- 0:01Speaker 1: Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. It's, you know, pretty simple.
- 0:05Speaker 1: It's really simple. We're not looking to take their industry,
- 0:08Speaker 1: we're not looking to take their land, we're not. All
- 0:10Speaker 1: we're saying is you can't have a nuclear weapon. I'd
- 0:13Speaker 1: like to see Iran thrive and they can do that,
- 0:16Speaker 1: I think very easily, or they can do it the
- 0:18Speaker 1: other way. And the other way is not going to
- 0:20Speaker 1: be good for them. It's going to be really bad
- 0:21Speaker 1: for them.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Good Thursday morning. Ben Ferguson with you. It's so nice
- 0:29Speaker 3: to have you on the forty seven Morning Update. And
- 0:31Speaker 3: here are the three big stories we're talking about today.
- 0:34Speaker 3: First up, a rand Supreme leader on obtaining nuclear weapon says, quote,
- 0:38Speaker 3: death to America is not just a slogan, it's a policy,
- 0:43Speaker 3: and the White House responds. Up next, Lindsey Graham has
- 0:47Speaker 3: some questions for the man that's going to be leading
- 0:50Speaker 3: the DEA and what he had to say about Kamar
- 0:53Speaker 3: Obrega Garcia, Well, it will shock the media with their
- 0:56Speaker 3: big lie and the Democratic Party, and we have the
- 1:00Speaker 3: audio for you here in just a moment and Finally,
- 1:03Speaker 3: a shocking speech from the fore of the Senate by
- 1:06Speaker 3: Chuck Schumer which basically could have been written by the
- 1:08Speaker 3: Chinese Communist Party on tariffs. I'll have that for you
- 1:13Speaker 3: in just a second. It's the forty seven Morning Update
- 1:16Speaker 3: and it starts.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Right now story number one.
- 1:18Speaker 4: As we move.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Past the one hundred day mark and the Trump administration,
- 1:23Speaker 3: there is still a lot that is happening, including on
- 1:26Speaker 3: the issue of Iran and their nuclear weapon capabilities. Iran
- 1:31Speaker 3: Supreme Leader setting the stage for exactly what they want
- 1:35Speaker 3: when it comes to their future, saying this about obtaining
- 1:39Speaker 3: nuclear weapons. Quote death to America is not just a slogan,
- 1:45Speaker 3: it is a policy translation. If we get a nuclear weapon,
- 1:50Speaker 3: we plan on using it. These are genocidal maniacs and
- 1:53Speaker 3: it's a terrorist regime, no matter what the liberal media
- 1:57Speaker 3: tries to sell you on. Now, the President of the
- 1:59Speaker 3: United States of America was asked about where are we
- 2:02Speaker 3: when it comes to a rand nuclear deal and what
- 2:05Speaker 3: will we do moving forward. Here's the President in his
- 2:08Speaker 3: own words.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. It's you know, pretty simple.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It's really simple. We're not looking to take their industry.
- 2:17Speaker 1: We're not looking to take their land. We're not. All
- 2:20Speaker 1: we're saying is you can't have a nuclear weapon. The
- 2:24Speaker 1: deal that was made, the deal that was made with Obama,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and then they would have expired already. It was a
- 2:30Speaker 1: terrible deal. It was it was would have expired, and
- 2:33Speaker 1: that gave them a clear path to a nuclear weapon.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't have accepted. That's why I terminated the deal.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Number one is way too short. You know, when countries
- 2:42Speaker 1: are involved, you don't make short term deals. These are
- 2:45Speaker 1: countries with long lives. And I terminated that. And it
- 2:50Speaker 1: was a great termination because it didn't allow us to
- 2:53Speaker 1: do anything once it terminated. You know what the deal was.
- 2:55Speaker 5: It was a terrible deal.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It really one of many terrible deals made by the US.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But no, I want I'd like to see Iran thrive
- 3:05Speaker 1: and they can do that, I think very easily, or
- 3:08Speaker 1: they can do it the other way, and the other
- 3:09Speaker 1: way is not going to be good for them and
- 3:11Speaker 1: be really bad for them.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Very clear stance from the President United States of America.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Either do a deal, or we will stop you. The
- 3:19Speaker 3: Senate Republicans coming out with a statement as well, agreeing
- 3:22Speaker 3: with President Trump, saying quote, Iran has no reason to
- 3:26Speaker 3: enrich uranium and must never have a nuclear weapon, saying, quote,
- 3:30Speaker 3: we are grateful that the President is holding Iran accountable
- 3:33Speaker 3: and working to ensure they can't obtain a nuclear weapon. Now,
- 3:37Speaker 3: the message to Iran is also very clear. We know
- 3:41Speaker 3: that you are a state sponsor of terrorism. We know
- 3:45Speaker 3: that you support the Huthis, We know that you support
- 3:47Speaker 3: Hamas and Hesblah, and we know that you are funneling
- 3:50Speaker 3: money to any of these proxies to go after people
- 3:54Speaker 3: that you don't like, including Israel. We know that you
- 3:58Speaker 3: chant death to America, death to Israel. And at the
- 4:01Speaker 3: end of the day, it will be impossible for us
- 4:04Speaker 3: to allow you to gain nuclear weapons. Now, if you
- 4:07Speaker 3: look at what is happening right now, there does seem
- 4:10Speaker 3: to be movement where Iran is coming to terms with
- 4:13Speaker 3: the reality the President Donald Trump is not flinching on
- 4:17Speaker 3: this issue and the ability for them to have a
- 4:19Speaker 3: nuclear weapon is a non starter. And yes, military power
- 4:24Speaker 3: will be used to stop them if we must. But
- 4:26Speaker 3: if you notice there what the President also said, he
- 4:29Speaker 3: wants the people of Iran to flourish, but they cannot
- 4:33Speaker 3: flourish if they are threatening the rest of the world
- 4:35Speaker 3: or trying to get that nuclear weapon. Now, the big
- 4:38Speaker 3: question is what will Ran do next? As they are
- 4:41Speaker 3: saying death to America, are they actually willing to get
- 4:43Speaker 3: a deal done. We'll have to watch in the days ahead,
- 4:46Speaker 3: but it's clear the President has said to them and
- 4:48Speaker 3: the rest of the world, if you don't get in line,
- 4:52Speaker 3: we will stop you, no matter what next. Story number two,
- 4:56Speaker 3: another immediate lie has exploded in the face of Democrats
- 5:01Speaker 3: and those in the media that were telling the story.
- 5:05Speaker 3: President Donald Trump's pick to lead the drug enforcement agency
- 5:09Speaker 3: known as the DEA has blown up the denials from
- 5:12Speaker 3: liberal media outlets that purported that the MS thirteen gang
- 5:16Speaker 3: member Kilmar Obrego Garcia is not sporting tattoos for the gang.
- 5:22Speaker 3: The DEA administrator Terry Cole made it very clear to
- 5:27Speaker 3: the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that the media
- 5:30Speaker 3: and Democrats were lying about the tattoos of a man
- 5:33Speaker 3: they described as just a father from Maryland. He was
- 5:37Speaker 3: asked about the tattoos during the hearing from Lindsay Graham,
- 5:41Speaker 3: and here is what he said.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Are you familiar with MS thirteen, Yes, sir, briefly, what
- 5:48Speaker 5: are they?
- 5:49Speaker 4: They're a terrorist organization?
- 5:51Speaker 5: Yeah, they've been designated at foreign terrorist organization. Yes, sir,
- 5:55Speaker 5: they're involved in drugs, fentanyl.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Extortion, kidnapping, drugs, intimidation, money laundering.
- 6:02Speaker 5: In your time in the DEA, do they have like
- 6:05Speaker 5: membership cards.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Not necessarily the membership cards, but they are well recognized
- 6:09Speaker 6: based on tattoos and in different Do you have.
- 6:13Speaker 5: A photo I think our office provided to you.
- 6:17Speaker 4: We spoke, Yeah, we spoke about it earlier.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Yes, sir, can you give this stuff? This is a
- 6:22Speaker 5: photo of tattoos a mister Breo Garcia. Much attention has
- 6:30Speaker 5: been paid to his case. I think he's in Venezuela.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Can you see the photo here?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Yes? Sorry, Ken, I have a copy of it.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Okay. Based on your time and experience and expertise in
- 6:45Speaker 5: the DEA, what does that photo or those markings suggest.
- 6:49Speaker 6: To you, Well, they suggest that he's an MS THIR
- 6:52Speaker 6: team member, that those are his markings, that's his brand.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Not only my time at the DEA, but currently I participate.
- 7:00Speaker 5: The start with a Leaf's that a sign of marijuana? Okay?
- 7:05Speaker 5: The next one is your smiley face okay, And the
- 7:09Speaker 5: next one is I.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Believe that's the one. I can't.
- 7:11Speaker 6: It's a little blurted out from you, sir, and then
- 7:13Speaker 6: the last one is a three backwards over.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Okay, So, based on your time as a DEA agent
- 7:19Speaker 5: in the field, particularly in Mexico, these tattoos are consistent
- 7:24Speaker 5: with MS thirteen associations.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yes, sir, that's correct.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Do you know of any other set of combinations that
- 7:31Speaker 5: would suggest some other organization this represents with.
- 7:35Speaker 4: This particular one, No, sir.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yet again, it's very clear the DEA nominee is the
- 7:40Speaker 3: Democrats and the media's worst nightmare.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Quote.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Based on your time as a DA agent in the field,
- 7:46Speaker 3: particularly in Mexico, these tattoos are consistent with MS thirteen
- 7:50Speaker 3: associations the DEA chief nominee. Yes, So why did the
- 7:54Speaker 3: media lie to you? Why did they say that the
- 7:57Speaker 3: picture wasn't even real, that the president was you know, bamboozled? Well,
- 8:03Speaker 3: ABC News even in the one hundred day interview, try
- 8:06Speaker 3: to imply that the picture wasn't real. Not only is
- 8:09Speaker 3: it real, but now we know from the man who
- 8:12Speaker 3: will be in charge of the DA that yes, this
- 8:15Speaker 3: individual is an MS thirteen gang member, not some father
- 8:18Speaker 3: from Maryland. And just think about it this way. This
- 8:22Speaker 3: is the man that Democrats flew down to hang out
- 8:25Speaker 3: with hold his hand and desperately want to bring back
- 8:29Speaker 3: into the United States of America a man that two
- 8:33Speaker 3: different courts have declared a member of a terrorist organization.
- 8:37Speaker 3: So if you think Democrats and the media are looking
- 8:39Speaker 3: out for you, just look at this new hoax that
- 8:42Speaker 3: they've already been busted on.
- 8:44Speaker 2: And here is story number three.
- 8:45Speaker 3: It was a speech from the floor of the Senate
- 8:48Speaker 3: by the Senate leadership of the Democratic Party, Chuck Schumer,
- 8:52Speaker 3: and it was a speech that very well could have
- 8:54Speaker 3: been written by the Chinese Communist Party. If you want
- 8:58Speaker 3: to know just how much they hate American workers and
- 9:02Speaker 3: they hate the idea of America standing firm or standing
- 9:05Speaker 3: up to China, well just listen to Chuck Schummer's own words.
- 9:09Speaker 3: And I'm not kidding when I say this. You gotta
- 9:12Speaker 3: wonder did the speech come directly from the CCP.
- 9:15Speaker 7: One thing is clear. Donald Trump's tariffs have been a
- 9:18Speaker 7: total failure. Instead of isolating China, Donald Trump's tariffs are
- 9:22Speaker 7: isolating US. Instead of spurring American manufacturing, Trump's tariffs are
- 9:28Speaker 7: raising costs and driving US into recession. There's no strategy
- 9:33Speaker 7: with Trump's tariffs, only chaos. One day Donald Trump says
- 9:37Speaker 7: yes to tariffs, the next day no to tariffs. One day,
- 9:42Speaker 7: tariff's on this country, the next day, tariff's on that country.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Even Donald Trump's own.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Policy advisors are struggling to explain his flip flopping. The
- 9:53Speaker 7: only thing Donald Trump's tariffs have succeeded in is raising
- 9:57Speaker 7: the odds of recession and sending markets in to a
- 10:00Speaker 7: sail spin.
- 10:01Speaker 3: If you want to file that speech under Chinese propaganda,
- 10:04Speaker 3: it'd be a perfect place to put it. And there
- 10:06Speaker 3: was also many things that were just flat out lies.
- 10:10Speaker 3: For example, he said it was destroying manufacturing these tariffs
- 10:14Speaker 3: in America. Well that's actually not true. Many US manufacturers
- 10:18Speaker 3: are now reporting major benefits from the tariffs. Whirlpool, for instance,
- 10:23Speaker 3: has indicated that the new trade policies helped level the
- 10:26Speaker 3: playing field by reducing foreign competitors' cost advantages and bolstering
- 10:31Speaker 3: domestic production. New Core, a leading steel producer, also saying
- 10:36Speaker 3: now they have strong demand and increase order backlogs, attributing
- 10:40Speaker 3: this to reduce reliance on imported steel. The tariffs have
- 10:44Speaker 3: prompted companies to consider reshoring. Production, including Apple, for example,
- 10:50Speaker 3: is expected to exceed earnings projections, partly due to increased
- 10:53Speaker 3: consumer demand ahead of potential tariffs and its effort to
- 10:57Speaker 3: ship production from China to India and other countries. Yes,
- 11:02Speaker 3: the President is making progress on tariff negotiations, as the
- 11:06Speaker 3: administration says, be patient. Many countries have lined up to
- 11:11Speaker 3: talk with a White House and are currently in negotiations. Whine,
- 11:16Speaker 3: the White House statement said it very clearly, tariffs are
- 11:19Speaker 3: aiming to rebuild the economy, restore national and economic security,
- 11:24Speaker 3: and make sure that American workers have great paying manufacturing jobs. Yes,
- 11:31Speaker 3: all of this indicates that there are major outcomes that
- 11:34Speaker 3: could come in the days and weeks ahead that will
- 11:37Speaker 3: be good for America. So why did the man in
- 11:40Speaker 3: charge of the Democratic Party put a propaganda speech out
- 11:44Speaker 3: there from the for of the Senate. Well, you got
- 11:46Speaker 3: to look at maybe just how close the Democratic Party
- 11:49Speaker 3: really is to the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing.
