- 1:44Speaker 4: to turn the mouth turn out to turn the.
- 1:47Speaker 6: Water of the mony up.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you're think, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You all listening to the voice, come on digging now.
- 2:08Speaker 2: One and all is Steve Harvey. Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God in the
- 2:14Speaker 2: blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm just a recipient. Steve
- 2:20Speaker 2: Harvey got a radio show because God is in the
- 2:22Speaker 2: show you favor business. He showed me some favor. Steve
- 2:28Speaker 2: Harvey got a radio show because God is in a
- 2:30Speaker 2: forgiving business. God then forgave me thousands and thousands of times,
- 2:41Speaker 2: you know. And I say that as a big number
- 2:44Speaker 2: like that, because it's probably true. God is a forgiving God.
- 2:49Speaker 2: That's how it exists today, and that's how you exist today.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And one of the things I want to remind you
- 2:54Speaker 2: about even in existing today, you know, Joel Ostein has
- 2:59Speaker 2: a book i'll called It's Your Time. I love this book.
- 3:02Speaker 2: It's called It's Your Time. And that's kind of what
- 3:06Speaker 2: I want to touch on today. And I want to
- 3:08Speaker 2: remind you all that it's still your time. See, you know,
- 3:15Speaker 2: there's look, you know, they've got unsuccessful people have created
- 3:21Speaker 2: a lot of sayings to justify our failures as people. Well,
- 3:28Speaker 2: my ship has passed. That was created by a person
- 3:35Speaker 2: who did not quite make their goal in the amount
- 3:38Speaker 2: of time that they had set for. So to justify it,
- 3:41Speaker 2: here comes this great, seemingly very clever saying, and a
- 3:46Speaker 2: lot of us adapt, Well, my ship has passed, so
- 3:49Speaker 2: we adopt that. Here's another one. Well, I guess it
- 3:52Speaker 2: just wasn't meant to be. That sounds good, don't it,
- 3:56Speaker 2: Because they mix it up with a little bit of
- 3:59Speaker 2: faith base in it. I guessed it was. Well, here's
- 4:03Speaker 2: another one. I guess if God wanted it for me,
- 4:06Speaker 2: i'd have it. Are you serious, man? Are you serious?
- 4:12Speaker 2: You're actually gonna use that one to justify where you
- 4:18Speaker 2: are in life?
- 4:19Speaker 7: Man?
- 4:20Speaker 2: That that's so, that's so not the case. I want
- 4:24Speaker 2: to remind everybody today that it's still your time. That
- 4:30Speaker 2: you know your ship hasn't sailed, you didn't miss all
- 4:34Speaker 2: of your opportunities. There's others. It's still your time. You
- 4:40Speaker 2: know you still got a chance. You still have a shot.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Here's a good one. You still have hope, you do
- 4:54Speaker 2: all of you. As long as God is who he is,
- 5:00Speaker 2: there's always hope for you. You can never lose sight
- 5:04Speaker 2: of that. You can never let the devil win that
- 5:07Speaker 2: battle that there is no hope for you and cause
- 5:11Speaker 2: you to do something that's unthinkable. I'm just gonna cash
- 5:17Speaker 2: in the chips. I'm gonna take my life. I'm gonna
- 5:20Speaker 2: commit suicide. No no, no, wait a second, Wait a second,
- 5:23Speaker 2: Are you for real? That's not God talking to you.
- 5:27Speaker 2: That's something wrong and it's not coming from him. It's
- 5:33Speaker 2: still your time. You still got a chance. There's always hope.
- 5:38Speaker 2: But listen to me. You got to move and you
- 5:42Speaker 2: got to move on it. So many people are not
- 5:46Speaker 2: getting the full benefit of their life, and so many
- 5:49Speaker 2: people are not getting all the blessings that God has
- 5:52Speaker 2: for because you keep waiting on the perfect time. Man,
- 5:57Speaker 2: how many times have I heard people come to me
- 5:59Speaker 2: and say, hey man, I'm just waiting on everything to
- 6:02Speaker 2: line up right, man, I'm waiting on the perfect time
- 6:05Speaker 2: to get Hey, can I tell you something. If I
- 6:09Speaker 2: were waiting on the perfect time, I wouldn't be hardly
- 6:13Speaker 2: any of the things that I've become. And one of
- 6:18Speaker 2: my greatest blessings was marrying Marjorie. I wouldn't even have
- 6:24Speaker 2: married Marjorie if I was waiting on the perfect time,
- 6:28Speaker 2: because I had gone through what I thought was enough
- 6:33Speaker 2: misery to cover my entire lifetime. And so when I
- 6:38Speaker 2: was first divorced, I just said, man, it's gonna be
- 6:43Speaker 2: five six years before I do this again. I said it.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Two years later I was married. But guess what, man,
- 6:54Speaker 2: it wasn't the perfect time. I didn't have my ducks,
- 6:58Speaker 2: all my ducks lined up in a row. It was
- 7:01Speaker 2: still some things I needed to clean up. I even
- 7:04Speaker 2: told her, it's some things I want to clean up
- 7:06Speaker 2: out of my life. Before you know it's it's I
- 7:10Speaker 2: want I want to make sure I got all the
- 7:12Speaker 2: stars a line up. You know I want to I
- 7:14Speaker 2: want to wait until all the ducks are in a row.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I was waiting on the perfect time. If I had
- 7:21Speaker 2: not stopped, and Marjorie and I had set out and
- 7:25Speaker 2: said to each other there'll be no perfect time. And
- 7:30Speaker 2: then she said, I'll go through with you whatever you're
- 7:32Speaker 2: going through. That was it. I took a chance. The
- 7:40Speaker 2: ducks were not lined up in a row. Had a
- 7:44Speaker 2: lot of baggage in my life, man, I wanted to
- 7:46Speaker 2: try to clear up. I wanted to do some things
- 7:48Speaker 2: financially different. I wanted to just get rid of some
- 7:51Speaker 2: residue I had in my life. She said, no, we'll
- 7:56Speaker 2: do it together, because ain't no perfect time. And guess
- 7:59Speaker 2: what it was. So if you're out there waiting on
- 8:02Speaker 2: the perfect time to do something, it may not come.
- 8:07Speaker 2: There is no such thing as waiting on the perfect time.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I've said this one hundred times, and here comes one
- 8:12Speaker 2: oh one. The road to success is always under construction.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You ain't finna go out there and there ain't no
- 8:18Speaker 2: barrels on the road. You're not going out there and
- 8:21Speaker 2: not running to detours signs. You're not going out there
- 8:24Speaker 2: without seeing the men working sign to get off. You're
- 8:27Speaker 2: not going out there to see it. So guess what,
- 8:30Speaker 2: stop waiting on the The stars are gonna Man, this
- 8:33Speaker 2: is the perfect time to do it. Now. If you're
- 8:36Speaker 2: waiting on the perfect time, that could be one of
- 8:39Speaker 2: your biggest problems. You're still waiting. You have got to
- 8:42Speaker 2: move and you've got to move on it, and you've
- 8:44Speaker 2: got to make a decision to go now. God will
- 8:48Speaker 2: get you through everything necessary for you to get through.
- 8:51Speaker 2: But you can't quit though. See here there's a part.
- 8:55Speaker 2: You can't quit just because the road you're on is
- 8:58Speaker 2: under construction. You get off at the exit because you're
- 9:02Speaker 2: tired of all the bump of the bumper traffic. It's
- 9:04Speaker 2: that way. Get you some God, like I said, get
- 9:09Speaker 2: you some God, and go on and go see what
- 9:11Speaker 2: your life can be like. So stop waiting on the
- 9:14Speaker 2: perfect time, stop waiting on the stars to align themselves.
- 9:17Speaker 2: You got to move and you got to move on it.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Get you some God, apply some faith, and get started.
- 9:25Speaker 2: And remember when you get out there, coming towards your goal.
- 9:28Speaker 2: The road to construct, the road to success is always
- 9:31Speaker 2: under construction. If it was easy, everybody would be it.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Stop expecting it to be easy. Come on out here,
- 9:37Speaker 2: get up in this thing. It's funky out here. Yeah
- 9:39Speaker 2: I got all that. It's hard out here, yeah I
- 9:41Speaker 2: got all that. But what you want to do, man, huh,
- 9:45Speaker 2: what you wanna do? You're gonna push your chips up
- 9:48Speaker 2: to the window. It ain't time for that. You still
- 9:51Speaker 2: got time, you still got a chance. There's always hope,
- 9:54Speaker 2: There's always God. That's my conversation today.
- 9:57Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, one hundred percent attention. Please the Lord
- 10:08Speaker 2: God Almighty has done it again, giving us a brand
- 10:12Speaker 2: new day, a new opportunity, another chance. Man, what a
- 10:17Speaker 2: blessing it is to be here. What a blessing it
- 10:21Speaker 2: is to be waking up in the morning. There's no
- 10:23Speaker 2: such thing as getting up on the wrong side of
- 10:25Speaker 2: the bed. If you get up, yall to thank him
- 10:29Speaker 2: for it, if you can think, you are to thank
- 10:32Speaker 2: him for it. Whatever has happened in your life has
- 10:35Speaker 2: happened in your life for a reason. It is preparing
- 10:39Speaker 2: you for the things you have asked for and the
- 10:41Speaker 2: places you are going. You're gonna have hard times. There's
- 10:46Speaker 2: nowhere it says that life won't be hard. It will,
- 10:51Speaker 2: But what the promise is he would always be with you.
- 10:55Speaker 2: That's the promise through it all the good, the bad,
- 10:58Speaker 2: the thick and the thin. That's what I'm talking about.
- 11:02Speaker 2: So no matter what how I feel, when I wake up,
- 11:04Speaker 2: it's gonna be all right. But I don't wake up
- 11:06Speaker 2: like that. I wake up with it. It's all right attitude,
- 11:09Speaker 2: because man, I'm not finish. Sit up there and be
- 11:12Speaker 2: one of them people talking about I got up on
- 11:14Speaker 2: the wrong side of the bed. I don't feel like this.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I'm sick of my job. I like all my job.
- 11:19Speaker 2: You don't like your job, quit your job, But you
- 11:21Speaker 2: what you don't want to do is quit waking up.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Just want to throw that out there. Steve Harvey, Marty Show,
- 11:25Speaker 2: Shelty Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica Junior and the

- 11:41Speaker 9: a fool already in week two of coming back to school.
- 11:44Speaker 9: Do you have any advice for them? How to hang
- 11:47Speaker 9: in there with these kids? Do you have any Now,
- 11:49Speaker 9: I've never been a teacher before. I played one on TV,
- 11:52Speaker 9: but it was all active.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and I didn't care for it then, So I
- 11:59Speaker 2: have nothing. The teacher nothing, don't I don't even know
- 12:02Speaker 2: what they're going through. All I know is they're highly underpaid.
- 12:06Speaker 2: They're the most underpaid profession in the world.
- 12:09Speaker 1: To take that again.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and so that's all I really, I can't give
- 12:13Speaker 2: you no advice because all advice I'm gonna get you,
- 12:15Speaker 2: gonna get you locked up. So I can't help.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You not catch a case.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all you can get. Listen to me about
- 12:22Speaker 2: handing kids, because just give me like a child does
- 12:25Speaker 2: what to ask? Tell me something a child will do? Then, junior,
- 12:29Speaker 2: you ain't got no kids. So let's go to a college.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And sure.

- 15:03Speaker 2: Right now?
- 15:04Speaker 11: This is Quincy right here. It's Quincy. I work in
- 15:06Speaker 11: the same build. I work on the same floor you
- 15:08Speaker 11: work on, all right, and I know that a lot

- 16:13Speaker 12: you need to calm down first.
- 16:15Speaker 11: No, I ain't coming. I ain't calming down. Okay, I'm
- 16:18Speaker 11: telling you right now. You're gonna get up in your cubicle.
- 16:21Speaker 7: If I'm I'm saying.
- 16:22Speaker 12: But I'm trying to tell you I'm not the one

- 22:17Speaker 8: Democratic Senator Corey Booker is finally engaged. We'll talk about that, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yep, yep.
- 22:26Speaker 8: And then switching gears and trending headline news. A Houston
- 22:30Speaker 8: man is charged with murder and the ding Dong doorbell
- 22:33Speaker 8: ditch prank that went horribly, horribly wrong. We'll talk about
- 22:37Speaker 8: all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 22:40Speaker 8: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 22:44Speaker 8: our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. All right, clo, here
- 22:48Speaker 8: we go. This is from Cheryl and Poughkeepsie Cheryl Wright.
- 22:52Speaker 8: School just started, and I've already been up to the
- 22:55Speaker 8: school because my eleven year old was being a class clown.
- 23:00Speaker 8: He thinks he's a comedian, and he says his friends
- 23:02Speaker 8: thinks he's funny.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Will he grow out of this? This is Ryl and
- 23:06Speaker 1: Poughkeepski's question the mom.
- 23:08Speaker 8: Will he grow out of this or will his behavior
- 23:11Speaker 8: get even worse?
- 23:13Speaker 2: No? No, he's not going to grow out of that.
- 23:17Speaker 1: And you're speaking as a well I was.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I wasn't a client class clown. I wasn't a class
- 23:24Speaker 2: clown at all. He was the direct opposite in school,
- 23:28Speaker 2: very quiet, and then I had studied because the last
- 23:31Speaker 2: thing I won't do is talking out loud, so that
- 23:34Speaker 2: was not an option for me. But I knew a
- 23:37Speaker 2: lot of class clowns and they never grow out of it.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It just gets worse.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And what does that look like when it gets worse.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I mean continues to get attention.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Uh, your uncle said he wasn't.
- 23:51Speaker 2: A class No, I definitely I was never. I'm most
- 23:55Speaker 2: different he was. I didn't crazy. I thought I thought that.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I thought that I thought my people at my school
- 24:03Speaker 2: were silly.
- 24:04Speaker 15: Oh okay, really, because yeah, I never.
- 24:16Speaker 2: I never went through that phase of being like silly.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I just because I guess my parents were so old,
- 24:22Speaker 2: my youngest brother eleven years older than me, so I
- 24:24Speaker 2: was emulating what I was living with. So I didn't
- 24:29Speaker 2: I was never silly. I've never been goofy, none of that.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I like girls because my brothers like girls. I never
- 24:38Speaker 2: had the phase why I didn't like girls. That was
- 24:42Speaker 2: crazy to me.
- 24:45Speaker 8: So you're telling her that her her son's behavior is
- 24:49Speaker 8: going to get worse.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he thinks he funny, and then all his friends
- 24:54Speaker 2: think he funny. And then the only way you can
- 24:56Speaker 2: slow that down is you got to There got to
- 24:59Speaker 2: be some rep rushians for you having to go up
- 25:01Speaker 2: to the school. It's got to be some consequences.
- 25:05Speaker 8: Well, I know when we were growing up, that was
- 25:07Speaker 8: a big no no. If your parents had to take
- 25:09Speaker 8: off work and go.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Up to the man.
- 25:14Speaker 11: You know, I ain't got to get off my job
- 25:16Speaker 11: and some of my field. I know you ain't got
- 25:17Speaker 11: me out here. What oh my job? I got that
- 25:20Speaker 11: good job. You don't lost your man? Oh?
- 25:22Speaker 1: Thank you? You a stand up comedian, all right.
- 25:27Speaker 8: Moving on to Jimmy and Duncanville, Jimmy writes, I had
- 25:31Speaker 8: my wife's phone and I happened to find pictures of
- 25:33Speaker 8: her taking mirror selfies wearing nothing but her underwear. She
- 25:38Speaker 8: said she was admiring her body. Who does that? I
- 25:41Speaker 8: think the selfies are for another man? Is my wife
- 25:45Speaker 8: lying to me? O?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Bruh, Women do that all the time, talking about who
- 25:50Speaker 2: do that? Who do that? You don't think people take
- 25:56Speaker 2: selfies for themselves? She says she was in mind body.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Uh what yeah, ain't nothing else for her to say,
- 26:07Speaker 2: but what you want? You want me to you but
- 26:11Speaker 2: you want me to tell me you need to check
- 26:12Speaker 2: her because she send it to her man because that's
- 26:14Speaker 2: probably not the case.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Oh you don't think she was lying?
- 26:19Speaker 2: No, No, send it to another man. He see if
- 26:25Speaker 2: he had a text with some dude's naming in that
- 26:27Speaker 2: picture in it? That ted, I, you have a situation.
- 26:31Speaker 2: But in her phone she has pictures of herself. She
- 26:34Speaker 2: was at mind her body, that's what she told you.
- 26:39Speaker 11: Send us the pictures and let me tell you if
- 26:42Speaker 11: if it was really something she kept to herself.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Why didn't she send them to her husband? Here right there?
- 26:51Speaker 3: He see them?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Oh, he sees her body every every day.
- 26:57Speaker 8: Okay, all right? Moving on to Rosalie and Tallahassee. Rosalie writes,
- 27:05Speaker 8: my friend is dating a man that says he loves
- 27:07Speaker 8: her and he wants to marry her, but they only
- 27:11Speaker 8: have sex once a month. If then they're both in
- 27:15Speaker 8: their mid forties, and her sex drive is off the charts,
- 27:19Speaker 8: but apparently his isn't. What's going on with him.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Well, he got a problem. He has his medical problem.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Oh he ain't found that right combination. So what they
- 27:33Speaker 2: got this new thing out. Well you can't hear about
- 27:36Speaker 2: it no more because it was on the Shannon Shop
- 27:38Speaker 2: or podcast. But you can't hear about it no more
- 27:40Speaker 2: because he they took that. But it got a you know,
- 27:45Speaker 2: you could have got let's just let's talk about this.
- 27:48Speaker 2: You could have got the blue pill. Everybody know what
- 27:51Speaker 2: the blue pill is, and you could get the yellow peal,
- 27:54Speaker 2: the blue pill or the yellow pill. Well they got
- 27:58Speaker 2: a new one. Now that's a red peal.
- 28:02Speaker 11: That right, the that that's the one that got through things?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, everything really.
- 28:13Speaker 8: There?
- 28:13Speaker 11: That that that that that's the one that got that
- 28:19Speaker 11: the one I've been you that oh, I'll tell you
- 28:23Speaker 11: that the one that that's the one that I you,
- 28:24Speaker 11: the one that tell you, the one that made me
- 28:26Speaker 11: look thron that's the one that I you.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm taking that right now.
- 28:33Speaker 1: This was somewhere else.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Third third, thirty. I never met you before thirty, but.
- 28:47Speaker 1: That okay, that's what he's saying.
- 28:52Speaker 2: They got that.
- 28:58Speaker 16: Wow.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Okay, okay, so that one. Yeah, we're doing with that
- 29:03Speaker 1: one for sure. Last one.
- 29:07Speaker 8: This is your last chance to redeem yourself, Albert and Charleston.
- 29:14Speaker 7: Right.
- 29:14Speaker 8: My girlfriend and I are going to an awards banquet
- 29:16Speaker 8: and she thinks we should dress alike. So she picked
- 29:19Speaker 8: out my shirt and tie to match her dress. I
- 29:22Speaker 8: refuse to wear the shirt and the tie that she
- 29:25Speaker 8: bought for me.
- 29:26Speaker 1: How do I break the news to her?
- 29:29Speaker 2: Wow, well it's not a bad idea. See you wearing
- 29:34Speaker 2: a suit, you're probably wearing a black one, and she's
- 29:37Speaker 2: wearing a pink dress, and she bought your pink shirt
- 29:39Speaker 2: and tie. You know, I don't know if you've been
- 29:43Speaker 2: noticed in one of the cold dresses in the game.
- 29:45Speaker 2: But I introduced a monographic look you know what I'm saying.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Monochromatic?
- 29:52Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I call it monographic, yes, and don't correct
- 29:58Speaker 2: me no more then whatever, And I wear a tone
- 30:05Speaker 2: on to I actually have suits where the suit, the shirt,
- 30:08Speaker 2: and the toe is the exact same. Yeah. Yeah, so
- 30:12Speaker 2: I think she tried to do it, but I think
- 30:14Speaker 2: her two pinks might not match.
- 30:17Speaker 1: But is that something to be mad about?
- 30:19Speaker 2: All Right?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Coming up. Thank you, Cila.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Yeah, coming up at the top of the hour. We'll
- 30:25Speaker 8: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 30:29Speaker 8: listening Dave Harvey Morning Show. Cardi B won her civil
- 30:37Speaker 8: assault lawsuit. The jury of six men and six women
- 30:40Speaker 8: at a small courthouse in Alhamburg, California, deliberate it for
- 30:44Speaker 8: only about an hour before finding Cardi B not liable
- 30:48Speaker 8: in the twenty four million dollar lawsuit brought on by
- 30:52Speaker 8: security guardi Mani Ellis, who alleged that Cardi B cut
- 30:56Speaker 8: her face with a fingernail and spat on her in
- 30:59Speaker 8: the hallway of a Beverly Hill's obstetrician office. This was
- 31:02Speaker 8: back in February of twenty eighteen. Cardi B acknowledged that
- 31:06Speaker 8: the two did argue, but said it never got physical.
- 31:10Speaker 8: Take a listen to Cardi B's press conference after the trial.
- 31:13Speaker 17: I did not touch that woman. I did not touch
- 31:16Speaker 17: that girl. I didn't lay my hands on that girl.
- 31:19Speaker 17: And with that being said, with that being said, this
- 31:24Speaker 17: time around, I'm gonna be nice. The next person to
- 31:27Speaker 17: try to do a frivolous lawful against me, I'm going
- 31:32Speaker 17: to counter soon and I'm gonna make you pay because
- 31:35Speaker 17: this is not okay. I think people have like this
- 31:38Speaker 17: misinterpretations of celebrities, Like I said, oh, well, we could
- 31:41Speaker 17: ask for this and they're gonna settle. You don't work
- 31:44Speaker 17: at home, and you don't work all day, and you
- 31:46Speaker 17: don't work for your money to give out your money.
- 31:49Speaker 17: So don't ever think that I'm just gonna give you
- 31:51Speaker 17: my money that I work hard for.
- 31:53Speaker 1: All right, Cardi b is spoken.
- 31:56Speaker 2: See that's a real statement. I was watching some of
- 31:58Speaker 2: the trial because you know what was doing excerpts and
- 32:01Speaker 2: card to be funny on she'd be letting them have
- 32:08Speaker 2: the cheese. But you know what, and so now here
- 32:12Speaker 2: we go, here's a woman who soothes a celebrity falsely.
- 32:18Speaker 2: It didn't even get tried to get a check, thinking
- 32:21Speaker 2: they're gonna settle. When they go to court and they
- 32:24Speaker 2: find her within minutes innocent of charges. Now, guess what,
- 32:29Speaker 2: CARDI don't have to spend money time gotta go down
- 32:33Speaker 2: here to this court to defend a lie. Now when
- 32:37Speaker 2: we find out it's all a lie, then the person
- 32:41Speaker 2: who made the false charge, they just get to go home. Well,
- 32:45Speaker 2: I try to get that money. It didn't work. No, man,
- 32:48Speaker 2: we gotta have laws that when the person is found
- 32:52Speaker 2: innocent of a false accusation, that the person who bought
- 32:57Speaker 2: the false accusation has to do some time that'll slow
- 33:01Speaker 2: all his day. Yeah, all right, but they're are none
- 33:06Speaker 2: So there's nothing to protect the celebrity from being falsely accused. Nothing.
- 33:12Speaker 2: And now with the invent of the Internet, it's just
- 33:15Speaker 2: now you can just say anything you want to say
- 33:18Speaker 2: about a person.
- 33:20Speaker 8: All right, guys, switching gears here. This is another trending
- 33:26Speaker 8: headline story. A forty two year old Houston man has
- 33:29Speaker 8: been charged with murder after he fatally shot an eleven
- 33:33Speaker 8: year old boy after the boy and his cousin play
- 33:36Speaker 8: the ding Dong ditch prank that has been trending on
- 33:39Speaker 8: TikTok and other social media platforms. Polease say the little
- 33:43Speaker 8: boy and his cousin rang forty two year old Gonzalo
- 33:46Speaker 8: Leon Junior's door three times before he shot the child
- 33:50Speaker 8: in the back. A witness says the suspect came out
- 33:54Speaker 8: of the house, ran out into the street and was
- 33:56Speaker 8: firing down the road that the little boy was able
- 33:59Speaker 8: to run about a block before collapsing in the street.
- 34:03Speaker 8: The suspect is an army veteran. He now faces murder
- 34:06Speaker 8: charges after police found twenty guns and tactical gear in
- 34:11Speaker 8: his womb.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he played. First of all, he was trying
- 34:17Speaker 2: to say it was self defense because you know they've
- 34:20Speaker 2: you know, because you know they got his picture on
- 34:22Speaker 2: cn end. Yes, yes, and so you know he was
- 34:26Speaker 2: saying self defense.
- 34:28Speaker 8: Well, how yeah, makes that makes sense?
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah, No, he has to go to prison and pay
- 34:37Speaker 2: for killing this boy. Nobody can ring your.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Doorbell, man, that's your reaction.
- 34:43Speaker 2: That's for you, that's your response.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Come on.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Well, that's also the problem with gun ownership. Everybody don't
- 34:52Speaker 2: need a gun. But here's the problem. A lot of
- 34:57Speaker 2: people who carry guns, who have even a license to carry.
- 35:03Speaker 2: When you carry a gun, it creates an option to
- 35:07Speaker 2: use it. Yeah, if you don't have a gun, there's
- 35:11Speaker 2: no option to use it. And the majority of these
- 35:14Speaker 2: deaths and stuff, it's over some frivolous stuff that two
- 35:18Speaker 2: guys get into an altercation road rage. You know, he
- 35:23Speaker 2: scraped my car, he stepped on my shoe, he looked
- 35:28Speaker 2: at my girl. Now, because you have this gun on you,
- 35:31Speaker 2: that becomes an option and now you use it. And
- 35:36Speaker 2: now here we go, and we did this as.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Kids did.
- 35:45Speaker 8: Ring the doorbell and run. It was just a silly
- 35:48Speaker 8: thing that kids did. It was a prank, but it was.
- 35:52Speaker 1: And then they ran away. So you went after him.
- 35:54Speaker 1: See that's it. Shot him in the back and not
- 36:00Speaker 1: say that, Chyle, you can't say that was self defense.
- 36:04Speaker 2: And I got you can tell an eleven year old running.
- 36:10Speaker 8: Yeah, baby, Yeah, this is this is a horrible, horrible story.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so sad. It really really is. All right,
- 36:23Speaker 1: finally we got to switch gears here.
- 36:25Speaker 8: On a lighter note, I'll just say that, congratulations going
- 36:29Speaker 8: out to Democratic New Jersey Senator Cory Booker. Senator Booker
- 36:35Speaker 8: has announced on Instagram that he is engaged now after
- 36:38Speaker 8: about a year. This according to the NJ dot Com,
- 36:41Speaker 8: he and it's fiance, Alexis Lewis have been dating, like
- 36:44Speaker 8: I said, for about a year, and police say Booker's
- 36:47Speaker 8: fiance and his former girlfriend, actress Rosario Dawson, look alike.
- 36:52Speaker 1: If you want to get a picture.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Alike.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Monica need a picture please.
- 37:03Speaker 8: Coming coming up at twenty minutes after the hour is
- 37:08Speaker 8: scientists debunk zodiac signs.

- 39:03Speaker 1: It's game.
- 39:06Speaker 8: No, No, okay, all right, let's move on to Tommy.
- 39:12Speaker 8: That's wrongs. Tommy is a chorus Tommy. They say tourists

- 39:26Speaker 2: Patient stable, I'm on stable dog.
- 39:34Speaker 1: That is opposite.

- 39:41Speaker 1: Yes, they they love cooking. They love cooking. Uh huh.
- 39:48Speaker 8: Their materialistic, they say, to materialistic. And they say tourists
- 39:53Speaker 8: people are stubborn. No, you say.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I don't see that. I don't get over that. It
- 40:08Speaker 2: is capricorn.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 40:11Speaker 8: See if you're here a capricorn. They say Capricorns are
- 40:15Speaker 8: driven to succeed.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Got check.
- 40:18Speaker 8: Check they take commitments seriously, check, they achieve their goals.

- 40:36Speaker 1: They nail that one, Junior.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not fitting to ask you for nothing. Yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 2: we know what I need.
- 40:46Speaker 1: And you don't really like people ask me.
- 40:49Speaker 2: I have true Capricorn traits.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah you do.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yeah, from a lot of the stuff I read. They
- 40:55Speaker 2: nailed Junior with that insecure.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Movie named Insecure.
- 41:01Speaker 2: All right, I should have should have had number thirty.
- 41:05Speaker 8: Four minutes after the hour, ray Lewis says Shannon Sharp
- 41:08Speaker 8: has changed since becoming famous, and Shannon Sharp clapped back,
- 41:12Speaker 8: we'll talk about it right after this.
- 41:14Speaker 1: You thought, all right, I'd be you're listening, Dave Harvey
- 41:18Speaker 1: Morning Show, NFL Legend.
- 41:24Speaker 8: Ray Lewis was a guest on the p b D
- 41:28Speaker 8: podcast and he talked about how surprised he is about
- 41:31Speaker 8: Shannon Sharp's content on his podcast Take a Listen.
- 41:35Speaker 19: Right A lot of times, a lot of these gossip
- 41:37Speaker 19: conversations that they have in bringing up all this stuff,
- 41:40Speaker 19: I'm not gonna do that, nobody, I'm not.
- 41:41Speaker 2: I'm not in the business for that.
- 41:43Speaker 19: I'm in life to try to teach people what doesn't
- 41:45Speaker 19: mean to be a better man or get back to
- 41:47Speaker 19: the kingdom, you know, And a lot of times like
- 41:50Speaker 19: and a lot of guys get in trouble with these
- 41:52Speaker 19: podcasts and things, man, because everybody wants the follower, everybody
- 41:56Speaker 19: wants to be popular, everybody wants to make money. But
- 41:59Speaker 19: that's a that's a tight rope into what you call
- 42:02Speaker 19: influence and popularity. And the devil has the ability to
- 42:06Speaker 19: make you popular. God has the ability to give you
- 42:09Speaker 19: influence that when people see you, they see an image
- 42:12Speaker 19: of him.
- 42:13Speaker 2: All right, you know I saw that interview. What was
- 42:16Speaker 2: the clapback?
- 42:17Speaker 8: That's all right, Shannon clapback and said this on his
- 42:21Speaker 8: Nightcap podcast with take.
- 42:23Speaker 20: A listen, everybody, everybody want to everybody jump on now.
- 42:26Speaker 20: Hey we got him down, Ojoe, we got him down
- 42:29Speaker 20: the best time.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Hey, let me get let me get my link.
- 42:32Speaker 20: Now, everybody want to get a linck now because where
- 42:36Speaker 20: your boy were doing good? You're here a lot of
- 42:39Speaker 20: people that have a whole lot to say. Thank Yeah,
- 42:41Speaker 20: everybody got something to say.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Well, so here's okay, here's here's here's my or take
- 42:48Speaker 2: on that. And I know both of them and h
- 42:53Speaker 2: once again, this is our Bishop Bromp Bonner down in Atlanta,
- 43:00Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times what he said
- 43:03Speaker 2: really affected the way I think. You have to be
- 43:07Speaker 2: careful of people who are the victim of circumstances that
- 43:12Speaker 2: they created themselves. Now everybody want to pile on. Everybody
- 43:17Speaker 2: want to pile on. When I was on top, ain't
- 43:19Speaker 2: nobody had nothing to say. But you got on top
- 43:22Speaker 2: at the expense of others. And when I was at
- 43:26Speaker 2: Earn your leisure Man, that's one of the things me
- 43:28Speaker 2: and Charlemagne was sitting on stage and talking about it,
- 43:30Speaker 2: and I was talking to him and everybody else, I said,
- 43:33Speaker 2: you have a brand. So once you have a brand,
- 43:36Speaker 2: your brand is twenty four to seven. See podcast creates
- 43:41Speaker 2: an air of fake freedom, you think, because you're not
- 43:47Speaker 2: on radio as we are right now this morning, terrestrial
- 43:51Speaker 2: free radio, FCC rules and regulations. You go to a podcast,
- 43:57Speaker 2: they don't have it. So now you get on a
- 43:59Speaker 2: podcast and you become something else that ain't regulated. Well,
- 44:03Speaker 2: now that is still a cost to the universe. So
- 44:07Speaker 2: if your podcast is benefiting at the expense of others,
- 44:14Speaker 2: don't you know that that expense has to be paid.
- 44:19Speaker 2: It has to be paid. It's got to come back
- 44:22Speaker 2: the same way if you don't mind messing over nobody's reputation,
- 44:27Speaker 2: and you don't mind letting somebody come on your show
- 44:29Speaker 2: and say what they want to say about everybody and
- 44:31Speaker 2: put them down and trash them and drag them. Then
- 44:34Speaker 2: you also have to be prepared for the consequences when
- 44:39Speaker 2: you get dragged. Nope, nope, nope, nope no. So see,
- 44:44Speaker 2: it ain't everybody piling on bro. It's really not. Oh,
- 44:48Speaker 2: it's not Oh he down, we got him now, it's not.
- 44:50Speaker 2: It's not that Bruhn. What you got? What? What do
- 44:54Speaker 2: you think they did? D What did they do with them?
- 44:56Speaker 18: Dy?
- 44:56Speaker 2: What did they do? Timothy? When I'm down? What did
- 44:58Speaker 2: they do? The reguation?
- 45:00Speaker 11: Now I've got a great little got a therm, and
- 45:01Speaker 11: you want to getna be a pre th all this
- 45:03Speaker 11: kind of stuff right now when I would win and
- 45:06Speaker 11: the ray Loud didn't have another thing, not it up
- 45:08Speaker 11: down Ray Loud want.
- 45:09Speaker 2: To kick somebody. That's Shanny, Shanny, Shanny. They're think how
- 45:15Speaker 2: you got popular was with gossip and shade. That's really
- 45:21Speaker 2: how you got pop.
- 45:22Speaker 11: It's always gonna be through j That's that's what's going
- 45:24Speaker 11: on all the My shild was one of the greatest
- 45:27Speaker 11: things that I did. One of the greatest thilds that
- 45:29Speaker 11: I Then people come on and talk about what's going
- 45:31Speaker 11: on with what's going on with them? What is the problem?
- 45:33Speaker 11: I don't want to think the problem. You came on
- 45:35Speaker 11: my health, Think what the problem that with me? You
- 45:38Speaker 11: thint that with me too, Think what what is the problem?
- 45:40Speaker 15: Now?
- 45:41Speaker 2: All I talked about was positive and encouraging people. But
- 45:45Speaker 2: after that, and which was your highest rated segment up
- 45:48Speaker 2: to that point, But then after that you put some
- 45:51Speaker 2: other people on that got you huge ratings, and it
- 45:55Speaker 2: was all in the disc game, and then you compile
- 45:57Speaker 2: that and brought on other guests who was in the game,
- 46:00Speaker 2: well now to this game and fired backs.
- 46:02Speaker 11: So that's what you want. You want to car, you
- 46:05Speaker 11: want to be. You want to decide who come on
- 46:07Speaker 11: to kill and who don't come on and tell you
- 46:09Speaker 11: I gotta go.
- 46:09Speaker 2: No, No, No.
- 46:12Speaker 8: Today's Frank phone call. Right after day. You're listening to
- 46:16Speaker 8: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 46:22Speaker 8: of the hour, right about four minutes after it is

- 48:14Speaker 7: some services to uh for for you by some friends
- 48:18Speaker 7: of yours, and we wanted to actually call and see
- 48:20Speaker 7: about scheduling and see what you had available.
- 48:24Speaker 13: Uh some some services. What you're planning on cutting some grass?
- 48:29Speaker 13: Which I do what kind of services you have?
- 48:31Speaker 7: Actually, sir, You've got some friends that have actually spent
- 48:35Speaker 7: a great amount of money on you. And what we
- 48:37Speaker 7: do is we have a Baptismal on Wheels survey. And
- 48:42Speaker 7: what we do is we go and we we baptize
- 48:46Speaker 7: people at their home and and Baptism on Wheels has
- 48:49Speaker 7: been a new company, but we've we've baptized over a

- 49:42Speaker 13: it made man. I mean, I've been baptized, I go
- 49:44Speaker 13: to church. You know, me and the Lord don't have
- 49:47Speaker 13: no problems. I mean we all have setbacks. But for
- 49:49Speaker 13: you to pull up with your pool in front of

- 50:20Speaker 16: Brother Water.
- 50:21Speaker 13: I mean, come on, if you really sit back and

- 50:25Speaker 7: The first of all, so that that's that's that's that's
- 50:29Speaker 7: brother spring water.
- 50:30Speaker 14: But what I'm trying to what I'm trying to the
- 50:32Speaker 14: water is holy water, spring Water.
- 50:35Speaker 13: It doesn't make no difference to me. You can't come
- 50:38Speaker 13: to my neighborhood and baptize me in front of my house.
- 50:42Speaker 11: Sir.
- 50:44Speaker 7: This is this is what your friends are talking about.

- 51:54Speaker 16: the sisters and everybody else.
- 51:56Speaker 14: If you think I'm gonna be badtizing my God.
- 51:58Speaker 7: This is the problem. This is what your friends will
- 51:59Speaker 7: talk talking about. This is why you need to be
- 52:01Speaker 7: baptized and cleansed again and washed in the blood of
- 52:04Speaker 7: the lamp. This is what's wrong. You need to be cleansed.
- 52:07Speaker 7: That's what's wrong with you. Mister Wilton. What's brother with me?
- 52:10Speaker 15: Now?

- 56:45Speaker 8: Letter, Thank you nephew. Subject I should have moved before
- 56:50Speaker 8: I got married. Dear Stephen Shirley, my neighbor has become
- 56:54Speaker 8: a problem, and my wife is starting to notice. Back
- 56:58Speaker 8: in the day, I rented the house I live in
- 57:01Speaker 8: from my next door neighbor's husband. Before he died, he
- 57:04Speaker 8: sold me the house. I'm not proud of this, but
- 57:07Speaker 8: after his death I was at his house a lot
- 57:11Speaker 8: having sex with his widow. It started with home cooked meals,
- 57:15Speaker 8: and I felt obligated to help her do things around
- 57:18Speaker 8: the house. She was a very beautiful woman and she
- 57:21Speaker 8: looked so lonely back then. I eventually told her that
- 57:25Speaker 8: we couldn't have sex anymore because I'd met someone special.
- 57:28Speaker 8: Months after that, she met the lady that's my wife now.
- 57:32Speaker 8: The neighbor lady said she was happy for me, but
- 57:35Speaker 8: she asked me to have sex with her one last
- 57:38Speaker 8: time before I fell in love and forgot about her.
- 57:41Speaker 8: I refused the sex, and I told her that I
- 57:43Speaker 8: could never forget her. In the back of my mind,
- 57:47Speaker 8: I knew that it was time to sell my house
- 57:49Speaker 8: and move far away from the neighbor. But I stayed
- 57:53Speaker 8: in the house. I got married, and I moved my
- 57:56Speaker 8: new wife in with me. Now a year later, my
- 58:00Speaker 8: neighbor has been calling me all hours of the day
- 58:04Speaker 8: and night to do things for her. Monday night she
- 58:07Speaker 8: called and asked if I could come kill a lizard
- 58:09Speaker 8: in her garage. I did it. My wife was side
- 58:13Speaker 8: eyeing me. Then yesterday the neighbor called and said she
- 58:17Speaker 8: had a sore throat and asked if I could run
- 58:19Speaker 8: out and get her two lemons and some chicken noodle soup.
- 58:23Speaker 8: I told my wife, and she said if I went
- 58:25Speaker 8: to the store for the neighbor, then she was going
- 58:28Speaker 8: to leave me for good, because I don't even go
- 58:30Speaker 8: to the store for her. I was so nervous that
- 58:33Speaker 8: my hand started shaking. My neighbor is a ticking time bomb,
- 58:38Speaker 8: and I'm scared of what she might do. Is it
- 58:41Speaker 8: time to sell this house? Or should I be honest
- 58:44Speaker 8: with my wife about my past?
- 58:46Speaker 7: Oh?
- 58:47Speaker 8: Yes, yes, it's way past time for you to sell
- 58:51Speaker 8: that house. But listen, what happened happened a long time
- 58:55Speaker 8: ago between you and your neighbor, before you even met
- 58:58Speaker 8: your wife. For you knew your wife, so technically you
- 59:01Speaker 8: did not cheat on your wife. I know Steve is
- 59:04Speaker 8: not going to agree with me on this, but in
- 59:06Speaker 8: this case, I really think you can tell your wife
- 59:09Speaker 8: the truth about your past relationship with the neighbor and
- 59:13Speaker 8: your wife won't be too mad about it. You know
- 59:16Speaker 8: she won't be too mad. You could tell her. I'm
- 59:19Speaker 8: telling you you can tell her because it happened before
- 59:23Speaker 8: you met her. I do agree with you'd be.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Quiet, Steve. I knew you were going to agree with that.
- 59:30Speaker 8: I do agree with you, letter writer that you should
- 59:33Speaker 8: have said you should have sold this house back in
- 59:37Speaker 8: the day and moved away, because the neighbor lady as
- 59:40Speaker 8: you call her, has become quite attached. She's become very entitled,
- 59:44Speaker 8: thinking she can call you all times of the day
- 59:46Speaker 8: and night, and now she's even in an imaginary competition
- 59:50Speaker 8: with your wife. That's all in her head, not to
- 59:53Speaker 8: mention that she's beyond rude, she's disrespectful and all of this.
- 59:58Speaker 8: So your choices are a continue to stay there and
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: risk your wife leaving you like she said she would,
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: because your neighbor is crazy and it will only escalate
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: if she doesn't get what she wants, and of course that's.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: You or be your choices.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: Get a realtor, put your house on the market asap,
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: and move. Okay, I'm sure your wife suspects something went
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: down between the two of you anyway, that's why your
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: neighbor acts so crazy. But it's best to get on
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: while you can move out from this toxic situation before
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: she ruins your marriage.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Steve, what.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Should what you say? I tell her she ain't gonna
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: be too mad mad, she'll be mad. I don't know
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: what too mad is to you? You mad, period, it's
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: a subject that is Lena. I should have moved out
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: before I gotten married. That's the whole dog own problem, homie.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: You should have moved, should have been moved. You gotta
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: get out. You ought to lead nine, you ought to
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: lead the country. It's so much you should have did
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: and should do. But it's too late because you're stupid.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: My neighbor then became a problem. My wife is starting
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: to notice. Wives don't miss nothing. Back in the day,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: I rented the house I live in from my next
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: do neighbor's husband before he died. He sold me the house. Okay,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: that's interesting. I'm not proud of this. But after his death,
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I was at his house a lot having sex with
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: his widow. All right, all right, now, Yeah, it started
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: with home cooked meals, and now I felt obligated to
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: help her do stuff around the house. You know, she
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: was very beautiful woman, and she looked so lonely back then.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: I thought I'd go over here and fix that. That's
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: what he should have said. I eventually told her that
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: we couldn't see. This is what a letter took a
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: jump from me, and I felt obligated to help her
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: do things around. How She's a very beautiful woman and
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: she looked so lonely back then. I eventually told her
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: that we couldn't have sex anymore. At what you said, dog,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: You told her we can't have sex no more because
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I'd have met somebody special. And then months later she
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: met the lady that's my wife now. The neighbor lady
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: said she was happy for me, but she asked me
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: to have sex with her one last time before I
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: fell in love and forgot about her. Listen to this
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: fellas I refuse the sex.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Boy boy, Hang on, Steve, you're forgetting who you.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Wrote this letter to you? Hear what I said? This
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: beautiful woman that he had I refuse the sick Just
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: come over here one more time.
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: Of your response coming up Steve at twenty three minutes
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: after the hour, Today's Strawberry letter subjects I should have
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: moved before I got married.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:10Speaker 18: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: What is it that makes the all new Hyundai Palisade
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Hybrid and incredible suv? Is it the spacious interior that's
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: comfy for the whole crew? Maybe it's having up to
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: six hundred plus miles of range. What if it's all
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: of that and more? What is it then?
- 1:03:33Speaker 11: The all new Hondai Palisade Hybrid so much more than
- 1:03:37Speaker 11: just another suv. Visit Houndai USA dot com or call

- 1:03:44Speaker 11: for more details.
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: Subject that it is I should have moved before I
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: got married.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Yeah, see, y'all, let me tell you something. I read
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: these letters differently. This is coming from a guy. I
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: respect Sherley's opinion on that she has every right to
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: think that this guy should just be open and tell
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: the truth. But here's the problem. He's saying, I should
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: have moved before I got married. It ain't in but
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: you didn't. My neighbor has become a problem, and my
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: wife is starting to notice. Here we are again, how
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: many times have I used what the legendary Bishop Barna
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: has seen be careful of people who are victims in
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: circumstances that they created themselves. Now my wife has My
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: neighbor has become a problem, and my wife's starting to notice.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: So now he got to write a letter. Back in
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: the day, you rented a house that you live in
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: from a friend of yours that live next door, your
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: neighbor's husband, and before he died, he sold me the house.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: I ain't proud of this, But after he died, I
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: was at the house a lot having sex with his widow.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: My man, Okay, cool, I ain't really no sin or
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: crime committed here, you know, So you waited till he died,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: all right, Well, I know you ain't proud of it,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: but you didn't stop going over there either. So now
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: it started with being at the house a lot having
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: sex with his widow. It started with home cooked meals,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: and I felt obligated to help her do things around
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: the house. She was a very beautiful woman, and she
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: looked so lonely back dude, so I just felt like,
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: you know, I would slide on through there and stop
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: some of these loneliness, right. I eventually told her that
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: we couldn't have sex anymore. Okay, I sure wish i'd
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: heard that, because I didn't met somebody special. And months
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: after that, she met the lady that's now the white
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: The neighbor lady told her she was happy for him
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: and everything, but she asked me to have sex with
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: her one last time before I fell in love and
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: forgot about it. I refused the sex, and I told
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: her I could never forget her. Okay, hold on, man,
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: let me understand this statement. You can never ever forget
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: her because obviously it was so good or special that
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: you kept going over there, and she asked you for
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: this one and you do favors for but she asked
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: you for one more favor, come over here one more time,
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: has sex with me. You refuse this sect and then
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: said I could never forget you. In the back of
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: my mind, I knew it was time for me to
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: sell my house and move far away from the neighbor
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: that was in the back of your mind. But what
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: was going on up at the front, because see, you
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: an't gonna tell us that. Let's just get for what's
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: happening in the front of your mind. She's still fine,
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: she's still a beautiful woman, and she wanted to have
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: sex one last time, but you didn't. But I stayed
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: in the house. I got married and moved my new
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: wife in with me. A year later. Now, a year later,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: my neighbor has been calling me all hours of the day.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: She's been calling you the whole time you've been married,
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: calling you all hours of the day and night to
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: do things for her. Monday night she called and as
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: if I could come and kill a lizard in her garage.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I did it. Now hold up, wait, man, hold up, brother,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: See you gotta realize who you talk. Come over to
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: my house and kill a lizard in the garage, and
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I did it. Come over here and have sex for
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: me one more time. I refuse it. Boy, boy, boy,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: you show me a man that would rather kill a
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: lizard than have sex. Just tell me that you see, man,
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: when you write these letters to me, man, you write
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: into another man. Now she can call you to do
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: anything you hop skip over there. But she call you
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: and ask you for some sex one more time you
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: refuse it. Man, stop that it don't even make no
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: sense to no dude listening to this letter. And when
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: it don't make sense to us, you really think that's
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: gonna get past a woman who are way smarter than us. Boy,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: you tell me I only I can't tell you how
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: much trouble you is. And I my wife was side
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: eyeing me like you the one over there, and listen,
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: she already know. Then yesterday the neighbor called and said
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: she had a sore throat and as if I could
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: run to get her two limits and some chicken noodle soup.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: I told my wife, and she said, if you go
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: to that stove, she was gonna leave me for good
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: because you don't even go to the stove for her.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: I was so nervous that my hand started shaking. You
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: know why, because you've never refused this woman before. You've
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: done everything, So why would she expect you not to
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: go get your chicken noodle soup in the limits? And
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: why would she not expect you to kill the lizard?
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: And that ain't the other, youtud. This is the two
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: things you never told about so when she asked you
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: for that sex one more time, you didn't go over
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: there and do that. Man, Come on, who you talking to?
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: So?
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: I was so nervous my hand started shaking. My neighbor
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: is a ticking bomb, and I'm scared of what she
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: might do? Is it time to sell the house? Or
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: should I be honest with my wife about my past?
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. Of all the stuff you
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: done typed in this letter, you saved the best stupidest
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: line for last. Or should I be honest with my
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: wife about the past? Listen to me, sir. Your wife
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: is already sighed. She trying to figure out and then
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: figure out why you always running over there and you
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: knew this woman before. Host Shirley said, I know Steve
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: is gonna disagree, but you should just be honest with him,
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: tell about the past. Let me ask you a question,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: what good will that do? That's when truth ain't gonna
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: help you at all. Why would you go over there
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: and tell her we used to screw. Why would you
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: go over there and say that?
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Post your comments on.

- 1:10:50Speaker 10: what I got on?
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: It is today, It's today, It's today. The NFL season
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: starts today. We got the we got the Cowboys and
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: the Eagles tonight. I know it ain't gonna be a
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: Super Bowl. All you Cowboy fans, calm down, You're not
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: going to the Super.
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: Bowl again this year. It's been told be thirty one.
- 1:11:10Speaker 9: Just gonna put that up there now, starting today, we're
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: gonna find out right tonight how your offense to do.
- 1:11:15Speaker 9: All right, So let let's just talk about this. Let's
- 1:11:18Speaker 9: see how we feel about some of these players. Travis Hunter,
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: How y'all feel about Travis Hunter his season? How y'all
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: see this going? Playing both ways from the Jaguars.
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: Is this gonna be? Is this gonna be Rookie of
- 1:11:28Speaker 10: the year.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: I haven't seen a single game. I don't know. I
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: know he's a great player both ways. Is gonna be
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: challenging though it is the NFL man the same Galllenge.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: He's playing defense and offense. Yeah, paying defensive offense.
- 1:11:43Speaker 9: Here go know sre Dore Sayders Huh with the Browns,
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: you know he's back.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Up, well, he's third, so several things is gonna have
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: to happen for him to play. Joe Flacco is gonna start.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Gabriel is the number two, and then she could should
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: do so, but he should do it. Is going to
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: prove to be a worthy Now, let me tell you
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: what the last game should do or played where what
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: didn't go well? He got sacked three or four times
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: and was under pressure and was making decisions. Four of
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: the linemen that he was playing behind, none of them
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: were first first stringers. No, all of those linemen are
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: no longer in the NFL. All of them got released. Ah,
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: So Shoudul will be fine when the opportunity presents itself. Okay,
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: all right, here we go. But here's what I predict.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: The Browns are so stupid what we will trade? Should
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: doul to somebody who is watched, should do it and
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: wh wow, this kid is a player. The Browns will
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: trade him because with that kind of.
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: Stupid, I'm gonna go ahead and say this, Tommy, feel
- 1:13:01Speaker 9: good for us to go to super Bowl. This ship,
- 1:13:03Speaker 9: this is our year. We're going to the super Bowl.
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: What is in the super Bowl?
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: I see that?
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: Yes, I see that.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Are y'all in the NFC or the a F C,
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: AFC AFC, y'all think past? Let me ask you question.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: Baltimore Ravens, yep, Buffalo Bills and can and can sit chief?
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Yeah about y'all think we're gonna do that? Hey man,
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: let me tell you something. If y'all don't go somewhere
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: and sit down and shut your mouth.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: Boy.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: Y'all need to find something else to hope for.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: All right, thank you you, and you're coming up at
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the top of the hour.
- 1:13:51Speaker 8: Young woman on social media needs an invite? She said,
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: Should I give him a proposal ultimatum? We'll talk about
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: Morning Show. All right, Steve, this woman needs some advice.
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: She's off of Steve Harvey FM. She says, my boyfriend
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: and I have been together for almost four years. We
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: live together and have a good relationship. The only thing
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: missing is a ring. Marriage has always been important to
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: me and I've been open about that, but whenever I
- 1:14:27Speaker 8: bring up the subject, he just says, quote someday. I
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: don't want to throw away a great relationship, but also
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: I don't want to waste years waiting for something that
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: may never happened. Some of my friends say I should
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: give him an ultimatum, like propose within the year or
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: we're done.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Well, listen, ladies, this is going to sound old fashion,
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: but if you really want to get married and have
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: a family and have a man's last name of however,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: y'all choose to do that? A I have to tell
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: you that that is old fashioned, that is the traditional
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: way of family.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: You all have to stop.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Giving a man the thing of his dreams without you
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: getting the thing of your dreams. If being a wife
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: and having a family is the day that you dream of,
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: make him give you that before you give him what
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: he dreams of. Because we don't have a dream of
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: our wedding day. We dream of the chick of our dreams.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: And if we can get you without the wedding day, bingo,
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: we got it all. We ain't got to spend no money,
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: we ain't got to buy no ring, we ain't got paving,
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: no wind, We get all of that. We get to
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: have sex. We got you in here, helping with this house,
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: You've giving us kids, You helping me plan a future
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: and pay these bills. E getting everything out of the
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: deal and you're getting nothing. So eventually you are going
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: to have to demand what you want. Now, listen to me.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: You're scared to let a good man go. So what
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: you're saying is you not a good woman. See what
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: need to be happening and happened to be understood here
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: is you may be afraid of letting a good man go.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: But he needs to be scared the death of letting
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: a good woman go because they hard to find. Man,
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Real good women, come on, facts that far. Yeah, real
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: good women that are staying with you no matter what.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: That's right, Richard, poor sickness and health, you got one
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: of them. Listen to me, man, don't throw that out
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: to when I know so many guys who've done that
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: and regretted it. So you have to understand your power too. Now.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: In the letter, did she say they have kids.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: No, she didn't say.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Lady, listen, you keep if y'all keep doing what y'all doing,
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: y'all gonna have some baby funning around here and you
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: still ain't gonna read. So wake up, ladies. And it's
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: a soft ultimatum. You know. Hey, Look, if we're not
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: engaged by Christmas, I'm gonna start preparing to move out.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: If I don't get some commitment from you, I'm prepare
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: to move out.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: After four years, it's looking together. It ain't like y'all
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: don't know each other.
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: Laying house, yeah, playing house, ye, playing. But one thing
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: I need to let him know, uncle that after he
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: get married, the sex does go down.
- 1:17:38Speaker 10: It does just so you good.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: Not get down. That's what I found out.
- 1:17:45Speaker 9: I got a good woman, but I know the sex
- 1:17:48Speaker 9: is gone down. I know I'll be trying, but it
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: just don't happen.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: So keep playing house. That's get married.
- 1:17:54Speaker 10: You get this pain I got.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: That's true state mission.
- 1:18:02Speaker 8: You can't disagree with it, Steve, because you're too busy.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Why is he saying that you looking off?
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: Because I tried to be romantic in the kitchen, got
- 1:18:17Speaker 9: hit with a spatul.
- 1:18:18Speaker 10: I ain't been back in there. Jump hands off me.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Okay, But before the wedding, what happened to you?
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: Wed goly boy?
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I was something.
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: As soon as we drove off from that building, I
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: knew it was over then I do.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Sorry about that, Junior.
- 1:18:43Speaker 8: Coming up, We'll have more on the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: Show right after this.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: This is from Kenny on Steve Harvey.
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: F M.
- 1:18:59Speaker 8: Kenny said, over the past Labor Day weekend, my homie
- 1:19:03Speaker 8: invited me and my girlfriend out on a double date
- 1:19:05Speaker 8: to meet the new woman in his life.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: It was a nice.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: Evening until she said this quote it's amazing that we
- 1:19:13Speaker 8: have Mother's Day and Labor Day, and that is really
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: nice that we celebrate childbirth the way we do. The
- 1:19:22Speaker 8: woman isn't from another country either. My girl and I
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: looked each looked at each other like what. I'm so
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: confused because my homie has always told me that intelligence
- 1:19:33Speaker 8: was a major turn on for him. Do I talk
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: to him about this issue? She can't be this dumb?
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: What do you think she thought that labor Day.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Was about giving labor?
- 1:19:45Speaker 8: Yeah, labor pains, giving birth, Yeah, it.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Is nothing in me? Could have let that go?
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: What would you have said? What would you?
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Wait what I got Mother's date? What are you thinking?

- 1:25:12Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: day on this Thursday. It's been a fun day. We've
- 1:25:17Speaker 8: had a good day. Thank you very much for listening
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: every day. We appreciate your business. We do twenty years, yes,
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: twenty years strong to still number one.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: You couldn't do it without you. Thank you, thank you,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: thank you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: We appreciate you all righty d kay, You know my
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: closing remarks today is going to remind everybody about this
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: thing that we all have to endure. The thing that
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: all of us have to endure is called failure. Failure
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: happens to be a part of the process. Nobody, nobody
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: living gets to go through life and not experience failure.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: What stops most people, and the saying is the number
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: one cause of failure is the fear of failure. Now
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: understand what's that's saying. The number one cause for failure
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: is the fear of failure. See, it is the fear
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: of falling that makes you not want to climb. It
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: is the fear of being let go which makes you
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: not want to commit. It is the fear of being
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: hurt that makes you not want to love. But in
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: not climbing, in not falling, and in not experiencing love,
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: you've already failed. You've already failed. But it's the fear
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: of that. That is the number one cause of failure.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: So what do you have to do, Steve? You have
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: to understand what failure really is, and it is a
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: part of growth, a part of learning, and a huge
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: part of success. There are no successful people who have
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: not failed that. They just don't exist. And they will
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: all tell you that. And they have failed over and
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: over and over. And every time I see you, something
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: don't work. You know how many times somebody told me that,
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: you know, working at jobs, got laid off, got released.
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: You know, bids of carbon cleaning company went down, the
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: rib joint went down. The A. L. Williams insurance didn't
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: work out. The bohemian diet I was selling didn't work
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: out though, shackly products I was selling that didn't work out.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: Trying to be a way representative that didn't work out.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: Do you know, as my friends watched me, you know
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: how many times they've said, man, every time I turn around,
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: you doing something that don't work, instead of saying, hey, man, boy,
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: you show trying. Man, I really really admire your effort,
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: don't You're not gonna get that. They just gonna look
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: at their failures because people kind of enjoy that. I
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: remember one time, a dear friend of mine went by
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: to see my mother one time and hadn't nobody heard
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: from me in Cleveland for a while. Because I didn't
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: want to tell nobody I was homeless. I just I
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: never shared that with anybody. I never called my brothers
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: or my homeboys and my Mama and daddy. I never
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: told him, hey, look, I'm messed up out here. I'm homeless.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: But a friend of mine went by my parents' house
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: one time and he told him. They said, hey, y'all
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: heard from Steve. Well, Rick, we hear from Mary nine.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: Then my mom was telling him, you know, he called
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: me and let me know. He came and he said, well,
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: miss Harvey, you know the problem with Steve. She said
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: what she said, and he said, Steve lazy, Steve don't
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: want to work. And my mother told me that the
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: next time I called it, she said, Steve, beware of
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: your friends because one of your friends said you lazy
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: and you don't want to work. But I know my
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: husband didn't raise no lazy boys. I said, no, Mama,
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: it ain't that I'm lazy and I don't want to work.
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: I just don't want to work for nobody else. I
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: want to do something and get it for myself. That
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: was the whole thing with me. And yeah, you know, man,
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: you know miss Harvey. He tried this. He went down
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: the list of everything I told y'all I had tried
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: and failed at. But he never once said, Man, Steve, really,
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: I really admire how he gets back up and keeps
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: going in the face of no matter what happens to him.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: And that has been an essential part of my success.
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: And I really really thank God for it because he
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: has given me the ability to get up. He has
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: taught me that if if you get up, I'm still here.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: I'm still in charge, I'm still with you. Just keep
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: getting up. I got something better for you. I keep
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: waking you up in the morning. I have something for you,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: but I need you to get up and keep taking
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: your steps. Steve Harvey. And somehow all the teachings that
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: my mother gave me as a Sunday school teacher was
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: coming into play. I could hear her again saying to
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: me over and over the little Bible verses and stuff,
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: and it kept me with the ability to get back up.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: Failure is a learning. Failure is an experience. Failure is
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: a part of the process. You've got to go through
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: it to get to it. That is no free lunch, man,
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: Ain't no free meals out here. It's gonna cost you something.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: But when you endure the failures, you gonna look up.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: You know what I'm doing so well? Now, do you know?
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: It's kind of crazy, man, I look back on my failures.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: It don't matter that my carpacato company called clothes. It
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: don't make It don't even matter that that carpet installation
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: bus has closed, that my restaurant closed. It don't matter
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: that I didn't do well in anweight. It don't matter
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: that Shackley didn't work for me.
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: A L.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: Williams didn't work for me, that I got laid off
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: at for it, It don't even matter, because what God
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: gave to me was so much more than what I
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: was losing that it don't even make no sense. Failure
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: is a part of the process. Keep failing because eventually
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: you gonna win. If you keep failing, that means you
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: are constantly trying. And that's the process you need to
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: be in. And congratulation for for for winning failure after
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: failure after failure, and watch what's gonna happen. You're gonna
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: have a story to tell. Those are my clothes remarks. Hey, listen,
