County prohibits bicycles on section of Landfill Road
The Box Elder County Commission approved an ordinance Wednesday prohibiting bicycles on part of Landfill Road because of safety concerns involving large trucks and trailers. The restriction begins at the lower gate, where 6800 North turns uphill, and continues toward the landfill. Karson Riser, the county’s landfill operations supervisor, said the road has limited shoulder space and carries large trucks and trailers in both directions.
