Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, ben Ferguson
- 0:03Speaker 1: with you. It's so nice to have you with us.
- 0:05Speaker 1: And Senator there has been a lot that has happened
- 0:08Speaker 1: in this country dealing with people that have come into
- 0:10Speaker 1: this country unvetted, and now we have seen an attack.
- 0:14Speaker 1: It's cost people with their lives, and not only that,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we've also found others that are now threatening to do
- 0:19Speaker 1: violence in America.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I'm angry about it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: A lot of Americans are, and finding out just how
- 0:24Speaker 1: ignorant the last administration was and letting people in is
- 0:26Speaker 1: truly shocking and a real national security issue.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Now, well, it's truly horrific what happened on Wednesday, the
- 0:34Speaker 3: Wednesday before Thanksgiving, two National Guard members, Sarah Beckstrom H
- 0:39Speaker 3: twenty and Andrew Wolf H twenty four, were shot less
- 0:42Speaker 3: than twenty four hours after they were sworn in. Sarah
- 0:45Speaker 3: tragically passed away on Thanksgiving Day as you and I
- 0:49Speaker 3: are recording this. Andrew is still fighting for his life
- 0:52Speaker 3: but in very serious condition. The shooter, as we all know,
- 0:58Speaker 3: was an Afghan national who Joe Biden brought to the
- 1:02Speaker 3: United States, who had very limited vetting, who was released,
- 1:07Speaker 3: who was living in Washington State who got in a
- 1:10Speaker 3: car and drove from Washington State to Washington d C.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Pulled out a gun and shot these two National Guard members. Now,
- 1:18Speaker 3: if that is not infuriating, that, I don't know what is.
- 1:23Speaker 3: And in particular Ben, some of us, including the two
- 1:27Speaker 3: of us, including the Verdict podcast, have been predicting this
- 1:30Speaker 3: was going to happen for more than four years when
- 1:33Speaker 3: Joe Biden began doing this, when Joe Biden began bringing
- 1:36Speaker 3: in thousands upon thousands of unvetted Afghan nationals, just bringing
- 1:42Speaker 3: in people who who were in a war torn country
- 1:46Speaker 3: where radical Islamic terrorism is rife, and engaging in little
- 1:50Speaker 3: to no vetting. This was, sadly the predictable and the
- 1:54Speaker 3: predicted outcome.
- 1:55Speaker 2: They also lied about it.
- 1:57Speaker 1: And that's something else that I think people need to
- 1:59Speaker 1: unders is they tried to act like this was no
- 2:03Speaker 1: big deal early on center that we were vetting, and
- 2:07Speaker 1: they flat out lied to the American people because they
- 2:10Speaker 1: were trying to cover for the disastrous exit of Afghanistan.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. And if you remember, the exit
- 2:18Speaker 3: of Afghanistan was when the Biden presidency began to collapse. There,
- 2:23Speaker 3: you know, the Biden presidency was extremely political and their
- 2:27Speaker 3: poll numbers dropped ten points when it was an utter disaster.
- 2:31Speaker 3: They pulled out of Afghanistan. If you remember they pulled out.
- 2:34Speaker 3: They wanted to be out by September eleventh, the twentieth
- 2:36Speaker 3: anniversary of September eleventh, and so they ordered the troops
- 2:39Speaker 3: out with no level of competence, no level. The military
- 2:45Speaker 3: told them, look, we need sufficient troop levels to at
- 2:47Speaker 3: least do the evacuation. We need sufficient troop levels to
- 2:51Speaker 3: have a secure evacuation. At Bogram Airfield that we had
- 2:54Speaker 3: spent billions of dollars building, it was safe, it was secure.
- 2:57Speaker 3: If you wanted to do an evacuation, it was the
- 2:59Speaker 3: right place to do it from. But the Biden political
- 3:02Speaker 3: operatives said, no, we want the number down to twenty
- 3:04Speaker 3: five hundred troops by a date certain, and so they
- 3:06Speaker 3: abandoned Bagram. They just gave it to the Taliban. They
- 3:09Speaker 3: did the evacuation out of Cabul National Airport, which is
- 3:13Speaker 3: in the middle of it a dense urban area, and
- 3:16Speaker 3: tragically resulted in thirteen servicemen and women being murdered. Because
- 3:20Speaker 3: of those decisions and the incompetence and the ideology and
- 3:24Speaker 3: understand it was both. It was incompetence, to be sure,
- 3:28Speaker 3: but it was also ideology that they refused to recognize.
- 3:32Speaker 3: This is an administration that we refused to recognize radical
- 3:35Speaker 3: Islamic terrorism exists. And so we saw the images of
- 3:39Speaker 3: planes taking off in Cabbal with people clinging to the
- 3:43Speaker 3: to the tires and trying to get into the wheel wells,
- 3:45Speaker 3: the panic, the terror, the chaos, the death, and politically
- 3:49Speaker 3: the Biden administration that was the turning point. After that,
- 3:53Speaker 3: they began shipping in thousands and tens of thousands and
- 3:57Speaker 3: even hundreds of thousands of Afghans, and because idea logically,
- 4:00Speaker 3: they don't acknowledge radical Islamic terrorism as a threat, they
- 4:04Speaker 3: didn't vet them. They just said, Hey, the more people
- 4:06Speaker 3: we bring into this country who hate America, the more
- 4:11Speaker 3: people are going to vote Democrats. That's the only justification.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It's like ignorance, an ideology plus a long term political objective.
- 4:19Speaker 3: And we've seen it. We've seen it with the Somali
- 4:22Speaker 3: invasion in Minnesota and the tragedies that are unfolding there.
- 4:25Speaker 3: We've seen it with the radicalization of places like Dearborn,
- 4:28Speaker 3: Michigan and We've seen it with the Afghans, and this
- 4:31Speaker 3: is something I have been screaming from the ramparts and
- 4:34Speaker 3: fighting from day one. And what happened in DC is infuriating.
- 4:38Speaker 3: And those two National guardsmen did not need to be shot.
- 4:41Speaker 3: And this is the result of idiotic policies from the
- 4:44Speaker 3: Biden Harris administration.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, the frustrating part about this is this is another
- 4:48Speaker 1: disaster that Trump administration has inherited, and so how do
- 4:51Speaker 1: we clean it up? We're going to talk about that
- 4:53Speaker 1: in a moment, but before we do that, I want
- 4:55Speaker 1: to talk to you about your cell phone provider. How
- 4:57Speaker 1: would you like to know that you're saving money, You're
- 5:00Speaker 1: getting unbelievable service, and on top of that, every single
- 5:04Speaker 1: month when you pay your bill, you're actually giving back
- 5:06Speaker 1: to conservative causes that fight for your first or second
- 5:09Speaker 1: minute rights, the rights of unborn children, and for our
- 5:12Speaker 1: men and women in uniform, our veterans, our wounded warriors,
- 5:15Speaker 1: are fallen soldiers and supporting their families. Well, every month
- 5:19Speaker 1: when I pay my bill to Patriot Mobile, that's exactly
- 5:22Speaker 1: what happens. And so often it's just the truth. The
- 5:26Speaker 1: matter of the fact is there's a lot of companies
- 5:27Speaker 1: out there that actually fight against our values. So why
- 5:31Speaker 1: give them your cash and support them when they're fighting
- 5:34Speaker 1: against what you believe in. Big Mobile gives massive donations
- 5:37Speaker 1: to democratic causes, candidates, and radical organizations that fight against
- 5:42Speaker 1: everything we believe in. Well, switch to Patriot Mobile and
- 5:47Speaker 1: you'll know that with every text you sin and with
- 5:49Speaker 1: every call you make, you're making a difference because about
- 5:52Speaker 1: five percent of your bill every month goes back to
- 5:55Speaker 1: support conservative causes. Now you may ask a question about coverage,
- 5:59Speaker 1: it's not a problem. I literally flew to Israel, I
- 6:02Speaker 1: was in Gaza and my phone worked. If you're worried
- 6:05Speaker 1: about coverage, you don't need to be. Patriot Mobile is
- 6:09Speaker 1: the only one of the carriers out there that offers
- 6:11Speaker 1: premium coverage as the main carriers, but they give you
- 6:14Speaker 1: multiple options. In fact, you can even have two phone
- 6:18Speaker 1: numbers on the same line. They offer limited data plans,
- 6:21Speaker 1: mobile hotspots, international roaming, just like when I was in Israel,
- 6:25Speaker 1: and so much more, and switching has never been easier.
- 6:28Speaker 1: You can activate in minutes from your home or your office,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and you can keep your same number, keep your phone,
- 6:34Speaker 1: or upgrade. So what are you waiting on? And let
- 6:36Speaker 1: me give you a free month of service as well.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict. That's Patriot Mobile dot
- 6:42Speaker 1: com slash verdict or nine seven to two Patriot use
- 6:45Speaker 1: the promo code verdict for a free month of service.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict promo code verdict.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You're gonna free month of service today. All right, So center,
- 6:56Speaker 1: let's go back to what we were talking about before,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and let's really do a reset of the warnings, the
- 7:04Speaker 1: fact that the Biden administration was warned about this turning
- 7:08Speaker 1: into what it is now.
- 7:10Speaker 2: It's costing people their lives.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And there were quite a few that listened to show
- 7:15Speaker 1: that knew we were sounding the alarm, not because we
- 7:18Speaker 1: wanted to be right, but because this is a national
- 7:20Speaker 1: security issue and we saw it happening before our very eyes.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Now that's exactly right. We're going to put up for
- 7:26Speaker 3: those of you who are watching the podcast on YouTube,
- 7:29Speaker 3: We're going to put up a tweet that I sent
- 7:31Speaker 3: out in August of twenty twenty one, and I'll read
- 7:35Speaker 3: you the tweet. It says, touring the Donna Anna Camp
- 7:39Speaker 3: at Fort Bliss this morning, where Biden administration plans to
- 7:43Speaker 3: house ten thousand Afghan refugees. We should rescue Afghans who've
- 7:49Speaker 3: assisted the US military, but they should go to a
- 7:52Speaker 3: neutral and safe third country. They should not come to
- 7:57Speaker 3: the US without a full security So, look, there were.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Afghans during the way. Wait, what was the day to that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I want to make sure people understand how much we
- 8:06Speaker 1: knew this was going to be a problem.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Okay, So it was August twenty seventh, twenty twenty one.
- 8:11Speaker 3: And by the way, I was and I also have
- 8:13Speaker 3: a picture, so I'm in a black Hawk helicopter touring
- 8:17Speaker 3: the tent facility. They literally built a gigantic tent city
- 8:21Speaker 3: on Fort Bliss. Fort Bliss is in El Paso, Texas.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It is a massive military base and they built a
- 8:26Speaker 3: tent city to house ten thousand Afghans. Now, there was
- 8:32Speaker 3: very little security. They didn't know who was coming in.
- 8:34Speaker 3: They didn't know how they would leave. They didn't know
- 8:36Speaker 3: if they could leave, if they were terrorists. They could
- 8:38Speaker 3: literally hail an uber leave and go wherever they wanted.
- 8:41Speaker 3: It was insanity and listen. During the war in Afghanistan,
- 8:47Speaker 3: there were Afghans who made courageous decisions to help the
- 8:51Speaker 3: US government, And I think it's wrong and im moral
- 8:54Speaker 3: to just leave them to be murdered by the Taliban.
- 8:56Speaker 3: So I think we had an obligation knew something. But
- 8:59Speaker 3: there are a lot of options short of bringing them
- 9:01Speaker 3: to America. That they're a whole bunch of Muslim countries
- 9:04Speaker 3: in the Middle East where they would not pose the
- 9:06Speaker 3: same terror threat that they pose here, And a perfectly
- 9:10Speaker 3: reasonable approach would be We're going to set up refugee
- 9:14Speaker 3: camps with our allies through throughout the throughout the Middle East,
- 9:18Speaker 3: move those refugees there, and for those that pass a
- 9:23Speaker 3: vigorous screening test, it is possible some of them might
- 9:28Speaker 3: come to the United States, but only after we were
- 9:30Speaker 3: absolutely certain that there was not a risk of a
- 9:33Speaker 3: terror attack like we saw.
- 9:35Speaker 2: By the way you and I talked about this.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I knew several people that worked that fought for our
- 9:40Speaker 1: country in Afghanistan and they said their most frustrating aspect
- 9:44Speaker 1: of the pullout was the US was almost like they
- 9:47Speaker 1: were playing a numbers game. Well, we got out five
- 9:49Speaker 1: thousand or ten thousand or twenty thousand, and they said
- 9:53Speaker 1: their interpreters were being hunted down, people that helped American
- 9:57Speaker 1: soldiers were being hunted down. They weren't actually pulling out
- 10:01Speaker 1: the people that deserve to be pulled out. It was
- 10:04Speaker 1: just a numbers game after the disaster, try to make
- 10:06Speaker 1: it go away.
- 10:08Speaker 3: No, that's exactly right. They were both over inclusive and
- 10:12Speaker 3: under inclusive. In other words, they were missing people who
- 10:16Speaker 3: really had been allies of the United States because there
- 10:18Speaker 3: was no serious process to identify who would risk their lives,
- 10:21Speaker 3: who was at real danger of persecution and murder. And
- 10:25Speaker 3: they were also just letting waving people in. I want
- 10:29Speaker 3: you to listen to this cross examination that I did
- 10:33Speaker 3: of Tony Blinkn, then the Secretary of State at the time,
- 10:36Speaker 3: give a listen on this topic. But I want to
- 10:38Speaker 3: ask you flat out, did the State Department give the
- 10:42Speaker 3: Taliban a list or multiple list of Americans and or
- 10:45Speaker 3: Afghans that we wanted out.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Those reports and the idea that we would do anything
- 10:50Speaker 4: to endanger our citizens or anyone else at a time
- 10:53Speaker 4: when we were trying to save their lives is flat
- 10:56Speaker 4: out wrongs.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Let me just like a yes or no, did you
- 10:59Speaker 3: give them?
- 10:59Speaker 5: Let me very.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Clear, a Senator, if I may please thank you, in
- 11:06Speaker 4: limited instances where we were seeking to get a bus
- 11:10Speaker 4: or a group of people through a checkpoint. We gave
- 11:14Speaker 4: a manifest to the people at the checkpoint to demonstrate
- 11:17Speaker 4: that those people were expected way.
- 11:18Speaker 3: How many names were on the list you gave.
- 11:21Speaker 5: It doesn't matter because they all.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Dozen, the hundreds, thousands, give us some order of magnitude.
- 11:25Speaker 5: This happened in a handful of situations where to dozen.
- 11:28Speaker 3: So is it your testimony It wasn't hundreds. I want
- 11:30Speaker 3: to understand. Did you give them thousands of names?
- 11:33Speaker 6: No?
- 11:33Speaker 5: We did not. Okay, hundreds, not going to put a
- 11:36Speaker 5: number on it, but it was again.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Why not? This is a hearing to discover how many
- 11:39Speaker 3: names and how many of those individuals you gave the
- 11:42Speaker 3: Taliban the name to have been targeted for torture or murder.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Senator, by definition, these were in limited instances with a
- 11:50Speaker 4: bus or a group of people to get them through
- 11:52Speaker 4: a checkpoint.
- 11:53Speaker 5: They got through the checkpoint.
- 11:54Speaker 3: So not only did you fail to evacuate Americans and
- 11:59Speaker 3: green cardholes who were there, but you also brought in
- 12:02Speaker 3: tens of thousands of Afghans who had wholly inadequate vetting,
- 12:08Speaker 3: bringing many of them to the United States. And one
- 12:10Speaker 3: of the things that has done is that has brought
- 12:12Speaker 3: in a humanitarian crisis to America. Child marriage and domestic
- 12:18Speaker 3: abuse tragically are widespread in Afghanistan. According to the World
- 12:22Speaker 3: Health Organization, more than half of the women in Afghanistan
- 12:27Speaker 3: are married as child brides and ninety percent of women
- 12:30Speaker 3: are subject to domestic abuse ninety percent. On August twenty seventh,
- 12:35Speaker 3: according to public reports, you distributed internal documentation highlighting numerous
- 12:41Speaker 3: instances and intake centers of sexual abuse in which much older,
- 12:47Speaker 3: grown Afghan males appeared with children. Young children claimed they
- 12:53Speaker 3: were their brides, claimed they were their wives, and the
- 12:57Speaker 3: document said the State Department urgent requested guidance. That was
- 13:02Speaker 3: your word urgently. Subsequently, Department of Homeland Security said that
- 13:07Speaker 3: it showed the desperation of families that they were willing
- 13:10Speaker 3: to give little girls to grown men to be subject
- 13:13Speaker 3: to sexual abuse and child wives. My questions as follows.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Did you receive that urgent guidance? How many children have
- 13:20Speaker 3: been subject to sexual abuse? What have you done to
- 13:23Speaker 3: rescue young children from illegal and abusive relationships? After being
- 13:30Speaker 3: brought to America by the State Department.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Across the entire government, everyone involved in the evacuation effort,
- 13:37Speaker 4: whether it's at a transit point in one of the
- 13:41Speaker 4: countries that we negotiated with, whether it's here in the
- 13:43Speaker 4: United States at Dulles or Philadelphia or the military bases,
- 13:48Speaker 4: we have all of our officers at extreme vigilance to
- 13:53Speaker 4: look for and to deal with any cases or concerns
- 13:59Speaker 4: that he's.
- 14:00Speaker 3: The urgent guidance And how many child.
- 14:02Speaker 5: Guides have you seen?
- 14:03Speaker 4: I don't know the specific guidance referring to I'm happy
- 14:05Speaker 4: to look, uh, to look at it.
- 14:07Speaker 3: So is there not urgency to discover its abuse.
- 14:10Speaker 4: As could we could detect and deal with at any cases?
- 14:16Speaker 4: And there have been, to my knowledge a limited number
- 14:18Speaker 4: of cases where we have separated people because we were concerned.
- 14:22Speaker 5: The cases I'm aware of a handful.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I think it's a really important point here, Senator, that
- 14:27Speaker 1: we are now dealing with the reality of this situation,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and that is this was more than just a national
- 14:35Speaker 1: security threat. This was a threat to so many Americans.
- 14:39Speaker 1: It's not just terrorism. It's also what you just described there.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, and look, this is related. We have covered on
- 14:46Speaker 3: Verdict before the the incredible epidemic of child rapes from
- 14:51Speaker 3: pakistanis in the United Kingdom and the United Kingdoms turning
- 14:56Speaker 3: a blind eye to to this this pattern, this this
- 14:59Speaker 3: massive challenge of young children, young girls being raped tragically
- 15:04Speaker 3: in Afghanistan. That is also a very real problem. The
- 15:08Speaker 3: statistics on child brides are horrifying. Ninety percent of women
- 15:13Speaker 3: reported to have been subject to domestic abuse. And understand,
- 15:16Speaker 3: when the Taliban was taking over in Afghanistan, there were
- 15:19Speaker 3: families that were desperate, and so they would have a
- 15:21Speaker 3: little girl, a seven eight nine year old girl that
- 15:23Speaker 3: they would give to a grown man who was getting
- 15:25Speaker 3: on a plane and say here, take her as your wife,
- 15:28Speaker 3: to get her out of here. And that little girl
- 15:30Speaker 3: would would then be raped for the rest of her life.
- 15:34Speaker 3: And the Biden State Department, they knew it was going on,
- 15:38Speaker 3: but they didn't act to stop it. And understand, this
- 15:42Speaker 3: is ideology at play. Everyone not everyone. Many of those
- 15:47Speaker 3: who manned the Biden administration were alums of the Obama administration.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Under the Obama administration, I chaired a hearing because the
- 15:54Speaker 3: Obama White House had sent out a written guidance to
- 15:57Speaker 3: the Department of Homeland Security to urge and they use
- 16:00Speaker 3: the word purge any reference to radical Islam or the
- 16:06Speaker 3: Muslim Brotherhood or jihad and as a result, DHS either
- 16:12Speaker 3: edited or deleted more than eight hundred of their records
- 16:15Speaker 3: or racing references to radical Islam, Muslim brotherhood Jahad and
- 16:19Speaker 3: you know what, And then miraculously, later on when you
- 16:21Speaker 3: had a terror attack, they'd say, but we have no
- 16:23Speaker 3: record that this is connected to radical Islam. It's like, well,
- 16:26Speaker 3: because you had a purge and you deleted all the records. Ideologically,
- 16:31Speaker 3: those same left wing ideologues that were in the Obama
- 16:35Speaker 3: administration they went forward to the Bided administration. And so
- 16:38Speaker 3: it's a reason why if they've got people who are
- 16:40Speaker 3: American allies. You heard Tony blink and say, oh yeah, well,
- 16:42Speaker 3: we would give lists of them to the Taliban. What
- 16:44Speaker 3: could possibly be wrong? And it's a fundamental misunderstanding. It's
- 16:49Speaker 3: also bizarrely, look, Democrats claim they care about women's rights, Well,
- 16:53Speaker 3: it turns out that is not true when it's dealing
- 16:56Speaker 3: with women or girls being raped by radical Islamists. That
- 17:00Speaker 3: for them, in their Marxist hierarchy of oppression, being Palestinian,
- 17:07Speaker 3: being Taliban, being Isis is much more oppressed than being women.
- 17:12Speaker 3: So women's rights go out the window in the leftist hierarchy.
- 17:17Speaker 3: But it's not just the child brides and the humanitarian
- 17:20Speaker 3: victims from Afghanistan. It is the very real risk of
- 17:24Speaker 3: terror attacks here. I want to play this podcast Verdict
- 17:28Speaker 3: in September of twenty twenty one. Here's what we were
- 17:31Speaker 3: covering un Verdict in September twenty one. Give a listen.
- 17:35Speaker 3: So everyone assumes the camps where the evacuees are taken
- 17:39Speaker 3: are secure facilities. Process they're wide open and they are
- 17:43Speaker 3: free to go anywhere they want, and the Biden administration
- 17:47Speaker 3: apparently doesn't care if these are adult men with little
- 17:50Speaker 3: girls who they are sexually assaulting. The vetting is so
- 17:54Speaker 3: half asked that there is a very real risk that
- 17:57Speaker 3: if even one or two Jihads are in the mix,
- 18:00Speaker 3: that we could see a suicide bomb like we saw
- 18:03Speaker 3: in Afghanistan, but in an American mall or restaurant.
- 18:08Speaker 7: If they're letting people hop on these planes who have
- 18:11Speaker 7: been convicted of crimes in the United States, it's surely
- 18:14Speaker 7: the vetting is not top notch. And it's not as
- 18:16Speaker 7: though they're only going to Fort blizz They're going all
- 18:20Speaker 7: around the country.
- 18:21Speaker 1: By the way, it's spot on, they're going all around
- 18:23Speaker 1: the country. Fast forward to literally what we're dealing with
- 18:26Speaker 1: now in this administration where they're like, well, okay, yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: we had this attack, and oh there's another guy that
- 18:32Speaker 1: was talking about want to do another attack. But hey,
- 18:35Speaker 1: at least we can somehow Jedi mind trick you into
- 18:39Speaker 1: believing that somehow this is Donald Trump's fault, because that's
- 18:41Speaker 1: what the media did at first. And I think you've
- 18:42Speaker 1: got to connect these dots her center. The media is
- 18:45Speaker 1: trying to say that these National guardsmen that got shot,
- 18:49Speaker 1: one of them has died as the time we are
- 18:51Speaker 1: doing this, it happened. They're trying to say because of
- 18:55Speaker 1: Donald Trump rewriting the history and the warnings going back
- 18:58Speaker 1: to as we just played there for September of twenty
- 19:00Speaker 1: twenty one on this exact thing happening in reality.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah. At the same time, I wrote an op ed
- 19:06Speaker 3: and Fox News where I said, unfortunately, I believe we
- 19:08Speaker 3: will see American blood spilled because of these foolish mistakes,
- 19:13Speaker 3: and I went on to say the truth is that
- 19:15Speaker 3: the Taliban doesn't want to be welcomed into the community
- 19:18Speaker 3: of civilized nations. They are vicious terrorists who want to
- 19:22Speaker 3: kill us. Unfortunately, because of the catastrophic mistakes the Biden
- 19:26Speaker 3: administration made in Afghanistan. We are much more at risk
- 19:29Speaker 3: for deadly attacks by the Taliban or Al Qaeda, which
- 19:33Speaker 3: Pentagon officials estimate could regroup in Afghanistan in the next
- 19:36Speaker 3: year or two. It's a disgrace and the fault lies
- 19:40Speaker 3: directly with President Joe Biden and his administration. This was
- 19:44Speaker 3: obvious at the time. And look you heard on that
- 19:47Speaker 3: clip in September twenty one, I'm talking about seeing the
- 19:51Speaker 3: Donyana tent facility. When I showed up there, I was like, well,
- 19:55Speaker 3: are there any fences around it? No? Is there any bearer?
- 19:59Speaker 3: They're like none, This is not a prison facility. And
- 20:02Speaker 3: it was a one star general who was taking me
- 20:03Speaker 3: around with the helicopter. And I'm like, well, you know
- 20:07Speaker 3: what happens. You're saying anyone can leave. He's like, yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 3: they're not detained. This is just we're just offering them housing.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Think of this like an apartment complex. They can't stay here.
- 20:15Speaker 3: If they want or if they want to go somewhere else,
- 20:18Speaker 3: they can go. They can go somewhere else. And I yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 3: And I asked the Army, are y'all doing any vetting here?
- 20:24Speaker 3: That they said no, no, no, The State Department does that Afghanistan,
- 20:26Speaker 3: so it's all done before they get there. So they
- 20:29Speaker 3: got ten thousand people there and who knows where they went.
- 20:33Speaker 3: They don't keep a record of them that they don't
- 20:35Speaker 3: ask where do you go? I mean, that's part of
- 20:38Speaker 3: the infuriating problem that the Biden administration invited into this country. Islamists,
- 20:47Speaker 3: terrorists who explicitly want to murder us. And by the way,
- 20:51Speaker 3: you know what is unbelievable is the shooting in d
- 20:56Speaker 3: C was one of two yeah Afghans who were arrested
- 21:02Speaker 3: this week for threatening violence. Another one happened in Texas.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Here's one report from Breitbart. An Afghan national admitted to
- 21:11Speaker 3: the United States under President Biden's Operation Allies Welcome Resettlement
- 21:16Speaker 3: program was arrested this week after posting a TikTok video
- 21:20Speaker 3: in which he appeared to be building a bomb and
- 21:24Speaker 3: referenced Fort Worth as a target, according to the Department
- 21:27Speaker 3: of Homeland Security. Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia
- 21:31Speaker 3: McLaughlin reported the arrest of Mohammed da wood Alo Kase,
- 21:35Speaker 3: saying he allegedly posted a video on TikTok threatening to
- 21:38Speaker 3: blow up a building in Fort Worth, Texas with a bomb.
- 21:42Speaker 3: The Texas Department of Public Safety of the FBI Joint
- 21:45Speaker 3: Terrorism Task Force teamed up to make the arrest on
- 21:48Speaker 3: charges of making terroristic threats. This is happening, and by
- 21:53Speaker 3: the way, it continues to be. Alo Kase is an
- 21:56Speaker 3: Afghan national who was pardoned into the United States by
- 22:00Speaker 3: the Biden administration. His arrest came one day prior to
- 22:04Speaker 3: the a vicious attack on two West Virginia National Guard
- 22:06Speaker 3: soldiers in Washington, d c. By another Afghan national. This pattern,
- 22:12Speaker 3: when you let people in, you don't vet them. This
- 22:15Speaker 3: violence and this terrorism is predictable. And you had a
- 22:19Speaker 3: combination of a for four years, an open southern border,
- 22:22Speaker 3: so any Hamas or HESBLO or other terrorists could come
- 22:25Speaker 3: in through the southern border.
- 22:26Speaker 1: By the way, let's see you for a second, because Sara,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you're just brougham saying I wanted to ask you about
- 22:30Speaker 1: a moment ago, and before I do that, I want
- 22:32Speaker 1: to tell you about our friends at Compassion International. I
- 22:35Speaker 1: want you to just pause what you're doing for the
- 22:37Speaker 1: next sixty seconds, and I want you to imagine Lucy,
- 22:40Speaker 1: a seven year old Her stomach often aches with hunger
- 22:44Speaker 1: her small hands instead of holding crayons. Now only the
- 22:47Speaker 1: struggle of survival on dusty streets. School is a distant dream,
- 22:53Speaker 1: medical care forgotten hope. Lucy's potential is overshadowed, her future
- 22:58Speaker 1: is dim. But what if if someone stepped in? What
- 23:01Speaker 1: if there was a way to ignite hope for children
- 23:04Speaker 1: just like Lucy? Well there is, and that is with
- 23:06Speaker 1: Compassion International Partners and the local churches that provide children
- 23:12Speaker 1: holistic support more than just food. They receive critical medical care,
- 23:17Speaker 1: life changing education, vital skills training, and spiritual development, all
- 23:22Speaker 1: in Jesus's name. And you can empower a child just
- 23:26Speaker 1: like Lucy to break free from poverty. I want you
- 23:29Speaker 1: to do what I've done and sponsor a child today.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You can visit Compassion dot com. That's Compassion dot com.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You combine what we're witnessing now with what you just mentioned.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Center At the Southern border, we knew for a fact
- 23:47Speaker 1: that people on the Terrace watch list were coming across
- 23:50Speaker 1: our southern border, the same border that when Texas tried
- 23:53Speaker 1: to secure it, the federal government said no, no, We're going
- 23:55Speaker 1: to use forklists to raise up the Bob Weier to
- 23:57Speaker 1: let more people, and we have that on video, we
- 23:59Speaker 1: talk about that on verdict. They knew that people were
- 24:02Speaker 1: getting it on the terrorists watch list, people that wanted
- 24:04Speaker 1: to kill Americans. Well, they knew there was a real
- 24:07Speaker 1: threat of sleeper cells in this country coming from multiple.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Places around the world. And there still is. Al Shabab
- 24:13Speaker 2: exactly still is.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And you combine that with this, and you sit there
- 24:18Speaker 1: and you go basically they said, look, we know people
- 24:20Speaker 1: are gonna die, but we want an open border. We
- 24:22Speaker 1: know terroifts are coming in, we know they're on the
- 24:24Speaker 1: watch list. We know we're catching some of them. There's
- 24:26Speaker 1: a lot of guidaw ways that we don't catch. This
- 24:28Speaker 1: is just the cost of doing business. There will be
- 24:30Speaker 1: human carbage of American citizens', abusive children, the rape of children,
- 24:34Speaker 1: the sex traffigany of children. There will be murderers and
- 24:38Speaker 1: all sorts of people in this country. We know that
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's worth it to flood America with illlegal immigrants. That
- 24:45Speaker 1: was a calculated decision they made.
- 24:48Speaker 3: It was and the two occurred simultaneously. So one on
- 24:52Speaker 3: the one hand, they're opening the southern border and letting
- 24:54Speaker 3: anyone come in, yep. But on the other hand, they're
- 24:57Speaker 3: affirmatively flying ten of thousands of Afghans. And by the way,
- 25:01Speaker 3: we don't have any firm numbers in terms of how
- 25:03Speaker 3: many they brought in. In terms of vetting, you know,
- 25:07Speaker 3: you don't have anyone from the Biden administration saying, oh, yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 3: we thoroughly vetted this guy before we brought him here,
- 25:13Speaker 3: because their view was there was nothing to vet. If
- 25:17Speaker 3: they're bringing a fifty year old dude with an eight
- 25:19Speaker 3: year old girl that he says is his wife, that
- 25:23Speaker 3: shows you how utterly incompetent the vetting is. That they
- 25:26Speaker 3: just didn't care. Ideologically, they believed, well, their culture apparently
- 25:30Speaker 3: it's okay to rape little girls, and and so they
- 25:33Speaker 3: certainly were not asking engaging in the serious vetting. And
- 25:38Speaker 3: it's difficult. Look, one of the problems with vetting a
- 25:40Speaker 3: place like Afghanistan is there are limited records, and so
- 25:43Speaker 3: that's not an easy task. And my view, unless you
- 25:46Speaker 3: can conclusively determine that this person is not a terror threat,
- 25:49Speaker 3: we should not be bringing him to America. And so,
- 25:53Speaker 3: but the Biden administration I don't believe was even trying
- 25:58Speaker 3: to vet them in any serious way. They were just
- 26:00Speaker 3: bringing in numbers because this was all about politics rather
- 26:05Speaker 3: than the substance of keeping America safe.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Centat, there's also let's go back in time and
- 26:10Speaker 1: just remind people of what happened in this country last year.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It deals with Rashida Leib the radicals of the left,
- 26:18Speaker 1: and we're going to play that for you in a moment.
- 26:20Speaker 1: But before we do that, I got to tell you
- 26:22Speaker 1: about an amazing opportunity for all of you that listen
- 26:26Speaker 1: to Verdict and is to take some amazing classes from

- 26:56Speaker 1: mini series on Colonial America off bring a powerful reminder
- 27:01Speaker 1: that the first Americans, we're searching for the same things.
- 27:04Speaker 1: They believed faith and reason and revealed God's design for
- 27:07Speaker 1: the world, and the understanding became the foundation of their
- 27:10Speaker 1: courage and our freedom. It's an amazing look at the
- 27:14Speaker 1: idea is that still hold us together today. And the
- 27:16Speaker 1: new Hillsdale College miniseries on Colonial America offers a fresh
- 27:21Speaker 1: way to think about Thanksgiving as well, beyond the food
- 27:25Speaker 1: and the political debates. It reminds us what we should
- 27:27Speaker 1: truly be thankful for this holiday season. Our freedom, our prosperity,
- 27:32Speaker 1: and our faith. So combine that with forty free online courses.

- 27:46Speaker 1: cost you a dime. This is a way for me

- 28:03Speaker 1: dot edu slash verdict to and roll for free Hillsdale
- 28:07Speaker 1: dot edu slash verdict to en roll right now. All right, Santa,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I want to go back to a little over a
- 28:14Speaker 1: year ago, and let's just remind people of the Democratic
- 28:18Speaker 1: Party and also how we got to the point that
- 28:20Speaker 1: we're at right now.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Well, this just shows the overlap we were talking about
- 28:24Speaker 3: before that Ideologically, Today's Democrat Party refuses to acknowledge the
- 28:29Speaker 3: threat of radical Islamic terrorism, refuses to acknowledge radical Islam
- 28:33Speaker 3: and that it is fundamentally anti American. And so in
- 28:36Speaker 3: April twenty four, there were protesters in Dearborn, Michigan for
- 28:41Speaker 3: the and it was the International Al Kudds Day rally
- 28:45Speaker 3: where they began chanting death to America. And when that happened, so,
- 28:51Speaker 3: Dearborn Michigan is in Rashida to Leeds district. She is
- 28:54Speaker 3: the member of Congress that represents Dearborn Michigan. You have
- 28:57Speaker 3: a rally interdistrict channing death to America. And Fox News
- 29:01Speaker 3: quite reasonably came and asked her if she would condemn that. Uh,
- 29:05Speaker 3: give a watch and give a listen to how she responded,
- 29:08Speaker 3: I love.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Their regard.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Red red love.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Not a great look.
- 29:18Speaker 8: The mayor condemned it, the White House condemned it. But
- 29:21Speaker 8: what about Congresswoman Rashida to leave she Repsteerborn. Is she
- 29:26Speaker 8: okay with her constituents chanting death to America? Fox Business
- 29:31Speaker 8: correspondent Hillary Vaughan asked her watch congressmenan.
- 29:35Speaker 6: To Lee Fox News, I don't talk to Fox Snood.
- 29:38Speaker 6: At a rally in your district, people were chanting death
- 29:41Speaker 6: to America? Do you condemn talk to Fox News?
- 29:45Speaker 5: Do you condemn chance of death to America?
- 29:47Speaker 6: I don't talk to people that use racist trunks.
- 29:51Speaker 7: Why can't you just say whether or not you condemn
- 29:54Speaker 7: people chanting death to me?
- 29:55Speaker 6: Why are you afraid to talk to Fox News? Is
- 29:58Speaker 6: not listen using racist tropes?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Where us?
- 30:02Speaker 6: My community is what fox shoos is about? And I
- 30:05Speaker 6: don't talk to Fox News. Is death to America? Racists?
- 30:09Speaker 6: Is chanting death to America?
- 30:11Speaker 2: Racist?
- 30:11Speaker 6: Talking about your guys racist tropes. You know, you guys
- 30:15Speaker 6: know exactly what you do. I know you're from Polk,
- 30:18Speaker 6: but you guys gotta go deal with it. You're on
- 30:19Speaker 6: your own self. You're not gonna use me.
- 30:22Speaker 2: All right, Sinner.
- 30:22Speaker 1: You go back to that, and it's just one of
- 30:25Speaker 1: those moments where the warning signs are there, where we
- 30:30Speaker 1: tell you that these warning signs are there, and then
- 30:34Speaker 1: it happens, and I hate it that it happens, but
- 30:36Speaker 1: it's so predictable.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Now, you know.
- 30:39Speaker 3: It reminds me when when Obama was president, John Carey
- 30:42Speaker 3: was Secretary of State. There was an editorial cartoon and
- 30:45Speaker 3: it had the Iotolin Iran going death to America, and
- 30:49Speaker 3: it had John Carey saying, well, can we meet you halfway? Yeah,
- 30:54Speaker 3: that's the ideological incoherence. Look, when you walk down the
- 30:59Speaker 3: halls of Congress, and you've been there with me, ben
- 31:03Speaker 3: reporters stop you all the time. By the way, I
- 31:05Speaker 3: answer questions from Fox News, I answer questions from CNN,
- 31:07Speaker 3: I answer questions New York Times, I answer questions from
- 31:10Speaker 3: every lefty outlet, just walking along, because if you know
- 31:13Speaker 3: what you believe, I gotta say, that's not a gotcha question.
- 31:17Speaker 3: It's not a difficult question. Do you support death to America?
- 31:22Speaker 3: If you are a member of the United States Congress,
- 31:25Speaker 3: the Congress of the United States of America, one would
- 31:28Speaker 3: think it ought to be easy to say, Yeah, of
- 31:30Speaker 3: course death to America is wrong. I'm against that. That
- 31:33Speaker 3: should not be difficult for anyone. It speaks volumes that
- 31:38Speaker 3: Rashida Talib was unwilling to even condemn chance of death
- 31:43Speaker 3: to America in her own congressional district. That shows just
- 31:47Speaker 3: how dangerous the ideological rod is and tragically, we saw
- 31:51Speaker 3: the very real consequences of that ideological rod in letting
- 31:56Speaker 3: unvetted Afghan Afghan immigrants into this country, one of whom
- 32:02Speaker 3: just murdered one DC National Guardsman and may have murdered
- 32:05Speaker 3: a second. We pray that he survives, but at this
- 32:07Speaker 3: point our prayers are with him because we don't know
- 32:10Speaker 3: if he's going to survive the horrific attack.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's truly incredible. We're gonna keep you updated on
- 32:15Speaker 1: this subject. I can promise you don't forget. We do
- 32:18Speaker 1: the show Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We also do it
- 32:20Speaker 1: on video a lot on YouTube, So you can follow
- 32:22Speaker 1: this show on YouTube if you want to watch it,
- 32:24Speaker 1: or hit that subscriber auto download button wherever you get
- 32:28Speaker 1: your podcasts and cenator and I will see you back
- 32:30Speaker 1: here on Wednesday morning.
