- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all suit all looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bu bu things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve has to start joy. You gotta use that turn.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out, turning, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, I sure will a good minding everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, come on, dig me NW
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harley got a radio show. I was.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I had my head down then it was thinking of
- 2:18Speaker 1: what I wanted to say this morning. But it kind
- 2:22Speaker 1: of it's kind of be something I've lived for a
- 2:26Speaker 1: long time, and you know, for a long time, you know,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I had a lot of faith in people. You know.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's strange too, because you know, you know, my mother
- 2:37Speaker 1: was a Sunday school teacher, so of course I grew
- 2:40Speaker 1: up around it, knowing the scriptures and things like that.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Not not a lot of them, but you know, the
- 2:46Speaker 1: ones I retained. But having her as a mother was
- 2:51Speaker 1: was a huge help and understand about faith. But even
- 2:54Speaker 1: with that, as I grew up, I began to put
- 2:58Speaker 1: a lot of faith in people. And you know, I figured,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, just like everybody else, you know, man if
- 3:05Speaker 1: I could just meet this person, or if I could
- 3:07Speaker 1: just sit down with that person, or man if I
- 3:10Speaker 1: could just get this person to hear my ideal, or
- 3:14Speaker 1: man if if this person could hear my track, or
- 3:17Speaker 1: man if I could just get this in the hands
- 3:20Speaker 1: or somebody in the know. I was, like everybody else,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I thought that way. You know, I actually thought that
- 3:26Speaker 1: if I could get in a certain situation with a
- 3:29Speaker 1: certain person, that if a certain person were to meet me,
- 3:33Speaker 1: that you know, it could change everything for me. Oh man,
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:42Speaker 1: How long did I spend feeling that way? And how
- 3:45Speaker 1: many of you out there possibly have felt that way before?
- 3:49Speaker 1: You know, like even in a relationship, this is the
- 3:52Speaker 1: person for me, and you know, you just lay claim
- 3:54Speaker 1: to that, you know, not necessarily being a fact, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: you just lay claim to it. This is the person
- 4:00Speaker 1: for me, This is the person that I want to
- 4:02Speaker 1: spend the rest of my life with. You know. Sometimes,
- 4:04Speaker 1: you know, we just lay claim to stuff and it's
- 4:07Speaker 1: not always what's in our best interest or it's not
- 4:09Speaker 1: always a fact. It's just what we decided we want it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And I was guilty of that just like anybody else.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And I spent a lot of years in my life
- 4:19Speaker 1: putting faith in people. Man, if I could tell you
- 4:22Speaker 1: anything this morning, it's to stop putting your faith in
- 4:25Speaker 1: people and put your faith in God where it counts
- 4:29Speaker 1: the most. I mean, you can get something out of
- 4:31Speaker 1: this one. See, here's a deal about a relationship with God.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's the same all the time. He never changes. His
- 4:39Speaker 1: word is one absolute. His word doesn't have loopholes in it,
- 4:44Speaker 1: none of that. It's this is what it is. He's
- 4:47Speaker 1: very clear. Now, you can deviate off your end of
- 4:51Speaker 1: a bargain, but it don't stop what he says from
- 4:55Speaker 1: being true. But if he asked you to do something,
- 4:58Speaker 1: if God asks you to to be a certain way,
- 5:01Speaker 1: to do a little something a certain way, and you
- 5:03Speaker 1: don't do it that way, then you know you could
- 5:06Speaker 1: still possibly get by for a while. But don't you
- 5:10Speaker 1: understand that his end of the deal stays the same,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and as long as you're not doing it the way
- 5:15Speaker 1: you're supposed to, the results are not going to be
- 5:18Speaker 1: what you wanted to be. And I did this for
- 5:20Speaker 1: years and years and years, and I counted on people.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And you know, I got myself in a lot of situations,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and I got out one a dire situation that I'd
- 5:30Speaker 1: been in for a number of years. But he had
- 5:33Speaker 1: protected me from years prior to that. I didn't even
- 5:35Speaker 1: know what was going on, and then he made it away.
- 5:38Speaker 1: It made me aware of the problem. And then, man,
- 5:42Speaker 1: lord ha mercy, I was in a dismal situation. And
- 5:45Speaker 1: then at the end of the year, I was free,
- 5:48Speaker 1: free from it all. But it was a decision that
- 5:51Speaker 1: I had made that led up to that, and in
- 5:54Speaker 1: going through that process, I had to learn something. Man.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I learned a lot about people. See, if you want
- 6:01Speaker 1: to learn about your friends, if you want to learn
- 6:03Speaker 1: about your people people around you, get yourself in some trouble,
- 6:08Speaker 1: get yourself in a situation. Oh man, you start looking around. Man,
- 6:13Speaker 1: the field get real clear when you're in trouble. The
- 6:16Speaker 1: field clear is out. When you're in doubt, when you
- 6:19Speaker 1: don't know what to do, when you need help it
- 6:22Speaker 1: get real clear on the play and field. Then don't it. Ah.
- 6:25Speaker 1: But when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We throw on a celebration. We were gonna We're gonna
- 6:32Speaker 1: do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people
- 6:34Speaker 1: on the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You find out rather quickly that old no, old no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 1: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith in people and put all of mine in God
- 6:54Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 1: that there are people that you can't trust. No, that's
- 6:59Speaker 1: not what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust him,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you can't dump your faith in him. I got
- 7:05Speaker 1: it all riding on what he say. I got it
- 7:08Speaker 1: all riding on what she say. Na, Na, No, I
- 7:15Speaker 1: hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my own
- 7:19Speaker 1: this situation because I hear you saying it. But I'm
- 7:22Speaker 1: gonna take this faith of mine and instead of putting
- 7:25Speaker 1: it in people, I'm gonna put it in God where
- 7:27Speaker 1: it counts the most. Because his word is absolute. What
- 7:31Speaker 1: he say he gonna do, he gonna do what he say.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's not gonna tolerate. He's not gonna tolerate. Now, you
- 7:36Speaker 1: can make it. You can make it tolerable for yourself.
- 7:38Speaker 1: But he's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:41Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm wondering
- 7:44Speaker 1: how many people out there find themselves in a situation
- 7:47Speaker 1: like me. Or maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation
- 7:50Speaker 1: because you put your faith in some people and now
- 7:52Speaker 1: you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:55Speaker 1: let me ask you, whetting people, at the only one
- 8:01Speaker 1: that I found when I was in my deepest trouble,
- 8:04Speaker 1: when me and my wife were in our darkest situation,
- 8:07Speaker 1: was God. It is the only one, was the only
- 8:11Speaker 1: one who was just right there, right there, all the
- 8:14Speaker 1: way through. Now, let me explain something to you. Because
- 8:21Speaker 1: you have this relationship with God, it does not mean,
- 8:24Speaker 1: it does not mean now that it won't get it
- 8:27Speaker 1: won't still be a situation, you understand. But what He
- 8:32Speaker 1: will do is protect you during that period. He'll cover
- 8:37Speaker 1: you during that period that it is a situation. He
- 8:41Speaker 1: will give you the strength to overcome the situation when
- 8:44Speaker 1: it turns into a situation. Then when he cracks it
- 8:48Speaker 1: open for you and the sun is bright and shining,
- 8:51Speaker 1: what he don't want you to do is when he
- 8:53Speaker 1: gets sunny again, to forget about him who was there
- 8:56Speaker 1: when it was dark for you. See, I used to
- 8:59Speaker 1: do that too, you know. I was Oh, man, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: did it. I'm telling you right now, I did it.
- 9:04Speaker 1: But I'm telling you man, when I learned a very
- 9:08Speaker 1: serious lesson and I watched some people I thought were
- 9:11Speaker 1: friends of mine just sort of casually remove themselves from
- 9:17Speaker 1: the situation, then I said, okay. Me and Margie looked
- 9:21Speaker 1: around and we said, okay, it's just me, you and God.
- 9:24Speaker 1: And when we started conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's
- 9:29Speaker 1: sunny for us, we remember God. We stay prayerful, we
- 9:33Speaker 1: keep talking to him. We thank him for the sunshine,
- 9:36Speaker 1: we thank him for the dark days that he allowed
- 9:38Speaker 1: us to do, who allowed us to survive it and
- 9:41Speaker 1: turn it into sunny days. And we talked to him
- 9:44Speaker 1: constantly to protect us of our future enemies. And that's
- 9:47Speaker 1: what the deal is. So if I was everybody, I
- 9:49Speaker 1: would stop putting your faith in people and put your
- 9:52Speaker 1: trust in God where it really does count the most.
- 9:55Speaker 1: It really really does. Ladies and gentlemen, it is about time.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It is about to start the darning of a new day.
- 10:06Speaker 1: To Steve Harvey, mornin show is about to pop off.

- 10:16Speaker 1: it led up so i can get you all off

- 12:34Speaker 1: sometimes you burn out, Yeah, but I still I'm still
- 12:37Speaker 1: enjoying it, having a great time. Yeah. I enjoyed the
- 12:40Speaker 1: fights this weekend. What was up with that? Alessandro beat
- 12:46Speaker 1: the guy who was vying to become the first Italian
- 12:50Speaker 1: UFC champion. He whipped his behind real nice. And the
- 12:56Speaker 1: first Mexican UFC title whole in the UFC history was
- 13:02Speaker 1: born this weekend. And this boy's name is Marino, and
- 13:06Speaker 1: I had bet a thousand dollars on him, and that
- 13:09Speaker 1: boy made me cry. That boy cry if you just
- 13:13Speaker 1: saw his reaction when he won the featherweight title, the
- 13:18Speaker 1: first title from Mexico, and he got a wife and
- 13:21Speaker 1: three kids. He twenty seven years old. Boy, that boy's reaction,
- 13:26Speaker 1: that boy made me cry everything. What's his name? Marino? Alright,
- 13:33Speaker 1: UFC two sixty three coming up at thirty two minutes
- 13:36Speaker 1: after the hour, asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve
- 13:39Speaker 1: Harvey in the building right after you're listening. All right, guys,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it's time for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve
- 13:51Speaker 1: Harvey in the building, Steve. This one is from Marketa
- 13:54Speaker 1: in Norfolk. Markeita says, my husband and I have a
- 13:57Speaker 1: twenty five year old son, and he's been staying with
- 13:59Speaker 1: my husband's mother to help her since she had surgery
- 14:02Speaker 1: five months ago. My son is ready to move out
- 14:05Speaker 1: and get on with his life, but my mother in
- 14:07Speaker 1: law pitched a fit and said she can't live alone.
- 14:11Speaker 1: My husband's way of solving the problem is to tell
- 14:14Speaker 1: his mom she can move in with us so she
- 14:16Speaker 1: won't be lonely. There is no way I'm living with
- 14:20Speaker 1: this manipulative old woman. My husband and my son are
- 14:24Speaker 1: under her spell, but I'm not. What should I do? Well,
- 14:29Speaker 1: she definitely can't move into your house if you don't
- 14:32Speaker 1: want her. The boy wants to go and be on
- 14:37Speaker 1: his own. He's twenty five. I mean, is she does
- 14:42Speaker 1: she need help or she just don't want to live alone.
- 14:45Speaker 1: If she don't want to live alone, we can't have
- 14:46Speaker 1: to give you. We'll have to get you some company down.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I have to see you six in home. Well, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: we can drag you down and let you meet some
- 14:55Speaker 1: friends or something that you can't you're not living in him,
- 14:59Speaker 1: and she probably is manipulative. And she has a son
- 15:02Speaker 1: and grandson and the spell. But the boy don't want
- 15:05Speaker 1: to be in the spell on the more, he wants
- 15:07Speaker 1: to move and go live his life. And you can't
- 15:08Speaker 1: expect the twenty five year old boy to take care
- 15:10Speaker 1: of grandmama. Then and now her husband wants a volunteer.
- 15:13Speaker 1: She can move in with y'all. So y'all gonna be alone,
- 15:16Speaker 1: but you ain't gonna be watched TV. And it's going
- 15:20Speaker 1: to cause a problem in her marriage. Yeah, no, Hen'll
- 15:26Speaker 1: know old people hear everything, all right, So what should
- 15:35Speaker 1: she do? Set her husband down and explain to her
- 15:39Speaker 1: her feelings. She doesn't want to live with anybody, and
- 15:43Speaker 1: can they make some other arrangements? Yeah? I like that. Okay,
- 15:47Speaker 1: do you use the word mother? Jay? I don't think
- 15:54Speaker 1: you'll be able to do that, all right? Moving on,
- 15:59Speaker 1: Baby in Delaware writes, I'm dating a guy I've known
- 16:03Speaker 1: most of my life, but I've never thought of him
- 16:05Speaker 1: as my type until recently. We haven't been intimate, but
- 16:08Speaker 1: we do a lot of kissing and touching. I notice
- 16:12Speaker 1: that he doesn't wear underwear, and it's becoming a problem
- 16:14Speaker 1: because it moves all around and it's out of control
- 16:18Speaker 1: most of the time. This is a turn off for
- 16:21Speaker 1: me and a possible deal breaker. How can I be
- 16:24Speaker 1: honest and tell him he needs underwear? Or is this
- 16:27Speaker 1: normal nowadays? Lay Well? Are you for real? Are you
- 16:32Speaker 1: for real? A deal breaker is a man don't wear underwear. See,
- 16:37Speaker 1: let me tell you something bad. You may not have
- 16:39Speaker 1: thought of him that way, but he'd been thinking about
- 16:42Speaker 1: you that way. That's why he got no draws on
- 16:47Speaker 1: what happened. One more time I was talking about she's
- 16:52Speaker 1: never thought of him that way. But now they're getting
- 16:56Speaker 1: sack romantic. They haven't had sex, but do it, but
- 16:58Speaker 1: they do a lot of kitchen and kiss and then touching,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and it is moving all around because he don't wear underwear.
- 17:05Speaker 1: And she say that's a turnoff to her. So is
- 17:08Speaker 1: that a deal breaker because he don't wear underwear? How
- 17:12Speaker 1: the hell is a man don't wear underwear a deal breaker?
- 17:15Speaker 1: How stupid is that? And what I was trying to
- 17:18Speaker 1: tell bad was you may not have thought of him
- 17:21Speaker 1: in that way while y'all growing up, but he's been
- 17:24Speaker 1: thinking about you that way the whole time. Thus that's
- 17:28Speaker 1: why he ain't got on no damn underwear. Oh, because
- 17:33Speaker 1: we one step closer to glory without this underwear, you know,
- 17:39Speaker 1: And since you're doing all this stuff with it, you
- 17:42Speaker 1: might want to, you know, just try everything. And I
- 17:44Speaker 1: don't need no you know, tidy white? Is it boxes
- 17:49Speaker 1: all up in the way? But how is that a
- 17:54Speaker 1: turn off though? And a deal breaker? Maybe she doesn't
- 17:57Speaker 1: one of you or everyone, get your hands off of it.
- 18:08Speaker 1: That's exactly what it says. Yeah, she said, read it, Shirley,
- 18:13Speaker 1: read the letter. I noticed that he doesn't wear underwear,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and it's becoming a problem because it moves all around
- 18:19Speaker 1: and it's out of control most of the time. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: how does she know it moved and unless you have this,
- 18:26Speaker 1: unless you have noticed the location before, but you can
- 18:29Speaker 1: notice it when your eyes. You're saying with her hands, Shirley,
- 18:32Speaker 1: you didn't read the whole letter. Okay, so what is
- 18:40Speaker 1: they touch you? Shirley, you can stop all this being
- 18:46Speaker 1: innocent now reading these letters as a Christian? All right, yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 1: stop reading these letters like that. Okay. It's bouncing all around,
- 19:01Speaker 1: and it's most of the time, and what is supposed
- 19:05Speaker 1: to be she's asking is this normal nowadays? Or should
- 19:10Speaker 1: she tell him she needs underwear? You can tell him
- 19:14Speaker 1: he need underwear, But what did you keep touching it? Fall?
- 19:19Speaker 1: What do you think it's gonna happen? Is this woman stupid?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Don't I don't think it's that one. I just don't Sureley,
- 19:28Speaker 1: what do you think comments did? Now? You tell me?
- 19:31Speaker 1: I just think that he doesn't wear underwear period, And
- 19:34Speaker 1: because it's out of control most of the time, when
- 19:38Speaker 1: because we want something to happen, A man don't wear
- 19:42Speaker 1: drawls when he's anticipating something happening. Yep, that's what the most.
- 19:50Speaker 1: He can't wear underwear if it in case something does happen,
- 19:54Speaker 1: it's something wrong with him wearing underwear I mean taking
- 19:57Speaker 1: him off. Whatever happened to that? Accuse me, excuse me.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Let's stop this right here, Let's stop hold on, hold on,
- 20:07Speaker 1: let me just say this, and I ain't in your pisiness.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Let me just make this statement. Let's go to the next.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Y'all don't wear underwear all the time either. Let's move
- 20:19Speaker 1: on to the next. Damn questions. Not all the time,
- 20:23Speaker 1: most of the time, all right, it's not about a yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 1: let's just cello. I'm sick. Oh, we don't have enough
- 20:30Speaker 1: time for this one, Steve, because we spend too much
- 20:33Speaker 1: time with y'all in disbelief that he don't have no
- 20:36Speaker 1: damn underwear. I believe he doesn't wear underwear all right,
- 20:45Speaker 1: Coming up next, that wasn't a problem. Church complaints, Reverend Motown,
- 20:48Speaker 1: Reverend Adnoid is in for Deacon def Jam. We'll hear
- 20:52Speaker 1: from them right after this. You're listening to show coming
- 20:57Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have an
- 20:59Speaker 1: entertainment news, of course, but right now it is Monday
- 21:02Speaker 1: time for church complaints. With Reverend Motown and Reverend Adnoid
- 21:06Speaker 1: in for Dick and def Jam. Here we go. You
- 21:13Speaker 1: can tell brother tones of nasal congestion that we will
- 21:22Speaker 1: have a special guest this morning, my older brother that
- 21:29Speaker 1: got me into the ministry. If it or not for him,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I would have never found my way into the ministry.
- 21:42Speaker 1: He is my oldest brother, my dearest, dearish friend, Ladies
- 21:48Speaker 1: and gentlemen, one of the greatest preachers of all times,

- 22:56Speaker 1: you all know for her, stop asking for her birth certificate.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I was at the hospital praying for the mother and
- 23:07Speaker 1: father when it was born because they wasn't sure what
- 23:11Speaker 1: it was. It was through prayer we found out it
- 23:15Speaker 1: was a little baby girl. And you know the fact
- 23:19Speaker 1: that they didn't want them at first course she thought
- 23:22Speaker 1: it looked like a little werewolf baby. Oh we got
- 23:25Speaker 1: passed at cute this little thing, cute little thing you
- 23:28Speaker 1: want to see, just been shaved mutton chops. And we
- 23:31Speaker 1: love her who we do love her. You're absolutely right, Joe,
- 23:36Speaker 1: since she's had them. Sister Jenkins wants everybody to know
- 23:40Speaker 1: if anybody bought her pies for last week. But one
- 23:43Speaker 1: of her pies. Eat very carefully and very slowly. There's
- 23:48Speaker 1: a missing gold tooth and one of the pie. We
- 23:51Speaker 1: don't know where it is, but when you find it,
- 23:54Speaker 1: we need you to wash it off and return it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Wash it off and turn it now. We have an announcement.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Wherever you find it too, we still want you to
- 24:08Speaker 1: rinse it off and return it however you find it.
- 24:15Speaker 1: If you find it in the pie, or if you
- 24:19Speaker 1: find it, wash it off. If you find it in
- 24:23Speaker 1: the pie, if you find it in your mouth, wash
- 24:27Speaker 1: it off and return it off. Yes, And if you
- 24:30Speaker 1: find it in the bowl, wash it and return. Do
- 24:35Speaker 1: not bring it if you look down in there before
- 24:38Speaker 1: you flush and you see anything flicker, snatch that's it
- 24:43Speaker 1: reached that in there, get it, wash it off and
- 24:45Speaker 1: return it. Okay, all right, Moving right along. The only
- 24:49Speaker 1: white member we have in the church whose name is
- 24:52Speaker 1: Karen with a lack from noun, with a lack from
- 24:56Speaker 1: noome to be recognized and go by the name of Wilhelmina.
- 25:00Speaker 1: If that's okay with you. She want change her name
- 25:04Speaker 1: from Karen. If that's okay with you. What do you
- 25:06Speaker 1: think what you say? We're going to allow that your
- 25:12Speaker 1: name is Karen. You're gonna ride with that. We don't
- 25:15Speaker 1: get to take this call off. You ain't gonna take
- 25:17Speaker 1: your name. Got to deal with it. So another one not.
- 25:25Speaker 1: She could not change her name now because because of
- 25:35Speaker 1: COVID nineteen and everybody was locked down. This is to
- 25:38Speaker 1: you a lot of the willing workers we're not willing
- 25:42Speaker 1: now that COVID is over. They are now willing, and
- 25:46Speaker 1: they lie for you to hook them up with deacons
- 25:50Speaker 1: who are just as willing. Could you see about doing that?
- 25:53Speaker 1: They're willing now they weren't willing because of COVID. Would
- 25:57Speaker 1: you hook some of these willing workers up? Would you
- 25:59Speaker 1: be interested in doing that No, we're not gonna do
- 26:02Speaker 1: any of that such a thing. This ain't the dating
- 26:05Speaker 1: site or this is a ministry. So if you we
- 26:11Speaker 1: we we're gonna change this to the willing workers, to
- 26:13Speaker 1: the lord willing workers, lord willing, then if the Lord
- 26:18Speaker 1: ain't willing, then you'll be by yourself. That's all. That's
- 26:25Speaker 1: all right, all right, that's all you need. That Anderson
- 26:29Speaker 1: family has just enough for the funeral. They want to know,
- 26:34Speaker 1: would you be willing to preach pro bono? I meaning
- 26:38Speaker 1: you don't get paid for the mut Burrow service if
- 26:41Speaker 1: you're willing to go in and preach pro bono, but
- 26:44Speaker 1: the service, which is that's something you'd be interested in
- 26:47Speaker 1: do it. I've never known what pro bono was, nor
- 26:52Speaker 1: am I intending to figure it out? Or the fee
- 26:57Speaker 1: for preaching is still the same now unless you just
- 27:02Speaker 1: want your or little want to go on without no woods,
- 27:06Speaker 1: they are so be it. But these words, it's two
- 27:10Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars. Can they can they work out
- 27:14Speaker 1: a payment plan with you or pay something down and
- 27:17Speaker 1: then something they can pay half now and half right
- 27:23Speaker 1: for our talk. They won't They wants a week ten
- 27:30Speaker 1: dollars a week it's so hard to collect money from
- 27:33Speaker 1: deceased dollar. I got to feel my paper. Oh okay,
- 27:49Speaker 1: you've also been asked. You've also been asked to preach
- 27:52Speaker 1: at the backslider's retreat. They want to know when you
- 27:56Speaker 1: come down and you know a few words, you know,
- 28:00Speaker 1: bless them with you. They are paying now. They have money.
- 28:04Speaker 1: The backsliders have money. I am definitely gonna be there
- 28:09Speaker 1: for that. Yes, I have a special message to backsliders.
- 28:16Speaker 1: This is funny. We all we're gonna bring the band
- 28:20Speaker 1: with me or. I hired a lot of members from
- 28:23Speaker 1: War because the theme song is slipping into Dog. You're
- 28:32Speaker 1: gonna open with that. Whoa, that's the song. They love that.
- 28:36Speaker 1: They're willing to pay you five hundred dollars five wow,
- 28:40Speaker 1: five hundred. I'm never really, I'm there, really man. Yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 1: special private healing sessions too. Sometimes you gotta wash out
- 28:56Speaker 1: your system what you didn't backslid on m You know,
- 29:00Speaker 1: sometimes you got to know what you're praying for. Preach
- 29:03Speaker 1: pastor huh alright, the word, yes, that was a word,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Sister Carla coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:13Speaker 1: Entertainment and National news right after this. You're listening morning show, Well,
- 29:21Speaker 1: miss Anne is off today. We gotta let the people
- 29:24Speaker 1: know because guess what it is miss Anne's birthday. We
- 29:27Speaker 1: want to shout out miss Anne and wish her a
- 29:29Speaker 1: happy birthday. Every birthday, missing birthday missing, No, she doesn't
- 29:36Speaker 1: love her. She deserves this day. Enjoy your day, miss Anne. Well.
- 29:43Speaker 1: In Entertainment News nine at least or twenty twenty five,
- 29:50Speaker 1: this love us. She looks like, Yeah, she looks like
- 29:54Speaker 1: by day body all right? Anyway. This past Saturday, Vice
- 30:02Speaker 1: President Kamala Harris was the first sitting US president in
- 30:06Speaker 1: history to march in a Pride event. She marched with
- 30:10Speaker 1: her husband, the Second Gentleman's Doug m Off, at Capitol Pride.
- 30:15Speaker 1: She wore a Love is Love t shirt as she
- 30:17Speaker 1: walked with other Pride goers to her rally at Freedom Plaza.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So congratulations to her making history yet a guess right,
- 30:25Speaker 1: being the first, yes, sitting VP to march in a
- 30:28Speaker 1: Pride parade. June is Pride month, and so um congratulations
- 30:33Speaker 1: also in and she looked like she was having a
- 30:38Speaker 1: great time too out there Yeah and other entertainment news,
- 30:44Speaker 1: Wendy Williams posted details about spending time with lamar Odom
- 30:49Speaker 1: she posted, he spent time with me after his win.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Of course, she was referring to Lamar's t k oh.
- 30:54Speaker 1: That's right, I said, t k oh fight with Aaron Carter. Anyway,
- 31:00Speaker 1: when Wendy went on to say that he put his
- 31:02Speaker 1: belt on me and commented on my small waist in
- 31:05Speaker 1: a good way, she said he was very wanting to
- 31:09Speaker 1: take a shower and he left her suite. She said
- 31:13Speaker 1: she got in her car and fell into her fortress
- 31:16Speaker 1: bed at four a m. So she went to see
- 31:19Speaker 1: the fight. They hung out a little bit and then
- 31:22Speaker 1: she got in her car and went home and got
- 31:25Speaker 1: at home about four a m. So sounds like she
- 31:27Speaker 1: had a good night and wow, oh okay, well how
- 31:31Speaker 1: are you doing? Yeah? Yeah yeah. Did you did you
- 31:36Speaker 1: think that he was gonna win the fight? No? I
- 31:39Speaker 1: guess Aaron Carter? No, No, that look that fight look crazy.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Yeah it did. Lamar said he was gonna win it
- 31:48Speaker 1: from from day one? Would you say, Junior? He said
- 31:51Speaker 1: he didn't see it. I see it, bless your ass? Miss?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Was it a mess? Junior? Tell us what it was?
- 32:01Speaker 1: It was two people had no bins in the ring
- 32:03Speaker 1: fight the one played basketball, one saying what y'all doing
- 32:07Speaker 1: in it. Yeah, it looks so, but I don't understand
- 32:13Speaker 1: what what what what is? I don't understand the story? Well, no,
- 32:20Speaker 1: she just went well all she was. When Wendy has
- 32:22Speaker 1: been saying that she was going to the fight, she
- 32:25Speaker 1: didn't think Lamar was gonna win. She went to the
- 32:27Speaker 1: fight Lamar not only one. He knocked him out. And
- 32:30Speaker 1: then after the fight they hung out. Wendy and Lamar
- 32:33Speaker 1: hung out, and she was saying, you know, he put
- 32:36Speaker 1: his belt around her and he commented on her small
- 32:39Speaker 1: waist and you know, then he said, hey, look I
- 32:41Speaker 1: got to take a shower. So he left. She got
- 32:43Speaker 1: in her car and went home. But it was about
- 32:46Speaker 1: four am though when she finally got home. So that's all.
- 32:50Speaker 1: It's just she was just telling how her night went,
- 32:53Speaker 1: basically after the fight with Lamar Odom. Yeah, with Lamar Odom,
- 32:58Speaker 1: who's been on her show and every thing. And you
- 33:00Speaker 1: know six seven Eric Carter five five, What the hell
- 33:03Speaker 1: would we fight? You back to that? What they fight for?
- 33:08Speaker 1: He's six seven air card five five. He was gonna lose.
- 33:12Speaker 1: It's foot tallerant. Yes, well, yeah, all right, that's the story,
- 33:23Speaker 1: and uh, is this the thing now I have to
- 33:26Speaker 1: ask that question because it looks like Floyd Mayweather is
- 33:29Speaker 1: the latest celebrity to have his home burglarized. The champ
- 33:33Speaker 1: turned to social media for help, with hopes that it
- 33:35Speaker 1: would lead him to those responsible for robbing his home.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Early Saturday, Mayweather posted a message to his Instagram account
- 33:43Speaker 1: and said one's home is their sanctuary, place of peace, relaxation,
- 33:47Speaker 1: and comfort. When someone violates that sanctuary, it is disturbing
- 33:51Speaker 1: and hurtful, he says. One. I love this. One of
- 33:55Speaker 1: my homes was burglarized in Las Vegas. They stole many
- 33:59Speaker 1: valuable handbags and other belongings of suitable value. I am
- 34:03Speaker 1: offering if you know anything about it, I am offering
- 34:07Speaker 1: at least one hundred thousand dollars in reward money for information.
- 34:11Speaker 1: That's a lot of money, baby, for information that leads
- 34:14Speaker 1: to the return of my belongings. The level of disrespect
- 34:18Speaker 1: and greed it takes for someone to do this is unfathomable.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So there you go, conversation. But yeah, you post pictures
- 34:29Speaker 1: of a table full of money, what do you expect
- 34:32Speaker 1: that's going to happen? That is, when you just show
- 34:35Speaker 1: pictures of tables full of thousands and thousands of dollars.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You don't want anybody's house to break in. But yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 1: when Roberts see that, they don't hit your house. I mean, yeah, yeah,
- 34:47Speaker 1: that's a true statement. Ja. Yeah, I believe you when
- 34:51Speaker 1: you start. Yeah, come on it right right, right, yeah, right,
- 34:55Speaker 1: And Floyd said thank you to anyone who comes for
- 34:58Speaker 1: with any information. God bles. He didn't share further details
- 35:01Speaker 1: about the burglary, like when it took place or at
- 35:05Speaker 1: the estimated cost of the belongings that were taking Now,
- 35:09Speaker 1: we had a mask home. That narrowed it down. You're
- 35:15Speaker 1: trying to get that hundred thousand dollars, Junior. Yeah, they
- 35:19Speaker 1: wore black, they came in at night. That's it, he said,
- 35:29Speaker 1: one of my home. So he can surely afford one
- 35:32Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars in reward. You know that is sad
- 35:38Speaker 1: because he's right, your home as your sanctuary. Yeah, and
- 35:42Speaker 1: it is a violation. But on the other hand, you're right, Jake,
- 35:47Speaker 1: that was a lot of money on that table. All right, Well,
- 35:52Speaker 1: we hope you, um you find the robber. Um, we
- 35:56Speaker 1: hope you do, Floyd. All right, coming up in twenty
- 35:58Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna look into the mind
- 36:01Speaker 1: of j Anthony Brown. Right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 36:08Speaker 1: time to introduce your boy. Look at you. It's crazy
- 36:11Speaker 1: Mine plays and gentlemen, j Anthony Brown. Happy birthday to
- 36:14Speaker 1: my granddaughter Akia. Belated birthday. And tonight at Raymond Theater,
- 36:20Speaker 1: we got Dale Hughley, Don dec Kurb, Bruce, Bruce eRNAs,
- 36:25Speaker 1: Ja Earthquake, and myself. We're doing a benefit for sin
- 36:29Speaker 1: Bad tonight Raymond Theater. Ten y'all, it's tonight, y'all, come
- 36:34Speaker 1: on out and support, all right. Monique was in the
- 36:36Speaker 1: news a couple of weeks ago. I just took what
- 36:39Speaker 1: she was saying and put it to music. So this
- 36:42Speaker 1: ain't me. I'm not I don't feel this way. What
- 36:45Speaker 1: I'm doing is putting what she said. So don't no,
- 36:50Speaker 1: it's not me. No, I don't feel this way. I
- 36:53Speaker 1: just you know, sometimes you do look bad, but if
- 36:56Speaker 1: that's how you want to look, it didn't so be
- 36:58Speaker 1: it today. I'm sorry looking him baby. I know, um,
- 37:05Speaker 1: I know you've been calling me, You've texted me your email,
- 37:11Speaker 1: and you stop at my mama house. I just want
- 37:16Speaker 1: to keep it one hundred and one, which you gave me.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Let you know where I'm coming from. I want to
- 37:20Speaker 1: be up front, which I want to be all up
- 37:22Speaker 1: in your face with what I have to say. Check
- 37:25Speaker 1: it out. Don't get mad and girl, you look unless
- 37:30Speaker 1: you're killing your sets, feel you're digging me out the moon.
- 37:37Speaker 1: I don't wanna get with. Do you make sure your
- 37:41Speaker 1: wig sticks you're looking like James Brown and take off
- 37:47Speaker 1: those furis shoes. I'm just trying to scoop. Oh, you
- 37:54Speaker 1: don't get so mad, you don't wanna fight. Take off
- 37:58Speaker 1: the bum at clothes can make me proud to be
- 38:02Speaker 1: who win of You don't want to say, I'm told
- 38:05Speaker 1: your soul you got asking why whine you just like that?
- 38:13Speaker 1: I was why, wh wh why I need a number?
- 38:20Speaker 1: Whe get me wife? Like that? I was like wild
- 38:27Speaker 1: blah blah wh wh wh wh wh wh wh why why?
- 38:45Speaker 1: So So I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just asking
- 38:49Speaker 1: why why I'm I'm not saying it, but but Jay,
- 38:56Speaker 1: behold my favorite party. So huld up, ain't going my
- 38:59Speaker 1: favorite part? You in for that? Steve boy You yeah, man,
- 39:07Speaker 1: Me and Jay been talking about doing it for a
- 39:09Speaker 1: long time. You gotta do it, man. We gotta do
- 39:12Speaker 1: a song together, man, but Cej, I need more than
- 39:14Speaker 1: one verse though. Yeah, all right, we'll be back with
- 39:19Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. A beautiful after
- 39:23Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, what
- 39:28Speaker 1: is going on? We have to ask that question. Last
- 39:30Speaker 1: weekend and it's Atlanti, Michigan. Right outside of Detroit. A
- 39:34Speaker 1: six year old boy was nearly killed when a neighbor,
- 39:38Speaker 1: twenty nine year old Ryan lee Win, chased the six
- 39:41Speaker 1: year old boy with a sledgehammer and then shot him
- 39:46Speaker 1: in the arm after the boy rode his bike in
- 39:49Speaker 1: his yard. You're that mad? The child survived, However, Ryan
- 39:52Speaker 1: lee Win was free out on bail. He was out
- 39:56Speaker 1: of jail on a very low ten thousand dollars on
- 40:00Speaker 1: So you gotta take a listen to a news interview
- 40:02Speaker 1: from the boy and his father. Check it out. And
- 40:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out how he got a bond
- 40:07Speaker 1: that was so low for trying to kill my kids.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Arnold Daniel trying to figure out why Ryan lee Went
- 40:13Speaker 1: is out of jail after allegedly shooting his son Kobe
- 40:17Speaker 1: a sledgehammer. But that's not working until fast, So then
- 40:21Speaker 1: what did you do kind pooh shot me here? Unbelievable, believable, unbelievable. Basically,
- 40:33Speaker 1: you know, here's here's a deal. He cannot go back
- 40:38Speaker 1: to that neighborhood. So he got out, but he can't
- 40:40Speaker 1: go home. So I don't know what's gonna happen. But
- 40:46Speaker 1: I mean, what are your charges? See what's the charges?
- 40:50Speaker 1: This is jail time. There's no excuse for shooting a
- 40:53Speaker 1: six year old child. No, not chasing him with a
- 40:56Speaker 1: sledge hammer either. There's no excuse in your yard. Yeah
- 41:01Speaker 1: you're that mad lord, that's christ. Yeah. But I'm gonna
- 41:07Speaker 1: tell you, hey, man, you shoot my six year old
- 41:10Speaker 1: unless I don't even want to tell because I promise you, man,
- 41:14Speaker 1: I promise you. We're not having a discussion. We ain't
- 41:16Speaker 1: talking on TV. I don't give a damn hollow your
- 41:19Speaker 1: bond is. You're gonna wish your ass was back in there.
- 41:22Speaker 1: But that was a strong little six year old boy, though,
- 41:26Speaker 1: And you heard what he said. He said he came
- 41:28Speaker 1: after him with a sledge hammer, but he said I
- 41:30Speaker 1: was too fast fast. He said I was too fast
- 41:33Speaker 1: for him for that, and then he shot him through
- 41:36Speaker 1: the window. I'm even gonna understand, and let hit him
- 41:43Speaker 1: child six inches over and this child is dead. Yea.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Truly it would have hit his heart. Truly. That's attempted murder. Yeah, absolutely,
- 41:53Speaker 1: all day that's that's attempted murder. There's no reason to
- 41:58Speaker 1: shoot a child. Your life wasn't in you're inside. You
- 42:01Speaker 1: shot through a window at a six year old? What's
- 42:04Speaker 1: wrong with you? But even with a slash hammer, it's
- 42:07Speaker 1: attempted murder because that's that's a lethal weapon as well,
- 42:11Speaker 1: especially in a six year old. Something's wrong with this man.
- 42:14Speaker 1: And that ain't none of my damn fault. Prison helped
- 42:18Speaker 1: straighten you out. Yes, country, it's just the time. People
- 42:24Speaker 1: are just crazy, you know, man, this country, I'm just
- 42:27Speaker 1: gonna you know, it's just it's it's it's we're We're
- 42:34Speaker 1: in the falling world. We really are. And this country
- 42:38Speaker 1: is one of the places that's in a very bad
- 42:41Speaker 1: position because of the freedoms we have, because of the
- 42:46Speaker 1: laws we have and the laws we don't have, and
- 42:50Speaker 1: because of the climate that was unleashed for four years
- 42:56Speaker 1: of Donald Trump and now it's it's it's given these
- 43:01Speaker 1: people the feeling of the right. Did you see that
- 43:06Speaker 1: thing where that white lady was defacing this black statue, yes,
- 43:12Speaker 1: with a purple spray pant. Now see I want to
- 43:15Speaker 1: know what happened to her? Yeah? See where where does
- 43:18Speaker 1: she work at? Where? And she and she was so
- 43:22Speaker 1: hateful and she explicitly said why she was doing it
- 43:26Speaker 1: because you don't replace a white man with an effing
- 43:30Speaker 1: black man. She said that and was just defacing it.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Gave her name her social kid number. This woman was
- 43:37Speaker 1: just yeah, this is me, this is what I'm doing,
- 43:39Speaker 1: and just spray painting, just facing this statue of this
- 43:43Speaker 1: black guy that that was was helped one of these
- 43:48Speaker 1: discoverers and all this him. This sickness. Man, They're just
- 43:53Speaker 1: some sick ass people in this world. And you gotta
- 43:55Speaker 1: pay for your sickness. Sorry. Yeah, well you know, I
- 44:00Speaker 1: want to say this. After public outcry on social media
- 44:03Speaker 1: and in the community, Ryan Lee wins bond was raised
- 44:06Speaker 1: to one hundred thousand dollars and he was taken back
- 44:10Speaker 1: into custody. So thank god for that. Now, coming up next,
- 44:14Speaker 1: Junior is in for the nephew with today's prank phone
- 44:16Speaker 1: call coming up. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 44:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 44:24Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry
- 44:27Speaker 1: letter for today, the subject he who finds a wife?
- 44:31Speaker 1: But right now the nephew is here with today's prank
- 44:34Speaker 1: phone call. Yeah, we'll get into that in a minute,
- 44:36Speaker 1: but first the prank. But I a Sketeppian for the nephew.
- 44:42Speaker 1: He it is just because you know this goes along
- 44:45Speaker 1: as with your strawberry leader. Surely he who finds a wife? Well,
- 44:47Speaker 1: the prank is me and my Jesus. Yeah, me and
- 44:53Speaker 1: my Jesus. Come on. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 44:58Speaker 1: his sister. How you doing. I'm giving you a call
- 45:03Speaker 1: on behalf of Baptist Church. You are a member there,
- 45:07Speaker 1: am I right? I am? Okay, listen, I'm calling you.
- 45:12Speaker 1: They are some of the members have gotten together and
- 45:14Speaker 1: had a meeting and wanted me to give you a call.
- 45:19Speaker 1: It seems that a lot of them are complaining about
- 45:24Speaker 1: Sunday services that go on and wanted for me to
- 45:27Speaker 1: give you a call on their behalf so that we
- 45:30Speaker 1: can see if we can address the problem and talk
- 45:32Speaker 1: to you diligently as possible and try to get the
- 45:35Speaker 1: problem rectified. What's going on? Well, it seems like that
- 45:41Speaker 1: a lot of members are complaining. I'm sorry, and what
- 45:45Speaker 1: is your name again? My name is Man. I'm not
- 45:49Speaker 1: actually a member of the church. I've just been the
- 45:51Speaker 1: one that they've been asked to give you a call
- 45:53Speaker 1: and try to talk on the members behalf, so maybe
- 45:55Speaker 1: we can get this problem, rectify that you that they
- 45:58Speaker 1: have as for you are concerned, now, okay, go ahead.
- 46:02Speaker 1: What I'm just trying to see what this is in
- 46:03Speaker 1: regards to go ahead, Well, it seems like the members
- 46:06Speaker 1: of the church are complaining about that you're doing too
- 46:10Speaker 1: much shouting at church on Sunday, and it seems to
- 46:14Speaker 1: be going on every Sunday. You're running up and down
- 46:16Speaker 1: the aisle and you're shouting all over the place, and
- 46:18Speaker 1: it's me. I've been singled out about my shouting. Is
- 46:23Speaker 1: that what you're saying, wellever Dinny's distracting, man, You're distracting
- 46:27Speaker 1: everyone from me getting the word and listening to the
- 46:29Speaker 1: word and being involved in the service. And that's the
- 46:32Speaker 1: purpose of the call is to see if we can
- 46:34Speaker 1: get you to tone it down some. Okay, So the
- 46:37Speaker 1: whole church is complaining about me shouting the way people
- 46:40Speaker 1: run up and down them off every Sunday and almost
- 46:43Speaker 1: saying cart wheels and flips, and they singling me out
- 46:46Speaker 1: complained about me. Well, man, I don't know how it
- 46:49Speaker 1: is that you can see everybody else doing cart wheels
- 46:51Speaker 1: when you're the ones that they say is the one
- 46:53Speaker 1: that's doing them. Am I being singled out? Man? All
- 46:57Speaker 1: I'm saying is that they're saying that you're doing too
- 47:00Speaker 1: too much shouting and too much running at this church.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Now I'm just the message, okay. But they can't tell
- 47:05Speaker 1: me how to shout. They don't. They can't tell me
- 47:07Speaker 1: what's going on in my life, what's gonna keep me
- 47:09Speaker 1: from praising God? And they, I mean, they could just
- 47:12Speaker 1: they could go somewhere else with that, but they're not
- 47:14Speaker 1: gonna tell me that I can't praise my God. They
- 47:16Speaker 1: don't know how good God. It's betting to me. And
- 47:19Speaker 1: you know what, I understand that I agree with you wholeheartedly,
- 47:22Speaker 1: but it's becoming a distraction. I mean, they was at
- 47:25Speaker 1: the point last night talking about should we put some
- 47:28Speaker 1: seatbelts on the pews so so you can stay down
- 47:31Speaker 1: we stay We'll put some seat But how they're gonna
- 47:33Speaker 1: tell people they can't shout in church, embrace God. What
- 47:36Speaker 1: do we call the church for? Well, you do come
- 47:38Speaker 1: to We need to be trying to prase God and
- 47:40Speaker 1: get they all shout on and stop looking at me
- 47:41Speaker 1: and everybody what I'm doing. We're gonna need you to
- 47:44Speaker 1: quit running up and down these aisles and doing what
- 47:46Speaker 1: you go I'm sorry, said you know. I'm trying to
- 47:49Speaker 1: stay calm. I'm trying my best. Who Jesus Chief sure
- 47:54Speaker 1: that that's not happy? You can't tell me I gotta
- 47:56Speaker 1: stop shouting? Okay, man, But let me ask you. Are
- 47:59Speaker 1: you running now? Aren't you just standing still? Talking? But
- 48:02Speaker 1: I don't have to run right now? Okay, what I'm
- 48:05Speaker 1: trying to get you to do? If I want to
- 48:07Speaker 1: run up and down this street right now, I can
- 48:08Speaker 1: run up and down the street and place God. But
- 48:10Speaker 1: they're not gonna tell me to stop tchouting at church.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Can we get you to be a little bit more
- 48:14Speaker 1: reserved as what we see? Man, let me let me
- 48:16Speaker 1: go ahead and go further on what they do the
- 48:19Speaker 1: spirit moves. Okay, well, let me move and tell you
- 48:23Speaker 1: what they've told me. Now, if we can't get to
- 48:27Speaker 1: the point where you can, you know, tone it down,
- 48:29Speaker 1: then we may have to ask you to leave them.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Ask me, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, you let them ask me.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Why don't they want me to leave the church. I've
- 48:41Speaker 1: been at that church for fifteen years. I'm not leaving
- 48:44Speaker 1: the church. I'm gonna run up and down. I'm not
- 48:46Speaker 1: gonna run on the church. I ain't even turn me
- 48:49Speaker 1: where I feel like it not. Now, listen, that's all.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm okay, go ahead, I'm gonna be there. I'm going
- 48:56Speaker 1: to I am going to be there on Sunday. Man,
- 48:59Speaker 1: and I have been the person that's been appointed to
- 49:02Speaker 1: make sure that you're not running up and down these
- 49:04Speaker 1: house and shotting like this. You're got to keep yourself
- 49:07Speaker 1: reserved so people can hear the word of God. You
- 49:09Speaker 1: are standing in people's word. That's what you're doing. You're
- 49:12Speaker 1: in the whale. If they come trying to send me down,
- 49:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna get them a word, and it ain't gonna
- 49:16Speaker 1: be your God. So I let him put that hands
- 49:18Speaker 1: up on me here now listen, I'm trying to get that. Now.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You could say I haven't been in that church fifteen years.
- 49:24Speaker 1: If I want to run, damn shout, jump quitting whatever.
- 49:27Speaker 1: I want to do. I'm gonna doing it. Ain't nobody
- 49:29Speaker 1: gonna stop me. You're gonna have to stop this. This
- 49:32Speaker 1: past Sunday was your last Sunday doing it, and you're
- 49:34Speaker 1: not gonna do with this Sunday. Like I said, just
- 49:37Speaker 1: why let and I'm telling you could tell the I
- 49:39Speaker 1: don't shoot the deacon boyd, the deacon as the minister's
- 49:42Speaker 1: wives or who all asked you want to tell, let
- 49:44Speaker 1: him put their hands on me and see if I
- 49:46Speaker 1: don't swing on them. I'm gonna come run about the
- 49:48Speaker 1: spirit and swing on it. Telling that now because he
- 49:50Speaker 1: tells you to really push me there on and tried
- 49:53Speaker 1: and try. Let me ask you this here, Well, you're
- 49:56Speaker 1: trying to show that I'm saved and never but you
- 49:58Speaker 1: make it you if you're making me reverse back to
- 50:00Speaker 1: my own ways and you you read it for me off,
- 50:03Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna do. Okay, Well, let me ask
- 50:04Speaker 1: you this, whey is the god at right now? And
- 50:07Speaker 1: you where's the one that say? Yeah? It was? The
- 50:10Speaker 1: God was in me when I was trying to be
- 50:12Speaker 1: calm with you at first to tell you don't be
- 50:13Speaker 1: calling me with this foolishness. But now you'd have made
- 50:16Speaker 1: the other side of me rose up. Well, you wouldn't
- 50:18Speaker 1: raise it up in You wouldn't raise it up in
- 50:20Speaker 1: me too. Guess what come, Sidney, You're gonna set you'all
- 50:23Speaker 1: in that pew and you ain't gonna you know when
- 50:26Speaker 1: you call yourself on the pew. Okay, all right, all right,
- 50:31Speaker 1: we gonna see how where I'm not sitting at pep
- 50:33Speaker 1: a matter fact, first day side of the morning, I'm
- 50:35Speaker 1: going the past Oh yeah, deacon you are whatever your
- 50:39Speaker 1: name is, I'm gonna telling about it. God, how long
- 50:43Speaker 1: you need to lose? I would be talking to pastor
- 50:46Speaker 1: myself and letting him know about this situation. You don't talk,
- 50:49Speaker 1: You don't. We can call a pastor, right, we just
- 50:52Speaker 1: passing on anyway. You don't talk to pastor, I talk
- 50:55Speaker 1: to pastor. I'm to pastor. I don't man at this church.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Fifteen Yes, like I said, I'll tell you. Oh, Jesus,
- 51:00Speaker 1: j old you feel old Jesus not not not not
- 51:04Speaker 1: see just like this here you see how you calling
- 51:06Speaker 1: on him and you standing yeah, because I'm calling on
- 51:09Speaker 1: him to kidneys. Just really going to cuss you out
- 51:11Speaker 1: right there because you didn't really hit my nerve. I
- 51:13Speaker 1: got one more thing I need to say to you ladies.
- 51:16Speaker 1: You know you got a fan real quick because you're
- 51:18Speaker 1: gonna talk to this operator that's his nephew timing from
- 51:20Speaker 1: the Steve Harvard Morning Show. You just got prank by
- 51:25Speaker 1: your girl. You're not you know, Oh, I'm oh, I'm oh,
- 51:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna kill but oh Lord up here cursing on
- 51:38Speaker 1: the part. Okay, Jesus, I got one more thing, baby.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. What is the baddest I'm
- 51:44Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land, Dud
- 51:47Speaker 1: Harvard Morning. We even have all this running through the church.
- 51:54Speaker 1: You know, to have all that much need you to
- 52:00Speaker 1: be a little more reserved, right right? She said, if
- 52:03Speaker 1: I want to run, jump and flip, he said, Gus, Jesus,
- 52:11Speaker 1: but somebody called you with that would know. Yes, I'm
- 52:15Speaker 1: what she says, Well, what is we going down to
- 52:19Speaker 1: the church? Fault? Right? You don't know how good God
- 52:26Speaker 1: being to me? You keep on with this, Jesus past
- 52:35Speaker 1: I told you you know how to cuss real good.
- 52:38Speaker 1: They really know how to cuss. They do all of
- 52:41Speaker 1: them Christian. I am a Christian. I've cut back. If
- 52:51Speaker 1: that's what you think it is. But oh I've cut back.

- 53:09Speaker 1: but to be saved it was. And you know what
- 53:18Speaker 1: I don't do, man, I don't, I don't. I don't
- 53:19Speaker 1: even listen to people people tell I don't know. How
- 53:21Speaker 1: you call yourself? Say same when you call yours? Yeah, alright, alright, same.
- 53:27Speaker 1: What you call yourself saved is exactly how I call man.
- 53:31Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Junior. In for nephew. Coming up

- 54:03Speaker 1: it's time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friends
- 54:05Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry. Thank you, Junior, my good friend. Subject he
- 54:09Speaker 1: who finds a wife. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm in need
- 54:13Speaker 1: of advice. I'm a thirty six year old divorced man
- 54:16Speaker 1: and I'm engaged to be married. I'm a middle school
- 54:20Speaker 1: teacher and I have two children by my first marriage.
- 54:23Speaker 1: My wife is also a teacher at the same school,
- 54:26Speaker 1: and we divorced after Okay, I'm gonna say it. I'm
- 54:36Speaker 1: gonna say it. This is crazy, right. We divorced after
- 54:40Speaker 1: I caught her cheating on me in her car with
- 54:42Speaker 1: the track coach at our school. What After the scandal,
- 54:51Speaker 1: he transferred to a high school and my ex wife
- 54:55Speaker 1: married him. It was held to have to work with
- 54:58Speaker 1: her after she moved on with the guy that she
- 55:00Speaker 1: cheated on me with. One day, she came into my
- 55:03Speaker 1: classroom and begged me to give her a minute to talk.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Then she started crying and asked for my forgiveness, but
- 55:10Speaker 1: I was not ready to forgive her. She grabbed me
- 55:13Speaker 1: and started kissing on me, and all of the feelings
- 55:16Speaker 1: I had for her came back. We had sex in
- 55:20Speaker 1: the storage closet in my classroom, and I did not
- 55:25Speaker 1: use protection. After the sex, she said she wanted to
- 55:28Speaker 1: get her family back together. And she asked me to
- 55:31Speaker 1: break up with her fiance. With my fiance, I felt
- 55:35Speaker 1: like crap because I never wanted to cheat on my fiance,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and for the next few weeks I avoided my ex
- 55:41Speaker 1: wife and ignored her calls. She popped back up in
- 55:44Speaker 1: my classroom a week ago and I asked her to lead.
- 55:48Speaker 1: She blurted out that she's pregnant and it's my child.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Then she said, we need to get our family back
- 55:55Speaker 1: together for the baby's sake. This woman cheated on me
- 55:58Speaker 1: and broke my heart and made a big mistake by
- 56:01Speaker 1: having sex with her. I'm a great father, so I
- 56:04Speaker 1: want to do what's right. I've always thought when a
- 56:07Speaker 1: man finds a wife, he finds a good thing, but
- 56:10Speaker 1: not in this case. What am I supposed to do now?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Please help? Well, she wants you to leave your fiance,
- 56:16Speaker 1: but has she left her husband? The track coach, all right,
- 56:21Speaker 1: you didn't mention the timeline here, but this sounds like
- 56:24Speaker 1: it kind of happened really fast. From the time you
- 56:28Speaker 1: caught her cheating, it's been NonStop craziness. At least the
- 56:32Speaker 1: coach had sense enough to move on to another school,
- 56:36Speaker 1: and with his all the way wrong self, let's just
- 56:39Speaker 1: say that all the way wrong. The other thing is,
- 56:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't believe a word, not a word that came
- 56:45Speaker 1: out of your ex wife's mouth about being pregnant. I
- 56:48Speaker 1: just wouldn't believe it. Without any receipts. She'd have to
- 56:51Speaker 1: show me something. She's already proven herself to be a
- 56:54Speaker 1: liar and a cheater and a very untrustworthy person. She
- 56:58Speaker 1: betrayed you, and she did it with the tea at
- 57:00Speaker 1: the same school, the track coach. Come on, now, she
- 57:04Speaker 1: had no regard at that time, no respect for you,
- 57:07Speaker 1: the kids, none of that. When it was going down,
- 57:10Speaker 1: you know, the only way to find out the truth
- 57:13Speaker 1: is to get a DNA test. But the thing is
- 57:17Speaker 1: your fiance could find out about that, and that could
- 57:20Speaker 1: create more drama, more mess. Not to mention you would
- 57:24Speaker 1: hurt her deeply. I'm assuming you haven't told her and
- 57:27Speaker 1: she knows nothing right now. The question is, though, do
- 57:30Speaker 1: you still love your ex wife and do you want
- 57:32Speaker 1: to get back together with her? Deep down? You haven't
- 57:35Speaker 1: said one way or the other. And you gotta remember now,
- 57:38Speaker 1: she cheated way below the belt on you and broke
- 57:42Speaker 1: up your family, the kids, everything. She left you. Guys,
- 57:45Speaker 1: and went with this guy that she cheated on you with.
- 57:47Speaker 1: The thing is, maybe you will be ready to forgive
- 57:50Speaker 1: her one day, even if it's just for the children's sake.
- 57:54Speaker 1: But can you ever forget what she did? I don't
- 57:58Speaker 1: think so. I don't think you're going to be a
- 58:00Speaker 1: will forget that. So I say take some time to
- 58:02Speaker 1: make your next move, and make your next move be
- 58:04Speaker 1: your best move, because you can still be a great
- 58:06Speaker 1: father if this truly is your baby, even if you
- 58:10Speaker 1: and your wife are no longer together. She's trifling. You
- 58:13Speaker 1: gotta put that in there, your trifling ex wife, Steve.
- 58:18Speaker 1: All Right, this letter right here, I don't I wouldn't
- 58:23Speaker 1: even have to write the letter. If I were you,
- 58:25Speaker 1: I really wouldn't bro because this is a no brainer
- 58:28Speaker 1: for me. You're thirty six, you divorced, and you engaged
- 58:32Speaker 1: to be married. That's all that matters right now. Your
- 58:36Speaker 1: middle school teacher, you had two children by your first wife.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Your first wife was a teacher at the same school,
- 58:41Speaker 1: and you had to get a divorce because you caught
- 58:43Speaker 1: this hell for cheating on you in her car with
- 58:47Speaker 1: the track coach at our school. Now I don't know
- 58:53Speaker 1: where the car was parked, but wherever it was this
- 58:57Speaker 1: track coach dumb enough to get in this married woman's car.
- 59:04Speaker 1: And then after the scandal, he transferred to a high
- 59:07Speaker 1: school that was to avoid to ask whooping and my
- 59:11Speaker 1: ex wife married him. Then you say it was hale.
- 59:16Speaker 1: I have to work with her after she moved on
- 59:18Speaker 1: with the guys. She cheated on with you, that's okay.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I got dzus all the facts. Then one day she
- 59:26Speaker 1: came your classroom, begged you for a minute to talk.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You started, she started crying to ask you for forgiveness,
- 59:32Speaker 1: but I wasn't ready to forgive it. She grabbed me
- 59:33Speaker 1: and started kissing on me, and all the feelings I
- 59:35Speaker 1: had for her came back. We had sex in the
- 59:37Speaker 1: storage closing in my classroom. I didn't use protection. It
- 59:40Speaker 1: all happened so quickly, and she's being very aggressive after
- 59:43Speaker 1: it all happened, and then says she wanted to get
- 59:47Speaker 1: her family back together and asked me to break up
- 59:49Speaker 1: with my fiance. That didn't happen. It break up with
- 59:54Speaker 1: your fiance for what you forgot what this heafer did.
- 59:59Speaker 1: So what you had said in the closet, and she
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: was in there too, and you got caught up, So
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: what forget about it? Right it off and now have
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the lie that you need to produce to continue with
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: your life. Right after this. There is a lie involved here, surprise.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: up with twenty three minutes after the hours, subject he
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: who finds a wife, will get back into it right
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Morning show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is he who
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: finds a wife? This letter right his is kind of ridiculous,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: but I'm gonna try to work with this young man.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Thirty six year old divorced man engage to be married.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: He's a middle school teacher, got two children by his
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: first marriage, and his first wife was a teach at
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the same school. They got a divorce because he caught
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: her cheating on him in her car with the track
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: coach at day school. First of all, in the car
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: is low, that's low wow. After the scandal, he transferred
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: to a high school and my ex wife married him.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: What and then it was hale. I had to come
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: to work with her after she moved on with the
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: guy that she cheated on me with. She got a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: lot of guts. Man, this is a gutsy, low life
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: chick right here. One day she came to the classroom
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: and begged me to give her minute talk. She started crying,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: ask me for forgiveness. I was not ready to forgive her.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: She grabbed me and started kissing on me, and all
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: the feelings I had for her cane back. We had
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: sex in the stories closing in my classroom. I ain't
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: used production. It happened so quickly. She was being very aggressive.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: After the sex, she said she wanted to get her
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: family back together, and she asked me to break up
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: with my fiance. Wait, wait a minute, what is coming
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: from Wait a minute? You then came in here. You
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: ain't gave us a timeline. But she didn't get married.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: She want to get her family back together, so she
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: comes in here to have sex with her ex husband
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: that has a fiance. So obviously both of you all
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: had moved on with your life. I felt like crap
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: because I never wanted to cheat on my fiance. Okay,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: bro it hanim spared a moment. Shut your damn mouth now.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: For the next few weeks, I avoided my ex wife
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and ignored her calls. She popped back up in my
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: classroom a week ago. I asked her to leave. She
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: blurted out that she's pregnant and it's my child. Ignore that, oh,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: ignore that. That's bullcrap. She's pregnant by the coach. She's
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: decided that she want her family back because hearing the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: coach ain't working out. She saw that you a better man,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: so now she's devised this scheme to get you back.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: She came in that to have sex with you. This
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: was not a she planned this. And now she come down,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I'm pregnant and it's your child. Oh it ain't. Then
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: she said, we need to get our family back together
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: for the baby's sake. What baby? What baby? And where
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: her husband? And all this? Like Sherley, where's her husband?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: And all this? Do he know she went in and
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: had sex with you in the closet. But I'm gonna
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: tell you what I think it's gonna happen right here
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: in the second hold on. This woman cheated on me,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: broke my heart. I made a big mistake my having
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: sex with her. I'm a great father, so I want
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to do what's right. What the hell does being a
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: great father have to do with any of this, any
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: of it. Tell about we need to get back together
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: for the baby's sake. For the baby's sake, Doc, First
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: of all, you don't know that she's pregnant. Secondly, you
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: don't know if he's your baby. Thirdly, this sounds like
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: a scam to me. So now I'm a great father
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: that I want to do the right thing. I always
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: thought when a man as a wife, he finds a
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: good thing, but not in this case. Your good thing
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: could be your second one or your third one. You
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: don't know what am I supposed to do. Now, please help.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: First of all, call her bluff. Don't tell your fiance.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Say nothing, it never happened. If she bring it up,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: call her a lie. It never happened. We didn't have sex.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. See. Let her
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: go into her home and tell this to the track coach.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: See that's what ce bruck. When a person come to
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: lay something on your dough, step in your house, make
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: sure they got that same information going back to they
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: do step at they house. Let her go tell a
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: track coach hoodn't transferred married her. Let her go in
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: there and tell him out have had sex with my
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: ex husband and it's him. But you know why she
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: hasn't told the track coach any of this because she
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: got to wait and see on you see what your
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: move gonna be. See all this is predicated on your reaction.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: If you say, yeah, let's get our family back together,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: then she gonna go in there with track coach and
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: tell him she cheated on it. But she playing a
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: dangerous game. Don't do this dog. Tell her having sexual
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: you was the biggest mistake. I don't believe it's my baby.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I'm going on with my life and you should do
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: the same with yours. Tell track coach, I say what's happening,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: And if he come up in my face, he's getting
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: that ask hip and he should have gotten the first place.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: And as far as me and you go, that ain't
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: about nothing. Thanks for the hot shot in the closet,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: but it's over the hot shot, that little hot shot
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: we had in the closet. Appreciate you, but that's that
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: was a mistake. And my other mistake was thinking you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: was the wife of my dreams. Now you take all
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: this trickery and laid it on the door step of
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the track coach, and I'm telling you right now, I'm
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: not marrying you. I'm moving on with my life. Well,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell your fiance we had sex, No, we didn't.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Her word against this ain't no baby and dog and
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: when you had a baby? Now, paternity test and it
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: may prove that it is the contract, coaches, and if
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: it proved that is yours, then would deal with it then.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: But you don't need huns, No wife, she waded too
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: tricky man. And y'all always talking about men, wants a cheetah,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: always a cheatah? Who is this chick? All right? Since
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: y'all talk about men, always a cheetah, wants a cheatah?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: What about this trick? Thank you? And the church then
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: got quiet? Oh. Poster comments on today's Strubberry and Steve

- 1:07:35Speaker 1: was an NBA playoff weekend, and let's give a shout
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: out to Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns because they
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: didn't swept the Differ Nuggets. That series is over. Sunday
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: the Bucks was over the Nets one oh seven to
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: ninety six Greek Freak with thirty four points twelve rebounds.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: That series is now tied at two to two. Man. Yes, sir,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: they came back, yes sir, Yeah, it wasn't scared for
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the Nets. Kyrie Irvin rolled his ankle in the third quarter.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: But the good news is X rays came back negative.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Now all of a sudden hardness coming back, well, he
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: got to because yeah, he got string hard to come
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: back from. Man, Saturday, Durant is not enough with the
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Nets to be the Bucks. They gotta have two of
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: them players back. They gotta have Hardened and Durant or
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Durant and Kyrie. And if Kyrie rolled, did he when
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: he returned? Did he? He didn't come back. No, he
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: didn't come back in the game. He didn't come back.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: But the X rays was negative. That's all we know.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: That boy's a basketball player for real, man, he is
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: best ball handler in the NBA. But hands down. Saturday night, though,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: the Clippers beat the Jazz one thirty two to one
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: oh six. Lenard finished with thirty koalater fish for thirty
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: four points, up twelve rebounds. Paul George Lady and Gentlemanan
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: has made his arrival into the playoffs of this series.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: He finished with thirty one. The Jazz lead the series
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: two to one, and then Friday night, the seventy sixers
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: beat the Hawks one twenty seven to one eleven. They
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: now lead the series to the one. So up, who
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: who is you? The Jazz lead the series to the one. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: but you know Clippers they men. Now the Clippers got
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: tired of them talking about Kawhi and George, Paul George,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Paul bad boy man. Please understand, but but they grown men.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: They're not just gonna lay down. No, no, I think
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Paul George. You know, and this is what you declared,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Paul George and Kawha Leonard. They have to show up
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: every single night. Well, hell yeah, they can't. They have to.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: They the two stars. You can't win with just one star.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: No lebron one in Cleveland, he had Kyrie. Uh. All
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: the wins with Golden State was the brothers Clay and
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: and and and uh Curry Kurr. You gotta have two stars.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You can't win with one. So it could play off basketball.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: All right, Junior, Well, thank you. We'll have more of
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: of the hour. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: sty Show. Well, guys, President Biden met with Queen Elizabeth
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: at Windsor Castle and he said meeting the Queen was
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: like meeting his mother. Okay, President Biden, Yeah, she's like
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: one hundred and ninety three or something least. Yeah, she's
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: been there forever. The President and first Lady Jill Biden
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: had tea with the queen. I'm wondering if anyone on
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: this show knows the queen and people are there at
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Windsor Castle and uh what their take on it is.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Earl oh, Earl of course, Earl Yeah, yeah, the dude
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: of course. Oh my god, no, man, I just wanted
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: to say hello that everyone right now. What is the
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: story you're doing about the uh about the battlers that
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: needs to clarification? How well? Um, you know, the our
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: our president and our first lady, the Bidens went to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: have tea with the queen. Yeah, that's straight that. I
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: was there. I was in the back. Oh you were there,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: of course I was that. Yeah. And and our president
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: looked really cool. He had, you know, his aviator glasses
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: on the very dappa, very gappa. I introduced myself to
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: him exactly, of course. I said hello, President Biden, and
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I'm the only black here that they all said that
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: they're not doing as much for uh inclusiveness as you
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: are on the White House Cabinet that you've put you about.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I'm here representing best I can. He ignored me, act
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: like I wasn't talking. No, I didn't want to rock
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the boat. I'm assumed, Well, the President invited the Queen
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: to the White House, so maybe she'll bring you along. Duke.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: The President invited the queen. Oh my god, if I
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: am I'm making to the White House, I'm gonna go.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: First second I'm gonna do is look up Kamala gonna ask.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna first thing I want to do is give
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: her a warm greeting on behalf of the other black
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: as over here in the bucking Holm Ballace. I want
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: to let hard all that. I get it. I understand.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: What are you talking. She's the first African American woman
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: to occupy that space, and I'm the first African American
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: to be that. Well, I'm not African American. I'm just
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: African African, British African London. That's what you call it,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: is African African American. Man, I don't want to be American.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: You all have your own sets of issues over the out. Yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you better talk yea horrible over the half to be black.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, we have our challenges, mom, challenge
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: what is your country going? Don't they understand that you
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: built that entire nation doesn't matter? Oh my god, they're
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: trying to get rid of the history books. What are
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: white people doing on that? Now, they're losing their mind.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: They keep spray paintings. That isn't anyway. I don't like
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: becoming so political. Let's just say that I enjoyed the
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Biden's visit to the White House, and hopefully they don't
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: come back. Everyone Camela to come. Okay, it's gonna be
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: hard though, because they didn't like Merco. Now, so black
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: women don't do well. Yeah, yeah, black women don't do
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: well in the Palace. Like Duke I heard they played
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: the national anthem, the United States national anthem over there,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: So what that sh sounds just like ours? Really? No,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: damn different? Yeah, oh, God, bless the Queen. I do
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: love the Queen. You know, she's hell Yeah, she's actually
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: a wonderful woman. Yeah. I've never told anyone what I've
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: been here for sixty four years. She's never spoken. Well,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: she's a queen. She has she has people to speak
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: to her, to you for her. What are you drinking.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: I'm drinking tea, but of course spike with something. Oh
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: of course, Now this spike was another tea. Anytime you
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: see something brown in that cup, we just call it tea.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Thank you. Duke marm Today's trending stories of the Steve
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show with twenty minutes after. Right after this,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: you're listening Steve every Morning show. All right, guys, listen
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: up our comedians on the show. Here's our work office
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: quickie question. Okay, is there something you wish you had
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: waited to do until you got older rather than when
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: you were a younger person? Whether when you know, when
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: you were at a younger age. We all know several
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: people who wish they had waited until they were in
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: their thirties to say, get married. Okay, So what's something
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: you guys did when you were younger you wish you
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: had waited until you got a little older? And see,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: let's start with you. You don't want to start, okay,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: come on, you and your Okay, I'll take the first
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: day falling in love. I wish I could have waited
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: for that. My lahart couldn't have it. All right, I
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: have three answers. Go ahead, let's go three married, married,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: and married. You're gonna say that I knew you were
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: better man. All right, Hey, what's something you did while
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: you were young but you wish you had waited until
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: you got older? I probably wished I had waited to
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: start cussing really young age. I was led to several
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: ass who was unnecessarily you could have held out. I
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: should have waited to start cussing lady in life. It
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: like how old jumping in the fold was an early commit.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: All right, well, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up. And I didn't know how to cuss.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: That was my problem right after this. Dang it, you're
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it's time
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: for ask the CLO chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the building, Steve. This one is from Marketa in Norfolk.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Marketa says, my husband and I have a twenty five
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: year old son and he's been staying with my husband's
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: mother to help her. Then she had surgery five months ago.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: My son is ready to move out and get on
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: with his life, but my mother in law pitched a
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: fit and said she can't live alone. My husband's way
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: of solving the problem is to tell his mom she
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: can move in with us so she won't be lonely.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: There is no way I'm living with this manipulative old woman.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: My husband and my son are under her spell. But
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I'm not what should I do? Well? She definitely can't
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: move into your house if you don't want her. The
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: boy wants to go and be on his own. He's
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: twenty five. I mean, is she does she need help
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: or she just don't want to live alone. If she
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: don't want to live alone, we can't have to get
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: you to give you some company down not to see
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: me six at home? Oh you know we can drive
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: you down and let you meet some friends or something
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: that you can't you're not living in hell. And she
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: probably is manipulative, and she has a son and a
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: grandson on a spell. But the boy don't want to
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: be in the spell. The more he wants to move
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: and go live his life. And you can't expect the
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: twenty five year old boy to take care of grandmama now.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: And now her husband wants a volunteer. She can move
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: here with y'all. So y'all wanta be alone, but you
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: ain't gonna be watch TV. Hell, no old people hear everything,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: all right? So what should she do? Set her husband
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: down and explain to her her feelings. She doesn't love
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: deal with anybody, and can they make some mother's angels. Yeah,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: I like that you use the word he mother, Jay,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I don't think you'd be able to do that, all right?
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Moving on, bev and Delaware writes, I'm dating a guy
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I've known most of my life, but I've never thought
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: of him is my type. Until recently. We haven't been intimate,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: but we do a lot of kissing and touching. I
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: notice that he doesn't wear underwear, and it's becoming a
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: problem because it moves all around and it's out of
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: control most of the time. This is a turn off
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: for me and a possible deal breaker. How can I
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: be honest and tell him he needs underwear? Or is
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: this normal nowadays? Lady? Well, are you for real? Are
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: you for real? A deal breaker is a man don't
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: wear underwear. See, let me tell you something bad. You
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: may not have thought of him that way, but he'd
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: been thinking about you that way. That's why he ain't
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: got no draws on coming up. It is our last
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: break of the day. It is the last break of
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: the day. And this is serious. This is scary. You
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: can buy a lottery ticket in more places than your
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: as can vote in that scary scary? Yeah, all right,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: our last break of the day and then coming up
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour, also, our fearless
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: leader Steve Harvey will have some closing remarks right after this.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: You're listening to show. All right, guys, here we are
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: our last break of the day on this Monday. It's
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: been a good monday. You know what my closing remarks
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: I have it. I've been watching the news and I've
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: just been looking at the conditions that's going on in
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: this world and especially in this country right here. Let's
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: just stay with this country. And I haven't seen it
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: this in your face in my life. I mean, they
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: tried to be for there was a period the eighties
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: and nineties where they tried to in the two thousands
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: where they tried to, you know, hide it a little
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: bit better. They ain't even trying that now. They're not
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: this this racism. They've just come front and center with it,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: just straightforward with it, you know. I mean, it's like
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. They're putting it in your face and
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: they're they're saying, this is what we're going to do,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: and there's nothing you can do about it. And you
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: know what, I've been thinking about this whole thing with
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: these outbursts from these Cairns of the world and these shootings,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: and the way police are not handling this situation, and
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: how we refuse to put laws in place to protect
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the common man, and how this country just refuses to
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: allow all of its citizens to be treated equal. It's
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: just a simple thing, man. Why are there things not
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: in place where everybody could be treated equal? It's simply
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: because of racism. And the vice former vice president releases
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: a statement last week that says system racism is a
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: left wing myth. You know, the biggest problem with racism
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: is we have so many racists in this country who
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: don't want to admit that they're racist because of what
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: it sounds like. And so once you don't identify the problem,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you have no chance of solving it. It's just that simple.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: You're just you're racist, but you don't want to say
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: you're racist, and you don't want to face it, so
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: now you don't have to deal with it. When we
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: don't deal with it, we don't solve it. With all
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: of this in mind, it has become more apparent to
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: me personally that my relationship with God is so valuable
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: to me right now because it allows me to have
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: a peace. It allows me to remain above the fray.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: And what I mean by that is that doesn't mean
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: that I don't have problems or I don't have feelings
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that other people have. But what the piece that I
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: have in his presence is to know that it's gonna
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: all work out for me. See, you know, people can
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: do what they want to do, but it doesn't have
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: to cause you to fall prey to it. I'll give
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you an example. They're starting all of this voter suppression right,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: but it won't work if we vote. See, pure and simple.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I got that they're gonna try to make it hard.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: I got that they're going to make it more difficult,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: but none of that matters if we fight through and vote. Now.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Do we like the fact that we have to fight through. No,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: But we're dealing with the falling world, and we're dealing
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: with some people who think they can make laws and
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: pass bills and stuff that can hold us to a
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: certain place. But Mark Luther King said it back. They
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: had said it best. A man can't ride your back
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: unless you bend over. I refuse to bend over. You're
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: not riding my back ever, I'm not your end word
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: partner I'm not fitting to be that for you. And
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: I'm not fitting to be the dude that falls prey
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: to vote a suppression because you can't stop me from voting.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: You can make it difficult, just like you make it
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: difficult for us to stay on TV. It's okay. It's
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: okay when you make your move, when you cut off
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: your nose to spite your face, and you do these
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: people like you want to do. You think you're doing
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: something slick. Look at your ratings. Look what happened to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: your network. Matter of fact, look what happened to your job. See,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I don't worry about stuff like that. And another thing,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: when people close doors in your face, has it occurred
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: to you that maybe it's because God has another door
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: he wants you to walk to. That's how I live
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: my life. Every door that's been closed in my face.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: If my career is in great shape, I just go
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: up to halt and there's other doors to go into.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: It's other opportunities. God is always working on his children's behalf.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: I'm a child of God. I claim that, so I
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: sit under his wings of protection. I'm not affected. What
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: you want the effect to be on me will never
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: happen will never happen because I have formed a relationship
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: with God. That's imperative. In these days. You don't have
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to worry about what they saying about you, what they
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: blog in about you. What then they sayers say? Do
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you have any idea how many times I've been written off?
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I could care less what they say when I look around.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Every time something happens in my life, God positions me
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: in another way. He'll do the same thing for you.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: But you got to start with formulating his relationship with him.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: You gotta start by being grateful for what you have
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and where you are. You got to acknowledge that He
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: is yours and your and you his. You got to
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: know who you are and whose you are. And once
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: I know who I am and whose I am, and
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: nothing you can do. It's nothing you can do to me.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: You know how many times God has prepared a table
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: in the presence of my enemies in they face. Do
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: you know how many times He didn't pick me up
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: and set me on a solid rock when they sent
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: the wave to wipe me out. That's what God do, man,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: That's what a relationship with God does. Y'all get a
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: relationship with God Man, and stop being affected and moved
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: by what everything somebody say and shaping your face that
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do with you, Because God is
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: greater than all your problems, Yes he is, y'all. Have
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: a great day. We'll see you tomorrow. For all Steve
