Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:05Speaker 2: you and Senator there is a viral video of a
- 0:09Speaker 2: invasion selling word I know to use it at the
- 0:12Speaker 2: southern border that now everyone is seeing of illegal immigrants
- 0:16Speaker 2: breaking through razor wire.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Well, that's right.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Every day and every week the border crisis continues to
- 0:22Speaker 4: get worse and worse and worse. We now have video
- 0:25Speaker 4: of hundreds of illegal immigrants storming the National Guard, pushing
- 0:29Speaker 4: them aside, pushing them down. It is an active and
- 0:32Speaker 4: aggressive invasion. On top of that, we now have congressional
- 0:36Speaker 4: testimony that the human traffickers, the Mexican drug cartels, have
- 0:40Speaker 4: an air force twenty five thousand drones. We're going to
- 0:45Speaker 4: get into all of that. We're also going to talk
- 0:47Speaker 4: about the New York Attorney General's jihad against Donald Trump,
- 0:51Speaker 4: her absurd efforts to try to collect a half billion
- 0:56Speaker 4: dollars from Trump and now to do so and to
- 1:00Speaker 4: deny him the right to appeal. It's an absolute travesty.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And finally, we're going to talk about an investigation that
- 1:08Speaker 4: has been opened in the House of Representatives as to
- 1:10Speaker 4: whether the IRS is using artificial intelligence to surveil you
- 1:15Speaker 4: to go after your personal and private financial information.

- 2:53Speaker 2: I want everybody to go that hasn't already seen this
- 2:55Speaker 2: video that's gone viral. The only way I can describe
- 2:58Speaker 2: it as an invasion of our southern border. And the
- 3:00Speaker 2: worst part is you can clearly tell that the people
- 3:02Speaker 2: that are on the American side in uniform don't have
- 3:06Speaker 2: the ability from our government to stand their ground and
- 3:09Speaker 2: fight back as they are overrun by illegal immigrants that
- 3:12Speaker 2: come through a very clear barrier invading America. If you
- 3:17Speaker 2: haven't seen the video, go look at it to on
- 3:18Speaker 2: mynd social media.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It's on yours.
- 3:20Speaker 2: But when you saw this center, I mean, this is
- 3:22Speaker 2: all encompassing of just how bad the problem is.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Right now, that's exactly right, Ben, what happened this week
- 3:29Speaker 4: in our Passa. We had over one hundred illegal immigrants who.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Not broke through.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Razor wire that the state of Texas had erected, and
- 3:37Speaker 4: you had National guardsmen that were standing there guarding it,
- 3:40Speaker 4: trying to secure our border, and and just this mob.
- 3:44Speaker 4: They were simply outnumbered, and it was a mass that
- 3:47Speaker 4: just runs over them, is knocking them down, and it's
- 3:52Speaker 4: it's a surge that is happening. That is I don't
- 3:57Speaker 4: know what you call it other than an invasion. That's
- 3:59Speaker 4: what this is. And the infuriating thing is this is
- 4:04Speaker 4: what Joe Biden and congressional Democrats want to have happen.
- 4:09Speaker 4: And you watch this video. You see the National guardsmen
- 4:13Speaker 4: trying to put their hands up, trying to hold them back,
- 4:16Speaker 4: but there's simply too many of them, and they overwhelmed
- 4:19Speaker 4: them with their mass coming into this country. And this
- 4:23Speaker 4: is happening. As I said, it keeps getting worse and
- 4:26Speaker 4: worse and worse. El Paso's migrant dashboard showed that on Thursday,
- 4:36Speaker 4: seven hundred and forty three people had been released from
- 4:39Speaker 4: custody and into the United States. That's on Thursday in
- 4:42Speaker 4: El Paso, seven hundred and forty three. It also showed
- 4:46Speaker 4: between two thousand and two thousand, five hundred people held
- 4:50Speaker 4: in border control custody each and every night. This is
- 4:54Speaker 4: in one city on the border, and that same thing
- 4:57Speaker 4: is happening all across the two thousand miles of our
- 5:01Speaker 4: southern border.
- 5:02Speaker 2: This is I think a psychological thing now too. And
- 5:06Speaker 2: I want to talk to you about this because you
- 5:08Speaker 2: know when younger people started these flash mobs and stores
- 5:11Speaker 2: and they realize, Hey, no one's going to stop us
- 5:14Speaker 2: in San Francisco, or in Baltimore and Washington, DC, or
- 5:17Speaker 2: New York City. We can just get into large groups
- 5:20Speaker 2: and we're going to win because no one's going to
- 5:23Speaker 2: arrest us. You look at these illegal immigrants, and I
- 5:26Speaker 2: think it's very clear they figured it out. This president,
- 5:29Speaker 2: the United States of America is not trying to stop you.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And you can control the border and do whatever you
- 5:35Speaker 2: want to do. Who's going to stop you?
- 5:38Speaker 4: Look that that is exactly right. And it's not even
- 5:40Speaker 4: that this president's not going to stop you. He's going
- 5:43Speaker 4: to help you. He wants them to come illegally. He
- 5:46Speaker 4: looks at every one of them and sees, there's another
- 5:49Speaker 4: Democrat voter. There's another Democrat voter, there's another Democrat vote.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Let's be clear, Joe Biden wants to flip the state
- 5:55Speaker 4: of Texas right now to be a blue state. He
- 5:58Speaker 4: wants to flip every eight right now to be a
- 6:01Speaker 4: blue state. And so he is happy for as many
- 6:04Speaker 4: of these people who are coming illegally to vote illegally
- 6:06Speaker 4: as possible, and even if they don't, he's confident that
- 6:10Speaker 4: in time, if the Democrats ever get control, they will
- 6:14Speaker 4: grant amnesty and voting rights to all of these illegals.
- 6:18Speaker 4: And Biden assumes, and I don't think his assumption is crazy,
- 6:22Speaker 4: that these illegal immigrants are going to vote for other
- 6:25Speaker 4: Democrats to continue the open border.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You combine this story, and I do think it's it's
- 6:30Speaker 2: it reminds me of those flashpoint moments, and unfortunately, we're
- 6:35Speaker 2: seeing these center I think more and more often, those
- 6:37Speaker 2: illegal immigrants that attacked the men in New York City
- 6:42Speaker 2: and got released from jail, and we're flicking off really
- 6:45Speaker 2: not just the cameras, they're flicking off.
- 6:47Speaker 4: America, and the whole world sees there's no consequence to it.
- 6:50Speaker 4: That New York City, you beat up cops, they let
- 6:53Speaker 4: you go. Bail, no cash, no bail. Hey you know.
- 6:56Speaker 4: I mean, look, I don't know. If you're a New
- 6:59Speaker 4: York cop had how do you keep doing your job?
- 7:01Speaker 4: And look the Border patrol agents. I mean when I
- 7:04Speaker 4: talk to Border Patrol agents, when I talk to New
- 7:06Speaker 4: York cops, I make a point to thank them and
- 7:09Speaker 4: tell them we're grateful for what they're doing, because there
- 7:12Speaker 4: is a heroism and a patriotism to do your job
- 7:17Speaker 4: in the face of political imbeciles who make it almost
- 7:21Speaker 4: impossible for you to do your job.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And see, I worry too that the Biden administration and
- 7:27Speaker 2: the Department of Homeland Security and my orcas are probably
- 7:30Speaker 2: not that upset with what just happened, because what they're
- 7:33Speaker 2: going to see from this is, Hey, they figured it
- 7:36Speaker 2: out how to beat Texas because they're at Warwick, Texas
- 7:39Speaker 2: at the same time, are they not?
- 7:41Speaker 3: Sadly they are Joe Biden.
- 7:43Speaker 4: And this is true of just about every Democrat in
- 7:46Speaker 4: the Senate, just about every Democrat in the House.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Given a choice between where do you side.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Do you side with illegal immigrants, do you side with
- 7:54Speaker 4: the violent criminals they're being released into this country, or
- 7:56Speaker 4: do you side with the American people who are being
- 8:00Speaker 4: the victims of crimes at the hands of this invading mob.
- 8:05Speaker 4: The Democrats have made the decision where with the cartels?
- 8:08Speaker 4: Where with the mob? And this White House is furious
- 8:12Speaker 4: that Texas is fighting back.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You combine this story and this is more of a
- 8:18Speaker 2: I think, a symbolic moment with this other shocking testimony.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Air Force general has come forward before Congress and revealed
- 8:26Speaker 2: an alarming number of drones crossing into the US airspace
- 8:30Speaker 2: at the southern border. It's an air Force. This came
- 8:34Speaker 2: up during a hearing with one of your colleagues, Senator
- 8:37Speaker 2: Ted Budd who is a freshman senator who is there
- 8:41Speaker 2: asking basic questions about what's going on with all these
- 8:44Speaker 2: drones coming across the southern border. I want to play
- 8:47Speaker 2: this and then get your reaction.
- 8:48Speaker 5: It's my understanding there's been a lot of drone incursions
- 8:51Speaker 5: along our southern border. How many drone incursions have we
- 8:56Speaker 5: had and what are they doing? Senator? The number of
- 9:01Speaker 5: incursions was something that was alarming to me as as
- 9:04Speaker 5: I took command last month. I don't know the actual number.
- 9:09Speaker 5: I don't think any of it's in the thousands. I
- 9:11Speaker 5: have talked to Customs and Border Protection, who are responsible
- 9:15Speaker 5: for the uas incursions and in the border along with
- 9:21Speaker 5: dj and they put the number at thousands. Over what
- 9:26Speaker 5: period of time is that thousands? I would say in
- 9:29Speaker 5: the probably over a month. We could probably have over
- 9:33Speaker 5: a thousand a month. General, Do they, in your view
- 9:37Speaker 5: represent homeland defense threat?
- 9:40Speaker 3: Senator?
- 9:41Speaker 5: They alarmed me from the being the person responsible for
- 9:46Speaker 5: homeland defense. I haven't seen any of them manifest in
- 9:49Speaker 5: a threat to the level of national defense. But I
- 9:51Speaker 5: see the potential only growing.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I see the potential only growing. You dig into this
- 10:00Speaker 2: a little bit more, and this has obviously been something
- 10:03Speaker 2: that they didn't want to get out.
- 10:04Speaker 1: They didn't want us to know about this.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And then an article comes out in the New York
- 10:09Speaker 2: Post about other testimony that's already happened. They've got a
- 10:13Speaker 2: whole damn air force down there at the southern border,
- 10:16Speaker 2: and this is the cartels that have this.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Well, that's right.
- 10:20Speaker 4: So that was the testimony of Air Force General Gregory Guillot,
- 10:23Speaker 4: who is the commander of Norad, so a very senior
- 10:26Speaker 4: Air Force general. He's just taken over the command of
- 10:30Speaker 4: Norrad and also US Northern Command, and he's looking at
- 10:35Speaker 4: the number that is coming in. He just testified over
- 10:39Speaker 4: one thousand a month, and we likewise had last month
- 10:43Speaker 4: testimony from the Rio Grand Valley sector chief Border Patrol
- 10:47Speaker 4: Agent Gloria Chavez, who told the House Oversight Committee that
- 10:53Speaker 4: in her sector alone, So this is just the Rio
- 10:56Speaker 4: Grand Valley sector, there head in more than ten thousand
- 11:03Speaker 4: drone incursions and more than twenty five thousand drone sightings
- 11:09Speaker 4: in the last year. Now think about that for a second.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Twenty five thousand drone sightings in a year. That's in
- 11:18Speaker 4: one sector in the Rio Grand Valley. We've got testimonies
- 11:22Speaker 4: the cartels. You said they have an air force. That's
- 11:26Speaker 4: not hyperbole. You are looking at thousands, if not tens
- 11:30Speaker 4: of thousands of drones. Now right now, they're principally using
- 11:34Speaker 4: these drones for surveillance. They're going over, they're seeing where
- 11:37Speaker 4: the Border Patrol agents are. And by the way, I've
- 11:40Speaker 4: been out on the boats with the Border Patrol and
- 11:44Speaker 4: the Rio Grand River and they carry with them guns
- 11:47Speaker 4: to shoot down the drones. But it's very hard to
- 11:50Speaker 4: shoot down a drone. And when you've got thousands upon thousands,
- 11:52Speaker 4: they're simply is not enough to take down the number
- 11:56Speaker 4: of drones they're able to just send them, and they
- 11:59Speaker 4: base have not only do they have operational control of
- 12:04Speaker 4: our southern border. And understand, this is very much like
- 12:07Speaker 4: like like like military warfare. Nobody crosses the border without
- 12:14Speaker 4: the cartels taking them across. And and literally, if you're
- 12:16Speaker 4: down in Mexico and you decide, hey, I'm just going
- 12:19Speaker 4: to try to swim the river come across, they will
- 12:21Speaker 4: kill you right like it is. You are taking your
- 12:24Speaker 4: life in your own hands if you try to cross
- 12:26Speaker 4: without them. So they have complete operational control south of
- 12:30Speaker 4: the border. And now with their air force of drones,
- 12:34Speaker 4: they have surveillance north of the border. And and and
- 12:38Speaker 4: Joe Biden and the Democrats are happily just facilitating this,
- 12:43Speaker 4: doing nothing to stop it. And and and as the
- 12:47Speaker 4: General testified the head of Norad, right now, they're using
- 12:50Speaker 4: these drones for surveillance, but what's to stop them from
- 12:54Speaker 4: using them for for direct hostile activity. We are literally
- 13:02Speaker 4: being invaded by multi billion dollar global criminal cartels on
- 13:08Speaker 4: a daily basis.
- 13:09Speaker 2: You look at this drone and we hear the word drone,
- 13:13Speaker 2: and we think, okay, fun little object you fly around,
- 13:16Speaker 2: take pictures. We see them when you sell your house
- 13:19Speaker 2: and they come out and they take drone shots of
- 13:21Speaker 2: your home and everything else to show your lot in
- 13:23Speaker 2: your backyard.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You gotta I.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Think some people may not understand the sophistication of these
- 13:30Speaker 2: drones for surveillance, for moving drugs fetanyl. The number one
- 13:34Speaker 2: killer people forty nine under in this country is fetnyl overdoses,
- 13:38Speaker 2: the human smuggling, the sex trafficking, and also, I mean
- 13:43Speaker 2: drones are being used in warfare in the Middle East.
- 13:46Speaker 2: A lot of our soldiers are being attacked by drones.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Now it's a new way to attack. We're seeing an Afghant,
- 13:53Speaker 2: We're seeing it also in Ukraine and Russia, where drone
- 13:56Speaker 2: attacks are are very It's a very big new technology
- 14:01Speaker 2: in warfare. And that's the reason why I think we
- 14:04Speaker 2: need people to understand how serious it is to have
- 14:07Speaker 2: an army of this many drones that you can be
- 14:09Speaker 2: using for this many nefarious reasons.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Well, look, that's absolutely right.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Drones today are used regularly as a weapon of war.
- 14:20Speaker 4: They're used for surveillance. They can be very effective for surveillance.
- 14:23Speaker 4: They're also used and you rightly noted another way the
- 14:26Speaker 4: cartels are using it right now, which is to transport
- 14:28Speaker 4: drugs that you can put fetanol, you can put meth,
- 14:31Speaker 4: you can put cocaine or heroine. You can put it
- 14:35Speaker 4: on a drone, use the drone to fly across the
- 14:37Speaker 4: river and then to land to go to someone from
- 14:41Speaker 4: the cartel that is in the United States to receive
- 14:44Speaker 4: those drugs. And so the cartels are using that as
- 14:46Speaker 4: well as a means of drug delivery. But there's also
- 14:50Speaker 4: on top of that, they can be used as an
- 14:52Speaker 4: offensive weapon.
- 14:53Speaker 3: They can be used.
- 14:54Speaker 4: We see drones in combat theaters that have weapons mounted
- 14:58Speaker 4: on them. We see drones. Drones can also will be
- 15:00Speaker 4: used to spread a biological agent, a chemical agent. And
- 15:05Speaker 4: there's a reason that the commander of NORAD said, this
- 15:08Speaker 4: is very alarming. When you're dealing with thousands and thousands
- 15:10Speaker 4: of drones routinely coming across our border. It only takes
- 15:15Speaker 4: one that is manned by a terrorist to potentially murder
- 15:21Speaker 4: people on the American side of the border. And the
- 15:26Speaker 4: point is, under Joe Biden, we're not even trying to
- 15:30Speaker 4: stop this. The federal government is not trying to prevent
- 15:33Speaker 4: these drone incursions. They're simply saying, much as they did
- 15:37Speaker 4: with the Chinese by balloons, they're simply saying if you
- 15:41Speaker 4: want to invade us, hey, come on in.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And not only that, if you want to just rush
- 15:46Speaker 2: the border with a couple hundred people, go ahead and
- 15:49Speaker 2: do that. We will not give the authority for America
- 15:51Speaker 2: to protect and defend its borders there either. Let me
- 15:54Speaker 2: talk to you about your retirement for a moment. Is
- 15:56Speaker 2: the money you've been saving for retirement going to be enough?
- 15:59Speaker 2: That's a big question. Well, with inflation still well above
- 16:03Speaker 2: the Fed's target rate and consumer prices much higher than
- 16:06Speaker 2: they were three years ago, you need a financial plan
- 16:09Speaker 2: that ensures the money that you save today will be
- 16:12Speaker 2: enough for you tomorrow. And that is where gold and
- 16:16Speaker 2: silver come in. In fact, gold just hit a new record high.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Gold and silver have historically been good hedges against inflation
- 16:23Speaker 2: and a great way to protect your hard earned retirement funds. Yes, protection,
- 16:28Speaker 2: and when it comes to buying gold and silver, you
- 16:30Speaker 2: need a trusted partner. And that's why I want you
- 16:33Speaker 2: to reach out to Freedom Gold USA. Freedom Gold USA
- 16:36Speaker 2: is all about educating their clients on how to invest

- 16:50Speaker 2: less than most major gold and silver firms. Let me
- 16:53Speaker 2: say that again, on average, they charge twenty five to
- 16:56Speaker 2: thirty percent less than most major gold and silver firms
- 17:00Speaker 2: out there.
- 17:00Speaker 1: So take control of your financial future.

- 17:24Speaker 2: eight hundred sixty five five eight eight four to three.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Sentater.
- 17:28Speaker 2: You mentioned something in the last statement that you made
- 17:32Speaker 2: that I want you to expand on a little bit here,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and that is you have this official testimony to Congress.
- 17:39Speaker 2: It's one thousand plus drones a month. You go back
- 17:42Speaker 2: to that article that you read earlier with the with
- 17:45Speaker 2: the testimony on the House side saying they've got basically
- 17:48Speaker 2: an air force, and not only do they have an
- 17:51Speaker 2: air force, but it's one that is the quote. The
- 17:54Speaker 2: adversaries have seventeen times the number of drones, twice the
- 17:57Speaker 2: amount of flight hours, and unlimited funding to grow their operations.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Is what Chavez.
- 18:02Speaker 2: The Rio Grand Valley sector chief testified the House Oversight Committee,
- 18:07Speaker 2: and there doesn't seem to be a plan. Is there
- 18:10Speaker 2: anything that will change this administration stance to have a plan.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I mean, they're at war with us. How are we
- 18:18Speaker 2: not going to respond? And at what point will this
- 18:21Speaker 2: administration respond? Or are we just basically sol until election day?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Joe Biden is not going to change. He doesn't
- 18:27Speaker 3: want to change. He is stug in.
- 18:31Speaker 4: He views this as as the path to Democrats staying
- 18:35Speaker 4: in power. And look, if he was going to change,
- 18:37Speaker 4: he would have done it already. The only answer is
- 18:40Speaker 4: we've got to win in November because these people are
- 18:44Speaker 4: destroying our country in front of our eyes.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Senator, while they're trying to destroy our country and not
- 18:49Speaker 2: going after the people that are breaking in There's one
- 18:52Speaker 2: thing that is very clear, and that is public enemy
- 18:55Speaker 2: number one of this administration, the Democrats, is Donald Trump.
- 18:58Speaker 2: We now are saying them trying to break Trump financially.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I would assume that you would agree this is certainly
- 19:06Speaker 2: a level of election interference at shocking. But let's talk
- 19:10Speaker 2: about the money now. The ag James who said vote
- 19:14Speaker 2: for me and I'll go after Trump is now asked
- 19:16Speaker 2: the court to deny Donald Trump's four hundred and fifty
- 19:18Speaker 2: four million dollar bond appeal. This is unprecedented in American society.
- 19:26Speaker 2: This is what would happen in communist countries, yet it's
- 19:29Speaker 2: happening right now in America.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Well, we are seeing across the country Democrat prosecutors abusing
- 19:36Speaker 4: the justice system to try to number one, destroy Donald Trump,
- 19:40Speaker 4: but to try to number two subvert democracy. They are
- 19:44Speaker 4: terrified that the voters in November will vote to re
- 19:47Speaker 4: elect Donald Trump, and so they want to abuse their
- 19:49Speaker 4: power to stop the voters from doing that. What Letitia
- 19:54Speaker 4: James has done. She ran for Attorney General promising I'm
- 19:58Speaker 4: going to get Trump, and I'll say, at least so far,
- 20:01Speaker 4: she's delivered on that promise. She went after him with
- 20:03Speaker 4: everything she had in a fraud case that is under
- 20:06Speaker 4: a New York statute that is really a ridiculous statute
- 20:09Speaker 4: because she alleged fraud with no victims. She alleged that
- 20:15Speaker 4: he had borrowed hundreds of millions of dollars from sophisticated
- 20:18Speaker 4: banks like Deutschebank. And Deutschebank didn't lose money, in fact,
- 20:24Speaker 4: they made money on the loans. Trump repaid the loans
- 20:27Speaker 4: and Deutschbach said they were thrilled to make the loans
- 20:29Speaker 4: and would happily make them again. And the argument was
- 20:33Speaker 4: that he valued his real estate more than it was worth.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Deutschbach Bank is not some like poor little old lady
- 20:41Speaker 4: who's a vulnerable consumer. They're a multi billion dollar global bank.
- 20:45Speaker 4: They valued the real estate on their own damn thing.
- 20:47Speaker 4: You know, if I come in and tell tell my
- 20:50Speaker 4: mortgage company, hey, my home is worth ten million dollars,
- 20:54Speaker 4: They're gonna send their own appraiser to go figure out
- 20:56Speaker 4: what my home is worth. They're going to laugh at me.
- 20:58Speaker 4: So an alleged offense with no victim, no injury, and
- 21:04Speaker 4: no harm. The judgment with interest is four hundred and
- 21:10Speaker 4: fifty four million dollars half a billion dollars. And then
- 21:14Speaker 4: New York has a provision that you see in a
- 21:16Speaker 4: number of states that to appeal that you've got to
- 21:20Speaker 4: put the four hundred and fifty four million dollars in
- 21:22Speaker 4: cash either liquid, so either cash or securities liquid, or
- 21:28Speaker 4: you have to have a bond that covers that amount.
- 21:32Speaker 4: And so Trump went and tried to get a bond,
- 21:34Speaker 4: and he went to thirty different surety companies, and all
- 21:38Speaker 4: of them turned him down, and he filed an affidavit.
- 21:43Speaker 4: So he's raised an issue on appeal to say, look,
- 21:46Speaker 4: you can't require me to put up a half billion
- 21:49Speaker 4: dollars just to be able to appeal. And Leticia James
- 21:53Speaker 4: just opposed that and said, oh yeah, he doesn't put
- 21:55Speaker 4: that money up. We're coming to take his property. So
- 21:58Speaker 4: understand what she wants to do. And she wants to
- 21:59Speaker 4: do this as soon as potentially next week. She wants
- 22:03Speaker 4: to show up and physically seize his properties, literally go
- 22:07Speaker 4: and seize properties that he has in New York or elsewhere.
- 22:12Speaker 4: It could literally come down to her trying to essentially
- 22:16Speaker 4: put a padlock on Trump Tower. And I say that
- 22:20Speaker 4: not really with hyperbole, because this is a political jahad
- 22:24Speaker 4: for her, So I think she will look for the
- 22:26Speaker 4: most visible political way to attack her opponent. And here's
- 22:33Speaker 4: here's what Trump's lawyers told the New York Appellate Court.
- 22:38Speaker 4: The attorneys wrote that quote, it is not possible under
- 22:40Speaker 4: the circumstances presented. They said, the underwriters insisted on cash
- 22:45Speaker 4: or other liquid assets instead of real estate as collateral.
- 22:49Speaker 4: So Trump has lots of real estate. But apparently the
- 22:52Speaker 4: o of writers said no, it's got to be cash
- 22:54Speaker 4: or liquid, and he didn't have a half billion dollars
- 22:56Speaker 4: sitting around, and they insisted on cash to cover one
- 23:00Speaker 4: hundred and twenty percent of the judgment, which is five
- 23:04Speaker 4: hundred and fifty seven million dollars. An insurance broker Gary
- 23:09Speaker 4: Giuletti wrote in a sworn statement that quote a bond
- 23:14Speaker 4: of this size is rarely, if ever.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Seen, and.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Letitia James responded, well, no, no, that's not true. There
- 23:23Speaker 4: have been billion dollar bonds before, yes, for massive public corporations.
- 23:28Speaker 3: But Trump's business is not a public corporation.
- 23:32Speaker 4: It is a private company, and to get a half
- 23:34Speaker 4: billion dollar bond is incredibly difficult, and so understand the impact.
- 23:41Speaker 4: If Trump is not able to post this bond. The
- 23:44Speaker 4: effect would be to deny him the right to even
- 23:48Speaker 4: appeal the absurd partisan decision from the district court. I
- 23:53Speaker 4: got to say, this is such a profound abuse. Now,
- 23:58Speaker 4: that doesn't mean Trump would be out of option, because
- 24:00Speaker 4: if the New York courts insist you got to put
- 24:03Speaker 4: up a half billion dollars in order to appeal this decision,
- 24:06Speaker 4: I am confident that Trump will appeal that, and potentially
- 24:10Speaker 4: appeal that all the way to the U. S. Supreme
- 24:12Speaker 4: Court and the U. S. Supreme Court. He would have
- 24:15Speaker 4: multiple arguments, constitutional arguments, including the Constitution prohibits denying an individual,
- 24:23Speaker 4: depriving an individual of property without due process of law.
- 24:27Speaker 4: And there would be an argument that this is such
- 24:29Speaker 4: an excessive bond that it constitutes a violation of due process.
- 24:35Speaker 4: He would also have an argument under the Eighth Amendment.
- 24:37Speaker 4: The Eighth Amendment specifies excessive bail shall not be required,
- 24:42Speaker 4: nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. Now,
- 24:48Speaker 4: the Eighth Amendment typically applies in a criminal context, but
- 24:53Speaker 4: given the magnitude here, I would expect him to make
- 24:56Speaker 4: both an Eighth Amendment argument and a due process argument,
- 25:00Speaker 4: and it is entirely possible that would prevail ultimately. But
- 25:04Speaker 4: what New York is doing, what the New York Attorney
- 25:08Speaker 4: General is doing, is the conduct of a banana Republic.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Kevin O'Leary, who many you will know from Shark Tank,
- 25:17Speaker 2: not the most political guy. He talked about the business
- 25:20Speaker 2: fallout of this and asking where are the adults in
- 25:24Speaker 2: the room, because we can't let this stand in the
- 25:26Speaker 2: United States of America. Here's part of what he said,
- 25:29Speaker 2: which I thought was really interesting.
- 25:31Speaker 6: But more importantly, the message about the American brand. You
- 25:35Speaker 6: think about America, the reason this is the number one
- 25:37Speaker 6: economy on Earth is that we have laws, and we
- 25:40Speaker 6: have due process, and we have property rights. It attracts
- 25:43Speaker 6: foreign capital from all around the world. All of that
- 25:47Speaker 6: is being shaken to the core here. The concept of
- 25:51Speaker 6: seizing assets in thirty days on a bond number that's
- 25:54Speaker 6: never been issued, No insurance bond companies ever issued anything
- 25:58Speaker 6: near this, so it chance that was going to happen,
- 26:01Speaker 6: and only giving thirty days notice in time, that's a
- 26:05Speaker 6: really bad message. And I think New Yorker should think
- 26:10Speaker 6: well past Trump, whether he's president or not, or whether
- 26:14Speaker 6: this Attorney's General is gone in four years or not,
- 26:16Speaker 6: it's irrelevant. This is case setting against the American brand.
- 26:21Speaker 6: The most stable country on earth anywhere to put capital
- 26:25Speaker 6: work over a long period of time, particularly in real estate,
- 26:29Speaker 6: is the United States of America.
- 26:30Speaker 3: This is an.
- 26:31Speaker 6: Assault on what we believe to be core and I
- 26:36Speaker 6: find it extraordinary. I think it's very troubling. It has
- 26:41Speaker 6: absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump at this point,
- 26:44Speaker 6: in my view, and it is completely bipartisan. This is
- 26:48Speaker 6: an attack on America. And I don't know how you
- 26:53Speaker 6: can look at it any other way. And as an investor,
- 26:57Speaker 6: and I know plenty of investors are completely disturbed by this,
- 27:01Speaker 6: but I mean, no one is going to put any
- 27:04Speaker 6: money to work in New York in these amounts until
- 27:07Speaker 6: this thing settles down. The whole world is watching, and
- 27:10Speaker 6: everybody's waiting for one thing we haven't got yet. Adult supervision.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 27:16Speaker 6: Where are the adults in this crazy narrative? Certainly there's
- 27:20Speaker 6: got to be adult supervision at some point. And I understand,
- 27:24Speaker 6: you know the war going on here and all the
- 27:27Speaker 6: political YadA YadA, Wolf Wolf Wolf, but we need an
- 27:30Speaker 6: adult in the room.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Now.
- 27:31Speaker 6: This is the United States of America under.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Siege, under siege. I mean, he's not joking around. He says,
- 27:38Speaker 2: where are the adults center? I'm going to ask you this,
- 27:40Speaker 2: where are the adults? At what point do the adults
- 27:42Speaker 2: get a hold of this?
- 27:45Speaker 4: Well, at this point, it's not clear to me that
- 27:47Speaker 4: there are any adults left in New York. There certainly
- 27:50Speaker 4: are not among politicians. I don't know of a single
- 27:53Speaker 4: Democrat politician who has spoken out against this abuse. Certainly
- 27:58Speaker 4: Chuck Schumer hasn't Governor hasn't. The mayor of New York
- 28:01Speaker 4: City hasn't. Leticia James is auditioning to be governor. She's
- 28:05Speaker 4: clearly ambitious. She views this as the path to success
- 28:09Speaker 4: in the Democrat Party in New York. And I got
- 28:12Speaker 4: to say, look, I think they rationalize in their own mind,
- 28:16Speaker 4: this is a special rule just for Donald Trump. We
- 28:19Speaker 4: hate Trump so much. They think Trump is the devil,
- 28:23Speaker 4: and so this applies just to Trump. But this precedent
- 28:28Speaker 4: can apply to anyone. If simply claiming that you overstated
- 28:32Speaker 4: the value of your real estate gives the Attorney General
- 28:36Speaker 4: the justification to seize hundreds of millions or billions of dollars,
- 28:41Speaker 4: what real estate developer in their right mind would would
- 28:44Speaker 4: continue to do business. Every real estate developer, just as
- 28:47Speaker 4: a starting point is subject to this kind of shakedown.
- 28:51Speaker 4: And if you don't think that Letitia James or the
- 28:53Speaker 4: next ambitious Attorney General will use that power, then you're
- 28:58Speaker 4: smoking something, because look, it is arbitrary, it's unreviewable, and
- 29:04Speaker 4: by the way, if you can't get a bond to
- 29:05Speaker 4: appeal it, there is no appellate review. So it's the
- 29:08Speaker 4: ability to shake it down. And so if she wants
- 29:10Speaker 4: to negotiate a settlement. Suppose she comes in. That gives
- 29:14Speaker 4: this politician the ability to terrorize businesses, to terrorize foreign corporations,
- 29:21Speaker 4: anyone that they decide we don't like.
- 29:25Speaker 5: It.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Essentially empowers the politicians to terrorize individuals and companies and
- 29:32Speaker 4: force them to comply with whatever their demand is, or
- 29:37Speaker 4: else we will seize your assets and you can't even
- 29:40Speaker 4: appeal it. And yet, why is not a single Democrat
- 29:45Speaker 4: in New York worried about this or speaking out about it?
- 29:50Speaker 4: You know, it's astonishing.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not just if you think it's only
- 29:53Speaker 2: going to be Donald Trump, you may be wrong. Which
- 29:55Speaker 2: brings us to our final story, and that deals with
- 29:58Speaker 2: the IRS. Jordan has announced he's opened up an investigation
- 30:03Speaker 2: accusations the IRS is using AI to spy on tax payers.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I would love to say I'm surprised by this, senator,
- 30:14Speaker 2: but we've seen the IRS go after conservative groups and
- 30:17Speaker 2: Tea party groups and others in the past, and no
- 30:20Speaker 2: one really got in trouble for that, So why would
- 30:22Speaker 2: it be any different this time?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right.
- 30:26Speaker 4: So we have a pair of letters that was sent
- 30:28Speaker 4: to the Treasury Secretary into the Attorney General. One was
- 30:32Speaker 4: sent by Jim Jordan, the chairman of the Judiciary Committee,
- 30:35Speaker 4: and another one was sent by Harriet Hageman from Wyoming,
- 30:39Speaker 4: and it is examining whether the IRS is using artificial
- 30:44Speaker 4: intelligence to surveil American taxpayers. And in the letters that
- 30:50Speaker 4: they describe how the IRS put out a press release
- 30:54Speaker 4: in twenty twenty three saying that artificial intelligence quote will
- 30:59Speaker 4: he help i r S compliance teams better detect tax cheating,
- 31:04Speaker 4: identify emerging compliance threats, and improve case selection tools to
- 31:10Speaker 4: avoid burdening taxpayers with needless no change audits. And the
- 31:17Speaker 4: letter from Jordan and Hageman continues quote, However, recent reporting
- 31:22Speaker 4: alleges that the IRS's use of AI has also included
- 31:27Speaker 4: actively monitoring American citizens bank accounts en mass and without
- 31:33Speaker 4: legal process. And they cite a report from from James
- 31:37Speaker 4: O'Keeffe and and the video footage from James O'Keefe UH
- 31:43Speaker 4: captures an individual named Alex Mina, who's an IRS official
- 31:47Speaker 4: work working in the agency's Criminal Investigations Unit, who admits
- 31:52Speaker 4: and and and this is a quote I'm going to
- 31:54Speaker 4: quote for the letter. Quote video footage obtained by an
- 31:57Speaker 4: investigated media outlet appears to cap thus Alex Mina, an
- 32:01Speaker 4: IRS official working in the agency's Criminal Investigations Unit, admitting
- 32:05Speaker 4: that the IRS has a new system that uses AI
- 32:10Speaker 4: to target potential abusers by examining all returns, bank statements,
- 32:16Speaker 4: and related financial information for potential for fraud, and Mina
- 32:22Speaker 4: asserted that the new AI system has the ability to
- 32:25Speaker 4: access and monitor all the information from all the companies
- 32:31Speaker 4: in the world.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I mean the amount of power that the IRS has
- 32:35Speaker 2: not just to spy on people, but to come after
- 32:38Speaker 2: people for their political viewpoints. And everybody's like, oh, it
- 32:41Speaker 2: never has happened. They don't do that. We know that
- 32:43Speaker 2: from tea party groups in the past. This is going
- 32:46Speaker 2: to be very interesting. If Jim Jordan opening these investigations,
- 32:49Speaker 2: what comes to this. We will keep you updated on it.
