- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like the million bucks things, and it's to
- 0:19Speaker 1: me through good it listening to mother. Please I don't
- 0:39Speaker 1: join join me. You gotta turn you, you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn you got to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing. Uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:07Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:11Speaker 1: oh man, almost forgot I had one this morning. But
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm okay. I'll tell you who I am in a
- 2:18Speaker 1: little bit. You know, I get around. Man, it's so much.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But man, good morning everybody. You know today. I was
- 2:26Speaker 1: having a conversation with my wife last night and we
- 2:29Speaker 1: were talking about our plans. You know, we often sit down,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know, just like a married couple. I mean, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know we're married. You know, we have children, we
- 2:38Speaker 1: have aspirations, we have hopes, we I mean know, we
- 2:42Speaker 1: have things we want. You know, when you're married, you know,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean it's important to sit with your partner. I'm
- 2:48Speaker 1: not telling you anything you don't know, it's common sense. Really,
- 2:51Speaker 1: it's important to sit down with the person that you've
- 2:54Speaker 1: chosen and decided to share your life with it and
- 2:57Speaker 1: have multiple conversations on a lot of things things And
- 3:00Speaker 1: we try to make sure that all of our conversations
- 3:03Speaker 1: aren't always just business related and always kid related, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 1: because that that that becomes it's a part of it.
- 3:14Speaker 1: But it weighs so much on the marriage that because
- 3:18Speaker 1: that that's the grunt work of being married. You know,
- 3:20Speaker 1: your children, your family, your bills, your your mortgage, your
- 3:25Speaker 1: your car notes. You know though, what's due, what's coming up,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and if you're not careful, you'll you'll start that becomes
- 3:35Speaker 1: the focal point of you all's conversation. And this woman
- 3:39Speaker 1: or man or person that you've decided to have this
- 3:42Speaker 1: life with, all of a sudden, they're an extension of
- 3:45Speaker 1: your business and you guys become business partners or whatever,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and and and it just gets so anywhere. I'm just
- 3:54Speaker 1: saying that that is important to sit down and have
- 3:56Speaker 1: these conversations, but it's even more important to have have
- 4:00Speaker 1: the other conversation. You know. It's it's important with the
- 4:03Speaker 1: person that you're planning on making the run to sit
- 4:07Speaker 1: down and talk about other things, you know, on a
- 4:10Speaker 1: more upbeat note. You know, we were having a conversation
- 4:14Speaker 1: that she was reminding me of what she loved about me,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and then I, in turn, was turned around telling her
- 4:22Speaker 1: the things that I admired about her and loved about her.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And we kind of have these all the time, you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: when we sit down and we talk about the things
- 4:32Speaker 1: that we still enjoy about one another, or we may
- 4:35Speaker 1: talk about some of the things that we miss in
- 4:37Speaker 1: one another. But we constantly had these conversations about appreciation.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You know, It's so important man, that the other person
- 4:45Speaker 1: feels appreciated. So these things are important. But we got
- 4:49Speaker 1: into the conversation deeper last night, and I was telling
- 4:53Speaker 1: her about this idea that I had and that I
- 4:57Speaker 1: wanted her to help me with and make a phone
- 5:00Speaker 1: call for me because she knows these people and I
- 5:03Speaker 1: was going to be doing this, and then my wife
- 5:05Speaker 1: reminded me of something not once again, you know, as always,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you know, when I'm talking to you, I just keep
- 5:11Speaker 1: it as real as I can. I don't know the
- 5:14Speaker 1: Bible inside out. I can't quote to you scriptures and
- 5:18Speaker 1: tell you exactly where it is. I just you know,
- 5:21Speaker 1: I heard her say it, but it kind of blew
- 5:22Speaker 1: by me. I was I was telling about something I
- 5:27Speaker 1: wanted to make happen, and she reminded me that there's
- 5:29Speaker 1: a scripture somewhere and somebody emailed it to me to day.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'm sure, Well, the Bible reminds us not to be
- 5:36Speaker 1: anxious for anything. Don't be anxious for something. And you know,
- 5:42Speaker 1: it really mattered to me at that point yesterday that
- 5:45Speaker 1: she bought this to my attention, because how many times
- 5:48Speaker 1: I've been guilty of that in my past and I've
- 5:51Speaker 1: learned better now, but every now and then I need
- 5:54Speaker 1: to be reminded, you know. And I think what that
- 5:58Speaker 1: what she was saying to me was, you know, I've
- 6:01Speaker 1: gotten to a point in my life, and we all
- 6:04Speaker 1: should get to a point where. You know, you've heard
- 6:07Speaker 1: old people say this, if you're gonna pray about something,
- 6:10Speaker 1: then don't worry about it. And if you're gonna worry
- 6:12Speaker 1: about it, don't pray about it. Back to this, be
- 6:17Speaker 1: anxious for nothing, don't. If you're going to him trust
- 6:21Speaker 1: in God. Didn't do that, and trusting in Him means
- 6:26Speaker 1: sometimes you got to be patient God has never been
- 6:31Speaker 1: too late. You don't know the plan he has, You
- 6:34Speaker 1: don't know. You don't really always know his will. You
- 6:37Speaker 1: definitely don't know his route, his way of doing anything.
- 6:41Speaker 1: So he's always on time. He's always been there on
- 6:45Speaker 1: time for me. He's always been there on time for you.
- 6:49Speaker 1: How many times have you thought it was over only
- 6:52Speaker 1: to find out it's really just begun. How many times
- 6:56Speaker 1: have people wrote you off? There are those of you
- 7:01Speaker 1: who have lost jobs, but you are still maintaining. But man,
- 7:07Speaker 1: God has already began to turn around process for many
- 7:11Speaker 1: of us. Some of us lost jobs and now have
- 7:15Speaker 1: better jobs. Some of us lost jobs and now has
- 7:19Speaker 1: forced us to rekindle that dream and that vision for
- 7:23Speaker 1: business we had. It's sometimes the mishap is the thing
- 7:27Speaker 1: you need to make something good happen. See a lot
- 7:31Speaker 1: of times we get so comfortable in our life where
- 7:34Speaker 1: we we get complacent, We just settling in and when
- 7:40Speaker 1: this is it and this is what I'm doing. But
- 7:42Speaker 1: in actuality, God has a tremendous amount of abundance for you.
- 7:47Speaker 1: He has an amazing amount of things. He has all
- 7:50Speaker 1: these boxes packaged up with your name on him that
- 7:53Speaker 1: he's willing to ship if you would just align yourself
- 7:58Speaker 1: with some of his wills so you could get some
- 8:00Speaker 1: of these things. How many times have you thought it
- 8:03Speaker 1: was over and it didn't really go over? How many
- 8:06Speaker 1: times have you thought well, this is it and it
- 8:09Speaker 1: wasn't it at all? Well, how many times do you thought, well,
- 8:12Speaker 1: it don't look like this gonna work out, and it
- 8:15Speaker 1: didn't work out, but then something better came along? How
- 8:18Speaker 1: many times has that happened? You've got to realize this. Man.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I was talking to a family who had got displaced
- 8:26Speaker 1: from the Katrina thing that happened down there in New Orleans.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And Man, when they said, yeah, we got a displaced
- 8:32Speaker 1: from Katrina, and I braced myself because old what was me?
- 8:36Speaker 1: Here comes this story. I gotta hear this, and I
- 8:39Speaker 1: gotta be encouraged and think of something. It was totally different.
- 8:42Speaker 1: They totally totally blew me away. Man. The brother said, Man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: is actually the best thing that ever happened to my family.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And I went whoa And he said, yeah, man, he said,
- 8:53Speaker 1: because what happened was he said, I got settled in
- 8:57Speaker 1: He said, Plus, I was doing something outside of my
- 9:01Speaker 1: marriage down there, He said, I was doing some stuff
- 9:04Speaker 1: in the streets. I ain't need to be doing, he said, Man,
- 9:06Speaker 1: it all got washed away. We thought our life would
- 9:09Speaker 1: never be the same. But he said, man, my life
- 9:11Speaker 1: ain't need to be the same. He said, Man. Now
- 9:14Speaker 1: we live up here in Texas, we got a house,
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I
- 9:20Speaker 1: know to get into trouble with. He said, man, i'dn't
- 9:22Speaker 1: rediscovering my wife, how beautiful she really is, how much
- 9:26Speaker 1: my family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:29Speaker 1: it's straightened me up. Man, he says, so, I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 1: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing that ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: happened to me. Now that's not always the case, but
- 9:37Speaker 1: it's how you look at a situation. But just don't
- 9:40Speaker 1: be anxious for anything, because God got a fix for
- 9:43Speaker 1: you if you just let him work. So just stay
- 9:47Speaker 1: on course, stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: just stay in the wheel. Let God work with you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He got some great stuff in store for you. You're

- 13:56Speaker 1: Harvey f M. Are you ready, mister c l O
- 14:00Speaker 1: years This one is for Shun in DC. I like it.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Shun says, I'm a forty five year old married woman
- 14:08Speaker 1: that loves old school music. I grew up listening to
- 14:11Speaker 1: old school music and playing records with my mom. My
- 14:14Speaker 1: favorite is Teddy Pendergrass. I can make love to him
- 14:18Speaker 1: every night. My husband is forty five two, but he
- 14:21Speaker 1: only likes hip hop and rap music. I don't mind
- 14:24Speaker 1: listening to it every now and then, but he wants
- 14:26Speaker 1: to be intimate with hip hop music on I try
- 14:29Speaker 1: to get him to compromise by listening to Keith's Sweat,
- 14:32Speaker 1: but he's not even into that. I can't get into
- 14:35Speaker 1: the mood to two chains music, and it's messing up
- 14:38Speaker 1: my mojo how can I get him to compromise for sex?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Stop having sex two chains, Stop having it if you see,
- 14:48Speaker 1: if you're a man and you ain't willing to make
- 14:50Speaker 1: that sacrifice so you can get yourself taking care of
- 14:54Speaker 1: your business, handle make it love you. If you don't
- 14:59Speaker 1: have it to wrap, you can't have it. But your
- 15:01Speaker 1: girl won't be that. We have so much shod day
- 15:05Speaker 1: and needle bak in that damn room. You'd be so sickly,
- 15:10Speaker 1: so you would hear nothing I had it. Girl would
- 15:14Speaker 1: be so sad. Turn them off. That's a card of
- 15:16Speaker 1: all the wrapping we're gonna do. Turn them off. She
- 15:22Speaker 1: even like Keith sweat shout out the kid, all right last,
- 15:32Speaker 1: So that's it. He needs to compromise. She's right, dog.
- 15:36Speaker 1: All she gotta do is I can't do it to that.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I could do it to this real good, but I
- 15:41Speaker 1: can't do it to that. Not to say that to
- 15:43Speaker 1: it all right, Fredo and Tallahassee says, I've been dating
- 15:48Speaker 1: a great woman for eight months and I was trying
- 15:50Speaker 1: to be faithful, but my old ways caught up with
- 15:53Speaker 1: me and I had a threesome with my ex girlfriend
- 15:56Speaker 1: and another chick I used to date. I'm only twitter four,
- 16:00Speaker 1: so I guess I shouldn't have tried to be in
- 16:03Speaker 1: a serious relationship. Right now, my girl saw the video
- 16:06Speaker 1: of my threesome on my phone and I flipped out
- 16:08Speaker 1: because she went through my phone. Right I'm holding on
- 16:12Speaker 1: strong to the defense that she shouldn't be snooping. She's not.
- 16:17Speaker 1: He must have listened to this show a lot. She's
- 16:19Speaker 1: not trying to hear that, and she will not speak
- 16:21Speaker 1: to me. How can I fix this and get my
- 16:23Speaker 1: girl back? Bro? You gotta be you're you're kidding me right?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Come on, see listen to me. Doc. You twenty four.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You've been doing this, seating this girl for eight months,
- 16:35Speaker 1: then you always slip back. You had a threesomes with
- 16:38Speaker 1: your ex and a girl she knows boom. You recorded
- 16:41Speaker 1: it on your phone. She's been snooping through your phone
- 16:44Speaker 1: and found it. You're holding strong to the you shouldn't
- 16:47Speaker 1: be stupid, But now you can't get your girl back.
- 16:50Speaker 1: But you just said you only twenty four. You don't
- 16:54Speaker 1: even know why you're trying to be in an intimate relationship.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You ain't ready for no commitment? Dog gone and do
- 17:01Speaker 1: you You ain't fit to get this one back, though, dog,
- 17:04Speaker 1: this one is gone. This chicked and flew the coop.
- 17:09Speaker 1: This one's a rap after the video. Yeah, I mean, bro,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you can't hold on to that one, so you gotta
- 17:20Speaker 1: let that go. No, you've been You've been sitting up here.
- 17:23Speaker 1: You ain't posted to snoop through my phone. Correct, she's
- 17:26Speaker 1: not supposed to snoop through your phone, but she did,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and guess what she saw? Now, you dating her in
- 17:34Speaker 1: her mind. Ain't supposed to be having no damn threesome.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Threesome on my phone with your EGX phone. Oh, this
- 17:43Speaker 1: is a rap. You're lucky you still living? Yes, thank
- 17:48Speaker 1: God for that blessing. Man. You you don't do that
- 17:55Speaker 1: to me? Well, you won't never bring your friends all
- 17:58Speaker 1: this all right? Unhappy in Denver says, I'm a twenty
- 18:06Speaker 1: eight year old married woman and I'm unhappily married. My
- 18:09Speaker 1: husband thinks at buying me things and five minutes sex
- 18:12Speaker 1: is enough, but I need more than the kiss on
- 18:14Speaker 1: my head before he leaves for work. I started having
- 18:17Speaker 1: an affair two months ago, and my lover shows me
- 18:20Speaker 1: a lot of attention, and he has reminded me that
- 18:23Speaker 1: I'm special. The sex is passionate. And it's like he
- 18:26Speaker 1: taps into my soul when we're intimate. I have been
- 18:29Speaker 1: married for five years and I'm ready to get a divorce,
- 18:32Speaker 1: but not necessarily to be with my lover. So how
- 18:35Speaker 1: can I tell if divorce is the right move or not?
- 18:41Speaker 1: First of all, stop lying. You test told me that
- 18:47Speaker 1: a man touches you and taps into your soul. So
- 18:55Speaker 1: you can even reverse that and say when the man
- 18:58Speaker 1: is tapping you, he touches your soul. You can say
- 19:02Speaker 1: this any way you want to. But that's what this
- 19:05Speaker 1: damn that about. Now you want a damn divorce, but
- 19:08Speaker 1: there ain't got nothing to do with that man. That's
- 19:10Speaker 1: just a damn lie. That's a lie. You want the
- 19:15Speaker 1: divorce now? Yeah, but see, but here's a deal. You
- 19:21Speaker 1: need the five minute sex. He buys you things and
- 19:24Speaker 1: he kiss you on the forehead before he go to work.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Two out of three ain't bad. But anyway, go ahead.
- 19:29Speaker 1: So she buying your stuff, yes, do, get a kiss
- 19:37Speaker 1: on the forehead and you all you gotta do is
- 19:43Speaker 1: try to get this five turn into fifteen and bam
- 19:46Speaker 1: you in a healthy marriage. We're good. Because that's just
- 19:50Speaker 1: because the bride stuff and kissing on the forehead is
- 19:54Speaker 1: pretty good deal after who at that. Now, if you
- 19:59Speaker 1: just want to just being there doing Ringling Brother activities,
- 20:04Speaker 1: then you got to go with this. Dude you didn't
- 20:06Speaker 1: had the fan with. But you're wrong and this whole
- 20:09Speaker 1: thing can probably backfile on you. I was suggest talking
- 20:12Speaker 1: to your husband about them five minutes. See if you
- 20:18Speaker 1: can't stretch it out a little bit more than that.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Twenty eight she's been married for five years, she's been
- 20:23Speaker 1: married since she was twenty three. Wow, that's you. Yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you know if you can get a strong twelve in
- 20:30Speaker 1: in Yeah, yeah, compromise, I'm talking about Hella though. I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: talking about about Hella. Yeah, I'm talking about man. Where
- 20:41Speaker 1: you up in there? You know what I'm saying, I'm
- 20:44Speaker 1: do you know what I'm talking about? You don't? Wow?
- 20:47Speaker 1: All right? Thank you as always, moment Cel, We love you.

- 21:24Speaker 1: it is Monday time for Reverend Motown and Deacon def Jam.
- 21:27Speaker 1: They are here with church complaints. No you don't go

- 21:58Speaker 1: show the yill ungratefulness of the entirely congregation. Jesus called
- 22:12Speaker 1: church complaints. That's right. They are led by him. Now, yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 1: who is they complaint? But I'm not I'm not. Just
- 22:26Speaker 1: go ahead, all right, pastor here, we got the Minister
- 22:35Speaker 1: of music since wrote and since he said, if you
- 22:39Speaker 1: can't come to zoom choir rehearsal, okay, uh, then you
- 22:46Speaker 1: can't sing in zoom service all right now if you
- 22:50Speaker 1: But he wants he wants, uh, he wants you to
- 22:54Speaker 1: get him the right to be able to do this.
- 22:55Speaker 1: If they do show up trying to sing, he wants
- 22:58Speaker 1: you to be able to give him the authority to
- 23:01Speaker 1: put them on mute. Past it, you're like, you can't come.
- 23:05Speaker 1: If you don't come to rehearse them. You can't just
- 23:07Speaker 1: show up at zoom service and start singing. He wants
- 23:11Speaker 1: to be to put them on mute. If you wasn't
- 23:14Speaker 1: a rehearsal, that's that's not I'm going to have to
- 23:18Speaker 1: give him my consider If you're not at the zoom rehearsals. Yeah,
- 23:26Speaker 1: you can't have a zoom vocal part in the zooming
- 23:33Speaker 1: of the choir. I agree. You shall be put on
- 23:37Speaker 1: mute if you can't make it to the zoom rehearsal.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I shall be put on mute if you can't make
- 23:50Speaker 1: the zoom ReHO. I muted him last week, my damn
- 23:53Speaker 1: show because I couldn't believe what I was here. Ain't. Yeah,
- 23:56Speaker 1: that's when I'm talking, my pa. I'm so glad you
- 23:58Speaker 1: heard it, because I didn't know if you heard Lord
- 24:00Speaker 1: of Monty. People need should be standing next to someone
- 24:06Speaker 1: else to get their note. A lot of off keys
- 24:12Speaker 1: sank you better. I pass it. The members are asking you,
- 24:20Speaker 1: pastor to put the news in the background during the
- 24:25Speaker 1: zoom service so they can see what's going on in
- 24:29Speaker 1: the world, why you are preaching the sermon. They won't
- 24:32Speaker 1: you to have the TV. You understand, Path, They want
- 24:36Speaker 1: the TV behind you to have the news on it
- 24:38Speaker 1: then in so we can get the news and the
- 24:41Speaker 1: service at the same time. We are not interrupted my
- 24:46Speaker 1: sermon with news. President. Two things, whether I'm zooming or not,
- 24:58Speaker 1: it's gonna be happy. The president is still ignorant, and
- 25:05Speaker 1: we'll be saying ignorant stuff throughout the year. And as
- 25:10Speaker 1: a right now, the damn coronavirus ain't going to know
- 25:14Speaker 1: whoel right, right, and which is why we zooming in
- 25:18Speaker 1: the first place. So why would you need to look
- 25:20Speaker 1: at the news as to why we zooming? Because your
- 25:23Speaker 1: ass is you can't come down hill preach YEA social
- 25:29Speaker 1: distancing is the reason we zooming now. And I get that.
- 25:34Speaker 1: But what they wanted to do, Path, it's not only
- 25:36Speaker 1: are they wanted to hear your salmon, but they also
- 25:39Speaker 1: wanted to see the news at the same time. What
- 25:42Speaker 1: what what? What? Well? What I want to do is
- 25:45Speaker 1: go and have a cigar and a glass of scotch
- 25:49Speaker 1: down in Romo, old cigar ball. But we can't do
- 25:52Speaker 1: that now because y'all fools down here in Georgia won't
- 25:56Speaker 1: wear your damn mask. And now we're right getting down again.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Then the governor fuck ass trying to sue Keisha and
- 26:06Speaker 1: Keisha trying to save everybody in life, and the damn
- 26:09Speaker 1: governor packs so far up a trump boot departs and
- 26:14Speaker 1: not to mention, damn Kanye just said, have it, have
- 26:23Speaker 1: it tough and ain't free nobody what it hit black ass.
- 26:26Speaker 1: But but that's why we're not having news behind me
- 26:30Speaker 1: while again we wait, wait, slow down, now we started happened?
- 26:40Speaker 1: What there's a lot Kanye ain't how to Kanye ain't
- 26:45Speaker 1: getting there. That's what we all want to know. The news.
- 26:50Speaker 1: How he got in the race. Anyone taking this obliterated food? Yeah,
- 27:01Speaker 1: like we already got one. Yeah. He had a campaign
- 27:09Speaker 1: rally in the Carolina to have said, Harry Tubman, he
- 27:14Speaker 1: ain't really free slave. She had him working for other
- 27:18Speaker 1: white folks, he said. And what he had all what
- 27:22Speaker 1: he said he had on the bulletproof vest or a
- 27:25Speaker 1: straight jacket. I couldn't tell which. You know he has
- 27:31Speaker 1: not had his medication an that ain't got a damn
- 27:34Speaker 1: thing to do with medicine. No stupidity, there is not
- 27:40Speaker 1: appeal for that. You should know that, a man, we
- 27:50Speaker 1: need you to talk the sister Shandra Whitnaker. Now you
- 27:54Speaker 1: need to speak with that. She shouted doing service on
- 27:57Speaker 1: Sunday on zoom. Now the proud of this pastor. He
- 28:01Speaker 1: had a very nice blow zone when we when when
- 28:04Speaker 1: servants was going out. But when she shouted, she didn't
- 28:08Speaker 1: have nothing on from the neighbor down. And that's the problem.
- 28:12Speaker 1: But you gotta have to do You got the talk
- 28:15Speaker 1: to her. I can't address this unless I have the
- 28:18Speaker 1: zoom footage. So you're saying you want to see Italy
- 28:25Speaker 1: in order to or issue a proper comment. She right there,
- 28:30Speaker 1: right there, right there is the reason we're not gonna
- 28:32Speaker 1: head the news on while I'm talking. After she shouted,
- 28:36Speaker 1: we got people, we got people shouting. Ain't got no
- 28:40Speaker 1: clothes on from nick down, No, no, from the neighbor down.
- 28:45Speaker 1: There was perfect. And then he was jo stood up
- 28:48Speaker 1: and forgot she was rooming from her house and zoomed
- 28:53Speaker 1: all just just but just zoomed her whole but just zoomed.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Did well it was it wasn't but you got you
- 29:00Speaker 1: got Kanye y. It's too much, amen, Pastor. All right, well,
- 29:11Speaker 1: thank you, pastor, thank you. Deacon coming up at the
- 29:14Speaker 1: top of the hour Entertainment and National News. Right after this,
- 29:19Speaker 1: you're listening to show in Today's entertainment news. On Saturday,
- 29:27Speaker 1: August Alsina dropped his brand new single It's called Entanglement.
- 29:32Speaker 1: It features Rick Ross. We all know, how convenient. Yeah yeah, right,
- 29:37Speaker 1: we all know entanglement. This thought to sound like a game.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Come on, Shirley, Well, he's trying to make money off
- 29:44Speaker 1: of it now, I mean, and he was hurt. He
- 29:46Speaker 1: said he was in love, all right, but check it
- 29:49Speaker 1: out though we all know. Entanglement is the term that
- 29:51Speaker 1: Jada Pinkett Smith used when she described her relationship with
- 29:55Speaker 1: August on an episode of Red Table Talk with Will Smith.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Some of the lyrics from august song include the definition
- 30:02Speaker 1: of entanglement is when you tangle in the sheets. Ricky
- 30:06Speaker 1: Rose's lyrics on the song said, um will power and
- 30:10Speaker 1: being jaded. So you know on the slide too, there's
- 30:18Speaker 1: too much a capitalists right, can be worried about what
- 30:22Speaker 1: alcoholic song? Ain't gonna make that much money? Oh you
- 30:28Speaker 1: don't think? I mean, you know, first of all, it's
- 30:31Speaker 1: hard to make money off recordings anymore because people they
- 30:35Speaker 1: steal the music. You know, nobody's streaming you know they're streaming,
- 30:40Speaker 1: but I mean how many. I'm just saying, whatever the
- 30:44Speaker 1: money you're making, is it worth that? And my answer
- 30:48Speaker 1: is a flat out note. You can try to capitalize
- 30:51Speaker 1: on something and make money. Just remember that girl that
- 30:53Speaker 1: did the little sex taping was hanging on the shower curtain.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Oh me, me, me, you know where she had. Now
- 31:02Speaker 1: she's still on loving him. Yeah, she's on loving hip
- 31:04Speaker 1: hop Atlanta. You're still doing what she was doing before
- 31:07Speaker 1: the sex tape. She's still doing that. Yeah. No, I
- 31:11Speaker 1: mean I don't care that about the office. I'm in
- 31:13Speaker 1: an entanglement myself. What what do you You've been on vacation.
- 31:17Speaker 1: You got entangled when you were on vacation. Yeah, I'm
- 31:20Speaker 1: dealing with COVID. Oh found up with you got COVID, Junior. No,
- 31:25Speaker 1: I'm dealing with it the whole thing. Tom, Just COVID.
- 31:28Speaker 1: It's just COVID. Right now, everything can't go nowhere. I
- 31:31Speaker 1: can't do nothing. That's an entanglement. Oh because we do
- 31:35Speaker 1: you house. No, we thought choose with an older woman.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Yeah that's what we thought, Junior. You were in love. No,
- 31:45Speaker 1: just just tied of this, just uh huh. Yeah, Rump
- 31:49Speaker 1: said it. Be going in a minute. So you got that. Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 1: he said when the twelve hundred cas is gonna be
- 31:58Speaker 1: down to none in two weeks, y'all say he's gonna
- 32:03Speaker 1: build a wall, gonna have clean coal, all of it stuff.
- 32:06Speaker 1: So yeah, you got all that to look forward to. Wow.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Well lies just to be say anything that comes to
- 32:18Speaker 1: his head, whether it's truly he's saying anything that he'll
- 32:21Speaker 1: think he'll get him the votes in November and make
- 32:23Speaker 1: him win again. Also on Entertainment News, Um, we're all
- 32:28Speaker 1: sending our prayer of healing out to Tamar Braxton and
- 32:31Speaker 1: the entire Braxton family. Tamar was rushed to the hospital
- 32:35Speaker 1: in Los Angeles on Thursday night after she allegedly attempted suicide.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Police and MTS yeah this is so sad responded to
- 32:44Speaker 1: a call from the Ritz Carlton Hotel and when they
- 32:47Speaker 1: found Tamar in her room unconscious, her boyfriend told them
- 32:52Speaker 1: that she may have overdosed on unspecified pills and alcohol.
- 32:56Speaker 1: He explained that she'd been upset earlier in the day
- 32:58Speaker 1: and had threatened the idea of suicide. The Braxton family
- 33:02Speaker 1: is asking friends and family and fans for their prayers
- 33:06Speaker 1: and we definitely are sitting out Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 1: we do poem for you and the whole family. Wow,
- 33:21Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Time to move on and get to
- 33:23Speaker 1: some headlines, please, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, thank
- 33:29Speaker 1: you very much, everybody. This is Anne Trip with the
- 33:31Speaker 1: news and here we go. According to reports, the coronavirus
- 33:35Speaker 1: is spreading faster and affluent. Some boy was like Orange County,
- 33:39Speaker 1: California now than in LA County. That's a switch. The
- 33:41Speaker 1: La Time says it. Over the last week, Orange County,
- 33:44Speaker 1: as well as two other suburban neighborhoods Riverside and San Bernardino,
- 33:48Speaker 1: have reported higher COVID cases per capita than LA County. However,
- 33:52Speaker 1: President Trump is downplaying the uptick in the nation's corona
- 33:55Speaker 1: infection rate, telling Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that
- 33:59Speaker 1: it's just an uptick in testing, not disease. Those cases
- 34:03Speaker 1: are young people that would heal in a day. They
- 34:05Speaker 1: have the sniffles, and we put it down as a test.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Many of them. People are going to get better, and
- 34:10Speaker 1: in many cases they're going to get better very quickly.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Cases are up because we have the best testing in
- 34:16Speaker 1: the world. That's what he says. In New York, Governor
- 34:18Speaker 1: Andrew Cromo, however, suggests the Trump administration is sick within competence,
- 34:22Speaker 1: as he puts it, House Democrats are demanding that the
- 34:25Speaker 1: Justice Department open investigation into the Trump administration's use of
- 34:30Speaker 1: force against peaceful protests in Washington, d c. And in Portland, Oregon.
- 34:34Speaker 1: They want to know why so much force had to
- 34:36Speaker 1: be used. Two white men in Indiana have been charged
- 34:39Speaker 1: in connection with an alleged July fourth assault against the
- 34:42Speaker 1: black man where he says they've tried to lynch him.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And there's the video as part of the incident of
- 34:46Speaker 1: v ox Boker happens to be he's the victim. He's
- 34:49Speaker 1: a member of the Monroe County Human Rights Commission in Bloomington, Indiana. Finally,
- 34:54Speaker 1: America lost two great men on Friday, Georgia Congressman John
- 34:58Speaker 1: Lewis and the Reverend Lardy Tindell or CT Vivian. Carsman
- 35:03Speaker 1: Lewis and revn. Vivian were in the forefront of the
- 35:05Speaker 1: legendary struggle for racial justice in this country. Both men
- 35:09Speaker 1: worked with the Reverend doctor Martin Luther King. Lewis at
- 35:12Speaker 1: the age of twenty three was the keynote speaker at
- 35:16Speaker 1: the historic March on Washington in nineteen sixty three. Two
- 35:21Speaker 1: years later, he was nearly beaten to death by state
- 35:23Speaker 1: and local police on what became known as Bloody Sunday
- 35:27Speaker 1: in Selma, Alabama. Pictures of what happened that day helped
- 35:31Speaker 1: galvanize support for the Civil Rights Act of nineteen sixty five.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Congressman Lewis. Reverend Vivian meanwhile worked alongside the Reverend King
- 35:41Speaker 1: in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and also, like Lewis,
- 35:46Speaker 1: Reverend ct Vivian was also a freedom writer, which meant
- 35:49Speaker 1: he rode the buses and sat in at races lunch counters.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Later in life, both Congressman Lewis and the Revern Vivian
- 35:55Speaker 1: were awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by the nation's
- 35:58Speaker 1: first black President, Obama. Lewis said it was like an
- 36:02Speaker 1: out of body experience. Representative John Lewis died at age
- 36:05Speaker 1: eighty on Friday after losing a battle with cancer. Reference
- 36:08Speaker 1: at Vivian died of natural causes at age ninety five.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:15Speaker 1: show Well, Kanye West was in Jay Anthony Brown's hometown,
- 36:21Speaker 1: his home state, I should say of South Carolina. He
- 36:26Speaker 1: was in South Carolina, his home state, for his first
- 36:29Speaker 1: campaign rally in North Charleston. Kanye worried security vest he
- 36:34Speaker 1: had twenty twenty shaved in his hair. He addressed issues
- 36:37Speaker 1: of gun violence and abortion. But what we couldn't believe
- 36:41Speaker 1: was what Kanye claimed about abolitionist Harriet Tubman. Take a listen, please,
- 36:46Speaker 1: So that's a Stephen move with Harriet Tubman. Well, Harriet
- 36:51Speaker 1: Tubman never actually freed the slaves. Jesus had the slave
- 36:54Speaker 1: over for all the white people. Can I just say something?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Can I just say something? We don't need this right now, Kanye.
- 37:04Speaker 1: We're trying to win a real serious race in South Carolina.
- 37:12Speaker 1: This is what I want to do right here. I
- 37:14Speaker 1: want to find the pilot who flew his ass dying
- 37:17Speaker 1: there and beat his ass. That's that's who I want.
- 37:20Speaker 1: That's how I want to find the person who gashed
- 37:22Speaker 1: the plane up. I want to be his ass too.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I want to find the limo driver who drove him
- 37:29Speaker 1: to the event, and the person who rented the event
- 37:32Speaker 1: to Kanye. They all need their ass beat right done.
- 37:39Speaker 1: His history though for him to say that this Harriet
- 37:43Speaker 1: didn't free nobody. You already said, no, he know history,
- 37:48Speaker 1: no history yesterday. The only person who can verify with Harry,
- 37:56Speaker 1: don't stop, y'all. Can I just tell y'all this, he's
- 37:59Speaker 1: already He picked out his cabinet in the birthday party,
- 38:04Speaker 1: in the birthday birthday party. Secondary of prison reform, DMX,
- 38:11Speaker 1: give me a break with this? Come on? The second
- 38:14Speaker 1: is this haircut? Second Haircuts and Salon Secretary of Haircuts
- 38:20Speaker 1: and Salons, Stephen A. Smith, Lebron Jane and Tiffany had
- 38:24Speaker 1: his what give me a break? Secondary of entertainment Monique
- 38:31Speaker 1: the new neighbor yet haven't made it yet, so yet,
- 38:38Speaker 1: Secondary tear of sound words and spelling Floyd Mayweather. That's
- 38:44Speaker 1: secondary of tax reform, sect TX reform, West Snipe. But last,
- 39:00Speaker 1: but not least, Second Trace relations, race relations Nick Cannon. No,
- 39:14Speaker 1: we're no, We're losing by a landslide. All right, thank you, Jay.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Time to switch gears again, coming up at thirty four
- 39:26Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, because that's what we do on
- 39:28Speaker 1: the show. We talk about the extraordinary, I mean extraordinary
- 39:31Speaker 1: life of service as we honor civil rights icon Representative
- 39:34Speaker 1: John Lewis. Right after this you're listening to show. Representative
- 39:41Speaker 1: John Lewis passed away on Friday. He was eighty years old.
- 39:47Speaker 1: UM Congressman Lewis's death comes several months after he revealed
- 39:52Speaker 1: that doctors were treating him for stage four pancreatic cancer.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Representative Lewis served on the House of Representatives for more
- 40:00Speaker 1: than three decades, more than thirty years Steve. According to
- 40:04Speaker 1: the Black Information Network, Representative Lewis was one of the
- 40:07Speaker 1: original freedom writers. He was the youngest keynote speaker from
- 40:11Speaker 1: the nineteen sixty three March on Washington. He was the
- 40:14Speaker 1: leader of the Bloody Sunday March in Selma, Alabama, back
- 40:18Speaker 1: in nineteen sixty five. And I want you right now
- 40:21Speaker 1: to take a listen to Reverend Jim Clyburne of South Carolina.
- 40:25Speaker 1: He's going to talk about our hero and his friend,
- 40:28Speaker 1: Congressman John Lewis. You know, miss John Lewis. But John
- 40:32Speaker 1: Lewis will be forever in our hearts, in our minds,
- 40:36Speaker 1: and yes, in our souls. I'm doing this tape doing
- 40:41Speaker 1: Sunrise because I do believe that's the sun set on
- 40:46Speaker 1: John Lewis's life. Last night the sun rises on a
- 40:50Speaker 1: movement that will never die. Thank you, John, rest in
- 40:54Speaker 1: case her brother. Wow. Yeah, you know he was who
- 41:00Speaker 1: holded his entire self to for the for the right
- 41:06Speaker 1: of justice and equality for black people. I mean, this
- 41:10Speaker 1: dude man was so well respected in Washington. Everybody respected him,
- 41:18Speaker 1: you know, with the exception of the President, who he
- 41:21Speaker 1: respects nobody. But and you know, because the things he
- 41:25Speaker 1: said to him when he confronted him about you know,
- 41:28Speaker 1: take care of your district before you come up here
- 41:30Speaker 1: talking to me about anything. That's the type of president
- 41:33Speaker 1: we have. But John Lewis Man was a cool dude.
- 41:36Speaker 1: The last time I saw him was at the beloved
- 41:38Speaker 1: event a Chick fil Avery did together in Atlanta at
- 41:43Speaker 1: the Mercedes Being Stadium and Bruno Mars performed and we
- 41:48Speaker 1: had a funny moment on stage because we were on
- 41:52Speaker 1: stage together. I brought him up to do this presentation
- 41:55Speaker 1: and this lady came up on stage who was part
- 41:57Speaker 1: of the presentation, and she's at the dancing and she
- 42:02Speaker 1: tried to cozy up under John Lewis. Dad. We're on
- 42:05Speaker 1: this big stage, and I stepped in front of him
- 42:08Speaker 1: because I was on stage with It was it. No, no, no, man,
- 42:12Speaker 1: you can't be up here dancing with no damn body.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Donald Trump see this, you your ass gonna be a tweet.
- 42:19Speaker 1: He didn't tweet about me. I ain't. I can't lose
- 42:22Speaker 1: my political career. So it's kind of a cool moment
- 42:25Speaker 1: we had. But he was always man at the forefront
- 42:29Speaker 1: of the fight for justice and equality for black people.
- 42:32Speaker 1: He didn't care how you felt about it. He didn't
- 42:35Speaker 1: care what you thought. I mean, this dude was the
- 42:38Speaker 1: real frontline soldier. And if it wasn't for John Lewis,
- 42:44Speaker 1: we are not where we are today in terms of
- 42:48Speaker 1: civil rights, the Voting Right Act, integration, housing, schooling, prison reform.
- 42:58Speaker 1: This man right here didn't miss out on no causes. Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 1: he was that guy. One of the great men that
- 43:09Speaker 1: will go down in history as one of the great
- 43:11Speaker 1: men of civil rights. That's so true. It's so sad
- 43:15Speaker 1: in a sense because he's always been there, you know
- 43:18Speaker 1: what I mean. There's never been a time when we
- 43:21Speaker 1: haven't there in civil rights and things like this that
- 43:25Speaker 1: you haven't thought about Representative Lewis, or he hasn't spoken
- 43:29Speaker 1: about it or just been, like you said, Steve on
- 43:31Speaker 1: the forefront he's always been there, you know. So his
- 43:35Speaker 1: legacy will live on forever. Yes, just like President Obama said, Charlie,
- 43:41Speaker 1: I mean to cut you off. His legacy will live
- 43:43Speaker 1: in a remarkable way. You know. His life man just
- 43:48Speaker 1: a hero basically absolutely absolutely over thirty years, right yeah,
- 43:54Speaker 1: with a great career, great yeah, and life yeah, and
- 43:59Speaker 1: just just one of the guys that as we go
- 44:03Speaker 1: into this movement, we can learn so much for the
- 44:07Speaker 1: way he handled a civil rights movement and his his
- 44:12Speaker 1: his ways and methods. It'd be great. That's what we
- 44:15Speaker 1: learn from people like that as we go forward with
- 44:17Speaker 1: this Black Lives Matter movement. That's right, Steve, And coming up,

- 51:34Speaker 1: You know what? It it's not which one gotta go? Jay?
- 51:38Speaker 1: Which one do you go to? I'm going to Whitney Houston.
- 51:43Speaker 1: But but but it's one you can't go to, right, No, no, no,
- 51:47Speaker 1: you can only go to one out of all four.
- 51:50Speaker 1: You can only go to one. I know, Whitney, Luther
- 51:56Speaker 1: heard Michael. You frustrated, You frustrated, keep saying the full
- 52:04Speaker 1: time like, ain't nobody got I'm going to Luther's first.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Uh huh. I'm going to Michael second, Uh huh. I
- 52:11Speaker 1: go to Princess third, then I go to Witness. I'm
- 52:16Speaker 1: not going to Princess at all. I don't have what time,
- 52:20Speaker 1: I had much time on my hand to be in
- 52:22Speaker 1: one damn place. I just don't. I can't. I can't
- 52:26Speaker 1: be at a concert for seven hours. I just which
- 52:29Speaker 1: one you're going to? Jay? If you could only go
- 52:31Speaker 1: to see Luther, I'm gonna go see Luth, you dog,
- 52:37Speaker 1: damn Okay curly and call it. I'm coming to you next,
- 52:41Speaker 1: Jim Man, I'm Prince was the first person that came

- 52:47Speaker 1: all right, and I've been to all I've seen all
- 52:49Speaker 1: of them. Yeah, I love them all. Yeah, call going

- 53:00Speaker 1: your boy, junior boy, you got Whitney, you got Prince,
- 53:03Speaker 1: you got Lutha, and you also have the one and
- 53:06Speaker 1: only Michael Jackson. Y'all probably not gonna like my answer,
- 53:10Speaker 1: but I'm not going because you didn't say jealousy, so
- 53:13Speaker 1: I'm not going to nothing. I don't want to whop

- 54:01Speaker 1: you here. It is berry letta thank you nephew's subject.
- 54:05Speaker 1: I love my man, but I'm cool with his ex
- 54:08Speaker 1: wife too, Dear Stephen Shirley. I feel like I already
- 54:12Speaker 1: know my answer, but I want your advice anyway. My
- 54:15Speaker 1: partner and I have been dating for seven years, yes seven.
- 54:20Speaker 1: We are both divorced and have adult children. He is
- 54:23Speaker 1: sixty three and I am forty nine. His ex wife
- 54:27Speaker 1: and I have become good friends, and she has told
- 54:29Speaker 1: me that he is a good man, but a terrible husband.
- 54:33Speaker 1: We live in a big, beautiful home, but it's in
- 54:35Speaker 1: his name only. He treats me like a queen in
- 54:38Speaker 1: front of others, but behind closed doors, he's a different man.
- 54:42Speaker 1: His ex wife cheated on him because he was gone
- 54:45Speaker 1: a lot as a fireman. He told me he took
- 54:47Speaker 1: extra shifts to take care of his family, but his
- 54:50Speaker 1: ex wife said all of his extra shifts were with
- 54:53Speaker 1: women all over town. I believe what his ex wife
- 54:57Speaker 1: tells me about him, and he can't stand that we're close.
- 55:01Speaker 1: I have continued to try to work it out with him,
- 55:03Speaker 1: and we are finally talking about marriage. There are only
- 55:07Speaker 1: so many issues with him. There are so many issues
- 55:10Speaker 1: with him. He calls his ex wife a garden tool,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and he gets upset if I try to defend her.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He says I have misplaced loyalty. Then there is the
- 55:19Speaker 1: issue of him being a Trump supporter, and he has
- 55:22Speaker 1: contributed to his campaign several times. Our finances are separate,
- 55:28Speaker 1: so I'm not concerned with what he does with his money,
- 55:30Speaker 1: but I don't know how he can support the current president.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I will be fifty soon and I want to be
- 55:36Speaker 1: sure I am not wasting time with this guy. I
- 55:39Speaker 1: hate to uproot and start over, so please help me.
- 55:43Speaker 1: We have great sex and he is a great father
- 55:45Speaker 1: to his children. Is that enough to stick it out
- 55:47Speaker 1: another seven years to make this relationship work? Okay? This
- 55:53Speaker 1: letter is about a whole lot of stuff. I mean,
- 55:55Speaker 1: it's a lot dating for seven years, friends with his
- 55:59Speaker 1: ex wife, who says he's a good man, terrible husband,
- 56:01Speaker 1: Trump supporter. All those things you know, stick out to
- 56:04Speaker 1: me in the letter. But like I said, it's a
- 56:07Speaker 1: lot going on in this letter. I'm assuming you want
- 56:12Speaker 1: to marry him, but you know, why have you been
- 56:16Speaker 1: with him this long seven years without a ring or anything?
- 56:21Speaker 1: Are you still trying to figure it out? Are you
- 56:25Speaker 1: still trying to do that? I think it depends on
- 56:28Speaker 1: who you believe. Do you believe his ex wife because
- 56:31Speaker 1: she does know a lot, but she did her dirt too,
- 56:35Speaker 1: so can you really trust her? Is she trying to
- 56:37Speaker 1: get back in there. I'm sure that he doesn't want
- 56:43Speaker 1: you guys to be friends. I'm sure about that because
- 56:46Speaker 1: of what she could still reveal to you about him.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I mean, you know, and do you love this guy?
- 56:52Speaker 1: Do you love him? Never want to hear you mention that.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I don't really hear that. In the letter you say
- 56:58Speaker 1: he's a Trump supporter. That bothers you. Um, you know,
- 57:02Speaker 1: behind closed doors, he treats you differently than he does
- 57:06Speaker 1: in front of people. In front of people, he treats
- 57:07Speaker 1: you like a queen. That bothers you. Um. The good
- 57:11Speaker 1: things you do have to say about him or not many?
- 57:14Speaker 1: You said, he's a great dad and the sex is
- 57:16Speaker 1: great And you want to know if this is enough? Well?
- 57:19Speaker 1: Is it? Is it? To you? Just these two things?
- 57:21Speaker 1: And um? I'm gonna tell you, I don't think so.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I think you need a lot more to make a
- 57:26Speaker 1: good marriage stick and a good marriage work. So um,
- 57:30Speaker 1: I think you know you asked the question, should you
- 57:32Speaker 1: spend another seven years with this guy? It doesn't look
- 57:35Speaker 1: like it so far. I would have to say no, Steve,
- 57:40Speaker 1: I don't really see the redeeming qualities in here. I don't.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I don't know what why why you write us? You're
- 57:53Speaker 1: dating this guy seven years, he's sixty three, forty nine.
- 57:58Speaker 1: You don't became cool his ex wife already. This is
- 58:03Speaker 1: starting to not smell good. She told you that he's
- 58:07Speaker 1: a good man but a terrible husband. Okay, we live
- 58:12Speaker 1: in a big, beautiful home, but it's in his name only. Well,
- 58:19Speaker 1: y'all just been dating for seven years? What? What? Who? Who? Name?
- 58:25Speaker 1: You wanted to be in? If I'm dating a chick
- 58:30Speaker 1: for seven years, I'm not putting her name on my
- 58:32Speaker 1: house for what. We're not married, all right, but keep
- 58:39Speaker 1: that in mind. Okay, Now he treats you like a queen,
- 58:43Speaker 1: but because closed doors, he's a different man. So I
- 58:46Speaker 1: don't know if he's mistreating you. I didn't quite get
- 58:49Speaker 1: that his ex wife cheated on him because he was
- 58:51Speaker 1: gone a lot as a fireman. So I guess she
- 58:54Speaker 1: told you that hump, So she cheated, since y'all cool,
- 58:58Speaker 1: she told me she cheated because he was going the
- 59:00Speaker 1: lives of fire. He told me he took extra shift
- 59:03Speaker 1: to take care of his family. But his ex wife
- 59:05Speaker 1: said all of his extra shifts were with women all
- 59:08Speaker 1: over town. I believe what his ex wife tells me
- 59:12Speaker 1: about him. Really, didn't you just say she cheated on him?
- 59:19Speaker 1: And now all his extra shifts was with women? Well, this,
- 59:24Speaker 1: let me ask you a question. This big beautiful home
- 59:28Speaker 1: that he got, all his extra shifts was with women?
- 59:35Speaker 1: How he get the big ass house? I mean here,
- 59:39Speaker 1: fire me, you say, which is a great job, great career,
- 59:43Speaker 1: a lot of great people fire fire people first, right,
- 59:48Speaker 1: but he had to work some extra overtime to get
- 59:51Speaker 1: this big beautiful house you're talking about. But you still
- 59:54Speaker 1: want to believe her? Hind this story right here, this
- 59:58Speaker 1: story state, Yeah, you know, and he and he can't
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: stand at y'all close, Yeah, because she's telling everything. It's
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: his past. Yeah, all right, hang on Steve. Part two?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: All right, all right, coming up, we'll have part two
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the hour. Today's subjects of the Strawberry letter I love
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: my man, but I'm cool with his ex wife too.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: morning show, all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters. Subject I love my man, but I'm cool
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: with his ex wife too, which is none but trouble.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: He sixes you forty nine. You're both to boys, You
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: got beautiful kids, adult kids. Mr Ex. His ex wife
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: has told you he's good man, but to tell her husband,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: you all live in a big, beautiful home that he's bought.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: He treats you like a queen in front of other people,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: but behind closed doors he's different. His ex wife cheated
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: on him because he was going all the time working
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: as a fireman. He told you he took extra shift
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: take care of the family, but the ex wife said
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: all the extra shift women all over town. My question became,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: how to hell he get the big ass house, did it? See? Now,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: that's a working man. As a hard working man, somebody
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: got to work to get a big, beautiful home. All right,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: And you believe everything the ex wife tell you I'm
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: curious about that, and he can't stand that you all
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: are close. I have continued to try to work it
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: out with him, and we're finally talking about marriage. You're
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: trying to work out what with him? See I don't,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: I don't. I didn't see what you were trying to
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: work anything out. The only thing you keep doing is
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: going on what this woman and told you that he's
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: a good man but a terrible husband. So and you
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: said he's different behind closed door. So I don't know
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: what it is you're trying to work it out, So
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: me and Shirley can't get your advice on that. He
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: calls his ex wife a garden tool, and he gets
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: upset if I try to defend it. He says, you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: have misplaced loyalties. Well you do, you do? That's a
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: true statement. Now. The last thing he's being that you
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: have in trouble with he's a Trump supporter. Now that's
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: where I got to get off this as swell this
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: whole thing, just with the hell. I don't really give
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: a damn how many poles he didn't slid down as
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: a fire man. I don't care how many houses he
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: didn't build. I don't really give a damn what this
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: woman say? His man did? He a hard working man.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: He didn't built a big, beautiful house you live and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I got all that, but his ass. It's given money
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: to the Trump campaign. Right there, I'm done with his ass.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I don't know him. I don't see how you can
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: live in the same house. She said that he has
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: contributed to his campaign several times. Our finances are separate,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: so I'm not concerned with what he does with his money.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I would y'all not gonna be able to live together.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: You're not gonna be able to marry this Trump support.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I can't tell you that right now. The fallout fitting, Yeah,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I mean, we're all day, we're sitting up here. We

- 1:03:30Speaker 1: we got a Muslim band. We didn't build a wall,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: we didn't kill the Docker program. You don't like black
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: lives matters. You want to keep the Confederate flag. He
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: lucky the Trump supporter. I don't know. Come on, lady,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: this this is all anyway. I will be fifty soon
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: and I want to make sure I'm not wasting time
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: with this guy. It just sounds like a huge waste
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to me. Yeah, and I have a solution. I hate
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to uproot and start over, so please help me. We
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: have great sex and he's a great father to his children.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Is that enough to stick it out another seven years?
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Are you doing this in seven year increments? Because I
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: thought you said I was trying to get mad, so
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you're trying to hang it out for seven moment. But
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I have a solution to this right here? What is it,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Steve Teller? I think you should start seeing his ex wife.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Huh wait, wait, you're just friends right now? Oh don't
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: y'all always say that's how the best relationship start as friends?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: We do well, y'all friends, y'all love each other. She
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: trying She either trying to get him back or get
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you with all these stories body exactly one or the two.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: So why don't you just start seeing her? He's gonna
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: really hate her, then he doesn't want Yeah, he gonna
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: really hate y'all live. But you believe everything your girlfriend
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: that the woman tells you about it. I don't. I
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: don't see what you want with him, especially the Trump
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: supported mess. I got back to you. I'm back. I'm
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: my ass is out. Yeah, if I was dating a woman,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: and a woman told me I have something to share
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: with you. I'm a Trump supporter. How do you digest
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I'm not digesting that ordered meal we at right a
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: matter of fact, I'm gonna walk out whatever campaign money
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you're fit to send me him and pay for that
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: damn food because I'm in the car. Yeah, what about
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I'm in the car driving off. She's a Trump supporter.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: But the sex is really really, really good. Great, And
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: how you do that? Yeah? Yeah, because Kelly and Conway,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: who works for the president and her husband, you know,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: their opposite. Her husband does not. Yeah, and Kelly Anne does.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I mean, and they're married. She really really finds and
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: the sex is great and the sex is great. Well,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I come over there, but I had to leave right

- 1:07:31Speaker 1: you wouldn't want to be forty two nor more. Hell no, okay, okay,

- 1:07:54Speaker 1: called Junior's Birthday Palm. These titles be deep. I don't
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: even I had nothing else at the time. Here we go.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Yesterday was my birthday, and I'm just glad to say
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the man upstairs allowed me to be here on earth.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Just one more day. Yesterday was my birthday. I want
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: to thank y'all for the text. So let's hope this
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: virus is gone so we can do better for the
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: next Did I say yesterday was my birthday? Yeah? In
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: case you didn't know, well, I'm saying it again on
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: this morning show. Yesterday was my birthday, and to celebrate.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: It's not too late to give a gift or even
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: a birthday cake. Did I forget to mention yesterday was

- 1:09:02Speaker 1: for that night I was mate. Oh and one more
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: thing yesterday with my birthday, dull dog that brought tears

- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Only to your eyes? What nobody while you enjoyed that?
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Thank you, Happy birthday, Junior. Coming up in the top
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: of the hour, it was good. President Trump claims COVID
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: nineteen is coming under control. Is Florida's cases surge? What
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: is going on? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: You're listening to show, President Trump pledged that the coronavirus
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: was coming under control. On Sunday, Florida reported over twelve
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: thousand new cases of COVID nineteen, the fifth day in
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: a row the state has announced over ten thousand new infections.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: The virus has claimed over Yeah, over what he's saying
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: we did though, Yeah, he said it. Virus has claimed
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: over one hundred and forty thousand US lives total since
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: the pandemic started, and Florida, California, Texas, and other southern
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: and western states shatter records every single day. During an
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: interview on yesterday with Chris Wallace from Fox News, the
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: President talked about the current state of the virus. Take
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: a listen, Aaron, Russia and the European Union has us
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: on a travel band. Yeah, I think what we'll do well,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: we have them on a travel band. To Chris, I
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: closed them off. If you remember, I was the one
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: that did the European Union very early. But when you
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: talk about mortality rates, I think it's the opposite. I
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: think we have one of the lowest mortality rates in
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: the world. Week, Well, we're going to take we had
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: nine hundred deaths on a single day. We will take
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: this week. Ready, do you contribute? Please get me the
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: mortality rate. Kayley's right here. I heard we have one
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: of the lowest, maybe the lowest mortality rate anywhere in
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: the world. You have the numbers, plush because I heard
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: we had the best mortality rights out number number one mortality. Right.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I hope you showed this in Eric because it shows
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: what fake Okay really really didn't country. Yeah, he's just
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: gonna lie to the end. He just gonna lie all
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: the way to the end. Well, you know, like the
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: UK leader said, you cannot lie and think your lies
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: can resolve this issue because just by making false claims
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: with the number one, we have lower's mortality. Kelly, can
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I get those numbers? Thinks? No, Man, it's not fake news,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: it's not This is on Fox. This is on Fox
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: because Fox is affected by this. The coronavirus is from Fox.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: The coronavirus is Chuck Willery. You can get on there,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: we all you want. And now sad to say his
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: son has it. I don't want that. I don't wish
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: that on nobody. But now he's coming around. He said, Wow,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: this is real because it's not a hoax. It's very
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: very real, you know, in the beginning, I think all
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: of us we are we're hearing about the coronavirus. Now
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: all of us know someone who has had it. All
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: of us know someone first year, which we were just
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: hearing the reports. But now all of us know someone
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: who's has it or has had it. Yes, a classmate
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: of mine from Kent State passed this week ADALTA from COVID.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Crazy man. Despite these record levels of new cases nationwide,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the Trump administration is still pushing for schools to reopen
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: in a few weeks and resisting a federal mandate to
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: wear masks in public. I'm worried. I'm worried about school.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on one second. As a matter of fact,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: her name was fake Calahan. Oh, she went to Kent
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: State with us, and she passed us. She was assist.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I want to assist from Delta Sigma, thetum Fake Calihan
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: passed from from COVID. So you know, like I said,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: we all know somebody go ahead to it. Yeah, No,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I'm just I'm worried about school, Steve, I'm worried about
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: in August. You know, my I have a my son
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: is nine, my daughter is is uh well, by then,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: she'll fifteen, sixteen years old, and it's time for them
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: to go to school. And I don't know what to do.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm supposed to keep my kids
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: home and they do it via zoom, or do I
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: let my kids go to school. I don't know what
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: to do. Man. I'm I'm just a parent, but I'm
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I'm so concerned about their health and their well being.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: And I don't know, just like all the parents that
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: are listening right yeah, I do not know what I'm
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: supposed to do right now. Well, you're amosed to keep
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: your children safe and help is what you're supposed to
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: one day? Yeah, all right? Coming up more of today's
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, right after this you're listening to show,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: all right. So earlier we talked about the loss in
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: the passing of civil rights icon Congressman John Lewis and
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: his extraordinary life of service. Well, we also want to
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: offer our condolences to our whu R FM family in Washington,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: d C. On the passing of w h u R
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: family member Patrick Ellis. Now Patrick Ellis worked with w
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: h u R since the early nineteen seventies and he hosted, Yeah,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the number one rated Sunday morning gospel show. It's called
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Gospel Spirit. Patrick was a public affairs director and throughout
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: his tenure at w h u R he spearheaded many
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: impactful community initiatives. And again we say our condolence is
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: going out to the staff at w h u R
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: FM and the entire family of mister Patrick Ellis. Wow,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: true legends. Man. Yeah, man, this has been some kind
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: of year. Yeah, and you know what, you know what's
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: crazy about it? Call it it ain't over. We still
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: don't know what else has got left. I hope there's
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: no more drama in this year with other teams. Well,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: we started, we started this year losing Kobe. We lost
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant at the beginning of this year. Then we
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: got COVID, and then we got bees something coming from Africa.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: It just keeps going on and on. You know, it
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: don't stop. Man, Like I told my children, this ain't
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: the worst year I've ever had. All Right, And on
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: that note, Steve, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Morning Show and some trending news coming up at thirty
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour right after this you're listening.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Representative John Lewis passed away on Friday. He was eighty
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: years old. Congressman Lewis's death comes several months after he
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: revealed that doctors were treating him for a Stage four
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: pancreatic cancer. Representative Lewis served on the House of Representatives
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: for more than three decades, more than thirty years Steve.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: According to the Black Information Network, Representative Lewis was one
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: of the original freedom writers. He was the youngest keynote
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: speaker from the nineteen sixty three March on Washington. He
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: was a leader of the Bloody Sunday March in Selma, Alabama,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: back in nineteen sixty five. And I want you right
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: now to take a listen to Reverend Jim Clyburn of
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: South Carolina. He's going to talk about our hero and
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: his friend, Congressman John Lewis. You're gonna miss John Lewis,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: but John Lewis will be forever in our hearts, in
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: our minds, and yes, in our souls. I'm doing this
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: tape doing Sunrise because I do believe that's the sun
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: set on John Lewis's life. Last night, the sun rises
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: on a movement that will never die. Thank you, John,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Rest in peace her brother. Wow. Yeah, you know he
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: was who devoted his entire self for the for the
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: right of justice and equality for black people. I mean,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: this dude man was so well respected in Washington. Everybody
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: respected him, you know, with the exception of the President,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: who he respects. Nobody. John lewis Man was a cool dude.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: The last time I saw him was at the beloved
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: event a Chick fil A we did together in Atlanta
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: at the Mercedes ben Stadium and Bruno Mars performed and
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: we had a funny moment on stage and this lady
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: came up on stage who was part of the presentation,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: and she started dancing and I stepped in front of
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: him because I was on stage. Where was it. No, no, no, man,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: you can't be up here dancing with no damn body.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Donald Trump see this, Your ass gonna be a tweet.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: So it's kind of a cool moment we had. But
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: he was always man at the forefront of the fight
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: for justice and equality for black people. He didn't care
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: how you felt about it, He didn't care what you thought.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I mean, this dude was the real frontline soldier. And
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: if it wasn't for John Lewis, we are not where
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: we are today in terms of civil rights, the Voting
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Right Act, in Gracian housing, schooling, prison reform. This man
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: right here didn't miss out on no causes. Yeah he
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: was that guy. All right? Coming up, it is our
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: last break of the day. Bring yours up, all right?
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: And coming up at forty nine minutes after the one
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey is here with some closing remarks
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show all right, here
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: we are our last break of the day on this Monday.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: It's been a good day. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's been
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: a good day. Every day. What a day? Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you can let us have it with Hey, you know,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: um something on your mind. Well, you know, I just
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: kind of reiterate to make sure that we get focused here.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: The election is in November, and we need to get focused.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: We need to make sure that all of us are
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: registered voters, and that everyone in our family that is
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: of age is a registered voter. And then we need
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to prepare to vote early. And if you don't vote early,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: we have to make sure we show up to vote
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: on that day. This is probably one of the most
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: important elections of our lifetime. I think the election of
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Barack Obama was one of the life time achievements for
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: me personally and for a lot of us, because I
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: personally thought I would never live to see the day
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: that a black man would be president of this country.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I was wrong. God is good. But this election right
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: here is so important for us because we are we're
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: in a time where this Black Lives Matter movement can
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: really take form. And the reason I'm saying that is
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: because first of all, we have more than just black
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: people fighting this cause right now. I went online to
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Nike the other day and the first thing that popped
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: up was Black Lives Matter. I'm watching a lot of
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: companies pay attention to it now talk about it. And
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: now it's the time to do something about this thing.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: This is the wrong that can be right it over
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: a long time. Now. I'm not hearing much in terms
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: of government policy right now, but I see a lot
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: of corporations trying to fix some things. And so this
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: this movement has really taken hold, and I really to
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: appreciate the young people's efforts out there. With that being said,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: we've got to make sure that we get the job
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: done in November, that we've cast our votes, that we
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: make ourselves heard, that we put a stamp on the
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Black Lives movement, we put a seal of approval on
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: the Black Lives Matter movement, because black lives matter most
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: when we have to be counted. Black lives matter most
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: when we show that we can change the direction of
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: an election. So we've got to get this thing done,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and we got to be focused, y'all. None of this foolishness.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: This Kanye running for president in twenty twenty making statements
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: about Harriet Tubman didn't really free slave, she had him
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: working for other white people. This type of these things.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Are we kidding me? We ain't had We don't have
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: time for this, We really don't. J Anthony Brown said
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: it best off the air. We were talking. We ain't
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: got time for this man. This is a serious election
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: coming up in November. We have a president that is
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: so divisive, and he figured since he's not gonna get
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: the black vote, he's gonna make sure he gets every
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: divisive white vote that he can, so he uses rhetoric
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: that incites his base. He's saying that black lives matter
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: in the Confederate flag is freedom of speech. He's not
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: saying anything one way or the other. He doesn't see
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: how we allowing these people to erase our history, our history.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: See this history that Donald Trump is talking about. It's
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: what his hat was about in the beginning, that make
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: America great again. His view of making America great again
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: goes back to a time period it just wasn't good
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: for us. But he's comfortable with that, and that's what
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: he's trying to do. Now. This is what he's trying
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: to do to get reelected. If you let him win
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: again and he doesn't have to concern himself with being reelected, Wow,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: what measures would he take? I mean, he's done some
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: astonishing things as a president, sitting on his desk, posing
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: behind some beings, I mean, stuff that you've never seen
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: happening in the White House, negative comments about people, directly
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: people's appearance. He's always lashing out as some African American,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: whether it's the movement, whether it's Colin Kaepernick, whether it's
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the athlete's kneeling. But it's always directed as something we're
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: doing because he knows how to stare up his base.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: We've got to get serious about this in election, y'all.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna stop. I'm not gonna stop until everybody says,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you know what, He's right, We have to vote. We've
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: said it before, over and over and over again. But y'all,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: I can't even tell you how important this is. This
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: is so important for us as a people, because I'm
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: telling you, we can send a message. See the way
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: they lobby for our votes and then get in there
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: and do nothing. See but this time though, they think
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: we're gonna be disinterested in the election, but we're gonna
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: fool them. We are very interested in this election. We
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: are tired of you never having said anything about Aubrey's death.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: You didn't say anything about George Floyd's death. You didn't
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: say anything about Eric Gardener. You haven't said anything to
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: make the oppressed people in this country feel any better.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: You haven't said one thing to make black people think
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: that you even would consider anything that they're possibly feeling
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: because you don't. And since you don't, we don't need them.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: And we're gonna prove it in November. Watch watch I
