- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict was centered Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you and center. The big question I think everyone in
- 0:07Speaker 2: this country is asking themselves right now and talking about,
- 0:11Speaker 2: is how did this happen?
- 0:13Speaker 1: What went wrong?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Well, we're a day and a half removed from the
- 0:17Speaker 3: first presidential assassination attempt since nineteen eighty one, since the
- 0:20Speaker 3: assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan. A day and a half ago,
- 0:25Speaker 3: Donald Trump was shot by a crazed assassin, and I
- 0:30Speaker 3: got to say, what millions of Americans are thinking is
- 0:34Speaker 3: how in the hell did this happen? What went wrong?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Why did Secret Service not stop this? Why was there
- 0:42Speaker 3: not additional security? Why was this guy able to get
- 0:45Speaker 3: on a damn roof and fire a rifle at the president?
- 0:50Speaker 3: And where was where the security protocols to prevent that?
- 0:53Speaker 3: We're going to break that down. We're also going to
- 0:55Speaker 3: talk about the incessant, violent, hateful, horrifying rhetoric from Democrats
- 1:05Speaker 3: that pressed and pressed and pressed and pressed until this happened,
- 1:10Speaker 3: And right now they're acting like they're utterly innocent. They
- 1:13Speaker 3: have no idea why anyone would look to them as
- 1:16Speaker 3: playing a role causing this, This horrific assassination attempt.
- 1:21Speaker 4: We're going to talk about that too.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Yeah. It's just certainly two very important stories and important

- 2:44Speaker 2: Verdict Center. The question that everybody is asking is, and
- 2:49Speaker 2: you mentioned it, how did this happen? And not only that,
- 2:53Speaker 2: but there's these eyewitness accounts that have come out that
- 2:57Speaker 2: lend to that question becoming even more of.
- 3:00Speaker 1: An outrage, like, how the hell did this happen?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, no, no, no, it's infuriating. And I want to
- 3:06Speaker 3: start by us by a BBC interview with with with
- 3:11Speaker 3: a gentleman who was at the rally. He was standing
- 3:13Speaker 3: outside the rally, but he witnessed the shooter before the shooting,
- 3:17Speaker 3: and he was desperately trying to point him out to
- 3:19Speaker 3: law enforcement, and and and it's just that this this
- 3:22Speaker 3: cant came out with with within minutes of the shooting happening,
- 3:27Speaker 3: and it and it really just defies defies words.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Give a listen.
- 3:33Speaker 5: See you were inside the event, but you were just outside.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Tell us what yes. So, so we had a party
- 3:40Speaker 5: here all day due you can see behind us at
- 3:43Speaker 5: the Brinkle's Farming greenhouse here. We had a party and
- 3:47Speaker 5: we all decided, hey, you know, when when we hear
- 3:49Speaker 5: Trump up there, we're going to walk up through the field,
- 3:52Speaker 5: stand by the trees out there under the shade and
- 3:55Speaker 5: watch the ring and listen to the rally. Right. We
- 3:56Speaker 5: couldn't see them, but we could hear him. So we
- 4:00Speaker 5: walked up and probably five to seven minutes of Trump's
- 4:05Speaker 5: speaking on estimating here, I have no idea, you know.
- 4:08Speaker 6: But.
- 4:10Speaker 5: We noticed the guy crawling arming, you know, bear crawling
- 4:15Speaker 5: up the roof of the building beside us, fifty feet
- 4:19Speaker 5: away from us. So we're standing in there, you know,
- 4:22Speaker 5: we're pointing. We're pointing at the guy crawling up the roof.
- 4:25Speaker 5: And he had a rifle. He could clearly see him
- 4:28Speaker 5: with a rifle. Absolutely, we're pointing at him. The police
- 4:32Speaker 5: are down there running around on the ground. We're like, hey, man,
- 4:36Speaker 5: there's guy on the roof with the rifle. And the
- 4:38Speaker 5: police were like, huh what, you know, like like they
- 4:41Speaker 5: didn't know what was going on. You know, We're like, hey,
- 4:43Speaker 5: right here on the roof, he can see him from
- 4:44Speaker 5: right here, we see him, you know, he's crawling. And
- 4:49Speaker 5: next thing you know, I'm like, I'm thinking to myself,
- 4:51Speaker 5: I'm like, why is Trump still speaking? Why have they
- 4:54Speaker 5: not pulled him off the stage. I'm standing there pointing
- 4:56Speaker 5: at him for you know, two three minutes. Secrets Service
- 5:00Speaker 5: is looking at us from the top of the barn.
- 5:02Speaker 5: I'm pointing at that roof, just standing there like this,
- 5:06Speaker 5: And next thing, you know, five shots run out. So
- 5:09Speaker 5: you'll you're sudden where the shots coming from, not coming
- 5:12Speaker 5: on the one hundred, and he was up there for
- 5:15Speaker 5: a couple of minutes. He was out there for him
- 5:17Speaker 5: there for a couple of minutes, absolutely at least three
- 5:19Speaker 5: to four minutes. And you were telling the police in
- 5:21Speaker 5: the secret stuff, we were telling the police we were
- 5:23Speaker 5: pointing at him. For the Secret Service who were looking
- 5:25Speaker 5: at us from the top of the barn. They were
- 5:27Speaker 5: looking at us the whole time. When you stand about
- 5:29Speaker 5: that tree. Thanks for the oculars. Could they see, Probably
- 5:32Speaker 5: not because the roof the way that the slope went,
- 5:35Speaker 5: he was behind where they could see. But why is
- 5:38Speaker 5: there not secret Service on all of these roofs here?
- 5:41Speaker 5: I mean, this is not a big place.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Did you see?
- 5:44Speaker 5: I mean obviously everyone when the shooting started, everyone was
- 5:47Speaker 5: very kind of did you see what I'm saying him
- 5:49Speaker 5: at all? Oh? Yeah, they blues head off. Okay, so
- 5:53Speaker 5: secret Service blues head on and we'll be okay, we
- 5:54Speaker 5: just be carefully because we don't know quite he's watching.
- 5:57Speaker 5: But you're pretty sure they show up. The guy absolutely
- 6:00Speaker 5: say yep, you saw that happen. Yep, yep, okay, yep.
- 6:03Speaker 5: And did you see them go up to him? Off
- 6:06Speaker 5: to it? So they yeah, they crawled up on the roof.
- 6:09Speaker 5: They had their guns pointed out and make sure he
- 6:11Speaker 5: was dead. He was dead, and that was it.
- 6:13Speaker 6: It was over.
- 6:14Speaker 5: That's incredibly shof. The guy was on the roof right there.
- 6:17Speaker 5: You can see the right roof right there. You could
- 6:20Speaker 5: to look at him, could you, I know, other.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Than he was in.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Muted collers, tanned tight clothing. We saw the rifle flinging
- 6:29Speaker 5: around as he was trying to crawl. I mean, we
- 6:31Speaker 5: saw the rifle one hundred percent? Do you I mean,
- 6:33Speaker 5: do you know about couns? Do you know what kind
- 6:34Speaker 5: of weapon it was?
- 6:35Speaker 6: Oh?
- 6:35Speaker 5: Absolutely, know about guns for sure. Yeah, I mean there
- 6:38Speaker 5: is a rifle of some sort. I wouldn't know, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 5: I wasn't close enough to read the label on him,
- 6:42Speaker 5: but there was a rifle.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Of some sort.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely. So what do you how do you process
- 6:49Speaker 5: what you've just seen? I don't know what to say, man.
- 6:54Speaker 5: I'll tell you is you know if I if I
- 6:59Speaker 5: walked up closer there with anything that can Secret Service
- 7:02Speaker 5: considered a problem, I wouldn't be standing here talking to
- 7:06Speaker 5: you right now. But I don't know why a guy
- 7:08Speaker 5: who we're standing there point now to police and Secret
- 7:11Speaker 5: Service is crawling up the roof where you're on the
- 7:14Speaker 5: side of the spear. Yes, right there by that tree.
- 7:18Speaker 5: We were outside the security demy. But my question is,
- 7:22Speaker 5: there's only a few buildings around here. Why is Secret
- 7:25Speaker 5: Service not in every building here? There's a whole bunch
- 7:28Speaker 5: of questions. I think they're going to come. There's a
- 7:30Speaker 5: whole bunch of questions.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you listen to this guy, he's a concerned citizen. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 2: he says, we're yelling there's a guy on the roof.
- 7:39Speaker 2: And I do think it's important because there's been a
- 7:42Speaker 2: lot of people that have been critical of the of
- 7:43Speaker 2: the snipers that took him out, saying, how do they
- 7:46Speaker 2: not see him? You notice he said, I'm sure they
- 7:48Speaker 2: couldn't see him on the back part of the roof,
- 7:50Speaker 2: right it was slanted from them. And I think that's
- 7:53Speaker 2: important that those guys did their job when they saw
- 7:57Speaker 2: him from what we understand, and this guy said, look,
- 8:00Speaker 2: they couldn't see him.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Where he was well, and that really goes to the
- 8:05Speaker 3: preparation of Secret Service for the event and for the
- 8:09Speaker 3: manpower that it certainly appears there was woefully insufficient manpower
- 8:15Speaker 3: to make that rally safe. The snipers on the other
- 8:18Speaker 3: side of the roof, from everything, it appears, couldn't see
- 8:22Speaker 3: him because the roof was sloped away. Where the sniper
- 8:26Speaker 3: was was one hundred and sixty four yards away from
- 8:29Speaker 3: President Trump.
- 8:30Speaker 4: That is not very far.
- 8:31Speaker 3: It's certainly not far with a rifle with a scope.
- 8:34Speaker 3: One hundred and sixty four yard.
- 8:35Speaker 2: By the way, I talked today to someone that is
- 8:38Speaker 2: in Secret Service and he said that is twenty percent
- 8:43Speaker 2: of the range that they trained to look for. Yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 2: just to put in perspective, so this would be if
- 8:50Speaker 2: you were leighing out. Now, Okay, that's ten percent away
- 8:52Speaker 2: of what we trained for. This guy was within twenty
- 8:55Speaker 2: percent of what they trained for to look for snipers.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Well, and a story that all so broke. The Associated
- 9:01Speaker 3: pet Press reported yesterday quote a local law enforcement officer
- 9:07Speaker 3: climbed to the roof and found crooks the gunman, who
- 9:12Speaker 3: pointed the rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down
- 9:16Speaker 3: the ladder, and the gunman quickly fired towards Trump. The
- 9:19Speaker 3: official said, that's when US Secret Service gunman shot him.
- 9:23Speaker 3: The official said, so that's really astonishing. That means law
- 9:27Speaker 3: enforcements saw him before he fired. The shots came up
- 9:30Speaker 3: the ladder, the guy pointed the rifle at him. Now,
- 9:33Speaker 3: presumably we don't know the answer to this right now,
- 9:35Speaker 3: but presumably that law enforcement was not in contact with
- 9:39Speaker 3: a secret service.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Not in the same frequency, which reminds me so much.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And my next question he was going to be about
- 9:45Speaker 2: what we saw after nine to eleven. After nine to eleven,
- 9:49Speaker 2: what we realized was is that there were too many
- 9:52Speaker 2: government agencies that weren't able to talk to one another
- 9:55Speaker 2: that weren't talking to one another. It was FBI over here,
- 9:59Speaker 2: Secret Service over here, and then the CIA over here,
- 10:03Speaker 2: and they weren't sharing information the way that they needed to.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Is it possible that in.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Twenty twenty four, we have everyone at this event, but
- 10:11Speaker 2: they're not able to speak to one another for whatever reason.
- 10:15Speaker 4: It is astonishing. And look at the timing of this.
- 10:18Speaker 3: So you've got this guy on the roof, a police
- 10:21Speaker 3: officer comes up the ladder, He turns around, points the
- 10:23Speaker 3: gun at the police officer.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Look.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I don't fault the police officer for ducking back down
- 10:27Speaker 3: when you get a rifle pointed at you. But it
- 10:30Speaker 3: takes a little bit of time for a gunman to
- 10:33Speaker 3: turn around then and aim and sight up and fire
- 10:38Speaker 3: the shots and fire them close enough that they hit
- 10:42Speaker 3: the President's ear. That takes a little bit of time.
- 10:46Speaker 3: That doesn't happen in five seconds, presumably if they're on
- 10:51Speaker 3: the same frequency. The instant the officer sees him in
- 10:55Speaker 3: your microphone, you're yelling gun, gun, gun, and the snipeppers
- 11:00Speaker 3: can immediately train on him, so when the guy pokes
- 11:02Speaker 3: his head over to shoot, they can take him out
- 11:05Speaker 3: right Then, if they were.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Talking to each other.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Well, and not even that.
- 11:09Speaker 2: If you went through it and they said shooter, shooter, shooter,
- 11:11Speaker 2: you would immediately grab the president and pull him to
- 11:14Speaker 2: the ground or rush him off the stage.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Absolutely, that's true. You don't even have you can take it.
- 11:20Speaker 3: They didn't pull him down. And that's what that observer
- 11:23Speaker 3: was saying. He's like, why is Trump still on the stage,
- 11:26Speaker 3: Why is he still talking? This guy's there with a
- 11:28Speaker 3: rifle like he's frustrated out of his mind. And let
- 11:33Speaker 3: me just pause and say, thank God, I believe God's
- 11:37Speaker 3: protection was on Donald Trump amen that day. Thank God
- 11:41Speaker 3: he turned his head. Had that bullet been an inch
- 11:45Speaker 3: or even a half an inch to the left, we
- 11:50Speaker 3: could be dealing with a very different show right now,
- 11:55Speaker 3: with a completed assassination. Yeah, and I do believe it
- 12:02Speaker 3: was God's providence that made that bullet miss. But we
- 12:08Speaker 3: need to ask and I want you to listen. Also,
- 12:11Speaker 3: so Dan Bongino was on Fox and Friends, and you
- 12:15Speaker 3: and I are both friends with Danny, terrific guy.
- 12:18Speaker 1: But former's secret service agent for viewer that may not
- 12:21Speaker 1: know that for fifteen years.
- 12:22Speaker 3: So what Dan did before he got into radio and
- 12:26Speaker 3: began commenting is he was a Secret Service to agent,
- 12:28Speaker 3: so he knows Secret Service presidential protection at a level.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Frankly that unless you've been done that service for a
- 12:36Speaker 3: decade or more, you don't know it. I want you
- 12:38Speaker 3: to listen to this interview because it really does highlight
- 12:44Speaker 3: the massive, massive security failures that day.
- 12:49Speaker 5: I think your thoughts on this, Dan just continue where
- 12:51Speaker 5: you left off on the reaction here.
- 12:55Speaker 8: So again, open security questions right now. And this is
- 12:58Speaker 8: why again I think the Secret Service the pr Anthony
- 13:02Speaker 8: googly m. He has to be very careful about what
- 13:04Speaker 8: they put out. You know, he says in his in
- 13:06Speaker 8: his ex posts and you can read it yourself. You
- 13:08Speaker 8: don't need to hear from me that they deployed these
- 13:11Speaker 8: extra resources and technology. Okay, well, which ones you're telling me?
- 13:16Speaker 8: The best technology you have was deployed? And you missed
- 13:20Speaker 8: a shooter one hundred and thirty yards? Say it was
- 13:22Speaker 8: two hundred yards. The Secret Service CS team PETE the
- 13:26Speaker 8: counter Sniper team, And I'm not sure those two guys
- 13:29Speaker 8: are Secret Service. We have to remember that we don't
- 13:31Speaker 8: always when we go to New York. Sometimes with high
- 13:34Speaker 8: level protectees, we'll use MYPDESU counter sniper. So I'm not
- 13:37Speaker 8: really sure they Either way, they'd still be briefed in.
- 13:41Speaker 8: The question we have to ask is if that's the
- 13:43Speaker 8: best technology we have. And we had a CS team
- 13:46Speaker 8: up there with a shooter that you know, we're trained
- 13:48Speaker 8: out to one thousand yards in the Secret Service with
- 13:50Speaker 8: the counter sniper team, how did they miss someone at most,
- 13:54Speaker 8: you know, one fifth of the way there. It doesn't
- 13:57Speaker 8: make any sense. And even worse, it's broad daily right
- 14:00Speaker 8: on a white roof. So again open questions here. Was
- 14:03Speaker 8: there forward looking at infrared deployed? Was there aerial support, drones, helicopters?
- 14:09Speaker 8: You know, something happened to you If you go back
- 14:11Speaker 8: and listen to the audio. I want you to listen
- 14:13Speaker 8: to this after I get off here, when Donald Trump,
- 14:16Speaker 8: after this tragic thing happens, you'll see the Secret Service agents.
- 14:19Speaker 6: And by the way, I know some of those guys personally.
- 14:22Speaker 8: It takes a lot to run into bullets divorcing the
- 14:26Speaker 8: security failure. So at least they did that part, you know, correctly,
- 14:29Speaker 8: and they knew what they were doing after the security
- 14:32Speaker 8: absolutely fail. But you're going to hear something if you
- 14:34Speaker 8: listen closely. The guys mentions hawkeye on the scene. He's
- 14:39Speaker 8: talking about those two the BLACKBDU with the tactical gear
- 14:43Speaker 8: CAT element, that two man CAT element that stands for
- 14:46Speaker 8: counter Assault Team. That's a Secret Service special weapons team
- 14:50Speaker 8: equivalent to our SWAT. So they're there, they all deployed.
- 14:54Speaker 8: The bunting around the front of the stage is probably armor.
- 14:57Speaker 8: Donald Trump knew to Duck. I mean most people would.
- 15:01Speaker 8: He saved his own life. That's just a fact. The
- 15:04Speaker 8: evacuation did not go right. I mean the rule with
- 15:07Speaker 8: the Secret Services covered the protect ee and evacuate. The
- 15:10Speaker 8: other rule is maximum to the protect ee, minimum to
- 15:13Speaker 8: the problem. Why minimum to the problem because you don't
- 15:17Speaker 8: know that's the only problem.
- 15:19Speaker 6: It could be a distraction.
- 15:20Speaker 8: There could be another person in the crowd, so if
- 15:23Speaker 8: you don't jump on the protectee, you could be looking
- 15:26Speaker 8: at multiple shooters. So at least that part the guys
- 15:29Speaker 8: there stepped up there. But the failure here is absolutely catastrophic.
- 15:35Speaker 8: And I got to tell you the Secret Service should
- 15:37Speaker 8: be very careful. I could tell you and absolutely confirm
- 15:41Speaker 8: from the horse's mouth from multiple people, not just one.
- 15:44Speaker 8: And I saw Congressman Waltz text this out before on X.
- 15:48Speaker 8: There have been repeated requests to increase the security footprint
- 15:52Speaker 8: around not just the residences of Donald Trump, but the
- 15:55Speaker 8: body itself.
- 15:57Speaker 6: They have been rebuffed.
- 15:58Speaker 8: Like I said, I can tell you actually quote the
- 16:00Speaker 8: Secret Service directors completely failed and candidly should resign today.
- 16:05Speaker 8: Kim Cheatle has failed Donald Trump and honestly failed Joe
- 16:09Speaker 8: Biden too. He's the president right now. Where's the DHS secretary?
- 16:13Speaker 8: I mean, this is you're blaming it on manpower. So
- 16:17Speaker 8: just to be clear, we're a four trillion dollar United
- 16:20Speaker 8: States government and we can't fork over enough money to
- 16:23Speaker 8: keep our people alive. And then you're sending out tweets like, oh,
- 16:26Speaker 8: this is the best technology we have really to let
- 16:29Speaker 8: a sniper one hundred and fifty yards away from the
- 16:32Speaker 8: potential next president shoot a piece.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Of a zero off? Did that's your victory lap? Give
- 16:38Speaker 6: me a break, man.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Let me just stop there. And I want to ask
- 16:41Speaker 2: you this because it was the question that I was asked.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And I was sitting today at lunch with a guy
- 16:49Speaker 2: that has taken out some of the worst terrafs literally
- 16:52Speaker 2: in the world, and the question that I was asking
- 16:57Speaker 2: him was like, how does this even get happen?
- 16:59Speaker 6: He said?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Number one, Ben he goes they didn't have enough people.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Clearly didn't have enough coverage. He said, I don't know
- 17:06Speaker 2: how with the budget that they have, how they didn't
- 17:09Speaker 2: have enough money to pay for enough people to cover
- 17:11Speaker 2: the president of the United States of America. And I
- 17:13Speaker 2: think that's a very valid point that many Americans are
- 17:15Speaker 2: asking themselves right now. Forget if you're a Republican or
- 17:18Speaker 2: Democrat center. We pay a lot of money in taxes.
- 17:23Speaker 2: We have trillions of dollars in debt. You're telling me
- 17:26Speaker 2: that we're but we got a line on him here
- 17:29Speaker 2: that we're really worried about, and a budget here on
- 17:31Speaker 2: Secret Service to protect the president of the United States
- 17:33Speaker 2: of America, whether it's a former or current.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Well.
- 17:38Speaker 3: As Dan Bongino rightly said, there were clearly catastrophic security failures.
- 17:43Speaker 3: And I want to draw a distinction between the individual
- 17:46Speaker 3: Secret Service agents.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Amen, and I want to praise their heirge.
- 17:50Speaker 6: Amen.
- 17:50Speaker 3: They put their bodies in front of Donald Trump. They
- 17:54Speaker 3: stood up and surrounded him and were there to block
- 17:57Speaker 3: a bullet, and they risked their lives to do that,
- 18:00Speaker 3: and and and and so the criticism is not of
- 18:04Speaker 3: those individual agents who did everything they could, but it
- 18:09Speaker 3: is of the leadership of Secret Service, and it is
- 18:12Speaker 3: ultimately of the political leadership. It is Alejandro Majorcis who
- 18:17Speaker 3: is completely a wall on this.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Yeah, where's he? How is he not in front of
- 18:20Speaker 1: a camera?
- 18:21Speaker 3: And listen, Bongino is exactly right that the head of
- 18:27Speaker 3: the Secret Service should resign over this.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I was going to ask you, you believe that the
- 18:31Speaker 1: Secret Service, the head should resign.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Yes, And I also believe.
- 18:35Speaker 3: So I joined with a number of other senators calling
- 18:38Speaker 3: on Dick Durbin, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee,
- 18:41Speaker 3: to hold an emergency hearing, bringing together the head of
- 18:46Speaker 3: the Secret Service and and the Secretary of Homeland Security
- 18:49Speaker 3: and Chris Ray, the director of the FBI, for a
- 18:52Speaker 3: hearing to ask them what the hell went what wrong?
- 18:56Speaker 4: How did this? How did this happen?
- 18:59Speaker 6: And and and it.
- 19:02Speaker 4: It's clear.
- 19:04Speaker 3: You didn't have manpower on the other roofs, you didn't
- 19:09Speaker 3: have enough agents, you didn't scope out. And you know,
- 19:12Speaker 3: one of the interesting things, every other security detail, if
- 19:17Speaker 3: you have a security detail that is capitol police, if
- 19:20Speaker 3: you have security detail that is with a governor or
- 19:24Speaker 3: with the mayor, generally speaking, they can't control their environment.
- 19:29Speaker 4: So they go into whatever the environment is and.
- 19:31Speaker 3: The officers there are trying to protect the protect team,
- 19:35Speaker 3: but they can't control their environment. Secret Service is different.
- 19:38Speaker 3: When they come in, they control the environment, They set
- 19:40Speaker 3: up magnetometers at the event, they take over buildings, they
- 19:43Speaker 3: move people out. They have the ability to come in
- 19:47Speaker 3: and look at the environment and say, Okay, if there's
- 19:51Speaker 3: a vulnerability, who would exploit it? And by the way,
- 19:54Speaker 3: you don't have to get crazy hypothetical about a high
- 19:57Speaker 3: powered rifle with a scope, because that's how JFK was shot.
- 20:01Speaker 3: I mean, we're aware that is one of the principal
- 20:05Speaker 3: ways that an assassin will look to take out a president.
- 20:08Speaker 3: And and I'll tell you that there was another story
- 20:12Speaker 3: that that that that that broke today, uh, which which
- 20:16Speaker 3: was was sent out by Real Clear Politics that says
- 20:21Speaker 3: and I want to read this, uh.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I want to read this.
- 20:27Speaker 3: From Susan Crabtree from Real Clear Politics. Here's what she
- 20:30Speaker 3: sent out quote. This is the problem that my secret source.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Secret sources have cited Secret Services resources were diverted to
- 20:39Speaker 3: Jill Biden's event and away from Trump's because they followed
- 20:45Speaker 3: agency protocol applying to Trump as a former president. According
- 20:50Speaker 3: to two sources within the Secret Service community. There were
- 20:54Speaker 3: also many supplemental agents from different field officers, not Trump's
- 20:59Speaker 3: regular detail, providing security at the rally because Trump's regular
- 21:04Speaker 3: detail has been overworked, some working seven days straight and
- 21:08Speaker 3: only two counter snipers. But Trump is not just a
- 21:14Speaker 3: former president. He is the first in modern history to
- 21:18Speaker 3: have run for president again, and he has been the
- 21:21Speaker 3: focus of several prosecutions and controversies. Under statement intentional who
- 21:28Speaker 3: made the decision to divert the resources to Jill Biden's
- 21:33Speaker 3: event First Lady, doctor Jill Biden and former President Donald
- 21:38Speaker 3: Trump campaigning in Pittsburgh today. So the reporting is they
- 21:42Speaker 3: pulled Secret Service resources away from Trump's rally to the
- 21:46Speaker 3: event with the First Lady. Now, look, the First Lady
- 21:47Speaker 3: needs to be protected. But to what extent is Secret
- 21:53Speaker 3: Service treating Trump simply as another former president rather than
- 21:59Speaker 3: right now now the leading candidate to be president of
- 22:02Speaker 3: the United States and someone who has been targeted with
- 22:05Speaker 3: vitriol And we're going to get into this more, but
- 22:07Speaker 3: as targeted with vitriol such that they're is a threat
- 22:10Speaker 3: level against him that any moron should be aware of.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I would love to know the threat assessment and I
- 22:17Speaker 2: hope that you guys in Congress get this, because I
- 22:20Speaker 2: would want to know how many threats are coming in
- 22:22Speaker 2: against Donald Trump, even compared to Joe Biden even or
- 22:25Speaker 2: are compared to Barack Obama or compared to George W.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Bush.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I mean, the number has got to be staggering of
- 22:32Speaker 2: legitimate threats coming in. And it's not just I hate
- 22:35Speaker 2: him on Twitter, I want to kill I'm like, we're
- 22:37Speaker 2: talking about actual threats. We're talking about a significant number
- 22:40Speaker 2: of active threats. You got to take that into consideration.
- 22:45Speaker 2: You would assume if you're doing your job the right way. Look,
- 22:49Speaker 2: that's exactly right, real and serious threats. We apparently didn't
- 22:53Speaker 2: have drone surveillance. We didn't have helicopters. We didn't have
- 22:56Speaker 2: ariel because you would spot a guy.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Getting out road on a white roof putting up a ladder, apparently.
- 23:01Speaker 3: If you had any aerial surveillance. So I'm assuming they
- 23:04Speaker 3: did not play the rest of Dan Boungeina And look,
- 23:06Speaker 3: this is a long interview, but his expertise is unusual,
- 23:10Speaker 3: and so I want to play the rest of what
- 23:13Speaker 3: he had to say.
- 23:15Speaker 9: Dan, I mean, you bring up so many amazing points,
- 23:19Speaker 9: and I just don't even know where to begin, except
- 23:21Speaker 9: to ask you, why with the Secret Service not beef
- 23:24Speaker 9: up more security for the man who is most likely
- 23:27Speaker 9: to be assassinated in the entire world. Why would they
- 23:29Speaker 9: not deploy more resources. Why weren't there drones over? Is
- 23:32Speaker 9: it that this woman Kimberly Cheedle the director is incompetent?
- 23:37Speaker 9: Could there be something else there? What is happening? Is
- 23:40Speaker 9: it DEI? What's going on?
- 23:44Speaker 8: Well, you know, Rachel, it's my job if I'm going
- 23:46Speaker 8: to give an opinion, to back it up.
- 23:48Speaker 5: You know.
- 23:48Speaker 8: Opinions are like holes, right, everybody has one. The difference
- 23:52Speaker 8: between one opinion over the other in a courtroom and
- 23:54Speaker 8: anywhere else.
- 23:54Speaker 6: Can you back it up? I want everyone at home.
- 23:57Speaker 8: Going down your phone or computer now, and I want
- 23:59Speaker 8: you to look up US Secret Service red ties Donald
- 24:02Speaker 8: Trump read it. The Secret Service was more concerned about
- 24:06Speaker 8: protective agents around Donald Trump. If you think I'm making
- 24:10Speaker 8: this up, go to your f go to a left
- 24:12Speaker 8: wing search engine. If you think I'm biased, to go
- 24:14Speaker 8: to Scrugle and put it.
- 24:15Speaker 6: Oh, you're reading a story right now. They were more
- 24:18Speaker 6: concerned about the color.
- 24:19Speaker 8: Of the Secret Service agent's ties around Donald Trump, given
- 24:23Speaker 8: the perception that a red tie with some I've got
- 24:25Speaker 8: red ties, I'm a Republican, has nothing to do with it.
- 24:28Speaker 8: I just like red ties. They go nice with white shirts.
- 24:31Speaker 8: That's an actual saw.
- 24:33Speaker 6: You see. You see it right now.
- 24:34Speaker 8: I'm not crazy. This is what the Secret Service was
- 24:36Speaker 8: concerned about. They put out, you know, a thousand tweets
- 24:40Speaker 8: about all of this DEI stuff.
- 24:42Speaker 6: Do I know that's related here? I don't.
- 24:44Speaker 8: I'm just saying that you have one job, and only
- 24:48Speaker 8: one job. Your job is keep the body alive, no
- 24:52Speaker 8: matter what Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Jill Biden, the president
- 24:56Speaker 8: of Djibouti, it doesn't matter.
- 24:58Speaker 6: That is your job.
- 25:00Speaker 8: They absolutely, resolutely, one hundred percent failed. Not a single
- 25:06Speaker 8: excuse should be made, not a single excuse should be attempted.
- 25:10Speaker 8: This should be the subject of congressional hearings and investigations
- 25:14Speaker 8: because if they can't do this, and this is the
- 25:16Speaker 8: best technology you had, then folks, there's no purpose anymore.
- 25:21Speaker 8: This isn't the agency I grew up in. It's not
- 25:24Speaker 8: I spent twelve years of my life there, and I'm
- 25:26Speaker 8: telling you some of that. I know some of those
- 25:28Speaker 8: guys personally. These are good men and women. But this
- 25:32Speaker 8: was an apocalyptic security failure, and don't ever forget an.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Uneventful failure is never a success.
- 25:39Speaker 8: And the fact that Donald Trump didn't die yesterday is
- 25:42Speaker 8: no reason for anybody to take some kind of victory lap.
- 25:45Speaker 8: And before we start sending out plaudits, we better look
- 25:47Speaker 8: and do a hotwash on this and find out exactly
- 25:50Speaker 8: how abysmal this security plan was.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You listen to Dan there, and there's so many things
- 25:57Speaker 2: that he brings up that I think Americans deserve to
- 26:00Speaker 2: get an answer to. And I want to bring up
- 26:03Speaker 2: the DEI part of this, and I want to do
- 26:05Speaker 2: that in a second, But first, let me tell you
- 26:07Speaker 2: about our friends at Barnes Bond Arms. Let me tell
- 26:10Speaker 2: you I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for
- 26:12Speaker 2: carrying a gun. It saved my life. I had to
- 26:14Speaker 2: protect and defend myself against two active shooters against me.
- 26:18Speaker 2: And I can tell you when I watch things happen
- 26:21Speaker 2: in the country right now, I am very thankful for
- 26:24Speaker 2: my Second Amendment rights. I am thankful that I can
- 26:26Speaker 2: protect and defend myself and my family and my friends
- 26:29Speaker 2: when they're with me. That's why I want you to
- 26:32Speaker 2: know about bond Arms, Bond Arms and my dear friend
- 26:35Speaker 2: Gordon Bond. He has got a thirty year old Texas
- 26:38Speaker 2: based company and they make the smallest, most powerful.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Best built personal protection that you can carry.
- 26:45Speaker 2: If you are like me and you want to know
- 26:47Speaker 2: you can protect your family, you want to be able
- 26:49Speaker 2: to protect yourself, then you need to go online and
- 26:52Speaker 2: check out get Bondarms dot com. They're built like a
- 26:55Speaker 2: tank and have been seen in TV series like Yellowstone
- 26:58Speaker 2: and Longmire, Castle in John, to name a few. So
- 27:02Speaker 2: just go to get bondarms dot com and check out
- 27:05Speaker 2: a great company that helps you protect yourself and your family.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Again the website Get Bondarms dot com. Senator, let's talk
- 27:13Speaker 2: about the the DEI, the PCness, the bureaucracy aspect of
- 27:20Speaker 2: Joe Biden's administration. The Secret Service Director a few months
- 27:24Speaker 2: ago went on a PR campaign. They were seeking out
- 27:31Speaker 2: press and they went on CBS is one of the
- 27:36Speaker 2: things that they did, and they deliberately spoke about focusing
- 27:40Speaker 2: on hiring more women to be more diverse.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It was all about diversity.
- 27:44Speaker 2: They have a classic plan that right the leftloves thirty
- 27:48Speaker 2: percent female recruits by twenty thirty. This is what it
- 27:52Speaker 2: sounded like a few months ago they were asking for this.
- 27:55Speaker 10: Press to expand hiring. They're aiming to have thirty percent
- 27:58Speaker 10: women recruits by twenty thirty and even allowed YouTube influencer
- 28:03Speaker 10: Michelle Carey to train with agents.
- 28:06Speaker 11: But I'm very conscious as I sit in this chair
- 28:10Speaker 11: now of making sure that we need to attract diverse
- 28:14Speaker 11: candidates and ensure that we are developing and giving opportunities
- 28:17Speaker 11: to everybody in our workforce, and particularly women.
- 28:21Speaker 10: That workforce will be pivotal for the twenty twenty four
- 28:24Speaker 10: campaign season, which for the first time includes a former
- 28:28Speaker 10: president who already has lifetime protection. Agents were there when
- 28:32Speaker 10: Donald Trump was arraigned in New York.
- 28:35Speaker 11: We were able to work out the details ahead of
- 28:36Speaker 11: time of how that particular day was going to go.
- 28:40Speaker 11: But we will always ensure the safety of all of
- 28:43Speaker 11: our protectees that we have.
- 28:44Speaker 10: The Service has a zero fail mission, a mission officers
- 28:48Speaker 10: are training to uphold, pretending this field is the most
- 28:51Speaker 10: famous address in America.
- 28:54Speaker 1: To be clear, I don't care.
- 28:58Speaker 2: If a woman is is the person protecting the president,
- 29:02Speaker 2: as long as she's the best person to protect the president.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I don't care if you're a man or a woman
- 29:09Speaker 2: I want the best. But when you listen to that
- 29:13Speaker 2: and you look at the Secret Service and what they
- 29:15Speaker 2: were beating their chest about, you know, for the last
- 29:17Speaker 2: several months about you know, diversity and hiring, you got
- 29:21Speaker 2: to ask yourself, do we have the best or are
- 29:24Speaker 2: we filling quotas? And if there's any place I don't
- 29:27Speaker 2: want a quota to be filled, it would be protecting
- 29:30Speaker 2: the President of the United States America, whether that's Joe
- 29:32Speaker 2: Biden or Donald Trump. And it shouldn't be a study
- 29:37Speaker 2: in society like some sort of university. Hey, all right,
- 29:40Speaker 2: we're gonna grab seventeen be whether it or this color,
- 29:43Speaker 2: and fifteen they're this color, and twenty three that identify
- 29:45Speaker 2: as a sex.
- 29:47Speaker 1: That's not what the Secret Service should be am I wrong?
- 29:49Speaker 3: Well, this is yet another manifestation of what we've seen
- 29:52Speaker 3: throughout the Biden administration, which is an obsessive focus on
- 29:56Speaker 3: being counting on quotas on DEI at the expense of
- 30:00Speaker 3: the mission. Look, we've covered in this podcast before the
- 30:03Speaker 3: CIA doing this and instead of focusing on, for example,
- 30:08Speaker 3: getting intelligence on hamas to prevent October seventh, they're they're
- 30:11Speaker 3: focused on on on pushing the language police on on
- 30:15Speaker 3: ferreting out what what they deem insufficiently inclusive language. You
- 30:20Speaker 3: just heard Dan Bongino talking about the damn red ties
- 30:23Speaker 3: that they're worried about.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Uh oh uh oh.
- 30:25Speaker 3: If you wear a red tie, it looks like you
- 30:27Speaker 3: may support Donald Trump. So no red ties. And and
- 30:30Speaker 3: it's it's losing the mission. And the mission should be
- 30:36Speaker 3: front and center focused on protecting the protect tee. And
- 30:41Speaker 3: and when you fail, and to be clear, this weekend
- 30:45Speaker 3: was not just a mild failure. It was a catastrophic failure.
- 30:50Speaker 3: The consequences far too often are catastrophic and and and
- 30:55Speaker 3: and listen, one person lost his life, Corey Comparatory, the
- 31:02Speaker 3: fire chief. And I want to read read the Facebook
- 31:07Speaker 3: post from his daughter that his daughter put up, because
- 31:11Speaker 3: this is really powerful. So here's what she put up.
- 31:15Speaker 3: This is from Aliston Alison Comparatory. Yesterday time stopped, and
- 31:21Speaker 3: when it started again, my family and I started living
- 31:25Speaker 3: a real life nightmare. What was supposed to be an
- 31:28Speaker 3: exciting day that we had all looked forward to, especially
- 31:32Speaker 3: my dad, turned into the most traumatizing experiences someone could imagine.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I know the media will cover this event, and I'm
- 31:41Speaker 3: going to try my best to stay away from looking
- 31:44Speaker 3: at everything, especially because I've already seen and lived through
- 31:47Speaker 3: it in real time. But I want everyone to know
- 31:51Speaker 3: what the media will not cover and will not say
- 31:54Speaker 3: about him. He was the best dad a girl could
- 31:58Speaker 3: ever ask for. My sister and I never needed for anything.
- 32:03Speaker 3: You call, he would answer and he would do whatever
- 32:07Speaker 3: it is you needed, and if he didn't know how,
- 32:09Speaker 3: he would figure out how he could talk and make
- 32:13Speaker 3: friends with anyone, which he was doing all day yesterday
- 32:18Speaker 3: and loved every minute of it. He was a man
- 32:21Speaker 3: of God, loved Jesus fiercely, and also looked after our
- 32:27Speaker 3: church and our members' family. The media will not tell
- 32:32Speaker 3: you that he died a real life superhero. They're not
- 32:37Speaker 3: going to tell you how quickly he threw my mom
- 32:40Speaker 3: and I to the ground. They're not going to tell
- 32:43Speaker 3: you that he shielded my body from the bullet that
- 32:46Speaker 3: came at us. He loved his family, He truly loved
- 32:51Speaker 3: us enough to take a real bullet for us, And
- 32:56Speaker 3: I want nothing more than to cry on him and
- 32:59Speaker 3: tell and thank you. I want nothing more than to
- 33:02Speaker 3: wake up and for this not to be reality for
- 33:05Speaker 3: me and my family. We lost a selfless, loving husband, father, brother.
- 33:17Speaker 2: You hear that, and I read that on my show
- 33:20Speaker 2: earlier and I barely could get through it because I
- 33:22Speaker 2: can't imagine knowing that's what your dad did at the
- 33:25Speaker 2: end of his life, which was to keep you safe.
- 33:27Speaker 3: It's real and it is Look. Look, the Bible tells
- 33:31Speaker 3: us greater love has no man than he lays down
- 33:33Speaker 3: his life for another. And Corey Comparatory literally gave his
- 33:38Speaker 3: life to save his wife and daughter. Now, if the
- 33:43Speaker 3: Secret Service leadership had done their damn job, Chief Comparatory
- 33:49Speaker 3: would be home with his family instead.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it has consequences when you when you, when the
- 33:55Speaker 2: actions have consequences, bad decisions have even bigger consequences. And
- 34:00Speaker 2: I go back to something that was said today. I
- 34:02Speaker 2: try to surround myself when there's things like this that
- 34:04Speaker 2: happen with people that know it better than I do.
- 34:06Speaker 2: That's why I had lunch today with a special operator
- 34:10Speaker 2: and I had a million questions. There was one comment though,
- 34:14Speaker 2: that was made that stuck with me when I left,
- 34:18Speaker 2: and that was it is astounding that we are sending
- 34:23Speaker 2: blank checks to Ukraine for drones to be used to
- 34:28Speaker 2: find Russian soldiers. But we didn't have drones being used
- 34:32Speaker 2: apparently in a major way to protect Donald Trump.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Listen, I don't know this for a fact, but I
- 34:39Speaker 3: have a very strong suspicion that politics played a real
- 34:42Speaker 3: role in this well, and that was my next question.
- 34:44Speaker 3: And the reason I say that is because politics plays
- 34:47Speaker 3: a role in everything this damn administration does. And by
- 34:51Speaker 3: the way, this is the same administration, this is the
- 34:53Speaker 3: same Joe Biden, this is the same Alejandro Majorcus that
- 34:57Speaker 3: still won't give a secret service detail to Robert F.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Kennedy Junior, which you called for six I don't even
- 35:03Speaker 2: know how many months ago, seven eight months ago.
- 35:04Speaker 3: On this podcast. Rfk Junior's father was murdered by an assassin.
- 35:10Speaker 3: His uncle, the sitting president, was murdered by an assassin.
- 35:15Speaker 3: And yet this administration, Joe Biden doesn't want anyone to
- 35:18Speaker 3: know that Bobby Kennedy's on the ballot and if he
- 35:20Speaker 3: gave him secret service, well that could legitimize him. So no,
- 35:23Speaker 3: no secret service for you. And so my very strong
- 35:27Speaker 3: suspicion is there's a reason they just treat Trump as
- 35:32Speaker 3: a former president and not as the leading candidate for
- 35:36Speaker 3: president right now today, because it is political, and so
- 35:41Speaker 3: the decisions look One of the things that we've seen
- 35:44Speaker 3: multiple reports of is that there have been repeated requests
- 35:47Speaker 3: for additional security coverage for Trump. And given the magnitude
- 35:51Speaker 3: of the threats, I believe that that's why we need
- 35:54Speaker 3: to have a hearing and the Senate Judiciary Committee. We
- 35:56Speaker 3: need to have it very rapidly, and we need to
- 36:00Speaker 3: know how many threats were there, how many requests for
- 36:02Speaker 3: extra coverage were there, how many of them were denied,
- 36:05Speaker 3: Who denied them, who made the decision, who made the
- 36:07Speaker 3: decision to move agents from the Trump rally to the
- 36:11Speaker 3: first Lady? Was that a political appointee, What were the
- 36:15Speaker 3: factors in that decision?
- 36:16Speaker 2: And what were the teams? Was it a drone team,
- 36:18Speaker 2: was it another sniper team? Was it just bodies?
- 36:21Speaker 3: And are you telling me in the United States government
- 36:23Speaker 3: they don't have any more drones. You're telling me there
- 36:25Speaker 3: are no helicopters in the United States government. You're telling
- 36:28Speaker 3: me that you don't have additional counter snipers. There were
- 36:32Speaker 3: not that many rooftops surrounding that. Why did they not
- 36:36Speaker 3: have adequate personnel? Now that again, I want to underscore this,
- 36:40Speaker 3: that's not the fault of the Secret Service agents who
- 36:44Speaker 3: were risking their lives to protect the president. Amen, that
- 36:47Speaker 3: is the fault of leadership, That is the fault of
- 36:50Speaker 3: the bureaucrats making the decision. And I think we should
- 36:54Speaker 3: get we should have a real urgency to get to
- 36:57Speaker 3: the bottom of did partisan politics play a role in
- 37:01Speaker 3: saying no, we're not going to protect you. And I
- 37:06Speaker 3: think Congress needs to get to the bottle of it.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I think the American people deserve to know the answer.
- 37:10Speaker 2: To that to back up what you're saying. And I
- 37:12Speaker 2: think facts matter now. Democrats actively called members of Congress
- 37:19Speaker 2: so that no one thinks he is a conspiracy theory
- 37:23Speaker 2: for Donald Trump to lose Secret Service protection if he
- 37:28Speaker 2: was convicted of a felony. One of those was my
- 37:31Speaker 2: former Congressman, Steve Cohen. He and several other people in
- 37:36Speaker 2: Congress said that they should pull Secret Service protection of
- 37:40Speaker 2: Donald Trump, which goes back to what you said about
- 37:42Speaker 2: it being political. They didn't care if Donald Trump got killed.
- 37:46Speaker 2: In fact, they advocated for taking away the safety that
- 37:49Speaker 2: protects a president from being killed.
- 37:51Speaker 1: And those are members of Congress. And it's amazing to
- 37:55Speaker 1: me that.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Virtually no, not virtually literally no one in the media
- 37:59Speaker 2: has brought that point up that just months ago, we
- 38:02Speaker 2: had active Democrats in Congress, not fringe people. Okay, these
- 38:08Speaker 2: are elected officials who were demanding that Donald Trump, who's
- 38:11Speaker 2: a Secret Service protection if he was convicted of these
- 38:15Speaker 2: I'm sorry hoaks, you know, crimes against him, they tried
- 38:17Speaker 2: to go after him for to imprison him.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Well, and this was legislation that was filed by Congressman
- 38:24Speaker 3: Benny Thompson, who is the top Democrat on the Homeland
- 38:28Speaker 3: Security Committee.
- 38:28Speaker 2: So he's actually can you just say that again, so
- 38:30Speaker 2: if you understand how important that job is, and then
- 38:32Speaker 2: to understand that Homeland Security how much they have to
- 38:34Speaker 2: do with the Secret Service.
- 38:35Speaker 3: So they are the committee of jurisdiction. They have authority
- 38:40Speaker 3: over the Department of Homeland Security. And Benny Thompson is
- 38:44Speaker 3: the senior Democrat, he's called the ranking member, and he
- 38:47Speaker 3: filed the legislation. He is the author of the legislation
- 38:52Speaker 3: to say, let's pull the Secret Service coverage from Donald
- 38:55Speaker 3: Trump entirely if he's convicted. And by the way, it's
- 38:58Speaker 3: a complete partisan conviction that is designed to subvert democracy.
- 39:04Speaker 3: But let's be clear, if you were to put any
- 39:08Speaker 3: former president into general population in a prison they would die, yes,
- 39:15Speaker 3: And so he's literally effectively calling for a death sentence.
- 39:18Speaker 3: And by the way, Betty Thompson also had a staffer
- 39:23Speaker 3: who in the wake of this posted on x saying
- 39:28Speaker 3: that she wishes the shooter had taken shooting lessons and
- 39:31Speaker 3: that he wouldn't miss next time. Now, Benny Thompson fired
- 39:34Speaker 3: that staffer. He put out a statement, I was made
- 39:37Speaker 3: aware of a post made by a staff member and
- 39:40Speaker 3: she is no longer in my employment. But you know
- 39:42Speaker 3: what staff reflects the member, and it reflects the culture
- 39:47Speaker 3: that her first reaction is to be angry that this
- 39:51Speaker 3: would be assassin did not in fact kill Donald Trump.
- 39:55Speaker 3: That's what she wanted and from his legislation, and it
- 39:59Speaker 3: was joined by multiple other Democrats, that legislation, if it
- 40:03Speaker 3: actually had become law, and if Trump had gone to prison,
- 40:06Speaker 3: would have led directly to the death of Donald Trump.
- 40:09Speaker 3: And now they're suddenly saying, oh, well, we're very dismayed
- 40:13Speaker 3: that there was any violence towards it.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Let's talk about the rewriting of history and move also
- 40:18Speaker 2: to the press conference Monday night that Joe Biden had.
- 40:21Speaker 2: He opened it went a press conference more of a
- 40:24Speaker 2: statement from the over office, I should say because there
- 40:27Speaker 2: was no questions and what he said his address to
- 40:30Speaker 2: the nation when he opened was certainly rewriting of history.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Here he is, in his own words, I want to.
- 40:38Speaker 7: Speak you tonight about the need for us to lower
- 40:41Speaker 7: the temperature in our politics and to remember, or we
- 40:44Speaker 7: may disagree, we are not enemies. We're neighbors. We're friends, coworkers, citizens,
- 40:51Speaker 7: and most importantly, we are fellow Americans.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Sounds great.
- 40:56Speaker 2: The problem is if you go and read the president's
- 40:59Speaker 2: own words in the days leading up to this moment,
- 41:04Speaker 2: that is not what he was saying at all. He
- 41:06Speaker 2: didn't say, hey, I need to tone it down as well.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Joe Biden's own tweet was quote, Donald Trump is the
- 41:12Speaker 2: greatest threat to our democracy. He tweeted out again, donald
- 41:17Speaker 2: Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. Another tweet,
- 41:23Speaker 2: he meaning Trump is a threat to our freedom, he
- 41:28Speaker 2: is a threat to our democracy. He's literally this is
- 41:33Speaker 2: Joe Biden's words on Twitter on x He's literally referring
- 41:37Speaker 2: to Trump a threat to everything America stands for. He
- 41:43Speaker 2: also said Donald Trump is a threat to our democracy
- 41:45Speaker 2: and we cannot let him win. I'm in Madison, Wisconsin
- 41:50Speaker 2: talking to the folks about what's its take in this election.
- 41:53Speaker 1: We cannot let him win.
- 41:55Speaker 2: He also tweeted out Trump poses many threats to our country,
- 42:00Speaker 2: the right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and Americans
- 42:03Speaker 2: and America city in the world. But the greatest threat
- 42:06Speaker 2: he poses is to our democracy. If we lose that,
- 42:09Speaker 2: we lose everything. If I read those and I'm a
- 42:15Speaker 2: crazy twenty year old lunatic, and you tell me, as
- 42:19Speaker 2: the president United State's America that Donald Trump and I'm
- 42:22Speaker 2: quoting again, is a threat to our democracy. Quote, He's
- 42:25Speaker 2: literally a threat to everything America stands for. Well, then
- 42:28Speaker 2: it's not crazy to think that that person would say, well,
- 42:31Speaker 2: then we have to stop him at all means, because
- 42:32Speaker 2: we've already tried to impeach him.
- 42:34Speaker 1: That didn't work. We tried to bankrupt him, that didn't work.
- 42:37Speaker 1: We tried to lock him up, that didn't work. What's left.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Well, and you're right, and there's some irony with Joe
- 42:45Speaker 3: Biden suggesting, you know, we need to tamp down the rhetorical.
- 42:48Speaker 3: I'd like to see the rhetoric tamp down, but then
- 42:51Speaker 3: taking no responsibility. Listen, it is Democrats for a decade
- 42:56Speaker 3: who have been calling Donald Trump eight off Hitler.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and the media too, and the media too.
- 43:03Speaker 3: And well, I said democrats, and they're one in this
- 43:06Speaker 3: in the corporate media is the left wing of the
- 43:09Speaker 3: Democrat Party. That is their role, and they call them
- 43:12Speaker 3: that over and over and over again. Here play the montage.
- 43:18Speaker 3: This is Democrats repeatedly calling for political violence.
- 43:22Speaker 4: It starts with Nancy Pelosi. Give a listen.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Before I play that, I want to tell you by

- 44:32Speaker 2: senator in her own words and many in the media
- 44:35Speaker 2: and other elect officials explicitly calling for political violence against conservatives.
- 44:41Speaker 9: I just don't even know why there aren't uprisings all
- 44:44Speaker 9: of the country, and maybe there will be.
- 44:46Speaker 6: People need to start taking to the streets.
- 44:48Speaker 5: This is a dictator. You know.
- 44:50Speaker 12: There needs to be unrest in the streets for as
- 44:52Speaker 12: long as there's unrest in our lives.
- 44:54Speaker 8: Enemies of the state, show me where it says that
- 44:57Speaker 8: protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Do something about your dad's immigration practices.
- 45:03Speaker 10: Effectless comment they.
- 45:05Speaker 8: How do you resist the temptation to run up and
- 45:07Speaker 8: bring her neck. The biggest terror threat in this country
- 45:11Speaker 8: is white men, most of them radicalized up to the right.
- 45:15Speaker 10: I thought he should have punched him in the face.
- 45:17Speaker 7: They say, even if you lost, if he insulted to
- 45:18Speaker 7: white He's on the escalator and called Mexican's rapist emerged.
- 45:21Speaker 5: He said, well, what do you think I should have done?
- 45:22Speaker 8: So think you should have.
- 45:23Speaker 10: Punsed him in the face and then gotten out of
- 45:24Speaker 10: the race.
- 45:25Speaker 6: He would have been a hero. I'd like to punch
- 45:27Speaker 6: him in the face.
- 45:28Speaker 7: I said, if we're in high school, I take you
- 45:29Speaker 7: behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.
- 45:31Speaker 6: Punch some people in the face.
- 45:34Speaker 4: When was the last time an actor assassinated in a president?
- 45:37Speaker 5: They're still going to have to go out and put
- 45:39Speaker 5: a bullet in Donald Trump.
- 45:40Speaker 6: And that's a fact.
- 45:44Speaker 10: Look is, his character is stabbed to death.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?
- 45:50Speaker 8: In this way?
- 45:53Speaker 5: I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the
- 45:57Speaker 5: White House of Missouri.
- 45:59Speaker 8: States senator is under investigation by the Secret Service after
- 46:03Speaker 8: saying she hopes President Trump is assassinated.
- 46:06Speaker 6: I will go and take Trump out to night.
- 46:09Speaker 13: And if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant,
- 46:14Speaker 13: in a department store, at a castle stay, you get
- 46:18Speaker 13: out and you played a rude and you just based
- 46:22Speaker 13: on them, and you tell them that nothing welcome anymore anywhere.
- 46:28Speaker 9: And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and
- 46:32Speaker 9: are honoring our constitution all right at sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue.
- 46:38Speaker 12: They're not going to stop before election day in November,
- 46:40Speaker 12: and they're not going to stop after election day. And
- 46:43Speaker 12: that should be everyone should take note of that on
- 46:45Speaker 12: both levels, that this is they're not going to let up,
- 46:48Speaker 12: and they should not.
- 46:49Speaker 13: If you take me a rally, not you ain't say
- 46:52Speaker 13: nothing yet.
- 46:58Speaker 2: That's what Donald Trump dealt with while he was president
- 47:03Speaker 2: and after being the president.
- 47:06Speaker 3: Look, the radical left, Donald Trump melted their minds. They
- 47:12Speaker 3: hate him and they have spewed invective and hate for years.
- 47:18Speaker 3: And listen, there's an invective on both sides. I would
- 47:24Speaker 3: like to see the political temperature taken down, but the
- 47:30Speaker 3: Democrats intend to go right back to this. This is
- 47:32Speaker 3: a brief little pause for about twelve seconds, and by
- 47:40Speaker 3: I don't know next week or the week after, they're
- 47:42Speaker 3: going to go back to Callingham Hitler because the rage
- 47:48Speaker 3: and fury. Look the number of leftists on Twitter who
- 47:51Speaker 3: were lamenting that they were sad.
- 47:54Speaker 1: That she wasn't good at it.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Yeah, they're basically saying this if any and there were
- 47:58Speaker 2: people were literally tweeting out there like, hey this guy,
- 48:00Speaker 2: next time, take lessons. Next time, actually do a good job.
- 48:04Speaker 3: And let me be clear, as you and I talked about,
- 48:06Speaker 3: we did a podcast immediately in the moments after this
- 48:11Speaker 3: assassination attempts. I pray for Joe Biden. I don't wish
- 48:16Speaker 3: political violence on Democrats or anyone else.
- 48:19Speaker 6: Now.
- 48:20Speaker 3: I want Joe Biden defeated at the ballot box. That
- 48:23Speaker 3: I believe his policies are harmful. But there's a difference
- 48:27Speaker 3: between saying his policies are harmful and saying he's Hitler,
- 48:31Speaker 3: saying he's Mussolini, which is what saying he's the devil,
- 48:36Speaker 3: which is what the Democrats have been doing literally for
- 48:40Speaker 3: a decade, and it's what the media has been doing
- 48:41Speaker 3: to I.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Said today, how many cities have Republicans tried to destroy
- 48:46Speaker 2: after their kin it was almostssassinated. Just so we're clear, zero,
- 48:50Speaker 2: what did Republicans say today they said pray, go to church, yes,
- 48:55Speaker 2: and pray for the family of those who lost loved ones.
- 48:58Speaker 2: There's been no violence. I never want to hear again
- 49:01Speaker 2: from the left. Oh, it's the Republicans of the extremists here.
- 49:04Speaker 2: There has been nothing but love and compassion. There's anger, and.
- 49:09Speaker 3: We also need to fix the damn problem. We need
- 49:13Speaker 3: to make sure that there is is adequate protection for
- 49:19Speaker 3: Donald Trump and and for others targeted by violence, because
- 49:23Speaker 3: this was a catastrophic failure and we got to make
- 49:28Speaker 3: sure it doesn't happen again.
- 49:29Speaker 2: We're going to keep you updated on this, I can
- 49:31Speaker 2: promise you, especially as Congress looks on this, as you've
- 49:35Speaker 2: called for these emergency meetings. We are also going to
- 49:38Speaker 2: be at the Republican Convention this week with several shows.
- 49:43Speaker 2: We will be on more than normal from the convention.
- 49:46Speaker 2: It's going to be a very big, important week, and
- 49:49Speaker 2: we pray for the safety of the President and everyone
- 49:51Speaker 2: in the attendance there, obviously, but we will be back
- 49:55Speaker 2: with you from Milwaukee at the Republican Convention as well.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Don't forget we share this show. We covered a lot
- 50:01Speaker 2: in the show that the media is not covering. Makes
- 50:03Speaker 2: you shared on social media. Wherever you are on social
- 50:07Speaker 2: media on those in between days, I'll keep you update
- 50:09Speaker 2: on the latest breaking news. Download my podcast as well,
- 50:12Speaker 2: the Ben Ferguson podcasts I'll keep you up to date,
- 50:15Speaker 2: and the Senator.
- 50:15Speaker 1: I will see you from Milwaukee later this week.
