- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all sun giving them like a million bucks
- 0:17Speaker 1: things and it's not good. Steve to mother, don't join
- 0:50Speaker 1: join me. You gotta use that turn you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn't got to turn them out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Turn the water the water. Come come on your back,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will come on. Everybody, y'all listen
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice. Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey. Uh how a radio show? Yep? Yep.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Sometimes I saw all I can say. Yelp, Man, how
- 2:20Speaker 1: far I've come is really unbelievable. But you know I
- 2:23Speaker 1: finally figured it out. Man. God allowed me to have
- 2:29Speaker 1: the life I've had so that I can become experienced
- 2:34Speaker 1: at so many different things. And then this experience when
- 2:38Speaker 1: I'm talking and sharing with people, I will be able
- 2:42Speaker 1: to relate to a lot of different circumstances, not exact,
- 2:45Speaker 1: but just the circumstances. You know. You know, if a
- 2:48Speaker 1: person comes to men, they say, man, I've been down
- 2:50Speaker 1: and out. Okay, Well I know what that is, man.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't have any direction, Okay, got that
- 2:56Speaker 1: been there? Man? At one point in time, and I
- 3:00Speaker 1: just kept piling mistake on top of mistakes. Okay, so
- 3:06Speaker 1: you know, I think what I'm trying to say to
- 3:09Speaker 1: everybody is when you're going through life and life is
- 3:14Speaker 1: dealing the cards that it deals, I want you to
- 3:17Speaker 1: understand that life deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card,
- 3:23Speaker 1: the setback card, the failure card, the mishap card, the
- 3:30Speaker 1: unexpected misery card. Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody
- 3:36Speaker 1: gonna get, the rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna
- 3:40Speaker 1: get them. Understand that going in that everybody is gonna
- 3:46Speaker 1: get these cards. It's how you play them, though, you know,
- 3:54Speaker 1: from time to time, one more time, it's how you
- 3:56Speaker 1: play them, you know. From time to time when I'm
- 3:59Speaker 1: watch TV, I love to watch the World Series of Poker.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's
- 4:08Speaker 1: really weird. What's happened to a sport? To a poker
- 4:13Speaker 1: they're actually trying to call it a sport, you know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: And as the everyday guy that doesn't have to be
- 4:18Speaker 1: athletically inclined to anything, who has a shot of winning
- 4:23Speaker 1: a title if they play their cards right. The best
- 4:28Speaker 1: poker players in the world don't have the best hands.
- 4:33Speaker 1: They just make the best plays. I've seen guys win
- 4:38Speaker 1: a hand with nine two in their hand as nothing
- 4:42Speaker 1: and win their hand because they knew the bluff, they
- 4:45Speaker 1: knew the odds, they calculated risks, they made the stakes
- 4:51Speaker 1: higher than the other person was willing to pay. They
- 4:54Speaker 1: gave off the illusion that they had something with an actuality.
- 4:58Speaker 1: They had nothing. So what I what I enjoy about
- 5:03Speaker 1: poker and watching it is that these people, these people here,
- 5:09Speaker 1: played the hand they dealt and it ain't always a
- 5:12Speaker 1: good hand. But it ain't whether your hand is good.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And it ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards
- 5:18Speaker 1: or not, because you're gonna get dealt some bad cars.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gonna get two bullets in their hand. You
- 5:22Speaker 1: ain't gonna get two aces when you get dealt. You know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: when you play a draw poker, some of your cards
- 5:28Speaker 1: gonna be nothing. But you got to turn that nothing
- 5:31Speaker 1: into something. So when you get dealt these cards in life,
- 5:34Speaker 1: it ain't the fact that you get keep getting them dealt.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I was talking with a young person yesterday and we
- 5:40Speaker 1: were talking, and we keep having the same conversation over
- 5:43Speaker 1: and over and over and they could not understand why
- 5:46Speaker 1: they were not moving forward. But I said, you don't understand.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Every time we talk we have the exact same conversation.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It is simply because you keep getting your cards and
- 5:58Speaker 1: you playing them the same way. See. Until you make
- 6:01Speaker 1: a conscientious, the conscious decision to do something different, the
- 6:07Speaker 1: results will continue to be the same. See here's the
- 6:14Speaker 1: way this works. When you're dealt to disappointments in life,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's how you handle the disappointments that determine the outcome
- 6:22Speaker 1: and who you are. Because everybody gonna be disappointment, Everybody
- 6:26Speaker 1: gonna lose a love one, Everybody gonna make a bad decision,
- 6:29Speaker 1: Everybody gonna end wake up one morning they have done
- 6:32Speaker 1: something they regretted. Everybody gonna get caught at the wrong time.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Every everybody gonna make a mistake. It ain't just you.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That is how you play your cards when they get
- 6:43Speaker 1: dealt to you. That determine who you are. Na, how
- 6:46Speaker 1: do I play my cards better? First of all, it's
- 6:49Speaker 1: a mindset. Quit looking at everything as just the end
- 6:53Speaker 1: when it happens to you, Oh lord, woe is me? Nah,
- 6:57Speaker 1: everybody got your circum stances somewhere. It ain't old. Woe
- 7:02Speaker 1: is me. It's hold on, man, Okay, let me play
- 7:05Speaker 1: this out to see how God then connected this to
- 7:08Speaker 1: something else. See, as soon as a person have a setback,
- 7:11Speaker 1: what's the first thing A lot of people do, They
- 7:13Speaker 1: go straight negative. I can't see him to get a break.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I can't see him move forward. Hold on, man, do
- 7:18Speaker 1: you realize this could be connected to something? See you
- 7:22Speaker 1: got to understand, man, that this thing is all connected.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That you're not having these mishaps and these spills and
- 7:28Speaker 1: accidents and falls for no reason. It's so you can
- 7:31Speaker 1: become experienced at them. So when he takes you to
- 7:34Speaker 1: the next level, when it happens again, you have no
- 7:36Speaker 1: how and how to handle it. If you keep throwing
- 7:39Speaker 1: yourself off the cliff every time something happened, you're just
- 7:43Speaker 1: gonna be a cliff diver. Man, Stop tripping yourself out.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I was talking to this young person, I kept saying,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and you know what they tried to tell me. I'm
- 7:52Speaker 1: trying to stay positive. But the people around here, they're
- 7:55Speaker 1: just killing that. Oh. I see. So when you learn
- 7:59Speaker 1: something and you know something, you don't take ownership of it.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You allow other people to come into what you know
- 8:06Speaker 1: and believe and shake it loose from you. I don't
- 8:09Speaker 1: care who you are. You're not doing me like that.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Here's a deal. I have a gift that was given
- 8:14Speaker 1: to me from God. That is the gift of comedy.
- 8:16Speaker 1: That's what I've done. I've made the bulk of my
- 8:19Speaker 1: living on that skill set. Right there. That are comedians
- 8:23Speaker 1: who are supposedly friends of mine, who I've worked with,
- 8:26Speaker 1: who get around in huddles with one another and they say, man,
- 8:30Speaker 1: Steve really ain't funny. I don't see what they'd be
- 8:32Speaker 1: laughing at. He ain't funny to me. He wasn't the
- 8:35Speaker 1: funniest king to me. Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this
- 8:40Speaker 1: conversation because I regardless as to how you feel about me.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That are people think that I'm knocked down kill over funny.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But more importantly, I own the gift that God gave
- 8:51Speaker 1: to me. I take ownership of his blessing because you
- 8:55Speaker 1: don't think it so, you ain't taking that from me.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Stop letting people steal your joy. Stop letting people take
- 9:02Speaker 1: what you're supposed to know. Look, I'm a I'm a
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a kind person at heart. Man, you
- 9:08Speaker 1: ain't nothing now you said if you're going, man, I
- 9:10Speaker 1: guess I ain't what you're tripping for. You are a
- 9:13Speaker 1: kind person, own that take ownership of it. Stop letting
- 9:20Speaker 1: things God has given you be taken away from others.
- 9:23Speaker 1: The devil's a cold player, and he got cold players
- 9:26Speaker 1: working for him, just shaking, just taking stuff from you.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know, I'm a hard worker. I really am intelligent.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker. Man.
- 9:36Speaker 1: They came in here and said I was stupid. Man,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:42Speaker 1: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership. When
- 9:46Speaker 1: God gives you something, blesses you would have gifted talent,
- 9:48Speaker 1: a skill set, a mindset. Own it. Don't let people
- 9:53Speaker 1: come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't do with it. You're listening to show
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Here it is again all praises in
- 10:06Speaker 1: honor to our heavenly Father, who gives us life, who
- 10:10Speaker 1: gives us daily bread, who gives us opportunities to make adjustments,
- 10:16Speaker 1: who gives us new chances to start the day, who
- 10:20Speaker 1: wakes us up. Even though we do realize it is him.
- 10:26Speaker 1: We don't have the ability to wake up in the morning,
- 10:29Speaker 1: so thank you for that. It's another day of quarantine.
- 10:32Speaker 1: But man, ain't you glad you alive? I know I
- 10:35Speaker 1: am Charley Strawberry who God is gonna bring us on
- 10:38Speaker 1: through Steve. This too shall pass, just like everything else has.
- 10:45Speaker 1: And that may last a little bit longer than we
- 10:46Speaker 1: wanted to, but it's gonna pass. Colin Pharrell A man, brother,
- 10:51Speaker 1: Good morning. What's up? Crew? Ye? The three thousands wonder
- 10:57Speaker 1: of the world, Junior boy, I kill straits more than
- 11:03Speaker 1: everybody blessed to be in the building. That's all I know.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. The food nephew turning top top waiting
- 11:11Speaker 1: on East, baby, waiting on East. What the man said?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Easter be a good day. Everybody go to church. I
- 11:21Speaker 1: think it's gonna be beautiful. Hey, let me tell you something.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I ain't never been a
- 11:25Speaker 1: fan of his, but I shall hope you right. I
- 11:29Speaker 1: go with East. That sounds good right now? When is
- 11:32Speaker 1: East anyway? Oh? No, no, he said fourteenth before family
- 11:37Speaker 1: few predicted we go back to work on the fourteenth
- 11:40Speaker 1: of April. Okay, yeah, I don't know. I'm just gonna.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm taking advantage of this time off. I'm really decided
- 11:47Speaker 1: to turn this into a positive y'all. I'm working on
- 11:50Speaker 1: three things while I'm off. I'm looking on working on
- 11:53Speaker 1: my spirituality, getting the closer walk, and I'm working on
- 12:00Speaker 1: more of a teammate with with my girl me and Marjorie.
- 12:04Speaker 1: And the last thing is I'm going to get physically
- 12:07Speaker 1: fit while I'm off because I don't have to go
- 12:10Speaker 1: to work, So hey, might as well get fit for
- 12:15Speaker 1: your second job. You still coming to work. I still
- 12:18Speaker 1: come work, but I'm talking about how I normally work.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Like this, Oh this right here, this, I don't even
- 12:24Speaker 1: know what do it? All? This here? Essentially, I'm like,
- 12:28Speaker 1: this is off to me. Come in here to do radio?
- 12:31Speaker 1: This is off. Plus I love radio, So I mean
- 12:34Speaker 1: you know I ain't in here dragon, I'm like, I
- 12:36Speaker 1: come to work. I I come to do tell jokes, right, love. Ye,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I've made a commitment to encourage people doing this tough
- 12:48Speaker 1: time because people need uplift. Yes, and so I thought
- 12:51Speaker 1: that being funny, informative but enlightening would be health for
- 12:55Speaker 1: doing this time. That is not a death sentence for
- 12:58Speaker 1: all of us. That if you have prest in conditions.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It can be rather costly in your case. But there
- 13:05Speaker 1: are people who are coming through on the other side
- 13:07Speaker 1: of this. I got a la made an announcement that
- 13:11Speaker 1: they've tried their first shots on people that may provide
- 13:18Speaker 1: either vaccine or cure. Good. They made that announcement today.
- 13:24Speaker 1: It's a very reputable doctor who was saying this wasn't
- 13:27Speaker 1: the president. All right, Steve, Well, we're gonna move on.
- 13:30Speaker 1: We're gonna have a great show today. Thanks everybody for

- 14:53Speaker 1: some trying times right here. Yes lord remember remember me.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It reminds me at that time when uh, that bad
- 15:05Speaker 1: bad one went out. It was in the La Origion
- 15:10Speaker 1: in late sixties, the bad one fever, jungle fever, when
- 15:16Speaker 1: all the black men wanted white women's it's back in
- 15:25Speaker 1: the city pandemic. I was part of you were sick.

- 15:39Speaker 1: They bouncing that. That's what she wants you for your lifestyle. Anyway,
- 15:44Speaker 1: that was the last one. But you know, times has changed.
- 15:46Speaker 1: People do really be in love with each other now? Yes,
- 15:50Speaker 1: Oh it's totally different now. I like to see little
- 15:52Speaker 1: any racial couples and everything. You know, it's it's pretty.
- 15:58Speaker 1: You know, they had cute little family. You know. They
- 16:00Speaker 1: get divorced too though, Yeah, everybody, everybody get divorced. You know.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I voted for gay marriage too because I want them
- 16:09Speaker 1: to come on over here and see what it's like.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It ain't easy, Yeah, I don't care who. Yeah, Yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 1: it's the word in progress always how you like it now?
- 16:24Speaker 1: And Lord Jesus, what in the world and don A
- 16:27Speaker 1: Trump doing Dell? You know, he had his daily uh
- 16:33Speaker 1: update of you know, the pandemic and and just informing
- 16:36Speaker 1: people of what's going on. And he said that, um,
- 16:40Speaker 1: he thinks it should be over by easter. You know what.
- 16:44Speaker 1: M h Yeah, things to get back to normal by
- 16:49Speaker 1: Easter April twelve. About that, Wait a minute, he gonna
- 16:52Speaker 1: pick easter? Yes, well, yeah, because he said it was
- 16:55Speaker 1: a beautiful time. He thought it was a beautiful time.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I know he ain't trying to say, Jess Cars, Christ Roles,
- 17:02Speaker 1: we post a ride too. Well, he didn't ask. I know,
- 17:05Speaker 1: he ain't trying to draw correlation tween easy or helps
- 17:09Speaker 1: out here today? And my Lord and saved him. Why
- 17:13Speaker 1: she now he gonna make me she he gonna make
- 17:16Speaker 1: me roll up on him. That what he ain't got
- 17:20Speaker 1: to be careful. He needed to be careful. I got
- 17:24Speaker 1: some secret service in all that. Yeah, and you know
- 17:28Speaker 1: some of the reporters, Sister Odell asked him if if
- 17:30Speaker 1: he had anything to base that on, any you know,
- 17:33Speaker 1: scientific fact or medical fact, and he said no, he
- 17:35Speaker 1: just thought it'd be a beautiful time. You know for
- 17:38Speaker 1: the churches to be filled on Easter. Didn't ain't ain't
- 17:43Speaker 1: we posted be practice of social distance? Yes, man, as
- 17:47Speaker 1: we are, so why we won't go back in the church?
- 17:50Speaker 1: M like that point? Yeah, sinse you make sense? You're
- 17:55Speaker 1: making like that church in Baton Rouge. Yeah about that one. Yeah,
- 17:59Speaker 1: what to do a thousand people? Sister Odell, I think
- 18:04Speaker 1: his name is Pastor Tony Spell in Baton Rouge. He
- 18:07Speaker 1: had a thousand people at church laying hands on him
- 18:10Speaker 1: and everything, everything, hugging him. Yeah, everything, Okay, I passed him.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You know, unless you got a test or a fascination. Right,
- 18:20Speaker 1: really needs to be careful. You know the thing with
- 18:24Speaker 1: being a Christian is you posted to have good sense.
- 18:29Speaker 1: God gives us medicine for read you ain't post if
- 18:36Speaker 1: he didn't gave you look at him. If he didn't
- 18:40Speaker 1: gave you the goodness, sense and grace you to be
- 18:42Speaker 1: a doctor. You think he made you a doctor, so
- 18:45Speaker 1: you not listen to him? Right? What is his pastors?
- 18:50Speaker 1: He black or white? He's white? His name is I know,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I know it. I'm sorry, I don't even know why.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I know he got black Parishi. We follow anybody where

- 19:19Speaker 1: That's right now. All they did was trickers. Know how

- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm not just randomly calling people. I actually have done
- 22:34Speaker 1: research in order to get your number. What I'm doing
- 22:37Speaker 1: is I'm not calling you as for being a model
- 22:41Speaker 1: that I'm going to portray on canvas, but you have
- 22:44Speaker 1: something far more greater visually that I would like to
- 22:48Speaker 1: behold on canvas. Now, you're married to your wife? Is
- 22:54Speaker 1: am I the whole whoa whoa whoa dab No for
- 22:58Speaker 1: who is this? Seriously? I want to but I could
- 23:00Speaker 1: get my number. I know how you get my number
- 23:02Speaker 1: because you're talking about my wife and stuff. I know
- 23:05Speaker 1: my wife, my name is Sebastian. I am with Art Institute.
- 23:10Speaker 1: What I'm trying to do was capturing and mortalize the
- 23:13Speaker 1: beauty of essence on cana lives. Okay yo, for real, though,
- 23:16Speaker 1: you just can't. You don't talk about my wife, all right,
- 23:19Speaker 1: So I'm not I'm not calling in a negative manner
- 23:24Speaker 1: towards your wife. I want to. I want to mortalize
- 23:27Speaker 1: her and capture her on canvas, the beauties that she beholds.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I've seen your wife several times, you guys reside, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 23:36Speaker 1: you see my wife? But wait, what do you see
- 23:38Speaker 1: my wife at? Why are you? Why are you? Why
- 23:39Speaker 1: are you watching my wife? I've seen her. She she
- 23:42Speaker 1: shops on one hundred and twenty fifth Street in Hallam.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I've seen her so many times there, and she holds
- 23:47Speaker 1: all the beauty that an artist would like to put
- 23:49Speaker 1: on Kansas. Like I said before, I have a huge
- 23:52Speaker 1: showing in May. You're welcome to come out as well.
- 23:55Speaker 1: There's going to be so many important people there. But
- 23:57Speaker 1: I want to call and get permission from you about
- 24:00Speaker 1: painting your wife. No, you ain't got that permission. Play well,
- 24:03Speaker 1: you just can't. You just can't go around following my
- 24:06Speaker 1: wife and trying to mortalize or whatever. I just said.
- 24:09Speaker 1: All right, so so, but I would like to let

- 24:27Speaker 1: with you? If you are crazy? You don't understand your
- 24:30Speaker 1: wife holds the essence that every artist wants. I don't
- 24:33Speaker 1: care what he holds. You can't be going around payton
- 24:36Speaker 1: folks heads. Is wrong with you, sir. That's the reason
- 24:39Speaker 1: why I'm calling trying to get permission from you. I, Sebastian,
- 24:43Speaker 1: want to put your wife on canvas because she holds
- 24:46Speaker 1: the essence that every artist wants to behold. She mortalized
- 24:50Speaker 1: the beauty of canon. Ohoa, whoa hold of God? Hold
- 24:52Speaker 1: of God? Hold of God? You're telling me you walking
- 24:54Speaker 1: around follom painting my wife's head. That are you doing?

- 25:21Speaker 1: duel with you, Sir. A duel, here's a duel. Who
- 25:27Speaker 1: they do? What they do? In fact? What name? It's
- 25:31Speaker 1: a bashi? Who come name is? That's a bashia? Sir.

- 30:27Speaker 1: Oprah and Steadman are self quarantining but not together, though
- 30:32Speaker 1: Stepman is in the guesthouse at their home in Santa Barbara.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Oprah said the reason Stepman is in the guesthouse is
- 30:39Speaker 1: because she's at a higher risk because remember she had
- 30:43Speaker 1: pneumonia late last year and Steadman just came back from Chicago.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Oprah said Stepman didn't take the COVID nineteen seriously at first,
- 30:51Speaker 1: while so now he's got to stay in the guesthouse. Yeah, yeah,

- 31:25Speaker 1: you tell? Finally, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
- 31:31Speaker 1: Induction ceremony has a brand new date, Steve November seventh,
- 31:34Speaker 1: at the Public Hall in Cleveland. It was originally scheduled
- 31:39Speaker 1: for May second, also in Cleveland, as it always is,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but like everything else, it fell victim to the coronavirus pandemic.
- 31:47Speaker 1: The class of twenty twenty is made up of the
- 31:49Speaker 1: Doobie Brothers, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and the Notorious Big.
- 31:54Speaker 1: It will be broadcast live on HBO U. Meanwhile, the
- 31:59Speaker 1: Hall of Fame you see him in Cleveland, remains closed
- 32:03Speaker 1: and we all know why because of the camp should
- 32:05Speaker 1: have put it on Easter Easter weekend. We're back. That's
- 32:08Speaker 1: our target days now. You have to clear that with Trump,
- 32:12Speaker 1: he just making up dage man. Have you ever been
- 32:16Speaker 1: to the Hall of Fame, Steve, the Rock and Roll
- 32:18Speaker 1: Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Ain't been to the new stadium,
- 32:23Speaker 1: ain't been to the new basketball Arena. You don't get
- 32:26Speaker 1: back there very often, huh. And when I go, I'm
- 32:30Speaker 1: just coming to see some dudes. I know. Now, didn't
- 32:33Speaker 1: you have a street named after you? There? And the
- 32:35Speaker 1: street I grew up on. I ain't seen that sign yet.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Tommy's seen it. Then I tried to tell him to
- 32:44Speaker 1: go down, to go all the way down where I live.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You got scared him the god man or you pray
- 32:54Speaker 1: filling the change from the main street but half a
- 32:57Speaker 1: block in. Now, see you was up there on Superior,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I said, Timmy, go down. Now there's an alley call
- 33:05Speaker 1: to coma dn you walk down that hill. That's where
- 33:07Speaker 1: I'm at now, all right, Steve, Time to get caught
- 33:16Speaker 1: up on today's head, ladies and gentlemen. Miss a trip.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Thank you, Good morning, everybody. This is a trip. The
- 33:21Speaker 1: US Senate has come to an agreement on a two
- 33:24Speaker 1: trillion that's trillion with a t two trillion dollars of
- 33:28Speaker 1: coronavirus stimulus package. This is the largest rescue package in
- 33:31Speaker 1: US history, and it includes two hundred and fifty billion
- 33:34Speaker 1: dollars to individual Americans, you know, giving individual Americans checks
- 33:38Speaker 1: based on how much they make. Of course, if you
- 33:40Speaker 1: make more than ninety nine thousand dollars a year, you
- 33:43Speaker 1: get nothing. Three hundred and fifty billion dollars in small
- 33:46Speaker 1: business loans, two hundred and fifty billion dollars in extra
- 33:49Speaker 1: unemployment benefits. It's chock full of stuff like that. So
- 33:52Speaker 1: we'll see how it shakes out. But that is the
- 33:54Speaker 1: agreement worked out. It was like, took five days of negotiating.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It is a bipartisan deal. According to the coronavirus numbers,
- 34:01Speaker 1: they're four hundred and seven thousand, four hundred and eighty
- 34:03Speaker 1: five positive cases worldwide, eighteen thousand, two hundred and twenty
- 34:07Speaker 1: six death, the US reporting fifty two thousand, nine hundred
- 34:10Speaker 1: and thirty four confirmed cases, seven hundred and one death.
- 34:14Speaker 1: And now the World Health Organization says eighty five percent
- 34:17Speaker 1: of all new COVID cases are either coming out of
- 34:20Speaker 1: Europe well the US. At the same time, though President
- 34:23Speaker 1: Trump is saying he wants to reopen the country in
- 34:25Speaker 1: just a few weeks. He says he wants to see
- 34:27Speaker 1: the churches full on Easter Sunday, because, as he said
- 34:30Speaker 1: at a Foxtown Hall meeting, he didn't want to start
- 34:33Speaker 1: out the US businesses in the first place. They came
- 34:35Speaker 1: in experts and they said, we're gonna have to close
- 34:38Speaker 1: the country. I said, We've never closed the country before.
- 34:41Speaker 1: This has never happened before. I gave it two weeks,
- 34:44Speaker 1: you know, I guess by Monday or Tuesday. It's about
- 34:46Speaker 1: two weeks, and we'll assess at that time, and we'll
- 34:50Speaker 1: give it some more time if we need a little
- 34:51Speaker 1: more time. But we have to open this country. However,
- 34:54Speaker 1: many disease experts say the pandemic might not even peak
- 34:57Speaker 1: by Easter. Meanwhile, New Jersey's reporting three thous six hundred
- 35:00Speaker 1: and seventy five cases forty four death and now LA
- 35:03Speaker 1: Mayor Eric Garsey, this is LA. They're saying that the
- 35:06Speaker 1: City of angels is only six weeks behind New York
- 35:09Speaker 1: City in the progression of the virus. New York City
- 35:11Speaker 1: Mayor build A. Blasio says that the Big Apple will
- 35:14Speaker 1: be receiving those four hundred ventilators problems from the federal
- 35:17Speaker 1: government's medical stockpile. Ventilators needed to help people with severe
- 35:21Speaker 1: respiratory problems to keep breathing. However, Governor Cuomo doesn't want
- 35:25Speaker 1: the President thinking he's actually want some brownie points on that.
- 35:28Speaker 1: What am I going to do with four hundred ventilators
- 35:30Speaker 1: when I need thirty thousand? You pick the twenty six
- 35:34Speaker 1: thousand people who are going to die because you only
- 35:36Speaker 1: sent four hundred ventilators, Trump says Cuomo is quote supposed
- 35:40Speaker 1: to buy his own ventilators. Some twelve thousand New York
- 35:43Speaker 1: City residents have tested positive for the COVID virus. Over
- 35:46Speaker 1: one hundred people have died. Stock market moved up a
- 35:49Speaker 1: bit as word came to members of Congress whom moving
- 35:51Speaker 1: closer to passing that stimulus package. And sad news. African
- 35:56Speaker 1: jazz funk star Man of Dabano has died from the
- 35:58Speaker 1: coronavirus Vangal, originally from Cameroon, died at age eighty six
- 36:03Speaker 1: in a Paris hospital. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:05Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show well, Steve. Yesterday, President
- 36:11Speaker 1: Trump decided to have a town hall meeting with only
- 36:14Speaker 1: Fox News. Okay, only Fox News. He knew he could
- 36:18Speaker 1: go and say whatever on Fox right, Yeah, the President
- 36:22Speaker 1: is concerned about the economy, he said. He said, we lost,
- 36:24Speaker 1: we lose thousands to the flu. We don't turn the
- 36:29Speaker 1: country off. The President went on to say he hopes
- 36:32Speaker 1: to have a country opened by Easter. As we mentioned earlier,
- 36:35Speaker 1: that's on April twelve. However, doctor Anthony Fauci, who's head
- 36:39Speaker 1: of the Coronavirus Task Force, and other medical experts have
- 36:43Speaker 1: said over and over again, this is a very serious
- 36:47Speaker 1: and contagious virus. It's more contagious than the flu. We
- 36:51Speaker 1: are in stay at home containment orders to help try
- 36:55Speaker 1: to preserve the healthcare system and save lives. Of course,
- 36:59Speaker 1: and Steve, we also know that New York and California
- 37:01Speaker 1: and Washington State are the hardest hit states, and now Louisiana.
- 37:06Speaker 1: We won everyone in the state of Louisiana to obey
- 37:09Speaker 1: the state at home order to combat the virus. There
- 37:12Speaker 1: are close to seven hundred cases in New Orleans. It's
- 37:17Speaker 1: the fastest growing city right now. Yeah. See, you know,
- 37:22Speaker 1: as far as him doing a town hall at Fox, yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 1: that was it was starting to get out that a
- 37:27Speaker 1: lot of Fox viewers were upset because of the messaging
- 37:31Speaker 1: that he was sending out and Fox was only playing
- 37:35Speaker 1: the upside. Yeah, and it caused a lot of people
- 37:38Speaker 1: not to take it serious. Now, of course, I'm not
- 37:40Speaker 1: saying that's to read the New Orleans is that shape,
- 37:43Speaker 1: because I'm sure it's not. But at a lot of
- 37:46Speaker 1: Republicans were upset because Fox would downplay everything, making it
- 37:52Speaker 1: like the President is doing such a good job, and
- 37:54Speaker 1: it has caused a lot of people not to take
- 37:57Speaker 1: it as serious as they should have. Yeah. This old thing, though,
- 38:00Speaker 1: y'all is they found a way to politicize it. And
- 38:04Speaker 1: it's really horrible because so many people are going to
- 38:06Speaker 1: be sick because of this thing, and that don't have
- 38:10Speaker 1: to be because a little if America is the richest
- 38:13Speaker 1: nation in the world, okay, okay, where the respirators? Where
- 38:17Speaker 1: are the things that that that the medical people need,
- 38:24Speaker 1: our first responders? Where is this stuff? We're the most
- 38:28Speaker 1: we're the richest country in the world, but we are
- 38:31Speaker 1: also the most capitalistic. So ain't nobody giving you nothing
- 38:37Speaker 1: without getting the money first. That's the American way. They're
- 38:42Speaker 1: not getting around that system. That's why he is insisting
- 38:45Speaker 1: that we can't shut a country down because we've lost
- 38:50Speaker 1: thousands of lives, because What he's talking about shutting down
- 38:55Speaker 1: is business. It ain't the country. It's the business of
- 38:59Speaker 1: being the country that he's more concerned about than the
- 39:02Speaker 1: health and welfare and and and it's obvious the way
- 39:05Speaker 1: they're doing things. Coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 39:08Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna switch gears. The CEO. I hear
- 39:11Speaker 1: he's in the building, the Chief Love. Oh, we'll talk
- 39:16Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:22Speaker 1: steven Show. All right, Steve, it's time for the Chief
- 39:26Speaker 1: Love Officer, the CLO. Will you go get him? Please
- 39:30Speaker 1: have some questions, Okay. Stevens was from Jarvis in Charlotte,
- 39:35Speaker 1: North Carolina. Uh, this one says. My girlfriend and I
- 39:39Speaker 1: have been going together for almost a year. I would
- 39:42Speaker 1: say that I'm a handsome guy, but my girlfriend is
- 39:45Speaker 1: super jealous and paranoid. I always get accused of looking
- 39:49Speaker 1: at pretty girls whenever we go anywhere in public. Yes,
- 39:53Speaker 1: I look at beautiful women, but I'm not flirting with
- 39:55Speaker 1: them or trying to holler at them. I'm not going
- 39:58Speaker 1: to stop acknowledging other beautiful sisters when I'm out with
- 40:01Speaker 1: my girl. Why is my girl so paranoid? Is that normal.
- 40:05Speaker 1: First of all, you're stupid. How stupid are you really? Dog?
- 40:12Speaker 1: You can't be this stupid? Now. First of all, listen,
- 40:16Speaker 1: you consider yourself a good looking guy. But and when
- 40:19Speaker 1: you're out in public you look at women that that
- 40:21Speaker 1: don't make you cute? Dog, because you look at women
- 40:25Speaker 1: what they gotta do with how you look? You just
- 40:27Speaker 1: wanted to inform us of that, which is another stupid
- 40:31Speaker 1: thing you just said. But are you kidding me? Dog?
- 40:34Speaker 1: You're just saying, I'm not gonna stop acknowledging other beautiful
- 40:37Speaker 1: women just because I'm out with my girl. You're not
- 40:39Speaker 1: gonna have a girl, dog, see, because the problem is
- 40:43Speaker 1: your arrogance. Your arrogance is the first thing I'm not
- 40:47Speaker 1: gonna stop. But then the second thing is your disregard
- 40:52Speaker 1: for your girl's feeling. You're disrespectful. What is wrong with you?
- 40:57Speaker 1: What you dog's way? You gotta daddy man, Dog, You
- 41:05Speaker 1: ain't got nobody that ever, you could have ran this
- 41:08Speaker 1: by in what your friends saying? What what suckler dudes
- 41:13Speaker 1: you in? I mean, damn dog. But he thinks it's her, Steve,
- 41:17Speaker 1: that she's paranoid, that she's not. No, he's listened to me.
- 41:22Speaker 1: This is arrogant. She's paranoid because I look good. No, Dog,
- 41:28Speaker 1: your disrespect she's concerned. See, I'm not gonna stop looking
- 41:33Speaker 1: at dog. Why are you staying at these women like this?
- 41:36Speaker 1: Because as a man, if you keep staying at him,
- 41:39Speaker 1: you gonna want what you want. Yeah, not dog. Hey, look, man,
- 41:43Speaker 1: why don't you do this right here? You're too disrespectful
- 41:47Speaker 1: at this point and too self centered to be in
- 41:49Speaker 1: a relationship. Why don't you let your girl go and
- 41:52Speaker 1: then you go do whatever you want to do. But
- 41:54Speaker 1: you can't have your cake and eat it too, dog.
- 41:58Speaker 1: If you want to be in a relationship, then may
- 42:00Speaker 1: a commitment to the girl. You can't have her thinking
- 42:02Speaker 1: that y'all ain't got nothing because you you're eating your cake,
- 42:06Speaker 1: but you looking over to everybody else's played with cake
- 42:09Speaker 1: and pound Pardner that let me get a scoopid That
- 42:14Speaker 1: damn Pardner, that ain't how to this work? You got
- 42:16Speaker 1: your bowl? He sees nothing wrong with his act. No,
- 42:20Speaker 1: it's because because he's self centered and arrogant. Yeah, and
- 42:24Speaker 1: then you couple that with disrespect and you have you
- 42:28Speaker 1: don't have a very good combination. Your girl should leave you. Dog,
- 42:32Speaker 1: you're pretty self pretty for her. I can't stand with
- 42:36Speaker 1: a dude, so I'm really attractive? Why he I don't

- 43:04Speaker 1: with mouthwash when he wants to be intimate with me.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Intimacy is the last thing on my mind when he's drunk.
- 43:11Speaker 1: How can I make him understand that? When he's drunk,
- 43:14Speaker 1: I don't want his hennessy smelling kisses all over me. Yeah,
- 43:18Speaker 1: there's a problem, Charissa. You know it's not no how
- 43:26Speaker 1: do I it's your body? It's you Now? Are they married? No? Well,

- 43:46Speaker 1: I don't know if it's says that you don't like
- 43:48Speaker 1: the person he becomes when he drinks, or you just
- 43:51Speaker 1: don't want his drunk breath on you and he try
- 43:53Speaker 1: to cover it with mouthwash. You don't want it. You
- 43:55Speaker 1: ain't gonna have it. That'll stop a drink from drinking.

- 49:53Speaker 1: me here. And I'm numb like this, but I'm not
- 49:55Speaker 1: to come bring no brown man, no toilet paper because
- 49:58Speaker 1: he is responsible when he's going into restroom. That sound
- 50:01Speaker 1: like a personal problem. You you too wrong for that
- 50:03Speaker 1: that this is sent your wasted though this is an emergency. Man. Man,
- 50:06Speaker 1: that don't sound in the urgency. That sounds like a

- 51:17Speaker 1: I gotta ask you man, one more thing. What is
- 51:19Speaker 1: what is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 51:22Speaker 1: show in the land, The Steve Harvest Show. Y'all played
- 51:25Speaker 1: practical jokes, told folks man, I'm a paper y'all got
- 51:33Speaker 1: to the house. Y'all stacked up on paper. Whole garage
- 51:35Speaker 1: full of paper. You played too much. My biggest period
- 51:42Speaker 1: pandemic or no pandemic, that's my biggest. Always stock up
- 51:45Speaker 1: on that. Yeah, you got what I mean. I mean
- 51:50Speaker 1: like quantity wise, I don't know. I don't want to
- 51:53Speaker 1: say that. Then people will be mad. They'll say I'm hoarding.
- 51:56Speaker 1: But I do it anyway. But you've been saving. Yeah,
- 52:00Speaker 1: you had them way before this came you back. I
- 52:03Speaker 1: got a cabin full. Yeah, okay, that's man. Sure I do,
- 52:08Speaker 1: but I always do, not just too for somebody who
- 52:12Speaker 1: don't even eating. How good you got to eat? What
- 52:25Speaker 1: out what I was? Yeah? I mean, when's we doing
- 52:30Speaker 1: all these pables? Really funny? God? But do you have
- 52:34Speaker 1: any food? Now? That nothing in there? So where would
- 52:40Speaker 1: you keep food time? If you ain't got no kitchen?
- 52:42Speaker 1: See right there, I ain't never about it, ain't had
- 52:45Speaker 1: no kitchen. Never heard people that kept their kitchens remodeled
- 52:50Speaker 1: housing alway that kitchen that she had lived in for
- 52:57Speaker 1: a year and a half and opened up the oven
- 52:59Speaker 1: and they still head the cardboard paper. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 53:06Speaker 1: I'm just tripling on you. Remind it something you ain't
- 53:08Speaker 1: never used before. Maybe I'll use it after this? Girl stop,

- 53:46Speaker 1: your letter, just like we're gonna read this one right here,
- 53:49Speaker 1: right now. Bug, hold on tight, we gotta fire you
- 53:52Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. All right, here we go. Subject. I'm starving
- 53:58Speaker 1: and I need a larger portion. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 54:03Speaker 1: been in a relationship for a little over a year
- 54:05Speaker 1: with a wonderful man that I met online. We're both
- 54:08Speaker 1: in our forties and never been married. He is on
- 54:12Speaker 1: the shy side and hasn't dated a lot. When we met,
- 54:15Speaker 1: I could tell that he was a lot more laid
- 54:17Speaker 1: back than me, and he did not have much experience
- 54:20Speaker 1: with women. So I was patient with him and he
- 54:23Speaker 1: started opening up more. I was also patient with him
- 54:26Speaker 1: in the bedroom after I noticed he was not as
- 54:29Speaker 1: experienced as I am. I had to teach him everything
- 54:32Speaker 1: and train him on how I like it. He did
- 54:36Speaker 1: everything just like I taught him, but he has not
- 54:39Speaker 1: tried anything new on his own. I encouraged him to
- 54:43Speaker 1: watch a few videos on a porn site, but he
- 54:46Speaker 1: said that those guys on there are wild and have
- 54:48Speaker 1: no respect for women's bodies. I wanted to yell at him,
- 54:52Speaker 1: but instead I told him that sometimes it's good to
- 54:56Speaker 1: go a little wild and crazy. He doesn't get it,
- 54:59Speaker 1: and on top of he's not that well endowed, so
- 55:03Speaker 1: I always end up starving for a larger portion to
- 55:06Speaker 1: feast on. I know this is something we can work out,
- 55:10Speaker 1: but I need to know how to reach him and
- 55:12Speaker 1: get him to be more open minded. I don't want
- 55:14Speaker 1: to scare him away by being the aggressor in bed.
- 55:17Speaker 1: He's dominant at work, when we're out on dates, and
- 55:21Speaker 1: when he interacts with his friends, but he turns into
- 55:24Speaker 1: a puppy dog in the bedroom. So surely should I
- 55:27Speaker 1: release my inner beast and show him what I like?
- 55:30Speaker 1: Or should I keep acting like a drill sergeant in
- 55:33Speaker 1: the bed telling him what to do. We're compatible in
- 55:36Speaker 1: every other area. Please advise, drill sergeant. Mmmmm nah, I
- 55:45Speaker 1: don't necessarily advise. You'd be you know that you're a
- 55:48Speaker 1: drill sergeant or anything like that. That could definitely, you know, me,
- 55:54Speaker 1: a turn off because men have really fragile egos. You know,
- 55:56Speaker 1: you're yelling at him, do this? Do that? You know,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and based on what you said in the letter, that's
- 56:02Speaker 1: not working anyway, so it might be time to switch
- 56:05Speaker 1: your game up. I don't think you could take him
- 56:08Speaker 1: too fast. I think you know, his pace is quite
- 56:10Speaker 1: different from yours. You mentioned in the letter that he
- 56:13Speaker 1: was shy. He's in his forties, he hasn't had much experience,
- 56:16Speaker 1: so he's shy. I think demanding that he watched porn
- 56:19Speaker 1: and do like those guys in the videos that turned
- 56:22Speaker 1: into a turn off for him. So that's not it.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I think in spite of all this, you did put
- 56:28Speaker 1: some work in. You got him to finally loosen up,
- 56:31Speaker 1: you know, and do the things you taught him. But
- 56:34Speaker 1: now you're mad because he hasn't tried anything new and wild.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Maybe he's just not that guy. Maybe he's just not
- 56:41Speaker 1: that guy, and maybe he never maybe he never will be.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I think you need to be a lot more patient
- 56:46Speaker 1: with him, except him for who he is and his
- 56:50Speaker 1: shortcomings that you mentioned. That's if you're planning on staying
- 56:53Speaker 1: with him, and it sounds like you are. You said
- 56:55Speaker 1: you think you can work things out, but again, not
- 56:59Speaker 1: like the drill start. You have to compliment him and
- 57:02Speaker 1: what he's doing. Right. You got to tell him how
- 57:04Speaker 1: it makes you feel, tell him you know the things
- 57:07Speaker 1: that you'd like. Continue to do that and ask him
- 57:10Speaker 1: what he likes. You didn't even mention anything about that
- 57:12Speaker 1: in the letter, because you know, just because you have
- 57:15Speaker 1: more experience than a man and all that, that doesn't
- 57:17Speaker 1: mean that you're satisfying him. That doesn't mean that necessarily
- 57:22Speaker 1: if this doesn't get you what you want in the
- 57:23Speaker 1: bedroom from him, I mean, you just gotta face some
- 57:26Speaker 1: facts that this may be as good as it gets,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and he might not be that guy for you sexually.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Sex is really important in a relationship, and you may
- 57:35Speaker 1: be too advanced for him. You just might be that.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You know, it depends on how much patience you had.
- 57:40Speaker 1: And if that's the case, Yeah, that's the case, you
- 57:44Speaker 1: might have to find someone that's more sexually compatible with you.
- 57:47Speaker 1: And that's okay, Steve, Well, well, well look him. Well,
- 57:55Speaker 1: I see this letter a little bit differently. First of all,
- 57:57Speaker 1: Shelly's advice was very spot on. You should do all
- 58:01Speaker 1: of what she said. I've kind of read the letter
- 58:04Speaker 1: a little bit different some time, because I don't really
- 58:06Speaker 1: care you both in your forties, they've never been mad,
- 58:10Speaker 1: right there? Why? Why? Why both of y'all in y'all
- 58:14Speaker 1: forties ain't ever been Maddy? See something wrong with both
- 58:17Speaker 1: of y'all. He too damned shine, you too damn much Yep,
- 58:22Speaker 1: that's what it is. Yep, you've been too much your
- 58:25Speaker 1: whole damn life. That's why you ain't never been mad before.
- 58:28Speaker 1: And he ain't never been enough damn whole life. That's
- 58:31Speaker 1: why his ass ain't never been mad before. So y'all
- 58:34Speaker 1: just too fun of y'all people, One of y'all too
- 58:38Speaker 1: much in the earlier not enough, and now y'all meta
- 58:40Speaker 1: your own line and now y'all trying to make it work.
- 58:43Speaker 1: When we met, I could tell he was a lot
- 58:45Speaker 1: more laid back than me. Hell, everybody more laid back
- 58:48Speaker 1: in you probably, And he didn't have much experience with women.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Ain't the whole body gonna have all the experience you
- 58:56Speaker 1: gotta sound like? I was patient with him, and start
- 58:59Speaker 1: he started opening up more, he tried to learn. I
- 59:02Speaker 1: was patient with him in the bedroom after I noticed
- 59:04Speaker 1: he was not as experienced as I am. Well that
- 59:07Speaker 1: was good. You had to teach him everything and train
- 59:10Speaker 1: him high like it. Oh okay, Or you're a trainer now,
- 59:16Speaker 1: oh oh I see, Oh oh you're a trainer now.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Oh you makes people better in bad Could this explain
- 59:28Speaker 1: why both of y'all in y'all forties and ain't nobody
- 59:31Speaker 1: being bad. You're a trainer, and he ain't ever been trained.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I think I see something in this letter right here.
- 59:39Speaker 1: He did everything just like I taught him, But he
- 59:43Speaker 1: ain't tried anything new on his own. Hell, all of
- 59:45Speaker 1: it new to him. All this you showed him, this
- 59:50Speaker 1: is brand new. So it ain't that he ain't trying
- 59:54Speaker 1: nothing new. He trying to perfect what he just learned
- 59:58Speaker 1: from who to try? You know, girl? You something else
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: when I come back. I got plenty more where that
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: came from. Just sit tight. Steve Harvey on five is more.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Yes you are, stee. We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I'm starving and I need a larger portion. We'll get
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters. Subject I'm starving and I need a
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: larger portion. Well, I was on commercial break and I'm
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: doing the letter. Something was brought to my attention that
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I have to address. I'm just talking about the woman
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: and the man in this letter right here. I know
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: it's a lot of forty year old women out there,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: and ain't nothing wrong with you for not being made.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: But your aunt saying, a six trainer, and that's what
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: this letter is about. A six trainer and a sex student.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: That's what this letter is about. So if you're in
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: your forties, you don't have to be offended because I'm
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: only talking about forty year old sex trainers and forty
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: year old sex students. Now back to what the hell
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I was saying. Now, she didn't taught this man and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: how to be everything she needed him in bed and
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: do it just how he liked it. And he didn't
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: done everything she said. The problem is he ain't tried
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: nothing new. But now, like I told you, Ellien, what
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you taught him is all new to him. It is new,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: so he trying to perfect this. The problem is he
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: ain't perfecting it quick enough because you're ready to move
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: on to next level six dahn. See, he didn't taught
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you what he knows. So you told him, you said,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I encourage him to watch a few videos on a
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: pawn sight. But he said, those guys a while and
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: have no respect for women's body. I wanted to yell
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: at him, Joe, what can't you want to take that's
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: a drill searching voice. Yeah, baby, I don't want to
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: do this to you. These me and are rough and
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: they disrespect with his body. That's what I want, baby,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Listen to me. I don't want to be to you.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: What the damn taste that? I want? Some respect? Give
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: me all the throw me in the float to hear
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you think I gave him the damn video tape fault
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: your pass and there talking about its true work. It
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: ain't too damn work. You ain't enough. See that's the
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: problem we got. She too much. I wanted to deal
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: it him, but instead I told him that sometimes it's
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: good to go a little wild and crazy. I want
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: some wild and crazy sex. So now what I think
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you need to do now here? I mean, he got
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: another problem too, What's that? He's not that well and dial?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: There you go. Now I'm starving and I need a
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: larger portion. See in other words, Well, no matter what
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I tell you, we're gonna come up, little short. You
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I mean, you know I think
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: this information I'm about to be give you might be
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: a little thing. You know what I'm saying. I think
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you need all or more fuller piece of information. I
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: think you need all I think I need to. I
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: need to share with you something. Uh and that's got
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: a little bit more substous to it. That got a
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: little bit more fat on it, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: So let me just go on and give you some suggestions,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: because you seem like you everywhere. So why don't you
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: bring a couple monkeys in the room tomorrow night? Just
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: things like that. Maybe, Yeah, go outside and ball the
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: neighbor Swain set they got kids, bring a bring a
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: jim bore in now. You know, I'll tell you what.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: This is a cheap. You don't need this, don't even
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: cost a lot. Get you a set of monkey balls
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: and put them in the bed room, seesaw. Bring a
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: massage table in there that don't cost him. You know.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Buy a book call Sex for Dummies. You know they
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: got the dummy books for everything. If you can't find
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: a book, yeah, you know, how about a Bobbie Q
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: grill rat? Just a rat. I don't know what you're
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: gonna do with it, but try something. I got an idea.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: You seem like a real wild girl girl. Go down
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: now and buy yourself a Politis machine and bring that
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: damn thinking that and strap your ass on that and
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: watch what happened. Then, yeah, you've got to do some things.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: That's a little bit extra. Now we're compatible in every
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: other area, please advibe. So now let me say this
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: tea system. You don't met a man that's great in
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: every area. Treat you like a queen, y'all talk, Ye'll
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: have a great time. He do what you're told him
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: do He just he ain't that will and died and
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: he ain't. He ain't in her brain, you know. Now,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: surely said you could leave him and go get somebody else.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: But now you got some big man ding. Go up
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: in there, do all of that. Paint you just the
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: way you like to be painted. Fry your bacon like
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you wanted fried, you know, rub it, flip it, pancake,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: toss you all that. Oh no, but he ain't worth
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: for damn, you ain't compatible. He don't want to go nowhere.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: All he want to do is come over and do it.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: So now I think you got a good man him.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I would work with him a little bit, teach him
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a little bit more. You're gonna have to let him
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: know who you really are. And this is how I
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: want you to do it when he laying in the bed.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I want you to crawl from the bad foom on
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the float. I'm in, I'm in. Go ahead, Yes, just
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: reach up with your arms and snatch his ass in
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: the float and vandalize his ass. I mean really, just
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: vandalize his ass and throwing back up on the bed. Now,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: he could either be better or he gonna leave you,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I'm saying. All right, post your comments on Today's Strawberry
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Letter and Steve Harvey FM, Instagram and Facebook coming up. See,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: we have more questions for the CLO right after this.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: You're listening to stew All right, Steve, here's another question
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: for ask the CLO the check before I start these
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: questions second round right here. You know, folks, you can
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: still order from Amazon and to come to your house
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: doing this quarantine. Act like a lady, think like a man. Yes,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: is a book that's about eleven years old now, but
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: it's still a great book. And I would like the
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: ladies to know though, that the new book is coming.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I'll be finished with it by August. It's coming. I've
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: been writing it. It's going to be an incredible look
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: into the mind of men and ladies. It'll tell you
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: exactly the things that you should do. That's all I
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: can tell you. Right, Come on us look forward to that.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Steve all right. This one is from Alicia and Dallas.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: She says, I was helping out a friend by letting
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: him stay with me for a month so he can
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: get back on his feet. He's been sleeping on my
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: couch and things were okay until last week when I
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: walked past him in my robe and he grabbed the
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: sash and untied it. I was a little turned on
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: by it, but I yelled at him and told him
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: to stop playing. Nothing has happened, but now the sexual
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: tension is thick. He said he wants us to be
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: more than friends. My best friend says he wants to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: be with me because he has nowhere else to go.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Am I being naive? Is my best friend? Right? Or
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: should I go for it? Curl? Yeah? When when he
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: grabbed your sash and your road came open and you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: said stop playing, Well that's how she said it. She
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: stopped playing. You played too much, You stopped you, you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: stopped What is you running this by your friend? The
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: sexual tension is big and then now he on your couch.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: You bounced by one more time. Yea, yeah, you already
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen one more head. First of all,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: what you're walking past him in the road for. Ain't
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: no putting him out? She won't him there. She invited
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the man over there. She ain't sick of him. She
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: ain't say the month is up, she said. He grabbed
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: my sash, and I told him you stopped playing, and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: it turned me on. She to her girlfriend, girl, I'd
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: have lost my month. He grabbed my sash, almost told
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: his ass, I get it. His thoughts though, Yeah, please
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Him living on the couch
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: ain't even a problem. Surely, it's just not even her
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: problem is what she gonna do with his sexual attention?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: What somebody she thought was his friend? I told women
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: all the time, me and be your friend. Not if
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: you attractive, ain't even be your friend. Pretty well, now, yeah,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I put him out now, that's what I'm saying. My prediction.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: It ain't gonna be on the couch much. Owner. This
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: is happening by friends, all right. Coming up at the
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: top of the hour. Due to COVID nineteen, some non
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: violent prison inmates are being released. We'll talk about that
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: right after this you're listening, well, Steven Rikers in New
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: York City is planning to release three hundred non violent
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: inmates from prison. This is after a prisoner tested positive
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: for COVID nineteen on the West Coast in La County.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: That jail is one of the largest prison systems in
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: the world. They have an average population of twenty two
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: thousand prisoners. They've released six hundred prisoners due to COVID nineteen.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: That's according to the La Sheriff's Department. They got to
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: do more than that. Yeah, twenty two thousand, yeah, six hundred. Yeah,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: but these are non violent prisoners. Now in other states,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the courthouses are closed, jury trials have been delayed. Prison
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: reform advocates from all of the country say that those
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: that are in jail or high risk, and several prisoners
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: are now banning in person visitors. So, yeah, this is
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: serious right here. No, I mean these prisoners, once you
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: get an inmate to test, there's close close quarters, there's
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: no way to go. Yeah, you're you know, these inmates
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: are human beings, man, And if they're in there for
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: non violent things, especially anyway, all of these people is
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: in there on drug charges. They should let all these
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: people out because we sell drugs. Now weed is legal legal.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean, I was watching a thing on
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Netflix the other day called q Ball. That's a really
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: great special. It's it's from Saying Quentin. It's this basketball
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: team and the Warrior's front office goes and plays them.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: You know, people who used to be basketball players that's
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: in that were played in college and stuff that work
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: for the Warriors, and you know, they spawnsed some uniforms
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and stuff. It's a really cool gesture that the Golden
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: State Warriors do. And the thing is called q Ball.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: It's on Netflix. It's a really great special. But it
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: just shows you, man, how many really, really good people
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: are locked up in prison. This one dude is in
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: there because of the three strike law. He has never
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: committed a violet and fence ever in his life. His
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: third offense was he was on the bike and he
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: was taking a gun somewhere and the police stopped him.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: He had a gun on him here in jail for
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: the rest of his life. He got more time than
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: people that do murder. And this black dude just been
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: in jail just cause of that. Now, stuff like that,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: they gotta start reviewing some of this and let some
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: of these people out, you know, people that violate their
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: probation on the technicality, you know, because they were late
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: going meeting up with their probation. Stuff like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I feel they should let him out. Douglas stuff, he
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: can get out. He can't come here, Junior. What they're
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: talking about? Who my great cousin Douglas. Yeah, my great cousin.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: He just he don't want of these relief programs. They
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: called me a very time. I can't he come to
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: the house. Uh no, See, there's a reason why inmates
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: got to go to a rehab house first, because they
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: gotta be reacclimated back to the side. Douglas can't come
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: straight out and come here. No, no, no, I'm not
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: gonna live in quarantine. I'm not gonna live in here
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: with Douglas with these prison rules. I'm not gonna do
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: that in my house. Around the corner, y'all want to
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: look around the corner and Douglas looking at me through
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: a mirror he got over his shoulder. I ain't gonna
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: do all that in here. I'm not gonna have Douglas
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: straight in his genea he don't want to iron. He
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: want to lay between the mattress and lay on him.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: We gonna do that, and I'm not gonna have all that.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I ain't gonna ba of time I walked past him.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: He lined up by the water, by the fireplace. I'm
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: not gonna do that. I'm not gonna do it. Every
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: time he eats, he looking over his plate up at me.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: He's gonna do something. You think I'm gonna give him
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Douglas a real knife and four in my house? But
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: you think company you've been quarantined Douglas. He go to
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: a halfway house. She already called. You think I'm gonna
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: give him Douglas on real knife and four? Do you
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: think I'm gonna do that? To eat with? Ye? At all?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: My look like little palm for chess gags? He called
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: the ball, So we quarantine. Now I got a bishop
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: and a king in here. I ain't I hear what
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: uncle saying. I hear what I'm saying, but not not
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: at my house. Now, I'm douggas go. But to sit
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: your ass out there on the Hudson. All right, I'm
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: sorry about that, Junior, coming up more trusting you stories
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and twenty minutes after,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening show. All right, Steve, some
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: update and this is a quick update on the prison
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: story we're talking about where Rikers in New York is
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: planning to release some three hundred non violent inmates from prison.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: This is after thirty eight prisoners tested positive for COVID nineteen.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: And you know what, man, and that's saying, let me
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: tell you something. These inmates are human beings. Whatever they've done,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: they're facing the same danger that everybody else is facing.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: And this is life threatening. And you've got to let
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: these inmates out of there, man, so they can go
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and get into a real quarantine because you can't quarantine
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: them in jail because there's nowhere to go. Disinfection just
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: goes from place to place to place. And they're not
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: taking care of these men and women at all. They
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: just got them all in there, and you don't. I'm
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: telling you that they're housed inhumanity. Now. People say what
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: they want, They don't. You can't do the time, don't
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: do the crime. You can. You can serve your time.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: You don't have to be treated like you're a piece
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: of garbage, animal no, and a lot of these people
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: in here for non violent drug related offenses, and you've
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: got to let these people go. Selling dope is not
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: a death sentence. Robbing somebody is not a death sentence.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: And that's what's happening. If you leave these men and
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: women locked up trying to prove point, we're going to
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: have a huge disaster because we got these people confined
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: in this space and all you're trying to do is
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: punish him for a crime, and death should not be
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the penalty. Yeah, all right, Well, all right, we'll have
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some trending
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: news coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: yesterday President Trump decided to have a town hall meeting
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: with only Fox News. Okay, only Fox News. He knew
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: he could go and say whatever on Fox, right. Yeah,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: the President is concerned about the economy, he said. He said,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: we lost, we lose thousands to the flu. We don't
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: turn the country off. The President went on to say
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: he hopes to have a country opened by Easter. As
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: we mentioned earlier, that's on April twelfth. However, doctor Anthony Fauci,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: who's head of the Coronavirus Task Force, and other medical
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: experts have said over and over again, this is a
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: very serious and contagious virus. It's more contagious than the flu.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: We are in stay at home containment orders to help
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: try to preserve the healthcare system and save lives. Of course,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: and Steve, we also know that New York and California
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: and Washington State are the hardest hit states, and now Louisiana.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: We won everyone in the state of Louisiana to obey
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: the stay at home order to combat the virus. There
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: are close to seven hundred cases in New Orleans. It's
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: the fastest growing city right now. Yeah. See, you know,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: as far as him doing a town hall at Fox, yeah,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: that was it was starting to get out that a
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: lot of Fox viewers will upset because of the messaging
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: that he was sending out and Fox was only playing
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: the upside. Yeah, and it caused a lot of people
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: not to take it sisus. Now. Of course I'm not
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: saying thats to reap the New Orleans is that shape
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: because I'm curious not, but at a lot of Republicans
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: were upset because Fox would downplay everything, making it like
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: the President is doing such a good job, and it
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: has caused a lot of people not to take it
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: as serious as they should have. This whole thing, though, y'all,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: is they found a way to politicize it, and it's
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: really horrible because so many people are going to be
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: sick because of this thing, and that don't have to
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: be because look, if America is the richest nation in
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the world, Okay, okay, what the respirators? Where are the
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: things that there that the medical are people need, our
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: first responders? Where is this stuff? We're the most we're
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: the richest country in the world, but we are also
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: the most capitalistic. So ain't nobody giving you nothing without
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: getting a money first? That's the American way. They're not
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: getting around that system. That's why he is insisting that
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: we head shut a country down because we've lost thousands
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: of lives. Because what he's talking about shutting down is business.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: It ain't the country. It's the business of being the
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: country that he's more concerned about than the health and
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: welfare and and and it's obvious the way they're doing things.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Coming up our last break of the day, it's the
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: last break of the day, you better say it. And
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: right after this at nine at right after this, at
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour you're listening to show.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are last break of the day.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: It's been a good day. We got through it, we
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: did day another day. It's interesting time that win, you know,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Yes it is. Let me say something. You know, as
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: as a morning show and our show has always been
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: first geared towards uplifting people and then secondly entertaining. I
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: mean we open with a spiritual message. We closed with
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: some type of message or promise or positive notes. So
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: we've all we've been in an uplift business here, but
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: entertainment is our main focus. But of late, because of
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: what we're going through around the world. South Africa, a
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: place that's very close to me, has now instituted a
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: mandatory twenty one day enforcement law over there. A friend
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: of mine what'sapped me and said, if you're outside and
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you don't have permission to be outside or one of
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: the special workforces, you're sentenced to thirty days in jail.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: That's happening in South Africa Botswana another places did in
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: my heart the leadership over there. They've closed the borders
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: of Botswana. Ain't nobody coming in he ain't don't drive
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: over here, don't flying here nothing. They're serious, man. Everybody's
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: aware of what's happening in Italy. Everybody's aware of what's
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: happening in China. Now we are keenly aware of what's
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: happening here in America. I want to say this to everybody. Listen, man,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: there is an upside to this. I know you've all
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: heard me say this a hundred times. If you listen
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: to the show, behind every moment of adversity, there is
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: a lesson and there is a blessing. We're gonna find
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: it in this. If you love God, and you all
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: personal faith, and you all believer, no matter how beaten
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: down you've been in life, you've recovered and and and
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and handled gotten through somehow all of it. No matter
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: what your position is, you've managed to somehow survive at all.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: This too shall pass. But in the midst of it, though,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: see that I was learning in my morning meditation, in
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: my daily devotional that really understanding God is thanking Him
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: and showing gratitude even in the midst of difficult times.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: It's hard for people to be thankful in the midst
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: of difficult times because you're so focused on the difficulty.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: And right now, we're so focused on the quarantine and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: the lack of work and the people losing positions and
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: paychecks that it's causing us not to be grateful anyway.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: And like I said, I know that's difficult what I'm
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: saying to you, but I've started finding ways to be
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: grateful anyway. The fact that we're still healthy, the fact
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: that we're still here, the fact that we now have
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: time to pause, and in this moment of pause, there's
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: an opportunity for all of us to do something and
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: turn this into something. Behind every moment of adversity, there
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: is a lesson and a blessing. I'm looking for both
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: of those. I'm looking for the lesson in it, and
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I'm looking for the blessing in it. So I just
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: made a conscious decision. The first day or two I
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: was going to stare crazy, and then I caught myself
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: and I said, wait a minute, Steve, hold on, man,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: that can be good in this. You can't go to work, okay,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I got I need to go to work. I want
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: to go to work, and I'm tired of be in
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: this house. I got that. I got that when heard
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: enough of it. But what can you do while you
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: have this moment of pause? And so three things I
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: decided to do. I said. Number one, I'm gonna get
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: better spiritual. I'm gonna have a closer walk. I'm gonna
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: really get in contact with God and go over my
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: visions and dreams with him. I'm anna real talk to
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: God about the things that are bothering me. And I've
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: started bringing a lot of stuff to him. I mean
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: a lot of it, man, matter of fact, all of him,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: every little thing. And I found out, man, I have
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: a much closer relationship with him when I just bring
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: everything to him. He really wants to talk to you
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: about everything. He ain't ever busy, he ain't ever tied up.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: You don't need to schedule an appointment. Man, This relationship
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: is really a good relationship, and you can do it
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: while you quarantine. You ain't got no distractions. Second thing
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I'm doing is I decided that Marjorie and I were
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: gonna be even better teammates. So we spent a lot
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: of time talking more about teammates stuff, and I find
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: out some stuff about her and some stuff about me,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: and you know we're laughing. You know we're going through
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: some challenges because we're in here now, you know, like
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: everybody else. But overall, I happen to not only love
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: this girl. I like this girl. So we cool now.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: If that ain't the case with everybody. If you don't
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: like the person you live with, you catching it right now.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: But it could be a time to repair some things too.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Maybe you really do still love the person, you don't
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: like them, but let's find out what's the things you
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: don't like. Maybe we can work on them while we're there.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: You can get through this, You really can if you
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: start remembering the things that you loved and liked about
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: the person in the beginning. Maybe the person forgot that
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you liked a couple of things. Maybe it's time to
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: remind each other. You can get closer together. Family time
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: is available. Now do stuff with your kids. I know
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: you don't feel like homeschooling them. I got all that,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: but that is an upside to this. You just got
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: to look for. And the third thing, I just decided
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I was gonna get physically in better shape. You know
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: if you got a balcony, go out on your balcony.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: You know you got a little room in your house. Man,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: you can do some calisthenics and work out. Maybe y'all
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: can cook together, eat better grocery stores. It's still all.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I've just decided to turn this into a positive, to
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: find the bright side. There is a lesson and a
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: blessing behind every moment of adversity. You gotta look forward,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: pray about it, and find it. You'll be okay, This
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: too shall pass. Those are my closing remarks. Y'all have
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: a great weekend. See it a maw bye bye for all.
