- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a suit looking back down, giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: like theming buck things in it not good to mother.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't joining. You gotta use turning. You gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. You got to turn them out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water. The water go. Come come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby now, uh huh, I sure will A good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay,
- 2:19Speaker 1: here's what I want to share with you. Stop complaining.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So I had to let you see how I let
- 2:30Speaker 1: that one sit for a second. Stop complaining. Do you
- 2:37Speaker 1: realize without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just
- 2:45Speaker 1: complain about stuff and it comes up in such subtle forms. Man,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't know why they're still letting that lady work there. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: if they don't fire this woman, man, I don't know
- 2:58Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. She driving me. She always got
- 3:03Speaker 1: something to say. I bet to day though, the way
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'm feeling right now, I bet she'd been not saying
- 3:11Speaker 1: nothing to me today. M yeah, yeah, because day it
- 3:17Speaker 1: today it I'm sick of her running her mouth. Last
- 3:22Speaker 1: time she says something to me, I should have said
- 3:25Speaker 1: something to it. You know what I'm saying. I'm just
- 3:27Speaker 1: giving you a small example of how it starts to snowball.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Once you start to complain, It's it just carries over
- 3:38Speaker 1: into so many things. Man, Stop complaining about your call,
- 3:42Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your bus pass, Stop complaining about your
- 3:46Speaker 1: kids can't seem to get it together, Stop complaining about
- 3:49Speaker 1: your man can't seem to get it together. Stop complaining.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking, have you noticed
- 4:00Speaker 1: that in all of your complaining, it has provided not
- 4:05Speaker 1: one solution. The reason I'm telling you to stop complaining
- 4:11Speaker 1: because God is able. Because God is capable. He is
- 4:19Speaker 1: capable and able of fixing anything, capable and able of
- 4:25Speaker 1: curing anything, capable and able of allowing you to get
- 4:32Speaker 1: too adjusting to things, and capable and able to strengthen
- 4:40Speaker 1: you to get through and change anything. But the key
- 4:47Speaker 1: here is God is capable, and God is able. A
- 4:51Speaker 1: lot of times I find myself complaining because I have
- 4:56Speaker 1: not used my greatest asset and my relationship with God.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You all have one now. You may not have nurtured it,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but you have one because God created you as you
- 5:07Speaker 1: as his child. He's available to you now. The fact
- 5:10Speaker 1: that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again, who
- 5:14Speaker 1: fathers that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your relationship with
- 5:21Speaker 1: God and formulate this relationship. You don't have enough weapons.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You ain't got a big enough shield to fight this
- 5:33Speaker 1: thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man, And unless
- 5:37Speaker 1: you develop a relationship with God, you need a partner
- 5:40Speaker 1: in all of this. Maybe you got another route you're
- 5:43Speaker 1: gonna take. But every successful person I know personally has
- 5:52Speaker 1: a relationship with God. I have some really really some
- 5:59Speaker 1: people pople that's kind of up there in the success
- 6:02Speaker 1: term in terms of business and money and statue. I'm
- 6:06Speaker 1: just talking about that portion of success. And then I
- 6:09Speaker 1: have a lot of people who are very successful in
- 6:12Speaker 1: their spiritual life, who have become great men of God
- 6:16Speaker 1: and women of God. But look at all of them,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and all of them have substantial amounts of you know,
- 6:26Speaker 1: possessions and things like that. Also, most successful people I
- 6:31Speaker 1: know have that even if you saw them never with
- 6:35Speaker 1: a big lot of house and a lot of money
- 6:38Speaker 1: or stuff like that, they had so much respect, so
- 6:42Speaker 1: much love, so much power was given them from people
- 6:49Speaker 1: that their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: like a man Nu the King or something like that,
- 6:56Speaker 1: or Gandhi or somebody who lived their life in service,
- 6:59Speaker 1: or Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people
- 7:03Speaker 1: put stuff at their feet because of their service. So
- 7:06Speaker 1: all successful people I know have that, Every last one
- 7:09Speaker 1: of these people that I know, they have relationship with God.
- 7:14Speaker 1: They used the tool that was available to them to
- 7:18Speaker 1: give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings,
- 7:22Speaker 1: the shield to fight this thing called life and have
- 7:25Speaker 1: the most valuable partner right there by their side. They
- 7:28Speaker 1: heavily father God because he will help you get through
- 7:31Speaker 1: this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:37Speaker 1: favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man? Why can
- 7:41Speaker 1: I never get over? Well you have not because you
- 7:44Speaker 1: asked not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:47Speaker 1: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:49Speaker 1: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:51Speaker 1: your own thought process. Who are you? I keep telling you, man,
- 7:56Speaker 1: you're going through stuff you ain't got no business going through.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 8:03Speaker 1: and over and over, and the same problem keep coming
- 8:06Speaker 1: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 8:10Speaker 1: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. It's your relationship.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:16Speaker 1: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:20Speaker 1: when you invite him in. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 1: invite him, men, they have a distinct advantage on their
- 8:28Speaker 1: road to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it
- 8:33Speaker 1: without him, trust me, you can. How far you get.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I can't promise you nothing, how well you handle it
- 8:40Speaker 1: when you arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how
- 8:43Speaker 1: long you're gonna stay there, I can't promise you nothing.
- 8:48Speaker 1: How difficult it's going to be without him. I can't
- 8:51Speaker 1: give you that. It's going to be far more difficult.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But you can. Something can happen, and you know, receive
- 8:58Speaker 1: a measure of success. And you think you and this
- 9:01Speaker 1: this move you made, and you can describe it as
- 9:03Speaker 1: I got lucky. I happened to be in the right
- 9:05Speaker 1: place at the right time. I got lucky. Lucky is
- 9:10Speaker 1: usually how other people describe other people's success. Poor he
- 9:14Speaker 1: was lucky, he was right there. Well, let me tell
- 9:16Speaker 1: you what luck is. Luck is when hard work bumps
- 9:19Speaker 1: up into opportunity. If you've been working hard as something,
- 9:22Speaker 1: an opportunity presents itself that comes a match. That's not luck.
- 9:28Speaker 1: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 9:31Speaker 1: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 9:37Speaker 1: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And if your chronic complainer, it's because you really really
- 9:47Speaker 1: have not fixed your relationship with God. He's smooth it
- 9:50Speaker 1: out for you. That I can tell you for a fact.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I know that for a fact He's mooved mine out.
- 9:55Speaker 1: All right, let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, let
- 10:02Speaker 1: me have it. I need you undivided attention. I got
- 10:05Speaker 1: it for you. The show shows the greatest morning show
- 10:08Speaker 1: on planet Earth by nine. I bet it is. I
- 10:11Speaker 1: know it is. I believe it is. It probably is.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Show enough is, ladies and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning,
- 10:18Speaker 1: it is it is. I Concur Good morning, Steve, oh
- 10:24Speaker 1: Calor Pharrell, good morning, what's up? Crew? Hey? Steve? That
- 10:31Speaker 1: dog gone junior boy. Morning everybody, ladies and gentlemen. Nephew, Tommy,
- 10:42Speaker 1: do bad, Yes, do bad. That's how you started off
- 10:52Speaker 1: right there. Let the ignorance begin. Brag it up, h man.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You know, I was been watching Chris Chromo on Chris
- 11:02Speaker 1: Cuomo on CNN, and he's inspired me. Man, I'm gonna
- 11:08Speaker 1: do my radio show from the basement. Oh yeah, Send
- 11:12Speaker 1: somebody over here and get all this stuff rigged up.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm moving down in my damn basement due my show.
- 11:18Speaker 1: But you know why he's down there. Yeah, I don't.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't want the virus, Okay, I just want to basement. Yeah. Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: But let's let's let's open this up through what's in
- 11:30Speaker 1: the basement? What's in Yeah, tell everybody what's dying a basement? Man?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Ain't it a golf ciming? Later down here coming hate,
- 11:39Speaker 1: pick up the basement. Hate, don't tell her what a
- 11:42Speaker 1: golf simulator? That girl simulated pro shop dying? Then you
- 11:48Speaker 1: you buy clothes from yourself. You gotta as fire. He
- 11:53Speaker 1: got a pro shop down there, it's healed. He going
- 11:58Speaker 1: in buy stuff from him out. I ever seen its cold, man?
- 12:04Speaker 1: He on one side of the count of that bate
- 12:06Speaker 1: it out. Then he taking money. I support the sport
- 12:10Speaker 1: cold that has a store, have a store in your house.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Everything in your size with tags on the short nothing tags.
- 12:25Speaker 1: He got a security man too. You can't spend it.
- 12:28Speaker 1: You can't do none of that. Go out. Let me
- 12:33Speaker 1: see your bad. I look at the shirt. I looked
- 12:37Speaker 1: at the shirt. Put it right back down. Why because
- 12:40Speaker 1: you can't afford it? Everybody through, y'all having a good time. Yes,
- 12:49Speaker 1: it's just fun. It's just fun. We're tees. Yes, why,
- 12:53Speaker 1: thank you Jesus? Amen? Amen? Amen again? And when you
- 12:59Speaker 1: get on the elevator, I mean floor down is it
- 13:01Speaker 1: to get to the basic motet elevator hate you are pleased?
- 13:10Speaker 1: It's all right. We are all blessed just to be here.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Ah good. He loves us all the same, He don't.
- 13:18Speaker 1: He definitely don't love me no more. That's right. But
- 13:22Speaker 1: I do go to him with quite large request though.
- 13:27Speaker 1: But he can do it. Though, he can do it,
- 13:29Speaker 1: he has done it, and you can do it. Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: that's who you want to go to, all right? Coming up,
- 13:34Speaker 1: asked the CLO that's coming up with thirty two minutes
- 13:37Speaker 1: after the hour, Chief Love Officer in the building. Right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this, Steve Harvey, you're listening to Steve Morning Show
- 13:47Speaker 1: Time now for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Ready,
- 13:51Speaker 1: CLO got it right here. This one is from Linda
- 13:55Speaker 1: in Florida. She says, I've been married for five years together.
- 13:58Speaker 1: My husband and I have five kids. My kids live
- 14:01Speaker 1: with us, and his kids live with his ex wife.
- 14:04Speaker 1: When his kids come to visit, he treats them like
- 14:07Speaker 1: they are royalty and buys them expensive gifts. My kids
- 14:12Speaker 1: don't ever get praised by him, and he never buys
- 14:14Speaker 1: them anything. He has told me that they have a
- 14:17Speaker 1: daddy for all of that. We are in constant turmoil
- 14:21Speaker 1: over this, and our marriage is stressful. What should I do?
- 14:25Speaker 1: That's a good one. Well, I think he's making a
- 14:27Speaker 1: huge mistake here in that they have a daddy for that,
- 14:32Speaker 1: Because when you marry a woman, women who have children,
- 14:36Speaker 1: it's a package. If you're not willing to be good
- 14:39Speaker 1: as good to the children as you are to the wife,
- 14:42Speaker 1: then you shouldn't marry this woman. It's not her fault,
- 14:46Speaker 1: and it's definitely not the children's fault. The children are
- 14:51Speaker 1: are thrown into this situation because of a decision. You
- 14:55Speaker 1: ask this woman to marry you, and now you want
- 14:57Speaker 1: to treat hers like they're not yours. If you didn't
- 15:00Speaker 1: want all of her, then you should have left her
- 15:02Speaker 1: where she was. So you're gonna have to sit him
- 15:06Speaker 1: down and explain to him how that makes you feel.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And then when he goes they have a daddy for
- 15:12Speaker 1: all of that, then your response should be yes. But
- 15:16Speaker 1: they also thought they had you also, And see, you've
- 15:22Speaker 1: got to appeal to a man. Now. This man has
- 15:25Speaker 1: got to have some conversations with some other men that's
- 15:27Speaker 1: in these blended family situations so he can understand his
- 15:30Speaker 1: share of responsibility. You have a responsibility to all children
- 15:35Speaker 1: that's under your care, not just the ones you made.
- 15:39Speaker 1: That's petty. It's beyond petty. And I know he tried
- 15:44Speaker 1: to play Disney Dad when his kids come over because
- 15:47Speaker 1: he don't live with him, But it's got to be
- 15:51Speaker 1: it's you've got to make her children, and he should
- 15:54Speaker 1: make your children feel just as love. Love don't have
- 15:58Speaker 1: to be buying something, but he's got to spend some time.
- 16:01Speaker 1: And you know, look, man, that's just not the way
- 16:04Speaker 1: it goes. Pardoning. He's in a bad place right there.
- 16:07Speaker 1: And he's got to understand. But until he comes in,
- 16:09Speaker 1: don't understand. Well, you want to say something showing no, No,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you're you're you're dead on with this one. You nailed it,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you really did. No, I don't. I don't like that
- 16:17Speaker 1: in men, you know this is not how this works. Brother, Sorry,
- 16:21Speaker 1: manhood accompasses all things. Anonymous in Raleigh, North Carolina, says,
- 16:26Speaker 1: I'm a twenty seven year old married man and I
- 16:29Speaker 1: love my wife, but I have a problem with an
- 16:31Speaker 1: older lady or a side piece. The lady is fifty
- 16:34Speaker 1: one and we've been having sex for five years. When
- 16:38Speaker 1: I got married two years ago, the lady begged me
- 16:40Speaker 1: to keep having sex with her, but I refused. Lately,
- 16:43Speaker 1: the stress of being home with my wife is getting
- 16:46Speaker 1: to me, so I started sexting with the lady and
- 16:49Speaker 1: she facetimes me when she's bathing. I miss her body
- 16:54Speaker 1: and I'm about to explode. But I would never cheat
- 16:56Speaker 1: on my wife. Does sexting make me a bad husband?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Is it bad? Is it as bad as cheating? You
- 17:03Speaker 1: got this yes some of three ways. YEA. Morally yes,
- 17:15Speaker 1: it's as bad. According to your wife, it would be
- 17:19Speaker 1: damn near the same thing. According to men, it ain't
- 17:24Speaker 1: the same thing. Probably nobody has jewel. So, dog, I
- 17:32Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. Man, you've been on
- 17:35Speaker 1: you just stayed away for five years. He's twenty seven,
- 17:39Speaker 1: she's fifty one steven. You don't even say it's a yeah, yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 1: she didn't done some things to him, that's you know,
- 17:51Speaker 1: he can't even forget he grown woman. Yeah, he says,
- 17:55Speaker 1: I missed her body and I'm about to explode over
- 17:59Speaker 1: the pictures all in his phone. Sure, he keeps going
- 18:02Speaker 1: through all right. He in trouble on that one right there, Dog,
- 18:06Speaker 1: I would say, man, again, he's got to stop taking
- 18:13Speaker 1: those calls. That ain't gonna happen. You know what's on
- 18:19Speaker 1: the other end of the call. Well, he's if he
- 18:21Speaker 1: wants to not cheat on his wife, he's gonna have
- 18:23Speaker 1: to stop. Yeah, but he don't want to, right see,
- 18:26Speaker 1: he don't want to. Kno, he's asking me, is this
- 18:30Speaker 1: as bad? He says, I'm about to explode, But I
- 18:33Speaker 1: would never cheat on my wife. He can you it, Shirley.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You know how many men to said that? Yeah? I mean,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I don't know, but I'm sure. And he twenty seven
- 18:44Speaker 1: number he twenty seven? He got real, he got real problem.
- 18:49Speaker 1: All right, He's gonna had to stay away from this
- 18:50Speaker 1: woman because you go back and you start sexing up.
- 18:53Speaker 1: That's it. Yeah, he going, y'all. He beat there so much,
- 18:56Speaker 1: this virus lift through, this virus live. He over there.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Uh clo A secret in Tessa Lusa. I'm a fifty
- 19:03Speaker 1: three year old married woman and my man and I
- 19:06Speaker 1: met six years ago when he moved to my hometown.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I've always had a problem with how well he gets
- 19:12Speaker 1: along with his ex wife and how much she calls him. Friday,
- 19:16Speaker 1: he was washing his car and she called. I answered
- 19:19Speaker 1: his phone, and she asked who who I was and
- 19:21Speaker 1: why was I answering his phone. I told her I
- 19:25Speaker 1: was his wife, and she had no idea that he
- 19:29Speaker 1: was remarried, and she hung up. I asked him why
- 19:32Speaker 1: he was hiding me, and he said she didn't need
- 19:34Speaker 1: to know about me. Uh, Steve be hiding me from
- 19:39Speaker 1: his ass him, Malaya, I don't know why he's had
- 19:49Speaker 1: you from his wife demand and got remarried. Why are
- 19:53Speaker 1: you answering his phone because I'm his wife? She he
- 19:58Speaker 1: never told me he had gotten re married. I don't
- 20:00Speaker 1: know why. I don't I don't know, man, I don't
- 20:04Speaker 1: didn't want to do that so he could keep getting
- 20:07Speaker 1: over that going over there. Yeah, because they got something
- 20:10Speaker 1: going on, all this damn talking. But that's stupid though.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You know that's gonna run out. You know she's gonna
- 20:16Speaker 1: find that out. That's not play a player. That's just no,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I ain't play a player, dog. But you'd be surprised.
- 20:21Speaker 1: How stupid me? And if Tommy, Oh no, no, I'm sorry.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I take that back. You shut up. I know stupid
- 20:26Speaker 1: when I see it. You stopped to know. That's why
- 20:28Speaker 1: I shouldn't said that. I apologize and be like me
- 20:32Speaker 1: talking about you don't know how hard it is to
- 20:35Speaker 1: dunk of basketball and I don't. I'm sorry, Tommy, I said,
- 20:42Speaker 1: you have no idea how stupid men can be hot
- 20:45Speaker 1: with hell, he don't. All right, we gotta move on.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Coming up right after this, the nephew run that break
- 20:53Speaker 1: back you're listening show coming up at the top of

- 41:18Speaker 1: They elected Kemp, they elected this woman, they elected Donald Trump.
- 41:25Speaker 1: These are elected people. People went in there and voted
- 41:30Speaker 1: for these people. And when you hear this as a
- 41:34Speaker 1: person which supposed me common sense, how the hell does
- 41:39Speaker 1: this make sense to you? No one on this show
- 41:44Speaker 1: loves and does Vegas like me. Right, If you don't
- 41:52Speaker 1: think I want to go to Vegas, you are sadly mistaken.
- 41:56Speaker 1: But if you opened it Friday, you won't see Steve
- 42:00Speaker 1: Harvey ass out there because because you know why, America
- 42:06Speaker 1: is listen to me, irregardless as to what this president said, America,
- 42:13Speaker 1: we've tested more people. That's not true. That's not true.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Anybody can get a test. That's not true. Testing sites
- 42:22Speaker 1: are available to every American. That's not true. The peal
- 42:29Speaker 1: that they thought was gonna work. More people that they
- 42:31Speaker 1: gave a peal to die from coronavirus than they didn't
- 42:34Speaker 1: give it to. And there isn't a vaccine vaccine, and
- 42:40Speaker 1: we haven't flattened the curved. Why the hell would I
- 42:45Speaker 1: go outside for what? And she just like this fool
- 42:50Speaker 1: and uh uh, this governor of at A, Georgia. Man,
- 42:55Speaker 1: please what's wrong with these people? Yeah, Vegas man Carolina.
- 43:01Speaker 1: But the I will say, the governor of Nevada is
- 43:05Speaker 1: not agreeing with Oh no, he said. She's like, no,
- 43:09Speaker 1: that's like the governor in Atlanta and uh, the governor
- 43:13Speaker 1: of Georgia and the mayor of Atlanta there there they
- 43:16Speaker 1: have different opinions as well, right, the direct opposite of
- 43:19Speaker 1: what was happening in Nevada. Yes, this fool and opened
- 43:23Speaker 1: up Georgia. The man in Nevada said it can't happen.
- 43:26Speaker 1: The mayor of Atlanta says, this is not wise for
- 43:29Speaker 1: us to go out right now. The mayor of Vegas
- 43:32Speaker 1: come out. But when I looked at her, she said,
- 43:36Speaker 1: he said, would you sit there and gout? Anderson, I
- 43:39Speaker 1: don't gamble, you don't care that for them to figure
- 43:48Speaker 1: out what But the picture of the day was Anderson
- 43:55Speaker 1: taking his glasses off. He said, I can't here. Then
- 44:04Speaker 1: they elected her. Yea man, that was crazy. Yeah, do
- 44:11Speaker 1: we have time to hear that one more time? No,
- 44:14Speaker 1: it's too long. Coming up and next coming up, next,
- 44:21Speaker 1: nephew in the building with today's praying phone call, that's
- 44:23Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show coming up at the
- 44:29Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's
- 44:32Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today. The subject She's taken care of,
- 44:36Speaker 1: but I'm not. She's taken care of, but I'm not. Okay,
- 44:41Speaker 1: we'll get into that, but right now the nephew is
- 44:43Speaker 1: here with today's praying phone call. What you got for us,
- 44:46Speaker 1: nep Well, surely call. Y'all been going through it, you know.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Sometimes when I hear what you're going to do, I
- 44:55Speaker 1: use that day's tidally is pop up pedicure. Oh, pop
- 45:03Speaker 1: up pedicule. Oh, going to be stupid, y'all check this out.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Come on. Kay. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Dana. Please, yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 1: this is what's up? Hi, Dana. UM, I am calling.
- 45:21Speaker 1: We're trying to get a um uh schedule an appointment
- 45:24Speaker 1: with you. Your husband has purchased you a pedicure uh
- 45:29Speaker 1: pedicure spot, so we wanted to get see what date,
- 45:33Speaker 1: if Saturday would work for you. Um, my husband wanted
- 45:38Speaker 1: to book pedicre for me. I'm I'm I'm actually good
- 45:41Speaker 1: right now. I'm gonna wait un til i'm ready, But
- 45:45Speaker 1: thank you very much. But no, this is a this
- 45:50Speaker 1: is a this is a pop up pedicure. And what
- 45:53Speaker 1: we do is we actually cool. Yeah, we come to
- 45:56Speaker 1: your house. We have gloves and we have masks on
- 45:59Speaker 1: and you you stick your foot out the door and
- 46:02Speaker 1: we're going to disinfect everything your foot. You're talking about
- 46:09Speaker 1: putting my foot out the door. Yeah, so just for safety,
- 46:14Speaker 1: you stick you I'm sorry. My name is Milton with
- 46:18Speaker 1: Precious Pop Up Pedicure. We do pedicure as we go
- 46:20Speaker 1: around because we know a lot of people can't get out.
- 46:23Speaker 1: So you know, we're small business. We're just trying to
- 46:25Speaker 1: stay afloat right now. So that's but your husband called
- 46:28Speaker 1: in about you know, he called us. He wanted to
- 46:30Speaker 1: get an appointment for you. And but we come to
- 46:32Speaker 1: your house and when you stick your leg out, we'll
- 46:34Speaker 1: do the pedicure. And then you stick the other leg
- 46:36Speaker 1: out and we'll do that one Melton, honey, tweetheart. And
- 46:39Speaker 1: I know you've seen a lot of feet and you've
- 46:40Speaker 1: done a lot of toes and hands. And then me
- 46:43Speaker 1: tell you something. The I'm gonna put my feet out
- 46:46Speaker 1: the window. First of all, Well, whichever's convenient, the window
- 46:50Speaker 1: of the door. I don't care what it is. If
- 46:54Speaker 1: I'm going to get my feet done. I'm gonna have
- 46:56Speaker 1: my dump my feet done in a chair inside and
- 47:00Speaker 1: I would be I'd be out of my head if
- 47:02Speaker 1: I put my feet out the window. People don't see
- 47:05Speaker 1: my feet out the window. That is crazy and I'm
- 47:08Speaker 1: coming correct as as a businesswoman woman to a man, Milton,
- 47:13Speaker 1: I suggest you just you tell her that back in
- 47:16Speaker 1: maybe you could do some some buy me and advanced
- 47:18Speaker 1: pettigars like that from my feet? Are you tragile beautiful
- 47:23Speaker 1: to be putting out there? Well, well there there's lives
- 47:26Speaker 1: the problem man, And if you don't mind your your husband,
- 47:30Speaker 1: Kelvin is the one that called and he's the one
- 47:32Speaker 1: that says that your feet look a mess. So that's
- 47:34Speaker 1: why we're calling. He's the one that booked the appointment
- 47:36Speaker 1: for you. You know what, My feet are beautiful. And
- 47:40Speaker 1: again Milton, you know they are they beautiful now? Since
- 47:44Speaker 1: you've been in I'm sorry, use me? Are you Are
- 47:46Speaker 1: you the person who should be telling me that? That's
- 47:49Speaker 1: kind of my husband who I will have a conversation
- 47:51Speaker 1: with after this conversation. So I guess my question is, man,
- 47:55Speaker 1: you're seeing your feet are beautiful, but are they beautiful
- 47:57Speaker 1: now since they you've been locked up for a month.
- 48:00Speaker 1: So I mean, evidently you. Evidently your feet are scaring
- 48:03Speaker 1: your husband because he's the one calling saying, oh my god,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I gotta get my wife's feet done. My feet are gorgeous, tweetheart. Okay,
- 48:10Speaker 1: they're beautiful, the supple, the beautiful that's got a beautiful
- 48:14Speaker 1: tone of caramel to them. They shine at the sunshine.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Whether they're policed or not. My husband will love them
- 48:20Speaker 1: whether they're painted clips. Well, I don't think your husband
- 48:23Speaker 1: loves them because he called us. Obviously, Milton, you're not thinking,
- 48:27Speaker 1: and I think you need to check with your wife, Wendy.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Do you know that there's no reason you should ever
- 48:32Speaker 1: have this conversation with a grown woman about her feet,
- 48:35Speaker 1: is what her husband says. I don't know you, and
- 48:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as polite as possible. You will
- 48:40Speaker 1: not be stepping into my window, are you crazy? I'm
- 48:44Speaker 1: not gonna come in your window. You just stick your
- 48:46Speaker 1: foot out of the window of the door, whichever one
- 48:49Speaker 1: is convenient for you. Okay, it's not that hard. It's
- 48:52Speaker 1: gonna fifteen twenty minutes and we're done. Oh no, no, no, no,
- 48:55Speaker 1: you are not getting business fifteen or twenty minutes. Do
- 48:58Speaker 1: you know how much time it takes to get up?
- 49:00Speaker 1: You're done? You know this is well, this is a
- 49:04Speaker 1: pop up. It's a pure pop down. You're gonna be
- 49:10Speaker 1: driving through with spree wos at this point, I'm not
- 49:12Speaker 1: taking that. No, no, no, no no. And I'm having
- 49:15Speaker 1: a conversation with my husband to never call you again.
- 49:18Speaker 1: And I do suggest that you have a conversation with Wendy,
- 49:21Speaker 1: who I don't know, but I think she would agree
- 49:23Speaker 1: with me. Twenty ten minutes is not long enough. My
- 49:26Speaker 1: feet are beautiful, and don't ever call me again and
- 49:29Speaker 1: tell me that you think, for some reason that because
- 49:32Speaker 1: my husband told you that they were bad feet or
- 49:34Speaker 1: I needed to get a pedicure, that you have the
- 49:36Speaker 1: right to tell me that you don't know me. And
- 49:39Speaker 1: if you do ever come by my house, I swear
- 49:42Speaker 1: to God I will stick my foot up your phone
- 49:46Speaker 1: and don't ever ever trying to bring that up to
- 49:50Speaker 1: me again. Don't call my house. Well, this is what
- 49:53Speaker 1: this is what Calvin told us. Ma'am okay, Levin told
- 49:56Speaker 1: me what you are not supposed to tell a woman
- 50:00Speaker 1: that life. I said, I'm done, I'm okay, But you
- 50:04Speaker 1: do you want do you want to know what else Kelvin?
- 50:06Speaker 1: Do you want to know what else Kelvin told us
- 50:08Speaker 1: to do? Do you want to know what else Kelvin
- 50:10Speaker 1: told us to do? No? I don't. Okay, okay, but
- 50:13Speaker 1: can I just can I just please tell you what
- 50:14Speaker 1: else Kelvin told us? Seconds then I'm hanging up. Okay,
- 50:19Speaker 1: this is a moment of true Kelvin gave us a call.
- 50:22Speaker 1: He gave me a call me nephew Tommy from the
- 50:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey More on the show. He told me the
- 50:26Speaker 1: prank phone call his wife. No, I'm serious? Are you serious? Yo?
- 50:36Speaker 1: You know what sweetheart? You're you are so on car
- 50:41Speaker 1: right now because if this had actually been the fruit,
- 50:43Speaker 1: I would have been throwing my husband out the door.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Excuse my frankiness. First, How are how are you doing?
- 50:51Speaker 1: I mean not gonna have you on the phone. Can
- 50:53Speaker 1: we have at heart? Because I love you? We can
- 50:57Speaker 1: have a heart to heart. How you doing? How are
- 51:01Speaker 1: you doing? How are you doing? Doing this this whole pandemic?
- 51:04Speaker 1: How you doing? I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm you know,
- 51:08Speaker 1: my feet are looking good. But I've been listening to
- 51:10Speaker 1: you on the dayly and thank you your voice there
- 51:14Speaker 1: we go. I appreciate I've been saying up to beat
- 51:17Speaker 1: and everything. You've been putting a smile on my face
- 51:19Speaker 1: every day. Um, I feel like there's a new life
- 51:22Speaker 1: here now. You know, thinks are great. I love me
- 51:25Speaker 1: from Calvin. Let me tell you that I love you too.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I appreciate Hey twenty twenty, come on, let the nephew know.
- 51:30Speaker 1: What's the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show

- 54:04Speaker 1: we're gonna read this one right here, right now. Buggala,
- 54:09Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:10Speaker 1: is the straw of every letter. Thank you. Nephew's subject
- 54:13Speaker 1: She's taken care of, but I'm not. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:17Speaker 1: my girlfriend and I have been together for four years
- 54:20Speaker 1: and we had a normal relationship, having great sex on
- 54:23Speaker 1: the regular until two weeks ago. She started tripping about
- 54:27Speaker 1: us having sex and we're not married, but she lives
- 54:31Speaker 1: with me, which also goes against the Bible. We were
- 54:34Speaker 1: conflicted about it, but she moved in any way. After
- 54:38Speaker 1: having sex with her for four years straight, I am
- 54:41Speaker 1: doing my best to stop pressuring her for sex. That's
- 54:45Speaker 1: hard to do with her lying next to me nude
- 54:47Speaker 1: every night. I don't understand how women will practice celibacy
- 54:51Speaker 1: when it's convenient to them and base it on religion,
- 54:55Speaker 1: but will shack up with a man to allow him
- 54:57Speaker 1: to pay all of her bills and the household expense.
- 55:00Speaker 1: When she moved into my house, I took over as
- 55:03Speaker 1: the man of the house and I never asked her
- 55:05Speaker 1: for any financial help. If I jokingly asked her to
- 55:08Speaker 1: help out with a bill or buy groceries, she would
- 55:11Speaker 1: quote scripture about how man is the provider. Well, I
- 55:16Speaker 1: feel like I'm pretty much in an arrangement at this point,
- 55:18Speaker 1: and my payment for taking care of everything and stepping
- 55:21Speaker 1: up as a man is sex. Since we've been quarantined together,
- 55:26Speaker 1: she hasn't received a paycheck, so she's been using my
- 55:31Speaker 1: credit cards to shop online. I love her and would
- 55:34Speaker 1: never put her out or break up with her because
- 55:36Speaker 1: of how selfish she is, but I need to know
- 55:39Speaker 1: how to deal with her. We're already acting like we're married,
- 55:43Speaker 1: so why is she cutting out sex. I can't go
- 55:46Speaker 1: another day without it. Please help? Wow, I can't go
- 55:52Speaker 1: another I think you can go another day, but I
- 55:56Speaker 1: understand what you say. You can't go another day. Yeah,
- 56:04Speaker 1: but you know what your girlfriend in this sense, she
- 56:08Speaker 1: can't have it both ways. Okay, She's all the way
- 56:11Speaker 1: in with you for four years and then she suddenly
- 56:13Speaker 1: cuts you off. I mean people do change. I gotta
- 56:16Speaker 1: tell you, people do change. It sounds like she's ready
- 56:20Speaker 1: to start something new. She said, you guys weren't married.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Have you thought that maybe she wants to stop just
- 56:26Speaker 1: living with you and having sex with you and maybe
- 56:29Speaker 1: make it legit and become your wife. Maybe she wants
- 56:32Speaker 1: you guys to get married. Um, you know something's going
- 56:35Speaker 1: on with her, but why only deal with part of
- 56:38Speaker 1: the Bible that's convenient for you. I mean, she cuts
- 56:41Speaker 1: you off, but still living with you and sleeping naked
- 56:44Speaker 1: next to you. All Right, you guys need to have
- 56:46Speaker 1: a major conversation about what's going on here because none
- 56:50Speaker 1: of this is making sense unless, like I said, she
- 56:53Speaker 1: is really trying to get you to marry her or something.
- 56:55Speaker 1: But don't be surprised if she stopped sleeping with you
- 56:59Speaker 1: all together other and you know, moves out. That may
- 57:02Speaker 1: be what she's you know, going to do if you
- 57:05Speaker 1: don't take the hint to to you know, to marry her.
- 57:09Speaker 1: It sounds like that's what she wants to do, and
- 57:11Speaker 1: that's what she's angling towards. I know, you know, you
- 57:14Speaker 1: think sex will take care of everything as far as
- 57:17Speaker 1: you're concerned, but it sounds like she wants that and
- 57:20Speaker 1: and a little more besides your credit cards to shop
- 57:24Speaker 1: online with. Steve. Well, this letter is ridiculous. It really is.
- 57:28Speaker 1: On a lot of levels. They've got to be young.
- 57:32Speaker 1: This is these couple's got to be in their twenties. Man,
- 57:34Speaker 1: they have to be I just don't see how this
- 57:37Speaker 1: would make any sense any other way because of the
- 57:40Speaker 1: way that they both have chosen to go about it.
- 57:43Speaker 1: They've been together four years, They've had a normal relationship,
- 57:47Speaker 1: they've got great sex on the regular. Until two weeks ago.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Now four years, something's been going down a certain way,
- 57:55Speaker 1: and then just two weeks ago there's just changed. She
- 57:59Speaker 1: started ripping about y'all having sex and not being married,
- 58:05Speaker 1: but she lives with me. See, yeah, I don't understand
- 58:10Speaker 1: where this is coming from. Not but then I do
- 58:14Speaker 1: I really do you live with the man, But now
- 58:19Speaker 1: you're tripping because you're having sex and y'all ain't marriage,
- 58:21Speaker 1: but y'all living together. See if, if, if you're trying
- 58:26Speaker 1: to say it's wrong to have sex before you're married,
- 58:28Speaker 1: I understand you're saying that. You also gotta understand that
- 58:32Speaker 1: you're moving in without being married would be wrong also,
- 58:37Speaker 1: and then you would have to come to terms that
- 58:39Speaker 1: it is wrong of you to sleep naked next to
- 58:42Speaker 1: this boy every night. See, it's a lot of wrongs
- 58:46Speaker 1: going on trying to get to a right situation. Y'all
- 58:49Speaker 1: just did it out of order, that's all. And she
- 58:53Speaker 1: says that she lives with you and you all are
- 58:57Speaker 1: not married, which goes against the Bible. We were conflicted
- 59:01Speaker 1: about it, but she moved in anyway. Now after having
- 59:05Speaker 1: sex for four years straight, I'm doing my best to
- 59:07Speaker 1: stop pursuing her for sex. But that's hard to do
- 59:11Speaker 1: with her line next to me nude every night. Little girl,
- 59:15Speaker 1: you playing This is an ugly game you playing? Now
- 59:18Speaker 1: you know what you're doing. I don't understand how women
- 59:21Speaker 1: would practice celibacy when it's convenient to them and base
- 59:26Speaker 1: it on religion. But we shack up, but shack up
- 59:29Speaker 1: with a man allow him to pay all the bills
- 59:31Speaker 1: in the household expenses. When she moved into my house,
- 59:34Speaker 1: I took on as a man of the house, and
- 59:36Speaker 1: I've never asked her for any financial health. See, y'all
- 59:39Speaker 1: doing a lot of little things. That's wrong, y'all. Y'all
- 59:44Speaker 1: playing a game without without without setting rules for the game,
- 59:48Speaker 1: y'all playing now, when she moved in, you took on
- 59:52Speaker 1: the role as the man of the house, and you
- 59:55Speaker 1: don't ask cut of help with none of the bills.
- 59:57Speaker 1: It must be your house that she moved into. I
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: don't know how that works, and she's allowing you to
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: do that. I don't I'm confused. Maybe I need to
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: go and break over this commercial break and think about
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: this because I'm I'm confused. Yeah, but I bet I
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: won't be when I come back think about it. We'll
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: have part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour you heard him. He said
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: he's gonna have it together when we come back. Subjects
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: she's taken care of, but I'm not. We'll get back
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: come on, let's recap this rather confusing strawberry letter. Today.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: She's you've been with this woman for four years. They
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: lived together. They have great sex on the regular two
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: About two weeks ago she started tripping of our head
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: and sex and not being married. But they lived together
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: because that goes against the Bible. If you're talking about
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: what going against the Bible, a whole lot of stuff
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: y'all doing is wrong. We were conflicted about it, but
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: she moved in. Any way, Now, after having sex with
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: her for four straight years, he kind of had a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: hard time not pressing her for sex because she laying
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: next to him neked every night. Then he don't understand
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: our women practice celibacy when it's convenient for them and
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: based it on religion. But with shock up with a
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: man allowed him to pay all the bills in the
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: household expensive. Now here we go with a party. That
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: got me a little bit confused. When she moved into
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the house, young dude, say, I took over as a
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: man of the house, and I've never asked her for
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: any financial health Then if you jokingly asked her for
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: help with the bill or by groceries, she would quote
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: scripture about how man is the provider, So I see
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: what's happening here. Here's why I was confused. Oh, y'all
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: just pick out sections of the Bible to live by.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Oh see, I was confused, so I thought we was
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: going by the Bible in this letter. Then I found
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: out we was kind of picking out sections. Oh, y'all
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: was conflicted about living together not being married. But you
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: moved in together anyway, and you have had great sex
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: for four years. She started tripping about having a sex
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: because y'all not mad, so she cut the sex off.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: But she steady climbing in that bed, button neckt laying
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: next to you, button neck it. You don't know how
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: not to pursue her for sex. And now she ain't
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: helping out with the bills or nothing, she said, cause
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: that's the man's responsibility. According to the scripture, the man
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: is the provider. Now, he says, well, I'm pretty much
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: in an arrangement at this point, and my payment for
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: taking care of everything and stepping up up as a
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: man is sex. And see, son, what's she doing now?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Is she using the sex as a as a as
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: a as a pawn in the game to try to
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: get what she won't which is marriage, so she can
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: cut the sex off. And since y'all have been quarantined together,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: she ain't received a paycheck, so she's been using my
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: credit cards to shop online, but she ain't we're not
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: having no sex. Though I love her, would never put
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: out a break up with it because of how selfish
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: she is. Well, that's a good reason to break up
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: with the person, though, young dog, if she's selfish. Now,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: when does that her selfishness have a cut off or
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: do you know that it has one? Or is it
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: going to get worse? Or is she gonna just remain
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the same. And the harder you work, the more selfish
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: she becomes. Marriage is a partnership, Dog, is nothing else
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: but a partnership, and you've got to act like partners
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: in the moment. You don't act like partners, that's gonna
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: be a split. But I need to know how to
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: deal with her. Okay, First of all, you can't take
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: my credit cards and just buy I'm the only one
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: working right now. We need a budget and sence, you
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: the man of the house, and you in charge of
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: the finances. According to the scripture that she read, I
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: would take my credit cards and form a budget with them. Sence,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you the provider, What does the Bible say about her?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: So if the Bible got rules for me, and I'm
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: pretty sure it had some for women. So and we're
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: already acting like we're married, So why is she cutting
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: out sex? Well, I hate to introduce you to this concept.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Young man's gonna throw y'all go ahead, stew So why
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: she cutting out sex? We already acted like we're married.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: So why she cutting out sex? Because when you're getting married,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: they can do it whether they want to or not.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: That if they don't want to, they're not gonna do it. Now,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you can sit over that mad with your arms folded,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: cover up under or just cross your your your nipples
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: with the arms outside the blanket toes pointing straight up
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: in there. You could be you can hear. You can
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: have that pose in the bed over there doing this
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: head yeah until you go. But you're gonna huff puff
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: your's the sleep party. Because if they don't want to
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: when they're married, and they ain't even gotta explain nothing
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: until you when they're married. Gone, now stop. No, I'm tired.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I've been up all day with these kids. I'm tired.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I've been a cheerleading practice in blade now. So now, bro,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: if it's this way now, why would it change after
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you getting married? I'm curious. Y'all need to start over
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: and do a reset. Maybe she should go home back
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to a parent's house for wow. Maybe she should, and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: then y'all start and do a reset. But if you
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: don't get this thing straighten out now, brother, this is
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: gonna get worse and worse because selfish people don't stop
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: being selfish unless it's bought to their attention. That's my response,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: hanging the dog, hanging their dog? All right? Thank you, Steve.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: FM on Instagram and Facebook, and don't forget to check
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up

- 1:07:06Speaker 1: But right now Steve and all the way from the
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Talk on Cheron Underwood. Hey, Steve Harvey, Hey Carla Shallas Thomas. Hi, Julia,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you forgive me? Do you forgive me? Now? You forgive me?
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Hay Underwood. That doesn't sound like that, don't sound like
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: forget well, okay, hold on, we're gonna put a pin
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: in that. Let me see. I know. I'm I don't
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: want to do it. Against shall describe allis because I
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: don't want him to feel that way as a man.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: He's a grown man. I should not have spoken to
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: him like that. But speaking of speaking, um, if you
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: are the mayor of Las Vegas, you need to never
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: do an interview with Addison Cooper because you, the may
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: white people look stupid as hell. We own Team Atlanta Mayo.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Keisha last Bottom's talking my stay your ass home. That's
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: side of man. I supposed to talk right itself. That's
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: so that tattoo I was gonna get a Junior is
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: my man and I love him so across my behind.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: We'll have to wait the coronavirus. I will be I
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: will be waiting. Huh Sorry, did y'all hear that? Okay,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Yeah, it's going on my on my booty.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: As you know, I gotta put I love Junior. He's
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: the only one for me and the only one there
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: will ever be. That's enough room for that time, that
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: much behind. Yeah, I got that much space. I got
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: that much room for him. That's how much if you
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: want to, you know, I don't think I should that.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: That's close to blast fingers toy about me. It is
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: definitely about me and Junior and why I'm trying to
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: get his forgiveness. But speaking of forgiveness, I'd like to say,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: everybody need to stop make to make a beef between
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: um Michael, Jordan and Scott and Pippins. They need to
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: stop that. Now. Now I'm back in them days that
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: were back in my go go days days, back to
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Schott gooscribe me, you and Buddy Sean listen to Yeah
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I'm gonta stop playing. Yeah baby, that was back. I'm
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: back end the day when that was having let me
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: chase something, Steve Harvey. Back in them days, we used
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: to part and harder. All the clubs we were walking too.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: It used to be me, uh, Scott and Michael, you know,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: all the bells we used to all of them used
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: to walk in and they used to say, look Pet
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: yeah oh. They used to say, look, oh, look Patrick Ewing,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: you are not a part of this team. Carol Underwood.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: They would say, Patrick, we had, but you're out of
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: part of this team. This is a bulls party. But
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I love you and George. I'm Patrick. I'm down for
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: the count. All right, Cheryl, we gotta say thank you.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: We love you. Caroline an update and I'm coming up
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: next at the top of the hour. Right after this
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: you're listening to all right, tell me, come on, let's go.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: It's that time. It's Thursday, baby, and here we are.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: She is in reality update with Carl Right, thank you, Oh,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. I don't mean to cut you off.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: All right, let's get going. Real Housewives of Atlanta season finale.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Oh whoa, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So Candy and Todd
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: they were hosting and planning their big baby shower event.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: But before the shower, Candy she went to go visit
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: her mom and Mama Joyce told Candy this weird story
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: about how when she was a little girl, somebody stole
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: her lunch money and so from then on she never
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: trusted people again when it came to money. So I
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: think she was trying to drop a hint to Candy
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that she doesn't trust trust Todd when it comes to
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Candy's money. Yeah, she could be kind of messy with
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. And Todd made up. I know,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: but it sounds like they're beefing again. So anyway, later
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Candy Tod all she thanked God Todd came in there
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: and stole some money off her dresser, that she was
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: going grocery shopping during the quarantine. Okay, I'm here, I'm
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: here for you, all right. So anyway, later Candy told
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: her husband Todd that her mom, Mama Joyce, is not
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: coming to their baby shower. Because when Candy and Mama
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Joyce were at their restaurant, you know Candy and Todd,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: you know they own a bunch of restaurants, Old Lady
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Gang restaurants. Anyway, Todd didn't come and speak to them.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: So Todd said that he didn't feel like being bothered.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: He had a lot on his mind that day. But
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Candy was like, you still should have come to the
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: front of the restaurant to say hello. So Todd was like, drama, drama, drama.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Keim and Candy were beefing at the shower where he decided.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: He said he did call his mother in law to
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: apologize for not speaking. So that was that. Do you
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: have an or on that, Steve or anything or Jess,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: you know, he really didn't feel like going out there
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: that day. You know, Damn, y'all in the restaurant you're eating,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you ain't charging you. Now, I got to come out
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: there and kiss your behind too. Damn. I'm back here
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: trying to make this restaurant work. You in here eating
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: free out of compt your meal now high hell, I
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: love or break down, Steve. I love so now Nini
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: and Portia they are back cool. Just in case you
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: were wondering, But the beef is still on between Kenya
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: and Nini. Kenya basically called Ninie a bully and that
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: was all in the blogs. And then Ninie called her
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: friend at the time they were real friends, Wendy Williams,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and she, I mean, she dropped some drama tea. I
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: just I couldn't believe the stuff that Nedy was saying
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: to Wendy Williams that she heard that Kenya and Mark
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: weren't actually married and it was a handshake agreement for
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Kenya and Mark to have their baby. I was like,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: what in the world, huh? Me was saying some crazy
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: stuff to Wendy that day on the phone. Do you
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: have anything for that? Steve? And I ain't never shook
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: a woman hand, I got seven kids. All right, moving on,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: there's your oar. So much for that theory. Yeah, I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: didn't get that at all. Anyway. At the shower, Kenya Nini.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: They all went to Candy and Todd's baby shower to
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: support and Kenya and Nini they were arguing it was
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: about to pop off. Things calmed down. Got all my
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: money on Niani though if it pop off, it's too much.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: It was just but at the shower they calmed things down,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: and Candy and Todd they announced the name of the
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: baby girls. So the family and friends they got a
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: chance to vote on what they were going to actually
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: name their daughter to be in her name. Out of
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Banks or Blaze. Out of those two. Out of those,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: she said, out of hell, you name your baby out
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: of Fall. That was a country moment right there, Blaze
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: or Banks. The winner was Blaze. Everybody picked Blaze Tucker,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: so that's their baby girl's name. And quickly before we
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: run out or Banks? Uh huh, Blaze Tucker. Cynthia and
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Mike Hills, Yes, but they picked Blaze. But I want
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: to say this to you quickly. Cynthia and Mike Hill
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: have set their wedding date. It's ten ten, twenty twenty.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back at you're listening to show
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: new couple Alert Common and Tiffany Hattish really well. First
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: quarantine together. Okay, she admitted that Tiffany did that. She
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: end Yeah. Yeah, they were quarantined together, and they went
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: on a virtual date courtesy of the dating app Bumble. Uh.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Some of the date was posted on social media. Commons
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: sent Tiffany flowers, They danced and ordered food for themselves
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: and the healthcare workers on the front lines, and even
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: commons x to ry gp Henson commented on the virtual
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: dating uh, saying it was admirable. Um, so, Junior, might
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: be time for you to go on a virtual date
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: and get out. You know, let me try that. I'm
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: gonna figure out how are we going about doing anything.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: We'll just called Cheryl. Let me see what you do.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Right then, But you had told us before, Junior. You
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you know, you said a couple of women have been
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: hitting you on ding. Oh yeah, that's going pretty good.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: But you know, Sherley, dude, I'm making women upset, I said,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you know, that's all she did. She made them upset.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Now they're eating me all the time. Now, now I
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: got here. That's why I spoke to her, like that,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: is she here? Who Sheryl not? That's why I spoke
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: to her. She ain't here? You scared? Is she here?
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: You got here? You say you have two miss ethels Now? Oh?
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I mean you know you know? I'm just shug my wow.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Congratulations Junior. All right, No, she's here. More of Steve
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up, and some trending news at
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this. I
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: wanted you're listening Morning show. Okay, all week we've been
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: talking about Georgia. We've been talking about Tennessee and South Carolina. Well,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: now possibly Texas is getting ready to reopen. And it's
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: not just the South. Okay, it's not just the South.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Give the South the break because we can go out
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: west and talk to a Las Vegas talk about Las
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. She said it is time to
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: open the casinos. Take a listen to Vegas Mayor Goodman's
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: interview with Anderson Cooper from CNN. I mean, you're talking
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: about encouraging hundreds of thousands of people to come to
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Las Vegas. I get the financial losses people are suffering,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: which is awful, but you're encouraging. I mean, hundreds of
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: thousands of people coming there in casinos, smoking, drinking, touching
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: slot machines, breathing circulated air, and then returning home to
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: states around America and countries around the world. Doesn't that
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: sound like a virus? Petrie Dish, how is that what?
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: It sounds like? You're being an alarmist. I'm not. I've
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: lived a long life. I grew up in the heart
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: of Manhattan. I know what it's like to be subways
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: and I'm buses and elevators. I think you are by
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: saying of what you have just said. So you don't
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: believe there should be any social distancing. You don't believe
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: that this is I believe there should be. Of course,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: how do you do that in a casino. That's up
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: to them to figure out. I don't own a casino.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: You tell me that, I'm like amazed. You know what's
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: shocking to me? What? These are elected leaders, leader officials
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: camp They elected Kemp, they elected this woman, they elected
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Donald Trump. These are elected people. People went in there
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: and voted for these people. And when you hear this
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: as a person with supposedly common sense. How the hell
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: does this make sense to you? No one on this
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: show loves and does Vegas like me. Right, If you
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: don't think I want to go to Vegas, you are
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: sadly mistaken. But if you opened it Friday, you won't
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: see Steve Harvey ass out there because because you know why.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Irregardless as to what this president said, America, we've tested
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: more people. That's not true. That's not true. Anybody can
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: get a test. That's not true. Testing sites are available
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: to every American. That's not true. The peal that they
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: thought was gonna work. More people that they gave a
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: peal to die from coronavirus than they didn't give it to.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: And there isn't a vaccine, and we haven't flattened the curved.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Why the hell would I go outside for coming up?
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Our last break of the day. There's a breaker to
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: day and we'll have some closing remarks of forty nine
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: minutes after from the one and only Steve Harvey. Right
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show all right, Steve, here
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: we are, last break of the day. It's been a
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: good day, been a good day, Grateful to be here
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: a day. Thank you lord, Um, I mean really, we
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: still got to stay home and stay safe and all
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: that and pray and thanks to the front liners, you
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: know to yes, everybody that you know puts their life
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: on the line every day. Yeah, and I got some
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: new mask coming to the house. Friend of mine sending
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: me ten new masks because I needed the ones, I
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: told them because I got an N ninety five mask,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: but it's a regular size. I said, look, man, I
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: need something that my nose and lips can any one.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: I don't have to be feeling every time I move
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: my lips they touching the cone. And I just said
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I need something else, and ain't gonna They actually look
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: better with their mask. I know a lot of people
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: better with the mask on. That is not a good thing, Okay,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: just now, some people really look better with the mask on.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: It is me. Look, it's gonna be a way of
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: life for a minute, so I think you better get
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: used to it. Yeah, you're gonna get creative. It's be wild. Yeah,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: well incredible, especially since they're opening up these cities. Which yeah,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: let me say this about this because I know I've
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: been harping on it and talking about it, and I've
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: been kind of angry about this mayor, I mean this
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: governor of Georgia. And I've been in such a support
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: of the mayor Mayor Kesha Bottoms, and I think that listen, man,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: let me just say something pointed and direct. If we
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: don't have nothing else, we have common sense. We don't
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: always get the best education, we don't always grow up
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: in the best neighborhoods. We don't always benefit from the
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: best facilities. We don't always get off to the best starts,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: we don't always grow up with all of the best opportunities.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: But the one thing I can say about us, we
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: are we have a sense of survival in us. That
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: that comes from a history of having to survive. Now,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: with that in mind, I don't want you to forego that.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I that you have this thing that is borne in you,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: that causes you to survive against all odds. Don't throw
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: that to the wind. Just speak cause you tired now.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I'm tired of being locked up, I'm tired of being quarantine.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of being in this house. Everybody
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: is sick of this quarantine on some level, and to
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: some degree everyone is. But y'all, don't let you're fatigue
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: in this matter, make you throw caution to the wind
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: and take yourself out here amongst these masses that ain't
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: paying attention to what's really going on. You have something
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: to live for, you have everything to lose. You can't
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: act like you ain't got no reason to live, and
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you can't run around here acting like you ain't got
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: nothing to lose, because you do. You are important and significant,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: and you matter to a number of people, and you
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: have a number of people in your life who happen
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to matter to you. Don't you dare be so reckless
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: as to go out and endanger the lives of someone
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you really care because you don't want to attend a
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: funeral because of some idiotic move you made because you
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: are impatient, and you listen to a man who ain't thinking.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: You know, it's amazing how these elected officials who voted
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: for these people and then sent up it. If you
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: voted for Kemp. Let's say you voted for him, So
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: what that means you support everything he does? Do you
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: think because you vote for somebody that that gives them
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: absolute power and that makes them right on every single level?
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: It don't. This dude is wrong, Like two left shoes. Man,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: This dude is wrong as he can be. And to
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: tell this state to open up in bowling alleies and
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: tattooed paul is and beauty saloons and nail shops and
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: bob and shops and movie theaters. Are you nuts? What
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: is your comment sense telling you? It's not telling you
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to run out here. You don't need a hair cut
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: that bad. You ain't supposed to be going nowhere. I
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: know all the ladies won't say had done, but you
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: cannot run the risk of getting your hair done. And
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: then when this thing is over with you dead, and
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: you didn't bought it back in your house and you
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: didn't killed your grandmother, your grandfather, your aunt, somebody you
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: care about because you bought. You bought this German to
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: the house that can incubate in your body for two weeks.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: That's why you have to quarantine when you go to
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: these country for two weeks so they can see if
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: you got it or not. But you didn't already passed
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: it on by then. And then when you get diagnosed
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: and you die, then later on you find out that
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: they diagnosed two with it and they could die. That's
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: how serious this thing is. This is life and death.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: All these ignorant people talking about my body, my choice.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: What what are you talking about? This ain't pro life
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: options here, This is life for death. This ain't the
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: choice of you making the decision to end the life.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: You may end a life not knowing, and somebody's life
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: could end because of your recklessness and carelessness. Y'all stay home, man,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: fool this cat. Show him that we are thinkers. Listen
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: to me. I know you have common sense, and I
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: know you have survival instincts. I'm asking you to use
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: both of them until this thing is over. We've survived
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: much worse than this. If you don't remember, just read
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: your history books. We've done bigger things than this, and
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: this too shall pass. Hey, that's it, y'all. Y'all have
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: a great day to day. I know I will. I'm
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: gonna going guess what I'm gonna do. Same thing digested
