- 1:46Speaker 3: the word of the mono.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Look, come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 8: You'll think that, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 9: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,

- 2:13Speaker 9: oh man, oh man, Ain't God good y'all. I'm gonna
- 2:17Speaker 9: say it again, Ain't God good?
- 2:19Speaker 8: Y'all. You know.
- 2:22Speaker 9: I'm gonna share something with you this morning because it
- 2:25Speaker 9: happens to me all the time.
- 2:27Speaker 8: As a matter of fact, I got an email from my.
- 2:30Speaker 9: Publicist just just this morning, and you know something I've found.
- 2:35Speaker 8: And I've said this before.
- 2:38Speaker 9: You know you can never ever expect to change, or
- 2:45Speaker 9: to want to change, or make the attempt to do
- 2:48Speaker 9: better any any time you try to go forward in
- 2:51Speaker 9: your life.
- 2:53Speaker 8: Please know that we'll be opposition. It is.
- 2:58Speaker 9: It is an amazing thing right here. But the devil
- 3:01Speaker 9: is so busy, so busy all the time. His objective
- 3:06Speaker 9: is to see you fail or or and here's the
- 3:11Speaker 9: one you gotta be careful of, or want you to
- 3:15Speaker 9: succeed at the wrong thing.
- 3:18Speaker 8: You know what I mean.
- 3:20Speaker 9: There is such a thing as succeeding at the wrong thing,
- 3:24Speaker 9: if you know what I mean. And you can ask
- 3:28Speaker 9: many people who have done time before, all people who
- 3:32Speaker 9: are currently doing time, all people who are about to
- 3:35Speaker 9: do time or find out even worse, about to lose
- 3:38Speaker 9: their life. They're even their mere existence because they are
- 3:43Speaker 9: attempting to become good at.
- 3:45Speaker 8: The wrong thing.
- 3:47Speaker 9: And I don't have to get into specifics about it,
- 3:50Speaker 9: y'all can all think of something I'm talking about. But
- 3:54Speaker 9: there is a thing of being good at the wrong thing. Well,
- 3:57Speaker 9: the devil's mission is to get you to fail at
- 4:02Speaker 9: anything good and to create the false illusion in your
- 4:06Speaker 9: life that you succeeding. Is that you're succeeding. Are you
- 4:09Speaker 9: doing the right thing when you and he both know
- 4:13Speaker 9: you are doing the wrong thing.
- 4:16Speaker 8: That's his mission.
- 4:18Speaker 9: So whenever you make the decision to do better, to improve,
- 4:24Speaker 9: to change, to want more, to put your life on
- 4:29Speaker 9: the right track, please know there is going to be opposition,
- 4:35Speaker 9: But do yourself a favor when the haters come, and
- 4:41Speaker 9: they will come.
- 4:42Speaker 8: They are inevitable.
- 4:44Speaker 9: Today. It is amazing how our world has turned. It
- 4:49Speaker 9: is amazing how the Internet has become a source of
- 4:51Speaker 9: hate when it was designed to be a place where
- 4:54Speaker 9: people could go for information to make your life simpler.
- 4:59Speaker 9: But it is to enough to be quite a haven
- 5:01Speaker 9: for people who are up to no good. Their child
- 5:05Speaker 9: pornography websites up. You just go, wait a minute, man,
- 5:08Speaker 9: how can this exist? You know, this is the United
- 5:11Speaker 9: States of America and there are trifling people out there
- 5:15Speaker 9: who have sites put up and with technology, sometimes they're traceable,
- 5:20Speaker 9: sometimes they don't.
- 5:21Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 5:22Speaker 9: But people are allowed to exist under these freedom of
- 5:27Speaker 9: speech amendments that we have and so forth and so on.
- 5:30Speaker 9: But you know, when things come your way called haters,
- 5:37Speaker 9: they are going to come. Because this is now the
- 5:41Speaker 9: world and the climate that we live in. Everybody's not
- 5:44Speaker 9: gonna be happy for the news that Hey guess what
- 5:47Speaker 9: he's changed, or hey guess what he's trying to do better,
- 5:51Speaker 9: or hey guess what she's decided.
- 5:53Speaker 8: In her mind to be more with her life.
- 5:55Speaker 9: You know what she gonna get out the system and
- 5:57Speaker 9: get to standing on her own two feet, go back
- 5:59Speaker 9: and get her education. Be a great example for a
- 6:02Speaker 9: cheer child. You know, hey, she decided to have her child.
- 6:05Speaker 9: I mean, it's so many things that people do right
- 6:08Speaker 9: that people turn into a negative because they are haters.
- 6:13Speaker 9: But do yourself a favor when the haters come your way,
- 6:17Speaker 9: keep pushing, Just keep pushing. And I know it's difficult
- 6:23Speaker 9: because you want to turn around and address everything because
- 6:26Speaker 9: you want to set the record straight. But no matter
- 6:29Speaker 9: how straight you set it, for people who are in
- 6:32Speaker 9: the hate business, they are going to be about the
- 6:35Speaker 9: business of hating you anyway. All of you out there
- 6:37Speaker 9: experiencing on some level or another. See I'm not talking
- 6:41Speaker 9: about me. I'm talking about everybody who experiences at your church,
- 6:47Speaker 9: on your job, in your home, from people who you
- 6:52Speaker 9: thought were your friends, from relatives, I mean, from people
- 6:58Speaker 9: you know don't know you. And here comes the hate.
- 7:03Speaker 9: Do yourself a favor and keep pushing. It is in
- 7:06Speaker 9: your best interest to ignore it and just keep moving.
- 7:10Speaker 9: But do not, and I repeat, do not, let them
- 7:14Speaker 9: get you down. Let me explain to you one thing
- 7:17Speaker 9: that I have grown to learn over the years. But
- 7:20Speaker 9: I have to reteach it to myself all the time.
- 7:23Speaker 9: Haters are non productive people. Haters are not decision makers.
- 7:34Speaker 9: They're really, really not. I don't care if you're being
- 7:36Speaker 9: hated on from somebody in a supervisory capacity over you.
- 7:42Speaker 9: They're not the decision maker of your life. They have
- 7:45Speaker 9: this temporary place that allows them a false sense of
- 7:50Speaker 9: power over you.
- 7:52Speaker 8: Don't acknowledge that in them.
- 7:55Speaker 9: The only person that has power with you and you
- 8:00Speaker 9: is a person you allow to Martin Luther King made
- 8:03Speaker 9: a statement one time. He said, a person can't ride
- 8:07Speaker 9: your back unless you bend over. Don't bend over.
- 8:13Speaker 8: Thud.
- 8:13Speaker 9: No back riders in your life unless you bend over,
- 8:17Speaker 9: stand up straight, and they can't stay on. So when
- 8:21Speaker 9: you have them in your life, whether they're in a
- 8:23Speaker 9: supervisory capacity, shake them.
- 8:25Speaker 8: They are non productive people. They are not decision makers.
- 8:28Speaker 9: They are negative, and they cannot affect your plans or
- 8:33Speaker 9: position in life unless you give them life by addressing
- 8:39Speaker 9: them all the time. Don't even address them. Keep moving,
- 8:43Speaker 9: keep your life on track. Know that you are a
- 8:46Speaker 9: child of God, that God loves you. No matter what
- 8:49Speaker 9: you've done. You can make a mistake, and God is
- 8:51Speaker 9: a god of chances. God will give you time and
- 8:55Speaker 9: time and time again to get yourself together. He has
- 8:59Speaker 9: done it for me, He has done it for millions
- 9:01Speaker 9: of others. He will do the same thing for you.
- 9:04Speaker 9: Don't let the devil fool you that you've made a
- 9:07Speaker 9: mistake so great that God won't forgive you for it.
- 9:10Speaker 9: Because God is a God of chances, and I wish
- 9:14Speaker 9: I want people to remember that man. God is a
- 9:17Speaker 9: redeemer no matter how many. If He's given you eight chances,
- 9:22Speaker 9: he will give you the ninth chance if you go
- 9:26Speaker 9: to him honestly and earnestly and really mean what you
- 9:29Speaker 9: say God is to get your life together.
- 9:32Speaker 10: God, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It

- 9:54Speaker 10: Your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna
- 9:58Speaker 10: read this one right here, right now, and you never know,
- 10:01Speaker 10: it could be yours.
- 10:03Speaker 11: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on time.
- 10:05Speaker 11: We guide it for you here. It is Strawberry Lotta.
- 10:08Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you.
- 10:10Speaker 10: Subject is I don't know my parents anymore. I don't
- 10:14Speaker 10: know my parents anymore, Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm twenty four
- 10:19Speaker 10: years old and I've been married for almost a year.
- 10:21Speaker 10: My husband and I have a toddler and I'm going
- 10:24Speaker 10: back to nursing school, so my parents encourage us to
- 10:28Speaker 10: move in with them. My husband loves my parents, so
- 10:31Speaker 10: we moved in and it's helped us with child care
- 10:34Speaker 10: and I don't have to work. I can focus on
- 10:36Speaker 10: my studies. My husband and I moved into a large
- 10:40Speaker 10: upstairs room above my parents room so we could have
- 10:43Speaker 10: a lot of space. We got home cooked meals, and
- 10:46Speaker 10: my dad washes my car and fills it up with gas.
- 10:50Speaker 10: You would think we have an ideal living situation, but
- 10:52Speaker 10: it's not. I don't know who my parents are anymore.
- 10:56Speaker 10: I grew up in a Christian home and we went
- 10:59Speaker 10: to church a lie lot. I wasn't allowed to participate
- 11:02Speaker 10: in cheerleading, the dance team, or volleyball because the outfits
- 11:06Speaker 10: were too revealing. My faith is also why I had
- 11:10Speaker 10: to get married early. When we got pregnant, the pressure
- 11:14Speaker 10: was on for us to get married. But since we've
- 11:17Speaker 10: moved in with my parents. Things are so different now.
- 11:20Speaker 10: My mom walks around in tank tops and booty shorts daily.
- 11:24Speaker 10: My husband always comments on how nice my mom's body
- 11:28Speaker 10: still looks, and my dad hugs my mom from behind
- 11:31Speaker 10: and grinds on her in front of us and our child.
- 11:35Speaker 10: It's so bizarre, and yes, we can hear them having sex,
- 11:39Speaker 10: but by far the cringiest thing is that they could
- 11:43Speaker 10: hear my husband and I having sex. They mentioned how
- 11:47Speaker 10: our bed creaks, and my dad said my husband must
- 11:50Speaker 10: be putting in work because that we only have sex
- 11:53Speaker 10: when they're gone, and that doesn't happen often. Moving out
- 11:57Speaker 10: isn't an option for us right now. So how do
- 11:59Speaker 10: we live with my freaky Christian parents? Can I talk
- 12:02Speaker 10: to them about this or would it be considered disrespectful? Well,
- 12:07Speaker 10: you know what, this is just freaky to you.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I mean, people.
- 12:10Speaker 10: Change, parents change, and obviously your parents are cool with
- 12:14Speaker 10: the new them. So before you go judging them and
- 12:17Speaker 10: having words with them, don't forget. They've opened up their
- 12:20Speaker 10: home to you, guys, and that is a blessing. If
- 12:23Speaker 10: you don't like the situation, the best thing you and
- 12:26Speaker 10: your husband can do is to hurry up and get out,
- 12:30Speaker 10: get out of your parents' house. You may think you
- 12:33Speaker 10: have a say and you could talk to them, but
- 12:35Speaker 10: it is their house and you guys are simply guessed there.
- 12:38Speaker 10: Enjoy and appreciate this hospitality they're showing you.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I really can't believe you're complaining.
- 12:43Speaker 10: I mean, your mom might be a bit much in
- 12:46Speaker 10: your eyes in front of your husband right now, and
- 12:49Speaker 10: I don't doubt that, But why is he even commenting
- 12:54Speaker 10: on her body?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Why?
- 12:56Speaker 10: But again, this is her house and your dad likes it.
- 12:59Speaker 10: I'm not saying you shouldn't speak your mind, but you
- 13:01Speaker 10: should do that in your own house, which you don't
- 13:04Speaker 10: have right now. That's where you're in. It should should
- 13:07Speaker 10: be focused getting your own house and be grateful for now.
- 13:10Speaker 9: Steve, Well, surely you said something. You said it's a
- 13:16Speaker 9: blessing to be able to stay at your parents' house.
- 13:22Speaker 8: It's not. It's a problem.
- 13:27Speaker 9: Whenever you got to move back in with your parents,
- 13:31Speaker 9: that ain't a blessing.
- 13:32Speaker 8: That's a problem, and.
- 13:37Speaker 9: It just, uh, it speaks so many other levels. What
- 13:43Speaker 9: I've learned in life is everything that free ain't good.
- 13:48Speaker 9: Free usually come with something. That's what I've discovered in
- 13:52Speaker 9: my life. So that twenty five four year old and
- 13:55Speaker 9: been married for a year. They young, they got a toddler,
- 14:01Speaker 9: and now the girl want to go back to nursing school.
- 14:03Speaker 9: So your parents said they could move in with y'all
- 14:06Speaker 9: to save money and have child care and you get
- 14:10Speaker 9: free meals. You can focus on your studies. And you
- 14:13Speaker 9: and your husband moved into a large upstairs bedroom over
- 14:18Speaker 9: your parents' room cause it's got a lot of space. Well,
- 14:22Speaker 9: your daddy washing your car, you know, gassing it up.
- 14:26Speaker 9: But she says, I don't know who my parents are anymore,
- 14:31Speaker 9: which is the title of the letter. I don't know
- 14:33Speaker 9: my parents anymore. Well, let me tell you something about
- 14:37Speaker 9: your parents. You just didn't know your.
- 14:42Speaker 8: Parents, that's all it is. Mom and daddy been like this.
- 14:51Speaker 9: You know, you say, things is so different now, No,
- 14:54Speaker 9: you just now finding out your mom walk around in
- 14:58Speaker 9: the tank top and booty short daily. My husband comments
- 15:04Speaker 9: all the time on how nice my mom body look.
- 15:08Speaker 9: My daddy hugging my mama from behind, grinding on in
- 15:11Speaker 9: front of all of us and the baby. You know, now,
- 15:16Speaker 9: you say all this is crazy because you grew up
- 15:20Speaker 9: in a Christian home and y'all went to church a lot,
- 15:23Speaker 9: and you wasn't allowed to participate in cheerleading the dance
- 15:26Speaker 9: team of volleyball because the outfits were too revealing.
- 15:32Speaker 8: Okay, that's what they told you.
- 15:36Speaker 9: But deacon had your mama, Pearl now at the house
- 15:42Speaker 9: wearing booty shirts and tank tops.
- 15:46Speaker 8: Now you just found out about this.
- 15:50Speaker 9: Now he walking around in front of your husband and
- 15:52Speaker 9: your husband coming on home. How good your body? Your
- 15:55Speaker 9: mama's body still looks he twenty four. He's stupid. He
- 15:58Speaker 9: don't know to keep that to hisself right now. He's
- 16:01Speaker 9: just stupid doing and so now we got a whole
- 16:06Speaker 9: another problem. And y'all can hear them halving sick. That's
- 16:10Speaker 9: the part we'll start with when we come back. What
- 16:13Speaker 9: all right, Pearl and amos? What is Pearl and amos downstairs?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Do all right?
- 16:20Speaker 8: Steve?
- 16:21Speaker 10: We'll in part two of your response coming up at
- 16:23Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour today's Strawberry letar subject
- 16:27Speaker 10: I don't know my parents anymore. We'll get back into
- 16:29Speaker 10: it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 17:11Speaker 10: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 17:14Speaker 10: is I don't know my parents anymore.
- 17:17Speaker 9: But twenty four had to move in with her parents
- 17:20Speaker 9: with her husband. They were religious family. They had a toddler.
- 17:24Speaker 9: She got pregnant before, so that marriage got kind of
- 17:28Speaker 9: pushed up.
- 17:28Speaker 8: They grew up very religious.
- 17:30Speaker 9: She wasn't allowed to participate in volleyball or cheerleading.
- 17:34Speaker 8: Or dance class because the outfits was too reveal.
- 17:36Speaker 9: It But when they moved in with their mama over
- 17:39Speaker 9: their mama's room, they got a big room over their
- 17:41Speaker 9: mom and daddy room. Her mama walked around in tank
- 17:44Speaker 9: tops and booty shots. Your husband, who's dumb? Because he
- 17:49Speaker 9: twenty four. He keep mentioning how fine your mama is
- 17:53Speaker 9: because he don't know to keep that to hisself, cause
- 17:56Speaker 9: he twenty four.
- 17:57Speaker 8: He think he still thinks he can share stuff everything.
- 18:01Speaker 8: He don't know.
- 18:02Speaker 9: You gotta shut your mouth. So and then it just
- 18:06Speaker 9: kept on. So now she says she doesn't know them
- 18:11Speaker 9: anymore because they got a room above them, and she
- 18:17Speaker 9: can hear them having sex. Pearl and Amos is down
- 18:25Speaker 9: there getting it in. And then she said, but my
- 18:31Speaker 9: father cringiest things. They can hear me and my husband
- 18:34Speaker 9: having sick, and they mentioned how bed creaks, and my
- 18:38Speaker 9: dad said, my husband must be putting in work. Now
- 18:44Speaker 9: that's weird. This is his daughter. I ain't gonna be
- 18:53Speaker 9: a have cause hatian h with uh about my I
- 19:01Speaker 9: just ain't gonna be able to have that conversation. So
- 19:05Speaker 9: your parents has been freaky deckey for a long time.
- 19:09Speaker 9: You're just not finding out about it. He grinding on
- 19:13Speaker 9: your grandmama, Well on the baby, grandmama. Now the baby
- 19:16Speaker 9: is learning a lot of stuff now that this has
- 19:20Speaker 9: helped a little toddler out because now he gonna go
- 19:22Speaker 9: to school and show and tell, and he gonna show
- 19:25Speaker 9: what grandpa do when he walk up on Grandma, all
- 19:29Speaker 9: that's gonna get out. I really don't have hear you
- 19:35Speaker 9: say that moving out is not an option for you
- 19:36Speaker 9: right now? So how do we live with my freaky
- 19:42Speaker 9: Christian parents? Can I talk to them about this or
- 19:46Speaker 9: would it be considered as disrespectful? Well, it's not considered disrespectful.
- 19:52Speaker 9: It's just that's their house and what they do in
- 19:57Speaker 9: their house is their business. And there's really nothing you
- 20:01Speaker 9: could say but quit calling a Christian house. There's other
- 20:11Speaker 9: names you can give it that will help you deal
- 20:13Speaker 9: with it better. Oh like, for example, you could call
- 20:19Speaker 9: it the bunny ratch.
- 20:24Speaker 1: No way, come on, you could.
- 20:32Speaker 9: You could call it the pink pony. Here's another name
- 20:40Speaker 9: you can call it. You can call it cheetahs. Yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 9: what call it magic city?
- 20:56Speaker 8: But you can quit calling it a good Christian home.
- 21:00Speaker 9: One thing I've always said about Christians when they all
- 21:05Speaker 9: be all up in their seat, where do little Christians
- 21:10Speaker 9: come from?
- 21:11Speaker 8: M from Christians? Somebody got to be in that doing
- 21:15Speaker 8: that thing. Now.
- 21:17Speaker 9: The problem is they have one image up at the church,
- 21:23Speaker 9: which a lot of people do. They put that mask
- 21:25Speaker 9: on for the church, sit up act, all got their
- 21:29Speaker 9: nose in there, got they suit on passing the trade,
- 21:32Speaker 9: know all the protocol. But when they get home though, Hey, hey,
- 21:37Speaker 9: payl go on in there and take that missionary out.
- 21:39Speaker 8: You know, gona gonna put your clothes on like I
- 21:42Speaker 8: like it? What you want me to weigh? Put your
- 21:45Speaker 8: put your booty shawts on. That can't talk?
- 21:47Speaker 9: Come on in here, let me let me get up
- 21:49Speaker 9: on that thing. Wow girl girl, the moodie kids in here,
- 21:54Speaker 9: I don't care.
- 21:56Speaker 8: Can nobody kid be in in here? What's your looking? Man?

- 25:17Speaker 13: went a game, that's even better. We get two games
- 25:20Speaker 13: out of this at three. Man, I just have to
- 25:22Speaker 13: say it because everybody says, man, you don't do it. Said,
- 25:24Speaker 13: I'm not gonna do y'all. Man, we're gonna win. We
- 25:26Speaker 13: just gonna win one game at a time. So Lee's first.
- 25:29Speaker 7: We got that. All right, let's talk about this.
- 25:33Speaker 13: People are mad at being out of body for the
- 25:36Speaker 13: eighty three points. They mad at him because they say
- 25:39Speaker 13: he should not have passed Kobe Bryant. He should have
- 25:43Speaker 13: just stopped. That's not fake.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Get paid. But that ain't how this work.
- 25:52Speaker 11: No, no, he got he should have got right below.
- 25:56Speaker 11: He should have got right below, Like, what do you got?
- 25:58Speaker 7: You got eighty instead of what what do you want?
- 26:00Speaker 7: You want to get? He got eighty three?
- 26:03Speaker 13: He broke You know, he's the second scoring player in
- 26:07Speaker 13: NBA history.
- 26:08Speaker 9: What but that takes away nothing from Kobe's legacy.
- 26:15Speaker 13: Nothing the hate though, Yeah, he should you know, he
- 26:20Speaker 13: should have just quit. Why would he quit if I
- 26:22Speaker 13: get thirty one points in the first quarter, I'm going
- 26:24Speaker 13: for eighty three too.
- 26:25Speaker 7: I don't see how you ain't you scored?
- 26:28Speaker 8: Well, well, well, nobody's thinking eighty points. I don't think.
- 26:32Speaker 7: No, no, what would you get there? You gotta go
- 26:36Speaker 7: for it? And he did.
- 26:37Speaker 8: He had another minute and something left.
- 26:39Speaker 11: He should have went for will Tam.
- 26:47Speaker 7: And he said, well, it don't really justify him for
- 26:50Speaker 7: it was against the Wizards. Ain't they in the NBA too?
- 26:54Speaker 8: The Wizards?
- 26:55Speaker 1: So yeah, the.
- 27:02Speaker 8: Edit ain't but hate us man.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, Jude, sure, thank you.
- 27:09Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 27:11Speaker 10: on social media needs some advice. He says, his coworker
- 27:14Speaker 10: wants him to hit on his wife. We'll talk about
- 27:17Speaker 10: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 27:20Speaker 10: Morning Show. Jerry on Steve BRVFM says, at a recent
- 27:28Speaker 10: happy hour, one of my coworkers asked his wife to
- 27:32Speaker 10: stop by and we were introduced. I thought nothing more
- 27:35Speaker 10: about it, but the next Monday, the guy came up
- 27:38Speaker 10: to me and said that his wife wouldn't stop talking
- 27:41Speaker 10: about me. Then he went on about how he thinks
- 27:44Speaker 10: she's been cheating on him and flirting with other guys online.
- 27:47Speaker 10: So now he wants me to DM her just to
- 27:51Speaker 10: see what happened. I don't know if he's really trying
- 27:54Speaker 10: to bust his wife or if he's putting me through
- 27:56Speaker 10: some kind of test. Either way, it feels really off
- 28:00Speaker 10: and I want no part of this. How do I
- 28:03Speaker 10: get this guy and his relationship out of my life
- 28:05Speaker 10: and without causing drama at work?
- 28:08Speaker 9: I was feel simple, Hey man, I'm not getting involved
- 28:10Speaker 9: in that. Keep me out of that. I don't want
- 28:13Speaker 9: to have nothing to do with that. And then secondly
- 28:15Speaker 9: they swing us. That's what that is. Wait there you go?
- 28:18Speaker 9: There you go big dump? See it now? You know
- 28:21Speaker 9: when you.
- 28:22Speaker 1: See go back? Yeah?
- 28:25Speaker 8: Go back. The man asked you to hit on your wife.
- 28:30Speaker 10: Oh, I got you, Okay, I got it now yeah.
- 28:34Speaker 8: And you slide into d MS if you do it.
- 28:37Speaker 9: And she agreed, then the next move is, hey, man,
- 28:39Speaker 9: I'm gonna be there too, Can I watching the baby?
- 28:44Speaker 8: Here come the baby? All right? After that? Yeah, come
- 28:47Speaker 8: out how they walk around? You're watching?
- 28:53Speaker 5: Okay?
- 28:53Speaker 8: All right, Steve, all right, well we have another one
- 28:56Speaker 8: could have told you how I go. I don't know
- 28:58Speaker 8: why by surprise.
- 29:01Speaker 9: Puffing lady, whole rubble map out for Y'all't what is
- 29:04Speaker 9: the shock about. I had the whole trial of him
- 29:07Speaker 9: calling up the ugliest sex worker I'm ever seeing.
- 29:13Speaker 8: I'm not.
- 29:13Speaker 9: I can't get over the way this man look. I
- 29:17Speaker 9: had missed a great opportunity in my life. If I
- 29:21Speaker 9: to know you could be all looking, I would have
- 29:25Speaker 9: been a sex worker. I just didn't know. I thought
- 29:28Speaker 9: you had to be fine by.
- 29:29Speaker 8: They all cut up and all this here man that
- 29:32Speaker 8: looks crazy right here.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Turns out you don't.
- 29:36Speaker 9: He looked just like my partner running Florida and start
- 29:43Speaker 9: running Floyd, Florida, running from Floyd.
- 29:50Speaker 10: Not that that makes a difference, but yeah, the correction.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Wow, Steve, Okay, are you done with that?
- 29:59Speaker 8: I can't get I just said. I'm still stuck on that.
- 30:02Speaker 9: Out of that whole puffing Netflix documentary, the thing that
- 30:06Speaker 9: I struggled with the most was the sex worker that
- 30:10Speaker 9: had the job that flew in all the time, the
- 30:13Speaker 9: same one I was just requested. It's all you had
- 30:22Speaker 9: to look like a chippin Dale down, so be fine.
- 30:25Speaker 1: All this hell turns out?
- 30:27Speaker 8: You know, I didn't. I ain't know you could lovely
- 30:30Speaker 8: little man looking like Ronnie Florida. It's crazy, so confused.
- 30:40Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna move on.
- 30:43Speaker 5: Web.
- 30:44Speaker 10: Time for another one, Steve. This is Kyle on a
- 30:46Speaker 10: Steve Harvey FM. Kyle says, my roommate is getting on
- 30:49Speaker 10: my nerves. He doesn't buy any groceries, but he tries
- 30:52Speaker 10: to divide.
- 30:53Speaker 7: Up the food.
- 30:54Speaker 10: Keep in mind that he's contributed nothing to the shopping experience.
- 30:58Speaker 10: I've tried to talk to him about it, but he
- 31:00Speaker 10: just laughs it off. I didn't considered buying my own
- 31:02Speaker 10: many fridge and a storage chest for the stuff I
- 31:05Speaker 10: buy for myself, and padlocks for both of them. Is
- 31:09Speaker 10: there a better solution aside from just kicking him out?
- 31:13Speaker 8: Bro?
- 31:14Speaker 9: You got two ways you can do this, and you
- 31:16Speaker 9: just mentioned both of them. I would get a mini
- 31:20Speaker 9: fridge and put it in my room. Keep my stuff
- 31:24Speaker 9: in there, you know, because if he's coming up with
- 31:28Speaker 9: half of the rent, that's good enough.
- 31:30Speaker 8: But that food.
- 31:31Speaker 9: I keep my food in the room. When it's time
- 31:33Speaker 9: to cook, I take it out there and cook. That's
- 31:36Speaker 9: the best thing to do it.
- 31:37Speaker 8: Now.
- 31:38Speaker 9: If he ain't contributed in the rent, kick him out.
- 31:42Speaker 9: I had that exact situation after college one time. I
- 31:46Speaker 9: never a good friend of mine stayed with me. Man,
- 31:49Speaker 9: he wasn't making no contribution.
- 31:51Speaker 7: Wow, kicked him out.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Huh, all right.
- 31:53Speaker 9: It hurt me because I love this dude. But we're
- 31:56Speaker 9: friends to this day. We fixed all that, all right?
- 32:01Speaker 10: Coming up, we'll have more of the very kind Steve
- 32:04Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show right after this. Yes, some nice you're
- 32:08Speaker 10: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As we enter
- 32:15Speaker 10: a second month without funding for the Department of Homeland
- 32:18Speaker 10: Security TSA workers missed their first full paycheck on this Friday,
- 32:22Speaker 10: President Trump acknowledged those workers in a post and truth
- 32:26Speaker 10: social writing quote, keep fighting for the USA, go to
- 32:30Speaker 10: work in all caps. I promise that I will never
- 32:33Speaker 10: forget you. He also blamed Democrats for the DHS shut down,
- 32:37Speaker 10: saying they should vote to restore funding for the department.
- 32:40Speaker 10: The TSA employees about fifty thousand agents around the country.
- 32:43Speaker 10: Security screening lines have also been stacking up in many
- 32:47Speaker 10: airports and without spring break travel, and with spring break
- 32:50Speaker 10: travel ramping up, officials worried that increasing absences could exacerbate
- 32:55Speaker 10: the situation. So he's telling the mess go to work.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Hey, y.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Yeah, you.
- 33:05Speaker 8: Is this Donald Trump? Of course, I don't you know.
- 33:09Speaker 9: I'm not surprised at anything he says or dogs.
- 33:13Speaker 8: This guy right here, I don't understand.
- 33:15Speaker 9: And what's really troubling me now is the reaction that
- 33:19Speaker 9: some of the mega supporters are having about this war.
- 33:23Speaker 9: I don't care who you are. You could be Barack Obama,
- 33:26Speaker 9: you could be Lyndon Baine Johnson, you could be Bill Clinton.
- 33:29Speaker 9: You're not taking me to war, and I ain't got
- 33:32Speaker 9: no questions about that.
- 33:33Speaker 8: You're just not gonna do that. I don't care who
- 33:36Speaker 8: the president is.
- 33:37Speaker 9: And for them not to question this guy tell me
- 33:40Speaker 9: about I think he's doing the right thing.
- 33:41Speaker 8: Explain why we're over there, all right over.
- 33:45Speaker 11: There, because we don't want to talk about what's going
- 33:47Speaker 11: on over here?
- 33:50Speaker 10: Coming coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show

- 35:04Speaker 10: rather do the boots on the ground line dance all day?
- 35:08Speaker 8: Boots on the ground You're gonna pull something doing that river.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Dance strong ankles for that one.
- 35:13Speaker 8: Yeah. They say men ain't supposed to do that dance?
- 35:16Speaker 8: Is that true?
- 35:17Speaker 10: What boots on the ground? Yeah, because of the fan,
- 35:20Speaker 10: because of the man.
- 35:21Speaker 7: I don't know it.
- 35:22Speaker 11: Okay, try that river dance for two minutes and watch
- 35:26Speaker 11: with you.
- 35:27Speaker 8: You're gonna pull like I'm the river dance with them
- 35:28Speaker 8: white kids.
- 35:29Speaker 9: I'm gonna have my by my side dance and look
- 35:32Speaker 9: and put that disinterested look on my face.
- 35:36Speaker 8: Because man, they.
- 35:37Speaker 9: Don't be smiling nothing. They have their arms down at
- 35:41Speaker 9: their side. I'll be going there nothing dancing, but they
- 35:44Speaker 9: lower legs.
- 35:46Speaker 8: That's great, hands on your hip.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 35:51Speaker 10: Would you rather work at a county fair or would
- 35:54Speaker 10: you rather work at a water park?
- 35:56Speaker 9: That faun I'm about the County found water dogs and yeah,
- 36:01Speaker 9: I'm at the fair. I used to work at an
- 36:03Speaker 9: amusement park. Really yeah, and I mean well I was
- 36:08Speaker 9: in college.
- 36:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I work.
- 36:10Speaker 9: I was the dude that worked a game where I
- 36:12Speaker 9: could guess your age, your birthday, or your weight.
- 36:15Speaker 8: I was good at that.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Uh huh, that's not the question.
- 36:19Speaker 8: Question what did you steal while you were working at
- 36:21Speaker 8: the front. That's why I don't work there. No, more.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Stealing on the job. But what could you still there?
- 36:30Speaker 1: I mean in your booth? What was there to steal?
- 36:33Speaker 9: You don't move around. Here's a dual around the age,
- 36:37Speaker 9: weight and birthday. The birthdays you don't have to get.
- 36:39Speaker 9: They don't care nothing about that because it's too hard
- 36:43Speaker 9: to guess somebody's birthday. But age and weight is where
- 36:46Speaker 9: you had to be good at and you had to
- 36:48Speaker 9: be within your age. I had to be within one
- 36:53Speaker 9: up or down. And weight I had to be within
- 36:55Speaker 9: three pounds. And the way you check weight, did you
- 36:59Speaker 9: touch a person's arm?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Oh, Charles did?
- 37:03Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 37:03Speaker 9: You to touch a person's arms and the muscle tone
- 37:06Speaker 9: tells you that, and then you look at their height,
- 37:09Speaker 9: and then there's a mental graph you make of how.
- 37:12Speaker 8: Wire they are.
- 37:13Speaker 9: Oh wow, all right, and it's good because most people
- 37:17Speaker 9: at the fair fat and soft, so.
- 37:20Speaker 8: Most people after fair fat and soft. You heard it?
- 37:26Speaker 1: All right, Well this is the way you can get there.
- 37:29Speaker 10: Would you rather eat five funnel cakes or eight fried

- 38:15Speaker 12: and hard to reach places.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Like behind the toilet.
- 38:18Speaker 12: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning

- 38:32Speaker 10: Here we are, guys, the last break of the day
- 38:35Speaker 10: on this Tuesday. Before we get out of here, Junior,
- 38:40Speaker 10: you have a question for Steve.
- 38:42Speaker 7: I do have a question for unk Man. Uh uh.
- 38:44Speaker 13: You know, we ain't going through this thing called life aunk,
- 38:47Speaker 13: and we get the blessings that we've been looking for,
- 38:51Speaker 13: and then you know, we keep going and then the
- 38:53Speaker 13: minute it stops or something happens, we just forget to
- 38:57Speaker 13: be thankful. Sometimes, you know, we get the blessed all right,
- 39:00Speaker 13: everything's going good. But then it stops, and we want
- 39:03Speaker 13: to how do we adjust to that? It doesn't mean
- 39:06Speaker 13: that doesn't stop. Well, I mean when you say it stops,
- 39:09Speaker 13: what are you talking about? Like everything going good for
- 39:12Speaker 13: two months, then you get a you get a hiccup,
- 39:15Speaker 13: and then your attitude changes.
- 39:17Speaker 9: Well, the hiccup is Listen, you have to expect the hiccup.
- 39:24Speaker 9: It's not gonna be When has it ever been smoothed?
- 39:29Speaker 9: I mean, when has it ever been completely smoothed for anybody?
- 39:34Speaker 9: As a child, did it ever go completely smooth? When
- 39:39Speaker 9: you was riding your bike? You don't remember falling. When
- 39:43Speaker 9: you went to the park to play basketball. You won
- 39:46Speaker 9: all the games you went out there and you race somebody.
- 39:50Speaker 9: It ain't nobody beat you, bruh be. You've been getting
- 39:56Speaker 9: taught this your entire life, So don't be amazed when
- 40:01Speaker 9: you get here as an adult and expect it not
- 40:04Speaker 9: to go that way.
- 40:06Speaker 8: Because let me tell you what I've learned.
- 40:11Speaker 9: The older you get, life gets more increasingly difficult. You
- 40:20Speaker 9: just get better at handling it. That's really the truth
- 40:25Speaker 9: of the matter. Life continues to get more and more
- 40:30Speaker 9: increasingly difficult, you just get better at handling it. I mean,
- 40:36Speaker 9: think about it, man, Do you know how hard it
- 40:39Speaker 9: is to become successful at anything on any level? If
- 40:44Speaker 9: you want to be supervisor at the post office, that's hard.
- 40:48Speaker 9: If you want to climb the corporate letter, that's hard.
- 40:52Speaker 9: If you want to make a teacher of the Year,
- 40:55Speaker 9: that's hard. If you want to get the salesman an
- 40:58Speaker 9: employee of a month, that's hard.
- 41:02Speaker 8: Any time you achieve.
- 41:04Speaker 9: Or set out to accomplish something above the norm, it's
- 41:08Speaker 9: going to require extra, and in that that that comes
- 41:14Speaker 9: with it becomes set back. That's how the other person
- 41:17Speaker 9: didn't win employee of the month. That's how the other
- 41:20Speaker 9: person didn't become supervisor. That's how the other person dropped
- 41:24Speaker 9: off the corporate letter because they weren't willing to do
- 41:28Speaker 9: all the things that were necessary.
- 41:31Speaker 8: Because it got hard.
- 41:34Speaker 9: It's going to get hard, and it becomes increasingly difficult
- 41:38Speaker 9: the holder you get.
- 41:39Speaker 8: And then I got some hiss or other news for you.
- 41:44Speaker 9: Even after I mastered the one thing I was good at,
- 41:49Speaker 9: I mastered one thing.
- 41:51Speaker 8: And the thing that has kept me going more than
- 41:55Speaker 8: anything is that I learned how to suffer.
- 42:03Speaker 9: I just know how to suffer, so I don't care
- 42:06Speaker 9: what you do I don't care what you say. I
- 42:10Speaker 9: don't care what meme you make. I don't care what
- 42:13Speaker 9: lie you spew about me. You're not going to beat me.
- 42:20Speaker 8: I am. You can't defeat me. Now.
- 42:25Speaker 9: You can put dents in me, you can slow me up,
- 42:30Speaker 9: you know, you can cause me some discomfort.
- 42:34Speaker 8: But you can't beat me though. You just can't.
- 42:39Speaker 9: I'm unbeatable because I have mastered the art of suffering.
- 42:47Speaker 8: I know how to suffer extremely well.
- 42:51Speaker 9: And when you're dealing with somebody like that, man that
- 42:53Speaker 9: knows how to suffer, that's not going to get up
- 42:56Speaker 9: and got faith, boy boy man by bruh, you wasting
- 43:02Speaker 9: your time with me.
- 43:04Speaker 8: You ain't doing nothing but wasting your time.
- 43:07Speaker 9: I was thumbing through the internet yesterday and an old
- 43:10Speaker 9: comedian that I haven't talked to, and probably last time
- 43:14Speaker 9: I talked to him, I was on TV show out
- 43:16Speaker 9: in LA. It was a long time ago. He was
- 43:18Speaker 9: on a podcast saying something negative about me. I ain't
- 43:21Speaker 9: even know me and the dude had a problem. I
- 43:23Speaker 9: really didn't. I was actually sat there in Washington's going
- 43:26Speaker 9: when did that come from? I didn't even know that,
- 43:30Speaker 9: but I had to remember something. He is old and irrelevant.
- 43:35Speaker 9: So now to be relevant, he gonna get on a
- 43:38Speaker 9: podcast and like share some what he called breaking news
- 43:42Speaker 9: about me.
- 43:44Speaker 8: Man.
- 43:45Speaker 9: And that's the thing, y'all. People that ain't about nothing,
- 43:52Speaker 9: you know what they talk about other people. That's all
- 43:56Speaker 9: you got to do, man, all you got to do
- 43:58Speaker 9: is watch the subject matter when you see somebody on
- 44:01Speaker 9: these podcasts.
- 44:02Speaker 8: See podcasts is the new.
- 44:03Speaker 9: Well of making an old washed up has been make
- 44:07Speaker 9: him feel relevant. I got invited on so and so's podcasts, okay,
- 44:12Speaker 9: And then you get on there and guess what they
- 44:14Speaker 9: do instead of talking about what they got going on,
- 44:16Speaker 9: promoting their next project or something, they.
- 44:19Speaker 8: Choose to talk about other people.
- 44:22Speaker 9: And the other people they talking about are usually more
- 44:24Speaker 9: successful than them. You gotta be aware of that. So
- 44:27Speaker 9: and I know all of that. That's why I'm saying
- 44:29Speaker 9: you can't beat me. I'm unbeatable, man. I know how
- 44:32Speaker 9: to suffer, and I got faith. I got God Almighty
- 44:35Speaker 9: on my side.
- 44:37Speaker 8: Y'all.
- 44:38Speaker 9: It is going to be hard if you are making
- 44:42Speaker 9: the decision to change for the better. Get used to it.
- 44:45Speaker 9: It's a part of the process. And then I got
- 44:48Speaker 9: news for it. My part two to this tomorrow is
- 44:50Speaker 9: gonna be what happens when you get old, because here's
- 44:57Speaker 9: the statement I'm gonna make. Getting old is not for sissies.
- 45:02Speaker 9: I just want to tell you that right now, getting
- 45:05Speaker 9: old is not for sissies. Part two tomorrow, y'all have
- 45:09Speaker 9: a great day.
- 45:10Speaker 8: Talk to God.
- 45:11Speaker 2: He loved to hear from you, almost for God.
