- 2:14Speaker 1: Got a radio show because God is in a forgiving business.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Got a radio show because God to let you turn
- 2:20Speaker 1: your life around. Business. Got a radio show because God
- 2:24Speaker 1: no better than you know. Yeah, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:27Speaker 1: radio show. Didn't see it coming, but he did. I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: gonna share with you today a principle of success. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's it's important that we get our lives together. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: mean it really really is. You know, to hear after
- 2:44Speaker 1: is exactly what it says, is to hear after, and
- 2:48Speaker 1: hopefully for the majority of us, that's quite a way
- 2:51Speaker 1: He's off. So what about how you living today? How
- 2:55Speaker 1: about it now. You know often talk to you talk
- 3:00Speaker 1: in the morning about your relationship with God that can
- 3:03Speaker 1: never change. That is at the forefront and the best
- 3:09Speaker 1: thought process that I can give you. And I know
- 3:11Speaker 1: who I'm talking to on the radio. I'm talking to
- 3:14Speaker 1: a lot of people, man, who out there just not sure.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And I'm talking to a lot of people out there
- 3:20Speaker 1: man that's trying to pull it together. In other words,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you know, I'm talking to a lot of people like myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: There is a principle of success that is out there
- 3:32Speaker 1: that if more people understood one of the bait. This
- 3:34Speaker 1: is just one of one of the basic principles of success,
- 3:38Speaker 1: you would have more success in your life. And that
- 3:40Speaker 1: principle is this, the more people you help become successful,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the more successful you become. Well, the more people you
- 3:51Speaker 1: help become successful, the more successful you become. Because you
- 3:55Speaker 1: are a practicing helping your and as you do onto
- 3:59Speaker 1: other then it's done unto you. You know, you you
- 4:04Speaker 1: you build relationships. When you do that, people forget in success,
- 4:09Speaker 1: that has to be relationships. There is no one person
- 4:13Speaker 1: in this world who is just successful all on their own.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You are successful, and successful people form relationships and You've
- 4:23Speaker 1: got to really coddle these relationships. You've got to nurture
- 4:27Speaker 1: these relationships. They don't just happen. You don't just get
- 4:32Speaker 1: cool with people just cause you cool. No, you've got
- 4:36Speaker 1: to do some cool things to these people and for
- 4:38Speaker 1: these people, for these people to be cool with you
- 4:41Speaker 1: when you need some cool. I don't know if I'm
- 4:43Speaker 1: explaining that right, but that's the best way I can
- 4:45Speaker 1: tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know, I'm
- 4:48Speaker 1: I just speak like that. This is an important principle
- 4:52Speaker 1: to put into your life. The more people you help
- 4:56Speaker 1: become successful, the more successful you become. You cannot look.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You have to say to people, hey, look, I've done that.
- 5:04Speaker 1: This is what you got to do. You got to
- 5:06Speaker 1: take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You got to take a minute man to uplift somebody,
- 5:16Speaker 1: give them some encouragement. Hey man, you can do it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Don't give up. You have no idea. You you you
- 5:24Speaker 1: right now. You have no idea how significant you are
- 5:29Speaker 1: to someone else, how your words of encouragement could be
- 5:34Speaker 1: the difference maker. Today I'm talking about it's a person
- 5:38Speaker 1: looking at you that you don't even really know you
- 5:40Speaker 1: you don't really know them, and you see them struggling
- 5:42Speaker 1: with something, just say, hey, you know what, I've been
- 5:44Speaker 1: watching you from afar. You're gonna be all right, man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I see something. Men. You keep doing the right thing. Man,
- 5:50Speaker 1: You're gonna be all right. I had a meeting with
- 5:53Speaker 1: a young man for the first time. And this young
- 5:57Speaker 1: man came into my office. I never met him. He
- 6:01Speaker 1: has an internet service, which anybody can teach me something
- 6:05Speaker 1: about the Internet because I know little too close to nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It was twenty seven years old, and he was amazingly
- 6:13Speaker 1: bright at this and I guess you know that it's
- 6:17Speaker 1: not that hard to impress me. But the fluids speech
- 6:23Speaker 1: pattern that he had about this very very difficult subject.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He was tossing around the terms I had heard, but
- 6:29Speaker 1: he was actually putting him in sentences where it made
- 6:31Speaker 1: sense to me. It's very fluid, very very sure of himself.
- 6:36Speaker 1: When he was talking about this little thing's young dude,
- 6:39Speaker 1: twenty seven years old. And when he got through, the
- 6:43Speaker 1: woman that had introduced me to him, I was leaving
- 6:45Speaker 1: my office and she was going to escort him out,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I turned around and I said, young man, I said,
- 6:51Speaker 1: what what size pants? Are you? And I guessed it
- 6:55Speaker 1: because I'm I've been dressing for long. I've been all
- 6:58Speaker 1: the sizes. And I said, you bout a thirty ways?
- 7:01Speaker 1: He said, yes, sir. I said, what side? Shoot you ways?
- 7:03Speaker 1: At nine and a half? I said, what side shirt is?
- 7:06Speaker 1: At a medium? He said, I really like extra lodge.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I said, well, that's too big for you. You just
- 7:12Speaker 1: want to look lousy and bagging. And so I was
- 7:16Speaker 1: talking to him and I said, man, I'm gonna help
- 7:19Speaker 1: you out. I said, man, because let me tell you something.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You're a sharp young dude. Man. You are raised a shop.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I say, You've really really impressed me today. I said,
- 7:29Speaker 1: and you know what, young brother, I said, You're gonna
- 7:30Speaker 1: make a lot of money one day. Man, I said,
- 7:33Speaker 1: but I want you to get your image up. I
- 7:36Speaker 1: want you to. I want you to look at how
- 7:37Speaker 1: you dress because you're coming into professional people's office and
- 7:41Speaker 1: you're talking about doing something for them and it and
- 7:43Speaker 1: it takes money to make it happen. I gotta give
- 7:45Speaker 1: you money to make this happen. What you cannot afford
- 7:49Speaker 1: to do is look like you need every dime with
- 7:51Speaker 1: this money. See you get when you're going there and
- 7:54Speaker 1: you're talking about money with another person. The person that's
- 7:58Speaker 1: gonna give you this money. Cannot it can't look like
- 8:00Speaker 1: you need every dime of this money, you know, So
- 8:03Speaker 1: you gotta start presenting yourself. And that's all I just
- 8:06Speaker 1: said to him. And I just said, man, but you
- 8:08Speaker 1: know what, you shocked. You're gonna make yourself some money.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you out a little bit. I walked out.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I went on about my business. Later on that afternoon,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I had a meeting with the woman that bought him
- 8:17Speaker 1: in and she said, mister Harvey, you have no idea
- 8:20Speaker 1: what you just did. He said, his eyes just teared
- 8:23Speaker 1: up when you walked out. He said, wow, man, that
- 8:26Speaker 1: man don't even know me, and he just encouraged me.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He's a man always thought I might could make it,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but he said I ain't. Never had nobody like him
- 8:35Speaker 1: tell me I could make it. And just hearing it
- 8:37Speaker 1: from him, man, that's all right. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 8:41Speaker 1: get my clothes together. But you know, I've been homeless.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And then he started telling the woman that he had
- 8:47Speaker 1: been homeless, and so you know, then she telling me
- 8:50Speaker 1: that now I'm fitting cry cerus. You know, I've been
- 8:52Speaker 1: in that hole before, and I just and I'm just
- 8:55Speaker 1: sharing that story. What y'all just to say? You don't
- 8:58Speaker 1: know who you talking to, but what does it hurt
- 9:02Speaker 1: if you just extend your hand to a person and
- 9:05Speaker 1: give them a moment of encouragement. See this young brother
- 9:09Speaker 1: right here, he could come back one day and be
- 9:12Speaker 1: a major benefit to me because he has a skill
- 9:15Speaker 1: set that I don't have. Oh. I might be old,
- 9:19Speaker 1: mister Steve Harvey, but hey, guess what, I don't know
- 9:22Speaker 1: nothing about what this young cat know and either went
- 9:24Speaker 1: off and educated himself, and just a word of encouragement
- 9:28Speaker 1: from somebody like yourself can make all the difference in
- 9:33Speaker 1: another person's life. So remember on your way to the top.
- 9:38Speaker 1: The more people that you help become successful, the more
- 9:42Speaker 1: successful you become. It's a requirement of God that you
- 9:46Speaker 1: do that. That ain't Steve Harvey talking. If you read
- 9:49Speaker 1: your Bible. Somebody got a Bible verse that backed me up.

- 13:56Speaker 1: and my daughter hosted a small dinner for Mother's Day,
- 13:59Speaker 1: and I did my mom and my aunt. My eighty
- 14:02Speaker 1: four year old aunt called my daughter a gold digger
- 14:05Speaker 1: and told her that her kids are spoiled brats. My
- 14:08Speaker 1: daughter married a former pro athlete and she has a
- 14:10Speaker 1: blessed life, and my aunt is a drunk. We got
- 14:14Speaker 1: into a huge argument, and my mother told her to
- 14:17Speaker 1: mind told me to mind my manners when speaking to
- 14:20Speaker 1: my elders. I kindly asked them all to get out
- 14:24Speaker 1: of my daughter's home. I feel bad for how I
- 14:27Speaker 1: talk to my aunt, but I'm grown. Do I apologize
- 14:30Speaker 1: to my aunt or should she apologize to me? Well? Really,
- 14:33Speaker 1: why do she your daughter's house? Calling your daughter a

- 15:37Speaker 1: I would like him to be, but he is a
- 15:39Speaker 1: great personality and he makes me laugh. On our first date,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we went to dinner and then sat at the bar
- 15:45Speaker 1: for a drink. After we had dinner, he loosened up
- 15:48Speaker 1: a bit and started asking very personal questions like what's
- 15:51Speaker 1: my favorite sexual position? And do I match my underwear daily?
- 15:56Speaker 1: I told him he'd get to hold of that in
- 15:59Speaker 1: due time. He said, not to make him wait too long?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Does he just want sex? What color at your draw?
- 16:07Speaker 1: You didn't, you didn't. You didn't get that from the conversation, right,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you know, but it seemed like to me, just based

- 17:34Speaker 1: week to help him in and out of the tub
- 17:36Speaker 1: and to shave him because my stepmom, who is younger

- 28:44Speaker 1: I know. I was wrong. I was wrong. It was
- 28:46Speaker 1: a lot. It was a lot. But that's what a
- 28:48Speaker 1: prank is supposed to be. A lot. You know what
- 28:50Speaker 1: I mean. It's supposed to be a lot, a lot.
- 28:55Speaker 1: You did all of that. You did all of that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Well you do that for sure, coming up at the
- 29:05Speaker 1: top of the hour, thinking, f you, we'll have some
- 29:08Speaker 1: entertainment and national news right after this. You're listening to
- 29:12Speaker 1: this day morning show. Well, this is a sad story
- 29:17Speaker 1: right here. According to beet, our friend R and B
- 29:20Speaker 1: singer Tank has revealed that he is losing his hearing.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Tank posted on his ig account that he is going
- 29:28Speaker 1: completely deaf in one year one ear and losing hearing
- 29:32Speaker 1: in the other. Tank said that he is dizzy, can't
- 29:34Speaker 1: walk a straight line. Just take a listen, please. So,
- 29:37Speaker 1: I'm going through something right now, and I want to
- 29:39Speaker 1: use my situation to encourage your situation. Going completely deaf
- 29:43Speaker 1: in my right ear and I'm kind of losing sound
- 29:46Speaker 1: on my left. I'm dizzy, can't walk a straight line.
- 29:50Speaker 1: All of this out of nowhere. Don't know how or why.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Seeing the doctor's got MRI and all that good stuff
- 29:56Speaker 1: going on, medication, you know all of that, but you
- 29:59Speaker 1: know it still hasn't given me a reason to give up.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Still hasn't given me a reason to stop feeling like
- 30:06Speaker 1: I can do and be everything that I've set out
- 30:10Speaker 1: to be. Um, the goals are still the same, to
- 30:12Speaker 1: be great, to be the greatest. And I want to
- 30:15Speaker 1: say that to you too. No matter what you're going through,
- 30:17Speaker 1: no matter where you find yourself, whether your body's failing you,
- 30:19Speaker 1: whether your mind is failing you, whether your spirit is
- 30:23Speaker 1: failing you, keep going, keep pushing. I'm gonna document my
- 30:26Speaker 1: process just to just to show you the fight, just
- 30:29Speaker 1: to show you that you're still in it. We're still
- 30:32Speaker 1: in it. So much of love to you, and let's
- 30:35Speaker 1: keep fighting. Wow. Wow, man, especially for a musician. Wasn't
- 30:42Speaker 1: there a movie, an Oscar nominated movie about a drummer
- 30:46Speaker 1: losing's hearing a rock? I don't care who You's a
- 30:48Speaker 1: movie out now about a drummer? Yeah rightfix, I mean,
- 30:53Speaker 1: louis you losing any one of your senses? Those five
- 30:57Speaker 1: senses are critical? Yeah, you know. But he has a
- 31:02Speaker 1: great attitude, do you know? Um? And I would definitely
- 31:12Speaker 1: definitely include prayer to the equation. I don't listen, man,
- 31:22Speaker 1: I'm not. I mean, yeah, most R and B singers
- 31:25Speaker 1: come from that. But you know, I'm not. Look, I'm
- 31:28Speaker 1: not the ideal Christian by any stretch of imagination. But
- 31:32Speaker 1: prayer has gotten me through so many difficult moments. Of course,
- 31:36Speaker 1: I haven't lost my hearing to anything, but I've lost
- 31:39Speaker 1: just about everything else, I'll tell you that. And prayer
- 31:43Speaker 1: has been a very present help. It's constant in my
- 31:47Speaker 1: life now, you know, sometimes not as much as it
- 31:49Speaker 1: should be. But I'm just telling you, man, God has
- 31:53Speaker 1: a very present help in the time of trouble, especially now.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's a shame that we wait until we get in trouble.
- 31:58Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about tank by any stretching. Imagine
- 32:00Speaker 1: I'm just talking about people in general. It's a shame
- 32:02Speaker 1: we wait till we get in a hardship before we
- 32:05Speaker 1: really call on it. But and I suggest that you
- 32:09Speaker 1: try it when you don't really need him. Uh but
- 32:13Speaker 1: when is that? Um? I've found out I've needed him
- 32:18Speaker 1: more and more the older I've gotten, I've really discovered
- 32:20Speaker 1: a better walk with him. But y'all, just you know,
- 32:23Speaker 1: keep your faith in Tactoo Man. Always incorporate prayer. We're
- 32:26Speaker 1: gonna pray for Tank Man. He's a good dude, man,
- 32:29Speaker 1: Tank and really a good due. Yeah. You know what
- 32:33Speaker 1: was the character he played when he filled in for
- 32:35Speaker 1: you was a Bishop Kognac? Yeah, yes, yeah, acted crazy. Yes,
- 32:44Speaker 1: we love you, Tank h Prayer healing, We got you, Tank, yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: uh quickly. In other entertainment news, Paramount has ordered ten
- 32:54Speaker 1: episodes of the reboot of the series The Game with
- 32:58Speaker 1: Him Love. Original cast member Yes Wendy Roquel Robinson will
- 33:03Speaker 1: be back as Tasha Mack and The Game, of Course,
- 33:08Speaker 1: ran for nine seasons from two thousand and six to
- 33:11Speaker 1: twenty fifteen. All right, time now, Steve for our headlines,
- 33:15Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, miss A and Trip, Thanks guys, and
- 33:18Speaker 1: good morning. This is a trip with the news. Today
- 33:22Speaker 1: is a great day for America in our long battle
- 33:25Speaker 1: with the coronavirus. The US has reached a long awaited
- 33:28Speaker 1: milestone in the fight against COVID nineteen and because of it,
- 33:31Speaker 1: the Sentence for Disease Controls say that in most cases,
- 33:34Speaker 1: now fully vaccinated to people can remove those masks they have.
- 33:38Speaker 1: The Sentence for Disease control says the people who've been
- 33:41Speaker 1: inoculated against COVID can now take part in indoor outdoor
- 33:44Speaker 1: activities large small without wearing a mask or engaging in
- 33:48Speaker 1: social distancing. However, mask is still recommended as you travel,
- 33:52Speaker 1: like on airplanes and public transportation stuff, so you still
- 33:55Speaker 1: should have your mask for that. Since the coronavirus was
- 33:57Speaker 1: declared a pandemic one year and two months ago, some
- 34:01Speaker 1: thirty two million Americans have been infected, with some five
- 34:04Speaker 1: hundred and eighty four thousand lives lost. Now that the
- 34:07Speaker 1: GOP's removed Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney from her leadership position
- 34:12Speaker 1: with the Party for a fusing to go along with
- 34:14Speaker 1: Donald Trump's insistence that the presidential election was somehow rigged,
- 34:18Speaker 1: looks like Republicans are now trying to change the narrative
- 34:20Speaker 1: about what happened January sixth of the Capitol how Speaker
- 34:24Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi's calling out a GOP Congressman George's Andrew Klein,
- 34:28Speaker 1: who actually claimed in a hearing yesterday that Trump's support
- 34:32Speaker 1: has held a peaceful demonstration on January sixth, claiming that
- 34:36Speaker 1: video shows people walking through the Capitol in an orderly fashion.
- 34:40Speaker 1: There was no insurrection. You would actually think it was
- 34:43Speaker 1: a normal tourist visit. Really, really, it was beyond denial.
- 34:48Speaker 1: It fell into the range of six yeah. Pelosi says
- 34:51Speaker 1: that a normal day at the Capitol does not involve
- 34:53Speaker 1: threats to hang the Vice president or shoot the speaker.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Israel's called up some eight thousand reservists and to ground
- 35:00Speaker 1: offensive against Hamas and Gaza. President Biden says so far
- 35:03Speaker 1: he doesn't think Israelis are overreacting to the rockets that
- 35:06Speaker 1: Hamas has been launching at them from the Gaza strip.
- 35:09Speaker 1: But mister Biden says the focus right now for him
- 35:11Speaker 1: is to get all sides to de escalate stuff. At
- 35:14Speaker 1: last report, they're one hundred and seventeen Palestinian deaths, at
- 35:17Speaker 1: least thirteen children, and seven deaths in Israel, at least
- 35:20Speaker 1: three children, and finally a two A month long feud
- 35:24Speaker 1: between Peter or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
- 35:28Speaker 1: and Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt continues to hate up there after,
- 35:33Speaker 1: Governor Stitt declared last week in March, that does the
- 35:35Speaker 1: last week in March will be eat meat week. Peter
- 35:38Speaker 1: placed at billboard in the middle of the capital were
- 35:39Speaker 1: featuring a picture of a cow with a message Oklahoma
- 35:43Speaker 1: home of meathead. Governor Kevin Stitt. The governor his friends
- 35:47Speaker 1: got back with the group by holding a barbecue right
- 35:49Speaker 1: under the sign It's all in good fun. Oklahoma's know
- 35:51Speaker 1: that we're going to stand by our agriculture industry and
- 35:55Speaker 1: the freedom to go vegan if you want, or the
- 35:57Speaker 1: freedom to eat hamburgers if you want. So. I guess
- 35:59Speaker 1: that's the beef. It's what's for dinner. Steve Harvey show,
- 36:04Speaker 1: you're listening, stew All right, Steve, come on, introduce your friend.
- 36:10Speaker 1: You hired him, Ladies and gentlemen. Here he is regrettably
- 36:15Speaker 1: the one and only Jay Anthony Brown. Wow. Well, first
- 36:20Speaker 1: of all, let me tell every we are in your nose.
- 36:24Speaker 1: D we are in your nose. Let me let me

- 36:40Speaker 1: with that being said, we know that they just had
- 36:42Speaker 1: some inductees or people who are nominated to be inducted
- 36:46Speaker 1: in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Thanks Jay Z, Hello,
- 36:51Speaker 1: Tina Turner and LLL Cuja all great, all great. Don't
- 36:55Speaker 1: get me wrong, They're great, but what they have done
- 36:58Speaker 1: is forgotten. Some of the greatest blue singers of all times,
- 37:03Speaker 1: like Gladys mcnolia had a hit song called I'll be
- 37:07Speaker 1: outside your house waiting on you when you come out
- 37:11Speaker 1: that helper's house. It's a blue song. We gotta we
- 37:15Speaker 1: got a copy of it. Could you play Dave Abby
- 37:18Speaker 1: out waiting winning time out the have of outself? Are
- 37:23Speaker 1: we outside out to have them out? When you look
- 37:29Speaker 1: out the one? The Halbert waining not bad on you
- 37:33Speaker 1: alby outside way one and I'm out to have I
- 37:37Speaker 1: don't have. That's all like that, never got nominated, never
- 37:43Speaker 1: got put in the rock and roll Billy Thickneck Billy
- 37:50Speaker 1: Thickneck Johnson had a song called the nineteen thirty had
- 37:56Speaker 1: a song called that big head Baby ain't Mine. Could
- 37:59Speaker 1: you play a little bit of it? Just play at
- 38:02Speaker 1: bay that big hit in man, No handed in mind.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I'm telling the true man, I ain't line. No way
- 38:14Speaker 1: that bided in mind, No way that big big is mine.
- 38:20Speaker 1: No way. Now the cock, the cock got Simpson, The
- 38:25Speaker 1: cock got Simpson brothers. The cock got Simpson Brothers, Simmy's twins.
- 38:31Speaker 1: They were connected at the hip. They had a hit
- 38:34Speaker 1: song called you looked that way and I looked that way,
- 38:38Speaker 1: And we'll have the whole thing covered. Could you play
- 38:41Speaker 1: just a little bit of that he looked this way,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I looked that way, and we'll have both ways covered.
- 38:49Speaker 1: You look that way. I love this way, and we'll
- 38:54Speaker 1: have both ways covered. You look this way, I looked
- 38:58Speaker 1: that way. Will have the old thing COVID. I'm just
- 39:01Speaker 1: asking them to nominate some of these people who were
- 39:04Speaker 1: left out of the music business, great singers. I have
- 39:08Speaker 1: more at another time. That's all I got to say. Yeah,
- 39:13Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:17Speaker 1: talk about the new ruling from the CDC. Right after this,
- 39:21Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, the CDC
- 39:26Speaker 1: and Doctor Fauci announced yesterday that if you're vaccinated against
- 39:30Speaker 1: COVID nineteen, CDC says, you can take your mask off indoors.
- 39:36Speaker 1: That is great news. That is great. But I wait though, Okay,
- 39:42Speaker 1: that's great now. I think it's a little bit. You've
- 39:45Speaker 1: been vaccinated, you can take your masks off indoors. So, uh,
- 39:52Speaker 1: they're just saying that for the people who know that vaccinated.
- 39:55Speaker 1: But so, what you're saying is a person can just
- 39:57Speaker 1: tell you they vaccinated and not. There you go like
- 40:02Speaker 1: they need another excuse. Okay, Yeah. A stable released yesterday
- 40:08Speaker 1: says the science is clear. If you are fully vaccinated,
- 40:12Speaker 1: you are protected and you can start doing the things
- 40:14Speaker 1: that you stopped doing because of the pandemic. Uh. There
- 40:18Speaker 1: are some exceptions, though, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare
- 40:21Speaker 1: related settings, trains, planes, buses, and other modes of public transportation, prisons,
- 40:29Speaker 1: homeless shelters. Officials believe it is safe, and I hope
- 40:33Speaker 1: that the move will provide another incentive for holdouts to
- 40:36Speaker 1: get vaccinated. Vaccinated. So prisons cool, yeah, rcall, no, you
- 40:45Speaker 1: have to these are yeah, those are the exceptions where
- 40:48Speaker 1: you have to wear your masks inside exceptions hospitals, nursing homes,
- 40:55Speaker 1: other healthcare related settings, trains, planes, buses and other modes
- 40:59Speaker 1: of public transportations, prisons, homeless shelters. So that's just about everywhere.
- 41:06Speaker 1: So they got some all inmates have to wear a
- 41:08Speaker 1: mask prison, yea, yeah, I don't know if y'all have them. Well,
- 41:15Speaker 1: I know y'all at but one of the hottest places
- 41:21Speaker 1: it's mugging in the dog. Boy. Let me tell you something.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Jails ain't that condition. They don't do that. It's supposed
- 41:31Speaker 1: it's jail. But but no. But at the same time, man,
- 41:37Speaker 1: a lot of jails in prisons are very very inhumane treatment.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It's very very inhumane treatment because some of these people,
- 41:47Speaker 1: I mean, so many people are in there for non
- 41:49Speaker 1: violent drug related offenses. You don't have to treat the
- 41:53Speaker 1: people that way. You just don't. You just don't. Some
- 41:57Speaker 1: of these prisons a lot of the man of very inhumane. Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 1: you know, it's like, you know, maximum security, twenty three
- 42:05Speaker 1: hour lock up, one hour out that that's I mean, man,
- 42:10Speaker 1: a person has no social contact. You know, you got
- 42:15Speaker 1: him in there for life. I mean, come on, man,
- 42:18Speaker 1: no sunshine, no nothing, you got him in there. For
- 42:20Speaker 1: life or whatever you want to say the crime was.
- 42:23Speaker 1: But you don't have to. You don't have to, you know,
- 42:26Speaker 1: I'm just saying, I know. People go you ain't never
- 42:29Speaker 1: had nobody? Yes I have, Yes I have. I've lost
- 42:33Speaker 1: relatives to murder. Yes I have. I have lost people
- 42:38Speaker 1: to murder. Friends, Yes I have. Don't so don't don't.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Don't hit me with the what you haven't had. It's
- 42:44Speaker 1: still some inhumane treatment of people in these prisons, and
- 42:48Speaker 1: it shouldn't be that. Well, man, it just shouldn't. I'm
- 42:51Speaker 1: just saying, yes, So back to it. If you've been
- 42:55Speaker 1: vaccinated against COVID nineteen, the CDC says you can take
- 42:59Speaker 1: your mask off indoors, okay, who If you're fully bactrignated,
- 43:03Speaker 1: you are collected. But when fly, you need to wear
- 43:07Speaker 1: your mask. I'm winning, my man. Yeah, And the elevators,
- 43:11Speaker 1: you're a lot of places. See yet that I get
- 43:14Speaker 1: you comfortable with. I think you should wear your mask
- 43:16Speaker 1: in public transportation anyway, whether it's COVID, Yeah, I think
- 43:19Speaker 1: you should. I mean that the flu and all the
- 43:24Speaker 1: other you know, diseases we knew about before COVID. You
- 43:28Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. How many times have you gotten
- 43:31Speaker 1: sick from being on a planet. Once I found out
- 43:33Speaker 1: Al was dirty, I'm through. I'm wearing this mask, but
- 43:37Speaker 1: I'm winning. I ain't breathing raw al, no motives and
- 43:45Speaker 1: what else I like? You know what else? I like
- 43:47Speaker 1: the six feet apart. You know too, because a lot
- 43:51Speaker 1: of people have a tendency to get too close and
- 43:53Speaker 1: be all in personal space. Yeah, well black people have
- 43:57Speaker 1: been We've been wanting people to stand all for us
- 44:00Speaker 1: at Lisa. We don't like that no way, like when
- 44:03Speaker 1: we when we at the supermarket putting our food on
- 44:07Speaker 1: the conveyor. Bet, why is you as close to me?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Why is your baskets coming up next to nephew with
- 44:15Speaker 1: the prank phone call? Right after this, you're listening to
- 44:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:23Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry
- 44:26Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject he is soon I was stupid. Huh.
- 44:32Speaker 1: We'll get into it in just a little bit right now. Oh,
- 44:36Speaker 1: speaking of stupid, guess what time it is you don't tie?
- 44:39Speaker 1: That you don't tie? You do not stupid? He guessed
- 44:45Speaker 1: it right away, that ain't no tie. Assumption and stupidity.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I like, all right, the nephew is here with today's
- 44:56Speaker 1: prank phone call. What you got for us? Now? Cold
- 44:59Speaker 1: truck drip? Oh truck driver, that sound pretty pretty, you know,
- 45:06Speaker 1: I know you old truck drive. Let's go. Yeah, like,
- 45:10Speaker 1: here you go, canny man. They just blew out the
- 45:14Speaker 1: whole electrical system in the old Hello. Hello, I'm trying.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm trying to find Candy. Who is this.
- 45:21Speaker 1: It's Candy man. Okay you you are you the guy
- 45:23Speaker 1: with the toe truck. You're you're the toe truck driver.
- 45:26Speaker 1: That's trucking. Okay, Hey, man, you jump started my girl's
- 45:30Speaker 1: car three days ago and blew the whold electrical system out. Man,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I did hold on, hold on, let me get back
- 45:37Speaker 1: to my truck. You said, I did what man, You
- 45:39Speaker 1: do jump people's vehicles when they when they got to
- 45:41Speaker 1: stall vehicle, don't you, Well that's what I do. I
- 45:44Speaker 1: jumped vehicles. Yes, okay, so you actually did my girl's
- 45:49Speaker 1: car about three days ago. Man, you just started her car.
- 45:52Speaker 1: But now when you you over jumped it, it's what
- 45:55Speaker 1: you did. Okay, you didn't blow out the whole electrical
- 45:58Speaker 1: system in the whole car. The dad board. Everything is
- 46:00Speaker 1: just completely out, and they talk about this gonna be
- 46:03Speaker 1: by fifteen hundred dollars to get this thing. I'm sorry now,
- 46:06Speaker 1: who was this thing? My name kenned Man. But you
- 46:09Speaker 1: murder ceiler man? You jump started, you over jumped hard car.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Well just wait, wait a minute, Cannada. There's no such
- 46:15Speaker 1: thing as over jumping a car. You can't over jump
- 46:18Speaker 1: a car, man. Man, let me tell you a couch now.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I whoever told you that? That's just now? That's just hey.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Man, You overjump my girl's car, okay,
- 46:27Speaker 1: and you blew out jump a car? What do you
- 46:29Speaker 1: mean you can? That's what you did. Man, You don't
- 46:32Speaker 1: blow out the entire electrical system, the entire dad'board. It's
- 46:35Speaker 1: completely dead. The people at the dealership saying it's gonna
- 46:38Speaker 1: take fifteen hundred dollars to get this thing backed up
- 46:40Speaker 1: and run it, well, you may want to take it
- 46:42Speaker 1: comewhere there, so they're trying to rip you off. There's
- 46:44Speaker 1: no such There ain't no such thing as overjumping a
- 46:48Speaker 1: car and blow And if she drove off that day,
- 46:51Speaker 1: then she should be fine. I've jumped plenty of cars.
- 46:55Speaker 1: I jumped car is all day long. People always need
- 46:58Speaker 1: to jump. I know I've never over jumped. Look, you
- 47:03Speaker 1: overjumped this car, okay, and that's the reason why it's
- 47:06Speaker 1: completely shut down. All the fuses have blown out, everything
- 47:10Speaker 1: is completely dead. You overjumped the car. And now it's
- 47:14Speaker 1: the fifteen hundred dollars. And the reason why I'm calling
- 47:16Speaker 1: you is you should be the person paying for this. No, no, hell, no, no,
- 47:21Speaker 1: now that's sure ain't gonna happen. I'm not gonna pay
- 47:23Speaker 1: for something I didn't do. You did it. You don't
- 47:26Speaker 1: one overjumped it, man, You overjumped the car. I don't
- 47:30Speaker 1: over jumped cars. Now that and now wait a minute,
- 47:32Speaker 1: and now wait just one man. Now, I'm not gonna
- 47:35Speaker 1: argue with you that jump cars all the time. And
- 47:39Speaker 1: you mean to tell me I overjumped your You you're
- 47:42Speaker 1: a no. You know what you're gonna get you. Well,
- 47:47Speaker 1: if I don't get this fifteen hundred dollars, I'm sorry.
- 47:50Speaker 1: You said what You're gonna get your swoop. If I
- 47:53Speaker 1: don't get this fifteen hundred dollars to take care of
- 47:55Speaker 1: this whole car and the whole electrical system, well I
- 47:58Speaker 1: tell you what I'm over here on mark us a
- 48:00Speaker 1: king right now. Now you're talking about whooping somebody? You
- 48:03Speaker 1: bring it tone over here now, I don't over jumping cars,
- 48:06Speaker 1: and I'm gonna hold you. Know money is you only
- 48:09Speaker 1: fifteen hundred dollars? You cut your son of them? You
- 48:11Speaker 1: only hold you? So let me tell you something. You'll
- 48:15Speaker 1: be in for a long day. I will take this
- 48:17Speaker 1: toe truck and ramman straight up your and I'm not
- 48:21Speaker 1: playing with it now. How don't I well, don't doctor
- 48:24Speaker 1: people like this? And I should have held don't appreciate
- 48:27Speaker 1: it when someone talks to me like that, whooping, You

- 54:02Speaker 1: Jay buggle up and hold on tight. We got it
- 54:05Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry letter subject. He
- 54:09Speaker 1: assumed I was stupid. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm thirty four
- 54:15Speaker 1: years old and I was dating a guy that's thirty
- 54:17Speaker 1: two years old, and we broke up because he said
- 54:20Speaker 1: I am not a team player. A week ago, he
- 54:23Speaker 1: had to put his car in the shop and he
- 54:25Speaker 1: asked if I could pick him up from the repair shop.
- 54:28Speaker 1: I went by to get him, and he said his
- 54:30Speaker 1: car would be ready in a week. I had planned
- 54:32Speaker 1: to drop him off at home and go to dinner
- 54:34Speaker 1: with my coworker. I got to his house and went
- 54:37Speaker 1: in to use a bathroom. I noticed he was in
- 54:40Speaker 1: his closet and he had a suitcase on his bed.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I asked him if he was going somewhere, and he
- 54:46Speaker 1: said he would be staying at my house all week
- 54:49Speaker 1: until his car was fixed. That way he wouldn't have
- 54:51Speaker 1: to rent a car or have me driving him around. Now,
- 54:55Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I am a hard working, independent woman, and
- 54:58Speaker 1: I always have been self sufficient and had my own
- 55:03Speaker 1: car and place to live. These men I'm meeting nowadays
- 55:06Speaker 1: think it's okay to lean on a woman for support
- 55:09Speaker 1: or have the woman go out of her way for them.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I was disappointed in him for assuming he could stay
- 55:14Speaker 1: at my house and he could use my car without
- 55:17Speaker 1: asking me first. I asked if his insurance policy covered
- 55:20Speaker 1: a rental car, and he said he didn't include it
- 55:23Speaker 1: in his policy because it would have raised his premium.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Here's the biggest issue I have with all of this.
- 55:29Speaker 1: If the roles were reversed, I could never assume I
- 55:33Speaker 1: am staying at his house and he wouldn't let me
- 55:36Speaker 1: drive his BMW for a week. Hell, he wouldn't even
- 55:39Speaker 1: offer to drop me off at work and pick me up.
- 55:42Speaker 1: After a heated discussion, I left him at his house
- 55:45Speaker 1: and went to dinner with my coworker. Later that night,
- 55:48Speaker 1: he broke up with me, and I was stunned. Am
- 55:52Speaker 1: I wrong to have such high standards? Well, I'll say this, no,
- 55:57Speaker 1: I don't think you're wrong to have standards. Standards, Standards.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You know, Steve wrote a whole book about that very thing,
- 56:05Speaker 1: and act like a lady, think like a man. Standards
- 56:08Speaker 1: and requirements is what he called it, and it's where
- 56:11Speaker 1: a woman should, you know, have certain expectations from her man,
- 56:15Speaker 1: your man or x man is wrong. Yes he is.
- 56:18Speaker 1: For assuming he could lay up on you without at
- 56:21Speaker 1: least asking you first communication is key here. You didn't
- 56:26Speaker 1: say in the letter how long you guys had been dating.
- 56:29Speaker 1: You just said you're thirty four and he's thirty two.
- 56:32Speaker 1: But obviously it wasn't long enough for you for him
- 56:35Speaker 1: to be asking you this. I don't think he was
- 56:37Speaker 1: right for you anyway, because you said if the roles
- 56:39Speaker 1: were reversed, he wouldn't do the same for you, and
- 56:42Speaker 1: it sounded like you were pretty clear about that. So
- 56:45Speaker 1: why were you even stunned that he broke it off
- 56:47Speaker 1: with you when you said no. I think he's moved on,
- 56:50Speaker 1: and I think you should move on as well. Steve,
- 56:55Speaker 1: this is an interesting letter because I find us some
- 56:59Speaker 1: problems in both of these, the letter writer and the guy,
- 57:04Speaker 1: and I'll share it with you. He assumed I was stupid, Well,
- 57:09Speaker 1: that the top topic of the letter. I'm not sure
- 57:13Speaker 1: that he assumed you are stupid. I think he assumed
- 57:16Speaker 1: a bit much, and I'll show you what I mean.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Thirty four years old, you're dating the guy to thirty two.
- 57:21Speaker 1: We broke up because he said I'm not a team player. Now,
- 57:25Speaker 1: based on this letter. I think he's right in saying
- 57:28Speaker 1: you're not a team player, but I also think he
- 57:31Speaker 1: went about this the wrong way. So I think there's
- 57:34Speaker 1: wrong on both sides in this letter. A week ago,
- 57:38Speaker 1: he put his car in the shop and he asked
- 57:42Speaker 1: you if you could pick him up from the repair shop.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I went by to gaining. He said his car would
- 57:47Speaker 1: be ready in a week. I planned to drop him
- 57:49Speaker 1: off at home and go to dinner with my co workers. Okay,
- 57:51Speaker 1: that's fair. I got to his house and went to
- 57:54Speaker 1: use the bathroom. I noticed he was in his closet
- 57:57Speaker 1: and they had a suitcase on his bed. I asked
- 57:59Speaker 1: him if he was going somewhere, and he said he
- 58:02Speaker 1: was gonna stay at my house all week until the
- 58:04Speaker 1: car was fixed. That way he wouldn't have to rent
- 58:06Speaker 1: a car or have me drive him around. Now he's
- 58:12Speaker 1: wrong right here because he assumed this. He didn't have
- 58:18Speaker 1: the courtesy or the decency to ask this woman, So
- 58:22Speaker 1: he was wrong, like two left shoes for this now,
- 58:25Speaker 1: Stephen Sherla, I'm a hard working, independent woman. I've always
- 58:28Speaker 1: been self sufficient to have my own car, in a
- 58:30Speaker 1: place to live. These men I'm meeting nowadays think it's
- 58:34Speaker 1: okay to lean on a woman's for my support. I
- 58:36Speaker 1: have a woman go out of her way for them.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Now we are dealing with the woman who has some
- 58:40Speaker 1: preconceived notions about men. She has put all men in
- 58:45Speaker 1: the same category, or at least all the men she's meeting.
- 58:50Speaker 1: So obviously she's been meeting a lot of men that
- 58:52Speaker 1: wants to lean on women. And I understand her feeling
- 58:55Speaker 1: that way, but he was wrong for human this. But
- 59:01Speaker 1: she just went, Okay, here we go again, same old,
- 59:03Speaker 1: same old. These dudes I'm dating nine days, I all
- 59:06Speaker 1: think this way. Then she said I was disappointed in
- 59:10Speaker 1: him for assuming he could stay at my house and
- 59:12Speaker 1: he could use my car without asking me first. He
- 59:16Speaker 1: had absolutely no right to assume. That's the problem in
- 59:21Speaker 1: this letter. He assumed something that obviously shouldn't have been
- 59:27Speaker 1: taken for granted, So he was wrong for that. Then
- 59:31Speaker 1: she asked if his insurance policy covered rentram car, and
- 59:36Speaker 1: then he said he didn't include that in his policy
- 59:40Speaker 1: because he would have raised his premium. I don't know
- 59:44Speaker 1: how much extra that is the rental car clause, and
- 59:47Speaker 1: I don't know how much that raises the premium. But
- 59:50Speaker 1: I was always taught that an ounce of prevention is
- 59:53Speaker 1: worth a pound of cure, and right now a rental
- 59:57Speaker 1: car is the pound of cure. He would have saved
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: himself some problems with that, a little bit of money
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: to just pay for that clause and his insurance problems. Now,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: when I come back, I will show you what's really
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: wrong here, because she had some notions about him not
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: being able to do the same thing my ship. When
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you come back. All right, thank you, Steve. We'll have
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Subject forward today's Strawberry letter. He
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: assumed I was stupid. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: after this. You're listening morning show, All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject he assumed I was stupid. Well,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I don't know if he assumed he was stupid, but
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he was stupid for assuming. In this latter he got
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: his car fix. The woman she asked him to come
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: pick him up here riding home, told her that his
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: car is gonna be in the shop four week. She
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: had plans of dropping the man off at home and
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: going to dinner with some coworkers. She got to the
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: man's house and went to the bathroom. She came out.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: He had a suitcase house. She asked him man if
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: he was going somewhere. He said, I'm gonna come over
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: here and stay at your house for a week, so
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I ain't got to rent no car and you ain't
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: got to run around picking me up. She was offended
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: because he assumed that he could come and stay at
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: her house, and she's absolutely correct. He should not have assumed.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: He should have asked this woman, Hey, I was just thinking,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: do you think it would be okay if I stayed
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: at your house? Because I don't have a car and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Mike needs something to look I hate to be a bother,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: but you know, blah blah blah blah, it would have
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: sounded better, but you assumed. Then the woman turned around
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and ask him that his insurance policy covered at him.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: He said he didn't put it in his policy because
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: he wanted to boost up the premiums. Well, now we
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: got a little bit of thing. Go run here, because
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: the guy is dead wrong for assuming this. But now
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: she was disappointed in him for assuming he could stay
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: at his house and he could use my car without
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: asking me first. She's absolutely correct in this. But now
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the dude there was another party. Now I wanted to
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: show him, ask him if he goes anyway. I might
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: have missed that point. But anyway, she's a hard working
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: independent woman. Here we go. This is the part these
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: men I'm meeting nowadays thinks okay to lean on a
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: woman for support or have the woman go out of
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: her way for them. Um Man, that's a bad look, fellas.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: And for her to be feeling that way, obviously she's
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: been dealing with jet that in her relationship and she
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: probably thought to herself, Okay, here we go again. Dude
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: was wrong. And for assume that he doesn't want to
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: gulp insurance policy premis go up, so he left that out.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Then she says, here's the biggest show I had with
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: all this. If the roles were reversed, I could never
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: assume I'm staying at his house. So oh whoa, Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: so now you're dating a guy and you said if
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the roles were reversed, I could never assume I'm staying
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and at his house. My question is, and you know
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: this exactly, and you know this, and then he wouldn't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: let me drive his BMW for a week. Wait, a minute,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: and you know this, And he wouldn't even offer to
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: drop me at work and pick me up. Wait a minute,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and you know this? What the hell you dating this dude? Fault?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: You dating a dude who won't go out of his
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: way for you at all? And you know this. So
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: after heated discussion, I left him at the house and
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: he went to dinner with my co worker. Later that night,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: he broke up with me, and I was stunned. Am
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I wrong for having such high standards? Wait a minute,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry your standards aren't high enough. Excuse me? Why
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: are you stunned? Here's a dude that would not offer
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to let you stay at his house if your car
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: broke down. Here's a dude who would not let you
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: drive his car if your code car broke down. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: here's a dude who won't pick you up and drop
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: you off at work if your car broke down. Now
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: you stunned because you broke up? What? I was stunned
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that she was stunned? Right, I'm stunned that this is
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: who you're dating. YEA, Knowing all that you know about
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: this young man, you're still in it. Here's y'all's problem.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: This must not be a serious relationship. It can't be.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: And the two of you don't have a clear definition
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: of what you are. Because if this is your man
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: and you are his woman, all these stuff y'all having
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: problems within this letter seemed to me would be automatic.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: If this is my woman, why would I have a
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: problem with her staying at my house? Fore, if this
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: is your man, why would you have a problem with
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: him staying at your house? This one? But the real
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: problem is he assumed some things about you, and you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: know some things about him. He assumed he should stay
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: with you, drive your car and you pick him up
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: and taking work. You know you couldn't stay with him.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: You can't drive his car and he've hit to pick you.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I'm dropping off. We don't have a mat chick, Yeah,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: because we don't have a relationship. So you went out
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: to dinner with your girlfriend, you came back and your friend,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: and now he tell you he breaking up with me
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: because you're not a team player. Well, the problem is,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: ain't either one of y'all team players. So what we're
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: talking about him? You're not a team player. He's not
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a team player. Don't neither one of y'all. This ain't
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: a team, y'all got y'all theyn't got a team, So
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I don't know what? Yeah, you know, you ain't got
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: nothing here? Keep it moving, hell, y'all. Why y'all seeing
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: each other's ragney ragnheads relationship y'all got and you stunned
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: because he broke up? Hell not he stunned because you
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: won't let him stay with him. Yeah, but he was
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: wrong for so many issues. At least ask a woman,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: give her the courtesy. Yeah, but then the reason you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: really ain't got no renter cause you ain't want your
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: premium zone. Okay, flat, definitely a red frid flat. That's smiling, lady,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: y'all needed you need to say good riddence to this
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: and calling about your business. All right, you're right, Steve,

- 1:15:04Speaker 1: thousand dollar reward to the person responsible for the immediate
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: and safe return of the missing tiger named India in Houston,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the one that's just been roaming around. They caught his owner,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: but they did what did he do with that thing? Man?
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: She lives in Yeah, she does live in Florida. I
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: was trying to think. Yeah, well, the last time that
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: the tiger was seen was around a week ago. He
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: was just roaming around in the front yard of a
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: West Houston neighborhood. Remember that, it was all over the news.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: The tiger's owner, Victor Hugo Queva, is free from jail
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: out on bond right now, and he and his lawyer
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: are working with authorities to help find India. India's the tiger.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Baston wants him too. Yeah, yeah, but it got away. Yeah,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: it ain't got away. He didn't hear that thing. It
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: ain't got away. Damn what okay, okay, hold on, what
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: do you mean he had it? I don't understand. Like
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: when the guy had to when the guy had the
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: gun in the neighborhood and pointing it at this tiger,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the kid, the guy comes and gets the tiger and
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: takes him into the house. He came and got it.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: So now what happened after that? That's what doesn't make sense. Right. Well,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I not listening out of nine month old tigers roaming around. Okay,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: let him roll through field. War you your tiger ain't
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: gonna last two day long. Somebody had tiger car seats? Well,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: have more of the Harvey Morning Show coming up in
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after right after this You're listening show. Well,
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: this is a sad story right here. According to Beet,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: our friend R and B singer Tank has revealed that
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: he is losing his hearing. Tank posted on his ig
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: account that he is going completely deaf in one year
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: one ear and losing hearing and the other Tanks said
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: that he is dizzy, can't walk straight line. Just take
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: a listen, please. So I'm going through something right now,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: and I want to use my situation to encourage your situation.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I'm going completely deaf in my right air and I'm
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: kind of losing sound in my left. I'm dizzy, can't
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: walk a straight line. All of this out of nowhere.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Don't know how or why. Seeing the doctor's got MRI
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: and all that good stuff going on, medication, you know
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: all of that, But you know, it still hasn't given
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: me a reason to give up. Still hasn't given me
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: a reason to stop feeling like I can do and
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: be everything that I've set out to be. The goals
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: are still the same, to be great, to be the greatest,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: And I want to say that to you too, No
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: matter what you're going through, no matter where you find yourself,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: whether your body's failing you, whether your mind is failing you,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: whether your spirit is failing you, keep going, keep pushing.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I'm a document my process just to just to show
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: you the fight, just to show you that you're still
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: in it. We're still in it. So much of love
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: to you, and let's keep fighting her. Wasn't there a movie,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: an Oscar nominated movie about a drummer loser hearing a
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: ro I don't care who he's a movie out now
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: about a drummer. Yeah, I mean Lewis and you're losing
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: any one of your senses. Those five sences are critical,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: you know. But he has a great attitude, do you know? Um?
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: And we love Tank. I would definitely include prayer to
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: the equation, but you know, I'm not looking. I'm not
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: the ideal Christian by any stretch of imagination. But prayer
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: has gotten me through so many difficult moments. Of course,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I haven't lost my hearing to anything, but I've lost
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: just about everything else, I'll tell you that. And prayer
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: has been a very present help. It's const in my
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: life now, you know, sometimes not as much as it
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: should be. But I'm just telling you, man, God has
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: a very present help in the time of trouble, especially now.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: It's a shame that we wait until we get in trouble.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about Tank by any stretch of imagine.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I'm just talking about people in general. It's a shame
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: we wait till we get in a hardship before we
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: really call on him. But and I suggest that you
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: try it when you don't really need him. But when
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: is that? I've found out I've needed him more and
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: more the older I've gotten, I've really discovered a better
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: walk with him. Coming up, it is our last break
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: of the day. It is the last break of the day.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Now they say you don't need your mask, but damn it,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: you should wear your mask anywhere. I'm wearing mine. Mine.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: That's right everywhere, that's right. Take it off when you
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: get in the house, in the car, okay, and coming up,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: we'll have some I was in remarks at forty nine
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: minutes after from the One and Only Steve Harvey. Right
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to show all right, here we are, guys,
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: our last break of the day and of the week
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You got you know
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: what we forgot to do yesterday, Steve. We do it
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: every year Yesterday with Stevie Wonders birthday and we always
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: tell them happy Birthday. Yeah, yeah, we posted it though
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I posted it. Lad Man. One of the coolest dudes
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: in the world. Man, one of the real, real cool
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: dudes in this world. So listen, man, um, I want
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: to do something. I want to read a series of
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: things that I keep in my phone. I did a
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: little bit before, but I want to do quite a
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: few of them. These are things that I pull that
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: I take screenshots of, Like if I find a catchy saying,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: somebody sends me a motivational phrase, or if I get
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: you know, just something or a scripture that really registers
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: with me, and if they text it to me, I'll
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: take a screenshot of it, edit it down and then
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: save to photos. Then when I get it in my
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: photo section. I have a section in my albums called Motivation,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: and I transfer all of these things over to my
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: photo app and I put it in motivation and I
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: just have probably I don't know, let me see one
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: two three, four, one, two, three, six, nine, twelve, fourteen, fifteen.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I probably got sixty seventy of these things. I'm just
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: gonna read a few of them to you. And what
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: I do for meditation sometimes is sometimes I start my
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: day by just pulling up all of my inspirational messages
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: that I've set myself over the years, and they go
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: back quite sometimes, but these are the ones that matter
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: to me most. And so I have one and I
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: have a pack of lions that's walking and you can
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: tell that they look like they're going out on a hunt.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: It's just a huge pack of lions and they got
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: a real serious look on their face. And the caption
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: on it says, surround yourself with those on the same
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: mission as you. Surround yourself with those on the same
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: mission as you. Because when you look at lions and
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: they go out on a hunt, they all go out
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: on one accord. They're going to get something to eat.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Ain't nobody going in there playing and all this. Here, Hey,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: let's go down there and see the gazelles. Let's race now. No,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: they get serious, they get in stock Molde and they
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: got something to do. And it reminds me to constantly
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: look for people who are going in the same direction
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: as me. Here's what I've read you all before. There's
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: a picture of a carton full of probably thirty white eggs,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: and one of the eggs is gold, and the caption says,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: they laughed at me because I'm different. I looked at
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: them because they're all the same. Be yourself. Then I
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: have another one that has this lion walking across the
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: African plain. This one lion, and I mean, he got
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: a nice little pace and he looking pretty serious. And
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: it's an old African proverb. And as you see this
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: lion walking towards you, it says a lion doesn't turn
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: around when a small dog barks. And that just reminds
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: me to keep my pace going where I'm going. When
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: them a little haters started talking, them little bloggers that
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with you. You're lying, You
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: are lying, You are a person on the mission. You're
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: a lying. Here's one there's some writing in the palm
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: of a hand that says, everything you're going through is
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: preparing you for what you ask for. Everything in life
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: is a test. Always remember that you are and it's
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: preparing you for something you ask for. These testing challenges
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: that you go through, they are little things that give
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: you the experience and the knowledge to equip you with
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: the future. Here's another one. Sometimes in order to get
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: where you're going, you need to drop a few people off.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: Self explanatory. Again, sometimes in order to get where you're going,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: you need to drop a few people off. That's self explanatory.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Here's one that I took out. I don't know why
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna read to you, but it's Isaiah forty one
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: thirteen and Hebrew two and two. But they paraphrase that
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I do a motivation called Jesus calling. And on one
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: day I was reading this and said, give yourself fully
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: to the adventure of today. Walk boldly along the path
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: of life, relying on your ever present companion. You have
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: every reason to be confident, because MY presence accompanies you
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: all the days of your life and onward into eternity.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Do not give in to fear or wary those robbers
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: of abundant living. Trust me enough to face problems as
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: they come, rather than trying to anticipate them. Fix your
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: eyes on me, the author and perfector of your faith,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: and many difficulties on the road ahead will vanish before
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: you reach them. Whenever you start to feel afraid, remember
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: that I'm holding you by your right hand, and nothing
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: can separate you from my presence. I just use things
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: like that man, and like sometimes man for my morning meditation,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I just go to my motivational page and I pull
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: up stuff his one. Trust in his timing, rely on
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: his promises, wait for his answers, believe in his miracles,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: rejoice in his goodness, and relax send his presence. It
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: just lets me know the whole time that I'm never alone,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: and that I have a very present help that when
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey feel like it ain't going right, when I
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: feel like alone and I got decisions to make and
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: I don't know what to do because I have moments
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: like that. When I pray, I always feel better. Offer
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: that same suggestion to you. Find you some things that
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: motivate you along in your life, put them in your phone,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: and whenever you feel down, go back and read them.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: At a bright and real joke. If it didn't want
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: it to do again, remarks, Hey, listen, y'all talk to God.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: He'd love to hear from you for all. Steve Every
