- 0:00Speaker 1: Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It is official.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Not only has Biden dropped out of the race, but
- 0:11Speaker 1: in his first letter to the country about him dropping
- 0:14Speaker 1: out of the race, he did not endorse Kamala Harris.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Why.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Maybe he needed leverage to get what he needs to
- 0:25Speaker 1: protect himself and his faith for their corruption with immunity.
- 0:31Speaker 1: This is a shocking moment in presidential history. It is
- 0:36Speaker 1: a shocking moment in political history. It is a shocking
- 0:41Speaker 1: moment for a president to not endorse his vice president
- 0:46Speaker 1: and then have to redo the statement after maybe he
- 0:50Speaker 1: got the deal done that he needed to get done
- 0:52Speaker 1: to then endorse her who is not endorsing Kamala Harris
- 0:57Speaker 1: is also shocking, meaning I think there's a very good
- 1:00Speaker 1: chance this could be a bloodbath of a fight at
- 1:04Speaker 1: the convention the Obamas and Pelosi. Let me say this again,
- 1:10Speaker 1: Obama and Pelosi do not endorse Kamala Harris. This is
- 1:17Speaker 1: twenty twenty four chaos, and it is just the beginning. Now,
- 1:22Speaker 1: if you are a conservative, before you get too excited
- 1:26Speaker 1: about what I just told you, you need to understand
- 1:29Speaker 1: that the lead that Donald Trump has right now over
- 1:31Speaker 1: Joe Biden is meaningless and worthless.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Let me also.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Say this, the lead that he has right now doesn't
- 1:40Speaker 1: matter at all for whoever the next candidate is. Why,
- 1:45Speaker 1: because the media is about to coordinate someone who is
- 1:49Speaker 1: the greatest thing they've ever introduced to America. Now, I've
- 1:53Speaker 1: got a lot more to say about this in a moment,
- 1:55Speaker 1: but I want to tell you about my friends over
- 1:56Speaker 1: at Patriot Mobile. For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been
- 1:59Speaker 1: America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I say only,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I mean it. Patriot Mobile is an incredible company that
- 2:08Speaker 1: takes five percent of your bill every month and they
- 2:11Speaker 1: give it back at no extra cost to you to
- 2:14Speaker 1: conservative causes candidates and organizations that support our first, our
- 2:20Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and
- 2:24Speaker 1: our military, our veterans, and our first responders. Now you
- 2:27Speaker 1: may hear that and say, well, Ben, that's great, we
- 2:29Speaker 1: love that, right, Yay? Why does that matter so much? Well,
- 2:33Speaker 1: if you're with Big Mobile, who you're probably with right now,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you've actually been giving massive donations to Plan parenthood, radical
- 2:41Speaker 1: causes candidates at the local, state, and national level. You
- 2:47Speaker 1: probably didn't even realize that your money was going to
- 2:50Speaker 1: places like Planned Parenthood. But now you know, and the
- 2:53Speaker 1: question is are you going to stand up for what
- 2:54Speaker 1: you believe in and stop giving your money to candidates
- 2:57Speaker 1: and to those organizations that you cannot stand. Well, that's
- 3:02Speaker 1: why I switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile is easy
- 3:05Speaker 1: to switch now. It is easier now than it's ever been.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And when I say easy, I'm not kidding when I
- 3:11Speaker 1: say it is easy. It is incredibly easy to make
- 3:15Speaker 1: the switch right now to Patriot Mobile.
- 3:17Speaker 2: You can do it over the phone.
- 3:20Speaker 1: All you got to do is call them the number
- 3:23Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot call them, use my
- 3:26Speaker 1: name Ben.
- 3:27Speaker 2: You're gonna get free activation. Make the switch.
- 3:30Speaker 1: You keep your same cell phone, same cell phone number,
- 3:32Speaker 1: and every time you make a call, you, every time
- 3:35Speaker 1: you send a text, every time you pay your bill,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you're standing up for what you believe in. Nine seven
- 3:39Speaker 1: to two Patriot get free activation when you use the
- 3:42Speaker 1: offer code Ben or online at patriotmobile dot com slash Ben.
- 3:47Speaker 1: That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash Ben. Now, what you
- 3:50Speaker 1: are witnessing and what you are about to witness is
- 3:54Speaker 1: going to anger many of you that are conservatives, because
- 3:57Speaker 1: the Democratic Party and media are going to give probably
- 4:02Speaker 1: a two billion dollar in kind donation and free advertising
- 4:07Speaker 1: to Kamala Harris or Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom, or
- 4:11Speaker 1: whoever the hell the Democrats end up choosing. They are
- 4:15Speaker 1: going to tell you that they are the greatest thing ever.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I'm going to use this analogy for you so that
- 4:21Speaker 1: you understand how massive perspective can change things, a difference
- 4:27Speaker 1: that it can make. Imagine you're on the greatest cruise
- 4:30Speaker 1: ship in the world, and imagine that cruise ship hits
- 4:34Speaker 1: an iceberg. Imagine that cruise ship is going down, and
- 4:39Speaker 1: you look out and you see these little dinghy in
- 4:42Speaker 1: the water. You see a little fishing boat that looks
- 4:45Speaker 1: like total and utter crap. You see another boat coming
- 4:50Speaker 1: that's a tiny, little, beat up little vessel that has
- 4:53Speaker 1: terrible seating and a small engine. But you know, on
- 4:58Speaker 1: the ship that you're on right now, you're going to
- 5:01Speaker 1: die if you don't get off that ship and think
- 5:05Speaker 1: about how good those other ships look. That is basically
- 5:10Speaker 1: what we're dealing with in the Democratic Party right now.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Joe Biden was the Titanic and it hit an iceberg,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and it was going down, and all these little crappy
- 5:21Speaker 1: boats are coming in, and by golly, if you're on
- 5:25Speaker 1: the Titanic, that is the most beautiful ship you've ever seen.
- 5:28Speaker 1: There will be no scrutiny about those ships. There will
- 5:32Speaker 1: be no scrutiny about the past maintenance of those ships.
- 5:35Speaker 1: There will be no scrutiny over what type of ship
- 5:38Speaker 1: it is or if it even has the licenses papers
- 5:42Speaker 1: needed to.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Be on the ocean.
- 5:45Speaker 1: There will be no scrutiny of any of the people
- 5:48Speaker 1: that are piloting these little dinghies or vessels or crappy boats.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Because whoever ends up getting the nomination, they are going
- 5:58Speaker 1: to become God to the media and to the Democratic Party.
- 6:04Speaker 2: When your ship is sinking.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Let me talk about the money that's about to flow
- 6:09Speaker 1: in to whoever it is that gets this nomination.
- 6:14Speaker 2: When you're on a Titanic.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And you're rich and you're like, well, I'm not giving
- 6:18Speaker 1: you any more of my money because this ship is sinking. Right,
- 6:21Speaker 1: very much like the Biden campaign, another ship comes to
- 6:25Speaker 1: save the day and you're willing to pay whatever it
- 6:28Speaker 1: takes to get off of that sinking ship. That is
- 6:32Speaker 1: exactly what is going to happen with whoever gets the nomination.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It is going to be a coronation whoever the Democratic
- 6:41Speaker 1: Party picks, and I think the front runner is at
- 6:45Speaker 1: this moment, Kamala Harris. She is Princess Diana to the
- 6:48Speaker 1: Democratic Party. She is a hero and a savior. Because
- 6:53Speaker 1: perspective is everything. Perspective is everything. It's basically like an
- 7:03Speaker 1: abusive relationship, You're willing to put up with a lot
- 7:06Speaker 1: more as long as the person isn't trying to kill you.
- 7:10Speaker 1: If you've ever been in that situation, right, it's better
- 7:13Speaker 1: than the alternative. Joe Biden was worst case scenario for
- 7:18Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. And now Joe Biden has officially decided
- 7:23Speaker 1: that he is going to step aside. Now I didn't
- 7:26Speaker 1: say resigned from the White House, which is a question
- 7:29Speaker 1: we should all be asking, and.
- 7:30Speaker 2: We're going to deal with that coming up in a moment.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I'm also going to be joined by a dear friend
- 7:35Speaker 1: of mine, United States Centater Ted Cruz is going to
- 7:39Speaker 1: join us in a moment to chat about all of this.
- 7:42Speaker 1: But before we even get to that, I want you
- 7:45Speaker 1: to hear how ABC News announced it to their audience
- 7:49Speaker 1: that Joe Biden is stepping aside.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Good afternoon, I'm Rachel Scott at ABC headquarters here in
- 7:55Speaker 3: New York. We are coming on the air at this
- 7:57Speaker 3: hour with breaking news. President Biden has just announced that
- 8:00Speaker 3: he is ending his reelection bid. Just moments ago, the
- 8:03Speaker 3: President tweeted out, it has been the greatest honor of
- 8:06Speaker 3: my life to serve as your president.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Well, it has been my intention.
- 8:09Speaker 3: To seek reelection. I believe it is in the best
- 8:12Speaker 3: interest of my party and the country for me to
- 8:14Speaker 3: stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties
- 8:18Speaker 3: as president for the remainder of my term. I will
- 8:20Speaker 3: speak to the nation later this week in more detail
- 8:23Speaker 3: about my decision. There are still so many questions yet
- 8:26Speaker 3: to be decided, and so little time before those questions
- 8:29Speaker 3: need to be figured out. So I want to go
- 8:31Speaker 3: right away to our chief Washington correspondent, John Carl John.
- 8:35Speaker 3: We are just one hundred days out from the November election.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Pressure was building on the President to step aside. Now
- 8:41Speaker 3: he is announcing that.
- 8:42Speaker 2: He has Rachel.
- 8:45Speaker 4: It's an extraordinary moment in American history. This is the
- 8:48Speaker 4: first time we have seen a sitting president bow out
- 8:53Speaker 4: of re election since Lyndon Van Johnson in nineteen sixty eight,
- 8:58Speaker 4: and it comes Unlike Johnson's move, which happened in January
- 9:02Speaker 4: of that year, it comes after he has already gone
- 9:05Speaker 4: through a primary process, after he has already effectively won
- 9:09Speaker 4: the Democratic nomination, which now raises the huge questions, as
- 9:13Speaker 4: you allude to, of what happens next. In his letter
- 9:17Speaker 4: announcing this extraordinary decision, he mentions his vice President Kamala Harris.
- 9:24Speaker 4: He says, I want to thank my Vice President Kamala
- 9:26Speaker 4: Harris for her extraordin for being an extraordinary partner. But
- 9:30Speaker 4: he makes no reference about what he will do in
- 9:34Speaker 4: terms of an endorsement. Will he endorse, will he not endorse,
- 9:37Speaker 4: will there be an open process, what happens next? He
- 9:41Speaker 4: says he will talk to the nation in the coming
- 9:43Speaker 4: days more about his decision. But now the Democrats have
- 9:47Speaker 4: to figure out what happens. Who replaces Joe Biden as
- 9:51Speaker 4: the Democratic candidates the president.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You listen to how they talk about this, and they
- 9:58Speaker 1: are not only elated, but they are estatic for the future.
- 10:06Speaker 1: And they don't even care who the future is. They
- 10:09Speaker 1: don't know who it's going to be. I don't know
- 10:13Speaker 1: if it's going to be Kamala's. She's the front runner
- 10:15Speaker 1: that doesn't mean it's gonna happen, but it's going.
- 10:17Speaker 2: To be an all out war.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Now, let's talk for just a second about Kamala Harris.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is now the greatest thing the Democratic Party's
- 10:28Speaker 1: ever seen, even though she's a woman that dropped out
- 10:30Speaker 1: of the presidents of race and everyone hated her and
- 10:32Speaker 1: she was pulling it like three percent. But when your
- 10:35Speaker 1: ship is sinking, to use that analogy again, you'll jump
- 10:39Speaker 1: on any lifeboat, any rubber dinghy, It doesn't matter what
- 10:42Speaker 1: it is, because that is your savior in that moment.
- 10:45Speaker 1: This is the best case scenario for Kamala Harris. Let
- 10:49Speaker 1: me also tell Kamala Harris was not like by the
- 10:51Speaker 1: Democratic Party either and the Democratic elite. But right now
- 10:55Speaker 1: she is the little lifeboat that showed up. It may
- 10:58Speaker 1: be ugly, it may have a bad rock record of
- 11:00Speaker 1: the engine going out, but you're still gonna get on
- 11:03Speaker 1: it because it looks like a life boat that's going
- 11:06Speaker 1: to save your life. The other problem is the media
- 11:09Speaker 1: is going to give an inkind donation of what is
- 11:13Speaker 1: the equivalent of billions of dollars in ad buys. Okay,
- 11:19Speaker 1: billions of dollars in AD bys to whoever gets the nomination,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and they're gonna tell you that it is an amazing
- 11:29Speaker 1: candidate whoever the Democrats pick, And for the next thirty days,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you also have to understand about the disadvantage of Trump
- 11:34Speaker 1: campaign has Trump and Trump and Jdie Vance?
- 11:39Speaker 2: How do you campaign like? Who do you campaign against?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Do you spend your time campaigning against you know, Michelle Obama?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Do you spend your time campaigning against Gavin Newsom? Do
- 11:50Speaker 1: you spend your time campaigning against Kamala Harris?
- 11:54Speaker 2: Or do you spend your.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Time campaigning against the Democratic Party and Joe Biden's record
- 11:59Speaker 1: in general? Now, do I think that if it is
- 12:02Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, there's ways that we can beat her and
- 12:04Speaker 1: Trump can win. Yes, But I don't want you to
- 12:06Speaker 1: be over confident tonight because coming out of Milwaukee, guess what,
- 12:12Speaker 1: no one's talking about that now, are they? The timing
- 12:14Speaker 1: of this to announce this on Sunday, the day after
- 12:17Speaker 1: the convention and suck out all the oxygen out of
- 12:20Speaker 1: the room was a brilliant political move by the Democratic Party.
- 12:26Speaker 1: The polls don't matter. That bump you normally get out
- 12:29Speaker 1: of a convention doesn't matter. Hell, Donald Trump and the
- 12:32Speaker 1: assassination attempt has now old news a week after it happened.
- 12:38Speaker 1: That's how big and catastrophic this news story is. And
- 12:44Speaker 1: the Democrats are going to ride this way for thirty days.
- 12:47Speaker 1: This convention the Democrat's going to have is a thirty
- 12:49Speaker 1: day convention. Now every day it's going to be this story. Now,
- 12:54Speaker 1: let me also remind you of this. Kama Harris is human.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Kama Harris. Maybe she gets the nomination. Okay, maybe it's
- 13:00Speaker 1: really hers. Maybe she gets it and she's able to
- 13:04Speaker 1: be the easy choice that people call us behind. Let's
- 13:07Speaker 1: start with that idea. Can we beat a Kamala Harris?
- 13:13Speaker 1: I believe we can. Why because she said a lot
- 13:15Speaker 1: of really stupid things in the past. Remember, Kamala Harris
- 13:19Speaker 1: is not that much better than Joe Biden.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Listen, is today and yesterday was today, yesterday, Tomorrow will
- 13:29Speaker 5: be today tomorrow. So live today, so the future today
- 13:36Speaker 5: will be as the past today as it is tomorrow today.
- 13:45Speaker 1: That's Kamala Harris, folks, that is the Kamala Harris that
- 13:48Speaker 1: we will be running against. That is Kamala Harris giving
- 13:52Speaker 1: an actual speech that is not a joke. If you're
- 13:56Speaker 1: laughing right now. You should be laughing because that's the
- 13:59Speaker 1: vice president I to America. That's how bad of a
- 14:01Speaker 1: candidate she is when we go after her one on one.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I'm going to play that again and I want you
- 14:07Speaker 1: to try to follow along with Kamala Harris. This is
- 14:10Speaker 1: Kamala Harris at a public speech.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Today was today, yesterday, Tomorrow will be today tomorrow. So
- 14:20Speaker 5: live today, so the future today will be as the
- 14:24Speaker 5: past today as it is tomorrow.
- 14:30Speaker 2: That's Kamala Harris.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I'm playing that for you to remind you of exactly
- 14:37Speaker 1: who Kamala Harris actually is. Do I believe we can
- 14:41Speaker 1: beat Kamala Harris?
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yes? I do.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Do I believe that Donald Trump can beat her on
- 14:46Speaker 1: the debate stage, Yes I do.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Do I believe that we can still win this race?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yes, but do not get overconfident because it is a
- 14:53Speaker 1: dead heat right now.
- 14:56Speaker 2: This is a dead heat. It is not going to change.
- 15:00Speaker 2: It is a dead heat.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And there are other, by the way, very smart Democrats
- 15:06Speaker 1: that are looking at this.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Let me give you an example.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And before I give you all the details, I want
- 15:11Speaker 1: to take a moment and I want to ask for
- 15:13Speaker 1: your help. The wor in Israel started on October the seventh.
- 15:17Speaker 1: We have seen death and destruction in the Holy Land
- 15:21Speaker 1: for more than forty years. The International Fellowship of Christians
- 15:24Speaker 1: and Jews has been on the ground in Israel and
- 15:27Speaker 1: within hours of the war starting, and every day since,
- 15:30Speaker 1: they've been feeding the hungry and protecting the vulnerable. You
- 15:33Speaker 1: may not realize, but Israel is literally under attack now
- 15:37Speaker 1: on a daily basis, with rockets coming in. Those that
- 15:41Speaker 1: are surrounding Israel are doing everything they can to take
- 15:45Speaker 1: them out. The attacks continue in the North and the South,
- 15:49Speaker 1: but there are resilient survivors who bravely share their stories
- 15:53Speaker 1: in a series the Fellowship calls Faces of Iron. Survivors
- 15:58Speaker 1: like Danny, beloved daughter and her husband were burned alive
- 16:03Speaker 1: on October the seventh by Hamas Terras. Danny is a
- 16:06Speaker 1: commander of the volunteer fire and rescue group in his community.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Despite fire equipment nearby, Danny could do nothing as his
- 16:14Speaker 1: daughter's house burned and his daughter and her husband lost
- 16:18Speaker 1: their lives. Christians like you support Israel through the International
- 16:22Speaker 1: Fellowship of Christians and Jews. It's his support that helps
- 16:25Speaker 1: these survivors remain steadfast and strong to hear more stories
- 16:30Speaker 1: like this one and show your support for Israel. Please
- 16:33Speaker 1: stand with me and visit support IFCJ dot org. That's
- 16:38Speaker 1: support IFCJ dot org. Support IFCJ dot org. All right,
- 16:47Speaker 1: Josh Sapiro, remember that name. I'm gonna say it again.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's not Ben Shapiro, It's Josh Shapiro. He's a dad
- 16:53Speaker 1: to four kids, married to his high school sweetheart, and
- 16:56Speaker 1: the governor of Pennsylvania and a moderate, not a ba
- 17:00Speaker 1: AOC extremists.
- 17:04Speaker 2: This is what he tweeted out earlier.
- 17:07Speaker 1: The contrast in this race could not be clear, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: the road to victory in November runs right through Pennsylvania,
- 17:14Speaker 1: where this collective work began. I will do everything I
- 17:17Speaker 1: can to help elect Kamala Harris as the forty seventh
- 17:20Speaker 1: President of the United States of America. The governor then
- 17:24Speaker 1: put out a larger statement, saying, when our founders came
- 17:26Speaker 1: together in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, now let me just
- 17:29Speaker 1: hit pause and go if you want to know what
- 17:31Speaker 1: it sounds like to do a deal, this is what
- 17:33Speaker 1: a guy sounds like that may have just had a
- 17:35Speaker 1: deal with Kamala Harris to be picked as vice president
- 17:37Speaker 1: and not actually challenge her at the convention African American woman.
- 17:42Speaker 1: He's a really smart guy to run with her, a
- 17:44Speaker 1: guy that understands how it works in Washington, how.
- 17:48Speaker 2: To get things done.
- 17:49Speaker 1: A guy that a state you desperately need, because if
- 17:52Speaker 1: you win Pennsylvania, where he's very popular as the governor,
- 17:56Speaker 1: then there's a very good chance you're going to win
- 17:58Speaker 1: the presidential election if you're a Democrat. If you lose Pennsylvania,
- 18:03Speaker 1: the math doesn't make sense, and it would be virtually
- 18:05Speaker 1: impossible to win the presidency if you lose Pennsylvania. So
- 18:10Speaker 1: if you look at this statement from Shapiro, the governor,
- 18:15Speaker 1: he's saying, Hey, I'm going to support who you know,
- 18:18Speaker 1: Kamwa Harris is the forty seventh president at America. It
- 18:20Speaker 1: sounds like there may have already been a deal that's
- 18:22Speaker 1: been done. So let me read you a statement. When
- 18:24Speaker 1: our founders came together in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to
- 18:27Speaker 1: declare our independence and establish our democracy, they did so
- 18:31Speaker 1: with a clear understanding that we will only succeed if
- 18:33Speaker 1: we were united. In the two hundred and forty eight
- 18:37Speaker 1: years since, our country and our people have been tested,
- 18:40Speaker 1: but the American spirit has always triumphed despite our individual differences,
- 18:46Speaker 1: when our safety was threatened, when our values and freedoms
- 18:49Speaker 1: were attacked, when the stakes were high, Americans have found
- 18:53Speaker 1: ways to come together and unite behind common cause and
- 18:57Speaker 1: common purpose. That's the lesson of our founder, who gathered
- 19:00Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania two and a half centuries ago, and it's
- 19:05Speaker 1: the lessons our party must learn for now from now.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I've known Harris for nearly two decades. We've both been prosecutors.
- 19:14Speaker 1: We both stood up for the rule of law. That's
- 19:16Speaker 1: a lie.
- 19:17Speaker 2: We both fought for the people and delivered results. That's
- 19:19Speaker 2: also live.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Come my heris is a patriot worthy of our support,
- 19:23Speaker 1: and she will continue the work of generations of Americans
- 19:28Speaker 1: who came before us to protect our union, protect our democracy,
- 19:31Speaker 1: and advance real freedom. She has served the country honorably
- 19:35Speaker 1: as vice president, and she is ready to be president.
- 19:39Speaker 1: The best path forward for the Democratic Party is to
- 19:41Speaker 1: quickly unite behind Harris and refocus on winning the presidency.
- 19:48Speaker 1: The contrast to this rates could not be clearer, and
- 19:51Speaker 1: the road to victory November runs through Pennsylvania, where the
- 19:55Speaker 1: collective work began.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I will do everything I can to help well.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Let Kamala Harris, the forty seventh President of the United States,
- 20:03Speaker 1: signed Governor Shapiro. If you want to know who I
- 20:06Speaker 1: think the front runner is right now to be the governor,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I should say to be the vice president, it is
- 20:11Speaker 1: Shapiro of Pennsylvania. I think it's very clear deals are
- 20:15Speaker 1: getting done right now. Like you wouldn't believe, Joe Biden
- 20:22Speaker 1: has dropped out of the presidential race. The part that
- 20:26Speaker 1: really makes me laugh is, of course Joe Biden did
- 20:29Speaker 1: this on National ice Cream Day.
- 20:33Speaker 2: You couldn't make it more fitting than that. You do
- 20:36Speaker 2: it on.
- 20:37Speaker 1: National ice Cream Day, Joe Biden, they ask her to
- 20:41Speaker 1: give me an ice cream cone.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Maybe that's how they bribed him to do it. Maybe
- 20:44Speaker 1: that was Kamala's plan all along. Let me also just
- 20:47Speaker 1: remind you of Kamala Harris. Okay, this is a woman
- 20:52Speaker 1: that was the border czar.
- 20:54Speaker 2: She is the.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Presumptive Democratic nominee. So when she goes on TV and
- 21:01Speaker 1: she talks about the border, here's what she says about
- 21:05Speaker 1: the border.
- 21:06Speaker 5: We've been to the border. So this whole, this whole,
- 21:09Speaker 5: this whole thing about the border.
- 21:11Speaker 2: We've been to the border. We've been to the border.
- 21:14Speaker 5: You haven't been to the border, and I haven't been
- 21:16Speaker 5: to Europe. And I mean, don't I don't understand the
- 21:20Speaker 5: point that you're making.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Or we've been to the border. It's amazing, I don't
- 21:24Speaker 2: understand the point you're making.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Lester Holt. This is the woman she was the borders
- 21:29Speaker 1: are and she says, we've been to the border. Quote,
- 21:31Speaker 1: we've been to the border. And then Holt says you
- 21:35Speaker 1: you haven't been to the border. And then she says,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I haven't been to Europe either. What's your point? You
- 21:42Speaker 1: just said you went to the border, ma'am. You just
- 21:46Speaker 1: lied to the American people. You just told the American
- 21:49Speaker 1: people that you had been to the border when you
- 21:52Speaker 1: hadn't and Lester Holt says you haven't been to the border.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Now, this is a woman that.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Believes in open borders. This is a woman that cannot
- 22:02Speaker 1: do her job. This is a woman that is a
- 22:05Speaker 1: failure as much as he is a failure. Let me
- 22:09Speaker 1: also remind you what Vice President Harris had to say
- 22:12Speaker 1: about Ukraine and the foreign policy. So let's say you
- 22:15Speaker 1: just say that was her having a bad day. Okay,
- 22:18Speaker 1: let's go with that for a second.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Ukraine is a country in Europe.
- 22:24Speaker 6: It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is
- 22:28Speaker 6: a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country.
- 22:31Speaker 5: Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
- 22:34Speaker 4: So basically that's wrong.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You, So basically that's wrong. That's Vice President Harris on
- 22:47Speaker 1: her analysis of Hey, let me give you some great
- 22:50Speaker 1: analysis here.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Ukraine is a country in Europe.
- 22:54Speaker 1: It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is
- 22:58Speaker 1: a bigger country. I'm quoting foratim. Russia is a powerful country.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
- 23:06Speaker 2: So basically that's wrong. Well, I am so glad.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I am so glad that she clarified that for all
- 23:13Speaker 1: of us that country in Europe. Let me give you
- 23:16Speaker 1: a flashback, by the way, about border security, Kama Harris
- 23:20Speaker 1: raised her hand in favor of decriminalizing illegal border crossings
- 23:25Speaker 1: when she was on the debate stage.
- 23:27Speaker 7: What was the question we had a very spirited debate
- 23:31Speaker 7: on this stage last night on the topic of decriminalization
- 23:34Speaker 7: of the border. If you'd be so kind, raise your
- 23:36Speaker 7: hand if you think.
- 23:37Speaker 2: It should be a civil offense.
- 23:39Speaker 7: Rather than a crime to cross the border without documentation.
- 23:44Speaker 7: Can we keep the hands up so we could see them.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Kama Harris her hand raised high in the air with
- 23:51Speaker 1: Joe Biden. So if you think that Kamala Harris is,
- 23:55Speaker 1: you know, and they're gonna I'm telling you, they're gonna
- 23:58Speaker 1: try to turn her into a mix between Mother Teresa
- 24:02Speaker 1: and Princess Die. If she gets it, they'll give her
- 24:06Speaker 1: two billion three billion in free advertising. This is going
- 24:12Speaker 1: to be a Hey, the ship you were on was sinking.
- 24:15Speaker 1: It was the Titanic, and I got a dinghy. That sucks,
- 24:18Speaker 1: but at least it's better than what you had before.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That's what this is going to be. I also believe
- 24:25Speaker 1: now that this is also an issue of the Democratic
- 24:31Speaker 1: Party just being so desperate.
- 24:35Speaker 2: You're in the middle of the desert. You need water,
- 24:37Speaker 2: you need food.
- 24:37Speaker 1: You'll take it from anyone, right, You'll take it from
- 24:39Speaker 1: the devil.
- 24:41Speaker 2: And this is their devil.
- 24:46Speaker 1: This is the deal they were willing to make with
- 24:48Speaker 1: the devil to get rid of Joe Biden. Nobody I
- 24:51Speaker 1: will say it again, likes Kamala Harris. She cannot keep
- 24:55Speaker 1: a staff, she cannot keep people in and around her
- 24:59Speaker 1: staff happy. They're quitting on her all the time. She
- 25:03Speaker 1: is a disaster. Her staff knows that she is a disaster.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And Kamala Harris is an individual that slid into this
- 25:18Speaker 1: position for one reason, and one reason only. Joe Biden
- 25:20Speaker 1: had a race problem. You may not remember that Joe
- 25:25Speaker 1: Biden had a major race problem. Joining me now to
- 25:30Speaker 1: talk about all of this is a dear friend of mine.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I co host a podcasts with him, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Senator Ted Cruz joins me now, Senator, we were just
- 25:41Speaker 1: playing some clips of some of Kamala's most brilliant moments
- 25:45Speaker 1: in life. One of them you tweeted out was her
- 25:49Speaker 1: talking about the border and she's like, we've been to
- 25:51Speaker 1: the border.
- 25:51Speaker 2: We've been to the border. No you haven't.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Well I haven't been to Europe either, but you know, haha,
- 25:55Speaker 1: laugh laugh. This is a person, however, that the Democratic
- 25:59Speaker 1: Party going to try to sell is the greatest thing
- 26:02Speaker 1: we've ever seen in a savior.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Your reaction to this news.
- 26:07Speaker 6: Well, the Democrats are gathering around her, at least Joe
- 26:12Speaker 6: Biden is. The Clintons are, and I think she's going
- 26:15Speaker 6: to end up being their nominee. I think the only
- 26:18Speaker 6: person who could possibly push her aside as Michelle Obama,
- 26:21Speaker 6: and at least right now there appears to be no
- 26:25Speaker 6: effort on her part to do that.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Let's talk about how we got to this point.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You predicted on our show, and if you haven't ever
- 26:33Speaker 1: listened to it, download at Verdict with Ted Cruz wherever
- 26:36Speaker 1: you get your podcasts ten months ago that Joe Biden
- 26:40Speaker 1: would not in fact be the nominee at the end
- 26:44Speaker 1: of the day.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You believed it, then.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Why, well, it was clear that his metal capacity had
- 26:52Speaker 6: diminished powerfully. It was clear every day it was getting worse,
- 26:57Speaker 6: and I didn't believe he was going to be able
- 26:59Speaker 6: to go to the distance. I also thought that Democrats
- 27:02Speaker 6: were getting more and more nervous, and the canary and
- 27:06Speaker 6: the coal mine was you started seeing the stakeholders of
- 27:10Speaker 6: the Democrat Party floating attacks on them, and in particular
- 27:13Speaker 6: the corporate media. Look the corporate media today, they are
- 27:16Speaker 6: functionally part of the Democrat Party. They are the left
- 27:19Speaker 6: wing of the Democrat Party. And so when you and
- 27:22Speaker 6: I on the podcast ten months ago laid out we
- 27:25Speaker 6: did the entire podcast where I predicted that Joe Biden
- 27:29Speaker 6: would withdraw from the ballot sometime around the Democrat convention
- 27:35Speaker 6: sometime this summer. We predicted that ten months ago, and
- 27:39Speaker 6: I got to say the reaction when we laid out
- 27:42Speaker 6: that predictions. The corporate media ridiculed you and me as
- 27:46Speaker 6: moon back conspiracy theorists. They said it was, you know,
- 27:49Speaker 6: tinfoil hat type stuff, and it played out exactly as
- 27:54Speaker 6: we predicted. I'll point out we made the prediction again
- 27:58Speaker 6: the night of the presidential debate between Trump and Biden,
- 28:01Speaker 6: and that night you and I did a podcast immediately
- 28:03Speaker 6: when the debate was over. We recorded the podcast and
- 28:07Speaker 6: I said that night, this I believe will go down
- 28:12Speaker 6: in history as the most consequential presidential debate in the
- 28:17Speaker 6: history of our country. Why and what I predicted the
- 28:20Speaker 6: night of the debate is this debate will remove Joe
- 28:23Speaker 6: Biden from the ballot. He will not be on the
- 28:25Speaker 6: ballot in November because his performance was so disastrously bad
- 28:30Speaker 6: that the Democrats and the corporate media, which is as
- 28:34Speaker 6: I said, completely interwoe it into the Democrat party were
- 28:38Speaker 6: freaking out. And that night I predicted within three weeks
- 28:43Speaker 6: they would drive Joe Biden off the ballot. Well, today
- 28:46Speaker 6: they've done.
- 28:46Speaker 1: So let's talk about how this unfolded, and it was
- 28:50Speaker 1: pretty surreal. You first had this letter come out from
- 28:54Speaker 1: Joe Biden saying, hey, I'm gonna drop out of this
- 28:58Speaker 1: presential race and did not if you read that letter
- 29:02Speaker 1: endorse Kamala Harris correct. Then you had a statement come
- 29:07Speaker 1: out later on social media that he was endorsing Kamala Harris.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Why the delay there and was it because he needed
- 29:15Speaker 1: more guarantees before he would endorse.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Well, look, as you know, you and I did an
- 29:19Speaker 6: entire emergency podcast today that is just out that does
- 29:23Speaker 6: a deep dive into this question. And so if you
- 29:25Speaker 6: want to go deep into this download Verdict with Ted Cruz,
- 29:29Speaker 6: you can. You can get it right now and get
- 29:31Speaker 6: those questions answered at real death. But listen, there was
- 29:35Speaker 6: a fairly short window. His first statement, he thanked Kamala Harris,
- 29:40Speaker 6: but he didn't endorse her. And what I believe happened
- 29:43Speaker 6: is that the powers that be in the Democrat Party
- 29:46Speaker 6: put enormous pressure on him, pounded the living daylights out
- 29:49Speaker 6: of him, and he quickly put out a tweet saying
- 29:51Speaker 6: I endorse her. I think it listened. The Democrat Party
- 29:55Speaker 6: is a command and control party. They follow orders, and
- 29:59Speaker 6: so what we saw happening and it began with the debate.
- 30:04Speaker 6: We saw one after another after another major player in
- 30:07Speaker 6: the Democrat Party come out against Joe Biden.
- 30:10Speaker 2: So we saw.
- 30:13Speaker 6: We saw Nancy Pelosi, we saw Chuck Schumer, we saw
- 30:16Speaker 6: Hakeem Jeffries, we saw senator after senator. We saw lots
- 30:21Speaker 6: of Republican congressman or Democrat congressman rather coming out against
- 30:26Speaker 6: Joe Biden. And understand, not a one of them did
- 30:29Speaker 6: it because they're worried that we should not have someone
- 30:32Speaker 6: who has dementia as the commander in chief. Not a
- 30:35Speaker 6: one of them was worried about someone who's senile and
- 30:38Speaker 6: can't tie his shoes having a finger on the nuclear button.
- 30:41Speaker 6: They were all okay with that. The reason they freaked
- 30:44Speaker 6: out is simple. The American people watched that debate and said,
- 30:48Speaker 6: holy cow, this guy is is not there.
- 30:51Speaker 2: He's gone.
- 30:51Speaker 6: And listen, any one of us who's had an elderly parent,
- 30:55Speaker 6: your grandparent, a relative, You've seen what the end of
- 31:00Speaker 6: life can be, and it can be sad, and Joe
- 31:03Speaker 6: Biden is well in the midst of it. And after
- 31:05Speaker 6: that debate, nobody could argue to the contrary. And so
- 31:10Speaker 6: the reason all the Democrats jump ship is they were
- 31:12Speaker 6: afraid they're going to lose.
- 31:15Speaker 1: How the hell do you run against somebody you don't
- 31:17Speaker 1: know who is going to be the nominee between now
- 31:21Speaker 1: and the convention, because you can't run against Joe Biden anymore?
- 31:25Speaker 2: How do you do it? What do you do?
- 31:26Speaker 1: Do you run against Kama twenty percent of the time, you
- 31:28Speaker 1: run against News some ten percent time, you run against
- 31:31Speaker 1: Shapiro another five percent? What in the hell does the
- 31:34Speaker 1: Trump campaign do for the next thirty days.
- 31:37Speaker 6: Well, let me first underscore just how historic this moment is.
- 31:41Speaker 6: This has never happened in the history of our country.
- 31:44Speaker 6: We have never had one of the two major party
- 31:47Speaker 6: nominees drop out anywhere close to this close to the election.
- 31:51Speaker 6: We're one hundred and six days away from the general election.
- 31:54Speaker 6: That the closest analog we have is the nineteen sixty
- 31:57Speaker 6: eight presidential election where lby Lynnon Vaine Johnson was the
- 32:01Speaker 6: incumbent president, the Democrat, and he opted not to run
- 32:05Speaker 6: for reelection. Joe Biden now joins him as the second
- 32:08Speaker 6: incumbent president to opt not to run for reelection. But
- 32:12Speaker 6: LBJ did so much much earlier in the cycle. There
- 32:15Speaker 6: was a full on primary. At the end of the day,
- 32:17Speaker 6: Hubert Humphrey the vice president one but one after only
- 32:21Speaker 6: a very contested race. Interestingly enough, in that cycle there
- 32:25Speaker 6: was someone named Robert F. Kennedy who was running who
- 32:27Speaker 6: tragically was shot and assassinated. We now have RFK Junior,
- 32:31Speaker 6: his son, running this cycle. So there are eerie parallels
- 32:35Speaker 6: in sixty eight as this year, the Democrat convention is
- 32:39Speaker 6: in Chicago. That convention was an absolute mess. It was chaotic,
- 32:43Speaker 6: there were angry left wing protesters outside, there were violent
- 32:46Speaker 6: clashes outside, and it contributed to a landslide victory of
- 32:51Speaker 6: Richard Dixon in that election, and the Republicans we may
- 32:54Speaker 6: well see history repeat itself once again. So what does
- 32:58Speaker 6: the Trump campaign do now? I would say about forty percent,
- 33:03Speaker 6: you run against Kamala Harris. I think Kamala Harris at
- 33:05Speaker 6: this point is very likely to be the Democrat nominee,
- 33:09Speaker 6: and so about forty percent you run against her. In
- 33:11Speaker 6: about sixty percent, you just run against the democrats failed agenda.
- 33:16Speaker 6: And understand, this policy record is not just Joe Biden's,
- 33:20Speaker 6: it's not just Kamala Harris's, but it is every Democrat
- 33:23Speaker 6: in the Senate, It's every Democrat in the House, All
- 33:25Speaker 6: of them have voted repeatedly in favor of trillions and
- 33:28Speaker 6: spending trillions in debt, printing money we don't have inflation
- 33:32Speaker 6: that is hammering working men and women. All of them
- 33:35Speaker 6: have voted repeatedly in favor of the open borders and
- 33:37Speaker 6: the invasion we have on our southern border. All of
- 33:41Speaker 6: them have voted in favor of releasing criminals from jail
- 33:44Speaker 6: and defunding the police and undermining law enforcement. And all
- 33:49Speaker 6: of them have voted in favor of this incredibly disastrous
- 33:53Speaker 6: foreign policy that includes undermining our friends and allies, including
- 33:57Speaker 6: especially the State of Israel, and all also appeasing and
- 34:01Speaker 6: showing weakness to our enemies. So in the Senate, every
- 34:04Speaker 6: Democrat senator has voted in favor of Biden and Harris's
- 34:08Speaker 6: disastrous policy of flowing over one hundred billion dollars to
- 34:13Speaker 6: the Ayatola Kambani and Iran. Iran, in turns, provides ninety
- 34:17Speaker 6: percent of the funding to AMAS and ninety percent of
- 34:19Speaker 6: the funding to Hesbala. So I think what you do
- 34:22Speaker 6: is forty percent Kamala sixty percent. Their record is a disaster.
- 34:27Speaker 6: It's hurt Americans across the board, and it doesn't matter
- 34:30Speaker 6: which widget you drop into the slot. They've got to
- 34:33Speaker 6: defend their record, and the record is a train wreck.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Final question for you, and it's an important one. We
- 34:40Speaker 1: are winning in every poll against Biden. That's obviously why
- 34:43Speaker 1: Biden dropped out. I think this is going to be
- 34:46Speaker 1: a complete reset. You and I just spent time did
- 34:49Speaker 1: several podcasts from Milwaukee, and your concern, as you and
- 34:53Speaker 1: I talked about on the show, was we were over
- 34:55Speaker 1: confident coming out of there. Yes, I think this campaign
- 34:58Speaker 1: is completely The numbers we we have right now are
- 35:00Speaker 1: completely worthless.
- 35:02Speaker 2: In thirty days.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It's a whole, brand new campaign with all brand new
- 35:05Speaker 1: polling data.
- 35:06Speaker 2: We have seen. Everything's happened to this point doesn't matter.
- 35:09Speaker 6: Am I right or wrong? Look, that's exactly right. The
- 35:11Speaker 6: polls today do not matter. And the Democrats deliberately waited
- 35:16Speaker 6: to do this until after the Republican Convention. The convention
- 35:18Speaker 6: was the best Republican convention I've ever seen. We are
- 35:21Speaker 6: more unified than we have ever been. I assume Trump
- 35:24Speaker 6: will get a bounce out of it. Typically the historical
- 35:28Speaker 6: average is about four points, but this announcement is designed
- 35:32Speaker 6: to cut that off and I got to say, on
- 35:35Speaker 6: one level, I was encouraged how unified we were in Milwaukee,
- 35:38Speaker 6: but another level, it scared me because I'm worried. I
- 35:40Speaker 6: don't want Republicans to be overconfident. There was an air
- 35:45Speaker 6: of celebration in Milwaukee, and frankly, the time for celebrating
- 35:48Speaker 6: is after election day, not now. Now is the time
- 35:51Speaker 6: for hard work. We're going to have effectively a month
- 35:54Speaker 6: long Democrat convention where they're going to dominate the news
- 35:58Speaker 6: saying how great all their choices are. That is dangerous.
- 36:01Speaker 6: We need to rally behind Donald Trump to get reelected.
- 36:04Speaker 6: And I'll point out I'm running in a very tough
- 36:06Speaker 6: reelect in Texas where a month of relentless corporate media
- 36:11Speaker 6: pr for the Democrats is dangerous.
- 36:12Speaker 2: So let me encourage folks.
- 36:14Speaker 6: Come to our website, Ted Cruz dot org, Ted Cruz
- 36:17Speaker 6: dot org.
- 36:18Speaker 2: We need your support.
- 36:19Speaker 6: Come to the website Ted Cruz dot org because the Democrats,
- 36:22Speaker 6: Chuck Schumer and George Soros are going to spend over
- 36:25Speaker 6: one hundred million dollars trying to beat me in Texas.
- 36:28Speaker 6: So please come to Ted Cruz dot org and stand
- 36:30Speaker 6: with us.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's important, and I'll say it to everybody listening.
- 36:34Speaker 1: The number one Senator that they are targeting, the Democrats
- 36:37Speaker 1: are targeting, is center Ted Cruz.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Ted Cruise dot Org. Get involved in the race.
- 36:42Speaker 1: It's gonna have more money, probably come from outside the
- 36:45Speaker 1: state than inside and will be the most expensive Senate
- 36:49Speaker 1: race in history of this country. Senator, I appreciate you
- 36:52Speaker 1: coming on as always with this breaking news, and don't
- 36:56Speaker 1: forget download Verdict with Ted Cruz the podcast. I get
- 36:59Speaker 1: the co host with Cruise and you can hear way
- 37:02Speaker 1: more analysis from him on that show.
- 37:04Speaker 2: It's out now.
