- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming buck. Things not good. Steve to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the mother, I don't joining. You gotta use that turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out, to turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby down, h I sure will. But
- 2:03Speaker 1: come morning, everybody y'all listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah. Man, by God has been good to me. Man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't really count at all. You can't either, you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: God has done for you. If you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 1: little thing. It's unbelievable. The things He's done for us.
- 2:31Speaker 1: How many times you know, we got through something without
- 2:34Speaker 1: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 1: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:42Speaker 1: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 1: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:47Speaker 1: struggling out here, but guess what, You're still going to work.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You you know, you live in check the check, but
- 2:52Speaker 1: but you're making it all. You got all the plates spinning.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know, it's hard. You got a lot of plates spinning,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but you keep him up there somewhere. Every now I
- 2:59Speaker 1: near one break, but put two more back up there
- 3:01Speaker 1: to look a little bit better. And you got to
- 3:02Speaker 1: get to spending them so it all works. And then
- 3:06Speaker 1: you got a lot of people who just can't seem
- 3:09Speaker 1: to mentally put it together as to you know, why
- 3:15Speaker 1: their life isn't in a position that they wanted to be.
- 3:18Speaker 1: We talked about this oftentimes, but I want to try
- 3:20Speaker 1: another angle with you to day. You know, maybe it's you.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you. Maybe
- 3:31Speaker 1: it's no external force that's at fault, like you keep
- 3:35Speaker 1: making the excuse to be. You know, so many people
- 3:38Speaker 1: I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this, if
- 3:41Speaker 1: he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have done that,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would have been further along. I wasted all my time,
- 3:47Speaker 1: my years with this man, and he did this, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: I could have been here, and I could have been there,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and this woman she did this to me. If she
- 3:55Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I could have been here, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: I could have been there. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: not really that external force that you keep making it
- 4:06Speaker 1: out to be. See, I've done this to myself before.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Once again, I'm talking to you about something I know about.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I've done this to myself before. I've had the reason
- 4:19Speaker 1: I wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it
- 4:23Speaker 1: figured out as some external force. I had worked it
- 4:27Speaker 1: out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me, because if
- 4:32Speaker 1: so and so, or if this hadn't happened, and if
- 4:35Speaker 1: they hadn't have done this, I would have been further
- 4:38Speaker 1: along up the road. That's what I was saying. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: WOLDO hold on it or learned a valuable lesson? Man, See,
- 4:47Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:15Speaker 1: outside and try that. Try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you looking at in
- 5:25Speaker 1: that rearview mirrors where you're passed or should have passed,
- 5:28Speaker 1: something you should have moved on from. All you're doing
- 5:32Speaker 1: is looking in that rearview mirror at what happened back there.
- 5:36Speaker 1: If you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're
- 5:39Speaker 1: gonna crash your car over and over and over again.
- 5:45Speaker 1: All you got to slow it down so bad in
- 5:49Speaker 1: order for you to keep looking in that rearview mirror.
- 5:54Speaker 1: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:03Speaker 1: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:08Speaker 1: know it's hard. Man. I watched a show and this
- 6:10Speaker 1: lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive them for that,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or guess what, guess what God may have already forgiven
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person. That person may be extremely remorseful, could have
- 6:24Speaker 1: gone to God and God and forgiveness for it years ago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But you you sit here and you keep hanging on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to the back. I can't ever forgive that. Then I
- 6:36Speaker 1: heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one time and
- 6:39Speaker 1: say something that really really struck on. You keep drinking
- 6:43Speaker 1: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. He said that.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I just shook my head and went, wow, you drinking
- 6:54Speaker 1: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is
- 6:59Speaker 1: poor to you. You know, if hatred is poising to
- 7:07Speaker 1: you unforgivingness, when you won't forgive a person, that person
- 7:12Speaker 1: could be going on with their life made the right
- 7:15Speaker 1: with God. Don't know how you're feeling. They're skipping through
- 7:18Speaker 1: life now. You make adjustments every time you see them,
- 7:21Speaker 1: and it takes energy. Man, it takes so much energy
- 7:25Speaker 1: to hate. It takes so much energy not to forgive
- 7:28Speaker 1: too that they come in the room. You got to
- 7:30Speaker 1: avoid them. Stay over here, Oh here they come. Now
- 7:34Speaker 1: you got to make a situation over here. They come
- 7:37Speaker 1: into the house. It's family reunion. Oh here they come.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Or where they're gonna be in the basement. I'm going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be on the third floor. I want to go
- 7:43Speaker 1: outead and get some barbecue. She out there at the barbecue, staying,
- 7:46Speaker 1: Oh lord, I don't want a barbecue. I just eat
- 7:47Speaker 1: to take the stage. People man, take themselves all out
- 7:50Speaker 1: of position, trying to make adjustments, when if you it
- 7:54Speaker 1: would simplify your life, if you would let just let
- 7:59Speaker 1: it go. Maybe you ain't where you need to be
- 8:02Speaker 1: because of them external forces altogether. Maybe you're not where
- 8:06Speaker 1: you need to be cause of you, because you won't
- 8:10Speaker 1: let it go, you won't move forward. Look at this, ladies.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Let's say you've been in a situation with a man
- 8:17Speaker 1: for years. It didn't work out for whatever the reason,
- 8:21Speaker 1: it just didn't work out. I got, I got what
- 8:24Speaker 1: you said he did. I got what he did, I
- 8:26Speaker 1: got all of that, YadA, YadA YadA. When you get through,
- 8:31Speaker 1: did not God get you through it? Did not he
- 8:36Speaker 1: allow you to survive it? I got you, got some
- 8:40Speaker 1: cuts on you, I got you been a little bit bruised.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But did he not get you through it? So, now
- 8:48Speaker 1: that he's freed you from it, now he didn't went on.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He got a whole other family over that somewhere. He
- 8:53Speaker 1: now he trying to make it right because maybe he
- 8:56Speaker 1: learned the mistake he made and now he trying to
- 8:58Speaker 1: be a better man. He just trying to get it
- 8:59Speaker 1: right right now. But you're sitting there holding onto it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So now instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally
- 9:09Speaker 1: being free from a situation that was not healthy for you.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind
- 9:16Speaker 1: by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall
- 9:21Speaker 1: on his face. Maybe you're even doing something to the
- 9:24Speaker 1: other situation to make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: drinking poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe you
- 9:32Speaker 1: ain't where you ought to be in life, not because
- 9:35Speaker 1: of your external forces, but maybe it's you. If you
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't let it go, it's gonna be hard for you
- 9:43Speaker 1: to go. You can't keep driving your car looking in
- 9:47Speaker 1: the rear view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is not
- 9:52Speaker 1: for the other person. Forgiveness is for you. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: Let me have your undivided attention. We are about to
- 10:07Speaker 1: begin and experience. I'm sparcing some things, you know, kind

- 11:57Speaker 1: do you mean? You know it's your stuff that for
- 11:59Speaker 1: post like you know that that ain't interesting. Hey, nobody
- 12:06Speaker 1: got nothing to do? Oh man, But but I'll be
- 12:10Speaker 1: going around. Hey, y'all just want y'all to see me. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: people are bored, that's how it is. Anyway. They don't
- 12:18Speaker 1: know what they just want you to see. Nothing I
- 12:21Speaker 1: can I can attest to that all right, But I
- 12:26Speaker 1: mean it's the time to reflect, it's the time to
- 12:28Speaker 1: do a lot of things. I mean, you don't have
- 12:30Speaker 1: to be bored if you don't want to be bored.
- 12:32Speaker 1: But you know I got that man books or the
- 12:38Speaker 1: books online. Yeah, well I'm writing a book, so to see,

- 13:17Speaker 1: Just leave a dish so you break something. I broke
- 13:20Speaker 1: a plate the other day on purpose. That's really trifling,
- 13:25Speaker 1: it is. I don't know how to get out of

- 26:30Speaker 1: me here and I'm numb like this, but not to
- 26:32Speaker 1: come bring no brown man, no toilet paper because he
- 26:35Speaker 1: is responsible when he going into the restroom. That sound
- 26:38Speaker 1: like a personal problem. You you too wrong for that
- 26:41Speaker 1: just is sent You're wasted though this is an emergency, man, Man,
- 26:44Speaker 1: that don't sound in the urgency. That sounds like a

- 27:54Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, man, one more thing. What is
- 27:56Speaker 1: what is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 27:59Speaker 1: show in the land, The Steve Harvest Show. Y'all play
- 28:02Speaker 1: a practical jokes, folks. Face. Now you're having folks catch
- 28:09Speaker 1: me being stupid right there on iTunes. Just put my
- 28:14Speaker 1: name in, nephew, Tommy, and all of my ignorance will
- 28:16Speaker 1: just pop up, and I will handle most of your day.
- 28:20Speaker 1: If you're at home and you're stuck there and you're lonely,
- 28:22Speaker 1: come be stupid with me for a while, give me
- 28:24Speaker 1: a couple of hours. I'll put a smile on your face.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I promise, y'all. Do it. My girlfriend says her her
- 28:32Speaker 1: fiance to get in the mood, he plays your CDs
- 28:36Speaker 1: and it doesn't work for her him him, but every
- 28:42Speaker 1: night he plays it. Wait, wait, wait, wait to get
- 28:45Speaker 1: him in the move. Yes, yes, he needs stupid to
- 28:49Speaker 1: get him in. He loves us. He plays it every night,
- 28:54Speaker 1: every night in the mood. In the mood. All right, listen,
- 29:01Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you, nephew.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Some entertainment and national news right after this. You're listening
- 29:07Speaker 1: to show in today's entertainment news. Well, last night, are
- 29:14Speaker 1: Forever First Lady, the Fabulous Michelle Obama and DJ d
- 29:19Speaker 1: Nice hosted a couch party. It was for voter registration.
- 29:23Speaker 1: While partying from a comfort of your home and sitting
- 29:26Speaker 1: on the couch jamming with d Nice on Instagram live
- 29:29Speaker 1: volunteers across the country. We're working and texting eligible voters
- 29:34Speaker 1: to help them register to vote. Now, if you missed
- 29:37Speaker 1: all of this, the big couch party and everything, you
- 29:39Speaker 1: can still register. All you have to do is go
- 29:42Speaker 1: to we all vote dot org. That's we all vote
- 29:47Speaker 1: dot org. All right, now, leave it to Cardi by
- 29:53Speaker 1: two Steve check check in my wife, Magnance Nice. You're
- 30:01Speaker 1: all quiet and everything. No, no, no, no, I'm just
- 30:04Speaker 1: you know, you know, letting it go, you know, just case,
- 30:06Speaker 1: you know, Marge listening. She soon she is something. He is.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Everybody on that get on there. Okay, yeah, all right.
- 30:20Speaker 1: So leaving to Carti b to start some controversy in
- 30:23Speaker 1: this era. In case you missed it, Carti was on
- 30:26Speaker 1: the GRAM and she insinuated that celebrities like, let's say,
- 30:30Speaker 1: Tom Hanks, Kevin Durant, and Andy Cohen are being paid
- 30:34Speaker 1: to say that they've contracted the coronavirus. Now, Idris uh
- 30:39Speaker 1: Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina, they were not having it. Um.
- 30:43Speaker 1: They did a live uh I G session to debunk
- 30:48Speaker 1: Carti's theory without actually saying her name. Uh, they were
- 30:52Speaker 1: saying the idea that someone like myself is going to
- 30:55Speaker 1: be paid to say I have coronavirus. That's like absolute
- 30:59Speaker 1: b as, absolute bull sugar honey iced tea. That's what
- 31:04Speaker 1: Edre said. Cardie B also called out Huh. She called
- 31:09Speaker 1: out celebrities for getting tested in a time of mass
- 31:12Speaker 1: shortages of coronavirus tests. Take a listen. If a celebrity
- 31:16Speaker 1: is thing, hey, listen, I don't have no symptoms. I'm
- 31:19Speaker 1: feeling good, I feel healthy, I don't feel like nothing.
- 31:22Speaker 1: But I went and got tested and I'm positive for
- 31:24Speaker 1: the coronavirus. That caused confusion that made people be like,
- 31:28Speaker 1: well wait a minute now, Oh I don't have no symptoms,
- 31:32Speaker 1: but I know I went out this and that day
- 31:34Speaker 1: I might just have it. I'm scared because I'm around
- 31:37Speaker 1: my kid, I'm around my grandparents. What should I do? Okay,
- 31:45Speaker 1: you cannot you don't have it? Yeah, yeah, I mean, look,
- 31:52Speaker 1: hey man, I've been tested, you know, but I got
- 31:56Speaker 1: I'm around a lot of people. I was doing family feud,
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'm eating families every day, and you don't have to
- 32:01Speaker 1: have symptoms. Everybody eventually should get tested. And celebrities are
- 32:06Speaker 1: people too, So yeah, I mean, you know, like Wint
- 32:11Speaker 1: Winton just came back from Dubai about five days ago.
- 32:16Speaker 1: He was in Dubai and Dubai and the UA is
- 32:20Speaker 1: one of the safest places, Like I said, but you
- 32:22Speaker 1: got to fly on these airplanes and then he had
- 32:25Speaker 1: to go through the airport and you know, they got
- 32:28Speaker 1: a little screening processes going on at these airports. So
- 32:32Speaker 1: guess what Winton had to get tested. He had to
- 32:35Speaker 1: go live in a house. My wife would not even
- 32:38Speaker 1: let him in the house. He had to go to
- 32:41Speaker 1: our other house stayed there. Yeah, we got a doctor
- 32:46Speaker 1: that had a test tested him and he just got
- 32:49Speaker 1: his results back that he was negative yesterday. So he
- 32:51Speaker 1: came over until the count because you know what, Marger,
- 32:56Speaker 1: keep telling them your daddy is over sixty and I'd
- 33:00Speaker 1: be going one day. Cardie had some complaints, she said,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I said what I said. Okay, all right, Steve, time
- 33:10Speaker 1: now for some headlines. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Tripp,
- 33:16Speaker 1: thank you very much. This is a troop with the news.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Let's get to it. The US is now about to
- 33:20Speaker 1: pass the one thousand mark in coronavirus deaths. They're nearing
- 33:24Speaker 1: it right now. The two trillion dollars economic stimulus bill,
- 33:27Speaker 1: at least, that did pass the Senate last night. The
- 33:30Speaker 1: vote was unanimous, ninety six to nothing. The bill now
- 33:33Speaker 1: goes to the House of Representatives democratically to say they're
- 33:36Speaker 1: going to approve it tomorrow morning. There are now sixty
- 33:39Speaker 1: five thousand cases in the nation. The death toll, I
- 33:42Speaker 1: could say, nearing a thousand, nine hundred and twenty eight.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Not everybody's happy with the bill, however. New York City's mayor,
- 33:48Speaker 1: Mayor Deblasio says that New York would only get about
- 33:51Speaker 1: a billion dollars out of that two trillion, despite the
- 33:54Speaker 1: fact that New York has about one third of the
- 33:56Speaker 1: nation's CORONA cases. New York's governor, Governor Cuomo, is also
- 34:00Speaker 1: disappointed by the way. Despite President Trump's let's all go
- 34:03Speaker 1: to church on Easter hopes, there are some new COVID
- 34:07Speaker 1: nineteen hotspots. There have been disaster declarations now with Texas
- 34:11Speaker 1: and Louisiana, and in Detroit, two police officers have died
- 34:14Speaker 1: from the virus the first time. Though. At last night's
- 34:17Speaker 1: coronavirus briefing, President Trump did seem very very very much
- 34:21Speaker 1: focused on helping the city where he was born and raised.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I want you to know that I'm doing everything in
- 34:26Speaker 1: my power to help the city pull through this challenge.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm working very hard in New York. It's really by
- 34:32Speaker 1: far our biggest problem. Maybe it will be, maybe it
- 34:35Speaker 1: won't be, but there's a lot of good, capable people
- 34:38Speaker 1: working on it with us, and our teams are working
- 34:40Speaker 1: very well with the state representatives. State and local officials
- 34:43Speaker 1: still wondering why the President doesn't enforce the Federal Defense Act,
- 34:46Speaker 1: which would allow him to order companies to start production
- 34:49Speaker 1: of respirators in medical protection gear. In the state of California,
- 34:52Speaker 1: where officials say they're only six weeks away from having
- 34:55Speaker 1: the same kind of problem that New York has, Governor
- 34:57Speaker 1: Garret Gavin Newsom says that state purchased and donate masks
- 35:01Speaker 1: and ventilators making their way there, but he's vigorously preparing
- 35:04Speaker 1: for a possibly serious spike in infections. We're getting these
- 35:07Speaker 1: assets in place so that we can at least buy
- 35:10Speaker 1: ourselves some time as we procure all of these other
- 35:14Speaker 1: resources in real time. Meanwhile, Florida's Governor Rod de Sandis
- 35:17Speaker 1: is telling anybody who flies into his state from New
- 35:20Speaker 1: York City's area to self quarantine themselves for two weeks.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And he's serious about National Guard and some other health
- 35:27Speaker 1: folks at the airports. All these folks are having they're
- 35:30Speaker 1: in for they have to provide information, they have to
- 35:33Speaker 1: provide a place where they'll be self isolating, and that
- 35:36Speaker 1: is enforceable under the executive order, so they could face
- 35:39Speaker 1: adverse consequences. Like I said, he's serious about another one
- 35:43Speaker 1: bites to dust for now, the seventy fourth annual Tony Awards,
- 35:46Speaker 1: they're a worst schedule for June seventh. They're going to
- 35:48Speaker 1: be postponed. The Olympics is postponed till twenty twenty one. Finally,
- 35:52Speaker 1: if social distancing is driving you drunk, get this. According
- 35:55Speaker 1: to the Wall Street Journal, people are hosting virtual happy
- 35:58Speaker 1: hour events on Facebook live time in zoom. The upside,
- 36:01Speaker 1: the peanuts and the chicken wings have been breathed on,
- 36:03Speaker 1: and there's no line for the bad. Now back to
- 36:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 36:11Speaker 1: Mourning Show in Trending Economy News. We all saw it yesterday.
- 36:15Speaker 1: The lawmakers struck finally a two trillion dollars stimulus deal
- 36:20Speaker 1: that includes sending checks directly to individuals amid the coronavirus crisis,
- 36:26Speaker 1: but it will likely take until at least May before
- 36:30Speaker 1: the money actually goes out. According to The New York Times,
- 36:33Speaker 1: a twelve hundred dollars payment for each adult and five
- 36:37Speaker 1: hundred dollars per child and households that earn up to
- 36:39Speaker 1: seventy five thousand dollars per year for individuals or one
- 36:43Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars for couples. There is no
- 36:46Speaker 1: assistance for people who earn more. Okay, Unemployment benefits would
- 36:51Speaker 1: extend huh, hey, I don't know where. Hey. Unemployment benefits
- 37:03Speaker 1: would extend the jobless insurance by thirteen weeks and include
- 37:07Speaker 1: a four month enhancement of benefits. The Democrats also insisted
- 37:12Speaker 1: this included freelancers and furloughed employees. Small businesses will receive
- 37:17Speaker 1: emergency loans if they keep their workers distressed. Companies can
- 37:22Speaker 1: receive government bailouts, and hospitals staggering under the burden of
- 37:26Speaker 1: the coronavirus would receive eight as well. This is the
- 37:30Speaker 1: third time since the year two thousand the federal government
- 37:33Speaker 1: has approved payments to citizens based on special circumstances. So
- 37:39Speaker 1: thank you. You know, trillion, that's a lot, a lot,
- 37:42Speaker 1: a lot of zeros. Huh. Well, yeah, that's good though,
- 37:47Speaker 1: because its great that they finally could work together and
- 37:51Speaker 1: do it. Yes, it's grateful for those first responders. Yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 1: you know, we got to get this curved fixed flat.
- 37:59Speaker 1: People have got to stay in and you got to
- 38:01Speaker 1: take the precaution. And another thing I just recently learned too,
- 38:05Speaker 1: because so many people are getting food delivered now. The
- 38:09Speaker 1: Center from Disease Controlled just announced today that the coronavirus
- 38:13Speaker 1: can live on cloth and bags for up to two hours. Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 1: I've heard that you're supposed to take the food out
- 38:21Speaker 1: of the bag once it gets delivered, throw the bag away,
- 38:24Speaker 1: then get the food. Well I'm talking about you know,
- 38:27Speaker 1: and plus those those canvas bags those food delivery services.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, got you. And so you know that
- 38:37Speaker 1: you should spray down the bags when you get them
- 38:39Speaker 1: and let them sit in the garage for hours. So
- 38:43Speaker 1: they say it's just a lot going on, man, Yeah, yeah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: And you have to really be conscientious, you definitely do.
- 38:51Speaker 1: And you want to order the food to support the
- 38:53Speaker 1: restaurants to keep them in business. It's most people ordering
- 38:58Speaker 1: food to stay alive though, yeah, I mean so you
- 39:02Speaker 1: have something to eat, of course, Yeah, but you go
- 39:05Speaker 1: to the grocery store. Basic information. All right, listen, coming
- 39:11Speaker 1: up in thirty four minutes after the hour. Uh, we're
- 39:16Speaker 1: gonna switch gears and get ready to ask the CLO,
- 39:19Speaker 1: the Chief Love Officer. Right after this you're listening to.
- 39:25Speaker 1: All right, Steve, it is time. It is time. Bring
- 39:28Speaker 1: him on in here, the CLLO Chief Love Officer. We
- 39:31Speaker 1: have some questions for him. All right. I love it,
- 39:35Speaker 1: and you don't have to get ready right. This one's
- 39:38Speaker 1: from Donna in El Paso, Texas. She says, a year ago,
- 39:42Speaker 1: my husband was deployed and he was told he would
- 39:45Speaker 1: be away for eighteen months. Six months after he left,
- 39:49Speaker 1: I ended up having an affair with his stepbrother, and
- 39:52Speaker 1: I got pregnant from our first encounter. His stepbrother and
- 39:56Speaker 1: I never messed around again after that. But he wants
- 40:00Speaker 1: me to have the baby and he will raise it.
- 40:02Speaker 1: My husband just told me he's coming home next month,
- 40:05Speaker 1: earlier than expect it. So should I tell him about
- 40:09Speaker 1: the pregnancy now or should I wait until he gets home? When? What? What?
- 40:15Speaker 1: When do you think this is gonna be a good
- 40:16Speaker 1: time to tell Yeah, I really don't have a suggestion
- 40:20Speaker 1: for you. I don't know how with his brother in law,
- 40:26Speaker 1: step brother. She had an a fan with her husband's
- 40:32Speaker 1: step brother. Yes, yes, yes, his stepbrother, and she got
- 40:36Speaker 1: pregnant after the first time. Yeah, and now he didn't
- 40:40Speaker 1: told you. He wants you to have the baby and
- 40:42Speaker 1: he gonna raise it. He'll raise it. Yeah, I have
- 40:45Speaker 1: no comment. I don't know what to tell I really
- 40:48Speaker 1: say you are. I don't know what to tell yo,
- 40:52Speaker 1: this dude think get his ass? Will soon? Just madn't
- 40:54Speaker 1: get home. That's what's gonna happen, thinking understand that that's
- 40:58Speaker 1: going to say. I don't know, I don't know. You know, Uh,
- 41:04Speaker 1: but she's so cavalier about it. Should I tell him now?
- 41:06Speaker 1: Or wait? What his relationship? Yeah, tell somebody that's coming
- 41:17Speaker 1: home from that'd be a good day. He'd been deployed,
- 41:22Speaker 1: thinking he got a wife at home. I don't know
- 41:26Speaker 1: what to tell you, but no, you got You're wrong.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I have nothing to tell you. I don't know when
- 41:31Speaker 1: you should tell him? I really don't. That is no
- 41:34Speaker 1: good time. All hell gonna break loose when the man
- 41:37Speaker 1: come home though, because the stepbrother your best to believe
- 41:41Speaker 1: he gonna have something to deal Yeah. I don't know
- 41:45Speaker 1: what you're gonna have to deal with. You don't have
- 41:47Speaker 1: a marriage anymore. So I hope that fleeting was worth it,
- 41:51Speaker 1: and I hope his his stepbrother won't you. Yeah, he
- 41:55Speaker 1: doesn't want to move. Get back on a move. Yeah,
- 41:59Speaker 1: maybe been at the step brother the father of your baby.
- 42:03Speaker 1: This is crazy, all right, so we'll move on. Steve,
- 42:07Speaker 1: This is from Tye and Jack's hunt. Would you say,
- 42:09Speaker 1: Junior these questions? He will be asked? You keep putting
- 42:13Speaker 1: no weight? All right? This is from Tye and Jacksonville. Steve.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Tye says, I've been married for seven years and my
- 42:24Speaker 1: wife is my everything. I work hard so she can
- 42:27Speaker 1: stay home every day and have a good life. Two
- 42:30Speaker 1: months ago I saw her. I saw on her credit
- 42:33Speaker 1: card statement that she'd been running a room at a
- 42:36Speaker 1: nearby hotel. She said that it was a mistake and
- 42:39Speaker 1: she would call the hotel to dispute the charges. I
- 42:42Speaker 1: believed her, but then I got a message on Facebook
- 42:45Speaker 1: from a man that said my wife had been paying
- 42:48Speaker 1: him for sex and he thought I should know. I
- 42:51Speaker 1: have not confronted my wife yet. But I'm trying to
- 42:54Speaker 1: find this dude, Steve, how should I handle this that
- 42:58Speaker 1: you can answer this one? I mean, man, I don't
- 43:01Speaker 1: know what I'm trying to find this dude. First of all,
- 43:07Speaker 1: you're not married to the dude you and the dude
- 43:10Speaker 1: took no vows. Your whole problem is your girl. If
- 43:15Speaker 1: there is a problem. Now, it sounds quite strange that
- 43:21Speaker 1: you would discover this charge. She says she's gonna call
- 43:23Speaker 1: the hotel and dispute it. And then right after that
- 43:26Speaker 1: a guy calls and says that your wife has been
- 43:29Speaker 1: paying him to have sex with her. That's a big coincidence.
- 43:33Speaker 1: So now me, I would do a little me personally.
- 43:38Speaker 1: I would do a little forensic science gathering of information,
- 43:43Speaker 1: you know, stuff like that. I don't know how you
- 43:45Speaker 1: do that, but you know, you know you can find
- 43:49Speaker 1: out if she was really there not. But your whole
- 43:52Speaker 1: problem is with your wife. Your problem ain't with this dude.
- 43:56Speaker 1: But then his motivation for calling you and telling you
- 43:59Speaker 1: that is I thank you ought to know. I can't
- 44:04Speaker 1: get that call right all right? Thank you, Yellow, and
- 44:07Speaker 1: none of them next what I wanted to really saying. Next,
- 44:15Speaker 1: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call. Right
- 44:18Speaker 1: after this, you're listening morning show coming up at the
- 44:23Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:26Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today subject men and women can't
- 44:30Speaker 1: be just friends? All right? But right now nephew in
- 44:33Speaker 1: the building with today's prank phone call. What do you
- 44:36Speaker 1: have for us today? I have alarm alert, Shirley, alarm alert.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Everybody has an alama on the houses. You know what
- 44:45Speaker 1: happens when it goes off, that's an alama alert. And
- 44:48Speaker 1: I just happened to give someone a call. Here we go,
- 44:52Speaker 1: let's go get Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach de Nise. Please, Yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 1: this is Denise. Hi, Denise. This is only I'm calling security.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I've got an alarm that We've got an alarm that's
- 45:05Speaker 1: gone off on you guys. Property is all right? Are
- 45:07Speaker 1: you guys? We're just checking before we send authorities out.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Is everything okay? Then maybe someone trip the alarm? Oh
- 45:14Speaker 1: my gosh, No, I'm at work. I'm at work right now.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I'm not home. Okay. Do you have a tet or
- 45:21Speaker 1: dog or anything that could actually trip the alarm? No, No,
- 45:25Speaker 1: that's strange. It never goes off like that. I'm nervous. Okay,
- 45:30Speaker 1: give you a second. We've got a call into the
- 45:32Speaker 1: neighborhood security that actually are en route to the property,
- 45:36Speaker 1: and they were going to give us some information before
- 45:40Speaker 1: we actually sent sent the police officers out, unless you
- 45:43Speaker 1: would like for me to send them out now. But yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 1: I feel like you should send the police. I mean,
- 45:47Speaker 1: if I'm not home and nobody's home and my alarms
- 45:50Speaker 1: going off and it never goes off that, I'm worried. Okay,
- 45:55Speaker 1: hang on one second, this is neighborhood security calling that.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Hang on one second. I'll be right back to you.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Oh okay, niece, are you there? Yes, yes, yes, I'm here.
- 46:04Speaker 1: They have um they're out there at the property, the
- 46:07Speaker 1: neighborhood security. Do you um there is a black guy
- 46:12Speaker 1: there is only your premise. Are you familiar with who
- 46:15Speaker 1: that might be? Well, I mean my husband's black, but
- 46:19Speaker 1: he should be at work right now. Okay, Oh definitely okay,
- 46:24Speaker 1: and he probably would have texted me if you know
- 46:26Speaker 1: the alarm was flying off. Okay, Well, I mean, do
- 46:29Speaker 1: you have any other black male friends? Excuse me, do
- 46:34Speaker 1: you have any other Do you have any other black
- 46:36Speaker 1: male friends that might be at the house. I mean, yeah,
- 46:42Speaker 1: it's a very weird question. I mean I have black friends, yes,
- 46:45Speaker 1: but I don't think they would be in my house. Okay, well,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I mean should we just assume that this is your husband?
- 46:51Speaker 1: What do you think? I I mean, what would you
- 46:54Speaker 1: like that work? I mean? What? How tall is this person?
- 47:00Speaker 1: In sixty three? On? Hold on one second? Let me
- 47:03Speaker 1: go back to the scurry from the night rood. I
- 47:05Speaker 1: ain't on one second. Don't know if somebody's in my
- 47:09Speaker 1: alarms going off? I don't know. I mean, okay, Denie, yes, okay,
- 47:15Speaker 1: they have The black guy that they're looking at is
- 47:18Speaker 1: about five foot ten, maybe late twenties. How old is
- 47:22Speaker 1: your husband? No, my husband is I just told you
- 47:28Speaker 1: that my husband's not there. He would have texted me
- 47:31Speaker 1: or called me and told me that he accidentally set
- 47:33Speaker 1: the alarm off. And I'm actually gonna text him. I mean,
- 47:37Speaker 1: this is crazy. I should probably call him. Okay, do
- 47:40Speaker 1: you do realize if we send you do realize if
- 47:42Speaker 1: we send the authorities out and this is a false call,
- 47:44Speaker 1: that you're gonna get charged for that. You do know that, right?
- 47:47Speaker 1: A false call? You just said somebody's in my house
- 47:50Speaker 1: and it's not me or my husband. You're saying your
- 47:56Speaker 1: husband's black and then there's a black guy there. I mean,
- 47:59Speaker 1: there're probably no each other, right, Are you kidding me?
- 48:03Speaker 1: What kind of question is that because they're both black.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I'm just trying to save you some money, ma'am. I
- 48:10Speaker 1: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 48:12Speaker 1: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 48:14Speaker 1: the black guy, or he's he's a relative or something.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I mean, do they I mean, you know, do you
- 48:19Speaker 1: want to call what do you think like this? This
- 48:25Speaker 1: is really offensive and and I don't understand if I'm
- 48:28Speaker 1: telling you that I don't know who the person is
- 48:30Speaker 1: in my house that means to send the police. I mean,
- 48:34Speaker 1: this is ridiculous. You think they're they're calling back neighborhoods.
- 48:40Speaker 1: He just hold on one second. Neighborhood security is calling
- 48:43Speaker 1: back here. Oh my god, this is ridiculous. Okay, Denise,
- 48:51Speaker 1: Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling me that
- 48:56Speaker 1: this guy just drove out of the garage and a
- 48:58Speaker 1: white pickup. Do you do you got to have a
- 49:00Speaker 1: white pickup? Yes, we do. So this guy just pulled
- 49:05Speaker 1: out of your your your garage and a white pickup. Well,
- 49:08Speaker 1: I have my car at work, and my husband has
- 49:11Speaker 1: his car that's like the truck that he uses on
- 49:14Speaker 1: the weekends for like construction and stuff. So that means
- 49:17Speaker 1: somebody just stole our car. I can't believe this is happening.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You are watching somebody in my house and you you
- 49:24Speaker 1: basically watch them steal my truck. Well, well, I'm gonna
- 49:28Speaker 1: go ahead and now and get the police to go over. Okay,
- 49:31Speaker 1: why the are you going to send them? Now? He
- 49:34Speaker 1: probably took all my ship in my house. I mean,
- 49:37Speaker 1: the police get there, there's not gonna be anything left
- 49:39Speaker 1: in my house. Probably the start the back of the truck.
- 49:42Speaker 1: I mean, I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying
- 49:44Speaker 1: to help you out of you is going to do
- 49:46Speaker 1: with me now? I mean, the whole time you've been
- 49:48Speaker 1: talking to me, he's been cleaning up my house out
- 49:51Speaker 1: and stealing. Well, how did he get in your house?
- 49:56Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know this guy. Okay, I'm
- 50:02Speaker 1: just asking you. How could somebody gave here a house?
- 50:05Speaker 1: Did you leave something open? What did you go? Hey, listen,
- 50:09Speaker 1: you would know because I wouldn't have been able to
- 50:11Speaker 1: set my alarm this morning. If something was open, it
- 50:15Speaker 1: would beep and it wouldn't let me set the alarm.
- 50:17Speaker 1: And the fact that you're interrogating me when somebody's robbing
- 50:20Speaker 1: my house. You need to do your job. I need
- 50:24Speaker 1: to call my husband. You're wasting my time. I mean,
- 50:27Speaker 1: by the time the police get there, it's going to
- 50:29Speaker 1: be tomorrow. So you're gonna so you're gonna call Darrel. Now,
- 50:33Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you're gonna call Darrel. Now, how do you
- 50:37Speaker 1: know my husband's name, Denise? This is nephew telling me
- 50:45Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey More to show your husband. Darrell
- 50:48Speaker 1: got me through prank phone coffee. Oh my god, I
- 50:53Speaker 1: was gonna come down there and right, nobody stole your truck,
- 51:04Speaker 1: nobody's at your house. Your alarm is sign everything is good.
- 51:07Speaker 1: But Therell told me said, we gotta get my wife.
- 51:09Speaker 1: We gotta get a good that's so did we get you?
- 51:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, I was sweating. I was so angry.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I was sweating over here. All right, So tell me this.
- 51:22Speaker 1: What is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 51:25Speaker 1: show in the land. So Steve Harvey Morning Show, and
- 51:35Speaker 1: now you have it. Alarm alert. Man. Okay, you better
- 51:42Speaker 1: stay alert. I know that because has all alarment was
- 51:47Speaker 1: just gone out in the middle of the night, just
- 51:49Speaker 1: on you know something crazy man. Yeah, I don't know.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not preparing it. I'm really not. I'm
- 51:59Speaker 1: already too late. Soon as you go off, I know,
- 52:01Speaker 1: I can't get to nothing for anything that wakes you
- 52:05Speaker 1: up out of it. I got to tell us. I
- 52:07Speaker 1: got to tell the burglar. Hey, man, you're just get
- 52:09Speaker 1: brother too minutes. We'll we'll give me a minute. Yeah,
- 52:15Speaker 1: give me a minute, though, I ain't rid of I

- 53:54Speaker 1: buggle up, hold on tight. We got for you here.
- 53:56Speaker 1: It is serry letter, all right. Subject men and women
- 54:03Speaker 1: can't be just friends? Okay, can't do it? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I have an old friend that I've been holding a
- 54:13Speaker 1: grudge against for three years. She was one of my
- 54:16Speaker 1: best friends until she ended up sleeping with my boyfriend.
- 54:20Speaker 1: She and my boyfriend were good friends too, and whenever
- 54:23Speaker 1: he and I had problems in our relationship. He would
- 54:26Speaker 1: run to her and tell his side of the story.
- 54:30Speaker 1: A few times, he got so mad that he left
- 54:33Speaker 1: me and stayed overnight with her because he didn't want
- 54:36Speaker 1: to be around me. Call me crazy, but at that
- 54:39Speaker 1: time I would be so mad that I didn't care
- 54:41Speaker 1: where he was sleeping. Then there was the time that
- 54:45Speaker 1: my friend's boyfriend threatened her, so my boyfriend went to
- 54:49Speaker 1: her house to make sure everything was okay. That was
- 54:52Speaker 1: the night that my friend and my boyfriend had sex.
- 54:56Speaker 1: She called me the next day, crying like a fool,
- 55:00Speaker 1: told me how it all went down. She said she
- 55:02Speaker 1: was vulnerable and scared and my boyfriend was comforting her,
- 55:06Speaker 1: and it just happened when he got home. I tried
- 55:11Speaker 1: to knock him all the way out before I broke
- 55:13Speaker 1: up with him. Needless to say, I tried to fight
- 55:16Speaker 1: her too, but never caught her at the right time.
- 55:19Speaker 1: So here we are three years later, and she texted
- 55:23Speaker 1: me to see if I would talk to her. I
- 55:25Speaker 1: told her no, but my conscience got the best of
- 55:28Speaker 1: me and I figured I could at least hear her out.
- 55:32Speaker 1: We met a couple of weeks ago. We met up
- 55:35Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago, and she cried a whole
- 55:37Speaker 1: lot and asked for my forgiveness. I recently got engaged
- 55:40Speaker 1: to a wonderful man, and I've learned to never have
- 55:43Speaker 1: another female around my man, and I don't want my
- 55:46Speaker 1: man to have female friend because of her. I have
- 55:49Speaker 1: major trust issues with my new man. How can I
- 55:52Speaker 1: get past what she did to me? Should I let
- 55:55Speaker 1: her back into my life? Please advise? Well, you know,
- 55:59Speaker 1: as we always say on the show, the quickest way,
- 56:02Speaker 1: you know, maybe not the easiest way or anything like that,
- 56:06Speaker 1: but the quickest way to get past stuff is to forgive.
- 56:10Speaker 1: And this is hard because this is one of your
- 56:12Speaker 1: best friends. She betrayed you, and understandably, so you cut
- 56:17Speaker 1: her off, try to beat her up, all of that,
- 56:19Speaker 1: but you couldn't find her. You said it was ever
- 56:21Speaker 1: the right time. Try to beat up your man too,
- 56:23Speaker 1: before you guys, you know, before you guys broke up.
- 56:27Speaker 1: But um, you have a new man now, all right,
- 56:30Speaker 1: and that's the situation. I mean, but you have trust issues.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You don't say that you've gone to counseling or you've
- 56:38Speaker 1: gone to therapy or anything to deal with your trust issues.
- 56:42Speaker 1: So I gotta tell you you cannot put that on
- 56:44Speaker 1: your your new man. You can't put that on your
- 56:46Speaker 1: your fiance because he wasn't around. He's a different man. Obviously,
- 56:51Speaker 1: you love him enough to get engaged to him and
- 56:54Speaker 1: possibly be married to him. That's usually what engagements leads
- 56:57Speaker 1: to lead to. But I just got to tell you
- 57:00Speaker 1: you cannot judge him or compare him with your ex.
- 57:03Speaker 1: And a lot of times we have a tendency to
- 57:05Speaker 1: do that with our trust issues. So you know you're
- 57:09Speaker 1: gonna be looking at every female that comes around him
- 57:12Speaker 1: in his life. You're gonna be looking at him crazy.
- 57:14Speaker 1: You said you don't even want him to have female friends.
- 57:17Speaker 1: You probably don't want any women around him period, And
- 57:20Speaker 1: that's gonna be a problem because you shouldn't put that
- 57:23Speaker 1: on him. Now, as far as your former best friend goes,
- 57:27Speaker 1: you've met with her. You know she was remorseful. I'm
- 57:31Speaker 1: assuming I really need of forgiveness. People can change, but
- 57:36Speaker 1: you know you won't know that until you give her
- 57:38Speaker 1: that second chance. But just to be her friend. But
- 57:41Speaker 1: if you do, you gotta not let her come around
- 57:45Speaker 1: your man. That's a no, no, no, no, Okay, you
- 57:50Speaker 1: can't have that kind of relationship with her like you
- 57:52Speaker 1: had before. You can't let your man go around her.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I don't care if her what happened with her and
- 57:58Speaker 1: her boyfriend. That's their bit, isn't It's okay. You gotta
- 58:01Speaker 1: have your relationship and they gotta have theirs. You need
- 58:04Speaker 1: to set some boundaries and some ground rules if you're
- 58:06Speaker 1: going to bring this woman back in your life, and
- 58:09Speaker 1: definitely don't let her or any other female until you
- 58:12Speaker 1: deal with your trust issues come around your man, Steve, Well,
- 58:19Speaker 1: this whole thing was kind of sloppy from the very
- 58:22Speaker 1: beginning all the way through this letter. It just it
- 58:25Speaker 1: all laid up to some foolery. Hill. You've been holding
- 58:30Speaker 1: the grudge against your old friend for three years. She
- 58:33Speaker 1: was your best friend until she slept with your boyfriend. Now,
- 58:39Speaker 1: she and my boyfriend were good friends too, and whatever
- 58:43Speaker 1: you and him had problems in your relationship, he would
- 58:47Speaker 1: run to her to tell his side of the story. Pocket.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Right there, that's the worst thing that a man can
- 58:54Speaker 1: do is take the problems he's having with his woman
- 58:58Speaker 1: and go and tell it to an other woman. That
- 59:01Speaker 1: right there is disrespectful of your woman and your relationship.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I just have to be honest with you, because now
- 59:09Speaker 1: this other woman who happens to be your best friend
- 59:13Speaker 1: but also supposedly his friend too, now has the goods.
- 59:18Speaker 1: She knows what's going on in y'all's relationship. You should
- 59:22Speaker 1: never have an outside party that knows everything that's going
- 59:26Speaker 1: on in your relationship. That's it's not gonna work out,
- 59:31Speaker 1: especially in this situation when you claim she's your friend
- 59:35Speaker 1: and he claims as her friends she's his friend too.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Now and then a few times he got so mad
- 59:45Speaker 1: that he left you and went and stayed overnight with
- 59:48Speaker 1: her because he didn't want to be around and at
- 59:52Speaker 1: what are you kidding me, a dude, and get mad
- 59:57Speaker 1: at you and go spend the night out another a
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: woman's house, and that was okay with you because you
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: was mad and you didn't care where he was sleeping.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: What do you see the problems before we even get
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to the why you wrote the letter? Oh this is crazy?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: All right? Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Today's subject that men and women just can't be friends.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this you're listening show,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letters subject Men
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: and women can't just be friends? Can't be just friends?
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Lady with friends with this girl, and she ain't been
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: holding she's been holding the grudge against her for three
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: years because she slept with a boyfriend. Now she and
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: her boyfriend. Now the girl that her girlfriend is also
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: her boyfriend's friend too. And whenever they had problems in
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: our relationship, he would run over and tell his side
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: of the story. That's fine, I supposed to do that. Secondly,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a few times he got when he left me, he
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: would stay overnight with her because he didn't want to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: be around me. Call me crazy, but at the time
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I would be so mad I didn't care where he
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: would sleeping. That's another problem. A man can leave your
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: bed because he mad and go sleep at another woman's house.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Who does that? Who is aware of that? You think
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: you do? You think we got a problem in here now? Man?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: If I go, wait a minute, So I got a
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: woman friend that I tell all our business too, And
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: when I get mad at you, I go over, I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: go over your girlfriend's house and spend the night. What
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: that don't make no damn sense? Then that was the
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: time where your girlfriend's boydfriend threatened her, So your boyfriend
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: went to her house to make sure everything was okay.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: That was a night that your friend and your boyfriend
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: had sex. Did she call you the next day crying
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: like a fool and told me hide all went down?
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: She said she was vulnerable and scared, and my boyfriend
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: was confident in her, and it just happened what it
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: just had crazy. See, you can't just happen to have
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: sex with nobody. It's a process. Y'all got to take
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: each other clothes off. Y'all gotta be kissing hard. A
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: whole lot of stuff started happening when he got home.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I tried to knock him all the way out before
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I broke up with him. And needless to say, I
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: tried to fight her too, This to part I like,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: but never caught her at the right time. So that
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: means sister girl was trying to sneak our ass. I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: like that. She was trying to catch her somewhere, but
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I couldn't ever couldn't get the right time. That's cause
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: she was ducking Okay, So here we are. Three years later,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: she texted me to see if I would talk to him.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I told her no, but my conscience got the best
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: of men. I figured I could at least hear out,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: So we met up a couple of weeks ago. She
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: cried a whole lot and ask for my forgiveness. She
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: probably needs it and you should give it to it.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I recently got engaged to a wonderful man, and I've
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: learned to never have another female around my man, and
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I don't want my man to have female friends because
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: of her. I have major trust issues with my new man.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: How can I get past what she did to me?
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Should I let her back into my life? Well, this
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: is easy right here. First of all, like Shirley said,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: your new man ain't slept with your friend or nobody
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: else for that matter, and you got a life. Sometimes
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: we block out blessings of what God really gave us
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: that he had for us in the first place by
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: hanging on the stuff from the past. But you're not
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: only hanging on the stuff from the past, you're bringing
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it along on the new ride too, which is what
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: a lot of people do, and it's called baggage. Men
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: do it and women do it. And until you learn
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: how to let go of baggage, you can never would
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: be the full recipient and benefit of the new thing
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: that God has for you. This guy could be a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: great guy you got, and you may run him off
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: with a bunch of your insecurities and false things. Your
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: man ain't cheated on you, slept with you, or nothing.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Your man don't even know your friend, So why you
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: got that? Now you got two trust issues. Now you
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: don't trust men or women. So now you may never
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: have another friend in your life, and you may never
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: have another man in your life if you don't let
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: go on some of these trust issues. Now, your girlfriend,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: this's what you ought to do. You ought to forgive her,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: because then that way you ain't got a trip every
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: time you hear her name. You ain't got a trip
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: every time you see her. But all you should do
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: is forgive her. Letting her back in your life is
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: playing out. It's flat out stupidity. Why do you need
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: a person like that in your life? So, she probably
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: made a mistake, she probably regrets it, she probably wants forgiveness.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Give her all of that. But your forgiveness don't mean
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you forget now. So how in the world are you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: gonna sit around her knowing what she did and be okay?
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: With it because it caused you some major hurting pain.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Not a blessing of it is you discovered that your
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: man really wasn't all of that, and God and gave
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you a new man, so now don't blow it. And
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: this wasn't better because he your feet, I'll say the
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: other one was just your boyfriend. You got a new
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: love in your life, and you got rid of two
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: people who really weren't good and healthy for your life.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: So you got rid of two people that wasn't that.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: That doesn't mean you'll never have another good girlfriend, and
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: that doesn't mean you'll never have another man, because you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: got the man, period. But I would forgive her. Tell
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: a look, I love you, I forgive what you did,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: and we cool. Girl, Can we go get something to drink?
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: I'm busy, never girl, You forgave me, but you always busy.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I stayed busy us your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and hey,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: can we go to check out I'm out of sanitizing.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Hon demand coming up in forty six minutes after the hour,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Our girl from the Talk, the one in them, the
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood, will be right here right after this you're
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: It's Carla's Reality Update. But right now, Steve, please introduce
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: our girl from the Top, Girl Underwood. Y'all, thank you,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. And you know what, we got hashtag along together.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: We need that social distancing. We gotta get handle on this.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Stop listening to what the presidents say. You know he
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: don't know what he's talking about. So I gonna be
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: talking about We already know what's happening on Easter. I'm
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: gonna cut my outfit on, and then I'm gonna walk
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to the living room. I'm gonna have a sermon on
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: the couch. I'm gonna be with God. It's gonna be
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: in the morning, earlier the morning, like the Gap band,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: because I know I can serve the Lord of the house.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: But don't listen to him. We got to be alone together,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: hashtag along together. See and says, y'all don't understand the
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: regular voice and words and annunciation saying let me say it,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: how black people understand stay a ass at home? You
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: know you said say Did I say it right? They
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: would listen to that. So I have done my public
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: service announcement stay in the house if that will stop
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: the spread of the virus. You can call people, you
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: can check on people, but you need to be hashtack
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: alone together. We need to spread the word and we
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: need people stay home. Watch all the good black movies,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: keep listening to all Black Radio as Vasili Steve Harvard
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Morning Show, and I'm gonna need y'all to really, really,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: really really really understand Black newspaper is your way to
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: get your news. So we're gonna just push that out there.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Black Radio Solidarity hashtag along together. Now back to our
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: regularly scheduled discussion. Julian, what's going on with you? And Shirley?
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: What's happening? H Wait a minute, Okay, listen to me.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I know side piece of action. When I see what
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to do it like a woman to
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: woman problem. Shirley, have you ever been in love? Then
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: you know how I feel. Get off Junior, Shirley, that's
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: not fucking Wait a minute, Shirley, man of the same
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: time last week time. What I know, Shirley, it's married
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and she's an awesome individual, but the pull of Junior
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: is strong. Let me tell you something. It's gonna be
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: just like Eachel and his wife. Me and Junior is
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: gonna be quarantine together. I will bunch of coronavirus in
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: the face. But Junior, you bet not nobody, Junior, don't
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: let me. Don't let me here. You're messing with anybody,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: and it best not be no trick at your house
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: named coronavirus. I will fight up, Thank you, Charyon under
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Julia has take a loan together with Junior. Come Cola's
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: reality up there. That's at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Tommy, let's get it,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: let's get it, let's get it. It's that time. It's
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: called Farrell with what reality update? All right, thank you, nephew.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I'm rubbing my hands together. All right. Real Housewives of Atlanta,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: who chat? So listen. The girls are still on their
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: trips in Greece. You know, they went to Greece talk
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: about Greek tragedy. Child. It was a mess. So Nini
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: and Kenya got into an argument. Now it it looked
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: like to me that Ninie was about to spit on Kenya,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: but she was eating popcorn, and I guess she made
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: a gesture of like trying to spit the popcorn colonels
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: out either way, Come on, Tommy, either way, the gesture,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: the popcornbility, the possibility it's own if you even gesture that, right, right,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: it's about to pop off. Yeah. So anyway, the girls
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: try to calm Ninie down, calm everything down, and Kenya
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: basically told Ninie that she was mad at her because
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: she called her child a buffalo. Now this was back
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: last season when Kenya was pregnant with her daughter, um Brooklyn.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: But Nini said she didn't say that, but you know,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: they rolled to take back and even said it, and
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Kenya was right, and then Nini was like, she didn't
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: mean to insult the child, So she apologized for that,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: and Nini said, you know I don't do that, meaning
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: I don't insult children. Anyway, Kenya was over it. And
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: then here comes Marlowe saying to Kenya that you need
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: to apologize to me for crashing my wig launch party.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: And then Kenya was like, no, that was payback from
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: last season when you talked about my mother, and you
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: know you can't talk about nobody's mama. You know you're
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: gonna get some drama that would you say, Tommy, ken
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Kenya's hold onto things, and then you know, she tries
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: to get them back, and you know, got an idea
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: something nobody's never considered. Why don't they all quit being friends.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: They got the real paying each other back and trying
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: to spend on each other and all that. Right, just
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: give it a shot. Yeah, yeah, that's that's a good suggestion, Steve.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: So anyway, Junior Kenya, you know, she had like a
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: rocky relationship with her mom anyway, so that's a very
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: very sensitive subject, right surely with Kenya. Anyway, Kenya tried
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: to leave. She was over all of this, and she
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: pushed Candy out the way. Candy was like, well, come back,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: and she was like no. Next day, Candy said, let's
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: do some team building games. Okay, after all of that, right,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: for your suggestions, Steve, we're gonna do team building. We're
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: gonna do trust trust. Yeah, and these trust exercises. They
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: did it on the beach and it looked, you know,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: it really looked like they had a good time. They
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: were having fun. And then finally, you know, the ladies
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: playing to dinner and Candy and Cynthia they were gonna
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: do role play. So they were going to one what's
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: gonna play any and one was gonna play Kenya. So
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: they're really trying to get these girls back together. Nini
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: did not want to see it. She wasn't trying to
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: hear it. She said, I'm going to the ladies room,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: and the ladies were like, well, this is not gonna happen.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: This is a bus and so um. They all went
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: back to their room. They said, we're going to pack
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: our bags to go home. So that was the end
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: of that particular episode. So that's that real household. So
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: hit me up at lips by Carla on social media
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: on the Gram and tell me if you're on team
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Nini or Team Kenyan. Who you got Team Nini. I'm
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: not with either one of them, both both of them.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: It's just straight foolishness. It's not your look. If you're
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: not cool with somebody, then don't be cool with them.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Why are we going to grease right way across the world.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: We still ain't We wasn't cool for we got on
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: this play. What are we over here for? Way over
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: here for you to spit popcorn over? Yeah? Come on,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: we were cooling in Atlanta. The name of the show
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: is How Housewives of Atlanta. We could have done all
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: this spitten buck up at Crumbling moll He let me
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: tell well, let me tell you. This guy's hip hop.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I love hip hop. Atlanta's back. So next week, Steve,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about Stevie J, Scrappy Me Me Machine D. Yeah,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: they're back. So all of that we'll be back at
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour you're listening to the Steve
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, Bill Cosby, the lawyers are seeking early

- 1:17:59Speaker 1: saying the idea, idea that someone like myself is going
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: to be paid to say I have coronavirus. That's like
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: absolute bs, absolute bull sugar, honey iced tea. That's what
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Edre said. Cardie B also called out celebrities for getting
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: tested in a time of mass shortages of coronavirus tests.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Take a listen. If a celebrity is saying, hey, listen,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: I don't have no symptoms. I'm feeling good, I feel healthy,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I don't feel like nothing. But I went and got
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: tested and I'm positive for the coronavirus. That caused confusion
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: that made people be like, well, wait a minute, now,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I don't have no symptoms, but I know I went
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: out this and that day I might just have it.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I'm scared because I'm around my kid, I'm around my grandparents.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: What should I do? Oh? You cannot you have it? Yeah?
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I mean, look, hey man, I've been tested, you know,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: but I got I'm around a lot of people. I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: was doing family feud, I'm eating families every day, and
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: you don't have to have symptoms. Everybody eventually should get tested,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: and celebrities are people too, So yeah, I mean, you know, like, oh, Winton.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Winton just came back from Dubai about five days ago.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: He was in Dubai. So guess what. Winton had to
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: get tested and he just got his results back that
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: he was negative yesterday. So he came over coming up
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: our last break of the day. It's the last break
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: off the day. To wait for it and of close.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour right after this,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Show. All right, Steve, here we
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: are last break of the day, and uh that's we're
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: gonna do it again. No, I don't want to do
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: it nor more. Okay, you know I'm wish you washed
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: your ship. You see why you were feeling the most difficulty.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: You know, I'm real sometimy with it. All right, Well
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: this is something you're not some timing with him. That's
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: the closing remarks. Well, let's get after it. You know,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: in this in this time that we're all in, I'm
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: trying to spend more time being uplifting and encouraging the
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: people because I hear too many people viewing this thing
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: in a negative way. Okay, here's a deal. Nobody can
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: get out. You're not the only one that's that's inside.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: You're not the only one that that can't go anywhere.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: None of us can go anywhere. We can't. Now, you
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: can go, get in your car, take a drive, you know,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: stuff like that, but you gotta come back home. You
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you know, you can go to grocery store, you know,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: but the other places you can go, you don't really
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: want to go. You don't really want to go to
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: the hospital. So you know, listen, I think if we,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you know, have more fun with this thing, and not
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: not that this is a fun situation, but let's look
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: at the humorous side of it oftentimes, and I don't
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: have one for you, but I mean, oh my goodness, man,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: let's come on, y'all. Let's let's let's not write ourselves
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: off as as just doomed. Where's your faith, where's your
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: willingness to find something in this moment of adversity, because
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: there's going to be something when all of this passes,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: and it will pass. This is not the end of
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: the world. When all of this is over, You're gonna
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: have to stand somewhere with yourself and try to make
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: try to come to some understanding. You're gonna have to
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: come to grips with what has happened. Okay, so we
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: lost some income. Who hasn't Uh, some people are out
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: of work right now. Most of us have been through that.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: You've had to refrain from going out. That's happening to everybody.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: But at the same time, haven't you discovered a few things?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Isn't there some type of upside to this? There are
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: some families who are going to get closer because of this. Now,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: some families gonna break up because it is because they're
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: gonna sit there and wallow in the misery of it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But man, try to turn some of this positive. Do something. Man,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: start start looking for family time, family games, break out
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: them games. Man, y'all got you. We got to get
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: through this because guess what, none of us can go anywhere.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: But this is gonna pass, y'all. And when it pass,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: everybody gonna be out and you're gonna see people. Man, Hey,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: how you doing great? Great? Still gonna have to practice
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: some type of social distancing, I'm sure, but but we're
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: gonna be okay. You are going to be fine. And
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: being fine starts with the belief that you will be fine.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: You cannot see this thing as on misery because every
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: time you proclaim the misery, then guess what you attract
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: the misery. Why don't you start proclaiming the good. There's
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: some good moments in there, Hey, man, get on YouTube.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: It's some funny stuff happening out there. It's some people
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: laughing through there's some people posting videos. If you can't
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: find no happiness in your home yourself, look online, man,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: there's people cracking jokes, making light of it, getting through it.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: It's people doing all types of things. Dj Nice is
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: on every day for five hours. Go to the club
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: with him, party with him. Shack been doing stuff online,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: all these people. That's it's. It's out there, people trying
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: to engage and and and and and get you through
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: it and teach your stuff. Come on, y'all, it's not
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: the end of the world. God been good to us.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: You don't remember any of that. All you got to
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: do is remember all the things in your past that
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: God has brought you through. Think about it. Do you
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: know how much stuff God has brought you through? Are
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you kidding me? Do you know what you've actually gotten
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: to the other side of and you didn't even know it?
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Do you hear me? Man? So what would make you
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: think you ain't gonna get through this? Is it difficult? Yeah?
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Is it troubling yeah? Is it disheartening yeah? Is it
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: hard to deal with? Yes? Will you get through it? Yep? Yeah?
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: Should you try to find some positive in all of this? Yep?
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Because guess what? Suppose they extend this lockdown past two weeks,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: past thirty days. Suppose they do that. What's gonna be
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: your attitude when that news come down? Because we don't know.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I mean, I think all of us want this to
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: be over. I'm pretty sure we do. I think everybody.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I don't know a person going, Man, this is cool?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: It's this ever been. I've only heard one people say that.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Then she on the radio show on the side. Other
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: than that, most people want this to be over. But
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: she don't want the sickness. She just don't mind. She's
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: got the best attitude I've seen Mississippi. Monica told me
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: and us on the radio show. She cool with this.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: She ain't got to go nowhere. She and her house.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: She know how to enjoy herself. Man, find out what's
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: cool about you? Go and be cool with you. Man,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: there are a lot of people man, that really need
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: to get in touch with themselves and find out what's
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: cool about them so they can be all right with themselves.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: That would help a lot of people. See, I didn't
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: found a way to sit still, be quiet, enjoy my time,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: walk around. I've been walking around in the backyard in
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: circles for almost two weeks. Now, it's okay. Then I
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: come in in walk around in circles. Then I go upstairs,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: go downstairs. I go in there, man, drank some tea.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: I go in there and make something to eat. I
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: go over there and drank some old water. I'm actually
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I'm actually rehydrating myself during this time. I'm drinking one
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: hundred ounces of water to day. Why there, ain't got
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: none to do but want a good for you. I
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: might come out of this thing with the health benefit,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: But you gotta change your attitude, man, you gotta find
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: a bright side in this cheer up. You're not the
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: only one that's on lockdown. All of us is on lockdown.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: It's just some of us is having it better than others.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks, just trying to be enlightening
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: to y'all. Y'all have a great weekend with getting close
