- 1:35Speaker 1: traction is now featured line sold to many many Macy's
- 1:39Speaker 1: customers across the world and on Macy's dot com. She
- 1:42Speaker 1: will be just the part I like about this whole interview.
- 1:45Speaker 1: She will be be portraying her mother, gospel legend Caring
- 1:50Speaker 1: Clark Shared and the Clark's Sisters biopic aired on Lifetime
- 1:55Speaker 1: in Please Welcome back to Money Making Commentation Kira Shield,
- 2:03Speaker 1: Thank you, Hi, how are you? Yeah? A lot of
- 2:06Speaker 1: talk about you then if I brought you up, well,
- 2:09Speaker 1: thank you. But let let's talk about that clothing line first,
- 2:12Speaker 1: you know, because we talked about it last year and
- 2:15Speaker 1: it was doing good. What we in any new lines
- 2:18Speaker 1: that you're dropping? Its expanded, Let's talk about that first.
- 2:21Speaker 1: This is a plus list plus size clothing line that's
- 2:24Speaker 1: available on Macy's dot com and in stores. Correct. Uh no,
- 2:29Speaker 1: Actually it's all just online at mabe dot com and
- 2:32Speaker 1: you can type in eleven sixty. Um it's uh, the
- 2:36Speaker 1: word eleven and then the number six zero. It's inspired
- 2:39Speaker 1: by my mother, it's her birthday, and um, it is
- 2:42Speaker 1: a line for curvy women. Uh, and we're just working
- 2:45Speaker 1: to provide them with quality garments and styles that are
- 2:48Speaker 1: fashioned forward, uh, just allowing them to pop and stand out.
- 2:52Speaker 1: But we really designed with the curby woman in mind. Um,
- 2:56Speaker 1: whether it's the part that we try to you know,
- 2:59Speaker 1: kind of camel lidge, not necessarily high, but sometimes we've
- 3:02Speaker 1: got a lot of juice and we want to be
- 3:05Speaker 1: careful how we give the juice. So that's what we're doing.
- 3:08Speaker 1: We're just designing for curvy women. And it's on it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: available at Macy's dot com as well as my eleven
- 3:15Speaker 1: sixty dot com and it's doing really well and I'm
- 3:17Speaker 1: hoping to expand it a lot more in the future.
- 3:20Speaker 1: How do you market How do you market? I know
- 3:22Speaker 1: you're doing it on this show. Do you just market
- 3:24Speaker 1: on your social media? Do you model your clothes or
- 3:26Speaker 1: your social media? How do you get the word out
- 3:28Speaker 1: about the clothe line? You know? So I definitely have
- 3:31Speaker 1: been using my UM social media. We're definitely kind of
- 3:36Speaker 1: working now on adding public relations or pr UM to
- 3:40Speaker 1: the marketing strategy that we do, but we basically seek
- 3:43Speaker 1: those opportunities. We look at our customers. Now we're studying
- 3:46Speaker 1: the occupations of our customers to not just go to
- 3:49Speaker 1: like plus size events or UM where the plus size
- 3:53Speaker 1: community is. We're trying to now go to where that
- 3:55Speaker 1: woman is directly to do direct marketing, whether it is
- 3:59Speaker 1: going to UM you know, expos that maybe their jobs
- 4:03Speaker 1: are putting on and considering that there are other women
- 4:06Speaker 1: that may be in their fields that are working there.
- 4:09Speaker 1: We're also doing the whole saturating the plus size market,
- 4:13Speaker 1: so finding those areas of like UM body positivity and
- 4:17Speaker 1: going to events like Curbie con or Essence fast UM
- 4:22Speaker 1: and not just like I said, not just trying to
- 4:24Speaker 1: go to the plus size UM events, but trying to
- 4:27Speaker 1: just find where the customer is so that we can
- 4:30Speaker 1: grow the customer base as well as create some sort
- 4:34Speaker 1: of customer retention. Just constantly saying that we're doing something
- 4:37Speaker 1: new and fresh and um, like we did say, digital
- 4:41Speaker 1: influencers on social media, that's a big thing. So you
- 4:44Speaker 1: have YouTubers now and you have people who are posting
- 4:46Speaker 1: on social media, so we use them as well. Um.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Sometimes that can be a bit um expensive, but these
- 4:54Speaker 1: are the sacrifices that we have to make. Obviously, and
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm sure a lot of us know that that we're
- 4:58Speaker 1: listening because are here to make money, but there are
- 5:02Speaker 1: parts of investments that or a sacrifice that we have
- 5:05Speaker 1: to make and it has a lot to do with
- 5:06Speaker 1: the investment. So that's how we're marketing digital influencers, UM,
- 5:10Speaker 1: going to the different events, even the e marketing as
- 5:13Speaker 1: far as like the blasts and stuff, trying to live
- 5:15Speaker 1: in their emails but not getting on their nerves. Just
- 5:18Speaker 1: to stay in their face. Um as the old folks
- 5:21Speaker 1: used to say, out of stop, out of sight, out
- 5:23Speaker 1: of mind, and we try to just keep it in
- 5:25Speaker 1: their face and showing different ways of how it can
- 5:28Speaker 1: be styled. And that's pretty much how we're doing, we're
- 5:30Speaker 1: really trying to get back to into the Facebook way
- 5:33Speaker 1: of marketing asself and UM, that's pretty much it. Now. Well,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna that you had a lot to say, and
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm telling I'm excited because I knows that you engage
- 5:45Speaker 1: in your brand. Because if you you laid out a
- 5:48Speaker 1: plan of how you now, what I didn't hear was
- 5:50Speaker 1: how are you posting any like six excepton uh clips
- 5:55Speaker 1: of you mob styling in your clothes on your Instagram account?
- 5:59Speaker 1: What you doing? Because I know that you've been engaged
- 6:02Speaker 1: personally into your brand will definitely make it skyrock skyrocket
- 6:06Speaker 1: even more. Yes, definitely, So actually I am doing that.
- 6:10Speaker 1: But what I have learned is that my demographic, as
- 6:13Speaker 1: far as my listeners and fan base, UM, A lot
- 6:16Speaker 1: of them, I wouldn't say, maybe half of them, um,
- 6:20Speaker 1: are easier to purchase the price points that eleven sixty
- 6:24Speaker 1: has to offer because right now we're being manufactured out
- 6:27Speaker 1: of career, so the labor costs are hired. So some
- 6:30Speaker 1: to some people in my music stand base, they're saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: that those prices are higher. I have to go to
- 6:35Speaker 1: the working woman. Um. And while I am always wearing
- 6:39Speaker 1: eleven sixty and often wearing it at different events or
- 6:42Speaker 1: when I'm doing my performances or making appearances. It's who
- 6:45Speaker 1: am I in front of, So really trying to just
- 6:47Speaker 1: be smart. UM. When I am marketing and being the
- 6:50Speaker 1: face of the brand UM, which I do, I wear
- 6:53Speaker 1: a lot of it. And UM, I too try to
- 6:56Speaker 1: not seem like it's just all eleven sixty. Obviously, Y,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm a woman, so I'm a consumer of many things,
- 7:02Speaker 1: so I try to make it as a organic as
- 7:04Speaker 1: possible as well. But my demographic is younger, so they're
- 7:08Speaker 1: more some of them are more into the Forever twenty
- 7:11Speaker 1: one prices or the H and M prices where eleven
- 7:14Speaker 1: sixty is now the Northstrom price and sometimes even Lazara price.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But it's it's not a culture price, but it's like
- 7:21Speaker 1: the happy medium of culture and contemporary UM. And again,
- 7:26Speaker 1: you literally are paying as a curvy woman for something
- 7:29Speaker 1: that is comfortable as well as you don't have to
- 7:32Speaker 1: over accessorize, and you're also able to just wear and
- 7:36Speaker 1: put on your clothes and not for like I have to,
- 7:39Speaker 1: you know, add this to it, but I can be comfortable.
- 7:41Speaker 1: This covers this part of my body. UM. And It's not,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you know, to shame your body or anything like that,
- 7:47Speaker 1: but as curvy women, there are some parts of ourselves
- 7:49Speaker 1: and were like, I want to keep that from my husband,
- 7:52Speaker 1: you know, so that kind of thing, but we do. Um,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I do wear a lot of the clothes, but I
- 7:56Speaker 1: have to be considered of my demographic. So just trying
- 7:59Speaker 1: to be very mighty strategic in it all. Well, I'm
- 8:02Speaker 1: telling you something. You are an entrepreneur now, I'm days
- 8:06Speaker 1: you are. Now let me ask you this. Your engagement
- 8:09Speaker 1: have you because that's saying you aren't involved as much
- 8:12Speaker 1: in the past, but you seem to be really focused
- 8:15Speaker 1: in developing your brand and very hands on and in
- 8:18Speaker 1: the marketing and and who is supposed to be appealing
- 8:21Speaker 1: to It. Was that a shift or you've always uh,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you just decided to just step up or not and
- 8:28Speaker 1: in building your brain personally. I'm sorry, time you broke
- 8:33Speaker 1: up a bit. Okay, cool. You know what I'm saying
- 8:34Speaker 1: is that I've noticed that in this conversation we have
- 8:36Speaker 1: in today, you're very very detailed and very very aware
- 8:41Speaker 1: of your brand and who you're talking to. And the
- 8:44Speaker 1: interview previously about this it wasn't as detail. It is
- 8:48Speaker 1: now are you Have you made a conscious effort to
- 8:50Speaker 1: just say, hey, I'm involved is by product, I'm gonna
- 8:52Speaker 1: have control of it absolutely, m I'm I'm really try
- 8:58Speaker 1: not to take on things just for the sake of money.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I really try to be you know, thoughtful and mindful
- 9:05Speaker 1: in it so that I don't get lost in the
- 9:06Speaker 1: sauce and I'm only doing things for the money, but
- 9:08Speaker 1: I have a passion and a purpose in it. And um,
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm a Kurby woman, so I know what I look
- 9:13Speaker 1: for as a consumer. And I was always the same
- 9:16Speaker 1: thing with singing. I was a listener before I was
- 9:19Speaker 1: an artist, and as well as with the clothing line,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I was a consumer before I was a designer. And
- 9:24Speaker 1: so I try to keep in mind to make sure
- 9:27Speaker 1: you have your heart or a passion at the center
- 9:29Speaker 1: of whatever I do, so that I don't get you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: just driven by the dollar. And I think that that
- 9:34Speaker 1: makes it all the difference, which is how some of
- 9:36Speaker 1: us get caught up into working jobs that we don't
- 9:38Speaker 1: really want to work and when it's time for us
- 9:41Speaker 1: to give a certain kind of service, were unsuccessful at
- 9:44Speaker 1: that or we're not giving our best in that that
- 9:47Speaker 1: work of service. So you know, we just kind of
- 9:50Speaker 1: failed there, and so I am very involved to answer
- 9:52Speaker 1: your questions, to respond to what you're saying. I try
- 9:55Speaker 1: to be very involved. I try to have my hands
- 9:57Speaker 1: on UM. I am teachable though I like to learn
- 10:00Speaker 1: earned and I don't like to think that I have
- 10:01Speaker 1: all the answers. So I'm trying to build my team
- 10:05Speaker 1: UM to to you know, compliment the company overall, but
- 10:09Speaker 1: at the same time to also be different and to
- 10:12Speaker 1: give what I've been looking for as a consumer. So yes,
- 10:16Speaker 1: the answers have changed, and yes I am very handling.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You are very handling. I love it. I love it.
- 10:22Speaker 1: We're gonna come right back with more care shared. Uh
- 10:25Speaker 1: she's talking about her love right now. Eleven sixty. We're
- 10:28Speaker 1: gonna come back and talk about the new movie or lifetime.
- 10:30Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about the Twin the nine, team McDonald,
- 10:32Speaker 1: Inspiration Celebration, Inspiration Celebration, Gospel Tour, and uh a lot
- 10:39Speaker 1: more things because you know a girl could talk. Now,
- 10:41Speaker 1: she's talking up a storm and I'm listening because I
- 10:43Speaker 1: got listeners who want to hear, and she's hitting the
- 10:45Speaker 1: market share that I want to be heard. More money
- 10:49Speaker 1: making conversations. This is awesome. Hi, this with Sean McDonald.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You're listening to money making conversation on the phone. Is
- 10:59Speaker 1: a good friend of mine is back on the show.
- 11:01Speaker 1: With the first break, we talked a lot about her
- 11:03Speaker 1: clothing line, which is for curvy women eleven sixty and
- 11:08Speaker 1: this this break, we want to talk more about, uh,
- 11:11Speaker 1: the tour that you're on, the singing that basically is
- 11:14Speaker 1: the reason we are we we are able to have
- 11:16Speaker 1: a social media following, the reason we all have a
- 11:19Speaker 1: develop a brand and become an entrepreneurship is because you're
- 11:22Speaker 1: singing tell us about You're part of the twenty eight
- 11:25Speaker 1: teen McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel tour. UM. This is your
- 11:30Speaker 1: first time doing that tour here no UM. I did
- 11:33Speaker 1: a year ago UM and they've revamped it a few times,
- 11:37Speaker 1: but I didn't when I get my first solo record.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But I'm really excited to be a part of it.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's been a blast. The first opening night was in
- 11:45Speaker 1: Chicago and I was completely blown away at how the
- 11:49Speaker 1: people had come out. So it's been a lot of fun.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And when you do tools like that, are you able
- 11:53Speaker 1: to like, uh, you know, be able to take your
- 11:56Speaker 1: Curby fashion line out there just to model it or
- 11:59Speaker 1: or just clear about the music and not any entrepreneurship. No,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I um, I take it out there with me. I
- 12:06Speaker 1: usually try and take everything that I'm doing here as
- 12:09Speaker 1: a brand. Um, everything is out there with me, and
- 12:12Speaker 1: we do it at our table when I do like
- 12:14Speaker 1: to meet and greed or when we do merchandise. So
- 12:17Speaker 1: you just you just just a many many marketing machine
- 12:21Speaker 1: out there. You're selling stuff, You're working on your brand.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And how what is your team like nowadays? When you
- 12:27Speaker 1: when you own the road, Well, it depends on what
- 12:31Speaker 1: the budget allows obviously, because sometimes I'll have like a
- 12:35Speaker 1: small track date or something, or I'll have a major
- 12:38Speaker 1: track date and usually we just have like volunteers to
- 12:41Speaker 1: assist and I'll travel with an assistant or a road manager.
- 12:45Speaker 1: But the team is more so in house and they
- 12:47Speaker 1: are basically managing the day to day operations um in
- 12:52Speaker 1: the office and sometimes little chap to travel with like
- 12:54Speaker 1: five of us. But I try not to go in
- 12:57Speaker 1: really major unless we're doing like a tour, then that's
- 12:59Speaker 1: that's complete. Were different, so that our depends awesome. Now
- 13:03Speaker 1: what do you say volunteers? Do you do you get
- 13:05Speaker 1: your volunteers through your social media or through your church contacts.
- 13:09Speaker 1: How do you are how from your fan club? How
- 13:11Speaker 1: do the volunteers work for you at your various stops
- 13:15Speaker 1: along the way. Usually I am booking them through church
- 13:18Speaker 1: contact and mechanic. It depends on you know, how we're
- 13:21Speaker 1: booking it, but usually it's through church contact. Sometimes We're
- 13:25Speaker 1: um doing it through social media and I'm reaching out
- 13:28Speaker 1: to people or I also have a sister mentorship program
- 13:31Speaker 1: and a lot of the sisters are a bit spread out,
- 13:33Speaker 1: so sometimes we'll check on them and say, hey, can
- 13:36Speaker 1: you come to this day and assistance with this. UM.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's almost like our little personal sorority. But that is
- 13:41Speaker 1: another way we kind of seek volunteers as well. Well.
- 13:44Speaker 1: It's two things I want to I'll be I have
- 13:47Speaker 1: to talk about before we leave. I know I don't
- 13:48Speaker 1: play the music on the show, but I definitely supported
- 13:51Speaker 1: my social media. You have a new single coming out
- 13:53Speaker 1: May Tense in partnership with r C a inspiration r
- 13:57Speaker 1: C Inspiration called Don't Judge Me. Tell about that single
- 14:00Speaker 1: and why is it important for us to listen to
- 14:03Speaker 1: this single? UM, It's important to listen to this single
- 14:07Speaker 1: because it's super fun. It's a great song for the summer.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And um, we're in this way now where we're basically
- 14:14Speaker 1: just you know, saying only who you are these free
- 14:17Speaker 1: and figure it out. You know, of course, do things
- 14:19Speaker 1: with the will of the Lord or in alignment with
- 14:21Speaker 1: the will of the Lord, and um, surround yourself with
- 14:24Speaker 1: people that will allow you to have fun. I think
- 14:26Speaker 1: that sometimes we take scriptures out of context and we
- 14:29Speaker 1: just throw them at each other, but we're not really
- 14:32Speaker 1: allowing people to do some soul searching and get answers
- 14:35Speaker 1: from and you know, from their walk with the Lord
- 14:38Speaker 1: or with their friends. And sometimes that takes people not
- 14:41Speaker 1: judging them, like not you're not giving your opinion. But
- 14:44Speaker 1: I mean now I will say given truth because it
- 14:46Speaker 1: says the truth will set you free. Um. And then
- 14:48Speaker 1: it also talks about in the multitude of council their safety.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So it's just you know, knowing how to give people
- 14:55Speaker 1: the love. But it's a free song, it's fun, it's vibrant.
- 14:58Speaker 1: And then with all of the you know, sometimes feedback,
- 15:01Speaker 1: it can be negative feedback that we often get when
- 15:03Speaker 1: I post things on social media. People are quick to
- 15:06Speaker 1: judge and it's like well, you don't even know what
- 15:07Speaker 1: my personal life is like, and I don't know what
- 15:09Speaker 1: yours is like. A lot of people hide behind profiles
- 15:12Speaker 1: and start feel like you lose touch um and we
- 15:14Speaker 1: use that to our advantage. And so the song is
- 15:17Speaker 1: basically saying, don't judge me. There are some things that
- 15:19Speaker 1: I do, there are some things that I come from,
- 15:21Speaker 1: some poor decisions that I have made, but don't judge me.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Allow me to be free and to walk forward. That's
- 15:25Speaker 1: why I really love your line, your clothing line. I'm
- 15:27Speaker 1: gonna go back there for me. And because of the
- 15:29Speaker 1: fact that you know, curvy women or plus side women
- 15:33Speaker 1: can be judged. People say they should dress a certain way,
- 15:35Speaker 1: look a certain way that they can't have. They can't
- 15:38Speaker 1: be as they say sexy are are look good? So
- 15:43Speaker 1: so that's that's what basically what you're saying, and don't
- 15:46Speaker 1: judge me. People make decisions on how you should look,
- 15:49Speaker 1: how you should talk, how you should walk, and that's
- 15:51Speaker 1: what the purpose. Are you gonna have a video associated
- 15:53Speaker 1: with the song, Yes, absolutely, and it's super fun and vibrant.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It actually connects with what happened to me. If you
- 16:01Speaker 1: I think it was just went only a year or
- 16:02Speaker 1: two ago with the my weig falling off, and um,
- 16:07Speaker 1: I'm basically just saying, you know, don't judge me, and
- 16:09Speaker 1: so you kind of have that right. Well, it's really fun,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but you will see that. I don't want to give
- 16:14Speaker 1: too much away, but it's a lot of fun. Okay,
- 16:16Speaker 1: now now we made that shift. Now video. Now we
- 16:19Speaker 1: got to go over to this Lifetime movie about the
- 16:23Speaker 1: Clark's sister's biopic were you will be portraying your mother
- 16:29Speaker 1: gospel legend Claire Karen Clark share. Now, tell me about
- 16:35Speaker 1: did your audition for the rule? I absolutely for the role.
- 16:40Speaker 1: M So, what what did you have that the other
- 16:43Speaker 1: actresses didn't have? What insight did you have? Well? I
- 16:47Speaker 1: didn't see what Well obviously had a lot more insight
- 16:50Speaker 1: my mom. She is, uh, the woman who broke me
- 16:54Speaker 1: into this world. I wasn't able to see the auditions
- 16:58Speaker 1: of the other actors, but I will say for me,
- 17:01Speaker 1: it was very special. Um, I was really nervous about
- 17:04Speaker 1: it and I put my best foot forward, and it's
- 17:09Speaker 1: really special to me. Like while it is a great
- 17:11Speaker 1: opportunity and I'm so thankful for it and just blessed
- 17:14Speaker 1: that the Lord would even allow me to have you know, uh,
- 17:17Speaker 1: the opportunity to be on such platform like with Lifetime
- 17:20Speaker 1: and so forth. But to me, it's even special. It's
- 17:23Speaker 1: beyond the world and it's beyond the platform. This is
- 17:26Speaker 1: me delivering from my mom to tell her story again
- 17:29Speaker 1: and so that she can see before her eyes, this
- 17:31Speaker 1: is what you've done, and to really applaud yourself for
- 17:35Speaker 1: what you have experienced and how you maintain your grace
- 17:39Speaker 1: as well as your timelessness, um, as a mother, a wife,
- 17:43Speaker 1: artist and as a public figure. UM. So I'm it's
- 17:46Speaker 1: really sensitive for me. It's it's I hold it dear
- 17:48Speaker 1: to my heart. And UM, I hope that she's brought
- 17:51Speaker 1: to tears with just the delivery and seeing that, Wow,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you know, I'm able to see myself again, um, and
- 17:58Speaker 1: I hope that it's the way of me pay ain't
- 18:00Speaker 1: homage to her. So it's really special for me, and
- 18:03Speaker 1: it was a lot of fun. I can't wait for
- 18:05Speaker 1: you all to see it because hearing their story and
- 18:07Speaker 1: them you know, being open and transparent about what has
- 18:10Speaker 1: happened through the years, as well as just even acknowledging
- 18:14Speaker 1: or noticing their accomplishment by just speaking the name of
- 18:19Speaker 1: Jesus through love music stage. It was just it's just powerful.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So I can't make it for you are to see it? Okay,
- 18:25Speaker 1: where did you so? I'm assuming where you're talking that
- 18:28Speaker 1: you've already shot the project. Yes we have, Okay, what
- 18:32Speaker 1: did Where was this shot at? Um? It was shot
- 18:36Speaker 1: at and I think we were in Canada, right, Okay? Cool? Okay, cool?
- 18:41Speaker 1: And now did you anything surprised you in the movie?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Any information you didn't know about your mom or your
- 18:47Speaker 1: or your aunt. And it was just really engaging where
- 18:50Speaker 1: they only set that you you know, did they Did
- 18:53Speaker 1: you go to them for thoughts, inspiration, character development? I did? Definitely.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I basically stays on. UM. I kept asking my mom questions.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I slept with her in my ears, UM, I listened
- 19:07Speaker 1: to her music. UM. I was listening to the performances
- 19:09Speaker 1: literally like just going to sleep with her, watching videos
- 19:13Speaker 1: that were already in my phone of her, just to
- 19:15Speaker 1: follow and watch her mannerisms and just to study her. UM.
- 19:20Speaker 1: They were on set and they did have some interaction. UM.
- 19:23Speaker 1: And it's a lot more. I don't want to give
- 19:26Speaker 1: too much because I don't think I'm released too, but
- 19:28Speaker 1: I'm giving you a huge precursor of everything. But yes,
- 19:32Speaker 1: it was a very interactive Mond conversation. See, I'm gonna
- 19:37Speaker 1: ask questions that the average person wouldn't know because I'm
- 19:40Speaker 1: a producer. But let me, you said, said she does
- 19:45Speaker 1: a little up you said, it's little habits. What was
- 19:47Speaker 1: one habit that you can tell me that your mom
- 19:50Speaker 1: does or dead that you make sure you included in
- 19:54Speaker 1: the movie. She's very soft spoken, but when she speaks,
- 19:59Speaker 1: it's she comes with power. Um. And so that's not
- 20:03Speaker 1: an easy thing to embrace because I am the opposite
- 20:06Speaker 1: of my mom. I am a little bit more um
- 20:10Speaker 1: bolsterous if that If that makes sense, I don't even
- 20:12Speaker 1: know if that's the worry. But I talked a little
- 20:14Speaker 1: more than my mom. Um, So I had to practice
- 20:17Speaker 1: being quiet, and I love practicing that. And if now
- 20:20Speaker 1: even a like skill that I would like to embrace
- 20:23Speaker 1: a bit more. Um. But I noticed that that she
- 20:26Speaker 1: does that she speaks um. She speaks a little, like
- 20:30Speaker 1: very little. But even when she hits the stage, just
- 20:33Speaker 1: like whoa, you're a completely different person. So I really
- 20:35Speaker 1: tried to portray that. Again, I want to thank for
- 20:39Speaker 1: Kira for coming on the show, great time. As always,
- 20:42Speaker 1: she has a clothing line that you can get on
- 20:44Speaker 1: your Love and sixty. It's on Macy's dot com, Real popular,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and I just love how she's taking control of her brand.
- 20:50Speaker 1: And more importantly, on May tenth, Uh Don't Judge Me,
- 20:53Speaker 1: will being oward in partnership with CAREW Records and r
- 20:56Speaker 1: C A inspiration and she'll be playing her mom in
- 21:00Speaker 1: a new bio pick production is rap shot in Canada
