Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you and Senator we have got a lot to talk about,
- 0:06Speaker 2: including later in the show, we are going to get
- 0:08Speaker 2: a live on the ground update from Israel of what's
- 0:12Speaker 2: happening in Israel right now, something very important that I
- 0:15Speaker 2: want to point out, so make sure you stick around
- 0:17Speaker 2: for that. Also, before we get to that, there was
- 0:19Speaker 2: a shocking news story that came out and I'm still
- 0:24Speaker 2: trying to get my head around at Centator terrasts that
- 0:26Speaker 2: have been caught illegally crossing the border in this country
- 0:31Speaker 2: were released and allowed to roam free for nearly a
- 0:34Speaker 2: year because apparently we don't have time to check backgrounds
- 0:38Speaker 2: of terrists that we are allowing to go free in
- 0:41Speaker 2: this country. And the Biden Administration's like, oh, yeah, that happens.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And oh, by the way, there's a hell of a
- 0:46Speaker 2: lot of terrorists on the terrorist watch list that are
- 0:48Speaker 2: being caught now every single month in this country.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Well that's exactly right. I've said a number of times
- 0:56Speaker 3: that I believe the risks of a major terrorist attack
- 1:00Speaker 3: right now are greater than they have been at any
- 1:03Speaker 3: time since September eleventh, and this story that broke this
- 1:07Speaker 3: week is further underscores that. So the story that broke
- 1:11Speaker 3: was an internal federal memo that indicated that a terrorist
- 1:17Speaker 3: was apprehended by the Biden administration at the southern border
- 1:21Speaker 3: and they released him into the country. They released him
- 1:23Speaker 3: into the country for a year. And this individual, who
- 1:26Speaker 3: was a member of the Somali terror group Al Shabab,
- 1:31Speaker 3: was released shortly after being caught illegally crossing the southern
- 1:36Speaker 3: border near Sanya Cidro, California. And that was on March thirteenth,
- 1:40Speaker 3: twenty twenty three, and the Daily Caller News Foundation published this.
- 1:45Speaker 3: They have a memo from the federal government that's been released,
- 1:49Speaker 3: and the Terrorist Scream Screening Center initially quote deemed him
- 1:54Speaker 3: a mismatch, so in other words, they said, okay, this
- 1:56Speaker 3: is a guy is not a terrorist after running him.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Through the terror watch list.
- 2:01Speaker 3: However, on January eighteenth, twenty twenty four, so just a
- 2:05Speaker 3: few days ago, the Terrorist Screening Center made a redetermination
- 2:10Speaker 3: that the individual was in fact a quote confirmed member
- 2:14Speaker 3: of Al Schebab and was involved in the use, manufacture,
- 2:19Speaker 3: or transport of explosive or firearms. Two days later, Ice
- 2:25Speaker 3: arrested the Al Schebab member in Minneapolis, Minnesota. So understand,
- 2:30Speaker 3: we caught a terrorist and the Biden administration let him go,
- 2:33Speaker 3: and he was in the United States for nearly a year.
- 2:36Speaker 3: And just last year in twenty twenty three. Do you
- 2:40Speaker 3: know how many terror watchless suspects were caught by border
- 2:44Speaker 3: patrol last year?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a number that I know, but I
- 2:48Speaker 2: want you to share it with everybody because it's so shocking.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It should terrify everyone listening the fact that they're doing
- 2:52Speaker 2: this in this country.
- 2:54Speaker 3: One hundred and seventy two now one one hundred and
- 2:57Speaker 3: seventy two last year. By the way, during the Trump administration,
- 3:01Speaker 3: most years, every year was in single digits. There were
- 3:04Speaker 3: numbers like zero two four zero, one hundred and seventy
- 3:09Speaker 3: two last year. Do you know how many were apprehended
- 3:12Speaker 3: in the last three months just October to December.
- 3:16Speaker 2: These numbers are even more terrifying. And I say this
- 3:18Speaker 2: because you're asking the question, and it means that there
- 3:21Speaker 2: is an uptick in terrorist activity of terrorists coming into
- 3:24Speaker 2: this country.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Tell everybody this number fifty.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Five zero five zero and three months and fifty times
- 3:31Speaker 3: four if you have four quarters of a year is
- 3:33Speaker 3: two hundred. That means last year is one seventy two.
- 3:36Speaker 3: We're on a pace to be at two hundred. To
- 3:38Speaker 3: put that in perspective, fifty terrorists on the terror watch
- 3:44Speaker 3: list apprehended on the southern border during just the last
- 3:46Speaker 3: three months. Do you know how many people on the
- 3:49Speaker 3: terror watch list were apprehended in the entirety of the
- 3:52Speaker 3: Trump administration four years? How many thirty so more people
- 3:58Speaker 3: on the terror watch list we're caught at our southern
- 4:01Speaker 3: border in October, November to December than all four years
- 4:05Speaker 3: of the Trump presidency. That's how bad Joe Biden's open
- 4:08Speaker 3: borders are.
- 4:09Speaker 2: You also have to compare it so people understand how
- 4:12Speaker 2: staggering these numbers are. When you have fifty in the
- 4:16Speaker 2: last three months of the year that came in that
- 4:18Speaker 2: were caught, that doesn't count the number of godaways who
- 4:23Speaker 2: are on the terrorist watch list. And to be clear,
- 4:26Speaker 2: the people that are being caught, the fifty that were caught,
- 4:29Speaker 2: they're not walking up to border patrol agents like literally
- 4:32Speaker 2: the millions of people that are coming into this country
- 4:34Speaker 2: in total who are looking to turn themselves in to
- 4:38Speaker 2: government agents because they know they're not going to be
- 4:41Speaker 2: kicked out and they get to stay here.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's the other part is how many have we not caught?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Center If we caught fifty while there's an onslaught at
- 4:49Speaker 2: the border of ten thousand a day.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Now, that is exactly right. The most terrifying number under
- 4:54Speaker 3: the Biden administration is the over two million Godaways. Those
- 4:58Speaker 3: are the people that run that we know crossed in
- 5:01Speaker 3: the border but the Border Patrol did not apprehend. We
- 5:04Speaker 3: have nine point six million, more than nine point six
- 5:07Speaker 3: million that we know of, and the vast majority of them,
- 5:12Speaker 3: seven plus million of them essentially turned themselves into the
- 5:16Speaker 3: Border Patrol. Those are less likely, although to be honest,
- 5:19Speaker 3: the one hundred and seventy two people on the terror
- 5:22Speaker 3: watch lists, some of them are in that group. Many
- 5:24Speaker 3: of them are in the Godaways or they were in
- 5:26Speaker 3: the Godaways and they get apprehended. But the two point
- 5:29Speaker 3: two million, they're much more likely to be criminals, to
- 5:32Speaker 3: be murderers, to be rapists, to be child molesters, to
- 5:35Speaker 3: be gang members, to be an MS thirteen, or to
- 5:38Speaker 3: be terrorists. And understand, the Border Patrol has sent out
- 5:42Speaker 3: written memos direct instruction of Border Patrol agents. When I've
- 5:45Speaker 3: been down on the border. Border patrol agents have told
- 5:48Speaker 3: me they are very, very concerned about Hamas and Hezbela
- 5:53Speaker 3: terrorists crossing the southern border and the risk of an
- 5:57Speaker 3: October seventh style attack here in the United States, and
- 6:01Speaker 3: Joe Biden and the Democrats are increasing our vulnerability to
- 6:05Speaker 3: that every single day.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Let's also put this in a perspective center. And if
- 6:09Speaker 2: my memory serves me correctly, it was nineteen terrorists from
- 6:12Speaker 2: al Qaeda that hijacked those four commercial airplanes.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Nineteen so nineteen people.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Is what it took for nine to eleven to take
- 6:20Speaker 2: place on that Dan and the attack. When you have
- 6:24Speaker 2: one hundred plus terrists that are being caught in the
- 6:27Speaker 2: last year, one hundred and seventy plus and you have
- 6:29Speaker 2: fifty at the end of the year, these numbers are staggering.
- 6:33Speaker 3: And there have been how many hundreds or thousands more
- 6:36Speaker 3: are in the godaways that we do not know about,
- 6:38Speaker 3: that are in place in cities across America and preparing
- 6:42Speaker 3: to commit horrific acts of terrorists.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Well, and that goes back to the warning that we
- 6:46Speaker 2: also learned about that's been very quiet, that we mentioned
- 6:49Speaker 2: on this show.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I think it was several weeks ago.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Now are a terrorist attack they're concerned about that could
- 6:55Speaker 2: mimic the same style of attack that we just witnessed
- 6:58Speaker 2: in Israel.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Now, that's exactly right, and it is at this point,
- 7:04Speaker 3: it's just insane. It is Joe Biden and congressional Democrats
- 7:09Speaker 3: exposing the American people to incredible vulnerability. And you know,
- 7:16Speaker 3: I fear for what's going to happen this year, because
- 7:19Speaker 3: every day our exposure gets greater and greater.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I want to tell you about our friends over at
- 7:23Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile. If you're like me and you're just sick
- 7:26Speaker 2: and tired of giving your moighty to woke companies that
- 7:28Speaker 2: are fighting literally against your family and your family values
- 7:32Speaker 2: and your Christian faith, then one way you can stop
- 7:35Speaker 2: is by stop giving your money to Big Mobile. Patriot Mobile,
- 7:39Speaker 2: for more than a decade now has been America's only
- 7:42Speaker 2: Christian conservative wireless provider. Now, you may say, well, why
- 7:45Speaker 2: does that really matter? It matters because when you pay
- 7:48Speaker 2: your bill and you're at Patriot Mobile, they take five
- 7:51Speaker 2: percent of your bill every month and give it back
- 7:53Speaker 2: to conservative causes that stand up for what you believe in. Now,
- 7:58Speaker 2: not only does that matter, but what really matters is
- 8:00Speaker 2: where your money's going. Right now, If you're with Big Mobile,
- 8:02Speaker 2: you're giving big donations the Democratic Causes candidates and big donations.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Many of them give to Planned Parenthood year after year.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Now when you're with Patriot Mobile, you're sending a clear
- 8:14Speaker 2: message that you support free speech, because that's where your
- 8:16Speaker 2: money's going. To religious freedom, to the sanctity of life,
- 8:20Speaker 2: the Second Amendment, as well as supporting our military, our veterans,
- 8:24Speaker 2: and our first responder heroes in this country. They have
- 8:27Speaker 2: one hundred percent US based customer service team which makes
- 8:31Speaker 2: switching easy. You get to keep your same number you
- 8:34Speaker 2: have now keep your same phone or upgrade. Now, when
- 8:37Speaker 2: I look at my phone, it says Patriot in the
- 8:39Speaker 2: top left corner, and I know that every time I
- 8:42Speaker 2: use that phone, I'm making a difference for what I
- 8:44Speaker 2: believe in. Make the switch nine to seven to two Patriot.
- 8:48Speaker 2: That's nine to seven to Patriot. Use the promo code
- 8:52Speaker 2: Verdict and you'll get free activation as well. Patriotmobile dot
- 8:56Speaker 2: com slash verdict that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict
- 8:59Speaker 2: or nine seven to Patriot. Senator, what is it going
- 9:03Speaker 2: to take for this administration to wake up to these
- 9:05Speaker 2: numbers because this is no longer a conversation or debate
- 9:10Speaker 2: about illegal immigrants under the Biden administration, which yes, has
- 9:13Speaker 2: placed an immense pressure on all of our federal resources.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And we have now many cities that are whining and complaining.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Liberal cities Denver, for examples, freaking out that it's going
- 9:24Speaker 2: to bankrupt them with their budgets because they have so
- 9:26Speaker 2: many illegal immigrants there. But this isn't about that. This
- 9:29Speaker 2: is about national security. This situation is endangering our nation.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It's clear that our safety is depending on enforcing our
- 9:37Speaker 2: immigration laws. Otherwise we get these terrorists on the watch
- 9:41Speaker 2: lists coming into our country and we don't know where
- 9:43Speaker 2: they are.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Look, that's exactly right. And Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and
- 9:47Speaker 3: Chuck Schumer are the congressional Democrats. They want this crisis
- 9:51Speaker 3: to be happening. The nine point six million who've crossed
- 9:54Speaker 3: into this country, they want them to come. How do
- 9:56Speaker 3: I know that? Because Biden could stop it tomorrow if
- 10:00Speaker 3: he wanted to. He does not want to. He looks
- 10:02Speaker 3: at every one of these as future Democrat voters, and
- 10:06Speaker 3: he's willing to accept the risk of terrorism, the risk
- 10:10Speaker 3: of Americans dying in order for Democrats to get a
- 10:14Speaker 3: partisan advantage. And by the way, this is not a
- 10:17Speaker 3: phenomenon limited to our southern border. This Biden White House,
- 10:21Speaker 3: they have a consistent pattern. It's a pattern. Ben Frankly,
- 10:24Speaker 3: I don't understand. They give money to people who hate
- 10:29Speaker 3: us and want to kill us. Joe Biden has flowed
- 10:34Speaker 3: roughly one hundred billion dollars to Iran and Iatola, who
- 10:37Speaker 3: chanced death to America. He's flowed hundreds of millions of
- 10:41Speaker 3: dollars to Gaza that's gone directly to Hamas. And I'll
- 10:46Speaker 3: tell you there was a story that broke the last
- 10:48Speaker 3: week that is really studying, which is the United Nations. Look,
- 10:52Speaker 3: the United Nations is a global institution with massive problems,
- 10:56Speaker 3: massive corruptions, massive anti americanism it has. It is in
- 11:01Speaker 3: a terrible institution. As bad as the UN is. There's
- 11:06Speaker 3: actually an institution even worse than the UN, and that
- 11:10Speaker 3: is a part of the UN that's called UNRA.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Now what is RA.
- 11:15Speaker 3: UNRA is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, and
- 11:19Speaker 3: UNRA is established to focus on Palestinian refugees. And the
- 11:27Speaker 3: problem is UNRA has been a pit of radicalism, of
- 11:34Speaker 3: anti Semitism, of anti Israel, hate, of extremism. And there's
- 11:39Speaker 3: a story that broke this last week that is really studying,
- 11:42Speaker 3: and the Wall Street Journal broke it. A number of
- 11:44Speaker 3: places broke it, which is at least twelve UNRAH employees
- 11:51Speaker 3: were directly involved in the October seventh attack. Understand that.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Let me let me repeat that, because that's a headline
- 11:57Speaker 3: that people go.
- 11:58Speaker 1: What holy crap.
- 12:00Speaker 3: At least twelve employees who worked for the United Nations,
- 12:04Speaker 3: for this subsidiary called UNRA were actively involved in the
- 12:10Speaker 3: October seventh terrorist attack. And yet you know what Joe
- 12:13Speaker 3: Biden has been doing for three years flowing money to
- 12:16Speaker 3: UNRA because he gives money to terrorists who hate America
- 12:20Speaker 3: and hate Israel.
- 12:21Speaker 2: What's even more shocking is there were warnings about UNRA
- 12:24Speaker 2: that have been going on for quite some time. And
- 12:26Speaker 2: I want to play this for everybody. This is not
- 12:29Speaker 2: that long ago. Okay, on December the eleventh, So do
- 12:33Speaker 2: the math here. December the eleventh, What happened before December
- 12:36Speaker 2: the eleventh of twenty twenty three was the attack on Israel.
- 12:40Speaker 2: On December the eleventh, the twenty twenty three, the Biden
- 12:43Speaker 2: State Department spokesman Matt Miller was question about this type
- 12:49Speaker 2: of radicalism from UNRA, and he defended UNRA and said
- 12:54Speaker 2: they were doing vitally important work for those on the ground.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Listen to this carefully. This is at the State Department.
- 13:03Speaker 4: In light of a recent Jerusalem Post report about a
- 13:06Speaker 4: UN agency EUNRA school teacher in Gaza holding a hostage
- 13:10Speaker 4: captive in an UNRA school, as well as a teachers
- 13:13Speaker 4: at UNRA schools in Gaza praising the attacks on social
- 13:16Speaker 4: media with ties between Hamas terrists and the agency's schools.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Is President Biden now willing to defund this terrorist un
- 13:24Speaker 4: organization UNRA? And I have a follow up.
- 13:26Speaker 5: So I would just say with respect to that first report,
- 13:28Speaker 5: we saw that report, we sought information from UNRAH about it.
- 13:30Speaker 5: I would add to our knowledge that report has never
- 13:34Speaker 5: been verified. Certainly, if that were the case, we would
- 13:36Speaker 5: expect accountability for the individual involved. But I do want
- 13:40Speaker 5: to speak about UNRA specifically UNRAH. UNRA is providing life
- 13:44Speaker 5: saving work for Palestinians right now under very difficult circumstances.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Can we just hit pause there, We'll continue the second apartment.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I got to get your reaction to that center I mean,
- 13:54Speaker 2: not only is the State Department now defending terrorists, they're
- 13:59Speaker 2: saying that the terrorists are doing great work.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Look, I gotta say, I'm just annoyed at listening to
- 14:05Speaker 3: that White House hat go UNRA like he pronounces it
- 14:10Speaker 3: almost like he's singing like a love poem. UNRA, they
- 14:15Speaker 3: do life saving work. Look, the report that has just
- 14:20Speaker 3: come out is that ten percent of unra's staff, it's
- 14:27Speaker 3: Gaza staff, have ties to Hamas and Islamic militant groups
- 14:33Speaker 3: ten percent. So you've got the un funding Hamas terrorists.
- 14:38Speaker 3: And mind you, these are people who participated in October seventh.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And you know where UNRA gets their money from. Joe Biden,
- 14:45Speaker 3: Donald Trump cut off the money for UNRA. By the way,
- 14:48Speaker 3: I've advocated cut UNRA off. They're a pit of anti Semitism,
- 14:51Speaker 3: anti America, anti Israel, hatred terrorism. What did Joe Biden
- 14:58Speaker 3: do when he came in back into office, Key, he said,
- 15:00Speaker 3: all right, let's give money to the people who hate us.
- 15:03Speaker 3: And I will say Biden, in the face of this
- 15:08Speaker 3: shocking report, was forced to temporarily pause funding for UNRUH.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Temporarily, by the way, But listen, let's go back to December.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I want to finish this so that people can hear
- 15:19Speaker 2: how much they were defending the terrorists and their great
- 15:21Speaker 2: work that they were doing on the ground. I'm going
- 15:23Speaker 2: to back up about ten seconds so you hear the context.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Listen to our knowledge that report has never been verified. Certainly,
- 15:29Speaker 5: if that were the case, we would expect accountability for
- 15:32Speaker 5: the individual involved. But I do want to speak about
- 15:35Speaker 5: UNRA specifically. UNRA is providing life saving work for Palestinians
- 15:40Speaker 5: right now under very difficult circumstances. We've seen I think
- 15:44Speaker 5: it's more than one hundred unrestaff killed during this conflict
- 15:48Speaker 5: while they are out trying to get food and water
- 15:51Speaker 5: and medicine to the Palestinian people. The work that they
- 15:54Speaker 5: are doing is essential, is saving lives. The United States
- 15:59Speaker 5: continues to be the largest donor of humanitarian access to
- 16:02Speaker 5: the Palestinian people. We continue to support UNROUGH for the
- 16:07Speaker 5: work that it's doing and will continue to do it
- 16:09Speaker 5: because they are I will say, as I said a
- 16:11Speaker 5: moment ago, actually there on the front lines, under staff
- 16:16Speaker 5: putting their lives at risk to get food, water, medicine
- 16:19Speaker 5: to children, to babies, to civilians. So we absolutely support
- 16:23Speaker 5: the work that they're doing well.
- 16:24Speaker 3: One of the things that the White House there said
- 16:26Speaker 3: that was accurate is UNRAS on the front lines. Yes,
- 16:30Speaker 3: you're right, they're on the front lines with Hamas engaged
- 16:34Speaker 3: in terrorism. And it is stunning that the Biden administration
- 16:38Speaker 3: was happy to fund them. This was known for a
- 16:42Speaker 3: long time that they spread anti Semitism, that they were vicious,
- 16:46Speaker 3: that they hire Hamas sympathizers, and yet this Biden white
- 16:50Speaker 3: House is willing to give them money. Right now. The
- 16:54Speaker 3: report is so stunning they paused it. But let's be
- 16:57Speaker 3: absolutely clear. This Biden white House wants to resume funding
- 17:00Speaker 3: to UNRUH as soon as a little bit of time passes,
- 17:03Speaker 3: and they could say, oh, we got rid of a
- 17:05Speaker 3: few bad apples, let's keep giving them money.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Inflation is heavily eroding. You're purchasing power. We talk about
- 17:12Speaker 2: the economy a lot and putting your savings, your retirement accounts,
- 17:15Speaker 2: and your future legacy at real risk. You may not realize,
- 17:19Speaker 2: but UBS just came out with a prediction gold prices
- 17:22Speaker 2: will rise ten percent and twenty twenty four amid the
- 17:24Speaker 2: Fed policy changes. So with more taxes, that continuous threat
- 17:28Speaker 2: now of war, a national debt exceeding thirty four trillion
- 17:32Speaker 2: and the push for central bank digital currencies. Our financial
- 17:35Speaker 2: freedom is at stake. If you have fifty thousand dollars
- 17:38Speaker 2: or more in retirement savings, you may be at risk
- 17:41Speaker 2: in times of economic uncertainty. Securing your family's financial future
- 17:45Speaker 2: is essential, and Freedom Gold USA is here to empower you.

- 18:41Speaker 1: Senator one.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Other questions I want to ask you about this, this
- 18:44Speaker 2: story that comes out. I love how this administration refused
- 18:48Speaker 2: to admit that this story on UNRO was real because
- 18:51Speaker 2: it was reported in the Jerusalem Post and they immediately
- 18:54Speaker 2: discredit for like, oh, well we don't we don't count
- 18:57Speaker 2: that as as being a publication that we'll listen to.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And you noticed how he shot back so hard. He's like, well,
- 19:02Speaker 2: this hasn't been verified. We now find out all these
- 19:05Speaker 2: other countries are pulling out their funding from UNRA as
- 19:08Speaker 2: well because the information is so damning, and it was
- 19:12Speaker 2: damning in December. They just refused to look at it
- 19:15Speaker 2: in December.
- 19:17Speaker 3: No, that's exactly right. When the United States halted funding,
- 19:21Speaker 3: we saw countries throughout Europe do so as well. Germany
- 19:25Speaker 3: halted funding, the United Kingdom halted funding, Finland halted funding,
- 19:29Speaker 3: Australia halted funding, Canada halted funding, Italy halted funding, the
- 19:33Speaker 3: Netherlands and Switzerland halted funding. So it was at that
- 19:38Speaker 3: point unavoidable. But listen, many of those countries, particularly the
- 19:42Speaker 3: European countries, have long been willing to stand with the
- 19:46Speaker 3: Palestinians against Israel, and it says something that the Biden
- 19:50Speaker 3: administration is not willing to lead, and they will only
- 19:54Speaker 3: stop giving money to people supporting terrorism when the pressure
- 19:59Speaker 3: become unbearable.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Senator, you and I have talked so much about what
- 20:04Speaker 2: is happening in Israel, and look, there's a lot of
- 20:07Speaker 2: other issues that obviously are happening in the news, other
- 20:09Speaker 2: things that are happening in this administration and policies in Iran.
- 20:14Speaker 2: But I do want to pause and you and I
- 20:16Speaker 2: talked about this and go back joining us now as
- 20:18Speaker 2: a guest. Yeall ex Stein is the president and the
- 20:21Speaker 2: CEO of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, doing
- 20:25Speaker 2: amazing work on the ground, especially with those that were
- 20:29Speaker 2: affected by the horrific attacks in Israel. First of all,
- 20:32Speaker 2: thank you for coming on. We really appreciate it and
- 20:35Speaker 2: the work you're doing. You're in Israel right now.
- 20:37Speaker 6: Correct, Thank you so much for having me.
- 20:39Speaker 3: What and honor, Yeah, welcome, We're very glad to have
- 20:43Speaker 3: you on Verdict. And tell us where in Israel are
- 20:46Speaker 3: we talking to you?
- 20:48Speaker 6: So I'm in central northern Israel, where we've had a
- 20:50Speaker 6: few rockets from US come in. I've been in the bombshilter,
- 20:55Speaker 6: both with my children and also with different senators from America.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Governor Kakabi I was in the bomb shelter with him
- 21:01Speaker 6: in Tel Aviv, And the biggest threat right now in
- 21:04Speaker 6: Northern Nidral is actually Frezvalah, which would make the war
- 21:08Speaker 6: like come with Kamas feel like something small. So here
- 21:14Speaker 6: in Northern Nidril we're very on edge that a huge
- 21:18Speaker 6: figure war with the Hazalah would break out, which would
- 21:21Speaker 6: see around one hundred and fifty thousand rockets on tiny Israel.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Tell us what is the spirit, what is the morale
- 21:29Speaker 3: that people are feeling in Israel? With obviously in the
- 21:32Speaker 3: wake of October seventh and the horrors that unfolded then
- 21:35Speaker 3: and now several months of active warfare, how are people
- 21:40Speaker 3: doing on the ground in Israel.
- 21:42Speaker 6: Israel is resilient. Israel has always been resilient. We've never
- 21:46Speaker 6: lost sight that. Since nineteen forty eight, we've been in
- 21:48Speaker 6: a fight for our survival and there's no other country
- 21:52Speaker 6: to go to. There are twenty two Arab states with
- 21:54Speaker 6: the population of four hundred and forty million people living there,
- 21:58Speaker 6: and there's one Jewish population around seven point five million Jews.
- 22:03Speaker 6: So no one in Israel has lost sight of that,
- 22:05Speaker 6: and we are all unified and resilient and finding moments
- 22:09Speaker 6: of hope and moments of moments of peace and comfort
- 22:13Speaker 6: as well, that we're together and that God is with us,
- 22:16Speaker 6: and that we see how there are hundreds of millions
- 22:19Speaker 6: of mostly Christian friends around the world who are standing
- 22:22Speaker 6: with us as well. I just saw an estimate that
- 22:24Speaker 6: there's around seven hundred million Christians around the world who
- 22:28Speaker 6: are praying for Israel. So I think what's in a
- 22:31Speaker 6: way most difficult for Israel right now and the people
- 22:35Speaker 6: is to see how anti Semitism is rising again, to
- 22:38Speaker 6: see how once again the world is questioning if the
- 22:44Speaker 6: Jewish people should have a right to exist being okay
- 22:47Speaker 6: with Israel and the Jewish people's annihilation. So I want
- 22:50Speaker 6: to start off by saying thank you to you. In
- 22:53Speaker 6: a world that is lacking such moral clarity. You, since
- 22:57Speaker 6: October seventh and before have been proveding such a moral
- 23:01Speaker 6: compass to all of your listeners, all of your followers,
- 23:03Speaker 6: which especially day so unique and sacred and what everyone
- 23:07Speaker 6: here in Israel is just appreciative for.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Well, yeah, y oh, thank you. I will tell you
- 23:13Speaker 3: we are proud to stand with the people of Israel.
- 23:17Speaker 3: October seventh made clear to the world, to anyone paying attention,
- 23:21Speaker 3: that this is a battle between civilization and barbarism, and
- 23:25Speaker 3: this is Israel standing against the face of evil. And
- 23:29Speaker 3: I'll tell you, Heidi and I our family, we are
- 23:32Speaker 3: praying for the people of Israel. The people of America
- 23:34Speaker 3: stand with you. And as horrific as what happened on
- 23:40Speaker 3: October seventh was, I believe there are at least two
- 23:44Speaker 3: good things that will come of this. Number One, Israel
- 23:48Speaker 3: stated commitment to utterly eliminate Hamas if and when that happens,
- 23:54Speaker 3: and I think we've made real and meaningful progress towards that.
- 23:57Speaker 3: That is a very very good thing for Israel. That
- 24:00Speaker 3: is a very very good thing for America because Hamas
- 24:03Speaker 3: hates Israel and hates America and they want to murder
- 24:06Speaker 3: us both. And secondly, you referenced anti Semitism. I think
- 24:11Speaker 3: one of the things October seventh.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Did is it laid bare.
- 24:14Speaker 3: It exposed the vicious anti semitism we see globally but tragically,
- 24:21Speaker 3: especially in US universities. And listen, I believe that anti
- 24:24Speaker 3: Semitism was there on October sixth. I don't think that
- 24:27Speaker 3: was newly created. But what happened on October seventh exposed it,
- 24:32Speaker 3: and I think shining a sunlight on it is a
- 24:36Speaker 3: key step to eliminating it.
- 24:38Speaker 4: And so.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Know that despite the viciousness, you're seeing that millions and
- 24:44Speaker 3: millions of Americans and people across the world stand with
- 24:48Speaker 3: the people of Israel.
- 24:49Speaker 6: It's incredible, it's so inspiring. I read the words of
- 24:52Speaker 6: Isaiah five, for example, and says in the last of days,
- 24:56Speaker 6: good will be evil, and evil will be called good.
- 24:59Speaker 6: And I see how in the beginning of the war
- 25:02Speaker 6: in October eighth, people were debating if fromas beheaded babies
- 25:05Speaker 6: or just peacefully burned them alive. And then it took
- 25:08Speaker 6: less than one minute it TOAs bread the lie that
- 25:10Speaker 6: Israel bomb the hospital, which ended up in the Samas rocket.
- 25:13Speaker 6: But there is so much hatred towards the Jewish people,
- 25:17Speaker 6: there's so much anti Semitism. What I see, Senator Cruiz
- 25:20Speaker 6: is exactly what you're saying, that this isn't nineteen thirty
- 25:23Speaker 6: eight today, it's a different reality because we have the
- 25:27Speaker 6: State of Israel which is able to protect the Jewish people,
- 25:30Speaker 6: and we have millions of Christians around the world who
- 25:33Speaker 6: stand with us. And that's exactly the message of the Fellowship.
- 25:37Speaker 6: You know, we've all learned about the righteous gentiles during
- 25:40Speaker 6: the Holocaust. We've learned about the Corey Tamboons and Oscar
- 25:43Speaker 6: Shimmler's and there's even a forest in Jerusalem that's planted
- 25:46Speaker 6: outside of the Yaddashian for the righteous gentiles. And what
- 25:49Speaker 6: I see today is if we had to plant a
- 25:51Speaker 6: tree for every righteous gentile who's dancing with Israel, to
- 25:55Speaker 6: cover an entire continent with trees. And so what I
- 25:58Speaker 6: represent on the ground here in Israel is millions of
- 26:01Speaker 6: Christians who are feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, who
- 26:04Speaker 6: are not political at all, but are standing with the
- 26:07Speaker 6: biblical words of the Bible. Naha uai comfort you, comfort
- 26:12Speaker 6: enite people by bringing food to Holocaust survivors and their
- 26:15Speaker 6: bomb shelters and providing bulletproof ambulances. And that is the
- 26:21Speaker 6: difference today between twenty twenty four and nineteen thirty eight,
- 26:25Speaker 6: and it's significant.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I want to ask amen, Amen, absolutely, I
- 26:30Speaker 2: want to ask you and inform the vertical listeners because
- 26:34Speaker 2: there's so many listeners to show that. Ask Center Cruz
- 26:37Speaker 2: when he's traveling and myself, they ask the same question,
- 26:40Speaker 2: what can we do to get involved. Talk a little
- 26:43Speaker 2: bit about what the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews does.
- 26:46Speaker 2: The mission you mentioned and this is something that I
- 26:49Speaker 2: learned from you when we got to sit down and
- 26:52Speaker 2: break bread, is that there are these, for example, the
- 26:55Speaker 2: ambulances that they need, not just ambulances, but bulletproof ambulances.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And these are some of the resources that you guys
- 27:02Speaker 2: are helping with those on the ground that desperately need
- 27:05Speaker 2: these life saving not just care, but also the meals
- 27:08Speaker 2: and everything else.
- 27:09Speaker 6: Thank you so much so. The International Fellowship of Christians
- 27:12Speaker 6: and Jews is the largest philanthropic organization in Israel, and
- 27:16Speaker 6: we represent the Christian community on the ground in the
- 27:18Speaker 6: Holy Land. We have three different areas that we focus on.
- 27:23Speaker 6: One is Aliak, bringing Jews from at risk countries home
- 27:26Speaker 6: to Israel and the vision of the Bible, and that's
- 27:29Speaker 6: actually continued since October seventh. Almost every day we've had
- 27:33Speaker 6: people landing in Israel from Ukraine, from the Arab world,
- 27:36Speaker 6: different places where they're persecuted. The second is focusing on
- 27:40Speaker 6: poverty and welfare, where we provide food and meals and
- 27:43Speaker 6: all the basic needs to people who are hungry and hurting.
- 27:48Speaker 6: And the third is security. And so on October seventh,
- 27:51Speaker 6: we were already prepared on the ground. We already provided
- 27:55Speaker 6: over five five hundred bomb shelters on the ground in Israel.
- 27:59Speaker 6: We are ready to wow at bulletproof best. We already
- 28:02Speaker 6: distributed bulletproof ambulances. We already in Barzilai Hospital which got
- 28:07Speaker 6: four direct rocket attacks, we already protected their labor and
- 28:10Speaker 6: delivery and nicky unit that's completely fortified, so that they
- 28:14Speaker 6: were protected. And to October seventh, we were already, we
- 28:18Speaker 6: were already mobilized. We already had the connections with all
- 28:22Speaker 6: of the security officials, with all of the welfare officials.
- 28:25Speaker 6: And what happened on October seventh was that suddenly the
- 28:28Speaker 6: people who are normally there to provide aid became the victims.
- 28:33Speaker 6: We had a head of social work, head social worker
- 28:36Speaker 6: in southern Israel who was kidnapped. We were calling her
- 28:39Speaker 6: to say, what do you need, how can we help?
- 28:40Speaker 6: She was in Agaza, she was kidnapped by the Kamas terrorists.
- 28:44Speaker 6: We had heads of cities who their children were murdered.
- 28:48Speaker 6: And so the Fellowship moved in on October seventh to say,
- 28:51Speaker 6: until the local national government is able to get together
- 28:55Speaker 6: to care for the systems. We're here, We're on the
- 28:58Speaker 6: ground in Steiroath. As there were terrorist roaming, going shelter
- 29:02Speaker 6: to shelter bringing food. As the first responders were going
- 29:05Speaker 6: down south to fight the terrorists, the Fellowship was there
- 29:08Speaker 6: providing thousands of bulip Who's helmets and flat jackets. Because,
- 29:16Speaker 6: simply put, Israel wasn't prepared for October seventh. It took
- 29:18Speaker 6: us by surprise. And so the fact that the Fellowship
- 29:21Speaker 6: has been there on the ground providing security for over
- 29:25Speaker 6: fifteen years, we were able to mobilize on October seventh
- 29:28Speaker 6: and we haven't backed since.
- 29:31Speaker 2: What are the needs right now for specifically people in
- 29:34Speaker 2: the US that do want to get involved and want
- 29:36Speaker 2: to help, and how can they get involved in help?
- 29:39Speaker 6: Well, one of the biggest needs right now is actually
- 29:41Speaker 6: for food and basic needs for those who are evacuated,
- 29:44Speaker 6: people who haven't had a business, people who haven't had jobs,
- 29:47Speaker 6: many of them for over four months. We have reserve
- 29:50Speaker 6: soldiers who are called up four months ago, who have
- 29:53Speaker 6: barely come home, who haven't been able to work, and
- 29:55Speaker 6: those families, many of them were poor before October seventh,
- 29:59Speaker 6: and so one of the just needs that we're seeing
- 30:01Speaker 6: is really for the basics, to bring food to the
- 30:04Speaker 6: families whose husbands are in reserve duty, who are poured
- 30:07Speaker 6: before the war and now are desperate to the evacuees,
- 30:11Speaker 6: to the Holocaust survivors. I was in Sterot just a
- 30:14Speaker 6: few a week and a half ago. Scaut is a
- 30:17Speaker 6: city on the border with Gaza that was evacuated right
- 30:22Speaker 6: after October seventh, almost four months ago, and there are
- 30:24Speaker 6: five hundred elderly over eight years old who they said,
- 30:28Speaker 6: we would rather stay here and die in our homes
- 30:30Speaker 6: than live again as refugees. Most of them are Holocaust survivors.
- 30:34Speaker 6: And so there's no gross restores opened, there's no infrastructure there,
- 30:39Speaker 6: and so it's the fellowship who's they're providing food to
- 30:42Speaker 6: these elderly in the evacuated war torn city of Stereot.
- 30:46Speaker 6: So right now it's the basics, which means we're not
- 30:49Speaker 6: looking for millions of dollars, we're not looking for huge donations.
- 30:53Speaker 6: Twenty five dollars provides a food box to one of
- 30:56Speaker 6: those elderly in Steros.
- 30:59Speaker 2: It's incredible the work that you guys are doing. Where
- 31:01Speaker 2: can people find out more specifically online?
- 31:04Speaker 6: So online you could go to our website www. Dot
- 31:08Speaker 6: ISCJ dot org and get all the information there. And
- 31:13Speaker 6: I'm veridicated to showing on a day to day basis
- 31:16Speaker 6: what the Fellowship is doing. So you can follow me

- 31:24Speaker 6: and get day to day, real time updates on the
- 31:26Speaker 6: donations are saving lives.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Well, yeah, Welle, thank you so much for joining us,
- 31:30Speaker 3: and thank you for all that you are doing, and
- 31:33Speaker 3: know that our prayers are with you, Our prayers are
- 31:35Speaker 3: with the people of Israel, and truth will prevail, Israel
- 31:40Speaker 3: will stand against the face of evil, and America stands men.
- 31:46Speaker 6: I can't tell you how comforting those words are and
- 31:48Speaker 6: how much you've put truth to action. So thank you,
- 31:51Speaker 6: thank you, thank you.
