- 0:39Speaker 1: don't join join me, be doing me. Honey, You got
- 1:00Speaker 1: you turn You gotta turn the turnout. You got to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water. The water come
- 1:59Speaker 1: come out. Uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:06Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: O man, O man? How many times I got to
- 2:16Speaker 1: say that before I get tired of it. I think
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta be real
- 2:23Speaker 1: with you, because, boy, that Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:26Speaker 1: show man. Clear indication of how God can do some
- 2:32Speaker 1: unexpected wonderful things for you, how he leads your life
- 2:37Speaker 1: in directions that you never ever saw coming. You know.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:43Speaker 1: were talking about how man, they were young and they
- 2:45Speaker 1: were doing things, and they never knew that the things
- 2:48Speaker 1: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:54Speaker 1: helped form who they were today as an adult disguise
- 2:58Speaker 1: fifty years old. And you know the same thing for you,
- 3:01Speaker 1: if you look back on your life and all of
- 3:04Speaker 1: the things that you've done, it helps shape you into
- 3:08Speaker 1: who you are now. This is provided now that you
- 3:12Speaker 1: take the positive approach. Now when I say look back
- 3:15Speaker 1: at your life and see what you've done, that doesn't
- 3:18Speaker 1: mean dwell on the misfortunate moments, because the misfortunate moments
- 3:22Speaker 1: were necessary. I know it. It's hard to see that
- 3:25Speaker 1: when it's happening to you, but the unfortunate moments are necessary.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You know, what really makes you appreciate summer vacation is
- 3:35Speaker 1: when to work. What really makes you appreciate a walk
- 3:39Speaker 1: on the beach, it's when it's cold, is raining outside.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What really makes you appreciate when you're up, it's because
- 3:47Speaker 1: you've been down. See if you are up all the time.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Just the nature of us as human beings, we would
- 3:54Speaker 1: lose our appreciation for because it becomes case urah, whatever
- 3:59Speaker 1: it is, well, it is what it is. I'm just
- 4:01Speaker 1: what what what you take it for? Granted, it becomes expected,
- 4:05Speaker 1: but what happens in life says it has so many
- 4:08Speaker 1: twisting turns and then you learn how to deal with
- 4:11Speaker 1: those twisting turns, which makes you now a more experienced person.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And then when the sunny days come, man, you go wild.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It's really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how
- 4:21Speaker 1: warm weather. Just stay in a bunch of cold weather
- 4:23Speaker 1: all the time. I'm you know what I'm saying. I'm
- 4:26Speaker 1: just this is really really simple and now analogies, but
- 4:29Speaker 1: it helps you along the way. Now here's what I
- 4:33Speaker 1: came to say today to everybody out there. And this
- 4:36Speaker 1: has helped me in my life. I can't tell you
- 4:39Speaker 1: what it's done for me, But a lot of people
- 4:43Speaker 1: are struggling with moving forward with their future, their future plans,
- 4:49Speaker 1: their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes, their
- 4:55Speaker 1: future dreams, just simply your future wants. A lot people
- 5:00Speaker 1: trying to have a hard time mapping out their future.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be, what
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna make harm or go about it? What do
- 5:10Speaker 1: I do next? I want to share something with you
- 5:13Speaker 1: that I had to come to terms with. The quickest
- 5:16Speaker 1: way to lose focus on your future is to keep
- 5:20Speaker 1: focusing on your past. You know. It's like I said
- 5:24Speaker 1: at the beginning. You know when I say it's wonderful
- 5:27Speaker 1: to look at your life and review it, because if
- 5:30Speaker 1: you look at it, it'll tell you it really helps
- 5:33Speaker 1: shape inform you today as the person you are now.
- 5:38Speaker 1: If you look at it in a positive sense. But
- 5:40Speaker 1: if you dwell in harp on the negative that's happened
- 5:43Speaker 1: to you, then that keeps you from seeing the good
- 5:47Speaker 1: in the incident, every bad thing that's happened to you,
- 5:50Speaker 1: that was a silver lining behind it. I know people
- 5:53Speaker 1: who were on drugs who finally man just got sent
- 5:57Speaker 1: to prison for stealing because of their habit. I know
- 6:00Speaker 1: Catherin's sol dope. Well, he went to prison. He told
- 6:04Speaker 1: me one time. He said, Steve, it's man, this is
- 6:06Speaker 1: the best thing ever happened to me to save my life. Now,
- 6:10Speaker 1: most people would think, how in the world it's going
- 6:13Speaker 1: to prison helpful for you? The brother said, it saved
- 6:17Speaker 1: my life. First of all, it got me clean. He said,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I've been cleaned for five years from sitting in him.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That's for starters, Uncleaned. I ain't still in no more.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I ain't putting myself in jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing
- 6:30Speaker 1: nobody else. He said. Now, man, I don't went to college.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I didn't got a college degree while I met him.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Then he was released from prison, and the brother's life
- 6:40Speaker 1: was completely turned around. He married, he got a family,
- 6:45Speaker 1: he got a great job. He'd go to work every day.
- 6:48Speaker 1: He's a productive citizen. I mean. So he looks back
- 6:52Speaker 1: on his incarceration, even his drug abuse, and it taught
- 6:57Speaker 1: him how to appreciate the things in life that he
- 7:00Speaker 1: had taken for granted and was missing because he said, man,
- 7:03Speaker 1: my life was just in a blur. I didn't even
- 7:05Speaker 1: know what was going on. He said, Now I appreciate
- 7:09Speaker 1: every day I wake up. That's what I mean. Even
- 7:12Speaker 1: in your missteps in life, there is a purpose for
- 7:15Speaker 1: the missteps. Every time you fail, there was a reason
- 7:19Speaker 1: for the failure. See what I had to do was
- 7:23Speaker 1: I had to learn that all of my failures taught
- 7:25Speaker 1: me how to get back up. So I became a
- 7:29Speaker 1: very strong and tough person in getting back up. And
- 7:33Speaker 1: then I was down and out so long that it
- 7:36Speaker 1: taught me how to really appreciate the up. And so
- 7:39Speaker 1: I've taken all of that and used it those experiences
- 7:43Speaker 1: that happened to me, and I became a more experienced person.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So next time. When people talk about me who don't
- 7:50Speaker 1: know me, it don't shake me because everybody not gonna
- 7:54Speaker 1: like you. Man, you might as well gonna get on
- 7:56Speaker 1: this train right now. And so what I'm saying to
- 7:59Speaker 1: you out that is the quickest way to lose focus
- 8:02Speaker 1: on your future is to keep focusing on your path.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah he left. But like
- 8:08Speaker 1: I told us lady on my TV show the other day,
- 8:11Speaker 1: sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:14Speaker 1: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:17Speaker 1: But man, but when you're in misery, When you was
- 8:19Speaker 1: in that, weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:24Speaker 1: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:27Speaker 1: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It takes two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:34Speaker 1: takes two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:37Speaker 1: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It can't just be one person want a relationship, so
- 8:43Speaker 1: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:45Speaker 1: the other person don't want you no more and it
- 8:48Speaker 1: ain't gonna act right, you can't make him do that,
- 8:51Speaker 1: or you can't make her do that. But you steady
- 8:54Speaker 1: asking God for a new relationship, but you are yet
- 8:59Speaker 1: to be grateful that you are in a position to
- 9:02Speaker 1: have a relationship, and you keep harping on the past.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You don't think he hear that. I'm just a dude
- 9:08Speaker 1: with a show, and I hear it all the time.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Let it go, go forward. It's over. You made it,
- 9:15Speaker 1: He bought you through it. You survived it. Why are
- 9:19Speaker 1: you dwelling on it and making it the cross around
- 9:22Speaker 1: your neck when clearly he had removed it for you. Now,
- 9:26Speaker 1: all you got to do is come on. So if
- 9:29Speaker 1: you're sitting behind him walls, brothers and sisters, I'm talking
- 9:32Speaker 1: directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got to get
- 9:35Speaker 1: it right. All this repeat offender business, that's for. Who
- 9:38Speaker 1: is that for? How ignorant can you be to keep
- 9:42Speaker 1: giving your life back to the penal system? Be free, man,
- 9:46Speaker 1: walk the streets, do the right thing. Ask God to
- 9:49Speaker 1: help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 9:52Speaker 1: can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man, put
- 9:55Speaker 1: some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Let's move even Harpy Morning Show. Alright, everybody, it was
- 10:04Speaker 1: a great plan. You called in sick. On the second,
- 10:07Speaker 1: you took off, on the third, you had the fourth, fifth,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and six off. You would just stand up late watching TV,
- 10:13Speaker 1: just having a damn good time. But it's Monday, now,

- 11:32Speaker 1: know what happens when you're gone too long. You miss
- 11:35Speaker 1: stuff and you start to forget. Yes, yes, I got

- 11:58Speaker 1: get really relaxed, you grew in that vacation group. Time
- 12:03Speaker 1: to go back. I took chances this vacation. Somebody's supposed
- 12:09Speaker 1: to do like gout in the water, but I got

- 16:25Speaker 1: about this the first time line. I actually didn't eat barbecue.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You see, I didn't eat barbecue. Okay, I have a confession.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I have a good confession. I have a confession. I
- 16:41Speaker 1: need that I ate some chicken. Thank you. It's no
- 16:48Speaker 1: longer a vegan. Welcome, I'm back. I'm back on vegan.
- 16:52Speaker 1: But it was one minute when the great that's the
- 17:00Speaker 1: one thing he talks about. He misses chicken so much
- 17:03Speaker 1: from his vegans. What you crying as you was eating?
- 17:05Speaker 1: I was crying the pocket? Did you lick your sugar?
- 17:09Speaker 1: The cook came out and hugged me. He said, it's
- 17:11Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Man. At the moment I got
- 17:14Speaker 1: some more on the back. You need some therapy. Did
- 17:19Speaker 1: you lick your fingers out? Fingers elbow showed out? How
- 17:25Speaker 1: many pieces you gotta enjoy your life? I had four pieces,
- 17:28Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. You're gonna do it, gonna
- 17:31Speaker 1: do it. Wait a minute, now, you like the thighs, right,
- 17:34Speaker 1: you're a thigh man too. I'm I'm gonna breast. I'm
- 17:36Speaker 1: gonna breast in thighing every night when I and thighs
- 17:41Speaker 1: when needs a leg and thighs leg dark met Yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 1: you don't cross over like that. I was really eating
- 17:49Speaker 1: chicken every night. I go to speak with two breasts
- 17:52Speaker 1: and two thighs in my life. Straight chicken like that
- 17:56Speaker 1: to me is offended. Jack, I know white I eat chicken.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Don't do white meat together. Man, you know what I'm
- 18:07Speaker 1: really into legs now. I love them when I was
- 18:11Speaker 1: a kid. And then I stopped all together because you
- 18:13Speaker 1: heard about dark meat wasn't good? You know, eat the
- 18:16Speaker 1: white meat and all that. So I eat the legs. Now,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I only eat legs and stopped us. Even the dark
- 18:22Speaker 1: meat can't win. I'll be damned. Wait a minute, I
- 18:29Speaker 1: do it too, Tommy. I just realized that I eat
- 18:32Speaker 1: legs and brass. That's y'all gonna quit crossing his chicken.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Y'all gotta know how chicken work. I'm a chicken person.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Call you know. I know chicken. I'm gonna tell you.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, like chicken leg chicken they different.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's kind of like, it's kind of like they it's
- 18:48Speaker 1: like their chicken, like really had they real mom and dad?
- 18:51Speaker 1: But you gotta say, damn the guy was whoever the
- 18:56Speaker 1: guy was to put a pickle on a piece of chicken.
- 18:59Speaker 1: That's the most amazing genius genius. Did anybody see any
- 19:09Speaker 1: fights over the holiday? Anybody any fight? Remember? Yes, family,
- 19:14Speaker 1: remember that barbecue? Anybody? No? I saw a Hawiian couple argument.
- 19:18Speaker 1: That's that's about that. Oh man, I saw a fight
- 19:21Speaker 1: at the barbecue, y'all be kill your life. Man at
- 19:26Speaker 1: the house next day, not hours, but four people that
- 19:30Speaker 1: were seventy years old swinging, but everybody missing where they
- 19:35Speaker 1: I don't know what the fight was about, but obviously
- 19:38Speaker 1: somebody tried to hon somebody's wife and they wouldn't have.
- 19:41Speaker 1: And when you see folk seven year olds fight, they
- 19:44Speaker 1: didn't lay a punch. They were still for to five seconds.
- 19:54Speaker 1: But but they were saying, like Calvin, go get my
- 19:56Speaker 1: Gerald tall. They were just might just like getting my
- 20:00Speaker 1: I mean, they was, I can really fight. I did
- 20:04Speaker 1: nobody laying the punch. Wow, No, no, nobody was. I'm
- 20:09Speaker 1: not taking a plate out, just ragged it. So and
- 20:11Speaker 1: so this is good? Is that what it was about? Yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I don't know what it was about about taking a plate.
- 20:16Speaker 1: All I know is it didn't bring nothing. I just
- 20:19Speaker 1: heard that you tried to highlight my husband and then
- 20:21Speaker 1: she swung on. The two women started, then the two husbands.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, that is supposed to be an example
- 20:27Speaker 1: for the kids out there, But not if you're trying
- 20:29Speaker 1: to hit on my man. I don't know what they're

- 49:19Speaker 1: How you doing. I'm doing fine and you I'm very well. Man. Listen,
- 49:23Speaker 1: what we're trying to do is, uh, if I take
- 49:26Speaker 1: a little bit of your time, We're trying to actually
- 49:27Speaker 1: get a survey signed by people in the black community.
- 49:31Speaker 1: We're actually trying to help out in the black community.
- 49:33Speaker 1: The organization is BPE TMC, and what this is is blackness.
- 49:38Speaker 1: What is that? Uh, that's that's black people eat too
- 49:41Speaker 1: much chicken. So what we're doing is we're trying to
- 49:44Speaker 1: get what black say that one time for me, black
- 49:48Speaker 1: people eat too much chicken. You see, there's been a
- 49:51Speaker 1: shortage in chicken. So what we're trying to do is
- 49:53Speaker 1: get black people in chicken. And you want to do
- 49:57Speaker 1: a survey, well we want what we want you you
- 50:00Speaker 1: guys to do with sign a petition that you're not
- 50:02Speaker 1: going to eat anymore chicken this year. Why did we

- 50:07Speaker 1: we eat beef, we eat steak, eat fish. I don't
- 50:10Speaker 1: so you trying to part that off the market. Now,
- 50:12Speaker 1: why would you want to tell us not to to
- 50:15Speaker 1: eat chicken? And we eat other stuff too? Why are
- 50:17Speaker 1: you getting your dron because this doesn't make any sense.
- 50:20Speaker 1: The test study, man, was over chicken, and it just
- 50:23Speaker 1: seems like that this study. Who did this test study?
- 50:27Speaker 1: Well we did, man, we're BPE TMC. And what we're
- 50:30Speaker 1: after doing the test study, we did realize that the
- 50:33Speaker 1: black people are the ones that we get a test
- 50:35Speaker 1: on a just after two black people, I mean, just
- 50:38Speaker 1: use white people. But white people eat chicken too, and
- 50:40Speaker 1: she says, I was at diets and stuff. Okay, man,
- 50:43Speaker 1: well that Asian? What about the Hispanics? Did you use them?
- 50:47Speaker 1: Okay man? Listening? What the bottom line is, Our first
- 50:51Speaker 1: study is black people, and what we're trying to do
- 50:53Speaker 1: is get you guys to cut back on eating. Yes,
- 50:55Speaker 1: study should be everybody. This is some where did you
- 50:57Speaker 1: get my number from? Man? We got we got numbers
- 51:00Speaker 1: from the supermarkets that of people. That number from no supermarkets.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I ain't give my number to no supermarket. This is
- 51:06Speaker 1: don't make any damn sense. You calling me, interrupting me
- 51:09Speaker 1: about something like this. This is this one bottom line, ma'am.
- 51:13Speaker 1: You know you don't tell me telling me what the
- 51:16Speaker 1: hair and I can't eat? You know mine, he's got
- 51:19Speaker 1: knife on them, twisted this survey. Yes, you do, calling
- 51:23Speaker 1: somebody telling them that black people eat too much chicken?
- 51:27Speaker 1: You and your partition. Would you like to hear what
- 51:29Speaker 1: the survey is actually saying. No, I don't want to
- 51:31Speaker 1: hear what the survey is actually saying, because what you're
- 51:34Speaker 1: saying about a whole bunch, But the survey is saying
- 51:37Speaker 1: that this is nephew taught me from the Steve Harvey
- 51:40Speaker 1: Morning Show. What Valerie. This is nephew, Tommy baby from
- 51:46Speaker 1: Oh my God, Oh oh, I'm telling imber some chicken.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Anybody wasn't chick that I'm gonna have You know, you're
- 52:02Speaker 1: eating a lot of chicken. When you sit there and
- 52:04Speaker 1: all those bones are all around and you go, this
- 52:07Speaker 1: is redee, it's not right. And if you can't you,
- 52:13Speaker 1: if you can't put that flat wing in your mouth
- 52:16Speaker 1: and pull it out naked, you're not really a chicken
- 52:19Speaker 1: eating right there. I'm talking about it. That's your best. Yes,
- 52:25Speaker 1: you can't. I'm all about the flats. You eat that
- 52:30Speaker 1: drumstick and then take the little other part and make
- 52:32Speaker 1: a toothpick out of you. You're yeah, you gotta be
- 52:38Speaker 1: able to get the grizzle off that leg come on
- 52:41Speaker 1: at the top, yeah, yeah, that knuckles. If you can
- 52:45Speaker 1: separate that from the bone. Are you doing something? Then
- 52:49Speaker 1: you have never let the wishbones set up and dry
- 52:52Speaker 1: so you can take make a wish. You're not a chicken,
- 52:58Speaker 1: all right? Thank you, nephew. Listen. Coming up next it
- 53:02Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. The subject this woman is making
- 53:05Speaker 1: me nervous. We'll get into it. Right after this. You're
- 53:09Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now for
- 53:13Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter, and listen. If you need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex,
- 53:18Speaker 1: parenting and more. Please please please submit your Strawberry Letter
- 53:22Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey FM and click submit Strawberry Letter. We
- 53:27Speaker 1: could be reading your letter live on the air, just
- 53:29Speaker 1: like we're gonna read this one right now, right here.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Buggle up, hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 53:34Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter subject this woman is making
- 53:39Speaker 1: me nervous. Here Stephen Shirley. I am a thirty two
- 53:42Speaker 1: year old man and my wife and I have been
- 53:44Speaker 1: married for four years. Our marriage got off to a
- 53:47Speaker 1: rough start and we separated for a short period of time.
- 53:50Speaker 1: In the beginning. Right after we separate it, I met
- 53:53Speaker 1: a chick with the body of a goddess and ended
- 53:56Speaker 1: up having an affair with her for two months. I
- 54:00Speaker 1: got bored with just having sex and no real connection
- 54:03Speaker 1: with this chick, so I told her I was going
- 54:06Speaker 1: back to work things out with my wife. She got
- 54:08Speaker 1: very upset and told me that her ultimate plan was
- 54:11Speaker 1: to take me from my wife. That scared me. That
- 54:15Speaker 1: scared the mess out of me, and I told her
- 54:17Speaker 1: that my wife was irreplaceable. That was three years ago.
- 54:21Speaker 1: My wife and I worked out the kinks in our
- 54:23Speaker 1: marriage and we're truly happy now. I I felt it
- 54:27Speaker 1: was unnecessary to tell my wife about the affair, so
- 54:31Speaker 1: I never did. Fast forward to my company's annual employee
- 54:34Speaker 1: appreciation cookout that my wife and I look forward to
- 54:37Speaker 1: attending each year. We always sit with my teammates from
- 54:41Speaker 1: work who have actually become good friends of mine. A
- 54:45Speaker 1: group of us were sitting together eating when one of
- 54:48Speaker 1: our teammates walked up. I almost choked. He was with
- 54:55Speaker 1: the chick that I had had the affair with me,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and the chick played it off when he introduced her,
- 55:03Speaker 1: but she kept giving me nasty looks. When as we
- 55:06Speaker 1: sat there, the first chance she got to be alone
- 55:10Speaker 1: with me, she told me that she fell in love
- 55:14Speaker 1: with me and she's still not over me. She asked
- 55:17Speaker 1: me how I would feel if my wife was hurt
- 55:19Speaker 1: the way she was. She told me that I never
- 55:22Speaker 1: should have chosen my wife over her. I was speechless.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Since that day, I've been worried about what she might do.
- 55:31Speaker 1: I think I should tell my coworker that he's dating
- 55:34Speaker 1: a chick I slept with and she's crazy. I also
- 55:38Speaker 1: thought I ought to tell my wife about the affair
- 55:41Speaker 1: before this gets out of hand. This chick has made
- 55:44Speaker 1: me so nervous. What should I do? Please help? Well,
- 55:50Speaker 1: no doubt about it. Side chick, she got what she
- 55:54Speaker 1: came there for, that's for sure. She came to make
- 55:57Speaker 1: you nervous, all right, That's why you're nervous. That's what
- 55:59Speaker 1: she wanted to do. She came there to scare you.
- 56:02Speaker 1: She came there to make you think about her and
- 56:04Speaker 1: make you think about what she might do all of that,
- 56:08Speaker 1: maybe to make you call her, maybe to make you
- 56:10Speaker 1: text her. She came to do all that is. She's
- 56:12Speaker 1: stalking you, yes, and it's amazing. You guys have been
- 56:15Speaker 1: broken up for three years. She's stalking you. And yes,
- 56:19Speaker 1: she is crazy about telling your co worker. I wouldn't
- 56:22Speaker 1: do that. He doesn't need to know your business. And
- 56:24Speaker 1: she's probably already told him anyway, who knows, or she
- 56:27Speaker 1: will eventually. Now here's the issue, and the guys are
- 56:31Speaker 1: probably going to disagree with me on this, But I
- 56:34Speaker 1: think this is an extenuating circumstance here, because she might
- 56:39Speaker 1: just do something crazy, and you don't want your wife
- 56:43Speaker 1: to be caught off guard. Okay, you and your wife
- 56:46Speaker 1: were separated, You were broken up. You guys were broken up. Son,
- 56:52Speaker 1: you can say that you dated. You don't have to.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You don't have to tell her the extent of it.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I know you guys aren't going to agree now, but
- 56:59Speaker 1: if you're I know you're not. But if your wife
- 57:01Speaker 1: finds out any other kind of way, you're going to
- 57:04Speaker 1: be in trouble. Mister, for real. You know you're gonna
- 57:08Speaker 1: have to sit your wife down and tell her what happened.
- 57:12Speaker 1: You may not tell her the extent of it. You
- 57:14Speaker 1: can tell her that it wasn't anything. You guys, you know,
- 57:18Speaker 1: just had a little fling while you guys were separated.
- 57:21Speaker 1: You were separated. You're so happy now that you've worked
- 57:24Speaker 1: things out and that you're in a much happier place,
- 57:29Speaker 1: and you guys want to present yourselves as a unit
- 57:32Speaker 1: and not divided on this issue. You came to her,
- 57:35Speaker 1: you told her. I mean, sometimes you know it'll work
- 57:37Speaker 1: out in your favor. Some women are mature enough to
- 57:40Speaker 1: handle it. The key thing is you were broken up. Okay,
- 57:44Speaker 1: I just don't want this woman to do something crazy
- 57:47Speaker 1: because it looks like she is. She's given you dirty
- 57:50Speaker 1: looks at the picnic at the company outing. What if
- 57:54Speaker 1: your wife had seen that? You know, you got to
- 57:56Speaker 1: think about those things, all right, That is my answer.
- 57:58Speaker 1: I think you really need to say something to your wife.
- 58:01Speaker 1: I do, all right, Junior, Come on, no, no, I
- 58:07Speaker 1: don't know if he know it yet. Huh, but he's
- 58:09Speaker 1: back in an affair. Hello see hello, We three men
- 58:13Speaker 1: on this show. Half dealt with crazy women and the
- 58:16Speaker 1: crazy line that I saw. She asked me how I
- 58:20Speaker 1: would feel if my wife was hurt the way she was.
- 58:24Speaker 1: That means she plans on being back into faith. That's
- 58:28Speaker 1: what she plans on doing. And so I think that
- 58:31Speaker 1: he needs to just go ahead, get some dates with
- 58:34Speaker 1: her before she busted her windows, Gonna go to the movies,
- 58:38Speaker 1: Gonna go to the movies. So she knocked on that
- 58:40Speaker 1: dough Sir, Okay, this is what he has to do
- 58:43Speaker 1: to protect his wife. Charlotte. You haven't dealt with the
- 58:45Speaker 1: crazy woman before. We had I've been the crazy woman before.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Now I'm not saying this, but I'm just saying this.
- 58:55Speaker 1: What he has to do. He has to go back
- 58:57Speaker 1: out with this woman. To save his marriage at least
- 58:59Speaker 1: to the h until they get into the women protection.
- 59:02Speaker 1: So he used to move and get to the world.
- 59:05Speaker 1: That's what he asked, because she's not going nowhere. Sometimes
- 59:08Speaker 1: lies do not pay off, June. Oh yes they know,
- 59:11Speaker 1: they don't. Oh yes, they know, they don't. Oh yes,
- 59:13Speaker 1: they don't know. They don't. Don't sit back with your arms.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Don't get pity. Oh yes they do. We can't do.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Tell that woman to trust the truth. All right, Jay,
- 59:24Speaker 1: we want to hear from you as well. Junior says
- 59:27Speaker 1: he's gonna have to get some dates with this woman.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I say, he needs to figure out a way to
- 59:32Speaker 1: tell his wife because this woman. I need to tell
- 59:36Speaker 1: him what he's dealing with. So when we come back
- 59:40Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour for part two of
- 59:42Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter, Jay is going to tell him what
- 59:46Speaker 1: he's dealing with, and that the subject of today's Strawberry Letter,
- 59:50Speaker 1: this woman is making me nervous. We'll get back into
- 59:54Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show. All right,
- 59:59Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subjects. Yes, subject, this woman
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: is making me nervous. Thirty two year old man wrote
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: in he and his wife have been married for four years.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Their marriage got off in the beginning to a very
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: rough start, so they separate it for a short period
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: of time in the beginning, but right after they separated,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the husband had an affair for two months with who
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: we now know is a crazy woman. All right. Her
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: plan was to take him from the wife. His plan
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: was to go back to his wife. His job had
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: a company outing, he took his wife. One of his
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: co workers brought his ex in. This is three years
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: later now, and she's still not over him, the crazy
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: ex side chick. She's giving him dirty looks at the party.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: They did not act like they knew each other each
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: other when they were introduced, but now she's giving him
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: crazy looks. And you know, on all of this. And
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: she asked him, how would your wife feel if she
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: was hurt the way you hurt me? So Junior says
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: he needs to get back into an affair with her.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: So now, Jay, his wife, Ye right, don't lead that
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: part off. He tried to twist my word, which is insane.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And Shay, we need to hear from you and then
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: we'll hear from crazy man. Okay, First of all, we
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: got to break this letter down and we can find
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: out what type of guy this is. We we've already
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: determined that he's an older gentleman by the fact that
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: he used the phrase chick about five old school right now,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: he's old school. He's old, he's old schooling, and he
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: could be lying about his age. He's old school in
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: his thinking. Here's what he has to do. She has
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: done the damage she wants to do, which is to
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: put fear in your heart that she might do something
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: just by showing up. Now she got you on it. Huh,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: she got it? Who Who's who's outside? Who's that do?
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: So here's what you need to do to prepare yourself.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: She's crazy and the best set you ever gonna get
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: it is gonna come from a crazy woman. Oh woman,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the craziest. But what you gotta do is, I don't
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: know what type of car you have, but you need
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: to get one just like it, just like it. You
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: need to destroy this car, break out the windows, flatten
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the tires, mark it up right asshole on the side,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and popped us in front of your house. So when
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: she shows up, have you lost your entire mind? When
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: she shows up, she thinks that the damna she thinks
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: your wife knows and has found out and has destroyed
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: your car so she can't do a damn thing. So
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: your good car is in the garage. You see what
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I'm thinking. Time, You see what I'm wanting to do.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Your good car is in the garage, and you're safe
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: from the crazy woman. All these ignorant, elaborate plots, Junior saying,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: go not least let me I got close up. Men, men,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: don't ever fall for this line right here. Just tell
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: me the truth. I won't get mad. Don't ever fall
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: for that. Okay, And when the lady tells you that,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you not listen to that, Yeah, she says, earl, Just
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: tell me the truth. I won't get mad. Yeah, you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: have got to lie your ass off, right then. Yeah,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I'm with you when you're right. I'm with you when
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: you're right, because we will get mad. But I still
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: think he needs to tell all right, nephew, it's your turn,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: your up neck, all right, It's something I mean after
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: reading all love it. It's it's just plain and simple.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: You got booted, dudy. What you know what I'm saying?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: You got booted duty. Sometimes you got to fix booted problems,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and you have you created a problem when you started?
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: You got booted duty. Now what's gonna make her happen?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Right now? Some motive? You? You got booted duty and
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the words of shall it's your duty? So please that
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: booted all right? There are some things in my life.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Guess what. It's some things I don't want to do,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: but I got to do. I got to do it,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: all right. I don't want to. I don't want to
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: have sex once once once a week, but I got
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: to because that's all I'm stuck with. You're gonna say
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that's what I'm talking with. It's the things you don't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: it's booty this booty duty. You understand them. This I
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: want to pay. I wish I could pay half my mork.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I wish I can do that. I got to pay
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: all of it. I got to do how you gotta
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: do it. I got to do it because damn it,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I got to do it. It's my duty to do it.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: He understand. I don't want to take my keys to
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: disney Land every every summer, but I got to. It's
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: my duty, all right, that's daddy duty. But this right
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: here is booted duty. You understand and in order to
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: have peace in your house. Yeah, you got to tap
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that piece outside. Ye got to do it some times.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Don tell you something? Other mean is when people don't
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: see a booty blessing. You don't see a booty Do
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you not see a booty blessing? When it's that he's
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: dropped it? She fine is I'll get out. You understand
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: and you got you? Why what is to compare man
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: sad chick? Won't you? Yes, he's crazy enough to destroy

- 1:05:43Speaker 1: six after the hour, NBA talk and we're gonna talk
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: about free agency too. Right after this you're listening to
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Junior, let's
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: go NBA talk free agency. For what her dog? It
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: was crazy, I didn't get to watch TV. Okay, first
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: first couple of day wasn't nothing happened? Okay, we don't
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: know what nobody was going? What nobody doing? Nothing? Okay.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Then all of a sudden, Kevin Durant says, I'm gone,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: and he left going. And when he left Golden State
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: and went to the Net, ain't guess how much did
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: he get. Oh, he got a max deal. Everybody like
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: one hundred ninety four million. Wait, wait one and he
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: not even playing next year he playing. I just asked
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: one question, Junior. Yeah, he got one hundred and ninety
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: four million dollars and he got one damn good foot.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I don't understand because when didn't get back, they still
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: gonna be there one night in four with no edge
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: up though. That's what I'm talking about. Don't even need it,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: don't need it. And you got one hundred ninety four million,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: would you trim your being? Hey? Okay, if if you
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: got one hundred ninety four can he spend, say, simn
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the dollars the precious get that. But right behind him, Man,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Kyrie Irvin signed to Man. So that same they're going
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to Brooklyn. Yeah yeah, because you know, you know, Boston
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: helped Kyrie Lee, right yeah? Yeah, the players. Yeah, the
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: players didn't want him. Now, they didn't want him leave
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: nothing like Kyrie, you left a shoe, you know. They
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: helped him all your stuff out. Yeah that he go
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: down the Bay. Okay, but then Kimball Walker went and
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: signed up in Boston. Now he didn't left Charlotte and
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: went all the way up to Boston. So he replaces Kyrie.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: But then they get good though. Come on, come on, man,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: your boy Kawhi Leonard. Yes, he not going back to
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: the North, going down to the North. He's going to
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: the Clippers. But guess but guess what happened after that?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Paul George going to the Clippers too. Clippers got scot
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: but the Clippers got the point guard. Yeah, oh no,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: they got a squad back. Now, oh no, they got
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: a squad though. They is ready and all that. But
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: you know, your boy, the Marcus Cousins, he went down
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: to the Lakes. He did, he signed like the Lakers
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: got a good movie. Well, I think that's gonna be
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: It's gonna be good for the Lakes. You know, I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: think it's pretty good. The Lakers have, Lakers have Lebron
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: you know Anthony, Anthony, Yeah, your Brown and your boy
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the Marcus Cousins. So I think they got a nice
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: solid core right there. Okay, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: But it's just amazing that in the last three but
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: La is back in the game. Both La is on
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: the map. Yeah. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about old school summer fun. Old school
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: summer fun that coming up right after this. You're listening
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, guys, we're gonna talk about
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: old school summer fun, some that stuff that we used
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: to do as kids, and the kids today have no
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: idea that we used. We had toys. Yeah, this is
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: just fun stuff. Fun like remember when your neighbors on
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: your block were watering their grass, even your parents. Did
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: you ever run through the sprinkles through and don't let
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: three one block all had a sprinkle a day. Yeah,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: just anybody had swimming drunks. You just out there in
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: your drum all jay ah. If you lived, if you
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: lived in an area that had ditches, you would you
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: would claws up the ditches, you would, you would fill
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: it up with water and that was your pooh oh, Yeah,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you played in the summertime. Summertime. How about Okay, I
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: don't know if y'all lived in the area where you
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: had a window fan, but you get close up to
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: that window fan. Yeah, and you put your lips over you. Yeah,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: how about this? Did you know that when you was
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: a kid, playing was your job? So all you had
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: to get out grandpam the house at nine and don't
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: come back to after five. You didn't get back in
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: the house, right, you drop water from the water hole
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: in the water hole. Yes, even like head. The only
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: way you could get back in the house was if
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: somebody was bleeding or did. Don't come back in the
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: house to after five, You couldn't get back in there.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Speak of water. What about water balloons? Remember balloons? That
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: was yeah, that was Oh that was fine. That was
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: used we used to do. We was ignorant. We jumped
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: off the house. Yeah, we could jump off the house.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Yeahbody any boys boys boys? Yeah, like fine old mattresses
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: that used to be out of trash. Date you used
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: it for like you was an Olympics. That's how you
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: learn to flip. Now, if it's raining, then I would
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: be on the porch where my sister would be playing
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Jack's I don't know where you live where you could
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: play because any Lee Brown, like you, if it's raining,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: you got to sit your ass down something because what work?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Because the lord is doing work? My mom was like
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: that until the day she passed away. When it was thunderstorming.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I'm getting that, I'm getting would would hang up the phone.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: You're being missing. You couldn't be. You couldn't watch, turn
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the TV off, get off the telephone, all that. Yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the tub whatever, you just had to sit still. Mom's
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: making a cake. But that bowl, you take that bowl
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: of that and get you a spoil man. That was delicious. Okay, okay, okay.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: How about you just take the cup and open up
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: that deep freezer and scrape the side wall of that
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: deep free and get that soft ice side of that
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: snow that good man. But sometimes the ice wasn't good.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: My grandma got it got chemicals in it. Boy, I
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: don't cola. Was you put kool aid on it? You
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: can taste it would taste like seasoned chicken col You're
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: getting too technical with it, right. Another fun thing you'd
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: like to do it the summer you go watch the
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: girls do house Scotch. Oh, yeah, right down now. I
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: love don't miss that five five. I loved Scotch and
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: double that. Yeah. I like Hide and go Seek and
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: then when it got right at dog, I hadn't don't
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: get it. But when you find the wrong one, like oh,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: I'm in here with burning, but you had to be
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: in before the street lights came. You knew out of time.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Let me take he he go to trickery with the
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: street light when you hit Yeah, you got home. You

- 1:20:31Speaker 1: have and how I'm gonna deal with it. It's basically
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: just keeping it real and saying, you know, I'm gonna
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: put it out there before it comes out there with
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: somebody else and twisting the story and uh. And he
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: has a positive attitude. And know I say this all
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the time, man, And when you're going through something like
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: this or pretty much anything, man, I think I'm blessed
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: to be a comedian and to be surrounded by comics. Man.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: So I can keep that positive attitude because the minute
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I started to get down, I might be replaced. So
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I have to keep a good attitude about the best
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: way to do that's the best way to Yeah, well anyway,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I mean, it's all it's about keeping a good attitude.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: And so but you know what, uh, um cancer patients.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I have found that even though they're going through cancer.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: They are they can be petty, they can really be
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: what do you mean, Oh, I'm telling my people who
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: have cancer can say some of the meanest things. So
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I'm in the room, I'm getting my I'm dripping up
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: that's what we call it. I'm getting I'm dripping up right,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I'm getting my drifts language. What you say, I got
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: drifted for sale. Yeah, And you learn a lot of
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: things when you're getting chemo. Man. I learned how to
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: ride on on the on the little things where they
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: keep you medicine and go down the hall real fast.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: I learned how to do that. I didn't know how
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to do that at first. So I'm sitting in the
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: room and I'm getting my chemo. I'm dripping up right,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and this lady, she's on the phone and she's just cussing, like, damn,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: you thought some prayers. I don't need the suppress the
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: hell that. I don't need no thoughts, some press. Keep
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: your thoughts and prayers. You can go to hell. And
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I'm like, can I get another room, please? Yeah? I
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: don't want to drip like that. I don't need to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: be so I always tell people, man, when you're gonna
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: through something like that. You got to really surround yourself
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: with positive people, so coming to work, do them a
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: stand up and you know, and it's the best thing
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: that you can possibly do for me what you do
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: when you and Junior do me a favor because I've been.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I've been what you've been. I ain't got that oka
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: like a wood, but I've been. But i've been, you know,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: charged up by some of our fails, Like why you
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: be saying things to Junior and Jay about what they're
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: going through. I'm making fun of it and making light
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: over the way you guys are, but I get chatted up, like, hey,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: why are you going to the boys just going through
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: some things? I'm like, hey, boys, but wait a minute,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: they should hear what we say off there. Oh my god. Yeah,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: it's only we can hair. Yeah I don't. I don't
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: see you know, see that. Plus you my boy, plus
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: you been in there day. Ain't get in that room.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Yeah you know he's been in there, in there. They
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: don't understand that. So it's just between us and as
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: far as us because let's say that it could be worse.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Let me tell you it can always. It could always
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: be worse. But can I say this though, you guys,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I mean, you know, you have given me such a
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: better outlook on how to deal with these type situations.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: You know what, you deal with it with humor and
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: great spirits and you, you guys actually make us laugh.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: You know because honestly, um Jay, when I first heard
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: about your dealing with leukemia, I was so broken up
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: and sad, I mean crying everything. I mean just devastated.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: But talking to you, yeah, you know, you made me
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: feel better. Well, you have got to hear some of
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: the comments that comedians give you, who just they have
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: no filter. Melanie Camacho said, quo, I can't believe you
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: wait to get one hundred and ten to get cancer.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: That's Melanie. I love me, Melanie. George Wallace said it.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Don't don't think because you have cancer, I'm not gonna
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: talk about your mama. That's George Wallace. Lukemia. Yet you
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: ain't done yet. It's pretty much the only way you
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: It's either you're gonna laugh at it or you're gonna
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: cry about it. Now, I don't get me wrong, there's
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: some days you have. I have bad days, and it's
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: like you have bad days. But for the most part,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: I gotta deal with it the best way I can't, man,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: And you know, thank you guys for supported because I
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: must admit I was really nervous about telling everybody about it,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and I just figured out that this would be the
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: best way to deal with It's put it out there
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: and let people deal to the way they wanted to
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: deal with it. Wouldn't hit from somebody else. Right. We're
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: in the hospital with Junior. He's consoling us. Oh, I
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: was in there, crime, I'm not leaving. Oh my god,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: I was no group now. I was like, Junior, do
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: you need anything? No, Shirley, I'm fine. The nurse has me,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: and it's good to have somebody to that. Missus Steve Harvey,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: because he don't do sick. You get off the phone quick,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: yeah hang up. Yeah. So I really applaud you guys
