- 0:01Speaker 1: I want you to understand what I'm about to say
- 0:04Speaker 1: is going to be very harsh. Some are going to
- 0:06Speaker 1: be mad at me for saying it. Some are going
- 0:08Speaker 1: to say that, uh, They're never going to listen to
- 0:10Speaker 1: me again. I'm going to have people that I'm going
- 0:12Speaker 1: to lose from this show, podcasts. They're going to say,
- 0:14Speaker 1: you know you're, you know you're, I'm done.
- 0:16Speaker 2: With you forever.
- 0:17Speaker 1: And I don't care, because these are the moments where
- 0:21Speaker 1: I think we actually learn the most about the candidates
- 0:24Speaker 1: that we don't want to run the country.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Let me give you an example of this.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Disney is now suing the Florida governor rond De Santis,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and Democrats are seizing on this, and so is the media.
- 0:36Speaker 1: They are now accusing him of a quote political effort
- 0:40Speaker 1: to hurt its business. Walt Disney Company going on offense.
- 0:45Speaker 1: This from CNBC suing the Florida governor Ronda Santis, alleging
- 0:50Speaker 1: the Republican governor has quote waged a relentless campaign to
- 0:55Speaker 1: weaponize government power over the company. This is how CNBC
- 1:02Speaker 1: started their broadcast.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Breaking news on Disney that we do want to get to.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Let's get to Julia Borsam for the very latest, Julia
- 1:08Speaker 3: Melissa Well, Disney is suing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after
- 1:12Speaker 3: just this morning, Florida's oversight board that was appointed by
- 1:15Speaker 3: Governor DeSantis declared that the agreement that Disney had made
- 1:19Speaker 3: back in February to retain control over its theme parks
- 1:22Speaker 3: tax district, that those agreements were null and void.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So now Walt.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Disney Parks and Resorts is suing Governor DeSantis over his
- 1:30Speaker 3: curtailing of Disney's autonomy. They're calling his board's action patently retaliatory,
- 1:36Speaker 3: patently anti business, and patently unconstitutional. And the media giant
- 1:40Speaker 3: is looking for adjunctive relief so it can continue to
- 1:44Speaker 3: carry out its business plans. Now, the suit says, quote,
- 1:46Speaker 3: a targeted campaign of government retaliation orchestrated at every step
- 1:51Speaker 3: by Governor DeSantis as punishment for Disney's protected speech now
- 1:56Speaker 3: threatens Disney's business operations, jeopardizes its economic future in the region,
- 2:00Speaker 3: and violates its constitutional rights. Now, of course, Melissa, this
- 2:04Speaker 3: all started back when Disney's leadership criticized Florida's so called
- 2:09Speaker 3: Don't Say Gay Bill, which banned conversations about sexual orientation
- 2:13Speaker 3: in schools.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Melissa by the way, that's very misleading from CNBC at
- 2:18Speaker 1: the very end there, what Disney did was they became
- 2:22Speaker 1: an activist company where they were going after the state
- 2:25Speaker 1: of Florida, which had given them basically autonomy, basically creating
- 2:29Speaker 1: them their own country around Disney World, and had done this,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and then they were angry and went woke, and they
- 2:37Speaker 1: decided to go after the state which had given them
- 2:41Speaker 1: the most incredible sweetheart deals they had ever seen or
- 2:44Speaker 1: imagined anywhere in the country. That is the problem. And
- 2:49Speaker 1: so then Governor DeSantis kind of went back and looked
- 2:53Speaker 1: at all of this and realized that Disney and I'm
- 2:57Speaker 1: going to quote liberal ideas here for a moment, what
- 3:00Speaker 1: is it that liberals hate? They hate people that make money,
- 3:03Speaker 1: They hate people that make a lot of money. They
- 3:04Speaker 1: hate billionaires, right, even though they'll happily take their money
- 3:07Speaker 1: like George Soros and let them buy off political campaigns
- 3:10Speaker 1: and pick and choose candidates. But the moral of them,
- 3:14Speaker 1: right of the Democrats, the socialists in these comments is
- 3:16Speaker 1: we hate everybody that makes cash. We hate corporate America,
- 3:19Speaker 1: we hate big companies. They're all evil. They should pay
- 3:22Speaker 1: their fair share, they should pay more in taxes, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Right, you start a class warfare and.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You say that anyone that does something or creates anything
- 3:31Speaker 1: massive or amazing is actually spot of satan unless.
- 3:33Speaker 2: They're on our side.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Disney makes billions and billions and billions of dollars, and
- 3:40Speaker 1: they poked the bear that allowed them the ability to
- 3:43Speaker 1: make that money in Florida. The deal that Florida gave
- 3:47Speaker 1: Disney decades ago was an unbelievable deal. And if Disney
- 3:52Speaker 1: was smart, they would have shut the hell up and
- 3:54Speaker 1: just been a business and not gone into woke activism.
- 3:57Speaker 1: They're the ones that chose this fight, the ones that
- 4:00Speaker 1: escalated this. And so when that happened, a bunch of
- 4:04Speaker 1: elected officials that liked Disney previously in Florida were like, well,
- 4:09Speaker 1: if you're gonna start giving us crap, we're gonna look
- 4:11Speaker 1: at your deals, We're gonna look at your sweetheart deals.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We're going to take a look at this and we're
- 4:15Speaker 1: going to see what we like or don't like, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: let's see how good it is. And then they realized
- 4:20Speaker 1: how good it was, Like people started reporting on this,
- 4:22Speaker 1: They're like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, Like, are
- 4:26Speaker 1: you seeing just how good this actually is. It was
- 4:30Speaker 1: a holy cow moment where people were looking at it
- 4:34Speaker 1: and they couldn't believe what they were seeing and just
- 4:37Speaker 1: how unbelievable the deal was. Then there were people that
- 4:41Speaker 1: actually got pretty angry over this. They were angry because
- 4:45Speaker 1: they couldn't believe just how good the deal was, and
- 4:48Speaker 1: then the crap they were taking from these individuals at Disney.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Disney was also lying about the bill. The bill never
- 4:56Speaker 1: said don't say gay. The bill was anti grooming law.
- 4:59Speaker 1: It was saying you can't and doctors start talking about
- 5:01Speaker 1: sexual stuff with very young children. There's nothing in there
- 5:05Speaker 1: about don't say gay. So they also lied about that.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Okay they I Disney lied, busted, and.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Now they're saying we are being persecuted. Now.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I think Ryan DeSantis is right to go to war
- 5:19Speaker 1: with Disney. I also think it's time to wrap up
- 5:22Speaker 1: that war with Disney and move on to other issues.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I think this is hurting Rond Desanta's chances of becoming
- 5:27Speaker 1: president because at some point it does look like it's
- 5:30Speaker 1: petty and it's going to become a liability instead of
- 5:32Speaker 1: an asset. You go in, you beat the crap out
- 5:35Speaker 1: of the bully, and that's what DeSantis did, and then
- 5:38Speaker 1: you eventually get up off the mat, right, And what
- 5:41Speaker 1: DeSantis has done is kept punching and punching and punching,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and now people are kind of like, okay, enough, they're
- 5:46Speaker 1: ready to move on. With that being said, and that's
- 5:49Speaker 1: just my political advice to DeSantis on this. There's another
- 5:52Speaker 1: issue that really makes me mad, and that's this I
- 5:56Speaker 1: said at the beginning. There are moments when happen when
- 6:00Speaker 1: you know that there's a person you're not going to
- 6:03Speaker 1: vote for, that are very telling about that person. And
- 6:06Speaker 1: that person today is Nicki Haley. Nicki Haley is trying
- 6:11Speaker 1: to figure out a way to get some some wind
- 6:13Speaker 1: in her sales. She's running for president of the United
- 6:15Speaker 1: States America. She's already announced it. She goes on Fox
- 6:18Speaker 1: News Channel today, and when she's on Fox News Channel today,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Nikki Haley officially invited Disney to move to South Carolina
- 6:27Speaker 1: as they are suing DeSantis. That is liberal political pandering
- 6:32Speaker 1: at its worth. I have zero respect for Nicki Haley.
- 6:36Speaker 1: This is exactly what I would expect from a Mitt
- 6:38Speaker 1: Romney or a Jeb Bush. And I'm glad that this
- 6:42Speaker 1: moment happened today on Fox News Channel, because you know
- 6:45Speaker 1: exactly what you're getting with Nicki Haley. If Haley has
- 6:49Speaker 1: directly asked a question about Disney, what she should have
- 6:52Speaker 1: said was they should have stayed out of politics. They
- 6:53Speaker 1: wouldn't be in this situation right now, and they shouldn't
- 6:56Speaker 1: have been trying lying about what's happening in Florida. But again,
- 6:59Speaker 1: nick Sky Haley is so desperate for someone to like
- 7:02Speaker 1: her that she actually sounded like a liberal today implying
- 7:07Speaker 1: that somehow Florida is a bad place and DeSantis is
- 7:10Speaker 1: a bad person for taking on Disney and their woke activism, saying,
- 7:14Speaker 1: come on down to South Carolina.
- 7:17Speaker 4: You know, as governor, I took a double digit unemployment
- 7:20Speaker 4: state and I turned it into an economic powerhouse. Businesses
- 7:23Speaker 4: were my partners, because if you take care of your businesses,
- 7:26Speaker 4: you take care of your economy. Your economy takes care
- 7:29Speaker 4: of the people and everyone wins. And so that's the
- 7:32Speaker 4: way we dealt with it. We are South Carolina was
- 7:35Speaker 4: a very anti woke state. It still is. And if
- 7:38Speaker 4: Disney would like to move their hundreds of thousands of
- 7:41Speaker 4: jobs to South Carolina and bring the billions of dollars
- 7:43Speaker 4: with them. I'll let them know I'll be happy to
- 7:45Speaker 4: meet them in South Carolina and introduce them to the
- 7:48Speaker 4: governor and the legislature that would welcome it.
- 7:51Speaker 1: This is the worst political pandering that I've heard in
- 7:54Speaker 1: a long time. I honestly thought Nikki Haley was smarter
- 7:57Speaker 1: than to take the bait. Here back, come on down
- 8:00Speaker 1: North Carolina. Right, it's a very anti woke state and
- 8:03Speaker 1: it still is. However, we'd love to get us some
- 8:05Speaker 1: Disney up in the here, get us all woke again.
- 8:07Speaker 2: We'll take those jobs.
- 8:09Speaker 1: She should have said, Look, at the end of the day,
- 8:12Speaker 1: Disney screwed up, and they should understand they screwed up,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and it's dumb to sue Ron DeSantis. She could have
- 8:17Speaker 1: said that, and actually, I think gained more supporters, not less.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I think this has actually been a positive for her,
- 8:26Speaker 1: not a negative for her. And yet there she is
- 8:30Speaker 1: and she's screwed it all up. And remember, this is
- 8:32Speaker 1: the reason why I didn't get excited about Nicki Haley,
- 8:35Speaker 1: because this is what I expected from her, and all
- 8:38Speaker 1: of a sudden, out of nowhere, in an opportunity that
- 8:41Speaker 1: she had to show that maybe she's a real conservative,
- 8:43Speaker 1: she shows her true colors. She is, in my opinion
- 8:47Speaker 1: amed Mitt Romney. Okay, she is a Mitt Romney two
- 8:52Speaker 1: point zero and that is who she is. And never
- 8:55Speaker 1: forget this moment when she showed her colors to you.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Governor Santis has come out and saying, under no circumstances
- 9:03Speaker 1: should the state of Florida be subsidizing Disney and wokeism.
- 9:07Speaker 1: He said this as he has gone on the attack
- 9:09Speaker 1: on Disney again.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Concentrations of private power must also be checked. So Big
- 9:16Speaker 5: Tech and Disney. Their complaint is, we're private entities. We
- 9:23Speaker 5: have the same rights to freedom of speech as anybody.
- 9:26Speaker 5: What are you doing messing us with us with political power?
- 9:29Speaker 5: How do you answer that?
- 9:31Speaker 6: Well, Disney is a joke because in in that late
- 9:34Speaker 6: sixties they were given by the Florida legislature their own
- 9:39Speaker 6: government in Central Florida. So they basically answered to themselves.
- 9:43Speaker 6: The whole thing was a fiction. Basically, you had a
- 9:47Speaker 6: corporation running forty square miles of territory right in the
- 9:51Speaker 6: heart of Florida, and so that had basically gone on
- 9:55Speaker 6: and was kind of untouchable just because they exercised so
- 9:59Speaker 6: much politic power over the process. They get into this
- 10:04Speaker 6: issue with the sexualization of the child programming and getting
- 10:09Speaker 6: involved in our education bill, and we just had to
- 10:12Speaker 6: look at this and say, Okay, do they have a
- 10:15Speaker 6: quote First Amendment right to be advocating for gender ideology
- 10:20Speaker 6: in kindergarten? Yeah? I guess is that honestly faithful to
- 10:25Speaker 6: their fiduciary duty to their shareholders? I don't think so.
- 10:28Speaker 6: But that's not really in my wheelhouse as governor. But
- 10:33Speaker 6: what I can tell you is, under no circumstances should
- 10:37Speaker 6: the state of Florida be subsidizing woke activism by allowing
- 10:42Speaker 6: them to have their own government. So we took it away.
- 10:53Speaker 6: So they've lost their own government. We've put the state
- 10:57Speaker 6: in charge with a control board.
- 10:59Speaker 7: Now.
- 10:59Speaker 6: It's interesting the media, you know, tried to get spun
- 11:03Speaker 6: up about Disney trying to do these agreements, you know,
- 11:06Speaker 6: very quietly, right before we took control, and they're acting
- 11:10Speaker 6: like somehow that they that they pulled one over on
- 11:13Speaker 6: the state. You'll there'll be a lot of that comes
- 11:16Speaker 6: out over the next month or two. But suffice it
- 11:18Speaker 6: to say, you know, the legislature is going to avoid
- 11:21Speaker 6: anything Disney did on the way out the door. But
- 11:24Speaker 6: now that Disney has reopened this issue, we're not just
- 11:27Speaker 6: going to avoid the development agreement they tried to do.
- 11:30Speaker 6: We're gonna look at things like taxes on the hotels,
- 11:35Speaker 6: We're gonna look at things like tolls on the roads.
- 11:37Speaker 6: We're gonna look at things like developing some of the
- 11:40Speaker 6: property that the district owns. And so at the end
- 11:43Speaker 6: of the day, I think what Disney has tried to
- 11:45Speaker 6: do is they've tried to say that they should be
- 11:47Speaker 6: able to operate outside the context of our constitutional system
- 11:52Speaker 6: in Florida. No, we took this action prior to the election.
- 11:56Speaker 6: We want overwhelmingly, uh, they are not superior to the
- 12:01Speaker 6: people of Florida, and so, come hell or high water,
- 12:04Speaker 6: we're going to make sure that that policy of Florida
- 12:08Speaker 6: carries the day, and so they can keep trying to
- 12:10Speaker 6: do things, but ultimately we're going to win on every
- 12:14Speaker 6: single issue involving Disney. I can tell you that.
- 12:19Speaker 1: This is exactly, by the way, what should happen. And
- 12:21Speaker 1: this is what fighting back looks like.
- 12:24Speaker 2: If you want to.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Poke in the eye the taxpayers and you want to
- 12:27Speaker 1: screw with them the way that Disney has, you want
- 12:29Speaker 1: to attack them and the values of the people around
- 12:32Speaker 1: you that are helping prop you up. Then you should
- 12:35Speaker 1: be ready for this. This is what should happen. This
- 12:39Speaker 1: is what it would look like and what it should
- 12:42Speaker 1: look like when you are held accountable for the actions
- 12:46Speaker 1: of your business. Now, this has cost Disney some money.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Some would say it's cost them a lot of money.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's cost them some. But what we've also noticed is
- 12:56Speaker 1: there's a lot of pretty woosy Republican and Conservatives and
- 13:01Speaker 1: Christians out there that that you know, they'll they'll complain
- 13:05Speaker 1: over Disney's wokeism. They'll complain over Disney in doctrinating young people,
- 13:12Speaker 1: uh and in doctrinating their kids in lgbt Q I
- 13:16Speaker 1: A mandating that they have X number of leads that
- 13:20Speaker 1: are gay or lesbian, or transsexual or bisexual, et cetera.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Like they're they're they're changing all of this right, And
- 13:28Speaker 1: there are a lot and I will tell you it's
- 13:29Speaker 1: probably the most disappointing I've been in my friend group
- 13:35Speaker 1: in a while. I cannot tell you how many Christian
- 13:40Speaker 1: families I know that are still going to Disney. And
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'm like, have you seen have you heard what Disney
- 13:47Speaker 1: has done? Like, do you know what they've said in
- 13:50Speaker 1: their own videos? Do you know what they are advocating
- 13:54Speaker 1: for in their own words, in their own mandates within
- 14:00Speaker 1: their company, and how they look at your child's brain
- 14:02Speaker 1: is a thing to indoctrinate. They're like, oh, but I
- 14:05Speaker 1: just want to go to Disney and have that beautiful
- 14:07Speaker 1: moment with my kids.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Okay, well, the look the Devil will.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Give you beautiful moments, Like, a lot of things are
- 14:15Speaker 1: really fun that and then you realize afterwards there's a consequence.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's one of the hardest things in life to learn
- 14:22Speaker 1: is learning about those consequences. It's awful, especially when you're
- 14:26Speaker 1: an adult. I've made mistakes. I'm sure most of you
- 14:29Speaker 1: listening would admit that you've made mistakes in your life.
- 14:32Speaker 1: And the things that you think are fun, right, there
- 14:35Speaker 1: are consequences that come with it. But the fun is
- 14:37Speaker 1: really fun, and you don't think about the consequences. That's
- 14:39Speaker 1: why you make stupid decisions. That's what happens. But what
- 14:43Speaker 1: Disney is saying is like, you can't act like you
- 14:45Speaker 1: don't know what's happening, Like, you can't act like you
- 14:49Speaker 1: don't know what Disney's goal is, Like Disney's goal is
- 14:55Speaker 1: a very clear goal. Disney's goal is and they're objective,
- 15:00Speaker 1: is to indoctrinate your kids.
- 15:01Speaker 2: They've said that. We have the videos of them saying that.
- 15:05Speaker 2: We know that.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Disney has made it clear. This is what they are
- 15:10Speaker 1: going to do to your child. This is their this
- 15:13Speaker 1: is their objective. I mean, I'll give you an example.
- 15:17Speaker 1: There's a scene from Disney from the Proud Family on
- 15:22Speaker 1: Disney Plus, Zoe's the character who is white, and she's
- 15:26Speaker 1: white and she gets berated by her friends for dating
- 15:29Speaker 1: a black guy. This is part of that just indoctrination.
- 15:33Speaker 1: This is just came out. By the way, Listen, miss.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Proud, the only reason he asked hero out is because
- 15:40Speaker 6: she's white.
- 15:45Speaker 2: That's not true. Yes, it is true, right maya.
- 15:49Speaker 8: Yep, my cousin saying Noah's favorite chocolate is white, noose worlds, you're.
- 15:53Speaker 2: All just jealous that Noah asked me out and not you.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with me being white chocolate,
- 16:00Speaker 1: not that a person can be white chocolate. It has
- 16:02Speaker 1: everything to do with you. That is a real scene
- 16:11Speaker 1: from the Proud Family on Disney Plus Zoe who's white's
- 16:14Speaker 1: getting berated by her friends. For dating a black guy,
- 16:18Speaker 1: implying the only reason when she got asked was because
- 16:19Speaker 1: she's white. That's not the only thing Disney has in
- 16:22Speaker 1: their cartoons, Robin DeAngelo is, white fragility is in Disney's
- 16:27Speaker 1: cartoons now as well.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Listen to this. Oh you understand, don't you know? No?
- 16:34Speaker 9: I do not understand anything about white fragility.
- 16:38Speaker 7: White fragility that's not supposed to.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Be you know what I mean? You're doing it right now?
- 16:44Speaker 2: What being defensive about?
- 16:46Speaker 6: Prince D'Angelo wrote a whole book about.
- 16:50Speaker 5: It, same.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Cover and everything.
- 17:01Speaker 1: At the tire room, he said, with never all sleeps.
- 17:05Speaker 9: He just dismissed me like that.
- 17:12Speaker 2: There it is.
- 17:13Speaker 1: That is another Disney Plus cartoon that your kids can
- 17:17Speaker 1: watch right now. Hands a book to the dude, hands
- 17:20Speaker 1: a book to the dude and tells the dude, you'd
- 17:21Speaker 1: better read this book, right, And if you don't read
- 17:23Speaker 1: this book, then you're not woke, right, Like, what are
- 17:27Speaker 1: you doing? You need to read this book. On the cover,
- 17:29Speaker 1: it says white fragility.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Why is it? Why it's so.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Hard for all caps okay bold white people to talk
- 17:36Speaker 1: about racism? Shows the dad, look at the book, put
- 17:39Speaker 1: the book down. There next see he won't read the book,
- 17:40Speaker 1: therefore he's a racist. So that's what they're indoctrinating your
- 17:44Speaker 1: kids with a Disney. But you want to take your
- 17:46Speaker 1: kids to Disney because you want a special moment.
- 17:49Speaker 2: This is what they're making for your kids.
- 17:51Speaker 1: These are cartoons that I just played for you for
- 17:53Speaker 1: young children on Disney Plus. It's got a message from
- 17:57Speaker 1: one of you guys online. You can follow me online Twitter,
- 17:59Speaker 1: face book, of Instagram, Parlor Ben ferguson podcasts, wherever you can,
- 18:04Speaker 1: you know, on any social media. But one of your
- 18:06Speaker 1: cine messages has been I really don't think that Disney
- 18:10Speaker 1: is trying to indoctrinate my children. I do think you're
- 18:12Speaker 1: trying to talk about newer issues and not just be
- 18:15Speaker 1: Mickey Mouse all the time. Okay, I don't believe that
- 18:20Speaker 1: you would say that if I played for you the
- 18:22Speaker 1: Walt Disney Companies internal massive conference they just had called
- 18:27Speaker 1: Reimagining Tomorrow.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Now this is internal.
- 18:30Speaker 1: It was leaked last year, okay, and this was Walt
- 18:34Speaker 1: Disney's rebirth as a company. Reimagining Tomorrow, all internal, all
- 18:39Speaker 1: hands on deck. This is Disney's Diversity and Inclusion manager
- 18:43Speaker 1: giving her presentation. To everyone watching online listen.
- 18:49Speaker 7: Last summer week, we removed all of the gendered greetings
- 18:53Speaker 7: and relationship to our live skills, so we no longer
- 18:56Speaker 7: say ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. We've trained, we
- 19:00Speaker 7: provided training for all of our cast members in relationship
- 19:03Speaker 7: to that, so now they know it's hello everyone, or
- 19:06Speaker 7: hello friends. We are in the process of changing over
- 19:09Speaker 7: those those recorded messages, and so many of you are
- 19:11Speaker 7: probably familiar when we brought the fireworks back to the
- 19:14Speaker 7: Magic Kingdom. We no longer say ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 19:16Speaker 7: and girls. We say dreamers of all ages. And so
- 19:18Speaker 7: I love the fact that it's opened up the creativity,
- 19:21Speaker 7: the opportunity for our cast members to look at that
- 19:24Speaker 7: we have our cast members working with merchandise, working with
- 19:27Speaker 7: food and beverage, working with all of our guest facing
- 19:30Speaker 7: areas where perhaps you know, we want to create that
- 19:33Speaker 7: magical moment with our cast members with our guests, and
- 19:37Speaker 7: we don't want to just assume because someone might be
- 19:40Speaker 7: in our interpretation maybe presenting this female that they may
- 19:43Speaker 7: not want to be called princess. So let's think differently
- 19:46Speaker 7: about how do we really engage with our guests in
- 19:49Speaker 7: a meaningful and inclusive way that makes it magical and
- 19:52Speaker 7: memorable for everyone.
- 19:54Speaker 2: And okay, so let's just be clear about what was
- 19:58Speaker 2: said there.
- 19:59Speaker 1: We've decided to get rid of anything that deals with
- 20:02Speaker 1: gender because we want everybody to feel kumba ya esk right,
- 20:06Speaker 1: like that's what we want. We want everybody to feel
- 20:09Speaker 1: like it's totally fine. Everything's good, nothing is bad. We're
- 20:15Speaker 1: all gonna get like this is there's no negative here, right,
- 20:19Speaker 1: there's no everything is good, everything is great, everything is okay,
- 20:25Speaker 1: it's it's you know, this is this is the way
- 20:29Speaker 1: reimagining tomorrow their words. Now, before I get into more
- 20:32Speaker 1: of this story, I want to say thank you and
- 20:34Speaker 1: tell you about our good friends.
- 20:35Speaker 2: At Patriot Mobile.
- 20:37Speaker 1: They are now offering a performance guarantee. If you're not
- 20:40Speaker 1: happy with your coverage, you can switch between the three major.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Carriers for free. Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. They
- 20:51Speaker 1: are for nationwide coverage on the best G four and
- 20:54Speaker 1: G five networks, the same network and towers are using
- 20:57Speaker 1: right now. The difference is not a do you get
- 21:00Speaker 1: the same great quality that you're used to, but they
- 21:04Speaker 1: actually are a company that fights to preserve or God
- 21:07Speaker 1: given rights and freedoms. So this year resolved to stop
- 21:12Speaker 1: spending your money with companies that don't align with your values.
- 21:15Speaker 1: In fact, actually fight against what you believe in. Switch
- 21:18Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile. You'll be supporting First and Second Amendment groups,
- 21:22Speaker 1: the rights of unborn children, and even helping with adoptions.
- 21:26Speaker 2: It is easy to switch.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Call them right now, or go online to Patriotmobile dot
- 21:30Speaker 1: com slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Or call them eight seven eight Patriot. You're gonna get
- 21:38Speaker 1: free activation with the offer code ferguson. That's eight seven
- 21:42Speaker 1: eight Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 21:46Speaker 2: That's just one clip. Let me give you disease.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Production coordinator and his team is now put together a
- 21:53Speaker 1: quote tracker to make sure they're creating enough gender non
- 21:56Speaker 1: conforming characters in space.
- 21:59Speaker 9: Yeah. I've had the privilege of working with the Moon
- 22:02Speaker 9: Girl team for the last two years and they've been
- 22:05Speaker 9: really open to exploring queer stories and part of I'm
- 22:08Speaker 9: on the production side, part of the work that I
- 22:12Speaker 9: feel like I can put in is making sure that
- 22:15Speaker 9: we take place in modern day New York, so making
- 22:18Speaker 9: sure that that's like an accurate reflection of New York.
- 22:20Speaker 9: So I put together like.
- 22:21Speaker 10: A tracker of our background characters to make sure that
- 22:24Speaker 10: we have like the full breadth of expression, and we
- 22:28Speaker 10: got into a very similar conversation carry of like, oh,
- 22:32Speaker 10: all of our like gender nonconforming characters are in the background,
- 22:37Speaker 10: and so it's not just a numbers game of how
- 22:40Speaker 10: many LGBTQ plus characters you have? We got the further
- 22:47Speaker 10: the more centered a story is on a character, the
- 22:50Speaker 10: more nuanced you get to get into their story. And
- 22:54Speaker 10: especially with like trans characters, you can't see if someone
- 22:58Speaker 10: is trans. There's not one way to looks and so
- 23:01Speaker 10: kind of the only way to have these like canonical
- 23:05Speaker 10: trans characters, canonical asexual characters, canonical bisexual characters, is to
- 23:10Speaker 10: give them stories where they can like be their whole selves.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Or they can be their whole selves. Okay, So I'll
- 23:16Speaker 1: go back to what I just said a moment ago.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Does it sound like they're just trying to get you
- 23:22Speaker 1: to a point where it's inclusion or is this a
- 23:25Speaker 1: point of indoctrination. Sounds a hell of a lot like
- 23:29Speaker 1: indoctrinating your children to me, and if you don't think
- 23:32Speaker 1: they're trying to indoctrinate your kids, then I think there's
- 23:38Speaker 1: some confusion probably from you on what indoctrination sounds like. Like,
- 23:43Speaker 1: if you don't believe this is indoctrinating a child, I
- 23:46Speaker 1: don't know what else to tell you. Right, they're trying
- 23:49Speaker 1: to indoctrinate your children. Hey, that's what they're trying to do.
- 23:53Speaker 1: This is about indoctrination. Now, this is why Governor de
- 23:56Speaker 1: Santis is standing up to them. This is why he's
- 23:59Speaker 1: doing what he's doing here. And I'm glad that he is.
- 24:01Speaker 2: It's important that he's doing it this way.
- 24:03Speaker 1: But when you see these characters coming out the way
- 24:06Speaker 1: that they're coming out, and look, the media is turning
- 24:08Speaker 1: on Pence for doing this. Right, Mike Pence was asked
- 24:10Speaker 1: about DeSantis going after Disney and and this is him
- 24:15Speaker 1: trying to obviously distinguish himself from DeSantis.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Listen, well, I would say to you two things.
- 24:20Speaker 8: Number one is I fully supported Florida's initiative to protect
- 24:24Speaker 8: kids and protect parental rights. I was just in Iowa
- 24:27Speaker 8: last week where literally there's a school, the Lenmar Community School,
- 24:32Speaker 8: will allow a student to get a gender transition plan
- 24:34Speaker 8: without parental notification or approval. So we fully support what
- 24:40Speaker 8: Florida did about protecting kids under the third grade, but
- 24:43Speaker 8: I have concerns about the follow on. Look, Disney stepped
- 24:47Speaker 8: into the fray they lost. But then by the idea
- 24:52Speaker 8: taxing authority, I you know, I that was that was
- 24:56Speaker 8: beyond the scope of what I, as a conservative, limited
- 24:59Speaker 8: government Republican, be prepared to do.
- 25:01Speaker 1: So there's Mike Pence bound down to Disney there. I
- 25:04Speaker 1: love that Mike Pence is so quickly turning into Jeb
- 25:08Speaker 1: Bush two point zero, Mitt Romney two point zero, Like
- 25:11Speaker 1: it's amazing to me how quick they're doing this. DeSantis's
- 25:16Speaker 1: attack right and the media again they're going to come
- 25:19Speaker 1: after him with everything. I think this is a smart
- 25:22Speaker 1: move by DeSantis. I think him going after them the
- 25:24Speaker 1: way that he is going after them, I think it's brilliant.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You know, I'll play one other thing for you. There's
- 25:30Speaker 1: this bay Max, which is a character from Disney that
- 25:35Speaker 1: actually showed a guy recommending the type of feminine pads
- 25:39Speaker 1: that the dude uses in the grocer. There's a cartoon,
- 25:42Speaker 1: so they're trying to tell your kids that a dude
- 25:44Speaker 1: can wear a tampon or a Maxi pad. It's another
- 25:47Speaker 1: example of the cartoons that they are willing to use
- 25:51Speaker 1: to indoctrinate you. Is this Bay max the video from Disney.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Your kids are probably watching this. And then this video
- 26:04Speaker 1: Disney shows a guy recommending the type of tampon or
- 26:09Speaker 1: pad that the character should use.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Who's a dude?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Women young and old are on the aisle shopping for tampons,
- 26:15Speaker 1: and then the dudes like, oh, this is what I use.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Listen carefully, excuse me, which of these products would you recommend? Oh?
- 26:28Speaker 10: Well, these are the tampons I usually use.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Thank you. I prefer pads. They're more comfortable for me.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 26:34Speaker 6: I always get the ones with wings.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Get him scented and bleach free if you can.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 26:39Speaker 7: My daughter loves these.
- 26:40Speaker 10: Thank These might be easier if it's her first period.
- 26:42Speaker 6: These are really environmentally friendly.
- 26:45Speaker 1: The dude has a trans shirt on, just so you know.
- 26:49Speaker 1: So you have a robot that happens to be on
- 26:52Speaker 1: the tampon aisle looking at these, and he looks at
- 26:54Speaker 1: the woman and says to the woman, Hey, like, which
- 26:56Speaker 1: one of these do you use or recommend?
- 26:59Speaker 9: Right?
- 26:59Speaker 1: And then you hear the onsought. There's the environmental friendly,
- 27:02Speaker 1: so we'll go woke on that one. This is the
- 27:04Speaker 1: one that I use if it's the first period. This
- 27:06Speaker 1: the one I would use. I mean, you can you
- 27:08Speaker 1: can hear it here. The list is pretty clear. This
- 27:10Speaker 1: is all a list to normalize a male watching that
- 27:16Speaker 1: a male where's tampons? I took a lot of heat
- 27:21Speaker 1: over the weekend because I put out a did I
- 27:25Speaker 1: take let me say, did I take heat for this?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Holy cow?
- 27:29Speaker 1: I took a ton of heat because I did something
- 27:32Speaker 1: that was, I guess, politically incorrect. I put up the
- 27:37Speaker 1: current world population and I put it up there, and
- 27:41Speaker 1: then I said the people born from women, and I
- 27:43Speaker 1: put up the exact number in the population eight billion,
- 27:47Speaker 1: twenty five million, seven hundred, eighteen one and thirteen. It's
- 27:52Speaker 1: the current world population. And I said people born from
- 27:54Speaker 1: women eight million or eight billion, excuse me, twenty five million,
- 27:59Speaker 1: seven hundred eighteen thousand, one and thirteen. And then I
- 28:03Speaker 1: put this number up people born from men zero and
- 28:08Speaker 1: then I put up feel free to fact check that
- 28:10Speaker 1: they are coming after your kids, and they are coming
- 28:13Speaker 1: after your kids' minds, okay, and they are not going
- 28:17Speaker 1: to stop until they feel like they have won. They
- 28:22Speaker 1: are going to keep coming after your kids, and they're
- 28:25Speaker 1: going to keep coming after your kids' minds until they win.
- 28:31Speaker 2: This is about winning for them. Okay, this.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Is all about winning for them. They are not going
- 28:40Speaker 1: to stop until they win, until they take over, until
- 28:45Speaker 1: they own your children's minds. And they've done this for
- 28:48Speaker 1: years now. We just weren't paying attention. But now they're
- 28:51Speaker 1: not even hiding it anymore. It is out there in
- 28:53Speaker 1: the open and they're proud of it.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Now.
- 28:56Speaker 1: DeSantis is trying to expose us and fight this. And
- 28:58Speaker 1: I love this, and I think this is a good
- 29:00Speaker 1: governor's job. Like you should know that, this is what
- 29:02Speaker 1: they're doing, how they're doing it, why they're doing it. Okay,
- 29:06Speaker 1: this is why they're doing it. This is how they're
- 29:08Speaker 1: doing it. This is everything they've ever wanted to happen.
- 29:12Speaker 1: It's a gift on a silver platter for them. Because
- 29:16Speaker 1: there's not parents right now that are offended by this.
- 29:18Speaker 1: It's like, oh, let's just get along, let's just keep
- 29:20Speaker 1: kumbayyeing this right. Oh, we don't care if there's a
- 29:23Speaker 1: trans guy out there showing what pad he uses in
- 29:27Speaker 1: a cartoon. Oh we don't care if they're shaming someone
- 29:30Speaker 1: for dating someone of the opposite sex and talking about
- 29:32Speaker 1: white privilege.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Right, like, we're fine with this.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Keep going, keep going, And is there a line that
- 29:39Speaker 1: they that they can cross that at some point will
- 29:42Speaker 1: wake you up and say enough. They're winning and they're
- 29:47Speaker 1: coming after you, and they're not going to stop. Okay,
- 29:51Speaker 1: they're winning. They're coming after you and they are not
- 29:53Speaker 1: going to stop. They're coming after your kids' minds, and
- 29:57Speaker 1: they're putting men and corporations are putting men in there. Okay,
- 30:02Speaker 1: corporations are saying, men, we want to get these trends.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Let's go for it. Give this dude some money.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I know he's a dude that's crazy, acting like a chick,
- 30:11Speaker 1: but give them the money. Give him some sports bras
- 30:14Speaker 1: with Nike on there, give them the sports bras. Let's go,
- 30:17Speaker 1: right I let's go. Let's let's let's let's let's get
- 30:21Speaker 1: this marketing going. And that's what they're now doing. So
- 30:25Speaker 1: you can look the other way, but they're winning, or
- 30:28Speaker 1: you can protect your kids' minds and stop giving your
- 30:30Speaker 1: money to these corporations like bud Light and Disney. Hey,
- 30:33Speaker 1: you can stop giving your money to Nike, who is
- 30:34Speaker 1: trying to tell you that that it is normal for
- 30:36Speaker 1: a guy.
- 30:37Speaker 2: To wear a sports bra all right.
