- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn You probably got to turn the mouth turn out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Turn the water the water up, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out. You think that, Uh.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 7: the voice, come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:09Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o man, oh man, Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 7: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 7: me is overwhelming at times. And I want everybody to
- 2:24Speaker 7: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:27Speaker 7: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:31Speaker 7: it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:34Speaker 7: formed a relationship with my creator.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Period.
- 2:37Speaker 2: That's it. That's that's it.
- 2:40Speaker 7: I can't tell you as anything else else. You know,
- 2:42Speaker 7: I've always had a strong work ethic. My father put
- 2:45Speaker 7: that in me. My father's conversation with me growing up
- 2:49Speaker 7: was always constantly about work hard, don't be lazy, be
- 2:53Speaker 7: a man, do what you say You're gonna do YadA YadA, YadA,
- 2:56Speaker 7: YadA YadA. Man, I was so tired of my father
- 2:59Speaker 7: at times. I was going, Man, what is with this dude?
- 3:01Speaker 2: Right here?
- 3:02Speaker 7: Man, every time we have a conversation, it's got to
- 3:05Speaker 7: be about work. It's got to be about you know, man,
- 3:08Speaker 7: doing your best, trying hard, you know, working, being honest,
- 3:13Speaker 7: do what you say you're gonna do. But that was
- 3:15Speaker 7: his mission. I can't tell you how much I appreciate
- 3:19Speaker 7: that now. I can't even I can't even put it
- 3:22Speaker 7: into words when I think about my old man and
- 3:26Speaker 7: what he was to me, and I just, man, I'm
- 3:31Speaker 7: so grateful for that balance I had in my life.
- 3:34Speaker 7: And then my father was a fighter. He fought on
- 3:37Speaker 7: the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:40Speaker 7: My father used to come home with his clothes toe
- 3:43Speaker 7: off of him. He put a fresh shirt on, and
- 3:45Speaker 7: he go back. My mom used to talk about my
- 3:48Speaker 7: father fighting all the time, slick, while you are always fighting.
- 3:52Speaker 7: You know, a little bit of that rubbed off on
- 3:54Speaker 7: me too, you know that that kind of got into me.
- 3:56Speaker 7: And I didn't understand that either. But then, underst same term,
- 4:00Speaker 7: my mother was a Sunday school teacher for forty years,
- 4:03Speaker 7: so her conversation was never about fighting and anything. It
- 4:06Speaker 7: was all about love and understanding and doing another that
- 4:10Speaker 7: you would have to do unto you. My mom was
- 4:11Speaker 7: a Sunday school teacher, so I learned about faith. I
- 4:14Speaker 7: had to go to Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study,
- 4:18Speaker 7: young people meeting, choir rehearsal. You know, I was a
- 4:21Speaker 7: church man so much. I was actually looking as there's
- 4:24Speaker 7: got to be an alternative to this, you know, I
- 4:27Speaker 7: want you know, And I was a little kid even
- 4:29Speaker 7: I was thinking at one point, maybe I ought to
- 4:31Speaker 7: look into Hell because there's got to be something cooler
- 4:34Speaker 7: than this going on every day. It had got that
- 4:37Speaker 7: crazy for me. But the balance between those two people
- 4:40Speaker 7: created who I am today. And I want you to
- 4:43Speaker 7: understand that the things that you are in your past
- 4:47Speaker 7: have helped create who you are today. If you view
- 4:51Speaker 7: it the right way, everything that has happened to you
- 4:55Speaker 7: in your past has happened to you for a reason,
- 4:59Speaker 7: and it's you for the good if you view it
- 5:03Speaker 7: that way. But if you, on the other hand, or
- 5:07Speaker 7: a type of person who can't move forward because you
- 5:10Speaker 7: are allowing your past to stop you from having your future,
- 5:16Speaker 7: then you, my friend, are doing a disservice to your life.
- 5:21Speaker 7: You are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking
- 5:25Speaker 7: advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Example, if you.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Are a woman and you are always talking about a
- 5:40Speaker 7: former relationship, what he did to me. If he had
- 5:44Speaker 7: not did this to me, I wouldn't be in this
- 5:48Speaker 7: place today. I thought I had a man. Now I
- 5:52Speaker 7: ain't got no man ah llah lah lah la lah
- 5:57Speaker 7: if I you know, he came along that I was
- 6:00Speaker 7: doing just swell. He just came in and he just
- 6:04Speaker 7: lied to me. He lied to me, nod, he did
- 6:07Speaker 7: this to me. Then he cheated, then he left. All
- 6:11Speaker 7: of that that you're saying can very well be true.
- 6:16Speaker 7: Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom,
- 6:25Speaker 7: that he knew that you had made a mistake in
- 6:29Speaker 7: picking him anyway? Maybe he knew you had made a
- 6:34Speaker 7: mistake in saying yes or I do to him anyway,
- 6:38Speaker 7: or come on move in? And so what he did
- 6:43Speaker 7: was based on your decision now to say yes, I
- 6:48Speaker 7: do or come on let's move in together. That was
- 6:51Speaker 7: your decision. You ain't go to him about this one.
- 6:54Speaker 7: You made this decision based on that decision and all
- 6:59Speaker 7: the negative things that started happening.
- 7:02Speaker 2: He allowed you to get away from it.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Now how you got away from it, It's always not
- 7:08Speaker 7: the choice of ours. See, you stuck on the fact
- 7:11Speaker 7: that he left, that he walked out. But let me
- 7:15Speaker 7: share this with you.
- 7:16Speaker 2: When he was there, how good was he? Tell you?
- 7:19Speaker 7: How good was he for you? See, you got to
- 7:23Speaker 7: stare at you got to look at the blessing. The
- 7:26Speaker 7: blessing is. Now you are on your own. Now you
- 7:30Speaker 7: walk in your house. Ain't nobody in there with a
- 7:33Speaker 7: disruptive spirit. Now you go home. You could take your
- 7:36Speaker 7: clothes off, walk around like you want to. Now you
- 7:39Speaker 7: go home, you can sit down and look at TV
- 7:43Speaker 7: or catch your breath if you want to. Your kids
- 7:48Speaker 7: don't have to see y'all arguing all the time. Have
- 7:51Speaker 7: you looked at the blessing in it? But now if
- 7:54Speaker 7: you gonna keep looking at the negative, then guess what.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Now you can't move forward because you keep allowing your
- 8:03Speaker 7: past to keep you from moving forward. If God has
- 8:07Speaker 7: brought you through it, why don't you move on from it? Look,
- 8:12Speaker 7: you got through it, He gone, he ain't coming back.
- 8:15Speaker 7: He got somebody else. So you gonna sit there and
- 8:18Speaker 7: just keep tripping couts. He gone and he got somebody else. Hey,
- 8:23Speaker 7: pick yourself up. Thank God for the blessing. It didn't
- 8:27Speaker 7: feel like a blessing. Why you was going through it,
- 8:29Speaker 7: and all the pain of him leaving and the divorce
- 8:32Speaker 7: and all that messed you up? Got it when you
- 8:35Speaker 7: get through it, all of that. You ain't the first
- 8:37Speaker 7: one being left. You ain't the first one being divorced.
- 8:41Speaker 7: You ain't the first one been in a bad relationship.
- 8:43Speaker 7: Pick yourself up, thank God for the blessing, and move
- 8:48Speaker 7: forward in your life, because maybe when you quit complaining,
- 8:53Speaker 7: maybe you'll find out that God has something in store
- 8:57Speaker 7: for you that he wants you to have, but he
- 8:59Speaker 7: can't and give it to you if you ain't grateful.
- 9:02Speaker 7: So God gives you a blessing, but because you don't
- 9:05Speaker 7: see it as a blessing, you ain't grateful for it. Now,
- 9:08Speaker 7: guess what, You steady asking God to do something for you,
- 9:12Speaker 7: but you ain't thanking him for what he's done for you,
- 9:15Speaker 7: but you steady wanting him to do more.
- 9:17Speaker 2: How does that work? How does that work?
- 9:20Speaker 8: Man?
- 9:21Speaker 7: That He should keep on giving you things when you
- 9:23Speaker 7: ain't even working with the stuff he didne gave you
- 9:27Speaker 7: and I don't know. And I'm just using that one example.
- 9:30Speaker 7: It could go for me and too, vice versa, and
- 9:33Speaker 7: so on and so forth. I'm just using that as
- 9:35Speaker 7: an example. Now, why I laid on that one so long?
- 9:39Speaker 7: You have to take that over God. That's all just set.
- 9:42Speaker 7: I ain't pointing fingers at nobody in nothing, because I've
- 9:45Speaker 7: been guilty on both sides of the coin.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Who am I? But I'm just sharing with you what
- 9:50Speaker 2: I had to do.
- 9:52Speaker 7: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:55Speaker 7: interfere with my future.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me have you
- 10:06Speaker 7: undivided attention.
- 10:08Speaker 2: You know what God is in the blessing business. He
- 10:10Speaker 2: really is.
- 10:12Speaker 7: I didn't get a chance to properly thank him this morning.
- 10:15Speaker 7: I really didn't. And so I want to stop right
- 10:18Speaker 7: now and tell God how much I appreciate it on
- 10:22Speaker 7: every level, on every facet of my life, because I
- 10:26Speaker 7: am who I am because God is who he is.
- 10:30Speaker 7: If it wasn't for God, I never would have been nothing.
- 10:33Speaker 7: I'm flat out telling you that's a fact. He is
- 10:37Speaker 7: the author. He is the architect of my future. I
- 10:41Speaker 7: am in his hands, and I am grateful for that.
- 10:44Speaker 7: I'm learning more and more how to trust in his timing.
- 10:48Speaker 7: I've learned more and more how to not be anxious
- 10:51Speaker 7: for anything. And it's such a peacefulfieling to let him drive, man,
- 10:58Speaker 7: Because I saw something online that mattered to me. It said,
- 11:02Speaker 7: you get in the uber, you don't know the driver,
- 11:05Speaker 7: You sit back and relax. You get on an airplane,
- 11:08Speaker 7: you never met the pilot. You buckle up your seatbelt
- 11:11Speaker 7: and you fall asleep, he said, And you don't even
- 11:15Speaker 7: know these people.
- 11:16Speaker 2: So why would you Why would you not let God.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Take you somewhere? He know the way and he's the
- 11:24Speaker 7: best driver ever. Sit back, be in peace, and enjoy
- 11:28Speaker 7: your life.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Welcome to the n.

- 12:30Speaker 7: about Thomas Miles slash Nephew Thomas. He has taken this
- 12:39Speaker 7: ignorance of his his stupidity and molded it into a career.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Would you have to give a person credit who does that? Really?
- 12:53Speaker 7: Because I was told my entire life you're not going
- 12:57Speaker 7: to mount to anything. And all of those people that
- 13:02Speaker 7: told me that, most of them's watching right watching inky popcorn.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm on sawatching the show just like the face.
- 13:14Speaker 2: It had got nothing to do with April at.

- 14:31Speaker 11: Hello.
- 14:32Speaker 10: Hello, I'm trying to reach a Denise. Please.
- 14:35Speaker 12: Yes, this is she.
- 14:36Speaker 10: Hi Denise. My name is Gavin. I'm actually the head
- 14:39Speaker 10: jeweler here, Diamond.
- 14:40Speaker 12: No, how you doing?
- 14:41Speaker 10: I'm good? You brought your ring in? What was it
- 14:44Speaker 10: last week? I actually wasn't here, but you gave it
- 14:46Speaker 10: to one of my salespersons. And yes, you wanted to
- 14:50Speaker 10: get it resized as well as as get it a praise.
- 14:53Speaker 12: Correct, yes, yes, yes, and you don't have to tell him.
- 14:55Speaker 12: I did them on my own.
- 14:58Speaker 10: Okay, wow, Okay, listen, I actually do the resize of
- 15:02Speaker 10: the ring. And first of all, let me be the
- 15:04Speaker 10: person to say, congratulations, when is your wedding?
- 15:08Speaker 12: Thank you. I'm getting married in September.
- 15:10Speaker 10: Well, congratulations to thank you. Listen. I don't know how
- 15:13Speaker 10: to tell you this now. As far as the appraisers concern,
- 15:16Speaker 10: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 15:21Speaker 10: ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars.
- 15:23Speaker 12: Excuse me.
- 15:24Speaker 10: I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 15:26Speaker 12: But you know what, I'm confused on what you just said.
- 15:28Speaker 10: And I understand that what I'm trying to explain to
- 15:30Speaker 10: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 15:32Speaker 10: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 15:35Speaker 10: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 15:39Speaker 10: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
- 15:42Speaker 10: a Cubic Ziconian stone and the gold is not real
- 15:47Speaker 10: at all.
- 15:47Speaker 12: It's like cool, wait, wait, you lost me. You lost
- 15:50Speaker 12: me as much money as my fandmake and as much
- 15:53Speaker 12: money as my father is putting down on his wedding
- 15:56Speaker 12: or half put down.
- 15:57Speaker 10: And you're going to say, I understand everything you're saying,
- 15:59Speaker 10: but he's honest.
- 16:01Speaker 12: What I need you to do is hold on. Know
- 16:04Speaker 12: I need you to hold on because we need to
- 16:06Speaker 12: call victims.
- 16:07Speaker 10: Wait. Wait, man, First of all, I can't wait, wait wait, wait,
- 16:11Speaker 10: hold on? You want to say, will you wait wait? Wait?
- 16:18Speaker 10: What are you trying to What are you trying to do?
- 16:20Speaker 12: Sir? I need I need you to repeat what you
- 16:23Speaker 12: just said to me.
- 16:24Speaker 10: Okay, that's what middle of personal stuff.
- 16:27Speaker 12: Man, you oh you're in it. It's personal.
- 16:29Speaker 11: Now.
- 16:30Speaker 12: I need you to hold on.
- 16:31Speaker 10: Okay, oh she called her man.
- 16:35Speaker 13: Okay, hello victim.
- 16:38Speaker 12: Even listen to this zilla that's on the phone. I
- 16:40Speaker 12: want you to hear it that he just told me
- 16:42Speaker 12: what's what's the problem? What you mean, what's the problem.
- 16:44Speaker 12: He's gonna tell you what the problem is. Gonna hit on, sir,
- 16:46Speaker 12: don't hit on?
- 16:47Speaker 11: Who?
- 16:48Speaker 10: Hello? Yeah?
- 16:48Speaker 6: Who is this?
- 16:49Speaker 10: My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds and actually your wife,
- 16:54Speaker 10: I mean, what are your fiance? Rather, she brought her
- 16:56Speaker 10: ring in to actually be resized, and we we all
- 17:00Speaker 10: so did an appraisal on the ring for her, and
- 17:03Speaker 10: actually the ring is estimated to be only in the
- 17:06Speaker 10: work of around fifty dollars.
- 17:08Speaker 12: Fifty dollars. Dollars fifty that's what the man said, willy.
- 17:12Speaker 13: Dollars in these holds these, sir, Obviously there's some sort
- 17:16Speaker 13: of mistake.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Sir.
- 17:16Speaker 12: Now what you got to say about that big hold
- 17:18Speaker 12: on fifty dollars?
- 17:20Speaker 13: That's got to be some kind of mistake.
- 17:22Speaker 2: So what'd you say?
- 17:22Speaker 13: Your name wan was, sir?
- 17:23Speaker 10: My name is Gavin. I work here at Diamonds. I'm
- 17:25Speaker 10: the head jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years.
- 17:28Speaker 13: And there's no way that that ring is worth fifty dollars.
- 17:32Speaker 13: I know what I paid for it, So obviously there's
- 17:34Speaker 13: some sort of mistake.
- 17:36Speaker 10: There's not a mistake. I've been dealing with jewelry. I've
- 17:38Speaker 10: seen it. I can pretty much look at a ring,
- 17:41Speaker 10: but I actually went into detail on this one, as
- 17:43Speaker 10: I do all of them, And Sir, I promise you
- 17:45Speaker 10: this is probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars before
- 17:49Speaker 10: as workers got.
- 17:50Speaker 13: Now, absolutely not. That's that's impossible.
- 17:53Speaker 12: How is that impossible? He's a jeweler. You heard it
- 17:55Speaker 12: say you've been doing it for twenty years. Is that impossible?
- 17:58Speaker 12: I want the money that my daddy putting down on
- 18:01Speaker 12: this wedding, and you don't pay fifty dollars.
- 18:04Speaker 10: You bought a cheap ring?
- 18:06Speaker 13: No, no, no, I did not buy a teaping. This
- 18:09Speaker 13: is this is this is obviously some kind of mistake.
- 18:11Speaker 13: You didn't got it.
- 18:11Speaker 12: You show got that right, You show got that right.
- 18:14Speaker 12: So what you got to say for yourself? This dollar?
- 18:17Speaker 10: Okay?
- 18:18Speaker 13: You can't. I believe that that's right.
- 18:19Speaker 12: That's this is obviously some kind of Oh, it is
- 18:22Speaker 12: a mistake of respect thinking I'm gonna get married to
- 18:25Speaker 12: the man of my dream.
- 18:26Speaker 10: I do have the engagement ring that was purchased and
- 18:29Speaker 10: bought for your wife. No, I don't think you I
- 18:31Speaker 10: don't think you do.
- 18:31Speaker 13: I don't think you have my rings, because if you
- 18:33Speaker 13: have my ring, you wouldn't be telling me this worth
- 18:35Speaker 13: fifty dollars.
- 18:36Speaker 10: I have the ring that your wife that your fiance brought.
- 18:39Speaker 13: It ain't his wife yet, held on hold on the
- 18:42Speaker 13: man trying to explain, I'm trying to get you the buka.
- 18:45Speaker 13: Thank you, so you have I don't think you have
- 18:48Speaker 13: the right ring.

- 23:29Speaker 7: somebody's husband. You do know that, right. I ain't passing
- 23:32Speaker 7: judgment on you, but you know that right. You move
- 23:35Speaker 7: closer to be with him, which means you're not actually

- 25:02Speaker 1: to help her up, and my wife has been on

- 25:12Speaker 2: Okay, keep picking them up, Okay, Okay.
- 25:16Speaker 7: Ain't nobody else running over there except you, and that's
- 25:19Speaker 7: what you're always gonna do.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:24Speaker 1: So you think it was wrong of him to help

- 25:27Speaker 2: She fell, Absolutely not.
- 25:29Speaker 1: It wasn't wrong. Okay.

- 25:35Speaker 2: But that ain't that helper that you live with. See.
- 25:41Speaker 7: What happened was this little young fine thing went running back,
- 25:46Speaker 7: and the fact that you was watching her that hard
- 25:49Speaker 7: that as soon as she failed, YO were running right
- 25:52Speaker 7: behind it.

- 26:43Speaker 1: but I know for a fact he's barely used to
- 26:45Speaker 1: his new washing machine. And he's not using a laundry service.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Can I ask him about this or not?
- 26:51Speaker 2: He's not. Yeah, you can. You can ask him about him.

- 27:42Speaker 1: giving me a list of things we need from the
- 27:45Speaker 1: store and he gets mad because I have it all delivered.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Why does he care how I get the groceries? Why?
- 27:52Speaker 1: I don't know, because it's extra money. What I mean
- 28:00Speaker 1: don't know.

- 29:29Speaker 6: Go ahead, get a pack of bacon, some sugar, throw
- 29:33Speaker 6: some sugar in. Then let's just throw something in there.
- 29:35Speaker 6: Some pepperrika on a.
- 29:36Speaker 7: Spicy Okay, I know where to bacon that because that's
- 29:40Speaker 7: on the outside out.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I'll be able to find that.
- 29:44Speaker 7: Then I look under the aisle that say, oh, spices
- 29:48Speaker 7: on it, spices and baked goods. Okay, Now, because I
- 29:53Speaker 7: used to work in the grocery store, so and them
- 29:55Speaker 7: still the signs they got. I can get that pepperica
- 29:58Speaker 7: down there on the right side, but that fly gonna
- 30:00Speaker 7: be on the other side, on the bottom shelf.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I can get that.
- 30:04Speaker 3: And now do you know where you can get the eggs,
- 30:07Speaker 3: the yogurt, the juice.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Is on the outside out.
- 30:11Speaker 1: That's good stock that all right.

- 30:39Speaker 1: wrong with Kanye West? That is the question, girl, We
- 30:44Speaker 1: got to ask it. I mean, he showed up to
- 30:47Speaker 1: an interview wearing what appeared to be a Black KKK
- 30:51Speaker 1: inspired outfit, all right, with the big black hood and everything.
- 30:55Speaker 1: The eyes cut out all.
- 30:57Speaker 2: On social media?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Wasn't it crazy? What is going on here? Conversation?
- 31:03Speaker 2: It wasn't nothing?
- 31:04Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Like he didn't have this, Yeah yeah.

- 31:15Speaker 1: Yeah you saw it, Steve, I know you did.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I've seen. I've seen the whole thing.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah. During the interview, Kanye said blank Jay z uh
- 31:24Speaker 1: and he never wanted to have kids with Kim Kardashian.
- 31:28Speaker 1: He said, Drake is better than Kendrick Lamar, and he
- 31:31Speaker 1: went on and on and used a lot of inappropriate language.
- 31:36Speaker 7: Wow.
- 31:36Speaker 1: He also said, haven't you read the Bible? God is
- 31:40Speaker 1: an angry god. God is a jealous God. And I'm
- 31:42Speaker 1: the closest thing to God you have on this earth.
- 31:45Speaker 10: What.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's the black Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I watched the whole thing.
- 31:52Speaker 7: And he's upset because of the way he's claiming that
- 31:57Speaker 7: Kim is dressing the little girl and you know, she
- 32:02Speaker 7: looks like she's being thinking. I don't want to misquoting,
- 32:05Speaker 7: but anyway, he don't like the way he thanks it's inappropriate.
- 32:08Speaker 7: But what I would try to remind Kanye of is you,
- 32:11Speaker 7: as her father, are the greatest example he has of
- 32:15Speaker 7: how to be treated by a man. And if you
- 32:19Speaker 7: let your wife walk around, which this girl is seeing
- 32:22Speaker 7: in these lolly banana skins and just a damn boat
- 32:26Speaker 7: town and a and a and a propylactic, then you
- 32:30Speaker 7: sitting up in here and your daughter see this. You're
- 32:33Speaker 7: not You're not you know, bro, you can't bro he
- 32:36Speaker 7: all over the place. I'm but okay, you do, remember
- 32:41Speaker 7: mom and my kids Dad. He's a genius. I kept
- 32:43Speaker 7: telling me what I kept saying.
- 32:47Speaker 1: So so should some Is it time for a wellness
- 32:50Speaker 1: check with Kanye? I mean, is there something that can
- 32:53Speaker 1: be done about this?
- 32:55Speaker 2: He's not gonna listen. He's self destructive.
- 32:57Speaker 7: All these comments about uh, the derogatory, homophobic names he's using,
- 33:03Speaker 7: steady talking about Jewish people. Bro, this ain't gonna get you.
- 33:07Speaker 7: This ain't gonna get you nowhere, bru. And then I'm
- 33:11Speaker 7: telling the truth. And then, you know what, sometimes just
- 33:13Speaker 7: for entertainment. I read the comments. It is alarming, alarming
- 33:20Speaker 7: how many people are going. He a truth teller. We
- 33:23Speaker 7: gotta protect him. He's right, he's the only one standing
- 33:27Speaker 7: up telling the truth. Bro, y'all gotta quit enabling bad behavior.
- 33:33Speaker 7: This is this is not the way it's done. Yeah, No,
- 33:37Speaker 7: it's it's it's it's yeah, it'sturbing. I'm gonna tell you
- 33:43Speaker 7: the one that got me when he was talking about
- 33:46Speaker 7: John Legend wearing sweaters in bar Betos, Tosa whatever, Legend
- 33:52Speaker 7: wearing all them sweaters in bar betos. You're standing up
- 33:57Speaker 7: there in a black clan outfit and you wearing about
- 34:02Speaker 7: John Legend having on a sweater. Yeah, I was sitting
- 34:07Speaker 7: there going, doesn't.
- 34:10Speaker 10: It?
- 34:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:12Speaker 7: It just.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Dragon I'm just watching this dude. Man, it's really really
- 34:21Speaker 2: sad man.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Because we're seeing the destruction of him.
- 34:26Speaker 7: Look, man, y'all didn't come to not rescue when Adidas
- 34:29Speaker 7: was freezing my accounts. Brother, listen to me, when you
- 34:32Speaker 7: signed that big deal with Adidas, you didn't come to
- 34:36Speaker 7: the public and asked them who needed help and gave
- 34:39Speaker 7: them a piece of the deal. Now, when your deal
- 34:41Speaker 7: is falling apart, you can't be upset because nobody's coming
- 34:45Speaker 7: you to save the deal.
- 34:46Speaker 2: That's your deal.
- 34:48Speaker 7: Now, they froze two hundred and thirty million of your
- 34:51Speaker 7: dollars some of us, some of us would feel the
- 34:56Speaker 7: same way if you froze two thousand, three hundred dollar
- 35:00Speaker 7: do and some of us would feel the exact same
- 35:03Speaker 7: way if you froze two hundred and thirty dollars.
- 35:07Speaker 2: It's all right, relative homie.
- 35:09Speaker 1: You're right.
- 35:11Speaker 2: You got big money problems.
- 35:13Speaker 7: And when a person is coming up short two hundred
- 35:15Speaker 7: and thirty and it affects them, guess what, they got
- 35:18Speaker 7: a big money problem that hard. So you can't ask people, man,
- 35:23Speaker 7: just because you're talking about hundreds of millions, to feel
- 35:25Speaker 7: sorry for you, because no, man, we got to carry
- 35:28Speaker 7: our own Cross twenty three hundred same lock Up.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I tell you something crazy. I was watching that.
- 35:34Speaker 7: I was watching the show called lock Up right, and
- 35:36Speaker 7: this Arian Brotherhood guy was in jail his girlfriend. He
- 35:42Speaker 7: went in there for distributing myth. His girlfriend was a
- 35:45Speaker 7: meth addict. He had been in jail and it was
- 35:49Speaker 7: expecting her to raise the bail money to get him out.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Now he listened to me.
- 35:54Speaker 7: Now he been in jail seven months, even months, and
- 36:01Speaker 7: now you know they were the recorded phone calls, but
- 36:03Speaker 7: they live because they recording it.
- 36:05Speaker 2: So she's talking to him.
- 36:06Speaker 7: I almost had the money one time, but I had
- 36:09Speaker 7: to use it. Baby, How long is this gonna take?

- 56:44Speaker 2: we guide it for you. Here it is Strawberry.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Let up, Thank you, nephew. Subject the joke is on
- 56:50Speaker 1: me this time. Dear Stephen Shirley, maybe you can help me.
- 56:54Speaker 1: My wife and I have been married for six years
- 56:56Speaker 1: and we have one daughter. I'm thirty two and she's
- 57:01Speaker 1: We were young when we started dating, so we had
- 57:03Speaker 1: a few three ways and we went to the strip
- 57:05Speaker 1: club together all of the time. We both got saved
- 57:09Speaker 1: right after we got married, but I still got chills
- 57:12Speaker 1: when I heard my single friends talking about being with
- 57:15Speaker 1: two girls at one time. Like a dummy. I decided
- 57:19Speaker 1: to check in with my wife to see if she
- 57:21Speaker 1: wanted to go to the strip club with me and
- 57:22Speaker 1: a group of our friends. She said that she's not going,
- 57:26Speaker 1: nor am I. I didn't want an argument, so I
- 57:29Speaker 1: didn't push it. I went anyway, and I told her
- 57:32Speaker 1: I was playing cards with friends. She found out from
- 57:35Speaker 1: one of the girls that dates one of my friends.
- 57:38Speaker 1: She told me that if I want to play, then
- 57:40Speaker 1: it's on. I told her that women can't do what
- 57:43Speaker 1: men do, and I put my foot down and I
- 57:45Speaker 1: said that there's nothing wrong with going to the strip club.
- 57:49Speaker 1: She said fine, and that was it. I went a
- 57:52Speaker 1: few more times and I told her before I left.
- 57:55Speaker 1: She never said a word, so I thought it was cool.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Her birthday came around and she told me she was
- 58:00Speaker 1: going to Palm Springs with her sorority sisters. It was
- 58:05Speaker 1: a quick trip, so I was cool with it. A
- 58:07Speaker 1: week later, I found out that they rented a sprinter
- 58:11Speaker 1: and hired two male strippers to entertain them on the ride.
- 58:15Speaker 1: She and four other married women went. She was so
- 58:18Speaker 1: happy to admit that she lied to me. She won't
- 58:21Speaker 1: tell me where she stayed or where the two strippers stayed.
- 58:24Speaker 1: She told me that she doesn't question me, so she
- 58:27Speaker 1: wants the same grace. Okay, so the joke is on
- 58:31Speaker 1: me this time. This is not how I want my
- 58:33Speaker 1: marriage to go. How do we rebuild the trust? I
- 58:37Speaker 1: have to be honest with you. It is hard and
- 58:41Speaker 1: darn near impossible. In the beginning, trust is much easier
- 58:45Speaker 1: because no one has done anything to break that trust.
- 58:48Speaker 1: You haven't given your partner a reason to not trust you.
- 58:51Speaker 1: But all it all takes, All it takes is one time.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I'll just put it like that. All it takes is
- 58:58Speaker 1: one time. Then you're checking voicemails, you're checking social media posts,
- 59:04Speaker 1: you're pulling up on them at lunch, showing up at
- 59:07Speaker 1: their job, all because they did something to make you
- 59:10Speaker 1: not trust them. This thing that you did that you
- 59:13Speaker 1: knew you shouldn't have done, like going to the strip club,
- 59:16Speaker 1: has turned into a big, huge mess now and you
- 59:18Speaker 1: see that, and yeah, it is true. It's a double standard,
- 59:21Speaker 1: and women aren't supposed to do what men do in
- 59:24Speaker 1: this society and still be a lady. But in case
- 59:27Speaker 1: you haven't noticed times have changed. Some women these days
- 59:30Speaker 1: are really out for revenge when you do something to them.
- 59:33Speaker 1: They want you to feel that pain. They really really do.
- 59:36Speaker 1: They want to get back at you. So how do
- 59:39Speaker 1: you get the trust back? You ask? First, you better
- 59:41Speaker 1: find out if your wife wants to save this marriage,
- 59:44Speaker 1: because she is doing her thing right now. You've got
- 59:46Speaker 1: to stop going to strip clubs. You got to get
- 59:49Speaker 1: to work on your marriage, whether it's therapy, which I
- 59:51Speaker 1: do recommend for you guys, or whatever. But again, regaining
- 59:55Speaker 1: trust after it's broken, it's darn near impossible, but it
- 59:59Speaker 1: is possible.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: Steve, Well, this letter right here, brou First of all,
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: this this all on you, all, this on you, you, you, you,
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: you got you you. You did this one though, And
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: as really, I don't know if it's a lot I
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: can help you with, except that you come up with
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: a compromise. Now you know, y'all been married six years.
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: Y'all got a daughter, you thirty two, she thirty. Y'all
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: was young when y'all started dating. So y'all had a
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: few three ways and we went to the strip club
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: together all the time. We both got saved right after
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: we got married. I missed that part.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I ain't say that.
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: Oh I didn't see that that. That's a whole nother element. Oh,
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: thank you god.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: We both got saved right after we got married. That's key.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: So but I still got chills when I heard my
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: single friends talking about being.
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: With two girls at once. Okay, you got saved like
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: I didn't. I said, that's what happened?
- 1:01:21Speaker 10: What what?
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: He got saved like me?
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: I see.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: You know you got people that get saved and get
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: washed white as snow. Yeah yeah, me and here we
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: just got wrist off. We didn't get the whole whitest
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: snow version. We just got risked off. So I am
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: about to be able to relate to this strawberry letter
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: except what you're doing.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: But I do understand them.
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: I still got chills when I heard him talking about
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: being with two girls men now here he go like
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: a dummy. I decided to check my wife to see
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: if she wanted to go to the strip club with
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: me and a group of our friends.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: She said that she's not going.
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: Nor am I Now that seems reasonable, you know why
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: cause y'all saved?
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: No.
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: Ha, oh dog, I'm so glad I saw that. That
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: changes the parameters. So you took yourself. You'll say yourself
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: in there. Told your wife you're going and go back
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: down to the strip club with her and a group
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: of friends.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: She says she not going, nor am I. I will
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: tell you exactly why other than being saved that they
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: not going.
- 1:02:38Speaker 12: All right?
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: All right, all right, we'll have part two of your
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: response coming up to see at twenty three minutes after
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject is the joke is
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: on me this time we'll get back into it right
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: after this. Hey, this is Mary J. Blood diedly dudludulu douu.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: What's up, y'all? This is to see what's going on?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: This is your boy Kevin Hart.

- 1:03:51Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: The subject is the joke is on me this time.
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: Thirty two old man, thirty old woman. They've been dating
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: for a while, been married six years. They got a
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: three year old, okay, And before they got married, they
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: was wild, and they had a couple of three ways
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: they were and they had some couple three on threes
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: and you know, swanging and went.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: To the strip club together all the time.
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: Then after they got married, they both got saved, Lord Father, God,
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: thanks saved. But he got that version that I got
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: a lot of people get saved and get washed white
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: as snow. I just got rested off, and that much
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: looked like happened in him. But you didn't get rest
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: off good at all, though, though, of course, now you
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: set up in here and let your friends tell you
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: that they was with a couple of women at the
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: strip club and you still got cheated, and like a dummy,
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: this you need to.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: You need to go back to get you gotta go
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: get saved again, y'll because now.
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: You took your dumb you, you took your dumb booty
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: in down there to your wife to see if she
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: wanted to go to the strip club with me and
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: a group of our friends.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: She said she.
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: Ain't going, nor am I now here we go. You
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: know why she said that because y'all saved now. But
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: you know why she also said you ain't going and
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: I ain't going because she remembers.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: What y'all used to do when y'all got down.
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: And because y'all saved now, she don't want to reintroduce
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: that into the marriage. So she said, I'm not going
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: down there, and you ain't either, So you ain't want
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: an august.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: You ain't pushing. But guess what you did.
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: You went anyway, and you're told her you was playing
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: cards with a group of friends.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Well, one of your friend's wives found out a out
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: of and told you that she went to and and
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: she went on to that that that you went to
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: the strip club and you lied to her.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: She told you if you want to play in his
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: own I told her women can't do with me and doing.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: I put my foot down and said, there's nothing wrong
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: with going to the strip club.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Oh, I thought you got saved. You can't bruh.
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: Maybe you just got saved that day, or you need
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: to go get resaved dog, because you've just You're supposed
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: to last longer than this. He's supposed to give you
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: a moral barometer, accomplass. It's supposed to make you closer
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: walk with God. Where you can get some stript to
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: overcome your weaknesses, that's what it does.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Man. You done told her it ain't nothing wrong with
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: going to.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: The strip club. She say fine, cool. So I went
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: a few more times, and I told her before I
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: after she told you, I'm not going and you ain't
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: going on? So you said, I went a few more
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: times and I went, Now what you doing down?
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: There's a club?
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Though, because all these shields you be getting from being
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: with two women, did you stop getting chilly? Or you
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: went out there and something happened? So anyway, she never
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: said a word, So I thought it was cool. That's
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: when you real stupid. You think when a woman get
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: quiet that means everything cool. You so stupid, you solf stupid.
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: So then she told me she was going to Palm
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: Springs for her birthday with her sorority sisters.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: It was a quick trip, so I was cool with it.
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: A week later I found out that they werented a
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: sprinter and hired two males trippers to entertain them on
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: the ride. She and four other married women win. So
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: it's four on two. But these boys is pro. They
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: know how to work four women. It's two of them.
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: They strong with it. Who I bet it was fine
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: too though they was up in there and that sprintal Van.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: I'm talking about sitting on their laps letting them have it.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: She was so happy.
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: That to admit that she lied to me. And she
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: won't tell me where she stayed or where the two
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: strippers stayed. Okay, I'll tell you what. They wasn't in
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: that frontal and they got hired for the whole weekend
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: homie or they picked them too, right boy, they've all
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: four of them voted on them too. She said, she
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: don't question me, so she wants the same grades. Okay,
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: so the joke's on me this time. Now I want
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: but this is not how I want my marriage to go. Well,
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: why did you do what you did? Though she told
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: you she wasn't going and you wasn't going. This ain't
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: how I want my marriage to go. But then you
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: thought it was cool and you went down there a
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: bunch of times. How do we really rebuild the trust? Well,
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: this ain't really trust you got to rebuild you see,
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: let me tell you what you did though.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: You open up a closed can of stink.
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: Oh, it's a big old can of stink sitting in
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: y'all's basement. You went down that, got it, got a
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: screwdriver in, opened up the whole can of stink in
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: the middle of the living room. Now to open up
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: the can, you said, let's go to strip club. She
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: said I'm not going, and you ain't going. You put
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: the lid back on it.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Not a horgy.
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: But you took your can back in the basement and
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: opened it back up, and you dip your hands down
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: in his can. Wow, and put it in your wife's
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: face and she can smell the stink coming upstairs.

- 1:11:05Speaker 9: they got into it with Indiana. Remember remember the brawl
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: at the palace. Oh man, all of them dog the.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Days is over with the basketball players can't fight. What
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: they were doing. What they were doing, hugging, pushing in
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: the holding and threatening.
- 1:11:25Speaker 11: It was.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: It was Uh, five players and two head coach.
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: Two coaches got ejected, included the head coach for Detroit
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: JB bigger staff.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: He was he was ejected.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: Isaiah Stewart, Rod Holland Marcus Assasser was off of Detroit.

- 1:11:59Speaker 2: play the game.
- 1:12:01Speaker 9: So you had to do all right. Also, man congratulates
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: the d'on Sadu's d. Don Sanders got up a new
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: check man five years extension with the Colorado Buffalo fifty
- 1:12:13Speaker 9: for me.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Guess what Dion do? What's that coach? That's all he do?
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Coach all the ball.
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: Who get publicized money contracts. Can you please just do
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: what your contract asked you to do?
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Coach like Dion, Yes, yeah, coach, that's all we need
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: you to do. You gotta do nothing else, just coach.
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: If my boy Steven A. Smith Paul could just go
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: somewhere and do the sports show. No, I'm not saying,
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: like you know, he can't have an opinion about nothing,
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: because you know they told Lebron just shut up and dribble.
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: No, no, no no.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: If you're talking about the rights of us and all that, man,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: use your platform. I'm with you, not wrong, But Lord,
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: can let this Lebron thing. This is not a good
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: look home broll. That is what he do. He cover fights.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: He covered the fights that Okay, I want to see that.
- 1:13:34Speaker 9: Also, uh, they have named Justin Fields. He is QB
- 1:13:38Speaker 9: one already in New York. For the jest, there passes
- 1:13:40Speaker 9: Aaron Rodgers thing. Go ahead, Justin Fields already week one QB.
- 1:13:44Speaker 9: He's starting already just said, hey, we're moving on. Aaron
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: Glen already making his decision. He's gonna be Justin Field's team.
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: They even got a quote right now. They're gonna have
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: shirts that say we believe.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: It Justin All right, Junior, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the top of the hour, a man on social media
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: needs some advice Steve. He said, he's worried it's so
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: will pick up his dad's prejudices. We'll talk about it
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: All right, Steve, this is from DK on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: DK says, my teenage son has been spread spending a
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: lot of time with my dad, but my dad unfortunately
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: holds some pretty racist beliefs, which he has no problem sharing,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: especially when it comes to politics. I'm glad they're bonding,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: but worried my son might absorb these outdated and offensive attitudes.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: I don't want to bad mouth my pops to my kid,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: but I also can't just ignore this. How do I
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: address this issue with my son without disrespecting his grandfather.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I don't want to make things awkward or push my
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: son away.
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: My answer to this depends on whether this is a
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: black person asking the question or a white person asking
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: the question.
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: Per person, because he said my pops later on, that's
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: the seven year.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Old gibbings.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Steve answer both ways. How about that?
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: If you're black, you need to let your son understand
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: both sides of this, because that old man is talking
- 1:15:28Speaker 7: from an experience that he's had, and I can assure
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: you those experiences still exist because this country is not fixed.
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: This country is not non racist. This country is quite racist.
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: This country is quite hypocritical. So if your old black
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: man is telling him some viewpoints, then you got to
- 1:15:51Speaker 7: let him absorb some of this because he's gonna run
- 1:15:53Speaker 7: into it anyway. Now, if you are white, check your
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: son before oh somebody else. Do get your son and say, hey, look, son,
- 1:16:05Speaker 7: this is not the language we use describing people. This
- 1:16:08Speaker 7: is not how I'm teaching you to be.
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: I want you to relationship with your grandfather. But hey man,
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: maybe you need to go to your dad and go,
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: hey dad, look man, stop using these negative terms in
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: front of my son. Stop telling my son that this
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: is how it all to be. Wean fin to make
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: America great again. We're not finna do that. And the
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: South is not rising.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Again.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Please know that. And stop ordering them T shirts with
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: them rebel flags on it offline.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: All right, So two different ways, both ways?
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: We have time for another one. This is from Gary
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: and Steve HARBFM Gary says, I'm a huge fan of
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: your show. I follow all of you on Instagram. Anyway,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I recently broke up with my girlfriend of two years.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: She was pretty emotional throughout ira real relationship, and I
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: finally decided to break up. But now she's going around
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: telling everyone that she broke up with me and even
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: accusing me of being a whack boyfriend on Facebook. I'm
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: mad about this, But Uncle Steve, I don't know if
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: I should just let it go or defend myself. What
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: do you guys think I should do?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: Yeah? Bro, just let that go. Let that go.
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: See, Bro, listen to me. Blogs die out eventually, and
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: you just have to let it go. Fortunate thing is
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: you're not famous, and it would die out a lot quicker.
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: Her followers speaking from speaker huh yeah. And if all
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: her friends think you ain't about nothing, so what which
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: is the narrative she's gonna tell them anyway? And just
- 1:17:46Speaker 7: like you telling your friends she was a whiner and
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: a complainer and all that you, everybody gonna have their
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: own narrative. Just let it go, Bro, You'll be better off,
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: So you can move on. Somebody gonna accept you the
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: way you are and somebody's gonna accept her the way
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: she is.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: And how does he let it go?
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: And move on?
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: Tell let it go? Just stop, dog, just stop. Get
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: on Facebook. Hey, bro, listen to me. Here's what I
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: had to learn.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: I stopped caring about people's opinion to me that don't
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: have my cell number. There you go, you ain't got
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: my cell number. I care what you think of me?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Up and put somebody in her spot immediately. Br what
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: Morning?
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and post that on Facebook. Me and my new boom. Yeah,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I'll boot up.
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: All right, guys, put a picture of you and some
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: fine girl on Facebook. Electric caption be whack its back?
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: So in the Weird Animal News, a couple in Louisiana
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: heard a strange noise, so they walked to the porch
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: to investigate and found that the screen door was torn.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Then they saw a tail that was attached to a
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: massive nine foot alligator just sitting there. The couple quickly
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: called for help from the sheriff's office and a neighbor
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: who raises alligators. The Sheriff's office, along with a gator handler,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: captured the gator and eventually released it into the nearby river.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: But the gator didn't go peacefully. It put up a fight.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: It tossed patio furniture all over the porch. Experts say,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: if you find yourself in this position, you've encounter an
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: alligator on land, run in a straight line as fast
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: as you can, don't zigzag and all of that. And
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: if an alligator grabs you, fight and go for its eyes,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: its nose, or throat, which are its most sensitive areas.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: What yeah, what.
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: Dragging you off the break into the water. I'm supposed
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: to grab his what now?
- 1:20:11Speaker 12: His eyes?
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: Try to grab one of them roots on that tree.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: You cannot see this happening. Listen to anyone I know.
- 1:20:24Speaker 7: All this alligator fighting technique you need when you run
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: into a bed, you better zig zag because they don't
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: change directions.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Good, go play another round, it would you rather? Right
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:20:50Speaker 7: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:20:54Speaker 7: drifting toward your lane, or that lane splitting.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Biker creeping up beside you.
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features that can alert
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: you to potential dangers around.
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure it
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: the road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: one hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two
- 1:21:14Speaker 6: thousand and six to twenty twenty four as of December
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: twenty twenty four.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: All right, it is time now for a round it
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: would you rather would you rather have people ask you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: for the next thirty days? Are you getting sick? Are
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you getting sick? Or would you never have anyone say
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: God bless you when you sneeze? Would you rather that
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I want that for the next third day so I
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: can take off.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: Oh that's a strategy.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Or would you rather have never have anyone say to
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: you God bless you when you sneeze.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: I don't care much.
- 1:21:50Speaker 7: I don't care nothing about that because I ain't never
- 1:21:52Speaker 7: understood that no more, I never say that when I
- 1:21:54Speaker 7: hear people sneak.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Oh, you don't know what, because you gotta understand why
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: people say that.
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, okay, something about you stop breathing on your
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: hard stop? Well, you know, if you sneeze, and your
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: heart stop and keep stop.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: You ain't don't be able to hear what he said.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Now on an NBA team we're moving on. Would you
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: rather be the best?
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: You're really not. I'm just gonna tell you that right now.
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: Your heart do finally stop you, God bless you.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: I know you want to be the best dunker on
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: an NBA team, or the best three point shooter.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Oh man, heyduncle, yeah, duncle, man, You know what?
- 1:22:43Speaker 7: Basketball can be so unenjoyable now because of the three
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: point shot. I do not enjoy anymore, you know, man,
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: You can watch a whole basketball game and not see
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: one post up play. You can watch a whole game
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: and I see one play designed to dump it to
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: the big man in the middle. Oh well, and nothing
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: more frustrating to watch a seven foot to shoot twenty
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: two percent front of three point nine.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: I do like watching Curry shooting threes, though, for some
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: reason I like it certain players.
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: Yeah, because it hasn't strong possibility of going in, Damon
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: little strong possibility of going in.
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: Everybody else, Draymond Green.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: We really always have to go there, don't.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: You't over there? And Curry? Miss all right?
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Would you rather be the uh would you rather shoot
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the ball or pass the ball? Stan, I'm basketball for
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: a minute.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: Oh man, I want to shoot?
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: Ah Yeah, I'm gonna pass because I'm not gonna make
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: a lot of shots anyway, So let me throw it
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: to somebody. Got a chance at this ball going in?
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: If you ask me to shoot a three pointer, I
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: should get points if it reaches.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: All right, room stand on basketball? Last one? Would you
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: rather have an NBA career like Dwayne Wade or Allen Iverson?
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Either one? True? That boy was a big and Wade
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: was too.
- 1:24:20Speaker 7: I'm b Dwayne Wade because his NBA career was He
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: was really one of my favorite players.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: I love Dwayne Wade.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: All right, all right, that's today's round of would you rather?
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Coming up next? It is our last break of the day,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: and we'll close out the show with the one and
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Showy Carl Farrow.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: Kick that old mop and bucket aside? Are you ready
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: for a mop.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: And bucket clean?
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: And half the time make.

- 1:25:20Speaker 1: have a listener named Velaura that left a message for you.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 1:25:23Speaker 11: Hi, Steeve, my name is Vilaura. I heard you this
- 1:25:27Speaker 11: morning when you were talking about people are still talking
- 1:25:29Speaker 11: about you. Don't worry about the haters. If you don't
- 1:25:33Speaker 11: have life experiences, there's no way you can tell me
- 1:25:37Speaker 11: or anybody else. And we've all made mistakes. That's what
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: makes us the beautiful people that we are today, including
- 1:25:42Speaker 11: you and Marjorie. So don't worry about what the haters say.
- 1:25:47Speaker 11: When they stop talking about you, that's when you need
- 1:25:49Speaker 11: to start worry because all they're doing is hating. You're
- 1:25:52Speaker 11: trying to make a difference. You've learned from your past experience,
- 1:25:57Speaker 11: good or bad. So just doing what you do because
- 1:26:00Speaker 11: I love you. And a whole lot of other people
- 1:26:02Speaker 11: love you. And when people start talking about you, I
- 1:26:04Speaker 11: check on you, so don't worry about it. You got
- 1:26:07Speaker 11: plenty of people that have your back, and we love you,
- 1:26:10Speaker 11: and we glass that you have to desire when you
- 1:26:13Speaker 11: were a kid to be on TV and radio because
- 1:26:17Speaker 11: I don't know what I would do without you sometime
- 1:26:19Speaker 11: because he really helps me. And I just want you
- 1:26:22Speaker 11: to know that I have a goddy love for you
- 1:26:25Speaker 11: and I appreciate you. Hey, let the haters keep hating.
- 1:26:29Speaker 11: That's what they do best. You just live on and
- 1:26:31Speaker 11: do what you got to do, and don't worry about
- 1:26:33Speaker 11: what people say. It's not what they call you. What
- 1:26:36Speaker 11: you answered about last time I heard your name is
- 1:26:39Speaker 11: mister Steve Harvey. Hey, there you have it. Have a
- 1:26:42Speaker 11: great day.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: Damn man, needed that great message. Great message, you know,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: so true.
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: You know I try to do exactly what she says
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: that I'll fall victim and pray to being human sometimes
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: because I don't care who you are.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Sometimes you just want to be lebron. You just want
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: to work.
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: Walk up to Steve and A at the half court
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: and pull your sleeve up and say, hey man, say
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: something else you know you just won't to have that moment.
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: You just do cause you're human, like steven A. I mean,
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: like Lebron could have just let it go, but he
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: just on one of them days. I try not to
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: have as many of those days anymore. Like I'm really
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: trying to work through one man. This is one person
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: who it's two people that I have to forgive. I'm
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: really really struggling with. I long talk with about a
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: friend of mine. Shout out to my boy. Kevin came
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: and surprised me down at my ranch yesterday. Marjorie told
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: him where I was and everything, so he surprised me.
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: Great trip. But this is when you know he's a
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: friend because he came from Africa to surprise me. He
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: heard I had surgery and he just wanted to see me. Say,
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: hey man, I just need to check on my boy.
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: You're doing all right. Yeah, So that was like really
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: really cool. We were talking yesterday and it's two people
- 1:28:00Speaker 7: in my life. I'm just being honest. I'm really really
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: struggling with forgiving. And I already know this too. I
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: already know that forgiveness is not for them, it's for me.
- 1:28:10Speaker 7: Forgiveness is so that when they name, come up. It
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: don't have an effect on me when I see them
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: out somewhere, I see them, it don't.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: Have an effect on me.
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: When they walk by me and don't speak to me,
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: It don't have an effect on me because I've forgiven them.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: That's really what it is. Forgiveness is not for the
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: other person. It's for you.
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: Like Bishop Jake said, you keep drinking the poison, waiting
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: on them to die. And I know this, and I've
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: said this on the show, But man, I am so human.
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: I am such an imperfect soldier for Christ.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: Man I am.
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: It's like the Strawberry Letter today. The Strawberry Letter today
- 1:28:59Speaker 7: was about a couple and they got married and before
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: they got married they used to do three sooms and
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: go to strip clubs together and all this. And after
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: they got married they got saved. But then the husband
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: decided his friends was talking about going to the strip
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: club and being with more than one woman, and he
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: still got chills. And people go, I thought you were saved.
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: Because you saved don't mean you sin free. That's not
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: what being saved is. Saved means you have a real
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: immediate help as not a person that's living saved or unsaved,
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: it's not gonna have to deal with temptation in their life.
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: That's never going to go away.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: Sorry. And there's a lot of stuff you deal with
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: as a person that's saved.
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: That's a person that has a faith, that person that
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: claims to be a Christian or whatever your faith is,
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: whatever you claim to be that member. But and every
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: now and then you struggle with aspects of it as
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: do Why so, like the lady said in the close
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: of remarks before I played, before they played this called
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: this lady named Laura, great message telling me to keep
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: my head up. Never mind what people are saying about me.
- 1:30:11Speaker 7: They just hate us. All that's true. I even said
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: on the show earlier. I quit worrying about people's opinion
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: to me that don't have my cell phone number because
- 1:30:21Speaker 7: I don't know you. I don't know you, and obviously
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: you not close enough to me for your opinion to
- 1:30:27Speaker 7: even matter to me. Now I've been able to do that,
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: but I'm working on forgiveness and I actually prayed about it,
- 1:30:36Speaker 7: and for the first time I've even told my wife
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: I'm gonna be able to forgive them. And you know,
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: me and Marjorie talk about everything and I said, this person,
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: I'm gonna be able to forgive them. She said, Steve,
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: you should because it's for you.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: But she know how I am, and so I've been
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: working on it. Did I just suck my teeth just now? Yeah,
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: I just I just started praying about it, so maybe, yeah,
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: it's gonna take a minute. Yeah, yeah, I just got
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: through praying about it. I can't see him today though,
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: I can't run up into him today.
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: It ain't ready yet. Hey, thank you Valor for the email.
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: It was a great email. And I'm trying to do better.
- 1:31:35Speaker 7: Y'all do better too. But if you need help, talk
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: to God about it, because he would absolutely love to
- 1:31:42Speaker 7: hear from you. Have a great day, God willing. We'll
- 1:31:44Speaker 7: see y'all tomorrow. We'll do it all over again.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: Holler.
