- 0:19Speaker 1: to me, true good its ste hory guy listening to me.
- 0:25Speaker 1: When to each other for study? Why don't you join
- 0:39Speaker 1: yeah by joint polling me. Honey, say you got to turn, Yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn turn to lovey got to
- 1:43Speaker 1: turn out to turn turn want to go, comey, come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thaat uh huh, I sure will A good
- 2:05Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:09Speaker 1: me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I gotta tweet the other day from a young dude
- 2:16Speaker 1: named Cortez h. I can't remember his Twitter handle, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: Cortet is something. And he tweeted me and he said, uh,
- 2:27Speaker 1: when Steve Harvey used to get to preach and I
- 2:29Speaker 1: used to just turn the radio off. And then he
- 2:33Speaker 1: said something to the fact that, but now is different.
- 2:39Speaker 1: He said, old dude be bringing it, he'd be bringing
- 2:42Speaker 1: the truth. I appreciate that. That's what he said. Well, Cortets,
- 2:48Speaker 1: if you out there listeners morning, I appreciate you too, man,
- 2:51Speaker 1: because see I understand what it is I used to
- 2:54Speaker 1: you know, man, when I was younger, Man, when I
- 2:56Speaker 1: when I wanted to do what I wanted to do. Man,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I just man, I didn't want to hear nothing else.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I don't want to hear nothing that contradicted what I
- 3:03Speaker 1: wanted to do. You know. So it's a funny thing
- 3:06Speaker 1: man about me. Man, I was I would hear the truth,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I would know it to be the truth. But because
- 3:12Speaker 1: I had another plan, another mission, another goal, another set
- 3:15Speaker 1: of dudes I wanted to get done, I didn't want
- 3:19Speaker 1: to hear that. You know. It's a funny thing, man.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It's like like when I was a little boy and
- 3:24Speaker 1: I used to get scared sometime at night, you know,
- 3:27Speaker 1: the booker Man. So I thought that if I just
- 3:29Speaker 1: pulled the blanket up over my head, that that meant
- 3:32Speaker 1: that if I can't see the booger man, he can't
- 3:35Speaker 1: see me. That's the theory. That's an ostrich, you know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: sticking his head in the sand, thinking, live, if I
- 3:43Speaker 1: don't see this dude, he can't see me. A lot
- 3:46Speaker 1: of Ostriches didn't die with their head stuck in the sand.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I just didn't want to be one of the people
- 3:51Speaker 1: that left this world with my head in the sand,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and so you know, he kind of fostered that thought
- 3:57Speaker 1: in my mind this morning. So I want to send
- 3:59Speaker 1: the shout out to my man on Twitter, cortets whatever.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I think. I'm gonna look his real name of Holdos
- 4:06Speaker 1: while I'm piddling through this trying to find it so
- 4:09Speaker 1: I can get this real Twitter handling and give him
- 4:11Speaker 1: some love. But you know, man, I just wanted to say,
- 4:16Speaker 1: man this morning, that quit talking about change. Y'all listening,
- 4:25Speaker 1: because because because this is real right here, quit talking
- 4:30Speaker 1: about change and let's make a change. You know, man,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I don't I don't mind giving people advice. I really,
- 4:38Speaker 1: I really really don't, because so many people along the
- 4:42Speaker 1: way have handed it to me freely. Man. Some people
- 4:45Speaker 1: just saw me doing wrong and say, young man, come
- 4:47Speaker 1: and let me talk to you for a man. Some
- 4:49Speaker 1: people say, hey, bro, look man, I know what you're
- 4:51Speaker 1: trying to do. Man, when have you thought about it
- 4:55Speaker 1: this way? So I've had a lot of favor in
- 4:58Speaker 1: my life, a lot of grace been showing on me,
- 5:01Speaker 1: a lot of mercy, A lot of people and came
- 5:03Speaker 1: to me, helped me a long way. So I don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: have no problem with this part of what what I'm
- 5:06Speaker 1: what I'm obligated to do in the mornings. But let's
- 5:09Speaker 1: quit talking about change, y'all, and let's make a change.
- 5:12Speaker 1: She changes growth and ain't no growth without change. You've
- 5:19Speaker 1: got people, Man, You ever met a person that's just
- 5:22Speaker 1: insistent on doing it they way? I mean, nobody in
- 5:26Speaker 1: the building think they should go that way, but they're
- 5:29Speaker 1: so bone headed. Oh this is how I'm gonna do it.
- 5:33Speaker 1: But bro, listen to me. Man, that ain't highs done.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You're gonna run into this distance I show you heait
- 5:40Speaker 1: a minute. Man, you can't do it that way. Man,
- 5:44Speaker 1: listen to me. Change is growth and ain't no growth
- 5:50Speaker 1: without change. It cannot happen. If you are sick and
- 5:55Speaker 1: tired of where you are, then you have to change. Chat.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Change can only come from within. Can nobody make you change? Now?
- 6:04Speaker 1: We got a penal system in place that can make
- 6:06Speaker 1: you sit down. If you don't want to change, we'll
- 6:10Speaker 1: sit you down and we'll restrict your movement and your
- 6:14Speaker 1: communication to the point where if you want to continue
- 6:16Speaker 1: this foolishness, we're gonna put you in this building with
- 6:19Speaker 1: a whole lot of people. That's foolishness, and y'all just
- 6:22Speaker 1: trick each other all day long. But if you are
- 6:25Speaker 1: sick and tired of your situation, you've got to change, man.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And listen to me, y'all, how do you bring about change? Steve?
- 6:34Speaker 1: How do you change? Man? When you've ben't thought of everything? Well,
- 6:38Speaker 1: hold up, man, pray for it. Pray for change. Ask
- 6:42Speaker 1: God to help you change. Ask God what he wants
- 6:46Speaker 1: for you instead of always telling God what you want.
- 6:49Speaker 1: It's an interesting prayer to have with God. When you
- 6:53Speaker 1: quit going to God with your list and check in
- 6:57Speaker 1: with God and see what his list is. That's a
- 6:59Speaker 1: very real interesting prayer. If you're a praying person, I
- 7:03Speaker 1: suggest you try that sometimes. It's so interesting. Man, do
- 7:07Speaker 1: you know what he did for me when I started
- 7:08Speaker 1: asking God what he wanted for me? Instead of telling
- 7:11Speaker 1: God all the time. I still tell him what I want,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but instead of all the time going to Him with
- 7:17Speaker 1: what I want. You know what it did for me?
- 7:19Speaker 1: It freed me up. It took a lot of pressure off.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I no longer had to think of everything, and what
- 7:25Speaker 1: I was thinking of a lot of times wasn't work
- 7:27Speaker 1: in no way, and when I opened myself up to
- 7:30Speaker 1: what he wanted to what his wheel was. Man, do
- 7:34Speaker 1: you know how much simpler my life? God? And do
- 7:36Speaker 1: you know how much bigger it God? I'm trying to
- 7:38Speaker 1: tell you, man, if you pray for change and you
- 7:41Speaker 1: allow God to help you with the change, or if
- 7:44Speaker 1: you let God just produce the change, the changing, you
- 7:47Speaker 1: would be amazing. If you've been listening to me, especially
- 7:50Speaker 1: out in l A, since I was on the radio
- 7:52Speaker 1: since two thousand, can't you here to change? I'm flat
- 7:58Speaker 1: out telling you that a change has come. But I
- 8:02Speaker 1: had to pray for the change because I couldn't make
- 8:04Speaker 1: the change on my own. And then after you pray
- 8:07Speaker 1: for the change, you gotta work towards your trade change.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You know, as a faith without works is dead. Everybody
- 8:13Speaker 1: wants something from God. Always want to talk to God
- 8:16Speaker 1: about something, But then man, ain't ain't and don't don't
- 8:20Speaker 1: want to do nothing about it. Faith without works is dead.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You can't do it that way, man, It just does
- 8:26Speaker 1: not happen. So so after you didn't pray to God
- 8:30Speaker 1: about it, what you gotta do then is you gotta
- 8:33Speaker 1: turn around and go, hey, man, all right, now, what
- 8:35Speaker 1: is it I got to do. You know, you got
- 8:38Speaker 1: to do something to bring it about. So after you
- 8:42Speaker 1: pray for it, work for it, and do something today
- 8:45Speaker 1: about it. Stop procrastinating. Don't procrastinate, folks. The change can
- 8:51Speaker 1: start today. Man, I want to change. How about today?
- 8:56Speaker 1: You know then you see them saying people, Man, I
- 8:58Speaker 1: want to change, that's next we how about today? I
- 9:02Speaker 1: see people years later, Man, I'm still in the same
- 9:05Speaker 1: old situation. Man, I'm gonna do something. How about today?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Today is a good day. There's nothing stopping you from
- 9:12Speaker 1: changing today, nothing except you. You can begin the process
- 9:18Speaker 1: of change immediately. And change is growth, y'all. And ain't
- 9:22Speaker 1: no growth without changing. It's a simple thing. And I'm
- 9:26Speaker 1: talking to you in broad strokes because everybody got something
- 9:29Speaker 1: about them they need to change. That's why I'm not
- 9:31Speaker 1: specifically talking about anything. I got some things and me
- 9:35Speaker 1: didn't need to change so I can grow further. Everybody
- 9:41Speaker 1: the President got some things about him. He got to
- 9:43Speaker 1: change so he could grow further. Everybody has something about
- 9:49Speaker 1: them that they need to change in order to grow
- 9:53Speaker 1: further and then go further. Now we're stopping you is
- 9:56Speaker 1: you won't start to change today. Don't hesitate, make that change,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and then I want you to watch something. When you change,
- 10:06Speaker 1: watch the difference in you. Notice the difference in you.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But but better than that, man, feel the difference in you,
- 10:14Speaker 1: and guess what you're gonna be different. If you're watching
- 10:18Speaker 1: for the change, if you're feeling the change, then guess
- 10:21Speaker 1: what you're gonna be different. Man, Watch for the difference,
- 10:26Speaker 1: feel the difference. You will be different. If you're sick
- 10:29Speaker 1: and tired of your situation, folks, you can change that.
- 10:33Speaker 1: But the change is in you. It's a simple decision
- 10:36Speaker 1: you had to make. I'm gonna change. You know how
- 10:39Speaker 1: many brothers sitting up behind the wall, man in protective
- 10:42Speaker 1: custody because they didn't they because they didn't got out
- 10:45Speaker 1: the gangs. They just wanted out the games. Because they
- 10:49Speaker 1: discovered what gangs really are, what gangs really do, that
- 10:52Speaker 1: gangs is real self serving, that it really ain't about you.
- 10:56Speaker 1: And the moment you don't want to do with the game,
- 10:58Speaker 1: got to want you to do, no matter how dirty
- 11:00Speaker 1: or file it is. Then they done with you. Now
- 11:04Speaker 1: they're green like you. What hold up? Man? I was
- 11:08Speaker 1: your boy, all this dirt on the dirt. Yeah, but
- 11:11Speaker 1: I want you to do some more dirt. Hold up, man,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I gotta do something that my boy dog, just my
- 11:17Speaker 1: dude right here, Okay, I'll tell you what then we're
- 11:20Speaker 1: gonna do you. You know how many brothers I know man,
- 11:23Speaker 1: that got out the gang and it's in protective custody
- 11:26Speaker 1: in prison because they wanted to change. The change is
- 11:28Speaker 1: up to you. You can decide today if you want
- 11:32Speaker 1: to change, you want to be different. If you're sitting
- 11:34Speaker 1: behind the wall, I love speaking to the brothers and
- 11:37Speaker 1: sisters behind the wall. If you're behind the wall man,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and you're sitting tired of being behind the wall, man,
- 11:42Speaker 1: why don't you change? You've thought about that change? Man?
- 11:45Speaker 1: If I get back out there, I'm gonna just do
- 11:47Speaker 1: the same thing. Stop saying that. Stop saying that, man,
- 11:51Speaker 1: Stop breathing that negativity into your life. Decide today that
- 11:54Speaker 1: you want to change. You can do it. Everybody can change.
- 11:58Speaker 1: If you don't know how to change, pray for it, man,
- 12:00Speaker 1: ask God to help you with the change. All you
- 12:03Speaker 1: get some movement, then, partner, you get a whole lot
- 12:06Speaker 1: of movement. Then, and that dude, uh uh, somebody works
- 12:11Speaker 1: with me? My girl who works with me? Tracy's in
- 12:13Speaker 1: the Cortez pack cortas p A c could be nicknamed.
- 12:18Speaker 1: His Twitter name is Oprah Husband. That's his Twitter name
- 12:23Speaker 1: at Oprah husband. I think his name is court his pack.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Hey man, Steve Harve, I got your tweet. Man. I'm
- 12:28Speaker 1: feeling you though, partner, and I appreciate you listening to me.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You understand I usually didn't want to hear it too.
- 12:34Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show eighteen minutes after
- 12:42Speaker 1: the hour. Good morning, everybody. I have something I want
- 12:48Speaker 1: to do today. Jeral Evert has been on my heart
- 12:53Speaker 1: for the past three weeks and in my dressing room,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I've been playing in my lot and I just wanted
- 13:02Speaker 1: to share with y'all two great songs that he did.
- 13:08Speaker 1: His last one was in My Songs, and I want
- 13:14Speaker 1: you to hear the introduction that his father, Eddie did
- 13:18Speaker 1: after his son had passed about this song. Uh. It
- 13:24Speaker 1: was really, really, really great moment of a father's love
- 13:28Speaker 1: for his son. And then after that, I'm gonna play
- 13:32Speaker 1: Funny Funny, which is a jam that I'm not sure
- 13:39Speaker 1: Marjorie knows, but I've claimed it as one of our
- 13:43Speaker 1: songs now because it describes exactly what was going on
- 13:49Speaker 1: on the day Like today, I got out my bed,
- 13:52Speaker 1: nothing seemed to go my way, trying to find some
- 13:56Speaker 1: peace within, ain't no rest for nowhere, remin trying to
- 14:02Speaker 1: find something. Everything I do every time I think it's
- 14:07Speaker 1: sort of kind of got me down, looked all over
- 14:11Speaker 1: the place, just trying to find a smile. Then the
- 14:15Speaker 1: phone rang and an angel sang hello, and it's funny
- 14:23Speaker 1: you should call today. Girl has been too long. I
- 14:29Speaker 1: thought you just moved on. It's funny you should call today.
- 14:35Speaker 1: You always found a way to make my day. Lord Hammers,
- 14:42Speaker 1: that is our jam and she don't even know it.
- 14:49Speaker 1: We all of trouble. So I'm gonna play those back
- 14:52Speaker 1: to back this morning. It's a different kind of morning.
- 14:54Speaker 1: That's all. I want to thank you all for loving
- 14:58Speaker 1: and supporting myself, his career. Just Black History what's to do?
- 15:09Speaker 1: From yesterday that we had on the rayforst. Jackson. The
- 15:15Speaker 1: first or reporter comments back that you're listening, Steve Harpy
- 15:22Speaker 1: shout all right here, I'm in no rayfort Jackson. That
- 15:28Speaker 1: we're here with not a known Black History Month moment. Tommic,
- 15:35Speaker 1: thank you know Rapers. Not this right here is seventeen
- 15:40Speaker 1: eighty nine. Uh, Dyna Might Dougas from the Dougas plantation.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Uh called his woman Lula Bell in the log cabin
- 15:52Speaker 1: with Big Buck the Bronco Buster. Now Dyna Might Douglas
- 15:57Speaker 1: ran and tried to get Master Douglas good. And when
- 16:00Speaker 1: he saw what he thought, Uh, he was gonna kill
- 16:04Speaker 1: Big Buck the Bronco buster. He couldn't find Master's gun,
- 16:08Speaker 1: but he found his bullets. He got ten bullets and
- 16:13Speaker 1: took all the gunpied out, rolled it up in the
- 16:16Speaker 1: heavy paper with a string on it. He lit it
- 16:20Speaker 1: and threw it in the cabin right behind big books butt.
- 16:25Speaker 1: And that thing exploded and Blue big Bucks as clean off.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Now him and Lula Bell come running out the cabin
- 16:33Speaker 1: butt niked. And that, my friends, was how Dyna Might
- 16:39Speaker 1: was invented and introduced to the world. Dynam Might do
- 16:44Speaker 1: this a black history legre. Well now you've heard it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Another Black History month. Tomorrow we will be finding out
- 16:53Speaker 1: what happened with coulters Foot after all, because everybody has
- 16:59Speaker 1: lost their alright, we'll find one. Come on, Joe, Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: you got to go to break now. We ain't got
- 17:18Speaker 1: time for that. That's the other thing about Black History time,
- 17:21Speaker 1: how we got on time? It's still a mystery. Coming
- 17:26Speaker 1: up next to Run That Prank Back. This one's called
- 17:29Speaker 1: the Vacation right now, Yeah, the Vacation. Alright, we'll be back.
- 17:35Speaker 1: You're listening alright for eight minutes after the hour. Get
- 17:44Speaker 1: ready this morning, y'all, cause coming up at the top
- 17:47Speaker 1: of the album, it's ain't gonna be here with today's headlines.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Plus we're gonna talk about the best way to get
- 17:52Speaker 1: over a break up. Oh. I can't wait to hear that.
- 17:57Speaker 1: This is running that prank back. This is you married
- 18:00Speaker 1: your brother. Some of y'all haven't done it. No, I
- 18:07Speaker 1: just don't know. He tod of you didn't done it
- 18:09Speaker 1: though this happened. Yeah, hello, along, I'm trying to reach
- 18:19Speaker 1: a your common place. Hi, Carmen, my name is Keith Keeping.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I'm calling you from the insurance group. Hi. How are
- 18:27Speaker 1: you good? You and your husband? Uh? What is it? Harvey? Harvey?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Is that right? Okay? You guys actually put applications and
- 18:36Speaker 1: actually went in and got your physicals done for life
- 18:38Speaker 1: for insurance, right, Yeah, yeah, that's correct. Okay. I actually
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm calling you from the insurance group. I have you
- 18:44Speaker 1: alls lab results and everything as far as your physicals
- 18:47Speaker 1: and blood tests and things of that nature. Is there
- 18:50Speaker 1: any way I could possibly talk to both of you
- 18:53Speaker 1: guys at the same time, you and Harvey. Is that possible? Um? Well, sure,
- 18:56Speaker 1: he's at work right now, but I can get him
- 18:59Speaker 1: on the side. Okay, It would be uh, it would
- 19:02Speaker 1: be kind of easy if I kind of explained everything
- 19:03Speaker 1: to both of you guys at the same time. Is
- 19:05Speaker 1: that if that's okay? Okay? Some wrong? Uh? No, nothing's wrong.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I mean I think I need to just try to
- 19:10Speaker 1: bring a few things that you guys attention. But I
- 19:12Speaker 1: think you know, after that, it's pretty much you guys
- 19:14Speaker 1: decision on what you do. But I just wanted to
- 19:16Speaker 1: let you know a few things about you know, the
- 19:18Speaker 1: results and things that nature, your life, insurance, the whole
- 19:21Speaker 1: nine yards. Okay, Okay, let me see talking to him
- 19:25Speaker 1: on the phone. Hey, babe, Hey, sweetheart. Um look, I
- 19:33Speaker 1: got the insurance people on the line. They want to
- 19:36Speaker 1: get both of us on the phone, uh, to talk
- 19:38Speaker 1: to us about the insurance stuff. Hey, Harvey, are you
- 19:42Speaker 1: doing this? Is Keith Keep from the insurance group? How
- 19:45Speaker 1: are you? Hey? Good with that? Nikky? Good? Good? Listen, Um,
- 19:48Speaker 1: I wanted to give you guys a call and kind
- 19:50Speaker 1: of follow up. And you guys did physicals and blood
- 19:53Speaker 1: tests and the whole nine yards, and I wanted to
- 19:54Speaker 1: give you guys a call. It's kind of better if
- 19:56Speaker 1: I talked to both of you guys at the same time. So,
- 19:58Speaker 1: do you have a minute that we can actually use
- 20:00Speaker 1: a kind of get some of this information out to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 1: I'm fine. I'm gonna break right now. We're good. Okay, great.
- 20:06Speaker 1: First of all, we've gotten all your your lab results
- 20:08Speaker 1: back everything, and I kind of got a few questions
- 20:11Speaker 1: for you guys that I'm a little puzzled on. How
- 20:15Speaker 1: long have you guys actually been married. We've been again
- 20:18Speaker 1: about three years, okay, now, prior to being married three years.
- 20:22Speaker 1: How long did you guys know each other before you
- 20:24Speaker 1: got married? About five and a half five six years years? Okay,
- 20:30Speaker 1: You guys have been knowing each other pretty close to
- 20:31Speaker 1: nine years now altogether. Yeah, okay. Are you actually from
- 20:35Speaker 1: the same hometowns? You grew up in the same hometown? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 1: we grew up. I mean, if I'm I'm sorry, is
- 20:42Speaker 1: this question I mean, is this about the insurance or well,
- 20:46Speaker 1: I mean there are two things that's that actually uh puzzling, Carmen,
- 20:50Speaker 1: that we need to this this this is some news
- 20:54Speaker 1: that I actually didn't want to bring you, guys. I
- 20:56Speaker 1: mean we have to. I have to actually give you
- 20:59Speaker 1: this in looking at our records, looking at all the
- 21:02Speaker 1: test results, and let me be the first to tell
- 21:04Speaker 1: you that we run these results over and over and
- 21:06Speaker 1: over trying to make sure we are completely a hundred
- 21:09Speaker 1: and right. Okay, it's a problem with the test. Well,
- 21:13Speaker 1: looking at our test, guys, Harvey or Garment, it's indicating
- 21:18Speaker 1: that you guys are related. And nine times I attend
- 21:22Speaker 1: you are you guys are siblings? Hold man, what and
- 21:31Speaker 1: I understand the shot. It took me. It took everything
- 21:34Speaker 1: I had to make this phone call. I did not
- 21:36Speaker 1: want to make it. But looking at our records and
- 21:38Speaker 1: we went over these records over and over and and
- 21:41Speaker 1: and the blow work tells us that you guys are
- 21:44Speaker 1: actually siblings. Man, help kids. Are you serious, ma'am? I'm
- 21:53Speaker 1: actually this is not that. This is not a laughing matter,
- 21:57Speaker 1: not a joking matter. You know. I got said I
- 22:00Speaker 1: did not want to call with this information. What you did?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Make the call? Man? Look, I don't know what. You
- 22:08Speaker 1: need to go back and and and double check your
- 22:10Speaker 1: records or something because you've been married three brief check
- 22:15Speaker 1: with the lab man, can you check with the lab
- 22:17Speaker 1: and like paul us back and I and I knew
- 22:21Speaker 1: those questions would have come up, and we we went
- 22:24Speaker 1: over it. We went over it and over and over it.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Y'all need to go over again because oh babe, I
- 22:32Speaker 1: got this. You make the call and this gotta be wrong.

- 22:41Speaker 1: us know that you either you know, they made a
- 22:43Speaker 1: mistake of you talking about me and my wife, and
- 22:47Speaker 1: I understand it hard, Harry. Let me ask you this
- 22:49Speaker 1: is it possible, you know? And this is just a question.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Is it possible that your dad and maybe her mom
- 22:55Speaker 1: maybe knew each other at some point and you saying
- 22:59Speaker 1: by my mom and dad that that that's so straight?
- 23:02Speaker 1: Look at you need to hand go back and do
- 23:04Speaker 1: whatever you need to do. But I think you like

- 23:42Speaker 1: my damn brother I got. I'm gonna find out you
- 23:46Speaker 1: off whatever jupicle you in. You're gonna call me something
- 23:48Speaker 1: about brother. It's my wife. I am sing that song
- 23:53Speaker 1: somewhere down the line. Somebody made a mistake and you guys,
- 23:56Speaker 1: my brother and sister got married. I'm not at fart
- 23:59Speaker 1: for that. Let change you to he's on one of

- 27:33Speaker 1: could ignore a person a lot better women. I was
- 27:41Speaker 1: no phone rang, so you could really ignore a person.

- 28:03Speaker 1: time I said, this club called Reasons Reasons up a
- 28:07Speaker 1: shaker square. Me and Big was in now and a
- 28:12Speaker 1: girl that I was dating that I just got tired of.
- 28:15Speaker 1: She was just I hadn't called it like in two weeks.
- 28:19Speaker 1: You just got tired. I mean, man, she was tiring.

- 28:56Speaker 1: my mama's house. I'm at reasons. I'm standing at the

- 31:04Speaker 1: community centers around the country. Eleven reportedly received telephone bomb
- 31:08Speaker 1: threats on Monday. However, authorities say they appeared to be hoaxes.
- 31:12Speaker 1: The Jewish Community Center Association of North America says the

- 31:35Speaker 1: threats targeting our Jewish community and community centers are horrible
- 31:41Speaker 1: and are painful and a very sad reminder of the
- 31:45Speaker 1: work that still must be done to root out hate
- 31:50Speaker 1: and prejudice and evil. Trump was criticized last month, you
- 31:53Speaker 1: may remember, for issuing a statement on International Holocaust Remembrance
- 31:57Speaker 1: Day without mentioning either Jews or anti Semitism. He issued

- 32:15Speaker 1: in which he appears to condone pedophilia, something that he
- 32:18Speaker 1: is denying. The controversies prompted a publisher to canceled his
- 32:21Speaker 1: book deal, and he was also disinvited as a key
- 32:24Speaker 1: speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference. The Trump administration
- 32:28Speaker 1: and Portly still plans to expand the deportations of immigrants
- 32:31Speaker 1: who are in the US illegally. Under the new rules
- 32:34Speaker 1: released this week, they're casting a wider net for aliens
- 32:37Speaker 1: who could be deported. They now include people that are
- 32:40Speaker 1: convicted of only minor crimes like maybe you're driving without
- 32:42Speaker 1: a driver's license or something like that. Deep Hannah's Border
- 32:46Speaker 1: Agency beefing things up, a lot of folks crossing in Quebec,
- 32:48Speaker 1: sod of putting more agents there. And today is National
- 32:51Speaker 1: cook a Sweet Potato Day. I could just taste that pile.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Why did it this way? Come on, Patty, Come on, Patty, Patty.

- 41:42Speaker 1: been available here in the past. Okay, okay, all right.
- 41:46Speaker 1: The last one is reesa do you um, do you
- 41:49Speaker 1: wear a hair? We've what? Do you wear? A hair
- 41:53Speaker 1: weave or a wig? Okay, well, here's one thing and
- 41:57Speaker 1: hopefully you can get this change about tomorrow. There's no
- 42:00Speaker 1: weaves or hair or wigs gonna be allowed, uh at
- 42:05Speaker 1: the job site from this point on. So as of
- 42:07Speaker 1: tomorrow morning, everyone must be wearing their natural hair. You're joking, Uh, No,
- 42:13Speaker 1: these are the issues that are gonna be that are
- 42:16Speaker 1: in stated, and these are going to take effect as
- 42:18Speaker 1: of tomorrow morning, seven o'clock. What does hair We've to
- 42:21Speaker 1: have to do with any of these changes? The first
- 42:23Speaker 1: two I can understand punching in and being on the internet. Yes,
- 42:27Speaker 1: that's something that that corporate. But have we eve and
- 42:31Speaker 1: you're getting interchangings? Are they're looking down upon it? Uh,
- 42:36Speaker 1: wigs and hair weaves they have to go. So I'm
- 42:40Speaker 1: assuming that if you, like you said, you do have one,
- 42:45Speaker 1: doesn't come out there taking it down now and prepare
- 42:48Speaker 1: your hair to be natural as you come into work tomorrow.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I'm not taking my hair down. I've been here seven
- 42:53Speaker 1: years and I've dealt with all the changes that y'all
- 42:55Speaker 1: have made. But there's no way that I'm taking my
- 42:58Speaker 1: hair we've down. I'm all right, what's your name? Byron? Yes,
- 43:01Speaker 1: my name is Byron, And I'm sorry, let's get back
- 43:06Speaker 1: to your we've this has you're gonna have to do something?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Is there someone that you can call tonight to help
- 43:11Speaker 1: you get your hair down and so you can look
- 43:13Speaker 1: presentable with your natural hair tomorrow? No, My, We've called
- 43:16Speaker 1: over two or three dollars and I'm not about to
- 43:19Speaker 1: take that down. I mean, it takes a long time
- 43:22Speaker 1: to take that down. Okay, Um, I mean, is this
- 43:25Speaker 1: something Maybe you can take it down and just wear
- 43:28Speaker 1: it on the weekends because as of now, you're not
- 43:30Speaker 1: gonna be allowed to actually wear it on the property.
- 43:33Speaker 1: And how will you know if someone has weave or not?
- 43:36Speaker 1: Are you gonna do head checks or something? Okay, I'm ma'am.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure what they're gonna do to check it.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But by you telling me that you you have a we've,
- 43:46Speaker 1: then I have to write it down that you have
- 43:49Speaker 1: confirmed that you do, and we got to make sure
- 43:51Speaker 1: that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one. But you don't
- 43:53Speaker 1: know what my natural hair looks like from my we've.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Are you heard how much I pay for it? So
- 43:59Speaker 1: it's a weave, ma'am. It's not about how good you
- 44:03Speaker 1: know with the quality of your weaver or anything. They
- 44:05Speaker 1: don't want it. They want natural hair. I don't know
- 44:08Speaker 1: what that means. But they're going natural. They're going green,
- 44:11Speaker 1: they're going natural. I don't know what it is. They're
- 44:13Speaker 1: going natural, and so will you. Tomorrow morning you need
- 44:16Speaker 1: to come in with your hair completely down. Okay, I'm
- 44:19Speaker 1: gonna do it. I'm not taking my weave now. Okay,
- 44:22Speaker 1: what is that y'all gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am?
- 44:25Speaker 1: Do you not want your job? Yeah? I want my job,
- 44:27Speaker 1: But this don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I can understand y'all have a dress coach and enforcing
- 44:33Speaker 1: a dress code, that's one thing. But telling somebody to
- 44:37Speaker 1: change that. Have you lost your morn man? You're crazy, ma'am.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I have other people that I have
- 44:43Speaker 1: to call. Bottom line is get your hat out and
- 44:46Speaker 1: get your butt into work tomorrow, and let's not go
- 44:49Speaker 1: back and forth anymore. Okay, Well, listen, by rand you're
- 44:52Speaker 1: a low mine. If you're thinking I'm taking my we've
- 44:56Speaker 1: I'm not taking out at all. Refa is coming up
- 45:00Speaker 1: and with her hair and I'm gonna sit down in
- 45:02Speaker 1: my desk and do jobs. Y'all gonna have to drag
- 45:04Speaker 1: me out there. Have some weed? You lost your mind?
- 45:08Speaker 1: You and your powers that be, or whoever they may be.
- 45:11Speaker 1: You tell them that I said that. Wait a minute,
- 45:13Speaker 1: Wait a minute, listen, are you telling me that you're
- 45:16Speaker 1: coming in regardless with your hair on right, That's what
- 45:19Speaker 1: I just said. Are you then then we need Why
- 45:24Speaker 1: don't you go ahead and bring some boxes in because
- 45:27Speaker 1: you may? I'm not you bring this man, I don't
- 45:31Speaker 1: want to have to pack. You get your stuff and
- 45:32Speaker 1: box it up, and you're losing your job because you
- 45:35Speaker 1: can't take it. You know what? You can do that
- 45:37Speaker 1: because I'm a call the news station and tell them
- 45:39Speaker 1: you're dragging me out of behind some weeds. Who wrong?
- 45:43Speaker 1: You're wrong? You're wrong? You stupid behind? Are you gonna?
- 45:47Speaker 1: You need to watch your language, young lady? Why I
- 45:49Speaker 1: need to watch my language? I'm at home. You call
- 45:51Speaker 1: me on my own home phone and on my time.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I'm at my house. I'm not on your flock. I
- 45:56Speaker 1: say what I want to say on my phone. Okay?
- 45:59Speaker 1: Can I say I want on my phone? And then
- 46:01Speaker 1: I'll let you go and you can come into the
- 46:03Speaker 1: work anyway you want to tomorrow. What is it? Bible?
- 46:05Speaker 1: What else you got to say? I want to tell you.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I want to tell you that your girlfriend Jennifer at
- 46:11Speaker 1: your job got me to prank phone call you. This
- 46:14Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show. He
- 46:21Speaker 1: just said, I know you, hey, reason this is this
- 46:27Speaker 1: is not your time, baby, from the Steve Harby more
- 46:29Speaker 1: than's your Jennifer, your co worker got me to prank
- 46:32Speaker 1: phone called pressure. I'm gonna kill tomorrow and I'm gonna
- 46:37Speaker 1: pull a hole weave out. You want to come down
- 46:39Speaker 1: there and watch me drink out of the blood pressure.
- 46:45Speaker 1: You can't be doing that to me behind my weave.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I paid too much money. I definitely kids. Ain't nothing
- 46:51Speaker 1: like a black woman and her hall. Oh man, okay, baby,
- 46:58Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, girl, what
- 47:00Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show
- 47:03Speaker 1: in the land. Well after this, Frank keeping it stupid
- 47:11Speaker 1: stupid is coming to Lake Charles. That's me, nephew Tommy
- 47:15Speaker 1: coming that way. Oh my god, one night only at
- 47:18Speaker 1: the Civic Center March the four. Tickets on sale right now.
- 47:21Speaker 1: That's me, that's Oatmeal, that's Eugene. Oh my god. You
- 47:24Speaker 1: don't want to miss it, Lake Charles. Everybody around the
- 47:26Speaker 1: way that life yet. Yeah, all y'all get your tickets.
- 47:30Speaker 1: The fool is coming to town. Tickets on sale right now.
- 47:35Speaker 1: March four. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 47:42Speaker 1: It's that time, y'all buckle left hold on letter twins. Alright,
- 47:49Speaker 1: here we go with the Strawberry letters subject the sad,
- 47:53Speaker 1: lonely crazy girl. I have a problem. I'm confused and hurt.
- 47:57Speaker 1: There's a guy that I've been often on went since
- 48:00Speaker 1: I was since I was thirteen. Now I'm twenty two.
- 48:04Speaker 1: At seventeen, I got pregnant and at eighteen I had
- 48:06Speaker 1: our beautiful daughter. Problem is, I have had nothing but
- 48:09Speaker 1: heartache since day one with him. I love him. He
- 48:11Speaker 1: took my virginity and we've been through a lot with
- 48:14Speaker 1: each other. At this point, I do not think he
- 48:16Speaker 1: is the one for me. But my question to you, Steve,
- 48:19Speaker 1: is does he or has he ever loved me? He
- 48:23Speaker 1: says all the time. If he didn't love me, we
- 48:25Speaker 1: wouldn't have went as far as we have. But when
- 48:27Speaker 1: my baby told me he had her in the bed
- 48:30Speaker 1: with another girl and I confronted him about it, his
- 48:32Speaker 1: response was I did this to us, meaning he wanted
- 48:35Speaker 1: me to have an abortion. I have done pretty much
- 48:38Speaker 1: everything he's asked me to do. I go out of
- 48:40Speaker 1: my way to make sure he is happy and that
- 48:42Speaker 1: I don't do anything to upset him. He tells me
- 48:44Speaker 1: when he is ready to get married, I will be
- 48:46Speaker 1: the one. But when he gets mad, he says he
- 48:48Speaker 1: doesn't want me. Then, on top of all that, he
- 48:50Speaker 1: calls me the crazy girl. I hit him with the car,
- 48:53Speaker 1: want but he called me the B word and dared
- 48:55Speaker 1: me to do it. And I threw a knife at
- 48:57Speaker 1: his head another time, but he drugged me around on
- 49:00Speaker 1: the whole house by my hair. He makes it seem
- 49:03Speaker 1: to other people that he is innocent and I'm crazy
- 49:05Speaker 1: the differences. I will blow up in front of any
- 49:08Speaker 1: and everybody, but he waits until we're done. So does
- 49:10Speaker 1: he or has he ever loved me? And if not,
- 49:12Speaker 1: surely how do I let him go? Sign confused, hurt
- 49:15Speaker 1: and broken? Uh No, I don't believe he loves you,
- 49:19Speaker 1: because no man who really loves a woman would ever
- 49:21Speaker 1: treat her this way. Because you've got with him so young,
- 49:25Speaker 1: this is all you know. But it's not right. He's cheating,
- 49:29Speaker 1: he's dragging you around by his by by your hair,
- 49:32Speaker 1: he's disrespecting you. You're hitting him with the car, throwing
- 49:35Speaker 1: knives at him. This is not a normal relationship. I
- 49:38Speaker 1: just need you to know that you've been with this
- 49:40Speaker 1: guy since thirteen. This is not normal. Your issue is
- 49:43Speaker 1: does he love you? Or how do you let him go?
- 49:44Speaker 1: But it should be really, do you love yourself? The
- 49:48Speaker 1: more you concentrate on loving you and yourself, the more
- 49:51Speaker 1: you see you'll see that he's not the man for you.
- 49:54Speaker 1: I mean, really, this is crazy and you are crazy,
- 49:57Speaker 1: and you're doing all this stuff. Ah, you want to
- 50:04Speaker 1: do yours when we come back. Okay, we'll be right back.
- 50:07Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve har Eighteen minutes after that hour
- 50:15Speaker 1: we come back, I got part to it is letter
- 50:17Speaker 1: coming out appreciate alright, Steve the sad, lonely crazy girl.
- 50:30Speaker 1: That is a subject. You're crazy girl because you've you've
- 50:34Speaker 1: been pushed this way. You gotta understand something. First of all,
- 50:37Speaker 1: you've been owning off with a boy since your thirteen
- 50:40Speaker 1: the only thing you've ever known. You don't know yourself,
- 50:43Speaker 1: He don't know himself who you're all started out liking,
- 50:46Speaker 1: y'all with children. Now, as you're growing into yourselves as adults,
- 50:51Speaker 1: you're finding out that maybe the two you don't like
- 50:53Speaker 1: each other at all, let alone love. Yeah. And now
- 50:57Speaker 1: the fact that your baby then told you that she
- 51:00Speaker 1: he was in bed with her with another woman. Okay,
- 51:03Speaker 1: now what you're doing now, if you don't think that
- 51:06Speaker 1: that pushes a woman over the edge to act a
- 51:08Speaker 1: little bit differently, please, you have a built in excuse
- 51:11Speaker 1: now the fact that he called you crazy girl you
- 51:14Speaker 1: hit him with the car wants but he called you
- 51:17Speaker 1: to be word and then dad, you to do it? Well,
- 51:21Speaker 1: if you call a woman to be word and she
- 51:24Speaker 1: behind the wheel of the car, and then I dare
- 51:26Speaker 1: you to do it? Here come the car getting ready
- 51:30Speaker 1: for that? Now? I threw a knife at his head, Okay,
- 51:36Speaker 1: at his head, though I'm sure there was a reason
- 51:38Speaker 1: for that. Okay. Then he drugged you around the house
- 51:41Speaker 1: by your health man, what y'all doing? Y'all need to split,
- 51:46Speaker 1: y'all need before this goes somewhere else, because right now
- 51:48Speaker 1: the stuff is getting worse. The letter got worse. So
- 51:52Speaker 1: does he or has he ever loved me? If not? Surely,
- 51:57Speaker 1: how do I let him go? Sign? Confuse was hurting broken? See,
- 52:02Speaker 1: you don't know your full potential because you've never reached it.
- 52:06Speaker 1: You don't know what you're capable of because you've never
- 52:09Speaker 1: done it or even try. Uh, Sometimes you got to
- 52:14Speaker 1: go to grow. Everybody, come with you can't go with you.
- 52:19Speaker 1: I know it sounds cliche as its corn is too
- 52:22Speaker 1: light for this moment, but we only have a couple
- 52:24Speaker 1: of minutes here. Uh. He took my virginity and we've
- 52:28Speaker 1: been through a lot together. Look, every woman gets that
- 52:31Speaker 1: taken at one point in time. That ain't the reason
- 52:33Speaker 1: to hang on. Most women will tell you, most grown women,
- 52:36Speaker 1: that the one who took it initially wasn't worth worth
- 52:39Speaker 1: giving it to in the first place, if you really
- 52:41Speaker 1: look at it. So take that off your plate because
- 52:46Speaker 1: that's who you gave it to. Get that out of
- 52:49Speaker 1: your mind. Don't compound the mistake. You gave it to
- 52:55Speaker 1: a fool. Now you're gonna stay with the food. Don't
- 52:59Speaker 1: don't come pound and mistake. So if I were you, sweetheart,
- 53:04Speaker 1: I would take this opportunity. Uh. Your man is cheating
- 53:08Speaker 1: on your in bed with your daughter. That's the ultimate
- 53:12Speaker 1: form of disrespect your house, your bed, with your baby,
- 53:17Speaker 1: laying that. I don't know how much more disrespectful you
- 53:23Speaker 1: can be. Uh, go on with your life. How do
- 53:27Speaker 1: you let him go? You just start over? Let it go,
- 53:30Speaker 1: but find the strength. Go to church, talk to some
- 53:33Speaker 1: older people, get you some help. Uh, talk to some,
- 53:40Speaker 1: but go get your life back before you waste any
- 53:43Speaker 1: more time in it. That's my suggestion. All right, Today's
- 53:46Speaker 1: letter is posted on Steve Harvey dot com. You can tweeter,
- 53:49Speaker 1: instagram me your thoughts at my girl. Surely. Now coming
- 53:53Speaker 1: up after the break at thirty four after the hour,
- 53:55Speaker 1: Miss Anne is gonna be here with this hour's headlines
- 53:58Speaker 1: and we'll tell you about the fake Cisco at a
- 54:01Speaker 1: New York Fashion Week What what do you guys hear this?
- 54:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, Yeah, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 54:15Speaker 1: Morning Show. Thirty four minutes after that. Now we're back,
- 54:18Speaker 1: coming up right after this, we got more news with
- 54:21Speaker 1: ms Aan Trip. Okay, So there's a man who apparently
- 54:30Speaker 1: posed as Cisco case. You guys don't know who Cisco is.
- 54:34Speaker 1: He's an R and B singer. He was with the
- 54:35Speaker 1: group Drew Hill Uh. He talked his way into fashion
- 54:39Speaker 1: week shows, allegedly manipulated the stylist to get him backstage.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Page six revealed the false Cisco Uh bagged front row
- 54:48Speaker 1: seats for shows, but was rumbled when he tried to
- 54:51Speaker 1: hop on a New Yorker's private jet and asked to
- 54:54Speaker 1: hand over passport details, which revealed his real name. Fake
- 54:58Speaker 1: Cisco told other guests at the fashion shows, I am
- 55:01Speaker 1: a singer. Yes, that's me Cisco, but please keep it
- 55:05Speaker 1: on the low. Stylists and witnesses say people were talking
- 55:08Speaker 1: taking him backstage to snap pictures and meet Paris Hilton
- 55:12Speaker 1: and Tiffany Trump, the daughter of the president. Uh yeah,
- 55:16Speaker 1: the real Cisco, by the way, is on tour. Just
- 55:19Speaker 1: appeared in Vegas. He had the platinum hand everything, Yes,
- 55:23Speaker 1: the glasses and everything. I see. Wow, a lot of
- 55:29Speaker 1: people remember that Thong song. Huh oh, yeah, that was classic.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Who didn't. Why are you walking in talking about um Cisco? Yes,
- 55:36Speaker 1: that's me. How you get to the president's daughter yet
- 55:43Speaker 1: the next time you're talking to next time you talked
- 55:45Speaker 1: to Trump, you need you gotta be careful with you
- 55:49Speaker 1: had to that next time I talked to Trump? Win
- 55:56Speaker 1: keep all this time? Many? How many moons? You ain't
- 55:59Speaker 1: singing when nephews? Okay, you started all this drama. Yeah,
- 56:05Speaker 1: well you know now you're gonna bring it up. We're
- 56:09Speaker 1: not going down there without me knowing about it. I
- 56:12Speaker 1: ain't got to tell you nothing, you know what I'm saying?
- 56:15Speaker 1: All right, Well, now Steve. It's time for miss Anne.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, missing trip. Thank you. Okay, good morning everybody,
- 56:25Speaker 1: this is an trip with the news morning. Okay, all right,
- 56:28Speaker 1: let's get serious here for a minute. You know, this
- 56:31Speaker 1: is I got to talk about Africa. I haven't talked
- 56:32Speaker 1: about it for a while, but you know, African aid
- 56:35Speaker 1: workers say that the ongoing conflict in Sudan has triggered
- 56:38Speaker 1: massive shortages and pushed close to a million people to
- 56:40Speaker 1: the brink of starvation. In fact three, you and an
- 56:43Speaker 1: agency say that large numbers of children in Sudan South
- 56:46Speaker 1: Sudan especially going to starve to death this year unless
- 56:49Speaker 1: something changes. The ongoing fighting and the resulting lack of
- 56:52Speaker 1: resources also hampering efforts at sending in relief. You can't
- 56:54Speaker 1: send anything down because they're shooting and everything, and then
- 56:57Speaker 1: the Souldiers take everything and do not give to the
- 57:00Speaker 1: people who lived there. The Trump administration reportedly still plans
- 57:04Speaker 1: to expand the deportations of immigrants who are in the
- 57:06Speaker 1: US illegally under new rules released this week by the
- 57:09Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security. The guidelines are casting a wider
- 57:12Speaker 1: net for aliens who could be deported now, including those
- 57:16Speaker 1: convicted of like minor crimes like driving without driver's license
- 57:19Speaker 1: or something like that. During the Obama administration, deportation was
- 57:22Speaker 1: mostly reserved for serious criminals, but White House spokesman Sean
- 57:25Speaker 1: Spices says that was too restrictive. Last administration had so
- 57:29Speaker 1: many carve outs for who could be and who couldn't
- 57:31Speaker 1: be adjudicated, and it made it very difficult for the
- 57:33Speaker 1: customs and enforcement people to do their job and enforce
- 57:36Speaker 1: the laws of this country well. By the way, President
- 57:39Speaker 1: Trump visited the National Museum of African American History and
- 57:42Speaker 1: Culture in Washington yesterday, and White House spokesman Showing Spices
- 57:45Speaker 1: says the President found it to be a moving experience.
- 57:48Speaker 1: It really is enlightening as far as parts of our
- 57:51Speaker 1: history that people may not fully appreciate or now, and
- 57:54Speaker 1: the contributions and the sacrifices that so many Americans have
- 57:57Speaker 1: made um that are there are critical piece to our
- 58:00Speaker 1: history that sometimes don't get the attention they deserve. Laun't
- 58:03Speaker 1: you start by seeing hidden figures. Thousands of retired NFL
- 58:06Speaker 1: players have reportedly signed up for a concussion settlement. Oh
- 58:10Speaker 1: I was I'm sorry, I didn't know it was, you know,
- 58:13Speaker 1: audible there are lawsuits contending, let me back to, thousands
- 58:19Speaker 1: of retired NFL players are reportantly signing up for concussion settlement,
- 58:23Speaker 1: their lawsuits contending that the National Football League officials covered
- 58:26Speaker 1: up the long term impact of head injuries. USU UPS
- 58:30Speaker 1: says the company is looking to trim a lot of
- 58:32Speaker 1: people by saving a billion dollars a year, replacing as
- 58:35Speaker 1: many employees as they can with machines worldwide. Today's power
- 58:39Speaker 1: ball jack bought four three million dollars. Okay, guys, you're listening,
- 58:43Speaker 1: I'd be cloude, be cool with just one million. I'm
- 58:45Speaker 1: not greedy. And today is National cook of Sweet Potato
- 58:48Speaker 1: Day and I could just taste that my own. Why
- 58:52Speaker 1: did come on? Patty Patty sweep Tato Patty Day? Back
- 59:00Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey, Boy, did Joe all right? Coming up?
- 59:03Speaker 1: Thank you? MS and coming up after this, we're going
- 59:05Speaker 1: to the phones to find out how you cope with
- 59:08Speaker 1: your breakups. Call us eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve

- 59:24Speaker 1: handle a breakup for you, m let's go to the phone. Uh.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Now that we've just had the most common breakup time
- 59:37Speaker 1: of the year, right after Valentine's Day, more singles need
- 59:40Speaker 1: to figure out just how to mend their hearts. Their
- 59:42Speaker 1: broken hearts, call us and tell us how did you
- 59:45Speaker 1: get over your breakup? Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve
- 59:49Speaker 1: Line five, Kevin, Wisconsin, Steve, They're gonna keep calling you do.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I don't give a damn Cane, don't give a damn
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you is still bothering. Kevin is on the line. Dog,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: it don't dog. I reversed it. That's how I handle it.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: So you can't handle it. I can't handle it. And
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be too many more, nephew, Kilo, Dog,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: that's not gonna like that. How many more? No? No

- 1:01:05Speaker 1: And the question is how do you handle a break up?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: How do you handle a breakup? It depends on the
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: level of the relationship. If you experience what most of
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: us went through in life, which would be your first
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: heard breakup? What would be like? Uh, what's your first baby?

- 1:01:25Speaker 1: You know when you do ten years with him and uh,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: you you drive across country and you come home from
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: work in your whole entire house is empty except for
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: your stuff, and you ain't seen your oldest kid in
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: the last eight years, and you pay to support. That's
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: a rough pill to swallow. Yeah, you just got real.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: This was specific. This ain't nothing, This ain't a free call.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: So what you do, man? How did you have it? Uh? Basically? Uh,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: seven years later and four kids later? Uh a easy
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: is your heart and let you live life again? Yeah?
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So now you got five kids, man, five kids? I
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: got four boys and one girl. Take care of all
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: of them. Okay, Well you are right, man, you're in
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: You're in shape. Mahuh, how do you get d with
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: losing a woman, Junior? I don't. I don't. I stalk.

- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I'll do all that. I call you, I started sixty seven.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Call you and breathe on the phone, call until you
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: figure out it is me. I'll show up at all
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: your favorite club spots. That's what I do. I go
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: to church and sit on the front row while you sign.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: That's what I did, leaving me. You don't handle it well.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I don't handle it well at all. I stalks front row, well,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the front row at church. You can what she's saying.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I got caught on the gate, you know, the apartment gate.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I was so a little girl. I got caught on
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: the apartment gate by my shirt and calls was coming
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: in and I tried to leave the whole girls on
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: the date. I don't know where you're going the gate clothes.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I'll be right back at you. I don't know how
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: y'all do this. I stopped. It makes me feel better. Yeah,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I gets right at us now. I'm different, man. Like
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I showed up at her family function, like for her birthday,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: and her mom and then throw a party. I showed
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: up at the party. The gift and everything I get,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I get, I get another woman. Immediately take that pain away.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: You bring this together, I guess right away. And we're

- 1:05:20Speaker 1: that's what we want is honestly, don't out of that
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: on this show with Tommy being on it. Hey, hey, Tommy,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: how you doing? Though it's been a while. I haven't
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: seen you in a long time, since you they came
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: to Virginia, which I'm in anyway, because Steve was joking
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: at me the last time. But no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: you ain't seen Tommy since last time it came to
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Virginia taking a primity show. Yeah, baby, I know what
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: you're talking about. That, but we're going on baby talking
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: about the breakup. Thanks, y' y'all gonna get off. We
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: got scared of mar Quaisha. Have no idea what you're

- 1:06:13Speaker 1: You want to call me uncle tom or sell? I
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: don't have plenty of it, so just go ahead. Is
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: actually making me stronger? Yeah, really, I've actually done it
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: that way. I've flipped it on my haters because it
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: didn't kill you, You made you stronger. Yeah, I've actually

- 1:07:48Speaker 1: That's my theme song this year to black people. Go ahead?
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: How do you break up? Cornh? I dealt with a
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: lot of breakup. I'm not gonna stod up here and
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: sugar caught nothing. But the best way that I found
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: to deal with the breakup is the is the start
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: focusing on self love. Because when you have self love,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: you understand yourself and who you are as a person,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: which allows you to interact you know openly and honestly
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: and your Once you understand yourself, it's easier, it's easy.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: You you learned how to deal with less than what
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you should. You understand your words, You understand who you
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: are as a person. You understand you're walking life and
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: what your destiny has called you to be? Um and
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I play, I pray, play presented me through a line,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: and you know that's the best way I deal with this.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Are you Are you still single? I am single? Yes?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: How old? Are you? Minifying? I am twenty nine? About
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: your business? Really a good shake again. I'm focusing on
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: myself right now. You know, I got I got a
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: lot of things going on. You know. Right now I'm
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: on vacation and I'm going myself before I start a
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: new position. And I'm putting myself in a position. So
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: what you do on your vacation? Right now, I'm sitting
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: in the park and doing the good air. And he said,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: don't smoke, Saw, don't smoke? Should go out to park
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: be bawling? Oh yeah. Back in the day I out
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: to heard you down there with a sick off. You
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: know what I ain't not today, see you would not
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: now I can't be nowhere to be on TMZ. Thank you, Cora, Steve.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: You have a good day. Can you to enjoy your life?

- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Did you hear that part that parents said said, if
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: you must, but know that's something going in your boot.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: That's what my pastor said. My past has said it
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: with conviction. We're gonna kick Dad off up in it
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: trying on one more lie. We got class, but we
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: will kick that. You feel where I'm going? Alright, alright, alright,

- 1:13:28Speaker 1: No Humpty dance? No no, no, let's back to back
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: dance and don and y'all coming up. We got time
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: for just one more thing, and we'll tell you why
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: every weekend should be a three day weekend. After the break.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I don't know what this is about, but we'll find
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: out like you're listening Steve Harpy Morning Show. Alright, coming up,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: we need just one more thing. That's it. Here we
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: go with just one more thing, Steve feeling better about
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: being at work or school today. Well, there are plenty
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: of reasons why every weekend should be a three day weekend,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: and here are just a few. Number one, planning short
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: vacations like a three or four day weekend throughout the
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: year is good for employee well being. Very I agree.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Working long hours is bad for your physical and mental health.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: A study found that workers who put in fifty five
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: hours per week or more had a thirty percent thirty
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: three percent greater risk of stroke and a percent greater
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: risk of heart disease. Stevie, work a lot. Make sure
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I'm telling jokes so much? Yeah, you gotta get your rest. Yeah,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I'm fine off coon statement, You don't. Don't worry about it,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: all right. Number three, kids do better when they have
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: a four day school week. According to a study by
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Georgia State in Montana State Universities, elementary school kids who
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: are in a four day uh school week program scored
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: significantly higher in math than those who went to school
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: five days. I don't think five days is necessary. I
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: really don't. You know, you're especially for children your development.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Social skills are equally as important as after you get
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: your basics. Social skills are equally important. True play time.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: That's what I'm starting to take this year two thousand seventeen,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: of dedicating it to more playtime. Now I'm grinding their hustling,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: but more playtime. I like that. Yeah, I have more
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: sex when we have three day Huh was inappropriate? It
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: wasn't even necessary. It's just random. It's just we can't
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: talk about what we do on three day weekend. And
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: lessen came out of nowhere. Kids, it's your sex life.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: If you're child in school by now, they not didn't
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: right school, that's something wrong. Now your baby it's it's
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: tea and now your baby and at school. Yeah, it's
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: not that. We're just saying what we were talking about.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: It just didn't go three day weekends and and and
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: love making gold, yes it does. No, I get good luck.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: So on your three day weekend, what did you doing well?
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: If we were doing that, we would have the decency
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: not to share it with everyone. Why might share it though? Why?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: No one cares? No one cares. I care what. You
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: can't do it that much nowhere. Let's just be real.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: I'm a cold seven minutes, and you can watch yourself, partner,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I'm cold for seven bragging cold seven minutes. He stuck
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: his chest. Don't you work on being on? Why don't
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: you just work on being a hot? Three? It's a
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: temperature to Steve, he's on the way. Okay, Well all right,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: well thank you for ain't y'all glad y'all ain't married
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: to man? Yeah, I'm shamed to know it. Seven minutes,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: seven minute, Yes, yes, I might could breakfast today. I'll
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: get out of lunch and dinner. Not three squares at
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: three meals for him, three huts and we came along
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: the shake hands. I don't want that to rub it
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: off on me. All right, Steve, go ahead and sell. Yeah,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: well it's Wednesday weekend, come to it. I tell you what,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to it. Yes, it's not going to
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: be anything deliberating. I'm just really looking forward to it.
