- 0:01Speaker 1: So we've got a lot to chat about on today's show,
- 0:03Speaker 1: and I want to run this with you. First of all,
- 0:06Speaker 1: you're going to get to just enjoy this as much
- 0:08Speaker 1: as I did when I read the headline. George Stepanopolis
- 0:11Speaker 1: and ABC News are being forced to apologize to Donald
- 0:14Speaker 1: Trump and pay fifteen million to settle a defamation lawsuit
- 0:20Speaker 1: on top of paying a million dollars in Trump's legal fees,
- 0:23Speaker 1: bringing the grand total sixteen million. That's amazing. Now here's
- 0:27Speaker 1: the part that's even more incredible than that. The money
- 0:30Speaker 1: is going to be given to the Trump Library. We're
- 0:32Speaker 1: also going to talk about today the radical left is
- 0:37Speaker 1: normalizing the either attempted assassinations on people like Donald Trump
- 0:43Speaker 1: or the killing of people they disagree with this now,
- 0:47Speaker 1: meaning the CEO of the healthcare company, and it is
- 0:52Speaker 1: top level people in the Democratic Party who are now
- 0:55Speaker 1: normalizing this activity saying, well, we should understand why it's happening.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I'm going to play that for you also coming up
- 1:01Speaker 1: in a moment, and Democrats are also now saying that
- 1:07Speaker 1: the best political move that may have given Donald Trump
- 1:10Speaker 1: the White House was him sending or his allies I
- 1:14Speaker 1: should say, technically sending illegal immigrants all over the country
- 1:18Speaker 1: on buses to where they wanted to go, whether it
- 1:20Speaker 1: was New York City, Martha's Vineyard, the list goes.
- 1:22Speaker 2: On and on.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Now I am literally traveling up to New York on
- 1:27Speaker 1: a very early flight. So I decided to do a
- 1:30Speaker 1: combo show with my dear friend, Senator Ted Cruz. As
- 1:35Speaker 1: you know, I coosed a podcast in vertict with Ted Cruz,
- 1:38Speaker 1: and I wanted us to do this on these topics.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And that is exactly what you're going to hear today,
- 1:42Speaker 1: because not only does Donald Trump have allies in the
- 1:46Speaker 1: Senate who are trying to protect and defend him as
- 1:48Speaker 1: he's getting into office, but he has allies like Senator
- 1:51Speaker 1: Cruz are trying to protect him and others from the
- 1:54Speaker 1: anarchy of the left, especially when it comes to this
- 1:57Speaker 1: just normalizing assassinating anybody you don't like. So with that
- 2:01Speaker 1: being said, we're gonna start with that big first story
- 2:04Speaker 1: about ABC News. Here is my conversation with Center Tech
- 2:08Speaker 1: Cruz about it. Center, I can't believe that I'm actually
- 2:11Speaker 1: getting to say this because it's just so funny, but
- 2:14Speaker 1: it's real. The President of the United States elect, Donald
- 2:18Speaker 1: Trump is going to get a an apology from ABC
- 2:23Speaker 1: News and George Stepanopolis on top of the fact they're
- 2:26Speaker 1: now forced to pay fifteen million dollars to settle a
- 2:31Speaker 1: defamation lawsuit, the fact Lady's singing the pigs are flying,
- 2:35Speaker 1: Hell's freezing over.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It is truly astonishing. ABC News apologizing to Donald Trump
- 2:41Speaker 3: and ABC News writing a fifteen million dollar check to
- 2:46Speaker 3: Trump's presidential library, all to settle a defamation case because
- 2:50Speaker 3: George Stephanopolis went on National TV and defamed Donald Trump
- 2:54Speaker 3: and they're writing a check because of it. And if
- 2:56Speaker 3: you never thought it would happen, well it is. We
- 2:58Speaker 3: are in a brave, an extraordinary new world. We're going
- 3:01Speaker 3: to break it down and what it means. We're also
- 3:03Speaker 3: going to go back to the amazing and really sad
- 3:07Speaker 3: spectacle of leftist celebrating the cold blooded murder of a
- 3:12Speaker 3: healthcare CEO Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders aoc all gleefully celebrating
- 3:19Speaker 3: it and sadly encouraging more. We're going to break that
- 3:21Speaker 3: down as well. And finally, we're going to talk about
- 3:24Speaker 3: what may have been the single most decisive factor in
- 3:28Speaker 3: the twenty twenty four election, the left's utter hypocrisy on
- 3:33Speaker 3: the border and the serious suffering that open borders, cause
- 3:38Speaker 3: we're going to break down that hypocrisy and what may
- 3:40Speaker 3: have turned the entire election, all of that on today's verdict.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really going to be a good one.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I want to tell you about our friends over Patriot
- 3:47Speaker 1: Mobile real quick. And if you have a cell phone,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and your cell phone is a Big Mobile, then you
- 3:52Speaker 1: need to know where your money's going. Big Mobile has
- 3:54Speaker 1: been giving big donations to democratic causes, candidates and organizations.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Radical organizations, including organizations that are fighting to defund the police,
- 4:03Speaker 1: organizations that are fighting to abort babies and even paying
- 4:07Speaker 1: for abortion on demand. If you don't want your money
- 4:10Speaker 1: going there, then you can switch now to Patriot Mobile.
- 4:13Speaker 2: They've been doing this for over a decade.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And Patriot Mobile not only are they on the front
- 4:18Speaker 1: lines fighting for your First and Second Amendment rights, but
- 4:21Speaker 1: they also take a part of your bill every month
- 4:23Speaker 1: and they give it back to the organizations they are
- 4:25Speaker 1: doing exactly that. They give it to organizations they are
- 4:28Speaker 1: fighting to protect the sanctity of life, and organizations that
- 4:31Speaker 1: support and defend our military, our first responders, and our
- 4:35Speaker 1: wounded warrior heroes.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That's right.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Every time you make a call, every time you send
- 4:39Speaker 1: a text, every time you pay your bill, you're actually
- 4:42Speaker 1: proudly sending up for the values you believe in. So
- 4:45Speaker 1: take a stand for conservative causes and put America first.
- 4:49Speaker 1: By switching to Patriot Mobile today, you'll get the same
- 4:53Speaker 1: nationwide coverage is the big providers because Patriot Mobile operates
- 4:56Speaker 1: across all three major networks, plus they the service with

- 5:31Speaker 1: verdict Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict or nine seven
- 5:34Speaker 1: to two Patriot and get a free month of service.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Use the offer code vertict. So let's talk about how
- 5:39Speaker 1: all this started from the very beginning for people that
- 5:43Speaker 1: may not have been following this, because this was something
- 5:45Speaker 1: that was said by George Stepanopolis on ABC News, and
- 5:49Speaker 1: they realize, I think pretty quick, okay, we screwed up
- 5:52Speaker 1: here because Trump won.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So now we got to deal with the consequences of this.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I'm not sure they would have done it the same
- 5:58Speaker 1: way if we would have lost, but obviously ABC News
- 6:01Speaker 1: now saying yeah, all right, we're going to admit that
- 6:03Speaker 1: we did something that was really stupid.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Well, this stems back to March of twenty twenty four,
- 6:09Speaker 3: and in particular March tenth on ABC News with George Stefanopolis,
- 6:13Speaker 3: and as part of this settlement, ABC News wrote a
- 6:18Speaker 3: committed to write a fifteen million dollar check a charitable
- 6:21Speaker 3: contribution to Trump's presidential library, and also to pay a
- 6:26Speaker 3: million dollars in Trump's lawyer's fees. So, all told, sixteen
- 6:29Speaker 3: million dollars is what ABC is out of pocket. And
- 6:32Speaker 3: they also had to apologize. They had to issue a
- 6:35Speaker 3: statement of quote regret, and so they appended to the
- 6:39Speaker 3: story from the March tenth online article the following statement
- 6:43Speaker 3: quote ABC News and George Stefanopolis regret statements regarding President
- 6:48Speaker 3: Donald J. Trump made during an interview by George Stefanopolis
- 6:52Speaker 3: with representative Nancy Mace on ABC's This Week on March tenth,
- 6:56Speaker 3: twenty twenty four. And so, what were the statements that
- 7:00Speaker 3: that caused this? Well, George Stephanopolis repeatedly said Trump was
- 7:04Speaker 3: quote liable for rape and was found liable for rape
- 7:09Speaker 3: in the civil case in New York. And Nancy Mace
- 7:12Speaker 3: was was on with Stephanopolis, and Stephanopolis played a clip
- 7:16Speaker 3: of Mace discussing being a victim of rape, and then
- 7:20Speaker 3: Stephanophilis asked her, quote, how do you square your endorsement
- 7:24Speaker 3: of Donald Trump with the testimony we just saw? Quote,
- 7:28Speaker 3: You've endorsed Donald Trump for president. Judges and two separate
- 7:32Speaker 3: juries have found him liable for rape and for defaming
- 7:36Speaker 3: the victim of that rape. And he was referencing the
- 7:40Speaker 3: lawsuit by Jene Carroll. Stephanopoulos repeated that claim ten times.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Ten times. He repeated that the jury has determined that
- 7:51Speaker 3: Trump was liable for rape. What the jury in fact
- 7:55Speaker 3: determined is that they found that that that he was
- 7:58Speaker 3: not liable for rape, but rather a separate crime under
- 8:02Speaker 3: New York law called sexual abuse, and Trump sued ABC News,
- 8:07Speaker 3: and Trump sued Stephanopolis for Stephanopolis repeatedly saying a jury
- 8:11Speaker 3: had found he was liable for rape when they explicitly
- 8:13Speaker 3: found he was not liable for rape. And at the
- 8:17Speaker 3: end of the day, this settlement is all about that.
- 8:22Speaker 3: That it is It is been black letter law for
- 8:25Speaker 3: a long time that when you falsely accused someone of
- 8:28Speaker 3: a felony, that that that is defamation. And ABC News
- 8:34Speaker 3: just repeatedly said he was liable for rape, liable for rape,
- 8:37Speaker 3: that's what the jury found. That's what the jury found.
- 8:38Speaker 3: And there was one minor problem. It wasn't true. And
- 8:42Speaker 3: so you know, you mentioned they settled this because Trump won.
- 8:46Speaker 3: It's true that Trump won, and it's true they settled this,
- 8:49Speaker 3: but I guarantee you their lawyers were telling them, listen
- 8:52Speaker 3: when you say over and over again, a jury has
- 8:54Speaker 3: find found someone guilty of a felony and the jury
- 8:57Speaker 3: found the opposite, that's information. And you're going to end
- 9:01Speaker 3: up writing a much bigger check if you don't settle
- 9:05Speaker 3: this this lawsuit, and and and it happened right after
- 9:09Speaker 3: the magistrate judge ordered both Trump and Stephanopolis on Friday
- 9:14Speaker 3: to sit for depositions next week, uh and and answer
- 9:18Speaker 3: questions under oath. And I think ABC realized they were
- 9:21Speaker 3: going to have to sit George Stephanopolis down, and Trump's
- 9:25Speaker 3: lawyers were going to get to ask him, Okay, did
- 9:28Speaker 3: the jury find him liable for rape?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yes?
- 9:30Speaker 4: Or no?
- 9:30Speaker 3: And Stephanopolis would be forced to say no, did you
- 9:33Speaker 3: say that the jury found him liable for rape? And
- 9:35Speaker 3: Stephanopolis would have to be forced to say yes, did
- 9:40Speaker 3: you say ten separate times on National TV the jury
- 9:43Speaker 3: found him liable for rape? And Stephanopolis would grumble a
- 9:46Speaker 3: lot of times and be forced to say yes. And
- 9:50Speaker 3: here here's the interesting question there. They were going to
- 9:53Speaker 3: ask him, did you know at the time that you
- 9:55Speaker 3: said ten separate times the jury found him liable for
- 9:57Speaker 3: rape that the jury exploited had found him not liable
- 10:02Speaker 3: for rape? And I don't know how Stephanopolis would answer that.
- 10:05Speaker 3: My guess is he'd be forced to say yes. But
- 10:08Speaker 3: he was either deliberately lying or he was utterly indifferent
- 10:14Speaker 3: to what the truth or falsity of what he was
- 10:15Speaker 3: saying is. Either way, it is a real problem. And
- 10:19Speaker 3: I think they looked at that and they probably had
- 10:21Speaker 3: started prepping him for that deposition and realized there is
- 10:25Speaker 3: no good answer for him to give, because look, they
- 10:28Speaker 3: just hate Trump and so they were happy to say
- 10:30Speaker 3: it. It sounds much more sensationialistic to say that, and truth
- 10:34Speaker 3: be damned. I think that's why they ended up writing
- 10:36Speaker 3: the check.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So can we just talk about the humor of this
- 10:39Speaker 1: for a second, the fact that ABC News is going
- 10:42Speaker 1: to have to write a check for fifteen million dollars
- 10:44Speaker 1: to the Trump Presidential Library, Like, do you name part
- 10:48Speaker 1: of the library the ABC Settlement Center.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I mean, this is amazing, It is truly astonishing.
- 10:55Speaker 3: And by the way, there's some lefty voices on Twitter saying, oh,
- 11:00Speaker 3: free speech is dead. Look, you need to understand, defamation
- 11:04Speaker 3: has always been part of free speech. You have a
- 11:06Speaker 3: right to speak freely, but you don't have a right
- 11:08Speaker 3: to defame someone. You don't have a right to say
- 11:11Speaker 3: something that is deliberately false and deliberately defamatory. And it
- 11:14Speaker 3: has always been the case that you can be held
- 11:18Speaker 3: liable for slander or libel. Slander is saying it saying
- 11:23Speaker 3: it orally libel is saying it and writing. They're both
- 11:25Speaker 3: species of defamation. If you deliberately say something false. Is
- 11:31Speaker 3: that is harmful to the character or an other. And
- 11:33Speaker 3: particularly when you're a news organization, there's an expectation that
- 11:37Speaker 3: you have some modicum of integrity, some standards, and I
- 11:41Speaker 3: think in this case, ABC realized they couldn't defend what
- 11:44Speaker 3: they've done.
- 11:45Speaker 1: So let's talk about this administration coming in, you know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: January twentieth. And Look, we know that there was a
- 11:51Speaker 1: lot of reporting that was on the term administration back
- 11:55Speaker 1: in sixteen that was a lie. Russia collusion was a
- 11:57Speaker 1: great example of that. And then we know that the
- 12:00Speaker 1: media lied to us about for example, Hunter Biden's laptop.
- 12:03Speaker 2: That was a lie.
- 12:04Speaker 1: And there was a lot of things said that we're
- 12:06Speaker 1: not true about people in and around Trump.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Is this a reminder now that we've learned to fight
- 12:14Speaker 2: it maybe.
- 12:15Speaker 1: A little bit differently, that we understand the court system
- 12:19Speaker 1: can be used to hold the media accountable when they
- 12:22Speaker 1: lie about people in the trum administration.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Is this something that actually could change the game a.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Little bit perhaps, Look, this is a situation where it
- 12:33Speaker 3: was clear and objective that what what ABC said was wrong,
- 12:39Speaker 3: that it was false, that that that ABC repeatedly said
- 12:41Speaker 3: a jury had found them liable for rape, and that
- 12:44Speaker 3: was explicitly the opposite of what they've done. I will
- 12:46Speaker 3: say most of the examples you've given, where the media
- 12:49Speaker 3: is saying horrible things about Trump over and over and
- 12:51Speaker 3: over again, it's much harder to prove defamation. It's harder
- 12:55Speaker 3: to prove that it's objectively false. Like on Russia, Russia, Russia.
- 12:59Speaker 3: They will say, well, look, we were just reporting what
- 13:00Speaker 3: the allegations were. We were reporting what Bob Muller said,
- 13:04Speaker 3: We were reporting what so and so said. You know,
- 13:06Speaker 3: they can hide behind he said, she said. In this instance,
- 13:11Speaker 3: what gave them particular exposure is there was a jury
- 13:15Speaker 3: verdict and ABC simply reported it wrong and did so
- 13:21Speaker 3: somebody knew whether stuff Stephanopolis knew or not, somebody knew.
- 13:25Speaker 3: And I will say, it is harder to win a
- 13:29Speaker 3: defamation case if you're Donald Trump, or if you're any
- 13:33Speaker 3: public figure, because the Supreme Court the standard for defamation.
- 13:38Speaker 3: They made it much harder for a public figure to
- 13:41Speaker 3: win a defamation case. And there's a landmark decision from
- 13:43Speaker 3: the Supreme Court called New York Times versus Sullivan. It
- 13:47Speaker 3: was nineteen sixty four, and what the Court concluded is
- 13:51Speaker 3: that you have to demonstrate quote actual malice before you
- 13:56Speaker 3: can find defamation if it's against a public figure. And
- 14:00Speaker 3: here's the quote from the Supreme Court quote. The constitutional
- 14:04Speaker 3: guarantees require, we think, a federal rule that prohibits a
- 14:08Speaker 3: public official from recovering damages for a defamatory falsehood related
- 14:13Speaker 3: to his official conduct unless he proves that the statement
- 14:17Speaker 3: was made with quote actual malice, that is, with knowledge
- 14:22Speaker 3: that it was false, or with reckless disregard of whether
- 14:26Speaker 3: it was false or not. Now that's a very high
- 14:29Speaker 3: standard to prove. And so as a general matter, if
- 14:32Speaker 3: someone's a public figure. By the way, if someone is
- 14:34Speaker 3: not a public figure, someone's an ordinary citizen, defamation is
- 14:38Speaker 3: much easier to prove. You don't have to prove actual malice.
- 14:40Speaker 3: But if you are a public figure, and the president
- 14:43Speaker 3: of the United States is the quintessential public figure, then
- 14:46Speaker 3: you've got to meet that higher threshold. Now there are
- 14:49Speaker 3: at least two arguments that Trump's legal team would make.
- 14:52Speaker 3: One was, in this case, the defamation was not relating
- 14:56Speaker 3: to his official conduct. He was not president in the
- 15:00Speaker 3: United States at the time the interaction with Gene Carroll
- 15:03Speaker 3: did or did not occur, and so it was not
- 15:07Speaker 3: a defamatory falsehood related to his official conduct, but rather
- 15:10Speaker 3: his personal life before he was president of the United States.
- 15:14Speaker 3: So that would certainly be what Trump's lawyers would argue
- 15:16Speaker 3: is that the New York Times versus Sullivan standard doesn't apply.
- 15:20Speaker 3: But secondly, even if you had to demonstrate actual malice.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Notice a second ago, when I was saying, when they
- 15:25Speaker 3: were prepping Stephanopoulos for his deposition, they would have to
- 15:29Speaker 3: walk through did he know it was false? Well, I wasn't.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I didn't have in front of me the standard. But
- 15:35Speaker 3: it turns out I was quoting the standard back at you.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Let me read it again. The Supreme Court defined actual
- 15:40Speaker 3: malice as quote that is, with knowledge that it was false,
- 15:45Speaker 3: or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not.
- 15:48Speaker 3: So one or the two. You've got to demonstrate for
- 15:51Speaker 3: actual malice. And the problem I think that that ABC
- 15:54Speaker 3: had is I think it was very clear that they
- 15:58Speaker 3: did it with actual malice. There was certainly a producer
- 16:01Speaker 3: or somebody knew for a fact it was false to
- 16:04Speaker 3: say he'd been found liable for rape. It wouldn't surprise
- 16:07Speaker 3: me if a producer had told Stephanopolis, don't say, liable
- 16:11Speaker 3: for rape, and it wouldn't surprise me if Stephanopolis decided
- 16:14Speaker 3: how I'm going to say it anyway, it's close enough
- 16:16Speaker 3: for government work, and it's much more sensationalistic than to
- 16:20Speaker 3: report accurately. And I think when they found themselves trying
- 16:23Speaker 3: to defend the lawsuit, that it was going to be
- 16:26Speaker 3: clear that they either knew what they were saying were false,
- 16:29Speaker 3: or at a very minimum, they were engaged in reckless
- 16:32Speaker 3: disregard of whether it was true or false. And so
- 16:34Speaker 3: they were going to get popped and they were going
- 16:36Speaker 3: to lose. And that's why they're apologizing, that's why they're
- 16:38Speaker 3: writing a big, big check.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And it also made Stepanoplis very vulnerable, right. I think
- 16:44Speaker 1: that was part of his preserving their anchor here because
- 16:47Speaker 1: if they went into a deposition and they really got
- 16:49Speaker 1: to rough him up, that would hurt his brand, and
- 16:52Speaker 1: that would hurt the brand of ABC, I think as well,
- 16:54Speaker 1: because they still want you to believe that he is
- 16:57Speaker 1: the most non biased, hardcore news guy at a news.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Well, that's right, And look, Dereck George Stephanopolis worked in
- 17:04Speaker 3: the Clinton White House. He was a Democrat operative for
- 17:07Speaker 3: years before he became an ABC journalist, and I have
- 17:12Speaker 3: no doubt that there were going to be lots of
- 17:14Speaker 3: questions from Trump lawyers about, Okay, mister Stephanopolis, what are
- 17:18Speaker 3: your communications with Democrats? What are your communications with the
- 17:21Speaker 3: White House? What are your communications with Joe Biden and
- 17:24Speaker 3: Kamala Harris? To what extent are you acting as as
- 17:29Speaker 3: a Democrat attack dog? And it may well be I
- 17:33Speaker 3: don't know this to be the case. I'm sure they
- 17:35Speaker 3: were going to ask those questions, and I suspect that
- 17:38Speaker 3: ABC was very nervous about what kind of answered Stephanopolis
- 17:41Speaker 3: would give under oath and potentially vulnerable and for the
- 17:46Speaker 3: world to know the frequency with which he is explicitly
- 17:50Speaker 3: reading the talking points from the Democrat Party.
- 17:53Speaker 2: One thing's for sure.
- 17:54Speaker 1: When the library opens up, it's going to be really
- 17:56Speaker 1: fun to see how they make sure that everyone going
- 17:59Speaker 1: through the Life Library knows that this part of the
- 18:01Speaker 1: library is brought to you by ABC News and towards Steppanoflis.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I cannot wait to see the trolling there because I
- 18:07Speaker 1: don't believe that Donald Trump is going to let that
- 18:09Speaker 1: opportunity pass. I just I don't believe it. It's going
- 18:11Speaker 1: to be really fun to see what happens.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I think that is a fair prediction. I would not
- 18:14Speaker 3: wager on the other side of you on that one.
- 18:17Speaker 1: So this holiday season and I want to take a
- 18:19Speaker 1: moment because this may be one of the most important
- 18:21Speaker 1: gifts you ever buy for people that you love.
- 18:24Speaker 2: There is one thing that I want you to know about.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It is the Burna less lethal pistol launcher, and it
- 18:33Speaker 1: can save not only your life, but the life of
- 18:35Speaker 1: someone else is a threat to you. It is a
- 18:37Speaker 1: center to recognize that personal safety is a year round priority.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Crime trends are spiking, especially during the holidays, making even
- 18:46Speaker 1: more critical to protect what matters most the holiday season.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Gift your loved ones the peace of mind with a
- 18:53Speaker 1: Burner less lethal launcher. Why do I love this because
- 18:58Speaker 1: it puts more distance between I love one and their attacker.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I can use this burn A launcher up to sixty
- 19:05Speaker 1: feet away from someone that's a threat to me. It
- 19:08Speaker 1: also has kinetic rounds that can incapacitate someone fro up
- 19:12Speaker 1: to forty minutes. It has these amazing chemical rounds that
- 19:16Speaker 1: explode when they hit you, and it's things like pepper
- 19:19Speaker 1: spray in them or tear gas and it's going to
- 19:22Speaker 1: drop someone instantly. Now this is also great because you
- 19:26Speaker 1: don't have to deal about with the irreversible consequences of
- 19:30Speaker 1: deadly force. Now, look, I carry a firearm, but many
- 19:32Speaker 1: times I'm in places where I can't carry a firearm,
- 19:35Speaker 1: especially when I'm traveling, and this is a fabulous backup option.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Maybe you have a daughter that lives on college campus,
- 19:41Speaker 1: or lives off campus, or lives alone and they're under
- 19:43Speaker 1: twenty one, or maybe you have someone that just doesn't
- 19:45Speaker 1: feel comfortable carrying a firearm. This is an amazing gift
- 19:49Speaker 1: for them. A burno, like I said, can save two lives.
- 19:52Speaker 1: It is a great compliment owning a firearm. And if
- 19:55Speaker 1: you or your families in a situation where you feel threatened,
- 19:58Speaker 1: you can start with burn and less lethal force. It's
- 20:01Speaker 1: legal in all fifty states. That's something I love because
- 20:04Speaker 1: I travel. There are no permits or background checks needed.
- 20:08Speaker 1: And not only do I own this, but I bought
- 20:09Speaker 1: it for a ton of my family members. Burna is
- 20:12Speaker 1: the answer, and it's designed for easy use by all
- 20:15Speaker 1: age groups eighteen and over, so check them out, and
- 20:20Speaker 1: I want to save you money. It's also used by
- 20:21Speaker 1: government agencies and law enforcement around the country. More than
- 20:24Speaker 1: a half million of these have been sold and they
- 20:26Speaker 1: have more than fourteen thousand, four and a half star reviews.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Visit Burna BYRNA dot com. That's burna dot com slash
- 20:36Speaker 1: ferguson for ten percent off. That's by RNA dot com
- 20:40Speaker 1: slash ferguson burna dot com slash ferguson to get ten
- 20:44Speaker 1: percent off. Right now, I want to move on to
- 20:48Speaker 1: this other big shocking story, and it is the normalization
- 20:53Speaker 1: of kill your political enemy, kill anybody that you don't like,
- 20:58Speaker 1: that you think is evil, justify it publicly so we
- 21:02Speaker 1: can normalize it. We've seen this with the assassination attempts
- 21:06Speaker 1: on Donald Trump. We have now seen this turn really
- 21:10Speaker 1: ugly when it comes to the murder of this CEO
- 21:14Speaker 1: of New York City, the cold blooded murder of this CEO,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and people have turned him into some sort of hero.
- 21:21Speaker 1: We now have elected officials, Senator, some that you serve
- 21:26Speaker 1: with getting in on this, allowing for this almost justification
- 21:30Speaker 1: of well, we understand why people would want to do this.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Well, And we did an entire podcast on this last
- 21:37Speaker 3: week last Wednesday at Courge. You go back and listen
- 21:39Speaker 3: to it because I really think what is happening here,
- 21:42Speaker 3: It is dangerous and it is grotesque. This healthcare CEO
- 21:47Speaker 3: was gunned down in broad daylight in New York City
- 21:50Speaker 3: and this deranged killer walked up and shot him multiple
- 21:53Speaker 3: times in the back. After a two day man hunt,
- 21:57Speaker 3: he was caught and the left lost their mind. They
- 22:00Speaker 3: have lionized him because and we did a deep dive,
- 22:03Speaker 3: this is because of the cultural Marxism. This is because
- 22:06Speaker 3: their ideology says that that anytime the quote oppressor engages
- 22:12Speaker 3: in violence, or rather the quote victim engages in violence
- 22:15Speaker 3: against the quote oppressor, that that that violence is justified
- 22:18Speaker 3: and to be celebrated. And we went through the number
- 22:22Speaker 3: of leftists, including Taylor Lorenz, you know, a quote unquote
- 22:27Speaker 3: journalist for both the Washington Post and the New York Times,
- 22:31Speaker 3: who described how she felt joy, that was her term,
- 22:34Speaker 3: joy at this guy being murdered.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It's sick.
- 22:38Speaker 3: And we talked about as well, how how the view
- 22:42Speaker 3: Joy Bihar unloaded on me because I pointed out that
- 22:46Speaker 3: these were leftism leftists just celebrating cold blooded murder, and
- 22:50Speaker 3: she said, it's not leftist, it's not us at all. Well,
- 22:53Speaker 3: Joy Bihar guess what. Your message didn't get to Bernie Sanders,
- 22:58Speaker 3: Your message didn't get to Ao, your message didn't get
- 23:02Speaker 3: to Elizabeth Warren because all of them in the last
- 23:04Speaker 3: few days have been on TV justifying, rationalizing, giving excuses
- 23:11Speaker 3: for the cold blooded murder. I want you to listen
- 23:12Speaker 3: to this montage of comments from them, and then we're
- 23:15Speaker 3: going to talk about it more.
- 23:17Speaker 4: And this is not to say that an act of
- 23:19Speaker 4: violence is justified, but I think for anyone who is
- 23:25Speaker 4: confused or shocked or appalled, they need to understand that
- 23:29Speaker 4: people interpret and feel and experience denied claims as an
- 23:38Speaker 4: act of violence against them. People go homeless over the
- 23:42Speaker 4: financial devastation of a diagnosis that doesn't get addressed, or
- 23:49Speaker 4: you know, the amount that they're going to have to
- 23:51Speaker 4: cover with a surprise bill and things like that. And
- 23:55Speaker 4: when we kind of talk about how systems are violent
- 23:57Speaker 4: in this country in this passage way, our privatized healthcare
- 24:03Speaker 4: system is like that for a huge amount of.
- 24:05Speaker 5: American Yeah, and look, we'll say it over and over.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Violence is never the answer.
- 24:09Speaker 6: This guy gets a trial who's allegedly killed the CEO
- 24:13Speaker 6: of United Health.
- 24:14Speaker 5: But you can only push people so far and.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Then they start to take matters into their own hands.
- 24:20Speaker 6: Yeah, Elizabeth Warren obviously understands killing and murder and shooting
- 24:26Speaker 6: somebody in the back is totally unacceptable. But what I
- 24:30Speaker 6: think has happened in the last few months is that
- 24:36Speaker 6: what you have seen rising up is people's anger at
- 24:40Speaker 6: a health insurance industry which denies people the healthcare that
- 24:46Speaker 6: they desperately need while they.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Make billions and billions of dollars in profit.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Anytime you say something's terrible, but it means you're saying,
- 24:58Speaker 1: but we understand it. It okay, we get it, we
- 25:01Speaker 1: comprehend it. We see how you got from point A
- 25:04Speaker 1: to point B. We have video of a cold blooded
- 25:06Speaker 1: murderer who goes up and assassinates an individual, and they're
- 25:12Speaker 1: justifying the understanding of why it should be why he
- 25:14Speaker 1: and others are angry at all these healthcare seeears. This
- 25:17Speaker 1: is this is dehumanizing people who you don't like, the
- 25:22Speaker 1: same way they've done it with Trump.
- 25:23Speaker 2: It is so dangerous.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Look at it's exactly the same as with Trump. It's
- 25:27Speaker 3: exactly the same as these leftists have done with Hamas
- 25:31Speaker 3: on October seventh, where they'll all say in obligatory violence
- 25:35Speaker 3: is wrong. But then they immediately start justifying the violence.
- 25:38Speaker 3: And they immediately say, well, yes, the rape and murder
- 25:41Speaker 3: of twelve hundred is rarely said, that's wrong, But but
- 25:45Speaker 3: the Palestinians are oppressed, and we should celebrate the Palestinians
- 25:48Speaker 3: and is it wonderful? And then that's what the leftists do.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You know, yes, yes, yes, murdering the guy was wrong,
- 25:53Speaker 3: I suppose, But you know what, every healthcare ceo needs
- 25:56Speaker 3: to be murdered, every CEO needs to be murdered, and
- 25:57Speaker 3: they immediately their ideology goes to celebrating violence. And let
- 26:04Speaker 3: me just once I would like to see someone on
- 26:08Speaker 3: the left be clear and unequivocal that violence is wrong,
- 26:11Speaker 3: period the end. This murder was grotesque, it was evil,
- 26:15Speaker 3: It was wrong. There is no justification for it whatsoever.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Even if your political ideology, as you've decided, you hate
- 26:22Speaker 3: this healthcare ceo that you've never met. You don't know
- 26:25Speaker 3: what he's done, you don't know anything about him other
- 26:27Speaker 3: than that that he he was the CEO of a
- 26:30Speaker 3: healthcare company, And because your ideology is so railing against capitalism,
- 26:37Speaker 3: you think murder is a great thing. It's it's as
- 26:39Speaker 3: I said, it's the same. These are the same people
- 26:41Speaker 3: who buy coffee cups that say, you know, I wish
- 26:44Speaker 3: wish the guy in Butler, Pennsylvania hadn't missed because violence
- 26:48Speaker 3: is okay to them. These are the same people that
- 26:51Speaker 3: celebrated the Black Lives Matter ANTIFA riots. This is this
- 26:55Speaker 3: is Kamala Harris raising money to bail people out of
- 26:58Speaker 3: jail who are violent rioters. Because for today's radical left,
- 27:05Speaker 3: the ends justify the means, and violence is okay. And
- 27:08Speaker 3: I want to be absolutely clear, violence is never okay.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Whether I agree with your ideology or not. Nobody should
- 27:16Speaker 3: engage in violence against anyone else and if you do,
- 27:19Speaker 3: if you engage in violence, you should face serious consequences.
- 27:23Speaker 2: How much do you worry about this becoming normalized.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I mean, we got over to Donald trump first assassination
- 27:28Speaker 1: incredibly quick.
- 27:29Speaker 2: It was like, okay, it happened, but he's so live,
- 27:31Speaker 2: let's immediately move on.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Then we have another attempted assassination on him down at
- 27:36Speaker 1: his golf course and be like, well, I mean it's
- 27:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump. You kind of gotta expect this now. That
- 27:40Speaker 1: was the demeanor of many on the left. And then
- 27:43Speaker 1: there was part of the left, that is exactly as
- 27:46Speaker 1: you described it. They were like, well, the guy should
- 27:48Speaker 1: have not missed, and it was almost anger at the shooters.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I think that's the most shocking part to me is
- 27:55Speaker 1: we are dehumanizing people in a way that is now
- 27:58Speaker 1: putting other people lives at risk.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Well, and and for too many on the left, politics
- 28:05Speaker 3: is everything. It is life and death is identity. I mean,
- 28:08Speaker 3: I mean, look, I get to say politics is very
- 28:11Speaker 3: different than twelve years ago when I first got elected.
- 28:14Speaker 3: It's so nasty and personal. You know, we used to
- 28:18Speaker 3: be able to disagree without without hating each other, without
- 28:21Speaker 3: demonizing each other, with without cheering at at violence and
- 28:27Speaker 3: the murder of those you may disagree with. And unfortunately
- 28:33Speaker 3: I don't see a whole lot of public democrats speaking
- 28:36Speaker 3: out against this it. I wish we had more that
- 28:41Speaker 3: had the courage to speak out and say this is
- 28:44Speaker 3: unequivocally wrong. Look, well, this strange killer, his lawyers are
- 28:49Speaker 3: being paid for by leftists who are celebrating what he did.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's the part I think that when I
- 28:56Speaker 1: look at this, I'm like, if you said this ten
- 28:59Speaker 1: years ago, fifteen years ago, you'd probably have people calling
- 29:03Speaker 1: for you to resign of all the people we just payed.
- 29:05Speaker 1: That's not happening. There would have been like reporters saying, hey,
- 29:09Speaker 1: like you need to answer for this these you know,
- 29:12Speaker 1: these statements that you made, do you want to clarify
- 29:15Speaker 1: them or clean them up. There's none of that this time.
- 29:18Speaker 1: It's like, oh, yeah, yeah, of course it makes sense.
- 29:21Speaker 3: You know it is. It is the reality of where
- 29:23Speaker 3: we are today.
- 29:24Speaker 2: It's sad.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I pray for this country and I hope that at
- 29:27Speaker 1: some point people will start to reject this type of
- 29:31Speaker 1: rhetoric and not normalize it like we are like it
- 29:34Speaker 1: like it's happened. So far, there are over eight hundred
- 29:37Speaker 1: thousand Americans that are members of the USCCA. Why well,
- 29:42Speaker 1: because of what you receive when you're a member. I've
- 29:45Speaker 1: had to carry a firearm and I've had to pull
- 29:47Speaker 1: the trigger, and i had to save my life one night,
- 29:50Speaker 1: and I'm so thankful that I was able to exercise
- 29:52Speaker 1: my second member. Writer, I wouldn't be here talking to
- 29:54Speaker 1: you right now. But what I will tell you that
- 29:57Speaker 1: is even more shocking than that is now our twisted
- 30:00Speaker 1: legal system, especially with activist das, are wanting to put
- 30:04Speaker 1: law abiding citizens who exercise their Second Amendment rights just
- 30:08Speaker 1: like you behind bars because they cannot stand that so
- 30:11Speaker 1: many of us carry a firearm. Well, you've got to
- 30:14Speaker 1: protect yourself and protect your Second Amendment rights, and you
- 30:18Speaker 1: don't want to lose everything because you actually had to
- 30:21Speaker 1: save your own life or the life of someone in danger.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And that's why I want you to join the USCCA,
- 30:27Speaker 1: because not only do you get access to their Protect
- 30:30Speaker 1: Your Academy where you learn vital skills like precision shooting
- 30:33Speaker 1: and how to fortify your home against criminals, but you
- 30:36Speaker 1: also get access to the twenty four to seven Critical
- 30:39Speaker 1: Response Team and the included benefit of the Self Defense
- 30:45Speaker 1: Liability Insurance to make sure you and your family are
- 30:48Speaker 1: prepared for anything. Now, I also want to give you
- 30:51Speaker 1: a chance to win something amazing.
- 30:54Speaker 2: You can win.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Right now any seventeen hundred dollars to buy any self
- 30:59Speaker 1: defense gear that you need before it's too late. How
- 31:02Speaker 1: do you do it? Text the word America to eight
- 31:05Speaker 1: seven two two two right now. It's text the word
- 31:08Speaker 1: America to eight seven to to two right now to
- 31:11Speaker 1: get the uscca's free life saving Concealed Carry and Family
- 31:14Speaker 1: Defense god and a chance to win seventeen hundred dollars
- 31:17Speaker 1: to binding self defense gear that you need before it's
- 31:19Speaker 1: too late. So texta word America eight seven two to two.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Right now, Finally, Senator, this is another story and the
- 31:27Speaker 1: media is trying to figure this out. The Democratic Party
- 31:29Speaker 1: is trying to figure it out. How do we lose
- 31:31Speaker 1: this last selection? What caused it was it really our
- 31:34Speaker 1: policy on migrants and illegal immigrants. And there was a
- 31:37Speaker 1: very interesting conversation that took place, and people even on
- 31:41Speaker 1: the leftwik is this aha moment? And I laughed because
- 31:45Speaker 1: it's something that you actually said on this show a
- 31:48Speaker 1: couple of years ago. Jessica Tarlove and Katie Curic, we're
- 31:52Speaker 1: talking about JP governors sending illegal immigrants to other parts
- 31:57Speaker 1: of the country from border states, and I want to
- 31:59Speaker 1: play this for people's and they specifically, we're talking about
- 32:03Speaker 1: Rod DeSantis in Florida, Greg Abbot in Texas and this
- 32:07Speaker 1: is what they said.
- 32:08Speaker 2: In reaction on.
- 32:10Speaker 5: The immigration front, there was a tendency amongst Democrats, and
- 32:14Speaker 5: especially Democrats were discussing the issue of people who do
- 32:17Speaker 5: interviews are part of the media to minimize it. Over
- 32:21Speaker 5: the first two and a half years, when there were
- 32:25Speaker 5: a lot of people coming in here, and I thought
- 32:28Speaker 5: that it was a stunt. You know, when they started
- 32:32Speaker 5: bussing migrants, they go to markets, vineyards. Yeah, it was
- 32:35Speaker 5: the smartest thing they ever did.
- 32:37Speaker 7: What was interesting because I have a friend who lives
- 32:39Speaker 7: in Florida, and I said, what did you think of
- 32:42Speaker 7: of Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbot taking some of these
- 32:47Speaker 7: immigrants and moving them to Northern States? And she said,
- 32:50Speaker 7: I thought it was great because nobody really was paying
- 32:54Speaker 7: attention before that. And I do think that this untold
- 33:00Speaker 7: old story was the strain on social services and communities,
- 33:04Speaker 7: particularly along the border, this influx, huge influx of immigrants
- 33:09Speaker 7: was having and I think the mainstream media, however you
- 33:13Speaker 7: define that these days, kind of ignored that story to
- 33:17Speaker 7: its peril.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I mean, wow, right, like at least they're figuring it out.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I don't want to say that all the media is
- 33:23Speaker 1: figuring out, but it is pretty funny they figured out
- 33:26Speaker 1: the only problem is they were just a couple of
- 33:27Speaker 1: years too late.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Yeah, look at striking to hear Kati Kuric admitting that now,
- 33:32Speaker 3: as you know, this was an idea that I suggested
- 33:36Speaker 3: three years ago. In October of twenty twenty one, I
- 33:39Speaker 3: introduced a bill called the Surge Act. And the Surge
- 33:42Speaker 3: Act was designed to create thirteen new ports of entry
- 33:50Speaker 3: to send illegal immigrants. And here's here's what my press
- 33:53Speaker 3: really said at the time. If Washington Democrats had to
- 33:56Speaker 3: endure even a fraction of the suffering South Texas families,
- 33:59Speaker 3: far farmer, ranchers and small businesses have had to face,
- 34:02Speaker 3: our nation's immigration laws would be in force. The wall
- 34:05Speaker 3: would be built and remain in Mexico. Policy would be implemented.
- 34:08Speaker 3: And so I introduced legislation to change the points of
- 34:12Speaker 3: entry and add thirteen new places. Block Island, Rhode Island, Greenwich, Connecticut,
- 34:19Speaker 3: Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Governor's Island, New York, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Nantucket, Massachusetts, Newport,
- 34:29Speaker 3: Rhode Island, Scarsdale, New York, Palo Alto, California, Yuntville, California,
- 34:34Speaker 3: Saint Helena, California, and North Hero, Vermont, which is where
- 34:39Speaker 3: Bernie Sanders vacations. And the idea was all the places
- 34:43Speaker 3: where rich liberals sit and sip chardonnay and look down
- 34:48Speaker 3: on people concerned about the open borders. And it was
- 34:52Speaker 3: really striking at the time I introduced this legislation, the
- 34:57Speaker 3: leftist media went crazy, and in fact, the county executive
- 35:00Speaker 3: at Martha's Vineyard attacked me, attacked me by name, and
- 35:04Speaker 3: he said Cruise doesn't understand immigration, and he said we
- 35:09Speaker 3: and Martha's Vineyard would welcome illegal immigrants. Well, several months later,
- 35:15Speaker 3: Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott took me up on what
- 35:18Speaker 3: I had suggested, and they did exactly that. They sent
- 35:21Speaker 3: fifty illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard. And of course that
- 35:25Speaker 3: same county executive within twenty four hours declared an emergency
- 35:29Speaker 3: and ended up deporting the fifty who had been sent.
- 35:33Speaker 3: And I'll tell you we actually covered this on Verdict
- 35:36Speaker 3: several years ago. So I want you to play an
- 35:38Speaker 3: old segment from Verdict. This is actually pre pre the
- 35:42Speaker 3: great Ben Ferguson. This is back when when Michael Noles
- 35:44Speaker 3: and I were doing it.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Our good friend. Yeah, yes, the voice is about to
- 35:48Speaker 1: change a little bit, right.
- 35:50Speaker 3: But this is us talking about it three years ago,
- 35:53Speaker 3: and it had a bit of foreshadowing.
- 35:57Speaker 2: So give a listen.
- 35:59Speaker 8: They've just sent airplanes full of illegal aliens to Martha's Vineyard.
- 36:05Speaker 8: And I cheered when I saw the headline, and then
- 36:09Speaker 8: I had to think, you know, there's a certain podcast
- 36:12Speaker 8: hosted by a certain senator from Texas that has been
- 36:16Speaker 8: calling exactly for that for many weeks now, and I
- 36:21Speaker 8: just can't help but wonder if that may have had
- 36:23Speaker 8: some effect on this policy going into effect.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I was thrilled when the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott,
- 36:29Speaker 3: took me up on the idea and began sending illegal immigrants,
- 36:32Speaker 3: first to d C, then to New York, then to Chicago.
- 36:35Speaker 3: It's had a fantastic event as these Democratic mayors have
- 36:39Speaker 3: lost their minds and declared national emergencies. The mayor of
- 36:44Speaker 3: d C declared a national emergency or a city emergency
- 36:47Speaker 3: because six thousand illegal immigrants were sent to d C.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Of course, we've had since Joe Biden became president, we
- 36:54Speaker 3: have had four point two million illegal immigrants cross illegally
- 37:00Speaker 3: with Biden as president.
- 37:01Speaker 8: It is horrific. That's a crazy number. Four point two million.
- 37:05Speaker 8: That is a crazy number. It is larger than many
- 37:09Speaker 8: of the states of our Union. I mean, four point
- 37:12Speaker 8: two million. Since Joe Biden put his hand on the
- 37:15Speaker 8: Bible and took the oath of office, that's what's come
- 37:18Speaker 8: and it continues to get worse. And what is amazing
- 37:22Speaker 8: about when red state governors, first Texas now Florida are
- 37:26Speaker 8: shipping to blue strongholds is the Democrats, who talk a
- 37:31Speaker 8: good game immediately flipped tailed. So I want to give
- 37:34Speaker 8: you a quote on the from Martha's Vineyard. When I
- 37:37Speaker 8: introduced the legislation, you had Democrats, democrats, and the House
- 37:41Speaker 8: of Representatives slamm me. But I want to read from
- 37:46Speaker 8: the county commissioner of Martha's Vineyard, Keith Chattenover, and here's
- 37:51Speaker 8: the quote he said about my legislation. I would love
- 37:56Speaker 8: to see Martha's Vineyard become a haven for new immigrants
- 38:01Speaker 8: in the country. But Senator Cruz has no idea what
- 38:04Speaker 8: he's talking about regarding a border crisis. He went on
- 38:08Speaker 8: to say, immigrants make our country stronger, as evidenced by
- 38:11Speaker 8: immigration from Brazil and other countries to the vineyard. And
- 38:15Speaker 8: he is trying to whip up racial anxieties for political gain,
- 38:19Speaker 8: which is essentially the entire GOP platform. Anyhow, that's before
- 38:23Speaker 8: they arrived. I want to see if after two, three, four, five,
- 38:27Speaker 8: six ' ten, one hundred planeloads or bus loads, if
- 38:32Speaker 8: the county Commissioner has the same view.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Three years ago you said that, Senator, and now we're
- 38:39Speaker 1: seeing that Democrats are actually saying, man, this was really effective,
- 38:44Speaker 1: Like this was really really effective. You did this as
- 38:47Speaker 1: stopped the Surge Act in October twenty twenty one.
- 38:51Speaker 3: And by the way, three years ago, notice that number
- 38:54Speaker 3: four point two million illegal immigrants were now over twelve million.
- 38:59Speaker 3: What has happened at our southern border is an experiment
- 39:03Speaker 3: in radicalism that has never been tried in the United
- 39:06Speaker 3: States of America. Our country is struggling the suffering that
- 39:11Speaker 3: has occurred, and I will say the actual sending of
- 39:15Speaker 3: planeloads and bus loads of illegal immigrants to Blue strongholds.
- 39:18Speaker 3: It showed the complete and utter hypocrisy as every Democrat mayor,
- 39:23Speaker 3: every Democrat governor, every Democrat county executive completely demonstrated everything
- 39:28Speaker 3: they'd been saying was a lie, and it broke through
- 39:32Speaker 3: the media freeze out in a way nothing else did.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I think Katie Kirk's right that that single action of
- 39:41Speaker 3: demonstrating Democrat hypocrisy on this issue could well have decided
- 39:45Speaker 3: the presidential election last month.
