- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and abing, not me good it listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother? Please, I don't join joining me. You turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you're going you you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you have got to turn them out. Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come, come on your thau,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It is Steve Harvey. Yeah, I got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: this is timely for everybody. I'm sure I want to
- 2:24Speaker 1: offer you all or some encouragement because everybody needed. Let
- 2:33Speaker 1: me tell you something. You strike out on your goals,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you strike out on your aspirations, and so you strike out,
- 2:42Speaker 1: as it happens to all of us. Here it comes life.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Life just hits one of them bad notes, as it
- 2:53Speaker 1: always does, as it always does for all of us,
- 2:58Speaker 1: for everybody. Now when those bad notes happen, when the
- 3:05Speaker 1: haters come out of nowhere, when the setback comes up,
- 3:09Speaker 1: When when the out of nowhere appears, when now I
- 3:13Speaker 1: didn't see that coming comes, Here's here's what you have
- 3:18Speaker 1: to do. Here is the thing that I have been
- 3:22Speaker 1: teaching myself for years that I used to not always understand,
- 3:29Speaker 1: so I'm trying to give it to you. You have
- 3:33Speaker 1: to be encouraged anyway. Now that's difficult, Okay, Steve, what
- 3:38Speaker 1: you're talking about? You just told me all this discouraging
- 3:41Speaker 1: stuff that can happen, and you said you got to
- 3:43Speaker 1: be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man, you have to, because what's
- 3:51Speaker 1: happening to you right now, the thing that you're going
- 3:55Speaker 1: through right now, the thing that everybody's going through right now.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Ain't nobody else smooth sailing? Man. Everybody got something and
- 4:03Speaker 1: if they if they don't smooth sailing, just notice is coming.
- 4:07Speaker 1: There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody. It's just that this
- 4:10Speaker 1: is life. This is how it happens everybody, So please
- 4:14Speaker 1: stop stop getting on the old woe's me bandwagon? Old Lord?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Why met old Lord? Something always happened to me, something
- 4:22Speaker 1: always happens to everybody. But here's what you got to do.
- 4:27Speaker 1: When you get in moments like this, you got to
- 4:30Speaker 1: be encouraged. You got to remember in those times, in
- 4:35Speaker 1: those times when it's going wrong, you got to remember
- 4:38Speaker 1: all that you've been through. You got to remember all
- 4:44Speaker 1: that you've come through. You have to remember those other
- 4:49Speaker 1: times when you felt like this, and somehow, unexplainably you
- 4:54Speaker 1: don't even really stop to say nothing about it. It
- 4:58Speaker 1: just changed for you. And the problem that was is
- 5:02Speaker 1: no more. And the situation that seems so insurmountable, you
- 5:08Speaker 1: got over it, You got around it, you got over it.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Sometimes you just got to slide right under it. Sometimes
- 5:19Speaker 1: you got to plow through it. But in those times
- 5:24Speaker 1: when it's discouraging for you, when you feel like giving up,
- 5:28Speaker 1: those are the test. Those are the moments that will
- 5:34Speaker 1: determine whether we make it or not. I'll tell you
- 5:39Speaker 1: one thing for sure. If you give up in these
- 5:42Speaker 1: moments right here here is a foreshow you'll never make it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: That that's that's unquestionably the deal. If you give up
- 5:52Speaker 1: in these dark times, if you give up in these
- 5:56Speaker 1: what you think is insurmountable moments, if you turn turn
- 6:00Speaker 1: back now here is the one thousand percent for shure,
- 6:04Speaker 1: you ain't gonna make it. But there's a bright side
- 6:08Speaker 1: to this situation. If you keep your head down, if
- 6:13Speaker 1: you keep forging, if you keep pressing on. Sometimes if
- 6:18Speaker 1: you just stand there and sometimes get knocked to your knees.
- 6:22Speaker 1: But if you stay in that place, if you just
- 6:25Speaker 1: stay there and ride the storm out, my head is
- 6:29Speaker 1: bloodied but unbowed. If you can just stay there, if
- 6:37Speaker 1: you consider in that moment and ride it out, you
- 6:44Speaker 1: will win. You will pass the test, and you will
- 6:48Speaker 1: get to move on to the next level. But there
- 6:51Speaker 1: is no next level without a test. You can't get
- 6:55Speaker 1: to grade six without passing grade five. You can ain't
- 7:00Speaker 1: be a senior without first being a junior. You can't
- 7:05Speaker 1: graduate without fulfilling the hours and requirements. You see, I
- 7:10Speaker 1: don't care what you do in life. Look at it.
- 7:13Speaker 1: It's all set up on levels for You've got to
- 7:16Speaker 1: accomplish the thing before in order to get to the
- 7:20Speaker 1: next level. And when you've made those level accomplishments, you
- 7:24Speaker 1: get to graduate. Now you can go on to get
- 7:26Speaker 1: the masters in a PhD. You can go on and
- 7:28Speaker 1: become rich, you can go become wealthy, or you can
- 7:31Speaker 1: go or you can go somewhere and think yourself in
- 7:34Speaker 1: another set of circumstances. But you got to go through
- 7:37Speaker 1: something to get to something. There ain't nothing free. So
- 7:41Speaker 1: you can stop that notion about being successful. That is
- 7:44Speaker 1: easy come on, man, if it was easy, what we are,
- 7:48Speaker 1: what we're talking about, It is not easy. Stop thinking
- 7:53Speaker 1: it is. It is difficult. But I'll tell you what's
- 7:56Speaker 1: even more difficult than becoming successful. You want to know
- 8:00Speaker 1: what that is, Try not being successful your whole life.
- 8:05Speaker 1: That's hard. You are listening to a person who has
- 8:09Speaker 1: done them both been successful and really really been not successful.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And I got news for you. Both of them hard.
- 8:21Speaker 1: But I would rather deal with what it is to
- 8:23Speaker 1: be something, to make something out of myself, to force
- 8:27Speaker 1: myself to go to work when I don't feel like it.
- 8:29Speaker 1: This morning was a rough get up for me, but
- 8:33Speaker 1: I got up and I said thank you anyway. Never
- 8:36Speaker 1: give up. And I don't watch this dude too. He
- 8:38Speaker 1: to mess around. It gut close to me because he
- 8:40Speaker 1: just never gave up. You can never ever give up. Never.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It's not an option. Giving up cannot be an option
- 8:50Speaker 1: for you. You cannot do that. It's out of the question.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It's ain't conceivable in your mind to quit, because to
- 8:59Speaker 1: quit it to what what you get when you quit? Nothing?
- 9:04Speaker 1: That is a reward for those who hang in there,
- 9:08Speaker 1: who never give up, who forged through, who see it through,
- 9:11Speaker 1: who get knocked down and get back up. Who gets
- 9:14Speaker 1: trampled but somehow gathers themselves and get back to your knees.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But stay in that place, man, don't ever give up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through,
- 9:25Speaker 1: Think of all you come through. Think of all he's
- 9:27Speaker 1: done for you. Think of all the times you thought
- 9:30Speaker 1: you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow, without you ever
- 9:33Speaker 1: even saying thank you, he got through. He got you
- 9:35Speaker 1: through it. Anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we
- 9:38Speaker 1: kind of need that in our life. All I need
- 9:42Speaker 1: is a little more grace. You can't give God no
- 9:46Speaker 1: money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free. It's available
- 9:50Speaker 1: to everybody. But you can't get none if you quit.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Don't give up. I'll just tell you that flat out.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Don't ever give up. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. This
- 10:02Speaker 1: is the start of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This
- 10:05Speaker 1: is a show of gratitude, attitude and altitude. We are
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the uplifting, motivational, inspirational entertainment business. Nobody and I
- 10:16Speaker 1: mean nobody does it the way we do. Dog goned
- 10:21Speaker 1: we is it? Feel me? If you didn't feel me
- 10:26Speaker 1: right now. Whatever Steve on the radio, he talked like
- 10:30Speaker 1: he ain't got good sense. I don't. I don't want
- 10:35Speaker 1: good sense. Good sense would have me at a job
- 10:39Speaker 1: somewhere and they'd be paying me a good sense check.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I'm ignorant because I have found a way to trick
- 10:46Speaker 1: them out of ignorant checks. That's why I am the
- 10:49Speaker 1: way I am and will continue to be the way
- 10:51Speaker 1: I am. Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Steve Harvey
- 10:53Speaker 1: Morning Show. Now if you want subtle and intellectual intelligence,
- 10:58Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, please meet Shirley Strawberry Carlin for real,
- 11:03Speaker 1: a woman on that show who has marful degrees, Mississippi Monica.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That's the side of the show you need to talk to.
- 11:11Speaker 1: You looking for the doub Come on, stupid, yes, crazy off,
- 11:21Speaker 1: balancing off base, Junior, kill space legend, nephew, Tommy and
- 11:29Speaker 1: yours truly Now, Junior, what's on your mind today? Okay? Then,
- 11:34Speaker 1: says were doing ignorant? Just tell me if if ain't
- 11:38Speaker 1: Monre call you and you don't answer that phone when
- 11:42Speaker 1: you called back, what's the excuses you got to have that?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Don't I don't have excuses. I don't have excuses children. Okay,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I didn't have my phone with me. I was on
- 11:55Speaker 1: the set or own a Zoolia. Oh it's ringed before
- 12:01Speaker 1: and I've ignored it. But when I called back, that's
- 12:06Speaker 1: not what I'm going to say. Yeah, I was on
- 12:09Speaker 1: the set. I was on a zoom call. I keep
- 12:13Speaker 1: my ring off so it doesn't disturb taping after everything.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Ellie had my phone, Megan got my phone. Any other people,
- 12:24Speaker 1: what I'm not gonna do is tell you I didn't
- 12:27Speaker 1: feel like talking to you, so I just let it
- 12:30Speaker 1: ring and go to voice matter. You know, I don't
- 12:32Speaker 1: have no voice. I'm not gonna say that. No, no, no,
- 12:36Speaker 1: no, no no no. Once again, a prime example of why
- 12:41Speaker 1: you should not tell the truth. I said it a million,
- 12:45Speaker 1: but I can give you time and all his honesty,
- 12:49Speaker 1: honest policy. I don't know who came over that didn't
- 12:52Speaker 1: get that. Say that was somebody who got lied to
- 12:55Speaker 1: it and didn't like a lie. Honesty. It's the best policy.
- 13:00Speaker 1: What you ever watched forty eight hours and they finally
- 13:08Speaker 1: convinced them to tell it. Hey, man, get it off
- 13:10Speaker 1: your chest. Yeah I did it, and everybody in the
- 13:13Speaker 1: other rooms he did. He got it. Y'all asked me
- 13:16Speaker 1: to go to prison. Dog that I don't know what
- 13:19Speaker 1: y'all talking about. Shit stayed right there? Oh no, no,
- 13:25Speaker 1: I did it? Get it off your conscience? I ain't
- 13:28Speaker 1: got getting nothing off man. All right, we're moving on show,
- 13:34Speaker 1: starting off with a bang. I love it. Coming up
- 13:37Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear from
- 13:40Speaker 1: the nephew and run that Frank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, it is time to run
- 13:48Speaker 1: that Frank back with the nephew. What you got, naff
- 13:51Speaker 1: I got ignorance, craziness, everything that Uncle Steve said that
- 13:54Speaker 1: we had on this show at the beginning. And this
- 13:57Speaker 1: right here is Doors, cat doll. If you hello, Hello,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a mister Paul. Please call Virginia Senior,
- 14:10Speaker 1: probably senior. Okay, this is man. How are you doing
- 14:12Speaker 1: to that? I'm good, I'm good. Listen. My name is Mark.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm actually calling from a company called Doors. Are you
- 14:18Speaker 1: Are you at Good Court? Yes? Correct? You guys just
- 14:21Speaker 1: built at home? Right? Yeah, Okay, I'm like I said,
- 14:24Speaker 1: my name is Mark Stevens. I'm actually calling from Doors.
- 14:27Speaker 1: We're actually the company that uh supplied the doors that
- 14:31Speaker 1: are actually throughout your house. Okay, great, what are you
- 14:34Speaker 1: calling from a follow up? No, this isn't a follow up. Actually,
- 14:37Speaker 1: we're got a couple of glitches we want to try
- 14:39Speaker 1: and get get straighten out if we could find uh, Well,
- 14:41Speaker 1: here's here's the problem, sir. The problem we're having is
- 14:44Speaker 1: that the contractor that actually built you all's home, yes,
- 14:49Speaker 1: has not paid for the doors. You guys have been
- 14:52Speaker 1: there two and a half months, and we can't seem
- 14:55Speaker 1: to get the contractor to come in and pay for
- 14:57Speaker 1: the doors. Try to all. We've tried to call them
- 15:01Speaker 1: several times and we have not been able to get number.
- 15:04Speaker 1: The yeah on him because you have a good number
- 15:06Speaker 1: to give you a number, because I really don't have
- 15:09Speaker 1: anything to do with that. It's like, how do you
- 15:11Speaker 1: get my number? Well, actually we had your number of
- 15:13Speaker 1: files as the homeowner and that's pretty much how we
- 15:16Speaker 1: had you. But the problem we're facing here, sir, is
- 15:19Speaker 1: we tried to get this guy for the last couple
- 15:21Speaker 1: of months and we can't get him. So, actually, what's
- 15:24Speaker 1: what's gonna happen here in the next day or so
- 15:27Speaker 1: is we're probably gonna have to come and get all
- 15:29Speaker 1: the doors always can do what. We're probably gonna have
- 15:32Speaker 1: to come and get all the doors in your house,
- 15:35Speaker 1: take them off and bring them back here to the
- 15:37Speaker 1: plant until we get get out of my doors. We're
- 15:40Speaker 1: gonna have to get those doors until either we get
- 15:43Speaker 1: a contractor or you know, we get paid for the doors. Now,
- 15:46Speaker 1: what could happen is you could pay for the doors. No, no, no,
- 15:49Speaker 1: already paid for the doors. And that's that's that's past tense.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I've done that, paid you saint. Paying that means I
- 15:55Speaker 1: got to double back. Well, sir, we haven't been paid,
- 15:58Speaker 1: sir for the doors. Well no, no, no, no no, untracted
- 16:00Speaker 1: was paid for the doors. That's who paid you. Okay,
- 16:04Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir, we
- 16:06Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all here at doors, not at all?
- 16:11Speaker 1: Oh oh okay, well at doing they should have received
- 16:15Speaker 1: a check from my contracts you, sir, is that that
- 16:19Speaker 1: hasn't been done. So since you have not been paid,
- 16:21Speaker 1: you're gonna come back and get my doors out. You said,
- 16:23Speaker 1: We Now, who's all this you? And who are the
- 16:25Speaker 1: gonna come? Here's the problem here? Like, no, no, there
- 16:28Speaker 1: ain't no problems. We're gonna We're gonna resolve this very peacefully.
- 16:31Speaker 1: But who who is we? Okay? So what's taking place here?
- 16:34Speaker 1: My job is they've taken this money out of my
- 16:37Speaker 1: check that hasn't been paid for the doors. Oh yes,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I can understand that, but why would they take it
- 16:42Speaker 1: out of your check? You did the man hours you did,
- 16:44Speaker 1: You've done your work. Why don't understand it? Sir? But
- 16:47Speaker 1: since the company hasn't been paid, the company is taking
- 16:49Speaker 1: it out on me and it's not gonna come down
- 16:51Speaker 1: on me. So either I'm gonna get the doors, well
- 16:54Speaker 1: you need to quit your job because they ain't gonna
- 16:56Speaker 1: because they need to give you a not just give
- 16:58Speaker 1: you a bonus, but give you some only work. Because
- 17:00Speaker 1: bottom line is you're talking about coming to get my doors.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Now that's not gonna happen. Either we resolve this peacefully
- 17:06Speaker 1: as if you pay for it, or I come out
- 17:09Speaker 1: and get the doors and I'm not finishing city and
- 17:11Speaker 1: go back. You may go in and come get these doors.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Gas up and come get these doors. Because you're not
- 17:16Speaker 1: gonna come and get this. I'm not gonna send you
- 17:18Speaker 1: no money, okay, sir. Then then then what we need
- 17:20Speaker 1: to do is get a schedule time where I can
- 17:22Speaker 1: come out and get all the doors. I'm on your time.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm on your time now, so you got
- 17:26Speaker 1: you must be paying me now since I'm on your time,
- 17:29Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Because you're talking about you're
- 17:31Speaker 1: gonna set up a time with me. That means I
- 17:34Speaker 1: have to leave and do what I do to be
- 17:35Speaker 1: meet you here to get something don't belong to you,
- 17:38Speaker 1: which is my door, so you don't have to be
- 17:39Speaker 1: there at all, because I'm gonna I'm gonna come in
- 17:42Speaker 1: and take the front door off, and I'm gonna keep
- 17:44Speaker 1: keep moving through the house and get all the doors
- 17:46Speaker 1: and get them back here to the player. I don't
- 17:48Speaker 1: think you hear yourself now first and almost how you
- 17:50Speaker 1: when you come to the front door, I'm gonna be
- 17:52Speaker 1: without waiting on you as you as you taking off
- 17:54Speaker 1: the latch, I'm gonna be on your behind making sure
- 17:57Speaker 1: you realize you're gonna have to take this door or
- 17:59Speaker 1: take this And I'm dating I'm pretty show from the
- 18:02Speaker 1: coming to you and get that first door, so I
- 18:04Speaker 1: can't keep going back and forth with you. Let me
- 18:06Speaker 1: say this to you, I'm coming to get them doors
- 18:08Speaker 1: even if I got to take a whip because I
- 18:10Speaker 1: gotta get my money back from the company that they
- 18:12Speaker 1: that took for me, because so damn contractor did not
- 18:15Speaker 1: pay for the damn doors. Hey, you better, Hey, bringing
- 18:18Speaker 1: your turns down when you talk to me, you're talking
- 18:20Speaker 1: to him girl. Man, I'm gonna I'm gonna put this
- 18:22Speaker 1: on you. I'm not gonna allowing you to come my
- 18:25Speaker 1: hearts and take these damn doors and you ain't coming
- 18:27Speaker 1: to getting no money. I'm coming to get them doors
- 18:29Speaker 1: that I'm coming to get them today. I need every
- 18:33Speaker 1: what time you're coming. Con aren't even paid when you
- 18:35Speaker 1: come next with these doors because I make so please
- 18:38Speaker 1: what tid you coming? Don't don't worry about when I'm coming.
- 18:41Speaker 1: You don't know when I'm there. When I take the
- 18:42Speaker 1: first door off the heads every door, we're gonna meet
- 18:46Speaker 1: at that door and whoop that and tell you what
- 18:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay you. I don't playing dollar equipment. Now
- 18:51Speaker 1: take that check and you may take that inside whooping
- 18:54Speaker 1: the night. I'm gonna take that hoop. But if that's
- 18:56Speaker 1: what it take. But I gotta take these door you
- 18:57Speaker 1: want to get my money, I mean you to do
- 18:59Speaker 1: next time get your damn money. Stop, get a job
- 19:02Speaker 1: to page you better for this equipment. You're gonna get
- 19:05Speaker 1: it in fed well, I'm not sure. I'm not gonna
- 19:08Speaker 1: keep going back and forth with you about you whooping
- 19:10Speaker 1: by any more. That in the end, right take that
- 19:14Speaker 1: and take it on home. Tap. But I'm dragging them
- 19:16Speaker 1: doing every door and that word tractor you should have
- 19:21Speaker 1: been calling a contract killing doing. I'm doing from from
- 19:24Speaker 1: my damn Come now, I'm telling you what you need
- 19:27Speaker 1: to be calling them. He got tell I'm gonna get
- 19:29Speaker 1: it every dough you got in that holly, that number.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I tell you what, you know what I do? I
- 19:33Speaker 1: just want do you go to work? I just coming
- 19:36Speaker 1: in and get them does Junior? I went wait a second, Now,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I just told you you ain't coming to getting no doors.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I just got to tell you that, Junior, get it
- 19:47Speaker 1: from your mama brings them doing, and you know what
- 19:49Speaker 1: else I'm coming to do what I'm coming to tell
- 19:52Speaker 1: you who I am? You do you know who I am?
- 19:56Speaker 1: I know who you are working. I'm not sure I
- 19:59Speaker 1: just do yourself. You won't come get it. I can't
- 20:03Speaker 1: get these doors there? That man ain't that ain't really
- 20:06Speaker 1: who I am who are you? I am nephew Tommy
- 20:11Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got prank
- 20:14Speaker 1: phone call by your wife, Fate, that's right to shoot
- 20:19Speaker 1: braining damn number. You don't get it. I'm down sails.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Oh brother, you got me. You know I'm a I'm
- 20:26Speaker 1: a typical. I got on the red door. You know
- 20:28Speaker 1: where do the red doors? You're doing something? Hey man,
- 20:33Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, man, Paul, what is what is
- 20:36Speaker 1: the baddest And I'm talking about the baddest radio show
- 20:39Speaker 1: in the land. Oh, the Harbor Show. And cousin Tom
- 20:44Speaker 1: I was over here, just a friend, man, Fate. Don't
- 20:46Speaker 1: braining the number now? But hers all this moving so
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'm thinking they're looking forward, but they down that pint.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Good man. All right, thank you enough. Coming up next,
- 20:56Speaker 1: it is asked the CLO you're listening morning show? Coming
- 21:02Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour and entertainment news
- 21:05Speaker 1: singer Monica has clapped back at a very racist reporter.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Singer Neo remarried his wife in Vegas, and the Kardashians
- 21:15Speaker 1: have asked a judge to throw Black China's case out.
- 21:19Speaker 1: All right, we'll get into that, but right now, it
- 21:22Speaker 1: is time to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve
- 21:26Speaker 1: Harvey in the building ready for your love questions. Farah
- 21:30Speaker 1: and Roanoke says, my husband is not really a drinker,
- 21:34Speaker 1: but last night he came home drunk. He said he
- 21:37Speaker 1: lost his phone and can't remember where he'd been. I
- 21:39Speaker 1: found his phone on the back seat and he doesn't
- 21:42Speaker 1: know how it got there. Is he playing me for
- 21:44Speaker 1: a fool? No, no, he's not playing any for a fool.
- 21:50Speaker 1: The man said he got drunk. He don't really drink,
- 21:54Speaker 1: and he don't know where his phone is. Now, if
- 21:56Speaker 1: he knew where his phone is, for if he knew
- 21:59Speaker 1: where his own was, do you think he would have
- 22:02Speaker 1: allowed you to find it on the back seat. He
- 22:05Speaker 1: don't know. He didn't know where that phone was. Oh,
- 22:08Speaker 1: he tried to find it and he couldn't. You found
- 22:11Speaker 1: it on the back seat, and the night for he,
- 22:18Speaker 1: that is so much the truth. He don't know where
- 22:21Speaker 1: that is. He don't know where that phone is. Everyone looking, Yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 1: and he was looking at that phone. And when you
- 22:27Speaker 1: found it on the back seat, the shock that went
- 22:32Speaker 1: through him was you can't explain it, god, dog, But
- 22:38Speaker 1: now you know there was no information on the phone
- 22:40Speaker 1: that you found anything like that. It was nothing in
- 22:42Speaker 1: the car, and so you know, oh yeah, you know,
- 22:46Speaker 1: so you're looking for stuff in the back seat like
- 22:48Speaker 1: he'd been back there with somebody. Hey, what the man said,
- 22:50Speaker 1: let's go next question? He talked, all right. Kennedy in
- 22:53Speaker 1: Tucson says, um, I'm in my mid twenties and pregnant
- 22:58Speaker 1: with a married man's back. I met his wife and
- 23:01Speaker 1: told her about the baby. I have been blocked in
- 23:04Speaker 1: both of their phones, and I don't know how to
- 23:06Speaker 1: reach them. How can they shut me out while I'm pregnant?
- 23:09Speaker 1: What what little girl? You can't How can they block
- 23:17Speaker 1: you out? Why are you pregnant? Because because that's what
- 23:22Speaker 1: they're doing. He didn't told her, you bet not. She
- 23:26Speaker 1: didn't told this man you've been not ever call her again.
- 23:29Speaker 1: She gonna call me talking to me like, I don't
- 23:31Speaker 1: know what you thought that was going to accomplish. But
- 23:34Speaker 1: you know, you all you can do right now at
- 23:36Speaker 1: this point is prove it with a paternity test and
- 23:39Speaker 1: then get some child support. This is not going to
- 23:42Speaker 1: be a happy relationship. You w yeah, and move on
- 23:45Speaker 1: with your life. And this is not This is a mistake.
- 23:49Speaker 1: That has to be not this is where you gotta
- 23:51Speaker 1: you make your bed, you gotta lay in it. You
- 23:53Speaker 1: hear that one right there. You know you're gonna pull
- 23:55Speaker 1: the covers off because yeah, yeah, you and take care
- 24:00Speaker 1: of the baby. Not the baby's fault. Yeah, all right,
- 24:05Speaker 1: Steve Clo Moving on to Thora in Atlantic City. Thora says,
- 24:10Speaker 1: I have a network of friends and two of them
- 24:12Speaker 1: are dating the same man. He tried to have sex
- 24:14Speaker 1: with me too, and he bragged about being with both
- 24:17Speaker 1: of them. I told him I was going to snitch,
- 24:19Speaker 1: and he said, they'd never believe me. Should I tell them?
- 24:24Speaker 1: We come on now. She is in this one a
- 24:31Speaker 1: little bit because he's trying to sleep with her, which
- 24:34Speaker 1: would be the third friend, and he's bragging about it,
- 24:39Speaker 1: and she said he will tell She'll tell it. He said,
- 24:42Speaker 1: they won't believe you. Well, I can promise you they've
- 24:46Speaker 1: fen to find out. We've fen to find out. They're
- 24:48Speaker 1: gonna believe it or not tell. Yeah, he can't be
- 24:52Speaker 1: that fine exactly. No said what's sexy? No, don't come
- 25:07Speaker 1: up sexy out Sometimes sometimes that sexy is all in
- 25:12Speaker 1: your head. Yes, if they're your friends, tell them all right, Um,
- 25:20Speaker 1: but see his problem, his stupid it is. He threatened
- 25:22Speaker 1: her with it. Go ahead, They ain't gonna believe you.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Well see right there. You can't challenge a woman though, right,
- 25:28Speaker 1: so I would accept the challenge. Hm, yep, snitch, snitch
- 25:32Speaker 1: all right? Moving on to this is our last one
- 25:35Speaker 1: Steve Shakira and Dayton Shakira says, my boyfriend has the
- 25:39Speaker 1: flu and I called to see if he needed anything.
- 25:42Speaker 1: His mom made him some soup and she spent the
- 25:44Speaker 1: night with him. When he's sick, he pushes me away
- 25:47Speaker 1: for his mom's TLC. We've been dating four years. Should
- 25:51Speaker 1: I let his mom have him? Well? Oh you know,
- 25:55Speaker 1: mad he pushes you away for his mom. Tell C
- 26:00Speaker 1: that's kind of a habit he ain't never broke. If
- 26:05Speaker 1: he's pushing you away for other things, it's where your
- 26:09Speaker 1: concern should be. If date night is his mama often
- 26:14Speaker 1: instead of you, that's a problem. If he has problems
- 26:20Speaker 1: and his mother's delution solution instead of you. Uh. If
- 26:25Speaker 1: he talks on the phone more to his mother than
- 26:29Speaker 1: he does to you, if he spends more time over
- 26:33Speaker 1: there than with you, then you have a full blown
- 26:36Speaker 1: mama's boy. Now, Now you say, when he gets sick,
- 26:41Speaker 1: he pushes you away. How often do his ass get sick?
- 26:45Speaker 1: I think that you probably don't need to get pushed away.
- 26:48Speaker 1: You might need to run because you're just to be
- 26:52Speaker 1: taking kid his food because he gets sick all the
- 26:55Speaker 1: damn time, unlike we have that on our show. But
- 27:00Speaker 1: it's not often, and it's handled with a measure of
- 27:03Speaker 1: courage that I've never seen in the person before. And
- 27:06Speaker 1: I'm talking about you, Young Junior, and I must take
- 27:08Speaker 1: my hat off to you as a fellow man that
- 27:12Speaker 1: the way you handle yours is just boy, you something special.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You an example of what manhood encourage is. And for
- 27:19Speaker 1: those who suffer with sickle sale, you should. Junior's cause
- 27:23Speaker 1: is an admirable one, and I've never seen anybody handle
- 27:27Speaker 1: it more strongly and come back greater than he did
- 27:31Speaker 1: when he went in. So hats off to Young Junior
- 27:34Speaker 1: for the way he handles his crisis and everything that
- 27:37Speaker 1: goes with it in life is unimaginable what that's like.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I personally don't know how he'd do it, but let's
- 27:45Speaker 1: j Steve Junior. Would you push someone away for your mom? Steel?
- 27:49Speaker 1: See if you got sick, girl, I get sick, have
- 27:51Speaker 1: y'all heard my mama coming down. No exactly, we know
- 27:56Speaker 1: your mama. Mama, Mama in the hospit it up doing
- 28:00Speaker 1: when you live, call when you get out. She did
- 28:02Speaker 1: the same thing when you get out. That's why I'll
- 28:08Speaker 1: be shocked at tea for real. Yeah, when your mom
- 28:12Speaker 1: would do it too. Yeah, Yeah, I'm not. I'm not
- 28:16Speaker 1: the one for TLC. No, you're not. You're the only
- 28:21Speaker 1: one I would do that for. You'd have to be
- 28:23Speaker 1: one of my children or my wife. And then and
- 28:28Speaker 1: then will I'm gonna have to hide somebody, But you
- 28:32Speaker 1: will make a call. You will funk flowers, you will
- 28:34Speaker 1: do that. Don't do all that. I'm you know, if
- 28:37Speaker 1: you need something, I'm gonna get it. Fun you. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: it's just same thing to be me though. Yeah you
- 28:42Speaker 1: have in the hospital. H You could either you could
- 28:47Speaker 1: either you could either you know, be down about it
- 28:50Speaker 1: or gone with your life. That's how I approach it,
- 28:53Speaker 1: because you know you can't sit up here and make
- 28:54Speaker 1: no apologies for it. You just got to realize that, Hey, man,
- 28:58Speaker 1: almost die, I've better get to living because I don't
- 29:00Speaker 1: know how much of the time I got left. Man.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So basically, what I'm saying to the letter to the lady,
- 29:07Speaker 1: Quint Dayton, what I'm just saying the un let's ask
- 29:11Speaker 1: Gar Sickle said, you coming up at the top of
- 29:17Speaker 1: the hour. Thank you, Celo. We'll have some entertainment news
- 29:21Speaker 1: for you right after this. You're listening to the stow
- 29:28Speaker 1: all right. So this year's Country Music Awards aired on
- 29:30Speaker 1: April eleventh, and after the show, right wing reporter Patrick Howley,
- 29:35Speaker 1: who no one knows, posted a Twitter video and he
- 29:39Speaker 1: had a lot to say about how there were too
- 29:41Speaker 1: many black people at this year's Country Music Awards. Howey
- 29:46Speaker 1: stated that he didn't know who the black guy was
- 29:48Speaker 1: that was hosting the show. Well, the black guy hosting
- 29:51Speaker 1: the show, mister Howey, whoever you are, is actor Anthony Mackie.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Here's Patrick Howley's racist recap of
- 30:00Speaker 1: Take a listen. This Awards show was really kind of
- 30:03Speaker 1: a train wreck. There was a check who was co
- 30:06Speaker 1: hosting it, and they said that she tested positive for
- 30:09Speaker 1: the RONA. So let's take a look last night. I
- 30:13Speaker 1: know all of you, I don't know who this black
- 30:15Speaker 1: eye is who's hosting Its supposed to be country music.
- 30:17Speaker 1: No offense, I mean, y'all have hip hop in basketball.
- 30:20Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Just fly with your flock, bro.
- 30:24Speaker 1: It's not against you, but you're up here. But like
- 30:26Speaker 1: the melonated people invented country music. We was making country
- 30:31Speaker 1: music and with Conda before Johnick Hash and Merle Haggard
- 30:33Speaker 1: does stole the black man's country music. It's like, all right, bro,
- 30:37Speaker 1: it's so angry. There were so many black people. They're
- 30:40Speaker 1: sorry to say, but like so many black celebrities who
- 30:42Speaker 1: have nothing to do with country music. And it's like,
- 30:47Speaker 1: why no disrespect to uh, to the the Funky Brothers
- 30:53Speaker 1: of music. I love Earth Wind and Fire Run, DMC, etcetera.
- 30:56Speaker 1: But I mean, like country music is different. Country music
- 30:59Speaker 1: is different. It's not conduct whoa in huh whoa? I
- 31:07Speaker 1: mean everybody's yeah, breathe, everybody breathe. Come Steve, we're waiting,
- 31:21Speaker 1: you know. I just look at people like that. Man.
- 31:24Speaker 1: See now, when you want to suspend somebody that here's
- 31:27Speaker 1: an example of how it should be done. Because why
- 31:30Speaker 1: widespread racism and separatism and hatred when it ain't even necessary.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It's an award show. But hole, that's what it is.
- 31:39Speaker 1: But hole. But now you're so racist you can't help it.
- 31:42Speaker 1: No offense. No, that's exactly exact. I hate when they
- 31:46Speaker 1: say that too, when they say no offense. You have
- 31:49Speaker 1: hip hop. You always tell me about what there's too
- 31:52Speaker 1: many black people in it's the hole. It's too many
- 31:55Speaker 1: white people in hip hop. You ever go to a
- 31:57Speaker 1: hip hop concern, there's too many white people in hip
- 32:00Speaker 1: hop whose music was that? We ain't got no problem
- 32:03Speaker 1: with that. There's too many white coaches in the NFL.
- 32:06Speaker 1: That's part of a product that's seventy five percent black.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Weren't getting We don't getting no conditions for that. You're
- 32:12Speaker 1: always talking about there's too many black people, black people somewhere,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you know what I mean. There's too many racists ass
- 32:19Speaker 1: white people on the radio. But y'all keep standing over there.
- 32:23Speaker 1: You have too many white people in the Conservative Republican Party.
- 32:27Speaker 1: But you over there, ain't you. It's a whole lot
- 32:30Speaker 1: of places where you got too many white people. You
- 32:32Speaker 1: got too many white people. That's in the fabric business,
- 32:36Speaker 1: when clearly it was created by black people. Nobody said
- 32:39Speaker 1: nothing to you about that. We had too many white
- 32:41Speaker 1: slave owners. We had too many white slaves ships, we
- 32:44Speaker 1: had too many cotton fields, we had too many tobacco fields.
- 32:48Speaker 1: We have too many prisons that's populated with black people,
- 32:52Speaker 1: that's owned by white people. We have a whole lot
- 32:54Speaker 1: of stuff. There's too many of y'all in it. So
- 32:58Speaker 1: now you want to take country music because you're mad
- 33:01Speaker 1: about that, You racist, bigoted, hippocritical, He'll billy hateful ass,
- 33:10Speaker 1: hate monger, and then you're gonna tap it off with
- 33:13Speaker 1: no offense. Well damn it. It is offensive and people
- 33:17Speaker 1: like you are offensive. And see that's why we can't
- 33:20Speaker 1: move past racist because every time I'm having a cool
- 33:24Speaker 1: last day, he'll one of y'all funky ass statement you
- 33:29Speaker 1: want to make about us. You didn't like the black
- 33:32Speaker 1: person at the CMA, but man, whatever, don't nobody know? Yo,
- 33:39Speaker 1: Monka asked either. But we're talking about you though, ain't right? Well.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Singer Monica was there. She performed alongside Jimmy Allen in
- 33:47Speaker 1: a little Big Town, and she clapped back at this
- 33:49Speaker 1: whoever he is, Patrick Howley person. This week on a
- 33:52Speaker 1: post on her Instagram account, Monica said, I've never been
- 33:56Speaker 1: more motivated Patrick Holly. Although your feelings are like we
- 34:00Speaker 1: shared by some, it's not by the masses. I have
- 34:03Speaker 1: an all star legendary team of true country artists that
- 34:07Speaker 1: are currently working with me that would beg to differ.
- 34:10Speaker 1: This was the first of many times that you will
- 34:13Speaker 1: see me. I see you caught that my skin is melanated,
- 34:16Speaker 1: but you missed that it was tough. I'm rooted in
- 34:19Speaker 1: the word and built to last. See you soon. Or
- 34:21Speaker 1: should I say welcome to Wakanda, Thanks Monica. And then
- 34:28Speaker 1: and then that racist mess Wakanda. See that would kill me. Man.
- 34:31Speaker 1: When you get white people, man who just for just
- 34:34Speaker 1: all of the date, it's okay Finn to say whatever
- 34:36Speaker 1: they want to say. Then when you get backlash from
- 34:38Speaker 1: black people. Now, so, oh my god, you're overreacting amazing
- 34:44Speaker 1: because you piss us off. Yeah. See, this anger ain't
- 34:47Speaker 1: just coming out of nowhere. This is years of being
- 34:51Speaker 1: pissed off. Yes, And like I said, you know, hey, look,
- 34:55Speaker 1: we're just going along. We're just doing our date. Now
- 34:57Speaker 1: here you come. We was in here laughing a minute.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Go on this show. Then we get a report about
- 35:02Speaker 1: and then and then here you are. Your words are
- 35:06Speaker 1: sad on our show. Yeah man, we just sick of
- 35:09Speaker 1: you and everybody like you. If you really want to
- 35:12Speaker 1: be honest about it, we are sick of you with
- 35:15Speaker 1: your racist ass. We are sick of you, and you're
- 35:19Speaker 1: gonna keep running up in us. One day, man, where
- 35:22Speaker 1: you got the right one that's really sick that day
- 35:25Speaker 1: and that reaction gonna be severe but you But now
- 35:28Speaker 1: you're gonna think because an overreaction, No, when it's just
- 35:30Speaker 1: a build up. Brother, it's just a build up. You
- 35:33Speaker 1: just caught me on that day to show for having inclusion. Man,
- 35:37Speaker 1: So damn what time sped up to black people? I mean, seriously,
- 35:47Speaker 1: the people's ass. Let's get back to it. That's that's
- 35:51Speaker 1: your solution, Tommy, Let's get to it. We don't do that,
- 35:55Speaker 1: no mold All right, coming up in twenty minut it's
- 36:00Speaker 1: after the hour. It is wedding season. We know that,
- 36:03Speaker 1: and it's Steve Harvey FM. A listener has a question
- 36:07Speaker 1: for us. We'll get into that right after this. You're
- 36:09Speaker 1: listening to the sty Morning Show. Jamira is a listener
- 36:14Speaker 1: who's on V one oh one point five in Jacksonville. Okay,
- 36:20Speaker 1: it's one thing to RSVP to an invitation, but to
- 36:23Speaker 1: pick your food order when you RSVP is stressful. Jamia says,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I was invited to a wedding and was asked to
- 36:31Speaker 1: our SVP and select my food option. The wedding is
- 36:34Speaker 1: not till August. How do I know what I'm going
- 36:37Speaker 1: to be in the mood to eat in August? How
- 36:39Speaker 1: what if I choose chicken, but the salmon looks better
- 36:42Speaker 1: when I see it on somebody else's plate. Does this
- 36:45Speaker 1: seem crazy to you? Guys? What do you think it's? Jamia? Right? Yeah, well,
- 36:48Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you right now, Jamira, if you
- 36:51Speaker 1: order that chicken at these black people's weddings, you're gonna
- 36:54Speaker 1: get some damn chicken. Quit looking over here to everybody
- 36:58Speaker 1: else's plate for the salmon stuff. You're not getting the
- 37:02Speaker 1: salmon because you're gonna throw this whole wed out of whack.
- 37:06Speaker 1: These these these ignorant people that ain't ever throw the
- 37:11Speaker 1: wed and be folded and ask you your food order
- 37:14Speaker 1: six months folded order is made. Yeah, we're cooking that
- 37:18Speaker 1: chicken this weekend. But if you come to the reception, though,
- 37:21Speaker 1: we need to know what you're gonna order so we
- 37:23Speaker 1: can get the right amount of order, because they're not
- 37:25Speaker 1: ordered one plate too many in this web. But yeah,
- 37:30Speaker 1: they got to know what this fit the cost because
- 37:33Speaker 1: somebody gonna be counting marsby be okay, we got sixty
- 37:37Speaker 1: five chickens and we got thirty two salmon steaks. We
- 37:42Speaker 1: gotta get more of these sounding people over to the
- 37:44Speaker 1: chicken size, so we get discount, and then if you go,
- 37:48Speaker 1: you may get it. You may get a text back
- 37:50Speaker 1: three months folded wed that said we are all out
- 37:54Speaker 1: of salmon at this point, we'll chicken do for you.
- 37:58Speaker 1: That's when you know this was a cost measure. See,
- 38:02Speaker 1: if you have got eighty people had got the chicken,
- 38:04Speaker 1: we're gonna get the chicken discount. I'll be damn all
- 38:08Speaker 1: this salmon order, just stop doing that. Just served chicken.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Everybody eat chicken, sep Marvin Horton in order to my
- 38:14Speaker 1: best friend either he don't eat chicken. His name, he
- 38:17Speaker 1: called it the dirty bird. He don't eat. Yeah, well
- 38:19Speaker 1: he got melt people now so because he don't eat
- 38:22Speaker 1: too much damn red meat and eat big ass and
- 38:24Speaker 1: got in shape now though, So it's okay, he don't
- 38:27Speaker 1: like chicken, So that's it. Marvin's the only person I
- 38:30Speaker 1: know that don't eat chicken, and the rest of y'all
- 38:33Speaker 1: we havening chicken. Damn it, damn it. Having chicken and salad.
- 38:39Speaker 1: You don't want the chicken, eat the salad. Your vegan
- 38:45Speaker 1: option is the salad. The meaty option is the chicken.
- 38:51Speaker 1: And we're gonna bring it out there either way. Now
- 38:52Speaker 1: if you don't want the chicken braking on the side

- 39:33Speaker 1: shop with an on site nail salon. I think that's
- 39:36Speaker 1: a brilliant, brilliant idea. She opened an auto repair shop
- 39:41Speaker 1: with an on site nail salon. Her name is patrise Bank.
- 39:44Speaker 1: She had a great job as an engineer when she
- 39:47Speaker 1: had car trouble and realized just how little attention auto
- 39:50Speaker 1: repair shops give their female customers. So she left corporate
- 39:55Speaker 1: America and went to school to learn how to fix cars.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Then she opened an on this auto repair shop featuring
- 40:02Speaker 1: an on site nail salon. She named it Girls Auto Clinic,
- 40:06Speaker 1: and it's located just outside of Philadelphia. The autotext don't
- 40:10Speaker 1: just fix cars. They explain exactly what's going on with
- 40:13Speaker 1: the car, and customers can get a freshmanny and petty
- 40:17Speaker 1: while waiting for their repairs. I love this. I think
- 40:21Speaker 1: this is brilliant. So uh huh barbecue Salon. Oh yeah,
- 40:27Speaker 1: I got it, barbecue salon, barbecue and you get your
- 40:32Speaker 1: half fixed same day. Right there. That's not like gaps, right,
- 40:37Speaker 1: that's like that you're gonna have a little sauce in
- 40:41Speaker 1: your have but we're gonna fix you right now. We're
- 40:42Speaker 1: gonna get a little hair in your sauce. Yes, it's
- 40:47Speaker 1: not even so. I gotta ask the guys. Would you
- 40:52Speaker 1: go to a girl's auto clinic? Would you go there?
- 40:55Speaker 1: Would you go to the girls auto clinic? Yeah? Yeah,
- 40:59Speaker 1: I'm going. It's key word girls. That was there for me. Girl.

- 42:38Speaker 1: said black women were the lowest on the totem Paul
- 42:40Speaker 1: when it came to stuff like that. So that's you know,
- 42:43Speaker 1: I'm sure it was one of the reasons as well

- 55:46Speaker 1: four year old man and my wife and I are
- 55:49Speaker 1: legally separated and I'm facing legal charges because of her.
- 55:54Speaker 1: We were married for three years and we have a
- 55:56Speaker 1: newborn son that I'm not sure is my son, but
- 55:59Speaker 1: he definitely could have my bloodlines. My brother could be
- 56:03Speaker 1: the father of my son. A year after we got married,
- 56:06Speaker 1: he came home from the military and he stayed between
- 56:10Speaker 1: my house and my mother's house. He and my wife
- 56:13Speaker 1: knew each other before I met her. They're the same
- 56:16Speaker 1: age and attended high school together, so I was comfortable
- 56:19Speaker 1: with their relationship. I got too comfortable and allowed him
- 56:23Speaker 1: too much access to my house and my wife. He's
- 56:27Speaker 1: got six children by four women, and my wife and
- 56:30Speaker 1: I used to joke him about how trifling he was.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Now looking back, I think my wife was always curious
- 56:39Speaker 1: about how good he was in bed, and she tried
- 56:42Speaker 1: it out and got hooked. The crazy thing is they
- 56:45Speaker 1: used to have sex in my house and my bed,
- 56:48Speaker 1: on my sofa, everywhere. I put cameras in the house
- 56:51Speaker 1: when I suspected something was going on. I didn't see
- 56:55Speaker 1: them in the act of having sex, but the way
- 56:57Speaker 1: they played around with each other was a ed giveaway.
- 57:01Speaker 1: I saw her on camera with a long black nightgown
- 57:04Speaker 1: nightgown on one morning when I was at work, and
- 57:07Speaker 1: that was all I needed to see. I popped up
- 57:10Speaker 1: on them and he was sitting on my bed and
- 57:13Speaker 1: she was lying across the bed unzipping his pants. When
- 57:17Speaker 1: I walked in, she jumped up and he ran towards
- 57:20Speaker 1: me to push me out of the room. We tore
- 57:24Speaker 1: up the whole house fighting, and she called the police.
- 57:27Speaker 1: He went to the hospital and needed stitches in his eye.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I can't believe they press charges on me. This has
- 57:34Speaker 1: ruined my life emotionally and legally. How do I move
- 57:38Speaker 1: on and forgive them? Well, yeah, this is horrible. This
- 57:43Speaker 1: your brother all right. You know you ask how do
- 57:47Speaker 1: you move on and forgive them? And I have to
- 57:49Speaker 1: tell you that forgiveness is literally how you do move on.
- 57:53Speaker 1: But then again, after what you've been through, I don't
- 57:56Speaker 1: see this happening anytime soon, if at all. I mean,
- 57:59Speaker 1: these things take a moment. Betrayal is real. It's painful.
- 58:03Speaker 1: It can really make you want to kill someone, especially
- 58:06Speaker 1: when you catch them like you did. It doesn't get
- 58:09Speaker 1: any closer than your blood brother, your blood brother who
- 58:13Speaker 1: you admitted let get too comfortable with your wife. And
- 58:17Speaker 1: you know this is this is really crazy because he
- 58:20Speaker 1: was in and out of the house. They knew each
- 58:22Speaker 1: other beforehand. His wife was curious. You knew all of that.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Uh you know now you have a baby that you
- 58:31Speaker 1: thought was yours and it might be your brothers who
- 58:33Speaker 1: will be his daddy uncle if the DNA test comes
- 58:36Speaker 1: back positive. These are two very selfish people. It doesn't
- 58:40Speaker 1: matter that he knew her first. That is your wife
- 58:43Speaker 1: and your Your brother was really wrong and out of line.
- 58:46Speaker 1: You know all of this. I have no words for
- 58:49Speaker 1: your wife. If you had slept with her sister, you
- 58:51Speaker 1: would be paying for that for the rest of your life.
- 58:53Speaker 1: She would never let you forget that, So take your time.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I mean, this is gonna be hard. I don't even
- 58:59Speaker 1: you know know what to tell you to forgive these people.
- 59:02Speaker 1: They need to drop those charges. I do know that
- 59:05Speaker 1: they got what they deserved, stitches and all. I will
- 59:08Speaker 1: tell you this though, remember that there are still very
- 59:11Speaker 1: good women out there who will treat you right when
- 59:13Speaker 1: you're ready for that. And I said all that to say,
- 59:16Speaker 1: please don't blame all women based on what your trifling
- 59:19Speaker 1: wife did to you. All right, Steve, I don't even
- 59:23Speaker 1: really know what to say to this letter. This is
- 59:25Speaker 1: so because you know, I was reading a letter through
- 59:28Speaker 1: it and then when it got three quarters away down,
- 59:31Speaker 1: it took a real crazy turn. And right then, that's
- 59:34Speaker 1: where the whole letter is. Actually the fact that you're
- 59:37Speaker 1: forty five years old and your wife are separated. That
- 59:40Speaker 1: don't really mean nothing, but you face it legal charges
- 59:44Speaker 1: because of her. That does married three years, You got
- 59:47Speaker 1: a newborn son, and you ain't sure that to sell
- 59:49Speaker 1: to yours why because you think it might be your
- 59:52Speaker 1: brothers the right there, this letter is off to a
- 59:57Speaker 1: real ugly start, right and the year after they got married,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: he came home from the military and he stayed between
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: my house and my mama's house. And here my wife
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: knew each other before I met her. They're the same
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: age and attended high school together. So I was comfortable
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: with their relationship. And you say you got too comfortable
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: and you allowed him too much access to my house
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: and my wife or he was your brother? How could
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: you know? I had two brothers, I got one left
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I do. I could trust him with anything anything. Hold
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: that thought, Steve this letter at twenty three after minutes
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: after the hour. We'll come back with part two of
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter. Right under my nose.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: You're listening to show all right, Come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. Subject right under my nose. This
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: is a ridiculous letter right here. I feel for the
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: dude that had to write this letter, but I'm telling
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you I would have so much more to type in
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: here if it were me. This is about betrayal of
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a brother. His brother came home from the military, staying
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: between his mama's house and his house. His wife and
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: brother knew each other from high school, so he was comfortable. Obviously,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: he said he gave them too much access to each other,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: and he has a newborn son that he don't think
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: is his because he thinks his brothers. Are you kidding me?
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: So now he's got six kids from four different women,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and his wife and him used to joke with his
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: brother about how trifling he was, she says, now, looking back,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I think my wife was always curious about how good
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: he was in beding. She tried it and got hooked.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: The craziest thing is they used to have sex in
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: my house, in my bed, on my sofa, everywhere. I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: don't even know how you're typing this letter. Bro, You're
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: better than me. I just I'm just telling you, you
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: just are. I put cameras in the house when I
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: suspected something was going on. I didn't see them in
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: the act of having sex, but the way they played
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: around with each other was a dead giveaway. You know, yeah,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you know why did you squeezing her breast fall? I
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: know what that is? You're sitting up that licking the
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: back of her thigh? What what is what you think
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I think gonna see? This is all play stuff that
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: ain't sex, But you know what's gonna happen. You're giving
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: her calf massage with both her feet on your knee.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Shut up, Tommy, you really think we're doing the calves?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: That what you really think? You tickling the inside of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: her thigh had that funny giggle giggle. I saw her
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: on camera with a long black gown one morning when
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I was at work, and that was all I needed
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to see. I popped up on him. They hit a
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: part where they let her turn into what I don't understand.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: He was sitting on my bed. She was lying across
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the bed unzipping his pants. When I walked in, she
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: jumped up. He ran towards me to push me out
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the room. Now right here, Let's stop the letter right here.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Let me get you a fact. Ain't nobody leaving this room?
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: See this? He pushed me, came to push me out
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: the room. Ain't nobody leaving this room. But if we
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: all don't leave the room, here where I start taking
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: pride in the letter? Right up? We tore up the
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: whole house. Yeah, I mean we fight. Now Here's where
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: she called the police. Okay, I got that here the
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: part while I'm starting to swell up with pride. He
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: went to the hospital and needed stitches in his eye.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: The only thing I'm a little disappointed is is how
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: he didn't need stitches in both his eyes. That's the
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: only disappointment. But I do understand you're probably catching him
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: with that left hook. I can't believe they press charges
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: on me. This has ruined my life emotionally and legally.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: How do I move on and forgive them? I don't
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: really know that I could forgive them right now. I
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: don't know that I could, especially my brother, my brother man,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: or my wife. But my brother, because I have a brother,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I had two and that bond I could. My brother
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: would never betray me on the no set of circumstances,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: no matter what. So I don't even know how this happened.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: How do I move on and forgive them? Let me
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: give you a couple of suggestions. Bro. First of all,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: every time I see my brother, it's on site. I'm
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: talking about every time, and he know it, and he
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: know it. All my brothers know me, and I know
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: my brothers. It's on site. There will be no police
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and shirley. Every time my brothers didn't play, they kept
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: their word. When I see you that you better understand
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: they meant what they said. So that's on site. I'm
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: not going to court. I'm not going to court. But
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: if you do go to court, brother, you have the
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: You have the strongest case of anybody. You have a
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: man who is in your house, and you have a
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: video of them in your house. You got footage of
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: him playing with your wife, I don't know how, and
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: then you and then you walk in on him sitting
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: on the edge of your bed and her unzipping his pants.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: You when you tell this story, who don't understand the
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: fight breaking out? So legally, you're not ruined. You in
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: fine shape. Didn't call the police and all he wants,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: but this is your house. See what happened in your house.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: It gets legal, man, And your brother wasn't on the porch,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: he in the house. You get a paternity test, You
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: get to do a lot of stuff. Man, So stop
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: thinking that your life is ruined legally, because it's not.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: You're in the right all here now. Emotionally, I can't
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: tell you how to feel. That's got to be a
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: horrible feeling to realize that you were betrayed by two
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: people in your life who you thought you could trust,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: your wife and your brother. That's a tough one, man.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: That's a tough one to get over and now baby
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: might be your brother's baby, like he needs another one.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: He already got. All I can get out of this
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: is every time I see my brother it's on site.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: That's all I can get out of this, all right, Steve,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Thank you. Leave your comments on today's letter on Instagram

- 1:08:31Speaker 1: he's a great need of it. I don't even know
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: these people. I did be hated. Marcus Jones, left tackle
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: du Vau Barbara College. Who is who is this? We
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: ain't got nobody from Maryland, Perdue, Georgia Tech. Nah. Craig

- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Steve all right, coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: What would you do if your house was hit with
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: over six hundred golf balls? We'll talk about it right
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: A Massachusetts family was awarded four point nine million dollars
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: after suing the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston. The
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: family's home sits on the golf course near the fifteenth hole,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and it has been pelted by six hundred and fifty
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: one golf balls in the four years they've lived there.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Their windows have been broken at least twenty six times,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: and the house's siding was damaged. The family's lawyer argued
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: that it's really a safety issue for the family, and
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: the judge awarded the family four point nine three million
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: dollars four point ninety three millions. Since the golf course
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: failed to protect their home, the country club will change
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the layout of the fifteenth hole to avoid any more
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: golf balls flying into this house. So that's the good news.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: And they got money. I'm gonna find I don't know
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: how they got paid. I lived on a golf course
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: at one time. On the first hole, my house got
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: to go out, did it? It got whole out? Okay,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: when you decide to live on the golf course, you
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: take that chance and getting hit. I don't know how
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: you get paid like that. Well that's what they told
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Joe black ass. Yeah, you probably you gotta be white.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Million dollars. Your black ass got the golf balls, and
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: then you can sell them golf balls. That's what you
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: can do to get the money. That's what you can
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: do repairs. Yeah, mister dark purse, you can do. This
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: is all about, always about. They took that white lady
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: in name. She was crying in court and everything and
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: ruining my home. I'm like, yeah, twenty six, they got
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: pain and suffering, they got shocked all that. You shouldn't
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: have been here through another damn golf ball over here,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and I'm come on, whoop your ass, hey, mister evil,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: will see you in court, mister anger management, I'm gonna
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: kicking about as out here in Michael, hit the load
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: ball over y'all kill you? Okay, that's the difference. Should
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: have took a white lady in the court like they
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: didn't hand her, cry no, no you and that threatening
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: what I mean to know? The golf ball come over here, y'a.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: That guys are so angry giving you nothing. I live
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: on a golf course, so I mean I need to dude,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: like man, he said, decide to move on. Now you
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: just get hit. That's it. Climb your fence, call to
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: go out and just throw ball. What you say? So
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: let's let's reverse that. You guys are golfers. Have you
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: ever hit yeah? Yeah, hell yea swimming pool, hit a dog?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Don't comes happened? That slice I used to have. Huh
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: was killing people? Hey, let me tell you something. That
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: was a man sitting on the balcony one time in
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: and up on his deck, up stairs. I hit this shot, man,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I was so proud of this shot, and all of
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: a sudden it took that right turn that he used
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: to take and heard, damn, it hit the roof of
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: the balcony he was sitting on. He said, nice shot, guy.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: I teed it up again and hit the exact same roof.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: That's how I committed. I was. I thought that was
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: the best stroke in golf our head. And after that,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: that's when I went to somebody that said, hey, man,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: how do I stop this ball from curve? And he said,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: you're swinging over the top. It's not as severe because
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I don't swing over the topic much. But I didn't.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You still hit some houses, but you hit the house.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: He wasn't even I didn't hit the houses, swimming pool calls,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: broke windows, right, Oh, I don't hitots. I play from call.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I had a slice. All the houses on the right
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: was in. Yeah. So he didn't get mad or nothing.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: He just said, yell, I mean, what can he do?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I hit the roof of his house. I didn't get him,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: didn't bust unto it. Don't yell four when you see
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: when you hit a slice ball, sureley, you don't really
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: know that it's gonna be a four because that's it
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: goes straight for a minute, okay, and then and then
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: it makes a hard right turn. Mine wasn't gradual. Mine
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: would be going straight. Whoa, Then all of a sudden,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: it just make a right turn. I ain't had time
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: to haul a four for men. You are aware arf
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: ball coming your way, so people start duck and covering

- 1:21:49Speaker 1: I don't think I was. There's no way I could
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: go down and explain to the Lord what I had
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: just done. Said seventeen. Well, at seventeen, hood, but after that, yeah,

- 1:22:23Speaker 1: congratulations Sydney, Am, Miles and Jackie. What a great job
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: you guys did. Oh, it ain't over with that one
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: we got. We got that's more Tommy, Tommy, it ain't
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: over with none of them. It ain't over. I've learned.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I'm learning that. No, it's hey, my clothing remarks is
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: about faith. It's about the necessity that I found that
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: faith and the role it has played in my life,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: and then sharing mine. I hope that inspires other people
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: to incorporate faith into your life. The basic understanding of
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: faith is faith is the belief in things that you
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: cannot see. Well, you can't see God, you can't see
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the future. You don't you don't ever know how things
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: are gonna turn out. You have visions of your dreams,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: but you're gonna need a lot of help getting there.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: You're gonna have goals in life, but you're gonna need
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: some assistance. All of this, you all, is where faith
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: comes into play. The importance of faith in my life
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: has been immeasurable. Man, I just don't know how I
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: would have made it without it. A matter of fact,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: I have no other explanation for people. At times, faith
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: has allowed me to make it. I had to teach
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I was selling at one point in time to says,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: faith don't make it easy. Faith makes it possible. See
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: when you have a faith and you rely on your faith,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: it doesn't mean it's going to be smooth sailing. Life
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: is not set up that way. This is life. Everybody's
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: gonna get gonna get dealt the cards of life. You're
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: gonna have disappointment, You're gonna have some heartache, You're gonna
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: have some accomplishments, You're gonna have some triumphs. You're gonna
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: have some graduations, you're gonna have some celebratory moments, and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: you're gonna suffer some losses. You're gonna grieve the loss
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: of a loved one. You're gonna yearn for things that
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you just don't see how you can get them. These
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: things are called life. What faith allows you to do
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: is stand through all the different phases of life. Faith
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: allows you to get through the times when it don't
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: seem like there's no way out. Because what did I
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: say at the beginning, Faith is the belief in things
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: that you cannot see. So what faith does is it
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: gives you a vision of a way out when you
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: don't see no way out at all. Faith gives you
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the strift to stand and wait, to be patient, to
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: whether the storm, because through faith you understand that this
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: too shall pass, that if I just hang in there,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: that God id that God I served, he will deliver me.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: That's what faith gives you. Faith gives you the comfort
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: to know that this that I'm going through is temporary.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Faith will not allow you to accept the fact that
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: it's over. Faith don't make it easy. Faith makes it possible.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: You have got to have faith incorporate grate prayer into
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: your life. I don't know how you're doing it. I
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: just don't, man, because I did it for a long
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: stretch of time in my life, and it was the
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: worst period of my life. Somebody asked me, said, Steve,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: if you could go back to any age, what age
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: would you go back to. I said, sixty four with
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: dog Man, you sixty five. That's as far back as
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I need to go. You know why, because my life
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: is as good as it's ever been. And you know
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: why it's the best. It's because I have the best
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: relationship with God I've ever had. That's exactly why I
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: am telling you, Man. He has taught me how to
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: weather the storm. He has given me the belief in
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: things that I cannot see. It doesn't matter to me
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: anymore what they say about me. It does not matter
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: to me what people think. It is my faith. Incorporate
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: faith and it will change your life. Everybody, Listen to me,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: talk to God today. He would love to hear from you.
