- 2:04Speaker 1: You'are listening to the voice? Come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: one it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:11Speaker 1: was talking with my wife and she said something her
- 2:14Speaker 1: father always used to tell her. Oh, Pop Bridges used
- 2:17Speaker 1: to tell all the time, just because you can do
- 2:21Speaker 1: something don't mean you should do it. You know, I
- 2:24Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to learn
- 2:26Speaker 1: that in my life. You know, just because you can
- 2:29Speaker 1: do something does not necessarily mean you should do it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You know, I could tell people off oftentimes, but it
- 2:38Speaker 1: don't mean I should do it. You know. I could
- 2:42Speaker 1: go here and set the record straight A lot of times.
- 2:45Speaker 1: But it don't mean I should do it. Well. I've
- 2:48Speaker 1: learned a lot in that lesson folks, and because I
- 2:54Speaker 1: have a relationship with my creator. What it's done is
- 2:58Speaker 1: it's allowed me are to learn even more how to
- 3:02Speaker 1: stay still on a lot of issues that's troubling me.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It's taught me over the years. I've learned it the
- 3:09Speaker 1: hard way. I do want you to understand that that
- 3:11Speaker 1: sometimes it's better to be still. Sometimes it's better to
- 3:15Speaker 1: just let God handle a situation. It's hard to say,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and I know it's hard to say because we think
- 3:21Speaker 1: as people. But if I do this, I would feel better.
- 3:25Speaker 1: If I do this, they would know it's coming from me.
- 3:29Speaker 1: If I do this, now there feel how I feel. See.
- 3:33Speaker 1: But that's not always the best way though, I found
- 3:36Speaker 1: in my life. See, sometimes you gotta like old people
- 3:40Speaker 1: used to say, you gotta let go and let God.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta do that. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
- 3:46Speaker 1: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
- 3:49Speaker 1: she was when I was young, I thought she was
- 3:50Speaker 1: just an old, old person just talking to me. I
- 3:52Speaker 1: didn't get it, you know, how you talk to you
- 3:54Speaker 1: know how your parents used to talk to you and
- 3:56Speaker 1: you didn't get it, and they used to always say,
- 3:58Speaker 1: well wait till you have your own kids. You would
- 4:00Speaker 1: get it then, and showing off you got it. Then, Well,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm the same way. I'm no different you know. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: don't have no different life than you. You know, I
- 4:07Speaker 1: have no different upbringing in you. I don't have no
- 4:09Speaker 1: different different ways that I can live and you can't.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You know that I gotta live by the same laws
- 4:15Speaker 1: of the land that you gotta live by. I gotta
- 4:17Speaker 1: obey the principles of success. If I want to be successful,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I got a bam and you know, and if I
- 4:22Speaker 1: want to go to heaven, I go. I gotta do
- 4:23Speaker 1: what God tell me to do as many times as
- 4:26Speaker 1: I can. Now, you ain't gonna get it all right,
- 4:28Speaker 1: but he understands that, and I just get on with
- 4:31Speaker 1: the best I can. But so many times, man, we
- 4:34Speaker 1: get stuck. We get stuck right there, man, worrying about
- 4:39Speaker 1: you know, how how it's gonna come across and and
- 4:42Speaker 1: what you know, you know, kind of going around here
- 4:46Speaker 1: because I'm trying to find a way to tell you
- 4:48Speaker 1: this that that that you won't get twisted. Hit the
- 4:52Speaker 1: bottom line, you gotta let go and let God. You
- 4:55Speaker 1: have to allow him to do it his way, see
- 4:58Speaker 1: my way. I ought myself to a certain point, but
- 5:02Speaker 1: to go further, I had to let God have it.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You know. I found out I wasn't all that good
- 5:07Speaker 1: a driver. I found out I wouldn't all that good
- 5:10Speaker 1: of all explore with a map. I found out my
- 5:13Speaker 1: computer skills was oftentimes a little bit off. I found
- 5:17Speaker 1: out that my map reading skills wasn't what I thought
- 5:20Speaker 1: it was. So I had to let go. I had
- 5:22Speaker 1: to let God. And you gotta understand that God works
- 5:25Speaker 1: in mysterious ways, you know, And right how often had
- 5:29Speaker 1: I thought it was over for me? But what God
- 5:32Speaker 1: was doing was he was teaching me a lesson. He
- 5:35Speaker 1: was showing me something that I needed to know. He
- 5:38Speaker 1: was allowing me to experience some things. But he didn't
- 5:41Speaker 1: let me go under. You know how they say, God
- 5:43Speaker 1: and never put more on you than you can bail.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He won't let you go under. And but he did
- 5:48Speaker 1: not say. You know, it's like the scripture that Bishop
- 5:51Speaker 1: Olmer taught me when I was going through that traumatic
- 5:53Speaker 1: thing on the internet. Man, it was really really mad,
- 5:56Speaker 1: trying to destroy what I had worked for and my
- 5:59Speaker 1: family and this new life to God had presented me.
- 6:01Speaker 1: And the devil is busy. Devil don't like to see
- 6:03Speaker 1: you happy. So here he comes. He puts you under attack,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and here comes internet and everything, and my kids are suffering.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But you know, here here comes God. Don't see, God
- 6:12Speaker 1: don't put more on you than than you can bad.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Bishop Alma sent me a scripture. He sent me Isaiah
- 6:19Speaker 1: forty three one and two. And then that scripture it
- 6:22Speaker 1: says to the effect that you can walk through the
- 6:26Speaker 1: water the rivers, and the water won't overcome you. But
- 6:30Speaker 1: then it said you can walk through the fire and
- 6:32Speaker 1: you will not get burned, normal kindling set upon your clothes.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I learned something very valuable that day. See, God sent
- 6:42Speaker 1: me through something, but he was showing me something too.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Now he didn't do it. See, God didn't bring that
- 6:48Speaker 1: calamity into my life, because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen
- 6:53Speaker 1: it says clearly that if anyone comes against you, it
- 6:56Speaker 1: will not be my doing. But he now, this is
- 6:59Speaker 1: what promised you when people come for you, though, see,
- 7:02Speaker 1: and this is what I learned. That's why I have
- 7:04Speaker 1: no fear of the people coming anymore, see, because I
- 7:07Speaker 1: learned that. But God had to send me through a
- 7:09Speaker 1: traumatic experience in order for me to learn that. See,
- 7:13Speaker 1: you can't have a testimony without a test you know, understanding.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. See. So what
- 7:20Speaker 1: he did was he allowed at internet thing come cross
- 7:22Speaker 1: cross into my life. But he taught me something. And
- 7:24Speaker 1: Isaiah forty three one and two was and you can
- 7:27Speaker 1: walk through the fire and not get burned, normal kindling
- 7:30Speaker 1: set upon your clothing. So what that said to me was,
- 7:33Speaker 1: even though you're trying to do me and it's fire
- 7:36Speaker 1: all around me, I won't burn. But when it's over,
- 7:40Speaker 1: kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me
- 7:43Speaker 1: was and what it taught me was not only would
- 7:46Speaker 1: I walk through the fire and not get burned, but
- 7:48Speaker 1: there would be no signs that I was ever in
- 7:51Speaker 1: the fire. There's no signs of it. But not hold
- 7:54Speaker 1: up though. Now he go to part though that I
- 7:56Speaker 1: had to learn even though you can walk through the fire, y'all,
- 8:00Speaker 1: and even though you're being flames and scorching all around you,
- 8:03Speaker 1: if you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn.
- 8:05Speaker 1: But now hear what he did not say though. He
- 8:07Speaker 1: did not say that it was not going to be
- 8:11Speaker 1: uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there. He didn't say that.
- 8:17Speaker 1: He just said, you won't burn. And when it's over,
- 8:20Speaker 1: it won't be no killing on your cause it won't
- 8:22Speaker 1: be no signs that you was in the fire. See
- 8:24Speaker 1: what happened to me was after they tried to destroy me.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Let me show you what God did from it. Not
- 8:29Speaker 1: only did I not not only did they not accomplish
- 8:31Speaker 1: what they set out to do, but when they was
- 8:33Speaker 1: through with me though, when they was through throwing the
- 8:36Speaker 1: gas and throwing the fine, throwing their hate and writing
- 8:40Speaker 1: it in lyne and creating all these names for themselves
- 8:44Speaker 1: so it could look like more people was hating. When
- 8:46Speaker 1: they got through with all that, Look at me, man,
- 8:50Speaker 1: Look what he did to me. Look what he did
- 8:53Speaker 1: from me. Because he taught me something that day. And
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm sharing it with you because God will do the
- 8:58Speaker 1: same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You got to get in there and you got to
- 9:02Speaker 1: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So just like Pop Bridges taught my wife Margie, just
- 9:08Speaker 1: because you can do something don't mean you all to
- 9:10Speaker 1: do something. Yeah, you could go down there and straight
- 9:12Speaker 1: in the mouth, but should you though? Yeah, you can
- 9:14Speaker 1: go down there and tell them all. Yeah, you can
- 9:16Speaker 1: go down stand up and make sure they know it's
- 9:18Speaker 1: your voice that they're here, and you can get in
- 9:20Speaker 1: their face and make a scene. But should you though,
- 9:23Speaker 1: or should you let go and let God see? So
- 9:28Speaker 1: before we run all out in the streets and somebody
- 9:33Speaker 1: that that that that we forming these groups and somebody
- 9:35Speaker 1: go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Now I'm not saying don't go out there, but you
- 9:40Speaker 1: gotta watch who you go out there with, because somebody
- 9:42Speaker 1: crazy you could be. You can go down there with
- 9:44Speaker 1: peace in your heart. Somebody this side, I'm gonna throw
- 9:46Speaker 1: a brick through here and bust a wonder. Hold up, partner,
- 9:49Speaker 1: hold up, there ain't what we're down here doing. So see, sometimes, man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: you gotta let go, and you gotta let God. You
- 9:54Speaker 1: gotta let God have a situation sometimes and you get
- 9:57Speaker 1: it in and do the things that he tells you
- 9:58Speaker 1: to do. See Bishop woman and taught me a lot.
- 10:01Speaker 1: He had another book out and he said, you know,
- 10:04Speaker 1: knowing God's voice or something like that. I'm not sure
- 10:06Speaker 1: the title, but I never really knew the definition of
- 10:10Speaker 1: how do you know as God's voice talking to you? Well,
- 10:13Speaker 1: he clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sin
- 10:17Speaker 1: in it. See anything you're talking about. Whenever you're talking about,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna go I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get
- 10:23Speaker 1: him back. I'm gonna write a letter and I'm gonna
- 10:25Speaker 1: tell him down at his job. If it's sin in it,
- 10:28Speaker 1: God ain't in it. See that's you. Now, God's voice
- 10:32Speaker 1: has no sin in it. So when you say God
- 10:35Speaker 1: told me, be careful, because God ain't never told you
- 10:40Speaker 1: to go do nothing wrong. That ain't what he told you.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And I learned that too. It's a lot, so I'm
- 10:45Speaker 1: just sharing the day. I hope it helps somebody today
- 10:48Speaker 1: get through a difficult time because the show has helped me.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And I'm just talking to myself now because I got
- 10:53Speaker 1: another one I'm looking at. I'm dealing with it though.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm all good. Please know you're show. I was born
- 11:05Speaker 1: to change. Oh you're supposed to finish that man? Come on,
- 11:10Speaker 1: at least give us up by the river. At least
- 11:15Speaker 1: Old Jay wants ball by the river. That's all I'm
- 11:23Speaker 1: gonna do. That was good enough for me because I
- 11:26Speaker 1: was born by Rivers Creek down our backyard and boring
- 11:29Speaker 1: to West Virginia. You don't let us shock whoa just
- 11:35Speaker 1: like the river run Barty Sherley, you just stopped. Keep up.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That's how I want to start today. Just Ira Junior,
- 11:50Speaker 1: man going on, big dog it dog. You're in a
- 11:55Speaker 1: great mood today. Man in another one. Jesh, yeah, Jess, Jess, Jess,
- 12:12Speaker 1: let me make man just start. Tell the millennials though.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You gotta let the millennial millennials know what's going on,
- 12:29Speaker 1: what's happened. See, I'm just busting out. I'm just busting
- 12:33Speaker 1: out hits. Yeah, als, old school hits. Classic that just
- 12:41Speaker 1: opened up with just good ranche and singing. Put that wrong?
- 12:49Speaker 1: All that all that boy used to open for me?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Oh oh what that? Tina, Marie Andrank keep being a
- 13:02Speaker 1: Harway Frank Hallum, what thing? Frank him and leave him? Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 1: he would be by a design. Yeah, in the hallway.
- 13:15Speaker 1: He'll be walking in the hallway just hitting that note
- 13:17Speaker 1: in that time. That would do him in the time
- 13:27Speaker 1: sooner he walked out on love leave here da come on,
- 13:39Speaker 1: That's what they used to do us and abusedly. Then
- 13:50Speaker 1: late os oh you it was past the ya wow,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you went bad. You went from Sam Cook to the
- 14:10Speaker 1: o J's Eddie the vert girl. And then you've got
- 14:16Speaker 1: your hooks and me yeah you ba you bay, oh
- 14:27Speaker 1: baby baby. All right, oh good, you've got your hooks
- 14:36Speaker 1: and me when we got right after this, you're listening
- 14:45Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up
- 14:48Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, guys, Miss Anna's gonna
- 14:50Speaker 1: be here with today's national news and just a reminder,
- 14:54Speaker 1: please please please get out and vote this Tuesday. It's
- 14:57Speaker 1: the one coming up, November six, It is election day.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Use your power and everyone on the show, we've done yes,
- 15:06Speaker 1: we're we're showing by example. We didn't want to be
- 15:08Speaker 1: on telling you to vote. Vote. Listen to me, y'all,
- 15:13Speaker 1: go out and vote. This is so very, very important.
- 15:18Speaker 1: This is your chance to say to this president listen, man,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you can't just do it this way. We do care
- 15:28Speaker 1: about one another. We do want to live in a
- 15:31Speaker 1: peaceful society. We do want our children to play together.
- 15:35Speaker 1: We do want our world to be safe, and we
- 15:39Speaker 1: want to do it without divisive hatred spewed remarks from
- 15:45Speaker 1: the top. You cannot govern this country the way you are.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Congratulations on the economy, Congratulations on manufacturing jobs, Congratulations on
- 15:56Speaker 1: passing your tax bill. He loves credit, so let's give
- 15:59Speaker 1: him that. But what you cannot do. It's makes me
- 16:04Speaker 1: feel this way about everybody that's a seeking asylum and
- 16:08Speaker 1: everybody that's seeking an opportunity in this country. Here's the
- 16:12Speaker 1: problem that I have with their hatred of immigrants. Right now,
- 16:17Speaker 1: all of those, everybody's forefather in this country is an immigrant,
- 16:23Speaker 1: every last one of them. I don't care what dis
- 16:27Speaker 1: sent you from. Somebody came here uninvited, all the long
- 16:34Speaker 1: these West East and West coast. Somebody came here uninvited,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and we opened the doors. Now all of a sudden,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you got a problem when it comes from south of
- 16:48Speaker 1: the border. Hate to tell you this, Ask the Indians
- 16:52Speaker 1: what the biggest crowd would boy, Native Americans. Stop acting
- 16:59Speaker 1: like this is all of a sudden issue yours and
- 17:03Speaker 1: yours alone. No, it's ours, it belongs to all of us.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's not just yours. And here's another problem. We got
- 17:12Speaker 1: to get out of vote because this president has described
- 17:15Speaker 1: Democrats as a mob. If you're not a Republican. You're
- 17:21Speaker 1: a member of a mob. He is calling all Democrats
- 17:27Speaker 1: a member of a mob, that that all Democrats want
- 17:31Speaker 1: to destroy the country that we have. Excuse me, man,
- 17:36Speaker 1: that how can you say that every Democrat is a
- 17:41Speaker 1: member of the mob. That's what the tweet is saying.
- 17:45Speaker 1: They're an angry mob. The media is the enemy of
- 17:49Speaker 1: the people. Why you don't like the media because they
- 17:53Speaker 1: call you out on stuff that you do and saye
- 17:57Speaker 1: see they fact check Fox. Don't when you lie on Fox?
- 18:03Speaker 1: They just don't bring up the lie. They just keep
- 18:06Speaker 1: on going. They act like you ain't said it exactly
- 18:10Speaker 1: we're seeing in they went, holdup, man, do you hear
- 18:13Speaker 1: what you just said? Now you call them fake news?
- 18:16Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what was really disturbing when he
- 18:19Speaker 1: went to visit when he went down to Pittsburgh where
- 18:24Speaker 1: the people were murdered in the Synegogue, horrible tragedy. His time,
- 18:29Speaker 1: he was a little off. He went, you and Milani went,
- 18:33Speaker 1: But the tweet afterwards, me and Lina went. We were
- 18:36Speaker 1: treated very warmly by the people in Pittsburgh and the
- 18:42Speaker 1: representatives of Pittsburgh and some small protest group that were
- 18:48Speaker 1: far away that we never saw was portrayed in a
- 18:52Speaker 1: way by the fake news that never happened. Shame on them,
- 18:57Speaker 1: the enemy of the state. Excuse me. It wasn't a
- 19:00Speaker 1: small protest, it was huge. You weren't welcomed by a
- 19:04Speaker 1: lot of politicians because you were only met by the
- 19:07Speaker 1: National god our Force dude and his wife, the mayor
- 19:11Speaker 1: and everybody else. Did nobody come meet you? But you
- 19:15Speaker 1: took a moment where you were supposed to make it
- 19:17Speaker 1: all about these people at the syne, and you turn
- 19:20Speaker 1: it around too. There was no rallying protest against up. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 1: it was man. But he didn't have to say that.
- 19:27Speaker 1: That's the point. He didn't have to say. You never
- 19:29Speaker 1: should have mentioned it. But he's so penny anny. It's
- 19:33Speaker 1: always about Everything should have been about these people and
- 19:37Speaker 1: their losses in Pittsburgh. Everything should have been about that
- 19:41Speaker 1: still grieving over that. Yes, wasn't he the same dude
- 19:44Speaker 1: to killing people in the Croaker? Oh no, no, no, oh,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I got it wrong. That was a guy that went
- 19:51Speaker 1: to this black church to kill some people in the
- 19:53Speaker 1: black church, but the doors were locked. That was the
- 19:55Speaker 1: same guilla out but the sentence, But you're no the
- 20:02Speaker 1: same person that killed the people in the synagogue and
- 20:04Speaker 1: the people that went to the church, and the person
- 20:06Speaker 1: I went to the church and kill the two black people.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Those are two different people, two different the same man.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Does that make sense? Yeah, it's an oxymoron what we have. Yeah,
- 20:18Speaker 1: he saw he controls his base with fear and and
- 20:24Speaker 1: racial toned and hatred rhetoric. He has not said one
- 20:29Speaker 1: unifying thing as the president. I want to reach across
- 20:32Speaker 1: the aisle. I want our country to be great. Now,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you didn't you want to make America great again. I
- 20:38Speaker 1: don't know what time period you trying to take us
- 20:40Speaker 1: back to, but you can miss me on Juneral six,
- 20:43Speaker 1: because we're gonna vote and we're gonna get a balance
- 20:46Speaker 1: set here this Tuesday. We're gonna get a balance in
- 20:49Speaker 1: here November six. Yeah. But under Steve, let me ask youself,
- 20:52Speaker 1: wouldn't you have if just Pittsburgh alone, wouldn't you have
- 20:56Speaker 1: waited a great amount of time for you go up there.
- 21:01Speaker 1: It's like this, I don't really know, no matter. He's
- 21:05Speaker 1: damned if he doing, damned if he don't. Yeah, and
- 21:08Speaker 1: now he has campaigning to do. That's why we scheduled it.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Once they say they don't want you there, and he
- 21:15Speaker 1: had to harry up and go, oh yeah, yeah, but
- 21:18Speaker 1: let me go on and go get this out to
- 21:19Speaker 1: wait so I can get back on this trail and
- 21:21Speaker 1: tell you who not to vote for. Yah. Yeah, he
- 21:26Speaker 1: had to go on and get that out the way.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Sound didn't like him. Passion, No, he ain't said one
- 21:32Speaker 1: compassion anything. If you do be reading it off a
- 21:35Speaker 1: teleprompter as soon as you get in front of the
- 21:37Speaker 1: rather he's gonna change it any damn. All right, we're
- 21:41Speaker 1: gonna switch gears here. Guys coming up next the nephew
- 21:44Speaker 1: would run that prank back. It's coming up right after this.

- 22:21Speaker 1: do it? Can I get this out though? Get ready.
- 22:28Speaker 1: At the top of the hour. Inside Entertainment News, Jennifer
- 22:31Speaker 1: Lopez did a half naked photo shoot. She's gonna show
- 22:35Speaker 1: how ageless her forty nine year old body is. She
- 22:39Speaker 1: incredible who did you just hear what I said? Married
- 22:48Speaker 1: man with a new TV show? All right, look we
- 22:52Speaker 1: got we gotta get to the prank. Nepew Tommy is
- 22:55Speaker 1: here to run that prank back. What you got turn
- 22:58Speaker 1: it garnish your wages, Steve know a lot about that.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Ghne Is your wages hideous now? But we're not now.
- 23:07Speaker 1: But back in the day, he didn't have his gne
- 23:11Speaker 1: Ghan he didn't been gan before. I'm trying to reach
- 23:15Speaker 1: a place. My name is Uh from the District Attorney's office. Hi.
- 23:21Speaker 1: How are you giving you a call today? Ma'a? I'm
- 23:23Speaker 1: trying to get some updates from you. Your husband, Mr.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Is he uh still not working at this point? Okay?
- 23:32Speaker 1: How long has he been out of work so far? Ma'am?
- 23:34Speaker 1: Could you could you give me an update on this? Okay?
- 23:39Speaker 1: All right, here's what we're having. The problems that we're having.
- 23:42Speaker 1: You have a son, Um I think it's his name
- 23:46Speaker 1: is as well, fourteen years old? Am I right? Okay?
- 23:50Speaker 1: The child support is not being paid from Mr for
- 23:55Speaker 1: the for Mr. Young and then we're trying to get
- 23:58Speaker 1: this thing rectified. Now. The problem that we're gonna have
- 24:00Speaker 1: the reason why we're giving you a call is considering
- 24:03Speaker 1: that your your husband hasn't worked since the first of
- 24:05Speaker 1: the year, and I haven't done the research yet. I'm
- 24:08Speaker 1: just I'm just now pulling up your file. I haven't
- 24:10Speaker 1: done the research. And see how many months in the
- 24:12Speaker 1: rears he is on child support that started once um
- 24:17Speaker 1: he lost a job. Okay, Well, the problem that we're
- 24:22Speaker 1: we're going to have is they're gonna start taking uh
- 24:25Speaker 1: child support actually, and I hate to give you this
- 24:28Speaker 1: news out of your check until I don't understand how
- 24:32Speaker 1: that self, because I have my own kids. I understand,
- 24:35Speaker 1: but they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am until this
- 24:38Speaker 1: until your husband can get this thing back on its
- 24:40Speaker 1: feet and get it rectified and get him up to
- 24:43Speaker 1: parts for of all the payments that are hurt that place.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Because if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working
- 24:49Speaker 1: because that's not gonna happen. I have my own children,
- 24:52Speaker 1: so I don't understand how that's self. I don't don't
- 24:55Speaker 1: have anything to do with child for it or anything
- 24:57Speaker 1: like that. And if that's the case, I'm not gonna
- 24:59Speaker 1: be working as a white Now, the garnishing of the
- 25:01Speaker 1: check is gonna come from you and you are at
- 25:03Speaker 1: the hospital. Correct, No, that's not it's not where you work.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I don't. I'm not gonna be working as of right now.
- 25:09Speaker 1: That's what I just telled you. So y'all do whatever
- 25:11Speaker 1: you have to do, and I'll do whatever I have
- 25:13Speaker 1: to do on my inn. Okay, well hold on it.
- 25:15Speaker 1: You're willing to quit your job, I'm not understanding this.
- 25:17Speaker 1: If you're sure, why, because I'm not going to be
- 25:20Speaker 1: taking care of someone else's kids and I have my own.
- 25:22Speaker 1: So how that's right? So somebody else can take care
- 25:24Speaker 1: of mines then, because I'm not going to be doing it.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You're so right? All right? Well, I mean I'm just say,
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know, don't I don't want you to be upset
- 25:31Speaker 1: with you. I don't want you to be upset with me.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I can be able to contact you, Okay, you know
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna. I'm gonna let you know. There's just a
- 25:38Speaker 1: bit of information. You're still gonna if you're quitting your job, man,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you guys are still gonna be liable for the child's support. Okay,
- 25:45Speaker 1: Well that's fine, Not you guys, because it's not my children. Say, okay,
- 25:50Speaker 1: it's not your guys. He will be liable. Okay, because
- 25:55Speaker 1: I don't. I mean, can I stept you hold my
- 25:57Speaker 1: moment because I need to temp outside. If that's okay,
- 25:59Speaker 1: or there's a number I can contact you back. Okay,
- 26:02Speaker 1: Are you able to step outside right now? Um? Yes,
- 26:05Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's kind
- 26:06Speaker 1: of kind of ok let's do this. Why don't you
- 26:09Speaker 1: step outside and I'll wait for you to call give
- 26:12Speaker 1: me about forty five seconds, but I'm gonna give a
- 26:14Speaker 1: call on my manager on this situation. Okay, please all right,
- 26:18Speaker 1: thank you? Hello? Okay, Mr right again from the District
- 26:26Speaker 1: Attorney's office. Okay, you can hear me now, yes, I can?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Yes, ma'am, I sure can. Now,
- 26:31Speaker 1: let's get to the bottom of everything. I couldn't get
- 26:33Speaker 1: my manager on the phone, but I'll keep trying. I
- 26:36Speaker 1: just want to know. I mean, that's I'm just mention
- 26:40Speaker 1: your letting. I know you are and I hate to
- 26:42Speaker 1: be so short with you, but I don't understand because
- 26:45Speaker 1: we're not even getting enough income coming in as of
- 26:48Speaker 1: right now, and you're speaking of I have three children
- 26:51Speaker 1: that I'm struggling to take care of our my owners
- 26:57Speaker 1: but and you're speaking of that, you're from be deductive
- 27:01Speaker 1: money from gonna share my check for his child's birth.
- 27:05Speaker 1: What's your stain something? What's your name? Man? Who is
- 27:08Speaker 1: there someone else I need to speak with? No, we're
- 27:11Speaker 1: on the phone I have. That's my sisters taking care
- 27:13Speaker 1: of me. We're part of the District Attorney County. Ma'am. Yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 1: she's gone from the office the child support service. She
- 27:24Speaker 1: works with the child support Okay, man, I speak with you.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Let me speak with your sister. Man, So where do
- 27:30Speaker 1: you I mean, how is this going to be done?
- 27:32Speaker 1: Because that's not gonna leave me the cast to be
- 27:35Speaker 1: able to support my own kids. I mean in my
- 27:37Speaker 1: own home. I understand that. You know, maybe this is
- 27:41Speaker 1: a problem with having a person hanging around person because
- 27:45Speaker 1: has raised the sea about his kids all their life.
- 27:47Speaker 1: This is a jealous mother that decided off them eighteen
- 27:51Speaker 1: years that she wanted to really around. Because that's what
- 28:03Speaker 1: the what in the hell is going on with those
- 28:05Speaker 1: people in the background? This nephew times he didn't hit
- 28:10Speaker 1: the fan. No, I couldn't get to go out with
- 28:14Speaker 1: her sister was there? Don't say nothing to him? Made
- 28:16Speaker 1: to get off the phones. I need you to call
- 28:18Speaker 1: on three ways. They was calling somebody probably calling downtown
- 28:21Speaker 1: gonna get theirself in motrouble. Okay, what's wrong? I called
- 28:27Speaker 1: you back? I say about it. No, you want You're
- 28:30Speaker 1: gonna talk to her right now? And I told you're
- 28:34Speaker 1: gonna pay this child support, not me. Get the best way.
- 28:38Speaker 1: You can't me call me. I'm gonna pay this. You're
- 28:43Speaker 1: gonna make me. You gotta make me whip your behind.
- 28:45Speaker 1: This money. You will find out who he is. You
- 28:48Speaker 1: want to you want to tell it to my lad? Yeah?
- 28:50Speaker 1: I want to. Where is your You don't have a lawyer?
- 28:53Speaker 1: You know well you don't have one because I know
- 28:55Speaker 1: I don't. Who happened? However, you got my novel holding posts?
- 29:00Speaker 1: They have to for your job. We have to go
- 29:04Speaker 1: to court. Who is this nephew? Timing from Steve Harvey morning? Yo,
- 29:10Speaker 1: ya just gotta drank bomb baby, don't pay for this.
- 29:34Speaker 1: You don't call the foodie. Well you just found that
- 29:38Speaker 1: something white finished. Curse give me a black mouth because
- 29:43Speaker 1: all out I gotta ask. I gotta ask all y'all something.
- 29:49Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land? What
- 29:58Speaker 1: y'all think crazy's ever? Yeah? What I spoke, Did I
- 30:02Speaker 1: do what I suppose? Was I stupid? Yeah? That question? Alright,
- 30:08Speaker 1: then let me put this out there right now. Uh,
- 30:10Speaker 1: this coming Friday, that'd be no being with a second
- 30:12Speaker 1: Uh the Nephew Pine Bluff Convention Center. I will be there.
- 30:16Speaker 1: It's home coming, y'all. Yeah, DC, Young Fly, Nephew, Tommy,
- 30:19Speaker 1: and Don D. C Curry would be in the building
- 30:23Speaker 1: because on sale read NA. Yeah, alright, coming up Texas
- 30:38Speaker 1: Entertainment News. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 30:42Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, coming up in twenty minutes, David
- 30:47Speaker 1: and Tamila Man will be our special guests. They're gonna
- 30:50Speaker 1: tell us about their first album together. It's called Us
- 30:52Speaker 1: Against the World. But the first entertainment news for today,
- 30:57Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez is. I'm the latest cover of End Style magazine.
- 31:01Speaker 1: You guys have to pick a copy of this magazine up.
- 31:04Speaker 1: In true Jlo fashion, she looks, I'm looking at it.
- 31:08Speaker 1: She looks fabulous. I mean just fabulous. This mold and fabu.
- 31:14Speaker 1: She shared a few tidbits with the magazine about how
- 31:16Speaker 1: she manages to basically look twenty nine at age forty
- 31:20Speaker 1: nine to either the pranks or your wife. You can't
- 31:32Speaker 1: just be using We haven't seen the picture. I got more.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You tried to tell him. We all tried to man.
- 31:44Speaker 1: All right. So j Loo says she doesn't drink coffee,
- 31:47Speaker 1: she doesn't drink caffeine, she doesn't do alcohol, and she
- 31:50Speaker 1: gets lots of sleep. She says, she's taking care of herself.
- 31:54Speaker 1: And now it shows you know what I mean, people
- 31:56Speaker 1: out sleep a lot, don't look nothing like you. Just
- 31:59Speaker 1: sleep right now as we gonna put that off sleep.
- 32:08Speaker 1: That's what Jennifer said. Now you're doing more than sleeping.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Now you're working out though, well she exactly, she works
- 32:14Speaker 1: out and she she's got to be eating right. Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 1: you know you look like that when you try, she says,
- 32:22Speaker 1: she's she. Um, you know, she's added weight training to
- 32:25Speaker 1: her fitness routines because she she has she started to
- 32:29Speaker 1: lose muscle when she dances a lot, and you know
- 32:31Speaker 1: she had that, um you know, she's in Vegas. So
- 32:35Speaker 1: anyway saw that show. Yeah, and she looked great. Yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 1: she does. She do Jenny from the Block. Dude, it's
- 32:43Speaker 1: off the chain. Jenny from the Block is off the chain.
- 32:47Speaker 1: So yeah, she has she she just finished her residency
- 32:50Speaker 1: in Vegas, and she said when she dances too much,
- 32:53Speaker 1: she loses muscle. So that's about the only sign she's
- 32:56Speaker 1: getting older because she doesn't look like it. So that's
- 32:58Speaker 1: why she's added, uh, weightlifting to her workout routine. Yea
- 33:02Speaker 1: lift weights too, And she says, I don't look like that.
- 33:06Speaker 1: But she says she started squinting, squinting a little bit
- 33:09Speaker 1: on her phone and you know, meaning you know she
- 33:12Speaker 1: might her eyes you know, at a certain age. But yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 1: she looks, she looks yeah about her. Yeah, she looks beautiful.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I mean she really does. I don't care if she
- 33:22Speaker 1: can't see. I'll get you a dog. I don't not
- 33:31Speaker 1: even two dogs. How many of the dogs they got
- 33:33Speaker 1: when they be in Alaska, when they be on the thing,
- 33:35Speaker 1: how many do get you a sled? A slate, damn
- 33:40Speaker 1: Husky team. Tommy and Steve about j Lo a dog
- 33:47Speaker 1: and talk what Tommy is the sled. I'm not the sled.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be the sled. I'm next to j
- 34:00Speaker 1: low endlessly. But is how she's going it? Huh Yeah, Okay,
- 34:05Speaker 1: it's beautiful, beautiful picture. Yeah Junior, No, all the sports
- 34:09Speaker 1: not Junior. Is she still with uh? And you can
- 34:14Speaker 1: see why he ain't going nowhere. I don't give a
- 34:17Speaker 1: day of what she's saying. I'm not leaving. They look
- 34:20Speaker 1: like they're in love. They do, they do, they really do. Yeah.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I think they're equally yoked. I think that's what it is.
- 34:26Speaker 1: They look equally yoked. Very good. I'm happy for him too. Ye.
- 34:30Speaker 1: If it don't go right, what I'm here? Hey, man,
- 34:35Speaker 1: let me tell you and Thomas, y'all go and man,
- 34:42Speaker 1: we're sexy. It's time for headline Steve, let's please get
- 34:46Speaker 1: out of this one. Well, yeah, not a rod sexy anyway.
- 34:54Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news, alright. The suspect
- 34:57Speaker 1: in the massacre of eleven innocent worshippers and in Pittsburgh
- 34:59Speaker 1: Center God last Saturday, Robert Bowers, has now officially been
- 35:02Speaker 1: hit with forty four counts. Yeah, those charges against him
- 35:05Speaker 1: ramped up to forty four, including hate crimes. Prosecutors say
- 35:08Speaker 1: Bowers open fire inside the Tree of Life Synagogue, killing
- 35:11Speaker 1: eleven innocent people injuring six more, among them four police officers.
- 35:16Speaker 1: The chairman of emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh
- 35:19Speaker 1: Medical Center says two of the injured a police officer
- 35:21Speaker 1: and a congregant are getting better too. In the intensive
- 35:24Speaker 1: care unit are doing much better now, no longer requiring
- 35:27Speaker 1: breathing assistance or medications to support their boy pressure. Meanwhile,
- 35:31Speaker 1: Robert Bowers remains jailed without bond. He's facing a preliminary
- 35:34Speaker 1: hearing later this morning. As a matter of fact, the
- 35:36Speaker 1: Feds say they are seeking the death penalty against this guy. Meanwhile,
- 35:39Speaker 1: funeral services for the victims continue. President Trump bi there
- 35:43Speaker 1: remains on the stump for these last days for the
- 35:46Speaker 1: all important mid term election. Immigration seems to be the
- 35:49Speaker 1: issue his base is most fired up about, and at
- 35:51Speaker 1: rallies yesterday, the President said that he was sending thousands
- 35:54Speaker 1: of law enforcement officers to the US Mexico border to
- 35:57Speaker 1: keep the Central American caravan from come in here. As
- 36:00Speaker 1: far as the caravan is concerned, our military is out.
- 36:04Speaker 1: We have about five thousand, eight will go up to
- 36:07Speaker 1: anywhere be Queen Tenant, fifteen thousand military personnel on top
- 36:11Speaker 1: of border patrols and everybody else at the border. Nobody's
- 36:15Speaker 1: coming in even though they are more than one hundred
- 36:18Speaker 1: miles away. Trump claims that the caravan is dangerous. Another
- 36:22Speaker 1: immigration related subject, early this week, we told you about
- 36:24Speaker 1: the Commander in Chief announcing that he intends to go
- 36:27Speaker 1: around the Constitution by way of executive order to prevent
- 36:30Speaker 1: the children of illegal aliens born on US soil from
- 36:32Speaker 1: gaining automatic citizenship. However, there are a number of different
- 36:35Speaker 1: opinions on that idea, one of them coming from how
- 36:37Speaker 1: Speaker Paul Ryan, who says the President can't legally ignore
- 36:41Speaker 1: the fourteenth Amendment. However, Trump is aiming his Twitter finger
- 36:44Speaker 1: at Ryan, saying that Ryan should focus on keeping a
- 36:47Speaker 1: GOP majority in the House and not weighing in on
- 36:50Speaker 1: his plans to end automatic citizen birth. A fellow appeals
- 36:53Speaker 1: court has ruled at residents in Ohio are purged from
- 36:56Speaker 1: voting roles for not casting bouts over a six year period,
- 36:59Speaker 1: must be allowed to vote in next terms midterm election.
- 37:02Speaker 1: They said they can do it. They can do it
- 37:04Speaker 1: by provisional battle if they want. A mafia hitman is
- 37:08Speaker 1: the prime suspect and the murder of former Irish gang
- 37:10Speaker 1: boss Whity Bolger. Boulger found beaten to death in his
- 37:13Speaker 1: cell merely one day after being transferred to a new
- 37:17Speaker 1: lock up in West Virginia. A former federal investigator says
- 37:20Speaker 1: another inmate, Freddie Yas and maybe one other prisoner beat
- 37:24Speaker 1: the eighty nine year old former gangster to death. Apparently
- 37:27Speaker 1: had a lot of a lot of enemies and that
- 37:29Speaker 1: may have been why he was being transferred in the
- 37:31Speaker 1: first place. Finally, today is National Eat Healthy Day, you know,
- 37:34Speaker 1: real healthy like food. Steve Harvey Nation find out of
- 37:43Speaker 1: Uncle Steve Smart than his nephew to ay miss After
- 37:45Speaker 1: the Alabe, we'll be back on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:48Speaker 1: You're listening to stow alright, guys, we've been waiting for
- 37:53Speaker 1: this one. Our special guests are a husband and wife
- 37:56Speaker 1: team that have taken over the stage and screen with
- 37:59Speaker 1: mu Zick with stage plays, TV shows and movies. And
- 38:04Speaker 1: to add to that, they've done their first album together
- 38:08Speaker 1: and that highlights their love story and their journey together.
- 38:11Speaker 1: They also have a brand new book out together. Both
- 38:14Speaker 1: the album and the book are titled Us Against the World. Please,
- 38:18Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together. Don't take them
- 38:21Speaker 1: off the wheels though, and welcome to the show. If
- 38:24Speaker 1: you're driving. If you're driving, don't do it. David and
- 38:27Speaker 1: Tamala Mann that David, that's sang it. Tam kid Me
- 38:43Speaker 1: to the Key. There were good. Us against the World,
- 38:56Speaker 1: that's what we're talking about, Steve. It's their love project.
- 38:59Speaker 1: It's the first full album together. It's going to be
- 39:02Speaker 1: released November nine, that is next Friday. It's just an
- 39:06Speaker 1: inside look because we see you guys, we see and
- 39:08Speaker 1: we can feel the love and so you, guys, I
- 39:11Speaker 1: guess with this project. Decided to share it with us
- 39:14Speaker 1: and let us know what's really going on. Huh, right,
- 39:17Speaker 1: we did. The book is called Us Against the World
- 39:19Speaker 1: Our Secrets to Love, Marriage and Family, and it's uh,
- 39:22Speaker 1: it's we're taking people on the thirty year journey. It's
- 39:24Speaker 1: what's the journey for thirty years that we've been on
- 39:27Speaker 1: Steve known as for a lot of them years and uh,
- 39:32Speaker 1: and so what we decided to do is when we
- 39:34Speaker 1: wrote the books, we were like, hey, music is I think?
- 39:38Speaker 1: So we decided to do a soundtrack to the book.
- 39:41Speaker 1: And I finally got him in the studio. He was
- 39:44Speaker 1: running for so long. David could actually sing yeah, and
- 39:50Speaker 1: that's what I've been sading and see and he was running.
- 39:53Speaker 1: He was like, no, I got paperwork to do. I
- 39:55Speaker 1: got paperwork. I love it. I always got out of it.
- 40:01Speaker 1: But she wouldn't let me get out of it this time.
- 40:03Speaker 1: But you know that my son put together a team
- 40:06Speaker 1: of guys that put together some songs that were Taylor made.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I think you guys have the first single, good Love.
- 40:13Speaker 1: It was tailor made for my voice. So I was like,
- 40:15Speaker 1: let's do it, man, Let's do a whole album. And
- 40:17Speaker 1: in this book, we're spilling some junk on both of us.
- 40:21Speaker 1: So okay, alright, we'll give us something, give us one
- 40:26Speaker 1: little tidbit that we'll find in the book. Well, one
- 40:29Speaker 1: of the chapters is called the Knock at the Door,
- 40:32Speaker 1: the knock that every brother dread. I got the knocking
- 40:36Speaker 1: to do a five years into our marriage. She's at work, chilling,
- 40:40Speaker 1: and the knock came from the constable. By the way, sir,
- 40:44Speaker 1: you have a child knock right now. It was it
- 40:56Speaker 1: was you know, this was from a young lady before
- 40:58Speaker 1: we got married. But it happened. It happened, and it
- 41:03Speaker 1: almost broke us apart. And that's where the title us
- 41:05Speaker 1: against the world out the book. You know, when but
- 41:14Speaker 1: we're doing the doing. We're out on tour now, and
- 41:16Speaker 1: we tell the story doing the tour. You know, we
- 41:19Speaker 1: shot a little deal forward during the tour, and so
- 41:21Speaker 1: many couples have said, look, you guys have helped us
- 41:24Speaker 1: heal our marriage. Yes, hold on, hold on, hey man,
- 41:27Speaker 1: y'all stay right there. This is good. We're gonna come
- 41:30Speaker 1: back with more with David and Tamla Man talking about
- 41:34Speaker 1: the US Against the World tour and we're talking about
- 41:37Speaker 1: the book and Against the World. We'll be right back.
- 41:43Speaker 1: You're listening to show we're back. We're back with our
- 41:49Speaker 1: special guest David and Tamla Man. We've been discussing Us
- 41:53Speaker 1: against the World. Uh, it's a love project. It's first
- 41:56Speaker 1: full album together. It's gonna be released November ninth, next Friday.
- 42:02Speaker 1: It's an inside look at a love story between two people.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I want to share that journey with you, and it's
- 42:08Speaker 1: David and Tamblerman. And uh, he was just giving us
- 42:10Speaker 1: a one little m P. So y'all shouldn't open that
- 42:18Speaker 1: door a little David, it's more, it's more to it.
- 42:26Speaker 1: It's still a journey that that we have to follow,
- 42:28Speaker 1: so it's a lot more to it. But it's good
- 42:30Speaker 1: for me and the baby of me and my daughter.
- 42:32Speaker 1: We hey were type. The thing is that we type.
- 42:36Speaker 1: We have a great understanding. We have a great relationship
- 42:39Speaker 1: all of this, and you know, the baby didn't have
- 42:42Speaker 1: anything to do with it. If I loved him, I
- 42:45Speaker 1: was willing to deal with her and all in the
- 42:48Speaker 1: rest of the that's a heck of a woman. Yeah,
- 42:57Speaker 1: I ain't got there yet. Yeah, I'm still working on you,
- 43:05Speaker 1: working on all of us, see them working on all
- 43:08Speaker 1: of us. The thing is that you're gonna have the argument.
- 43:10Speaker 1: That's just the way to do it without beating each
- 43:13Speaker 1: other up. You know. Sometimes it's like we say stuff
- 43:16Speaker 1: to pare each other down, and it's not arguing to
- 43:19Speaker 1: make sure you're right. If you're gonna argue, it's to
- 43:22Speaker 1: get an understand Yeah, a lot of times I want
- 43:25Speaker 1: to make sure you know that I'm right, But no,
- 43:27Speaker 1: we should be argued or having it to make sure
- 43:30Speaker 1: to make sure that you, you know, we get an
- 43:32Speaker 1: understanding of what we're trying to talk about, because at
- 43:34Speaker 1: the end of the day, if you leave the argument
- 43:36Speaker 1: and there is no understanding, you just argue that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 43:41Speaker 1: bunch of them. Yeah yeah. We paid back to it
- 43:45Speaker 1: and started part two. Can I can I ask what's
- 43:49Speaker 1: the song you're saying? After the Open Doors chapter on
- 43:52Speaker 1: stage what is the song It's called It's called I
- 43:55Speaker 1: Love You, and the song starts out, I can't forget
- 43:58Speaker 1: the day that I set you down at the table
- 44:00Speaker 1: and to tell you something so bad that might break you.
- 44:04Speaker 1: The audience are looking at me like he is actually
- 44:07Speaker 1: telling this to us now. So y'all actually had a
- 44:10Speaker 1: jay Z Beyonce gospel version of all right, so let's
- 44:18Speaker 1: get to this. That's funny right there. All right, So
- 44:20Speaker 1: you got the book out, you have the concert Us
- 44:23Speaker 1: Against the World, The Love Project. We can also see
- 44:26Speaker 1: you two together on TV in the TV one movie
- 44:29Speaker 1: Merry wishmus It's a feel good romantic comedy, but your
- 44:33Speaker 1: will your characters be close to what we're used to
- 44:36Speaker 1: sing with you guys, tell us about bas uh. It's
- 44:40Speaker 1: a it's a Christmas movie. It's about forgiveness, which a
- 44:43Speaker 1: lot of times during the holiday season, you know, a
- 44:46Speaker 1: lot of people get real bitter around that time where
- 44:48Speaker 1: it's like, if you made me mad, I'm not going
- 44:50Speaker 1: to deal with you all this because you don't want
- 44:52Speaker 1: to get nobody no Christmas. So we're talking about forgiveness.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Forgiveness and my character in the movie, I'm like a
- 45:02Speaker 1: working holiday where I've gotten about family where I was
- 45:05Speaker 1: mad at my family, and I forgot about love and David. Yes,
- 45:09Speaker 1: it's playing my co actor and I'm her love interest.
- 45:12Speaker 1: But they man, they put some drink. They put handcuffs
- 45:15Speaker 1: on me in this movie. I couldn't say nothing funny
- 45:18Speaker 1: in the movie. I had to play the old movie straight. Really,
- 45:21Speaker 1: I really enjoyed, but I was. I came in one day,
- 45:25Speaker 1: I just fired everybody on the setup and they said,

- 56:15Speaker 1: it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank
- 56:17Speaker 1: you enough you subject Teacher's Pet. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 56:21Speaker 1: a thirty two year old female and I'm a part
- 56:23Speaker 1: time professor at a local university. Teaching is my first
- 56:27Speaker 1: love and I'm hoping to get a full time job
- 56:29Speaker 1: as a professor. But there's one little issue that I
- 56:33Speaker 1: need your advice on. I have a very handsome student
- 56:36Speaker 1: athlete in one of my classes, and he's a golden
- 56:39Speaker 1: tan color, has hazel eyes and the best smile. He
- 56:44Speaker 1: is a beautiful, young man, and he is making me
- 56:47Speaker 1: think about risking it all to spend time with him.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I'm ten years older than him, so he's an adult.
- 56:53Speaker 1: But I could lose my job for dealing with the student.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I think he knows that I am interested in him,
- 56:59Speaker 1: because he all he sits right up front and makes
- 57:01Speaker 1: eye contact with me during my lectures. He always takes
- 57:05Speaker 1: his time to pack up his things at the end
- 57:08Speaker 1: of class, as if he's trying to stay a few
- 57:10Speaker 1: extra minutes in my room. It's getting harder for me
- 57:14Speaker 1: to play it cool. I was nerdy in college and
- 57:17Speaker 1: grad school, so I never had the typical college dating experience.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Being a younger professor, I seem to relate more to
- 57:24Speaker 1: the students than the staff, and I'm lonely. I need
- 57:28Speaker 1: more to my life than just going to work and
- 57:30Speaker 1: coming home alone. I know I won't have much of
- 57:32Speaker 1: a future with this young man, but how about just
- 57:36Speaker 1: having a little fling during the Thanksgiving holidays. He's on
- 57:40Speaker 1: the basketball team, so he's staying in town for practice.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I wouldn't be breaking any laws. What do you think,
- 57:47Speaker 1: Please advise you already know the answer, You already know it.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Don't do this, okay, but you already know when you
- 57:57Speaker 1: wrote in, So okay, we'll humor you all right. You
- 58:00Speaker 1: do not want to do this. You you do not, um,
- 58:03Speaker 1: and why would you risk at all? Why would you
- 58:06Speaker 1: do that that? It just makes no sense. You're smart,
- 58:09Speaker 1: You're a professor, you know better for a fling. You
- 58:13Speaker 1: just said that your part time and you're hoping for
- 58:15Speaker 1: a full time professorship. So um, it just makes no sense. Professor. Um,
- 58:21Speaker 1: You're You're really smarter than this. It definitely sounds like
- 58:25Speaker 1: an attraction is there on both parts. But he he's young,
- 58:29Speaker 1: and is he that fine that you should lose everything?
- 58:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna say no on that one. Um. If all
- 58:36Speaker 1: you do is go to work and go home, then
- 58:38Speaker 1: you need to get out and mingle with some people
- 58:40Speaker 1: your own age that are not your students at your workplace.
- 58:44Speaker 1: You know, you need to meet people, put some effort
- 58:46Speaker 1: into it. I'm sure there's some good men, you know
- 58:49Speaker 1: in the city where you live. Um, Dating a student
- 58:53Speaker 1: can just get you in a world of trouble. You
- 58:55Speaker 1: don't want to do that with this twenty two year old,
- 58:57Speaker 1: uh student and you're thirty two. He's I can't believe
- 59:01Speaker 1: he's that fine. That you would consider risking it all.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Call up a girlfriend, put on something really cute, and
- 59:07Speaker 1: go out. Okay, don't lose your job on this. Fling
- 59:10Speaker 1: on this dude, don't do that, Steve Teacher's pet. I'm
- 59:19Speaker 1: a thirty or two year old female. I'm a part
- 59:23Speaker 1: time professor at the local university. Teaching is my first love,
- 59:28Speaker 1: and I'm hoping to get a full time job as
- 59:30Speaker 1: a professor. But there's a little issue and I need
- 59:34Speaker 1: your advice. So well, let me stop right here and
- 59:36Speaker 1: help you out. Teaching ain't your first love. It's this,
- 59:40Speaker 1: damn boy. This is your first love. It's this damn boy,
- 59:46Speaker 1: So let's quit. Tell me how much you love teaching
- 59:49Speaker 1: hoping to get a full time job. I got a
- 59:54Speaker 1: handsome student athlete in your class. He's Golden tan Cover.
- 59:58Speaker 1: You're in side him up, he got haze allies in
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the best man. He's a beautiful young man. He's making
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: me think about risking it all to spend some time
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: with him. What this boy got you thinking about risking
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: it all to spend some time with him? Are you crazy?
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: All you just said it risk all? Your tenure will
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: be over with as a professor. No, one will hire
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: you when they find out why you was fired. In
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: the school system, no one will ever hire you again.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: It goes on your record. Now, he may be an adult,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: but it's against the rules at the college. I'm sure,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: but you want to risk it all. I'm ten years
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: older than him, so he's an adult. But I couldn't
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: lose my job for dealing with the student. Dude. He
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: won't you now, this is what she goes. I think
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: he knows that I'm interested in him because he always
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: sits right up front and makes eye contact with me
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: doing my lectures. He looking at you because you're lecturing,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you're talking, He looking at you. I made it out
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: contact with Ms Adams, my fourth grade teacher, to try
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to figure out what the hair she was talking about it.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I'm figured if I stare at her, the message might
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: come clear. Mom. Mrs Avans was cute. I couldn't get
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Ms Adams. This boy ain't got no job, got no credit,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: got no money. He's just a damn student athlete. He
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: always takes his time to pack up his things at
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the end of the class, as if he's trying to
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: stay a few extra minutes in my room. It's getting
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: harder for me to play it cool. See, I was
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: nerdy in college and in grad school, so I never
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: had the typical college dating experience. Being a younger professor,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I seem to relate more to the students than to
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: stay and I'm lonely. I need more to my life
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: than just going to work and coming home alone. Don't
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you get have grown as man? M See, if you
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: just want to have a fleeing, why have a fleeing
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: with somebody that can cost you everything. Just go have
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: a fleeing, but don't rest. Don't mess your life up
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: for no fleeing. But how how about just having a
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: little fleeing doing the Thanksgiving holiday? He owned the basketball team,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: so he's staying in town for practice. Gonna lose your
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: damn career messing with this little pretty ass boy that
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: don't want you, And now you ain't gonna have no job,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: no future, or no career because you slept with the
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: damn boy. Man. Bye, in the words of my wife,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Felicia bye, or by Felicia whatever she said. Felicia alright, bye,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Felicia alright. Look, we're gonna have part two of your
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour. Today's
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters, subject teacher's pet. Right after this you're listening
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: to show, all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: strawberry letters. Recap nothing. Lady fit to throw her whole
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: damn career out the window. She want to screw this
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: little boy to play on the basketball team. That's what
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: it is. That's all this is. She wants screw the
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: little boy on the basketball team, and she wants to
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: do with it. Thank give it. She got it all
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: worked out, she got hurt, the dinner worked out. You
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: know exactly what I won't on my plate his young
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: chan color or hazel color eyes, pretty smile. I was
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: nerdy in college, in glad school, so I didn't get
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the dating experience. You don't have it. Now, gonna risk
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: everything with a board of don't, ain't gonna spend no
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: time with You might not even want your old ass,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: because see, when you're twenty, you think thirty two old
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: not sitting up being here with your crazy self. And
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you've read this hill like, ain't nobody in town here
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: in this damn letter, But you now everybody isn't here.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Know the boy that play on the basketball team sit
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: on the front road with the hazel eyes and light
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: skilled and you know, brought your nutting ass in here
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: and wrote a letter about it. Every you know, Professor
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Friends is listening to this brand letter right now. You know, girl,

- 1:05:25Speaker 1: with ty Refus. Girl. Have you seen Tyrifu's daddy. What's
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: his name? What's his name? Cli Refus? World clear clef girl,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: bother cli Refus came this turn that game had that
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: T shirt on. Girl. That man looks slave strong. God. Yeah,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna doing together. I'm gonna get
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: the dean to go sit in the back of the
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: class and see what this happened doing they might be
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: seeing each other. That's why we don't won the game
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: with the story. Gonna get deep this. She didn't set
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: up here and put it on this little board where
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: he can't make a basket. I'm gonna call Tyrifus mom,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: That's what I wanted. I'm gonna call Tyrifus ma. I'm
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: gonna call ty Refus mom. You know, ty Refus mama.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: What's her name, Quinteller. I'm gonna call Tyfus mama, Quinteller,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and I'm gonna tell her what this hell for down
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: here doing. And you know, his mama crazy because she
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: came came into the game one time she was high
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: m hm m hm. You want to straight up and
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: asked his mama to leave. She failed down the bleachers.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Who she was, good man, this ladder lady did not
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: sleep with this boy. Find you somebody grown. If you
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: just want to have a fleeing, have a fleeing somewhere.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: That's not gonna cause you to risk everything. You can't
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: risk everything for a fleeing. And that's the problem because
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: she thinks, because she's young, she relates to the students more,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: she says than the staff. Well, go go screw one
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: of the kids at the other school. I don't say that.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Go to the basketball game and find another pretty basketball
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: player on the other game. It's still gonna get the district. Yeah,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: but she don't go to that school. Yeah, you can
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: do that, you know, but it's still risk the attitude. Yeah,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: right there it ain't that me that hayes a lot
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: of players on basketball. Yeah, but have you seen that
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: dog skin ball over that John Tavius jus, Girl, what
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: does that look like? Girl? You're talking about? Jump out

- 1:08:19Speaker 1: He had on some shots. Girl. You can see like
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's on that jump something. Girl, that boy had
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: legs on when he jumped. I was standing down. I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: was on the front row. You can look straight up
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: his girl. Really, it wasn't enough jockey strength, John Tavius.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: If you're gonna lose your job jumping John Tavius, Now
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you want to play for tech girl jumping and Tyrefius
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: pretty Tyreefu and why refu cleanse something? Cliffs and Quintella
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: was the mama and quintin clif and ty refish. But
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: jump at John Tavis and John Tavis. Daddy, what's this guy? Harold? Harold,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: just make a simple just harol hel hell, ain't crying.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I love I love it. You're talking. That's the nickname.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I say, date someone closer to her own age. Please
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: lead ty Refius some and the quint telephone find out
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: if his mom his Mama Quintella, keep up. Clive Refus
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: is his daddy. Quintella is the mama. T Refus is
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: the pretty boy that she want to sleep with. But
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I'm suggesting go over there to Tech and get your
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: hands on John Tavia jumping Javi jumping John Tavins. And
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: if you can't get John Tavis, Harold. His daddy's name
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: is Harold, don't forget girl. All right, we gotta get
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: out of here. Guys, we're gonna jump out of here
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: with John. Please email us her Instagram. That's your thoughts
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry letter at Steve Harvey f M. Coming
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: up in about ten minutes. Our girl from the Talk
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: will be here Cheryl Underwood right after this. You're listening
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, please introduce our
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: girl from the Talk. He's a gentleman. Put your hands together.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Quit playing in bull crap, Shell Underwood. So we need
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to get these souls to the polls, brothers, it ain't over,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: It ain't Oh, he looked, don't fall for the comb
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: over commander and t tooke and lie all he wants,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: but we've got to get the Democrats. I'm a Republican,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: and I'm telling you we got the vote like our
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: life depends on it, because it does. Voter suppression is real.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: But anytime they got to court, see the court in
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Georgia went on our side and told them to stop
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: removing people from the register. That's how the courts work.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: But if they can control the court. Right now, in
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the United States of America, President Trump controls all three branches,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: the executive branch, the judicial branch, and he controls the
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: legislative branch. That is a dictated ship and that cannot
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: say in the leader of the free world. We have
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: got to push this back. Now people say, well, it's
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: not enough people voting. His base is fired up. Our
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: base is fired up too. When you got a situation
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: where almost nine to eleven million people have already voted early,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: it's not over. If you have the ability to fill
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: out your ballot, then deep and find it, put fote
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: five stamps on it, walk into the post office yourself.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Then if you can early vote, do it and then
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: go five t D. We have got to do this.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you as a Republican what their plan is.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: If he can keep the Senate, he will keep controlling judges,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: and those judges get the experience. So when somebody else
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: dies or retires on the Supreme Court, he gets the
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: lockdown the Supreme Court. So anything he do, they're gonna
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: rubber stamping. So you're saying, well, what do you mean,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: sirl when they're talking about the fourteenth Amendment. Let let's
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: explain something to you about what they're gonna do with
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: the fourteenth Amendment. Now y'all know Shirley Tommy Jr. See
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: and what they were talking about with the fourteenth Amendment
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: which gave us citizenship. So you kidnapped us from the motherland.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: You enslaved us, So you passed laws that enslaved up.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: So when you remedy that infraction and you said, okay,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: now that we brought you here, whoever your children are
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: become citizens, I bet you they're gonna argue that, well,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: that was a government or a federal infraction. But an
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: individual who breaks the law and come here does not
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: have Fourteenth Amendment coverage. Watch how they gonna do it.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: This is going to do it. And it's what he
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: ran on. If we go back to that, ain't nobody
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: gonna be left? No? Father wasn't immigrant? Well, if he
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: came here as he had you, why your birthright you
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: get taken away? Explain it to me, Mr x E,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Plain it to me, Mr Senator, Mr Governor. Everybody here
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: an immigrant somewhere else. Now y'all know the story of
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: his mama. Mama came, He came with the dollars in
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: a pocket. She got the Endis Island like everybody else else.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Then she got a job working in the Cornege house.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: She was a maid in the house. She met the
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: daddy at a cocktail party and they got married. And listen,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I ain't speaking against this dude, Ericas. What I'm saying is,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: if you know the truth about the Trump then you
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: will understand what this is all about. Don't let them
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: play this racism card. Don't let them use bird worst.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Don't let the Democratic Party take us for granted. We
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: have got to stand up. We are the solid voting
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: block that they got as black people, especially black women.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: So it is not too late for the Democratic Party
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: to start putting add on black radio and in black newspapers.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: They have gotten that money and take it to the street.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: If you don't, we're gonna lose. And you know what
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: that's gonna do. That's gonna make everybody despondent and say,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: we cannot win in but we can win. First, take
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: over the House. Take the House, make it a battle
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: ground for them in the Senate, make it so close
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: that that, yeah, they may have fifty one, we may
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: have forty nine. That's the way to sen it, but
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: we gotta make it hard for them. Stop giving up.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: And the Democrats need a strategy. The Republicans already and
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: we have to do what they do a good old
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: fashioned Now, can y'all beat this? Can y'all beat this?
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Because I'm gonna fashion as whip at the poles. That's
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: that's the that's the dropped souls to the post. That's
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: what you got, you got. I'm very proud to say
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: that everyone on the Steve Harvey Morning Show has voted early,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: voted last. That's right. And now what they need they
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: need our voices on robo calls. They need us to
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: get with these churches and Greek letter organizations and community
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: service groups. We got to go twenty five deep because
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: you know what they're doing. They move in Poland places,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: they change in time so they can with you. But
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: we got to do it. The way we did it
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: in the past. That's how we let Preston Obama win
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: because we gave him five dollars five dollars and kill
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: you this show do so probably everything. And let me
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: say that nobody care we're being called to talk about
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: he sleep, he sleep? Yeah, Oh listen to me, my lord,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Alma rosa and already left so Lyric, they ain't putting
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: me out of nothing. And let's say something else. Kanye
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: got enough bag gonna sin to say he'd been played.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Then we go that no nigros that's trying to go
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: up this situation and lead us and break us apart.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Because if you ain't with us, you against him. That's
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: what it is. We gotta lead it on that note. Girl, alright,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: champ Chip, Yeah, we'll have Cheryl. That's right, alright, Cheryl,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: thank you as always. We love you, girl. Alright, alright,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: play five The Power that we don't won't know going
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: dang alright, coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: I think I heard that Pimpin was in the building
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: What is that? I here, wait a minute, come on, right,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: oh you know what that means, don't you, oh, hold on,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: hold on, move your shoulders, move your shoulders up and down.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: When Dick, when you hear that, you got them going
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: up and down? What you doing? It was that? It
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: was that E was somebody hey, pimping, you having pimp
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: It's Thursday pimping. It's it's pimp day, you know, Wednesday,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: hump day, day to day for the weekend. It was
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: some ship, Hello, pimping. It's good to see you on
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: a Thursday. I know it is. It was up junior
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: man pimp. But I set up in my seat I
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: heard you coming. Was that it was up timing pep.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Go ahead, everybody, y'all see
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: what I got on the day for? What is that? See?
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I know what you're thinking. You think of sequence, don't you? Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: What is that? I had this made last New Year's Eve?
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Uh huh? See this just a regular coat. Yeah, but
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I pass spray all on it. Uhuh. And when the
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: confetti dropped on New Year's Eve, stood down and that's
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: that's old confetic, old confetti. But it's a new jacket
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I got. You know, it's kind of like your wedding.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: You know. Some old, some news sometimes something. Yeah, I
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: don't know what it be. I ain't no man before
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: it's too much of me to getting mad. Back and

- 1:20:42Speaker 1: do that, Pepper? Do what argue with women? You don't
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: with women? For what you know? Ague with women? You

- 1:27:30Speaker 1: you know he's sensitive. Damn. I ain't never seen nobody
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: come disrespectful. I mean like that. You must want to
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: get back hand with all the rains and get up.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: You're gonna get cuffed up. You're not gonna hit me now,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: I ain't gonna do it. But I got somebody already.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: I expect everything else. You ain't never I ain't got
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: to hit nobody. I ain't that type of pimp exactly exactly.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Pimp that ain't not damn what is wrong with him?
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: You know? You know what you want to you know what?
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: That's what this is sherely. This is jealousy. I've seen
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: it a whole lot of times before. Jet. Let's see
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: little Man Central, I wanna be tall, ain't tall enough
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: to be a pimp. So now he he come. You're
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: trying to tell me, pimp gotta height limit, that's what
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: you're saying. Well, yeah, yeah, because y'all, lewis School of hate.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Manuel Lewis Academy for hate. All right, Pepper, we gotta go.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Thank you. Huh. This is what it sounds like when
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: pimps cry, we'll be back with more. They want to
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: show right after this. So you're listening, Steven show, it's countdown.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: And I'll tell you, Steve, I don't worry, you know,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: because I pray. And if you know, if you worry,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: don't pray. And if you pray, don't worry, you know
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: that saying. But I'm concerned, though, I'm concerned. Remember I
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: told you earlier when I went to a vote early
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: on Monday, that young lady shook me because she didn't
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: know I was shogged. She didn't know when voting the
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: date was and what we were voting for and all that.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: I was like, hey, now listen, listen, are we getting
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: through to people or what's happen. Here's a deal. I
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: know some really cool Republicans. I know some really cool
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: conservative people. I know some really cool Democrats. I know
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: some really cool liberal people. I know a lot of
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: really cool people who vote differently than me, but they're nice,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: well meaning people. What we have to do right now,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: and my concern is it's okay that a person feels
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: differently of views, are a subject a little bit different
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: than you. That's what makes the world go around. We're
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: not gonna all agree on everything, but we have to
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: have a balance. We have to have a balance between
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: the right and the left. It cannot be all right
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: because if it goes all right, it will not service
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: the masses. And it is everybody's country. It's the Democrats
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: country and the Republicans country. It's the conservatives country, and
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: it's the liberals country. And this country has to be
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: done where it's services both. It cannot be this is
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: our way or the highway, because that doesn't work for
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: the masses. And we need a balance. The only way
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: to get a balance is to vote. And I'm telling y'all, man,
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: they know how important we are. That's why they try
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: to suppress our voting. That's why they try to do
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: everything they can. Man machines out of order, pose clothes
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: and make it difficult. See. They know if they make
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: it difficult for people who are struggling financially, that it
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: discourages them rather quickly. They know if they make it
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: difficult for you to get off your job you can't
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: afford to do that, you might not vote. They know
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: if they make it difficult where you have to come
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: back again or go home and get some paperwork, that
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: you're gonna just gonna go back to work because you
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: can't miss your money. They know all of this. We
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: have got to get to the polls to do early voting.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: We've got to get to the polls. If if you
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: still got time to turn in any absentee ballots, and
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: if that don't work, I don't care what happens on
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: this Tuesday, November six. You have got to go to
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: the polls and vote for a balance. So this man
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: who is the forty five president to just not get
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: to do and say anything he want to do and
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: say that's not representative of how you feel. We have
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: got to vote. Wow, Steve well Um, thank you for
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: that coming up our last break of the day. We'll
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: be back with Steve's closing remarks. You're listening to all right, Steve.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day on this Thursday.
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: It's been a good day. Yeah, it has. On a
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: personal level, everybody experiences what I'm about to talk about.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Everybody has some form of it. It could be in
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: a relationship, a loving relationship, a sexual relationship. It could
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: be in uh, you know, a job relationship. It could
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: be in a coworker relationship. It could just be anything, man,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: it could be anything at all. So let's let's talk
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: about it. Let's let's let's talk about this for a minute,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: because here's what I want you all to think about it.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: And uh, somebody sent this to me who works at
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: the radio station, donned young lady that's in charge about
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: social media. It's it's a post board and and it
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: really got me to thinking because it's so true. Life
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: is too short to be waiting on somebody to act right.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: M hm hm. Touched the nerve, touch the nerve. Life
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: is too short to be waiting on somebody to act right.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: You know, Uh, the clock is ticking and I don't
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: know if you know that man, But time just time
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: flies by some time, especially if you have a job
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: that you don't mind going to, that you enjoy, if
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: you if you're working in your life's ambition, if you're
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: following your dreams, if you're chasing your dreams, if you're
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: pursuing something of value. You know, this time has a
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: tendency to get away from a little bit, you know
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: what I mean. And it's like, uh, you know, man,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: you go along and you go, wow, okay, cool man,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: we gotta get it together, but we just keep running
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: out of daylight and all of this right here, and
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: it just gets to a point where you just realized, Man,
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: life kind of gets away from you a little bit.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: So you gotta start thinking, man, life is too short
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: to be waiting on somebody to act right. And I'm
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: not just talking about in a in a in a
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: in a relationship like you married or something like that,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: which is another one. But my goodness, man, I don't
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: really have time for that. I don't have time for
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: you to act right. I would rather surround my people
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: who act like me. I would rather surround myself with
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: people who add value to my life instead of subtracting
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: from my life. If you've got somebody in your life
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: that's always taking and never giving, you're probably waiting on
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: them to act right. If you got a person that's
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: always getting something from you and never say thank you,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: life is too short to be waiting on somebody to
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: act right. You in a relationship with a person who constantly,
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: and I mean constantly, does you wrong repeatedly, and you
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: keep expecting them to change their behavior, and there don't.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? Man? You know they say that
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: and expecting a different result. It's insane for us to
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: continue to wait on somebody to act right when, first
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: of all, you can't make nobody act right. You can't
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: change nobody that don't want to be changed. So we
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: keep getting back to this plaque that I got set
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: that said life is too short to be waiting on
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: somebody to act right. I've done it before. I've I've
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: done it with employees, I've done it with associates, I've
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: done it in relationships. I've done it with my children.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: I mean, man, just sitting around waiting on my children
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: to get it. I taught it to him. But I'm
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: waiting on them to get it, and I got tired
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: of it, and I told him one time, I said, hey,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: I'm done. I'm done trying to get you to understand
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: my position. I'm done trying to get you to move
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: on and let's just have a great life together. I'm
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: tired of you bringing up issues. I don't let people
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: do that to me no more. You stop bringing up
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: issues from the past. We've all changed, grow up, move
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: on now. If you want to step back there, you
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: want to hang onto something in the past so you
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: can keep talking about how it is where you are
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: going to be miserable. But life is too short for
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: me to be waiting on you to act right. So
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: now here I am over here. This is the way
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: I am. If you want some of his love, some
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: of this guidance, some of this understanding, some of this leadership,
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: you need some occasional help, I'm here. But if you
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: want to keep dragging me over the colds about an
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: issue that you can't get past, I'm sorry. I'm no
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: longer available for you. I'm sorry that you can't get
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: past it. I'm sorry that it has bothered you for
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: a number of years. My apologies, but obviously my apologies
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: ain't good enough. Have you ever had that happen to you?
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: Have you ever found yourself apologizing to somebody over and
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: over for the same thing because they just can't seem
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: to get past it. Life is too short to be
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: waiting on somebody to act right. And I look up, man,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: and I just decided, Man, I ain't doing it no more.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: I'm just not gonna do it no more. I'm sorry
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: if I've offended you, if I hurt you, and I'm
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: mad enough to apologize, I expect you to be mad
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: enough or woman enough to accept it. You don't have
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: to forget it. I'm just saying I'm sorry, and I'm
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: asking for your forgiveness. But if you ain't in a
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: forgiving move, I'm gonna take it to God. I'm gonna
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: ask God to forgive me, because he will, and then
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: I'm moving on me. And you ain't got to talk
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: no more. You can't get past it. I understand, But
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: but my daddy always said, you're gonna either get over
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: it or you're gonna die mad. Now, if you choose
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: to die mad, you stay over there and let let
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: you lead his world. Man, I'm moving on. Life is
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: too short. To be waiting on somebody to act right
