- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time to
- 0:05Speaker 1: y'all don't know, y'all a suit on giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the milking things and it's not good. Steve, Steve, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join me. You gotta do that. Turn you turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out, turn, got to turn them out
- 1:46Speaker 1: of water, the water go. Come come on your thing, huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I say, well, okay, martying everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, I got something for you today.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a conversation this morning about my understanding
- 2:23Speaker 1: of grace now that I've gotten older and I've come
- 2:27Speaker 1: in to a better understanding of a lot of things
- 2:30Speaker 1: I didn't know about when I was younger. This is
- 2:33Speaker 1: just my interpretation of grace. Now once again, y'all listen
- 2:39Speaker 1: to me. I ain't nobody's pastor, I ain't nobody's minister.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So you know, I'm pretty sure you can go to
- 2:46Speaker 1: church and get a far more extensive definition of one
- 2:49Speaker 1: I'm giving you. I'm just talking to people. You know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: Grace is this thing that that God provides for us.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And Grace's just things that you get that's really undeserving,
- 3:05Speaker 1: you know. I mean, I look at my life as
- 3:08Speaker 1: it is today. You now, look, I work hard and
- 3:10Speaker 1: I have faith in God that I do so things
- 3:14Speaker 1: are going to happen in my life. But the way
- 3:16Speaker 1: my life is now, I don't. I don't. I don't
- 3:19Speaker 1: deserve all of this. I don't don't. I don't look
- 3:22Speaker 1: at it that way. I have been the beneficiary of
- 3:25Speaker 1: God's grace. I have aligned myself in a position to
- 3:30Speaker 1: accept whatever grace God has for me, and it will
- 3:35Speaker 1: be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you could think of.
- 3:41Speaker 1: His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the goals that I set and the aspirations that I
- 3:49Speaker 1: shoot for, and the things that I have on my
- 3:51Speaker 1: dream board. I have the faith that God will give
- 3:53Speaker 1: it to me. But what He does with grace, he
- 3:56Speaker 1: gives you far more than that. He gives you what
- 3:59Speaker 1: He has for you, not what you can see. You
- 4:02Speaker 1: can't see all he has for you. It's impossible. Who
- 4:05Speaker 1: are you? How can you possibly imagine what he can imagine?
- 4:09Speaker 1: How can you possibly think, how he can think? How
- 4:12Speaker 1: can you possibly do what he can do? How can
- 4:14Speaker 1: it be that isn't a single mind living or a
- 4:18Speaker 1: collection of minds that could have thought of Earth. What
- 4:22Speaker 1: in your wildest imagination could have made you think of Earth?
- 4:26Speaker 1: The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy, the constellations.
- 4:33Speaker 1: What in your mind? What in any man's mind. We
- 4:37Speaker 1: can point at it and analyze it, but we show
- 4:39Speaker 1: it couldn't have thought of it. So come on now,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which
- 4:48Speaker 1: he will give to you if you if you want
- 4:50Speaker 1: some of it now. But now, his thing about grace,
- 4:53Speaker 1: it can't be bought. If it could, if it could
- 4:55Speaker 1: be bought, I'm telling you I would pour all the
- 5:00Speaker 1: money I have and dump it into grace, because, after
- 5:04Speaker 1: discovering what it is, it's this goodness that God shines
- 5:10Speaker 1: on you simply as a reward of some type for
- 5:14Speaker 1: his love for you and for you attempting for you,
- 5:19Speaker 1: attempting to do right, not because you get it right.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Because if He judged us purely on how we are
- 5:26Speaker 1: the right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed,
- 5:29Speaker 1: all of us, every last one of us, would be doomed,
- 5:34Speaker 1: because we all fall short, we all make mistakes, We
- 5:38Speaker 1: all sin. We all get it wrong from time to time.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Nobody's perfect. Man. Now I understand what my mother was
- 5:46Speaker 1: saying about cleaning the house. All I want is a
- 5:50Speaker 1: little more grace. All I need is a little more
- 5:53Speaker 1: grace when the last time you ask God for some grace.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm not talking to you like I know everything. If
- 6:00Speaker 1: you just benefit from His grace, which you already have,
- 6:04Speaker 1: but if you're not aware of it, you don't know
- 6:06Speaker 1: what's going on. Become aware of grace, Get aware of
- 6:10Speaker 1: the fact that God does things for you simply because
- 6:13Speaker 1: He loves you. He does things for you that you
- 6:16Speaker 1: don't even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just
- 6:19Speaker 1: got over when you didn't even do the things to
- 6:22Speaker 1: get over. Sometimes you don't even know how you got
- 6:26Speaker 1: that job you got when you ain't even really do
- 6:29Speaker 1: the things to get your job. How you end up
- 6:31Speaker 1: where you are all the education you thought you went
- 6:34Speaker 1: and got it, and hey, how you end up where
- 6:36Speaker 1: you are today in a much better position than your
- 6:38Speaker 1: education could have ever gotten you. That's grace. How I
- 6:43Speaker 1: get every place I am today. I didn't plan this, Man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: If I could have planned my life the way it is,
- 6:49Speaker 1: don't you know how to have have done it when I
- 6:50Speaker 1: was living in that car, if I knew how to
- 6:52Speaker 1: do it, No, I benefited from his grace. I'm just
- 6:56Speaker 1: a beneficiary of his grace, of his goodness and his mercy.
- 7:02Speaker 1: God's goodness is better than your goodness. God's goodness is
- 7:06Speaker 1: better than your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's
- 7:09Speaker 1: or your husband or your booze goodness. God's goodness is different.
- 7:15Speaker 1: His goodness man covers some stuff you can't even imagine.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So why are you trying to put your life together
- 7:22Speaker 1: when the last time you asked him for just a
- 7:25Speaker 1: little bit of grace? When have you thought of your
- 7:29Speaker 1: life in terms of the grace that it has already
- 7:32Speaker 1: benefited from? Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought
- 7:36Speaker 1: about you know? You hear songs like my soul looked
- 7:39Speaker 1: back and wonder how I got over? How's grace? That's
- 7:42Speaker 1: all I can call it. Now. Like I said, you
- 7:44Speaker 1: can go at church or somewhere ever you want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: and ministers that the wind at school to teach this
- 7:49Speaker 1: thing way better than me. I'm just giving you from
- 7:51Speaker 1: a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Would you not bewall to be a beneficiary of his grace,
- 7:59Speaker 1: would it not say? Now, check this out. The better
- 8:02Speaker 1: you try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to become,
- 8:14Speaker 1: the more the more grace he gets to put your way.
- 8:18Speaker 1: So man, just try, why don't you just try to
- 8:21Speaker 1: do better? Look man, quicktop mind, I'm gonna start next week.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna start at the new year. Now you naw,
- 8:27Speaker 1: you don't do that every year, you know, the embras
- 8:29Speaker 1: at the new Year. I'm gonna eat better at the
- 8:31Speaker 1: new Year. I'm gonna I'm gonna gonna get in here
- 8:33Speaker 1: and the new year. If you're gonna do it, you're
- 8:35Speaker 1: gonna do it now. Man, you're gonna do not stop
- 8:38Speaker 1: trying to do something, do it, stop talking about it,
- 8:43Speaker 1: do it now. The best way to benefit from his
- 8:46Speaker 1: grace is starting action now in old w now right
- 8:52Speaker 1: now today. What you're waiting on. All you're doing is
- 8:56Speaker 1: delaying his opportunity to bless you. You know, man, you know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: do you know how many times we do that? We
- 9:03Speaker 1: delay his opportunity to bless us by not starting now.
- 9:07Speaker 1: If you're gonna get healthy, why don't you start now?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Now You're gonna trip a little bit called to holidays coming,
- 9:13Speaker 1: But you ain't got to eat bad all the time.
- 9:15Speaker 1: You could start eating correct today, you could. You could,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and then guess what that could be? Some grace on
- 9:21Speaker 1: the end of that. I'm just giving you a little
- 9:24Speaker 1: cheap analogy. But do you feel what I'm saying to you?
- 9:27Speaker 1: Start thinking in terms of grace, what He has done
- 9:31Speaker 1: for you and provided for you that you ain't even
- 9:32Speaker 1: see coming that you know, you keep calling them blessings,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and I got that A lot of it house all
- 9:37Speaker 1: it is. But man, have you thought about the stuff
- 9:39Speaker 1: that didn't happen to you? You can't account for I.
- 9:44Speaker 1: For me, that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And that's available to everybody that wants some. Next time
- 9:51Speaker 1: you're talking to him, just check in with grace. See
- 9:53Speaker 1: what that is. That's that's better than money. You're listening,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, fist. I was gonna do Earl of Aldingham,
- 10:09Speaker 1: but I changed my mind, and so I just I
- 10:12Speaker 1: just allowed you to hear the mind change man it, boys,
- 10:16Speaker 1: something else. This best your radio brilliance when I allow
- 10:20Speaker 1: you to not only hear what I'm thinking, but hear
- 10:24Speaker 1: what I'm thinking as I changed my mind while I'm thinking, boy, boy,
- 10:31Speaker 1: shallow mind. That's that's a quote right there. That's that's
- 10:36Speaker 1: too much for early morning radio. Almost Yeah, you gotta
- 10:41Speaker 1: put that on like a news chandow of some see
- 10:44Speaker 1: it again. I can't tell me you don't remember just

- 21:17Speaker 1: one is from Lindsay and Jacksonville, who writes, I'm dating
- 21:20Speaker 1: a man that has a seven year old daughter that
- 21:23Speaker 1: loves talking slick to grown people. He puts her off
- 21:26Speaker 1: on me when I leave to go shopping or run errands.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Her behavior is making me reconsider my relationship, and he
- 21:33Speaker 1: keeps saying she will grow out of it. Do I
- 21:36Speaker 1: discipline her or take a break from them? Well, see
- 21:40Speaker 1: what I do is my father had a simple all
- 21:43Speaker 1: motto when we was being raids. Wherever you show out,
- 21:46Speaker 1: that's where you get worked out. We've all heard disciplined yet,
- 21:49Speaker 1: so see if you throw attention and fall in the
- 21:52Speaker 1: flow there we all though, can fall in the floor.
- 21:55Speaker 1: So since you were at seventh you like to talk slick,
- 22:00Speaker 1: let me introduce you to real slick talk. I'm gonna
- 22:04Speaker 1: lean down in your little Samie old ear and what
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'm thinking say in the yolder inside of your little
- 22:10Speaker 1: samiel head, gonna your ass is gonna be required some therapy.
- 22:16Speaker 1: So what you're not gonna do? See see, whenever you
- 22:18Speaker 1: talk slick to me, what I'm thinking my counter slick statement,
- 22:24Speaker 1: it's gonna throw you into something. Example. Okay, surely you
- 22:29Speaker 1: beat the child and you say something slick cooking. Oh hey,
- 22:32Speaker 1: what you got on today? I don't like that. I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: my head is a whole ass whipping on top of
- 22:38Speaker 1: you in a second. Daddy, Dad, ain't you real? Daddy?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Go ahead calling? I don't like your hair. It's ugly.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I don't is it a wig? It's ugly. I don't
- 22:56Speaker 1: like your mama's hell, but your daddy huh? And Gabe,
- 23:01Speaker 1: wish you didn't you daddy? Call you damn daddy already
- 23:10Speaker 1: he ain't here. We are shopping see right there. See
- 23:14Speaker 1: you're gonna stop talking slip to me so she'll have
- 23:17Speaker 1: no need to discipline her at that. Oh you ain't
- 23:19Speaker 1: got to worry about that slick talk. I'm gonna show
- 23:21Speaker 1: you how I go. I'm gonna hurt you, all right?
- 23:23Speaker 1: All right? Moving on to Hailey and London. Haley says,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I'm working remotely and I have not seen my husband
- 23:29Speaker 1: since I was home for the holidays. He keeps making
- 23:32Speaker 1: up excuses for not visiting, and he won't answer my
- 23:35Speaker 1: FaceTime calls. I want to pop up on him, but
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm too far away for that foolishness? Is it bad
- 23:41Speaker 1: if I find a male escort to keep me company?
- 23:43Speaker 1: I have needs? Wow? I don't understand this question at all. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 1: that's she's working from home remotely. I don't understand what
- 23:53Speaker 1: she's saying. Should Well, she she hasn't seen her husband,
- 23:57Speaker 1: she's in London. She's in London, Oh, Canada. Yeah, she
- 24:00Speaker 1: hasn't been home for the holiday. You know, she hasn't
- 24:02Speaker 1: seen her husband since the holidays. Oh, he won't visit
- 24:06Speaker 1: her in London. Oh. And are you asking me that
- 24:10Speaker 1: you need a male escort to keep her company because
- 24:14Speaker 1: she has Well, I don't know what you need, and
- 24:17Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about your need, but I know
- 24:19Speaker 1: he he ain't coming to London and he ain't answering that.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Damn phone one and one is usually two most of
- 24:28Speaker 1: the time. Y'all need to quit trying all this new math. Now.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Some of this stuff is just basic ass a rhythmetic
- 24:36Speaker 1: carrying that one. Yeah, I know they stopped carrying the one,
- 24:39Speaker 1: but y'all need to get her two times two is four.
- 24:44Speaker 1: It's quit trying to make it something else. You ain't
- 24:48Speaker 1: talk to your man since the holidays. It's Marge and
- 24:52Speaker 1: he don't FaceTime or return call girl. It's over daylight
- 25:00Speaker 1: saving times. There's a whole lot of happen man. Hell yeah,
- 25:04Speaker 1: what all right? Moving on to Sabrina in Vegas. Sabrina says,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I live in a town home community and I heard
- 25:13Speaker 1: my neighbor making sex sounds this morning, but his wife
- 25:17Speaker 1: was at work. She had just called me to see
- 25:19Speaker 1: if I wanted to go work out with her later.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I didn't see anyone leave their house, but I saw
- 25:24Speaker 1: a strange car parked on the street. Should I tell
- 25:27Speaker 1: the wife what I heard? Oh? You got nothing to
- 25:31Speaker 1: do with you? Tell tell his wife? What what you're
- 25:36Speaker 1: gonna tell his wife? I heard some sex sounds coming
- 25:39Speaker 1: from your house? Yeah the TV? You mean? Uh huh? Hello?
- 25:45Speaker 1: What else? Good? Seas love? He's so good at he's
- 25:49Speaker 1: so good. I'm just trying to call out what you heard,
- 25:52Speaker 1: or wasn't him and the wife on the phone having
- 25:55Speaker 1: a phone conversation. See, you don't even know. You're just
- 26:00Speaker 1: running your mouth. Take your ass to work out with
- 26:03Speaker 1: the lady and shut up and make your own sounds.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Why don't you get some business at your house? Maybe
- 26:10Speaker 1: that's it sounds coming from your bed room. So now
- 26:15Speaker 1: you're hearing stuff outside. Oh, she's a hater all day. Okay,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you're here to saying, don't kill the messenger. My father
- 26:28Speaker 1: taught me very different. Pay attention to who the messenger is.
- 26:31Speaker 1: So it's the reason they bring it you bad? Okay,
- 26:34Speaker 1: all right, I like that, all right? Moving on, last one, Steve,
- 26:38Speaker 1: Last one. This is a Kimika in East Saint Louis.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Kimika says, I've been living with a man that I
- 26:44Speaker 1: don't love for three years, but the sex is off
- 26:48Speaker 1: the chain and he spoils me. My friends say I'm
- 26:52Speaker 1: crazy to want to leave him, but I think my
- 26:55Speaker 1: soulmate is out there somewhere. Should I risk everything to
- 26:59Speaker 1: find true love? Yeah? You should, that you ain't. One
- 27:05Speaker 1: more time you should, but you ain't. And why it's
- 27:10Speaker 1: been three years? First of all. He's failing you with everything.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And when I say everything, I mean everything. Every time
- 27:17Speaker 1: you think about me. He break out that power drill
- 27:22Speaker 1: that he got, come down the hold deepot ll. He
- 27:28Speaker 1: pull out that power drill that he got in the
- 27:30Speaker 1: home deep rolling, and then and then and then and
- 27:33Speaker 1: then sat down on you with that monkey wrench and
- 27:37Speaker 1: then and then and then go back in there and
- 27:39Speaker 1: get that that roller that you put the water in
- 27:42Speaker 1: and smooth your grass out, that that big landscape water pere.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Then he coming there with that garden holes that do
- 27:50Speaker 1: like this. Uh. He got all the trick. He got
- 27:59Speaker 1: a yard and hoole he got. He got the rake
- 28:06Speaker 1: that moved the rocks. He got everything. He got whill barrow,
- 28:12Speaker 1: he got the sled he got he just in that
- 28:15Speaker 1: doing his yard work. Boy got bolch, he got a
- 28:20Speaker 1: pie watching. He got everything. He coming to He going
- 28:25Speaker 1: to work. Baby, No way you can leave this man.
- 28:30Speaker 1: And he spoils you, and he know how to cook.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Got you laying up in the feeling like cake batter.
- 28:40Speaker 1: You're just getting will Okay, where him going new? Watch?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Where's your ass going? Watch? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, you better
- 28:55Speaker 1: stay there. Thank you. Silo coming up at the top
- 28:58Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you
- 29:00Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show. A Mexican cartel
- 29:08Speaker 1: has taken responsibility and apologized for the kidnapping of four Americans,
- 29:13Speaker 1: two of whom died. The Gulf Cartel says the perpetrators
- 29:16Speaker 1: were acting on their own in violation of cartel rules.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Five men were found tied up near a pickup truck
- 29:24Speaker 1: Thursday morning, and a note was found on its windshield.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Law enforcement sources say the letter is legitimate. The note
- 29:31Speaker 1: says the Gulf Cartel GROUPO strongly condemned the events of Friday,
- 29:37Speaker 1: March third, in which, unfortunately, an innocent working mother died
- 29:41Speaker 1: and four American citizens were kidnapped, of which two died.
- 29:46Speaker 1: For this reason, we have decided to hand over those
- 29:49Speaker 1: involved and directly responsible for the event, who at all
- 29:52Speaker 1: times acted under their own determination and in discipline, and
- 29:58Speaker 1: against the rules in which the cde CDG has already
- 30:03Speaker 1: operated and has always operated. For Americans drove into Mexico
- 30:07Speaker 1: a week ago so one of them could undergo a
- 30:10Speaker 1: cosmetic procedure, which is much cheaper south of the border.
- 30:13Speaker 1: They were abducted by cartel members The two who were
- 30:17Speaker 1: killed were cousins Shade Woodard and Zendel Brown. And this
- 30:23Speaker 1: is just a horrible story right here. It's just horrible. Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I never seen the cartel apologize. Then they turned those guys. Wow. Yeah, well, Steve,
- 30:37Speaker 1: you know you've heard the code that's honored amongst them. Yeah,
- 30:42Speaker 1: there is, oh, there used to be more prevalently though,
- 30:47Speaker 1: a code that criminals live by that like, for example, snitching.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Snitching is a criminal code, only it only applies to criminals.
- 30:58Speaker 1: What is happening is so many nominals have been incarcerated
- 31:01Speaker 1: and come out of jail that they bought that same
- 31:04Speaker 1: principle to the streets. But snitching was if you do
- 31:08Speaker 1: the dirt, if you can't do the time, don't do
- 31:10Speaker 1: the crime. Snitching is once you get busted, that's you.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You gotta eat that, don't drag nobody else into it.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That's what it was for. They made snitching a part
- 31:20Speaker 1: of the hood and the public because so many guys
- 31:22Speaker 1: was getting out and bought that to the streets. So
- 31:25Speaker 1: I respect the honor amongst these. I mean, look, man,
- 31:30Speaker 1: everybody ain't gonna do right. But I think that was
- 31:33Speaker 1: a great gesture for them to do because I mean
- 31:40Speaker 1: they went, hold up, man, what y'all doing? Just say,
- 31:42Speaker 1: what we do? What we're messing with these innocent people
- 31:45Speaker 1: coming down here, mother and all this here, coming down
- 31:47Speaker 1: here to get a search. Where you get this from? Yeah?
- 31:49Speaker 1: Who told now you fit to bring all this heat
- 31:51Speaker 1: on us? Who told you to do that? We do.
- 31:54Speaker 1: We take care of people as in our drug wall. Right. See,
- 31:57Speaker 1: if you're in the game, then then you in the game.
- 32:02Speaker 1: All that mass that's out. So I mean it's not
- 32:05Speaker 1: a great thing. I mean I appreciate gon amongst the thieves. Yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'll do it. Okay, Now let's switch gears to entertainment news.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Hollywood's newest it guy, that would be one Jonathan Majors
- 32:21Speaker 1: is ready to fully embody the role of Dennis Rodman
- 32:24Speaker 1: and the forthcoming biopic um. Last week, news broke that
- 32:28Speaker 1: Majors would be taking on the life and career of
- 32:30Speaker 1: the NBA icon UH. In a sit down with the
- 32:34Speaker 1: Associated Press, Majors confirmed the film was in the works
- 32:37Speaker 1: and says he wants to meet Dennis Rodman to get
- 32:40Speaker 1: to know him and hopes of fully engulfing himself and
- 32:43Speaker 1: all things Rodman to bring the character to life, party
- 32:50Speaker 1: winning for a week, go through it. Yeah, that's the
- 32:53Speaker 1: only way you're gonna play that role right now. I
- 32:55Speaker 1: played one time in Las Vegas. All I needed the king,
- 33:03Speaker 1: partying in Vegas and all that. The film will specifically
- 33:07Speaker 1: focus on the infamous forty eight in Vegas incident, where
- 33:12Speaker 1: Rodman went to Vegas for a midseason break during his
- 33:15Speaker 1: run with the Chicago Bulls. Though for former head coach
- 33:19Speaker 1: Phil Jackson approved, the events of that wild weekend could
- 33:22Speaker 1: not have been predicted by anyone. The two day break
- 33:25Speaker 1: turned into four days of intense partying in the city
- 33:29Speaker 1: with his girlfriend Carmeny Lecture. At the time, Michael Jordan
- 33:32Speaker 1: and Phil Jackson would they had to eventually go down
- 33:36Speaker 1: to Vegas to personally retrieve Rodman. Okay, so here's a question, Tommy,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I gotta ask you. Of course, Steve, But once you're
- 33:46Speaker 1: take on it in junior, do you think Jonathan Majors
- 33:51Speaker 1: can play Dennis Rodman? Oh, definitely, they can definitely do it.
- 33:55Speaker 1: But you're gonna have to go kick it with Dennis
- 33:57Speaker 1: for a good week. You've got to. Yeah, don't do
- 34:01Speaker 1: a little method. We're gonna do a little method. You
- 34:03Speaker 1: got to go down here and get this. Steve Yes,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I just want to make sure I know who Jonathan
- 34:12Speaker 1: Majors is. This is the dude and Creed Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 1: What I mean, you know, are you hating because his
- 34:25Speaker 1: body is perfect? What is going on? I mean, no,
- 34:29Speaker 1: that don't bother me at all. There's a lot of
- 34:31Speaker 1: people out there with grade six packs. You know. You
- 34:34Speaker 1: know that bothers you that don't really bother me at all.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I mean, you know, seem like a bather. You molding me.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You know, well, I cannot lie when I've been called out.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Well you know what I'm saying, So I like to
- 34:47Speaker 1: bother you molding bother me. I'm saying, you know, at
- 34:50Speaker 1: least you know it is what it is. Bothersome because
- 34:56Speaker 1: that I don't really I don't know. I don't think
- 34:59Speaker 1: he can play. You don't know enough about him. I
- 35:02Speaker 1: just don't. I don't think it's a good movie. Oh oh,
- 35:07Speaker 1: you just the Dennis Robins story. It's gonna it's gonna
- 35:11Speaker 1: take six months to get all these tattoos, tattoos and piercing.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It's gonna take a while to get all that on
- 35:16Speaker 1: his body. Do that, but Tommy, But Dennis Romans sixteen.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we missed up right now. I don't really know.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Both of them have a kind of a rugged look
- 35:33Speaker 1: at might at might work, coming up at his ass
- 35:41Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll talk
- 35:44Speaker 1: about TV sitcom moments. Right after this you're listening. Oh,
- 35:52Speaker 1: you know, we love a comedian, Miss Pat. She's been
- 35:54Speaker 1: a special guest on our show. H we'll get ready
- 35:57Speaker 1: for season three. It's coming up season three of the
- 36:00Speaker 1: Miss Patch Show on b ET Plus. We all know, yeah,
- 36:05Speaker 1: we all know this show. Yeah, it's real, it's very raw.
- 36:08Speaker 1: We know that. And the legend herself, ninety one year
- 36:12Speaker 1: old Marla Gibbs, will be a special guest on one
- 36:15Speaker 1: of the upcoming episodes. In a recent interview with Variety TV,
- 36:19Speaker 1: the showrunner for The Miss Patch Show said, Marla Gibbs
- 36:23Speaker 1: agreed to say anything because you know, they do a
- 36:26Speaker 1: lot of cussing on that show a lot. So Miss
- 36:31Speaker 1: Marla Gibbs said, you know, she'll say anything, but she
- 36:34Speaker 1: would not call black women bees. All right, take a
- 36:39Speaker 1: listen to an upcoming scene with Miss Marla Gibbs. Did
- 36:42Speaker 1: you see what she just did? Do I look like
- 36:45Speaker 1: I give a. I wasn't ready for Laurence, no at all.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I saw that Clah, that was funny, man, I said,
- 37:02Speaker 1: she just looked her dead, And I said, what what
- 37:06Speaker 1: is this? Look at me? Look? So see, if here's
- 37:13Speaker 1: a question for you, you you were star of your
- 37:15Speaker 1: own hit show, the sitcom. You know you were a
- 37:19Speaker 1: star of that. And how has comedy changed? How have
- 37:22Speaker 1: sitcoms changed from back in the day. There not as
- 37:25Speaker 1: big as they used to be, and sitcoms used to
- 37:30Speaker 1: mostly be about relationship and family those have it seems
- 37:34Speaker 1: to have changed. Even Martin, one of the iconic sitcoms
- 37:39Speaker 1: for us culturally was about a relationship. And he talks
- 37:43Speaker 1: about a relationship, and you know, even today when he
- 37:47Speaker 1: describes the show, it was really about a relationship between
- 37:50Speaker 1: him and Gina, right, and then all the other side
- 37:54Speaker 1: pieces played into that sitcoms. Now it was Causby's showed,
- 37:58Speaker 1: it was my wife and kids, it was me and
- 38:00Speaker 1: the boys, it was you know, even if Steve Harvey
- 38:03Speaker 1: show was a relationship between me and said roommates, and
- 38:07Speaker 1: and then Regina. The principle that I wanted so deeply,
- 38:13Speaker 1: you know, okay, okay, talk about you would say it
- 38:16Speaker 1: could have been cussing back then. Goodness, I'll tell you
- 38:20Speaker 1: the show that I wanted to do. What said was
- 38:22Speaker 1: like a remake of The Odd Couple. Oh yeah. It
- 38:27Speaker 1: just seems like in this woke era you can't say things. Yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: and it's just the workload, it's not okay. And then
- 38:37Speaker 1: staying on TV is hard. Like what Timmy's accomplished one
- 38:39Speaker 1: hundred episodes. That's really hard, man. I don't think people
- 38:43Speaker 1: understand the really the milestone that is. That's that's incredibly difficult,
- 38:49Speaker 1: very very few two percent of the show has ever
- 38:52Speaker 1: become one hundred episodes. If that you, I'm grateful boy.
- 39:01Speaker 1: All right, coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:04Speaker 1: we'll check your voicemail Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 39:14Speaker 1: it is time now to check Steve's voicemail. If you'd
- 39:16Speaker 1: like to leave a message for Steve, call him eight
- 39:19Speaker 1: seven seven twenty ninth Steve eight seven seven twenty ninth, Steve,
- 39:22Speaker 1: you might just hear your call on the air now, Steve.
- 39:25Speaker 1: This is a twenty seven year old woman named Courtney.
- 39:27Speaker 1: She has a relationship question for you, how are you doing? Steve?
- 39:31Speaker 1: My man is Courtney. I'm a twenty seven year old
- 39:34Speaker 1: married woman. I have a one four year old daughter,
- 39:38Speaker 1: and me and my husband have been together seven years
- 39:41Speaker 1: and married for four years. Recently, my husband has been
- 39:45Speaker 1: acting different. He has been really trying to get on
- 39:48Speaker 1: his content creation and just getting into social media a
- 39:53Speaker 1: lot more, getting into such a lot more. And I've
- 39:56Speaker 1: been a little torn because I feel like, you know,
- 39:58Speaker 1: he told me twent of times he wants to do
- 40:01Speaker 1: fifty fifty. He doesn't want to wind in diy me.
- 40:04Speaker 1: He doesn't expect to have to do much more than
- 40:08Speaker 1: he already is. And to me, you know, I pay
- 40:12Speaker 1: most of my bills. I take care of our daughter.
- 40:15Speaker 1: I picked her up from school, dropper off at school,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and all I ask from him, Seeds is just a
- 40:20Speaker 1: little bit of quality of time, of intimacy and connection.
- 40:24Speaker 1: And I'm slowly but surely started to fall out of
- 40:27Speaker 1: love with him. So my question to you is, how
- 40:31Speaker 1: do I know when it's time to walk away from
- 40:33Speaker 1: a marriage? And how do I know when I should
- 40:36Speaker 1: keep fighting? My husband isn't I'm a horrible guy. He
- 40:39Speaker 1: loved me, but the way he treats me doesn't show
- 40:43Speaker 1: that he's in love with me. He always wants to space,
- 40:45Speaker 1: he always wants to do his own thing, and whenever
- 40:49Speaker 1: we around each other, it's like walking on eggshells. As
- 40:52Speaker 1: a tension is awkward. But he always tells me that
- 40:55Speaker 1: he wants to be with me and he loved me.
- 40:56Speaker 1: But she's actually so differently. Show Again, the question I
- 40:59Speaker 1: was asked is how do I know when it's time
- 41:01Speaker 1: to walk away from a relationship that is no longer
- 41:04Speaker 1: serving me. I hope this ends up on the radio,
- 41:06Speaker 1: and thank you again for all your advice, and I
- 41:09Speaker 1: hope you have a great game. Well, she is on
- 41:12Speaker 1: the radio, and so I'm gonna be careful with how
- 41:15Speaker 1: I say this to you. First of all, if I
- 41:20Speaker 1: were you, I would exhaust all of my attempts at communicating.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I would sit down with him. I would ask him
- 41:30Speaker 1: to attend some type of marriage counseling with me. I
- 41:34Speaker 1: think it's worth that at least that after you've done that,
- 41:41Speaker 1: if there's no improvement, once you start questioning your marriage
- 41:49Speaker 1: over and over and over and the questions keep coming up,
- 41:53Speaker 1: then at one point in time, the two of you
- 41:55Speaker 1: have to think, are we who we were seven years ago?
- 42:00Speaker 1: The answers obviously no. But I would make some attempt
- 42:04Speaker 1: at therapy, marriage counseling to see what you can get,
- 42:08Speaker 1: because if he's saying one thing but he's doing something else,
- 42:11Speaker 1: he's taking the focus away from you all and he's
- 42:13Speaker 1: putting it on himself. I don't understand. I want everything
- 42:18Speaker 1: fifty fifty. I don't know what man thinks that you
- 42:21Speaker 1: getting married and it's fifty fifty. I don't. I don't
- 42:24Speaker 1: know how you think that is. It's not. And the
- 42:27Speaker 1: reason it can't be fifty fifty is because you don't
- 42:31Speaker 1: have stake in the family. Dude, that's the problem. When
- 42:38Speaker 1: a woman has your child, that's bigger than anything else
- 42:45Speaker 1: you could ever do. The least you can do is
- 42:48Speaker 1: take care of them. That's the least dog. I'm sorry, man,
- 42:53Speaker 1: that's the way I was raised, That's where I was taught.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Now you can call that old fashioned if you want to,
- 42:58Speaker 1: but that's really the requirement because seeing it's how you
- 43:01Speaker 1: can't make a baby. Your job is to protect and
- 43:05Speaker 1: provide for that family. That's your job. Provision is huge.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I'm fifty fifty and here are you talking about you
- 43:13Speaker 1: weren't that baby? Huh right, Dog? You was really dog?
- 43:20Speaker 1: He was about He's about five percent that he was
- 43:26Speaker 1: about five percent on the making of it. Now, that
- 43:30Speaker 1: was because I could see her wanting to make it
- 43:33Speaker 1: work and hang on, but she's also feeling to disconnect
- 43:39Speaker 1: and you know you could hear it. Yeah, I hope
- 43:42Speaker 1: that helps you good. Yeah, yeah, I don't know about
- 43:48Speaker 1: want to live like that? No, no, all right, thanks
- 43:51Speaker 1: for your calls. Coming up next, we'll hear from the
- 43:54Speaker 1: nephew with today's prank phone call right after this you're
- 43:58Speaker 1: listening morning show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:03Speaker 1: right about four minutes after, it's time for my Strawberry
- 44:06Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject is the cheater accused me
- 44:10Speaker 1: of cheating. I'm sad what me of cheating? Yeah, we'll
- 44:17Speaker 1: get into it in just a bit, because right now,
- 44:19Speaker 1: but it's time for you, nephew to give us today's
- 44:22Speaker 1: prank phone call. What you got for us. I'm gonna
- 44:25Speaker 1: be as stupid as I can. Okay, I'm gonna be
- 44:28Speaker 1: as stupid as I can, going into the stupid roller decks,
- 44:34Speaker 1: trying to figure out what stupid I want to be.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Hold on here, they all there. Yeah, but you know,
- 44:43Speaker 1: but it's degrees of it though, you know, it's degrees
- 44:46Speaker 1: of it, So you gotta figure out which you know. Well,
- 44:48Speaker 1: we only know one. So this is okay, here we go.
- 44:54Speaker 1: This is a high profile stupid right here. Calvin don
- 44:57Speaker 1: lost his mind. Calvin done the laws. He is man,
- 45:02Speaker 1: call dog if you would Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 45:07Speaker 1: reach a bree Please. This is hi breed. This is
- 45:11Speaker 1: offers from the Dallas Police Department. Okay, I wanted to
- 45:16Speaker 1: give you a call. Man. We have your husband, mister Calvin.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Is there any way you can actually come down to
- 45:23Speaker 1: the police station today? Calvin? Is he Calvin? Okay, we
- 45:33Speaker 1: have Calvin. He's been picked up for a Class C
- 45:36Speaker 1: mister demeanor, and I wanted to see if you're able
- 45:40Speaker 1: to pick him up. We're not going to press charges.

- 45:44Speaker 1: needs to be paid, but well, I'm giving you a call.
- 45:47Speaker 1: He asked me to call his wife to see if
- 45:48Speaker 1: you would actually come and pick him up. So it's
- 45:51Speaker 1: a two hundred and fifty dollars fine. Yes, we do
- 45:56Speaker 1: need two hundred and fifty dollar to five. Oh lord,
- 45:59Speaker 1: because I don't find heaven. I'm not to call his
- 46:01Speaker 1: mom and get it. What is he there for? Uh?
- 46:04Speaker 1: He was in decent exposure, ma'am. He was in a park.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Are you familiar with Lakeside Park? Yeah? Okay, he was
- 46:12Speaker 1: out at Lakeside Park and he was in decent exposure.
- 46:15Speaker 1: He had no clothes on. He was with another person,
- 46:19Speaker 1: another female, out there, and they had no clothes on.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Wait a minute, hole, the hell of you. You had
- 46:26Speaker 1: make a big mistake because Calvin supposed to work. That's
- 46:29Speaker 1: what hell. Calvin's supposed to be park. So you saying
- 46:34Speaker 1: that you saw him, it's not a detective. That was
- 46:39Speaker 1: actually a police officer man that actually brought them in.
- 46:42Speaker 1: They're both were brought in here, um about two hours ago.
- 46:46Speaker 1: He's been processed. He has been processed, but we need
- 46:50Speaker 1: somebody to actually come pick him up. Now take this
- 46:52Speaker 1: get okay, Well, tell me what are the tool of
- 46:55Speaker 1: the females? What's the female name to him? She has
- 46:59Speaker 1: been arrested. She's actually on the other side of the jail.
- 47:02Speaker 1: She's on the woman's welling side. Okay, can get that name.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I do not have her name in front of me.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I will be able to have that a little later
- 47:09Speaker 1: or um, but right now I think more importantly he's
- 47:12Speaker 1: he's actually sitting in a holding tank with with no
- 47:15Speaker 1: clothes on. So I wait a minute, I mean Calvin
- 47:17Speaker 1: that lost his gut nine, I'm not coming to pick
- 47:21Speaker 1: him up on. Let me carry you what you need
- 47:24Speaker 1: to be killing Calvin. You need to tell Calvin that
- 47:27Speaker 1: he need to come up with two hundred and fifty
- 47:29Speaker 1: dollars to get his coming. You just gotta sit over here,
- 47:31Speaker 1: and then you need to come up with some more
- 47:33Speaker 1: money to take for this divorce because I'm handing him
- 47:36Speaker 1: taker and you telling him yea, yeah, I'll do us all.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna call Mama and she can come get this.

- 53:40Speaker 1: for you here. It is strong Verry letter, Thank you
- 53:42Speaker 1: enough for you. Subject the cheater accused me of cheating.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I have been married
- 53:48Speaker 1: for nineteen years and he has cheated on me multiple times.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Three years ago, he had a very messy affair, and
- 53:55Speaker 1: I told him I was done and I was filing
- 53:58Speaker 1: for a divorce. He threw a big party and surprised
- 54:01Speaker 1: me with the public apology, and he asked for my forgiveness.
- 54:05Speaker 1: I decided that I'd give him one more chance. I
- 54:09Speaker 1: had become really close friends with a male co worker
- 54:12Speaker 1: that I confided in. We were just friends, but I
- 54:15Speaker 1: cut him off after I decided to give my marriage
- 54:18Speaker 1: another chance. My husband knew about my coworker and never
- 54:22Speaker 1: suspected that we were more than friends. Our marriage changed
- 54:26Speaker 1: for the better, and we were back to having great
- 54:28Speaker 1: sex and he was spending lots more time with me.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Then I started having problems with my lady parts. I
- 54:35Speaker 1: went to the doctor and found out I had a
- 54:37Speaker 1: rash that looked like an STI a sexually transmitted infection,
- 54:44Speaker 1: but the tests were inconclusive. Because of his past unfaithfulness,
- 54:49Speaker 1: I went home and accused my husband of having an
- 54:52Speaker 1: affair and giving me an infection. My husband didn't flinch.
- 54:56Speaker 1: All he said was that he would get tested in
- 54:59Speaker 1: the morning. I told him he'd better not try to
- 55:02Speaker 1: get in our bed that night. The next day, he
- 55:05Speaker 1: came home from work and he threw his negative test
- 55:09Speaker 1: results at me. Then he lectured me on how he changed,
- 55:13Speaker 1: but I did not believe in him. He accused me
- 55:16Speaker 1: of messing around with my male coworker and getting whatever
- 55:20Speaker 1: I had from him. My doctor ended up calling me
- 55:23Speaker 1: to explain that I could be allergic to my soap
- 55:27Speaker 1: or have a hormonal imbalance, but it was not an STI.
- 55:34Speaker 1: My husband isn't buying it and thinks the doctor is
- 55:36Speaker 1: part of my life. He thinks I'm a cheater. Now,
- 55:40Speaker 1: how do I prove to my husband that it's just
- 55:42Speaker 1: a misunderstanding. I don't know if you're going to be
- 55:45Speaker 1: able to prove any of this to your husband. Your
- 55:48Speaker 1: husband does suspect something between you and your co worker.
- 55:52Speaker 1: He just didn't say anything because he was cheating himself.
- 55:55Speaker 1: So I'd just say, please, don't get caught up in
- 55:58Speaker 1: your husband's crazy mess. He's accused you because he was guilty.
- 56:02Speaker 1: He knows how this goes. Now you try to get
- 56:05Speaker 1: slick with it. You really did. You didn't come right
- 56:07Speaker 1: out and tell Steve and I that you and your
- 56:10Speaker 1: co worker, your so called co worker, this close co worker,
- 56:13Speaker 1: had slept together. You didn't tell us that, you said
- 56:16Speaker 1: you were just friends at first, then you said you
- 56:19Speaker 1: were more than friends, but you cut him off. If
- 56:22Speaker 1: you guys weren't doing anything, what would be the need
- 56:24Speaker 1: to cut him off. You cut him off from the
- 56:26Speaker 1: affair that you didn't tell us about. You stopped so
- 56:29Speaker 1: that you could focus on your marriage. Now that's a
- 56:31Speaker 1: good thing, okay, But there's a lot of stuff going
- 56:35Speaker 1: on in this letter that's unsaid. But we know what's
- 56:39Speaker 1: going on. Your marriage got back on track. You did
- 56:42Speaker 1: start having personal health issues and it was thought to
- 56:45Speaker 1: be an STI at first, sexually transmitted infection. What a
- 56:52Speaker 1: break for your husband to think it was you initially,
- 56:54Speaker 1: But when your test came back, you had no STI.
- 56:57Speaker 1: So what is your husband talking about now? Your doctor
- 57:00Speaker 1: can't be part of a lie. That's completely unethical. I
- 57:04Speaker 1: think your husband is just trying to get some of
- 57:06Speaker 1: the pressure off him because he's cheated in the past
- 57:09Speaker 1: and he had such a bad reputation. You know, if
- 57:12Speaker 1: you didn't have an STI, you have proof, and you
- 57:16Speaker 1: know if you wouldn't keep taking him back after he cheats,
- 57:20Speaker 1: then you know he would stop doing it, or you know,
- 57:22Speaker 1: you guys would break up or whatever. But yeah, I
- 57:25Speaker 1: think he's trying to get some of the pressure off
- 57:27Speaker 1: him by accusing you. Steve. Obviously you don't know how
- 57:31Speaker 1: to do this, And this is matter because y'all keep
- 57:33Speaker 1: on going about these men the wrong way. You've been
- 57:38Speaker 1: married nineteen years, a man that's had several affairs on you.
- 57:41Speaker 1: The last fan was really messy. You file for divorce.
- 57:45Speaker 1: He threw your big surprise party with a public apology,
- 57:48Speaker 1: ask for your forget it. You decide I'd give him
- 57:53Speaker 1: one more chase. Then you said you'd become really close
- 57:57Speaker 1: with the mail co worker that I confided and we
- 58:00Speaker 1: were just friends. But I cut him off after I
- 58:03Speaker 1: decided to give my marriage another chance. When you said
- 58:07Speaker 1: that line right there, I knew right away how close
- 58:10Speaker 1: you and this male co worker had got. What all
- 58:13Speaker 1: this couldfide? Because I decided to cut him off. Oh,
- 58:17Speaker 1: you stopped talking to him, You stopped confiding in him.
- 58:23Speaker 1: That's what you cut on. My husband knew about my
- 58:28Speaker 1: coworker and never suspected that we were more than friend.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Of course he didn't. Women are better cheaters. The cheater
- 58:38Speaker 1: accused me of cheating. He was right, he was spot
- 58:42Speaker 1: on the right. Very rarely did we get to bush y'all.
- 58:45Speaker 1: But when we do, we'd be right. A man changed
- 58:50Speaker 1: for the better. We're back to having great sex than
- 58:52Speaker 1: the time with me. I started having problems with my
- 58:55Speaker 1: lady parts. I went to the doctor and found out
- 58:57Speaker 1: I had a rash that looked like a STI. I
- 59:00Speaker 1: do not know what STI is, surely said, a sexually
- 59:05Speaker 1: transmitted affection. I've only known them STDs, which back in
- 59:12Speaker 1: my day was called VD. We didn't have no or
- 59:17Speaker 1: the name for it. But now, well, well listening this
- 59:23Speaker 1: sexually transmitted infection sexually transmitted disease, commonly known as VD.
- 59:32Speaker 1: You went to the clinic for VD. You sat there
- 59:37Speaker 1: in that room, nervous and sweating with everybody else. Everybody
- 59:42Speaker 1: in there has something, all right, hang on trying to
- 59:47Speaker 1: get past this, but listen to no confidentiality. Down after clinic,
- 59:55Speaker 1: on the computer, you had to feel out this index car.
- 59:57Speaker 1: You had to write what you had on after the hour,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Today's Joe's symptoms out the cheater accused me of cheating.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: The subject is the cheater accused me of cheating. This
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: lady has been married nineteen years. Husband had several affairs
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: on the last ones pretty messy. She says. She's follows
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: of the divorce. He's surprised her in through a big party,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry party and publicly apologized. She decided to give
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: him another chance. Uh uh. I decided to give him
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: one more chance. She had become close with this male
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: co worker that she confided in and um after um
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: that she confide in. She says they were just friends,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: but after they decided to give their marriage another chance,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: she cut him off. You wouldn't have to cut him off, y'all.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Was just friends, so you was doing him. My husband
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: knew about my coworker, but never suspected that we were
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: more than friends, which is another admission that you were
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: doing him. I married Shane for the better. We were
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: back to having great sas spending time with me, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: then the ladies said, I started having problems with my
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: lady parts. That's very personal. So we don't get into
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: that on this show because that could be any range
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: of things. And I know you're not supposed to ask
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: no woman what they went to the hospital for, but
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: They always asked you what you go from me, But
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you're not supposed to ask a woman because they would
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: say it was some female problems and end. Your ass
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: is supposed to shut up immediately, don't keep digging deep
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: into this. Why you in there, because you're not fitting
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: to understand this right here. And so as she started
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: having trouble with her lady parts, which we will leave alone,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I went to the doctor and found out that I
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: had a rash that looked like an ST and the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: test were inclusive. Now I didn't know what the STI
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: was until I heard Sherley's response, which is sexually transmitted infection.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I only knew STD, which was a sexually transmitted disease.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: And prior to this radio show, it was called VD.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: That's just that's what you got is VD. Shut it up,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: and I'm gonna just tell you right now, it was
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: very different. That's why they had they called it STD
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: when they came out with computers. Before computers, it was
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: just VD. You went down to the clinic and you
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: feel out the form and nothing was on computer, and
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: the lady if you didn't fill out the form right,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: she would holler at you out there in the waiting
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: room to get clarity on the blocks that you checked
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: or did not check. Mister Harvey is Darren Burden. No, man, okay,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: you didn't check that block. That's because I'm not Who
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: is Linny Cage? That's me too, man. Stop, I'm in
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: here with a couple of concerns names. I'm using two names.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get seen you right now. Told
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: me and because I had a rash. Now because of
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: his past and all these are fans, I thought he
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: gave me the infection. I told my husband, you don't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: had these fans. You didn't gave me infection. He didn't flinch.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: All he said was he get tested in the morning.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I told him better now I try to get in
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: how bad that night? The next day he came home
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: work and through his negative tests at me here and
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: now there you go. I ain't got nothing. Then he
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: lectured me on how he's changed, but I didn't believe him.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: He I am changing a better man. We have a
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: great sex now. I spend time with you, and then
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you're gonna get yourself a little STI and then you're
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: gonna mess around and say it's me when it ain't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: meet and now you know what I think it is.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I think it's you and that little punk ass dude down,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: your little coworker you've been talking to. Maybe you've been
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: having sex with him and you got it from him,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: and now you're trying to blame me. He was right
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: dog gone. It's a letter. Listen to me. Your husband
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: was right to accuse you because if he knew he
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: didn't have nothing and you got an STI, then it
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: must be wait a minute, from the little punk ass
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: dude that worked, but then he so he was right
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: jamming you up like that. Then your doctor ended up
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: calling you to explain that that could be allergic to
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: my soul or have a hormonal and balance. See women
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: have too many ounts. It's just it's your harmony and balance.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: See a man coming to the house with an STI.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: It ain't nothing else. You You did something with your
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: little nasty behind. But no woman couldn't come in here
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: talking about her damn soap, her damn hormones and all
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: this hill fellas a'most start a new thing. Well, isn't
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: that good news? But what's their problems? It's great news,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: it's great news, but your husband ain't buying it, and
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: he thinks the doctors a part of my life. Oh
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: my god, he thinks I'm a cheater. Now the question
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: is how do I prove to my husband that it's
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: just misunderstanding. Lady, you're tripping. Reverse this. This is what
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: ladies said. This the lesson I'm gonna teach Lady, reverse it.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Oh look at the podcalling and cattle block. Then I
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: want you to start crying. All I've done for you.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I'm taking you back time and time and come and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: gown again. Bring up the path that ever what I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: buying out about me? When you was basking with Tammelina.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I told you, Tameline, you come on Tammelina franchise. Get
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: aren't the franchise will see you know what? I can
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: go down all of the list of women he's been
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: with every time he bring it up with versit on him.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: That's right. Post your comments on today's Strawberry letters. Thank
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: god for computers on and Facebook. All the people are
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: digging and talk. Right after this, you're listening to morning show.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk. K Junior,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Good morning, what you got? Okay, sir? Here we go.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Coca Cola has pulled Memphis really start John Moran's ads
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: for power aid as he remains away from the team.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Joh has been a wave or suspended from the team,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: the Memphis Grizzlies since he posted a video of him
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: holding a gun in a strip club in Colorado, so
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: he will not have those ads running no more. And also, man, uncle,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: his whole thing. Man is like with his father. Man,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: do you do you feel like his dad is trying
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to be a friend. His father seems to be enjoyed
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the success of it all. I mean, that's our job
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: is to be parents. You know. Look, you gotta understand
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: something about whether in the movie, TV business or then athletics,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: these guys have been coddled the majority of their life. Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: a lot of a man and have been allowed to
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: do like they want to because they showed so much promise.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Then when they turned into these hundred million dollar guys,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: these brands, they got another level of freedom. That are
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: some great examples of how it didn't Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neill,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Michael Jordan Lebron, James Steph Curry. It's I could go
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: on and on and on. Vince Carter or Dominique Wilkers
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: that our prime time down. Some guys who came through
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: this thing. Now now they didn't come through mistake free. Now,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: they did not come through mistake free, but they managed
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: to pull it off. J'ah is young, he's making mistakes.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: He's gonna have to learn from this. He's he could
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: have been great, but they will not allow him to
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: be the face of the NBA. That's not twenty three
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: with all of this money on. Yeah, you gotta have
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: a good person to guide you. And Daddy want to
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: kick it, so yeah, it don't work. Kick it. What
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: y'all doing to night? What y'all doing I'm coming to
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: don't get I want to make sure I'm your plus
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: one boy. I'm with you, boy. Yeah, yeah, I can't
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: had that. Man, can't had that. But also, man, the
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: tournament starts tomorrow. March Madness starts tomorrow. The number one
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: seeds for the tournament come on you of h University
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: of Houston, number one Kansas perdue in Alabama. Man, we
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: gotta put these bets in up. Who you going with? Up?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I haven't even man. I tried to find the bracket
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: this weekend, couldn't find it. Nowhere man, We'll send it
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: in a bracket. I'm gonna see you the bracket beat
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: dog man. But I've got to go with you a bag.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: That's where I'm going. You brother, you let it go
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: back here. We don't play my jam, Come on down.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: We gotta get this thing go. No. Kansas look good,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Kansas look real good. Okay, all right? You so wish
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: you washing comic. Hey dog, Hey dog, Ain't neither one
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: of them gonna make you, don't think so ah man
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: that march man. It's gonna be different. I'm gonna look
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: at the brackets. I'm gonna tell you're gonna shock everybody. Okay,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: cool up, We're gonna do the marrow. Kansas and you
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: abate they're gonna be in the final folks. Trust all right, Junior,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: a woman on social media needs some advice Steve from
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you right after this you're listening show, all right, So
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Steve Tracy on Steve Harvey f M Rights. My closest
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: friend is always upbeat, and even though she does and
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: have skills or accomplishments that I have, she seems to
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: have everything going great for her. All of the time.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I try not to show it around her, but it
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: burns me up. How lucky she seems. I wish I
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: could have a fraction of her good luck, but everything
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: always seems to go badly for me. How do I
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: get rid of these jealous feelings and learn to be
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: more like her? No, you just said it. You've spoken
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: into existence, your existence, and she speaks into her existence,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: her existence. She's lucky. It burns you up. Everything always
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: goes her way, nothing goes my way. You're claiming this?
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Read it again, Shirley Tracy writes, My closest friend is
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: always upbeat, ma'am right there, always upbeat, optimistic, hope, very positive.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: So guess where she's going to attract? Upbeat, optimistic, positive result?
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Go ahead of you, all right? And even though she
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: doesn't have the skills or accomplishments that I have, Stop
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: right there. How do you know that you're so busy
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: trying to compare. She don't need to have your skill set.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: That ain't her walk, that's not her line of that's
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: not her gilt. Go ahead, Shirley. She seems to have
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: everything go great for her all the time because she's upbeat,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: optimistic and has a positive attitude. Go ahead, Shirley. I
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: try not to show it around her, but it burns
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: me up. How lucky she seems. First of all, you're
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: a hater, and luck is how other people describe other
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: people's success. Everybody, when you want to find out if
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: you're lucky, let somebody else describe your success. You don't
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: look at yourself as lucky. But let me give you
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: the definition of luck. Luck. It's what hard work but
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: up into opportunity. Then people call it luck. Go ahead, Shirley.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I wish I could have a fraction of her good luck.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: You could if you were more upbeat, positive and a
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: more congenial person. But you're a negative hater. Or here, Shirley,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: but everything always seemed to go badly for me, everything
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: will go badly for you. Because the Bible says a
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: man is as he thinking, we have thought ourselves exactly
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to where we are today. You have no one to
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: blame but yourself. Go ahead, Shirley, All right, how do
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I get rid of these jealous feelings and learn to
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: be more like her? Hello? John, won't you just do
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: like that? Stop being jealous, stop being a hater, and
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: be more like her? Be more upbeat, positive and congenial,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: and you would be surprised what you would be able
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: to attract. But you're so busy comparing yourself to her,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: telling about what she ain't. Clearly, she don't have to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: be what you are because she's doing it at her way.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: He's positive enough, Bee, Stop being a hater. Next question.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: That's it. Next question, all right, if we have time
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: for one more. This one says, Hey, Steve, I'm one
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: of your blue eyed female listeners and I need your
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: help with this problem. I walked into my twelve year
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: old son's room the other day and he never heard
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: me coming. It might be because he was concentrating on
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: looking through his blinds. I called his name and he jumped,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: looking guilty. So naturally I took a look at what
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: had his attention. It was our neighbor and she was
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: getting her wreck some sun, if you get my meanings.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Later that day I ran into her outside and politely
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: mentioned that there were kids here, and please consider that
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: the next time she's sunbathed topless. Instead of the apology
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I was hoping for, she flat out told me her yard,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: her choice, and the next day the same thing. It is,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I'm not a longer. Do I call the cops? Can
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I call the cops? That's my next move here. No,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now. You could call whoever you
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: want to call. Your boy just don't want you to
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: call him no more? What is you in here? Fault
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: twelve years old? You could call the console you over,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: she and her y'all, Karen, get out your window. The
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: boy the boy needed. Let the boy grow up column.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: twenty minutes after me, right after him. You're listening Harvey
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right. So the other day it was
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: employee Appreciation Day, and according to a recent study, the
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: majority of American workers say gestures of appreciation are in
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: very short supply. The study found that sixty seven percent
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: of employeed Americans say they feel undervalued at work and
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: don't feel appreciated. So this question is for you, Tommy.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: What could your employer aka your uncle do you to
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: make you feel more valued? It's just so much and
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: he doesn't and everybody knows it. Um, you know, let's
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: start with, you know, one day off a week like Friday,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: only you know, and I worked two and when the
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: third he could also give me a star on the
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Walk of Fame. He could get that for me. It's
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: just a certain appreciation that he could do that he
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: does not do. I mean I could. Why can't my
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: star be right next to his store that's on the
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Walk Pame, Hollywood Walk of Fame. I don't understand that
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: that could be done. There's a lot of things that
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: he could do to show him appreciate you. Realize the pain,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: the pay could be double, really to be double. Yeah,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: realized just about off on Monday though you are off yesterday. Yeah,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: especially if you have weekend. You are because I was
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: appreciating myself. That's what I mean. What do you if
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: he's not going to appreciate me, I'm not gonna let
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: that stut. I'm going to appreciate myself. Why would I?
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Why would I do that? Work? All right? Coming up
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play another
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Right after this? I think
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: got some appreciation back after this. You're listening to Harvey
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Morning Show. It is time now for another round of
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: would you rather? Would you rather have loud neighbors or
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: nosy neighbors? M m hey he loud names, Yeah, loud yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: get some start. I got to get some sleep now.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: I don't want to I'm fighting. You could be nosed.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: I ain't got nothing for you to look at, no way,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: so I really take the nosy. Maybe nothing for you
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: to see you like loud? Huh yeah, my stars, I'm
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: over here, That's what I'm saying. Well, it don't matter me.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: You can be a all. Be my house so far
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: away from your you can't see over here. You can't
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: see over and I can't hear you. I might already
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: have no. I don't give a damn what you do.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: You better be rich up in here. Guys, women the trees.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: If you see my house, good luck. This is true.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: It's true. Would you rather get all of your wisdom
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: teeth pulled out at one time? Or would you rather
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: get your butt cheeks pierced all my wisdom teeth took
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: out at once too? Yeah, okay, I'm not piercing my butt. No,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: I'm not going that. I had a pimple on it
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: one time last. It was hard to sit down on
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: that thing right there. It felt like a piercing. Man.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I don't know what it was, the pimple, but I
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: thought it was a ball. I don't know what I thought.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: It was a damn. I didn't know what had happened.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: What is this my ass right now? It started as
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: a pimple, but it ended up as a big tope. Yeah,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I go back down this free clinic. See what they see?
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Didn't get the kid on the left? Man, I'm back
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: down here again. You died here again, nest yesterday? Oh man,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: he was a busy young man. This damn man, I
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: got another problem, all right, So wisdom teeth it is
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: for you, Steve. Okay, would you rather would you rather
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: um outlive your partner? Would you rather have your partner
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: outlive you? Oh? Yeah, I want Oh I can't live
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: without it. I ain't no where in the world but many.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: But you're gonna leave her alone though? Hey, money is
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: she gonna have? Fine? That's today rounded Would you rather
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: coming up next? We'll close out the show with our
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: last break of the day, and nephew, I think, um,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: your uncle has some words for you right after this.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I hope you're going to appreciate me. You're listening all
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: right here? We are, guys, our last break of the
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. It's been a good day. Um,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: Tommy's back from being off yesterday. And we told you yesterday,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: why didn't you come to work any saying nothing, We
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: didn't know where you were. Yeah, it wasn't here. It
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: was employee appreciation Day. But we are employees and we
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: were here. So because y'all don't appreciate y'allselves, Oh you
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: were off because you were appreciating yourself appreciate. Let me
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: respond to his complaints he had. First of all, he
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: only wants to work a full day work week, Yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: which he does anyway. Yeah, so that ain't got nothing
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: to do with me. You will call in most mondays
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: and then you always got a hard out, but you
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: just in case people missed it. What what is Tommy
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: talking about? Well, well i'll tell you go ahead. Yeah,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: it was employee appreciation Day the other day. And according
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: to a recent study, most Americans say they don't feel
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: appreciated at work. Um, you know, appreciation gestures are just
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: in very short supply. Sixty seven percent of employeed Americans
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: say they feel under value at work and they don't
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: feel appreciate. Well, and that's cool, And so Tommy went
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: on to talk about how he wants a full day
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: work week. Well, apploy your appreciation day. We would appreciate
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: it if you would come in every day. Yeah, you
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: didn't come in. Appreciate hard to appreciate a person that
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: ain't him. So even if they have employee you appreciation day,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: your aunts probably ain't gonna be him. The second thing
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you said was you won't double pay. You want to
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: double your pay. That's why would I give you double
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: your pay for less than the time ain't here when
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you're supposed to be here. Thirdly, you want a star
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: on the Walk of Fame that ain't got nothing to
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: do with me that those are not giving out to
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: good employees. And if they was, you'll never get So
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: how you getting start? You gotta be exceptional? Well, no,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: you just gotta be. It's a it's a process. And
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: he getting there. Huh. You know he'll eventually get on.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: But how all are you right now? Tommy? Oh? Yeah,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: about another ten years? That long that long man just
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: on my driveway to here. With that long you just
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: got the hundred episodes You mean that long? I got
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: my hundred episodes back on the Steve ARKI Show back
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: in ninety seven. I didn't get a star to two
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: thousand and one. I don't know, well what year was it?
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I forgot one year, two thousand. It had to be
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: in the two twelve, twelve thirteen, like like ten at
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: nine whatever it was. Yeah, all the kids was there,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and I remember that because I had to fly the
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: ass out there. So you remember bills you pay? Yeah,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: so you know that stars on the other people. So
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: other than that, man, you really have no case Tommy, Okay, man,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I'll be here tomorrow, thank you. Well, yeah, it's not Monday.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Were talking yesterday? Yeah, no, it's okay. I'd like to
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: know that too. Yeah we why were you off yesterday? Okay?
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: If you just have to know, I've started filming Ready
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: to Love in Dallas and it just it went a little.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: It went a lot longer than expected. So that's that's
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: why I was Yeah, ok y'all were recording. Yeah, because
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you were at five and six in the morning the
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: time we on the air crying Donna cry and they
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: were playing me, we're working later and they were gave
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: me all these check out. I want to keep taking
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: this money for me. People like you welcome gratulations. Yeah,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: that's awesome than doing big things. You really are Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: you're getting eventually, dog, sir, keep grinding, baby, keep grinding,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: speaking existence, keep grinding. Would you stay junior, just speaking
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: to existence? Get it? Don't you got? You get a star?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: You got about twenty five more years. I got wild.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I got so in the sixties. Okay, yeah, now that
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: ain't bad at sixties. But people age surely, Yeah, that's evil,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: that's evil. You just gave your age twenty three? What
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: the same for? Dog'll be here for you know it? Yes,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Christmas is tomorrow. I keep telling you guys because I
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: was just so steven. Some words of encouragement about appreciation
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: before we get out of here. Well, dude, I don't
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: know if this is gonna be appreciation, but you know,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: I think people have to really concern yourself with what
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: are you doing to be appreciated. There's a lot of
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: people who want to appreciation for no reason. You know.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Here's what I heard the other day. Somebody said this
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: is very impact said, if your presence doesn't have an impact,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: then your absence won't make a difference. If your presence
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: doesn't make an impact, your absence won't make a difference.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: So just try to be an impactful person in more
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: more lives than your home. That's how you grow. It's
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: my clothing remarks a day, very short. They don't even
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: we didn't even bother quitting the music. Have a great day, y'all.
