- 0:02Speaker 1: Well, let's start with some really big news. Number one,
- 0:06Speaker 1: we are getting much closer to a trade deal agreement
- 0:11Speaker 1: with China, something that the media, in fact, I was
- 0:14Speaker 1: on CNN this past week said wasn't going to happen,
- 0:17Speaker 1: probably till later this year or next year. They wanted
- 0:21Speaker 1: to be doom and gloom. There was ridiculous conversations and
- 0:25Speaker 1: arguments and debates about if your daughter was going to
- 0:29Speaker 1: have how many be able to have more than two
- 0:31Speaker 1: dollars from China.
- 0:33Speaker 2: This is where the media went.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Now, I'm going to get to this in a moment,
- 0:37Speaker 1: but there's something else that is happening right now that
- 0:40Speaker 1: all of you need to know about, and.
- 0:41Speaker 2: It's really big.
- 0:43Speaker 1: We are being told now that President Trump is going
- 0:46Speaker 1: to sign.
- 0:46Speaker 2: An order Monday.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Afternoon cutting prescription drug costs thirty to eighty percent effective immediately.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Donald Trump announcing this in a truth social post.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Here is what he said. Quote.
- 1:03Speaker 1: For many years, the world has wondered why prescription drugs
- 1:06Speaker 1: and pharmaceuticals in the United States of America were so
- 1:09Speaker 1: much higher in price than they were in any other nation,
- 1:13Speaker 1: sometimes being five to ten times more expensive than the
- 1:17Speaker 1: same drug manufactured in the exact same laboratory or plant
- 1:22Speaker 1: by the same company. It was always difficult to explain
- 1:26Speaker 1: and very embarrassing because in fact there was no correct
- 1:29Speaker 1: or rightful answer. The pharmaceutical drug companies would say for
- 1:33Speaker 1: years that it was research and development costs, and that
- 1:37Speaker 1: all of these costs were and would be for no
- 1:40Speaker 1: reason whatsoever, borne by the suckers, or i should say,
- 1:43Speaker 1: by the suckers of America alone. All capital letters, campaign
- 1:48Speaker 1: contributions can do wonders, but not with me, and not
- 1:52Speaker 1: with the Republican Party. We are going to do the
- 1:55Speaker 1: right thing, something that the Democrats have fought for, fought
- 2:00Speaker 1: for many years. Therefore, I'm pleased to announce that tomorrow
- 2:05Speaker 1: morning in the White House, I will sign one of
- 2:08Speaker 1: the most consequential executive orders in our country's history. Prescription
- 2:13Speaker 1: drug and pharmaceutical prices will be reduced almost immediately by
- 2:17Speaker 1: thirty to eighty percent.
- 2:19Speaker 2: They will arise throughout the world.
- 2:21Speaker 1: In order to equalize and for the first time in
- 2:24Speaker 1: many years, bring fairness to America. I will be instituting
- 2:29Speaker 1: a most Favored Nation policy, whereby the United States will
- 2:33Speaker 1: pay the same price as the nation that pays the lowest.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Price anywhere in the world.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Our country will finally be treated fairly, and our citizens'
- 2:44Speaker 1: healthcare costs will be reduced by numbers never even thought
- 2:47Speaker 1: of before. Additionally, on top of everything else, the United
- 2:52Speaker 1: States will save trillions of dollars.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Thank you for your attention to this matter.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Make America great again again, the President of United States
- 3:01Speaker 1: of America announcing this.
- 3:03Speaker 2: This is going to have.
- 3:04Speaker 1: A unbelievable impact on so many Americans that can't afford
- 3:12Speaker 1: the prescription drugs. Many of them go across the border
- 3:16Speaker 1: to get them. We have seen Americans have had to
- 3:18Speaker 1: fly literally around the world to go get drugs as
- 3:23Speaker 1: cheap as they possibly can, and other nations. I know
- 3:26Speaker 1: people personally that have gone to Canada, and I know
- 3:29Speaker 1: people that have gone to Mexico and to Europe to
- 3:32Speaker 1: pick up life saving prescription drugs because they had no
- 3:36Speaker 1: other choice because they couldn't afford them or they weren't
- 3:39Speaker 1: covered by their insurance in the United States. And this
- 3:43Speaker 1: is part of what he's talking about here, is that
- 3:45Speaker 1: it's time for us to stop being the suckers. I
- 3:48Speaker 1: also love the point that was made there when he
- 3:51Speaker 1: says we're going to have most Favored nation status being
- 3:55Speaker 1: look wherever the lowest price in.
- 3:56Speaker 2: The world, that's what we're going to pay.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And we're not going to back down on from this
- 4:01Speaker 1: like this is this is exactly what we are going
- 4:03Speaker 1: to do.
- 4:05Speaker 2: We are going to do this. We're proud that we're
- 4:07Speaker 2: going to do this.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We're not going to stop doing this, and we are
- 4:10Speaker 1: going to have this most favored status. Now, America has
- 4:15Speaker 1: been a sucker for a long time. As he described it,
- 4:17Speaker 1: He's absolutely right. I could not agree with him more. Unfortunately,
- 4:24Speaker 1: when America and this is you go back to what
- 4:26Speaker 1: he was talking about. Look at the money that is
- 4:29Speaker 1: spent by the lobbyists and the pharmaceutical companies to influence terrible, okay,
- 4:36Speaker 1: absolutely terrible deals, I mean horrendous deals for the American
- 4:43Speaker 1: public that other people get incredible deals.
- 4:46Speaker 2: It's absolutely absurd.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And so what you're hearing now, I think is a
- 4:52Speaker 1: really an incredibly important point, and that is that you
- 4:59Speaker 1: have a saying I really don't care, like I just don't.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I do not care about the pharmaceutical companies. I do
- 5:09Speaker 1: not care about their money. I don't want their money.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm going around them, I'm going to fight them. I'm
- 5:17Speaker 1: going to do everything I can to put Americans first
- 5:19Speaker 1: yet again. And We're not gonna be suckered anymore. We're
- 5:23Speaker 1: not gonna be taken advantage of anymore. That is what
- 5:26Speaker 1: we are not going to do. And it's absolutely beautiful
- 5:29Speaker 1: to see this. It is amazing to see this happen
- 5:34Speaker 1: and to take place in such a real way.
- 5:37Speaker 2: We have this news, and I want to move to the.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Second thing, which is also going to have a huge
- 5:42Speaker 1: impact on every American, and that is the White House
- 5:46Speaker 1: announcing a quote substantial progress is made and the US
- 5:51Speaker 1: China trade talks. The Treasury Secretary Scott Descent on Sunday
- 5:56Speaker 1: said the Trump administration has made substantial progress to the
- 5:59Speaker 1: trade negotiation between the US and China. Here is what
- 6:03Speaker 1: he had to say at the press conference in his
- 6:05Speaker 1: own words.
- 6:06Speaker 3: And I think that led to a great deal of
- 6:08Speaker 3: the productivity we've seen. We will be giving details tomorrow,
- 6:15Speaker 3: but I can tell you that the talks were productive.
- 6:19Speaker 3: We had the Vice Premier, to vice.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Ministers who were integrally involved, Ambassador Jamison and myself and
- 6:30Speaker 4: I spoke to President Trump, as did Ambassador Jamison last night,
- 6:35Speaker 4: and he is fully informed of what is going on.
- 6:38Speaker 4: So there will be a complete briefing tomorrow.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Morning, complete briefing on Monday.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Now, the US Trade Rep in Geneva, saying this about
- 6:49Speaker 1: the deal and how it was able to come together, say,
- 6:51Speaker 1: it really wasn't as far apart as many believed.
- 6:54Speaker 5: I want to echo the Secretary's re marks respect to
- 6:56Speaker 5: the Swiss government. They've been so welcoming and they've posted
- 7:00Speaker 5: and everything has gone off flawlessly, and we appreciate that.
- 7:04Speaker 5: And again to the Chinese negotiators. Vice Premier Leohoa, Vice
- 7:07Speaker 5: Minister Lee Chandong, and Vice Minister Le Al men work
- 7:11Speaker 5: very diligently, and these are very tough negotiators. A couple
- 7:14Speaker 5: of them I know from before and have had past
- 7:17Speaker 5: interactions with them. And this was, as the Secretary pointed out,
- 7:21Speaker 5: a very constructive two days. It's important to understand how
- 7:25Speaker 5: quickly we were able to come to agreement, which reflects
- 7:28Speaker 5: that perhaps the differences were not so large as maybe thought.
- 7:32Speaker 5: That being said, there was a lot of groundwork that
- 7:35Speaker 5: went into these two days. Just remember why we're here
- 7:38Speaker 5: in the first place. If the United States has a
- 7:40Speaker 5: massive one point two trillion dollars trade deficit, so the
- 7:43Speaker 5: President declared a national emergency and imposed tariffs, and we're
- 7:47Speaker 5: confident that the deal we struck with our Chinese partners
- 7:50Speaker 5: will help us to resolve work towards resolving that national emergency.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You will get both of these men, and you'll get
- 7:59Speaker 1: both of these stories. I cannot overstate how big of
- 8:04Speaker 1: a deal this Executive Order on drugs is going to
- 8:07Speaker 1: be for American families, especially our seniors. Healthcare costs were
- 8:11Speaker 1: the number one driver, by the way, in Biden inflation,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and President Trump is like, I'm tackling this head on
- 8:17Speaker 1: for our seniors. And then the fact that the President
- 8:20Speaker 1: also comes out is like, oh yeah, by the way,
- 8:22Speaker 1: we're also getting the deal done with China, which which
- 8:25Speaker 1: the Left was hoping would not happen.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Quote.
- 8:29Speaker 1: We're confident that the that the deal we struck with
- 8:31Speaker 1: our Chinese partners will help us to work towards resolving
- 8:36Speaker 1: the trade deficit. I'm happy to report that we made
- 8:39Speaker 1: substantial progress and we will be giving details tomorrow aka
- 8:44Speaker 1: Monday afternoon. This is just amazing because no one in
- 8:49Speaker 1: the press wants to report this or give credit. Everyone
- 8:53Speaker 1: in the press wants to act like this is a disaster.
- 8:58Speaker 1: They want to act like this Some terrible thing. They
- 9:01Speaker 1: want to act like that. This is like the worst
- 9:03Speaker 1: day ever in that the president was destroying the country.
- 9:07Speaker 2: None of that happened.
- 9:09Speaker 1: They wanted him to be a failure and they didn't
- 9:12Speaker 1: care if it hurt the American people. They wanted it
- 9:14Speaker 1: to be a failure. God bless America. This is incredible
- 9:21Speaker 1: and these are two of the biggest stories that happened
- 9:24Speaker 1: on the same day. After more than a year of war,
- 9:29Speaker 1: tear and pain in Israel, the need for security essentials
- 9:33Speaker 1: and support for first responders is still critical. Israel must
- 9:38Speaker 1: be prepared for the next attack, wherever it may come from.
- 9:41Speaker 1: As Israel is surrounded by enemies on all sides and well,
- 9:44Speaker 1: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has supported and
- 9:48Speaker 1: will continue to support the people of Israel with life
- 9:51Speaker 1: saving security essentials, and that is where your gift will
- 9:55Speaker 1: help save lives by providing bomb shelters, armored security vehicles,
- 10:00Speaker 1: armored ambulances, firefighting equipment, flat jackets and bulletproof vests and
- 10:05Speaker 1: so much more. That's where your generous donation today will
- 10:09Speaker 1: help ensure the people of Israel are safe and secure
- 10:12Speaker 1: in the days and weeks to come. And as the
- 10:15Speaker 1: threats of terror remain imminent. So give a gift to
- 10:18Speaker 1: bless Israel enter people by visiting SUPPORTIFCJ dot org. That's
- 10:24Speaker 1: one word, support IFCJ dot org. Or call eight at
- 10:29Speaker 1: eight four eight eight IFCJ. That's eight at eight four
- 10:33Speaker 1: eight eight, IFCJ eight at eight four eight eight four
- 10:38Speaker 1: three two five, or support IFCJ dot org. We also
- 10:43Speaker 1: have new news on what's happening with Russia and Ukraine,
- 10:48Speaker 1: and this is a little bit more complicated, and I
- 10:50Speaker 1: want to get you up to speed on it because
- 10:51Speaker 1: I think it's important. President Putin of Russia Donald Trump
- 10:54Speaker 1: put out in a true social post doesn't want to
- 10:58Speaker 1: have a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine, but brother wants to
- 11:02Speaker 1: meet on Thursday in Turkey to negotiate a possible end
- 11:06Speaker 1: to the bloodbath, and Ukraine should agree to this immediately.
- 11:10Speaker 1: At least they will be able to determine whether or
- 11:12Speaker 1: not a deal is possible, and if it is not,
- 11:18Speaker 1: European leaders in the US will know where everyone and
- 11:21Speaker 1: everything stands and can proceed accordingly. I'm sorry to doubt
- 11:25Speaker 1: that Ukraine will make a deal with Putin, who's too
- 11:28Speaker 1: busy celebrating the victory of World War Two, which could
- 11:32Speaker 1: not have been won, not even close, without the United
- 11:35Speaker 1: States of America have the meeting. Now, the President went
- 11:39Speaker 1: on to say, Now, this is an important point because
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think the fact that President's just calling it out publicly,
- 11:47Speaker 1: like he's just straight up calling this out, and he's saying,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you can't have it both ways. My worry has been,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and I've said this for a long time, is at
- 11:57Speaker 1: the level of corruption around the aid that the US
- 12:01Speaker 1: is giving to Ukraine is just unbelievable. We know for
- 12:06Speaker 1: a fact that Zelensky has said that fifty percent of
- 12:08Speaker 1: the funding that's gone to the UK they can't find.
- 12:12Speaker 1: He has had to fire people for corruption after they
- 12:14Speaker 1: were robusted by media, like an egregious corruption, like millions
- 12:18Speaker 1: and millions and millions of dollars. The other thing is,
- 12:22Speaker 1: if you know the history of Ukraine, Ukraine is even
- 12:25Speaker 1: more corrupt in many ways than Russia.
- 12:28Speaker 2: And that's saying something.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And Zolensky and all of his friends are still getting
- 12:34Speaker 1: rich off of this war. The other there's a third
- 12:37Speaker 1: part to this, and this is part of the conversation
- 12:40Speaker 1: that Donald Trump has had and again every time he
- 12:43Speaker 1: says this, the media is like, oh my gosh, he's
- 12:45Speaker 1: a Russian stude.
- 12:46Speaker 2: He's backing Vladimir Putin. No, he's not.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He's asking a real question. It's a question that we
- 12:50Speaker 1: should all be asking. Will Zolensky survive if there's a
- 12:54Speaker 1: cease fire that actually is real and this war ends.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Well, we don't know.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Number One, they haven't had elections since the war broke
- 13:03Speaker 1: out a couple of years ago, and there's a real
- 13:06Speaker 1: worry that Zelensky is prolonging this because he doesn't want
- 13:09Speaker 1: to give up the presidency and he knows that the
- 13:12Speaker 1: people in Ukraine will vote him out of office once
- 13:15Speaker 1: they have free and fair elections again.
- 13:17Speaker 2: So there is a real.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Question over the motives of Zelensky and all of his
- 13:21Speaker 1: friends who are getting rich that they'll lose their access
- 13:25Speaker 1: and the corruption will end if there is a free
- 13:28Speaker 1: and fair election there. There's no indication by the way
- 13:31Speaker 1: that Zelensky honestly would win.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I think it'd probably be a blowout. I think he
- 13:36Speaker 2: knows it.
- 13:37Speaker 1: So you keep the war going so that you can
- 13:39Speaker 1: suspend elections, which is exactly what they've done in the
- 13:42Speaker 1: name of war.
- 13:45Speaker 2: That's what they've said.
- 13:46Speaker 1: They've said in the name of war, we're suspending elections.
- 13:50Speaker 1: The number of people that are dying on both sides
- 13:52Speaker 1: of this is just horrific.
- 13:53Speaker 2: It is.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It is something that Donald Trump has also said, like
- 13:57Speaker 1: is completely avoidable, and it should be avoidable, and we
- 13:59Speaker 1: should be doing everything that we can to avoid it.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And I couldn't agree with Donald Trump more that this
- 14:08Speaker 1: needs to end. Now you go back to Putin saying
- 14:13Speaker 1: he wants to meet on Thursday in Turkey to negotiate
- 14:16Speaker 1: a possible into the blood bat. The fact that Trump
- 14:19Speaker 1: is even having the assolence give Ukraine to agree to
- 14:22Speaker 1: this immediately is also just kind of insane, Like this
- 14:27Speaker 1: is something they should all just be there for. Okay,
- 14:31Speaker 1: that's it, Like they should just be there for it.
- 14:33Speaker 1: This shouldn't be hard, It should be pretty easy. And
- 14:40Speaker 1: why would you not go if you're because you don't
- 14:42Speaker 1: have to agreet anything.
- 14:43Speaker 2: You just show up for the meeting.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You show up, and you see what the other side saying,
- 14:48Speaker 1: what they're offering, and you call their bluff. Like if
- 14:51Speaker 1: you're in a war with somebody and they want to meet,
- 14:53Speaker 1: you should probably meet. And the fact that the US
- 14:55Speaker 1: is willing to facilitate the meeting is a good sign
- 14:58Speaker 1: that like, hey, we should really be there for this,
- 15:00Speaker 1: Like this is a no brainer for us.
- 15:03Speaker 2: If Zelensky says no to this.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I do think there's a large part of this that
- 15:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump is getting right where he's saying, you got
- 15:11Speaker 1: to now worry about the motives of Zelensky.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Now, everything that I just said has nothing to do
- 15:16Speaker 2: with Putin. I want to be clear.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I think Putin's a scumbag, pos murderer.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I think he's a barbarian.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I think he's one of the worst people to walk
- 15:27Speaker 1: to face the earth, and.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I mean that sincerely.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, if Zelensky knows
- 15:33Speaker 1: that people are dying, he just wants to keep his power.
- 15:36Speaker 1: That's not a good look either, folks, Like that's really
- 15:39Speaker 1: not a good look. And both things can be real
- 15:43Speaker 1: at the same time. Both things can be true at
- 15:47Speaker 1: the same time, right Like you can say you stand
- 15:50Speaker 1: with the people of Ukraine while also questioning the leader
- 15:53Speaker 1: in Ukraine.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Both things can be true.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And I think that's part of what we need to understand,
- 16:02Speaker 1: is that you know, it's not about picking sides. It's look,
- 16:06Speaker 1: it's just about looking at the reality of the situation.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And if you look at the reality of the situation, okay,
- 16:14Speaker 1: then then hey, I mean you got to ask at
- 16:19Speaker 1: this point, does Zelenski and his goons around him really
- 16:23Speaker 1: want this to end or not? Like, do they honestly
- 16:26Speaker 1: want it to end? And that is a question that
- 16:32Speaker 1: that should be asked. And if you ask that question,
- 16:35Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that you're supporting Vladimir Putin. It doesn't
- 16:39Speaker 1: mean that you're supporting Russia. I think Russia the leadership
- 16:43Speaker 1: there are scumbags. I actually feel bad for the people
- 16:45Speaker 1: of Russia. They're being held hostage right now by and
- 16:49Speaker 1: and and so many of them been sent to die.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And and for me, that's really really really sad. Like
- 16:54Speaker 1: I it is tragic. It is absolutely lutely tragic. It's
- 17:02Speaker 1: also not surprising. It's tragic, but it's not surprising. And
- 17:07Speaker 1: we we we should hope that they all come together.
- 17:09Speaker 1: We should we should pray that they all come together.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We should be advocating that they all come together. That's
- 17:18Speaker 1: the whole ballgame here. For me, that's like, that's it,
- 17:21Speaker 1: that's all of it. That is the whole ballgame. Let
- 17:25Speaker 1: me get to another story real quick. That also is
- 17:28Speaker 1: really important Hamas has claimed it will release in Israeli
- 17:32Speaker 1: American hostage Eden Alexander.
- 17:36Speaker 2: This is significant.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Hamas issued a statement claiming that it will release Aiden Alexander,
- 17:43Speaker 1: who is believed to be the last known living American
- 17:46Speaker 1: being held hostage by the terrorist group, according to several
- 17:48Speaker 1: reports that have.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Just come out.
- 17:51Speaker 1: In his statements, in Your Hamas negotiator explained that Hamas
- 17:54Speaker 1: was affirming its readiness to immediately start intensive negotiations and
- 17:59Speaker 1: make serious effort to reach a final agreement to end
- 18:01Speaker 1: the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
- 18:03Speaker 2: This is coming from CNN. Quote.
- 18:06Speaker 1: The movement affirms its readiness to immediately start intentsive negotiations
- 18:10Speaker 1: and make serious efforts to reach a final agreement to
- 18:12Speaker 1: stop the war, exchange prisoners in an agreed manner, and
- 18:17Speaker 1: manage the Gaza strip by an independent professional body. Per
- 18:21Speaker 1: the outlet, Hamas announced Alexander would be released quote as
- 18:25Speaker 1: part of these steps towards a ceasefire that will see
- 18:29Speaker 1: the crossing into Gaza opened. Following the communication, TAMAS announced
- 18:35Speaker 1: it will release Alexander as part of the steps towards
- 18:37Speaker 1: the ceasefire, and we'll see the crossing into Gaza open
- 18:40Speaker 1: and humanitarian aid brought into Gaza following an Israeli blockade
- 18:44Speaker 1: that has lasted more than two months. And it's sad,
- 18:48Speaker 1: but this is what Israel had to do for the
- 18:50Speaker 1: terrorists to finally work towards a deal now. The statement
- 18:55Speaker 1: issued by Hamas on Sunday evening also comes as President
- 19:00Speaker 1: Trump is set to visit the Middle East the upcoming days.
- 19:03Speaker 1: According to the Associated Press, Alexander, who was born in
- 19:08Speaker 1: Tel Aviv, Israel, and raised in New Jersey, went on
- 19:12Speaker 1: to join the Israeli Defense Forces known as IDEF after
- 19:15Speaker 1: graduating high school. According to the local news reports, Yelle,
- 19:20Speaker 1: Alexander Eden's mom explained that at the time of Hamas's
- 19:25Speaker 1: October seventh, twenty twenty three attack on Israel, Eden had
- 19:28Speaker 1: been stationed on the Gaza border. On October seventh, Y'ao
- 19:32Speaker 1: was awakened around six point thirty am when she contacted
- 19:35Speaker 1: and she contacted Eden. After the two spoke on the phone.
- 19:40Speaker 1: That was the last she heard from her son. On Friday,
- 19:44Speaker 1: the eve of the Samat Torah holiday, they spoke on
- 19:50Speaker 1: a video chat. He was cute and handsome, playing with
- 19:54Speaker 1: his hair the whole time. He said that people had
- 19:56Speaker 1: brought them a holiday meal at the base, and then
- 19:59Speaker 1: he was going to because he had a guard shift
- 20:01Speaker 1: early in the morning. I joked and said, we'll come
- 20:05Speaker 1: with an armored vehicle tomorrow for Sabah. We'll bring you
- 20:10Speaker 1: to Lent, a slow simmering stew that Orthodox Jews eat
- 20:15Speaker 1: on sabat so they don't need to cook. He laughed
- 20:19Speaker 1: and said they won't let you in. It's dangerous. I
- 20:22Speaker 1: went to bed at six point thirty in the morning.
- 20:24Speaker 1: My father woke me up to go out to the
- 20:26Speaker 1: stairwell because there was a siren. She immediately sent a
- 20:30Speaker 1: message to you to eat on and asked if everything
- 20:32Speaker 1: was okay. He replied that rockets were flying, but he
- 20:37Speaker 1: was in a safe place and she shouldn't worry. When
- 20:40Speaker 1: the second siren went off, they went out to the
- 20:42Speaker 1: stairwell again, and this time it On didn't answer her messages,
- 20:46Speaker 1: but he called a few minutes later. This is incredible
- 20:50Speaker 1: that this is how long this has been going on.
- 20:55Speaker 1: The reports back in March was that Hamas claimed it
- 20:57Speaker 1: would release Alexander Wi Israeli Prime Mister Yahu's office cast
- 21:01Speaker 1: quote doubt on Hamas's offer and accused the terrorists organization
- 21:06Speaker 1: of trying to manipulate talks underway in Qatar. Now, I
- 21:11Speaker 1: don't know if it is Trump going to the Middle East
- 21:14Speaker 1: that is having this type of impact. I think there's
- 21:16Speaker 1: a very good chance. So that's a large part of this,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I really do think. I think there's a very good
- 21:22Speaker 1: chance that this could come down to actually that issue.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I also think some of this just deals with the
- 21:29Speaker 1: simple fact that the Middle East is on edge because
- 21:34Speaker 1: Donald Trump has made it clear he's willing to come
- 21:37Speaker 1: after Terrists, just like he went after Hesblon and Huthi's
- 21:40Speaker 1: and now they're just decimated.
- 21:43Speaker 2: And the presence like I'm not.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Screwing around with Terrists, and and and by the way,
- 21:47Speaker 1: Israel shouldn't screw around the terraces either, Like you got
- 21:50Speaker 1: to defend yourself, you got to go you got to
- 21:52Speaker 1: go all out. And if you need to go out,
- 21:53Speaker 1: then go all out. And I think that's that this
- 21:56Speaker 1: is part of that. Hey, if we have to, we
- 21:59Speaker 1: will come after you. If we must, we will. And
- 22:04Speaker 1: if you think we won't, you're insane. We're not afraid
- 22:08Speaker 1: to come after you. We are willing to come after you.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And we don't want to but if you force us to,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and you force our hand, then we're gonna do it.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Time will tell if they actually do what they say
- 22:21Speaker 1: they're going to do. Okay, Like time will tell, we'll
- 22:28Speaker 1: just see. You don't know here, You really honestly don't know.
- 22:33Speaker 1: But what I will say is that the President does
- 22:37Speaker 1: seem hell bent on making sure that we hold these
- 22:41Speaker 1: terrorists accountable and that we go after them, and that
- 22:46Speaker 1: we don't pause no matter what. So you look at
- 22:51Speaker 1: the last twenty four hours and you look at these
- 22:53Speaker 1: three big stories that we're talking about, it's incredible. It
- 22:57Speaker 1: is truly incredible. What has happened with prescription drugs. It's incredible.
- 23:03Speaker 1: What we're hearing with China and the trade talks. It's incredible.
- 23:06Speaker 1: What we're hearing now with the President in Israel and
- 23:10Speaker 1: what's happening here and him going to Middle East. I mean,
- 23:13Speaker 1: there is a lot that is going on, and it
- 23:17Speaker 1: is very significant. While we may have won this election,
- 23:22Speaker 1: the fight to restore our great nation is only beginning,
- 23:25Speaker 1: and now is the time to take a stand, and
- 23:27Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is leading the charge. It has never been
- 23:31Speaker 1: easier to switch your cell phone than in twenty twenty five.
- 23:35Speaker 1: With technology, you can do it literally over the phone
- 23:38Speaker 1: with a code they send you. It is amazing. But
- 23:42Speaker 1: here's the reason why I use Patriot Mobile now. One
- 23:45Speaker 1: I save money over what I was paying before with
- 23:47Speaker 1: Big Mobile. And two, I'm no longer supporting the radical
- 23:51Speaker 1: left now. I didn't realize until someone told me just
- 23:54Speaker 1: how radical Big Mobile had gotten. Where they are supporting
- 23:57Speaker 1: organizations that pay for abortions or supporting radical democratic causes
- 24:02Speaker 1: and organizations. They're helping Democrats get elect it at the local, state,
- 24:05Speaker 1: and national level. That is actually why, over a decade
- 24:09Speaker 1: ago Patriot Mobile was started and they are now America's
- 24:12Speaker 1: only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Now, let's talk about coverage.
- 24:17Speaker 1: In twenty twenty five, you have zero problems with coverage
- 24:21Speaker 1: anymore because well, Patriot Mobile uses all three major networks.
- 24:25Speaker 2: What does that mean for you?
- 24:27Speaker 1: It means whatever coverage you're used to now you're going
- 24:29Speaker 1: to stay exactly the same, or you may even be
- 24:32Speaker 1: able to improve it, but it will not be any
- 24:35Speaker 1: issues when it comes to coverage. In fact, they have
- 24:37Speaker 1: a coverage guarantee. But when you pay your bill, this
- 24:40Speaker 1: is where the magic happens. They take a portion of
- 24:43Speaker 1: your bill every month and they give it back to
- 24:46Speaker 1: organizations that support our first and our second amendments that
- 24:49Speaker 1: support the sanctity of life, that support our veterans, our
- 24:53Speaker 1: first responders, and are wounded warriors. And like I said,
- 24:57Speaker 1: switching with technology now has never been easier. You keep
- 25:00Speaker 1: your same phone you have now, keep your same phone number,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and you can even upgrade to a new phone if
- 25:05Speaker 1: you want to. They have a one hundred percent US
- 25:08Speaker 1: based customer support team to help you find the perfect
- 25:11Speaker 1: plan and to save money. And if you own a
- 25:13Speaker 1: business or a small business, they have a division that
- 25:15Speaker 1: just works on switching multiple lines over easily. So right now,
- 25:20Speaker 1: go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them
- 25:25Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot. You're going to get
- 25:28Speaker 1: a free month of service with the promo code ferguson.
- 25:31Speaker 1: So switch the Patriot Mobile and make a difference with
- 25:33Speaker 1: every call you make Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson
- 25:37Speaker 1: or nine to seven to two Patriot. I want to
- 25:41Speaker 1: get to another important story real quick that many of
- 25:44Speaker 1: you may not realize is happening, and that is just
- 25:48Speaker 1: how bad off we are right now when it comes
- 25:52Speaker 1: to our air traffic control system, how out of date
- 25:56Speaker 1: it is, how antiquated it is.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Sean Duffy went on meet the.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Press to talk about just how bad it is and
- 26:03Speaker 1: how it ever got to this point is beyond me.
- 26:06Speaker 1: But this is part of what he had to say
- 26:08Speaker 1: in the conversation about why we must overall this system.
- 26:12Speaker 1: And it's a system that was inherited by the trumpdministration
- 26:15Speaker 1: that is running on actual floppy discs where they're having
- 26:18Speaker 1: to buy parts on eBay to keep it running.
- 26:21Speaker 6: What can you tell us about this latest incident and
- 26:25Speaker 6: why does this keep happening?
- 26:26Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you this.
- 26:27Speaker 6: The system is old, right, This is a system that's
- 26:29Speaker 6: twenty five at best, sometimes fifty years old. The Congress
- 26:34Speaker 6: and the country haven't paid attention to it, right, they
- 26:36Speaker 6: expect it to work. And so now I think the
- 26:40Speaker 6: lights are blinking, the sirens are turning, and they're saying, listen,
- 26:43Speaker 6: we have to fix this because what you see in
- 26:45Speaker 6: Newark is going to happen in other places across the country.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It has to be fixed.
- 26:50Speaker 6: And so what we're having is some telecom issues. We're
- 26:53Speaker 6: also having some glitches in our software as the information
- 26:56Speaker 6: comes in it's overloading some of our lines and the
- 26:59Speaker 6: system goes down. So I'll just tell you specifically a newark.
- 27:03Speaker 6: We believe we're going to have it up and running
- 27:05Speaker 6: in short order. We're gonna be able to fix that glitch,
- 27:08Speaker 6: and we feel a little more comfortable about our primary
- 27:11Speaker 6: line that gets the data in on.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Radar, and our redundant line is up and rooking as well.
- 27:17Speaker 2: What can you tell us about I mean, you hear him.
- 27:20Speaker 1: It's scary that we're even at this point where no
- 27:24Speaker 1: one was doing this, no one was fixing it. It's like,
- 27:26Speaker 1: what were we doing? What was happening? Like, how is
- 27:31Speaker 1: this even possible that it got this bad? Sean was
- 27:37Speaker 1: also again I mentioned eBay. This is how bad it is, y'all,
- 27:42Speaker 1: And yet with all the money the government has, they
- 27:44Speaker 1: decide not to spend your money on having like top
- 27:48Speaker 1: of the notch air traffic control systems.
- 27:50Speaker 6: I'm concerned about the whole airspace right the equipment that
- 27:53Speaker 6: we use, much of it. We can't buy parts for
- 27:56Speaker 6: new We have to go on eBay and buy parts.
- 27:58Speaker 6: If one part goes down, you're dealing with really old equipment.
- 28:01Speaker 6: We're dealing with copper wires, not fiber, not high speed fiber.
- 28:05Speaker 6: And so this is this is concerning is it safe. Yes,
- 28:09Speaker 6: we have redundancies. Multiple redundancy is in place to keep
- 28:12Speaker 6: you safe and you fly. But we should also recognize
- 28:16Speaker 6: we're seeing we're seeing stress on an old network and
- 28:19Speaker 6: it's time to fix it. Bottom line, is it safe
- 28:21Speaker 6: to fly in the United States right now?
- 28:23Speaker 2: We listen.
- 28:24Speaker 6: We are the safest airspace for sure, and traveling by
- 28:28Speaker 6: air is way safer than any of the mode of transportation,
- 28:30Speaker 6: which is why I take it, my family takes it.
- 28:33Speaker 6: But again that doesn't mean you don't look over the
- 28:35Speaker 6: horizon and say, hey, if there is a major outage,
- 28:38Speaker 6: could that be a risk to life. Of course it
- 28:40Speaker 6: could be, which is why we fix it. I'm concerned
- 28:42Speaker 6: about the.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I mean this is you go back to Sean here,
- 28:47Speaker 1: the equipment that we use, much of it. We can't
- 28:50Speaker 1: buy parts for new We have to go on eBay
- 28:52Speaker 1: and buy parts, Like are we a third world country?
- 28:59Speaker 1: And no one was fixing this, Like no one was
- 29:02Speaker 1: working on this. And so he's like, look, we inherit it,
- 29:06Speaker 1: but we're going to fix it, Like we're not going
- 29:08Speaker 1: to just kick the can down the road or buy
- 29:10Speaker 1: more parts on eBay.
- 29:12Speaker 6: The problem we have is you can't snap your fingers
- 29:14Speaker 6: and fix it right. It takes time to build the infrastructure,
- 29:18Speaker 6: and it's I say, it's going to be three to
- 29:20Speaker 6: four years to build it all. But we're going to
- 29:23Speaker 6: focus on new work first. So we're gonna start to
- 29:24Speaker 6: see new work be far, far more resilient in the
- 29:29Speaker 6: near term. But air traffic controllers were three thousand short
- 29:33Speaker 6: on air traffic control. I can't snap my fingers and
- 29:35Speaker 6: bring in these highly skilled air traffic controllers. All this
- 29:39Speaker 6: is going to take time. So the key here is
- 29:41Speaker 6: we have to start. We have to begin the process
- 29:44Speaker 6: of fixing the system. I can't say in two weeks
- 29:46Speaker 6: I can have it fixed. That's not the space that
- 29:48Speaker 6: we deal with. But I'm gonna tell you we are
- 29:50Speaker 6: going to begin, and you know, in the in the
- 29:52Speaker 6: in the months and years ahead, we're going to see
- 29:54Speaker 6: real results.
- 29:56Speaker 2: That's how broken the system is.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Like the way that Sean is described, this is how
- 30:00Speaker 1: bad it is now. He also dispelled a rumor of
- 30:04Speaker 1: the fake news and I want you to hear this.
- 30:07Speaker 6: In the safety mission of the FAA, like air traffic controllers,
- 30:11Speaker 6: no one was cut we actually have staffed up. We've
- 30:14Speaker 6: hired more air traffic controllers during this time. There were
- 30:18Speaker 6: probationary workers that were let go. Those are employees who
- 30:21Speaker 6: were there less than a year unless and again we
- 30:24Speaker 6: excluded the safety positions.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Most of them have come back.
- 30:28Speaker 6: So again to say a department, the FAA has forty
- 30:32Speaker 6: six thousand employees, and if you lost three hundred and fifty,
- 30:35Speaker 6: is this affecting our safety mission. There's a lot of
- 30:37Speaker 6: things the FAA does, but for us, safety is key.
- 30:40Speaker 6: So no, we've retained all those safety positions.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Again, another lie that was told by the media.
- 30:45Speaker 1: They all lied to you, and they all told you
- 30:48Speaker 1: that this thing was a disaster, that it was just.
- 30:52Speaker 2: All these people Quitting's not true, not accurate.
- 30:55Speaker 1: And now the media, the same media that looked the
- 30:57Speaker 1: other way while Democrats were in charge, and while this
- 30:59Speaker 1: thing was because I'm me a disaster, what are they
- 31:01Speaker 1: now doing. They're like, oh, wow, we want to hold
- 31:03Speaker 1: Donald Trump and accountable for this, and he's.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Like, it's not that simple. He also went on CBS
- 31:09Speaker 2: this morning and was talking about this.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I want you to listen to the intro from CBS
- 31:13Speaker 1: this morning and how they described it.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Listen carefully to the propaganda.
- 31:19Speaker 7: Pretty airport from air traffic control problems.
- 31:22Speaker 2: You've been hearing a lot about this.
- 31:23Speaker 7: I've raised a lot of questions about the nationwide system.
- 31:26Speaker 7: Now safe it is to fly these days? Transportation Secretary
- 31:30Speaker 7: that's Sean Duffy announced plans yesterday to modernize air traffic control,
- 31:35Speaker 7: promising new software, updated equipment, and the first new ATC
- 31:39Speaker 7: centers since the nineteen sixties. Yes please, Secretary Duffy joins
- 31:43Speaker 7: us now from Washington. Good morning to you, mister Secretary.
- 31:47Speaker 7: It's good to see you, and can I just say,
- 31:49Speaker 7: as a nervous flyer, it seems like you and your
- 31:51Speaker 7: team are all over this, so great appreciation for that,
- 31:54Speaker 7: because it seems you want to get it right and
- 31:55Speaker 7: get it right quickly. But let's start with Newark Airport
- 31:58Speaker 7: because that's top of mind for many people there are
- 32:01Speaker 7: certainly on the struggle bus. How long do you think
- 32:03Speaker 7: it'll take to get things right there and reassure people
- 32:06Speaker 7: that it's okay to fly in and out of Newark?
- 32:09Speaker 6: Well, first off, for you, Gale and Froll flyers, our
- 32:11Speaker 6: main mission is safety, and so if there's any concern
- 32:14Speaker 6: with safety, we slow down traffic and there might be
- 32:16Speaker 6: delayed there might be cancelations, and we take those precautions
- 32:20Speaker 6: to make sure that you get from your departure city
- 32:24Speaker 6: to your arrival city. But it's gonna take a little
- 32:27Speaker 6: bit of time. Now, the main line that feeds information
- 32:31Speaker 6: into Newark that went down, the secondary line didn't stand up,
- 32:34Speaker 6: and so both lines.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Are now working.
- 32:36Speaker 6: We have a little bit of issues with our air
- 32:38Speaker 6: traffic controllers. Some of them have stepped out of the tower.
- 32:40Speaker 2: They were stressed.
- 32:42Speaker 6: So we're training new individuals in the Philly Traycon which
- 32:46Speaker 6: services Newark, and we're building a whole new fiber driven
- 32:51Speaker 6: system down in Philly that does serve that Traycon or
- 32:54Speaker 6: the New York Airport. So it doesn't weren't a situation
- 32:56Speaker 6: where you know, it's gonna take us a little bit
- 32:58Speaker 6: of time. I hope i've summer, we're gonna be fully functioning.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 7: I was going to say, mister Duffie, what does that
- 33:04Speaker 7: mean when you say a little bit of time, you
- 33:05Speaker 7: say by the summer, because I'm thinking the problem with
- 33:08Speaker 7: Newark is when you hear the screens went down, and
- 33:10Speaker 7: no one seemed to be able to explain that You
- 33:12Speaker 7: don't think we have to worry about that happening again.
- 33:15Speaker 7: You think they've corrected that problem.
- 33:17Speaker 6: Well, in Newark, both lines are working and so you know, listen, yes,
- 33:21Speaker 6: and if both lines do go down, there are emergency procedures,
- 33:24Speaker 6: backup procedures that we take to talk to airplanes to
- 33:26Speaker 6: make sure they stay separated. But Gail, I'm concerned. I
- 33:29Speaker 6: mean this system that we use many much of the
- 33:32Speaker 6: equipment you have to buy an ebait.
- 33:34Speaker 2: No one makes it anymore.
- 33:35Speaker 6: That's how old the system is that we fly on today,
- 33:38Speaker 6: which is why yesterday I called for a brand new
- 33:41Speaker 6: infrastructure plan to rebuild everything across the spectrum for air
- 33:45Speaker 6: traffic control. It is well overdue in America. And I
- 33:49Speaker 6: think what you've seen in Newark is you're having failings.
- 33:52Speaker 6: And when you have the failings, you take a look
- 33:54Speaker 6: at the whole system and could other parts, you know,
- 33:56Speaker 6: have issues. Of course it could have issues. But that's
- 33:59Speaker 6: why it's a call to action to do this for
- 34:01Speaker 6: America so you always feel safe.
- 34:02Speaker 2: In your flying gale.
- 34:03Speaker 7: Yeah, you said you've basically said all hands on deck.
- 34:06Speaker 7: I think the figure you gave was twelve point five billion,
- 34:09Speaker 7: and you said it could exceed that that you're you're
- 34:12Speaker 7: hoping to get the money upfront from Congress.
- 34:14Speaker 2: How is this going to play out? Do you think so?
- 34:17Speaker 6: No? No, it's so the first trons the House has twelve
- 34:19Speaker 6: point five billion for me. This is gonna be much
- 34:21Speaker 6: bigger than that. This is an infrastructure, a bill that
- 34:24Speaker 6: will go across the country. Listen, air traffic control is
- 34:27Speaker 6: in all you know, all these major cities across the country.
- 34:30Speaker 6: So it's going to be more than twelve and a
- 34:32Speaker 6: half billion. It'll be you know, tens of billions of
- 34:34Speaker 6: dollars to do this.
- 34:35Speaker 2: But the problem deal.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Is, in the past there's been just partial funding for
- 34:39Speaker 6: air traffic control upgrades.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Partial upgrade funding.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Now the whole thing. Now, I we'll just do a
- 34:44Speaker 1: little bit here. This is how corrupt our government is.
- 34:48Speaker 1: They'll spend money on transgendered my studies, and they'll spend
- 34:54Speaker 1: money on Sesame Street in Iran or whatever the hell country.
- 35:00Speaker 1: But no, we're gonna make you buy computers parts on
- 35:05Speaker 1: eBay for a forty to fifty year old system. That
- 35:09Speaker 1: is the world we're living in in our government. That's
- 35:11Speaker 1: how much they don't care about us. And thank goodness,
- 35:14Speaker 1: it's changing. Make sure, by the way that you share
