:09Speaker 1: kids out. I can't understand. I would be upset to.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I have children too, so I can understand what you're
- 48:14Speaker 1: trying to say. But said, what I'm trying to tell
- 48:16Speaker 1: you is this is not my company you're talking about.
- 48:19Speaker 1: We wouldn't have done anything like that. I've been in
- 48:21Speaker 1: business with thirteen years. What is your name? My name
- 48:24Speaker 1: is Barbara. Okay, so you're the one behind all of

- 51:37Speaker 1: the thief in the night on her, missus. Bar. I
- 51:44Speaker 1: gotta ask you one more thing. What is what is
- 51:47Speaker 1: the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 51:50Speaker 1: the land, Steve hards and Morning Show. How'd you think
- 52:00Speaker 1: what C C C shirt? I was sitting there thinking
- 52:04Speaker 1: bout some cake. What kind of the cake it was?
- 52:06Speaker 1: It was? It was probably like like like a pineapple
- 52:09Speaker 1: upside yeah, yeah, just learn. But then I was looking
- 52:13Speaker 1: at a lady and then I said, I damn, I'm
- 52:17Speaker 1: gonna have to do a break called cake. Lady. There
- 52:20Speaker 1: it is. Top grads up. Didn't come on, I don't

- 52:35Speaker 1: I was lost in the deepness of it all. Yeah,
- 52:38Speaker 1: I just thinking about it upside down cake. But looking
- 52:41Speaker 1: at this lady, I said, I hate the cake. Boy.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I brought that home right there, boy, I brought by
- 52:55Speaker 1: team Timmy right on, boy, you right on like German chocolate. Yeah,
- 52:59Speaker 1: but this ain't buy st ok. How to heal? I
- 53:09Speaker 1: can't leave my fantec the right old time? All right?
- 53:17Speaker 1: Thank you? Oh I know I'm a lemon pound cake,
- 53:20Speaker 1: right all right? Thank you? Junior in for Tommy. Up next,
- 53:23Speaker 1: it is today's Strawberry Letters. Subject It's not my business,

- 53:42Speaker 1: and more. Please please please submit your Strawberry Letter to
- 53:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey f M and click Submit Strawberry Letter. We
- 53:51Speaker 1: could be reading your letter live on the air, just
- 53:53Speaker 1: like we're gonna read this one and oh lord, this
- 53:56Speaker 1: one is crazy. Well, let's get to it. It's time
- 53:59Speaker 1: for the Strawbaby with my friend Shirley Straw. Thank you, Junior.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Tell me is out today. A subject is not my business,
- 54:09Speaker 1: but I want to tell it. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:13Speaker 1: writing this letter as a concerned third party. I have
- 54:17Speaker 1: two friends that have been married for over fifteen years,
- 54:21Speaker 1: and I thought they had a perfect marriage until recently.
- 54:25Speaker 1: The husband is a wonderful, handsome man that cleaned up
- 54:28Speaker 1: his image and left the street life behind to marry
- 54:32Speaker 1: my friend and help raise her five children by a
- 54:35Speaker 1: few different men. He worked multiple jobs to keep his
- 54:39Speaker 1: family stable, and I really admire him for that. So
- 54:43Speaker 1: I was devastated when his wife told me that she
- 54:46Speaker 1: was unhappy in the marriage and had been having an affair.
- 54:49Speaker 1: I noticed she was not wearing her ring anymore, but
- 54:52Speaker 1: I didn't think anything of it. She told me that
- 54:55Speaker 1: she's frustrated because sex with her husband is boring now
- 54:59Speaker 1: and doesn't satisfy her like he used to. She told
- 55:03Speaker 1: me that for the past three months she's been having
- 55:06Speaker 1: sex with one of her co workers and that it
- 55:08Speaker 1: is the best sex she has had in a long time.
- 55:13Speaker 1: She said, her coworker knows she's married, and he is
- 55:15Speaker 1: willing to see her on her terms and have sex
- 55:19Speaker 1: wherever she wants to. But here's where it gets really bad.
- 55:24Speaker 1: My friend just confided in me that her lover has
- 55:27Speaker 1: given her an STI. That is a sexually transmitted infection,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and she may have passed it to her husband when
- 55:37Speaker 1: she got drunk and ended up having sex with him recently.
- 55:40Speaker 1: She said she's not going to tell her husband, but
- 55:44Speaker 1: wait to see if he says something about it to
- 55:46Speaker 1: her first. I think he needs to know and deserves better.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I love both of them, so I am ready to
- 55:53Speaker 1: tell him what's going on before his wife gives him
- 55:57Speaker 1: a more serious disease. Is not my business, but what
- 56:01Speaker 1: she's doing is risky. What should I do? Please advise,
- 56:06Speaker 1: dear concerned third party. I know, I know you're you're
- 56:11Speaker 1: very concerned. They're both your friends, you love them both.
- 56:15Speaker 1: This guy married your friend, his wife is your friend.
- 56:19Speaker 1: But listen, you have to stay out of their marriage.
- 56:22Speaker 1: You absolutely have to. This is too much, and like
- 56:25Speaker 1: you said it best in the letter, it is none
- 56:28Speaker 1: of your business. This guy seems to be a good guy.
- 56:32Speaker 1: You said, he cleaned up his image, left the street
- 56:34Speaker 1: life behind. He helped her raise her Your friend helped
- 56:38Speaker 1: her raise her five kids by a few different men.
- 56:42Speaker 1: He's worked several jobs, so it sounds like he's a
- 56:44Speaker 1: good man. She, on the other hand, it sounds like
- 56:47Speaker 1: she's just out here wild and she's not wearing a
- 56:51Speaker 1: ring anymore. She told you she's frustrated because sex with
- 56:55Speaker 1: her husband is boring, so she picked up with a
- 56:58Speaker 1: coworker and it's a best sex she's had in a
- 57:01Speaker 1: long time. So obviously they're not using protection because she
- 57:04Speaker 1: does have a sexually transmitted infection. Thank god she didn't
- 57:08Speaker 1: get pregnant again by him. She has passed this STI
- 57:13Speaker 1: onto her husband when she got drunk. Man, she's doing
- 57:18Speaker 1: way too much, way too much in this letter, and
- 57:22Speaker 1: she's not gonna tell her husband. She's gonna wait to
- 57:24Speaker 1: see if he says anything first. What is going on here?
- 57:30Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you think he needs to know. Of
- 57:33Speaker 1: course he needs to know. Of course he deserves better.
- 57:36Speaker 1: But you can't. You can't do anything about this. Yeah,
- 57:39Speaker 1: she may pass on a more serious disease, but you're right,
- 57:43Speaker 1: it is none of your business. And you have to
- 57:45Speaker 1: sit by and say nothing because this is their marriage
- 57:50Speaker 1: and it is none of your business. What should you do?
- 57:52Speaker 1: Stay out of it at all costs, you know. If anything,
- 57:56Speaker 1: you can try and help your girlfriend, you know, see
- 57:59Speaker 1: the era of her ways, and maybe she'll stop having
- 58:02Speaker 1: an affair or something. But you can't say a thing, really, Steve,
- 58:07Speaker 1: all right, So I've just learned that the difference between
- 58:10Speaker 1: std and STI is the new term is STI for
- 58:15Speaker 1: sexually transmitted infection because they don't want to confuse with
- 58:19Speaker 1: sexually transmitted diseases. Because an infection can be treatable. A
- 58:24Speaker 1: disease may not. I guess that's my understanding of it.
- 58:27Speaker 1: And a disease can be life threatening. An infection, right, okay,
- 58:32Speaker 1: this is not actually carrying tudor if you don't treat it. Yeah, yeah,
- 58:36Speaker 1: either way, either way, she didn't bought something home. This
- 58:40Speaker 1: raggedy woman right here, she's pretty trifling. Man. Um, you
- 58:47Speaker 1: know this guy took his treat life. He'd marriage. This
- 58:49Speaker 1: woman raised her five kids by a few different men.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I always command men who do that. He worked multiple
- 58:57Speaker 1: jobs keep the family stable, and I admire him for that.
- 59:00Speaker 1: So she got devastated when her friend came in and
- 59:03Speaker 1: told her that she was having a fair with somebody
- 59:07Speaker 1: because they sex with her husband is boring and now
- 59:10Speaker 1: he don't satisfy like it yours too. You know, let
- 59:13Speaker 1: me address this right here, because there's always some woman
- 59:16Speaker 1: talking about some man don't satisfy like she used to,
- 59:20Speaker 1: like he used to. I mean in these letters from
- 59:23Speaker 1: the most time that most of these letters, it's a
- 59:26Speaker 1: man that don't satisfy woman no more. That's what I
- 59:30Speaker 1: found when we had these sexually dissatisfied letters. Why are
- 59:35Speaker 1: you trying to stop me now? We ain't going to
- 59:37Speaker 1: get on the job. I'm fing to straighten you. I'm
- 59:39Speaker 1: going to tell the truth here, all right, because the
- 59:43Speaker 1: letter ain't worth addressing. We'll deal with that in a minute.
- 59:45Speaker 1: But can't tell y'allself. Yes, maybe this lack of pleasing
- 59:54Speaker 1: you any more, it's because you ain't the only one
- 59:58Speaker 1: that's boy m hm, you ain't been doing nothing. You
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: stopped doing monkey flips after we had the kids. Now
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you want me in here to still be tars and
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Cheetah been left to build. Excuse me, Cheetah been left
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to build, But you want me to be tars and
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I got to come in here swinging off vines and stuff.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I just wanted to throw that out there. Okay, Now

- 1:01:03Speaker 1: but I want to tell it. We'll be back right
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on, let's
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. It's not my business, but I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: want to tell it. The subject says at all, just
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: like Shirley said, it ain't your damn business, but you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: want to tell it because you offer these people married
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: and now you know both of them your friends would
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: dude used to be in the streets, got itself together,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: cleaned up a street life, married this woman who had
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: five kids by several different men, taking care of them
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: got a separate job. Then I thought they had a
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: perfect marriage. Then one day she confided in you that
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: she ain't having sex like she wanted, so she didn't
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: start sleeping with the dude down at the job. And
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: it's the best sex she didn't had in a long time.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: And now you feel bad because she cheating on the dude.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Then she come and tell you she didn't got a
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: sexually transmitted infection and she may have given it to
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: her huss because she got drunk one night half sex
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: with him. She said she he's not gonna tell here
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: to get crazy. I'm not gonna tell my husband, but
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: wait to see if he says something about it. What
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I can ask you what you gave him? You can
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: ask what you gave him that he fitting to find
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: out he ain't had to ask. Wow, nah, I let
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: me tell you. So if you've given him something devastated
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: that there is no cure for, then what do you
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: mean you're gonna wait till he mentioned it? Because now
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: you change the parameters of this man's life, because not
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: only is he gonna get rid of you after he
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: found out you didn't gave him the sexually transmitted disease
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: or whatever y'all want to call it. Now, you didn't
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: gave him VD. Let's just get real done. You didn't
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: gave him man VD. Now when he leaves you, he
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: got to car his VD with him. Steve, not real.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: That's an old term. Yeah, that's old, dude. You need
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: to know that because STI through me. STI sound like
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: a government organization like the FBI. Yeah, STD, you know
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: exactly what the hell that is? State tax investigation. Yeah,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I don't give a d They didn't know, they don't
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: know when they don't. Times are changing. It never changed
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: from my daddy yet, damn VD. Now the STD nos STI,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Why don't get the memo? But now you didn't mess
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: this man? Um, So you're gonna wait till he say
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: something about it. But when he find out you gave
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: it to him, he gonna leave your raggedy behind. But
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: now he may have to deal with this the rest
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: of his life depending on what you gave him. Just crazy,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Yeah it is. And I understand the friend's dilemma. I do,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: but she can't say anything. But I get it. I mean, man,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: but what you you're gonna tell him? Now, here's a
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: problem with telling him. Suppose you tell him and the
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and the infection didn't transfer. Uh you know, I mean
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: it could happen. Suppose you tell him and it didn't transfer. Now,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: what you're gonna do? He was flying so now and
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you still and you still, you still down the job
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: doing what you want to do. Ain't Nowhere in this
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: letter she talk about breaking up with the man. She
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: really got five kids by a few disreliegs on so
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: she's just out there while she'll get pregnant. She could
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: get pregnant. Man, Now he really ain't gonna want you. Then,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I'm telling you the side dude don't want you anything. Man, No,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the side dude don't want you when you get pregnant.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: See if he'd been cheating with you, and then you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: get pregnant and you're married and you got five kids
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: by several differently, when you get pregnant again, he gonna
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: just say it ain't his. Yeah, that's the first thing
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: he's gonna say. You man, you ain't you cut out
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: to yours and that ain't my baby. And then she'll
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: lie and you ain't you ain't pregnant by me. All
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I did was give your STI Yeah, and she'll lie
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: and tell her husband that the baby is right. Then
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: the baby come out, don't look nothing like him? Yeah,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: this is craziness right here. Ain't baby? Why the baby? So?
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Why the baby so light? I mean both of us? Dog?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: What's what's that? You know? He reached back? He reached back.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: People do every every baby, all your people, dog, all
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: my people. Dog? Remember my granddaddy. I'm my mother's side.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: He was dog too. Dog. Well, no slave owners on
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: either side? What was hadding it? This is crazy? This
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: really is too. Yeah, no, man, that's that's like she tried,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: but you got, like Shirley said, the best. You have
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to stay out of it. You have it's it because
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you don't know. If you tell the man he got
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: a disease and come to find out he don't, then
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: they can't even repair his little raggedy man. And tell
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: your friend to stop telling you her business. She don't
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: want to know anybody. No, she needs no, no, she
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: need help. Somebody need to talk to her, because you're
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: gonna mess for ruining these kids live. They got a
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: daddy family, somebody stuck around and nice guy working all
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: the yeah, keeping the family stable. She wants that sex, though,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: she doesn't. She got a be popping for her. He
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: worked in two three jibs shure, Yeah, I know. All right, guys,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: you can email us or instagram us your thoughts on today.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Strawberry Lettuce is so ignorant. Steve Harvey f M now
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: coming up in ten minutes. North Carolina Republican Mark Meadows, Well,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: he says he's not a racist, and then Virginia governor's wife,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: that's he may as well have done it like that.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: And then the governor of Virginia, his wife is being
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: criticized for her racially and sensitive act. We'll talk about
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: that when we come right back. The governor of Virginia. Yeah, yeah, yes,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: not his wife in black face. The worst history months
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: was March. Now we're stale going. We got to redeem ourselves.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show. What we're Publican Mark
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Meadows is still facing backlash over his exchange with Democratic
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Congresswoman Rashida Talied. So Michael Cohen opened his public hearing
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: testimony alleging that President Trump is a con man and
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: a racist, among other things, and at one point in
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that morning session, Republican Mark Meadows of North Carolina presented
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: a Trump administration employee named Lynn Patton as evidence to
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the contrary, saying that he Trump wasn't a racist. Miss
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Patten is an African American woman who was Trump. She
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: was a Trump family party planner, and she now works
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: in the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She did
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: not speak, but apparently she does support President Trump. Democratic
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Congresswoman Rashida Talib and Republican Congressman Mark Meadows clashed over
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: her characterization of his introduction, take a listen. The fact
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: that someone would actually use a prompt a black woman
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: in this chamber, in this committee is alone racist in itself.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Donald Trump is setting chairman. I am the President. I
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: reclaim my time to chairman setting a president. Mister chairman's
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: office can be a mister chairman the rules. Wow wow
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: wow wow. So after that exchange, Representative Meadows kept insisting
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: that he is not a racist. But now videos have
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: surfaced of him way back in two thousand and twelve saying, uh,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: to send President Obama back to Kenya. Take a listen
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to this. Two thousand and twelve is the time that
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: we're gonna send mister Obama home, dick Kenya or wherever
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: it is we're gonna do it. Okay, so you're not
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: a RACI Yeah, what is going on here? Because if
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you didn't do it, he doesn't say you want with
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: the black face? No, no, no, no no no. Yeah. Okay,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: this is North Carolina. This is from the Cohen public testimony. Yeah,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: you know, black woman to the Senate. Yeah, I'm not surprised.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I'm not surprised anymore. Yeah, but we have to stay
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: surprised though, we because we do. We can't just make
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: this seem normal, you know, be desensitized to it all.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: We can't because it's exhausted. Yeah, because it's craziness, you know, yeah,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: it really is. You know what, as long as the
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: black people on the face and the white people they
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: don't always have that attitude towards us is never m Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: it's never. Well. In related news, the wife of embattled
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is facing her own round of criticism.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: This is what you were asking about earlier, Junior. This
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: is the wife of that governor you were asking about. Um. Well, anyway,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: she she did a lot of She did what many
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: think is um was racially insensitive. Pat Northam is her name.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: She was leading a group of a great students on
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: a tour of a governor's mansion, and she reportedly handed
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: out cotton to some of the students. The African American
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: students yes, and asked, can you imagine being an enslaved
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: person and having to pick this all day? The mother
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: of one of the students says her daughter was upset
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: and deeply offended and doesn't understand why Northam singled out
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: the students and asked such an insensitive question. Northam's office
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: disputes the claim that she singled out black students and
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: says she likes to include the stories of slavery and
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: tours of the mansion and often hands out different artifacts
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: to illustrate that period in Virginia's history. There have been
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: calls for her husband, Ralph Northam, of course, to resign,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: after his old medical school yearbook picture surfaced showing him
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: in black face. Yeah, this is exhausting at Yeah, it's
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: a shame when the baby got most sensed in the adult.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: What are you guysing? I'm cotton for? Why is you
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: in her pass? Not cotton? Lady? What you try? All
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the black kids get the CUTA look, man, Jesus it's
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: it's so much, man, it's so much. You don't it's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: just a lot. Man. Let mean some days, man, you know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: be honest with you, um, just to be really honest
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, it's so much that you get tired
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: because you know, it's like I said the other time,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you know, it's not enough that as an African American
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: man or woman or any other minority, that you have
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: to wake up and deal with just what life had you,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: as does everyone else. But then you add the race
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: element to it, and it's another component that you have
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: to contend with on top of what happens to just
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: us in life. Grieving, loss of job, you know, firing,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: plant clothes and shut downs, things like that. You know,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: your kids disappoint You're trying to help them, you want to.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: You're trying to save your money, man, you're trying to
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: pay your building. That's like survibe, just trying to everybody.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I'm on top of all of that, all of that.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: You know, we got to hear about this, and it's
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: just man, it's just you'll be going some days like
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: damn dog, look man, yeah, come on man, why are
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: we still addressing this? Why I still got to hear
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you make your little racial remarks and do stuff to kids,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: and I'm tired trying to figure who the boy cot
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: you know, you know I'm bought to these damn clothes. Okay,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I'm sitting to be going what is this? Oh? Yeah, yeah, man,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I had on some designer the other day. Man, I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: won't even be thinking about that stuff because I'm not
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: that caught up in it. But I just I like
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: what I like and I buy I put it on. Man,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I was going downstairs that round, go back and staying,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I ain't gonna say what the hell I had on.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I had to go back on stack with all hell
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: I forgot because damn dog. Yeah yeah, you know I
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: get Now. You got to go to your closet, yes,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: and figure out you don't spend this money on this stuff, right.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: You got to go out. No, it's not cheap, yeah no,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: And then you shouldn't have to have to do that.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: And you go to your job and work hard so
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: you can get some luxury things like this. Man, they
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: cost a little bit more. That's nice, and then you
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: get it. You can't wear it, And now you're sitting
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: up in here now you can't say this. You cut
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: this TV on. Somebody said that they got some kids
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: picking cot and they got some more kids beating some
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: drum saying slave cuts. You said, ben, damn dog. Then
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you look up and the governor he's sitting up there,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: his ass in black face. Yeah, it's too much. It's
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: too much. All right then a so other dude, We're
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: gonna see it. Obama back to Kenya where every from
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: all right, listen, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Lady Gaga. We'll talk about her, all right, She's been
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: in the news lately a lot. We'll talk about that
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: right after this. Everything to do with black people you're
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: listening to. While the rumors about Lady Gaga and Bradley
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Cooper's chemistry have not stopped, the latest is a rumor
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: that Bradley Cooper wanted Lady Gaga to fall for him
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: for real, to make their on screen romance from the
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: movie A Star Is Born be even more authentic, like, yeah, well,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I didn't know that it looked really really All the
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: way up to the Oscars Sunday night, Lady Gaga responded
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to all the romance rumors during her appearance on Jimmy
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Kimmel Live. She gave a big old eye roll, reminding
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: everyone that she and Bradley Cooper are actors, and also
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: through some major shaded social media for spreading the rumors.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Take a listen to Gaga. Social media quite frankly, is
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: the toilet of the internet. And one has done to
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: pop culture is just like abysmal and and and yes,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: people saw love and guess what, That's what we wanted
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you to see, you know, I mean this is this

- 1:16:42Speaker 1: can't and he shut the room down. Yet you're saying
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: you can't something to it. None of us in't here.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: You can't kiss that hard. Two people can't kiss that
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: hall and not feeling that long. Well, Tommy is an actor.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: You think Tommy can do it time and you gonna
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: see Tommy close and mush his lips out towards, shoulder
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: him up and jam they down. Here, Junior, you don't
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: think Tommy will ever get a dramatic romantic role dramatic.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Have you seen the movie filth? He was a karate
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: a correct? What do turning like? He knew karate You
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: look at it. I ain't seen black folk in the
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: hood fighting around a broken down what you say? Team
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Tommy breaking laughing team to living and something else? But
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I'm laughing. It was just loyal. You're the co team
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: laughing at what Steve said? Who's gonna been down here
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: to kids? Give me somebody? Wow? So you're saying that
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: it's not you gotta feel something with all that I
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: know who? It's just that way man? Or are you
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: kidding me? Yeah? You don't that with an attractive girl.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: You don't that with an attractive guy. Now he pulling
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: you in and he got a tongue, and what you're
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: puss to be? I'm gonna give you my tongue back
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: where we are? Wow, Get somebody in the movie. And
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I'm trying I feel something I did? Were you dreaming
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: like a movie? Get somebody in the movie. I need
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: to wake up because I'm dreaming I'm in a movie.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I know my old ads ain't getting in love. If

- 1:19:09Speaker 1: about the Momo Challenge? This is crazy, Steve, Have you
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: heard about this? Okay? It's a YouTube thing where these creepy,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: scary looking creature looking things pop up in videos and
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: instructs kids to kill themselves and to keep it secret
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: from their parents. Um. Yeah. They instruct the kids to
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: go in the kitchen and turn the stove on, and
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you know, it's called the Momo Challenge, and it's a
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: scary looking Um it's a big yeah type with bugs type,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: zombie type, biggie bigger eyes. Yeah, goes from ear to ear.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Don't look, it looks really weird. Watched us. They're gonna
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: use this and make a movie out of it. Watch
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: a big this is about. Oh, it's scary looking, it's scary,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: and then they'll make a movie on and people to
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: go see it. Yeah. And if it scares me and
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: us as an adult, you know, it's frightening to kids. Yeah,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: so um yeah. Anyway, it instructs the kids to kill
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: themselves and keep it a secret from their parents, Steve. So,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, this is just you know, the devil
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: is busy, man, man's busy, and you know all levels. Yeah,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: and that's why it says that our battle is not
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: against flesh and blood, but against the prince of Palace
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: and its parents. And I'm telling you, man, you've really
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: got to watch your children, right. You got to get
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: on a point as parents, man, because they are after
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: our children. Any kind of way they can get our children,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: they after us. But you got to get on a
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: point because your kids are so impressionable, man. Yeah. And
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: this cyber bullying is big, and this pops up, man.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Get them to go in here and do all this
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: crazy kind of stuff like you man, like just some
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: damn Pokemon challenge or something like that. Yeah, it's crazy
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: going in. Don't let your mamma and them know what? Yeah,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: and kill you. Yeah. Yeah, what are you kidding me? Horrible?
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: You're You're so right, Steve. Parents have to monitor what
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: their kids. Let's see what all of these they do.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Hack experts, we got why we can't hack this, find
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: out where it's coming. Yeah. Yeah. Now, Kim Kardashian wants
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: YouTube to remove them she's posted a plea, but they
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: claim they've seen no evidence that the Momo clips actually exist.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: She added reposted messages from concerned parents who've also heard
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: about the challenge. YouTube says that while it hasn't received
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: any evidence of the Momo challenge, it would be removed
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: immediately because it violates their policies. How can you listen
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: to me? Kim Kardashian knaves on social media. Yeah, if
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: she has sent you a letter, yeah, I'm telling you
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: just wanted them biggest stars in social media, man, Yeah,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: she is major in that. If she comes to you
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and tells you this, y'all got to get this down. Man.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: She's also a mother. I was just has kids. Look, man,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: this is a protective, protective measure. We've seen no signs.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Well your ass saint? Look yeah, yes, and there you
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: know it's the videos start off fine and then like
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: in the middle, they might pop up you know something, Well,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: how do you know this shirt? Tell me that? How
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: do I know? Oh? Because they showed some of them
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: on so cool. Now if they didn't show them, how
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you tu don't know the exact right, right, Shirley. No,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: these companies act like they don't know what we haven't
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: seen anything that they're trying to find out fix their liability.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Before they start sing me we were on now they're
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: saying they don't know, they know. Yeah, it's really bad.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: So all right, coming up more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morn Show.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: All right, guys, here's some good news. Atlanta Mayor Kesha
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Lance Bottoms. You know her, Steve. She managed to turn
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: her viral cooking fail into a campaign to feed the
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: hungry in case you missed it, Yeah, that's really nice, right,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: miss Bottoms. Mayor Bottoms was roasted on Twitter a couple
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: of months ago after sharing a picture of her mac
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and cheese that didn't look quite so appetizing. Let's say
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Noah didn't. Luckily, though, she can take a joke, and
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: that struggle meal of hers birth the idea for her
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: to do a more than mac campaign. The mayor teamed
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: up with Kroger and raised more than thirty seven thousand
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: dollars for the Atlanta Community Food Bank since January thirty first.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Kroger customers had the choice of rounding up their purchases
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: to the nearest dollar, or they could donate the amount
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: of their choosing to the campaign, and thanks to the
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: donations and Mere Bottoms campaign, it created one hundred and
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: forty eight thousand meals. All right, so's yeah, really that's
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: really nice. Issues of inequity, such as food and security
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: in our communities must be met with thoughtful action, and
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: we remain committed to finding innovative ways to assist our
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: most vulnerable residence. So yeah, I mean, you know, she's
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: a new man. Do not eat anybody's macaronia. You just don't.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: You just don't do it. Well, that's what she's actually
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: doing is really really good. I had on my show,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I know, yeah, we were doing some macaroni and cheese.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Man that she's a great personal man. She's really really
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: gonna be a real, real, big huge asset to Atlanta. Man,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: she's really really shop man. Yeah, she was a nice
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: person on my show. But man, she's really really good.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: And the city of Atlanta loves her too. Yeah. All
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: right and good absolutely yeah, I say you can't say
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: that enough right now. And other great Atlanta news. This
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: is good news. Delta Airlines is making moves to support
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: black businesses. The company recently updated their in flight Wine
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Selections and they partnered with Napa Valley's first and only
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: black owned winery. So if you're a passenger on Delta,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you can now enjoy glasses of brown Estates two thousand
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: and seventeen sevennon blanc or the two thousand and seventeen
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: What is this chaos theory? Red Bland, red Blend. So
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: that's good. Delta said. The move is part of its
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: supplier diversity program, and one of their employees suggested the
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: winery partnering with innovative suppliers from certified small, minority and
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: women owned businesses like Brown Estate, it's fundamental to Delta's
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: strategy to keep climbing year round. This is according to
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Heather Austis, vice president of Supply Chain Management. So congratulations, right,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: damn man, I'm telling you real. Do you even drink wine?
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Silver sadin? What you don't drink? You can just have
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: blood Light, Thunderbird m in there. Boy, that's a flight, Jake.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: If you just want to do Bill, you could just
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: do blood light. Hiak And they have that no Old English.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: They ain't No, they don't have no Old English. They
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: do have beer on the planet. So the point is
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: that l is diversity, black owned businesses. We're support that.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: We think suggestions that's crazy. I want to try. Don't
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: get the names of the wine, send it to me.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Are they in stores too? That's a good question. Yeah,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: that's a good question. Yeah, let me let me try.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: And some port lines? Why not? I like? All right,

- 1:31:05Speaker 1: hours to be exact, the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Step on up to the mic for you're closing. You
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: know what, I just want to talk to you all
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: about something about other people as well as yourself. I
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: want you to realize something that you gotta just hang
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: in that, folks, You just gotta hang in that because
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: where you are it's so very temporary. It matters not
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: where you are, It only matters where you're heading. You're
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: going somewhere. Remember that everything you're going through is God
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: preparing you for what you ask for. But you're in
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: the process. You are in the midst of being processed.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: All of us are. If you are trying to get
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: to the next level, you have to be processed into
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: that next level. You can't just go to the next level.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: You can't go to the tenth grade with finish in
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: the ninth grade. You can't go to college without being
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: there with a high school diploma. You can't. You You're
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: just you gotta go through the process, you know. So
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: what I'm what I'm getting at is this, don't get
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: down on yourself because you're going through a period in
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: your life, and this period is kind of challenging for you.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Like it is right now. There are a lot of
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: people right now going through some challenging moments in their life,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: and it's getting to be a little bit daunting at times.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: And you're starting to feel a little bit overwhelmed by
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: it all because you're sitting there and you're thinking, Man,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I hadn't had enough of this, Lord where you at?
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: I don't got to learn this lesson, nomo. If you
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: could just come on, I got it, fix me, rescue me,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: deliver me, give me the blessing that I've been praying for.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: You keep asking, and then you start to get a
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: little defeat it because it ain't happening in your time.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: That happens to you, Well, it happens to other people too,
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: and you gotta be careful how you treat other people
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: because they may not always be in that position for long.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Do you know how many people I know who just
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: did me wrong when I was on the way coming up,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: You have any idea the number of people who were
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: discouraging to me on my way up. They had no idea.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: You're not any people bad mouth me, bad mouth you
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: on your way up. They don't have any idea who
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: you really are. Do you know how many people throwing
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: dirt on you thinking they bringing you harm? They don't
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: even realize what they doing. They don't know, because you
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: know what they do. It they judging you. They judging
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: you based on a season. They judging you based on
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: a period that you're in. Now, you gotta be careful
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: when you're judging people because of a period they're going through,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: because that period is just the season. This down moment
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: that you haven't is just a season. And just like
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: the seasons change, this twol shall change. Just like seasons passed,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: this twol shall pass. Somebody sent me something one day
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: that said, never judge somebody based on a season, and
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: I started thinking about it, and they went on, and
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: so I kept reading what they said, and they were
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: just talking about it. Man, it was so true. They said,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: one season David was a shepherd, but the next season
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: he was a king. But you know how they played
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: David on the way up? Oh, they wouldn't. They wouldn't
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: volunteer David for nothing. They wouldn't suggest David for nothing.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: He was just a little shepherd boy. David can't be
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: the one to go down there and get that John.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: We ain't gonna bring David up. David went from a
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: shepherd to a king. One season, Ruth was working in
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: the field. The next season she was owning the same field.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: It's just where the guys sitting. It's just biblical, you know,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: stories that's out there that really if you're a person
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: of faith, it matters to you. If you're not a
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: person of faith, this is not for you, but it's okay.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: I didn't know you was listen. One season, Mortecia was
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: sitting outside the king's palace. The next season he was
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: inside the palace. We serve a god that turns things around,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: and he is the god of unmerited favor. We are
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: all privy to his unmerited favor because he passes it
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: out to no particular person. We have all been privy
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: to this unmerited favor. You know, how many of us
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: can tell you something that happened to us that we
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: just can't explain that was favor. You know, when it
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: looked like the verdict was going one way and it
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: turned around and went another way. That was favor when
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: it looked like you wasn't gonna make it, but here
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: you are now. That was favor. When they wrote you
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: off and said you was never gonna be nothing, but
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: it turned out to be something anyhow. That was favor
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: when they laughed at you with your decision, and now
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: they're looking at you at that same decision they laughed
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: at and they're shaking their head. That were favor when
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: they tried to destroy you, when your enemies came for
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: you and they couldn't do nothing. What you all about?
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: God's an took phase a trip about the season. For
