- 1:59Speaker 6: You're think that I sure will?
- 2:04Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: deep me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man got
- 2:10Speaker 7: a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Wow man, how good has God been to me?
- 2:15Speaker 8: You know?
- 2:15Speaker 6: Today?
- 2:15Speaker 7: Let me get right to it because I'm kind of
- 2:18Speaker 7: feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure there's quite a
- 2:22Speaker 7: few of you who go through the same things today.
- 2:26Speaker 7: Today was just a little tough mourning for me because
- 2:30Speaker 7: I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You know, I
- 2:32Speaker 7: wanted to stay home a little. I'd just gotten home,
- 2:35Speaker 7: you know, I gotta go again. And sometimes, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 7: just the weight of all that you have to do
- 2:41Speaker 7: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
- 2:45Speaker 7: like doing it today. Huh. You know, I'm just talking
- 2:50Speaker 7: to those who feel this way every now and then,
- 2:53Speaker 7: and I'm assuming that would be everybody because I don't
- 2:55Speaker 7: know nobody who can just plow through this thing without
- 2:58Speaker 7: having those days.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Well, what do you do.
- 3:03Speaker 7: When it gets hard to stay up? What do you
- 3:06Speaker 7: do when it gets hard to be positive? What do
- 3:10Speaker 7: you do when it seems like things aren't happening for
- 3:14Speaker 7: you fast enough or in the timeframe that you thought
- 3:17Speaker 7: it was going.
- 3:17Speaker 6: What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 7: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:22Speaker 7: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:25Speaker 7: those days.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Because I had one of those days yesterday. It's just
- 3:29Speaker 6: a tough day.
- 3:29Speaker 7: I really can't explain it. It's nothing really in particular
- 3:33Speaker 7: bad happened. It's just I think the weight of all
- 3:41Speaker 7: that's going on started to feel heavy to me. And
- 3:47Speaker 7: so what do you do when you when you have
- 3:49Speaker 7: days like that, when it's hard to be positive, when
- 3:51Speaker 7: it's hard.
- 3:52Speaker 6: To stay up?
- 3:53Speaker 7: Okay, here's what I had to start doing this morning.
- 3:56Speaker 7: Now I haven't completed it. Can I just be real
- 4:00Speaker 7: with you. I haven't completed it, but I am processing
- 4:04Speaker 7: it out because I know what to do. You know,
- 4:07Speaker 7: been there, done that, I done, had that pain before.
- 4:09Speaker 6: I know what to do.
- 4:10Speaker 7: You know, if I sprang my finger, I know what
- 4:12Speaker 7: to do now. You know the first spraying I had,
- 4:14Speaker 7: Oh Lord, I thought it was broke. I thought i'd
- 4:17Speaker 7: go be handicalf But now if I spray my finger,
- 4:19Speaker 7: I know what to do. So since I've been in
- 4:21Speaker 7: this position, in this hole so many times before, and
- 4:25Speaker 7: God has always gotten me through it, I decided I've
- 4:28Speaker 7: got to start the process today. Want to here are
- 4:31Speaker 7: some things. Now I'm going to get to the big
- 4:34Speaker 7: one last. And one of the things I do is
- 4:39Speaker 7: I remember the plan, sit down, and I consciously think
- 4:44Speaker 7: about the goals I've set.
- 4:46Speaker 6: I go over them.
- 4:47Speaker 7: See, I've gotten mine down on an iPad so I
- 4:50Speaker 7: can pull them out anywhere I am and pull them up.
- 4:53Speaker 7: And I've got two lists that I've made. I've got
- 4:56Speaker 7: a list of things that I know I can accomplish
- 4:59Speaker 7: if I just keep working, working hard, and if it's
- 5:01Speaker 7: some couple of things just fall into place that I
- 5:04Speaker 7: can see. Then I got a list of things that
- 5:07Speaker 7: I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I have a second list,
- 5:11Speaker 7: And the heading of this list is called only God
- 5:15Speaker 7: can help me now.
- 5:16Speaker 6: And on this list it's.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Things that I'm aspiring for or things that I'm hoping
- 5:22Speaker 7: to that in order for them to happen, I absolutely
- 5:27Speaker 7: have to have God's help. That's my favorite list. It's
- 5:33Speaker 7: the list that I have of the things that I
- 5:36Speaker 7: don't see no way it can happen. I'm just operating
- 5:40Speaker 7: on faith and the hope that God hear me, and
- 5:44Speaker 7: so sometimes, man, when you got to when I have
- 5:47Speaker 7: this list of what only God can help me, now
- 5:51Speaker 7: that list is stuff that.
- 5:53Speaker 6: I cannot see.
- 5:55Speaker 7: I'm just operating on faith that God is so much
- 5:58Speaker 7: bigger than me, that he's so much more capable than
- 6:01Speaker 7: I am, that I can actually acquire some things in
- 6:05Speaker 7: my life, as he's proven to me time and time
- 6:07Speaker 7: again up to this point, that He's willing to do
- 6:10Speaker 7: for me. If I'm willing to just give him some
- 6:12Speaker 7: of my life. That's only why I can explain my
- 6:15Speaker 7: existence today. You know, I began the conversation with my wife,
- 6:20Speaker 7: how do I write a book that becomes so wildly successful?
- 6:25Speaker 6: That would be God.
- 6:26Speaker 7: That's only God, Because if you can plan to sit
- 6:29Speaker 7: down and write a wildly successful book, I'd have been done,
- 6:33Speaker 7: sat down and did it, and so would you, So
- 6:36Speaker 7: that would be God. How it got purchased to become
- 6:39Speaker 7: a movie when that was not my intent when I
- 6:42Speaker 7: wrote the book at all.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Again, that would be God right there.
- 6:47Speaker 7: It has to be, because if I can't explain it
- 6:51Speaker 7: and it is by no doing of my own, then
- 6:53Speaker 7: who did it? So when I get down in days
- 6:56Speaker 7: like this, I remember the goal. I remember the plan.
- 7:00Speaker 7: I remember the journey. I think about all the things
- 7:03Speaker 7: God has brought me through. How did I even get
- 7:05Speaker 7: to this point? Yeah, I might be having a little
- 7:07Speaker 7: bamba of a day. Yeah I was a little down yesterday. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 7: my bio rhythms is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 7: I'm just having one of those days. I feel a
- 7:16Speaker 7: little bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I
- 7:19Speaker 7: need some time off to just go and regenerate. But
- 7:22Speaker 7: right now, man, I ain't got that.
- 7:24Speaker 6: So guess what I do.
- 7:26Speaker 7: I gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering
- 7:29Speaker 7: the goals. I gotta start thinking about all the things
- 7:32Speaker 7: that God has done for me and how He's bought
- 7:34Speaker 7: me this far, and the blessings that I have instead
- 7:37Speaker 7: of what I don't have. And that's what I'm in
- 7:39Speaker 7: the process of doing this morning, And on the commercial breaks,
- 7:42Speaker 7: I'm gonna pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go
- 7:44Speaker 7: over my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little
- 7:47Speaker 7: list of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm
- 7:49Speaker 7: gonna really read that only God can Help Me Now list,
- 7:52Speaker 7: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
- 7:55Speaker 7: I've been telling y'all, I said, quit telling God how
- 7:58Speaker 7: big your problems are, and start telling your problems how
- 8:01Speaker 7: big your God is. See, And that's what I got
- 8:04Speaker 7: to sit down and do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 8:07Speaker 7: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 8:12Speaker 7: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
- 8:17Speaker 7: because sometimes it feels like you're running on a treadmill
- 8:20Speaker 7: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
- 8:22Speaker 7: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when you get
- 8:25Speaker 7: that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still. And then
- 8:29Speaker 7: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 8:35Speaker 7: You're in a fight, mam.
- 8:36Speaker 6: I told you this.
- 8:37Speaker 7: Now you're in a fight now. So he trying to
- 8:39Speaker 7: get you to get on that positive train so he
- 8:41Speaker 7: can get you off the faith train. So God's delivery
- 8:44Speaker 7: package that's coming to you built on your faith that
- 8:47Speaker 7: you can. He can shake your faith and get you
- 8:49Speaker 7: to thinking negative and then he wins. See, so when
- 8:52Speaker 7: you start feeling negative, just know that that's the other
- 8:55Speaker 7: force trying to throw you off track.
- 8:57Speaker 6: And when you get through it all that he is
- 8:58Speaker 6: the key to big one you want. Let me tell
- 9:00Speaker 6: it to you.
- 9:00Speaker 7: You got to pray, man, You got to pray. You
- 9:04Speaker 7: got to take it to God. You got to say God,
- 9:06Speaker 7: look I'm having one of these days. I need your help.
- 9:09Speaker 7: I got business to take care of. You got blessings
- 9:11Speaker 7: in front of me. You got stuff you can ship
- 9:13Speaker 7: to me. You got blessings and packages that's on the way.
- 9:16Speaker 7: I need to be sitting on Faith streets so I
- 9:18Speaker 7: can receive the delivery when it gets there. What I
- 9:21Speaker 7: don't want to do is be it on be undoubted
- 9:23Speaker 7: way or lack of understanding parkway, or Pity parkway or
- 9:30Speaker 7: some street like that, and the package keep going by.
- 9:33Speaker 7: I need to be standing and sitting on Faith street,
- 9:36Speaker 7: so when you drop that package down to me, I
- 9:39Speaker 7: can go on and get it.
- 9:40Speaker 6: You feel me.
- 9:41Speaker 7: You got to pray. You got to stay still, you
- 9:44Speaker 7: gotta fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan.
- 9:47Speaker 7: You got to go over the goals. Come on, man,
- 9:49Speaker 7: God and brought you too far. Come on, pick yourself
- 9:52Speaker 7: up today. I'm talking to Steve Varvy this morning, and
- 9:55Speaker 7: I hope y'all didn't.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Mind you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
- 10:07Speaker 7: I'm talking to everybody in waste management, everybody down that
- 10:11Speaker 7: post office, all the drivers out there talking about, anybody
- 10:15Speaker 7: on their way to work, anybody just getting off work,
- 10:17Speaker 7: anybody out there looking for work. I'm talking to the
- 10:21Speaker 7: gamely employed. I'm talking to the unemployed. If you're in
- 10:25Speaker 7: the hospital, I'm hollering at you, if you locked up,
- 10:29Speaker 7: if you locked up, I'm hollering at you.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Listen to me. God is in the blessing business.
- 10:36Speaker 7: Believe that if you believe that, that puts you in
- 10:41Speaker 7: a position to receive that.
- 10:44Speaker 6: That's how it works.
- 10:46Speaker 7: The things that you put out from your mind are
- 10:50Speaker 7: the things that you will attract to your being. If
- 10:54Speaker 7: you put out negativity, negativity come in your way. All
- 10:57Speaker 7: you got to do is look at all the great
- 10:59Speaker 7: haters in the world world. Look how they've all turned out.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Look how it's all going for them. Look at all
- 11:06Speaker 7: the great haters. You've ever known people who specialize in hate?
- 11:11Speaker 7: The people you know in your life that are just
- 11:13Speaker 7: hate us? Look at they life? Don't you see it?
- 11:17Speaker 7: Don't you see it? Learn from it? Be grateful, be positive,
- 11:23Speaker 7: exude positivity. Positivity has to come back. That's not to
- 11:28Speaker 7: say nothing negative will happen to you, but life is
- 11:32Speaker 7: only ten percent. What happens to you is ninety percent
- 11:34Speaker 7: how you react to it and what you do about it.
- 11:37Speaker 7: So when the negative come my way, I take that
- 11:39Speaker 7: as a positive, because you temporary anyway, you all all
- 11:43Speaker 7: this negative energy, all this negative stuff you doing. I'll
- 11:46Speaker 7: let you go on and do what you're gonna do,
- 11:47Speaker 7: because you temporary you in a way right now. Matter
- 11:51Speaker 7: of fact, you really ain't even wait. You're trying to
- 11:54Speaker 7: be a distraction. But I'm not gonna allow it. I'm
- 11:57Speaker 7: too blessed to be stressed.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Mmm.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Only where you're going now, I'm telling you, and you
- 12:03Speaker 7: gotta be careful running up on me anyway. Let me
- 12:05Speaker 7: just say this, be very careful running up here to
- 12:08Speaker 7: get me, because I ain't over here by myself.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Now. I belong to him. Hey, I'm his and he mine,
- 12:16Speaker 6: and I'm covered.
- 12:18Speaker 7: So you can come from if you want to, because
- 12:22Speaker 7: you're gonna find out it ain't gonna work the way
- 12:23Speaker 7: you think. Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon formed against
- 12:29Speaker 7: me shall prosper. Come on, I have seen it too
- 12:32Speaker 7: many times. I have seen it too many times.
- 12:35Speaker 6: I'm good.
- 12:36Speaker 7: Well, ladies and gentlemen, we're here, Charlie Strawberry calling for real.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Mississippi Monica Junior.

- 12:45Speaker 7: nephew Tommy Junior.
- 12:46Speaker 6: Quickly, Yeah, what's going on?
- 12:50Speaker 5: No?
- 12:50Speaker 2: I just think you own it. You too blessed to
- 12:53Speaker 2: be stressed.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Bruh ain't yeh? God craised this morning, Brud Jr. Broke Junior.
- 12:59Speaker 6: When I hear hating on me, I ain't got no
- 13:01Speaker 6: time for it. I ain't got no time for it.
- 13:06Speaker 6: I ain't got no time for you.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Man.
- 13:08Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, because you're all that hating, it ain't stopping nothing.
- 13:12Speaker 7: God God for me. I keep looking up and he
- 13:16Speaker 7: keeps showing up. I'm good with that. That's my message
- 13:20Speaker 7: this morning, y'all. Hey, we about to jump off the day.
- 13:23Speaker 7: Other than the moment I just had right here, the
- 13:25Speaker 7: rest of the day, Steve Harvey gonna be straight ignorant.
- 13:31Speaker 7: I'm gonna do what he made. I'm finna be ignorant today,
- 13:34Speaker 7: Shirley call it. I'm gonna embarrass you.

- 14:29Speaker 8: Hello.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Hello, I'm trying to reach a Trevor please.
- 14:34Speaker 8: Okay, Yeah, that's name, sir.
- 14:36Speaker 11: You purchased a navy blue from a used car lot
- 14:41Speaker 11: dealership called car Lot.
- 14:43Speaker 6: I don't know, maybe six or seven months ago, am
- 14:46Speaker 6: I right?
- 14:47Speaker 8: Right, it was six months ago.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Okay, Now you've.
- 14:50Speaker 11: Been paying notes on this car, I know, for the
- 14:52Speaker 11: last six months, right, And you know I hate to
- 14:55Speaker 11: be a burden of bad news. Actually, my name is
- 14:59Speaker 11: Detective Justin, and I'm giving you a call to let
- 15:02Speaker 11: you know that the actual vehicle, this Navy Blue that
- 15:06Speaker 11: you purchased, is actually.
- 15:09Speaker 6: A stolen vehicle.
- 15:11Speaker 11: And we've actually been looking for this car for the
- 15:13Speaker 11: last uh, I've been pretty much close to a year now,
- 15:16Speaker 11: maybe a little over a year, we've been looking for
- 15:18Speaker 11: this I work in the Auto theft division and uh,
- 15:22Speaker 11: hold on, Detective Justin, sir, and I'm in the Auto
- 15:27Speaker 11: theft division here at the police department.
- 15:33Speaker 12: I think you got the wrong I think you got
- 15:35Speaker 12: the wrong guys man, because.
- 15:38Speaker 8: Was it.
- 15:40Speaker 11: No, sir, it's it's it's And I've done the trace
- 15:43Speaker 11: on on and I know this is probably a shock
- 15:45Speaker 11: to you, but we're we're right on point with this thing.
- 15:48Speaker 6: You've got the Navy Blue, you did buy it.
- 15:50Speaker 11: You did buy it at the carlt dealership, and that
- 15:53Speaker 11: uh and it's the exact one and the license plate, sir,
- 15:56Speaker 11: they do match up. And uh, I know this is
- 15:59Speaker 11: a bit of a shock to you. But your car
- 16:01Speaker 11: is actually a stolen car. So the dealership, sir, actually
- 16:06Speaker 11: sold you a stolen car.
- 16:09Speaker 6: And I know you did not know that.
- 16:11Speaker 11: I know that it was not any information that you
- 16:13Speaker 11: already knew, and I know you thought that you were
- 16:15Speaker 11: just purchasing a legitimate car.
- 16:17Speaker 6: But you have a stolen car, mister Trevor.
- 16:20Speaker 12: And no, no, I think you got the wrong person,
- 16:24Speaker 12: because this car is not stolen for real.
- 16:27Speaker 4: This is sir.
- 16:29Speaker 11: I can go all day with you and try to
- 16:31Speaker 11: make you understand what's going on here, and I know
- 16:33Speaker 11: it's probably some some blurry information that's not clear to you,
- 16:37Speaker 11: but at the end of the day, your car is stolen.
- 16:40Speaker 11: I am gonna have to either get someone to come
- 16:42Speaker 11: out and impound it or you.
- 16:46Speaker 12: No, no, I think y'all might need to go back
- 16:48Speaker 12: over y'all records, man, because I think y'all real. I
- 16:51Speaker 12: think y'all got the wrong person.
- 16:53Speaker 8: It's sir.
- 16:54Speaker 11: I'm gonna tell you once and I'm gonna tell you again.
- 16:57Speaker 11: You have a car that's stolen that I have to
- 17:00Speaker 11: have in my possession by the end of the day.
- 17:02Speaker 13: Now, can't get the end of the day for real.
- 17:04Speaker 11: Man, you got, sir, you have a stolen car and
- 17:08Speaker 11: you're gonna need to bring that car into the police
- 17:10Speaker 11: station so we can get this thing rectified.
- 17:15Speaker 12: For real, man, hold on, let me talk about this. Man,
- 17:17Speaker 12: I don't know the autist she's telling me.
- 17:19Speaker 11: For real, Sir, I understand what you're saying, but do
- 17:21Speaker 11: you realize you're talking to a police officer here. I
- 17:25Speaker 11: am detective. I am detective justin.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I am over who you are.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Man Hold them is no longer, sir.
- 17:35Speaker 11: We've had to actually shut them down for the time
- 17:37Speaker 11: being until we get quite a few cars rectified that.
- 17:41Speaker 11: I've got more than just your vehicle, Sir, that's been
- 17:43Speaker 11: that that has auto theft.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Tied to it. That's two things.
- 17:49Speaker 11: Either you're gonna bring it to me or I'm gonna
- 17:51Speaker 11: come get it now. Which one do you want to
- 17:53Speaker 11: do to get?
- 17:55Speaker 8: For real?
- 17:55Speaker 11: Sir, I don't want to have this to have to

- 22:21Speaker 10: my mother in law has a bad habit of calling
- 22:23Speaker 10: me before I get off work to ask me to
- 22:26Speaker 10: stop by the store for her. It's always four or
- 22:28Speaker 10: five items and after I've worked all day.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I don't want to shop for her. My husband refuses
- 22:34Speaker 2: to do it, so can I refuse to.
- 22:37Speaker 7: No, you don't want to do that, But this is
- 22:40Speaker 7: what you do. Stop answering the phone. Stop answering that
- 22:47Speaker 7: phone call. You know what it'll get about. It's rightful
- 22:51Speaker 7: you get off work. Don't answer the phone call. Just
- 22:56Speaker 7: say I was busy, something happened. Then if she called,
- 23:01Speaker 7: and then right after that you get to call from him,
- 23:04Speaker 7: then you know it's him calling for her.
- 23:07Speaker 6: I need some corn meal and something.
- 23:11Speaker 7: Ain't nobody finn to do all that? Don't do don't
- 23:13Speaker 7: don't pick up neither one of them phone calls to
- 23:15Speaker 7: you at home.
- 23:17Speaker 10: I want to do it for huh, Why won't her
- 23:21Speaker 10: own son do it for his mom's his mom?
- 23:24Speaker 2: Just get an app and order it.
- 23:26Speaker 7: And and I need a green onion and I need
- 23:28Speaker 7: a yellow No, well yeah, yeah, call is right. Get
- 23:34Speaker 7: an app and just have it sent over to the house.
- 23:36Speaker 7: You ain't got to run yourself raggety.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Some vinegar too. But surely, even if it's your son,
- 23:44Speaker 6: you don't wan't do nothing every day for nobody.
- 23:47Speaker 2: He should get the app. He should do all of that.
- 23:51Speaker 6: Wait a minute, Charlotte srey, this is clo question. You
- 23:56Speaker 6: got you right? Okay, do you think I cannot? Can
- 24:00Speaker 6: I just say mine?
- 24:01Speaker 8: Now?
- 24:02Speaker 6: I told you I was going to embarrass you today.
- 24:04Speaker 2: I'm not embarrassed.
- 24:05Speaker 6: But go ahead.
- 24:05Speaker 2: You're right as you feel. I'm not embarrassed.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Yeah, so you're like, you know we can get that
- 24:13Speaker 6: in the Strawberry letter.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I did not say I didn't like it.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Well, okay, go ahead, baby, No, you go ahead baby.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Too.
- 24:26Speaker 6: See right there. See you're gonna run your raggedy I'm
- 24:31Speaker 6: not sure to do it. Are you done?
- 24:32Speaker 2: Are you done with this answer? Because it was really good?
- 24:35Speaker 6: I liked it. Are you still in the stoke? Because
- 24:40Speaker 6: if you're still in there, uh, bring some sugar too.
- 24:45Speaker 10: Amber and Nashville says, my four year old daughter yelled
- 24:48Speaker 10: out during church that she was ready to go, so
- 24:51Speaker 10: my husband took her aside.
- 24:53Speaker 2: He took her outside.
- 24:54Speaker 10: After church, the pastor told us that our child isn't
- 24:57Speaker 10: welcome until she learns how to Did he go too far?
- 25:01Speaker 2: Should we leave the church?
- 25:03Speaker 8: Well?
- 25:04Speaker 6: You know absolutely, you know both y'all wrong.
- 25:10Speaker 7: I mean the pastor gonna put y'all across the baby.
- 25:12Speaker 7: The baby recognized that the sermon wasn't going good, and
- 25:17Speaker 7: the baby just the baby just blurted it out. We
- 25:21Speaker 7: need to get out of here. You to say that already,
- 25:26Speaker 7: you know, now the baby shouldn't have said that out loud,
- 25:32Speaker 7: because you got to teach your child appropriate moments to
- 25:35Speaker 7: talk and to say stuff. Now you're gonna quit the
- 25:39Speaker 7: church so your baby can go to the next church
- 25:41Speaker 7: and blurt stuff out.
- 25:42Speaker 6: You got to teach your child some discipline.
- 25:44Speaker 7: But at the same time, now he mad your baby
- 25:48Speaker 7: ain't welcome because he'd have called him out. The baby
- 25:52Speaker 7: just saw It's like that video that went viral out
- 25:54Speaker 7: here when they put that little mic in in in
- 25:57Speaker 7: that little boy's face and he he said he don't
- 26:00Speaker 7: like this church no more or something yees yeah yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 7: and just walked off. He had the little jeans roll
- 26:06Speaker 7: up at the bottom so they could last two summers,
- 26:09Speaker 7: you know. And you know, man, it happened like that,
- 26:13Speaker 7: so I you know, maybe the baby was right. The
- 26:16Speaker 7: pastor was wrong for telling you that the baby ain't
- 26:18Speaker 7: welcome no more. I mean, come on, like that, ain't that?
- 26:22Speaker 6: Ain't that? Ain't who are you?
- 26:24Speaker 11: Now?
- 26:24Speaker 6: You got to get out because she yell, I'm rested
- 26:26Speaker 6: to go.
- 26:27Speaker 7: Yeah, all this here, ain't nobody shouting, Ain't nobody saying,
- 26:33Speaker 7: ain't man?
- 26:34Speaker 6: Why is we listening to this dry message today? Ain't
- 26:37Speaker 6: nobody to say it?
- 26:38Speaker 15: Ain't man?
- 26:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I know it's time to go. So both of
- 26:44Speaker 7: y'all wrong. But no, I wouldn't leave the church. Well
- 26:51Speaker 7: you know that that ain't a good pastor to do
- 26:54Speaker 7: some stuff like that. Your baby not welcome you though, Yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 7: that's just not a good pastor right there.
- 27:00Speaker 6: I'm sorry, though, I'm sorry. I need to work on
- 27:02Speaker 6: his PICSSA.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Go ahead, Shelly, Okay, that was a wonderful answer to you.
- 27:11Speaker 10: I know it was, Lenny, and Tulsa says, I've been
- 27:13Speaker 10: married for fourteen years and everything I do is wrong
- 27:17Speaker 10: in my wife's eyes. I simply hugged her friend, and
- 27:20Speaker 10: I said she smelled good. It was not meant to
- 27:22Speaker 10: be flirtatious at all. I'm still sleeping on the couch
- 27:26Speaker 10: three days later. Was that wrong for saying it here?
- 27:29Speaker 6: Yeah? Dog, you got to keep that to yourself. Boy.
- 27:34Speaker 7: You could hug her for rehire, but you can't come
- 27:37Speaker 7: out of that talking about no lord a man, Shelly,
- 27:44Speaker 7: what did he say one more time. What did he say?
- 27:48Speaker 2: He said that he hugged her and said she smelled good.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Yeah, that's too much. Dog, could have just hugged and
- 27:58Speaker 6: let it go.
- 28:00Speaker 5: No.
- 28:01Speaker 7: See, the problem is you ain't hugged your wife and
- 28:04Speaker 7: told her she smelled good in a long time and
- 28:07Speaker 7: they've been married like fourteen years. Yeah, yeah, it's over, adult,
- 28:14Speaker 7: it's over. It's been over for a while. See, anything
- 28:18Speaker 7: you do.
- 28:18Speaker 6: Now it ain't gonna work. Now. You shouldn't have did that.
- 28:21Speaker 6: That was stupid, man, You smell good?
- 28:24Speaker 7: Yeah, that was stupid. Though you can't you can't say
- 28:27Speaker 7: everybody heard you. Yeah, you got to say that to yourself.
- 28:31Speaker 7: You got to go in the bathroom, man, and shut
- 28:33Speaker 7: the door and go.
- 28:36Speaker 6: That was that feel right?
- 28:37Speaker 7: Hell boy, that's how I want my woman to smell.
- 28:43Speaker 7: He said, all that in the bathroom by yourself. That's
- 28:48Speaker 7: how a woman spost to smell. Right there. This hell
- 28:51Speaker 7: I'm with. Oh, I'm so sick of white diamonds by
- 29:00Speaker 7: and Lizabeth Taylor perfume me these days? Anyway, see an answer?

- 29:20Speaker 10: dating profile is still active online.
- 29:23Speaker 6: He said.
- 29:23Speaker 10: Girls still message him, but he's not dating anyone else.
- 29:26Speaker 10: Why well, then why won't he delete his profile because.
- 29:30Speaker 6: He's still dating all the people?
- 29:33Speaker 8: What what? What?

- 48:44Speaker 5: everything off.
- 48:45Speaker 8: I want you to keep the downstairs open and keep

- 52:43Speaker 5: I gotta get to work.
- 52:44Speaker 8: Okay, Now listen, Quincy, one last thing. Are you able

- 52:55Speaker 8: breaker downstairs? Go ahead and turn it.
- 52:56Speaker 5: I'm not shutting off no breaker downstairs. I shut off
- 52:59Speaker 5: the water stairs. We didn't turn it on. Everything down
- 53:02Speaker 5: here you didn't have. I got the blender. I didn't

- 56:46Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 56:47Speaker 10: A few subjects if it's not three, don't call me.
- 56:50Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm divorced and I met a man
- 56:54Speaker 10: that wanted a relationship with me, but I wasn't ready
- 56:57Speaker 10: for a commitment yet. He used to call me his
- 56:59Speaker 10: fun friend because we hung out and got drunk and
- 57:02Speaker 10: then we'd have a lot.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Of great sex. I could go a few days without
- 57:06Speaker 2: talking to him.
- 57:07Speaker 10: But then he started getting caught up and he wanted
- 57:10Speaker 10: a relationship I had to bring him back to reality
- 57:13Speaker 10: by doing a threesome with him and one of my coworkers.
- 57:17Speaker 10: Adding a woman to the mix threw him off. He
- 57:20Speaker 10: said that he really did like me, but it is
- 57:22Speaker 10: crystal clear that I'm just with him for sex. He
- 57:26Speaker 10: stopped calling me and he wouldn't answer my calls. I
- 57:29Speaker 10: started to miss this man, and I realized after about
- 57:32Speaker 10: three weeks that I wanted to be with him. So
- 57:35Speaker 10: I popped up at the lounge where we met. He
- 57:38Speaker 10: noticed me and came over to say hello. I poured
- 57:42Speaker 10: my heart out and admitted that I was stupid to
- 57:45Speaker 10: let him go, and I apologized for bringing my coworker
- 57:49Speaker 10: to have sex with us without asking him first. He
- 57:52Speaker 10: told me it's all good, and he said he's moved
- 57:56Speaker 10: on and he is just going with the flow.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I asked if we could go to his house to
- 58:02Speaker 2: talk and have makeup sex.
- 58:04Speaker 10: He said I could come by later, so I went
- 58:07Speaker 10: home to freshen up, and when I walked into his house,
- 58:10Speaker 10: my coworker that we had a threesome with was on
- 58:14Speaker 10: the sofa. He laughed in my face that they've been
- 58:18Speaker 10: hooking up since he ghosted me. He said he should
- 58:21Speaker 10: have known. I was trashy early on when I told him,
- 58:25Speaker 10: if it's not three, don't call me, meaning I'm into threesomes.
- 58:29Speaker 10: I left hurt and embarrassed. I thought that all men
- 58:33Speaker 10: liked threesomes. I was trying to be cool, but I
- 58:36Speaker 10: had it all wrong. Did he invite me over to
- 58:39Speaker 10: be cruel and seek revenge? But why all right, listen, Yes,
- 58:44Speaker 10: of course he did all of that to get back
- 58:46Speaker 10: at you. Yeah, laughing your face, all of that because
- 58:49Speaker 10: you heard him. Obviously, he was mad that you rejected
- 58:53Speaker 10: him early on. He was ready for a relationship, but
- 58:56Speaker 10: you said you weren't ready for a commitment, and so
- 59:00Speaker 10: to you know, to fend off his advances and everything,
- 59:02Speaker 10: you introduced him to a threesome with your coworker. That
- 59:07Speaker 10: was your mistake. You do realize that, and now you
- 59:11Speaker 10: want the man back. Well, a lot has happened in
- 59:15Speaker 10: those three weeks you were gone, and you missed out
- 59:17Speaker 10: on a good man. He didn't even want a threesome,
- 59:21Speaker 10: and you basically forced it on him because you say
- 59:25Speaker 10: you thought that's what men liked, well, not this man.
- 59:28Speaker 10: So the lesson here is that you know, if the
- 59:31Speaker 10: man doesn't bring it up threesomes. That is why are
- 59:34Speaker 10: you bringing this up?
- 59:35Speaker 4: Why?
- 59:35Speaker 2: Why are you introducing this into your relationship?
- 59:39Speaker 10: Just because you're not ready for a serious relationship, That
- 59:42Speaker 10: doesn't mean you should introduce your man to a threesome.
- 59:46Speaker 10: Where's the logic in that? I mean, threesomes aren't for everyone.
- 59:51Speaker 10: There aren't for everyone, and you were just doing something.
- 59:54Speaker 10: Now he no longer respects you, he no longer wants you,
- 59:57Speaker 10: and now he's with your co worker. He called you trashy,
- 1:00:01Speaker 10: but your coworker was also in that threesome. Maybe she
- 1:00:04Speaker 10: gets a pass because he didn't have feelings for her
- 1:00:07Speaker 10: at the time. Now you have to move on because
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: he clearly has. He clearly has.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: Steve's doomed from the beginning.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: I don't understand people. I mean, look, you can do
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: what you want to do.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: This is a free world, and it's a fallen one too,
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: So we more open about everything now than we've ever been.
- 1:00:29Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: So, and then you recorded and you got cyberspace it.
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: This whole thing just is wrong for him to get go.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: You divorced, You met a man who wanted to have
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: relationship with you, but you wasn't ready for a commitment,
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: So he started calling you his fun friend. Y'all hung out,
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: got drunk, had great sex, and you could go some
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: days without talking to him. But then the man you
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: say he got caught up, started having feelings for you
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: and wanted a relationship.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: So this was your idea.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: You said, I had to bring him back to reality
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: by doing a threesome with him and one of my coworkers.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: That's how you bring him back to reality. Dad was
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: a good idea. Adding a woman to the mix threw
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: him off.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: He said, he really did like me. Now this man
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: really liked you, Crystal clear, and I'm just with him
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: for the sex.
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: So he stopped calling you, and he wouldn't answer your
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: calls because now you fooled it. See, he thought he
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: had something that you really weren't, and he thought he
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: had something special, and you don't even think you special.
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: See that's why I tell women all the time, you
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: always gotta keep yourself special, because that's how we gonna
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: treat it. See, we're gonna treat it the way you
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: treat it. If you think your thing is special when
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: we get it, that's how we gonna treat it. But
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: if you don't think it special, what you what you
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: what you want us to do, and this is a
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: prime example of that. You passed it around to the
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: coworker girl and to him, so he went, oh, okay,
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: I thought she was just right here, but she really ain't. Anyway,
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: he stopped calling. You wouldn't take your calls. Then you
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: started to miss this man and realize after about three
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: weeks that you really wanted to be with him. So
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: you popped up at the lounge.
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: Where we met. He noticed me, came over to say hello,
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: and poured your heart out. Admit it. I was stupid
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: to let him go.
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: I apologized for bringing you cowork in to have sex
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: with his lives in first he said it's all.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: Good now, he said, now i'd have moved on. I'm
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: just going with the flow now. So okay.
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: So now, when I thought I could have something with somebody,
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: you tricked me and told me you was tricking. So
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: now I'm off that right now, I'm just going with
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: the flow. When we come back, I'm gonna show you
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: how to flow go, because he told you at the lounge.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: Lope right, I'll tell you how to flow go.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: Steve coming up in twenty three minutes after we'll recap
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: today's strawberry letter. We'll have part two of Steve's response.
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: This subject is if it's not three, don't call me.
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:17Speaker 10: Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:53Speaker 1: or your money back?
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:57Speaker 10: The subject if it's not three, don't call me?
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: Well, okay, you got a divorce. You met a man
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: really liked you, You wasn't ready for a commitment. Then
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: after a while he started catching feelings for you. You
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: thought you'd bringing back the reality a byt inviting the
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: threesome into y'all's bedroom. So you had a lady co
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: work at your job, come over and y'all had a
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: threesome together. Okay, kind of threw the man off, and
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: so he said, wow, he thought he had something special
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: with you because he really liked you. He got upset
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: because you brought this woman in. He thought he had
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: something special cause he really liked you. So now he
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: quit calling you and returning your calls, and he don't
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: want to have nothing to do with you. And then
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: after three weeks, you missed the man and you realized, wow,
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: I like this guy, and so you decided to catch
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: up with him. So since you wouldn't have turned your calls,
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: you went to the lounge where y'all met. He noticed
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: you over there. He went up to you and spoke
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: to you. Then you poured your heart out, admitted you
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: was stupid to let him go. You apologize for bringing
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: your cowork and have sex with us without asking him first.
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: He told me it's good, he said he'd have moved on,
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: and now he just going with the flow. See, you
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: created this monster. Now you went up. Now you met
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: the monster you created. He just going with the flow.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: So now you asked right there, here you go again
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: and taking it upon yourself. You don't know how to follow. No, lead.
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: You always leading. I asked, could we go to his
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: house to talk and have makeup sex. That's what you said.
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: You just went up to the lounge, so you thought,
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: give him a little bit more and then y'all be
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: right back to go. He said you could come by later,
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: so you went on to the house and freshened up.
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: Right then you walked into his house and the coworker
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: that y'all had the threesome with was sitting on the sofa.
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: Uh oh. He laughed in my face and said they've
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: been hooking up since he ghosted me. He said he
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: should have known I was trashy early on when I
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: told him, if it's not three, don't call me. Wait
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: a minute, that's your that's your mantra. So now you're
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: sitting up in here, and now he told you he
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: knew you was trashy. And when you told him, if
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: it's not three, don't call me, meaning I'm in the threesomes,
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: I left hurt and embarrassing.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: I thought, all men, like three, have you been listening
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: to this show?
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I knew you were going to get to that.
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: I told you more than one time. I feel about it.
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: I am not the one clear it was something more
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: than I thought it was. I did not know what hell,
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: what's going on here? It was one of the most
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: traumatic experiences.
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: Of my life. I've scored from that. I'm you you.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: Oh it's growing now, isn't that?
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: I was?
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: Well, I was in my forties, he's in my forties.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Anyway, can you come back?
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: Said no, No, I ain't. I ain't recovering from that
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: one yet. So I ain't got quiet now, just talking
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: right now. I was trying to be cool, but I
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: had it wrong.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: Did he invite me? I was trying to be cool,
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: but I had it all wrong. Do he invite me
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: over to be cruel and secret? Fnge? But why Well, yeah,
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: he was being mean because you hurt him. He wanted
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: you for real, and then you introduced him to the
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: Oakie dope. So now he just going with the flow.
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: He don't even want the girl that's over there, because
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: he already knows she trashy too, because he describes women's
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: who want threesomes as trashy.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: So now he just going with the flow. Now he
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: don't want a relationship.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: Now he just flowing with the trashy type chicks and
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: your girl trashy because she came in there. But she
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: a better trashy than you, because see, at least he
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: didn't like her. So let me just go and stay
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: with this, right. See that's what a man said. I'm
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: just going with the flow.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: Oh that ain't a good thing, because that's the flow,
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: funky man.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: So now yeah, and then of course he ain't gonna
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: have nothing with her because he know what she is,
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: because he thinks women who invite threesomes is trashy. That's
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: his opinion. He has every right to feel that way.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: So you know, she ain't got nothing. She got what
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: you didn't want, and now you want what she got.
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: But now what either one of y'all got is just
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: the flow.
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: Guy.
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: Now, let me tell y'all something about threesomes that I've discovered.
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: Threesomes have no solid footing or future. Oh it's probably exciting,
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: it's probably fun, and it's problem thrilling, and I can
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: understand how a person could feel that way.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: But threesomes have no future. You know why, because you're
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: dealing with three people.
- 1:09:10Speaker 7: It's hard enough to keep one mate happy and and
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: and be compatible with one person over a period of time.
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: There is no way to do it.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: With three because there's too many won'ts, needs, desires, it's
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: too many, too many different things going on in the threesome.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: You're trying to three people what you think, what you think?
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: What you think? What you think?
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: But it's so cool women and one man.
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: Yes, common, but it has no future because you can't
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: build a solid relationship with three people.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: All right, just.
- 1:09:53Speaker 10: Let us know what you think on Today's letter on
- 1:09:55Speaker 10: Instagram at Steve harb FM and check out the Strawberry
- 1:09:59Speaker 10: Letter podcast, the iHeartRadio app.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Hey, y'all, this is Monica, This is Spike Lee. Hey,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: this is Mary J. Blood.
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: Yo.
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: This is Steven A. Smith.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Hey, this is Chuka Kahan.
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: You have no idea what it is.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: This is Carlos Miller. And this may or may not
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: be the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. An education
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: is a transformation every day. The third Good Marshall College
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Fund transforms lives through scholarships and career advancement opportunities. Over
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: a half of billion dollars has already gone back to
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: students who needed most. We also connect companies with exceptional
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: HBCU talent through workforce development initiatives. I am a proud
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: HBCU graduate and my education helped me reach my fullest potential.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I'm continuing that tradition with my daughters, who will be
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: attending in HBCU this fall. Generational excellence continues. TMCF is
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: America's largest organization that exclusively represents the HBCU community.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Join us in being.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Part of the transformation, applied, donate, or partner with us
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: today at TMCF dot org.
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: So there are a lot of young people out here
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: that are so in love and they don't want to
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: use each other. What advice do you have for young
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: people that want to get married. Well, first of all, family.
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: You should exercise patients because, especially when you're young, because
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: the decision you're making today may not even be applicable
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: to one year from now, what you want today is
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: going to change, and what.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: You will accept and who you are if you're.
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: Young, twenty years old, twenty one, in one year, all
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: of those three things will be different. Who you are
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: will be different, what you want will be different, or
- 1:11:58Speaker 7: what you will accept will be different. All of that
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: changes over the year, I promise you it does.
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: So patience.
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: If you all really love each other, then it won't.
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: Nothing happen to it marrying a person. A pastor told
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: me something that's stuck with me. He said, when you
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: get married, the only thing that changes is the appearance
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: of your left hand third finger. So if y'all tripping
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: before you get married, when you get married, gu's what
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: you're gonna do, You're gonna be tripping. It changes nothing.
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: What it does is it's a tool that unifies people
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: under the eyes of God with some vows between you.
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: If that's meant to be, it will be that way
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: this year or two years from now. And so you
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: might as well be patient and wait, because if you
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: get married at twenty or twenty four, tell me, what's
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: the difference if you plan on being married the rest
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: of your life or you trying to get your sick.
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: She is in now, so you move on the summer.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: That's a logical, experienced answer, you know. But when you're
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: young and in love, it's hard, you know, to follow
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: those rules. I'm sure everybody's parents told you have told
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: their kids that and everything, But it's just hard when
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: you're young and have no experience and you're just in love.
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying, yeah, all right, we'll have
- 1:13:22Speaker 10: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: So this is Steve Harvey Moore on the show Man.
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: Ain't nobody playing with y'all. This show, I have said
- 1:13:31Speaker 7: a thousand times, is for enlightenment, entertainment, entertainment and inspiration.
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: And entertainment is a big part of this show. A
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: lot of lost eight listeners because you don't get to joke.
- 1:13:45Speaker 7: I'm not apologizing for nothing, and I ain't preparing no,
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: I'm sorry statement I tell yo have for living And
- 1:13:53Speaker 7: if you.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: Didn't like to joke, tune in tomorrow. I have others.
- 1:14:06Speaker 10: AJ on Steve Harvey, Wrights on Steve HARBFM Rights. My
- 1:14:09Speaker 10: girlfriend and I have a difference of opinion on how
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: to deal with my family. She's three years into medical
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: school and doing very well on her quest to be
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: an internist. With her success has come a lack of
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: respect or class from my family.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Multiple times a week we're.
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: Getting some phone call, texts, email, or in person visit
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: with some kind of medical question from everybody Grandma, Mama, pops, uncles, aunts,
- 1:14:36Speaker 10: distant cousins, god brothers, and play cousins. My girlfriend says
- 1:14:41Speaker 10: it's fine, and goes with the territory. I say we
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: start a policy of billing fifty dollars a consultation and
- 1:14:48Speaker 10: use that money toward her school bills.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Who's right on this.
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: One, Your girl is right. Just go with it. Come on, wave.
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: You the lawyer in the family, they gonna come to
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: you with legal questions. Oh you know, if you're the
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: doctor in the family, they gonna come to you for
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: medical left us.
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: We all do that. If you're the rich person in
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: the family, they gonna come to your for money. How
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: do you do this work?
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: See, it's it's it's it's whoever you are, whoever provides
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: something in the family.
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: But let me explain something to you.
- 1:15:25Speaker 7: When y'all have cookouts, whoever make the best potato saling
- 1:15:30Speaker 7: at the cookout is required to bring the potato salad.
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: Whoever do the baked beans best, they got we bring,
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: We bring. We eating Betty baked beans days. That's how
- 1:15:41Speaker 7: it worked, man, It ain't no. They got to chip
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: in and pay fifty dollars of consultation. Now that's family.
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: That's how it worked. Man.
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: To who much is given, much is required. You're not
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: getting away from that.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: They come to me for money because they think I
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: got it. Period. What did you just say? Thank?
- 1:16:03Speaker 11: Oh?
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: Wee percent right that you got Ain't nobody what listen?
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: Nobody hastening when it come to you. They came to
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: my mama for cooking advice because she could cook.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Ye, so he has to get on.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: They need protection in the family. They went to my
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: oldest brother Heavy. They down here messing with me. Who
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: I'm talking about? It wasn't even who quite as he
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: ain't even hear all the whole story.
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: Remember my father used to sell my brother off that boy,
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: boy boy, why don't you listen to what they're saying?
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: First, I got this, I'm all right, daddy listening.
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: And as soon as my sister, my sister says she
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: had problem with anything, my brother coming there with the brother,
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: my other brother say something to Heavy Man, Heavy go
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: down there.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: I'm gonna handle it. I go see by the.
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: Heavy was as Heavy just wasn't about you couldn't mess
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: with your family. Heavy was protective. Heavy just went on,
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: Now man, that's all to it. So that's it, relaxed,
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: all right.
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: So so his girlfriend is right, the medical student, that's one,
- 1:17:18Speaker 10: all right, if we have time for one more. Lelee
- 1:17:19Speaker 10: on Facebook says, my boyfriend and I have been together
- 1:17:22Speaker 10: for just over two years. We lived together for about
- 1:17:25Speaker 10: a year and when we first moved in together, we
- 1:17:28Speaker 10: would have sex almost every day. But for the last
- 1:17:31Speaker 10: few months we've only had sex a couple of times,
- 1:17:34Speaker 10: and it's been a few weeks now. It was usually
- 1:17:36Speaker 10: him who initiated sex in the past, and lately I've
- 1:17:39Speaker 10: tried to get things going, but he says he's not
- 1:17:42Speaker 10: in the mood. Should I be worried or should I
- 1:17:45Speaker 10: just be patient with him? Leely wants to know.
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: H yeah, yeah, you need to be worried. You need
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: to be worried all.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: What should she be worried about?
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: Well, you know, he initiated sex down, I mean he
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: ain't stopped. Hmmm, she said, he's always the one initiating.
- 1:18:04Speaker 7: A second, Well, he ain't stopped.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: He's just her to you.
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, I don't he somewhere. Let me explain
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: something to y'all, he said, he's not. Let me put
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: it to you this way. For the radio. It's only
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: so many bullets in a gun. So you load a gun.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: A gun only has a certain amount of bullets.
- 1:18:26Speaker 15: Uh huh.
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: Now, if you're shooting at the target, and you know
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: you got another target. You got to hit two, and
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: you then shot three bullets at this target. You gotta
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: have three for the other target. Save your bullets, Save you.

- 1:26:38Speaker 2: All right, guys, here we are this Monday. We got
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: through it. It was a good day, very good day.
- 1:26:46Speaker 8: It was.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of people don't like Mondays, but Mondays
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: are cool it. Yeah, I love Mondays.
- 1:26:52Speaker 9: All right, Steve, that.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: Leads talk to when you don't write, you say, we
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: don't get money if you don't change your tune. Okay,
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: all right, Steve.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: All right, you're darn Today.
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: I'm gonna touch on something I touched on a little
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: bit earlier, but I wanted to kind of stretch this
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: point out to you a little bit because it's a
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: combination of things. And I was watching Joe Oldstein on TV,
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: and so two things kind of stood out for me
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: because Joe Oldstein was telling people, man, not to allow
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: people to get you on the negative downturn. Now, you
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: gotta be conscious nowadays, especially with social media and the
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: Internet and all this, it's just such.
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: A hateful place at times that it can get you
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: can get caught up in it.
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: And if you're not careful, if you're not a prayerful person,
- 1:27:56Speaker 7: if you're not a person who tries to stay on.
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: The positive, you can be easily easily.
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: Be laid down the path and join forces with the
- 1:28:06Speaker 7: powers that be in the principalities of evil that just
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: want to spread evil and discontent and just dissension amongst
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: people by participating in it. And I find it all
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: too easy nowadays to find something to gripe about, to
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: find something to dislike about something somebody else is doing.
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: And instead of doing the right thing, you know, pulling
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: a person to the side, maybe pull a coat to
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: what they doing, or give them some encouragement.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Nah.
- 1:28:42Speaker 7: Sometimes, man, we have a tendency to get on the
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: bandwagon and let's discuss it and what's.
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: Wrong with them and why you think they doing this,
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: and why you think they doing that?
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: But you end up going down that path, and it's
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: a hard path to get off of because once you
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: open up your mind to negativity, once you allow that
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: evil one to premeate your thought process, or he'll he'll, he'll,
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: he'll reside there, he'll, he'll take camp, he'll set up
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: shop in you.
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: And if you ain't got God in your life, man,
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: and you're not being a prayerful person, you know, talking
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: to God every day, just you know, to have a
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: relationship with him, because God can keep you on the
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: positive path. I had a T shirt that I had
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: with the Foundation once that I was selling. I still
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: wear it all the time. People ask me about it.
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: The t shirt said, faith don't make it easy. Faith
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: doesn't make it easy. Faith makes it possible. Faith doesn't
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: make it easy. Faith makes it possible. And you know,
- 1:29:46Speaker 7: when you have a relationship with God, it just makes
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: the things that are difficult in life, the things that
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: you run across that's troubling in life, it just gives
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: you a companion.
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: And a guide to help you through it.
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: That's what you really need, is not that you need
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: the problems to disappear, because problems are not going to disappear.
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: We're in a trouble world. We live in a trouble world.
- 1:30:11Speaker 7: They're not going anywhere, So why waste your time and
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: energy wishing that problems would disappear when what you really
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: need is to strength, the wisdom, the courage, the understanding,
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: and the peace of mind to deal with the problems.
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: That's what you want.
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: You know, there are people that you have in your
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: life that know how to just handle missteps that just
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: seem like man, they just handle bad news better than
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: most people. You run into people man, where you just
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: can't get them down. You know, you got people that
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: you know. I try to be that way.
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: I really really do. You know, I'm human, but I
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: try to be that way.
- 1:30:56Speaker 7: I want to be a person man that that God's
- 1:30:59Speaker 7: light can can work with because I try to give
- 1:31:02Speaker 7: him some space in my life. I try to make
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: room for God. Just give him, give him some space
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: to work in your life. Don't be so I I
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: mean me. You know you need God, man, It's important
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: to admit that. And when you admit that, you give
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: him space to operate in your life. So when they
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: hating on you, you got somebody operating on your behalf.
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: Where you know you're gonna be all right when they
- 1:31:25Speaker 6: write you off. You got somebody in your life.
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: That you know what's working on your behind that's gonna
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: get you through it where you will be all right.
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: That's what you need.
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: The presence of God in your life for you need
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: God all right. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: Talk to God. He loved to hear from you.
- 1:31:48Speaker 17: Every second.
