The bassline comes up slow, then takes over completely. From the drop forward, it runs the track. Virtuoso stuff, disco-rooted, punchy, restless. Soulful vocal chops ride the shuffle. Strings and horn stabs hit in the pocket. The rhythm carries that late-90s UK garage swing, ghost rimshots and all, but the soul of the thing is straight Shibuya.
