Mindy's first stage was in her grandparents' basement, singing karaoke with family. Growing up in a musical household in Maryland, she performed in church, choirs, and her family's bluegrass band. At 15, a serious Lyme disease diagnosis paused her momentum, but music became her anchor, and by 16 was performing full-time. She formed her first band, recorded her debut album at 17, and toured bars, festivals and showcases.
